Starting point is 00:00:00 I say it every week now, but especially right now. But I think you could argue across the board. This is the best show on Bravo right now. And this is one of the better shows on the network, period. Yeah, yeah, they're really moving in the right direction. I'm also very, very excited because the end of the week for us looks so much nicer to handling next gen on a Thursday instead of talking about the Valley. I'm actually going to look forward to Thursdays.
Starting point is 00:00:27 I'm going to look forward to Thursday mornings when I watch this. As there's a drive in a deep left field by Castellanos, it will be a... Oh man, it's 8 o'clock. And so that'll make it a... I don't need the spotlight. I shine just fine. Hi, I'm Karma. And yes, I am a bitch.
Starting point is 00:00:47 Brob Bros. Good afternoon, everybody, and welcome back to another episode of Prob Bros. Your favorite podcast from The Bros for everybody, for whoever wants to listen. I am your co-host, Steele Russell, joined as always by the one and only... Thanks, Guter. What's up, dude? You're welcome. You're very welcome.
Starting point is 00:01:07 I'm happy to be here. Did you say that one? Oh, you're just welcome for being here. Okay. Hey, you said, thanks, Scooter. I said, you're welcome. No, thanks, Thanksgiving. Thanks, Gooder.
Starting point is 00:01:16 Thanksgiving. I understand, but the way it came out, you were thanking me. So I thought it was nice to say, you're welcome. Just take it, dude. Don't tell me to take it. All right? You don't tell me to take it. Oh, yeah.
Starting point is 00:01:27 Come on now. Yeah, we finally got the system down for this show. it only took nine weeks. The skipping around doesn't bother me as much anymore. And again, the skipping around never really bothered me. It was just from the recap standpoint. It was so tough to focus on what's going on. Very hard to take notes, but I figured it out.
Starting point is 00:01:46 I don't think I have ADHD, but this show made me feel like I did. So maybe I do. Maybe, oh, could you imagine if I went and got diagnosed and it was just problems that I've had my whole life? And next gen is the reason why I figured out that I had something was because I was having a hard time focusing. That would be fantastic. What if I just came out a completely different person?
Starting point is 00:02:06 And all of a sudden, I was cheerful and happy all the time. Oh, that'd be weird. I wouldn't like that. Yeah, I don't think, I don't think I don't think that's too much.
Starting point is 00:02:15 That'd be too much. Sorry. What is it? Microdose. I microdose happiness. I'm about that. That's a very funny premise. That sounds like a satirical movie in a world where everyone's just drab and just
Starting point is 00:02:29 microdose happiness. Yeah, microdose happiness. Oh, dude. that's like a futuristic, everybody's online, dead internet theory, and your brain is plugged in and you microdose happiness here and there because there's too much serotonin going everywhere. Like that's where we end up with all of the people online watching TikToks
Starting point is 00:02:46 is that everybody has like a massive problem and you have to microdose happiness via online. Black Mirror episode. Fuck, yeah. Let's make a movie out of it. At least if we make a movie out of something, we just become like crazy, like great showrun. runners or something or movie runners. Movie runners doesn't make any sense.
Starting point is 00:03:06 Producers, I guess, would still be the same thing. And then we don't have to cover like OC anymore. We'd still do the other shows, but we could just pick and choose. We're just kind of piggybacking off of the end of our OC episode where we don't have to cover anymore. Yeah, we're still shaking off the O.C. of it all. Yeah. But this is a very different show. This is an exciting show.
Starting point is 00:03:23 I love this cast, all of them. I think that you have one of the best TV villains in Charlie. I think he is just a godsend for reality. reality TV. I think everyone's kind of finding their role. They're kind of settling in. Brooks is starting to show up a little bit more. Like I really don't have an issue with anybody on this cast. Like I obviously is Brooks showing up with Brooks than he has. I mean, I'm at a point now with Brooks or I'm not like get him off the show. I'm just like, all right. He's there. Um, which is fine because everyone else shows up enough. And you have a lot of captivating trauma. And I think a lot of it has to do
Starting point is 00:03:58 with the age because you're seeing interesting things like, you know, Ariata, freshly single, she's into Liam, but there's the bad boy in the group. He's kind of fun to flirt with. And oh, Hudson's being a bitch, kick him out of the group chat. Like, they don't shy away from these things. And, you know, a lot of shows, you wouldn't see somebody change their seat to go sit with the asshole in the group because they want to save face. They'll look like shit in the media. These kids don't think that far ahead.
Starting point is 00:04:26 So they're like, yeah, I traded my first class ticket. I'm going to go sit back there. What do you mean? There's a lot of speculation now. Oh, that's not great. because I'm kind of into Liam and he's into me and now this whole thing's kind of blowing up. Maybe I shouldn't have done that.
Starting point is 00:04:37 There's no foresight. So they just do the stupid shit. It's great. They definitely do the stupid shit. And I do. It's a great place to be because Ariana, freshly single, we already know her long story in history with Hudson. She's now enjoying herself.
Starting point is 00:04:53 But she is doing what a lot of people do when they get out of a long relationship. They found a guy who's very good and they like them a lot. But they don't want to get into that relationship. So they also self-sabotage and they go after things that they didn't used to go after, i.e. Charlie. So it's actually relatable. And it's fun to watch. And we don't know how Ariane is going to handle it. I mean, you know Charlie's going to press and get things into a very uncomfortable situation.
Starting point is 00:05:18 Liam's going to be in a very weird spot. I'm going to feel bad for him at some point. And now his best friend who's a girl is very involved. There's so much going on here with Kendall. Yeah. I don't think poor Kendall anymore, though, because you know what? I figured out today when she had that lunch, that brunch that she was talking about, she's kind of on the cast now, like in a bigger way.
Starting point is 00:05:40 I really like it. Everybody. I think she's great. I just like poor Kendall, because she is in love with Liam. The tradeoff is you might lose the quote unquote love of your life in Liam, but you get to be on reality TV. So that's kind of cool if that's what you wanted. So I think it's a good tradeoff for her.
Starting point is 00:05:56 Yeah, maybe. I don't know. It depends how in love with Liam she actually is. But she's definitely in love with the guy. And those scenes are such a weird feeling to watch because I'm like, oh, that's, it feels like a movie. I felt bad. I used to feel bad. Early on when she was introduced, it was tough.
Starting point is 00:06:14 Like the puppy dog eyes staring at him talking about it. She even dropped the wily in the distance. Yeah. Did you catch the weed? Yeah. Oh, boy. She's in for a world to hurt. Yeah, no.
Starting point is 00:06:26 But it's funny now. It's kind of evolved for me where I did feel really bad. and then it was really uncomfortable, and now it's very funny to me. So I'm happy that we've transitioned this far. That's a good thing for me. That ski trip is going to be an absolute shit show, and I cannot wait for that.
Starting point is 00:06:42 But that's the thing. We're going skiing next week. Like the next two weeks will probably be ski trip and probably until the end of the season, maybe a little bit when we get home. It's going to be very interesting. And usually these episodes are just kind of set up episodes. Like things are happening here and there.
Starting point is 00:06:58 Even a set up episode is good with this show. Like there's so much going on. And it's a fun time. Shy is the other one that we talked about last week. Like I know I just talked about Kendall, like kind of finding her way and getting into this group. And now she's going to be on the show. Shy going into the season was nothing. He was an acquaintance.
Starting point is 00:07:14 Even before Bravo con, Riley said as much, you have acquaintances. That whole situation with him becoming friends with Charlie and everybody having opinions about it, it's forcing conversations. He's becoming a different person. And now he's even more entrenched in this group. So now he's got a bigger role in the show. I'm happy to see that. Like I love the developments that we've been seeing from all of them. Like Charlie just being like persona non grata in the beginning of the season,
Starting point is 00:07:38 now he's all the sudden very central and people are all talking to him. Like the way the ebbs and flows of this show work, it just hits so well. I completely agree. And I think that that's part of a big part of why it's so enjoyable. And to shy, yeah, dude, great character arc this season. And I've shit on him a couple times. We give him shit here and there as far as. I still don't really like them.
Starting point is 00:07:59 that much, but I thought that he did a really great job in this episode in particular. Standing his round against Brooks, who I don't understand why people think he's scary. He's not. He's very not scary, but it worked really well. And I think that shy kind of just went up a bunch of levels in my book. I agree. I think he's worked his way into being one of the, uh, I don't even know, like, we did a power rankings as far as like top tier goes.
Starting point is 00:08:20 This would be so tough. I think it inter, like it changes every week. But I think that's the side of a great cast is when you're like, I kind of want to see all of them on screen. but we start out with Ava signing her lease and like this group chat thing I'd love so much. I don't know why, but it's just so satisfying that they, we all feel a certain way about Hudson and to see the group echo that and be like, you know what, kick him out of here.
Starting point is 00:08:46 Get the fuck out of this group. Riley, do your thing. Riley kicks him out. Texts Riley. Hudson texts her, hey, what the fuck. No answer. Go fuck yourself. Well, that's.
Starting point is 00:08:56 And if you've ever been removed from a group, or you remove somebody from the group. You see it pops up. Riley removed Hudson from the group. Okay. He must have gotten the information that he was removed from Riley somewhere. Who do you think he texted?
Starting point is 00:09:08 Charlie. Yep. It's either Charlie or shy, but I imagine it was probably Charlie. I don't believe for a second and especially when we get to Hudson's professional he's wearing those stupid fucking leather pants. Oh, for two, dudes wearing leather pants
Starting point is 00:09:20 while doing a confessional. Danny was the first. Now we've got this dickhead. Sitting down only doing confessions hasn't actually been on the show since the second episode when he was at the pool hall maybe it was the third episode
Starting point is 00:09:33 six or seven weeks like what are you doing why are I know he's like that's the thing is we're talking to Gia about her relationship with Christian Christian's barely on the show he doesn't even need to be on the show we can just talk about him that's totally fine Hudson
Starting point is 00:09:50 should be on the show we can just talk about him like just elaborately like talk about about Hudson in whatever way you want to, he doesn't have to be here. He doesn't have to be doing confessionals. I don't know why he's here anymore. I have no idea,
Starting point is 00:10:04 except, you know, to see pictures and clips of him being rich and his Lamborghini setting fire and all of that stuff, which I think is funny because it's kind of canon fodder at this point. It just gives the rest of the people in the group a reason to take digs at him. But I'm at the point now where I'm questioning Mr.
Starting point is 00:10:26 Zaxby. whatever his name might be. Dude, I don't care if I'm a fucking bazillionaire. My kids are not getting a fucking Lambo. I'm going to buy you a piece of shit, safe SUV with 80 to 100,000 miles on it. And that's your first car. A lamb, like, damn it, this is, it's not his fault. He's a douchebag.
Starting point is 00:10:48 No, well, well, maybe it is. But it's definitely his dad, too. But, like, point to me one billionaire that seems to be a good, parent. I do have clients that I cook for that are actually legit, cool people. Okay. All right.
Starting point is 00:11:04 I'll give you that. But, you know, well, well known. There's two families that I cook for that, like, they're shockingly down to earth is super nice.
Starting point is 00:11:12 I do have to give. Are they billionaires? Yes. Okay. All right. I'll give you that. This guy, yeah,
Starting point is 00:11:18 Hudson, I'm fucking over. I just don't care. Like, you can do so many things about him. Ariane is clearly the star. We can talk about her. we can talk to her about Hudson.
Starting point is 00:11:28 We do not need to have him on the show. I agree. I just, the gratification of him going to a confessional and making fun of his leather pants only lasts so long. It's not worth it for me. Just a quick hit. It's not enough.
Starting point is 00:11:41 But you get to Charlie and Omar and they're talking business. This is like, has just the shadiest fucking vibe. I know. I do too because it just seems so sketchy. It's like two dudes that they want to be the sketchy businessmen. They want to be those guys.
Starting point is 00:11:59 It's like, ooh, we rolled over on this guy and got him for everything. Oh, we lowballed the shit out of these people. They had no choice. They had to give it to us. It's like watching a mafia try to set up shop. This is the family. It's me and Oba. We're growing.
Starting point is 00:12:16 We're to start this club. I didn't really like that space, but you know what we could do, we could offer them half of what they're asking. And they might be in a bad spot. They have to say, yes. Ha, ha, ha. It's like watching villains plan their evil scheme. It is really enjoyable.
Starting point is 00:12:31 It truly is. That's all you get from it too. I love that they're trying to come across. I think you nailed it. They are completely fine with being the sketchy businessman. I think that they're trying to come across is like they know what they're doing. Like, hey, you know, there's nobody that wants this warehouse. Nobody wants this building.
Starting point is 00:12:49 Like we went and saw it. There's nothing there. We could lowball them. It seems like they might be in debt. Like they're using all of the trigger words. to show that maybe one of the, I think Omar probably went to business school, I doubt Charlie did.
Starting point is 00:13:01 And they have an idea of what they're doing, and they think that it's just going to kind of gloss over a lot of the people watching. And they're going to be like, wow, these guys know what they're doing. Everybody's sitting here like, nah,
Starting point is 00:13:10 you did not need to include that comment about the low ball offer. Like, hey, we can low ball this. You're not even talking about what part of the city it's in. There's no prospects for it's in a good spot. It's right near these other clubs so we can get some spillover fact in the middle, and we can do this and that and whatever. Like you're not actually talking about the business.
Starting point is 00:13:27 You're just talking about potentially scheming around somebody who has debt and getting something for cheap. That makes you look sketchy. Like you are being sketchy and I know you are, you want to be sketchy, but you don't need to come across that way. You could just completely lie and they're not lying about this, which is very funny. So that means they don't know the difference between good business and being sketchy, which is going to bode well in the future for us.
Starting point is 00:13:49 For us, not for them. But it's fun, yeah. Like watching these like devious data center developers that go, So local news station, like, I know what's good for this community. And I'm going to shove this data set it down people's throats. No, don't put it near my house. But trust me, I'm doing this for them. That's that vibe.
Starting point is 00:14:07 Yeah, don't worry about it. We'll put a hub on the back of your house. You won't have to pay electric for like two years. We'll handle everything from there. It'll be fully fine. You're going to be so good. Hopefully you don't like water. No one's going to get cancer in your house.
Starting point is 00:14:20 It's going to be great. Yeah, and everyone's looking forward to these things. The one other thing that comes from this, is Hudson getting kicked out of the group chat is brought up. And Charlie is very much going the route of that's not my responsibility. If Ariana wants to bang me, I have no allegiance to Hudson or Liam. They can both go fuck themselves.
Starting point is 00:14:38 But interesting because Hudson in his confessional. And I was like bullshit. But it's kind of confirmed when Charlie clocks it later. He's like, actually what I'm doing is manipulating Charlie before he manipulates me. I was like, you're not that smart. Turns out he might actually be doing that. The problem is Charlie is 10 steps ahead of you. At the end of the episode, Charlie's like, oh, yeah, I think he's trying to use me.
Starting point is 00:15:06 So we'll see how that goes for it. He's going to fucking, if he knows that that's going on, he's going to ruin Hudson. That's why you don't get involved with these people. I know. You're not prepared to take on a Charlie. And that's the thing is the edge isn't necessarily the Charlie's some mastermind that he's 10 steps ahead. he's ultimately 10 steps ahead to begin with because he doesn't care. He truly does not give a fuck about you, about Liam, about Ariana even, the rest of the group,
Starting point is 00:15:38 his standing in the group. I know he talks about it a little bit later. It seems like everybody's in a good place. It's just it's easier for him when everybody believes his bullshit and allows it. And as soon as that happens, he goes right back to where he was. And it is just an easier pill to swallow. but he doesn't really give a fuck. So Hudson doing all of this and trying to strategize.
Starting point is 00:16:00 Now, confessionals as we know do happen a little bit after the fact. So I don't think like when Hudson's sitting down, he's like, hey, you know, I know exactly what Charlie's doing. I'm going to keep my ending closer to me. He already knows what's going on.
Starting point is 00:16:12 Like the whole Friendsgiving thing is past. Rumors of, you know, Ariana switching out her first class seat so that she can sit with Charlie on the ride back to New York. All of those things have already hit Hudson. So when he's saying this now, that's why I don't believe him because shit's already kind of played out.
Starting point is 00:16:26 So when you're saying, oh, yeah, I'm keeping him close to me and I'm making him think that he's my friend so that I can keep tabs. Charlie's talking about the fact that you're not even trying to get back with Ariana. You're not talking to her. You're just pissed off because her and Liam are bringing carrots and Brussels sprouts to the Friendsgiving and they got lumped in together. Now you got kicked out of the group because he made a stink about that. And now you're using Charlie to try to keep tabs on her. You're not trying to win her back. You're just trying to keep tabs on her and lay out these weird boundaries.
Starting point is 00:16:53 So Charlie really doesn't care. The rest of the group doesn't fucking care at this point. They don't even talk about you. They talk about Liam. It's as if Ariana and Liam are boyfriend and girlfriends, and Charlie's trying to get Ariana to cheat on Liam with her. Like that's where everything is kind of come. You're not even in the picture anymore, buddy.
Starting point is 00:17:11 You got kicked out of the group chat. You're going to get kicked off the show. So any of your quote unquote strategies don't matter. They're not good strategies either. You're not doing something right. You're really bad at this, actually. but love anytime we get to give Brooke Shields a shout out. What a star.
Starting point is 00:17:29 Oh, yeah. Rowan. Rowan's great too. I just love her vibe. She's a lot of fun. I think it's hilarious watching everybody cook and, you know, we're asking Siri, which, hey, I would rather people try things, get in the kitchen and mix it up.
Starting point is 00:17:41 Use Siri, use whatever you have to, you know, to expand your personal cookbook a little bit, but it was really funny. Like, how long do I do this? How long do I do that? But love to see it. But anyway. Amira facetimes your grandma. Kevin's coming for Friendsgiving,
Starting point is 00:17:57 also coming for Thanksgiving. But the big story in the Friendsgiving prep is we go to Liam and Ariana, who for what it looks like are straight up eating out. They definitely point. At the very least banged. Yeah. Definitely point. But they're like, you know,
Starting point is 00:18:18 smooching in front of people. They're preparing their dish together. It's like very cute. coupley kind of shit, which, look, I love them together, but God, this is building up so nicely. Yeah. Entertainment standpoint.
Starting point is 00:18:34 I'm like, oh, he's going to get fucking flattened. It really is. And it's just, it's all going to hinge on how Liam reacts. Because if he doesn't blame Ariana for flirting with Charlie and they did actually hook up, which Charlie's just kind of laying it out there, like making jokes about it, they could have already hooked up at this point. I think both of us think that they definitely did at some point. In Vegas, right after Vegas, whatever it might be.
Starting point is 00:18:59 Charlie's made enough jokes now where he's convinced me that this happens. I think Liam's going to take it out on Charlie, but in a very weird way, that's the wrong move. It's really Ariana's fault. And I think the rest of the group is going to kind of be somewhat aligned in that regard. Like, yeah, Charlie's going to Charlie, but Ariana, what are you doing? That's what they're saying already. They're all kind of like, what the fuck is he do? Yeah, so she's going to be the one that has to take the hit.
Starting point is 00:19:25 And Charlie just gets to sit, especially at the reunion, he gets to sit on the stage and just have a smile on. He can put his sunglasses on and smile the whole time. Be like, I don't know what you want for me. It's not like I did anything. She told me that her and Liam weren't even dating. And we see that too while we're kind of going through this episode in the prep. Even before we start prepping for Friendsgiving, she's saying, yeah, we're not dating. We're not boyfriend and girlfriend.
Starting point is 00:19:45 I told him to kind of slow down a little bit on that. It keeps the door open for Charlie. So Charlie's still not really in the wrong. Like, yes, he's a dickhead. Yes, he's an asshole. But he's still not in the wrong. So when Liam inevitably gets pissed at Charlie, because he's the one stepping over,
Starting point is 00:20:00 we're going to get full circle on these boundaries. And it's going to be very funny. The only thing that Charlie's doing wrong is burning Hudson. Like you could make an argument there where it's like, hey, you claim to be friends with Hudson. But because of Hudson, that's not really applicable. Because you ran away to Atlanta. And you're being a little bitch.
Starting point is 00:20:19 And you're trying to impose these sanctions on Lee. him and Charlie, I know exactly what Charlie's thinking when it comes to Hudson. He doesn't respect him at all. He's going, dude, I told you all last season I wanted to fuck your girlfriend, all last season. And now you're complaining to me about this other dude. Yeah. You're such a little cuck. Like, no, I'm not taking you seriously.
Starting point is 00:20:42 And yes, I'm going to try to bang your girl because that's how his mind works. So Hudson, that would be the only route to go where it's like he's doing something kind of dirty. And I mean, it's dirty overall. But as far as like he says, and I hate to agree with the villain, but like he doesn't owe anybody shit, really. Nah. It's not really his responsibility here. Yes, he's adding to the chaos. And yes, it's kind of dirty.
Starting point is 00:21:07 But as far as like ramifications, like you said, Ariana is going to catch the shit on this one. He's not. And the little shit that he does catch, he's not going to care. So no. This is one of those things. Agreed. This to me feels like one of those things where Ariana. was in a relationship.
Starting point is 00:21:23 It's similar to what you said, where it's like the self-sabotage thing. But it's like, God, I just had it. It just went away. Oh, man. There was more to that point of like, you know,
Starting point is 00:21:38 she's in a relationship. She's the good guy. But, oh, it's just kind of building off of that where it's like, it's fun to flirt with Charlie. And it's like, ooh,
Starting point is 00:21:48 this is kind of exciting. I'm like, he's the bad boy. But it's one of those things that the, second you actually do it, you're going to go, oh, fuck, and everything's going to get up. And you're going to say in the future, that was totally not worth it. It's one of those. So obviously, she's going to step in shit. All sides are pointing to, but that's what it seems
Starting point is 00:22:07 like to me where it's like, ooh, this is fun. And then it's like, oh, went too far. Not fun anymore. God damn it. Yeah. Yeah, that's exactly what's going to happen. Again, she's just going to be in a situation with the rest of the group looking at her like, we're kind of told you. But I think she's also going to get the grace of what we talked about earlier. Like, yeah, I mean, we wanted you to be single. And I don't think that Liam, aside from Brooks, has enough friendships within the group that it's going to be split down the middle. I think more than anything, yeah, more than anything, it's just going to be discussed about why would you choose Charlie? Like, why did you do that to yourself?
Starting point is 00:22:40 But I don't think it's going to be that big of a deal within the group. I think it's really just going to be Liam out on an island. Brooks isn't going to speak up for him. We know that. Brooks already, he's got a very minor issue with shy. and he immediately bowed down. So that's clearly not going to work for you. So it's really just going to be Liam out on the island by himself,
Starting point is 00:22:56 trying to go against Charlie and trying to convince other people that it was fucked up. But no one else is really going to care that much because at the end of the day, you guys weren't dating. We've asked Ariana enough. You guys aren't actually boyfriend and girlfriend. There's no exclusivity. She just got out of a very long relationship. We didn't like Hudson to begin with.
Starting point is 00:23:13 So she's just fucking around. She wants to enjoy your life. Like, what are we supposed to do? Yeah, it's kind of slimy over, but we still love it. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah, so it's, it's really just going to put Liam in a very weird place where he's going to be jaded against her. He's going to be jaded against the rest of the group.
Starting point is 00:23:28 And I don't know what's going to come up that. I think that's going to be the most interesting thing because everything else is pretty easily predictable. Yeah. But when it comes to Liam, I don't know which way he's going to go because he's still new and he's still new in the group. Everybody knows he's a nice guy and he liked Ariana, but where is he going to go from here? Is he immediately just going to turn to Kendall and be like, you know what? Fuck everybody else. You and I are getting married next week.
Starting point is 00:23:49 She would love that. That would be perfect for her. But I don't think that's going to happen. I think we're going to get a little bit of an anger streak going on here. We might. We might see a different side of Liam. There might be a little spark plug in there. Who knows?
Starting point is 00:24:01 That's tantalizing. Yeah, I would love to see it. From the parents behind law and order comes a mystery the whole family can enjoy. I guess she just gets along with the quote-unquote boomers as she says. They are not boomers, but that was funny. Kendall arrives, and we get more talk of Prez and Georgia. Georgia keeps making jokes about getting married to Prez. Shy and Ava are awkward as shit because of shy trying to get a smooch the other night. But the big thing is the Brooks and Shy debacle.
Starting point is 00:29:52 and I'm glad we go to hash this one out because it didn't need to drag on for that long. No. And it's more of the same. Brooks is like, I'm not happy. Like dinner went and, you know, I don't want to be at odds to you all the time.
Starting point is 00:30:05 Shy, I was actually proud of for actually speaking up. For sure. Look, you made me question like my character. Like, I actually have been kind of in a hole because of the things that you said to me. And I'm done walking out on eggshells around you.
Starting point is 00:30:17 I was like, fuck yeah. All right. Get it out there. Say exactly what you mean. It was a good moment for shy. it was it was a soft touch but it was stirred and somehow that worked really well with brooks i like i look i i think that brooks did bow down i don't think that brooks likes conflict and i think
Starting point is 00:30:34 that some people labeled him to somebody who likes conflict i really don't think he does he just not everything that we've seen he gets very anxious about it he doesn't want to do it i figured he wouldn't even want to have this conversation with shy i thought that he wouldn't have been worth his time or at least it would have presented as something like ah it's not worth my time to talk to shy who cares but I think deep down with Brooks, I don't think he really wants to have issues with people. And the way that shy went about it was good enough. And I was proud of him too.
Starting point is 00:31:00 It was good enough. It got through to Brooks. And Brooks's takeaway was I didn't think that shy was as sensitive as I am. Clearly he is. And I think that's true. I think it was genuine. But I think that shy did a very good job of conveying those feelings, but also sticking up for himself.
Starting point is 00:31:13 And in a weird way, Brooks respected it. And I think it was going to be resolved either way. I think Brooks was going to move on. But this is a much better way to move on. because now they can be friends again. And I want that. I want them to continue all of them in some way to all be friends and move forward with each other.
Starting point is 00:31:27 I agree. That's why the show is so good is because they're actually friends. They actually like hanging out with each other. But the funny thing to me is as it kind of evolves, this Charlie and Ariana thing, you know, the reason that she might catch some shit for this, obviously, again, Liam's going to be kind of the odd man out
Starting point is 00:31:46 and she's going to have to deal with sub stuff. But the biggest thing is just going to, be everyone going, dude, we told you. And also, you know, you got Riley saying, hey, you want to swat seats with me, so you can sit next to Charlie. Like, everybody's keyed in on it. And that's where she's not going to get a lot of grace because everybody's making jokes. You should be able to see through everything and be like, oh, everyone's telling me this is a terrible idea. And yet I keep kind of pushing these boundaries. So at the end of this, if it does shake out that way, she doesn't really have any ground to stand on. Yes, I,
Starting point is 00:32:20 I don't think she's like a terrible person if she does this. Yes, she just got out of that relationship with Hudson. They dated forever. He's a loser. She's trying to figure out her shit. It doesn't make her a terrible person. It is a shitty move.
Starting point is 00:32:31 But I'm curious how much of it's going to hinge on like the groups I told you so factor. Because that could actually with this group in particular, they like to point out when they're right and other people are wrong about things. So I wonder if that's going to be a sticking point of like, we are bad at you because we all fucking told you. We all said this. You claimed one thing did another. And we're mad at you.
Starting point is 00:32:53 And maybe in the process, they warm up to Liam and now their team Liam. Like that's another way this could go. It definitely could go that route. I just don't think it will. I think that there's still going to be behind Oriana. I think that they're already starting to kind of turn to that point where they're making enough jokes about Charlie and Ariana even in front of Liam. So I do think inevitably they're going to have Arianna's back and they're going to
Starting point is 00:33:15 kind of leave Liam out there. But you might get a couple of people that sway over. there might be a couple of people that are like, yeah, you know what? Like Georgia, I could see saying like, what the fuck are you doing, Arianna? I need to support Liam. He's a really nice guy. He could be Amira being a Liam stand in this. Yeah, honestly, Amira could.
Starting point is 00:33:31 I do think she's just going to kind of wash her hands of the whole situation. She doesn't want to be involved in anything that has Charlie stink on it at this point. I think she needs a little bit of time away from Charlie. So she might just completely walk the other direction. But there are a couple of people in the group that you could convince me that would just do it. And there's also a couple of people in the group that would do it, for the show like a riley might be able to just pop out me like you know what yeah i the ariana charlie thing is fucking pissing me off i'm on leum side like i could see something along those lines
Starting point is 00:33:59 if it's a little even and and leum gets a little bit of support that would make for much better show i just think where everybody is they're friends enough with charlie or at least you know close enough with them and they're very close with ariana that they'll just kind of take away like you look everybody's going to make dumb mistakes you were in a long relationship now you learn you move on. You might be able to salvage something with Liam, but the whole thing with Charlie kind of fucked everything up. And that's where we're going to end up going.
Starting point is 00:34:24 That's the character arc that we'll get with Ariana. I think so too. But we get the thankful four game, which just kind of highlights the tension that's beginning to build between Liam and Charlie. It's starting to get a little bit more palpable. Other people kind of keying on it as well. Arianna,
Starting point is 00:34:41 this did not give me a lot of hope. I was like, dude, she rambles on about Charlie for so, long repeating herself, saying the same things. It's like, if I'm Liam, we're going to have a serious talk after that dinner.
Starting point is 00:34:58 Just like, what are we? Where is this going? I don't feel safe and secure at all. And that's what somebody says it. I think he's the one or he's like, he should pull her aside if he has a problem and like, fucking ask about her hanging out with me.
Starting point is 00:35:11 I was like, I agree, actually, especially with where they're at, like they're at Friendsgiving Smoochin in front of Like you can't go and put your foot down. Like you're not at that point where you can be like, hey, knock it off. But you are at a point where you can say, hey, what's going on? Like, is there something I need to be worried about?
Starting point is 00:35:27 Because yeah, dude, you should be panicking right now. Like the writing's on the wall. If you guys weren't there, should climb across this table right now and spooch him. So maybe a conversation's in order. I think a conversation's in order. I just don't know specifically with Liam if he wants to do that on camera. So I agree with you. I think it would probably be something like, hey,
Starting point is 00:35:47 we're going back to my place today right all right cool that whole override back is going to be all about what the fuck that was if we're going to talk about it and i think the way that he would go about it is like look i really like you i want to i want to date you i want to get to a point where we're in each other's lives what's going on with that charlie thing before i really commits anything and then you see what she says and if she lies to you straight up like ah you know it's just he's very flirty and we go back and forth but there's nothing there and then you find out that something happens you can be pissed off and i think that's probably what's going to happen. But I think he does owe it to her and she owes it to him to have that conversation.
Starting point is 00:36:21 I don't think that Liam's that guy, at least not right now, to do it in front of the whole group and the cameras at the same time. So I agree with that. I think you're just kind of calling out right there, but we know Charlie can kind of wiggle his way out of that one. Yeah, I agree with you. I do think, you know, now the more that we're talking about it, putting the pieces together as we go, where she's going to lose support, and this is actually going to be a big sticking point, I think at least with a couple of people. Like one, all right,
Starting point is 00:36:50 they woke up together. They clearly point again. That's not grounds for like, oh, what the fuck's wrong with you? Where you're going to get a lot of shit is the fact that she went and spent Thanksgiving with his family. That's going to be where it's like you went too far.
Starting point is 00:37:06 Like if you were into Charlie, if you weren't into this, you should not have gone over there. Like that's kind of dirty. Like, yeah. Just say you're busy. Don't fucking lead him on like that. That's slimy.
Starting point is 00:37:17 Yeah. As we get the roundup of what everybody did on Thanksgiving. Sounds fun. Really nice. I like the way that Amir did it. Very gossip girl. Georgia dressing up as a candy cane for the Thanksgiving Day parade. hilarious.
Starting point is 00:37:29 She is very funny. She is one of my favorites for just the most random reasons. She is great. And literally just for the random reasons. Like this is her personality. These are things that she does. I love it. I think it's a breath of fresh air, honestly. It's not shit that's being forced for a show. She is just weird. Weird. And I really appreciate it. I do too. I think she's gold. I think she's
Starting point is 00:37:51 reality TV gold for so many reasons that we don't usually praise people for being good on TV. Like when she was in the candy cane, I was like, of course she is. That makes complete sense to me. And I'm glad that she was there. Yep, that's awesome. I would even, like, wouldn't be surprised if she showed up without a float and just like cut the line and just walked out there with the candy can't on. He's like, I'm doing this today. Like, what's happening. Absolutely. We learn about Candy and Todd, which obviously we all saw that in real time going down, but it's Riley's reaction to it all.
Starting point is 00:38:21 And I think we can add this to the mix because she, we talk about it a lot. She's catching a lot of shit for a 22 year old online. Yeah. And I think when you pair, okay, reality TV show, try to figure out your shit, tough time in your life overall. And then you add on to that. Clearly Candy and Todd were having issues. choose so your home life's a little wacky i think it paints a picture as to why we are seeing
Starting point is 00:38:45 the riley that we're seeing and i don't think we should condemn her yet everybody out there that's fucking raging in the comment section no what did riley do like the conversation with georgia was weird she got too drunk she's 22 years old who fucking cares we moved on pretty quick from that she hasn't done anything else that's really bothered me the conversation with shy was very straightforward to the point tell me if she lied she didn't so i don't really care about that I mean, she's not like the most enjoyable person, but I don't think she deserves me painted as like this monster. It's kind of funny, though, in a way,
Starting point is 00:39:15 obviously Candy's no longer on Atlanta, so we don't really get to see the fallout, but seeing it from this perspective, while it's sad and, you know, there's more to it and it's a little bit more nuanced when you go from Riley's perspective, at least we're getting some coverage of it. I mean, we didn't really get a whole lot of coverage.
Starting point is 00:39:31 We didn't see a whole lot. Like, yeah, people did deep dives online, but you don't see a whole lot. You don't really have the interviews. It's not like Candy's talking at length about it. It's not like anybody's chasing down Todd to talk about it. So seeing it from Riley's perspective, we still get our fill of the whole breakup. So we get to understand kind of what's going on.
Starting point is 00:39:47 So that's fine. It fills a hole that we needed. Yeah. Oh, okay. And the weird, not the weird thing. The good thing is if there's anybody to talk to about divorces and, you know, your parents going through some shit. Arianna is a good resource.
Starting point is 00:40:03 Yeah. She's a good person to check good with because she's probably been through. anything that you or your parents will go through in this whole thing. Yeah. We've seen it all. It's all been on TV. And it's been in the tabloids and news sources. And God,
Starting point is 00:40:19 what a messy fucking situation. That is. But good person to talk to, Riley. That's, you got the right first to your corner. Yeah, definitely. That's when we get the run through of where everybody spent Thanksgiving. And that's when, you know, we hear that Ariana was with Liam. And, you know, like that scene where she gets a text message, she's with Liam.
Starting point is 00:40:41 And it's like, I got a tattoo, got the God tattoo. She's like, let me see your tattoo. Show me. Oh, Liam, you're so fucked, dude. You're so. I need to know exactly what's going on with the text. Like, especially with this show. I know we see it with a lot of shows, but this show, it's very, very obvious.
Starting point is 00:41:00 There's got to be something in the contract. Like, why are you showing them your text message? Why are you showing the producers? There's got to be something in there with this group in particular where we have access to all of your text messages. You can't hide anything. Because like, why would we like knowing and I hope there's nothing nefarious going on. Like I hope that wasn't a text message later. I want to believe that she's sitting there with Liam texting Charlie saying show me your tattoo.
Starting point is 00:41:24 That is crazy work. Yeah. But if she did it later in the night and she was alone, it's one thing. Doing it right then and there. That is some. nefarious that we need to get into agreed yeah i get see like weirdly excited you know that's what these shows do you're like ooh this is fucking messy and i it's it's been a while it's been a while yeah it's a feeling it's a good point yeah it feels nice it feels nice to look forward to
Starting point is 00:41:48 not nice things but chaos yeah maybe this is why i like brooks or like him more now because he goes into the cat scale witch and i'm like all right you got because i love that kind of like wacky stuff like the paranormal. I don't know if I believe it. Guys, don't worry. I'm not like some wacky conspiracy theorist, but as far as entertainment value goes, I can go down some ghost rabbit holes.
Starting point is 00:42:10 You're a conspiracy theorist. You're just not wacky. I think that's fair to say. Yeah, well, I don't believe a lot of them. I do like to research them. Also, this is a conspiracy. This is more like, I just mean like paranormal, like that kind of stuff.
Starting point is 00:42:23 Yeah. I like to research it. I don't know if I believe it. So I just don't people think I'm like, that's fair. Out there hunting for Bigfoot. because I don't believe that he's real. But anyway, we get this lunch.
Starting point is 00:42:34 I would say this is Kendall's coming out party. Was this lunch? I think this is where she really solidified herself as a real part of this past. The Royal Wee was a big one. That just again kind of stings because we like I really like Kendall. She seems like a delightful person. She seems like she's got a good head on her shoulders, looks out for her people, keeps to herself, chimes in when necessary, has good things to say.
Starting point is 00:42:58 I really don't have anything bad to say about. about her, but watching her kind of pick apart this whole thing with Charlie and Ariana, she's getting way more information, right? Because she leads off with, oh, Liam speaks very highly of everyone except for Charlie, but, you know, he's really into Ariana. Things are looking. And they're like, ha, ha, okay. Well, yeah, they're definitely flirting.
Starting point is 00:43:19 There's definitely a lot of flirting, you know, but it's just little things. It's just little, like, you know, oh, I'm going to eat your pussy. And he's like, oh, stop it. It's not that serious. I was like, oh, God, dude. I can't like imagine taking that back to Liam yeah right I gotta tell you so hey
Starting point is 00:43:34 yeah and if you're Kendall how do you even handle that like I can only imagine what their dynamic is because I imagine there's been some moments some very uncomfortable moments where there's just the two of them there and they probably had to lay out some boundaries for their friendship if you're Kendall
Starting point is 00:43:50 do you go back to Liam and does it look like you're just trying to kind of wiggle your way back in there maybe be his girl maybe not maybe you're just being I don't know for sure what the dynamic is, but I can guess that there's been some moments there. And it's probably put in some weird situations. But yeah, what a little situation we have Bruin here. Kendall being the eyes and ears for Liam, hearing a little bit more about what's going on with Ariana and Charlie.
Starting point is 00:44:17 And this is coming from their close friends who have seen it firsthand. Liam and Kendall were not in Bravo Khan. We talk about the first class seat, a lot of flirting going on. what do you do? This is not what we expected is what Kendall said. Yeah, yeah, which is such a good line.
Starting point is 00:44:35 That was so funny for so many reasons and not for the reasons that she thought. Like that's just more of like, ooh. That was a slip up. That was a slip up. Yeah, it was. Like that's how she thinks about her and Liam in her head, but she doesn't usually say it out loud.
Starting point is 00:44:50 It does continue to paint this picture. And I think that at the end of all of this, I'm going to feel worse for Kendall. And Liam, like I just, this poor, poor woman. But anyway, it ends with Charlie facetiming shy. And Ariana, we've seen this clip, I think, a billion times. So at this point, it didn't really hit. But Ariana and friend went over to his house late night to Sesh,
Starting point is 00:45:18 that little Sesh, as Charlie says. And just the way he talks, like, I hope Ariana watches it back and goes, like, that's kind of embarrassing that I fuck this guy because all he says all the time. Like people try to say it normally. Oh, do you guys hook up? He's like, do we fuck? Like, ah, shut up. That's where he pisses me off.
Starting point is 00:45:36 But that's what I'm saying. The jokes are getting more frequent. Yeah. It's gotten to that point where they must, there's something happens. What does that mean? Some shenanigans occur. Does that mean her friends came over to Sesh?
Starting point is 00:45:50 Like, that's not just. Smoke weed. That's what I thought. Yeah, it could be. It could be something else. Who knows what's going on over there? But. man the more he makes jokes the more I think things have happened already they already tried to do the
Starting point is 00:46:04 we don't kiss and tell man I'm not talking about this like this is more episodes yeah he absolutely does he he kisses and insinuates is probably what he would necessarily do but that's a good way to put it yeah look I think that shy has learned his lesson I think he's going to stay out of it at least so that's good uh now will he get in the hot water because I think we know what's going to happen and we know how it's all going to blow up. I would have focused on shy for this and see how this works because I think
Starting point is 00:46:34 we're going to get to the reunion and we're going to talk about this scene and everyone's going to say shy knew what was going on and he didn't say anything and now hopefully he turns around he's like, what the fuck did you want me to do? You want me to get involved in your business again? I'm not doing that. This is your hill. This is your battle. You're going to deal with this.
Starting point is 00:46:50 I'm out of this one because he is unfortunately close enough to Charlie where he's going to figure things out pretty quickly and no one else is going to be privy to it even though they know what happens and they just don't want to say it out loud this is going to be the ski trip the ski trip is going to make this all come to the head and we're going to have to see how it works it's it feels so good when you have a cast trip at the right time i know like this is gearing up to be such an eventful ski trip and it's just it's fun when you have that build up to be like ooh they're going to have
Starting point is 00:47:21 to talk about this ship because they're going to be stuck in a house together all we can hope for as they get snowed in. So they really have to sit there and deal with this shit. God. Let's get to some questions. All right. First one up here from Kala Allen. If the brav Rose had to date one of the guys,
Starting point is 00:47:44 which one would it be in why? Liam. Liam in a heartbeat because he would take good care of me and I could ride on his motorcycle. Yeah, that's true. Brooks. because he's got loungeware and I like loungeware.
Starting point is 00:47:59 Okay. Yeah. It looks comfy. It's funny as it is though. Somebody posted like, I guess, um, shy has finally gotten to the point where he's released some of his clothing.
Starting point is 00:48:09 And it looks cool. He did a really good job. But somebody showed that side by side from Brooks's clothing line, his loungeware and Shies. And it was like Charlie and someone else dressed in Shai's line. And it's like, these look like real people. And then you flash over to Brooks's and they're all wearing.
Starting point is 00:48:25 different colors of full loungeware and they're like these look like telotubbies so yeah Brooks is getting one up shy wow maybe I'll check out shy stuff maybe I'll get a a piece by shy yeah that'd be cool yeah we'll see we'll see uh from brie bird is is charlie the love child of jack and Spencer pratt yeah maybe hopefully yeah hopefully he he's able to not go as obviously as far as Jacks went and Spencer Pratt. Yeah. I think that's a good lineup for the two of them. And yes, he's just, he's made for TV.
Starting point is 00:49:03 Agreed. It's Holly Hala. You got two questions. I'll answer them both. One, I would watch a Brooke Don't Cook cooking show teaching her to cook. Get her to all Bravo. I would watch that too. I would be delighted to be the one to teach her to cook.
Starting point is 00:49:19 That would be awesome. But I would definitely watch a Brooke don't cook show. I think anytime you can get Brooke Shields on TV, you should. The second part was what you guys bring as your dish to Friendsgiving. What's your go-to? I'd probably go with dessert, maybe a pie of some kind. I like doing stuffing because some people don't like stuffing,
Starting point is 00:49:40 and I like to make really good stuffing to be like, this is why you should like stuffing. That's a good way. Yeah. Change people's palettes. That's a good one. I like that. This is fucking hilarious.
Starting point is 00:49:53 from Ccon 44 Why did Charlie get a middle-aged lesbian hairstyle this season? C-Con said that, not us. Yeah, I do think it's funny. You see flashbacks when they go back to season one because I never remember these things, but they go back to season one. And it's like, all right, yeah, your hair looks pretty good.
Starting point is 00:50:13 That's solid. The hairstyles nowadays, I don't know what, I don't know what Charlie's thinking. He does look movie. His kids with the TikTok hair. Yep, that's all it is. I don't know why he decided to do it, though. The other part of this is, uh, hi, it's Mikkel.
Starting point is 00:50:30 Is Charlie ever going to consider washing that hair? He does look like someone who does not wash his hair. So that is very true. Yep, agreed. Uh, Susan M. Flowers. Should I start watching? Yes, immediately. If you haven't watched season one, just go back and start from the beginning.
Starting point is 00:50:44 This is a great show. Yeah. Definitely. Yeah, it's a very great show. And we'll end on this one from Shoshi Davis. What other Bravo show do you think would benefit from the next gen? style editing. Not any of the housewives.
Starting point is 00:50:56 No, it's got to be like Southern Charg's style. The new VPR, I think, would do really well. Oh, that's very true. I would say yes. At top of the list, Southern hospitality and new VPR would probably benefit
Starting point is 00:51:11 from this. It would be tough with Summerhouse just because they don't go anywhere. They just stay at the fucking house. You could do it in the city, but. Yeah. Yeah, and the city could work a little. in the city would definitely work.
Starting point is 00:51:25 Those shows, but none of the housewife shows that that would just wouldn't work with them. I don't think Southern Charm would either. Nah. So-ho good. But I was so-ho, I mean, we don't need to change anything about it. No, no, it's good.
Starting point is 00:51:38 Just overt racism. Let's get that off of there. But other than that. Well, we'll see how this shakes out, but we are geared up for quite the ski trip, everybody. So buckle up. We are. We'll see how this shit shakes out.
Starting point is 00:51:52 But that's all. I got. You got anything else? Nope, I'll go here. That's our show. Bro's got to go. Goodbye, Kyle!
