I've got three things to say.
List them.
Heather's doing too much.
Whitney is Whitney,
and Meredith ain't doing shit.
Yeah, that sums up this episode very well.
And I was confused for the majority of this episode
because I don't know what to think.
And I don't want to think that.
So I haven't a hard time over here,
among other things.
I don't know if you've noticed my hat.
I don't know if you're talking to me or the audience.
Because yes, we had a conversation about your hat for about five minutes.
Broads and shows, I got to have me my bros and shows.
Bros and shows.
Brose and shows.
I got to have me my bros and shows.
Good evening, everybody.
Welcome back to another episode of Bros and Shows.
I am your co-host, Steele Russell, joined as always by the one and only.
Shrieker McGrieker.
Okay.
All right.
Now we're working with some.
We're really cooking with fire here.
um yeah so uh i decided to don this hat in honor of uh angie k wearing her greek hat that definitely
did not go with her outfit by the way mary was so right that was mary being very nice and i hope
everybody recognizes that mary was trying to be nice there but yeah we're finally in greece
and angie could not be happier it is very funny because i think that the rest of the women are
hoping that this is one last Greek hurrah and she'll finally shut up about Greece.
But it is not.
This is only going to embolden her.
Exactly.
I mean, Lisa even literally says that out loud.
She's like, I'm Greek out at this point.
So she's hearing it from her daughter.
She's hearing it from the castmates.
You know what she's waiting for?
She's waiting for what happens later when they're all staring off at the,
at the scenery crying.
That's all she needs.
And that she might ease off a little bit.
But I made a note.
I don't think she will.
I don't think she's just going to constantly make reference to that moment.
Like, it's just like when we were in Greece, you guys.
It's like nothing could happen on this trip.
And obviously things do happen.
And we'll talk about that.
But nothing could happen on this trip.
And you would still get Angie making a lot of references to that Greek trip and how fun it was
and how nice it was to get back in touch with her homeland.
If you take notice, everybody, if you go back and watch this episode,
every scene change when we're in a new setting
Angie leads it off with look how beautiful
every single time
even with the food look how beautiful this food is
look how beautiful that view it look how beautiful everything
that they see resort dinner
scenery fucking people doesn't matter
timeline screenshots
screen shots receipts beautiful beautiful beautiful but
let's just get too grease nothing really happens
on the way there
and we land
and look at the Mediterranean
it's the Aegean
it's the Agency
but here's where I'll give her a pass
I don't think that she's the only person
that would land in Greece
and go look at the Mediterranean
no definitely not
and I do love that that's one of the bigger things
that we've seen on Housewife shows
I mean the O.C. trip to New Orleans
strikes me right away.
What water is this?
What fucking river are we standing on you guys?
No one seems
no geography no one seems to know anything i'm not going to be hard pressed on that i don't really
care it's okay it's an honest mistake yeah and it was funny and uh just for reference it was the
mississippi the biggest river in the country is the one that they couldn't figure out okay
anyway they are in santerini so we get the shot of the blue roofs we've talked about the blue
roofs before, haven't we?
No.
So there are on the show.
There's only, like you and I.
Because, no, it's just funny, because you always see when anyone goes to Greece, so they
go to Santero and you always get the blue roof picture.
There are three, apparently.
Three blue roofs in the whole town, the whole city.
So to get that picture, which looks like, you know, you're standing solo with your
significant other, it's like a nice, apparently behind the.
camera is just hundreds of people waiting to take this photo in front of a blue roof.
Yeah, that much I do know.
And that's pretty much like any touristy visit place that you can find in the world.
They all look beautiful on TikTok.
They look incredible in pictures on Instagram.
You get there and you are swarmed with people that are just shoving you out of the way
to get that exact same picture.
It's very funny.
The pyramids is my favorite one because every picture you see is from like below looking
up at these just grand.
beautiful pyramids, this wonderful architecture.
If you do an aerial view, you're about like 50 yards from the city.
Like it's just a neighborhood cars and then the pyramids are just smack in the middle.
Yeah, it's awesome.
Anyway, enough geography so that she didn't get thrown under the bus by somebody else later, right?
So this is even bad for Whitney.
Like I judge her on a much lower scale when it comes to things like these on these shows.
I didn't even think that she was going to drag it out.
because I couldn't even fathom that she was going to try to drag that one out.
Having a confessional saying, I just don't know.
I guess I'll just move on.
I guess, you know, in the grand scheme of things, it's okay.
We're just going to be cordial.
Like, okay, cool.
Like, no one cares.
No one cares.
If you brought this back up, it wouldn't even be a funny moment.
I think that people wouldn't remember what they're talking about.
Like, what?
Right.
What are you doing here?
I don't know.
It took me a second to like put it down.
I was like, wait.
Oh, right.
She brought that shit up.
Okay.
Yeah, good.
Yeah, let's move on.
but we go to beef bar uh i believe it's anjones is the name of the entire resort beef bar is the
name of the restaurant very confused by the food choices uh yeah they looked good you got a salad
a truffle pizza and a cassidia mm-hmm we're in greece though yeah that's what i thought so maybe
we're not i don't know it was just and again i'm not trying to knock the food maybe it was great
but the most important thing is that the vibes are solid actually dinner number one vibes are
pretty good and she got the bags under her eyes fixed so we start having a whole conversation
you get the the classic line from a housewife from any housewife you just you point and pick one
that they all say things like you know i i don't really like filler i'm just more of a bowtile
okay cool yeah sure uh anyway Heather has a watch
this is like I don't know how she does this consistently season after season it's remarkable honestly it's a talent to get to this point to where you bring up something that is so beaten to death so annoying that you go from being one of our like I when I think of Heather gay not in season I'm like oh she's phenomenal she's one of my favorites she's great then you watch and you're like but you you always always
do this you're good and then you fucking plummet down with shit like this with the cardier watch
because i think i i just i think the cardier watch could have just been a funny little moment
where you guys are having fun on the trip and leave it at that just say yeah you know i overheard
lisa talking with angie about their cartier watches i thought it would be kind of funny if whitney
and i got watches too hey guys let's all team up and do a power rangers thing like that would be
funny if you don't go deeper than that and that's i think the problem that heather runs in
to every season it's always about something else now we got to talk about this and that and bring
this back up from last season or six fucking episodes ago it always plays out like that and it's just
so tiring because again like the beginning of it is just normal like hijinks that you're going to
get on a trip it's normal shit you guys are drinking wine you're having a good time you're letting
things go you're making a couple of jokes like i like that you walked into a cardier store and
just bought two of them for six grand each and just shrugged it off
great that's funny and you did it for a joke that's funny don't make it about anything else that's
where you have to draw the line the bit works great if you buy the watches and don't say anything
just wear them everywhere and put them in front of her face it will come up eventually it will
come up don't force the issue that's a bit what you're doing is not a bit you're buying a watch
and then trying to make a joke out of it because angie and lisa got in a fight about who
bought the Cardier watch first, which leads to a, like a fantastic fight between those two.
Yeah.
But yeah, it just falls flat.
The way that she presents it to the group, she just keeps on bringing it up, keeps talking
about it over and over again.
Lisa plays it very well.
Nice job, Lisa.
She's like, great, great, looks great, awesome, okay, cool.
But then her and Angie continue to get into it because she's always making the claim that
people are copying her, right?
So let's talk cars.
well I got a Porsche
I had one before you
oh yeah well I had five of them
oh yeah well I got a new one
and it's the only one in that color
and all of the United's you can't even get that color
so go fuck your as Bronwyn says
like this the shit I live for
yeah this is like a continuance of the horse conversation
and I would have loved it
if halfway through this conversation about Porsches
Lisa looks over and goes you know what
it's none of your fucking business how many Porsches I have
that would have been great
I've got Porsches and I've got horses.
What are you worried about?
I'm not trying to copy you.
You're not trying to copy me.
This is just how I live.
I live differently than you do.
If she said any of those things, I would have laughed.
But again, this is between Angie and Lisa.
This does not need to be infiltrated by anybody else in the group because that's what
works the best.
Angie and Lisa, when they get into fights like this and they're petty and they're talking
about the different things that they bought, that's always going to hit.
It's always going to be funny.
When anyone else tries to get involved, that they didn't actively bring.
in it just falls flat and it's like go away and i agree with you lisa did a great job don't let the
cardier watch thing that heather did because now she's going to be upset that her bit didn't land
that she's trying to be part of this just sure away and i think lisa's come a long way since that
yacht trip because earlier in the season we saw her get rattled at every fucking turn every time
someone said something that she disagreed with or was going against her or even cracking a joke
she would get all up in arms but she's finally settling back in and i wonder if it's because of
all the shit that Meredith went through, that she finally just realized, like, you know what,
I can just be myself.
I can just do my own thing.
And that's what we want.
I know I've been critical of Lisa Barlow, but that's because we expect more.
We expect her to be at a certain level that she has not been at this season.
And you can't convince me otherwise.
This is a gentle return to form is what we saw this episode.
And it leads to great moments.
If you just let her do her thing, let her live, such as they're talking about the Porsches
and everything.
and she trying to say now in this moment like it just reminds me like how different we are like
you care about i don't care about things tough to say when you're comparing portions but great
great i love the delusion but the better line is what what i have hobbies okay i sit in the tub
and i buy things that's not a hobby no it's not a hobby and the way that it's just spun out
immediately and this just shows that at least in this moment we're at a very good place because
somebody pieces it together right away whoa whoa whoa we're not we're not copying anything here right
meredith meredith's thing is the tub we're not talking about tub stuff you're right i actually sit
on the bathroom floor and i order see that's funny that just shows that you guys know things about
each other it's good timing we're making jokes nothing's too deep this is what we want we need you guys
to at least start the trip this way and don't try to force anything so at least for this
dinner, I can ignore the Heather
Cartier watch thing, I can just
get into that because that's a fun conversation to have.
That was great. It was
great. There was too much
too much Lisa Barlow pushing, though, by
freaking frack across the table.
Like, fucking chill out, guys.
It's not funny and it's not landing.
So let's go to the next morning.
You get a span
or a pan or whatever of the resort.
What do we get out of Angie?
Look how beautiful.
but it's not just not just stopping at the resort look at the honey
dude the honey one was really funny do you just
can you believe the honey here in Greece wow watch it go
like what are we doing it's so good it was so funny
and when she walked into other people's rooms because like
she is a good trip host if you want to call her that
when she walks into and i think it was heather sweet
we got we got to open up these blinds we just got we got to see the resort
we got to see everything everyone's still buying into it they're like yeah
I really wanted to see that.
It's like,
okay.
It's so fucking funny.
I hope she does it the entire time.
Every time.
Yeah.
And we learn that Heather's still upset with Meredith
over the,
like,
this is so subtle,
but this is where she lost me entirely.
Because I'm still upset with Meredith.
About the ultimatum.
What,
clearly she's not serious.
Because guess what?
Britney's there.
Yeah. So what the fuck are we talking about?
There is no ultimatum. She said something in the heat of the moment.
That's not a good sticking point. That's not a good argument. And then to double down and add
something to it and be like, the liar comment. Okay, fine. Be mad that she called you a liar
because she hasn't apologized and is denying calling you a liar. Stay there if you have to or just
fucking drop it. But don't do this where it's like, I don't dare you tell me I can't be friends with
somebody she's on the trip dude it's not a problem i i just don't i don't understand that when
the two of them are sitting next to each other and meredith is finally finally just being pleasant
we haven't seen meredith be pleasant pretty much the entire trip she's just yeah she's just
actually verbal like verbalizing things now great yeah she's getting involved in conversations
with people that she wasn't involved with last week they're moving forward and then this is like
the biggest problem for me i get it in the real world
If Meredith did that on a plane and then she said something to you and never apologized, you're going to feel sour about it.
But like you said, Brittany and, Brittany and Meredith sat down.
Brittany and Meredith are on this trip together.
They're not having any issues.
Why are you now making this about yourself?
Because of a one-off comment that she made while she was in a crazy, frantic state walking off of that plane.
Who cares?
It's a housewife show.
We move forward from these things.
If Meredith's not being held to the fire anymore because we just did this.
that Revolutionary War thing, then who cares anymore?
You can't do this.
You can't keep spinning it and keep pushing this onto us because now we're on a
completely different trip.
We've had a completely different plane ride with no issues.
Why are we still talking about this?
We don't have to.
We just simply don't have to.
And more than that, you don't have to sit there and be unpleasant the whole time.
You're going to let this ruin your whole trip?
Like, that's stupid.
No, but you do get some really good Meredithisms where she's now in the band and she's like,
you know, I do really want to talk to Heather because there's a misunderstanding about me calling
her a liar.
It doesn't take too much courtesy to just have a convo.
We're just missing each other.
We're just completely missing each other on that.
But I think that's how our brain works.
It is.
I don't think she acknowledges or recognizes that Heather's been trying to talk to you.
Right.
You have not wanted to talk to Heather.
And when you have talked to Heather, you have avoided what the topic was or acted like
nothing was going on, but now you're upset with Heather for lacking the courtesy to give you
the conversation and firmly denying that you called her a liar.
There's a misunderstanding about her thinking that I called it.
You did.
You called her a liar flat out that there's no debate there.
It's so funny, but like it just shows me that Meredith does at least recognize that there's
an issue here.
She recognizes that Heather has problems with her and they do need to squash it.
that she does it in the most Meredith way possible,
where it's like, hey, you know, if we get some time together,
like I'd love to sit down and we can talk about this.
Like, it's just, we're just missing each other right now.
Like, you know, she thinks I called her a liar.
And I think that she's not really getting what I was saying.
It's like, how else are we supposed to interpret that?
How else is Heather supposed to interpret that?
But the fact, again, that you're now getting a pleasant at Meredith,
who's like, yeah, why not?
We can talk about this.
This is fine.
This is okay.
Don't ruin this for us.
We have her in a good place right now.
You're going to ruin this by forcing her to talk about stuff
she doesn't want to talk about and then she's going to shut down again.
And then she's going to give us nothing and do nothing.
Exactly.
We don't want that.
That's what we've gotten this season.
It's not fun.
So leave her alone a little bit and to have the conversation.
Just do it like just so we can move on for this whole thing.
And then she'll feel comfortable drinking in front of you guys again,
getting a little drunk and saying stupid shit.
That's what she's usually good for.
But if you're going to deprive us of that because you have some sort of
acts to grind somewhere, then, like, no, let's not do that.
Agreed.
Goodbye, Kyle.
Did the sound of those words call to you like Pavlov's dog?

There are names that echo in the world of true crime,
names that carry unanswered questions.
Oakley Carlson, a five-year-old girl who deserved safety, protection, and love.
Yet the system built to protect her failed, and Oakley disappeared.
Her community still calls her name.
Or Ellen Greenberg found in her locked apartment with 20 stab wounds.
A case declared a suicide.
But how does a locked apartment tell two different stories at once?
These are not just cases we have covered.
They are people.
They were loved and they mattered.
Their stories deserve to be told with care, with depth, with truth.
I'm Ashley.
And I'm Ricky.
We are the husband and white duo behind crime salad.
Every week we uncover stories of the missing, the silence, the misunderstood.
We ask the questions that were left behind.
We refuse to let these stories be forgotten.
Because behind every case is a family holding on a community seeking answers and a story that deserves to be heard.
We invite you to listen to Crime Salad.

And they go to the beach.
Look how beautiful to have lunch.
And there's some dudes there.
And as Heather said, when they got there, and I wish this was actually her mindset for the trip.
It'd be a much more fun trip.
Let's get some tats, smoke some Greek sigs, and bang some Greek dudes.
Great.
Do that.
I would love to watch that trip.
That sounds like a blast.
Not buying Cartier watches and forcing them in front of people's faces.
Live that life.
That's great.
Speaking of dudes, we're talking about dudes on the beach.
You got flamingo guy out there who I had to ask.
you, I just wrote Flamingo guy and I watched this like four days ago.
So I was like, wait, who's Flamingo?
Hot Greek guy out there on a Flamingo.
Exactly.
And someone cracks a joke.
It's a pretty easy joke to make, given everything that's been going on with
Bronwyn and Todd,
Bronwyn being so open with the group, which is great, by the way.
You know, she's made some connections with Whitney because they were able to talk about
crazy things that, by the way, Bronwyn offered up that conversation.
I'd like to make that very clear.
So someone makes a joke.
Hey,
Hey, Bronwyn.
I know Todd was just jerking off on a plane.
You're going to get a number two while you're here?
I never.
Whatever do you mean?
I shan't be shagging anyone whilst here.
Todd and I are very happy.
And nobody's once referenced an open relationship.
You fucking liar.
What are you talking about?
What has happened?
I felt like I took crazy pills for this whole scene.
I was so confused.
It's outrageous that she did this.
This is the worst thing that she's done all season.
This is the worst thing she's done in two years.
This is egregious, and you had a terrible end of last season.
Let's just like re-go through everything that you've talked about when it comes to you and Todd.
You've been very open about this.
We sat on a boat last season, and you talked about the infidelities.
We now know about the plane issue.
We know that you sat down with Whitney and talked about how we might want to just get some sort of agreement.
and we might want to have an open relationship.
It's such an easy thing, and it was a joke.
This isn't going to be a typical Heather serious conversation.
Well, you said this.
I said this.
Like, you guys are in a good place.
I don't understand this reaction.
And especially now, given the, in light of the news that we actually know about right now,
you guys got a fucking divorce or you're getting a divorce.
You're getting separated, whatever.
But still, why not?
You've been so open about all of the Todd things for two seasons.
and now we make a joke about a Greek man
and you're like, whoa, no, absolutely not.
I would never do that.
Thought.
Maybe she's putting the pieces together for the separation
and didn't want to give too many hints.
Well, apparently there's no pre-up, so maybe that's part of it too.
That's what I'm saying.
Because I imagine that Todd's going to make this,
like he's either going to give one of two things.
The divorce proceedings are going to be a living hell.
and he's just going to have her in hell with lawyers or he's going to pay her out he's going to be
done right away and just pay her out like here you go here's a lump sum let's move forward and
she's going to drag it out i don't know which way it's going to go yet we're going to have to
keep tap on that one but my thought was maybe in light of this news she didn't want to put
too much out there she didn't want to say uh yeah i was thinking about hooking up with a guy while
we were in greece but it was just a joke and then you have to explain that away in court
you might be right maybe she is putting the pieces together maybe they did have a conversation before they left that we weren't privy to i don't know either way this is the worst thing she's done in two years because we were having fun and now you're being a buzzkill because we made a joke which by the way it was a joke to begin with we're talking about a group of women 80% of them are married at least right is that right i don't know if the statistics right there but it's it's basically just heather and brittany that aren't married so what what are we talking about this is it's
it's just a joke i don't know i don't know but it gets so much worse because she's like i never
said that you said open marriage n uh we're super happy all as well i wrote this down verbatim
intentionally yeah because i was like this is fucking crazy work you have to
heather points out the obvious brings up the pictures on the plane brings up him having to go
stay in a hotel because again braunwin you told us this this is this is not from people digging
this is you and then she calls her out well
you're not wearing your ring i wear different jewelry all the time that would be acceptable
except you brought attention to the fact that you're not wearing your ring because of todd not one
episode ago so to then change your tune now is ludicrous and mary calls it out too she's like well
you can't pretend like it it didn't happen we didn't separate but so was it a staycation
when he went to the hotel was he just needed to go to the spa Bdub like what are we talking
no idea. I'm with you. I feel like this was, I didn't see this coming. I didn't see any of this
conversation happening. I didn't see the tone changing that quickly. I thought that she was having
a great season. I thought that she was making friends with everybody. She's not even like careful.
She's not gone yet. This is egregious. This is a terrible move. I hate this so much because I, I can handle
just flat lying. I can handle acting like things didn't happen. But to do this after a,
three, four, five episode arc of leading us down that path and talking to Whitney on camera,
talking to Todd on camera, talking to the other group of women on camera about how you don't
wear your wedding ring, to just ignore it and say that that didn't happen.
That's weird.
That's a level of delusion that I do not care for.
I agree with you.
I'm just saying, let's not like write her off yet because now that we talked about what
the intention was with this, I don't know, because she then brings us.
up at the end I confided in you guys I confided in all of you what the fuck so that could mean
I confided in all of you guys why the fuck are you blowing up my spot on camera right now which is
still weird because she did it on camera too it doesn't make sense no no we're gonna try to wrap
our head around it it's never going to make sense but you know who it makes sense to and I
fucking loved this was a great Meredith moment I know exactly where you're coming from by the way
We've all been there.
Not the last time you're going to hear it from this fucking group.
Hold on,
Mare.
Because this isn't a Bronwyn issue.
She's the one that offered up all this info.
But that's what's funny because in Meredith's line of thinking,
because she does have a completely different way her brain works,
it does make sense.
Because in her brain,
she's like,
yeah,
just because I brought it up once does not mean it's free game.
Like,
you don't get to bring it up whenever you'd like.
I confide it in you.
And now you're going to bring it up again,
you bitches.
What is this a reality TV show?
you got it out for like it's just such a like perfect meredith chime in i like to think that she
was tuned out for the first half of that conversation and then got the read on the room
where she felt like bramwin was being bullied by the group about what she's doing with her marital
issues yeah and then meredith was like whoa we've all been here we're not doing this again
i've seen this happen you guys did it to me we were hanging by a thread we're still hanging by a thread
but you know we don't do the podcast as much anymore i know i know
where Bronwyn's coming from. You guys back off. You guys back off of Brownwin. She said it one time.
You leave her alone. No, Meredith, but thank you for chiming in. I appreciate that.
I think that is what she she clocked in to work at about the last fifth of that conversation.
All she heard was, don't talk about my marriage from Bronwyn. And he went, oh, it's triggering.
I know the feeling. What are you guys talking about? Wake up.
Yeah, yeah. I knocked her out of her slumber for a quick second.
I'm a sleeper agent.
Heather and Mary are talking about Meredith.
And they're both confused,
which is like this storyline's fine.
Getting to the bottom of what's going on with Meredith from Mary's vantage point.
I'm cool with that because Mary's like,
I'm worried about my friend.
She's just acting like none of this ever happened.
So now Mary's probably panicking because she's like,
fuck,
what happened to Bronwyn too?
Like there's something going around in the group.
But maybe they farted their brains out.
I don't know.
But they're trying to get to the bottom of this whole thing.
And Heather is giving all of her opinions on it, which she's very good at doing with the person that she shouldn't be talking to.
Correct.
Mary says what we're all thinking.
Yeah, great.
Say this to her face, though.
And look, I understand it's going to go in one ear or not the other right over.
Like, Meredith's not going to acknowledge what you're saying.
But we've watched this same show.
shit so many times in dealing with Meredith.
I would much prefer if we got to a point now
where it's like, look, we acknowledge what Meredith's going to do,
how she's going to play this.
She's not going to talk in front of the group.
I knew that before we got to that scene later.
She's not going to do certain things.
She's not going to make these concessions.
So just say exactly what you want to say without dancing around it.
Just go bang.
Here's what I think, Meredith.
And then when she responds the same way for the umpteenth time,
fucking move on and don't hang out with Meredith now.
like that's okay that's fine with me heather but this this song and dance where you go talk to mary
mary gives you sound advice and then you spin it into something different like it's just not going
to work mary i don't know i'm tired of that that that can stop well and that's the one thing that i feel
like heather is missing and that's what she always misses when we're going season by season she
has these conversations with other people she talks about how she's frustrated with a certain
person in the group because they're not getting it they're not understanding where i'm coming from
I'm trying to explain my feelings, and they won't have that conversation with me.
But she doesn't understand, even though it might not go anywhere.
If you sit down with Meredith, it goes a long way with the audience.
It goes a long way with the rest of the group.
Because if you come back and it's the two of you walking and you say, yeah, we had to sit down.
We just talked about everything.
Hopefully everything's good now.
Everyone's going to just take a big deep breath and move forward.
And we can all move forward.
It goes a long way with us because I don't want to watch you talk to Mary about it.
I want to watch you talk to Meredith about it because Meredith is not going to
understand, but that's a Meredith problem.
You're making it a you problem by doing this and going around her and skirting around the
group to tell everybody and it's only going to blow up in your face because once Meredith
catches wind of it, which she's starting to, but she's still kind of pleasant about it.
Once she catches wind about it, it's going to be a you problem.
And you're making this problem for yourself and it's stupid.
Perfectly said.
I'll leave that one right there.
That was well done.
all the ladies go to leave we're going to we're going shopping and then we're going to dinner lb
is still getting glam the line from angie it's a reflection of what lisa barlow thinks is important
is a fair point but it's also not a secret because lisa will tell you that right she says it
earlier it's actually a great line what i don't want to get it right why waste a day looking ugly
you know what that's the thought process and you can afford it do you boo boo i don't give
Who's to live by?
Do not care at all if you arrive to dinner later.
I don't care that you don't go shopping.
It's not a problem.
But I think that's what's starting to wear thin on me this season.
We got to get thicker skin across the group, right?
Lisa's actually toughened up.
Like, she's, I think she's back.
I'm cautiously saying she's back, which I'm glad.
But like she rolls with this one, even later when she gets there and like,
oh, Lisa's like, doesn't care.
She's like, look, I love to bop around by my.
myself take my time walk through the city shop a little bit and get to dinner that's okay like you
don't have to do every single event together while the other ladies are shopping and again
lisa still and glad we keep cutting back to her this is the view we walk up to the edge of the cliff
everyone looks out somebody starts whitney's the first one to cry and as soon as angie sees one
person crying she leans into it and tries to make everybody cry and successfully gets a
couple of them to cry i know heather shed a tear uh whitney shed a tear i don't know if brittany
shed a tear did she uh i think brittany shed a tear yeah regardless this moment does not call
for this because it's a lie and it's just stupid and she's like this is what i wanted for
Lisa.
No, you did.
What?
Come on.
Just enjoy the view.
See, no, I do believe that in Angie's mind, this was going to be a great healing
trip for everybody.
I was about to say this view would heal Lisa.
This would heal her.
That's what I'm thinking.
So by doing this and having everybody together, this was the big moment.
This was the moment watching the sunset while doing all of this with everybody together.
We've been through so much.
Nothing repairs your heart like the Grecian sunset.
That's all I've got in my head right now.
And Lisa not being there, I definitely think that that ticks Angie off.
And you and I are on the same page.
I don't care.
I do think that that's one of those things that does cross over from the real world into Housewives.
If you're on a cast trip, I'm okay if a couple of you split away.
Like we talked about it with Miami when they were in Spain and we had Alexia and Marisol hang back.
Like, okay, cool.
You guys are running around doing so much shit.
You want to do your own thing.
You want to enjoy some time.
go ahead and do it the cameras are still going to follow you who cares but angie didn't make it a big point to say i want the whole group up here to watch the sunset
she just said i thought that everybody was going to be here i just wanted lisa to enjoy this now she's not but now i'm going to make it her problem that she didn't enjoy it exactly i'm all right with that go ahead angie
okay fine you convinced me no i agree i think that uh solo or small group expeditions while you're on a planned trip are
sometimes the best part of the trip when you split away with like two people, three people
max and you're like, instead of going snorkeling today, let's go into town and just fucking
wander around.
Yeah.
So I have no problem with it.
At least in doing that is completely fine.
And obviously, like you said, she's going to tell you first when it comes to glam.
Of course I'm going to get clam.
I got glam everywhere.
We saw the meltdown at the Trixie Motel.
I don't need to see that again.
So go ahead and get all the glam you want.
Exactly.
Now Meredith and Mary are shopping together.
Heather comes up.
This is important because she's already said I tried to have the conversation.
She elaborates a little bit.
She called last week.
That changes this narrative quite a bit for me at least.
She made the effort to do this.
Granted, it was off camera, which I don't love.
But she made the effort, Heather.
So if Heather does want to go the route of,
I don't want to do this one on one, I want this to be a group thing or on camera.
Okay, I'm okay with that because you can force the issue.
You're on the show.
Fine.
If you're taking the route of I'm just so throttled, I can't possibly talk to her until I'm ready to talk to her.
Now it takes on a different air because your whole argument is that she won't sit down and hash this out.
Right.
But now Meredith has that argument.
And originally when I thought Meredith was just being Meredith, like, oh, I've tried and your attempts are like half-assed.
Oh, no, you called?
She didn't call you back?
I'm leaning towards Meredith now.
The whole thing goes out the window as soon as we find that out.
As soon as we find out that Meredith of all people actually reached out in the middle of all of that
where she wasn't talking to anybody, she refused to talk about the playing situation.
She just simply didn't want to do it.
She still tried to call you to squash it.
That tells me everything I need to know about how Meredith values your friendship.
That's what you want.
You're telling us on camera that you want Meredith to value your friendship.
because you're a day one Meredith rider.
Okay, answer the call.
Call her back.
Why would Meredith be calling you?
She's not calling you to coordinate outfits for the Greece trip.
She's calling you because she wants to talk about this,
which is what you want to talk about.
So as soon as this comes to light, no, I'm done.
I know what Heather's trying to do.
Agreed.
And it gets worse when we get to dinner, which that's what we're off to now.
And that's when Lisa arrives.
Again, shopping's not a must-do activity.
And she's not late to dinner.
I do understand if you're taking like a guided tour of some ruins or something like that, sure, because you put that together, you planned it, you paid for it, fine.
Shopping is that that's one of those planned activities that you skipped.
So her wandering up and then you want to say to her like, hey, if we be on time tomorrow, this is not a school trip.
You are not the teacher or the chaperone.
And she is on time for dinner.
Exactly.
She made it to dinner.
That's all that fucking matters.
know that everyone at home right now is probably like, why are they so stuck on this?
Because we know, we feel this one.
We've been talking about this since Miami and Marisol and Alexia split off because we totally get it.
So leave her alone.
Let her fucking live.

At dinner, Meredith gives Heather a peace offering.
This is a circumstance, right?
This is a circumstantial situation.
In other circumstances with other people,
I'm okay with you not accepting the apology via necklace.
Right.
When it comes to Meredith, this is her saying, I'm sorry for calling you a liar.
This is the nicest thing that Meredith has ever done as far as I'm concerned.
Yep.
This is her apologizing.
This is a full-blown.
I'm so sorry for calling you a liar and for the airplane.
Either accept this now, move on, or take the necklace and say, hey, you know, I was just upset that you, like, ease into it.
but with a bridge forward
where you can say your peace and then be like
but I love you thanks for the necklace. Instead you act
like the necklace is her trying to placate which it
is but it's Meredith. Let her play Kate
and just move the fuck on. But instead
Heather takes this as her time
to jump in on her and go after
her and she's like I wanted to talk
to you. I tried to talk. She's like I called you last week
I don't want to do this in front
of the group which I don't like
but given the lead up
where she attempted to squash it before
I will give her a pass.
I think it's bullshit when people are like,
I'm not doing this in front of the group.
It's like,
that's what you signed up for.
But you made the effort to squash this prior.
So again,
pass extended.
Yeah.
It's that same situation where now we're starting to question the motive of
did Heather not answer the call because she wanted to have this big moment on the
Greece trip.
Did she want to talk to everybody,
give her perspective,
try to get a couple people on her side.
So when push came to shove and she ultimately had to sit down with Meredith in front
of everybody. She now has cause to look at everyone else and say, look, guys, this is
what I'm talking about. I said that this was going to happen to every single one of you
individually. And now it's playing out exactly how I thought. That tells me that that's what
you were trying to do the whole time. It doesn't tell me when you're saying you value their
friendship. You would have just had that phone call. And again, you're still on a housewife
show. If producers get wins that you guys are talking, they're going to make you go sit down
one-on-one at the very least. We're going to have this whole conversation in
in person, go sit down on the same park bench that Meredith and Brittany sat on last week
and hash it out and we'll get to just see it. And then we can move forward. I don't love when
things get drawn out. And what you're telling me right now is you didn't answer her call because
you wanted to draw it out more, which is the worst thing that we could do. Agreed. And I mean,
they just go back and forth, back and forth. You call me a liar. No, I didn't. She is firmly
denying that she called her a liar. She literally called her. There was no
Other words, like she called her a liar.
You're a liar.
So that did happen, but again, it's Meredith, so you're not going to, if she's not going
to cop to the plane shit, why would she cop to calling you a liar?
No.
Now, with all those shenanigans taking place, Lisa chimes in a few times.
And Lisa, this is what gave me firm confidence.
I'm like, okay, I think she's back because she's level-headed.
She's speaking her mind.
And she tells Heather flat out, like, okay, well, they practice what you preach because
you're asking all of this of Meredith.
which is fair like yeah maris should be copying of this stuff and yeah she should be able to have a
conversation about it but you're very good at pressing people the minute that you get pressed
heather you collapse yep and then you treat people like shit and you say fucked up things and you take
somebody else wronging you as an excuse to then wrong them in return under the guise of i'm just trying
to get an apology i'm just trying to get to the bottom of it so lisa checks are like pretty good
and it was very subtle it wasn't like over the top i don't even think heather took the
time to register.
She's kind of moved on.
Yeah, that's pretty much what I got from that.
And again, I feel the same way.
I do feel that Lisa had a rough beginning of the season, but she's really clocked in now.
She has this under control.
And yeah, she's not really involved in it, but I do think she does have a reason to feel
this way.
She has a reason to say those things to Heather because of how Heather was treating her.
And in the beginning of the season, we agreed Heather doing that was needed.
We did need to do something about what Lisa was.
up to all of the things that she was saying how she was handling situations it just didn't play
out how we wanted it to it didn't play out how heather wanted it to Heather then drug it on even
further and it probably pissed Lisa off but it got Lisa back to a point now where she can make these
comments and she does have the ground to stand on because you can just make references to how
Heather was treating her in the beginning of the season or the middle of the season rather
and now here we are so I'm happy to see that Lisa is able to just string together a few thoughts
there without screaming and she's also doing it in a way that's not really
I'm fully on Meredith's side
or I'm fully against Heather.
She's just trying to add some perspective.
Just here you go.
I know what you're trying to do,
but you have to at least understand
the way that you handle situations is also shitty.
We all do the same thing.
We all just immediately deny and then move forward
and say terrible things.
That's what we're trying to fix here.
But it doesn't start unless you're also
like willing to take some responsibility.
Exactly.
And I think why you got more out of Lisa here,
why this was such a good scene for her,
it was all the reasons you said,
but also,
and why it was also a good scene for Lisa
is because she's able to shed light on perspective,
like you said,
and offer up to Heather like,
hey, for example,
like that shit really hurt my feelings.
And in episodes prior,
we've had her clam up or get loud or leave
and not be able to handle it
because of this roller coaster she's been on.
Now she can sit there,
get emotional.
She starts crying.
She's like, yeah, you know what?
It's really fucking mean, honestly, because you came after me.
I didn't do shit to you.
And now you're getting mad at Meredith for doing the same thing, but you're not taking
any credit or any accountability.
And to Heather's credit, she acknowledged.
She goes, you know what?
You're right.
And I'm sorry about that, which I was, okay, good.
That's good.
We can move forward.
Maybe.
We can start moving on.
No, absolutely not.
Are you fucking nuts?
And this is where Whitney is being Whitney.
And we'll always be Whitney.
No matter what, just give a time.
And Whitney will Whitney at some point.
And it always goes the same way, you know, it always gets really deep on a, on a topic that is not that deep.
But for some reason, she's at, you know, the Marianas trench depth and we are all treading in the kiddie pool.
But I see it so clearly now.
It makes so much sense to me.
It's all because of this, all of it.
Every single thing that is occurring right now in this group, top to bottom is Meredith's fault.
for how she treated Britney on the airplane.
Why?
Like, why are we doing this?
It's insane to me that this is how we're doing it.
We were easing in a little bit.
I felt like we were making some progress.
And Whitney just blows the fucking top off.
And you're right.
This is what she does every time.
And it's always ill-timed.
It makes no sense.
And it's always just cut and dry.
It's only your fault.
You're the biggest problem here.
Let's hash this out right now.
No, we were doing a good job, I think.
I think Lisa actually brought everybody back.
We got back to an emotional point, some sort of emotional state where we can discuss
our feelings, which I think everybody wants to do because everybody individually feels
like their feelings have gotten hurt along the way because of Meredith's behavior.
But doing this is not the way to go about it.
And it never works.
No, and it's always after the fact.
It's always when things are on the way down.
Like we're settling down.
Heather apologized.
Lisa's drying her eyes.
Meredith's chill.
like it's starting to level out like you're about to be able to have dinner and Whitney in that
moment's like because it gets quiet I think she's like oh it's my time yeah now I go well you
think that you know dude and don't stop coming at it from a healing journey like fuck me this is
not all because of Meredith and Brittany because guess what they're good they talked already
Brittany's fine.
Britney's interconfessional saying,
we're done, we're good,
we've moved on.
I don't know why we're doing this.
If Britney's having a sound mind,
you should at the very least.
It's because the cousins find a topic
and they deem it worthy
to continue talking about
regardless of who's involved.
They latch on to certain things.
They're like, oh, this isn't done.
We need to get to the bottom of this.
It's like OCD about irrelevant issues.
Mm-hmm.
So I like it puts us in a weird spot, right?
This is a great show.
It's a great show.
It's a good season.
I'm really enjoying it.
In years past,
this is where sometimes we start to dip or fall off.
It's exact.
Yeah, it's literally this.
It's Heather and it's Whitney doing too much with a situation that really doesn't involve
them.
Yes, she called you a liar, Heather.
If that's in addition to everything that you claim happened on the plane,
are we really that concerned about her calling you a liar?
Are we concerned about her berating Brittany for five hours?
That's a real issue.
Are we concerned about Brittany's well-being?
Or are we concerned about the fact that Meredith is claiming that she didn't call you a
fucking liar?
Like, that doesn't make any sense.
It does not track.
You're right.
And the way that we are right now, obviously leaving it on a cliffhanger at the end of the episode,
usually these trips tend to bring people back together a little bit.
It forces you to stay in the same room.
You don't get to go back to your house.
You don't get to go back and talk to your husband about everything that's going on.
You are in a suite with the other women in the group.
So usually cooler heads tend to prevail at some point in a trip.
And we were so close.
We were so close to getting there.
This isn't even like the fun chaos.
This isn't somebody just woke up and like Meredith is now screaming at someone about
something that happened weeks ago.
that can be fun.
This is never fun.
We've seen how this plays out.
So that's why I'm a little scared,
but I do hope,
and again,
getting that little speech from Lisa
talking about things
and not being mean about it,
I'm hoping we can move through it.
And I'm hoping that everybody
can just look at Whitney and say,
shut up.
Enough.
We're not doing this.
I don't know.
There's a small part of me
that thinks that that's what's going to happen.
Next episode we're just going to,
someone's going to be like,
all right, like Angie maybe,
hey,
right,
look how beautiful it is here can we just eat like something like that uh because i need i need this
trip to be fun i think the how this trip ends is going to dictate how this season runs
unfortunately or fortunately but if we can leave a lot of these issues in greece because at this
point we know we're going to talk about the plane again right there's already rumors about the video
fine i can be on board with that if we put it at like
episode 16, 17, 18, or even just 1718,
where it's like, oh, we're going to the reunion, remember the plane?
Okay, fine.
But in the interim, we're good now.
We have to move on.
Brittany and Meredith are fine.
Or else you're going to get stuck and this is going to go the route of the black eye.
That's what happens and that's where we get scared every season is Buck.
Is this Jen Shaw punching Heather in the face again?
Yep.
It's insane.
So I'm hoping.
I'm very hopeful.
I am too.
This is a great cast.
even the ones that we're shitting on right now,
they're good at their jobs.
So I have faith.
It's just every year,
every fucking year.
Always turns out the same way.
If we could just go back to ourselves like six,
seven weeks ago,
whenever we saw Heather start to do that,
we had some optimism that maybe she'll do it a little differently.
Maybe Whitney won't get involved and just tell us then.
Things might be a little different right now.
But unfortunately,
it happens every year.
Yep.
Without fail.
Death, taxes, and Heather and Whitney doing some stupid shit.
Oh, yeah.
But that's all I got.
You got anything else?
Nope.
Well, that's our show.
Bro's got to go.
From the darkest corners of our imagination,
comes a game show that's more ridiculous than terrifying.

In the meantime, don't get tickled to death.
Oh, the Regency era.
You might know it as the time when Bridgeton takes place,
or the time when Jane Austen wrote her books.
But the Regency era was also an explosive time
of social change, sex scandals,
and maybe the worst king in British history.
And on the Vulgar History podcast, we're going to be looking at the balls, the gowns,
and all the scandal of the Regency Era.
Vulgar History is a women's history podcast, and our Regency Era series will be focusing
on the most rebellious women of this time.
That includes Jane Austen herself, who is maybe more radical than you might have thought.
We'll also be talking about queer icons like Anne Lister, scientists like Mary Anning and Ada Lovelace,
as well as other scandalous actresses, royal mistresses, rebellious princesses, and other
lesser known figures who made history happen in England in the Regency era.
Listen to vulgar history wherever you get podcasts.
