Bros & Shows - Homeless? And Definitely Not Toothless (RHOA Full Recap S17E11)

Episode Date: June 17, 2026

What's up bros? We've gotten to a somewhat pleasant situation this season within the ladies' friend group. While there are still some unclear situations going on with Shamea, K, Drew & More, it seems ...we've somewhat found some balance to the point where we can still have fun at the skating rink and we'll take that. The biggest question of the season has been and still is what in the world is going on with Kelli because we find out that she needs to move basically overnight because of a strange neighbor situation but also she needs Shamea to put her up in a townhouse? We have another big moment with Kelly in this episode, to which I did a deep dive because I needed to know what was going on.
Starting point is 00:00:37 And I found out a lot. I found out a lot. And we will discuss that in a little bit. But it's not quite as it seems, perhaps. Oh, are you going to spill a little tea tonight, Steele? Someone else spilled the tea. I'm just relaying the tea. I'm taking their tea and filling your teacup.
Starting point is 00:00:55 You know what? Hand me down tea is always good by me. This season has had it all. It's had really good filler episodes, okay filler episodes, really bad filler episodes for a little while there, some good episodes. I don't know what to make of this season, but it's a roller coaster.
Starting point is 00:01:14 I'll give it that. As there's a drive in a deep left field by Castellanos. Oh man, it's 8 o'clock. And so that'll make it a... I don't need the spotlight. I shine just fine. Hi, I'm Karma. And yes, I am a bitch.
Starting point is 00:01:33 Brov Bros. Good evening, everybody. Welcome back to another episode of Brov Bros. Your favorite podcast from the Bros. For everybody, for whoever wants to listen, I'm your co-host, Steel Russell, joined as always by the one-and-only shooter Magouter. What's up, dude? Very formal tonight, huh?
Starting point is 00:01:52 Yeah, super formal, because this is episode two, and we got to do another one, because Summerhouse, super secret episode comes out tonight, and we got to record that right after. And I've been cooking for seven hours today before this. So seven hours of commercial free cooking. Yeah, but not in like a fun way. No, no, Red Zone is a lot more fun than all of that.
Starting point is 00:02:13 But yeah, firstly, I just want to give a quick shout out to Charles Oakley, Nick's legend, got to actually watch the finals because they won in San Antonio. Thank God. I saw it was really hard. I took a picture. I was watching the game and I took a picture of Charles Oakley and for like a half a second Angela was there and I could not get it right to get her in the frame. I tried maybe about six times, but you got to give me a little slack.
Starting point is 00:02:40 I was at the Philadelphia FIFA fan fest all day. It was hot and I didn't know this, but there were beers. I had beers. I know that you had beers because of the text messages and phone calls I received. They're watching the game with another one of our friends and I'm like, oh shit, it's Charles, oh shit, it's Angela Oakley. I got to call Steele. And our friend was like, why, why do you have to call Steele?
Starting point is 00:03:04 Why? Leave the man alone. You don't get it. You don't understand it. But yeah, very happy for them, posted the picture. She actually reposted it, which was very nice. And couldn't be happier for him.
Starting point is 00:03:15 Yeah, so we're best friends with Angela and Charles Oakley now, which is totally cool. But yeah, no, it was cool to see. You know, obviously he had his whole snafu at the garden and all that bullshit. So I'm glad that he was able to see. see them win. And yeah, that was fun to see Angela repost us. You know, I wasn't expect. I woke up the next day because, like, I was with Poppy and you called, I checked
Starting point is 00:03:40 my phone the next morning. Your text made no sense, which made me laugh. And then I was like, oh shit, you called me. And you're like, yeah, I got really excited. I saw Charles Oakley on TV. I was like, okay. It all kind of came together, which was very funny. But let's talk about Kelly real quick.
Starting point is 00:03:55 So when she. brought that whole thing up when she was moving out, that she's getting harassed by her neighbor, blah, blah, blah, my first thought when you're moving into Shamiya's townhouse, it's like, oh, you really are broke. Like you broke, broke. You have no money. You're homeless, not toothless right now. So apparently it may not be a financial thing.
Starting point is 00:04:17 I don't know if that's part of it. But she claims that she was harassed by her neighbor. All right? her neighbor allegedly was booting her daughter's car causing an issue, calling the police, like all this other stuff. Now, there's a restraining order that was filed against Kelly because apparently Kelly had gone into this woman's backyard and caused a ruckus, went on her property. And what do you put those two together?
Starting point is 00:04:44 There seems to be more to this story because if you're claiming you were getting harassed by your neighbor, but you got. got hit with a restraining order. That doesn't make a lot of sense to me. So again, just we have a lot of things with Kelly that just don't seem to add up. They're just, you put the pieces together and they just don't click. It's just off the top of my head. Where does your neighbor get a boot for a car?
Starting point is 00:05:15 Is that something that I could buy on Amazon? That'd be really funny if we could have a boot. Yeah. I've got some really annoying. people down here in the city that park wherever the hell they want and it's philly so i get it but at the same time putting a boot on their car would probably give me a lot of entertainment before i get shot and killed of course yeah that works but uh you know at least i'll be laughing until you know that happens so yeah that's that's how i don't see a video just getting the shit beat out of you downtown it's
Starting point is 00:05:44 like i was a bit yeah i go i go over to a car that's parked there and i'm like fuck this guy but it's actually a guy sitting in the car because the windows are tenants and I can't see him. And he just gets out and beats the hell out of me. Yeah. It was just a bit. Come on, guys. It's just a bit.
Starting point is 00:05:59 That's what I want to know. Yeah, per usual. Kelly's stories don't add up. Don't really make a ton of sense. Maybe I'm being overly critical. But her talking about not having any money and then moving into Shemias townhouse is one thing. Pinky also made a comment that just made me scratch my head. She's like, ah, woke up this morning.
Starting point is 00:06:19 There was $9,000 just taken out of my account. And I'm like, what the hell is this? It's for the food for my restaurant. Seems like normal course of business. Seems like a very random comment to make as soon as you sit down. I haven't even sat down for lunch yet. You're already talking about the money out of your account. Are we dealing with a lot of broke people right now?
Starting point is 00:06:35 Is that what we're doing right now on the show? I can't tell. I don't think Pinky's broke. I really don't because on the one hand, the fact that Derek could bail her out and she's doing everything in her power and not get bailed out tells me that I don't think that she's broke. I really don't. I also love Pinky now,
Starting point is 00:06:54 so I'll defend her to the death. I like Pinky too, yeah. Kelly, I don't know because Sandy Springs, that was our Hail Mary. That was our big flagship location. We were putting all our eggs into this basket. It doesn't seem to be going well.
Starting point is 00:07:07 Granted, I'll give her a little leeway. She's going through a pretty shitty divorce, apparently. And that guy doesn't seem to be doing anything. So, like, I'll give her some. But again, every time we have a Kelly-centric storyline, it just doesn't compute.
Starting point is 00:07:22 Like it doesn't all make sense. Like there's pieces missing intentionally that would tell the entire story to the point that I have to go and do research and be like, oh, okay, so this is what happened, which tells a totally different story. Like to me, after hearing that, it's like, all right, did you guys have a run in early on? And then you fucking hated this woman. And then you started getting pissed off at this woman. You guys are going back and forth.
Starting point is 00:07:46 And she got you with the restraining order before you could get her with one. Like, that's probably where I'm landing. Like, it's a back and forth situation. but I don't know. And like that just goes again to like, I think one of my bigger issues with her is just more authenticity. Like just be real.
Starting point is 00:08:01 Like I don't think you're being real with us. That's a really good point. I also hand up. Hands actually up for those watching. I have a problem with Kelly scenes. When I realize it's a Kelly solo scene, I do kind of tune it out a little bit at first. And it's funny too because I've actually been like
Starting point is 00:08:20 keeping notes recently for shows which I never used to do. I, the beginning of the scene where Kelly's inner townhome or, you know, our apartment or whatever, I looked up and I'm like, oh,
Starting point is 00:08:33 cool, we're redoing a room. That's what we're doing. That's a cool storyline. They're like, oh, we're moving. I guess that's a little,
Starting point is 00:08:41 oh, we're moving into Shamea's townhouse. That's not cool anymore. I've lost all faith in this scene and everything moving forward. But yeah, spinning it into what the hell is going on with Kelly is a deeper issue. you and the story about the neighbor just kind of throws it all into into a frenzy for me.
Starting point is 00:08:56 I don't know what to think. I already saw because I checked to see if we had questions. And the first thing that popped up is something you already said, oh, this is Kelly's storyline. She's homeless, not toothless. And we know she's not toothless because she got new teeth. What was that? $70,000.
Starting point is 00:09:11 So that man can buy her new teeth, but can't get her a non-Shamia townhouse. Okay. They pay her rent for a year. Yeah. You get a nice place for $70,000 a year. here, really nice place. Yeah, you can be living big. I don't know.
Starting point is 00:09:26 I have no idea. Just don't put, you know, $60,000 into renovations into a house that you're renting. That's the one thing I will say. Jesus Christ. Oh, Mia call out. Wow. I forgot it. That was the craziest beginning of a season ever.
Starting point is 00:09:39 That was so that terrible, terrible season of Potomac. And that set the tone. I'll never forget that because we talked about that for, I think, 20 minutes on our podcast. I was like, I'm sorry, you put 60. grant into a rental? That doesn't make any sense. I think you're lying. It was downhill from there for me on Potobic. I think that's one thing too, like with a lot of these shows, a lot of the housewife shows is like specifically. It's okay every once in a while when we get to talk about money problems. It's cool. I think, yeah, we'll get into Pinkies thing when she sits down and goes through
Starting point is 00:10:13 marriage therapy with Montel Jordan. That was a fun scene. But it's coming up too much. I don't want to talk about housewives being poor anymore. Can we just stop? It's just there should be, and this might be mean, but there really should just be like a minimum net worth threshold. Once you cross under it, you just get bumped.
Starting point is 00:10:34 You get warned. And then the next season, if you're still under that threshold, you get friend of. And if you're still under it that last season, you're out. I'm sorry. I don't care what you're bringing to the show.
Starting point is 00:10:43 I mean, Beverly Hills, you got Doreet. She's scraping pennies right now. Like, I don't know. I hate to be insensitive to people with money troubles, but. we watch these shows to escape our money troubles because we are normal and poor. Anyway, let's get to the show.
Starting point is 00:11:01 We start out with Shemia and Cynthia. And I don't know, man, with the Shemia stuff again, she's going through the invite to Gerald's party. And Cynthia's asking, like, you know, why were certain people excluded? It just feels to me like she's trying to do. generate issues with people. And I understand, like, her and Porsche aren't tight right now. Like, they're going through their shit, whatever.
Starting point is 00:11:27 They haven't been contentious this season in any way, shape, or form. And the Drew and Angela stuff, it's so Shemiakot. And she's like, you can't come for somebody's marriage and come back from that. I'm like, you go after her, mayor. You say that Charles cheats on her all the time. So, like, I'm fine if you want to play that game of like, oh, she's talking about my, my marriage, but like, don't pretend that you don't do the same shit. And that's kind of Shamiya's MO.
Starting point is 00:11:53 Like she holds this standard for people, but at the same time doesn't reciprocate that standard a lot of the time. I think she also puts herself on the chopping block. She also puts herself in a position where people are going to do that. Because in the conversation that she has later with Kay Michelle, she says, yeah, a lot of people are telling me not to hang out with you. I'm like, what? What?
Starting point is 00:12:15 Like, why? I don't think anybody is your friend. She's your friend. Just be your, just be her. friends. Like you're a grown woman. You shouldn't really care or feel the need to tell somebody else. Like, hey, a lot of people are talking to Atlanta and they don't want me to be friends with you. It's just bizarre. So I think she makes a lot of stuff up to put herself in the crosshairs for some reason. And then she complains about being the crosshairs. It's just not a good
Starting point is 00:12:36 tactic for me. But the other part of it is when you're talking about that and you bring up the fact that Angela is quote unquote going after your marriage and that's just a line you don't cross. And when Cynthia starts talking about the invites to the party and we talk about Dennis, her reaction was, I would have invited Simon, but he's probably not in the country. Why? Isn't that the same thing? That's my point. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:12:57 I don't get it. Her comebacks are just as bad as what you're claiming other people are doing. But it's always starting with you and then they retaliate. And then you're like, whoa, whoa, whoa, you can't cross that line. Too far. Too far. Yeah, that's, I mean, proof of my point. Exactly.
Starting point is 00:13:12 It's like you say one thing, you do another. You have this standard, but God forbid someone else crosses that. It doesn't make sense. And all it's giving is you're trying to generate the storyline. You're trying to generate drama. You're trying to fabricate shit to have these big moments, these iconic moments. And that's what it all comes back to is you and Kelly. Kelly does it too.
Starting point is 00:13:37 Every line you guys deliver is attempting to be iconic. You're attempting to have, you know, who said that? Like you're trying to find your Nini Leaks. moment in some way shape or form where it's like, dude, just those come out of being genuine. And it just, and it happens. It just happens in Rhode Island.
Starting point is 00:13:57 But she is, ma, that was real and authentic from Liz. And now we're all saying it. Like, that's how these things happen. You can't force an iconic line. It simply doesn't work.
Starting point is 00:14:06 And it makes you look kind of silly. And that's kind of Shamea. She's kind of looked silly this season. Mm-hmm. Definitely does. But let's get to Kaye, Michelle and Pinky. I'm fine with Kaye,
Starting point is 00:14:17 Michelle now, honestly, like if she can ride this line that she has been the last two it, I saw some people in the comments or in our questions this episode asking, is she too sensitive? Maybe, but I'm not getting the same level of sensitivity that we have. I know it's only been two episodes, but I am going to give her credit there. She's been enjoyable to me, at least on the screen. Like, I like her scenes somewhat. I really liked her last episode, like the fishing and all that was great.
Starting point is 00:14:45 But I'm fine with her now. And it could also be a benefit now that I'm thinking about it. She might have gotten a pinky bump because Pinky Rocks and I like this scene with Pinky. Yeah, she definitely may have gotten the Pinky bump. I'm with you. I'm sort of fine with her. I'm chalking things up, which I wasn't before because the show was kind of floundering. I'm chalking a lot of it up to you're kind of figuring it out.
Starting point is 00:15:10 Like there are some bright moments. I just don't know if she can put it all together and just focus on those bright moments. That's the question. be that person that can do that because there's too many, too many holdups right now where she clearly can't handle certain things. And if you can't handle somebody like Drew, that's a big problem. So you got to figure that out.
Starting point is 00:15:27 But I'm not ready to write her off yet like I was maybe four or five episodes ago. Yeah, because, you know, the root of it doesn't make a lot of sense. Your issue with Drew makes no sense. If it's still the, the comment about black, she was a one off and you keep, you're the one that keeps bringing it up. But the funny thing is what has.
Starting point is 00:15:46 come from that, I think the digs that she makes it true or funny, you know, like she's leading on like, life is more than a national anthem. Like, that's kind of funny. And then she goes to a specialist was like, she put out AI music. Would you trust somebody to put out AI music? I was like, that's also funny. So we're getting to a point now. And that to me kind of points to she's settling in where she can just kind of razz a little
Starting point is 00:16:06 bit. Yeah. She's not getting like overly upset about shit anymore. If you can live in that area and clean up whatever the shit is with Drew, like we do, we need a conversation. now last week, two weeks ago. Like you do need to sit down with her one-on-one and not leave and leave your Chanel purse. You have to talk about this issue.
Starting point is 00:16:26 This is an issue for you. Nobody else on the show, the audience production. Nobody knows what's going on. And that doesn't work for an entire season. Like we need to dive into this. It's episode 11. And I still don't know what the fuck's going on between you and Drew in this plot that's apparently about your toes.
Starting point is 00:16:45 We haven't talked about that. You brought up the fact that part of this plot was your toes. I need to know more about that. And you're not telling us anything. That part bothered me. What about the toes? And when you look at it in the bigger picture, you had an axe to grind when you were going after three people.
Starting point is 00:17:03 But you dropped two of those three people. Now you're just focusing on Drew, but you're not telling us why you're focusing on Drew. So that's the thing. It's the big gap that we're missing here. Because I remember the first episode after she came onto the scene. And we even said, this could be fun with her going back and forth with Drew, with her actually producing good music.
Starting point is 00:17:21 And Drew, you know, still trying to find her way through music. And that's been a conversation that we've had for four or five seasons on Atlanta as it is. That could be really fun to watch the two of them go head to head. Instead, it's gone a completely different way. And we don't understand why. And she won't fill us in. No, I did learn. She's got like seven million followers on Instagram.
Starting point is 00:17:40 Yeah. Okay, Michelle. Yeah, that's impressive. But Pinky announced. I love this idea. I was just, I just sent you a video of that dude, uh,
Starting point is 00:17:49 in a roller rink bopping around. It was awesome. Oh yeah. We're having a skate party, which I love. I want to have a skate party. I think these, like they're coming back.
Starting point is 00:17:57 Everyone's rollerblading again. And I want to be part of one of these, but I thought it was a great idea. And that's also when we get the $9,000 was taken out of my account where it's kind of off putting. We don't really know what's going on there. I'll get that one. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:18:10 It's a little alarming. But, you know, again, trust pinky i don't know why but i do i think she'll figure it out yeah yeah i've got more to say when we get to the uh the marriage counseling scene yeah that was a great scene but portia is quote unquote cooking with her private chef for uh for mike mike is coming over and interesting interesting things were said because he walks in when we get married you're going to have to move in pointing to the chef like have you guys talked about that
Starting point is 00:18:44 Because that's where my head went. Is this a conversation you're being, you're getting married now? I think so. You think the Porsche talk about that? I genuinely think. I look, this whole, a lot of this episode is very Porsche dating centric. And while I, I like when she says, you know, somebody once told me if you're a woman, you should be dating multiple people to try to figure things out.
Starting point is 00:19:08 They five people, surface level five people. Surface level five people and try to figure it out. I think that's funny and I think that's very Portia. But I also do think when Mike comes in and he's talking about getting married, I think they've had this conversation. And I think that Portia maybe when she starts talking about like I've got two people that I'm juggling right now, that's enough. I can't be out here doing too much.
Starting point is 00:19:28 I think that she's probably having a marriage conversation with both of them. I mean, she's clearly already talking to what's a shit. I forget her name. What? Yes. Yes. She's already talking to her about kids. And we had a whole conversation about that.
Starting point is 00:19:41 It would not surprise me if she was. the other side talking to Mike about getting married. That's fair. Okay. Yeah. I mean, you know, not much to say about this scene except for the fact she was at culture con and on stage announced that she's dating both Mike and Sway.
Starting point is 00:19:54 Yeah, the reception was bizarre. I thought so too. I didn't think this was that big of a deal. Gears. Yeah. Yeah, jeers. And then Mike's pissed. I guess Sway was upset about it too.
Starting point is 00:20:04 It's like I thought you guys knew about each other. But maybe not. Did you job in public to know about you guys? Like we're watching you on TV. Congress. Mike, like, I don't like, what do you think we're going to talk about? Like what? I don't know.
Starting point is 00:20:18 I didn't get it. I thought that that would have been a, a yay moment. I was the same. I was like, oh, I'm at home watching that. And I go, oh, cool. And then I hear boo. I'm like, oh, yeah. Oh, why?
Starting point is 00:20:29 Oh, why are we doing this right now? But everybody wanted to get back with Simon. Oh, God. I don't think so. But I hope not. They, they land on, let's continue. continue to take it slow. So I don't, I don't know.
Starting point is 00:20:44 I have no idea. I don't think they're together anymore. I think she's just with Sway. They were just spotted together somewhere. The only reason I remember that is because Sway is just so fucking swaggy. I remember her walking by the camera. I was like, gosh, she's so cool. But here we go.
Starting point is 00:20:59 Kelly, and I just wrote Kelly, I was the same as you, if it makes you feel better. Because I saw the empty room. And again, I'd been cooking all day. I had to go check the rice. And I come back and I wrote Kelly moving or something, question mark. And it turns out. out. Mine was even more like belittling.
Starting point is 00:21:16 I'm like, really? We're redoing a bedroom and that's your storyline. That's what we're going to do right now. And then when I actually listened to her, I'm like, oh, you're moving. Okay. Oh, oh, okay. I don't like where this is going. That was pretty much the synopsis of this scene for me.
Starting point is 00:21:31 Yeah. And she, you know, is saying that there was an assault and the boot on the car and all of that other stuff. And so again, when I looked it up, it says here, people are talking about, the financial strain from her divorce, which is where my head immediately went. I'm like, oh, wow, does she really not have money? So the version that Kelly tells, her neighbor was the HOA president and allegedly harassing her. Neighbor had her daughter's car booted.
Starting point is 00:21:56 Kelly said she felt unsafe and described the neighbor as a stalker. Now, according to the neighbor, Manalda Perry Cash, who is also on the HOA board, so I guess she wasn't the HOA president. She's on the board. she said Kelly's daughter's car was booted for repeated HOA parking violations. Kelly allegedly went into the neighbor's private patio property through a gate. The neighbor claimed Kelly had to be physically restrained and was making threats. And the neighbor sought and received temporary protective restraining order against Kelly.
Starting point is 00:22:31 So that's the rundown. You can do with that what you will. Again, I would imagine there's two sides of the story. I'm not saying that either's right or wrong. I don't know. But it's not what Kelly's say. That I do know. And again, for me, that more points to this continuous issue that we have with her where it's
Starting point is 00:22:52 like you're not sharing anything. You know, even the man you're dating now is Jarvis. We don't get to learn about him. We don't really get to learn about anything. You know, we go to your locations. That's kind of it. So that's not good if we're not having authenticity. city. Like, that's what makes shows good as open cast members. And we're not getting that from
Starting point is 00:23:13 Kelly. We haven't gotten that from Kelly in two years. Yeah, like we said in the beginning of this, anytime that Kelly gets involved and she starts talking about things that go off camera, whether it's the guy she's dating or any of these situations. Now, I get, there is a bit of a gray area because we've already talked a lot about her inability to film with the kids and all of those things. I think that's really sad. Obviously, we'll talk more about that when we get to the pager conversation. but everything else that she throws at us. I have to question everything that you're doing. I have to question the legitimacy of everything that you're talking about.
Starting point is 00:23:45 And it just kind of goes the same for all of these scenes. I just have to wonder why she continues to get more and more one-on-one scenes. I don't know. I don't know. But we get to Angela and her brother. This was a sad scene. She's missing her mom and the kids are feeling the absence of their grandmother. So they're all going through it.
Starting point is 00:24:04 It's super duper sad. And we get to talk about Amari again. Amari is her oldest daughter who was married in secret. When this conversation started, I thought it was a very different conversation because I was like, oh, what are you saying? Because she's saying, what did she say? Oh, she told the two younger ones like, what's her name? Amari and her wife. I don't remember her wife's name.
Starting point is 00:24:33 I didn't write it down. But they said that, oh, malaria is Amari's best friend. I was like, uh, yeah, are we doing that? Are you doing that? But then she goes on to explain like they, she can explain to them that it was a secret marriage and that's a secret wife and then they're going to have lots of questions. And those are questions that only Amari can answer. I was like, okay, that's a little better.
Starting point is 00:24:56 I'm still a little like question mark. Don't love it. But okay, like I will see how that one plays out before I jump to any big conclusion. Yeah. Yeah, I agree with you. And thankfully, as soon as I started going down that path and starting to think maybe there's a little more here and I don't really like that. Lawrence pretty much takes the word out of my mouth. He's like, you can't shelter these kids. You can't do that and just not tell them what's going on because then they're going to find out, maybe they hold resentment towards you because they had to find out from somebody else. And it's like a little back and forth of, well, I feel like Amari should tell them because she has a great relationship with them. It's like, well, it is your place as their mother when they're that, you know, young to tell them what's going on and just give them the truth. But I don't really know. I can't really say that, but Lawrence says it. And Lawrence can say that.
Starting point is 00:25:43 So I'm happy that he said that. And again, Angela takes it kind of well. She pretty much just kind of goes down talking about how she didn't really think about it. She was thinking more about Amari's relationship with them and the way that Amari had presented the relationship and the marriage and everything was very secretive in a way where she didn't even tell Angela until basically it happens. So it seems very convoluted, but I don't want Angela to get off on the wrong foot. I don't want her to go down to some sort of different area talking about things with their kids in a different way.
Starting point is 00:26:14 It's like, yeah, just be outright and just talk to them about it. Yeah. Yeah, because, you know, it's tiptoeing around not a good stance on the issue. Yeah. How it comes off. And it's like, I hope that's not what you're saying. I don't think that's what you're saying, but that's how it's reading. So maybe get ahead of it.

Starting point is 00:30:45 we're talking about it. This is Roxanne and Chantelle. Let's get into it. But we get to Fajra's law office. This does not help the Kelly might be broke rumors. Fadra is representing her in her divorce trial or in her divorce conversations. I'm not sure if it's going to trial. But She offers her services for free, which I thought was really nice. I'm not taking away from the offer from Fadra, and Fager's doing it from a place of, I went through this. I know what it's like.
Starting point is 00:31:16 I want to help her out, not have her get dragged through the mud, all this stuff. So that's really nice. Just staying. Again, it's like, all right,
Starting point is 00:31:22 you're staying in Shemia's house. Fager's representing you for free. You're declaring bankruptcy. It's piling up. And there's a lot of questions. And again, due to your lack of authenticity, now we have people.
Starting point is 00:31:36 sitting at home, speculating because we don't know what's going on because you're not up front with us. And then you're getting $70,000 teeth. So there's a lot of questions, Kelly. Yeah, for somebody who seems very show-centric, very, I'm going to put it off with the cameras, you didn't think a lot of these things through because why would you not think that we would have questions about your financial stability when you're getting $70,000 gifts via teeth from a guy that you're refusing to show us or even talk about or even use his real name? And then, Then in this like two episodes later, you're moving out and moving into a Shemia townhouse and now sitting down with Fajara and talking about all these things.
Starting point is 00:32:14 I decided for me personally, I am not focusing on Kelly in the scene, more so focusing on Fadra. Because I like to showcase Fadier being a student of the law and walking things through. And she's like, look, I've been here. I've helped other people with these things. I'm going to do all these things. Just go ahead and Google me. And I like that also she can give a different perspective on what's going on with Kelly talking about how her ex is not letting the kids film with her.
Starting point is 00:32:37 She's like, all right, let me explain it from this way. It'll be beneficial for everybody else to see you be a good mother. Obviously, this is a big part of your life. This is essentially your career at this point. So this is my gift to you is I'm pretty much going to take, they're going to handle that part pro bono. I don't think she's handling the whole thing. It was a little confusing.
Starting point is 00:32:54 I think it's just that aspect. I think for those things with fighting with, I don't even think it's necessarily custody, but it probably falls under that umbrella. I think she's going to help her out with that. bono. I think everything else is probably going to be, you're going to be paying for these things. Oh, interesting. I don't know. But again, if we had answers, then we would be asking questions. But anyway, we move on to a very unexpected scene. Pinky and Derek are sitting down with
Starting point is 00:33:21 Montel Jordan and his wife. And I wasn't expecting this at all. Love Montel Jordan. Great, great callback here. And we talk about Edgewood a little bit. And then we find out Montel and his wife, they're Pinky and Derek's marriage counselors. And they want to make sure that they stay on track. And by the way, based on all of the life coaches and quote unquote,
Starting point is 00:33:47 Bravo therapists that we've seen, I thought that these two were more than qualified for this conversation compared to the other ones. I guess. I mean, I've written down of my notes. Now I got to hate Montel Jordan because he's being a life therapist
Starting point is 00:34:02 or a marriage therapist or counselorist on a show, on a reality TV show. I put them all under the same, put them all in the same basket. I don't want to hear from them. But I do think this was a little bit more light than something like that.
Starting point is 00:34:17 It's not, you know, Kyle Richards sitting down with her best friend slash life coach who's just telling her that she's doing everything exactly, right? It's more of an open conversation. I do feel like they have stronger ties. They've got roots in their friendships.
Starting point is 00:34:30 They kind of know how each other tick. So I think it's a little bit more enlightening. And I feel like they maybe just want to talk about it. And look, I'm okay with that because I think everything we've heard about her going through bankruptcy and whether or not Derek's going to help her. I think that's been a good storyline. But I think she's also been pretty open with it. I do think what happens, me personally, when Derek offered to just buy her out and figure it out and just dig her out of the hole,
Starting point is 00:34:54 I think she maybe didn't want to do it. Obviously, there was some ego involved in that, which is completely fine. But also, you don't have to, as far as I understand about bankruptcy, you don't really have to have somebody bail you out. You can kind of just claim bankruptcy and just chalk it up and then move on. That's what I thought. That's probably the better financial decision. So I do think that, yeah, maybe it's a little fabricated talking about how deep of a conversation it is with Derek bailing you out. I do think financially speaking,
Starting point is 00:35:23 it's probably better to just claim bankruptcy. Get rid of those bad assets and just move on. That's probably going to put you in a better spot. And hold on to $5 million. Yeah. Yeah. Where's that $5 million going? Who needs it?
Starting point is 00:35:36 Yeah. I think that hold on to that $5 million and just declare bankruptcy. People do it all the time. Nope, not going down that path. Oh, God, I want to. Not going to, though. Not only Michael Scott. Yes, that's who I was referring to.
Starting point is 00:35:50 Michael Scott. Uh, but yeah, I mean, all that to say, like, Pinky scenes just in general, like, I know that shouldn't have like a downtrend at all this season. It was just kind of getting used to Pinky. And now that I know who Pinky is, like I really appreciate her scenes. I appreciate what she does. Kelly should take some fucking notes. Pinky is authentic as shit.
Starting point is 00:36:13 And I love that about her. Like that her scenes just feel so genuine and real. And I just, I love her vibe. I think she's awesome. I think she is a top tier. housewife. So thrilled that she's part of the show. I do think that we're going to have to see how she handles things next season because the things that we see currently with all of the rumors, obviously with her coming on the show, people are talking more. She's going to have to face a lot
Starting point is 00:36:35 of that next year. That's going to be a big test. But I think she's gotten herself into a better spot. And it was just a little bit of growing pains with us and with her being on the show and trying to figure out how she moves. I think next year is going to be that big like, all right, let's see how you can handle this because there's a lot to talk about with you. There's a lot of answers that we need, right? You need to clear some things up. So, yeah, I agree. Tough sophomore season, but I think Pinky is equipped to handle.
Starting point is 00:37:01 It'll be interesting to watch. But we get to Drew and Fadra and Portia at Drew's house. Ralph is in the basement for this scene. I actually thought for a second that Ralph was going to make an appearance. And, you know, this scene, nothing really happens. This was just kind of a key key with the people in the group that are cooled each other. They're talking about Pinky Show and Notori playing Pinky and Drew is talking about Shemia, wanted to talk about Porsche and the National Anthem thing.
Starting point is 00:37:31 Drew is saying that they're trying to steal my voice, which is very funny. But nothing of substance really happens here? No, I think this was this for me, after watching the rest of the episode, this was a bit of a precursor because we didn't spend a lot of time just fully shit talking. like we were having an open discussion about Shania and her role that she played with the K. Michelle Drew drama. And it didn't really go anywhere necessarily. The rest of it was just jokes. I mean, them joking about whether Fager looks like Natori, them joking about Ralph being in the basement. That's what I've always wanted. I don't want to see Ralph. I just want the ominous camera roll over to the basement that looks incredibly dark. And he's just sitting down there in the pitch black. Those are the jokes that I really want. And then Drew very nicely ends it with here.
Starting point is 00:38:16 Here you go, Portia. You can have yourself a little rainbow cake. because I saw your announcement and I feel really good for you and we all just have a good time. So I think it was for me anyway, looking back at it, a bit of a precursor. It's like, all right, we're kind of, everybody's getting back together to a point where at least we're cordial. And again, we do have a trip at some point in the next couple of episodes. So that's what it's all going to come burning down. But I always love it when they're in a good spot before a trip.
Starting point is 00:38:38 Yeah, and I like to see this cast get back together because, you know, the Shimea bullshit from the first trip when they were in Dallas just kind of fractured. the group, but not in like a fun way where it's like, ooh, they're paired off and they're fighting. It's more like, oh, they were just kind of doing our own things right now. I want the group to be able to come together because when they do, we get the skate party, which was fun. Again, nothing really happens at this party. It's just everybody has fun.
Starting point is 00:39:08 Like, they have a good time blast. It's a good time to watch. I enjoyed watching. Terry, where the fuck this guy is? Terry comes strolling and he's trying to hit on Drew because Fadra invited. him from the event that they were at. I think it was Fajara. Somebody invited him.
Starting point is 00:39:23 But that's my point. Like it's just a fun, goofy, silly time. Everyone's having fun, laughing, dancing, skating,
Starting point is 00:39:31 all of this stuff, showing that, hey, this group can come together. And if we really want to think about where these fractures are in the group, they're pretty fucking trivial. And we don't need to hang on to them.
Starting point is 00:39:43 Things will blow up. Something serious is going to happen once we get to that trip. It's inevitable. So let's clear the air before we go. So I think that's exactly what this episode was. Let's clean some things up, get everybody back to neutral. Then we're going to head overseas and some shenanigans are going to happen. And you're all going to fly home individually from what we've heard over the summer.
Starting point is 00:40:04 That's what we've been told. But yeah, I think the biggest telltale sign for me while watching this is watching them all have fun and then saying internally, oh, it should bea not there. And then you see Shamea dancing and you're like, oh, Shamiya is there. And I know Kelly's there too. Wow, it looks like everybody's having a great time. That's fun. That's a good thing. That's what we want.
Starting point is 00:40:23 We have these and that's why I said in the beginning of the episode, you have some filler episodes like this where things get repaired a little bit. Obviously, you know, with Portia and Dennis, you know, I don't even know what to make of that. But everybody else seems like we're getting along a little bit and that's all we want to see. We don't need drama every single time. We don't need manufacturer drama. That's for sure.
Starting point is 00:40:42 And that's kind of been a trope of this show for a couple of years now. Just get back to a good level. exactly and that takes us to drew or sorry to dennis and portia at the end of this episode and dennis walks in with the with the red box which we saw in like the scene before this like the commercial break he walks in the box and he walks in he's like oh nice flowers and by the way i saw the blog in brooklyn don't you just slow it down a little bit hey dennis you're not married anymore no you're not engaged whatever like why what's going on What is this?
Starting point is 00:41:20 And I know that they have this relationship, this dynamic where, and we've seen him do this in the past. Some people in our questions were asking if this was a fabricated scene of people or this was like planned. I don't think this was planned by Dennis who he then told producers what he was going to do. And I think that's what the fourth wall break at the end where Portia comes out. She's like, what the fuck? Did you guys know he was going to do this? I think they knew. But I don't, I don't really see anything wrong with that, to be honest.
Starting point is 00:41:46 I mean, that's just them living their lives. but from Dennis's standpoint, like, I don't fucking know what the hell he's doing. Like, why you walk in there and we talk about this and we've done this over the years as we see the flashbacks. You go back to 2019 and 2020. And then, you know, last year he had the whole thing going on with Drew and whether or not he was hooking up with Drew, which we just all kind of completely forgot about, which I'm fine with. But he just does this for like a moment. And then he's trying to explain himself. And I don't care for this either where he's just gaslighting her.
Starting point is 00:42:13 And like, what do you mean? Like this is this is us finally moving on. And in the back of my head, I'm like, dude, you could have done this. Porsche even said, I didn't even know you still had it. I thought you got rid of it. If you really wanted to do something, you could have sold it. You could have gotten cash for it. And then came back and said, here, this is for Pilar's college fund or something along those lines.
Starting point is 00:42:33 Or here, I had this made into a beautiful piece of jewelry, give it to Pilar, because that would make more sense to me. Instead, he's like just trying to be petty. And then when Porsche has a problem with it, he's just trying to like gaslight her and calm her down at the same time. It just, it doesn't convey very well. It was emotional sabotage. That's what this was. I see right through you, Dennis. You're not pulling over on me, pal, because again, we've seen this scene in different iterations in past seasons.
Starting point is 00:42:58 We've seen Dennis come over and overstep, over extend, and comment on things that he shouldn't be commenting on. But the biggest takeaway is if you were trying to be genuine and hold on to this ring for a good moment to be like, hey, this is my olive branch. Let's just squash everything, move forward as go parents. You wouldn't do it on camera. You wouldn't have done it on camera. You saved this for this moment. You walk in because she went on stage and talked about the fact that she is falling for two people, a man and a woman. And you took that and said, oh, shit, I think I'm losing my control of this situation.
Starting point is 00:43:33 I need to make a big move so I can slither my way back in and continue to be able to manipulate the situation when I need to because that's what I do. And you did that by giving her an engagement. ring that you gave to her twice. You never got married. You broke off the engagement. Just to fuck with her and fuck with her head. And it worked. You know,
Starting point is 00:43:52 she's like, what the hell's going on? She gets emotional. My favorite part of this whole thing is her assistant at the end literally says, I don't know what to do. Yeah, I don't. I have nothing for you.
Starting point is 00:44:04 You want to hug? I'll hug you. You can cry. I don't know what to do. Verbatim was very funny to me. But yeah, Dennis, you slime ball. I know what you're doing,
Starting point is 00:44:12 pal. That's gross. Like, I don't know. know what you. I just would love to know if you asked him like flat out. All right, fine. What were you trying to gain from this if you were being amicable?
Starting point is 00:44:24 Like what was the benefit of this seed in your mind? That is that she takes the ring back and you guys sail off into the sunset as co-parents. No. No, you're trying to have an emotional angle here and like slither your way back in. And it didn't work. You're just, you just look gross. I also loved, uh, Porsche at the end just yelling. There is no therapy for co-parents.
Starting point is 00:44:42 Like that was. Yeah, that too. It's like, you go to therapy? What? You're giving back the ring. What are you doing, bud? I don't get it.
Starting point is 00:44:50 But let's, uh, let's see what the fans have to say about this. Uh, Elliot from Orlando. Good. Go ahead. Oh,
Starting point is 00:44:58 Elliot from Orlando is Cynthia the number one in this cast? Yeah. Yes. Yeah. She's a friend of, but she, she is carrying a bit. Yep.
Starting point is 00:45:05 Liv Bender. Kelly's man paid 70K for veneers, but she had to give, had to have Shumia give her a free house. Yeah. And that's the funny thing. Again, because of her lack of openness, we all now are going, maybe it was because of her restraining order.
Starting point is 00:45:25 Maybe you're broke. Maybe it's both. I don't know. But you just got a free house and your restaurants going into bankruptcy. So, I don't know. I don't know. Meg Dub 15. Portia will forever be a fave, but she brings little to no storyline.
Starting point is 00:45:42 Is she holding back? We've had many conversations about whether or not Porsche is just coasting and doing certain things. She kind of has found that niche. I think it's something that's more apparent in a bad season. But yeah, I think her individual storyline this year is pretty much random Dennis Poppins and then also her dating, which is fine. But if you look around the cast, I don't think a lot of people are really bringing a whole lot to the table right now in terms of individual stories. There's not a lot of big storylines. No.
Starting point is 00:46:12 So I'm not going to hold it against her when I'm not holding. holding it against anybody else. The biggest storylines we have are this plot from Drew and we don't know shit about it. Yeah, exactly. SDMWVU, would you hire Fadre as your attorney? Yeah, sure, absolutely. Mm-hmm. Here's one of them from Blacksmith Trev.
Starting point is 00:46:32 Call me cynical, but did that seem between portion and Dennis seem contrived? I don't, I really don't think so. Again, from Dennis's standpoint, maybe, but like I don't think the two of them got together and said, oh, this will be good. give me that back. I need something to talk about. I don't know. It didn't seem like it to me. Maybe other people did. And that's fine. Portia's tears seemed real to me.
Starting point is 00:46:54 So I don't think so. But I think Dennis planned it for sure. I don't think it was like a master plan between the two of them, no. We'll do one more here. Go ahead. Andy Dorman. Now on Roa, Kelly, homeless, and not toothless. It does work perfectly to be honest. It does.
Starting point is 00:47:19 Because of the veneers, it works even better because your $70,000 smile, but you're borrowed townhouse from Shania. Yeah. That makes sense. Tough look. Tough look. Tough look. But yeah, we, we need to go rest up because we'll be back on the microphones in an hour
Starting point is 00:47:38 and a half to recap the summer house scenes that we're at the fucking. aftermath, whatever the fuck they're calling it. I don't know. This better hit. I swear to God, I swear to God. If this doesn't hit, I'm going to be fucking livid. Yeah, you are. But we'll get angry steel. Yeah, well, that's all I got. You got anything else? Nope. Well, that's our show. Brad Bros. are out of here. Look, we all know there are a lot of celebrity interview podcasts out there, but there's only one happy, sad, confused. I'm Josh Horowitzson. Yeah, I'm the host of the show, so I'm a little biased, but truly happy, say, say, confused is the place for nerdy and intimate conversations with all your favorite actors and
