Bros & Shows - Hey! Danny and Janet Apologized and Agreed and Cried Guys! (The Valley S3 Reunion Part 2)

Episode Date: August 14, 2026

What's up bros? Dare I say that this episode gave some of us a little hope? There might be some redeemable qualities to this show after all. Oh, wait, nevermind we just went back in to talk about Dann...y & Janet and it all fell apart. While we're at it, we also went into Luke & Doute and that sucks too. It's so glaringly obvious that they have changes to be made and they just won't do it. Weirdly though this is a kind of positive BravBros/Valley experience Learn more about your ad choices. Starting point is 00:00:00 Well, with this episode, we are one step closer to this show being done. I'm fairly confident, given some of the things I've seen, this is not the last season of this show. But I will hold out hope and try to be on your team with this whole thing, just to, you know, support my grow. Yeah, I don't know if it's because I'm going on a golf trip this weekend and I'm going to have fun and enjoy myself. But I'm actually in a pretty good mood. It's also us recording in the morning that also helps because I got a little coffee. I mean, this was just, this was kind of funny. I think I laughed most of the episode.
Starting point is 00:00:36 I think I've fully transitioned to. I just truly cannot take them seriously. I went from angry that I had to watch losers on TV. And they're not the fun kind of losers where it's like, ah, you guys, it's the, I can't stand any of you and I don't want to hang out with you guys. It's the insufferable losers. Yeah, yeah, exactly. Then kind of transition to just laughing at them.
Starting point is 00:01:00 laughing at their misfortunes. Like I, I'm sorry, I was laughing when Janet and Danny were crying. Like, what the fuck? Oh, you got a tacked on line for being a bad person. Sucks, dude. Whatever. Don't be a bad person. I don't know.
Starting point is 00:01:14 But yeah, I don't, I don't really care anymore. It's just, it's a goofy, goofy setting for all of these people. Well, it just like reminds me so much that like you're in your 40s, guys. You're talking like, you would think. we're watching the next gen reunion with the answer we're getting. It's like you are 40, 43. Like, no, guys.
Starting point is 00:01:38 I don't care if you're in L.A. La La Land, whatever. Like, grow up. God damn it. And for the love of God, what happens at the wedding? What a cliffhager. It's going to be so fucking ho-hum. You got blackout drunk and was
Starting point is 00:01:53 dancing. Like, that's it. Whatever I can't. Which in context, him saying like therapy. and now, you know, dude, he's going that route. Of course he is. It's the classic Bravo route.
Starting point is 00:02:06 Just go to a therapist, then your sins will be absolved. Whatever. This is still the cold opening. Yes, it is. As there's a drive in a deep left field by Castellanos. Oh, man, it's 8 o'clock. And so that'll make it a...
Starting point is 00:02:19 I don't need the spotlight. I shine just fine. Hi, I'm karma. And yes, I am a bitch. Broves. Good morning, everybody, and welcome back to another episode of Brov Bros. Your favorite podcast from the Bros. For everybody, for whoever wants to listen, I'm your co-host, Steele Russell, joined as always by the one and only vacation Maguots coming up. You got the annual Magouter family golf trip, right?
Starting point is 00:02:51 Yes, I do. So I got a nice little golf trip in the hot weather, and I am not going to think about the valley, not even once. It's going to be, it's going to be lovely. I'm going to text memes the whole time. Yeah. That's the funny thing is I think the culture for this show actually adds to how much we dislike it. And it is also very funny because this is the only show left. I feel like where we get so many comments.
Starting point is 00:03:16 Like if you guys don't like it, you don't really understand the fact that as of right now, weirdly enough, number one and number two, Valley is number one in our ratings because we get so many people to listen. because there is a lot of people out there that hate this show. They stopped watching it. They want to listen to us, tear it apart. And then the people who actually like the show were like, oh, let me find some good content to watch the Valley.
Starting point is 00:03:39 Then they check into us and like, what happens here? What's this all about? I understand why you don't get it, but that is why we do it. So I have to get that out of the way first. The other piece of this is just, what a crap show. What a bunch of weirdos. And they're just, they're like irredeemable. I mean, there were moments in this particular episode.
Starting point is 00:03:58 where I was paying attention. I think the Michelle, Jesse, Lacey stuff to start off is a good hook. Incredibly cap-frey. That's a different show, though, entirely. It really is, dude. Like, the deviation from those three to go talk to Janet, Jason, Danny, Nia, Kristen, Luke, and then Lala screaming over them all. Like, it was night and day.
Starting point is 00:04:21 It was, wow, this is kind of weird. Do I believe Lacey? I don't think so. But at least she's good at carrying herself and she talks well enough. that I can understand what she's saying. Then you go over here to dumb fuck Luke and he's like, well, you know, I, I hate, I hate, I hate her a lot. But, yeah, it's like, oh, God, have you ever seen that movie split?
Starting point is 00:04:44 And he's got, like, uh, personalities. And there's a lot of them. I just, you know, Kristen, she like, uh, I just, I, 90%. He said 90% like 50 times. I don't know what it was. He got, he's infatuated with a therapy trigger word. 90% of my life was just, it was given up, man. It's like, what do you mean?
Starting point is 00:05:03 I'm sorry. And this is not disparaging to people who enjoy fishing and living in the backwoods. But that's not 90% of your life. Like, that's a different life entirely. You moved. You knew what you were getting into. You're not going to be able to get any sort of sympathy from anybody out there. So just transitioning from something that was kind of interesting.
Starting point is 00:05:23 And you get other people kind of along the way where there are interesting people on this cast. Like with Zach kind of chiming in. I thought one of the most compelling things over the last three seasons was Jesse's relationship and friendship with other people when he became friends with Doty and Luke when he became friends with Zach. That was interesting to me because he was such a fucking asshole. And somehow he kind of broke down some barriers and obviously going through the divorce with Michelle starting to date Lacey.
Starting point is 00:05:47 It kind of changed him. So he's an interesting person. He has changed for the better in my eyes and maybe it's for the performance. But he has changed for the better and that's kind of compelling. and we get all of that with Jasmine chiming in. I'm like, all right, this is good stuff. And then we go right over and I'm like, ah, yeah, there it is.
Starting point is 00:06:04 There's the reason that we hate the show. No, there was a few moments and you're right. And it shows why we originally fell in love with this show, season one. Season one, if you go back, we were raving about this show. About halfway through, I'll give you credit here. Shooter pointed out a couple of things that could lead this show down the wrong path. Sure enough. season two comes around all of those things were hit on season three they doubled down on it so
Starting point is 00:06:34 unfortunately we've kind of lost the plot here but there was at one point a good show in here and there's still glimpses of good castmates and good castmates can save a bad show but you have to know who to keep who to get rid of and what to focus on and i don't think this show will ever get back on track in that regard and you know why it's because dumb dumb germane jerry Maramaya's up the helm and he doesn't take a fucking hint. So I don't know. I mean, like the fact that we have to do the Jacks thing next week is really annoying.
Starting point is 00:07:06 I don't want to do that. Which is so annoying too because I saw that Brittany is done a couple. And I don't know, maybe she's still doing her podcast. I do not pay attention to that. But she was on another podcast and then I saw a different clip where she's talking about it. There's enough out there.
Starting point is 00:07:22 If you're Bravo, you don't need to keep beating a dead horse. we understand the situation with Jacks. We'd rather not hear about him. And I know it's a big part of Brittany's life. But we pretty much went through the whole season with no Jack's information, with no Jack's input. Yeah, they made a couple of references.
Starting point is 00:07:40 I know when they went over to Schwartz's house for a party, they're like, oh, is Jack's going to be home? No, okay, cool. He lives right there. We saw his balcony. Yeah. And we already kind of did it in the beginning. Like, that should be enough.
Starting point is 00:07:50 But again, they just think that adding anything from Jacks, even if he's not on the show is going to be something that's going to make people tune in, I guess. And it's just they couldn't be further for the truth. No, it's just again, if you look at the track record of Jeremiah, and I'm sure you guys get annoyed that I go down this road a lot, but it's literally written in the star. He's done this with every single show that he's produced. When the show gets to a lull phase or it hits a speed bump or it starts to fall apart in in a VPR, he plugs and plays.
Starting point is 00:08:24 He plugs and plays and manufactures bullshit and it doesn't work. That's what he's doing now with the Valley. He's plugging and playing Jacks as this Hail Mary to be like, oh, this will bring people in. This always works. Jacks always works. No. Like, that's what's frustrating about the shows that he's involved with.
Starting point is 00:08:44 Bravo's evolved, right? Like, we are in a different place across the board with Housewives shows, these types of shows. the audience wants something different. And we've made that very apparent with a lot of the shows that have not been successful. So, like, you can see a different roadmap,
Starting point is 00:09:02 but you're so begrudgingly sticking to what you think works. And it's just flailing. Every single time, it flails and dies. So, like, this is going the same exact direction and the plug and play of Jacks just shows you the lack of any kind of creativity to try and fix this show.
Starting point is 00:09:20 I think it's just, lack of commitment across the board. Now they say this is just the general like Bravo speak, but they, I feel like they went so far in the other direction. There was no real break. And it all started with the end of the original Roney where they tried to plug and play and then they got really offended by some of the things that were happening off screen, which is fine to a certain extent, depending on what the situation was. And they went so far the other way where all of a sudden it was an unrecognizable show from Housewives. You know, like, what the fuck is that? Now they're trying to kind of dip their toe back into the toxic nature.
Starting point is 00:09:52 but it wasn't really toxic to begin with. It was just goofy, fun, people fighting with each other, and then it was never really that deep. And I honestly, it unfortunately is as awesome as it was. Scandivalve kind of ruined everything for every show, where now we have to have that big moment. We have to have a big cheating scandal. And Scandival happens.
Starting point is 00:10:15 Monica Garcia happened. All of those things along the way just kind of changed the tune of what we're looking for. and these producers, because we don't have everybody on board, like there are obviously some shows that are killing it. There's some shows that are just struck the goal. Yeah. And it's not because they rewrote the model or anything like that. It's just because they have a good cast that understands how this works
Starting point is 00:10:37 and they're actually friends and they get along. Now it's like, hey, let's put a bunch of people that hate each other and make them hate each other more and see if we get some good fights out of it. But it's because they don't have their production teams on board. And every production team has their own little thing that they want change but there should be a core value somewhere in there they just kind of let them all run free and that's what sucks is you get somebody like jeremiah who's been there for so long who had success early on his career and now he's like oh yeah i'm just going to keep doing the same thing and just
Starting point is 00:11:03 keep pumping out the same material it's like that doesn't doesn't work if you don't have a good cast and this cast is not good we say it every week like this was a very good episode for get janet and jason off my fucking screen i can't with them with their side comments while dany and nia are talking as much as I don't like Danny and Nea, I still want to hear what they have to say because they're talking about what we watch this season. And then you have Janet and Jason, I'm so fucking done.
Starting point is 00:11:26 I can't with these two. Say it out loud. Like get into an actual fight. I'm still not going to support you because you both suck. They suck. Like, everybody on each side of the room sucks. But at the same time, we're still at a reunion to get through things
Starting point is 00:11:40 or at least get things off your chest. So if you have things to say, and it's more, I guess, productive than just like whispering to your husband, like, I can't with these people anymore, then don't with these people anymore. Go home. You don't have to be on this show. You can go home and live a quiet life, but you still have that sheena factor where you want
Starting point is 00:12:00 to be on TV and you really like being on TV and the things that come with it, but you don't want to deal with what's happening in front of you. It's just, it's tough to watch. And that's what we get into. I feel like a lot with this show. And it's just, it's an easy fix. You get rid of both. I mean, no one's, no one's going to be happy if you get rid of one couple.
Starting point is 00:12:17 no one's going to be happy if you get rid of the other couple. Everybody's going to be somewhat upset if you get rid of both, but you plug and play and figure out what you have. If you keep one couple over the other or keep all four, the show is just going to continue down the same path. If you get rid of both Danny, Nea, Jason, and Janet, it could save the show. Honestly, that's a different show entirely
Starting point is 00:12:37 because now we're not focused on the same thing every week. You've gotten problematic Danny out of there. You've gotten Jason and Janet who bring pretty much nothing to the table. they can't sit and actually have a conversation or an argument, they always walk away. You remove them. It would be so interesting because the entire cast would be like, oh, shit,
Starting point is 00:12:57 what do we do now? What do we talk about? Like you take out all subject matter, which is a good thing because now we get new storylines. We get new directions. We get to focus on different people. We get to focus on Jasmine and Melissa a bit more. We get to focus on not Luke and Dode.
Starting point is 00:13:15 I'm so over that. But the Jesse Lacey Michelle thing. Like I, that is the number one thing on this show right now that like everybody wants more of. And we just get little nuggets here and there. Like make that the centerpiece of this show, at least for next season. Yeah,
Starting point is 00:13:34 I fully agree. But I think the projection moving forward to like obviously we're going to go through the Doty and Luke stuff. I'm not saying get rid of Doty and Luke. I think Doty needs the dumb Luke sucks. But they can stay. I do think if you get rid of those four, it makes the whole show a lot lighter.
Starting point is 00:13:49 It makes the whole show a lot less produced. And it makes us move forward in a better direction where, yeah, I mean, we'll have to endorse some Doty and Luke conversations that are going to make us uncomfortable. But I think we bash it because everything sucks. Every storyline is so toxic. There's never a good time to be like,
Starting point is 00:14:06 oh, wow, you guys are actually having a good time. We try to highlight those. Zach down in Mexico was one of the best shining moments of the season. It's great. But it's still taken away from Danny walking around, bitching about how he can't dance. It's like, okay, we had a really great moment. That could have been an iconic Bravo moment, but no one's really going to remember it because that Mexico trip has such a dark cloud over it because of Danny and probably because of Janet and Jason.
Starting point is 00:14:30 And at the end of the day, I understand that it is 50-50. It's both sides. They both suck, but get rid of both of them. And that Mexico trip looks so much different. It looks like it could be fun. And you're going to get fun fights along the way. You're going to get fun drama along the way. you're not going to get this weird man-child stuff. And I think that's the biggest thing I would love to just kind of hit producers over the head with. If something organically comes about and it's a darker subject, but it just kind of pops up, yes, we are interested and we do want to see it play out. When it's all dark all the time and it just drags you down, I get depressed watching this show.
Starting point is 00:15:12 Like I never finished an episode like, ooh, that was fun. I finished an episode. Not really the reunion. Yeah. The show in general, whatever. Just the show in general. Like the reams, this was fine for what, like, honestly, for this show, this was probably the best case scenario reunion this episode.
Starting point is 00:15:27 Yeah. Yeah. And obviously, I think we're going to spend, like you said, we're going to talk about Jackson, Brittany, and the third one. We're also going to spend a good chunk of time talking about Danny's drinking, which that could go either way. It could easily be terrible. as we've seen and why would we not believe that because it's always been terrible.
Starting point is 00:15:45 Or we might actually get some good answers and I want to see him actually get uncomfortable and not have his wife speak over him to protect young Daniel because he's just a little boy. He can't fight his own battles. He needs his bombing to step in. So as long as she doesn't do that and he has to answer for his own actions and we have to actually get to the bottom of some things, I'm okay with that because at least there's some resolution and some retribution somewhere in there or it could be kind of funny. It honestly could be very funny to watch him squirm and watch everybody on the cast try to rationalize different behaviors because we touch on that a little bit in this episode too where it is confusing.
Starting point is 00:16:21 And I actually kind of understand where we get into that talking about how confusing it could be for Dan. Look, I'm not. I'm changing his name entirely. I can't call him Danny anymore. Again, his name's Danny, like little boy energy all the time. Like go by Dan. Not Daniel.
Starting point is 00:16:39 Or Daniel. No, definitely not fucking. No, Daniel. No, that's what, that's what Nia calls him and it acts, it gets under my skin. But, but D dog. You know what? He probably tried to make that happen. There's a group of friends that he has, like his fantasy football league, where they call
Starting point is 00:16:56 a D dog. Big D. Definitely. It's like calling a big guy tiny. Yeah. Yeah. But like there, I don't even, I lost my trade of thought entirely. But like, at the end of the day, there are so many things that you can do and so many
Starting point is 00:17:11 things you can change for this show. And I, you know, it's a reunion episode. We're just going to kind of jump around as we go. We'll spend a lot of time talking about Luke and Doty in their fucking therapy or whatever that hell that was. That was another thing. I don't even have another word for it. Holy shit. Yeah. And maybe I shouldn't laugh. Like this is, I've gone so far the other direction where that does seem like a serious situation and I have a lot of questions. But when you tell me that a therapist tells you that you guys are too toxic therapy, you guys, you're too chaotic, I think is the word that she used, you're too chaotic for therapy. What is that? What do you
Starting point is 00:17:45 mean? Like, did a on screen TV therapist tell you that? Because that would track. That would make a lot of sense to me. Sure. If it's the same woman that we saw and even though I think she did an okay job, you're still on TV, so you lose all credentials for me. But did an on TV therapist tell you that? Or did a real
Starting point is 00:18:01 licensed therapist tell you, you guys are too chaotic for therapy right now and you have some things. That doesn't make any sense. That is the point of therapy. Is it not? I don't, I was, I was so completely flabbered. Yeah. I couldn't speak, but I could laugh.
Starting point is 00:18:17 I could absolutely laugh. And I did laugh. It's quite literally the point of therapy, at least what I've been taught therapy is, is if you cannot navigate a situation between the two of you because it just gets too volatile, you go and have a third party, a neutral third party that has tools and exercises to help you communicate better. In no world what a therapy is. Let's be like you guys just, you need to figure this out on your own and then come on back to me
Starting point is 00:18:45 because this is too toxic for me. That's crazy. Like that makes no sense. That is the antithesis of therapy. And like all that we, go ahead. I pulled up the Webster's dictionary. Therapy is a form of treatment designed to heal or cure a mental, emotional, or physical health problem.
Starting point is 00:19:04 It helps people recover from an illness, injury, or stress by guided techniques, exercises, or talking to feel better and gain healthy coping skills. What does it say about couples therapy? Couples therapy definition of couples therapy. Okay. This is a good. Here we go. Go ahead.
Starting point is 00:19:23 No, no, this is good. Couples therapy is a form of psychotherapy where two romantic partners meet with a licensed medical health professional, often a marriage and family therapist to resolve conflicts, improve communication, and strengthen their emotional bonds. I'm sorry. Yeah. like if a therapist tells you guys that you can't even do therapy break up break up like like oh man dude it's such easy questions from andy too you don't have to do a lot of work with this one
Starting point is 00:19:56 you've got i know but i thought he did a pretty good job though he stayed on task which you know the bar is very low for andy with reunions nowadays especially recently yeah dude and he stayed on task and he kept asking questions. It started off annoying and it started off how I imagine Nia would handle this. Kristen is getting a little Nia in her. She was answering for Luke the whole time.
Starting point is 00:20:21 I was getting so annoyed because I, and as much as I don't want to hear what Luke has to say, I do want to hear what Luke has to say so that I can come on this podcast and say he's a terrible dude. You need to break up with him. Once he finally started talking after Kristen kind of got out of the way and she was making excuses for him.
Starting point is 00:20:37 And she was doing the same thing that Nia does, acting like everything's fine. Like he doesn't sleep on the couch anymore. Well, I probably like, God, spit it out, dude. Like what, how often?
Starting point is 00:20:48 How often do you? Well, you know, what I do? It's always she wants to go to bed early and I want to watch a movie. Like, what the fuck, man?
Starting point is 00:20:55 Why? This is such a weird conversation. You're explaining why you fall asleep on the couch. You do not have to give examples and say, I, you know, I just really wanted. to watch the new Tarantino movie.
Starting point is 00:21:07 And Michelle said that he's a great guy. So I really wanted to check in with Tarantino and see what was going on there. And she just wanted to go to bed. And I know it's a three hour long movie. But when my feet go up, man, I'm asleep. What? Like, what are you a fucking 75 year old man in the middle of the afternoon watching golf? Like, what is that shit?
Starting point is 00:21:24 Go to bed with your wife. Just say, yeah, you know, sometimes I fall asleep on the couch. It's a bad habit. But most of the times, I go to bed with her. Okay, cool. That wasn't the question. The question, and we're alluding to the fact, that you get too drunk and then you can't go to bed.
Starting point is 00:21:39 You fall asleep on the couch. You somehow spin this into, well, I like to watch movies late at night and she doesn't like to and I fall asleep on the couch. Wasn't the question. Why are we not pushing that? Why are we not saying, all right, how often do you go out with your friends and get blackout drunk? Are you getting blackout drunk in the garage?
Starting point is 00:21:54 What are you doing that causes you to fall asleep on the couch? It's not just movies. That wasn't the point. And we never really get there, which whatever. At this point, I don't really care. But once he starts opening his mouth, dude, That's where everything falls apart. And that's where it becomes the whole thing.
Starting point is 00:22:08 And that's kind of the point, right? Like to the falling asleep on the couch thing, it's again, like the implication is that you're getting drunk and sleeping on the couch to avoid your wife. That's what if you were just like, ho-ha, I'm like, oh, fell asleep on the couch. I don't think there would be an issue here. I think the issue is it's, it seems intentional. It seems like you're making a statement by sleeping on the couch. That's the difference.
Starting point is 00:22:39 If you really did just like kick your feet up and fall asleep watching a movie every now and then, I don't think that Doty would have a problem with it. Like that's a much different scenario than her. She has learned that when you come home drunk, you're going to fall asleep on the couch, which means you're not going to sleep well, which means you're not going to help with the baby anymore. That's the progression. That's the problem. But he's like trying to justify.
Starting point is 00:23:05 the couch sleeping thing when it's like, dude, the list of issues that you guys have, that's probably at the bottom. And like you're sitting here for five, ten minutes trying to explain that part away. But the root of everything, we'll just start with Lucan Doty. And then we'll go back to the Michelle, Lacey, and Jesse stuff. But when we start kind of going through it, first of all, to start it out with, you know, it came off as selfish with the sex thing. Right. Well, yeah, I can see, I see how it read. How? Because you didn't watch the show, dude. So how do you see how it read that way? Because now you're just trying to say, now you're doing the Danny thing. You're trying to say the right thing, which is even funnier. Because all of this is disingenuous and you're just irritated that you have to answer these questions, much like you have to go to therapy and that irritates you. But you're trying to say the right thing. And even in a moment where you're lying, you're full of shit trying to say the right thing, you still can't say the right thing.
Starting point is 00:24:05 And watching him be an asshole on stage once again and watching Dony defend him and take accountability for her side of things was that sucked. It was a bummer. And it 100% read like Danny and Nea because she's literally, you know, when he's talking about where here it is the couch sleep thing and, you know, the not fishing and the late garage nights and all of this and all of that. that Doty's response is what I learned, you know, through my postpartum depression, and there's postpartum rage I was not familiar with. So what she's saying is, yeah, I was a lot to deal with and giving him a pass. And it's like, ah, that's weird because he sucks. You were going through it.
Starting point is 00:24:56 And there could be a middle ground there, obviously, where she's like, yeah, I was a little much sometimes. And sure, you guys can come together on that. but to take most of the onus off of Luke and say, yeah, my postpartum is pretty heavy. I get where he's coming from is crazy. But I do think I figure something out.
Starting point is 00:25:14 You go, you go and then I'll hold on. Well, I mean, with regards to that, I think if that's a conversation that they've had behind closed doors or since the season wrapped filming, hey, you're right.
Starting point is 00:25:25 I was a lot to deal with. Couples therapy, I would imagine, would teach you to say, okay, that's a concession. Let me. concede a little bit too on my end and he hasn't clearly he has not gotten there so i think that's
Starting point is 00:25:39 more less in a weird way i think it's less of christing giving him a full pass and more her working on her end of things they haven't met in the middle anywhere because luke refuses to actually make his work i agree with that so i don't think like i i do think that she's gotten there and she's waiting for him somewhere in the middle and he refuses to she's doing the work and he's not doing yes yes so and look i think at this point we said this too while we were going to the season and there were a lot of conversations about whether or not they should have been filming while Kristen was going through that while Nia was going through that. And yes, we agreed that they shouldn't have.
Starting point is 00:26:11 But we agreed by the time that this reunion goes, by the time that the next season comes out, Kristen's going to be a totally different person. She might even have the perspective of looking back and being like, look, I was a bit of a monster. I understand that. I probably treated you poorly. And I'm sorry for that. But you're supposed to meet her. That's your partner.
Starting point is 00:26:28 You're supposed to come and say, look, I may have spiraled as well. Maybe I didn't handle it well when you were treating me like. shit. That's okay. I will work better. Like you would think you would see that now, but instead what we get as we go through it is the conversation that happened into couples therapy that we saw about them getting engaged. Would you have proposed to her had you known what was going on with pregnant Kristen? This is the opportunity. This is the opportunity to set everything right, even if it's all bullshit, even if everything that Kristen said was just for face value, like, hey, let me just throw this out there so the people get off my back, tell me to stop breaking up
Starting point is 00:27:01 with Luke. I've done the work on meeting him here. This is your opportunity to just bullshit your way through this and be like, look, we were at a bad place. I said some things that I regret. I didn't mean that at the time. Of course, I would still propose to Kristen because we have a baby together and I love her and I want to make things work. That's all you really have to say. And I think that's enough for everybody. I think that would be enough for us to move on. Instead, you go, gosh, well, that's a really hard thing for me to make up in my mind. What is that? that mean. What exactly does that mean? You're trying to do the mental gymnastics of putting yourself back in that situation where you propose to her in Hawaii and you're like, well,
Starting point is 00:27:41 pregnant Chris, it's coming. Would I still, it's just a really hard thing to say. I'm not really good with hype, but then what he just fucking saying. Literally, I don't care if you bullshit your way through this. Just say yes and fucking save some phase and move. You guys can have whatever conversation you want. You can go back to couples therapy. You can get off the fucking stage and go to your dressing room shut the door and have it out for all I care. But for our sake and for everybody else's sake and Kristen's sake for the most part. Just say yes, dude. And he couldn't even bring himself to say yes.
Starting point is 00:28:13 Like that I just don't understand it. And he obviously no longer gets the pass of like he doesn't understand how reality DV works. This is your third season, your third real second reunion. Figure it the fuck out. Like at least lie your way through this, man. It was baffling to me because Andy poses the question. question. You said that you hadn't met pregnant Christen and he didn't know if you would have
Starting point is 00:28:38 proposed if you had. Before he even answers under his breath, he goes, which is true. So you lead it off by saying, yeah, and that's still where I stand, by the way. I don't know how you hear that from Doty's standpoint and be like, oh, this is the guy for me. Like he's literally saying when you get married, it's in sickness and in health, better or worse. That's what you sign up for. So clearly, he's not on board with that because he can't even handle you when you're pregnant to the point that he wants to quote unquote, and he'll never live this down. Put pregnant Kristen in a coffin and bury her.
Starting point is 00:29:18 So it sucks to watch as I think a lot of what Doty's doing as well as kind of rationalizing because I think she wants this to work. She says something that really stood out. I make light of a lot of things because we have a child and I have to be good for her. What that says to me is I'm hanging by a thread in this relationship and I'm trying to keep us together because of Kaya. If Kaya was out of the picture, they would not be together anymore. So she's trying to stay together for their kid.
Starting point is 00:29:51 She's saying as much. She's not directly saying that, but she's alluding to that. with her thoughts and feelings. Meanwhile, the response we're getting from Luke is, well, you know, 90% of my life is gone. Look, you dildo, like, let's break this down. And this is where I realized probably what happened. I think Luke's family is wealthy. I think that they have a big ranch. I think that he's never, never wanted for much. I think he's been taken care of his whole life. So he's selfish and he's like, this is what I want to do. Why don't I get to do what I want to do?
Starting point is 00:30:30 L.A. aside, when you have a kid, your life changes. You wanted to have a child. You had a child. You're not going to go on fishing trips. You're not going to go on golf trips. You'll get there again eventually. But that's what you signed up for. But you're putting all the blame on Doty.
Starting point is 00:30:48 You're saying because of you, I'm not allowed to do these things anymore. I lost my whole life because of you, and that's not fair. No, you had a child. Your life is different from that day on, whether you like it or not. You grow up, you adjust, and you answer the fucking bell. You don't go on reality TV and whine like a little bitch that life got hard because you had a kid and now you can't go fishing. That's not just disrespectful to Doty. It's disrespectful to your kid who may watch this one day and go, wow,
Starting point is 00:31:21 my dad didn't want to spend any time with me. All he wanted to go fishing and go out to dinner in New York and go do this and go do that. It's like it's just so fucking selfish, short-sighted, immature, and embarrassing. Like as a father, you're a father saying these things. A whole ass adult dad. And you're saying this shit, I can't do what I want anymore because you're probably a rich kid with a silver spoon up his ass that got what he wanted all the time. And now you can't. And you don't know how to handle that because you don't have coping skills.
Starting point is 00:31:51 and you're not a fucking grownup, you're a loser. I think I've seen teen. The war is over and both sides lost. Starting point is 00:37:12 Let's get started. Yeah, we're, let's just move on from, uh, from Tony and Luke. I know, I'm happy we got that one out of the way. I want to talk about something. way more interesting with Jesse, Lacey, and Michelle. Because that, again, was, it was good shit. It was good shit across the board. I think we're going to disagree because I'm going to be a Lacey defender. It's kind of weird. Kind of in the middle, actually.
Starting point is 00:37:44 The Stars of the Lions. I used to be a big Jesse defender. Now I'm just a Lacey defender. I think you're a team a lot of people. I think a lot of people are hardcore Lacey. Yeah, I think she's great, honestly. And all you have to do to win the overall to show like this with a bunch of dumb idiots is just be able to form a sentence, be able to continue your thought while
Starting point is 00:38:03 other people are screaming over you. Michelle just still spiraling a little bit. Had a great season, but she's not having a great reunion. This is tough. Yeah, well, I will get into your theory, but my takeaway from all of this, one, Lala, shut the fuck up. Like, this is exactly what we expected. I'm done with Lala. She had a good run, a couple of episodes there. We gave her some praise here and there. She did a pretty good job, but reunions are exactly why Lala sucks for reality TV. I thought this moment she was
Starting point is 00:38:33 doing here, but not the end. I thought that she was 50-50 this episode. Well, the end, I'm, I'm kind of pulling myself out of it a little bit. Obviously, I hate Danny. So when she says, like, I wanted to jump through the TV screen and punch him in the face, in a nutshell, fine,
Starting point is 00:38:50 because I hate Danny. But taking a step back and looking at it, that's just Lala of old. Like she's always just threatening violence towards men and saying that she's going to sock a dude in the face. She's like dog, big dog. I'm going to punch you, homie. Yeah, far from Utah comes out. Enough of Lala.
Starting point is 00:39:06 I'm done with Lala. Here's my only thing. Then you keep going. I don't want to cut you off. My only thing is this, especially on this show in particular. When it comes to the Danny and Nia stuff, I agree with you about the Jesse Michelle Lacey stuff. Like she keeps jumping in, like just let them talk with the Danny stuff. nobody else is going to ask those questions.
Starting point is 00:39:27 Nobody else is going to point those things out. She was at least involved in the situation when it came to Danny and Nia. When we start talking about San Diego and that whole trip, she was part of that. She was front and center of that. So I think that that's a little bit different than this. This you're just not part of. I mean, I know you're just trying to be team Michelle
Starting point is 00:39:42 because it probably feels like it's two against one, but it is two against one because that's how Michelle designed it. So you didn't have to do any of these things. She didn't have to be mean to Jesse and Lacey at the reunion. She didn't have to air her grievance. Oh, it's all her fault. Yeah, this is all Michelle's doing. This would have been completely fine.
Starting point is 00:40:03 This would have been completely and utterly fine if she just let it go. Like, this is, I think purely, I think that, yes, there are questions that we have to answer regarding Jesse being able to pay for the health insurance, the $300,000 loan, which we still didn't really get an answer on. He's just denying it and calling her a liar, which is part for the course with these still. but like she didn't really have to keep poking she could have just let it go she my takeaway she is seething at watching jesse be a potential husband boyfriend man that she never saw but he's doing it with lacey and they love each other and they are good and they're perfect for each other until eventually they blow up for whatever reason but right now michel's sitting across the stage watching this all unfold it eats away at her which i'm
Starting point is 00:40:51 I don't blame her for an eating away at her, but she can't control herself when it comes to that. She has to poke and prod and go after Jesse to try to make him look bad to Lacey, but now she's even spilling over to Lacey, but Lacey can handle herself. Like what Jesse's comeback is just, you're lying about this, you're lying about that,
Starting point is 00:41:08 you're lying about this. I do this. I don't care. I don't really care to believe you or not believe you. It doesn't matter to me. But Lacey, she's just there. Be nice.
Starting point is 00:41:18 She has nothing to do with anything. She's not coming after you unless you come. after her. You don't have to do any of these things. And I think Lacey handled herself really well. I think it's hilarious that you went from staunchly supporting Jesse season one and two, and now you're staunchly supporting Lacey. And I think you made a lot of good points. I agree with a lot of them. I don't agree with all of them. I think that when it comes to Michelle, like, are there moments that she overdoes it? Yeah, for sure. Is it all overdone? No, it's not. And it's also got to be frustrating. And this is part of the Jesse effect. And I would imagine part of the Lacey effect, too,
Starting point is 00:42:02 people like that. So like we, we tend to kind of start glossing over things that are going on. She doesn't bring up the $300,000. Andy brings up the $300,000. And then she has to get into it because Jesse lies about everything. And now you have Lacey who's going up to bat for him. You are 100% correct. The root of this is that it's hard for her to watch Jesse be the man that she wanted him to be when he was with her. So that's where all of it stems from. But I will give her a pass in a lot of the things that she's trying to talk about here are valid. It's got to be frustrating that Jesse takes out a $300,000 loan. She's on the hook for $150. And he's acting like didn't happen. Well, that's not true. That's a lot. Okay, then prove that.
Starting point is 00:42:53 But like, when it comes to the, the lacy stuff, I just thought it was interesting, not taking a side either or. She has a lot of opinions about Michelle and Jesse, which I think is kind of weird. I think that it's like we need, I know that it's, it's, it's, it's forced because we're on a reality show. They have to film together. They have to address certain things. I'm aware of that. But to say like this feels intentional, I don't think it was intentional,
Starting point is 00:43:23 especially like here's the biggest takeaway. So I'm not even going to blame Michelle or Lacey. I'm just going to blame Jesse. I 100% believe that there's been multiple moments where he has called or talked to Michelle crying saying, I can't, I can't do this. I can't do that. I can't afford this.
Starting point is 00:43:41 But then he gets on. on camera and he gets with Lacey and he's not no that's a lie it's all a lie i don't think so i think he's broke i think that he spent his money on stupid shit i think he's embarrassed i will believe lacy and that she doesn't pay for him i don't know if i fully believe that but i think that that's got to be difficult to hear that to hear him being defensive try to put the blame on you when you're like whoa whoa you called me crying and asking for credit card information because you couldn't pay a $200 insurance fee. Like, that's nuts.
Starting point is 00:44:13 So I'm somewhere in the middle of this one. I think that Michelle is founded in some of her arguments. I do think that Lacey catches a lot of strays because of the Jesse situation. But I will break it down to simply, it's all Jesse's fault. Yeah. No, it is. I'll agree with that. Jesse's the aggressor at all of this because even still, he's going to make his comments.
Starting point is 00:44:37 And he shouldn't. This is one of those situations where if you are. are and I think they are truly happy. I think that him and Lacey are very happy with each other in a very weird way that only works for them. But if you are, then you should stop making comments towards your ex. You are the person who's doing that. But I also do think that there is a big piece of this where Michelle does it or she, you know, falls for the trap or whatever it is and she needs to learn to stop falling for his traps.
Starting point is 00:44:59 But yeah, if we lose Lacey in the grand scheme of things, if we move forward from this show or the show gets retold or the show gets canceled, hopefully. Oh, God, I pray it gets canceled. Then we need Lacey somewhere. Bring her back. Throw her an O.C. I don't care where you throw her. No.
Starting point is 00:45:18 Is she said? She said, I'm too liberal for O.C. Oh, did that? Is that how that whole thing sparked? Because then all of a sudden, all of the housewives of O.C. We're like, hey, I'm not MAGA. I'm not MAGA. Bingo.
Starting point is 00:45:32 Because she said I'm too liberal for it. This housewife right here is not a MAGA person. And then Heather Dubrow commented on and said, me too what the fuck is going on why are you guys coming that's why yeah lacy said i can't go on ocee it's too conservative i'm too liberal yeah and i i understand like you know politics lives in so many people's lives right now i me personally i do not care what a housewife is they're they're they're like characters on a tv show i don't give a fuck what you guys do behind closed doors just be fun and entertaining if you're not fun and entertaining and i find something out about you that i just like
Starting point is 00:46:05 then i'm going to dislike you even more but i don't you don't you don't need to go on threads and be like, hey, me neither. Emily Simpson did not comment, of course. But anyway, we know exactly where she stands. She donated money. I saw that. But yeah, I think it would be a crime if we lose Lacey in a reality TV format. So make sure that she comes back. I think I've just completely switched, though. I'm just a Lacey stand. Jesse is who he is. He's entertaining sometimes. He took a big step back, not because of Lacey. He just kind of got like a little annoying and I think it was his ties to Danny which is going to be interesting next episode as we go
Starting point is 00:46:40 into what happened at the wedding and Jesse you got to tell everybody he's his support of Danny really bothered me this year and also he was just a bit of a lump on the log and all he really did was go after Michelle and cause that stir between Luke and Doty which was fine I thought it was fun for TV
Starting point is 00:46:56 but I'm just more of a bigger lacy stand and I'm a little disappointed than Michelle because I think that I could have really liked them both Michelle had a good season I feel like she kind of came out pretty strong and she was a voice of reason for a lot of it. She just falls for that Jesse trap every time. And then she reverts back to who she was in season one,
Starting point is 00:47:13 where we're like, who the fuck is, what is she doing? I don't understand anything that she's doing. So I want to see where that goes from here. Obviously, that's one of the things that I'm looking forward to moving forward. I'm still operating in the space that this show's not going anywhere. And we're going to have to endure again. But if there's more of that and that takes central stage, I'm okay with that. I agree.
Starting point is 00:47:33 I think that's the best way to go about this show. because those moments are interesting. And the difference is, and this is a very important distinction, you have two redeemable people in Michelle and Lacey. There are two people that we like and think are good people. Like that goes a long way to be like, okay, they can maybe change. They can maybe have a copacetic relationship, as we saw. Obviously, there's going to be bumps in the road.
Starting point is 00:48:04 That's interesting. We want to know about. that we want to watch this journey as they try to co-parent isabella as best as they can all interesting so it's just a different show that's a different show than everything else that's going on and i agree like i don't know what it is i have no idea what danny and nia have that make people just contradict themselves clam up fucking lie act like you know they don't know anything and just go to bat for them every time. Like it's so weird to me that Danny has Jesse and that much of a pretzel where he's like,
Starting point is 00:48:45 huh, Danny can do no wrong. If you want to get to Danny, you got to go through me. Ooh. Ooh. I don't want to do that. But it's just, it's so weird. And it's like,
Starting point is 00:48:55 it's really interesting when you add in the fact that like Danny is a mega church background, his dad's like some super pastor or something in one of those things. And you see how that stuff pulls people. in. So it's like, it's just interesting to watch people gravitate towards those two when I, for the life of me, can't imagine why. They have nothing that I would want to like gravitate towards. Zero clue what any of it is. I really don't understand that it's not like the Tamer Judge factor where people are afraid to go against them. Like, it doesn't seem like a fear factor. It's just bizarre. It's like I've tried to wrap my head around it a lot. Like, do they have access to something that
Starting point is 00:49:34 everybody else wants. Is it that they're actually completely different off camera and they are actually nice and fun to be around and supportive to you? But like, we haven't seen any of that. Like, no inkling of that. As soon as the cameras pick up, it's almost like all of their time is dedicated to projecting that they are the perfect couple. That's what Nia wants to do. And Danny's usually the one to thwart that because of his behavior, because of who he is as a person. So while we're working our way through all of this, and obviously we're pretty much like starting with, San Diego, but like, this is a conversation about their marriage in general. I think weirdly enough, Lala put it the best.
Starting point is 00:50:11 It's almost like, you know, you forgot to close the blinds. Like we got to peek into the curtains, but you forgot to close the blinds. I think that is a great microcosm for everything that's going on with them. And we saw that. And I hope we do talk about it. I don't know if we will. But that hot bike moment of like, hey, we're miced up. We can't talk about this right now should be the first thing we talk about.
Starting point is 00:50:33 That is what we do here. here. That is the worst fourth wall break of all time for reality TV is indicating that you guys do have these conversations, these tough conversations, your marriage would probably look a lot different if we were able to see that. I don't think we would have as much smoke for you guys if there were moments like Kristen and Luke go through. I mean, Kristen and Luke like, yeah, we look at Luke and we're like, what the fuck? Like, get out of there, Kristen. But I think if you and Danny had real moments and actually showed us what your marriage is like, which, you know, we do a really good job of explaining all of that.
Starting point is 00:51:05 I can't imagine what it's like with four kids under five. I can't imagine what you guys do. You've had to move. You have all these kids. You still have to travel for work. You have to drive down to L.A., go to the valley, do all of these things. It's probably exhausting. I imagine it is.
Starting point is 00:51:18 Like, we're giving them outs, but these outs I'm okay with because I thought that maybe it would work towards actually having that conversation and being like, yeah, you know what, it's not perfect. There is no perfect marriage. But they're still putting on that show. They're still putting on that performance. And this is, again, that's, why I said that Kristen kind of reminded me of Nia when she was talking over everybody and just trying
Starting point is 00:51:36 to answer for Luke. That's what he's doing. Yeah, pretty much. And Danny, yeah. I thought, well, she did kind of go a little bit of a different direction, but it's more of the same from what we saw and watched what happens live where Kristen was defending Danny all season. And then she's like, well, you know, I saw some things. And we don't really get the episodes before you guys.
Starting point is 00:51:54 Like, yes, you do. We know you guys get the episodes beforehand because you have to film the reunion. So we know that you know what's going on. You just saw the backlash. So that was a little bit more of the same. I'm not really giving her a ton of credit. But that is what it is. And I really do think that we look at them a little differently.
Starting point is 00:52:09 If there were scenes where they were butting heads, if there were scenes where Nia was calling out Danny's bad behavior. And also, I think it would probably go a long way. Maybe there aren't scenes. Maybe that is how they actually operate. It's just Nia just kind of tries to compartmentalize and just try to contain him as much as possible. Yeah, he eats shit while he does what he wants.
Starting point is 00:52:27 I think that's probably what happens. And that's just their lives. So maybe they aren't really putting on much of a show. But in a way, it's just so frustrating to watch. And then like you said, watching everybody else rationalized except for Lala and that one moment from Kristen, it's like, what is going on here? And I don't care to hear from Janet and Jason. I really don't give a shit. But Danny's saying, oh, I was just so stressed out because I knew we were going on this trip with with Janet and Jason.
Starting point is 00:52:52 It's like, what, dude? You're fucking 40. You're going to let another couple who you think's going to come after you. Like, be a man. Stand up for yourself. and let it happen. Like, I just don't understand that thinking at all,
Starting point is 00:53:04 but he knows if he deflects in that direction, other people on stage are going to be like, yeah, I get it. It's really tough. Everybody's telling you to have a good time and be able to drink, but then you have these two over here that are looking for you to fall apart. It's like,
Starting point is 00:53:15 okay. It's just, it's so lame. That was so stupid to me because, yeah, sure, we can, we can agree that the directions were kind of confusing,
Starting point is 00:53:26 right? Like, look, you can drink as much as you up, blah, blah, yeah, sure, confusing.
Starting point is 00:53:30 If you're 21 years old, because if you're a grown up and you hear what they're saying to you, the problem is your behavior. You know that it's when you drink, your behavior becomes an issue. So you really need a group of people to spell out what you should be doing for you to make a conscious decision to better yourself. Well, they told me to drink as much as I want. So I did. That's dumb. That's a stupid response.
Starting point is 00:53:59 But, like, again, with this spell that they seem to have over people, you know, Doty a few times does speak up finally. Like, well, I really didn't like that. But every time she does, she follows up with that that doesn't describe who he is as a friend or a husband or a person. I'm like, how? It should. Yeah. Yes. Like, what do you mean?
Starting point is 00:54:21 It doesn't make sense. Can you imagine talking about a friend, anybody like in our friend group or just, you know, for anybody out there that's listening. Could you imagine talking to a friend and being like, ah, they had a really bad moment. It was actually horrifying. It was terrible. It was so eye opening. But that doesn't explain who they are as a person. So what do you mean?
Starting point is 00:54:41 What do you mean by eye opening and horrifying and terrible? But it's just, it's a bad moment. You used a lot of superlatives there. You used a lot of big words to explain an action and the way that he was talking to his wife. But you know what? He was just stressed out. There was another couple there that they don't want. like that is not an excuse brother i there was a babysitter there that wasn't being utilized to
Starting point is 00:55:05 the point that he thought it was i lost by the way i have changed and swaddled millions of times at this point i have done so i'm the best dad in the world i don't like to put my kids down for a nap danny does it congratulations like now we understand where luke's coming from like what are we doing here. It's like that whole thing, all of the excuses, all of the backing him up, trying to paint him as like the greatest dad in the world, the most supportive husband in the world, all of these different things. Let's go back to Doty. That's not who he is as a person. If it's a one-off, he has a bad night, this shit pops off. Okay. Sure. All we've really seen of Danny is this stuff. And look, we'll be the first to acknowledge that a show is filmed and produced and edited a certain way to paint a
Starting point is 00:55:57 certain kind of picture. But in two years, we haven't seen a redeemable scene with Danny. I haven't seen him be the supportive husband. I haven't seen him step up as a dad. So if you have this array of instances where it's like, okay, here's all the times who is a giant piece of shit, that to me indicates that's who he is. here's what this person has. So you can't then explain to me
Starting point is 00:56:25 or try and tell me that that's not indicative of who he is. Because for all intents and purposes, that's the only Danny that we the audience know. And you can say a million times, oh, I changed the type, I swat like this, I that. We watched you on a fucking safari, roll your eyes at Nia, who is two months postpartum,
Starting point is 00:56:45 and you don't want to hold the baby because you want to get a drink? That's stupid. That's insane to me. That doesn't make any sense. No, it doesn't make any sense. And I already saw a lot of people online kind of like clamoring. Whether it's just hate of Lala, because I saw a couple of tweets just saying like,
Starting point is 00:57:04 oh yeah, Lala finally shut up. And then we finally got Danny to apologize to Janet. He doesn't mean it. Like, he's just, again, it's just more of the same from that. For piling on to the hate train last year. You didn't apologize to anything else. But this is, again, these are two people that I despise. and they're sharing a bond over people being mean to them online.
Starting point is 00:57:25 Let's not forget last year, Janet basically, she essentially deactivated her account. I know she went private, but did that and then took her whole family to Europe so that she could get away from all of the negativity. It's like, yeah, you didn't just get negativity because he said something bad about Danny.
Starting point is 00:57:44 That was probably true. You got negativity because you suck. And no one likes to watch you on screen. Danny, you didn't. get negativity because you were going against Janet. You got negativity because you're a terrible husband and a terrible father and you're terrible drunk and a piece
Starting point is 00:57:58 of shit. You do shitty things. You get shitty results. So while you two are going at it and then finally coming to an agreement like I'm really sorry that that happened and the whole stage is crying. I'm like, grow up. You too.
Starting point is 00:58:14 Grow up all of you. I would have been laughing. You guys are such babies. You guys are absolute babies. You guys are absolute babies you should take some of it like yeah some online hate is not warranted at all but whatever you should take some of it and be like wow is that how i'm portrayed is that how i come off shit i mean i love my wife shit i mean i want to be a good friend to people i want to be a good person to be around i don't want to have this stigma okay then change figure things out that's the thing it's not too late it's not one of those like i am who i am like if you don't like me
Starting point is 00:58:48 like Janet might be able to claim that because maybe that's just her personality. But for Danny, it's like, dude, like people are telling you all these things and you see online people are saying these things. Maybe that's who you are. Maybe you should try to change. Maybe you should change for the better. Nope, can't do that. My wife tells me every morning that I'm a special boy.
Starting point is 00:59:06 That's what I get. So it's just funny to me that you guys are now crying over this. And it's the nicest moment that the two of you have ever had on this show. It's not going to go anywhere. It's not like it's going to, you know, spark some sort of redeemable friendship. like, oh, yeah, we can sit down now and talk about this. Like, hey, we don't want to come across. We don't want to come across this way.
Starting point is 00:59:23 We don't want to deal with this. We don't want to be stressed out when we go to San Diego together. Okay, let's move forward. That's never going to happen. If there was any hope for that happening, I think we'd be the first ones to be like, all right, yeah, maybe they can figure some things out. Maybe the show can go in a different direction.
Starting point is 00:59:36 This should just be the last hurrah for them. I don't really care. But I am here for the next episode of just taking Danny down for whatever the fuck he did at the wedding. I'm sure he made people uncomfortable and got really drunk and probably yelled at his wife because that's what we eat we've seen that but yeah that's that's what he does it's gone from he had a bad moment to oh shit this is what he's going to do every time he drinks but he's sitting over there claiming you know since eight months ago when we wrapped filming i just i haven't gotten
Starting point is 01:00:01 that intoxicated once sure man say it like there's no cameras there you can say whatever the fuck you want unless somebody has information about you getting drunk now if that somebody is jesse and he seems very apprehensive to tell everybody i don't think we're really going to go anywhere unless other people know what's going on or we know the whole story and Brittany just eventually speaks up and gets after it. I don't know what's going to happen, but I'm here to read into that and have some fun. I hope that other people know what's going on. I would imagine since it's at the wedding and they were all there.
Starting point is 01:00:31 Well, Jasmine immediately was like, wait, what happened to the wedding? Yeah, but that's her wedding. She might not know. She should. Everybody was there. I guess maybe Janet and Jason weren't there because they were very confused. I can't remember. I saw there were pictures.
Starting point is 01:00:46 The funny thing is I remember when pictures came out from Jasmine's wedding. Most of the comments were like, damn, Danny and Nea were there. Oh, Danny looks fucked up. Yeah, he probably was. Yeah, exactly. And you made a really good point. It's like, okay, for two years now, people have been telling you, Danny, both on the show, online, that your behavior is problematic. That we've seen moment after moment after moment.
Starting point is 01:01:10 So at what point do you take agency over the situation? you have the ability to show us on camera that you're not these things. You film for fucking six months probably. So you have the ability to be different on camera. And yet you're not ever. It's the same shit over and over again. And then you have an excuse. I thought, Jasmine, the balls to say this in front of a bunch of parents,
Starting point is 01:01:40 takes a lot of balls to go timeout. every single time something's going on, you're saying you're sleep deprived. You're saying that the kids, this and they're making me feel like that, blah, blah, blah. That's risky. Because you know every parent on it says,
Starting point is 01:01:57 you go, whoa, you don't even have a kid. How the fuck? I'm going to give her credit. And because she follows it up with, you guys make me not want to have kids because you make it seem so miserable. Yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:02:09 Because everything, every negative emotion, every negative reaction, every, every fight argument, whatever, is prefaced by, I'm sleep deprived because of the kid, where at each other's throats because of the kid. All of it is being blamed on being new parents. And yes, being new parents is hard. It is. The first three months are a slog through.
Starting point is 01:02:32 It's the trenches. But it shouldn't be at each other's throats every single second and causing all of these problems and you wanting to leave each other. Like there's tough moments, sure. But the overarching sentiment about a new child is happy. It's tired but grateful. It's tired but excited and just enamored with this tiny little human. I've never gotten that feeling when they're talking about being new parents.
Starting point is 01:03:05 It comes off as I did something dumb. I'm going to blame the baby. I mean, yeah, that is exactly what this. It's actually kind of funny. I was just thinking like around the stage. You go to Kristen and Luke, miserable. You go to, I'm not going to say Jesse and Michelle, because they do actually talk very well about Isabella and they're just trying to figure out.
Starting point is 01:03:22 It seems the only common ground. Yeah. Yeah, so that's totally fine. And Danny and Nea, obviously they make it seem so exhausting. You go over to like Brittany, single mom, never said one disparaging thing about Cruz. Amidst the shit she went through with Jacks and Cruise, being verbal and like all of that. It was rough obviously with her and jacks,
Starting point is 01:03:43 but that's not because of Cruz. That was because of Jacks. So, okay, that's a good one. That's a little check in the right column. And then you go to Lala who doesn't have a husband or a boyfriend and she's just raising kids by yourself. She says it's lovely. She's like, yeah, I'm 24-7. I'm on mom duty, but I'm tired.
Starting point is 01:03:59 But I still have energy to do other things. So it's sort of a balance where it's like, oh, shit, these couples over here that are quote-unquote happy look miserable. And they make it sound terrible. and then I go over to the single mothers over here and they're having a great time and they love their kids. And I go to Jesse and Michelle who hate each other,
Starting point is 01:04:15 but they're making it work. So you guys seem to be the problem. Maybe we can read into that a little bit more. No, we're not going to touch that with 10 foot pole, of course. No, because, again, it's the person without a child saying it. So immediately you get people like, whoa, whoa, whoa, what do you know? You don't know shit. I thought it, like I said, I thought it took a lot of balls
Starting point is 01:04:37 and I thought that she actually made a really good point with that one. And because she followed it through with, you guys make me not want to have kids, I'm like, good, maybe I get a point across because you make, that's a perfect example using Brittany and Lala and Jesse and Michelle. Perfect example.
Starting point is 01:04:54 And no, they don't have newborns, but if we go back to when they did have babies, when Brittany was going through that awful, awful shit with Jacks and the effects on crews and all of that, she didn't talk like these other new parents. And she was going through a lot of shit. So yeah,
Starting point is 01:05:14 I fully agreed with Jasmine. I thought it was a risky thing to say. But I was like, yeah, you know what? You're right. At a certain point, you can't keep using that excuse
Starting point is 01:05:21 because that's just unrealistic. Yeah. No, I'm with you. Let's see what the audience has to say about this one. Yeah. From Audrey Vee. Why are they all giggling when they get called out?
Starting point is 01:05:35 I don't know. They're terrible people. they're terrible people they don't have respect for one another so if someone else calls them out they're like come on what you call me to put it i'm totally fine uh i saw one in here that i i didn't really understand either but someone asked a question about christin making a comment about brittney's hands oh there it's uh joan and uh 10 why was christin talking about brittany's hands i don't know i think the way i took it was trying like a tick that she's lie. Yeah, it's a lie tick. Yeah, that's exactly what I was thinking. That's, yeah. Yeah. Um, from H.M. Faulkner, how do we convince Kristen to leave Luke? Because my God, is he awful? She deserves so much more. I don't know. Let's
Starting point is 01:06:18 just keep doing our thing online and just keep fucking shit on them. Yeah, I like this one from Maddie Reagan one. Danny's still lying. Luke is still an asshole and I still don't know why this reunion is three parts. Yeah. I have said. Yeah, that is good. Uh, from Pretty Ricky 22. Did this reju you'd somehow make Luke look even worse. Yes, every time he opens his mouth, he looks way worse. Oh, Josie, the bear, Tiber, not sure to say that one. Still being a father, what did you think of Jasmine's comment? Like I said, I thought even amidst like the first month where, you know, you're not sleeping at all.
Starting point is 01:06:55 You're losing your mind a little bit. Still didn't talk like this. I don't think it's an excuse. I think it's a built-in excuse that they have used and exhausted. Yeah, I'm with you. From Nicky Motto 23, do they always side talk this much? It was so distracting. Yes, they always side talk.
Starting point is 01:07:14 No, they don't always show it. These producers, these camera people, the editors, for whatever reason, keeps showing us the side talk. I mean, it was on both sides. No one was safe from it. It's stupid. Like, we always say, just say it with your whole chest. Say it out loud.
Starting point is 01:07:28 Get involved in the conversation if you have side comments. And they never do. It's stupid. Even if it's like unwarranted. But that starts a conversation. whispering to the person next to you goes nowhere. It's just like, okay, cool. So you do have an opinion, but you're not going to speak up.
Starting point is 01:07:42 Great. Why are you on the show? No idea. From the Rachy J, what can they do to make this show good? They can get rid of Janet and Jason. They can get rid of Danny and Nia and they can throw good old Tommy Sandoval in there. Bring back Sandoval. That's what I want.
Starting point is 01:07:58 That is my dream. That is my dream for the show. Emma Gordon, did you guys, did you guys think, Luke would reflect and maybe change. He seems like an even bigger piece of shit. No, at no point was I hopeful.
Starting point is 01:08:10 And like I said, I think I have no evidence of this other than his behaviors and how he talks. I do think that he was an entitled rich kid. And I think this stems from that. Yeah. Again, our biggest hope, or at least my biggest hope, was that he was going to lie his way through it. So we didn't have to see more of it. Oh, this is a great point. It's Holly Holla.
Starting point is 01:08:32 Nia using her pageant coaching on Danny to keep him focused. That's why she knows how to handle them. Yeah, that's exactly what it is. Kay Lookerwoods, ironic for Lala to say that Lacey's talking too much when her M.O. is not letting anyone else speak. Yes, Lala should not have been involved in that conversation from Jump. Didn't make any sense. I love this one.
Starting point is 01:08:51 There's two. Emma Gordon and Janice Ingram will read them both. Who is under that couch slowly sucking Danny in? He'll be gone by the end and the other one. Emma Gordon. Is it just me or was Danny getting smaller in that big sofa as the episode? episode went on. Yeah, he's his little legs swinging. His old, his little he's on the edge of the couch. Yeah. Yeah. Absolutely. Um, let's do one more if we have a good one in here.
Starting point is 01:09:21 Do, do, do, do we can, I, I felt one to end on, but I will ask this one real quick. Yeah, just go for it. Oh, yeah, we didn't even talk about that one. So the first one, I got three, although we'll fire them off real quick. Vanez, why did Kristen, goes so hard for the Bucos. I don't know. We're still trying to figure out what they have on them. I was thought it was Bucos, by the way. It is Bola. Lus. It makes me laugh. I like Bucos better. Amanda Rocky's mom asks, how can Kristen want to stay with Luke after any of this crap? But the watch what happens live comment. We didn't talk about the watch what happens live comment. That was fucking bad to me. Like, it's like he says, it's like he thinks of the worst thing he could say
Starting point is 01:10:02 or the worst reaction he could have. And then he says it out loud. Yeah. But it's literally what it is. It's almost like he digs, like most people have that initial comment that pops into their brain and like, who can't say that, I'm going to filter it. I don't want to say that he has no filter because he takes so long to respond. And then when he responds,
Starting point is 01:10:21 it's the worst thing that you can imagine. So it's almost like he thinks of the worst thing, then gets worse and then says that one. Yep, exactly. And the last one, I think this is a great point from Ali Hauser. Is this a cast of friend ofubs? Ah. Well done.
Starting point is 01:10:37 That is good. Yeah. I think it actually is. Yeah. That's what the belly is all about. It's a bunch of friend ofs. And just throwing them in there. That's fucking perfect.
Starting point is 01:10:47 Allie, nice job. Thank you for that. We got one more, guys. One more. And hopefully at the very least, it's a read of Danny.
Starting point is 01:10:56 So we can get one more lick in before the season ends. And then who the fuck knows where this show is going?
