Bros & Shows - Drew And Dennis: Business Partners w/ Benefits? (RHOA Full Recap)

Episode Date: March 18, 2025

What's up Bros? We are really happy with the start of RHOA. The season premiere was very strong and it felt like they used the second episode to catch up up on what all the ladies are up to in their p...ersonal lives. In this episode, the ladies finish the conversation at Shamea's party and Drew and Dennis take center stage. Porsha "doesnt care" if theyre hooking up, but takes an issue with Drew asking producers to film with Dennis behind her back. Kelli shares her new location of Nana's Waffles and the road bumps their working through (in a clearly produced scene). Kenya and Porsha sit down to discuss Drew and why Porsha feels a type of way about it. Shamea lets us in on her journey through pregnancy, IVF and surrogacy when she sits down for a touching scene with her surrogate Shadina, who was diagnosed with breast cancer during her pregnancy with Shamea's daughter. We get to know Angela more as well as Charles Oakley (who we are familiar with via basketball). Porsha sits with Dennis to discuss the Drew scenario and it doesn't exactly go her way... Starting point is 00:00:00 DC high volume, Batman. The Dark Knight's definitive DC comic stories adapted directly for audio for the very first time. Fear, I have to make them afraid. He's got a motorcycle, get after him, or have you shot? What do you mean blow up the building? From this moment on,
Starting point is 00:00:23 none of you are safe. New episodes every Wednesday, wherever you get your podcasts. Let the record show that Shimea did in fact drop a single last week. I called it. I win. Big Dubs for me. Have you listened to it?
Starting point is 00:00:40 No. What do you mean? No. Brows and shows. I got to have me my pros and shows. Bros and shows. Brose and shows. I got to have me my bros and shows.
Starting point is 00:00:53 Good afternoon, everybody. Welcome back to another episode of Bros and Shows. I am your co-host, St. Russell, joined as always, by the one and own. the peachy geets what's up dude we have done three takes of this now so it has lost its charm originally i said i do feel like that nickname makes me seem cute and i'm into it but i hate it the more i hear it the less i like it i don't like it anymore because we had to do this thrice to get started but hey we are here to talk atlanta and i enjoyed this episode i thought
Starting point is 00:01:25 it was a solid start. I think that this actually was more more in tune with like a first episode of the season. We got a lot more background this episode than last week, which I actually don't mind because it's like they started off the season hot. Now let's get some backstory, but we're already bought in a little bit more. Plus there's a little drama sprinkled in.
Starting point is 00:01:44 I thought it was solid. Solid second episode. I agree with that actually. That makes a lot of sense to me. I wasn't thinking that while watching the episode, but that makes sense to me. I feel like last week's episode was sort of like a prelude, just a little like, hey,
Starting point is 00:01:54 here's everybody out here here's some drama now we're just going to get into the what's everybody up to now type of phase and that's what I feel like we got out of this episode I do have a question for you sure does Fajer just replace Kenya halfway through the season like seamlessly
Starting point is 00:02:10 is it just going to be like all right Kenya's out of here here's Fadra I don't know because I know Fadra comes back I'm just not sure when she enters the scene that would make sense to me I don't know in the timeline because the drama is between Kenya and Kelly, correct?
Starting point is 00:02:26 I think so, yeah. That's who she made the posters of or whatever. So I would, it depends on when the timeline is, I guess, like when that actually occurs. Is that early in the season? Is that late in the season? Because that's when Kenya goes away. Yeah, I'm not really sure, honestly. I'm not there.
Starting point is 00:02:43 Look, I am at least grateful because in this episode we get a Kenya and Porsche sit down, which, you know, if you've been watching Atlanta or even know anything about Atlanta, that's kind of crazy to see. So I'm happy we at least got that because we do know for a fact There are certain things that are being wiped clean when it comes to Kenya She doesn't have any confessionals So we basically just have to sit there like I wonder what Kenya thinks about this We're not going to find out that's such a weird angle though
Starting point is 00:03:07 Like if you're gonna have her in this season you can have confessions with her Right? I agree unless she's got the boot before they started filming confessionals Which is a possibility but that would be really early on I don't know I just feel like if she's on the show you might as well do the confession it's not like you're right it just doesn't make sense to me i'm not saying that she shouldn't have gotten the boot for what she did i'm just saying if she's in the show already what's a confessional going to do so yeah no i i fully agree with that i feel like if whatever footage you have just use it don't start like editing things over she was already here and yeah
Starting point is 00:03:41 maybe if you want to get like it gets a little closer to it and there's a couple of nods to the information that she does or the leak that she makes later or you know whatever she does to get kicked off the show and she starts getting a little out there fine go ahead and edit that all you want but these scenes at the beginning i want to know what she's doing like when she's sitting down with Porsche i want to know what she's talking about because right we just get Porsche's side of it it's like okay yeah that's fine but i want to know what kenya's up to yeah she's on the show so let's at least hear her out but let's get into this episode we pick up right where we left off from last week all the ladies are sitting at shamiah's house discussing the Porsche drew Dennis debacle
Starting point is 00:04:20 and a lot more starts to come out. And let's remember, Drew has been caught in lies before. She's a known liar, if you will. So as she's going through this whole thing, they're like, well, we heard that you guys are wearing matching outfits and we got a picture of those two out together. And the big question is, you know, why Dennis? Like, why are you getting involved with the father of my child? And Drew is claiming that she had discussed it with Portia that this is not new news.
Starting point is 00:04:50 and that Dennis had reached out to Porsche, that Dennis reached out to Ralph, that everything was taken care of beforehand on Porsche's like, we've never talked about this. Yeah, and that's kind of the vibe that we're getting here, too. And if you're going to be accused of sleeping with Porsche's X-Man, you should probably do a little bit more than what Drew did in this scene. And I feel like last week where we left off, I know that Drew is a known liar. I know that she's up there with Mia from Potomac in the ranks of Best Liars and the Halifives. I don't think she's quite there.
Starting point is 00:05:21 There's a big discourse going on online right now. I wanted to create a burner so I could get involved in this without actually getting back to me. What would your burner name be? Oh, God. I don't know. It can't be derivative of Shooter McGuder. I was trying to think of something derivative, which would be kind of funny. Exactly.
Starting point is 00:05:41 That could be the whole purpose of a burner. Sherlock Gooder. But yeah, a lot of people were putting her up there with Mia. Mia is untouchable in the lying game. She lies about what she had for breakfast to nobody. Like, that is where she lives. So she's not quite there, but Drew does lie a lot. And at the end of last week's episode, I'm like, I don't really see them being romantic.
Starting point is 00:06:01 Like, yeah, maybe there's some flirtations here and there, whatever. The more that we went on into this scene, I'm like, Drew, Drew, what are you doing? Like, just you have to vehemently deny. You can't sit there and, like, laugh about it or open up for more questions and not answer those questions. It's like, what are you doing? This is very cut and dry. In this scene, she even says, let me just put this to bed real quick. Everybody wants it to be done.
Starting point is 00:06:26 Like, all right, cool, let's do it. Go ahead. Let's hear what you have to say? And she says nothing. She does no denial. So I'm like, what is going on? It's pretty nuts. And like when she starts to get further and further into it, like you said, she doesn't
Starting point is 00:06:38 do herself any favors because she's not just flat out like, no, of course not. She gives way too much information that's not really pertinent. He's not an angel on earth. angel on earth he's like by saving grace and you know we're only doing business together again he said that he talked to you i tried to call you multiple times she's like what about texting like you ever tried sending a text to me and she keeps going and she's like you know dennis has been a brother to me i literally wrote down did you boink or not because we still haven't talked about it's all we want to know and her big finish is he said to me i need you to record this song
Starting point is 00:07:17 for me and Portia and he cried about it. I was like, oh my God, that's way too much. You're offering way too much. Yeah. Like you're you're creating more of an intimate relationship by trying to convince us that it's not an intimate relationship. Yeah, like Portia and Shamia have no information to go off of other than it seems like she's working with Dennis and there's some pictures from Drew's birthday that nobody else was really invited to that we didn't get to see if they were buddy buddy or if they were a little too close for comfort. You can just operate like that just deny denied nobody knows anything at this point nobody's coming to you with any evidence they're all just saying hey it's a little weird what do you think about this because
Starting point is 00:07:55 we think that you're boinkin that's all you have to do is just deny that instead she goes around and around and around and around and does herself no favors and just creates way more questions than she actually answered so it's very weird and the way that we've watched drew in the last couple of seasons as well she is a huge liar so this is part for the course for her so now we're all thinking and me included after last week I'm like nah no way I you know what I don't know now I'm thinking absolutely yes they did it's getting a little bit more suspect and then Porsche finally because she waits let's her get all that crazy talk out she's like are you done now and she claps back at her and she's like I rode so hard for you I brought you in to go naked for my hair line to get you
Starting point is 00:08:37 some work to promote you to help promote my business and you are a low down dirty individuals like damn why is it and no reaction to that no yeah she's just she's trying to laugh it off like oh come on though porcia like we're tight though like come on come on and she gets further into it she's like can i break the fourth wall and i'm like hell yeah fourth wall break and she does and she's like you went and tried to schedule your own shoot for my company she's like you are an influencer you are paid by my company you don't schedule these things you went behind my back there you went behind my back with dennis i feel completely betrayed by you and again drew is not denying or trying to make it better she's like yeah but
Starting point is 00:09:25 it's like on what planet do you think that because you're that'd be like you and i scheduling a photo shoot for like bubbly or something random without telling them and being like hey we did this guys it's like no you don't do that they tell you what they want so her trying to defend from start to finish like she was probably in about a half a foot hole when this started she has dug this hole about 20 feet deep by trying to deny yeah and she's making life a lot worse for people like dennis and again if this isn't true if they're not actually having sex then you just put dennis in a world of hurt yeah because you're not actually addressing it the way that you should be by just he doesn't help the situation later either by the way so like let's not put
Starting point is 00:10:13 all the emphasis on Drew. He doesn't sound like, yeah, right? It probably happens. Like, let's just get into that. And the two things that came from all of this, obviously the fourth wall break is incredible. That producer was so excited to be like, break. Hell yeah. Break it.
Starting point is 00:10:25 Hell yeah. Break that shit. Let's see. What are you going to do? Like, obviously a good producer is going to know exactly what Porsche is going to say in that instance, too. But I'm happy at least that Drew didn't do the, because we've seen a lot of divorces on these shows.
Starting point is 00:10:39 She didn't do the ultimate cop out, like, I am going through. through so much in my divorce. My ex-husband lives in my basement and I have to hear him breathing and snoring all the time and I have to send my daughter down there to go hang out with her daddy and he can't come up here. He's in my fridge all the time, ransack in my fridge, eating all my good snacks and then he goes or scurries back off down there. The one saving grace I have is Dennis and yes, we had sex, but I'm going through a tough
Starting point is 00:11:04 time. She didn't do that because I kind of expected her to do that. But maybe she can. You know what would have worked? Wait, wait, wait, wait, that would have worked better. than what we just saw absolutely what we just saw was horrible so that would have been better than that no it's still not the best thing but the funniest part is how it ends because Drew's like I don't even know why she's mad is it because of Dennis is it because of the go naked campaign it's like could it be both drew could it could you have fucked up twice and now she's upset with you for multiple reasons because what else have you done there's probably some secret third thing out there too that we sure there is like double secret probation like it's just hysterical that at the end of the end of all of that. It's like,
Starting point is 00:11:44 what she, I don't even know what you're mad about. Is it this, isn't that? It's like, it wasn't 80 things. It was two. She's mad about both,
Starting point is 00:11:51 but whatever. We get to Shimea, who is just sharing more about her story. Like there, oh, wait, no, we'll just skip that one. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:12:03 But the party ends. We get a little bubble pool party. Everyone jumps in the water at the end of the party. Would you jump? I guess that depends. drunk you are i could get you to jump you're dipsy i would definitely jump yeah thousand percent although i don't know i was surprised as many people jumped as they did because they're all wearing like designer brands and stuff can i be honest with you yeah go ahead
Starting point is 00:12:27 anytime i see these scenes in any like movie or tv show especially reality tv where it's real and like everyone jumps in i get so scared that someone's going to drown because there's bubbles you can't see there's a lot of people people have been drinking that's where my head goes not oof fun, bubbles. I'm like, oh, God, make sure that everyone's okay. It makes me think of that, uh, that club down in Philly that used to have a preteen night.
Starting point is 00:12:52 Oh, uh, shampoo. Shampoo. Shampoo. Holy shit. Yeah. How about that place? There's no way that place exists anymore. That's creepy as shit that we used to go there. Preteen night. Uh, yeah. They were asking
Starting point is 00:13:08 for trouble. Um, did you catch the, uh, the guy who was shooting all the foam out there did you see what it said on the side no what did it say foam daddy foam daddy hell yeah yeah i got really excited about foam daddy yeah i'm kind of upset that i missed i must have been writing something down i would normally pick up on that but let's keep trucking we get angela with charles oakley i'm so i'm still so excited that charles oakley's on this show me too like it's so fucking funny but you know he cooks he cleans he's like a dream come true according to her they have four kids uh i think some are step some are full blood is
Starting point is 00:13:47 yeah i was going through all of the uh the way she described that there's one i think they have one child together and then i think that charles has a son well he has one he has charles right he has two with not charles got it okay yeah i was confused as hell i went through that scene twice well she explained it confusingly yes Yeah, I know, but they also didn't do us any favors because they had a picture, the family picture. They were jumping around, and I didn't like that either, just kind of go in the line. It was very confusing. But to sum it up, they have four children together, and they met 10 years before they started dating, and then they didn't talk for 10 years, and then randomly ended up in the same apartment complex together.
Starting point is 00:14:32 They linked back up, and the rest is history. But Angela, I love this shit. Like, I love this cast. They seem very, very successful. They, they like to get into the drama. They're self-made. You know, she has her own financial consulting company. Self-made millionaire owns multiple real estate properties.
Starting point is 00:14:51 Doesn't need to rely on anybody else but herself. Like, I love that. And the funniest part is she's talking about that. And she dropped the cullen in line about, um, Shamea's husband buying her a car. Oh, yeah. Yeah. He's like banging plates.
Starting point is 00:15:05 He's like, nope. Absolutely. I mean, first off, I was a little. distracted too because he was making so much food i know it looks so much food when he scooped in to grab that cornbread out i'm like oh my mouth is still watering i can smell it still so hungry actually but then he walks out and goes to the grill and he's got like 40 pieces of chicken out there or i don't even know if it was turkey burgers or chicken i couldn't even tell i don't know man doesn't matter it looked great and i was a little confused because i wasn't paying attention because i got excited
Starting point is 00:15:33 about the food so again i had to go back if you were with me watching this you would have gone mad because I did have to go back like multiple times. So just how I watch it every time because I have to write all this shit down. I got a taste of your medicine. All right. Yeah, welcome to my life. Yeah, it was a good time. But I do love their dynamic.
Starting point is 00:15:49 I like that this is because it just seems so real. And I love that you point out that like on this cast, I like how diversified it is with their careers. They're all kind of doing something different. We've got waffles over here, the Waffle Empire. We've got financial consultancy. We've got a beautiful, beautiful house that Shemia. which you know let's just keep going back there until we see every square foot of that
Starting point is 00:16:10 house because i want to see more i know there's like two or three other rooms in there that are cool as hell that we haven't seen yet and i want to check them out that's what i want to do i cannot wait until we get to brittany though with hers oh yeah yeah i'm excited too i'm excited i know exactly what you're talking about i know what you're talking about and charles chimes in and he's like you can go do some work with your ex like i don't give a shit like why are you so bad out of shape about this why is this a problem and i he clearly doesn't know a whole lot about the housewives because he's like you need to mind your own business stop getting involved with them like no charles i appreciate it but like we kind of need her to get involved in the business
Starting point is 00:16:45 but he's like that's not that's not worth your time it's like no you're correct in how these scenes work it's so that we're reminded of what's going on and where everybody stands we need these one-on-one scenes we need the scenes where you're not actually near another housewife you're just kind of decompressing and telling your whole family about it that's what we need and it's solely for the audience so that we understand where everybody lines up and charles is like why are we what do you talking about. Shut up. But get out of here.

But then we get the sit down between two of the heavy, hitters you got kenya and portia and porcia admittedly is like you know it's a love hate relationship and obviously they've gone back and forth for their careers on real housewives of atlanta but portia claims after we had kids it felt a little bit different like who's got time to fight anymore which is a good sentiment it's nice to see these do sit down but they immediately get into the drew stuff and can yeah before we get into the drew stuff they both pull up in rolls
Starting point is 00:19:30 Royces. Yes, they do. Did you catch the, uh, the producers, what they put at the bottom? They did something interior. I didn't dev point. No, not the tangerine interior. Okay. No. So when Kenya pulled up in hers, it said purchased by Kenya in 22. Oh. When Porsche pulls up in hers, it was purchased by Simon for her in 22. Damn. That's, that's dirty. I liked it. Yeah, that's funny, but it's a little dirty. But as we know, Kenya met with Drew last week and they discussed Dennis and the music and everything and Porsche does say
Starting point is 00:20:05 because Kenny's like when did he get involved in music she's like well he did actually produce an album for my kid or children's album or something like that A very very long time ago is when he's his passion. It's his passion. He's been doing it for like a year or two. He's asking this. He's very into it. He watched a YouTube video.
Starting point is 00:20:23 He's excited to try it out. He bought a mixing board. It's all fun. It gets confusing for me now. Because originally I'm like, all right, she never called to get her blessing and she never talked to Portia about this. But this scene makes it seem otherwise because, again, Kenney is like, Drew claims that she got your permission to do this and or your blessing to do this. Portia doesn't respond. She just kind of keeps going. And she's like, yeah, well, I'm upset about the fact that she went a step further and is asking producers if she can film with them, if she can have scenes with them.
Starting point is 00:20:57 I'm like, that's where my biggest issue lies. But she never addressed that did she or did she not get her blessing? Earlier, I was like, she didn't. Now I'm like, did she call? Have you talked about this? I don't know if it was that necessarily or if they had like a one-off conversation that Porsche didn't really register. It could have been that like, hey, we might be working together.
Starting point is 00:21:17 And I don't know if this came from Dennis or if it came from Drew. We're not going to ever find that out. No, we don't know it's not from Dennis. I know that because later on, Dennis says, he was like, I didn't think. I had to say anything. Yeah. But like immediately the lies just start to completely start revolving around everything that Drew is saying because Drew made this whole thing up about I went
Starting point is 00:21:39 through this person to this person. I talked to Portia. Now Kenyon knows Dennis has told Porsche directly, but now we're finding out that maybe Drew talked to Porsche at some point. So like what the fuck actually happened? I have no idea. But when it comes to Drew, there's going to be a lot of lies around probably the most innocuous thing ever or the biggest thing ever.
Starting point is 00:21:58 We're never really sure until it all blows up. So we're just going to have to keep an eye on that one. So I didn't know either. And I think it was more clear to me that Portia was upset about the filming aspect more than anything else. So she wasn't even going off about a potential relationship between them. Like, yeah, they can talk about it. But it didn't seem like that hurt her that much.
Starting point is 00:22:18 She definitely cares a little bit. But I don't think. But it's way more about this filming. And obviously we find out more about that towards the end. but there's way more to be said about her worried about Dennis being on the show with Drew in that kind of capacity. Like, it's a bad look for her. And I think that that's what she's upset about.
Starting point is 00:22:37 It made a lot more sense when she explains it at the kid's zone thing. Then I was like, okay, I get where you're coming from. But they get into Simon and they start discussing that whole thing. And Portia reiterates, you know, there's a whole lot that I didn't know. and she recaps there was a day there on a private jet and then the police surrounded the plane and then Simon is claiming well one time I was in a car and it turns out the car was stolen I didn't know it was stolen it's now they're suspicious of me so they keep harassing me it's all very confusing it's like especially I hope we get more information about like what happened
Starting point is 00:23:13 and how Porsche found out about Simon even more clear like every episode because last episode it was yeah we're going to the airport and for whatever reason we were always in this weird long line and he just said yeah it's because uh i'm i'm i'm an immigrant and i you know my green card's got some issues here in there so we got to go through this line to get through everything and she's like oh okay that's kind of weird now there's a lot of police showing up at the airport like you're right i mean it keeps getting more and more convoluted and i'm curious what's going to continue to come out because they go even further and they're talking about can you ask how many times he's been married it's like four right she's like no five there was a secret
Starting point is 00:23:51 fake wedding what the fuck is that that's all there's four confirmed one that's what we saw in southern hospitality with joe and mattie okay so they did that did they use elvis as well probably yeah i think you have to yeah that's interesting but her whole reason for kind of falling for this guy unfortunately is quote unquote how honest he appeared to be it's like oh oh that's how ironic tough that's pretty pretty tough but we move on from there and we get kelly at her new location for nana's waffles it's her and lamont who is a partner or publicist publicist lamont's the publicist and then the other gentleman that arrives is the project manager which this scene was produced right incredibly produced this scene was almost like full on cue cards i thought yeah i i think
Starting point is 00:24:48 that uh her partner or i don't even know what what was that guy's official title you said it no not leban lamop's the publicist i'm talking about the guy who came in the other guy he's the project manager project manager yeah he was reading cue cards before he walked in and they sent him in like all right now go go go go are you ready get in there go get him go get that's what i thought because they're talking about the logistics of everything and it just seemed like a movie because it's like dude that you told me to let you know we're in a month it's and they don't have it in a month kitchen build out's not done that You can't open if the kitchen's not ready, obviously.
Starting point is 00:25:23 There's like three or four other things that are going on with this place. Like you need to renovate, he said. It's like, what? You guys haven't renovated? You're opening up in a month. None of this makes sense to me. Whoever the previous resident was there just moved out that day. That's what it looked like.
Starting point is 00:25:39 Left all the lights off so that it looked a little bit, like whatever. It was dirty. It was dusty. There was shit everywhere. There was nothing in the kitchen at all. There was not even any construction equipment in there. Yeah, no. That was so funny, though.
Starting point is 00:25:52 But it just goes to show you, like, Kelly's walking around so happy about this, talking about how excited she is to open her new location. We're like, yeah, all right, that's cool. It's going to be great. I love waffles. It's opening in a month. It's not opening in a month, Kel. There's nothing you can do about this one.
Starting point is 00:26:08 So her demeanor the entire time and the fact that the project manager walks in, it goes, yeah, absolutely not. I'm telling you right now, this is not going to work. I'm talking to your publicist. This is not going to work. We're going to get it done. We're going to get it. done we're gonna get it done tell me what we have to do you told me i am the project manager you
Starting point is 00:26:27 told me to let you know when we're in jeopardy we are in jeopardy yeah we're gonna get it done yeah like that was that was literally the vibe and like no you're not it's just physically not possible to get all this done in one month no i get what you're trying to do like you're trying to have this raw raw scene where it's like watch what i put together in a month but it just seemed very, very overly produced to me. Yeah, it's going to turn into one of those like, I'm sure, what was it supposed to open July, July 7th or
Starting point is 00:26:55 whatever for whatever reason. I remember that? It probably opened yeah, around September and I'm sure, and I don't even have to look at Instagram, I'm sure this is what happened. She posted a grand opening for that location and there's a very long paragraph that I will never read. And it's all about how many trials and
Starting point is 00:27:11 tribulations there were along the road and how it was supposed to open in July, but something happened. We just saw what happened it wasn't ready you haven't done anything to it yeah but i i know that exists and i hope because again i will not be looking this up but our listeners if you guys want to go check and see if i'm right let us know because i'm not i'm not taking a peek at that one yeah please and you know we should probably take a peek since we're going to invest at some point in nana's waffles we're going to help build this uh i don't know if i'm going to invest anymore oh because the location
Starting point is 00:27:43 wasn't ready now i'm going to wait for numbies it's all about nubbies for me at the end of day it's a nubbies game yeah and that's serious people waffles are recession proof okay that's what i are so they are it's a it's a win win we're just going to put all of our eggs in the nana's waffles basket but and then we get to brittany and mike who was at one point a client of hers and like this is my point see now we're getting the details on everybody where last week we forego for went for gone four went for clothes just said way too many things yeah i knew you were going to add to it um yeah look i mean she may can't help it she can't change her birthday what did she go i don't want here's birthday i think they should do that with every season especially if it's like a
Starting point is 00:28:27 shake-up season because it gets you excited instead of going through like the see how everybody operates within yeah before you see them on their own right and then you get to like again it's it gives you things to look forward to instead of this is my husband these are my kids this is where i live it's like we want to know that stuff but i want to know it along the way i don't want to pile it all into one episode. So I'm glad they did that way. This was a weird ass scene, though. This was a little strange. I didn't like this scene. This was a little strange. Yeah. And you know, let's talk about her career for a second. Hold on. Let's just do this. I got to get this off my chance immediately.
Starting point is 00:29:01 She owns an insurance agency. Yes. As soon as I see those Instagram posts with like stacks of money and like a a link at the bottom, I'm thinking MLM. I'm thinking full on pyramid scheme. I'm thinking all of those things. And maybe it is, maybe it isn't. We've had Housewives and Pyramid schemes before. Look at Whitney Rose. What's an insurance pyramid scheme? You get insurance salesmen and they work on commissions.
Starting point is 00:29:28 It's the same thing. It doesn't matter what the product is. Yeah, but it's insurance. So? So there's a tangible product. What would you rather have insurance or really good knives and let me show you how they cut through everything at your front door? I don't think that's the same thing.
Starting point is 00:29:44 It is. Insurance schemes or pyramid schemes. I understand what you. you're saying thank you so much i'm saying with insurance if you the only way that's a pyramid scheme is if you get denied your claim every single time well you're talking about the customer i'm talking about like you hire people underneath of you to work for you that make missions business but they're really just it's a commission based okay so yeah it all roots back to just her little instagram stories where i'm like eh new i don't know
Starting point is 00:30:17 I don't know. Her house isn't bad. But I got a bad vibe from this entire scene. Her husband seems like a dick. He seems checked out. He wasn't. I'm not going outside. It's hot out there.
Starting point is 00:30:28 If I had to hear him say allegedly one more time to having a kid this year. Yeah, bro. Have a love of your wife. Where's your wife's wedding bands, buddy? The funniest part is she's like, you know, Mike really wants to have a girl. I'm like, does he? Does he even want to have a child? I don't think he's saying he wants a child.
Starting point is 00:30:45 But he said allegedly, mom. Mom says, oh, no, absolutely. She wants that grandbaby, but he seems kind of checked out, not into the whole idea of everything. He seems thrilled that his in-law is living with him. That's, yeah, dude. The whole situation is interesting because mom is, mom's moving in when they have the baby, but they want to give her a nice room, but should we wait until we get the next house or should we do this house as far as the baby goes?
Starting point is 00:31:13 And he's like, why do you always have to plan? She's like, because I'm an adult. and we have to plan things especially we want to have a kid you can't just throw a kid against the wall and hope it sticks verbatim's what she says this whole fucking scene went downhill immediately when she's like and we're finally you're going to get me my dream house and he's not even looking at her like oh no this is not good at all i don't like what everything's going on here i do however like when we can get a vibe about one of the husbands very quickly i agree with that we have a terrible track record of trusting people for a little while and then they do something stupid so yep better to get it out now if we don't like mike we can just say we don't like mike seems kind of like an asshole i don't really like them that we've never tried that let's do it yeah that's fun that's fun but we also find out that mike has a 15 year old son
Starting point is 00:32:04 so they already have a kid involved we'll see if they have another kid i think he needs to want to have the kid first but i think what this scene told me is that brittany is trying to put on a little bit of a facade, not a facade, but she's really trying to promote her image here to make it, like, this is what you're going to get from me. I got the big insurance agency. My husband and I are having a kid. We're moving into another house. The same thing that Kelly did. It's the exact same thing Kelly did in the scene right before it. It's this big bubbly personality. Look at me. I set myself up. I did this with my, you know, I built my career from the ground up, started from nothing. Here I am. I've got waffles. I've got insurance. Now waffles and insurance, that sounds like a good business. I'm involved in that. You're insuring waffles? No, I'm saying if I'm sitting down and eating waffles, you can sell me whatever the hell you want. I'm the happiest.
Starting point is 00:32:54 Oh, I see what you're saying. Yeah, sit down and sell me whatever. I'll take insurance. I'll take a life policy out right now. Just give me some waffles. Joint venture. Just have the insurance agency inside of Nana's waffles. You come in, you sign up for insurance, you get a free stack of waffles.
Starting point is 00:33:09 Yes. Now the difference between these two scenes is Mike didn't get cue cards because he did not care. at all. And mom didn't get Q cards either. It was just, it was just Brittany running around just trying to create this whole world of Brittany. And everybody's going to love it. It's like, I don't really like your husband that much. Brittany, I'm not sold on Brittany yet. I like Kelly. I like Kelly. I like everybody else. Brittany is my question mark currently. We'll see if she can. But, you know, she's new. We like to give people time. But we move on from there and we get Shumia. And I actually really enjoyed this, not enjoyed, but I thought this was a really good scene. Because you get her with
Starting point is 00:33:46 Shadena, who is her surrogate, who is also candy surrogate from before. And when she was 32 weeks pregnant, she was diagnosed with an aggressive form of breast cancer. So there is so many layers to this scene. And it was pretty wild to listen to them, discuss it. And both of them are concerned that they affected the other person. Because Shami is concerned that the pregnancy might have led to the cancer, or might have accelerated the cancer and shadina is concerned that Shiloh's health problems
Starting point is 00:34:24 are related to the fact that she had cancer during the pregnancy both of them feel bad for their role in this whole thing which is actually a good thing because both of them are like I'm so sorry and they're like oh my god it's not your fault and vice versa and I think they both probably needed to hear that on some level just to get better about the situation because I mean it's terrifying right like she's diagnosed with cancer your daughter has all these health issues you're both dealing with all these things you both feel guilty for it neither of you should feel guilty for it and they're just trying to figure out not even figure anything out it just feels like they're trying to get back to just some kind of normalcy now that yeah it sounds like she is cancer free i don't think
Starting point is 00:35:05 they flat out said that but she's they didn't flat out say it no but i i really like the scene just because it was just it was so much like respect and admiration yeah around to each other And it was just two women who know each other who really just wanted to talk everything through. And they both felt like the other person would have had this like crippling anxiety. Like what did I do wrong? And you can go through that whole thing. And it was just so nice to see because one, they decided to share this on camera, which neither of them had to do. And they decided to just have it out in the open and discuss the entire thing.
Starting point is 00:35:36 And I felt like they went about it the right way. They were able to talk about it the right way and make sure that each of them realized like, hey, we're good. We're in this together. nothing that you did affected me, nothing I did affected you, let's just leave it at that. And I felt like we walked away from that scene like, holy shit, what did we just see?
Starting point is 00:35:52 Because that is such a crazy situation to ever be in that I've never even thought of. No. I'm sure that most people probably haven't even thought about something like that. So to see that actually play out on a show like this in the way that it did, I thought was powerful.
Starting point is 00:36:07 I did too. And, you know, she may takes it a step further and discusses her previous pregnancy where she had an ectopic pregnancy, which is very, very high risk and ended up going south, unfortunately. And she explains this whole situation about, you know, she lost her child. She got to the hospital and, like, blood just came out because the court ended up exploding.
Starting point is 00:36:29 Her bursting is a more accurate term. And, you know, that's a horrifying thing. It's something that a lot of people, unfortunately, have had to deal with as well. So we always like to highlight these moments because anytime that your viewers can relate to something like this, where they feel seen or they just feel like they have other people going through similar situations to kind of ease the pain a little bit. I thought that Shemia did a great job discussing it. And she addresses something that is a very real thing.
Starting point is 00:36:57 And that's the high mortality rates in black women having kids. It is a real thing. And she says, you know, they're never taken seriously. And we're supposed to go and find a doctor that, quote, unquote, looks like you. But not everybody has that option. and sometimes emergencies happen and you have to go to the ER and things go from there. So the fact that she highlighted that as well,
Starting point is 00:37:18 I thought was amazing. That is a real thing. You can look up the numbers. And Shamiya in two episodes has really made her presence known in a good way. Like she was fun and got the group together in week one. She's going to be the center of attention. And she gets along with pretty much everybody. She's going to try to keep the peace this season is what it seems like.
Starting point is 00:37:38 In this episode, you have her diving deep. and it resonates at work she's not overplaying it she's not overselling it she's to me it seemed completely genuine and for our central character on this cast on any cast you need that level of genuineness so you can connect with them and i thought she did a great job yeah no i thought she did an incredible job and i think there's a lot of people out there that are still a little cautious when it comes to shimea being the center of attention on this show and she's getting more she's getting more hype she is definitely getting a little bit more hype than she got last episode i think We're still trying to figure out the Kenya situation.
Starting point is 00:38:13 But this is going to happen anytime that you have a shakeup with a cast. You get somebody that kind of gets vaulted right into the middle of everything. I think that where she is with her group dynamics, what she's able to share for her life, for her personal story, and what she's able to bring to the rest of the group that puts her in such a good position. I hope she can maintain it because she's doing such a good job right now. And I know that in the next scene we see like Drew kind of questioning her allegiances and what she's going to do when it comes to Porsche, whatever. I don't care. That's just Drew. The rest of it is you can use your own eyes. I think that she's doing a great, great job.

Starting point is 00:40:06 and Brittany is planning a little celebration because her and Mike got married during COVID via Zoom. So they want to have just, you know, something for for their friends, something small. I thought we were getting another dog wedding for a second for like a split. No dog. They were talking about the dogs. And I don't know what the hell is going on with Britney's dog. I did not care for that.
Starting point is 00:40:26 But I honestly didn't even know that that was a thing. I didn't hear that. I must have been writing things down. What happened with the dog? It wasn't just the way that she had that dog styled. It was one of those little mini-cule things. like all the dyes and yeah no nope nope nope don't do that um i thought we were getting a dog wedding because they just kept talking about their dogs and then brittney slips in yeah you know we're setting
Starting point is 00:40:48 up the wedding this is going to be so much fun i'm like oh dog wedding hell yeah dog wedding take two yep dog wedding take two nope not going to do no no dog wedding this real wedding real well not not even a real wedding do this are we sure mike wants to do this but depends on who you ask if you ask brittany yes if you ask mike probably not i think it is a little weird that we get the call out from Kenya in the first episode Where's your wedding band? And now Brittany is having a wedding ceremony?
Starting point is 00:41:17 Oh, interesting. Is Kenya on the nose? Was Kenya right? That's an interesting point. Is this an alleged marriage? Oh, God. Is this a Simon fake marriage? Oh, it might be a Simon fake marriage.
Starting point is 00:41:28 We are getting a lot of weird marriage not. Yeah, I know, right? Something weird's going on here. This might be a fake marriage. Well, Mercury is in retrograde, I think. So maybe that's what's going on. Yeah. yep so there you go that always matters my mom always text the family group chat mercury's
Starting point is 00:41:46 and retrograde everybody be oh be careful out there thanks mom appreciate you but they start talking about portion drew from the other night and cynthia had gone up to the two of them at one point it was like you girls are trying to start some drama and they both deny it and kelly denies it look i like that kelly came out of the gate with the question like why did you try to steal her man but you can't then be like who's trying to start drama i just see the answer to the question it's like the question itself is inherently causing drama you could at least agree to that and just say yeah i just wanted to know she's like no i just had a question it's like no it's a pretty heavy question it's it's a pretty toxic heavy question yeah look do we all want to know yeah you're
Starting point is 00:42:31 right yes of course and we're so we like people who start drama by the way yes just lean into it we glad you ask the question, but if this is going to be your role, which it appears to be, because you're not backing down, which I also appreciate, lean into it. Be that person. That'd be great. But they bring up Kenya asking about the wedding band, as you alluded to earlier. And she goes, why don't you worry about your own man? So I'm like, all right, so we have two newbies facing off against two of the OGs, which could make for great TV. I wish that Kenya was more involved just so we could like if this goes she gets involved in a certain way
Starting point is 00:43:09 well yeah too is this the start of it probably this is probably the start of it isn't it yeah yeah maybe so but so is it Brittany that she maybe it's Britney she flames I'm not sure I thought it was Kelly I thought it was Kelly too but Britney's the one saying worry about your own
Starting point is 00:43:27 I don't know it appears that the newbies are going to stick together and maybe they're going to cause a bunch of shit this season which would be interesting to see but Kelly discusses her divorce a little bit more. And, you know, she says there was cheating. Come to find out, he took $500,000 out of the company account. That's a lot of money to be taking out of a company. It was Brittany, by the way. I just looked it up real quick. It was Brittany. So it's, that makes more sense. So here's where it starts. This is the lead in. This is definitely where it starts. Okay. That makes a lot more sense. Yeah,
Starting point is 00:44:00 I like that she, she was on what? She was on a girl's trip to Cancun. Yes. And her ex just decided, hey, I'm just going to take all this money out. Go ahead. I want to know what he did with it. What was he up to? I don't know. 500 grand is an insane amount of money to just like skirt out of an account real quick. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:44:18 I'm like, is he in jail? That sounds like embezzlement. That's what it sounds like. She says she filed a lawsuit, but didn't have any information after that. Maybe we'll find out more during the season. I'm not really sure. This keeps happening where like I want more. I need to know more information and they just stop talking about it.
Starting point is 00:44:34 Yeah. It happened like four times this episode. I don't know what the hell's going on. Maybe they're saving content. I don't know, which would not be great either because if you need to save things for later, it means there's not enough to talk about that road. So hopefully we get some answers to it sooner than later.
Starting point is 00:44:48 But let's get to Drew and Angela having a little workout with Sanchez is their trainer's name. And we find out Drew and Angela been friends for about three years. And we get into the party and the dentist debacle. And the question from, I like Angela's line of questioning, because you can tell she's friends, but at the same time, she's like, this is a little weird, man. Like, what the fuck's going on between you two? And she asks the same thing that Portia asked, why Dennis? This is the only answer that Drew gave that I'm like, okay, fine.
Starting point is 00:45:24 Because she's like, I've worked with all the legends. I've been signed by multiple record companies, which she has. None of them have gotten me where I wanted to go. So I decided to take a different route. I'm like, fair. fine i don't believe that's the only reason you did this rehearsed fine fine yeah i'll take it that was a decent response and she's like you know she said no and angel's like she did say no to you she said no at the party she didn't want you to do that she's like yeah but she didn't tell
Starting point is 00:45:54 me she accused me and she yelled at me it's like yeah so what can you infer from that she's upset about this to the point that she's yelling at you at a party maybe that's your sign instead of a cordial conversation at some point where she's like, hey, I know I made a scene back there because I'm really upset about this. But here's me coming to you calmly. That's not going to happen. She made her feelings very known. And Drew's still trying to sidestep it.
Starting point is 00:46:22 Yeah, you're still trying to sidestep it. And again, you're just creating more questions for the rest of the women in the group who, by the way, right now, all believe that you're boinking him. They all think that. So do we. They've all said it. We all think so based off of your performance, if you will, back at Shamia's. So you're still not doing anything to quell those fears that we all have.
Starting point is 00:46:42 Like, oh, God, here we go. This is going to happen again. Drew's going to get herself in the hot water. We've got Ralph in the basement. She's Boykin Dennis over here. This is all going to blow up at some point. And you're doing nothing. You're not even like lying in a good way.
Starting point is 00:46:55 If you're Drew and you are known for lying and you've lied for a long time, wouldn't you be better at it? Like, what the hell's going on? You're just deflecting. She's like is she afraid to lie right now because she doesn't want to get caught in a lie so she's just deflecting no I feel like the more you deflect just come out right now and say it just like no there's no romanticism at all that's all you have to say I feel like with her she gets to a point where she believes her lies like she believes what she's saying to be true so it kind of like flips her reality so when she's trying to put the pieces together in a conversation it's like yeah well no this did happen it's like did it though or is that how you remember it or is that what you want to wanted to happen. But as they're going back and forth, you know, she starts to get upset because she brings up the Ralph thing. She's like, look, it's been an absolute war, which I believe it has, but there's no way
Starting point is 00:47:46 that it hasn't been an absolute shit show with this idiot. And her whole thing is like, I wanted to do this for my music career to keep me and the kids above water because I want to make money, which that I believe. It's like, okay, fine. If the kids are involved, like, yeah, you're trying to do your thing, you're getting divorced. It's going to be messy because Ralph is a man-child, which is even further proven. Ralph is supposed to be this businessman, right? He talks about being a businessman.
Starting point is 00:48:13 He holds himself to this high regard. We have no indication of money that he's made or companies that he owns or what he does, really. But he's always claimed to have money and have these businesses that he works on. And yet, he's asking Drew for alimony, for a percentage of a business, and for child support. what do you do ralph what we had this question last year before the divorce was involved what the fuck does ralph do because we don't think he does anything we know the answer to that this is further proof you legitimately legitimately are a grown man living in a basement of somebody else's place because you don't have money and you're trying to get your wife your ex wife to pay for
Starting point is 00:48:57 your whole life after claiming once again that you are this super sad heavy businessman. Well, by the way, he's going to fail miserably, too, based off of what we know from the apparent text application that the judge could read and a judge made you go live in your own basement, you're losing. You are losing in a very big way. So I don't need to hear that you're suing for alimony and child support and all these other things. You're not going to get it.
Starting point is 00:49:23 You're going to fail miserably. It's going to be so funny when that news comes out to based off what we've seen over the last couple of seasons from Ralph, too. So, yeah, keep living in that. basement buddy that's the best you're going to get yeah go get a job you dead beat like why are you trying to get your wife to pay he doesn't have a job anymore because he's not married to drew anymore that was the only thing do in the last like three years was produced that movie that she was in otherwise he's the shit i we haven't seen him do anything so no and this is just further proof
Starting point is 00:49:52 that he has nothing to give he i hate ralph he's fucking brutal so i'm glad that he's getting his come up and's here and i hope he gets nothing from this divorce but they start talking about the music stuff again. How many songs would you have to have in your library to have 30 records done? Not 30 songs. 30 records implying albums implying at least, at least eight songs. 30? I don't think that's right. I think records is one song. Is that record? Record of the year for the Grammys is one song, yeah. Is it? Album. No, it's not. yeah if you're calling them records it's probably like one song i don't i don't know how to google that that only because the only reason is because shemia said what are you going to do are you like
Starting point is 00:50:41 releasing an ap are you doing this or that and she's like well i've got about 30 records in my library right now so she's no she's not what do you think she's doing 240 songs with dennis no i think she's lying about the amount of songs that she has that's what i know records is records is standard industry called a record. No, a record is the final tangible product. I think you're wrong. No. I'm just talking.
Starting point is 00:51:10 I'm not wrong. You're not in the industry. Record of the year. Grammys. Record of the year is an album, bro. That would be an album of the year. No, no, no. This is, you're wrong. I'm not wrong. You're wrong in the sense
Starting point is 00:51:25 I know that Drew lies about things, but you thinking that she's lying, that she has like over 200 songs sitting around that she's done with Dennis is very funny if she's done 200 songs with Dennis and people are just now finding out of I guess if it's a single you can classify it as a record mm-hmm record of the year baby whatever that's fucking stupid I don't agree I don't care if I just saw it as stupid that doesn't make any sense to me and I thought that she was just that's let's say that you are correct that's what happens that's what happens that when you're dealing with a liar you
Starting point is 00:51:58 immediately think oh she's got to be lying about this yes that's a really good point because that's where my head went is like wow you have 30 records done so okay that's let's blame true i like that that's better but during their conversation shimea arrives at some point and angela points the questions at her and says why did you ask if she's fucking dennis you just flat out blurted that out she said i didn't say i didn't say fucking and she's like yeah but why did you do that when you're supposed to be Drew's friend and now you're being Portia's mouthpiece. So we already have people accusing
Starting point is 00:52:33 other people speaking for other people, which we love because that's going to lead to some shit. And she's like, they just cross talk back and forth. I didn't really hear what they were saying. And she's like, yeah, you're being Porsche's assistant. And she's like, I'm not being her assistant. I wanted to know. It's like, hmm,
Starting point is 00:52:47 I don't know. It sounds that you're being Porsche's assistant a little bit. And then Drew decides to take it eight steps further in a confessional. And I forgot that she does this. It's like the conversation doesn't seem that heavy. And then you get special and she's like, if you look up lap dog in the dictionary, I'm like, damn, I don't think it was that deep.
Starting point is 00:53:09 No, I don't think it was that deep at all. You're on a TV show where you're going to talk about these things. Shemia heard about it. She was the person of interest, if you will. It was her birthday party. Of course, she's going to take it under her own wing to go over there and bring it up. She did it a little aggressively, and it was out of nowhere. but no matter what happened
Starting point is 00:53:27 I don't I have no doubt in my mind that Drew still would have had this reaction a couple days later even if she started off softly like what's going on with you in Dennis or seems like you're working with Dennis a lot what's going on there like you could have voiced that in so many different ways coming from Shimea and Drew would still have the same reaction a couple days later it doesn't matter I agree I agree that yeah that's a good point like she sits and stews on things and then they get bigger and bigger and they tried to make it worse by saying are you fucking Dennis when she didn't say that she said I think she said, are you dating? Are you guys dating?
Starting point is 00:53:57 Are you dating, Dennis? I think that, I think that's what she said. I'm pretty sure that's what she said. So, yeah, they tried to blow it up and make it worse than it actually was, but no. Man, that's how these shows work, man. But the last scene is Portia and Dennis. And I'm like, all right, Den, you got a chance to vindicate yourself, pal. Don't shoot yourself in the foot. Get through this conversation. Let's see how you do. And Portia does highlight that. they are very close through the co-parenting. They're doing a really good job of keeping a cordial between the two of them for their daughter, which also, Pilar is an awesome name. I love that name.
Starting point is 00:54:34 Yeah. But they've been good. So maybe that's another thing, too, as she's, you know, dealing with the fallout of her divorce. She's also, oh, my God, wait a minute. This is so much deeper. What, you think she wants to go back to Dennis? No, no, no. I don't think it's that level.
Starting point is 00:54:54 I think that what's going on here, Drew is going through a divorce. She's struggling, right? She's leaning on Dennis to get through this whole thing because she found her, quote, unquote, angel on earth. At the same time as Portia is trying to get through her divorce and her and Dennis are doing very well co-parenting, could she also be leading on Dennis a little bit trying to get through this divorce because there is some comfort there. So on top of all of this, of feeling betrayed by Drew that Drew, is going behind her back, is she also slightly jealous because
Starting point is 00:55:28 Drew is leaning on the same man that she's leaning on for support at the moment. That's actually a very good theory. I like it. I like that a lot. And I could tell too, by the way that Portia went through the scene was, first off, it started very funny because when she's
Starting point is 00:55:44 just using hyperbole to talk about how Drew talks about Dennis, she's like, yeah, she said you're like Jesus fucking Christ at this point. Like, yeah, yeah, that's pretty much what she's saying at this point. She's pretty much said that. we are we're going to have to blur that one out because we are going to get a lot of shit for saying that oh yeah we can't look anyone that listens to us if you get upset about jc's or gd's i did it there just know it's not intentional i'm not trying to insult you yeah no and i was also kind of quoting
Starting point is 00:56:13 paraphrasing i think i think that was a direct quote i think it was a direct quote as well but it's still very funny to see her go through all of this and yeah i think you are onto something I think that she does feel some type of way about the fact that Drew is leaning on Dennis who she also has a seemingly very good co-parenting relationship with looks like he's a great dad and Dennis
Starting point is 00:56:33 come on man brutal brutal performance brutal performance he could have he could have he just decided not to address it's the same thing as Drew like what the hell why has nobody addressing us the way he addresses
Starting point is 00:56:47 it was worse because he's like he's like look Drew's divorcing my boy you've got 16 marriages on TV and like we're both hurting I'm like oh no no no what do you mean don't talk about juice feelings right now don't do not talk about juice feelings right now he's like we're both hurting so we're both you're also friends with ralph so why are you talking well he called ralph he called ralph it's cool ralph's fine but i didn't have to call you boy i didn't think you
Starting point is 00:57:15 i would never touch drew it's like okay that's you know that's what anybody would say everybody he says that yeah yeah that's what everybody would say in this situation but instead you talk about true's feelings and how you both found some comfort in each other that doesn't sound innocuous to me and then you take it a step further by saying Drew was supposed to talk to you I didn't think I had to talk to you it's like why would you think you don't need to talk to her if this is going on and it's somebody that she's filming with and you're co-parenting your child together it just seems like something that should come up from the dad of the kid i mean drew oh we talk about as well the more we talk about it the shadier it gets
Starting point is 00:57:56 that's what i'm saying we're getting we're getting more we're not really getting any more actual like tangible information we're just getting more shadiness and more deflection and more like yeah you know i would never do something like that but okay tell me right now that you would never do it well i can't do that because ral's my boy like exactly what what are you talking about why are we talking about ralph right now you're speaking out of both sides of your mouth and then the one thing that she's really adamant about she doesn't care I mean she does clearly
Starting point is 00:58:26 a little bit if you guys are boinking but at the same time she's like I could let that slide her big issue is the filming once again and I was trying to put together I'm like I wonder why she's so against it like yeah it would be kind of weird if she's filming with her it makes total sense
Starting point is 00:58:42 when she goes to the bathroom because she starts crying doesn't want to let Dennis see her cry she doesn't he doesn't deserve her tears, which I agree. And she goes to the bathroom to figure this thing out or just calm down a little bit. Impromptu confessional is what that was. That's exactly what it was. And it's an in real time confessional.
Starting point is 00:58:59 We don't get a lot of those. And she's like, let's say that something goes south in this co-parenting thing. Now he's going to use my own platform of being on this show and having cameras at the ready while filming with Drew to air out his dirty laundry against me. That's bullshit. I'm like, that is bullshit. I didn't think about that. That makes a whole lot of sense.
Starting point is 00:59:20 His big sticking point is we were going to use this to promo her album. It's like, no, no, don't do that. She's on a show. Like, she'll promo it herself. Thank you. That's it. You don't need to be part of it, right? Like, you don't need to be on screen.
Starting point is 00:59:36 If you are the manager and producer, whatever your role is, you can do that off the screen. Yeah. Like, how many album releases do you see or record? I don't even know what's what anymore. my whole world's upside down record album DVD if you have one of these releases I'm not looking for the manager on stage and I'm looking for the talent so Drew could promote this herself and have the same exact effect being on camera talking about her album record DVD sure about that you sure about that though as Dennis when Adriana was dropping her record in Miami what did you talk about the whole time well Emilio Uh-huh. It was different. The whole time.
Starting point is 01:00:19 It was just about radio. Emilio Estevez is not Dennis just picked this up a couple years. I produced a kid's album for Porsche. It's a passion, pal. I, you're going to say this all fucking season. I get it.
Starting point is 01:00:33 But Emilio Estefan. Uh-huh. Different. Not Emilio Estabez. No, not. Emilio is very different than Dennis. I don't know your last name. That's my point.
Starting point is 01:00:45 so I think that you're talking about a different pedigree of producer there pal no I agree with you honestly I feel the same way because it doesn't make any sense for Dennis to be filming those scenes first off hand up right now I will make fun of those scenes I will be upset that I have to watch those scenes because they are very forced and annoying Drew is going to do that to us on her own we don't need Dennis there it doesn't matter I already know what's going to happen so just let it happen you don't have to be part of that I agree I agree I agree agree, but the episode ends as they're driving off and more or less gives him an ultimatum. It's a do what you want to do, but what you do will mark how this goes. And he's like, what the fuck? What does that mean? Like, what are you talking about? She's like, I said exactly what I said. Do what you're going to do.
Starting point is 01:01:33 And whatever you do, meaning your actions will dictate my response. Yep. And that's fair. And I think that it's completely fair to ask him to not film with Drew. But something tells me that he's going to film with Drew. Yeah, I think it's going to happen. I don't think that I, yeah, we'll have to see how it goes. But let's get to some questions.
Starting point is 01:01:59 From Edirinda headlights, Adirinda headlights. Yeah, I remember we got to that one. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Is Drew sneaking, yeah, is Drew sneaking to film with Dennis because Ralph refused to film? Porsche's right, low down. I don't know if. drew asked ralph to film and i don't need to see ralph anymore uh yeah we don't need to see ralph let's like those scenes by the way it's not one of those scenes where it's like you want to see the drama
Starting point is 01:02:26 of what's going on in a relationship ralph is he's insufferable when he's on screen so like i'm good i'm good without those scenes i would rather her try to sneak in film with dennis yeah great from rye bread 1129 do you think portia is overreacting about the drew in a dentist situation. I think that it's deeper than just, you know, that. Yeah, go back and listen to Steele's theory on that because I actually like that one. I don't give him a prompt as much as I should. Wow.
Starting point is 01:02:57 That's so nice. That's one of the nicest things you've ever said. Makes it sound like you're dying. Yeah. I don't know why, but sure. What the fuck? No, it just seems like, it's one of those things where it's like, yeah, I don't give you props as much as I should. It's like, yeah, you might be dying.
Starting point is 01:03:14 Yeah, you should. by the way. I give you props. Yeah. Do you? I do. Yes. More than you.
Starting point is 01:03:21 You're mad about the record thing, but you're not mad at me about it. You're not mad at me. You're mad at your dad. You're going to hate my father. What was the score of the game last night? Who cares? From Pay Hodges. Thoughts on the newbies.
Starting point is 01:03:39 Kelly, I kind of kind of like, cautiously like. Brittany, I don't think I like. Kelly is trending positive. Brittany, jury's still out, but I also don't like the confessional that she did where she's like, everybody always
Starting point is 01:03:56 says that I look really mean and they don't get to know me, but really I'm the sweetest person ever. It's like, eh, I don't think so. Anytime we hear people say they're really sweet. Yeah, every time we hear that line on these shows, it tends to go the other way. So that'll be interesting to see. Let's see.
