Bros & Shows - Guerdy's Got Receipts (RHOM Full Recap)

Episode Date: July 28, 2025

What's up Bros? Miami is exceptional this season. In this episode, Guerdy has a celebration of life party. Before that, the crew heads to the LGBTQ alliance event. Julia keeps insinuating that she and... Guerdy are on a better path, but we have seen no evidence to support that. Alexia and Todd hang out again and Marysol is not thrilled. At Guerdy's event, she shows her text conversation between Julia and herself to clear up any confusion. The group reacts in different ways. Some of the ladies object entirely, others are conflicted and a couple are team Guerdy. We have no issues with it and the hypocrisy of some of this crew shines through more than ever. But all in all? Details and tickets at festivalofauthors.ca. saying it week after week year after year honestly but this episode is just confirmation this is one of the best franchises out there it's top two right behind salt lake and it's very close for me honestly it's very interesting too because i started to look into other things while watching this because it's so good that i'm like is the production value that much better to compared to other
Starting point is 00:01:24 shows and it's not it just seems like the it's almost like the play on the field is raising levels of the entire show. It's making everybody look good. It's just so good. It's incredible. I can't even put it into words, but I'm going to try for about an hour. Good morning, pros and shows. I'm going to have me my pros and shows. I'm your co-host. Steel Russell, joined as always by the one and only South Beach Goots. What's up, dude? Not much. You know me.
Starting point is 00:02:05 I love these morning podcasts. You know, you just get a little coffee in you, a little breakfast. You're just feeling great. I got a really good energy right now. Part of it is because it's the best show on Bravo right now, and it's just easy to talk about.
Starting point is 00:02:17 It really is. This episode was great, top to bottom, and we talk about it a lot, and I'm sure it gets annoying, but that's because we need the viewership to match the quality of the show. And we're getting there with streaming, as you've pointed out, those might be slightly inflated. We're not entirely sure what streaming, like what dictates a stream or anything like that.
Starting point is 00:02:38 But hopefully it's going to get its flower soon. This show is just simply too good to not garner more attention. So let's talk about it. Let's dive right in. What do you say? Let's just hop right in there. And I really like this episode for a lot of reasons that we will discuss, obviously. but we start out, and this is the frustrating part, probably for me, is that obviously
Starting point is 00:03:02 Martina has been very problematic on social media recently. Julia has been problematic on this show. So you get a scene like this, which would be a beautiful, lovely, amazing scene of their two adopted boys going to her farm and you have this beautiful family moment. And all I can think in the back of my head is like, you guys are both assholes. yeah you're truly both assholes that have been showing their true colors julia on the show martina on social media and i i agree with you it's just tough because it's it should be such a nice scene we weren't even sure if we were going to be able to see the adopted boys if they were
Starting point is 00:03:40 even going to show them on camera because we kind of had our our doubts about that but here they are and look those boys are going to have a great life i'm very happy that they were adopted so it's a very conflicted scene while i'm watching this you know what i mean like I'm happy, but I'm just kind of sad at the same time. And I agree. I think that their quality of life is going to be incredible. I mean, Martina Navratilova, Lord knows what her net worth is. And Julia, over the years, has accrued a decent amount of money as well.
Starting point is 00:04:10 And they do seem to be loving and caring parents. They seem attentive. I love that they bring him to the farm. That's the one thing I hope, but like at least just be good moms. You know what I mean? Yeah. And I think they would be good moms for these boys who really need it. That's all we can really ask.
Starting point is 00:04:23 you know, put everything else aside, whatever. Just give them a good life. And I'm sure that they will. There's no signs to indicate otherwise. They seem to be very attentive parents. But my favorite part about this scene by far is get Alexia and Adriana come in to see the boys, you know, their aunts. And Adriana has to point out immediately, one, that Alexia was late.
Starting point is 00:04:43 And then two, that she is bribing them with donuts. And she doesn't need the donuts because she is, what did she say, my intentions are genuine. and I come with a heart full of love. They're making it a competition immediately, like, who's the best aunt? But not like there's other situations, you know, like my sisters will say like, oh, like I'm your favorite to my daughters. They're genuinely in competition. And I thought it was just Adriana until Alexia goes in.
Starting point is 00:05:09 And then she starts talking about how she's the cool aunt. She's the fun aunt. I'm like, oh, this is going both ways. It's going both ways. And I don't think that either of them, like they do have massive egos, both of them in their own ways and their own quirky different ways. but I don't think it's going to affect the boys. I don't think it's going to affect Julian Martina by any means.
Starting point is 00:05:27 So, like, we don't have to take it that far. We're not going to say that they're going to be annoying and they're going to ruin their lives or anything like that. It's just fun to watch. This is just, like, little petty levels, little caddiness when it comes to Housewives. It's just fun. And that's what I think, you know,
Starting point is 00:05:40 obviously there are some big undertones throughout this season in particular. And I'm sure we can probably point to different things from previous seasons. But what makes this show so good is those moments that can't feature, like some sort of feeling that you get that it's like, wow, this is just so funny. These people are ridiculous. They're not entirely problematic, at least not yet, getting to that point, maybe, but it's still just so fun to watch because it's just, this isn't how normal people operate. It's great.
Starting point is 00:06:08 No, it's delightful to watch, but we get this set up for the episode because Julia gets a FaceTime from Karamo, who is a friend of hers. They both are active in the LGBTQ scene. and there is an event and there is an association called the LGBT task force and they're having a big gala in Miami. So obviously Julie's going to attend that. And Karamo's being presented this huge award. What was it for?
Starting point is 00:06:35 I think it's for like his research and discussion on HIV. It was HIV and then it was also the mental health awareness of being black and queer. Okay. There you go. So really cool event. I'm glad that we get to get to take. part in it via the show but that sets us up for later so we know what we're building up for because obviously the scenes from last week I wasn't sure when the text messages were going to come out
Starting point is 00:07:00 and I'm like oh god I she's not going to do it there is she like that would be a lot so I'm glad that that's not what happens but you get Larsa and Stephanie they're going to make their closets as normal people do you know that's I really I agreed with Stephanie though when she's going over all of like the glass that's in there like the closets are glass the the tabletop in the room where all of the closets are is also glass like this is going to be a bitch to clean there's bigger prints everywhere you're going to get makeup on this i understand all of that and then i had to stop myself i'm like but maris is just going to get a cleaning person she's going to get someone to come in and clean it probably two or three times a week so it's not going to be a problem and that's it's
Starting point is 00:07:42 where my you know middle class brain goes where i'm like fuck that's going to be a bitch to clean And then I'm like, wait, never mind. She just bought like a beautiful $5 million house. She must still be getting so much money from Scotty. I can't even imagine. I wish that that was just like an unseal love. Scotty and Only fans. Yeah, Scotty and Only fans plus the show.
Starting point is 00:08:01 And the show is probably the least amount of income that she brings in. So she's doing very well for herself. And that is a beautiful house when they were showing pictures of it. I know. She's going to be fine. She is going to be fine. She doesn't have to worry about fingerprints. No.
Starting point is 00:08:13 And I always think like in those clubs, we always, because we've seen a lot, of those in our line of work not personally but on tv uh you always see the glass top in the middle because that's really the jewelry tends to be displayed yeah it makes sense yeah i don't want extra doors you know when she's showing the closet doors in the inside of the club i'm like you don't want to have a door inside of a closet like that i disagree with the glass doors not because of the fingerprints just because of uh accessibility yeah i don't i don't know enough to speak on But I'm at a loss of words, honestly. I don't think.
Starting point is 00:08:49 We're too poor for this conversation. Yeah, we are too poor for this conversation. I'm trying to think like, because I feel like it's not that big of a deal. But I mean, if you could have an entire interior closet just for the stuff that you've thrifted and you can keep that away from everything else, I'm sure there's also some hidden values in there. Like maybe you've got some cashmere or something that just can't simply be sitting out for too long or it's going to go bad. Something like that. You put it into a different. Cashmere goes bad?
Starting point is 00:09:16 Yeah, they get like mott. in there. Oh, well, I know, like, moths. Then you watch Schitts Creek? That's different. It doesn't go bad. It just gets moth eaten. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:09:25 You need moth balls. Yeah. It's got a, it's got a half-like. Spoils, yeah. Everybody knows that. But Stephanie and Larsa, they're talking about, like, the Lisa Larsa thing. I always love getting Larsa's perspective on how everything went because the point she's tried to get across to Stephanie is, like, I made her very aware that she needs to be a better
Starting point is 00:09:46 friend like that's not really how the conversation broke down that was just your side of it but she says like we're at least able to coexist larses hypocrisy is one of a kind knows no bounds it was on display for this entire episode and she proved exactly why she is who she is and why she's so important of the show the fact that she can go away from that conversation you and i talked about it were like that i was actually kind of surprised that uh it got resolved so quickly based on what the fuck just happens. And we're like, all right, yeah, this seems like the type of thing that Larson Lisa would get into. They'll move on from it. It might arise again, but in a different way, like it'll have a different face when it comes back or whatever it might be. Instead, it's like,
Starting point is 00:10:27 no, no, I didn't see that. There was no resolution there. We're not moving forward. It's going to come right back up. I'm like, okay, fine. Stephanie even blocks it. She's like, I can see it in her eyes. Like, this isn't over. This is far from over. And I will say. Current, current events, we're tracking this day by day. and Adriana, I am tracking episode by episode. Adriana has an opportunity here to just vault into like a top three position for me based on who she's teaming up with at the end of the episode and where I could see it potentially going.
Starting point is 00:10:59 Stephanie's still good. I have really no qualms. I mean, yeah, she didn't name her dress today, which was nice. Yeah, she did a name, like those are the moments that I'm going to have to just like brush off because the other stuff she brings is solid. She said that's why, and she's, this is the second time. she's quoting it within a very short amount of time. She was that's why I always say boogers and burkins don't mix.
Starting point is 00:11:19 It's like, yeah, we get it. And I see, I, yeah, she was talking about that. I missed it. Yeah, so, I missed it. It's not, it's not like the end of the world. She does enough other stuff where I don't think I'm going to irritate. I just got to learn to, like, let it roll off and not get stuck on it. Because the other stuff she's bringing to the show is really solid.
Starting point is 00:11:37 And I love her read on the ladies in the group already. And then I love that she, because we see this a lot. it's an early housewife trope when you get a movie come in too hot they start taking jabs they can't back it up and then they get knocked down she came in hot but she's doing it in a way where it's somehow not super condescending although she's checking the ladies and then she's able to stand on business when they are coming back at her and i think that's the most important part i think that's really important it's you know we always talk about it with every newbie on every housewife show they always try a little too hard they always have that mentality of
Starting point is 00:12:16 you know find the biggest dog in prison and just put them on their ass and then everybody's going to respect you that seems to be the energy that people come in with and she really what is this her third episode so we don't know how much time she spent i think i think it's her third or fourth episode oh yeah yeah she didn't come in right away um but yeah she seems to have it clocked pretty well and i think that she kind of worked up to that where her confessionals or when she's talking to somebody else. She understands how the other people move. And I'm sure it's probably not that hard to figure out with this group. You understand what their ulterior motives are. And she's clocked it pretty quickly. And now she's making moves. Now she's starting to do it.
Starting point is 00:12:54 It's not too much too soon like we've seen another thing. So we'll have to see how it plays out for her, but got high hopes. I do too. I think that she's going to be okay. There will be a slump somewhere in there. It's inevitable. But I don't, I don't foresee it being like, you know, Bronwyn, Newport level. I imagine the way that she's operating, somebody's going to go after Massoud. We're going to have to see how she handles that. Yeah, I've got questions about that very shortly.
Starting point is 00:13:19 But we get to the LGBTQ Task Force event. And yeah, he was honored for his work with HIV and the mental health community with the black queer community. You are correct. But along the way, and sure, this is doing too much, but also in a good way because Stephanie picks up Marisol and she's trying to make alliances. And I like that. I like that she's trying to, and it's not clear cut on one side or the other,
Starting point is 00:13:43 but she picks up Marisol and the rolls and pulls out a cocky making station in between them in the center console, which was, I mean. That's the way to win Marisol over. Straight. That's the way to are. We're good to go. We're good to go. You got bedazzled flasks in here.
Starting point is 00:13:56 We're good to go. Perfect. All you need is a shaker, a glass, and some jewels, and you're good to go. And we also find out that Marisol's got a great colon. So good job. It was a very long conversation about. her. Very proud.
Starting point is 00:14:10 I was very proud. You know what? You get proud about things, uh, whatever you want to. Who am I to say? Yeah, get proud about things whenever you want to. That's what they always say. That's what they're saying in the streams. But I, I got to give Adrian out of props here.
Starting point is 00:14:26 I thought she looked fantastic. I thought the dress choice is great. It looked phenomenal. And she walks up to Julia and you're really, we predicted this that you're going to start seeing some lines drawn in the sand. it's becoming a very clear cut like who the teams are early on and she says you know i texted marasol we get more about the colon and adriana goes to her confessional and she's like oh like i knew you're up alexia's ass but you're up marisols too huh i'm like oh then that's what we've been seeing
Starting point is 00:14:56 but we've been seeing that and like this is confirmation of that yeah yeah we've been seeing a lot of that and this is sort of how it's breaking out and we've been seeing that pretty much since the first episode so whatever happened in the off season that we weren't necessarily privy to and i don't think we necessarily need to be because we can already see what's happening julia is migrating that way i don't know i'm trying to figure out what the other side gains from having julia close to them i can't see what it is it might just be as simple as it's going to piss adriana off like that might actually be their motive i think that's the root and then maybe some other things will come from that yeah and it's it's just so fucking ironic that julia is sitting here
Starting point is 00:15:36 calling Gertie a bad friend over and over and over again. Meanwhile, we're watching your best friends that we watched you be friends with for three years now in Adriana be a little butt hurt that you're moving to the other side to her sworn enemies, the people that just completely rode her off and won't let them near her. Now all of a sudden, you're like, yeah, no, those are my friends. I don't really have much time for you, though. And I'm going to invite you over to meet the boys, but I'm also going to invite Alexia over. Like, you can see all of these things.
Starting point is 00:16:02 And if I'm Adriana, that's just going to piss me off and that's going to push me further away. if I get the opportunity which he gets at the end of the episode to go over to the other side to start making good friends I'm going to go ahead and do that and I don't care where you are so this is why I think Adriana's got an opportunity
Starting point is 00:16:17 to really just jump up in my power rankings which God if you told me this last year or the year before I would not have believed you. Yeah if you guys have listened to us in the past you would know that that's high praise coming from Magout's not the biggest Adriana fan but I agree with you and I think the other thing is
Starting point is 00:16:32 she's doing a really good job because it's just enough. It's not too much. The Twisted Tale of Amanda Knox is an eight-episode Hulu Original Limited series that blends gripping pacing with emotional complexity, offering a dramatized look as it revisits the wrongful conviction of Amanda Knox for the tragic murder of Meredith Kircher and the relentless media storm that followed. Starting point is 00:17:08 This fall, get double points on every qualified stay. Life's the trip. Make the most of it at Best Western. Visit bestwestern.com for complete terms and conditions. Getting ready for a game means being ready for anything. Like packing a spare stick. I like to be prepared. That's why I remember 988, Canada's suicide crisis helpline.
Starting point is 00:17:32 It's good to know just in case. Anyone can call or text for free confidential support from a train responder anytime. 988 suicide crisis helpline is funded by the government in Canada. But what this is showing is, now we have two examples, Gertie and Adriana, of Julia not thinking deeper into her friendships. That it's all surface level that when she sees a shiny new toy like Stephanie or she sees Alexia and Marisol and thinks they're more fun or whatever the fucking. it is, she doesn't look at her current friendships and realize like what they need from her as a friend or how this might affect them because she's been front row from Adriana talking about Alexia and Marisol over the years. So she should know, I'm not saying you can't be
Starting point is 00:18:20 friends with them, but you should navigate it in a certain way. And I don't feel like she's doing that. And I think that's where she falls short is that she's short-sighted with this stuff. She doesn't think deeper into it. How will this affect my current friends? She doesn't care. she doesn't really care but she's going to get to a point where she realizes that Marisol and Alexi are really only good friends to each other and even then there's some things
Starting point is 00:18:43 that I want to talk about a little bit later with the Todd situation and how that could just completely throw a wedge in their friendship but at some point they're not going to be good friends to Julia how is she going to handle that is she going to go to a Gertie?
Starting point is 00:18:57 Is she going to go to she'll probably go to Kiki or I don't even know honestly she won't really have anybody to vent to because nobody's going to want to deal with her shit after the way that she's handled her other friends. And it's on display as we find out. Melissa Gorega on display. But big news here. And I love that Lisa chalks it up to.
Starting point is 00:19:17 I don't want to hear that again. Lisa's on time. Thank you. Oh, yeah. So this is huge. You can try to spin it the way Lisa does. Like, oh, like I'm taking the high road. I don't want to hear that again.
Starting point is 00:19:27 It's like, no, you got checked. And here you are arriving timely to an event. So well done, Stephanie. I also, I love that she did that and Stephanie didn't call her out for it. Stephanie didn't say, oh, now you're on time. Nope. Nope.
Starting point is 00:19:39 You know, just take a step back. Just let her go. The proof's in the pudding. Uh-huh. As they say. We get a very confusing line from Julia. She's like, you know, I feel like Gertie and I are in a better place. I'm like, based on what?
Starting point is 00:19:53 We haven't seen any resolution at all. We saw that awkward conversation where you didn't take accountability. And then we saw you bring up what had happened at the Grecian event without acknowledging your part in it. So I don't know where you got that from. Exactly. That's what it felt like. And if we go back to that scene, like when Gertie was talking to slash over Julia in that one moment because Julie was trying to spin it a different way. And Gers like, no, it actually went this way. I wish she went a different way. But oh, whatever. She's being sarcastic. That's not, she's not cool with you. But like, I guess Julia chalked it up to like, we're good. Julia was like, all we really
Starting point is 00:20:28 needed was a sit down where nothing gets resolved. And we basically both explain our part. but don't see eye to eye and then me calling you out at the narcissist party by not looking at you in the eye she didn't they keep showing that clip she's not even looking at gertie that you know what that's actually on the narcissist guy i can't remember his name you probably did daniel daniel that's on daniel he's written three books he has should we read his books no as you were about to say fuck daniel fuck daniel he should have had julia look gertie in the eyes and say tell her how you feel instead it was who are we talking about here oh gertie okay keep going keep you just get it off your chest and gertie's like what the fuck is this even if that that conversation
Starting point is 00:21:13 that we saw at lunch didn't go the way that either of them thought it was and it never got resolved it'll kind of go away with time if you show some effort here or there that throws you right back to step one so i don't understand what julia understands but thinks that she's doing at this point I don't either. And I'll save it to when we get to the big moment. But I do have to say, I think we have a lawsuit that we can pursue because we said, yep, we said this last year. And I'm sure other people have said it, but I feel like I coined the phrase because I hadn't heard it before. Larcissist.
Starting point is 00:21:50 We've heard Larsonist, but not Larsonist. And then Lisa wants to come on there and be like, oh. And then I, she called me a narcissist. I called her a larcissist. And they're like, oh, I'm like, no, no, that's ours. We did that. I think I even said, I think I even said if this comes up, no, I think I said if this comes up, just know it was stolen from here.
Starting point is 00:22:11 And here you are, here it is. So Lisa listens to the pod. Confirmed. Yep. Confirmed. This is definitely how it happened. Lisa's on, Lisa's on the good team. So you know what?
Starting point is 00:22:23 I love it. I'm fine with it. I said I was going to be a Lisa stand this here. So I'm here. And so we're not. No, no. We're not. Okay.
Starting point is 00:22:30 We couldn't even afford to go. Dad just died. It doesn't matter. We couldn't afford to go against that. Do I have to show you the picture of him in the casket to get you to understand? She might text it to us after us threatening a lawsuit. She might. Don't worry.
Starting point is 00:22:45 If you are listening, we can't afford to go against you. But anyway, let's get to the event itself. And, you know, we get news that Alexia and Todd hung out because her and It was her and Julia, we're out and about and ran into Todd. Come on. Like, you really expect us to believe that you guys were strolling and just bumped into Todd. We ran into Todd and then we spent the entire night together. I love Marisol immediately asking, did you guys make out?
Starting point is 00:23:16 Yeah, she's that's she's great. Did you guys make out? Yeah, of course we did. What do you mean, of course? This is, it's so funny. Like, I don't even care anymore. I don't know. I think it's hilarious that Alexia just bounces back and forth
Starting point is 00:23:29 because we've never seen her in a middle ground when it comes to Todd where she's just like, look, this is where I am. I really don't know what the fuck I want. This guy shows me some love. I kind of want to be with him. But at the same time, he did that to me. He walked out while Frankie was still there, which is unforgivable. I'm in a real pickle right now.
Starting point is 00:23:50 She never does that. She's either absolutely fuck Todd. I can't believe that he did all of that. Or how dare you talk about Todd? that's my husband. I just want somebody when she says something like that, and it would have been such a great moment if Stephanie had done it to just be like,
Starting point is 00:24:02 what husband? What marriage? What are we talking about? You guys are getting divorced? Why do you keep referring to him as your husband? Because you're legally married? Like, no, we're not doing this.
Starting point is 00:24:11 It's, it's, I'm not saying it's crazy to watch because it's hilarious. It's funny. And like you said, we can understand why this might be a conundrum for you. Just approach it that way. Say, I know I'm hot and cold, guys.
Starting point is 00:24:26 some emotion will resonate and be like, yeah, it's got to be a shitty situation. I don't envy you. I hope you figure it out for your own mental health. But if you're going to go either way, I'm just going to start laughing at you. So what are we going to do? He's either great or he's the worst person on the planet. There's no middle ground right now. When we spend time together, we both know that we want each other really bad and we want to be with each other all the time.
Starting point is 00:24:51 Okay. What about when you don't spend time together? How's that go? What about that dinner you have with your friends? other night. Like, what happened to that energy? Like I said, you can talk about circumstitions and then talking about Todd's small penis and all of his problems. Yeah, and renting all of his shit and like blowing up his financial situation. It's just pick a lane or just go down the middle and be honest with us. I'm having a hard time deciding. It's like, okay, that makes sense. You were
Starting point is 00:25:16 married for a while. I don't know. I imagine. They're married for what, like a half a year? Six months, maybe. Yeah. That's a half a year. in 82 days um but i do think yeah because she said this in the beginning of the season todd didn't like how he was portrayed on the show and that was really problematic for him how do you think like whatever progress you may have made in the current day he did when that episode dropped in episode two or three when you're sitting down with your friends talking about his finances you guys probably broke up again so it's funny i'm laughing i'm having it's I'm enjoying it.
Starting point is 00:25:55 I'm enjoying it as well. But Gertie invites everybody to her celebration of life event. As we know, that's where all of the shit goes down. But I love the setup because Karamo's on stage and he goes, look to your neighbor and say, never stop fighting. 72 hours later. And it's like the text messages and everyone's arguing with each other. I love a good set up scene.
Starting point is 00:26:19 And like set up scene and then the editing for what it actually happened was awesome. I love the fast forward rewind type of thing. It's so easy to do, and it's just, it gets me every time. We've always given props to Miami's production team. That's always been a thing. I don't know if this is confirmed. Somebody did say it a while ago that it's the same production team from Salt Lake. Salt Lake, yeah.
Starting point is 00:26:41 That makes so much sense. And again, the best two shows on Bravo, so what are you going to do? Maybe hire them for other shows and stop rehiring old producers that are out of touch. Maybe have people learn production under their tutelage and then let them go handle other shows. Because there's only so many people, you know? That's a ridiculous concept. I don't want to tell them how to do their job, but like, here's what you should do. Here's what would make more sense because the two shows functioning the best are the same production team.
Starting point is 00:27:14 And the other shows functioning the worst seem to be your worst producers. So just a thought. I don't know. What do we know? I have empathy for people like Jacks because we're worried. that he's he's too downed the dumps and we don't want to add anything to him by kicking him off the show guys come on that whatever let's get to gerty's event you get the setup beforehand and she looks beautiful great dress you know she's a hundred percent cancer free so big
Starting point is 00:27:40 celebration of life and i thought it was important that julia arrived first but at the same time i'm like this is all too little too late for me and that's why what happens later i didn't have an issue with. Well, this is delusional. Yeah, I agree. And the way that she's talking about everything, we get so many cutscenes and confessionals throughout this episode leading up to what happens of her saying, I think we're good. I think we've reached a better place or moving forward.
Starting point is 00:28:09 You can tell she's just trying to convince herself that they've done enough and that for whatever reason she feels good about what they've been talking about. But the delusion is wild because, again, we've seen nothing. no accountability for a pretty egregious act like throwing water in somebody's face at a public place is beyond disrespectful it's it's belittling it's demeaning like you should be groveling
Starting point is 00:28:38 you should be groveling for her to accept your apologies but instead you're taking this route of and are you trying to convince us the audience or yourself that you guys are cool I think she I don't know honestly It's really hard for me to put myself in her mind But if I had to guess I would say that she truly
Starting point is 00:28:59 believes that she won the altercation That she proved to Gertie That she's actually a bad friend Because she was able to actually get through it Which Gertie's just a good person Even when she's got beef with somebody She'll sit down with them and talk through it She doesn't talk over you
Starting point is 00:29:12 Which is crazy because that's what she's accused to doing Everybody else on this cast Whenever they have beef with each other It's just a nonstop like screaming match and you can't really make one way or another like figuring out who's winning are they making a resolution there's nothing really going on here gertie's one of the only people on this cast that you can sit down with her hear her out and she will hear you out and if you agree to disagree you might be able to still move forward that's really the way i think her and kiki might be the only people
Starting point is 00:29:38 on this cast that they're both rational they're rational people it's fucking insane but instead julia must think that she won so now she's got this air about her like not only did i win but other people in the group have my back for whatever reason. We're calling racism, which is tough to do on a housewife show. But that's really the only thing that we can do because there's no other answers.
Starting point is 00:30:01 There's no other evidence there. So that's where we are. So when it comes down to it, she thinks that she won. And this conversation that she had with Russell is just evidence of that. The balls for you to go over and stand next to Russell. We saw the conversation in the beginning of the season
Starting point is 00:30:15 where Gertie comes over to Martina. And Martina does the same thing that Russell did just a little bit a little bit less. She basically walked away. At least Russell has the integrity to fucking respond to her but he's still clearly pissed and he doesn't want to deal with it and he knows it's between
Starting point is 00:30:31 the two of them. But the fact that she's saying this like, I think we're ready to move forward and we can be friends again. Russell knows deep down that shit's not going to happen. Like absolutely not. Russell probably doesn't even like Julia. I would I don't get that vibe. Yeah, I do get that vibe. Like I think
Starting point is 00:30:47 again, it's looking back at the situation. And it is, you are softening the blow so much. Yep. The way she says it, you know, we had a moment together. It's like, no, you threw water in her face. That's what happened. He knows that. So it's not, it's not mutually blaming.
Starting point is 00:31:07 Like, you didn't do equal things here. And then for her, the way, it's just the way she says things. Like, had a moment with her in that moment. And then Russell's like short and she feels the awkwardness. And it's just really frustrating to watch her navigate this stuff. And, you know, in her confessional beforehand, she's like, Gertie made an effort to come to my thing. So here I am. I'm going to make an effort to come to her thing.
Starting point is 00:31:34 It's like, again, you're trying to make it seem as though both of these things are comparable. All the evidence that we've seen and we get more later points to you being the asshole here. Somebody went on a podcast the other day. shit who was it oh um fuck what's her name from from jersey one of the new ones um jenn fessler jenn fessler went on a podcast i think fessler was at this uh party she was and she said she was like you know it was a bravo thing like we were all there it made no sense that you wouldn't just pull up a chair and allow her to sit at the table it's like we're all like the bravo family so it was almost i think she was at gerty's cancer party too
Starting point is 00:32:17 Oh, was she? Oh, I meant she was on the cruise. I saw her in the background. Oh, okay. I didn't know that. Yeah, yeah. So she was on the cruise for this dinner with Captain Sandy. And the way that she made it sound was that this was intentional from Julia because there was absolutely no reason that she couldn't have joined the table they were at, which is what we can say.
Starting point is 00:32:36 Yeah. So that's confirmation from somebody else who, you know. Julia's taking it like you're on the fucking Titanic crossing the Atlantic and the captain invited you to go sit at their table. I look I have no no disrespect to Captain Sandy but she's not exactly the captain the Titanic in like the 1800s or the early 1900s where it's like this is a huge honor that I get to sit at Captain Sandy's table
Starting point is 00:33:00 no one else can come join me not for nothing but that guy hit an iceberg because you're not like the well like the best captain in the world is it too soon I think it was his first mate is that too soon it was asleep but yeah according to the movie according to the movie you get that one guy that's like
Starting point is 00:33:16 Iceberg Fuck That what he does I had one job It's my first time I think once that Submarine imploded down there Now we can make jokes about the Titanic
Starting point is 00:33:31 Like it's out of the Yeah I watched that one That was a good documentary actually Ocean Gate or whatever it was Yeah Yeah I was named Ocean Gate by the way That's I didn't even know
Starting point is 00:33:42 He was pretty much He thought he was Tom Cruise On the set of Mission Impossible Bro, have you watched the documentary? Yeah, I know. Just keep going Mission Impossible references until the end of the year. I've got a safety coordinator that says maybe you shouldn't do this. We're hearing a lot
Starting point is 00:33:56 of weird noises. You're fired. I'm going to do this. I don't care what you say. It's perfectly safe. What do you mean the silence says no? I say yes. Here's my PS2 controller that I used. Yeah. Oh, shit. I forgot to charge it. Anybody got double A batteries? I got
Starting point is 00:34:15 battery pack like it was yeah do if you haven't seen that uh documentary it's it's pretty interesting and anyway that's funny unfortunately funny unfortunately it is it's just what a what a wild series of events but we're not talking about that let's get back on task here as we're getting more info about the julia todd alexia evening obviously marisal's voice and concern she makes the did you make out comment we've heard her in multiple confessionals very nervous about this relationship brewing between the two of them because she's been front row for all of it and she knows how bad it's been and she thought that she finally got out of it and now here she is back into it. So she's concerned and Stephanie sees an opportunity. And I love
Starting point is 00:34:59 that because the thing about Alexia, she is an OG of the cast and, you know, she can stand her ground. She's vital to the show. You can rattle her. And I think Stephanie knows that. Especially when it comes to Todd. She's not easily, well, she is pretty easily rattled with a lot of things, but she's good at deflecting. This is very sensitive. Like obviously, you know, you don't bring kids into it. Anybody's going to be rattled with that.
Starting point is 00:35:24 But the things like friendships on the show, if you're going after somebody that she's close to, she'll stand up for them, which we usually give her credit for. But she doesn't really get rattled herself until it becomes personal for her. And this whole Todd thing has her incredibly sensitive. So Stephanie clocked that very well. And she takes advantage of it. She's like, all right, here we go. And she takes a few digs in there.
Starting point is 00:35:48 She's like, oh, you know, we had a party for Todd. Ha ha. And she's like, no, it was a party for narcissist because all of you are narcissists. And Stephanie's like, well, you are too. She's like, no, I'm too much of an empath. That was so funny. That was so funny. I'm so happy.
Starting point is 00:36:01 She said that. It's one of the funniest things that Lexi's ever said. I agree. I'm too much of an empath, which she is an empath. I'll give her that. Like she does care. Sure. But it doesn't mean you can't be a narcissist.
Starting point is 00:36:12 this too no and like the way that she says it's funny as shit and then she flips and she goes and not full of myself like maybe you are it's like okay here we go like we're off and running and stephanie claps back and gives we love this we get evidence and she's like all of those quotes are about todd like every single one of those are about todd and every single time i bring them up and this is such i love this move because you put like just point out what they're doing and it makes it happen even more she's like you just get very tense and like attitude when i bring them up and And she just goes from like 90 to a hundred. A little bit.
Starting point is 00:36:45 Just gasolate her a tiny little bit and see where she goes with it. And now there's your evidence. There's all you need. Because we obviously as the audience, we don't really have to find too much evidence. We saw Alexia sit down with Daniel and talk about Todd the whole time. So we know that's what the root of this party was. So we're sitting back privy to that laughing.
Starting point is 00:37:04 Stephanie somehow clocked it. It probably isn't that hard to clock it. And obviously it's going to rattle Alexia. So it's just, it's so good. And I love it when, and this is props to Stephanie for being a newbie and being able to clock it and actually have the facts correct. When you're doing that and speaking on truth and rattling somebody, everybody in the audience, I don't care if you like Stephanie or not. We're going to agree with her because it's the truth. There's no disputing it.
Starting point is 00:37:29 100%. She's playing the game very well. When your investors, customers and workers demand more from your business, make it happen with SAP. Starting point is 00:38:38 time learn more at millerlight.ca must be legal drinking age but we get to gertie's speech beautiful speech i loved it it was very heartwarming talks about her family you know she's 100% that bitch she beat cancer it's it's awesome and you know we've been team gertie for years now and so to see her get the diagnosis and go through that whole thing and then come out on the other side it's just such a testament to how strong she is. I want to get like a team Gertie shirt because I feel like she needs more support. I think she had them when she was going through chemo the first time.
Starting point is 00:39:17 I'm not positive with this, but I think she did have pink shirts that said team Gertie on them because I think I saw Russell wearing one. So maybe we can ask Russell. I want to get, I wish we could talk to Russell. It's the only thing I really give a shit about like, you got Bravo podcasters and bloggers out there that just want everybody to like them.
Starting point is 00:39:32 I don't care about anybody. I just want Russell to like me. Yeah. dirty yeah too but i want russell to like me yeah i agree yeah you guys know us we don't really give a fuck but that one rosa would be cool and that would be heartbreaking if he didn't like us i know i would be i would question like my integrity my morals i'd be like why doesn't you like me what do wrong like what's wrong with me am i a bad guy damn it but julia's saying all sorts of nice things now and it's like hindsight this drives me crazy that she goes her trying to explain why she's so
Starting point is 00:40:10 proud in turn makes the whole situation worse because she's like you know i had to watch martina go through this whole thing and watch her beat it so to see to see gerty do it is so inspiring and blah blah blah i'm like because of your front row see i've said front row seat three or four times though because the confessional happens after this so it's funny that you know that she's sitting there saying this. But like, how do you not take that into consideration during all the shit that's been going on with Gertie? It's like, you know what she's just been through.
Starting point is 00:40:40 Like last year. Yeah. And you've, you've had to do this firsthand with your wife. So how do you not have more sympathy? Even if you do disagree with what happened, just shut up. Like, she just beat cancer for fuck's sake. And you're being such an asshole about it.
Starting point is 00:40:56 I think it's. I have a bad, I have a bad take. Oh, God. I mean, we did hear that she was getting a. facelift while Martina was going through chemo. Maybe she didn't give a shit. Oh, Jesus. I don't think that's fair.
Starting point is 00:41:10 I'm not going to co-sign. Maybe she's being consistent. I don't know. You can be out on an island with that one, pal. I said maybe, I said maybe a couple times. So I'm not, you know, I'm not saying it necessarily. Um, what were we talking about? I didn't have an alter ego.
Starting point is 00:41:28 Just says problematic shit. I'll just, I'll use your legal name. That was Patricia. What are you talking about? I'll use your legal name for that. I won't docks you. Don't worry. I've done it a couple times.
Starting point is 00:41:40 That would be worse. Why would I use my legal name for that? Because then it's like more. Uh, okay, hold on. I could do this. You do it every day.
Starting point is 00:41:49 How can you not do this? Yeah, but not. I do. I don't do it in like, who's your like alter ego that that says problematic things. Snooty McGutie. Snooty McGutty. Snooty McGooty would work.
Starting point is 00:42:01 I like snooooly. Nootie McGutie. Always got his nose turned up to everybody. Yeah, that guy's the worst. I can't stand him. Hey, can Snooty say something real quick? Is that what you're going to do?
Starting point is 00:42:10 Or do you have something to say? Yeah. Hey, can I bring Snooty in? Yeah. Snooty has something. I like this, actually. And I'll try to get a sound bite for. Until you have too much of it because I'm saying too much shit.
Starting point is 00:42:20 Yeah. And then Snooty gets out of head quick. Oh, fuck. No, Snooty can't come in. Snooty needs to go away for a while. Now, yeah, we have another co-host. And it's just your alter ego. This could go south in a hurry.
Starting point is 00:42:31 Maybe. We'll work out this. We'll workshop this. But Garty sets up the bomb she's going to drop because she's talking about being true to her emotions. If you're sad, cry, if you're happy, laugh. And if you're mad, let it out. I'm like, here we go. But we have a break in between.
Starting point is 00:42:47 And I actually like that we get some time in between. It builds up the suspense. And we have more time to watch Stephanie pick on Alexia, which is a lot of fun because they're standing. It's Larsa, Kiki, Stephanie, and Alexia. And she's like, oh, this gal is so nice. unlike your party and i'm like hell yeah keep going and then she's like you know i've been calling it the todd party because she can't take it for it she goes i don't care i just it wasn't a todd part it wasn't for todd she's like it was clearly inspired by todd she's really i love it i just
Starting point is 00:43:16 love it with stephanie's like wait yeah you're right let me walk that back a little bit and change my words it was rooted in todd you are right it wasn't a party for todd because top wasn't there but it was heavily rooted in todd's behavior so you are right i'll give you that it's like that's so funny that you're fine tuning it you're fine tuning it to make it work so much better and really press those buttons she just poking just like facebook poke poke poke poke post you see what happens i love it i really do but let's get to the texts because she wants to shed some light on some of her friendships and as we know this whole julia thing has affected her relationships with everybody which is again baffling and like really difficult to understand because when we got
Starting point is 00:44:01 all the evidence to what's been going on. It seems so cut and dry that Gertie's in the right and Julia's in the wrong. So the fact that the rest of the group, multiple women in the group are just simply taking it for Julia's word is upsetting in a lot of ways. And the fact that the whole group can sit there, I'll save this one. I'll save this one because. Well, I didn't. So I don't know if you did, but I didn't even bother pausing it to read the text messages.
Starting point is 00:44:26 I did. Oh, you did? Okay. I'm so firmly on Gertie's team and it's just so cut and dry for me. I don't need any more evidence. Usually we don't think for stuff like this. I don't need any more evidence. I know Gertie's in the right.
Starting point is 00:44:38 I didn't need the confirmation. I was just curious what Julia's response was to try to twist it that she wasn't in the wrong. It was more to see Julia trying to slither her way out of it than it was. I didn't question Gertie for a second. So you get the text. I did read them. And it's exactly what you think it is. Gertie's like, what the fuck?
Starting point is 00:44:57 And she's like, oh, it wasn't like, it was his thing. I couldn't do anything, like blah, blah, blah, and Gertie responds with a long text. Like, I'm pretty upset about this for all rightful reasons, especially after we find out from other people at the event that it would not have been an issue for to sit at the table. So it seems like an intentional thing to put Gertie in her place or whatever the fuck Julie was thinking. So I'm glad that she shows the text. And of course, as soon as they're displayed, you knew there's going to be reactions. I was curious how the reactions were going to go.
Starting point is 00:45:25 the moral high ground that suddenly everybody in this group finds is so funny to me because apparently none of them have ever played in the dirt with the rest of this group and you know Marisol's like this is so dirty and like I don't like this like where was this outrage when Julia threw a drink on Gertie I just I don't understand it and this is such bullshit she got up from a table you guys watched how uncomfortable that confrontation was and how confusing it must have been because even we were confused at home we still don't know what the fuck happened or what drove a wedge between the two of them i don't even think gertie really knew it it's really just she became friends with marisle and alexia now she threw a drink in her face
Starting point is 00:46:06 at the in the midst of all of that which nothing was really that bad and really warranted a drink in the face but all those women just sat there they said oh you got a drink on me that's it where's the outrage she shows a text message at her party and now the sudden it's this is unbecoming it's a it's a party to celebrate you know being free from cancer it's her fucking party damn right let's let's not get a twisted this is not a breast cancer awareness gala this is not a hey everybody come donate and do this you can donate if you want to which she made very clear donate if you want to and it will go to breast cancer research it will go to the right organizations but this is my party this is the party celebrating me being free from that and i'm going to go ahead and do what
Starting point is 00:46:50 I got to do. And I loved it. I think it was just so spot on. And you said it perfectly. And that's what I was going to say earlier. And I was like, I'm going to save it for later. I'm glad you brought it up. That's 100% the correct reaction. Where the fuck was this energy when we saw her throw a drink in Gertie's face. That was so embarrassing for her to the point that she was in tears on a confessional. The Kiki told Gertie to leave. You should leave. She got the drink thrown in her face. The rest of the group is siding with Julia. It's crazy to why. And that's where the racial undertones come in. And it's like, what the fuck's going on here?
Starting point is 00:47:24 And it becomes more and more obvious the more that we see it. And it's upsetting. But Gertie had every right to show those text messages. And everybody that's trying to be in the moral police, fuck off. Because we get even the lead up to it all. And we understand what happened. Julia had multiple opportunities for these texts to not be shown. Gertie is not a vindictive person.
Starting point is 00:47:44 She's not. But if you push her too far, she has the right to stand up for herself at her own party. you may you may think that it's too much to show the text messages it's not your party did you see people make edits of uh of kenya more standing up there with the poster board and it was just julia's face i like that that's funny but like it's the same energy obviously ken you took it way too far this is fine there's nothing wrong with this and if you're a person that was outraged by it i'm against you i'm fully on the other side i love i think the right decision here is Adriana. It's Stephanie saying, I want to be neutral. I got to hear both
Starting point is 00:48:20 sides. We haven't really heard anything. And if I'm in that group, I'm confused as to what happens. I don't think the majority of the group really gives a shit if I had to look at people. And this is where Larson's hypocrisy comes in. I love it so much. Full force. It's just so goddamn funny. This is disgusting. I can't imagine ever doing this. Larson, you would do this at the drop of the hat. You would show a picture of Lisa's dead dad in a casket to make a point and you would do it at a party i'm sure you're probably going to do that at the party when you have your housewarming party or whatever it is that's going to come to fruition so that's just really funny we always know that and i can write that off everybody else i don't think
Starting point is 00:48:56 they really care i don't think they're that invested in their friendship but for whatever reason and racial undertones they like julia more than they like gertie and that's really what comes down to it so people like stephanie who are being neutral i want to hear both sides adriana who's friends with both of them i want to hear both sides lisa who's just sitting there laughing saying, I never want to get on Gertie's bad side. That's great. Those are the right approach to this. You're not really involved in this.
Starting point is 00:49:20 You don't have to be outrage. This isn't disgusting. She didn't show something crazy that Julia did and out her for something that she didn't out her. She vindicated herself and said, here, guys, here's a talking point. You guys all want to be on Julia's side and nobody's checking on me. This is what I'm dealing with. Go ahead and read it.
Starting point is 00:49:39 And none of them are going to read it, obviously. I'm not even convinced that most of them can read because it was. I also got half a sentence in. She's like, that's too much for me. I got two sentences in. I couldn't read it, which, you know, to be fair, maybe you could have done it a little differently. But she left it up there.
Starting point is 00:49:51 You could have read it. You could take it a picture and read it later just for your own, you know. I refuse to believe, actually, especially in the housewives world, that if a text is being shown that they didn't read it, I refuse to believe that because they want the T. So there's no way that they didn't do at least, at the very least, a run through. But like, Larsa's saying, I got two sentences in and stopped that. that that was very funny that was funny but everyone's discussing how they're feeling about it
Starting point is 00:50:18 you know marasol leaves alexia leaves they're all outside alexia again moral police and she's like that's disgusting blah blah blah blah stepney comes out and she's like look is it kind of a tough look sure but i don't know what julius or what gertie's side of this thing is i'm gonna stay and i'm glad because like when everyone walked i was like damn it's like everyone's going to leave except for lisa and then kiki went to leave i thought i was like fuck like what the hell's going on. And who else walked out that I was surprised, but they came back in. Well, they all, they all walked out and then they came back in. Kiki did come back in. She did. I wonder if, I wonder if Carmen's going to be a friend of because we did get
Starting point is 00:50:53 on a Carmen in this episode. Um, but Carmen stayed and then yeah, it pretty much everybody got up and walked out, but didn't leave necessarily. Marisol was definitely leaving. Alexi is going to leave because she can't deal with Stephanie anymore. So I think some lines in the sand were being drawn. I think some teams are being formed before our eyes, which usually, we're against teams for bad seasons, for bad shows, but this one seems like we do need a team, mostly just because I want to see Gertie get some fucking support
Starting point is 00:51:20 in this friend group. It's crazy. Exactly. And that's why I'm glad when, you know, Alexia unintentionally is pushing Stephanie further onto the other team. Yep. Because of what she's saying, Stephanie comes out and just like, I'm neutral, guys. I'm going to go back in and see what's up. It's like, oh, you're going to go back in there and kiss
Starting point is 00:51:36 Gertie's ass. Like, what are you talking about? That doesn't make any sense. Makes no sense. And Stephanie checks her. and checks her again and checks her again and then tells her to shut the fuck up and that's where i literally wrote my book all right line strong we got our teams now and i think that stephan if she is firmly team gerty is going to cause mayhem in the group because julia's going to take it a certain way because she wants to be best friends with her because she's so rich true i think that it's going to piss off alexia it's going to piss off marasol and i like that and i want
Starting point is 00:52:08 not larsa though larses is not going to be in either team Larson's only on team Larsa. Again, that's what makes her so great. She's on team Larsa and team PJ. This fucking episode is just a love letter from me to Larsa, but whatever. She's just great. And I know she's not going to be on either team. She's not going to do it.
Starting point is 00:52:25 She's just going to bop back and forth. And then she's going to bring up her problems with Lisa in an episode or two. And everyone's going to be like, what the fuck? We're talking about Julia and Gertie. Why are you talking about Lisa at this point? And it's going to be mayhem. It's going to be really great. But look, if these are the teams, I love these teams.
Starting point is 00:52:40 I think these are good teams. I think we're going to get a lot of clashing. And I think it's going to be a good season. And it looks like Dr. Nicole's coming back next week for a little cameo. You can point to her and say, where the hell is she been? She's not in the show anymore. Now we've got a problem.
Starting point is 00:52:54 I don't think she needs the show. I don't think she wants to be on the show. And I don't think she should be on the show. We need her. I need her personally. Yeah. We need her on this show because she seems to be such a difference maker. She's not there.
Starting point is 00:53:07 So I guess things are just going to hell, which is fine. We'll just have to see how it goes. obviously, you know, we've always got some reservations when teams get formed and things like this happen. But there are pit balls for sure. I think for this cast, I think this cast can handle it. I also think they need it right now. I think they do too.
Starting point is 00:53:23 Yeah. Not to say that they've always been like kumbaya and very copesthetic because they really haven't, but this is a better format for what we have right now, I think. Yeah, they've been really good at controlled chaos. Like they're able to blow up and they come back together, which we appreciate that there's even if it's not resolution it's just like an unspoken agreement that we're just going to keep keep filming and and move forward a little bit before we wrap it up i just have to mention like larsa and yep she's getting a lot of flowers this episode for just being a good
Starting point is 00:53:55 housewife all right i'm not saying she's a good person she's just really good at her job it's really funny to hear anytime she has the chance to be a hypocrite or play the moral police and like spin it She heard inside, in passing, that Kiki had gone to this place because it used to be a church, okay? It used to be, it is currently an event space. It is not a religious place. But she takes that and tries to spin this text thing. She goes, she wanted to show text at a cancer event in this. She brings us to a church to show text messages at a cancer event.
Starting point is 00:54:36 It's like, no, she didn't. But I love that It's such a funny description And like technically she's not wrong It's very funny to put it that way She's not nearly correct in that But it is You know
Starting point is 00:54:51 It is a description Of the event for dummies Yeah And it's like it is 100% like This is who Larsa is She had a tidbit of information That's no longer valid But she's going to use it in present tense
Starting point is 00:55:06 It was just sensation yeah in this this this sanctuary how dare you but yeah that made me that made me laugh and it ends with adriana another really good moment because she goes up to julie and she's like all right we'll show the text messages she was like i'm not going to sink to gertie's level it's like you're already beneath gertie so at the very least if you want to come out on top vindicate your well show the tech show show that gertie was being an asshole to you if you have that and that's where you want to stand and then we can all just let it go we can all look at it and be like you guys have some shit to deal with but we all don't have to get involved in this we don't have to pick
Starting point is 00:55:45 teams if you guys were bad to each other show the text messages go ahead and i think this is this is in a way it's adriana's frustration with julia i think kind of boiling over the fact that she didn't immediately go to julia she sat with lisa she laughed a little bit she knew what it was she probably has some of the same feelings about julia being a friend and we're going to see more that because the clip from next week when they're on the boat it looks like that kind of comes up Adriana starts yelling at Alexia Marisol like you stole my best friend from me
Starting point is 00:56:12 I think it's going to turn a little bit more into Julia is migrating that way and she's leaving me behind now I can be friends with I think she'd be a very good friend to Gertie I think she would be a great friend of Gertie and I think that if you have Lisa over there and you get Stephanie we'll have to see how that goes that's a fun team would be funny
Starting point is 00:56:29 it's a very fun team it's a very fun cast it can be an incredibly fun cast this shit just has to happen sometimes and I'm fine I'm here for it yeah I am too I think it's going to pan out well like I do like you said earlier I think this cast can handle it and this is a situation like we don't need teams for the entirety of the season but until we're able to shake this thing out yeah gerty Gertie just needs support and it's all it is that's all we need so I'm excited and I was like yelling into dev's office as she was trying to work because I was watching it this morning
Starting point is 00:57:00 I was like dude this is the best franchise this just so good it's just such a good show but it really is like you just got to give it to him but let's uh let's get to some questions uh first up here from this is rachel rose should i watch yeah oh my god yeah absolutely drop whatever else you're watching i don't care what it does watch this how many times do we have to say it watch this damn show from dm j as well dm jaswall dm jaswall you know you are why is gherty held to a different standard from the rest of the ladies we have discussed it a few times there seems to be uh some racial undertones that are that are creeping in and they you could see them in the past this is not something new i think that it has reached a point where it is undeniable this
Starting point is 00:57:53 season where in the past people have speculated i think that it's it's too much in our face now to not address it uh but yeah that's why uh from megano megano Just me or does Julia have a dramatic resting bitch face when Gertie's presence is around? Yeah, I think that's, I think there's more to say that that she didn't seem surprised that it happened, if that makes sense, that the text messages were released at that event. Julia was standing there. She didn't seem appalled. She didn't seem surprised that it happened. She wasn't pissed off.
Starting point is 00:58:28 She didn't get emotional about it. It was kind of weird, honestly. And it's not like she could have seen this coming by any means. So I don't really understand. I don't think she wants to be Gertie's friend anymore. I think she's done with Gertie and she's moving on. She's got bigger and better things. She's with the cool kids.
Starting point is 00:58:42 So that's really all it is. I don't think she likes Gertie anymore. That's all it is. It's just bizarre to me. From Hildita La Del Barrio, do you think the text would have landed better if she didn't do it during a cancer event? No. First of all, it is an event celebrating Gertie's life.
Starting point is 00:59:01 Okay. And yes, of course. it has to do with cancer. This is her party. If she wants to do this at her party, by all means, Gertie, do this at your party. We support you.
Starting point is 00:59:12 Yeah. Similar question from Jesse Lienabob. I've been team Gertie. Lina Bob. I can't read. I've been team Gertie up until tonight. That was not cool. Very Kenya-like thoughts.
Starting point is 00:59:27 It was not nearly Kenya-like, not even close. It was a similar format, if you will. but you know she didn't show naked pictures of julia up there which she was a naked model at some point she could have done that but she didn't do that she ended up just going down the road of showing text messages to try to vindicate herself a little bit and at least add some context to what everybody's fighting about so no i we're still very firmly team gertie and you should be too jesse on top of that again she had a drink thrown in her face at a wedding reception so there there's there was a precedent set here and she answered so i have no issue with it after you throw a drink in somebody's face the retaliation you have to deal with it so i i'm team gertie i think that you know she and she also walked through it at the event with russell like i think i think we all should
Starting point is 01:00:21 she had yeah i think we all yeah no issues at all let's do two more in here uh from va nez will there be an episode where stephanie doesn't mention money probably not, but I'm okay with it because we've been trying to bring wealth back to housewives for years now. So I don't give a shit. I think it's cool. She's doing enough good things that if that's her one negative trope, I can, I can stomach it. She's, she's doing a nice job so far. One more. One more good one in there. Oh, from our boy, Mike Bros. Our Alexia and Stephanie headed down a pathway that leads to a blowup. I believe that we will see a big, big argument between these two at some point yeah yeah i think that alexia is going to have
Starting point is 01:01:09 here's my my theory alexia's going to have another night where she shits on todd figuratively uh and i think that thank you i think that stephanie is going to be there for that i think she's going to join in i think she's they're going to kiki over that whole thing and then i think we're going to have a night following that where she is team todd again and i think alexia is call her out on it. And I think, or sorry, I think Stephanie's going to call Alexi out on it. Yeah. And I think Alexi is going to lose your fucking mind.
Starting point is 01:01:39 And I think that's what's going to happen. Absolutely. Well, that's it for questions. Great season so far. It really is, dude. It's off to a phenomenal start. And that's the thing with this show. We've,
Starting point is 01:01:54 we've watched season after season ever since they returned from their hiatus. It is, it's so good. And it's, you know what it is? It's fucking consistent. It is so consistent, and that's what we love the most, a show that we know we're going to get week to week to a certain standard, and they hold themselves to that, and they bring it every week.
Starting point is 01:02:13 And the last thing, and we say this all the time, they are actually friends and or invested in each other's lives, whether they like each other or not. And that makes the world of difference when it comes to these shows. Yes, it does. But that's all I got. You got anything else? Nope.
