You know what's better than the one big thing?
Two big things.
Exactly.

This is big.

Conditions and exclusions apply.
We took a one-week hiatus, but that doesn't mean we didn't watch it.
So don't worry.
We're going to touch on TikTok night as well as Disney Night,
probably more in depth than Disney Night.
But we're going to keep us up to speed, everybody.
Don't worry.
Yeah, let's be brutally honest here.
What's more interesting to you?
TikTok Night or Disney Night?
Disney Night for multiple reasons.
Yeah, we all know the answer to that one.
No, it was rhetorical.
Okay, you're asking them.
I'm not asking anybody.
I was, yeah, whatever.
Yeah, we'll break it down later.
Go birds.
I got to have me my bros and shows.
Bros and shows.
Brows and shows.
I got to have me my Brows and shows.
Good morning, everybody.
Welcome back to another episode of Bros. and Shows.
I'm your co-host, Steele Russell,
joined as always by the one and only dancing with my goots.
What's up, dude?
Love that.
That really gets me going.
What a pleasure this show is.
Just a nice, this is like the definition of easy watch.
hour and like 40 minutes long or whatever it is, but you can just put it on, walk away during
the interim, come back, watch all the dances. It's just a nice show to watch. Well, the funny
thing is if you stream it as we do, you can get through an episode in about 25 minutes. I watch
the people I care about. You know, I'll watch their preamble and like the post. But for the people
I like the Hilaria Baldwin's of the world, like skip, skip, skip. I just like to watch briefly to
see what the sexual tension is between
her and Gleb. I was going to say that
and I even kind of lost its luster
after the first two weeks. Like by the end of
week two, I was just kind of over it.
I don't really care anymore. I know
it's getting sexual in there. That's
enough for me. I don't really need to watch it
actually happen. I did
notice. You're not a boyer. No.
What was that? You're not a
boyer. Boyer.
Are you fucking French?
I've always said
Boyer.
Voire.
I think that's how it's pronounced.
Voyeur.
You do this sometimes.
I end up being right.
And then when I call you out with it, here's the funny thing.
When shooter...
What's that French cheese?
Starts with a G.
Groier.
Yeah, so voyeur.
They're spelled similarly.
So that makes more sense.
Actually, G-R-U-Y-E-R-E-R-E.
Yeah.
With a little tild, I believe, somewhere in there.
But when you do this, and then I end up,
being right and then I challenge you I'm like see I told you you just always go yeah whatever like
you never care so like it's a losing battle no matter what like I've done this my whole life with you
I do that a lot though and like admittedly so I do that all the time and yes I really don't give a shit
it's just funny I know it to me and then later I don't care but you'll do your due diligence
and be like look look at this out somebody said that I was right and it's like well that person's
wrong too and then I'll just look forward with my life like yeah whatever or you play the like
what is I don't remember and then that pisses me off even more uh
A lifetime of gas lighting with the Goots
Really grinds your ears
Podcasts. We could really just have a spit off
With that one.
Yeah, no thanks.
That being said, I've gotten to the point now
where you're kind of going to see the same thing
on those interim scenes like every week.
And yeah, I get, especially when they go to the ballroom
and they've kind of moved away from that,
especially at the Disney episode,
they just kind of sit at the Disneyland and they're like,
here you go.
You know why?
Well, yeah, obviously.
It's to promote Toronto.
aries with uh jared leno that's why amongst other that the whole thing they're like i can't believe
we're here at disneyland resort for the 70th anniversary of disneyland isn't that crazy to be here at
disneyland every single one you know what we had to do to get ready for this dance Disneyland's
it's like you oh my god we get it we understand i was actually um when they did the troop
came out and did the the dance to tron i thought they were going to have one of the contestants do
a dance to Trond and like, oh, come on.
Who's fucking pushing this? Who got pushed
to do this with this show
or this movie or whatever? And thankfully
it was just the troupe. So like I was okay with it.
And the music from Tron is always great.
But promoting that movie
with that dickhead, I, you know,
whatever. I have
expected Jared Letto to pull off a mask
and be out there. Like that would be a Jared Leto
move because he's so look at me
like wants to be in the spotlight that I wouldn't
be shocked if he strolled out
onto the dance floor and just
he's probably in the DMs of every dancer
from like 18 to 20 years old
yeah and sending them creepy weird
shit in boxes
like that's when
I was treated to be the Joker
of course I was doing stuff like that's like now you're just
fucking creep yeah that's when
I like I used to be able to put up
with him because I liked his early shit like Requiem
for a dream is outstanding
like there's a few of his earlier works
that he was a
yes like he's done some amazing things
But when he got to his Joker era, that's when I turned.
I was like, you're trying to be Heath Ledger.
And nobody can be Heath Ledger.
That was a one-of-a-kind performance.
He's doing that and he's also using that as an excuse because it's well documented that
when you train to be the Joker, you have a little bit of a psychological breakdown.
So I don't believe that he had a psychological breakdown.
He didn't.
He wanted one and he didn't.
He definitely wanted one.
That's true.
And then he didn't get one, but he saw an opportunity.
I could just do whatever outlandish shit that I want
and then say, yeah, I'm a little fucked up
from playing the Joker.
You were in the movie for like four minutes.
Come on.
All right.
Let's get off a Jared Lotto.
I don't want to talk about this.
You don't want to talk about him setting sex toys to his co-stars?
Weirdo.
But that being said, Disney Night was unbelievable,
but we do need to touch on TikTok night
because we did not cover TikTok night.
We've got too much shit going on.
All the shows came back at the exact same time.
Steele and I are rattled.
frazzled, and we also have sports going on that are depressing us
and sometimes making us happy, but mostly depressing us.
Last night made us happy, but still the first half of the game was depressing,
and then it got happy, and then it got scary, then it got happy again,
as is the life of a Philly sports fan.
But here's how we're going to break it out.
I'm going to give you, like, three of my favorites from TikTok night,
and then we'll talk about like our least favorites slash who gets sent home.
So I thought that Jordan Childs is taking just enormous steps.
Leaps and bounds, yeah.
Yes, not, you know, no pun intended.
and she's a gymnast, but she's really starting.
Right, but that's what no pun intended means.
Are we going to do this all that?
No, but I, I know.
I intended the pun.
I understand that because that's the, that's the,
wait, do you think that people say no pun intended when they really intended it?
It's both.
It's both.
Fuck you.
I am not doing this.
Literally not.
It's literally I didn't intend to make that pun.
What is wrong with you?
It's both.
It's both.
People in jest will say, ha, ha, no pun intended.
although they intended the pun okay but those people are assholes i do that you're an asshole case
and point anyway uh yeah uh i thought she was leaps and bounds uh better than she was the week prior
and the week before that which is expected she's a world class athlete so she's going to figure this
shit out and it's similar to gymnastics in you know your body form and everything like that yeah
she got the highest score i believe with a 24 her and probably did she score higher yeah she just got higher
than Whitney.
But that's, she got 23, yeah.
Yeah, she got a 22.
Whitney did last week.
Yeah.
I'm confusing it with this week then.
Okay.
That makes sense then.
Hers is great too, though.
Hers was great.
I think the problem with TikTok night was just like, there's, there's already people,
TikTok stars, you know, the Mormon wives were on TikTok so much.
They're not that cool of me.
The music is just not that great.
So it's just played out.
I've heard it.
It's incredibly played out.
That's very true.
true. But dancing wise when I'm watching it, I'm like, I don't know. Yeah, you can kind of do any
dance to any song at this point. And I'd be like, wow, that's pretty cool. TikTok night was just
kind of underwhelming. And I understand why they did it, obviously. But that being said,
I would say, yeah, Jordan took a huge step. But again, she's so athletic. And this is what we were
talking about the first week. Once she just figures out to flow instead of like being very rigid
in her posture and like pose for everything, she's going to be fine.
because she's so athletic, she can do literally everything.
And I like the way that they're going with it.
And maybe, you know, it's just her pro dancer that's kind of leading her this way.
They're not leaning into, oh, you're a gymnast.
Let's just do a bunch of flips and shit.
It's like, no, at some point it's going to lose its luster.
At some point, we're going to move past it and be like, yeah, we know she's athletic.
Can she dance?
So now we're watching her and she's dancing really well.
So I'm very, very happy with the progress that she's made.
I think she killed it.
I think Alex is starting to.
step up a little bit more, Alex Earl. She's doing a great job. Whitney is amazing. Professional
dancer. She did major in ballroom dancing, but you could say the same about a couple
different people that had dancing in their life that started off as professional dancers. Like,
yeah, maybe it's like riding a bike. But Whitney seems to be like fine-tuned. She knows exactly
what she does. She's very well, well-polished, if that makes any sense. She just understands where
to be at all times and the movements make
the most sense. So it's almost like watching
two professional dancers when her
co-star go up. I agree.
And I mean, we have to comment on the fact
that at the end of the episode, you're
supposed to play sad because
somebody gets sent home. And it was
like a bit of a controversy, not like
a serious one, but she was trying to celebrate
on the side. She was in the frame.
And Danielle Fischel was like,
hey, and like, stop it. We're sad.
I really love Danielle. And obviously, she's fighting
through injury. I think it's really funny because she has a hammy, right? Yeah, she's torn
hand. Her issue is. Yeah. You can see and it's really funny, and I'm sure this resonates
with you, years and years of watching sports and, you know, one of our favorite athletes comes
back, maybe a wide receiver comes back or a shooting guard. You're just staring at their knee
and you're like, oh, that looks all right. It's a little too straight. You're not moving. The movement's
not great. I was doing that with Danielle. And I'm like, oh, that's, it's training. It's years and
years of watching football and basketball and baseball.
You're like,
she doesn't trust it yet.
She doesn't trust it yet.
She's still coming back.
Still doing really well.
And it's really funny in both of these dances,
TikTok and at Disney,
the way that she moves,
you can see left knee looks completely fine.
She just kind of flails out there.
The right knee just kind of skirt,
but she does a really good job of overcoming it.
And you can't really tell how much of a hindrance it is.
So she's looking pretty good out there.
And you can't put a score on grit.
You know,
you can't teach grit.
You really can't teach grit.
And we fucking love grit.
So I'm rooting for,
Topanga and Pasha is like probably one of my favorite
pros so like that's a good duo.
Plus Mr. Feeney's coming back next week.
Is he?
Dude,
I just,
he's going to be in the crowd.
Yesterday I just watched it pops up every now and then it's the last
episode of the last episode or the last scene of the last episode where they're saying
goodbye to Feeney and then he says like class dismissed you know.
Yep.
It still gets me.
It still gets me every time.
I'll probably end up watching like a Halloween episode from Boy Mates World.
I always forget about that.
It's such a good show.
I like watching the Halloween episodes from those shows.
Yeah, I do too, but it's just top to bottom.
That is, it's great TV.
I've never dove into Girl Meets World.
I told you we're frequently charted next to or near their podcast, like Topanga.
I think Sean's on.
I don't know if Corey's still on it.
But anyway, we're podcast neighbors.
Yeah, we're pod neighbors.
But she is making progress.
She's getting better.
She's fighting through an injury, which we love to see.
She's not letting it slower down.
You're correct about Alex.
She's really starting to find herself.
She looks, as you said,
about Whitney she looks very polished
and I would say those two are probably
the clear cut top two
Robert's good
Robert's good
but from the week one
we haven't seen that same level
of holy shit out of him
so he's gonna go far
because he's already a fan favorite
which is understandable
he's a handsome Aussie
and I just had to dance a little bit
versus crocodiles
so what's not the like
but he definitely kind of plateaued for me
and I need to see a week
And even this week, it was fine with Disney Night.
But I need to see him take another leap forward to stay with.
I want to see him with that top pack.
And he's kind of falling down a little bit.
He's definitely falling down.
And for TikTok night, which was interesting, maybe most improved from a week to
week status was Scott Hoying.
He crushed it last week in TikTok night.
And this week, you know, he gets a little bit more into the, what was it,
high school musical, which was he was in.
So, yeah, obviously you get like a little bit more of a bonus point because you're doing something from your past.
And that's always fun.
But his dance last week, I didn't know he had it in him.
He crushed it.
I was very surprised.
And I expected him to like, oh, my God, look at this huge step that he just took.
And then Disney kind of like went back to the same right back.
Oh, I disagree.
Well, we'll wait for the Disney episode to get into that.
But for TikTok night, he crushed it.
I'm like, okay.
I take everything bad back that I said about him.
I thought he was boring.
I thought that he was stale and I didn't really care that much.
But TikTok night he crushed.
I think it was a twofer for me because watching him dance obviously got a lot better,
started to get comfortable.
And that's what Bruno says.
And like the whole judge panel pretty much resonates.
It's like and it's cool to,
I like watching his in between scenes now because I was the same.
I was like, this dude is kind of boring, whatever.
But I think you've watched him like blossom out of this shell and he's getting more
comfortable not only on the floor but talking to the camera and kind of relating to people so like
as he's going through his story i'm like wow it's almost like we watched that come out in your
dance like watching you just kind of like say hey here i am and you know what we're damn glad you're
here scott because i was blown away last week and the confidence that's funny you said this week
you went back i thought that it's shown through this week so those are my top i agree scott was
very impressive, Jordan amazing, Whitney amazing. Danielle, love that grit. That takes me to Lauren.
I was actually, I was disappointed. I was like, oh, no, what happened? Because she's had this,
I think they said it best, this ethereal glow about her in all of her dances. And seeing it kind of,
it wasn't bad. I'm not saying it was bad by any means. It was just not, I think she set the bar so high
that seeing her not reach that again,
I was like, oh, what happened?
Yeah, that's the danger that you run into.
Now, I mean, we'll talk about Andy in a second,
but when you take a step or you start off pretty strong,
and I thought she started off really strong,
I thought she looked comfortable pretty much from episode one.
She was head and shoulders above other people
who were still figuring it out,
still very rigid, still not really cutting loose.
She seemed like she was a seasoned vet.
She knew exactly what she was doing.
doing she was working the camera she was hitting all the right moves but once you get to a point
where you're doing that doing that very consistently but not actually really making any progress
and you have a week like she had for tictock night where she didn't show up and she had a couple
of that was a little slow coming out of that turn or whatever it may have been then it's
very apparent you know what i mean like when you're that consistent but then you have a little bit
of an off night and you get the same score as andy gets it's almost like what the fuck happens
like did you really regress that much or did you just have it off night and on this show you can't
really have an off night because those voters are out there voting for their favorites if you don't impress
them you're not getting any votes yeah that being said and we can spoil it because we're on to
the next week already she did not deserve to go home she had an off week the fact that she got
voted out i was like oh that's that's brutal like yeah i think andy obviously if he lasts past
this next week it's it's turning into a joke then we need to be a
like, all right, that's not fair to the rest of the, like, I think getting past,
was the perfect night for him to go back.
I think it was enough three weeks in, like, okay, we understand, like, you had a really
great run.
You were incredibly entertaining and funny, but it's time to, like, break down and actually
be a little serious about this.
And I think now, you know, the jokes have run their course at this point.
So it's like, all right, we can send Andy home.
So I agree with you.
If he, if he last passed next week, which what is their, um,
dedicating it's dedication night oh man this is that i cry yeah so if he lasts past that
then something's going on and he's getting way too many fan votes because the scores he's pretty
much sixes across the board since week one every week i think that he deserved to go through tip
tif talk night only because who gets sent home at disney night i'm like all right after she's gone
now and he needs to go so like that was kind of my barometer jokes have run their course right
There is just something sweet about watching him dance and how much he cares.
So, like, I get why he got through.
His daughter was in the crowd and she was wearing the Ratatoui thing.
It was so cute.
She looked so cute.
And we'll get right back to the rest of our episode.
But first, a few words from our new friends over at Uncommon Goods.

From the darkest corners of our imagination
comes a game show that's more ridiculous than terrifying.
Welcome to Tickled to Death.
I'm your host, Roz Hernandez,
and I'll be guiding guests through the creepy questions and chaotic games,
all to win the ultimate title of Horror Movie Champion.
Listen to Tickled to Death, wherever you get your podcasts,
and hit Follow
unless you want the show to follow you.
It's Halloween month.
Yes, that's a thing.
And on the Vulgar History podcast,
it's also Mary Shelley's season.
Mary Shelley wrote Frankenstein,
the book, when she was a teen mom
on the run with her boyfriend, her sister.
Lord Byron was also there for some reason.
And this month, on Vulgar History,
we're taking a deep dive into her life and world
to figure out.
Was Mary Shelley the ultimate goth icon?
Listen to Vulgar Hiburon.
history wherever you get podcasts but let's get to uh to disney night because
Lauren unfortunately gets sent home unfairly I do believe I think she deserved another week
I think you know we watched Robert Irwin have an off week after his big opening dance
and we said the same thing it's like okay well let's bounce back but that was a bad week
I think she deserved the same grace didn't get it it's unfortunate but we get to Disney night
doesn't have the fan vote, I guess.
That's probably the thing that hurt the most.
And, like, I don't think that it's fair either.
I understand she's being graded on a different scale than the Richter scale.
Yeah.
You can't give her the same scores, Andy Richter.
That's fucking ridiculous.
Was that pun intended?
Yeah, I've been making that pun.
Okay.
But I would have said, now I have to verify.
I have to, like, come back to ask you.
No, but that's one of them I would have said, like, no pun intended.
Yuck, yuck, yuck.
You get it?
The problem is that you also.
also say yuck yuck yuck like you're supposed to just kind of like i never say yuck i don't say yuck yuck
i'm not that's the same thing synonyms okay let's get to disney night which i love disney night
they've done it before i think they like to it every year um i think they do and it's it's by
far my favorite and i will say this before we get like fully into disney night
watching some of the the throwbacks and i know like princess and the
frog came out. I think we're a little bit older, but even so, like, I love that one.
It's set in New Orleans, and I love the vibe of that movie. But it made me flashback.
And it may, I know Pixar movies rock and like the current, uh, animated movies are pretty
solid for the most part. Oh, yeah. But this just reminded me of like there was nothing like when
we were, you know, eight, nine, ten. And it's like the weekend, you go to blockbuster, you get some
popcorn, you get one VHS tape. Then it's like a different color. Sometimes you got the blue.
Disney tape, you know, and you slide that bitch in and you hear it, and it comes on, you see that
opening scene.
And our movies were so much better collectively, just as a whole, than what they have to watch today.
Like, those were iconic.
Like, when I watched the Robin Williams one, holy shit, like took me back to Aladdin and watching
that my first time.
I will never get that back.
That's gone forever.
That makes me so sad.
Kids will never know.
Who knew that a Dancing with the Stars episode was going to result in you getting on a soapbox
and telling everybody that the current media, the current entertainment center, it's all shit.
You guys had nothing compared to what we have.
Think about it.
I'm not wrong.
I agree with you, but I, you know, I didn't expect you to go on your little soliloquy if you will.
It just gave me like this nostalgia kick of like remembering those nights when you, or even a Disney
channel original movie.
You get that song in the beginning.
you're like, holy shit, what's coming on?
I will agree with that.
Well, that's the funny thing when we get to a high school musical.
I mean, we were at high school when high school musical came out.
So we could not be bothered.
Oh, could you?
Could you not?
Because my sister was, like, seven.
Yeah, Riley was.
You were bothered, actually.
I knew every single song and line from high school.
Brooks and I, my older brother, could quote back and forth,
the entire start to finish of high school musical.
I guess that's impressive.
I don't know what that is, but that's...
I don't know what that is.
Yeah, that was my life.
We're serving.
Here's the best part about that movie, okay?
So, the setup is, I like that.
I like, look, I liked it the first 10 times I watched it after that, it got annoying.
But my favorite part is like this basketball star, you know,
gets up to sing karaoke on like a cruise, and that's where Vanessa Hudgens is.
And for the, he starts singing and he has this realization.
So for his entire life up until he's 15 years old, he's never sang.
And finally he gets on stage and sings.
And you watch his face, he goes, oh my God, I'm fucking amazing at this.
I'm such a good singer.
And I haven't realized it until this moment.
That's the best part of that movie.
I think it's really, I've never actually seen it.
And the, uh, the references that I get from it.
are all from a South Park episode
where they make fun of it.
They're pretty close though.
Like I've seen that one obviously.
Yeah, it's so funny.
But anyway,
then you get the second one where they do like the stop thing
with like the basketballs.
It's a whole thing.
But speaking of high school musical,
let's talk about Dylan Efron.
Because wow, I loved this.
I love the Fox Trot.
He was high stepping across the floor.
Now I'm looking at his glides
because they told me to look at the glides that he does.
So now I'm like, wow, look at that.
He does glide.
you know he can quick step really well
was it a Derek or
Bruno that called him the quick step king
I think it was Derek Derek
Derek called him he was really good
he looked very comfortable in this setting
now obviously if you're going to win dancing at the stars
you got to be good at everything else but
when he does a quick step he looks great
he's got some good strides he's working on the things
which I think the the judges
tend to give you a slightly higher score
if you're clearly working on something
that they told you last week needed work
like if they come back and they're like oh you had to do this like you're coming out of your turns a little rigid or you're not leading with your body you're leading with your hands and then you see the next time they're like oh my god you live with your body i'm actually going to give you an eight just because you did exactly what i told you to do i will say i think dylan did a great job but it seems like for this one in particular they tended to go back to be like wow you're listening to us that's great let's give you a couple of aids how about that well i think you know the timing was perfect like his footwork timing was
And I, and I told you, I told you, and that's why I was smiling when you were saying that.
I told you week one, you're going to start to look for the technique.
You're like, no, I won't.
And now you are.
But anyway, uh, well, all right, yeah, I told you.
It's a dick.
No, I was, I didn't really look for it.
I was just commenting on what the judges were saying.
I still don't fucking know what I'm looking at.
I still don't know what I'm looking at.
By the way, I expected at some point in time, either one, a kachal during this.
I know, that's a bummer.
Not one, Cajal.
And also, they didn't do, and I know TikTok tonight was last week,
but they didn't do the TikTok trend of having Lightning
McQueen just kind of like speed across the screen.
If they had done that, like, oh, look, look at this bolt of lightning.
Cajah!
Yeah, that's a good one.
But I thought that he was great.
The one thing I noticed from last week and the week before,
I keep seeing it.
His arm, that bugs me.
Because, like, it's never, it's like always kind of,
maybe it's because he's too tall.
I don't know.
I don't want to say gangly because that makes you think that like he's super skinny and like
and he's not limbs everywhere.
He's a big dude and he's got really long gangly ass arms.
So they're just kind of like floating around out here.
I want to see it.
I want to see a kachow.
You know what I'm saying?
You know what I'm saying?
You know what I'm saying chow that arm because it's going to stand out if you're that long.
Yeah, but that took me back too, man.
Cars.
Wow.
First time I sell cars.
I love cars.
I love cars.
Still.
I don't love the spy one as much.
but cars one and two cars one and two are solid yeah anyway Danielle let's get to her who I
thought this was good again I kind of I think you see the injury a little bit here like
you just yeah you know like the as you said from TikTok night where we see the kicks
because she did the the quick step as well yeah and I think it did her a disservice to go after
Dylan because we just saw that like oh shit he's moving and then we see daniels it was good
but she was a little it wasn't as lively how about they do the they do a lot of the kickouts
which is like it requires you to have a functioning hamstring so kind of an interesting
you would think they would try to cater to her injury a little bit now obviously she's going
to have to do a quick step at some point I'm sure that's part of the rules like you can't just
do the salsa every fucking week or something like that I'm sure you have to do one of each but
you get to pick when you do it exactly and i'm sure you can probably double up on the ones that you do
really well but for this particular dance it requires a lot of hamstring movement so that was one
of the things that i was kind of keying in on you could see her left leg was like full rotation
back out to the left right leg skirt right she was trying which again i'm going to have to
give her credit for because that sucks and i'm sure she's in fucking pain and fighting through it
and she's still trying to do it it's not like she's just
completely ignoring the right side she's still doing it so i'm going to give her credit for that i think
yeah and i think that's because there was a misstep in there as the judge points out uh one of them
pointed out that she did i think it was carry ann uh we take a little misstep but i'm gonna attribute
that to injury i think that's got a bum hammy we're working through it so you know shit happens
sevens across the board 21 respectable score i do think if you want to be in the conversation now
you need to deliver at least one eight a week i think that's the bare minimum but it's
enough still, I think next week is going to be that hard cutoff where it's like, all right, shit's getting serious.
So hopefully we get a little more rest and recovery on that hammy, so she comes back a little stronger.
But let's keep trucking to one of my new favorites is Scott Hoing once again.
He did the salsa from Bob to the Top from high school musical.
I thought it carried over from last week.
I saw the same kind of lively performance.
And was it a little more loosey-goosey?
yes but I think that's attributed to he's he's comfortable now and I would rather see him really go for it and be that little more comfortable Lucy Goosey out there and then next week rain it in but now we've got two confident weeks he's he kind of knows who he is as a dancer now I think I think that's a really good way to put it but I think he got if this makes any sense I think he got too comfortable we watched him get way too comfortable and it was almost like he was kind of going off on his own here and doing some random dance moves didn't really make a ton of sense
but then he would rain it back in and then go more rigid and like actually structured.
So he was kind of bopping back and forth.
But every time that it seemed like he was out on his own, he was doing a weird thing with either his arms or his legs.
And you can see he's really happy and enjoying himself, which is great, but you do still have to have that structure.
And I think that's why he got dinged in this because it wasn't like, maybe it's the choreography.
That's kind of where my knowledge just drops.
I don't know if it's the choreography or if he just did something wrong.
either way, it didn't look the same.
When I watched TikTok night, I'm like, damn, that was down pat.
He had every fucking step in there.
This one, it just seemed like it was a lot more freeform, which the judge has never liked.
And I think that was the problem.
Yeah.
And I think that's where it comes in where it's like, okay, you found yourself, which is awesome.
Fuck, yes, Scott.
We love to see that.
So now that we're there, next week, let's really fine tune.
Now let's get technical with it.
It's like, hey, have fun and cut loose out there.
and then he has fun and cuts loose, does really well,
and then having fun cut loose round two.
You're having too much fun out there.
You've got to rate it.
But now we know where that barometer is.
Yeah, so now he's,
I'll find the middle.
I think he's good.
I think he really has promise based off of last week.
I don't know if he's going to get the fan vote,
which seems to be the biggest fucking part of this show.
They need to restructure it.
That's not fair.
It's insane.
But, like, again, I don't think he'll get the fan vote unless,
in last week, I think he wowed the audience.
audience. Like, I think he got a lot of votes for the fans that were like, wow, I didn't think
he had to know. And then this week, it's kind of more of the same. So he, he started through
because I do see where people. Yeah, but I met from the fans perspective where it's like,
okay. That was a, that was an okay dance. Like nothing crazy. And I feel like last week it was,
oh shit, this guy could dance. This week, it's, all right. Yeah, sure, whatever. So the fan vote is
the biggest, uh, the biggest factor in all of this anyway. But yeah, which is he gets sevens,
sevens across the board, which is the new average. Um, yeah,
21's kind of middle of the road.
I love that they tick it up a little bit.
You know, Andy and Corey were getting fives across the board the first two weeks.
Now he's getting sixes.
That's the low.
Seven across the board is the average, but you can do better.
You get an eight in there.
You're safe.
That's pretty much what I'm judging it by.
Well, no, you're not.
Well, I meant like safe from the judges, but not.
Yeah, like they need to figure something out here.
But let's get to Alex Earl.
And I think that a big part of this,
again is what the
judges say this is
a formidable duo they
work well together her and Val
this was stunning I was
like locked in this whole
time I thought it felt like it was actually
a scene from the movie I thought that she
was on point what she does so
well she's graceful but she's also very
pointed like every she hits all of
her her poses and everything
on the time that's like the one thing
because obviously I'm not a choreographer
for my aunt chrissey is for the new york city ballet i didn't know if i tell you that but uh he worked
on black swan um but the one thing you really can do as a like a novice watching this is timing
at the very least because like a lot of times you'll see especially the end of the song
the final pose is slightly offbeat because they're slightly late or they're slightly early she's not
ever it's pop pop pop on time the whole time which is fun this scene that they created was powerful
and she just, she's a phenomenal entertainer.
Like she did a great job.
And the choreography was fucking awesome.
Yeah, the choreography was incredible.
I thought that she hit every single thing.
Like there didn't look to be any missteps, which let's be very honest,
99% of the people out there watching that are just watching for enjoyment are doing the same
shit that we're doing.
Whoa, that was crazy.
It didn't look like there were any missteps.
She looked like she was really just focused and getting it done.
And also it's got to be the choreography.
Like, that's pretty much what 99% of us do.
And then there's that 1% that's looking at things that I don't even know exist.
But I thought that this was outstanding.
I thought that this was, I thought it was the best dance of the night.
I thought it deserved a nine.
We needed a nine.
I thought it deserved a nine.
I was shocked.
And I ate across the board at minimum.
I expected one nine to float in there because that was well deserved.
I thought she did a great job.
And I love her post interview.
She's like, yeah, this isn't like really me at all because she is.
she's she's that like light very you know out there flamboyant with like a lot of light colors
and seeing her at all black and doing a very different type of dance is cool because it gets
her out of her comfort zone and she did well so i think that deserves another nine and you know
i'm gonna bitch about the scores i am too it's impossible not to because of the comparison when you
that's what drives me nuts you put them next to each other it's like how does that get a nine
unless it's something so minorly technical that you didn't explain.
Like that's the thing.
If you're going to bump someone up, but for us,
we're seeing similar dances.
Tell me exactly what the technicality was that lost her a point.
Right.
Because I don't understand it.
Yeah.
Like I need this to go up against,
you know,
Whitney who did get a nine in her scorer and then to see.
And again,
no shade to Whitney because that was in front of dance too.
But I need to see them side by side and I need the judges to break it down
and say I gave, and maybe they do this on their podcast that I'll never listen to,
but I need to understand why they got a nine.
So, you know what?
Actually, we'll just, we'll put a task to the audience.
If you guys listen to The Dancing with the Stars podcast, report back to us if they report
on why Alex didn't get an eight or didn't get a nine and Whitney did get a nine.
That's what I want to know.
Please, because we simply do not have the time.
That's not even a joke.
We have so many shows on right now.
We decided to step out and do some other stuff right, right?
right when shit was getting heavy.
Yeah.
Yeah, it's all good.
We're not complaining.
We love having a full docket.
But, yeah, Alex Earle, absolute wow.
Well done, which takes us to Hilaria.
Hi there.
Fred Greenhald here,
director of audio dramas like DC high-volume Batman
and Star Trek Khan.
However, my one true love remains all things spooky,
and I'm excited to say there's a new season
of my horror podcast, Undertoe.
This season is called Familiar Haunts,
standalone horror tales that reveal
how the past is never truly gone,
and humanity may be the most.
ruthless monster of them all.
Familiar haunts is available now.
Find it by subscribing to Undertow wherever you get your podcasts,
such as the app where you're listening to me right now.
Search for Undertow.
There are vampires out there.
They're beside you in the darkness,
but what people don't understand is that they're not monsters.
They're just going to work, living there on lives.
But we are a dying breed.
Those who came before me, they are fearful
and are not content to sit back and just disappear.
And they'll do anything to fix that.
From the creators of Parkdale Haunt comes Woodbine, a podcast about monsters, dreams, and changes, those you want, and those you never saw coming.
Season two arrives September 24th, distributed by Realm.
Hey, Michael.
Hey, Tom.
Big news to share it, right?
Yes, huge, monumental, earth-shaking.
Heartbeat sound effect, big.
Mink is back.
That's right.
After a brief snack nap.
We're coming back.
We're picking snacks.
We're eating snacks.
We're raiding snacks.
Like the snackologist we were born to be.
mate is back
Mike and Tom
eat snacks
wherever you get your podcast
unless you get them
from a snack machine
in which case
call us
now
before we
talk about Hilaria
obviously this is
the Star Wars song
the best
the canteen band
it is the best
and it's
what's the name
I always get the name
ever done
Star Wars barcy
that that band name is funny
but
the genre of music is even funnier.
And I'm going to see if you can guess it.
So it's Frigran Dan and the modal nodes is who sings the canteena song.
Now,
George Lucas in an interview said what this genre of music is.
It's similar to a type of music that we have now that also uses a lot of horn instruments.
Okay.
One word is different.
One letter's different.
and the result is hysterical.
And I don't know if it was intentional
or if this word came about later
to mean what it means now.
No, it's not Jiz, is it?
It is 100% you guessed it.
Yes.
Oh, God.
Google that.
Google that.
You want me to Google Jiz.
No, no, no, no, no, no.
If anyone wants to Google,
type in Figrin Dan and the modal nodes,
Figrin, not fingering,
Figrin Dan in the modal nodes,
Cantina's song.
genre it is j i z z so per george lucas hilarious a hilarious dance to jiz i didn't make this up this
is a fact you can't make this up some things are bigger than sports um star wars is then jiz
i never knew that that's so funny isn't that good i love this fucking song this song is great i will
say um this and i think it was uh oh no my i'm jumping the gun here but this song i
think it's incredible.
I think it's very funny.
And I think it's also very easy to dance to because what kind of dance did she end up doing
for this one,
a quick step?
It seems like a quick step type of song.
So it was perfect for that because it's just so upbeat and fun and goofy.
And it's just a great time.
And I love to see it.
Now, that being said, I didn't love to see Alec again going on the trip.
Why is he at Disneyland?
Why is he have to be there?
He can't book a movie because he killed somebody.
he's trying to get on camera
Just go back to the bar
I don't really understand
Why he needs to be on there anymore
But I think she did well
I do think
Hilaria is a good dancer
I think the choreography is always good
Between the two of them
I think more so
Than even people disliking Hilaria
They really dislike Gleb
Because of all the stuff coming out
With the Naders
It just sucks to be in them
position because I think she's a good dancer and I think that she could have potentially gotten to
like a final of some kind but to see this and it's not like I got to a point where I'm like oh
warming up to her she's okay like I still think her personality kind of sucks I think it's incredibly
funny because she has a valley girl accent so while she's talking when she's at Disneyland she's got
a valley girl accent the whole time and then every once in a while you'll hear a sentence and
you're like where the fuck are you from what is that she she changed her accent willingly at some
point in her life and it just was different from that on but yes it'll slip out it drives me up a wall
yeah she reached a point with me on the show where i was kind of in the beginning i'm like oh
she's kind of irritating then she was just neutral then i didn't really have an opinion i think what
happened and it's enjoyable to actually watch her dance and then when she's talking like oh god yeah
and i think the biggest issue she ran into as far as fan votes go yeah you're in a sandwich of
Gleb and Alec Baldwin, two very unlikable people.
So it's, and you have a fake accent for that Oreo cream in the middle.
So you're kind of in a shit sandwich as far as like getting votes from us.
But that being said, credit where credits do, she is good.
Like I noticed that she tends to be a little tighter when they're doing like rolls and
stuff.
But other than that, her footwork's always good.
Her timing's good.
Her posture's great.
So like credit credit to her.
She, she deserved another week, but at the same time, likeability factor.
I do get her going home before Andy Richter.
Like that does make sense to me.
Yeah.
Yeah, exactly.
But yeah, so she got two eight to seven.
Pretty good score from the judges.
That's why I said eights don't save you.
Yeah, that's, it doesn't apply to her.
But again, I do one, I love the song.
I know I'm a huge fan of Jiz.
And, yeah.
What more can you say, honestly, about that?
Just that.
Just that.
It's a genre of music, you sickos.
Get your head out of the gutter.
Let's get to Andy Richter, who does the Viennese waltz to my favorite song from any Disney movie because of the scene.
Ratatoui is my favorite Pixar, by far, obviously, as a chef.
But I love how it's shot, like, to just say a technical, like, I love the food scenes.
I love how in depth they are.
I love the imagery.
I just love, like, I feel like I can smell.
and taste through the screen.
Like when he takes a bite of the strawberry with the cheesy finds in the trash
and it does like the colors that are depicting the flavors,
I'm like, I can fucking taste what you're eating right now.
But love that movie,
love this song in particular because of the montage that goes with it in the movie.
I love this dance.
Again, the judges are 100% spot on.
It's very sweet.
You give very memorable performances because we're all rooting for you
and because you have us on your team.
this is a copy and paste of last week and the week prior all it's telling me because the first two
weeks i think the judges were incredibly nice and obviously their scores don't really reflect it
but all of their comments are very nice they're not very constructive they're not saying you know
you really got to come out and do this or that or whatever because they know that he's kind
of at his limit you know he's doing what he can he might be able to step it up for a certain
song and i think the big task for next week is probably finding that song and finding that
quick step weirdly might be the one it might be but i think there's too many opportunities we are
really breaking this down i think there's too many opportunities i love i love it i think there's way
too many opportunities for a misstep that could throw off the whole routine with him for a quick
step so but you got to throw a hell mary you got one more week maybe i agree i agree yeah maybe you do
have to throw that hell mary i just i don't know if that's going to work out too well that being said
i think what we're seeing now the judges are starting to be critical and not constructive and it's
getting to the point where I think for them anyway,
it's kind of losing the novelty.
And I don't think that they're looking at the contestants
the same way that we are.
They're not looking at them like,
all right,
we have to get rid of this person,
this person,
and then we've got a good crop of people
that can actually surprise us
or continue to do it really well.
And it might make for a really good at final.
I think now we're kind of at that point
where it's like,
okay,
we have to start getting serious.
So they're not that they're fed up,
but I think that they are surprised
that he's still here.
And they still have to comment on his dances.
Dev made a good point, though, about this.
I said the same thing.
She agrees, obviously, at a certain extent.
You've got to honor the people that are doing well just because of the fan vote.
But at the same time, the keystone or cornerstone of this show was for people like Andy.
No, no dancing experience, nothing at all.
They learn as they go and do they turn into an amazing dancer.
It has since become this person has ballroom dancing experience.
this person is a decorated artist that goes on tour and dances on stage.
This person does tick.
Like it's turned into a lot of people have prerequisites where it originally it wasn't so
much that.
So Andy somewhat embodies that.
The only problem with Andy is we have seen zero progress.
We've seen him get better posture for sure.
We've seen him hitting some of the poses and stuff like that.
But as far as seeing something new or like, oh, that was good.
You don't get that from him.
get oh that's so sweet and like his daughter with ratatuity on her shoulder fucking
at all so very amazing right so like i get what he got through this week for sure i can definitely
see him one-up being hilaria fine next week you got to throw the hail mary and land it that i mean
for the people that are still left the only person that he might be able to and this is someone
who actually got a couple of eights elaine just run through he might be able to overtake scott
holying i don't i don't see him taking over elaine elaine shows so many different instances of doing
super well and you can see that there's like a good dancer in her background i'm more talking
fan votes uh maybe jen aflac that's the only one that i can see yeah because we've got whitney
jen is kind of like a bit of an afterthought and i think that she's actually making progress and
doesn't that suck but i feel the same way yeah i do think that she's a bit of an afterthought because
of how good whitney is that it's almost like okay
if we're looking at this, Andy could still, because of the fan vote, get over a Jen,
get over Scott Hoying or something like that next week, depending on how things go.
So we might have them, but I agree with you.
I think this is it.
I think next week should be the Hail Mary.
And then he goes out a champion, you know, in his own right, where I gave it my all.
I did everything I could.
I didn't expect to get this far.
And here I am, and my family's very proud of me.
And I think he'll walk away feeling really good.
So I think that's a win-win for everybody.
that's what we need we need to let him sail off into the sunset with his head held high he gave
his best shot gave us some of the most memorable all season yeah and let's pat him on the butt
nice job dude yep we'll remember you hopefully you come back to watch some dances i don't pat him on the
back i mean we don't have to pat him on the butt well you're making it weird now it's more of a
sports reference like out of boy you know yeah okay just a baseball that's seen football
I know that's fucking with you.
But let's move on to
kind of talked about a little bit with Robert Irwin.
He won Zootopia 2 looks incredible.
I can't wait.
Phenomenal.
Zootopia 2 is going to be great.
And you're also in that that portion of your life
where you've got two daughters now and not that
your youngest is going to be able to understand what's going on.
She's going to love the colors and she's going to love what's going on.
It's the best part.
Not the best part, but one of the best things about having
kids is like you get to they get to that age where they start to hang out and like be your
friend oh yeah this is my favorite age and you just get to like you get to like take her to the
movies and go yeah dude it's awesome i can't just go and sit in the back row and watch that mustache no
no i'd have i'd have to go with you and your daughter to actually feel comfortable that's fine
you're more than welcome you know uncle shooters always welcome but uh yeah it is it's fun and like
poppy has her favorites that are also mine so like we get to run through those frequently but i'm
excited to reopen that door with Scotty when she gets a little bit older.
But they danced, as you said, to try everything, which is Shakira, I believe, sings this.
She's the giraffe in Zootopia.
And it was good.
It was good.
And from a Judd's standpoint, they say technically it was fairly sound.
Yeah, it was solid.
I think he's having a Lauren moment a little bit where it's like the bar, that first dance,
is just stuck in everybody's head.
So now we have this expectation to be just floored every week.
He hasn't done that since week one.
We've seen this plateau for the past few weeks where it's like, yes, technically you're
hitting the right notes, technically you're moving the right way.
Sure, it's good, but we want better then.
You know what I mean?
Yeah, no, I feel you entirely.
I think the way that he came out in that first episode, it was a big wow factor.
And then he's just kind of evened out.
Again, he's not doing points.
poorly. He's not doing anything wrong. He's not doing anything bad. There's just no progress. And it's like you said. It's the same thing as Lauren. You looked so comfortable in that first episode. You looked unbelievably comfortable. You looked like you were going to win the whole goddamn thing right away out of the gate. And then you kind of just settled it. And you're not really doing much else. And again, I feel bad saying it because clearly he looks like a hard worker. I'm sure he's working really hard in the interim. He's going to practice and doing all the things that he needs to do. Maybe it's a little choreography. Maybe it's just,
You need something to just kind of wake you up.
Just get it.
Maybe next week is the one when you're going to be doing some sort of dedication song,
whatever he chooses.
I do think it's not funny,
ha, ha,
but it's very interesting online because everybody's on there.
Like,
I can't wait for one.
They said,
I can't wait for Disney night because he's going to do something from like
the Lion King or something to dedicate to his dad,
not knowing the dedication week was the next week.
And then next week,
obviously,
his dedication week.
So they're like,
he's going to dedicate something to his dad.
And people in the comments are so funny because the first comment is,
always Robert Irwin just existing on Dancing with the Stars first comment hey man your dad's dead
it's funny and I would like to see I think he might go this way maybe it's a dedication to his
parents maybe it's dedication to just his mom which would be very sweet I think that would be more
so where he's going to go but maybe that's what he needs maybe he just needs like a bit of a wake-up call
like hey get emotional put your whole heart into it and let's see what you actually have because
you showed so much promise that first week
Now you just look like a sound good background dancer at this point.
And we need that leading man again.
You know what I mean?
And I think it would be sweet.
His mom's in the crowd every night, which she was on Crocodile Hunter for its entirety.
A huge fan of hers as well.
So I agree.
I think that next week's going to be a big step forward for him because we're all expecting a certain dance.
It's definitely.
We know it's in there.
So still holding out hope for it.
And again, like this is criticizing someone who's doing very well.
just because we expect better.
But Elaine Hendricks,
and he gets a 7 to 7 and 8 for a 22,
but Elaine does the quick step to Space Mountain.
Now,
the song choice was awful.
And I get...
Dude, this sucked.
It was awful.
And it made the dance seem bad,
which it wasn't.
The judges like the dance was one of the best ones you've done.
Everything was right.
You did this.
You did that.
You did this.
The song was so fast.
Weird.
It was bizarre.
It lands on the bottom three, doesn't it?
it does no no she got the aides across that was last week yeah that was last week but this week for
this one i said the same thing once it started i'm like what fucking song from space mountain is the
theme of the roller coaster they did a really good job of explaining you know her background with
space mountain and like her background with disney or whatever and you know obviously some of that
is just fan service for for disney and their anniversary or whatever but once it started i'm like
what the fuck is it's like what are you to do meanwhile the other space
song cantina jizz was incredible and it's so easy to dance to and it's the perfect song for a
quick step this one i'm like i it's so chaotic i don't even know if this is good or bad this was
the first song i think in four weeks that i i genuinely was just befuddled i didn't know if it was
good or bad i thought she looked good but i didn't know if she was hitting her steps because the song
is so fucking dumb and stupid and i don't get it that i'm just confused and then once they started spouting
off all the things and they didn't really give her much like constructive criticism they didn't
say you need to do better there or this or whatever I'm like maybe she did a good job and then she
gets aides across the board and I'm like she did great I had no idea I was in the same exact boat
I'm like I don't know how to judge this because I can't time it I can't do anything I'm just watching
this chaotic scene she does good enough eights across the board so clearly she did technically
well so I have nothing negative to say about it other than the song threw me off so
much that I didn't really know what I was watching.
But that's not her fault.
That's, again, choreography, and that's the song they picked.
So she did a nice job, according to the judges.
I'll defer to them.
Yeah.
Which takes us to Whitney.
I don't know what to say.
She's phenomenal.
It's starting to look unfair.
She looks like a fucking girl.
They look like the troop.
Like, you could, if I didn't know who Whitney was and I just turned on the TV, I'd be like,
oh, they're like some sort of intermission right now.
They've got the troop out there dancing.
Like, who's this?
This must be a new star or it's the up-and-coming dancer or whatever it might be.
Like, she just looks so good.
The song choices are always perfect.
Her steps are always perfect.
It looks like they're just not missing a beat.
There's just nothing to say.
It's incredible.
And again, yeah, like I said earlier, she was a ballroom dancing major when she went to
college, which puts her in a good spot.
But it looks more to me like.
this is a passion and she's probably continued to do it since college and she's really
fucking good at it so good for her yeah it's impressive to watch like even all the way
down to her facial expressions as she's doing it yeah like a lot of people don't have
the timing yeah like she just seems so overly comfortable that she could do this in her sleep
and the score reflects that she gets a nine and eight and an eight now you compare this to
Alex Earls dance different.
And I agree that Whitney brings like a little bit of a different factor.
But as far as like captivation, I believe they both deserve the nine.
Maybe Whitney deserved two lines.
No.
I think it's just because I think it's too early in the season for two nines.
Yeah, maybe so.
He will get two nines.
I would love to see if like Alex would.
But I think we're at the part of the season where what Alex did was so captivating and such a wow.
moment of holy shit i didn't know you had that in you and that was flawless nine she deserved a nine
because you didn't know it was unexpected whitney this is getting to the point and like again no shade and
i'm not dinging her for this but you expect a great performance so give her a nine because it was a
great performance but there are two very different nines in my book where if alex gets one i'm like
that's the win of the fucking night that's the dance of the night even whitneys could be better
than alex's but at the end of the day i'm going to remember alex's so i think that for the judges at
point give Alex a nine because who the fuck cares she's going to get through for fan boat anyway
give her a goddamn nine she worked her ass off and she did a great job Whitney also working her
ass off deserves the judge's score of a nine so that she continues to go through so we're at that
portion of the season we're like it doesn't matter that much if we do the same thing at the end of
the season I'd probably be okay with Whitney getting like a point higher maybe she gets two nines
and an eight and Alex gets a nine eight for the same exact dance I'd be okay with that because
it would make sense to me yeah I agree we need
a nine there but Whitney deserved her nine as well not I'm not digging anything she did it was it was
incredible not at all she's just she's unbelievable to watch yeah it really is it's very captivating
and it takes us to Jordan childs again we're trending in the right direction she just seems to be
getting better and better I wouldn't say it's like there's anything where you're like whoa
holy shit it's just overall you're like that was a very strong performance and she's starting
to really like I said about Scott Hoy I think she's she's she's
finding who she is as a dancer.
Yeah, she's starting to...
Frowning out nicely.
Yeah, stepping beyond that I'm a gymnast
and now it's more so like I can dance
and it's really fun to watch.
And she's incredibly athletic, obviously.
So that and being able to take instruction.
And I love Ezra.
I love her dance partner.
I think he's unbelievable.
And he knows exactly what he has to do.
And again, I commend them because we talked about
at the beginning of the episode.
They're not just leaning into the fact
that she can do a bunch of flips and jump in the air
and be incredibly athletic.
They're showcasing how she's able
the dance, which, you know, I think she probably did this.
I didn't, I don't really remember the Olympics, but she probably did that free form gymnast
where the floor routine, a little bit, yeah, the floor routine.
That's what it is.
Thank you.
I'm sure she did that and she probably excelled at that.
So lean into more of that, like showcase a little bit of creativity.
And I think they're doing a good job at that.
And she's, she's one of those who's moving forward where she started off.
You knew that the talent was there.
You knew the athleticism was there, but she looked a little rigid.
She's loosening up and she's doing better as she loosening.
up so I mean what more can you ask for yeah she's a top contender for sure uh and fun to watch
i really enjoy her dances great song choice uh great movie choice i guess this is yeah it's a phenomenal
film but the final duo jenn aflick and yon and you're 100% right because
for all intents and purposes great dance good job we're seeing progress she's perfectly done
same thing could be said for her as we said for jordan
honestly absolutely but you're expecting whitney for some reason which isn't fair to her but you are
because they come from the same show so i do believe there's a bit of a shadow there that
i would be curious if there's a way that they can it's not a hail mary because i think that she's
probably middle to middle low of the pack just because of fan votes i think next week you got to go
for you really got to go for it to try to get her to step out of that shadow that is whitney
i think she's made a ton of progress i don't like a lot of the people that were watching
you know you go back to jordan obviously who just danced before her you can say she was a little
rigid and now she's opening up but everything that was there all the talent was there jen is
different where i don't like you could have told me that she's never danced before yeah
and she did a great job and she looked okay and she's getting a little bit more comfortable
but overall it's like she's she's actually getting a getting to be a better dancer yeah that's
what we've been watching like she's finding the move she's understanding what she has to do and
actually putting it into practice which comes with hard practice and i think that's what she's doing
and it's it's showcasing really well it just sucks for her because she she does seem like an
afterthought and i get that Whitney's really good and Whitney's going to carry for the rest of the
season for sure but you got to give a little bit of love to jen because she's getting better every week
I agree. And I think that's a big, you know, obviously we're going to have our favorites. But as journalists, you know, that we are, we need to try to maintain some neutrality. So I think that that's the best way to look at it is favorites aside, are we making progress? Are you doing things differently than last week? Are you working on what was asked of you? And is it a captivating dance? That's kind of my judgment, favoritism aside. And I think I've done a pretty good job of me. I root for certain people.
more, but I will be critical of my favorites as well.
I think we both did that early.
I think the first two episodes, we were rooting for our favorites.
And now we've got to the point where we just want to see a good product.
Yeah.
Yeah, the, the schick has run its course to where now I'm more just like, all right, let's,
let's get down to the dance.
Because we're starting to thin out the herd in which it's like the remaining people are
going to be held to a certain standard.
Once Andy Richter's out of there, especially, we'll miss him.
But at the same time, now it's like, okay, we're all, it throws off the show.
a bit because you only
have one person on that lower
scale. So when
he's anywhere close to anybody, let's say
someone who gets an 18 or a 19
and they're giving him three or sixes across
the board, it's like, well, you're taking away from what
that person did by saying it on the same
par as Andy Richter.
Yeah. But we're
heating up, baby. We're getting to the fun
stuff. And as we already
said a couple times, Hilaria went home.
It was a bit
unexpected but she she just had a shit draw people already don't like her husband they don't like
her dance partner it was going to happen no matter what we we knew she was never going to make it to
the final i do think as we said before i think the joke runs its course and he's probably out next
week i think that should be set in stone at this point so that we can break free to the other side
which is who's the best answer that's what this is all about i agree i agree and i think it's time
I think it's time that we let the cream rise to the top, as they say.
That's what they say.
But we will tune.
Don't worry, we'll get next week out in a timely manner, so we're not waiting two weeks to recap.
It's easier now, too, because there's less dancers so we can get there a little bit quicker.
But, yeah, that's all I got.
You got anything else?
Nope.
Well, that's our show, bro.
It's got to go.
Welcome and Edgrip, you dare.
