none of you are safe new episodes every wednesday wherever you get your podcasts well well well look
who finally came around to the mirror ball trophy shooter magooter welcome to dancing with the stars
new recap for the boys uh i'm excited to get into it it's a lot of fun and uh what's more to say
I mean, well, we have a podcast, so we have more to say.
But, you know, you know what I mean.
I'm just turning phrases.
Bros and shows.
I got to have me my pros and shows.
Bros and shows.
Frozen shows.
I got to have me my pros and shows.
Good morning, everybody.
Welcome back to another episode of Frozen shows.
I'm your co-host.
Steel Russell, joined as always by the one and only.
Ballroom Magout's.
What's up, dude?
I feel like you've been waiting years to say that.
I haven't yet.
I said that at my wedding to you.
You called me Ballroom Magoutes.
Yep, they don't remember because you were too drunk.
I shouldn't have had an open bar.
What am I supposed to do?
It wouldn't have mattered.
I would have been drunk either way.
But, yeah, so this recap idea just kind of came about organically.
I spent my Wednesday night.
I don't know what day it is.
Yeah, I spent my Wednesday night watching the day.
dances uh full disclosure here i do not care about the commentary at all so i watch there i mean
some people do some people don't a lot of people fast forward through so you're not alone there
i like the post dance commentary obviously to get the breakdown some of them are interesting
like sometimes i'll tune in to what they're saying like chit chatting about uh but especially
early on like as you start to get into it more like you'll start to get invested in some of them
individually and then you'll want to hear some of the ins and outs but like you kind of
lead and gravitate towards your favorites?
I legitimately watched a lot of like the intro stuff where, you know, they're just kind
of practicing and getting the ball rolling, if you will.
I think I watched.
Look at that.
The Len Goodman mirror, do you don't, do you even know Len?
Like, this is the thing.
So I have a background.
I love dancing with the stars.
I've always loved dancing with the stars.
My first foyer into it was, uh, when I was playing,
junior college baseball in west
Texas and my grandmother loved
it and I was living with my grandparents because they live
in Odessa and I was going to
Juco and Midland. So
I would watch it with my grandmother
and we would just talk about it was
the Chas Bono season and we would just
watch Tass for the stars together and shoot
the shit and I got hooked ever
since then. You
you're a newbie. A very
very newbie. A full blown newbie. I've
never watched a minute of this show.
You gave me shit for it and I was like, well, whoa,
you haven't watched it then yeah no i've watched clips before um i've watched a little bit here
and there but i don't know something something just got me going and i know exactly uh well it was
one person that really sold me and uh i think you can kind of figure out exactly who it is he's an
absolute sweetheart and he uh he sold me i saw i am thinking you're going to say something sweet
about your girlfriend if you give it to dylan effron wasn't even dylan effron it's not even
Dylan Fron. It's Robert Irwin. Of course. Come on.
I mean, what a dream boat. Am I right?
Just an absolute gem of a person.
I think I was on TikTok and I saw a couple of things and I'm like, oh, hell yeah. Let's do this.
Also, it just seems to be a great cast and a lot of people might think, well, I guess it makes sense, bros and shows is going to cover this because it's got secret lives and Mormon wives on it.
I don't give a fuck about the secret lives of Mormon wives.
their show as you know we stopped covering their show it just it just got too weird i don't really
care about them i think whitney did an incredible job uh which is great and we're probably gonna pick
up next season let's be real uh but anyway continue are we're doing taylor frankie paul
bachelorette so it's like we are too well that's the thing is i'm okay like taylor frankie
paul's great i think she's great for reality tv i think whitney's also pretty good i don't care
about jenn aflack i think that whole thing is fake um we'll get into it as we talk about her dance
know the beginning and all of that shit but um yeah so uh robert irwin definitely sold me on it
or yeah uh dylan afron definitely sold me on it as well corey feldman also sold me on it because
what a backstory that guy's got uh even to pull out the that michael jansen dance moves i was like
whoa because you know he was in a music video back in the day i know yeah he also performs with mj at
the rose on stage like yeah yeah there's obviously the core
Feldman's story is a crazy one child star went through a whole lot of turmoil nice to see him
out there you know cutting up a rug this is a solid cast and like that's the thing with the show
i would say especially recent years like back back when i watched it it was somewhat hit or miss
because it was big but it was like i don't know when the culture shock happened of like dancing
with the stars turned into absolute must watch TV.
Somewhere in the last five or ten years, I think, like, that seems to have switched over.
It was, I, you know, it's actually really funny, as I said to my girlfriend, if Taylor,
if Travis Kelsey didn't get engaged to Taylor Swift, in four or five years, he'd be on this show.
Now there's no chance he's ever on the show.
But in like four or five years after he retires, he would be on the show for sure.
he could totally be on this show when he retires yeah no not even remote here's the thing yes
there's absolutely a check okay you don't relax calm down please it's friday morning i'm trying to relax
here's why you got understand here's why because they can offer him a fat contract and
they will make an insane amount of money through viewers if they're able to lock in
Travis Kelsey because every single
Swiftie. I know. And I don't put it past him though. That's what I'm saying.
Like obviously we had that Travis Kelsey dating show, which was a disaster.
That's what made me actually think that if he wasn't engaged in getting married to Taylor Swift,
he would do this. This is right up his alley. And he would be there in a couple of years.
But the whole Taylor Swift effect, no chance that he's on this. It's going to be. I disagree.
He's going to still have his podcast. All right, let's make a bet. I'll bet you a thousand dollars. I'll bet you a thousand dollars that he's
What's the time frame?
Ten years?
$1,000 for 10 years.
I'll do $100.
I'll do $100 that he's on it in the next time.
Not that confident.
No, I just don't want to bet a thousand dollars on dancing with the fucking stars.
I'll bet you $100.
Why?
Are you not as invested in this as I am?
No, you're not going to gaslight me in and out of this.
I will bet you $100 in the next 10 years, Travis Kelsey is on the show.
All right.
Cool.
Are we adjusting for inflation or what?
No, because at that point, $100 is going to be worth 50 fucking skins.
Let me laugh so I don't cry.
Oh, boy.
But speaking with Taitay, one of the pros, one of the new pros was on the Ares tour,
which I actually thought was kind of cool.
Couldn't be paired up with a worse person for that,
because I do feel like Jen Affleck,
who somehow lucked herself into actually meeting that Affleck via Dunkin' Donuts.
because that is kind of funny that is kind of funny but like that strikes me as the type of person that off camera was immediately like wait wait can you can you call taylor and like can she come and like hang out with us i guarantee you that's exactly what she did but he's also a newbie so i do kind of feel bad for jenn because the the newbies obviously they're professional dancers but they don't really know what to expect they're trying to make a name for themselves so you kind of get i'm sure every season is like this but i'm sure you get kind of get the short end of a stick when you get a newbie
because you don't really know it's the new they don't know yeah the new pros tend to get the long
shots the andy rickers uh yeah you know the Corey Feldman's um not every time but a lot of
a time is a little while Corey Feldman has the the winner from last year with Joey so yes
yes not every time but yeah the long shots I see the way that I would dream it up I guess
would be the more experienced dancers the more experienced pros would work with the long shots
because it would be a little easier for them to kind of work with it
versus, you know, working with somebody who's clearly got like a ton of rhythm.
But it's so interesting the breakdown of this because the first dance,
and I'm just jumping right into this shit, the first dance is with a Olympic gymnast.
So in my mind, which I've, again, never watched the show before,
but in my mind, I'm like, that's unfair.
That is brutally unfair.
This girl is going to do backhand stands and backflips and be able to jump and do whatever
the hell she wants.
But then I watch the dance and I'm like,
a little rigid.
Yeah.
Gotta get some rhythm.
And it's the first dance.
I'm not going to be too critical, obviously.
I probably won't know.
No, I was going to say I probably won't be too critical this season.
But let's be very honest.
I'm going to be the guy sitting on the couch with fucking cheese puffs safe.
I can do that.
Fucking miss that step.
Yeah.
No,
I never see shoulders as you throw popcorn at the screen.
Well,
it's interesting.
The entire Olympics,
yeah.
Because with Jordan Childs,
like she's got big shoes to fill as far as her performance goes because we've had
simone biles who crushed it sooningly crushed it and she's coming in there so that kind of
sucks for her because everyone's expecting what you just said gymnast gymnast gold medalist or
olympic medalist and everyone this uh seems like nostia was on this or like sean john john johnson
like that john john johnson was john johnson back in the day was so it's like that's an easy
plug and play because you expect them to be good and i think jordan child's like obviously very
coachable so like she's probably going to get it figured out just has to learn that's the one knock
that the gymnasts always get is because the way that they're taught to hold their posture
is different than you're supposed to hold it as a answer right so it's like teaching them how to like
hit their poses and stuff like that differently than uh when they're doing gymnastics
but yeah she's got a it's tough because of her predecessors because they were so amazing but
I thought she did fine you know she was pretty good and I love Ezra Ezra Sosa is one of my
more enjoyable pros so I really like the first dance again I thought the same thing you did you know
and we're also we're a judge down Carrie Ann's not here right so do you know Carrie Annan and Abba
nope you'll come to meet her she's great she's been around for uh where is she entirety what's she
doing she's sick i guess oh come on calling out sick i'm i'm gonna say covid just because like she's
not there so maybe like that's still a rule i don't know what the rules are anymore um but
and then of course the late great lend goodman who you don't know who passed away he was the
the old head on the panel namesake of the trophy yes and he passed away i believe last year or
the year prior and he was like the tough judge and now great timing for me to get into it huh yeah
Um, so, like, I loved Len.
And of course, we have Bruno, who is now somewhat like he originally wasn't as
turning into the hard ass.
He's, he's getting more tough.
And I think that you need to be because, uh, Huff is always going to be the like, that was great,
but, you know, like Derek Huff is always kind of like the upbeat one.
Carrie Ann's kind of middle of the road.
Len was the hard ass.
Uh, so now, now Bruno's kind of taken on that role, which is fun.
But I, I've always loved Bruno.
He's, he's great.
His commentary is always spot on.
Well, I do love that, obviously, first episode of the season,
they're not going to be too critical.
I don't think, I think we only got, like, the worst score that we got was a nine,
and there were two of them.
Corey Feldman got a nine and Andy Richter got a nine.
Which, you know, was pretty much expected.
Those two are probably the long shots as far as, I wonder if you can bet on this.
You could absolutely bet on this.
There's no way you can bet on this.
Well, we got to pick at the end of this, we got to pick our top three.
No, I want to do it.
I want to like, I want to put like monetary value on this.
No, I understand.
I'm just saying we have to do our prop bets at the end of who our top three is going
to be.
Yeah, we definitely.
As per usual.
Yeah.
But yeah, so that being said, obviously, they start off.
You get a 10.
I kind of pick it up immediately.
I picked up the scoring very quickly as to what they're going to do.
And you can actually tell, which is kind of interesting, having no background of this.
You can tell a really good dance versus a, you can do some work versus a, you can do some
work versus a yeah you're going to have some shit to figure out here i love i love this commentary
because as you'll see as we start to get into it more that is not true it's true now because like
you're watching them uh i don't know why you're so combative this morning do you need to have like a cup
of coffee what do you know i've watched this my point is like it's funny because i'm trying to tell you
like i thought the same thing the first dance the first couple weeks that rings true when you start
to get into it and they start to weed out some of the weaker contestants, you'll watch a dance,
okay, and it's going to blow you away and you're going to be like emotional, you're like,
wow, that was incredible.
Like, that's a 10.
And you get to the judges, they're like, you know, you weren't pointed here.
You're off time and they give them like a six and you're like, wait a minute.
That was exceptional.
So like, yes for now, but as you start to get into it, I promise you you'll have a moment
where you're like, that was the best dance you've ever seen.
And they'll get like a 12 total.
And you're like, what the fuck.
Yeah, so it's great.
Because you learn very quickly that you think you know.
And I was the same way.
I was like, I can judge this shit.
And then you get into it.
You're like, oh, I have no idea what I'm talking about.
That's incredible.
Yeah.
I mean, when do I really ever listen to what you're telling me?
No, never.
I was just saying quit being bitchy this morning.
Cheer up, you crump.
I'm very happy.
I'm incredibly happy.
I'm actually too happy.
I think that's a problem for me.
Oh, there it is.
That's why.
Yeah, when I get too happy, then it's like I know everything.
and you know something.
You're stupid.
Yes, you can bet on this.
So just know, and I'm not going to mention anything because I don't know if we're allowed
to mention anything specifically, but just know, somewhere in Philadelphia, I will be watching
and I will be gambling on it heavily because that is really fun.
I see you down at like the live casino at the bar.
Like, fuck.
I can do it from my phone on my couch, which is beautiful.
Yeah, I know.
But in my head, you're, you're surrounded by empty beer bottles at the casino watching it and screaming.
And everyone's like, what, what did you lose at Blackjack?
Like, no, fucking Carrie Ann.
How was that six?
Those types of events are in theory, really fun.
Like, you go to a live casino and they have a sports book or whatever, and they have a million TVs up there.
And, you know, the biggest games on the big one, in theory, they're really fun.
And you walk in and you're a little overwhelmed.
Then you sit down and, like, I know a couple of people that will sit there for hours and just,
drink beers, eat food, and watch, and just gamble and everything, I get so antsy
after like, I got to get out of here.
I can't do this.
And it's not because I need to get to the blackjack table.
It's because I don't like sitting at one place for too long.
Yeah.
Amidst my heyday back in the day, there was a dog track in Bradenton that had 50 cent pitchers
before 2 p.
I don't like dog tracks.
Love dog tracks.
And I would bet all day on the dogs and drink 50 cent pictures and eat $1.
hot dogs and gamble on dogs for hours on end after I got back after I got done playing

night fail with new episodes every other Thursday. Get it wherever you get your podcasts. Yes,
even there. Let's get back to the dances. Yeah, let's just move on to the next dance.
I don't think I have this in order. I just kind of wrote down something. I have him in order.
I got you. Dylan and Daniela. Yeah, Dylan and Daniela are next. Dylan did better than I thought.
I thought that he'd be, because let's be very honest, Dylan is like baby girl. I feel like he was going to be a little nervous.
But I think you have a little added boost in the crowd rooting for him that really got his confidence spiked because Boston Rob was out there with his daughters.
And that's what we love to see.
Be Rob in the house.
I love that they have found this best friendship out of traders, like the most unlikely duo ever.
Love their friendship.
But that's a big part of this.
You know, it's not all about the dancing.
A lot of it has to do with the votes and the popularity.
Dylan Efron, as we know, after traders, especially massive following now.
People love this guy.
He's no longer Zach's brother.
He stands alone now, which is kind of cool for him.
I was under the impression because Zach is a phenomenal dancer.
You know, he was in the greatest showman and, you know, high school musical, all that stuff.
We've seen him move.
So in my head, I'm like, well, you know, he might be shy.
But I think Dylan can probably move.
I think that's what we got out of the first dance.
We did.
Yeah.
It's a first dance cheaters.
Yeah, he's learning.
he's getting a little bit more loose and I do think like comparing it to the first dance obviously
going up against a gymnast the gymnast is able to do all the tricks and flips and whatever
till it's just there to have some fun and having fun it's probably going to get you a long way
yeah and I think that early on you're just trying to get people to like you right you want them
to uh to gravitate towards you show that you know kind of what you're doing I think he did
enough like when he was doing like the wiggles and shit i'm like all right there's definitely some rhythm
in there we just got to get you out of your shell like even when they're practicing he's like oh god
i got to do that i'm like dude yeah you got to say goodbye to shame just get out there and shake
your ass for us and i i appreciate that milkshake was the song of choice to force him out of that
shell i think he's going to be good i would imagine his brother may give him some tips along
the way you know i would love a zach effron's sighting in the crowd that would be great so i i was
thinking about the Zach Efron's sighting.
One, he is incredibly dizzy, but two, I do wonder, and I have no idea what their
dynamic is, but I do wonder if he's like, I'm going to let you have it.
This is your time to shine.
Maybe he'll show up if Dylan is so, you know, there's elimination.
If it gets far enough, you know, maybe semifinals or something, you might see Dylan
or Zach in the crowd, but I don't know if he's going to show up early.
Just, you know, I'm going to take the spotlight off of his brother.
That's the vibe I get from them.
Yeah, that's the vibe I get from them, very respectful of each other, very happy for his brother that he's found the success.
But overall, I mean, just from what we understand about Dylan Ephron, just a lovely human being.
Great to see him out there.
Great to see him having a good time.
He was excited.
I'm excited.
That's what we want.
Well, let's take a walk down memory lane right now.
Let's open up the nostalgia bucket because Elaine Hendricks, the stepmother in the parent trap, and this is what I always
love about dancing with the stars they will always lean into where you know these people from
every time like Corey with the Michael Jackson dance we get the parent trap she's got the big
hat to start I remember that hat vividly from the parent trap uh they even did the the secret
handshake from the parent trap with like the mud and everything so I was stoked about that she
got her start as a dancer and then was hit by a car and shifted to acting I guess or was
acting and then just decided not to dance after she was hit by a car.
Yeah, I think she was probably doing a little bit of both.
It seemed like she kind of started off being a professional dancer, but was trying to
break into acting.
And then obviously after a traumatic event like that, you just kind of shift her focus.
So good for her that she found it.
Good to see her back on the screen.
She seems like such a nice person too.
And I know a lot of people our age who have watched Per and Trap a bunch of times,
we're very excited to see that and especially that little handshake that they did.
good incorporation i feel like it wasn't too you're going to get a lot of a lot of cheesiness
in some of these dances of course but i thought that worked out really well i think i think it worked
with the dance yeah and i always enjoy the cheesy moments especially like in in her dance like
she did really well you can tell she's got a background of dancing uh i think she got a 12 12 out
of 20 again we're down to judge so we're rating on the 20 scale yeah i believe she hit a 12
which is a solid first dance i'll i have some gripes about the scoring
later i've already talked to you a little bit about it i we were talking about this yesterday after we
recorded i literally had to be like you know what save it for the podcast uh it was one of those moments
where we were still like kind of just talking about it and obviously it's a very easy show to
figure out how we're going to recap it but we were just having a goofy time we were excited to
just cover something and have a little bit of fun uh although we've had we've been having a lot of
fun recently except for a certain show um and we were cracking some jokes and then and then you
got heated and I'm like whoa let's I thought we were going to have fun it's a silly goofy fun
time but that doesn't mean that's a judge in the middle of dancing with the stars I didn't see
that coming I don't know if I particularly enjoy that I thought we were going to have fun you know
get what you get what you get with me okay you're you're in this you signed over for life all right
the only way out of this is in a box and it's not going to be a rant but I do have some
greats about it to be fair though if I'm allowed to gamble on this week to week you might
get a really happy me after we record you might get a really pissed off me after i think that's
going to be a fun dynamic of the recaps is how did shooter do over the week like a re-up her down dude
we up her down we'll just keep a tab black or green buddy on our winnings which will be a lot of fun but let's get
to our secret mormon wife secret life of mormon wife whitney levitt she starts out uh jenn affleck goes
later and she's with mark she's great and the song choice
Have you watched K-pop Demon Hunters before?
Yeah.
Okay, good.
By the way, it is.
That soundtrack is on my Spotify.
I think in the second spot next to a podcast I listen to almost every day.
That's the soundtrack that I go to all the time.
Good.
It's a fucking banger.
Poppy put that movie on this.
I was like,
what the hell is this?
And after two minutes,
I was planted on the couch,
watched it without saying it.
I came over and I was blasting this exact song in the car on the way over.
And I came in and I was talking.
talking to you and Dev about it.
And you were like, what are you talking about?
And then when I said the name of it, you're like, oh, yeah, that movie's fucking great.
It's awesome.
I can't wait for the sequel to come out.
They can make 30 of these and I'll watch every single one.
I was not expecting it to be as good as it was.
So immediately she gets a good score for me from song choice.
I am not the biggest Whitney fan.
No, but she does have a background in dancing, as we know.
You know, this is a little bit of a different scenery than, you know, the NICU.
but I mean she did a good job
come I can't wait to see the first
stitched reel of her on like a green screen of her on the
ballroom floor and already saw it
a child already happens is it that yeah see
that already happens that's a layup
she's never going to get away from that one nor
nor does she deserve to it was yeah that was so bad
but she gets a 15 yeah she gets a 15 highest score
than night at least at this point in time
She looked the most loose, the most prepared, the most ready.
It seems like, yeah, she was very composed.
It was kind of funny because sitting front row was every single wife from Secret Lives.
Even the ones that I don't remember their names, to be very honest.
What's the new one's name?
That's the one that was pissing me off.
I never looked at.
Oh, the friend that was part of the swinging.
I forget, I can see her face, but I forget what her name is.
yeah whatever who cares it doesn't matter um i uh yeah when i looked over and saw them i'm like
oh yeah it's a bc hulu right of course they're all going to be there they're still promoting the
show uh so that makes sense i thought they were there as friends they're there because it's their
job uh but even taylor was there so i like to see that yeah you love to see it and taylor obviously
about to start her journey as the bachelorette i'm i'm i can't tell you excited i am for that
I love that they are deciding to shake that whole thing out.
That's a story for a different day.
It's going to be fucking insane in the best way possible.
But let's get, I love when they have professional athletes on this show.
Oh, yeah.
It's so good.
And Barron Davis, who two-time NBA All-Star, fucking massive human being,
I forget who was on it a few years ago.
And he was exceptional.
He did a dance to what's the movie?
It's a Jordan Peel, not get out.
Nope.
Nope.
Nope.
Nope.
No, it wasn't nope.
The one with the body doubles.
The red jumpsuits.
Yep.
I can't remember the name of us.
Us.
He did an interpretive dance of us.
And it was, it blew me away.
And this is the perfect example because I watched it.
Let me see who that was.
Dancing with the Stars.
Amon Schumpert?
Yes.
I think yeah yeah but he's he's a little unfair because he has a ton of dancing he was
yeah um yeah because his wife isn't she a singer or something he what uh tiana taylor but they got
divorced um but he was in one of her music videos and it was i mean there was a lot of sexy dancing
going on on that one i remember that that was huge news but that was right before and i think that
pretty much got him on the show at that point.
Okay.
Doing that music video with his wife at the time.
So he,
yeah,
he was a little unfair.
I would say like him,
you know,
obviously we talked about Victor Cruz.
I think last week when we were doing news,
talking about that coming back out.
A professional athlete being on this always works.
It just always hits the right way.
I thought he did pretty good.
You know,
I think he did probably better than I expected.
And,
uh,
judges didn't really tend to agree.
You know,
he did,
uh,
can't touch this.
MC Hammer.
He had the hammer pants on.
Yep,
had the hammer pants on.
So really committed to the bit.
We love to see that too.
And,
you know,
we'll just have to see how that goes.
I feel like coachability.
We talked about it with,
uh,
uh,
with Jordan Childs in the beginning.
The coachability of professional athletes always works.
You know,
if they're really going to commit to it and they're going to listen,
they'll be able to figure it out.
Yep.
And a lot of basketball is footwork.
So he will be able to get his footwork down.
The issue always arises up here.
most of the problems as you'll come to find out is your shoulders and your posture so it's more about can he
figure that out he'll get the footsteps in like that i'm not concerned about i don't know the problem
with some of these uh longer shots is that the top tier dancers this year are really good like
there's a lot of really good first dances a lot of the time it's more of a mixed bag i was impressed
with quite a few of them.
So you will see one or two
that seem like they don't know what they're doing
and they're just kind of like click one week.
You're like, oh, wow.
So it's not like they're out yet.
But I do think that Barron's got a,
he's got a big hill to climb
if he's going to stick around for a long time
because our next dancer is Alex Earle,
who everybody knows who she is,
massive influencer, obviously,
one of the biggest on the planet.
She was great.
She did an amazing job.
She's with Val, who is, like, one of the OG, like, heartthrob pros on this show.
So she's got a good partner.
She's also very capable.
She wowed the judges with a 13.
I think they danced to, what was it?
Britney Spears.
Britney Spears, yeah.
So I think that she's got a long, long life on this show.
I think that she's going to do very well.
I'm, uh, she's not in my top three, but I can see her being in many's top three.
yeah that's the thing that's going to come into play obviously is the fan vote and some of it's
going to be a little unfair um as we know you can't really trust fans with voting they're just
going to vote their favorites regardless of what they do i think you should just stick to voting
who the best is how about that guys can we just can we just have some integrity anybody steal
you integrity we ain't got no integrity what they're talking about uh yeah no there's not
going to be a whole lot of integrity. She's going to get along. And obviously, like, she's good enough.
And she was in the top five with her scoring at the end of it. So she's going to get enough votes
where it'll make some sense to a certain extent. But if she's in the finals and she doesn't deserve
to be in the finals, you're going to hear a lot of gripes out of me. Yeah, I think that that's the
other thing that you can pretty much predict more or less, like, what the remaining five or six
is going to be. I will say it's going to, it will change because one of your favorites that
you think is a stud is going to have a shit week and you're going to be like, what the hell
happened? That stuff happened more, more frequently than, uh, than you would expect. But I think
that she's got a good shot at making it deep into this competition. I like to dance. I don't know
a lot about. I know who she is, obviously. Yeah. But I don't like follow her or anything. So I'm not
super familiar, but obviously everybody knows who Alex Earl is. And it takes us to Scott Hoying from
Pentatonics, who I know nothing about. Obviously, I know what Pentatonics is. Yeah, I know. They actually
had a Christmas movie that I threw on. It was on Netflix. It wasn't terrible. It's kind of their
bread and butter that they, they sing like Christmas songs now. And look, that works for Mariah Carey,
so why not? Exactly. You know, she's made a billion dollars from one song. She is defrosting right now.
Yeah, she's getting ready. She will be in our ears.
whether you want it or not within a couple of months.
But yeah, this one was nothing for me to be quite frank.
Whatever.
It was almost like an intermission.
I was like, whoa, I know this is.
Whoa, I know this is.
I don't care too much, which is unfair.
And I'm being mean for absolutely no reason.
But if he was better at dancing and had a great showing, I'd love it.
The interesting thing is the audience.
The audience loved it.
audience on their feet and booed the low score because he got a 10 and they weren't happy.
They thought that he was a misjudge.
Which is great, by the way, booed these fucking judges at every, every turn.
And that's what you got to do.
They do frequently.
They will boo them frequently.
That gets me going.
Yep, because, you know, especially when you have three judges and there's two high scores
and then one person throws out like a five and everyone gets pissed off at them.
That was that was Len Goodman's role.
So I think Bruno is stepping into that.
It was time and hell.
Yes, exactly.
Exactly.
That was Len.
Even same, you know, British accent, like the whole deal.
So I thought he did fine.
Again, it was like, you know.
It's tough to do that to like a Lady Gaga song too, because the Lady Gaga song is going to get everybody going.
And if you're going to do okay for it, it's kind of, it's just, it's a big swing and a miss.
But, you know, what are you going to do?
You don't know how much time you're going to get on here.
So if you get a good song, you're going to want to do it.
Well, song and popularity.
Like, that's two ways.
This is a game, right?
It's not all about the dancing.
You can either be the best on the dance floor or you can rally the troops behind you.
Look, I mean, I'd say it's enough 50% dancing, 50% stars.
You know, somebody's going to come out of top.
Now let's get to everybody's crush, Topanga, Danielle Fisiel.
My God.
It was necessarily my crush growing up.
What?
Really?
Yeah.
You know what's actually really funny is I had a huge crush on Julian Huff and from the weirdest possibility.
I had a crush on her from the proactive commercials.
And specifically, there was a mall that we went to.
And I remember seeing her and it was a proactive sign like an ad on the side of like a photo booth or whatever in the middle of the mall.
And I'm like, wow.
10 year old shooter.
Whoa.
Yeah, dude.
Whoa.
Does anybody seen her?
Whoa.
Can we go past that again?
I got to take a look.
Mom, I got to go to the bathroom again.
This is like before the internet really existed.
Honestly, we didn't have the internet on our phone.
So I couldn't just look at a picture of her.
I'd be like, hey, you guys want to go to that mall again?
I got to check out this picture.
I got to check out the directory one more time.
Let's go over there.
Yeah, pretty much.
But, yeah, Danielle Fischel, I don't really know much about it.
I'm not even going to get into like really their backgrounds or what they're doing currently.
Because I know that her and Ben Savage had like a falling out at some point.
her cori i didn't know that um which i don't really know a whole lot about and i don't really
they were filming girl meets world for a little while yeah and i know they have a podcast just
because they're frequently ranked near us on the chart for a while um yeah the girl meets world
a boy meets world it was her uh cori whatever his name is in real life ben savage and uh yeah uh the
sean whatever his name was rider
fuck what's his name rider strong or something he's got something like that yeah so they they all had a
podcast together i don't know if they still do but um i know they were filming that show maybe
something happened there i don't i have no idea i don't keep up with yeah no i think you know what
it was actually i think uh it was they during the whole drake bell type of situation she didn't
really speak up on it got it yeah yeah that's that that that that was my great but anyway
back to her dancing she performed a lot better than I thought she would she just really leaned into it and I thought that she did a great job this was uh I think she got a 12 she did we got two sixes a pretty good score as far as the first week goes um but no real notes from me I was kind of not blown away but I was I was pleasantly surprised posture shoulders all about it that's all about the upper body guys and and she's close you need like a running count
of how many times you're going to talk about shoulder and posture.
Over under 100, and I would take the over.

By the way, in real time, I'm going to give you a suggestion for what we name the episode.
It's dancing with the bros.
DWTB.
DWTB.
And this is how you're going to be able to track it too.
We're just like, we're not going to have clever names.
It's just going to be dancing with the bros week one.
Dancing with the bros week two.
Dancing with the bros voting night.
That's how you guys know what we're doing.
That's going to be great.
And who doesn't want to dance with the bros?
Well, she's also got a leg up because she's with Pasha.
And Pasha is one of the greats of this show.
Everybody loves Pasha.
So she's got a leg up there.
He's also a phenomenal choreographer, phenomenal dancer.
So that's another part of this whole thing.
As you kind of see with who was it.
Who's the new pro?
Ezra.
The guy who's with Jen.
Is that, is that it?
Yeah, that's right.
Jan Rabnick.
Yeah. So I guess he has since created a big social media following from this show.
He's one of the newer pros, but great personality. People love him.
He's getting some shit for his choreography. So that's another layer of this whole thing is you lean heavy, especially early on on the pro.
Like you can kind of see it, especially with Corey Feldman, for example, like he's not really doing a whole lot.
and you're kind of your eyes are usually on the pro watching what they're doing because they're so exceptional with their job so that's something you'll notice with like the weaker dancers is the pros will kind of step in uh as far as choreography goes he's catching some shit online for poor choreography with jenn and as the judges were saying with that one and i think that's the one we're on anyway yeah yeah it is uh too many lifts you're up in the air too much we need to see you on the floor let me see you dancing so lifts i guess take away from so he's catching shit for his
choreography that's another part of this too is like you're putting a lot of your success on
your partner and you want a seasoned vet to get you through so i'm curious how that's going to shake
out i thought jen did fine she also got a 12 uh she danced to salsa dance the salsa uh bad bunny
movie by bad bunny um and uh i this is where the popularity bias comes in because like i don't
like gen affleck from the show so immediately i'm like i'm not rooting for you
Oh, instantly, I thought, what does her husband think about this?
Exactly.
He has already fucking commented because somebody said that.
I bet you he's sitting at home, just pissed off watching all of this.
He commented on it and he could have been a little nicer because the start of his comment was,
obviously it's really tough.
It's a tough situation to be watching this and you don't really have much control over what's going on.
but I do support Jen and all of her endeavors and everything that she wants to do
do and I know that she's going to do great.
It's like, why the fuck did you start your comment like that?
How is it tough to watch?
He's such a loser.
Zach Targary and that fucking dude.
He's such a loser and obviously he's in the crowd.
He's got a Jen shirt on.
He's got the most bleached hair I've ever seen in my life.
What, like, shut up.
Just go away.
And like those, he is one of the biggest.
issues why I just genuinely do not like that show. It's I don't believe anything that they're doing.
I never believe anything that they're doing. Like I think that they're completely fine and I think
they're doing all of this for like some sort of publicity. It just pisses me off to no extent.
So of course that douche. I love that show on whatever. Yeah. Of course that douchebag is going to be
on social media being like, well, you know, it's really tough for me. Like nobody cares.
I know you genuinely are probably sitting at home like this is great. I can't believe that this is
working everybody believes that i'm a douchebag but it's really working guys like shut up i i just i can't
stand i can't stand him i don't really necessarily think it's her fault but i think since we're talking
about dancing with the stars i think she did a pretty good job honestly yeah she did fine yeah she's got
rhythm i think again like the judges were upset at the lifts they wanted to see her footwork more
and things like that so it's the first week the big thing about week one is there are no
eliminations so you're going to see a lot of people trying to figure shit out i thought jenn did well
I think that she's she's got some rhythm.
I think she'll be fine in this competition.
Again, it's strictly, you're coming into this with a bias
because I don't like what you did this season on Slamwa
and your husband's a fucking dweeb.
And, like, I can't, what on earth,
what on earth is problematic about fucking dancing, bro?
What kind of issue could you possibly have?
I mean, there are always some reports of potential.
adultery going on.
Well, that's a different thing.
Like, that was the thing.
I was going to bring that up to you.
It was like, who do you think is going to hook up on this?
And why do you think it's hilarious?
Baldwin.
That's the one that I'm rooting for the most of, look, we never root for these things.
But Jesus, I am rooting for hilarious Baldwin to hook up with Gleb.
The sexual tension was so much sense.
And it would be so fucking funny because Alex, dumbass is going to be there every day.
I said he's going to bring like a different.
child with him every time and then when he runs out of children he's just going to start
bringing his brothers and that he did actually bring Stephen Baldwin was there I saw him pop up
that should be like a disclaimer in the beginning of the episode like by the way we are going
to pan to Stephen Baldwin and you're going to see his face and recoil and I did I saw his face
and I recoiled I don't like seeing a Baldwin on my screen what do you want me to do no the
the level of crazy in that family is next level not I mean we're not even too hilarious yet
And, I mean, it's hard not to comment between her fake accent.
We can just do her.
I want to save Robert for the end anyway.
All right.
We can talk about hilarious.
Yeah, we'll come back to Corey.
So we'll do hilarious and Glev.
And the first thing, and she was great.
She was fantastic.
Against all odds.
She was an incredible dancer.
She was a dancer, I guess.
Yeah, she was.
But, I mean, like, a lot of people say that.
And a lot of times when you're going through and I couldn't stomach the,
God, I could not stomach, the preamble talking about her practicing.
And then, of course, Alex in the screen, like, is he going to all of her fucking practices?
Yes, he is.
I'm going to answer that question for you right now.
He is at every practice, probably because he's an insecurity.
He probably thinks that she's going to actually hook up, Gleb, which we're rooting for, by the way.
Same, by the way.
If that's what comes out of this, this is the best season I've ever seen.
But she did a great job.
And I do think that everybody's like, yeah, you know, I had a background of dancing.
I had a background of dancing.
It's a completely different animal once you get out there in the ballroom floor.
It's so different.
You could be a little tight.
Maybe you haven't danced in a few years.
You don't know what to expect.
Your dancing partner's got a, you know, a different dynamic that you weren't really sure about.
But I think against all odds, placed by me, she did a great job.
Yeah, she was good.
She got a 14, which is the second highest behind Whitney Levitt.
But like, not even just to make jokes.
first thing I noticed, and especially after the dance when they're up on the balcony waiting for
their score, I was like, wow, the, the sexual tension is palpable. They are very close and they
keep touching each other. And this is week one. And one big facet of this show that is fascinating
to me. And I probably has something to do with people having to be vulnerable and step out of
their shells so much to like dance in front of a crowd. There's this big emotional part to it as you go
through this journey and then they're going to do a dance inevitably that represents like a major
trauma in their life and they dance it out and like the audience gets emotional definitely yeah
you always get a trauma dance like no no no they're some of the best dances on this show that
I've seen have been like like for example Robert Irwin more than like to do a dance to honor
his father and you're probably going to get perfectly fine that's perfectly fine I'm good
So, like, hilarious probably going to do a rust dance to honor.
Too soon.
Is it going to be interpretive?
No, I can't, I got to stop.
Please, please double check to make sure there are no bullets in that gun before he goes up.
Can we, like, don't even play around with blanks.
We're not doing anything.
I don't want Gleb to get in trouble.
Don't use props.
Don't use props.
Just use finger guns.
Use your hands.
Yeah.
Oh,
boy.
But back to hilarious.
It's going to be that one time that Alec left that voicemail on his daughter's phone.
Oh, my God,
dude.
Like,
the fact that he's still,
like,
allowed to walk around the streets is kind of nerve-wracking.
Maybe they'll do like an EDM mix to that voicemail that he left on his daughter's phone.
That would be really funny.
But,
you know,
so I think she's going to go far.
And then that's good because we can keep an eye on this blossoming relationship
between her trainer,
her dancer.
But, yeah,
like all of that shit aside great job great dance great job she's got the moves so i think
she's going to go far in this competition the uh the dancer and her definitely came out so let's get
to corey feldman child star of the 80s obviously he was in every major movie back then when he was a kid
uh and you know you get these guys on the show these are it's a nostalgia kick for sure but
he's probably not going to make it more than a couple of weeks
You know, I would imagine that him and Andy are probably on the, on the chopping block for two different reasons.
And he's got a longer life than him, I think.
You think so?
Only because he's more likable.
Yeah, but I don't think that they're going to get much of a fan vote.
And we'll get to Andy's dance pretty much right after this anyway.
When it comes to Corey, like I do think that he's, he's buying into it.
And he's really trying, you know, obviously he does have the backgrounds where he did all of those things, you know, doing Michael Jackson dance moves during a Billy Joel song is very.
funny. I laughed out loud. I thought that was great. And I knew he was going to do it too,
which is even funny. Um, yeah, I mean, his past and everything, all the things that he's gotten
over and the fact that he's even gotten to this point is incredible. Yeah. So I hope that he can
last a little bit longer just so that we can have them on our screen so that he can get a little
confidence. He can build on that. Maybe he will next week. Who knows? Because there were no
eliminations this week, but there's two next week. I would imagine he's gone. He also like the thing
with Corey Feldman,
uh,
obviously sad history,
but also checkered past.
Like he's not the standup guy in a lot of ways.
Sure.
Yeah.
So only to say that as far as like,
he's not going to stand by you.
Vote.
He's not going to stand by you.
Exactly.
Uh,
RIP River Phoenix.
Uh,
but I,
I just don't see him garnering the popular vote.
I think he's gone.
Yeah.
First elimination.
Yeah.
I imagine he's not going to make a pass next week.
But.
it was his it was pretty much what I expected if he did anything like remotely good I would have
been full on blown away like whoa didn't expect that he just this was as expected it was just stiff
you know but look he's getting out there and he's having fun that's all yeah and that's what's all you
can ask so let's get to Lauren Jaraguay who uh her partner's brandon and they tango to yes
and by Ariana Grande to a 13 total score of seven and a six which is really solid what group was
this what group is she in i can't i can't
Lauren she is from
um i don't want to look it off
5th harmony fifth harmony that's what it was i knew it was
one of those making the bands
yeah she's in fifth harmony uh yeah that show
i need you to go to Harlem
get me a set of left hand of golf clubs
um yeah i you know obviously
naked the band has a bad
taste now given who
was behind it, but
I thought she was exceptional.
Yeah, I really, yeah, that's Chappelle's show.
I thought she did great.
I was, I was impressed with her dance.
I'm excited to see where she goes.
She's one of my favorites.
I don't know why.
I don't really know a lot about her, but for some reason,
I was like, I like her.
Zero, but I feel that.
I genuinely feel that.
I didn't really know what to expect from her.
You know, a lot of people who used to be in Ben,
or used to make music, music videos along those lines.
You're not really sure what to expect.
Are they a little rusty?
I thought she did a great job.
I thought she was prepared, which is all you can ask for in the first week.
Yep.
Yep.
I think she's got a good chance to go deep into this competition.
And that takes us to Lifetime, funny man, Andy Richter.
And obviously, most people know who he is, either from TV, the...
Everybody knows he's a quintuplet.
And you're not getting that reference?
Nope.
No.
All right.
No, that was all that.
Um, okay, I haven't seen that yeah, far too long, but I watch it all the time.
It's a great show.
It's my night show. It's my CP time show. My CP type show.
I thought he did exactly what he was, what I thought he was going to do.
Exactly what he was going to do. He's going to be goofy up there. He's going to try to have as much fun as possible. That's his personality. He knows that he's not that good of a dancer. So he's going to lean into the fact that he's not that good of a dancer. And I think that that's going to work honestly for a couple of weeks here. You might be right. Maybe he's not on the shopping block. I do. I
don't really know because i am looking through the scores right now who could potentially go we know
cori's probably going to go i think maybe scott hoeing might go i don't know the audience that's
where the audience comes in the audience reaction i was taken aback they really liked them so like that's
that's where it's hard to say i would say if it was up to me my two going home would be corey feldman
and scott hoeing yeah but not for any reason in particular with scott hoeing like if he sticks
around. I'm cool with it. I don't have anything against him or pentatonic, but I can see those
two going home. I mean, if Andy gets by, like Andy and Corey are at the bottom. Understandably so.
Andy Mike squeaked by for a week or two because he's Andy Richter. Like, he's got a shot.
If not, it's more than likely going to be those two going home, but I could see Andy slipping through
with popularity vote. So we'll wait and see with that one. We already did hilarious.
let's finish it off with, admittedly, from the judges, the best dance of the night.
And here's where my gripe comes in once we get to it.
Robert Irwin.
This first dance ever, apparently.
This was incredible.
This was an unbelievable dance.
I thought he did so well.
He was the only one of the night, I feel like, that I was locking in on his moves,
locking in on where his feet were, his posture, everything, where his shoulders were,
as you like to say, all of those things were really standing up to me where I'm like,
this is fucking incredible.
I didn't expect this.
Now, the leap over her.
His sister did win, what, 15 years ago, 14 years ago or whatever they said?
I forget how long ago.
I don't know if it was that one.
I was been 10 and 15 years.
And like he was in the crowd as a kid at that one.
And that's when my brain, my tinfoil hat started to go.
And I was like, hmm, because he says like, yeah, you know, like I always wanted to be on the shot after she was on it.
So like, I'm so excited to get out here.
And I was like, have you been practicing since you were a kid just in case you were on the show?
was because there's another clip that's been going around of him actually sitting at the broadcast
booth talking and doing an interview about how he would love to win someday. So I wouldn't be surprised
just saying. I mean, the background's just unbelievable. This is this is one that I really locked into
all the preamble. He, when he got to Hollywood, there was like videos of him going and visiting his
father's star on the Hollywood Walk of Stars. So he's got a lot going for him. There's a lot of
emotion mixed up in this he is destined for the finals without a doubt yeah there's yeah after that
dance and after all of the things that are going on there's no doubt in my mind that he's going to
make it super far and it was a great dance it was a phenomenal dance the personalities there he's an
extraordinarily likable person like you can't you just say with his dad yeah i loved with a
passion steve irwin and crocodile hunter when i was a kid this is no shit i wanted to be a herpetologist
which is the study of reptiles
because I was so into crocodile hunter
that when I was in the Poconos I would go and catch
snakes. It doesn't sound like that. No, it's a terrible
name. It's really a bad name.
Wow. It sounds like something
else. Yeah, nope. I think
everyone knows. We all get it. We all know.
But that is the, like, someone who studies reptiles.
And I would legit, when I would go up to the
poke and I was trying to catch snakes and water snakes
are not poisonous, but when they bite, they hurt
like shit. And I would catch water snakes
pretending I was Stever when I'd grab them by the tail.
so when Robert Irwin came out and he leapt over his partner with his feet straight out to the side
I was like there's no fucking way you've never danced before one two I'm all in limber
yeah you gotta stay nimble and he's fucking wrestles crocodiles of course he's limber and
he's sturdy too I thought he was going to be a little skinny he's fucking like no he's built
he's an athlete under that uh that that khaki tuxedo uh yeah just just a phenomenal is that the
Aussie tucks. You got the Canadian touch.
Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. The Aussie tucks is khaki on khaki.
Absolutely. And I think Steve Irwin started that one.
But, but yeah.
Well, it's khaki shorts, khaki shirt.
Fantastic. Really enjoyable night of watching some, uh, some dance moves.
Can't guarantee that I'm always going to be locked into the commentary, but I will always
be locked into the dance moves. I'll tell you that much.
They're really good. But here's my gripe. Okay. Here's where it happens.
Because we get to Robert Irwin, who blows all of us away.
right absolutely 10 out of 10 across the board now i've seen this in the past with the first
dances they never ever give you like the high high scores because it's the first week
they want you to improve so no matter how well you do they're going to give you sixes
sevens and maybe an eight you're never going to get a nine week one you cannot
logically say that's the best first dance i've ever seen and then he gets the same score as
Whitney. That doesn't make any sense.
I'm going to conspiracy theory time.
Okay.
When Whitney got her grades, when she got her scores, it was a 14.
They, it was a 14, but Julianne said you got a 15 and I'm like, oh, Julianne misspoke.
That's crazy.
We revisited that.
Apparently Bruto had written down and eight and gave that to the judges and then put up a seven.
Hulu show, Secret Lives.
We've already got shenan.
We decided we've got.
We've got Whitney who looks great.
By the way, I'm not taking away from her dance here.
She looked great.
She looked a lot better than Jen did.
We got to have a Secret Lives wife going through, making it all the way so that we can talk about this show because it's on Hulu and everybody's going to watch it because everybody's watching ABC.
And Tim Foil hat.
I don't know.
Lines on.
Yeah.
She should have gotten a 14.
If she got a 14 and Robert walked away with a 15, I would have been okay.
I would have been completely fine.
Having them tie is crazy.
It's wild.
You cannot say Derek Huff, best dance you've ever seen, and then he gets a 15.
It doesn't make any damn sense because everybody watching, everybody watching was ready to give him the mirror ball trophy.
That was ridiculously good.
And then you gave him the same score as somebody else despite saying that it was the best you've ever seen.
That's stupid.
Give him a nine if that's the case.
But all in all, when you texted me, because I've always.
always like this show and shooters never dove in before so i'm glad that you finally took the
plunge because you like literally i think it was in the morning you texted me i got a crazy
idea or something like that's like do you want to do like a silly goofy recap with the stars and i was
like are you fucking serious like absolutely i'd love to do that i thought so and this is actually kind of
funny it was yesterday morning thursday morning sitting in the office had a little coffee texted you that
expected like a you know pleasant response like hell yeah let's do it all i saw was are you
fucking kidding me and i'm like is he really going to give me shit and be like i told you weeks ago
that we should do this are you del taking credit for this but you didn't go that way and i'll give
you credit because you didn't you were excited to do it which are you fucking kidding me i would
absolutely love to do that yeah absolutely um but uh before we get to our questions let's draft
let's do a draft okay uh you already did say who we imagine
I do five and five and then leave the remainder in case you have to like pluck somebody from obscurity.
There's 14 total.
So that leaves four bench players.
I say we leave room.
Yeah, but is there really 14 bench players?
Should we do four and four?
Let's do four and four and then we'll leave it, leave that for the bench as we usually do for the bachelor, bachelorette.
So.
Rock Ramis did there's one one shot.
okay all right i always lose this rock rock pay hold i don't know what the timing is i know okay just put
it down under your camera and when i say go we're just going to lift it up like that okay okay
yeah one two three go fuck i always lose you always lose you always lose these i'm so bad at
i know i can't ever win rock paper scissors all right well i'm going first now i'm taking
Robert Irwin.
Okay.
Well, then I got to go with
Hilaria Baldwin.
That's embarrassing.
I don't feel great,
which is a great dancer.
And I'm going to go with
Whitney Levitt.
Or no, you get the next one.
Alex,
you're all.
All right.
I'm going to go Whitney Levitt.
Okay.
You're up again.
And I'm going to go Dylan Ephraim.
Fuck.
That's the problem
is we think too much alike for,
like we both this is what happens in fantasy drafts we both want to draft the same people my team is so
fucking hot you got who do you got dylan uh robert and whitney and i've got hilaria and
alex earl okay okay um i'm gonna go with go with my girl lauren yeah okay and you got one more
finish it off all right i got to go for not a hail mary but an unexpected
Let me go with, I'm going to go with the athleticism.
I'm going to take Jordan Childs.
I'm going to lean on the athleticism that she's going to get better at dancing.
I can get behind that.
I'm going to take Elaine Hendricks.
Okay.
I think that's good.
So let's run through him.
You've got Elaine Hendricks, Robert Irwin, Dylan, Efron, and Whitney Levitt.
And I have Jordan Childs, Lauren Jaragway, Hilaria Baldwin,
and, of course, I didn't even remember my last one.
Come up.
Hello, then.
Did you say Jordan Childs?
I wasn't listening.
Yeah, I did.
Jordan, Charles, Hilaria Baldwin, Lauren, and Alex Earl.
All right.
I like my team.
Yours is much more like clear cut.
Like these are contenders.
Might have a couple of, uh, of maybes.
But, you know, who thought I'd be rooting for Hilaria Baldwin?
Wow.
her and her fake accent rooting for something with that but not rooting for her to win her and glib
let's see let's see if we have any questions we did put these questions up this morning and
they've only been up her a little bit and we don't even know if you guys are watching this but
you're going to listen to us that's for sure uh this is fun first up here from dan j falconer
did you enjoy robert's butt jiggle be honest yeah fuck you absolutely absolutely you think we wouldn't
admit that of course we did i i also enjoyed when dylan effron was standing on the
judge's panel and shook his
ass right in Derek's face.
And I also enjoyed his deep V.
All of it.
Yeah.
What are you talking about?
You know us.
Come on.
Absolutely.
Uh, from wash caps fan.
Why is this still in the air or on the air with B and C level stars?
Because we're watching it.
You want to take this one away?
Because people watch it.
What do you mean?
Because people watch it.
Check the ratings.
This is one of the biggest shows on TV.
incredible, from Zoe Cudla-Polet.
Should trained dancers slash gymnasts be allowed to compete with normal celebs?
Yeah, I think it seems like a mainstay for the show.
It's part of it.
And they don't always win, by the way.
That's the big thing.
Yeah.
And that's why I think you keep running them out there because it's exciting.
A bachelor won last year.
Joey won last year.
So like it's, you know, they don't always win.
I'm sure they probably win a good amount, but they do.
But it's also like it's exciting when you get down to the finals and there's an Olympic
gold medalist up against a real.
reality TV star or, you know, an actor from Hollywood and the actor or the B-List celebrity that
you remember from 20 years ago all of a sudden wins the mirror ball.
You're like, whoa, you just be like Olympic gold medals.
In a weird way, and usually we do like criticize fan voting when it comes to shows like this,
the fan voting kind of evens that out.
Like the fan voting, they might not be voting for the Olympic gymnast or the previous
professional dancer.
They're going to vote for their favorite reality stars or their favorite influencers or whatever.
it might be so it does tend to even that out yeah um let's see here we've got one more in here
from her crown now your final top three let's uh let's try to pick this together i do think
at least for my top three robert i think i think it's going to be robert um i could see i don't
know if hilaria is going to get the fan i think it's robert whitney and the third one's kind
of a question mark i don't know if if hilaria is going to be able to maintain
this for months like that's kind of the question mark and that's the other part is like
somebody's going to rise who actually didn't get voted maybe just right nostalgia because
that's the age group right now I feel like for the majority of people that watch this remember
her miss DePanga so she might get enough and she looked good enough that she could sneak her way
in top three they'll start getting better and better I think the number three is hard to say
I think the clear cut top two right now are definitely Robert Irwin number one witness
a very close number two, and that'll probably alternate week to week.
Yeah.
And we're going to wait, you know, I would say the third could be either, it could be Daniel
official, it could be one of the dudes that, like, out of nowhere, I don't know.
Like, I think that one's still kind of up for grabs.
But I will say the top two for sure are Robert and then Whitney is number two.
Yeah.
So I'm excited, though.
It's a good cast.
Like, it's a, it's a cast that I know.
know for the most part and like that always makes it more fun uh and as always i know that we
cut through a lot of people skip through the commentary which is totally fine it makes the episode
about 30 minutes instead of an hour and 30 minutes but it is always fun to occasionally check in
with you know alfonso rubio you know fucking carlton out there who was a competitor at one point
and he also makes it look like a bit but i think there's he takes it personally when people say
like that's the best first answer ever sees like hey now
I'm like, you really, you really are mad that he really.
Yeah.
But yeah, it's kind of funny too because we're going to be doing this week to week.
The episode lengths are going to vary.
But we did say, I even almost put it up there, we're going to do a little mini recap.
We're just going to go through the dances.
We're now over an hour.
So this is what you get with us.
We just start talking about something we enjoy an hour later.
We're finally finished.
We're bad at short episodes.
Yeah.
Something that we enjoy.
If you give us an OC, we could get through that.
20 minutes if we wanted to, this, uh, when we start to enjoy stuff, you're going to get longer
rep. So hopefully you're watching along with us. Uh, we'll try to make it. I'm sure there's ways
we can make this interactive, which will be fun, like maybe put up polls and do prop bets with
you guys on who's going to move forward. But, uh, yeah, yeah, I'm excited to cover it this season. It's
something different, something new, uh, a cast that we are very familiar with from Bravo and
Hulu reality shows. So that's also a lot of fun. And then the other people that aren't on those
are people that we grew up watching on TV or in movies.
So it's great.
And, you know,
listening to interviews with fake accents,
married to a lunatic.
Yeah.
Who's on my team?
Scheduling,
yeah,
seriously.
Scheduling-wise,
it airs Tuesday.
So we'll probably be recording these on Wednesday.
It just depends on the premieres of the,
we got a few shows coming out premiere-wise.
But more than like.
We'll get them to you week-to-week for sure.
Yes.
We'll get them out.
But I'm excited to cover it.
And, yeah, we'll see next week is the second dance and the first elimination.
And I don't know when you get further into the season, it's two episodes a week.
You get the dance and then you get the elimination episode.
I don't know if they do that as early.
We're going to find out next week.
It's like Tuesday, then Thursday, I believe.
So if that's the case, these will drop at the end of the week and we'll just lump it all into one.
Yeah, for sure.
But excited to get into it.
I'm excited to see who wins that.
Len Goodman Mirror Ball, R-I-P-Lenn.
Fares up.
But that's all I got.
You got anything else?
Nope.
Well, welcome to the ballroom.
Shooter.
That's our show.
Bro's got to go.
Are you looking for a movie review show where the critic is at the top of his or her game,
meticulously breaking down and explaining exactly why a film does or does not work?
Well, good luck with the search.
Because we're having fun here on Adam does movies.
I talk to you like we just got done seeing a movie together, giving you the pros and cons.
I'm digging in the trenches, in the mud and muck, on streaming services, telling you which films are worth your time.
Each and every week, I hit the big blockbusters, I cover the streamers, and I even toss in some movie news for fun.
Because this show, as Adam does movies.
I'm obviously Adam, I probably should have led with that.
But perhaps I have led you to check out the show on Spotify, on Apple Podcasts, on YouTube.
And hopefully, we can do movies together.
Hooh-ho-ho-ho-ho-hot.
