Starting point is 00:01:13 Please play responsibly. We are off and running in Miami and I have to say, solid season thus far. And I'm glad that they're finally showing streaming numbers. I feel like it's been taking too long. They're putting up like 1.5 milly on peacocks. That's a big number. that's a huge number um i do just looking at it like from an unbiased point of view i do think it's a bit propaganda but it's the propaganda that i love because we need that we need people to
Starting point is 00:01:41 finally dig into those numbers because when i see there's a the twitter that i follow that has all the metrics all the ratings all the demographics and it's pretty much on par with like random spinoff shows and it's insane to me they're they're getting like under 300k when they're watching it live. And I feel like it's just doing, it's doing the community such a disservice. But at the same time, maybe it's doing them a service because people start talking about it. Like, how are these numbers so low? I watch it. My friends watch it. If you're not watching it, you're stupid. That's pretty much what we say. So watch Miami. There's 1.5 million of you out there. But I need three mill. Let's get those numbers on.
Starting point is 00:02:28 good morning everybody and welcome back to another episode of bros and shows i'm your co-host steel russell joined as always by the one and only south beach me geets what's up dude i thought you were going to call me officer magooter i should i mean officer magutes is a layup if you guys aren't watching on youtube uh shooter just got out of the shower and is freshly shaven and i believe looks like a police officer at the moment i think i've actually big question by somebody that looks like you when I was in high school for underage drinking. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:03:02 I would definitely be the type of cop that would steal the beer and just go drink. Like super bad cops. Actually, I don't know because I always felt like I was always in between on that when like kids would be drinking in the woods and a cop would show up and steal their beer. We'd all be pissed at them. But I feel like deep down, I'm like, you know, I mean, obviously that's way better than getting an underage.
Starting point is 00:03:23 So I'm not really going to get too upset about that. That's the one thing that I will always say that you don't even have to knock on wood for, never got an underage. And it's never going to happen. Yeah, yeah, me neither. Hey, high five. Hey, hey, now. Hell yeah, brother. That's because we would always have, not the nose for it, but we would always be like, I don't feel like going out and then our friends would get
Starting point is 00:03:42 caught. That's actually true. So the multiple times that our friends in high school got in trouble with the police, nothing serious. It was just like we were at parties and the parties got broken up and some people got, you know, whatever. nothing major but every single time were randomly nights when shooter and I would not go and we usually went
Starting point is 00:04:03 like 99.9% of the time. Yeah. Yeah but every time we didn't I think it was three or four times it happened and three or four times shit popped off and you and I weren't there. To be fair we'd probably just be like sitting in your basement still having a couple of beers but like playing video games just didn't feel like going out and do it all right. That sounds about right. I kind of feel like that right now. You know there's sometimes people are like oh, we're going to go out to the bars.
Starting point is 00:04:26 I'm like, uh, I mean, look, if you want to come over, have a couple of beers, play some video games on the town. Yeah, if you want to play the cube, uh, you go over the house. Well, the cube's a trap. The cube is a trap. Yeah, you stay until three of the morning. But we're not here to talk about high school or games. We're here to talk about just a great show.
Starting point is 00:04:45 It is a great show. It's off with a great start. Uh, it's like I said, the first episode. It's a different season than we're used to with Miami. But I'm going to. going to chalk it up to they're all genuinely friends even the ones that don't like each other they still interact frequently so all of the interactions all of the the drama the arguments even the nice parts for they're being nice to they seem so 100% genuine and authentic that it's so much more
Starting point is 00:05:13 enjoyable for me to watch it's just like ah it's like a breath of fresh air it's it's just so good it's exactly what housewives should be and this first scene really just capitalizes on that it's So camp. Like this is incredibly camp that we have a bunch of women walking through who admittedly and Andy even says so, we're all narcissists here. They're walking through and reading inspirational Instagram quotes off of mirrors. And you can see how different people are reacting. It's like irony in a bubble where everybody's judging the other person for being too narcissistic.
Starting point is 00:05:46 Like, hey, Lisa is over here. That's the funniest thing. Lisa is taking pictures, which I understand too because it looks beautiful back there. I mean, when Alexia and this guy are walking through, I'm like, wow, this is gorgeous. This is awesome. What a venue. How can we make this corny as hell? And that's pretty much what they were trying to do.
Starting point is 00:06:03 Lisa's taken a photo shoot and Marisol's helping out. And people are judging Lisa because they're like, you should be here reading these quotes, realizing that you're a narcissist. Meanwhile, everyone should be doing that. They're not obviously going to take it seriously because it is beyond corny. But it's so fucking funny. Like only the Housewives of Miami could really do this. I think Salt Lake could probably do it as well. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:06:24 Everyone else, it would be like a trudge through to get through this. Like, oh, God, it would break out into a fight. Somebody would leave immediately. Somebody would just walk off and do their own thing. Like, no, not them. They stay together as a group and judge each other about being a narcissist when they themselves are narcissists. And most of the women in this group even admit that at this point.
Starting point is 00:06:42 So it's just so great. It's just so funny to me. It was awesome. And the way the scene started out was funny as shit because Alexia introduces Daniel. She's like, this is Daniel. He's an author. I'm so happy. I don't know why, but his name just escapes me constantly.
Starting point is 00:07:00 And it is on the screen so often. And I guess I just never really read it or it just doesn't stick with me. So I'm happy you said Daniel because I was not going to remember his name. Yeah. Danny boy. Danny boy, the, I don't know what his title, life coach. I'm just going to throw him with my life coaches. He is, no, he's a life advice expert.
Starting point is 00:07:18 That I do remember. So a life coach. Yeah, but an expert. A fancy life coach. Okay, cool. You can imagine that there's levels to that sort of thing. Do the levels mean to anything? No, no, they don't.
Starting point is 00:07:31 You're still a life coach. Yeah. I imagine there's good life coaches out there. If you're a life coach listening, this isn't about you. It's just, I don't, Daniel doesn't strike me as good at his job. Daniel strikes me as, here's a chance for me to promote my three books. I remember his three books, too. So apparently it's working.
Starting point is 00:07:47 Dude, it's working. I don't know what's going on. Inception. Yeah. But Adriana wants to blink him. If she wasn't with French, she is, she says. So that was kind of funny. But as you've said already, there are mirrors placed throughout this garden with inspirational quotes pulled straight from somebody's Instagram.
Starting point is 00:08:04 And the minute that they get there, all of the ladies think that this is about Todd. And I think in a lot of ways it is. Yeah. Yeah, a lot of ways it is. I do also think, though, it is about the group because you do have a whole group of narcissists here. And that's also why we love this show so much is because of that. So watching this whole thing was delightful. It was absolutely delightful.
Starting point is 00:08:28 I just love Alexia going to a confessional saying, everybody thinks this is about Todd. And it's not. The secret is it's about all of them. And it's like, no, but it is about Todd. And I think it would go so far if in that moment you would admit, I started talking to Daniel because I wanted to understand the narcissistic tendencies that Todd had.
Starting point is 00:08:48 You know what? Actually, I'm not even going to waste my breath because it wouldn't get anywhere with these women. it's no and they in one ear out the other and then they'd be like why are we here though you know like what are we doing here it's also lost on alexia that she went to daniel because of todd and then now she's on the fence about todd so now this isn't about todd now it's it's about the ladies god any minute you could ask her and she's going to give you a different answer i know i'm so curious how it's going to go but what i like about it is we're not getting stuck on it right this is something we could get stuck on we're really not we have a lot more
Starting point is 00:09:19 going on we're not having 10 minute scenes about Todd every episode so they're doing a good job kind of navigating through it without slowing us down but like the little stuff was my favorite part like not obviously the photo shoot was funny as shit and just further proof like you're at a narc party this is called the narc party a narc party nars party a snitch or what are they snitching on people snarching yeah they're snarching snorching yeah you could snarching uh a narc party uh a nars party the nars party okay they're at a nars party the photo shoots hilarious but the subtle things cracked me up like the ladies fixing themselves in the mirror that have a quote calling them a
Starting point is 00:10:01 narcissist and then they're like oh shit like that's like yeah you're proving the point with the mirror I mean everybody loves a good mirror anyway like if you have an opportunity to look at yourself in the mirror yeah check yourself out see if everything's going well it's kind of I understand why they put it on a mirror like the symbolism is going to just hit you over the head, but at the same time, it's kind of useless to put it on a mirror because, you know, I'm going to look past the quote and see how I'm looking. I think anybody's going to do that. I think you're probably right there. I know I would, but Stephanie and Lisa, Stephanie, by the way, the jury is, the verdict is in. I'm a Stephanie fan. I like this episode.
Starting point is 00:10:39 Yeah, and I think the scenes from next week, I'm really going to like Stephanie. That was the, that's what sealed it for me. But yeah, we like Stephanie. But her and Lisa, pseudo makeup. you know, she apologizes for her reaction and she's expecting Lisa to take some accountability. That's never going to happen. No. Don't do that. But the fact that they're at least on neutral. He's going to thank you for the apology and then move on.
Starting point is 00:11:02 Correct. And that's going to be how it is every single time. So take what you can. I'm glad they're in some kind of neutral zone now because we like things resolved. So that's a positive. We can move off of that one. But Gertie, Julia, Lisa Larsa and Kiki are sitting down. And I'm not even sure what the topic.
Starting point is 00:11:19 of conversation was. But Gertie is bringing up how Julia's been treating her. And she's like, you know, it's just like Julia did this, did that. But I'm like, try to understand it. We're trying to move forward, blah, blah, blah. But she's bringing it up intentionally. And Julia in a confession was like, I thought we moved past this. It's like, you think you're a bullshit apology actually got you guys any further?
Starting point is 00:11:42 Was it even an apology? I wouldn't even classify it as an apology. You didn't get up and hug her. There was a standstill during that entire scene that we watched last week. I don't think anything got resolved. I can't imagine why you do. That's delusional if you think it is. And the worst part is she probably thinks that she came out on top.
Starting point is 00:11:57 Like I really got through to Gertie to explain why she's a bad friend to me. And like none of that came through, at least from what we saw. And I doubt that if there was anything of substance in that conversation that we didn't see, that they wouldn't put that on camera. So nothing really happened here. I just love the two of them have things going on. You know, Lars is sitting over there. She's basically talking about Lisa.
Starting point is 00:12:18 Kiki's probably wondering why she's even. there she's like i kiki's the one person i can probably point to in that group that she's got narcissistic tendencies everybody really doesn't she's a model of course she's got a little bit here and there but she doesn't really belong with the rest of the rest of the kiki kiki and gertie they don't strike me as narcissist they have like gertie gertie's more yeah there's tendencies and i feel like gertie is self-aware she understands she's like yeah of course i'm going to be a little narcissistic who wouldn't be if you're beautiful and you're going to look in the mirror and you want to fix yourself fine like those things
Starting point is 00:12:49 are fine. I think that I think Gertie's just as confused as the rest of us. Like yeah of course on a show like this on a housewife show, you're going to bring it up if you don't feel like it's resolved. Julia going to her confessional. This is what I this is something that Julia keeps doing that I really don't care for. She doesn't really say a whole lot in the moment and then she'll go to her confessional and she'll say a lot. It's like say it there. Don't I don't want to see a scene with you squashing the beef even though you don't want to call it beef in the scene, but squashing the beef with Gertie and then go to your confessional and have so much to say like it you you come across as a coward and you come across as just delusional and I don't really understand where you are and it really
Starting point is 00:13:29 doesn't convey to us the viewer because we don't understand what the hell's going on no it's just it's disingenuous and as you said it's cowardice that's all we're seeing from her it's like if you if you want to bark like you are barking in your confessional have the balls to do it in front of Gertie but you don't or in front of Marisol and Alexia that's who you want yeah yeah it's is really frustrating she's been extremely frustrating this season but the red flag game before it it even started i'm like lisa's going to lose like she's going to lose all of these like she has no fucking too fucking daniel coming up with this game i i think it's it's a masterpiece of a housewife game by far like it's one of my favorite games that we've seen so far because we knew how it was
Starting point is 00:14:10 going to go before it even started but you got to play with the right crew this crew it works with other crews they would storm out it would have ended up really good point it's a really good point but him trying to hold it together the whole time. It's an exercise so that we can resolve things. And like he could tell he's just getting more and more frustrated as it goes on. He did not know what he signed up for. He's just there because he wants to bang Alexia. Alexia might want to bang him.
Starting point is 00:14:32 Maybe if I get through this, we can grab a drink afterwards. I don't know. See how it goes. But she keeps talking about Todd. Like he's the greatest person ever when yesterday she talked about him like he's a narcissist. So I got to get through that first. But anyway, here's a game, guys. Have fun.
Starting point is 00:14:46 Maybe. I don't understand how he thought. thought it was going to go. And I don't know if he does this exercise with other people and other groups. It's like you're having people highlight some of the horrible tendencies of other people in front of them. And you think that this is going to fare well, especially at a housewife, I've done to do a little bit of research.
Starting point is 00:15:04 And the questions are- Wait, just the items that you're using, you're using red flags in a group of women who are all narcissists. Do you think this is going to go well? It's a red flag. Like, use a flower. How about a flower? A flower would have been nice.
Starting point is 00:15:18 Here, put a flower. Put a flower in there, and it's genuine, and it shows that you want to move forward this person because you think that they're beautiful inside and out, just like a flower. That would have been better. Isn't that nice? I just came up with that right now. I should start a self-help expert. Life coach Magouter.
Starting point is 00:15:36 No one should listen to me. Actually, I probably have really good advice for other people, but when it comes to myself, I'm like, I'll pick it out. I can see the post now. Just fucking get over it. Leave me alone. I don't really care. So fucking tired of hearing your shit. Quit whining.
Starting point is 00:15:53 You'll be fine. I don't know. I got to go. But the questions are funny as shit. Constantly talks about themselves. Lisa gets six flags. And then, you know, her response is narcissistic as shit, which is so funny. She's like, maybe I tell my problems to, like, through the wrong people.
Starting point is 00:16:09 And of course, Larsa and Lisa start getting into it during this. We knew that was going to happen. And I don't understand this one. because I understand the premise of the beginning. Like Lisa's like, all right, well, I have so much I could say about you,
Starting point is 00:16:25 but I don't. And she's like, well, say it's like, I don't want to, but I have receipts. She said, stop lying,
Starting point is 00:16:30 I have receipts. I am the receipt. What? That's bad, I'm actually really surprised. That's the first time we've heard that. I am too, but like thinking about it,
Starting point is 00:16:41 like it, I don't think it's like, you are the receipt. Yes, because like, you're proof that you're an asshole. Yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:16:48 Yeah. Yeah, that's a really good point. I get like, I know what she meant, but. Sure. Yeah. That didn't. Well, you know what? Whatever.
Starting point is 00:16:56 It's a great line. I'm just going to take it for what it is. Yeah, dude, you can't try to understand larcissism. It doesn't work, but upset too quickly. Who gets, who takes offense too quickly? Lisa loses again. Lack of accountability. Lisa loses again.
Starting point is 00:17:10 Meanwhile, Adriana is having her own little thing, putting it in Marisol's cup every single time, which is so fucking funny. But it's, this is why I like. like it now. And I feel like, you know, two, three seasons ago, this would have been a thing. It would have been Marisol going to a confessional, Marisol and Alexia having side comments. I think we've gotten to a point and I think they've gotten to a point where they just expect it and don't give a shit. Like, they're not paying her any attention, which is, you know, it's sad for Adriana. You know, she's still got a clean slate. She's still funny in my book so far, you know,
Starting point is 00:17:40 obviously she's done well. But this would have been a huge hang up two, three seasons ago. Now it's just like, I let her go, whatever. And I'm glad we got there because also what it does is it allows for Adriana to be herself and she's very entertaining when she's
Starting point is 00:17:59 not full throttle. So it's like you get those funny moments but it doesn't get taken too far. So she's kind of able to move quietly but in a very funny Adriana way. So it's worked out well this season. It worked really well. Yeah. The twisted tale
Starting point is 00:18:15 of Amanda Knox is an eight episode Hulu original limited series that blends gripping pacing with emotional complexity, offering a dramatized look as it revisits the wrongful conviction of Amanda Knox for the tragic murder of Meredith Kircher
Starting point is 00:18:31 and the relentless media storm that followed. The twisted tale of Amanda Knox is now streaming only on Disney Plus. Wait, I didn't get charged for my donut. It was free with this Tim's rewards points. I think I just stole it. I'm a donut stealer. Ooh.

Starting point is 00:19:20 But a banana. That's a yes. A nice tan. Sorry. Nope. But a box fan? Happily, yes. A day of sunshine?
Starting point is 00:19:26 No. A box of fine wines? Yes. Uber Eats can definitely get you that. Get almost, almost anything delivered with Uber Eats. Order now. Alcohol and select markets. Product availability may vary by Regency app for details.
Starting point is 00:19:38 And meanwhile, you know, things are heating up because everyone's getting pissed off. Not everyone. Lisa's getting pissed off. Everyone's trying to reason with her. And Larson, Lisa, are going back and forth. You have data going, this is an exercise. It's not an attack. It's an exercise. It's like, no, bro. This is a full frontal attack on Lisa with red flags. And now you're just, you're weaponizing red flags, physical red flags to go after one person.
Starting point is 00:20:02 How did you not see this coming? Like, maybe he thought that it was going to be more of like a wide array of I've got problems with this person. I've got problems with this person. We really didn't focus on that at all. Like, even Gertie and Julia, who have an apparent problem with each other, weren't really using it to go after each other. They had that conversation beforehand. And then, yeah, and then they just kind of like slid on from that. Everybody's just attacking Lisa. Like maybe this hasn't, like going back to Daniel and his exercises,
Starting point is 00:20:29 maybe he hasn't experienced something like this. Maybe he usually gets a better result where people are just kind of all over the place depending on who they have problems with. Maybe he does it with like families and sisters and brothers and whoever. And it just doesn't end up like this. But this is, you know what? It's a learning exercise for Daniel. don't do this again how about that yeah it doesn't work especially with a group of housewives like
Starting point is 00:20:50 it's it's totally not going to work and that's when julia decides to make it about her and she says what do you do when someone hurts your heart well did they apologize partially it's like what the fuck she's mad that gerty had a response and said mean things after you threw water in her face of course she had a response that's what you're holding against her now that's the hardest part part of this whole thing is she's jumping around as to why she's mad. Is it because of the cruise? Is it because of the dinner? Is it because of something else that happened?
Starting point is 00:21:24 You've listed too many different things. You're not staying on track. So that's where it points to you just have a vendetta against Gertie for some bizarre reason. Yeah, it's partially what we talked about last week, I'm sure, but it's also, I think that she just felt for whatever reason that Gertie was a bad friend but didn't really project. and now the reasons are things that have happened after Julia did things. Julia was the aggressor in all of those accounts. And now Gertie is responding to certain things.
Starting point is 00:21:53 You can't say our friendship was fractured because of what Gertie said to me back at that dinner because you did so many other things beforehand. You're not taking one, obviously, you know, of course, that's what this exercise is about. You're not taking accountability for anything you've done. Red flag. Still not getting back to something that happened in the off season that put a fracture between the two of you. So now you're leaving us guessing, which is going to result in the things that we talked about last week. It's going to result in us saying, well, you just want to be coddled by
Starting point is 00:22:22 Marisol and Alexia and be friends with them. So you're cutting off Adriana. You're cutting off Gertie to try to be friends with them, which is what we're seeing happen in real time. And it's going to blow up in your face. So I just don't really understand it. And I don't think she does either. No, she doesn't. And I think at this point, it's like she's gone so far in that she doesn't want to admit defeat and like just apologize to gertie which would go so much further than whatever the fuck she's doing right now but for sure the last question is playing victim and of course lisa loses this one by a landslide and lisa's trying to respond and daniel's like lisa like no this is no ladies ladies and lisa's like hey dickhead shut up i'm going to say something
Starting point is 00:23:04 now it's like i think you you actually have to let her talk at this point and that's where it flips to Larsa and the Jody thing and she starts going in about Jody and you know, that's where Lisa's again saying, I haven't said anything and I have so much more to say. She's talking about how she hasn't said anything since the Lenny, Lenny, Lenny speech from Kiki, which we were all thankful for because all we heard about was Lenny. And she's, but she does like, this is when I wish that she would have some kind of self-awareness because she's like, I haven't said anything about Lenny. By the way, like it still sucks. Like Lenny still, it's like, oh, see, but you just did it right there. I was okay with that. I, because she hasn't. Yeah, just because she hasn't. And I
Starting point is 00:23:47 remember how bad that was. Like, we were down bad during the whole Lenny situation because she talked about it constantly to the point where Gertie's talking about breast cancer and Lisa is still talking about Lenny and we're like, shut the fuck up. She did stop. She fully stopped. And I thought that it kind of added a little bit of perspective. And obviously, you know, it's Lisa. So you have to kind of take things as they go, but I felt like it added a little bit of perspective, like, hey, by the way, you guys might think that I'm not talking about Lenny right now and I'm not talking about him a bunch because things are getting better, but no, they still fucking suck.
Starting point is 00:24:19 They still suck. And I haven't talked about him in a year. So it kind of shows you like, here's an example. Shit's going on. Shit's hitting the fan. We saw her talk to Jody about the things that are going on. And she's not talking about it in the group because she doesn't feel comfortable doing it. She's trying to like rein herself in a little bit.
Starting point is 00:24:34 So I feel like that's a point that gets missed by this group where they're like, oh, God, here we go again. She's doing it again. It's like, no, you guys called attention to it. And it hasn't happened in a year. So now she's talking about it. So that's the problem. That's fair.
Starting point is 00:24:47 That's actually a very good break then. I agree with you. You've flipped me, sir. But then, as Lisa does so well, she bucks it up by saying, I wish you guys had more problems than I had. It's like they all do have problems. Blum's Gertie is on the tail end of battling cancer. Julia and Martino with the kids and all of that and that journey to get there.
Starting point is 00:25:14 Everybody in this group has a litany of issues. So to say something- Adriana has a lot of money going out to a French man. Yeah, like she's, she's, that would be really funny if that was true. Alexia is trying to navigate Todd. Well, that's her own doing. Actually, those two things are back. Actually, both their own doing.
Starting point is 00:25:32 Larson is in the back end of the Marcus shit amongst many other things. Yeah, well, you know, I guess she's not, she's not right. She's not right. No, they all have, like, the point is, like, all of you have problems. So when you say stuff like that, it just confirms, but it was actually nice because we don't like gangups. It's never fun. This one was probably the funniest one we've seen just because of the setting and how
Starting point is 00:25:57 it was going. But gangups still aren't fun. So I'm glad Adriana stands up and says, like, look, we're all narcissists, all of you all of you are narcissists leave lisa alone this is a gang up knock it off she just lost her father which i agree like we seem to be glossing over that every time the ladies get together like she did just lose her dad guys can we settle down a little bit like just a little bit and like let her agree through this thing like they're not going no they're not going to because i i deep down i think that they all think that she's full of herself obviously but i do think the majority
Starting point is 00:26:31 of the women there think what Lars has said, which is, oh, now your dad's a problem. You're in Milan a week before he passes away. You could be spending time with your dad, but instead you're doing this. And now you want us to be like, oh, how's your dad? How are you feeling after he passed? And I think that's pretty much what they think. But again, that's, I think that she doesn't really get that benefit of the doubt where it's like, it's her life.
Starting point is 00:26:53 Her dad just passed. She's grieving still. Regardless of what she was doing before he passed or leading up to that, doesn't really take away from the fact that she's still all. her dad you know what I mean and I feel like they they kind of miss all of that because of her behavior around both events and she wants sympathy or I don't think she's really demanding it she's not asking for sympathy she's asking for them to not gang up on her at the moment and they did that at the the baby shower and they're doing it now so it's like when you push her to a corner
Starting point is 00:27:20 that's what she falls on like hey I'm going through a lot of shit and my dad just passed maybe give me a little bit of a pass and she kind of breaks down obviously and I feel like they're just never going to give her a pass for that. But I don't think many women in this group would get a pass for that. And that's kind of interesting. I agree. And it is. It's a valid point. But as every event with these ladies end, Lisa goes to cry in the bathroom. And as everybody's walking away, you get a very funny interaction between Larsa and Julia because Larson is like, I was just playing the game. It's like, where are you? Because you were smirking every time you put the red flag in Lisa's. And Julia's like, I know, you know, we're supposed to say how we feel. And I say how
Starting point is 00:27:57 I feel, and we get punished. It's like, no, you're a piece of shit this season and you're not taking any accountability. So you're getting punished. It has nothing to do with you speaking your mind at all. Actually, if you were able to speak your mind more clearly and we could understand why you're upset, it would probably go a long way. But you're not doing that because you're incapable for some bizarre reason. I don't know. I think, and I've been saying this about a lot of housewives recently, like Emily in Rosey, it just feels like I don't think.
Starting point is 00:28:27 she's happy. I just don't think she's happy. And she's like lashing out because of it. Yeah. I think that's just Lars's personality. And when it comes to Julia, there's clearly more there. And this is, I do genuinely think that she doesn't know how to analyze what she's going through and figure out the root problem of why she feels the way that she feels. Nor does she really want to. She seems like the type of person that's just focused on the here and now. and she's feeling a type of way, but she doesn't want to dig back and figure out, oh, why am I feeling this type of way? Is it because of what I went through
Starting point is 00:29:03 when I had my baby before my baby passed or when I had this? And now I've got two more kids and I'm worried about that. I don't think that she's the type of person that's going to talk about all of that until she finally hits a breaking point and then it all comes out.
Starting point is 00:29:14 So not that I'm wishing that upon her, but I think that that would provide her, the ladies, us, the audience, a lot more perspective if she were to hit that point because we'd seen her do that before where she just breaks down and just starts screening all of the shit that she's going through. It's like, okay, there it is. You got to duck your chest.
Starting point is 00:29:30 Do you feel a little bit better? It would go so far with the audience, too, just to understand. I would still be Team Gertie through and through, but at least I would know what's going on because at this point is too damn confusing. But Gertie steps in. And in her confessional, she's like, you know, all I'm asking from this group for is empathy. So I'm going to show them how to do that. I fucking loved at this moment.
Starting point is 00:29:55 She pulls Lisa and Larson, sits him down on the couch, then leaves that she goes, you guys listen to each other. Listen, listen, listen. Okay, go. And then she walks away, but she's listening in the other room. And it starts off how it starts every time with Larsa. Do you feel like I've been a very good friend? And Gertie's like, fuck. Nope, nope.
Starting point is 00:30:13 And like walks back in. She goes, we're not doing that. We're not going to do that guys. Okay, you always start with that. We're not doing this. She sits down to mediate, literally, as they're going back and forth. And Larsa blames Lisa. We're not telling her her issues.
Starting point is 00:30:26 And Gertie's like, no, no, no, we're not doing that. And they're both kind of rolling their eyes at her. And they're like, we don't need Gertie. We don't need the third party. It's like, actually, you really do because you guys get so off track. Yeah, you guys definitely get off track. And I was a little confused too because the way that Gertie was going about it was, I'm going to sit here and talk to you guys through this.
Starting point is 00:30:48 Like every time that you say something that is not going to be helpful, I'm going to stop you. And when they get to the point of, you know what? The two of us just need to sit down alone around just ourselves. Nobody else from this group is going to come. I thought Gertie was going to be like, what the fuck? No. Like, no, you're doing this now. I'm going to watch and I'm going to mediate so that there's no horseplay.
Starting point is 00:31:08 I don't want any of this shit. Instead, she's like, yes, 100%. Go ahead and do that. Exactly. I guess that's like lesser of two evils. It's either do it now or do it alone, but you can't do it around the group because I'd rather not be there, but nobody else can be there. That shit was funny as hell.
Starting point is 00:31:23 Yeah, it was a great. great moment. We got a quick flash to, I don't know what the fuck that butt thing was except for butt toning. I'm not entirely sure. But toning, I guess.
Starting point is 00:31:35 But it's got the equivalent of 20,000 squats. Pretty cool. Big fan. You didn't hear that part? Stupid. No, I was writing things down. I'll try it out.
Starting point is 00:31:46 Although, you know what I have? Which I realize, because I have one of those theragons. A nice ass. Oh. Oh, wow. you're lucky we're remote I'd give you a smooch um but no um I had a therrigot and I found out that when I was using it like on my legs or my back my face would start to itch like crazy so apparently
Starting point is 00:32:07 there's a condition where if you have like a vibration or something on you for a long period of time if you get like an itchy face some sort of condition I don't know I have no idea really I think that's what would happen yeah it's in student it's crazy it felt like I was breaking on the hives is it because you're colorblind? It's because I'm colorblind. Yeah, it's a byproduct of not being able to see colors. Colors and vibrations really fuck me up. Maybe it's maybe I need to just push through it and then it's actually going to help me see
Starting point is 00:32:35 colors. Maybe that's what it is. Maybe it's the colors coming back to my eyes and my face is going to ditch me. Sort of like when sunburn heals, you know? Yeah, totally. You're going to come to my house to record. Your face is going to be all like puffy and like allergic reaction. What happened?
Starting point is 00:32:48 Scratch is all over my head. You're going to fight with a fucking cat? What happens? Farragone. Don't talk about it. But let's keep trucking. We get Julia with Connie, the social worker. And this is what sucks, because in years prior, like, I've been a Julia fan.
Starting point is 00:33:03 And this whole storyline with her and Martina adopting these boys is, like, a cool thing. And I want to be happier. It is really heartwarming. And I'm not trying to take away from it. It just doesn't hit as hard because I'm like, you're being such a dick right now that it's harder for me. I'm still stoked for her at Martina. and like this scene was really lovely yeah and i thought connie as far as like when we get third parties on these shows that are you know therapists or random friends or managers whatever yeah
Starting point is 00:33:33 it always seems so like played up and like they know the cameras there i thought connie was like the most genuine guest ever two of the three on this episode i mean we're going to leave daniel out there because he didn't know what the hell was going on now russelling Russell and Gertie sitting down with, you know, that's some sort of therapist, I imagine. She was great. She was awesome. So she was great.
Starting point is 00:33:55 We had this woman be great. But the problem with with Julia and Martina now because of fucking Martina on Twitter going nuts, like what the fuck are she doing? What happened there? I didn't see that. She's just making very problematic comments online, talking about like surrogacy and like all this shit. Yeah. It's just brutal.
Starting point is 00:34:11 So she listened. Yeah. Well, that's the problem is in a nutshell, if you, You just tell me like, hey, this couple, they're adopting two boys. They weren't able to do it. They're a little older, but they're really just giving these two boys a great home. I'd be excited. I'd be happy for them.
Starting point is 00:34:28 Then you put in Julia and Gertie and what, or Julia and Martina, and I'm watching Julia on screen. And I'm like, what the fuck are you doing? Like nothing you're doing in life. You're making it really hard for me to be happy for you in this moment. Exactly. And then Martina, Martina currently, it's like, I'm not happy for you guys. I want to be, but you guys are starting to turn into assholes.
Starting point is 00:34:46 and I don't want to be happy for you. So they're making it really difficult. And that's why I feel like this scene as itself is nice and thanks for sharing. But when I look at the people, I'm like, I don't really care that much. Exactly. That's exactly. And I didn't know about the Martina Twitter shit. I don't go on Twitter really.
Starting point is 00:35:04 So yeah, I retract my statement entirely, though. And that's the point. Like, if you act like douchebags, we're not going to support you. And like, I think we've been. Keep your fucking mouth shut. Like, when you do not need. to comment on shit your life is your life you're going through a lot what do you care what other people are doing like it's just loser behavior i hate yeah i can't stand that's my biggest pet peeve
Starting point is 00:35:27 in the world is people giving a fuck how other people live their lives it will never fucking make sense to me isn't it like you don't you have enough problems with your own fucking life you got to worry about what people are doing with theirs like that dude that sounds until until whatever that person's doing impedes on like civil rights or something like that that it's like or humanitarian right sure that it's like okay i care because you're an asshole right but if you're really gonna be like oh i'm gonna judge other people because they're doing this stuff like fuck off yeah go go shit in a hat and put it on yeah there's that's something i think it's just go shit in a hat and put it on yeah i think it's go shit in your hat but go shit in your hat and then put it on
Starting point is 00:36:05 double down bitch i think to put it on is implied yeah i know but you know i just wanted to make sure people don't think i'm out here shitting in hats you know yeah that's a good point got to clarify you got to clarify but you never know step Stephanie and her family get together for dinner and she moved up a lot like I've never disliked her as you know I was just like curious as to which way she was going to go yeah the more we get from her the more I'm liking her like I really enjoyed this scene I thought it was hysterical that Massoud and her dad are two years apart but they have like that's my papa that's my papa he's like I love this guy her dad rocks
Starting point is 00:36:43 he's like I love this fucking guy this scene I feel like solidified that I like Stephanie because we talked about last week if you're going to bring up the sibling thing and how you guys don't talk anymore we've seen that go awry we've seen that get to the point where we're like okay we're not getting any answers
Starting point is 00:36:59 I don't want to do the Danielle from Jersey Ronja I wanted to call it Roney and then I stopped myself and then Rojo whatever it could be run hey Roan hey I just just don't want to do it again unless there's some substance to it.
Starting point is 00:37:16 But the way this conversation went, obviously incredibly pleasant. It seems like Stephanie's parents are awesome. The fact that they were just so welcoming to Massoud and their marriage and all the things that they were doing. And Massoud seems genuinely happy and loves her parents, loves his in-laws. All of those things are great. I thought it was going to take a turn as soon as she starts talking about her siblings. I'm like, all right.
Starting point is 00:37:35 Let's see how this goes. And her dad immediately goes, yeah, they're incredibly sensitive. It just, I don't really understand it. And her mom's like, yeah, it breaks my heart. I'm like, one, I don't like that the siblings are being trashed without actually having representation. That's where I was like, you're going deep on the parents right now and I'm still not sold on them yet.
Starting point is 00:37:52 I'm not, I'm not sold on them. Okay. But what it did was it at least gave some sort of credence to what Stephanie was saying, where she's not making this up, you know, and it's not like, hey, I've got these sisters. I'm being super nice. They're being assholes. And it's like, okay, well, what did you do? Because there's got to be something in there.
Starting point is 00:38:10 You must have done something. But now talking to the parents, it's like, okay, it seems like you maybe really didn't do a whole lot. They're just feeling some type of way because they're sensitive about it. But yeah, I saw where you were going when you made that face towards the end. I felt the same way. I'm like, all right, but let's not bash them too hard because they're not on screen. They can't defend themselves.
Starting point is 00:38:29 We don't know their side. Yeah, and it's tough to, like, alienate yourself from your family when your parents and your sister are on TV talking about you and how sensitive you are and how you're not repairing the relationship with your family. But I don't know. It's sort of a mixed bag, but I'm leaning more towards, okay, Stephanie's telling the truth at least. And that's enough for me.
Starting point is 00:38:49 Yeah, I agree. I'm not, like, bashing anybody. And I like this scene and I really enjoyed her parents. I'm like watching them both get emotional. It tells me that they at least have a heart. Yeah. It's just her dad's reaction was the only thing I got a little stuck on. So I was like, all right, well, you know, you're calling them super sensitive.
Starting point is 00:39:05 But is that because they're not like cutthroat business people and they don't live by the credence of, always have a knife in your mouth and keep moving forward like there's just questions i like that saying though yeah i really like that saying um but it's interesting because last week we saw masood say look i still love them i really love them so we get that from him but then the dad's like yeah they're super sensitive they're never going to get over that so it's very interesting to see like the dynamic between the two of them even where we've seen husbands in the past be like yeah fuck them screw them they didn't accept the the range rover as a gift it was just a nice thing that you did for them and now they're just being mean to you no he was like look i still love them it is what it is and the dad's
Starting point is 00:39:46 like yeah they're super sensitive i don't know if that's going to work so it's just a really weird situation that's going on here but it seems real at the very least i'll give her some kudos yeah and like her dad at the end was like upset that the relationships fucked up so i was like all right because in the beginning he was like yeah it's all on them so that's where i was like me i don't know yeah i agree so we'll see how that one shakes out i enjoyed everybody like i'm not out on anybody and i i solidified my i can't take another i can't take another husband's going the opposite direction on us though if missoude does something bad or something comes out about him i mean something already kind of did come out about him i don't know did you see that well it's poor uh
Starting point is 00:40:27 not really positive i mean it was a long time ago apparently but he Stephanie was on watch what happens live and she was sort of taking Julius side in the Gertie thing. Not necessarily, like she wasn't going hard for Julia saying that Gertie's a bad person or anything, but it was enough that has upset the people and there's a lot of people that support Gertie. So they dug up some things. And apparently the way that Stephanie and the suit had met was she was working at his firm or his office or whatever.
Starting point is 00:40:57 And he was married and they had a bit of an affair and then he got divorced and then they moved on. No, one of those. Okay, that tracks. It's one of those, like, don't let your wife get in front of your girlfriend, getting the way of your girlfriend. I don't know. What's that saying?
Starting point is 00:41:10 What? You haven't heard that saying before, yeah. Don't let your girlfriend get in the way of your wife or something, I think it is. And I just kind of twisted it. But it was a little, I don't know, at least if they're going to have an affair, they ended up getting married and they have a great life together, you know? So it's not like it was just a one-off type of thing. Sure, the bright side of infidelity.
Starting point is 00:41:32 I'm trying so hard. I just love Massoud so much. I'm trying so hard. You sound complicit. Hit pause on whatever you're listening to and hit play on your next adventure. This fall get double points on every qualified stay.

Hey, happens to the best of us. Enjoy some goldfish cheddar crackers. Goldfish have short memories.
Starting point is 00:42:45 Be like goldfish. Let's get to Gertie and Russell for a very heartwarming scene. They're going to couples therapy because I believe the root of the issue, and it's not really an issue, but because Russell was taken care of her for so long during this cancer thing and saw her at her worst, you know, battling everything, she's afraid that he views her as like his caretaker or sorry, vice versa that. He's like the caretaker and that's what he feels like now. And she wants to get to a place where it's back to normal. They're a couple. They're attracted to each other. It's 50, 50, all that. So I love that they go to couples there.
Starting point is 00:43:23 They don't strike me as like needing therapy to like fix a marriage. But I like that they're proactive and like, hey, let's go attack this together and like, get on the same page that's cool to see and like we've been russell fans since he came on the screen the first marriage on bravo best by four best marriage on bravo and best husband on bravo he's the fucking man i love russell and he's going through his thoughts on the cancer journey and everything like that and there was a moment this is i i i cried you're up i did it was sad it was so sad that like listen you know she was talking about she reached a point in her cancer battle where she was like,
Starting point is 00:44:04 I'm not doing chemo anymore. Maybe this is my time. I can't do it. Like, this is too hard on me. And Russell said to her, you can't do this to me. The kids and I need you. Like,
Starting point is 00:44:14 I need you. And like, that was the moment that kicked her in the ass a little bit. And everything changed. And she started to really fight. And as we know, she beat cancer because she's a badass. But watching that was so just heartwarming.
Starting point is 00:44:28 And the way Russell talks about it, like seeing somebody so powerful and energetic, just shut down and like he really he doesn't strike me as a guy that's like outward with his emotions yeah he's probably hard to get things out of him as the scene kind of prove but he but he is with his wife yeah that's like that's the all the the tropes about being a manly man and not showing your emotions and all that shit i think he's got it down i mean he's a first responder so you know you don't a fire chief yeah you don't expect somebody like that to be out in the streets it's like crying about certain things.
Starting point is 00:45:01 But when it comes to his wife and it comes to his family, that's when he shares his emotions. And I thought that that was a really good scene. And it really hit home. It was just nice to hear him say, like, I do have to turn the first responder type of thing off in my brain. Like I want to be there. I want to wait on her hand and foot.
Starting point is 00:45:16 But she also needs to see that she's strong enough to get through this. Like there's so many different nuances that went through this. And it was such a great scene. And honestly, like we talk about, like we said before, we talk about these experts and these therapists that come on Bravo. and it's like, all right, fuck off. Like, we don't want to hear what you have to say. This was a lot more just like, hey, I'm here, sort of like a mediator.
Starting point is 00:45:36 Like, I'm here. You guys don't really need therapy. You don't need couples therapy right now, but it's, you know, you went through a lot of shit. So like, get it off your chest. Let's talk about it. How did you guys get here? What's going on?
Starting point is 00:45:46 What do you expect for the future? Let them talk. Let them get through everything. And I feel like this is the best couple on Bravo to do that because they do share their emotions with each other because they communicate really well. So these scenes getting thrown in, especially in a show like, of Miami where it's just chaos. People are just insane.
Starting point is 00:46:02 You get a scene like this and you're like, oh, that's awesome. And we used to get scenes like this from different people. I mean, we've seen it with Dr. Nicole in the past and obviously she's not there. She's sorely missed, especially now. I mean, I feel like she would have just been riding so hard for Gertie and called Julia a weirdo right away probably. But there's so many different things that this show can deliver and this is one of them. I agree.
Starting point is 00:46:22 I agree. And, you know, the line he also said where he's like, I'm not traumatized. I'm amazed. I'm so proud of you. I was like, oh, my gosh, this guy's the best. God, I want to marry him. Yeah, same. But the therapist recommends individual therapy,
Starting point is 00:46:36 and Russell brings up the fact that he's mentioned that to Gertie, and we get to find out more about Gertie. Obviously, we know that she had a difficult childhood. We get a little bit more insight into that. I guess she's one of seven, and her dad moved to Miami for the church, only took her and her brother, and everyone else stayed home.
Starting point is 00:46:55 And, you know, she, her reaction to that was the opposite of what I thought because she was like so all my other siblings got to stay and be friends with each other and live that life and I got plucked away from it and then she got dumped at a cousin's house for three months that has led to abandonment issues and it was it was really interesting to watch the confessional she gave because it's almost like she figured out why she is the way she is in that much she's like wait a minute that's why I'm this way is because of all of this.
Starting point is 00:47:25 It's like that kind of introspection is why we love Gertie and why she's always been great because she is so self-aware. So that's where I'm struggling so hard to even remotely see where Julia's coming from. So I'm like, you're talking about a person that
Starting point is 00:47:40 always understands when she's in the wrong at some point and will always be the first one to say it. So what the fuck? Like it's just, and I'm glad. I'm really glad that production, and the editors are painting it this way and not trying to give it like a Julia edit
Starting point is 00:47:58 because it's just watching Gertie navigate through it makes so much more sense it's so true to who she is and then watching Julia is like such a weird flip-flop so I'm glad that they're not trying to spin it some different way so we can just see what's actually going on and again yeah the more we get the more confused I get it's just bizarre. I really don't know how to make heads or tales of it, but I guarantee you every negative thought that I have about this is heading towards Julia. There are no negative comments or any thoughts in my brain when I think of this situation that go towards Gertie. I think we've watched her be just as confused as us and now she's turned a new leaf because of the way that Julia's
Starting point is 00:48:41 reacted. So pretty much through and through, there's just no other way to look at it. You have to be Team Garty. Especially if there are, if there are Team Julia people out there and you're listening to this, Send us a message and try to explain it because I do not get it. Yeah, and especially the setup of what happened on the cruise ship. Because it was like the dinner that they had, she was sitting next to Captain Sandy, but then Martina wasn't coming, so she gave the seat away. But Gertie knows Captain Sandy. Like, could you not have figured that out?
Starting point is 00:49:16 Or could Gertie not at least walk up to the table and talk to Captain Sandy? And her be like, oh, shit. Like, sorry. And in that moment, Julia, you invited her, go sit with her. Why are you sitting in like that seat? You should be with Gertie because you brought her on this trip. Because, and I'm going to say this delicately because I'm still working on this. I think that Julia is just a social climber.
Starting point is 00:49:41 I think that's all she is. She sees new people. They're like new shining objects that have better things, better lives, better whatever, relationships with their friends, whatever it might be. or they're just bigger on Bravo and she goes and flocks to them she moves away that she's always loved who have always supported her like Julia or like Gertie like Adriana and she moves on to the next big bad thing and she's like oh I got to go up and do that Captain Sandy is a mainstay on Bravo everybody knows who Captain Sandy is
Starting point is 00:50:09 she's going to just go over and talk to Captain Sandy and just ignore Gertie it just doesn't make any sense but like that's the only thing I can think of and again this is what happens when Julia is not explaining shit. If you're not going to explain why you're doing the things that you're doing, my brain is just going to start going to the worst possible thing. And I'm going to start calling you a social climber. So that's where we are. But I don't think it's speculation.
Starting point is 00:50:30 I don't think it's because we're not getting enough. I think you just nailed it like right on the head because the minute that Stephanie comes into the group, this Uber wealthy, powerful business woman. Talking about her Birkins and her Versacee dress and her private jet. Like you immediately are enamored. with her. Yeah. Like that,
Starting point is 00:50:50 I think you just nailed it. That's exactly it. And so nice job, sir. She wants to keep this like whole like I, you know, I live on a farm. I've got this going on or whatever. Like you're married to Martina Navratilova. Like, come on. Let's stop right there.
Starting point is 00:51:03 You're not this like basic small town farm hands that's doing this and only cares about your animals. You care about this other shit. Stop acting like you don't. So I think that's pretty much what it is. You live in a waterfront property with like a hobby farm. Like it's not like you're farming for. you've got a very small chicken coop in like four dogs like yeah come on no her farm's a farm
Starting point is 00:51:23 oh the farm is a farm yeah no i just i i i agree let's get to lisa and larses lunch which i was very much looking forward to and they sit down and it went just about how i thought it would this is exactly how i thought it was going to go the whole from from a to b i thought this was exactly how it was going to go 100 i thought it would be a blow up crying just fuck it let's make up at the end. And that's exactly what it was. Like the second they sit down, they start talking about Milan and, you know, Lars is like, I left really hurt. But then we finally get what actually happened. And that that makes me feel so much better because I guess Jody brought up Marcus and then Larsa lost her shit. And it all makes sense now. It all makes sense because what happened is Jody
Starting point is 00:52:12 probably mentioned Marcus. Larsa got activated instantly. It started. it going at him. His response was, I heard you set up that picture of him doing Coke, or AC. And she lost her mind and started yelling at him. The best part about this, I'll do you one better. I think this is, this is probably what happens, because we heard that they were kind of making up, Lisa and Larson, Milan, to the point after Fabo comes over and, you know, does his spiel on, you know, just, you know, choose your friend. You can't, you can't, you can't control your boyfriend. you can't do this, you can't do that. They both heard different things.
Starting point is 00:52:51 It got to the point where they started to make a breakthrough, like, all right, we can move forward, we can still be friends. Jody comes over, sees that they're making up, decides he wants to also make up and brings up the whole dinner thing with Marcus. And as soon as he mentions Marcus's name, Larsa turns, flips, starts yelling at him, then he freaks out and brings up the coat picture. That's what I think. I think Jody's like, cool, I want to make up too, guys.
Starting point is 00:53:14 Can I get it? That tracks. Yeah. that 100% tracks and by him calling out that that was a set up picture by Larsa Larsa's like that's bullshit and Lisa's like very calmly by the way almost in passing it was like I mean the guy like the paparazzi told us that it was like cutting her food and Larson's like you're full of shit I was like Jesus so Larsa got caught Larsa got caught and she like lashes out because she got caught and Lisa's like wait whoa like why are you saying
Starting point is 00:53:45 that I'm full of shit it's like that's not what happened your boyfriend lies it's like do you see the escalation that we just went from here yeah like she's calling out something that happened in regards to the event in milan and the aftermath and why it all went down you snap say she's full of shit and then call her boyfriend a liar but this is this is what happens i feel like and again it's it's different to call it a breakthrough with these two but it seemed like they were getting to a better place and i feel like from lisa's perspective it's almost like all right cool like we we are getting somewhere we're getting a little bit better let's talk as best friends i feel like because we've seen this
Starting point is 00:54:21 type of situation before where you'll say something to larissa that she has denied forever and you'll bring it up when you're in a good place and she'll be like oh i know and she'll laugh it off or she'll make a joke about something or she'll blame somebody else and then all of a sudden it's like okay we really are in a good place you weren't quite there lisa so you should have made me help on to that a little bit longer instead it's like hey she's teetering she's going towards you guys are in a good place. Yeah, I mean, the paparazzi told me that. Fuck you. You're full of shit. I misjudged that.
Starting point is 00:54:51 Well, but she always goes back to this. It's like, I'm just a better friend than you. Like, she always goes back to being a good friend. I haven't seen that really. I mean, there's moments and we've given her credit. We've given her credit. The montage was great. It's like, you're not a good friend. Yeah, like, Larsa or Lisa was like,
Starting point is 00:55:07 does this whole group forget what Larsa's done to them? And a montage of her doing something to every single person. person and they left out Kiki with the Wopper thing on the boat. I was like, that was like my favorite moment from this franchise and they left the whopper out. But she's like you're running low on friends. Everyone's against you in the group. Like everyone hates you.
Starting point is 00:55:27 I'm like this, Larsa, this is why people don't like you. Do you see where we've gotten to in such a short amount of time? Now you're saying that the entire group is anti Lisa. So she goes to the bathroom. As I said, there cannot be an event without Lisa going to the bathroom and crying. She's calling Alexia. crying about what was said and the fucking cut
Starting point is 00:55:48 to the stall and the feet under the stall was incredible. That old bathroom scene was so funny between that and then footsteps approaching. I love the subtitles because I wouldn't have heard the footsteps approaching. Oh, I'm sorry. I'm sorry, cool.
Starting point is 00:56:04 I do need to get out of the bathroom because there's another woman here. I'm going to keep talking though. Let's keep going. Hey, excuse me. In the restaurant. You're a little too loud. I'm going to have to ask you to just go out. oh i'm so sorry i'm so sorry i'm so sorry at least lisa's like not an asshole to everybody like uh i'm crying here can you get out of the bathroom or i'll just be another minute like no she does apologize
Starting point is 00:56:23 to the people that tell her like hey you know keep it down a little bit she moves on it's just it's so funny god it's also great for television the cut over to larsa like shocking like she's watching that tick talk whatever the fuck she's watching that's stupid shit but yeah the just the juxtaposition of Lisa going ham on the phone and sobbing and Larsa's checking her face in her phone camera. She's like scrolling and
Starting point is 00:56:54 watching like makeup tutorials and shit too. It was so fucking funny dude. It was just like a great great side by side scene but Lisa after getting kicked out of the restaurant comes back to her table and Alexia gets a great cutaway or she's like can they just fucking
Starting point is 00:57:10 figure this out like I'm so over this nonsense and then they sit down And Larsa's still gaslighty as shit. And she's like, I want you to be a better friend. I want you to be a better friend. It's like, then you'll be a better friend too, Larsa, but you're not wrong. Lisa also needs to be a better friend. You both just kind of suck when it comes to being good people.
Starting point is 00:57:26 And that's kind of why we love you on TV. Yeah. But there's like a half-ass apology that pretty much to me sounded like this. She goes, sorry I called you a bitch at your house. Sorry your dad died. It's just pretty much what it was. I shouldn't have come to Jody's birthday and bitched him out. I shouldn't have called you a bitch at his birthday.
Starting point is 00:57:46 Yeah. Whatever. All right. I'm sorry. God, your dad died. I'm so sorry that your dad died. I didn't kill him. Like, what you want from me?
Starting point is 00:57:53 Exactly. That's what it felt like. And Lisa, you know, she's, her response is like, you never tell me your problems. I don't know. Blah, blah, blah. It just seems like as we knew inevitably, they would end up this need to get back to neutral. To get back to neutral. And I'm thrilled.
Starting point is 00:58:09 And that's something that we've always given. Well, we've always given this franchise credit. for moving on like they're very good at just squashing shit and being like all right that's good enough let's let's keep trucking and then inevitably they'll fall out again but it's it's very as a viewer and as an audience that's what really drives a show forward is we have new things to talk about we're not stuck on the same topic week after week after week so great episode just phenomenal TV. I was laughing the whole time. So, bravo
Starting point is 00:58:42 Rom. Bravo. Let's get to some questions. We only have two. Guys. Morning record. Yeah. Only 87 people have seen the fucking story. Yeah, you can't morning questions are tough. Morning
Starting point is 00:59:02 questions. I guess, you know, West Coast people should have asked them last last night. Yeah. If I was proactive, I would have remembered that, but whatever. We can ask these two questions. That's fine. Yeah. First up here from Petra Van, did any mirror text resonate to either of you? Are you calling us narcissists?
Starting point is 00:59:24 Yeah, what are you trying to say, Petra? What does that mean? Did any mirror text resonate with you, Petra? Yeah. Why are you coming at us like that? No. The answer is, no, I didn't read any of them. I'm right there with you.
Starting point is 00:59:37 I didn't read them. I'm sorry, so I don't know. I'm sure, like, whatever, yeah, I think everybody would resonate with some of the things written, but I'm not entirely sure what was written. Maxie V-374. Were you ever told that you're being too loud in a public setting? No, most people in my life have never even heard me yell. So, yeah, no.
Starting point is 00:59:59 I mean, probably. You, yeah, but it's because you're, like, you're joyous and drunk, can you get loud yeah like by an employee probably not um yeah i mean i all right so i'll do this the closest thing that i can even think of is an eagles game uh our seats are like right by the end on the row and i used to um which you're not allowed to do i used to uh run out into the middle of the aisle and jump up on the railing and then i was told by the usher like hey no there you go so there you have one it's the closest thing yeah all right Well, piece of shit, don't do that again.
Starting point is 01:00:42 But, yeah, we'll see where this season heads. But as of now, this top-notch television, they're doing a great job. Fantastic. Yep, but that's all I got.
