Bros & Shows - Get Your Phone, Carl! (Summer House Full Recap)
Episode Date: April 11, 2025What's up Bros? This has been a great season of Summer House thus far. A little whackier than we're used to seeing in recent years. But in this episode, Jesse and Lexi are heating up, but the question...s and doubts are growing as well. West is clearly growing tired of their relationship and starting to speak up about it more. Kyle and Amanda seem like theyre in a good place, and ya know what? It's nice to see. Jesse throws a Shabbat dinner for the crew in hopes to have a nice evening. Lindsay brings up the Lil speculation about the timing of the DM and we even chanted along at home, GET THAT PHONE! Carl clears up the situation which is perfect, because we get activated Lindsay, which we love, and we get a resolution immediately and we can all move on. Carl gets emotional on the anniversary of his brothers passing and the whole house steps up to console him in a very touching scene. Lexi gets more answers about Jesses' behavior the previous weekend and between that and Jesse questioning pretty much everything that Lexi needs from him, this relationship seems pretty doomed... Paige sits down with Ciara and it looks like the last straw for her was Craig's lack of support about the Giggly Squad Tour. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices

That's a pretty good way to start it off. Yeah. You know, it seems nice to sit down for a nice
Shabbat dinner, just have your friends, stay off of your phones, and really air out your grievances.
That's what I was. When he explained it, like what he was, the intention was, I was like,
this sounds lovely. I want to do this with my family every Friday. Just sit down. How was your week?
What are we going to do next week? It was so positive. Everything was so positive.
And I was like, hell yeah. This is going to be so nice.
it didn't even seem like he had an ulterior motive either like i don't think he did that so that
people would start to like air out their shit with each other he did it for the right reasons
and that's nice to see on a show like that shows bros and shows i gotta have me my pros and shows
bros and shows bros and shows i gotta have me my bros and shows good afternoon everybody
welcome back to another episode of bros and shows i'm your co-host steel russell joined us
as always by the one and only boots scoot and shoot me goots what's up dude not a lot happy
master's day to everybody that celebrates it's the best time of year you get to sit there and it's
you know it's not really warming up in the northeast part of the country right now but it's nice to
see the flowers it's nice to hear the birds that are definitely not just audio that's pumped
in by the broadcast it's just a beautiful time yeah it's definitely not it they don't
fake the birds birds are real and they're dinosaurs and the robots all of those things are
oh yeah that's what we're talking about the chicken always has to remember who he is he's actually a t-rex
that's what everybody's saying these days guys so with that we're going to talk about summer
house instead of dinosaur birds but this is another good episode it's a good season it's a little
bit of a wacky season for different reasons but it's solid and like i got one thing i want to
discuss before we get it we talked about it a lot right because obviously jesse's getting
some shit. Obviously, Jesse deserves to be getting some shit. He's not handling this the best way
possible. But what would we be discussing about this season if it wasn't for Jesse and Lexi?
What would be the talking point to carry us through? Not the one-offs that we're getting. We're
getting a couple of things here with Lindsay and Carl. We're getting some shit over here with West and
Sierra. But without Jesse and Sierra, without Jesse and Lexi, what are we discussing? And we can all
agree it's an entertaining season so when people get up in arms like get these douchebags off of my
tv it's like well then what would you like to watch i think people are just so quick nowadays to
immediately call for a recast for pretty much any of these shows as soon as something goes wrong and i think
people have lost the formula along the way when it comes to a show like this you need douchebags you
need people that you don't really like people that you wouldn't necessarily and you and i have agreed
Like, we would hang out with Jesse.
We'd hang out with West.
There's always douchebags in a lot of guy groups.
And most of the time, they're fun for other guys to hang around.
But you can sit there and be like, yeah, you treat women like shit.
That's kind of fucked.
But you are fun to hang out with.
And you're fun to see on screen.
You wouldn't date my sister.
Yeah.
And I think that gets lost in the sauce with a lot of these people nowadays.
And whether it's a housewife show or a Southern charm or this, they're so quick to go to social media and say, we want so and so back.
we want this like I saw a post last week where people were saying we used to have real men on
this show and it was a picture of Luke like come what are we talking about how the fuck him swinging
an axe stuck in a log he's still building an igloo for winter house he never finished it like
it is insane to me this guy was the worst and again I have to remind everyone I'm rewatching a lot
of summer house it's a good comfort show it's funny to watch when him and a hannah were at their
peak. He was admittedly dating somebody and was still going into the room to try to convince
Hannah to go for a ride on his motorcycle. He's doing the same shit that Jesse's doing. He's not a
real man. We've never had real men on this show. And the real men, you know, somebody like an
Alex or Chris or whoever, those are the guys that you don't really want to watch. Those are the
guys that just kind of sneak into the background. Like, oh, yeah, there's not a lot of fun there.
We need douchebags on these shows. They make them very entertaining. So shut up. Just knock it off.
thank you i i teed that up for you for that just to remind people this is summer house i'm not
saying what they're doing school we shit on these guys all the time for how they treat the women on
the show we're not condoning it but the entertainment value speaks for itself one of the most
talked about episodes was when austin was there being an idiot with lindsay and sierra do we
love him no he was being a douchebag but we all talked about it that was one of the most watched seasons
most watched episodes like that's the show remember what they used to do back in the day it was a bunch
of dudes getting a hammered trying to hook up that was the basis and there was the girls in the house
doing their thing but the dudes were bopping out doing stupid things that's what hooked everybody
where is summer house without kyle kook where is summer house without guys like jessie and west on
Where is Summer House without awkward Carl?
All these pieces, well, they may irritate you ad nauseum, okay?
They might get on your nerves.
You might be over somebody early in the season.
I can get that.
I can respect that.
But the show fundamentally functions well when you have all parts.
When you have Kyle, whether you love him or hate him, it's irrelevant.
One of the two is going to entertain you when you have guys like Jesse North.
Jesse, I think he does have morals.
I think he's just a fuck boy.
And fuck boys on these shows do well.
here's the thing all right last thing i'm going to say from a dude's standpoint okay what jesse is
attempting to do all right i'm not giving him any outs here how he's handling this is brutal
lex he's been up front he should be treating her better he should be falling along these guidelines
if he wants this thing to work but here's where he's at mentally everybody and i believe
this to be 99.9% true he is in a point in his life
where he's like, I need to grow up and I need to get a relationship and this is how it goes and I just got to
bite the bullet on some things because this is how grown up relationships must function because
he's never been in one. So now he's trying to rush into one because he thinks he's at that phase in his life
where it's time to grow up a little bit and get in a real relationship. That's why you have these inner
monologues with confessionals. That's why you have him talking to people on the side. He's trying to work
through where his limits are. It's like she's checking my follower. She's doing this. She's doing that.
he doesn't love it, but then on the flip side with Lexi, he's saying it's fine.
It's because he's trying to figure out where that line is of, is this just how relationships
are supposed to function?
Or is this too much?
That's what he's wrestling with.
It's not an excuse.
He's still treating her poorly and he shouldn't be doing that.
I'm not condoning his behavior.
But on his end of things, I don't think he's entering this.
Like, I'm going to be a fuck boy.
He's entering this.
Like, I'm trying to not be a fuck boy.
I'm just really bad at it.
And I keep misstepping.
time and time again. I don't think he's trying to be an asshole to Lexi. I think he's actually
trying to do the opposite. He just keeps slipping up because he's not that guy. He's doing a
terrible, terrible, terrible. But here's the thing when it comes to that. This type of shit
happens all the time. One day you wake up and you go, holy shit, am I in a real relationship or
am I in a situation ship or am I really still early on and I can probably break this off because
it's moving too fast or slow it down. And this really does happen in real life. I've been through
something similar back, you know, 10 years ago, but still, it's, it's hard to jump off. It's
crazy. Take that for what you will. We'll still call everybody out when they're, when they're
doing brutal things. I'm going to call them out this episode, for God's sakes. Just understand,
like Steele said in the beginning of the episode, without somebody like Jesse, without Jesse's
storylines this year, we would be dealing with Craig and Page constantly. We would be hoping that
Carl and Lindsay would pop off a little bit more just so we could get some drama. And then we
would be looking at everybody else in the house saying, what are you doing? What are you doing? What are you doing?
what are you doing? What are you doing?
Kyle is that we actually have things.
Yeah, we have things to talk about because of Jesse.
But let's get into this episode and we start out with Lindsay and Page and this
friendship that has taken nearly a decade to blossom into a friendship finally.
And it's actually nice to see them get along.
I think they're funny together.
Yeah, it is.
It's really nice.
But like hearing quotes like, I was raised by Lindsay Hubbard and this, that,
like it's just finally.
Like I like that they're at peace with each other.
But when they're two, when like they have two very different personality.
but they have a lot of similarities and when the two of them get together it works just so well
because all of the weird little like microaggressions that would happen when the two of them
would pop off early in the seasons that they were together those don't exist anymore because both of them
look and they're like oh i just know that's how you are as a person okay i can accept it let's move on
i've got bigger things to deal with that's where we are right now and they realize you're
fucking funny as hell i love the way you handle situations i want to be just like you and they're both doing
it and that works out so well for both of them
Yep, and you get a little foreshadowing, and we know it's coming because we saw the trailer, but my emotions are insane and it's probably going to come out on Carl.
Yep, great, perfect.
It's hilarious, we want to absolutely hilarious.
Can't wait, but we get to Jesse and Lexi.
I fucking hated the scene.
I know that you were probably watching it, and you're like, oh, he's going to hate this.
Dude, did you fucking see?
And like, I just inherently put myself in West's shoes when he gets in the car after watching.
watching the two of them kissing like they haven't seen each other in so long like jesse
went off to war and he had a locket of lexie with him the entire time he got back and he's like
this is what we're going to do i'm going to pick you up and we're going to kiss passionately they
know the cameras there what is he doing did you see his arm he's like like oh you see his hand
oh no you missed how the fuck did you miss this he's kissing her and he's got his hand on her arm
and he's going like this on it like he can't get enough and it brought me back to that
fucking cringy video on tic talk which i hope you also haven't seen where
they do this love shake where they just get overwhelmed with love and they don't know what to do.
So they grab each other and they start shaking and then it's like, I'll send it to you later.
If you're watching this, go look it up. It's not anybody on Bravo.
It's people on TikTok and they just get overwhelmed with the power of love and they need to just grab
each other and start shaking because that's the only way that they can get their love out.
It is the worst thing that I've ever seen. Do whatever you're doing.
I'm fine with you guys moving fast. It really doesn't affect me.
I don't care.
I don't give a shit.
It's funny.
It's going to lead to some complete blowup that's going to be hilarious for me to watch.
Don't make me sit there and watch your weird little ticks.
I don't want to see it.
I just don't.
No PDA on Bravo shows.
That's my only request.
I don't think we're getting, or that's definitely at the end of.
Put a towel.
Put a towel.
Like a little hand towel.
So I don't have to watch this shit.
Well, the funniest is, you can tell West is starting to get fed up with the whole thing because he gets in the car.
He's done with.
him and he's like kind of like rolls his eyes he's like oh hey guys like how's everything and it's
like well lex you met my parents and he's like wow already huh and like normally west would be
like oh great good for you guys but instead he's like hmm he has something to say about it because
it opens up with and this is again this is where jesse fucks up because he's like it was super casual
it's like oh bro don't doubt you did it already like you could have said hey it's too soon he's trying
to make both of them happy he's trying to make west and let's be happy and it's it was super casual
it was super great it's like you just downplayed it to lexie so now it's not a big deal to you in her mind
that's fucking weird and now to west you're saying yeah i know i told you on face time two days
ago i wasn't going to do this i did it anyway and the worst part is his reasons and this shows you
hey my guy you're not ready for a relationship because he goes to confessional
he's like you know like after everything that happened with the like that weekend and the kickball
game like i didn't want to do it but i was like i owe it to her i'm like that's horrible
horrible place to be starting a relationship from it's been less than a month guys and you're
already making these weird concessions that you don't align with because you feel guilty
that's a bad place like not i'm not putting anything on lexie here like she wanted to do it
she was open and honest about it jesse doesn't know how to say no and he keeps
putting himself in stupid spots and the funniest part is West is like, huh, he said he
wasn't ready for that.
I was like, oh, my God.
What a nightmare car.
I know, and it's funny because there is a parallel that I'm going to draw between
West and Sierra right now being a third party to relationship talk where we see a little
bit later and we'll see it a lot more as the season continues with Sierra talking to
page about her and Craig.
West is privy to all of Jesse's actual desires.
Like, I know this is too much.
I know this is a lot.
West has a choice to make.
Does he just stay fucking quiet and roll his eyes in the back seat and say, dude, what are you doing?
You're telling me over here pretty much everything except I need to break it off with Lexi.
You're just telling me like, I don't want to do this.
I don't want to do this.
I can't make this concession.
I can't do this.
West has a choice to make, be quiet.
Or make little comments here and they're like, oh, interesting.
I didn't think you wanted to do that or whoa that's a big step guys but do it as sarcastic as possible you guys are moving super fast which we could have said for the last month and we did actually get the month comment a little bit later by somebody else I don't remember who it was you guys have known each other for a month you've now you've now both met your parents that's insane what are you doing especially after you told me a couple days ago that you were absolutely not going to do this under any circumstances and then you do it so I think west is seeing that as like a cry for help like hey
maybe if I make this messy enough,
you guys will just have to be forced to have this conversation
or she'll break it off with you
because she's hearing comments about all of these things going on.
I'm trying to save you.
But also,
this is the most important.
West fucking hates their relationship.
He wants his growback and he does not want to deal with this.
And I get that to some extent,
mostly because you don't want to be around while this is going on
while they're hugging and kissing and doing all these fucking lovey-dovey things.
Well, I think, like, I'm here, guys.
Like, don't do this.
I don't want to see it.
That bothers me when people do shit like that.
But also, I think it's, it's, he knows where Jesse really stands.
So he's like, dude, you're, you're fighting a losing battle.
I know you don't want this.
Stop.
By the way, that's beneficial for you and for her because it lets her down without you, like,
dragging this out for another month.
And then you really break her heart.
And again, she doesn't deserve that because she's been up front and honest.
You don't, you should not trample this girl and you are going to.
And the funniest is to hear West.
draw from past experiences and hey he's learned something he's like look if i and i thought this
was a confessional because i was writing it down and he was in the car yeah look if i learned anything
like don't do it if it's too soon because i took sierra didn't think it was a big deal it's a
huge deal i learned that i was like wow self-reflection from west growth hell yeah brother
it's self-reflection that he's now weaponizing against jesse and lexie sure i mean you know
we'll give him like half credit
but we're getting there it's it's a no i'm giving him full credit like i do think that right now
jesse needs that i'm not even going to call it a lifeline i don't think that he's actively
looking for help from everybody else or he's trying to get somebody else to break them up because
he doesn't have the balls to do it which he actually might i think it's honestly just west
is taking this on his own like oh the fuck is going on here i'm dumb at this shit i'm going to throw
this out there remember house me and sierra ended last year and i did things way too fast you guys
doing the same shit. So not going to
faster, but much faster.
Much faster. I think that's a good point.
But we get to the house arrival.
And Lindsay's already huffing and puffing every time
Carl speaks up.
Oh, God, kill me.
Just gearing up for later.
It's incredible.
But what's nice to see, Kyle and Amanda had a lovely time at their
wedding in Italy. I don't know if that was Andrea's
wedding or not, but they, I know a lot of them went over there for a
wedding in Italy at some point.
It wasn't Andreah's wedding.
They did last year, right?
Yeah, that's right.
So regardless, they seem to be a little bit more affectionate.
They seem to like each other right now.
Like the scene of Kyle waking up in bed because he didn't go out the night before.
She's like, oh, you're going to go to the gym and be a good boy and like they're smooching.
Kyle, look what happens when you just give your wife some attention and time.
It's a magical thing.
Just act like you want to hang out with her and hang out with her and spend quality time.
look you guys are getting along and it's nice honestly it's nice to see and i know that like
yeah we're in italy we're at a wedding it's going to be fun we stayed up till seven a m how did you
stay up till seven a m that's a question for a different day i've got thoughts on that but you stayed
up till seven a m and you had fun and you're reflecting back on it not as a miserable experience
but as a fun time you guys can do this and you can both have your cake and eat it too
Amanda can go design her swimsuits
Go do what she wants to do
Go live her dream
Kyle can go do his DJ thing
Live his dream
Which I do agree with him when he says
This is a passion of mine
It is a passion of his
He has been doing this on Summerhouse forever
So if he's gonna go do it
And Amanda's okay with it
We're okay with it
Good
We're not gonna have fights anymore
Known Kyle Hater
Shooter McGuder
Condon him a DJ
I don't I mean I hate his fucking
When he's a huge asshole to Amanda
Of course
But like if this is how we're gonna get it
and you guys are going to be able to compromise and live your lives balanced.
Good.
I want that.
Yeah.
You know why?
Because she's not leaving him, right?
So we want this to be as happy of a marriage as it possibly can be.
We don't want it to be.
I don't like watching marriages breakdown.
No.
Fuck no.
So if they can figure it out and it's taken this long to do it and we've been privy to it the entire time,
good for them because they're clearly not getting a divorce.
So don't we want them to be happy at the very least?
Like, not root for them to fail?
Yeah, so it's good for the show.
Anyway, it's great for the show.
But Jesse's throwing a little Shabbat dinner for everybody so that they can all learn about it and share and relax is what we're leaning on.
It's not what ends up happening.
But I think it actually turned out better than it could have gone once we get there.
But Sierra arrives.
Jesse kisses her on the head.
Hey, Jesse, don't kiss her on the head.
Yeah.
You know, these are the things.
These are the things.
because the compromises that need to be made in any relationship,
not just with somebody like Lexi,
who's a little bit more jealous than you're used to,
most women will not be cool with the extra flirting that you do,
with the comments,
with kissing somebody that you were accused of aggressively flirting with a week ago.
I don't know anyone that would be like,
you're good, you knucklehead.
Here's where Jesse is now.
Jesse got through the kickball situation.
he thinks he is now he's scot free he got through all of that and he's immediately and this is much in line with his character and i kind of resonate with this too he's making jokes about it already there were like 15 toe jokes during this episode he's even closer now with sierra he feels like i've cleared the air with that i can pretty much act how i've been acting with sierra it's going to be a rude awakening on that front the toe thing he's just going to keep making jokes about until it pretty much goes away and i think it will go away honestly i don't
think the only the only casualty of all of that the sierra thing is a much bigger deal the
only casualty in the whole togate ends up being immoral which is totally unfair he does not
deserve that he is living his life and jesse barged into that and now he's the only one who's getting
the weird comments you're on my shit list i was like what what do yeah that's fucked up that is
so fucked that he's the one that told somebody yeah he let he should not be getting any smoke for any
of that he's living his life i also i've got an issue with the way that they're doing emerald this
season i feel like he's getting that one-sided type of production or it's like hey he's just he's just
a sex guy there's other things going on he had a comment during dinner talking about how he's he's
hanging out with his what cousin's nieces or whatever or his cousins kids or whatever so yeah i guess
it's technically his niece i don't know how that works i don't really understand how that's like second
cousins i think but yeah he's he's got more to offer and we saw something in the last week that he like
He's teaching kids how to speak English, and he's doing all of these other types of things.
He speaks English to the kids.
He speaks Bengali to the parents.
Nope.
That's not what I'm talking about.
He's teaching English to kids.
Yeah, it's something that he put out there.
Relax.
Okay.
No.
You got to be up to date on this because if I'm going to speak good things on Emeril and I'm pissed off at production for one siding him, being like, oh, we've got an orgy beast over here, which by the way, he doesn't really care for that nickname.
He doesn't want that nickname because he's not one-dimensional.
Show more of that.
I know what production's doing.
They wanted to throw him in there because that's what we've wanted.
We want somebody who's going to go in there and just go out and have sex with random people.
Cool.
If that's part of his character, I like that he's open sexually.
That's awesome.
But there is more there.
And I feel like they're not showing it at all.
And they're just painting him as this sex guy.
And that's what they're going to throw him into.
And also, he doesn't deserve the strays.
Jesse went in there and got his toe sucked.
It is not Imral's fault.
Maybe Imrule did say.
Jesse's fault.
Also, the, uh, oh,
why don't you suck his toe i dare you to suck his toe i don't think he said that jesse probably put
his fucking feet on the bed and said suck my toe i'm sure of it jesse was definitely more of the
aggressor yeah if you want to call it that's a weird word to use for but yeah he was he put himself
in that situation that's jesse's fault it's your boyfriend or whatever you guys i don't even know
the fucking labels now because they're exclusive but not boy don't get me started but like i
get mad at him still.
He's not out of him else.
Imrule, that's funny, you have that take, because in my head, I'm like, he's just there.
He's just a spot filler.
I don't see more from him.
So maybe he's getting fucked by production.
That's an interesting take, but.

Oh, hi, buddy.
Who's the best?
You are.
I wish I could spend all day with you instead.
Uh, Dave, you're off mute.
Hey, happens to the best of us.
Enjoy some goldfish cheddar crackers.
Goldfish have short memories.
Be like goldfish.
Lexi does recognize that Jesse Sierra stuff is sketchy.
And this is where I feel so bad for.
She's like, am I being stupid?
It's not that I don't trust Jesse, but why would I trust Jesse?
It's like that one.
Hold on to that one.
That's the right one.
Correct.
Don't.
Okay.
All the things you're feeling now because you thought you could trust him.
And now you're like, ooh, I don't know, go with those.
and run. Save yourself.
We give Lexi a lot of credit for being
transparent, and she deserves the credit
for that. It doesn't mean what
she's doing is right when she's talking about
how, yeah, if I get into a relationship, I move
really fast. Don't.
Just absolutely. No,
nope, nope, nope, nope, nope. I am actually going to
hate on this. Don't.
Take it fucking slow and figure your shit out.
You don't know who you're dating. So if you're going to sit there
and tell us in a confessional, why would
I trust Jesse? The why would I trust
Jesse, yes, it does stem from him getting
his toes up. Yes, it stems from him flirting with Sierra.
But why would you trust somebody
that you've been dating for a month, that you've
known for a month, that you've been dating for like
two weeks? It's tough to say definitively,
only because she is so very transparent, and what she's
getting back from Jesse is
aligning with those things. So that's
where I put more error
on Jesse because, yes, you're right.
He deserves more error. I'm just saying, like, she doesn't get
clean slate. No, I know what you're saying.
I'm just saying it's, it's tougher.
for me just because she's putting it out there and especially when they're off camera you know
for a fact he's giving it back right and then he gets in other situations and it's a little bit more
he's love bombing yeah without a doubt so that's where it's like yeah you're not wrong don't jump
into something like this after a week or two especially first season on the show especially with a
dude that's on the show that has a history right so that all makes sense but at the same time it's
tough because it's like well he's giving me all this back so it's confusing so i i can get both
of it. I'm not saying you're wrong. But anyway, it turns out that Lexi and Jesse
100% official, as Jesse says. And West goes, yeah, Lexi bullied Jesse into meeting his parents.
So you can tell. Like, they're starting to fray. The friendships are not that they're not
friends anymore, but people are getting irritated. They have questions about this whole thing.
And Lexi's sitting with the girls and she's like, I met the parents. You know, after Kickball,
I was so upset. I was crying, but he bought me flowers and took me to my favorite restaurant.
on. I was like, what else do you do to love bomb you and convince you that's not a problem?
It's hard, like, because it's so obvious to us.
And like, when you're in the midst of it, like, I know we've all been in relationships
where you don't recognize until you're away from it.
So I'm not going to fault it.
But it's like, dude, why do you think he did all those nice things for you?
He feels bad.
He's trying to, he's trying to buy your affection with flowers and dinner.
Yeah.
And I think Paige said it best a little bit later when they're at the club.
And she says, she's 26.
Like, this is how she's going to operate.
She is being transparent about that.
And there is a whole, you know, transparency thing going on with the younger, the younger generation, if you will, that's going to sound so fucking old.
But there is a whole transparency thing where it's like, I'm so upfront with all of my feelings.
Here we go.
But I feel like in this scene, when she's sitting there and going through this, I just wanted to say, you finally have said it out loud.
Like you did just tell this whole group of girls that do know Jesse better than you do.
This is what he did after I found out about the toe sucking.
let's not forget he didn't bring it up to you he had ample opportunities to bring it up you asked him
about the weekend he brought this up or rather you had this discussion after somebody else brought
it to his attention or to your attention so he didn't do this on his own he doesn't get any credit
for that so when you bring it up verbally he bought me flowers he took me to my favorite restaurant
he's going to meet his parents i ended up meeting his parents like you do have to realize and
I wanted to just shake her.
Like you just said this and you just saw all of their reactions.
They're all like,
ugh,
okay.
That's not,
you know,
I know what he's doing.
We all know what he's doing.
He fucked up and he's trying to make up for it by love bombing.
That's a typical douchebag dude reaction.
That's what you're going to get.
When you bring it up and you see that,
how are you not like,
yeah,
you know what?
Now that I say it out loud,
that is kind of fucked up,
don't you think?
Yeah.
And then he brings up or she brings up Sierra flirting and she's like,
it's just weird because like,
I've seen you guys.
You guys are like brother and sister.
And Sierra's like, oh, fuck me.
And it goes to a confessional with Paige.
He's like, have you watched these two together?
They are not brother and sister at all.
That's a Jesse thing, by the way.
Oh, it's 100% of Jesse.
It's confirmed now after watching that.
It's like, oh, Jesse told you that, didn't he?
Yeah.
Yeah, he definitely did because we're just like brother.
We're really tight.
It's like what brother and sister are doing the things that those two are doing?
Page even says, dude, something's going.
on and then this is the part where i'm like wait a minute wait just a little sec because
sierra's like oh yeah he was like 10 times stronger when you weren't here because you weren't here
i was like you leaned into it okay she i'm not gonna vilify sierra i'm not but you leaned into the
flirting as well and that wasn't fair to lexie either and this poor girl is just getting trampled
on left and right and it's sad because she seems just like a nice person very sweet a little naive
but like she just wants to be in a loving relationship smile hang out with her sister and her mom
for Sierra to do that and be like oh it's like 10 times as bad because you weren't here I was like
yeah it was but like you were party to it is that am I wrong no you're you're definitely
not wrong about that I wish that I don't know I guess because they're not that close to Lexi
But at some point, there is the overall girl code that should go.
Like, girl code, yes.
It does get a little murky when you only know somebody for that long.
And pretty much the entirety of Lexi's stay at the summer house has been wrapped around Jesse.
So it is tough.
Like, I don't think that the rest of these women have been able to sit down with this girl and just have a real friendship.
Like, hey, let's get to know you.
Because as soon as she got there, it was Jesse, Jesse, Jesse, Jesse.
So I feel like they could do that now
And to say for all of the fucking energy last week
Where they were actively rooting for Jesse and Sierra
You guys forgot about Lexi
You didn't really forget about Lexi
Because you did point out immediately
Lexi's not here
So we're going to get the real Jesse Solomon
It's fucked up to sit there with somebody
Who you have known for a month
Who you do know
And not say more than what you said
Like yes you did lead on a little bit
Like hey
And I like Paige as part of it
that if you're going to be in this relationship,
you do have to understand that there are things about him.
And yeah, he's going to have to change those things.
But the rest of them could have sat there and said,
yeah, it's kind of fucked up.
You weren't here.
He's flirting with Sierra the whole time.
And now what?
He comes back and has excuses for it.
Like, they do have to have some girl code.
There has to be a semblance of girl code during this conversation that isn't there.
They're choosing Jesse over her, plain and simple.
That's what's going on.
That's exactly what's going on.
That's not fair.
That's not fair at all.
And it goes back to, and this is what they did to Sam.
This is what they do to people on the outside.
Like, we saw that scene of Lexi leaving Page's room to go and find Amanda.
And Amanda was walking towards the room as it happened.
She's like, oh, I was just coming to find you.
And she's like, oh, great, I'm going to go talk to the girls.
Deuce is like stiff armed her out of the room.
It's like, she's trying to just be nice.
I get on a normal level, but at the same time, she is just trying to be nice.
She's just tried.
She's looking for friends.
Bring her into the fold.
Just because she started with Jesse doesn't mean she's not allowed to
branch out and be friends with the girls and I feel like that is them yeah and I think that's a
product of the fact of how Jesse acts when he's with her and when he's not with her no I think that
they're like oh we like the Jesse that's not around her let's try to get that one back I think
that's kind of what they're leaning towards but we go over to the boys and carl's talking about
his date with Lil all I could picture was you in this situation like back in the day like
what you would have done if somebody gave you a lemon and said because you always make lemonade
Like, that's literally, I was like, I wonder how she would react to this.
Sapuku.
I don't know.
Oh.
That, honestly, I, yep, I'm out.
I've lost my honor.
I have disgraced my family by even being on this date and being in this situation.
See you later.
I'm dead.
Bye.
Yep.
Anyway.
But following the lemon conversation, which I know you loved so much, we get a confessional with
Lindsay.
And she's talking about.
her feelings on the matter. First and foremost, Carl's weak as fuck.
This home wrecking horror, I'm not going to put up with this shit. And this all makes so much
sense because I knew something was up with the last two weeks. And I knew he wouldn't call it off
unless he knew there were options out there. He's like, oh, people want to date me? The fact that
she equates this text message, too part of the reason that she was broken up with because Carl realized
he had other options out there, and that gave him the strength to break up with Lindsay is by
far my favorite evaluation of their relationship.
It's absolutely incredible, honestly.
It's, it is, it has gotten to a point.
And I think because we talked about it so much last year, and because of where Lindsay is
currently, where she is pregnant with another man's child in such a short amount of time,
that any Lindsay Carl talk is just hilarious.
It is so funny.
I don't care if there's any substance to any of it.
I don't care if Carl was actually talking to this girl before they actually broke up.
I'm still going to treat it the same way.
It's funny.
It is very funny to watch Lindsay get activated about a Carl thing that happens while they were together or right after they were together.
I don't care what it is.
I'm not even going to do the thing where I point and say, why do you care?
I'm not invested in this at all.
It is just a very funny nuance that I'm excited to see how it ends and knowing how this goes.
is even funnier i know it's it you said it perfectly we're at a point now where carl and lindsay
beef is comic relief it's just who is she going to get them is he going to get her like who's
going to win oh all right who gives a fuck let's move on like it's it's peak comedy at this moment
and hearing her go off is really funny but we check in with page talking about the giggly tour
is coming up in a month and you're really seeing the cracks this is like we're getting close
uh which it sounds like she must have went on
tour when she got back she was like we need to talk about some things just timeline wise because
if it's a month after this probably a break in the tour or they were back on the east coast or they
were close to yeah because the tour started in september they broke up you know close to
november yeah so she said it's two months on the road so she got back and was like we need to
talk that's what it sounds like to me and we can kind of see how that goes too because we've been
saying for weeks as soon as this popped up that craig was only worried about himself he was worried about
you know are they going to see each other and page said and put into words
both last week and this week, a real response from a boyfriend, the loving boyfriend who was
secure in the relationship would have been, I'm so excited for you. That is probably what Craig should
have done. We talked about it at length. We said, figure out a time that makes sense for you to go visit.
And she said that last week. So all of that is in line with all of our thinking. And I'm sure
everybody else that's watching this is like, why is it not going this way? But yeah, I think timeline-wise,
she went on tour for two months. Maybe it took her back to New York. Maybe it took her back to close
to New York or wherever, and that's when they had the conversation.
But that was definitely the final nail in the coffin, if you will.
This is, this is 100%, especially as she speaks about it with Sierra and everybody later.
Like, this was the straw that broke the camel's back.
She came to him, I'm bugging about the tour.
I'm a little nervous.
I'm a little excited.
The only response should have been, you're going to do great.
I'm so excited for you.
You're going to kill it.
Period.
End of story.
Talk about the relationship when she gets back.
She's not focused on it right now, dude.
No.
she's not she doesn't care she's she's worried about her own thing that she won't support it
i think what ultimately ended up happening is the tour and their relationship while she was on
tour went exactly as she thought it would and based on the conversations that we get to
see a little bit of with sierra which i'm sure a lot more has happened off screen just based off
of the way they're talking or at least before they started filming this season i think that's
pretty much what happens she went on tour Craig didn't do any of those things he didn't just show
up randomly he didn't try to plan hey why don't i come see and like spend a couple
the night's here and there and I get to see your show. I'm going to be super supportive of this.
It was just more of the same that what we're seeing right now, where it's Craig talking about,
oh, yeah, you're going to have time for me. Oh, yeah. You're going to come back down to Charleston.
Yeah, so I think those two months were a bit of a litmus test like, hey, let's see how this goes.
Is it going to go how I think it's going to go, which is ultimately how it ended? Or are you going to show
some effort? Are you going to support? Are you going to show up? Are you going to just kind of text
me here and there and just say, hey, how was the show tonight? And that's not what happened.
Or was he overbearing, like, hey, where are you?
Can I come here?
I could have been that too.
Yeah, I didn't even think about the other side of the spectrum.
So either way, whatever happened on those two months is kind of what she was prepping for
and kind of how we see this whole thing hurtling towards.
So ultimately it was the right decision like, hey, this was a test.
You failed miserably.
This has to be done.
Yep, that was the last straw.
But we get the dinner.
Kyle's got his first DJ gig in the Hampton.
So he's practicing his DJ thing with classes.
One's and twos.
That's very funny.
but Jesse gives the Shabbat toast
that makes Lexi's Fanny Flutter
Does that not sound like a fart to you
Or is that just me?
It definitely sounds like a fart to me
I get what they're saying
I know what they're saying sounds like a tooth
Fannie Flutter is a fart yeah
We're in dangerous territory by the way
We're in dangerous territory by the way
with Jesse and singing
Are you are you teetering?
This is not like
This isn't singing.
So when you,
whoa,
whoa,
no,
I've seen Shabbat before.
This is,
this was performative.
This was very performative.
Well,
I think here's the thing.
If you have a platform to sing,
he's going to turn into Tom Sandable.
This is what I'm worried about.
Here's the thing.
I agree with you.
I have also been to Shabbats.
I've been to,
uh,
similar Jewish holidays.
The prayers are sung.
You're telling me.
You're telling me.
If you had a good voice and it was your turn to do the toast,
at Shabbat. You wouldn't juz it up a little bit?
If I was actually religious, and I, first off, you do sing at church.
And I've seen the people that go, they get a little carried away, they're doing it for
themselves. They're doing it for themselves. They are not doing it to praise the Lord.
Yeah, no, they're doing it for themselves. They know they have a good voice. They know that they can
carry on a little bit more. They're glancing around a little bit. Yeah. And this is also, by the way,
on the heels of a week in which Jesse posted,
I don't know,
six fucking TikToks of him singing his own song.
It's getting to a point.
We are very close to Sandoval territory.
But anyway, Carl went on a date.
So he's talking about his,
we're going through what everyone's like happy moment of the week was,
what we're looking forward to next week.
And Carl's like, I went on a date.
I'm going to keep dating.
And they're like, someone else though, right?
And they're like, yeah, yeah, all right, cool, Carl.
and then we bring up the lemon and lemonade thing and then here we go we're all waiting for it
and he goes so how did that go and he's like great she's like hmm because i heard i heard that you guys
started texting last summer i'm like yes get into it and he's like that's that's simply untrue and
she's like calling the girl names all your little girlfriend i'm like damn she perfect and here's the thing
like there's it's a two partner right of course you're
allowed to have emotions because you guys were engaged less than a year ago.
So yeah, you're allowed to, to even though you're pregnant with another person's kid,
you're definitely allowed to be upset about this.
The second part, as she said, she is pregnant.
She's emotional.
This is in real life the worst possible time this could come up.
For us at home, the best time for this to come up.
The absolute best time.
It just ran.
And look, I believe her when she says, if this was 10 years down the line, I'm still going
to feel some type of way about this.
Like, are you fucking kidding me?
So, fair.
Completely fair to go after him for this.
She's like, well, then prove it.
He's like, my phone's upstairs.
She's like, how convenient?
I'm like, wait, that's only convenient if he expected this questioning to happen.
He didn't plan for this.
So it's not convenience.
Still a great response.
I know.
And the fact that she's like, it's just perfect because everyone at the table is like, we can't touch this.
We just have to sit back.
Jesse's faces during this scene are fucking hilarious.
Everyone else doesn't know if they should drink, eat, laugh, cry.
They're just all trying to not make it more awkward.
I think they're all ready to laugh, honestly.
I really do.
And all of us at home should be handling this the same way.
It's not serious.
It doesn't have any ramifications on anything going on in the house.
I think it's enjoyable to watch because watching Lindsay get activated is fun and she really
hasn't been activated the summer.
This whole summer has been very weird, watching the two of them be cordial, watching her
be nice to him. Nobody expected
that. Carl didn't expect that. Lindsay
may have. And now that we're getting
this, and it's just not that deep,
it's kind of funny. Like, yeah, fuck
you. Get your phone. Get your phone.
Get your phone.
She's like, you have a terrible
judge of character. And he looks and goes,
yeah, you're probably right. I do have a terrible judge
of character. It's like, ooh. Yes, good towards her.
Yeah. I know. I was like, damn.
Hell yeah. We're going back and forth. And she's
like, and then, you know, you're playing
victim because you want people to feel bad for you because the date
didn't work out. He's like, I didn't even say that. I didn't even say that.
Chaos. And then finally, they're like, just go get the phone after Carl says, I pray for you.
I'm worried about you. It's like, where are we going with this? That's a bless your heart right there for you.
100% of bless your heart. And they're like, just go get the phone. Please go get the fucking phone.
He goes and gets the phone. And as we know, Lil already debunk this on Instagram via her story.
The timeline got a little bit more interesting than what we thought.
Because last week, obviously, Lil debunked it with the screenshot of the text message.
Now, I don't know if you caught this, but when Lindsay looks at the message, there is other things above.
There was something above.
That Lil deleted because there were, and it was from Lil, and maybe, you know, Carl didn't actually like talk or whatever.
But she did know who Carl was before the parents met because there were other DMs above when Carl was going there.
So here's what I think it was.
It looked like a story reply or something like that.
looked like a post so i think perhaps at the game with the parents parents snap a picture
tag carl tag lill posted to the story carl reposts odds of that possibly um no actually no
odds of that zero odds of that because her because him and lindsay are still together why the
hell would he repost something with their daughter mentioned maybe that's what i'm saying the daughter
could have just been tagged in it but it was just the parent i don't know i have no idea i think but look here's
what it was. But that's not how Instagram works
anyway. If you're both tagged in something, it doesn't show up
in a DM. It's not really like that.
But I think it was probably
just she followed Carl. She knew
who Carl was and was probably replying
to different stories. And he would put something out
there and then she would reply to it. It would show
up in a DM there. But when she screenshot
it last week, there was nothing above.
This week when we see it on Summerhouse.
Now Carl took a very
long time to go get his phone and come down.
And he was looking at his phone the whole time.
He wasn't simply just looking at
messages he was
I think probably deleting a couple maybe like here and there
not anything that was incriminating nothing before that
I'm just saying just in case obviously you would
want to just give this to somebody like Jesse like hey read this
give it to page page didn't want it Lindsay had her hands
on that phone she could have just scrolled down a little bit more
and there's probably some incriminating shit further down
I think he get rid of those potentially I have no idea
but I will say this what she did see and she
did scroll she was looking through the whole thing from what she saw she had no problems yep
which was the best part of this whole fucking perfectly yep because everyone starts clapping at
the table she's like all right fine but just so you know it could be nine months later or it could be
like 10 years down the road i would still want to like perfect cherry on top nobody gets hurt
everyone laughs clap at the table we move on and west is like pregnant lindsay rocks she's
Agreed.
Yeah, we agree to.
But we check in with Imrul and how he's, you know, hanging out with his cousin's kid.
That's really all we get from it because immediately after that, Lexi's thing, her thing of the week is normally when I get in an argument, I get the ick.
But not with Jesse.
It's like, you should.
You still, you definitely should.
He's giving you all the signs to run.
You should run away right now.
But, yeah.
Kyle, this is why.
Kyle's important.
These little lines that he drops,
oh, was it only about the toe?
He's trying to push the narrative forward.
He's trying to bring up the Sierra stuff.
He knows what he's doing.
He does exactly what he's doing.
He gets glossed over.
They move past it.
No one answers it.
But that's what's important.
He knows the structure of the show.
Boop, what about Sierra is what he was doing there?
But you get a split scene with Paige Amanda Sierra,
Carl, the boys, and Lexi in the kitchen.
And Paige, Amanda and Sierra just laughing about the Lindsay getting shut down.
and then she just dropped it immediately.
And they're talking about Lexi and Jesse.
Just how weird this whole thing is.
We can all see it.
Like we see all the sides.
We've been talking about it for weeks now.
Pages and a confession is like, dude, like we met the parents.
We set a date.
We got the dress.
Like, what the fuck is going on?
This is a whirlwind right now.
And that should be a, like I just wish, and maybe you're right.
They don't know her well enough to step in here.
But you do wish that at some point, some of these ladies on the show that have been through
this shit,
similar things. Watch the fuck boys that have come in and out of Summerhouse would be like,
hey, let's go talk outside. I just want to give you a heads up. Just see where you're
at. And if you want to keep doing this, great. But here's what I'm working about. There's certain
circumstances where you don't want to get involved, obviously, because you don't want one or both
of those people to despise you because you tried to interject yourself in the middle of a relationship
or a budding romance or whatever you want to view this as. So I get that part of it. I don't think
it's that though i truly just think it's it for lack of a better way i think that they don't care
about lexie they just simply don't care they care about jesse and jesse's going to do this and they
probably think it's kind of funny that he's going through this and trying to figure it out because they
know how he actually feels because he keeps talking everybody about it but i think they think it's just
funny and like oh jessie'll be fine at the end of it he kind of deserves this whatever they're not
really caring about what lexie's emotions are going to be that's mean that's mean
It is mean.
It's sort of like a lie of omission.
It's like, yeah, I get it.
You guys don't really know each other, but you should still care because you do live
with her and you do have to, like, see her a lot.
And you're going to see what this is going to do to her.
I think that probably when we ultimately get a blow up or we get the break off or whatever,
Lexi is vulnerable and emotional, then they'll show up.
They'll be like, this was bad.
Yeah.
So I think right now what we're getting is like, ah, we don't really care.
Yeah, you're right.
I mean, they do have a history of stepping up when needed.
And I like all three of them.
So I'm not like with the flock, but like, well, it will be interesting though because
obviously if she gets into it with Sierra because of the flirting and doesn't go after
Jesse, they're not going to come to her side.
And you might get like Gabby, Gabby's probably going to come to her side.
Lindsay could toe in the water a little bit there, but you're not going to get Paige and Amanda.
No, that'll be tough.
And then that's also not the right way to go about it.
Like is Sierra wrong for leaning into it?
Yeah, but you're right.
You have to go to Jesse or Jesse with all, everything that's going on is Jesse.
It's nobody else is Jesse.
But Lexi, meanwhile, is a perfect example.
Imrule, you're on my shit list.
Why?
He didn't shove Jesse's toe in that woman's mouth.
That wasn't him.
Jesse barged into the room that we know.
Like there could have been some point.
Who knows?
I don't know the ins and out.
It's not going to claim to.
But your beef is with Jesse.
Okay.
Imrule is doing what Imruel does.
That's all.
Yeah, leave him alone.
Mm-hmm.
And then in a quick scene with Carl and Kyle,
it's just them discussing.
what happened at the dinner table and he's like it's confusing beyond belief she clearly didn't
heal she's obsessed with me i don't think she is absolutely not i don't think that's what this was
i think it's a one-off it's going to go away now i think that she did i agree i don't think she's
healed entirely yet i do agree with that the rest i'm like i don't think so i immediately said
just take the fucking win carl like if you if that brings you back to unpleasant memories of
being with lindsay and getting into fights with lindsay you didn't win really any of those
fights ever. She'd never let you win. She would go after you. And even if there was something
that you were in the right, you still seceded and just said, yeah, I guess I lost that one.
Just take the win. Like, this is an absolute win for you. Do not start talking shit afterwards
at all. Don't talk to Kyle about this because it could come up later. It will come up later. Now this
will be in the reunion. And you could have just walked away clean, like with a doubt.
It could have been a funny moment at the reunion where Andy just talks about it and everybody
reflects on it and we all laugh about it. Now,
You're going to have to answer for that.
You know how this works.
You've been on the show.
Come on.
The twisted tale of Amanda Knox

but we get to the morning after and like I said that Amanda and Kyle it's nice to see them get along that's all but Paige Sierra and Amanda are talking about Lindsay and Carl and the prayed for you thing and it leaks into Craig and page and that was really interesting she's like oh like the I prayed for you thing it's like what Craig says like okay I'm not perfect page all the time and everybody's like not one person thinks you're perfect clearly it's like
Wow. So this has been, if we're at that point, that means that the rumblings have been discussed for months probably at this point.
Yeah. And I got a little bit of that. I got a little bit of that last week because Sierra said to Page about Craig, like, is it the same stuff that we've been talking about? If you're going to tell me the same thing that we've been talking about, then I'm like, all right, this has been an ongoing issue. And this is something that, you know, you get different types of relationships all over the place. Some people don't talk to their friends about what they're going through. Some people always talk to their friends about what they're going through.
It seems like Sierra and Page have been discussing what's going on with her and Craig for a little while at least, maybe a couple of months at this point.
So I feel like it's, you know, this is now for the cameras.
This is now like, hey, this is what's going on.
And they can't really stop talking about it.
And this is the first like organic like, oh shit.
We were just talking about Lindsay and Carl who.
Yeah, now we're on page and Craig right away.
Just a little slip through the crack like you said.
That's when you know like, this is very real.
Yeah, this is it's about to happen.
it's getting close to it, but moments like this are why we spent so much time in the intro
talking about the structure of the show, how this all works, because at the end of the day,
you may hate some people in this house, you may not agree with what they do, you may want them
off, whatever. At the end of the day, they all really do give a fuck about each other. They all
really do care. And that highlighted in this scene because of something so small. People walked by
Carl's room and we're like, Carl to make his bed.
Oh, is everything okay with Carl as a joke?
But they also recognize like, well, he always makes his bed.
So is something wrong with Carl.
And in that moment, simultaneously, Carl gets back from working out, goes for a run.
And he's crying.
And he walks out the back door.
He sits down and he starts to cry.
And, you know, Imruled notices first.
And he goes out to talk to him.
And then people start to file out.
Even to the point, and I guarantee you, had it not blown up
at the dinner table and we're still dealing with just the residual awkwardness.
Lindsay would have gone out there.
And Lindsay would have consoled him on this day because this is the day that his brother
passed away.
Lindsay's the one that points that out to people in the house.
These people care about each other.
So like you may hate them,
but that's why the show works is because they do give a fuck.
I think Lindsay honestly right in that moment respected boundaries too where she's like,
yeah, like I do know what day it is.
I did kind of, you know, anticipated and obviously her birthday is the next day.
So she's always going to remember what day it is.
So her telling everybody else, it's like, all right, so she cares.
And she's like, no, like, this isn't just Carl being emotional.
Like, don't start thinking he's freaking out because of what happened last night.
He's not, like, completely off.
It's the anniversary.
And they're like, oh, shit.
I didn't know it was the anniversary at first because when Imrule went out there and Carl was crying,
and he sat down and he's like, I'm just going to lounge with you.
And Carl was crying.
He's like, oh, you're a little emotional.
I can give you some space if you want.
And he's like, no, no, it's fine.
I'm like, oh, that's the worst response possible to somebody being emotional that you're
sitting next to.
You want them to say, yeah, yeah, yeah, you know what?
Just like, give me a minute.
I'll be all right.
Or, hey, what's going on?
If they say, no, it's okay.
And they're continuing to be emotional, it's like, ah, I really wish that you just told me
to walk away.
Not, again, still not knowing what happens.
Still not knowing anything.
No, totally.
Once he then said it, I'm like, oh, okay, everybody's going to come out and console them.
That's fine.
See, I think that Emerald clocked it before he went out there.
I think he saw that Carl was emotional.
I think that he was trying to make it just like,
hey, I'm just going to lounge right here, like everything good.
I do believe that that was a comfort moment.
But regardless, that's what it turns into.
And Carl starts reflecting on his brother,
and you better believe I cried during this scene
because he was talking about his brother.
He was talking about the huge wake-up call
that his brother passing away was for him.
And he asks a question that a lot of us in this situation ask,
how am I still here?
Why am I still alive?
And I've asked this question many times.
And, like, when he said that, it hit me in the stomach.
I was like, oh, man, like, and it goes further than that because, you know, he's catching
a lot of shit for this soft bar idea and, you know, he catches a lot of shit in general.
I think people forget sometimes what he's been through.
I think people forget this journey that he's been on to get to this point and what soft bar
really means because people like to make jokes like, oh, a bar without alcohol, it's like,
yeah, but you're missing the message.
You're missing what he's doing.
Is it going to work?
I don't know.
I don't know.
I have no idea.
But I do think that it's fairly belittling to his sobriety as a whole to take an idea that he's trying to turn into speaking out and helping with awareness to sobriety and helping with responsible consumption, things of those nature.
I think that the message is so much bigger than just this is a dumb idea to start a bar without alcohol in it.
And if you look back at what he's gone through again, like, I just, I think that people are too quick on this one to make fun of when you forget the fact that he lost his brother.
to addiction. He went through addiction. He's now sober and he's trying to promote that message.
Is it a good idea? Time will tell. But everyone's shitting on it, forgets that, oh yeah, he got to this
point because of X, Y, and Z that he's been through. I think that's an important thing to remember as
we talk more about the soft bar is like all that stuff. I just think it's important to note.
But we get to Kyle's DJ gig and Carl and Sierra are sitting and chatting. You know, Sierra's
comforting about his brother and
he talks about the tree that he planted
using her hair to wipe the tears away which is an interesting
I've ever seen that. I'm going to try that next time.
Next time I cry I'm going to do that.
Then I'm going to send it to you.
You don't cry around me unless we're watching
something together. I don't usually cry
around people. When I'm by myself, I sob.
Occasionally you can catch me. But I'm good
at like when you look up. You look up
and think about something funny.
But like looking into the night
into the light when you have to sneeze?
Yes, it is, actually.
It is.
Yeah, but the big thing that Carl, you know,
the harder one about this anniversary in particular is in the past,
he's had Lindsay to lean on.
He's had Lindsay to comfort him.
They planted a tree together for his brother.
And you forget that, like, they were friends as well for a very long time.
Not even when they were dating, but they were just really tight.
So this is the first time and it's got to feel different,
trying to ruminate on all these things and these emotions and feelings by
himself. So Sierra comforting him is really nice to see. And you know what? Didn't disagree. Carl and
Sierra would make a great couple. They, that's a striking couple. Does it make sense?
Interesting. We've seen that in the trailer where Carl talks about being attracted to her and flirting
with her and all those things. It'll be interesting to see what Sierra says to that. I know. I'm not,
do I see it happening? No. Not a millionaires. Do they be a good looking couple though?
Sure. Yeah. Sure. Sure. But I could actually see them.
getting along to in a relationship, but
I do weirdly. It all, it weirdly
lines up. It weirdly does
make sense, but it also
truly does not. It's this weird middle
ground. If I get it, but I don't get it.
You know? Yeah, it's a funny place
to be, but we get to Jesse
and West, and
I wish West would speak up more
about it. Because
he's doing a little now. And it's like,
if you're going to do this much, just do it all.
And just tell him how you feel about this whole situation.
Because of what Jesse's saying, too,
Like, Jesse, you should be able to look at the situation and go, this isn't right for me and
balance for the sake of Lexi to protect her and her feelings.
You should bow out of this thing because you start out with, I'm just trying to get through
today incident free.
You shouldn't have to walk on eggshells with your partner.
That's not a good relationship.
So you're concerned about doing something dumb because you simply can't go a day without
checking somebody out.
Like, this is where you lose people.
It's like, look, dickhead, you can.
just not check someone out you can just not look at her ass you'll be okay you'll survive so when he
says things like that i'm like you don't hear yourself you're not ready and you're fucking this
girl over because you're not ready but trying to convince her and yourself that you are ready
don't do it run away lexie this guy is concerned that he's not able to get through a party and
then he's pissed off because she knows how many followers that you're following as yeah said
but it's getting it's getting to a point yeah it is tame and that does happen and that's fine
but it is it is getting to a point where the more that he talks about it and in the past it was
always like questions like hey what do you guys think about this or i'm not really sure how to feel
about this now it's starting to turn into i can't believe that she's making me do this like it seems
a little out there it seems a little unhinged he's got a different tone about it but he's still
telling the same people he's telling west and he's saying it loud enough so that page
here or two, we're getting to a point where you're pulling these people in, and it's going
to be their problem as well. At first, it's just an isolated issue. Like, hey, if you want to be
an asshole to a girl that you're dating, that's your fucking fault. You're going to have to deal
with that when that eventually comes to fruition. But now you're bringing everybody else in the
house into it. You've got West. You've got Paige. This is going to be a bigger issue for them.
They're now going to have some responsibility in this because they're hearing the way that you're
talking about her and not doing anything. Now, obviously, you can turn to West. And it's
a lot easier being a guy in this situation.
We've already talked about the girl code.
You can turn to West and be like, well, what do you want me to do?
You know what I mean?
Like, I'm hearing what he's saying.
I'm giving some feedback.
I am asking questions and I'm giving him a different type of tone.
Fine.
That's, dudes always handle it that way.
But the girls in the house, when they know what's going on and they're not telling Lexi,
they're not doing anything about it.
They're allowing Sierra and Jesse to continue to flirt.
That's a problem.
That's going to turn into something else.
It's just, it's shaping up to be so much worse than it ever had to be.
because the signs are all there
and I'm not going to give the dudes a pass
for not speaking up on it and just like
I'm not going to give the girls a pass for not
you know
it's just if they weren't
egging it on when Lexi wasn't there
it's a totally different situation
because they were it changes
I think that they figured that
after the toe sucking incident
and the hearing that he was
flirting with Sierra heavily and it's only been a couple
of weeks that it would make
logical sense for Lexi to say
oh no this is not for me let's break up and then the rest of the season would have been way different
because it probably would have been like the aftermath of all of that does jesse just go back to
fully himself and he's just ignoring lexie in the house and he's still flirting with sierra and flirting
with every girl that walks to the door and how does that make lexie feel it's a completely different
feel for the season and i figured that the rest of the house is like uh well that was fun ball lasted
but it's got to be over now and when she came back and when they came back and found out that
she met his parents they're like what the fuck is going on i think it's got a different feel
to it now because they didn't expect this I mean that's literally what page says I
mean she makes some great points as she tends to do she says look she's 26 and the
follower thing it gives 26 energy I would have showed up to somebody's house and knocked
in the door and said who the fuck is in there so yeah if you really like her Jesse
that shit should not matter right like that's the big question there if you really care
about this whole thing then this should brush off your shoulder you shouldn't even
think twice like yeah never dealt with that before
whatever that's that's the big wake up moment where it's like if you have these reservations
because of this this isn't working if you didn't give a fuck that means you really are into this
that's like such a great test right there but the fact that page is then like dude you've only
known her for a month so these revelations that you're getting to that you don't like this
is fucking nuts like that's the bottom line like it's crazy that you're doing this and playing
these mental gymnastics to try to figure out a way to make this work when you're saying
what you already know.
You just refuse to
fucking grow up
and break up with the girl,
but whatever.
Because we end with Paige and Sierra,
and it's just more Craig talk.
More of the don't let him steal your shine.
And don't dim for him is what I wrote down.
Like,
don't dim that light.
There's no reason to.
And it's clear that he's not supporting
in the way that you want to.
Oh, you wrote that down.
I said don't dim for him.
Don't dim for him.
Look at you.
That's a T-shirt.
You're a real girl's girl.
I am.
I try to be.
Yeah, don't dim for him, ladies.
I appreciate that.
Yeah, I try.
But yeah, how do we trademark their copyright?
I don't know.
I just copyrighted it.
But she's like, do you want to live in Charleston?
She's like, no, I don't want to fucking live in Charleston.
And he's saying that he has no problem moving to New York City.
But then, you know, as we get closer or as we get further down the line, things start to change.
Now he's talking more about Charleston.
And then she drops the, I'm the breadwinner.
Why the fuck would I move?
there. It's like, I'm not sure if the finances, like if the breadwinner, you move to the
breadwinner, I think the bottom line is, you want that life. Great. You deserve it. You
fucking worked for it. Go get it. You need someone's going to say. You guys don't want the same life.
Okay. It doesn't work. It just doesn't work. And we talked about it like too many times.
So watching her kind of get to this revelation of like realizing that it's probably not the right
fit anymore. She's like, you know, I think about
breaking up and like, I love Craig and I don't
want to be with anybody else. When I think about that,
it makes me sad. But then I feel
like I'm being gaslit. She was like,
is he still your person? And she
says, I don't know. And
that's your answer. If you don't know,
then no, he's not. Yep,
that's it. That's it.
But we don't have to dig through that
one too much. I mean, you guys know where, you're when.
But yeah, it's
an interesting. It's just an interesting
season. It's wacky as fuck.
I'm enjoying it though. I love
it. I think it's a great
season, but it's just very
different than what we're used to
in the past. It's taking some weird turns, but
let's get to some questions.
I got to do this one first. From
Nagelmander, dude,
what was Jesse doing to Lexi's arm during
the car greeting kiss? I don't
fucking know. I hope there's more questions
in here because there's a ton of questions in here, but
I hope more people realize what was going on.
Feel my pain. Oh, here you go.
Jacqueline Mitchell Crest.
Do you think Carl was deleted any text walking down the stairs?
I do.
Shooter does.
I don't know.
From Amanda Spitzano,
it's weird that Lindsay relayed her argument with Carl to Turner.
No.
Knowing her, no.
No.
That's a very Lindsay move.
She's very open about things that piss her off.
This is actually a very funny question because I never really know the answer.
Unless it's like a party going on,
but from Zoe Kudla-Polet,
what the fuck are they getting delivered to the house every week?
there are so many boxes there are so many goddamn boxes and i know that like for parties they have
blow up things and they have streamers and they have all these different things and they have costumes
and shit that come in i don't think there's like a party this week they're going to see kyle dj at a bar
so i don't know is it just like food i i don't know what they waters i don't know like do they run
through all that shit every weekend like how much stuff do they have that they have to take things
back to new york to their little apartments like
i don't know man it's it's pretty crazy yeah uh from lost in 88 team carl or team lindsay
with the tech situation here's the beauty of it team nobody you don't have to take a team
i lean a little bit towards team lindsay just because i i think lindsay's great but you don't have
to pick a team it's the beauty of it just a fun it was just a one-off with with no repercussions
because they're not together doesn't matter uh from courtney bridal rush does carl o lindsay any
explanations.
I mean, yeah.
If they're a little murky, I think so.
It's a little murky.
Like they, if she thought that they were together and she got some bad info, it's
it's something that should be cleared up just for everybody's sake that's involved.
Yeah, I don't think that's a problem.
Yeah, I agree with that.
And we'll just do one more.
It's just a statement from Kathy Hodes.
Loved when the guys went out to support Carl and his grief.
And you know what?
There is something nice about bros, supporting bros.
supporting bros when they're going through it.
Well, not only that, but Petravan said
Paige and Sierra noticing that Carl didn't make
his bed immediately clocking that something is wrong.
Love that. We love it too.
That's what I said earlier.
You might hate some of these people,
but they love each other, and there's something
to be said about a cast that actually cares
about each other. It makes for a better show
as we've seen.
So we'll see, I don't know
where this season goes. And that's fun.
I like shows.
like that where it's in a good way. Yeah, totally. It's like what's going to happen
about the outlook. I don't know what's going to happen next week, but I'm excited to
see. Yeah, it's going to be interesting. It's going to be real interesting to see where we go.
But it's all I got. You got anything else?
Nope.
That's our show, bro. It's got to go.

Yeah, like Amy thinks that, you know, Joe Pesci was miscast in Goodfellas, and I don't.
He's too old.
Let's not forget that Paul thinks that Dude, too, is overrated.
It is.
