Starting point is 00:00:00 Well, it's that time of the week again where we get to talk about our favorite show, the best show on TV right now, The Valley, featuring my new favorite dig, Peter Pocket, that little bitch. Peter Pocket Pecker, I think, was the full one. Yeah, look, we finally got some Danny retribution. So in my book, this is a better episode, even though everything else is still incredibly dark and weird. and that's the forefront of this entire show. So we can't really focus on anything else.
Starting point is 00:00:32 But other than that, I mean, we're in Mexico. So at least the sun's shining, right? Yeah, it's not raining? We'll take it. I don't know. I can't wait to see the Danny defenders after this one. If you're still defending this guy, you need to look in the mirror. I just saw some defenders on Twitter talking, mostly just pointing the finger at Lala for saying,
Starting point is 00:00:50 you can't say anything about Danny. You were with Randall as if that really has anything to do with anything. That would, are you shitting me? that would be even more reason for her to speak on it. People are so You would think. Yeah, yeah, I don't know. People think that Danny and the just good people, no problems
Starting point is 00:01:07 there. Well, those people are stupid. As there's a drive in a deep left field by Castellanos, it will be a little bit. Oh man, it's 8 o'clock. And so that'll make it a... I don't need the spotlight. I shine just fine. Hi, I'm karma. And yes,
Starting point is 00:01:27 I am a bitch. Bros. Good evening, everybody. Welcome back to another episode of Brov Bros. Your favorite podcast from the Bros. For everybody, for whoever wants to listen, I am your co-host, Steele Russell, joined as always by the one and only
Starting point is 00:01:42 Guder Vallerta. What's up, dude? I think it's the last time that we can do this for Guter Viata. But big problem for me. Really, really big problem for me. Every episode, I do the same thing at the end.
Starting point is 00:01:58 I really listen. Still no season finale. Still no on the finale of the valley. It was 54, too. I was like, oh, 54 minute episode. We're done. How many fucking episodes does this season have?
Starting point is 00:02:09 Will it end? We're going into episode 18 next week. 18 weeks we've been talking about this stupid show. It's still rolling. There's still a lot of people watching our show, which makes us have to watch it. I hate it. I can't stand the show.
Starting point is 00:02:24 We don't hate you guys. We love you. And, you know, we appreciate the views and the, listens, even if it is to force us to hate watch something. But yeah, I don't know, dude, this episode really painted a picture I thought of the dark Danny that people talk about. Like you got to see in real time some of the things that people are referencing. I think it's also important to note, as Jasmine points out, it's not just uncomfortable because he touches
Starting point is 00:02:51 people. It's uncomfortable with how he addresses, approaches, approaches, talks to women. It's fucking gross. He does it to his own wife and people defend it online by saying, well, that's just their merit. No, dude, they don't talk to people like that. He's the birthday boy. That there's, dude, that pissed me off so much. He's 45. Like, no, you don't get to do that shit. Like, where you're like, it's his birthday. Birthdays are no longer important after you're 21. Yeah. Then they are inconsequential. And if you're celebrating a 45, four birthdays even stupider what does that mean i i don't know i have no answer for you i'm not even like disparaging people who celebrate their birthdays go ahead and do it but for a guy who has a
Starting point is 00:03:41 terrible track record who most people hate who's really fucking annoying this obviously tracks with his behavior he must have said it 50 times he must have referenced his birthday 50 times and then nia started referencing his birthday like oh i just wanted to be like a good birthday for him you're filming his birthday on a show where people are calling him a sexual predator. You think it was going to go well? You thought this was going to be a fun birthday? You guys are idiots. Well, yeah, I mean, that goes about saying.
Starting point is 00:04:08 But yeah, that drove me up a wall. I think I wrote it down every single time that he referenced his birthday. And then he had the end, I should have actually added him up. But like at the end when he is doing it's like, it's not your like wedding day. If you're acting like this is a national holiday that people are. disregarding. Like it was just kind of crazy. And I think this is a,
Starting point is 00:04:31 this is just like a great episode for including Nia and also all of the slander. Yeah. I mean, you can tell it is so clear cut and dry what she's trying to do, what she's trying to disable. I don't want to say enable, but she's trying to disable from all of the things that are going on. It's so obvious.
Starting point is 00:04:48 It is unbearably obvious when you're doing certain things that we've been kind of hinting at the whole time. Now you're just doing it there. Not only that, but Danny's also drawing. and making people uncomfortable uncomfortable whatever uncomfortable uncomfortable you just can't do it i i can't do it and then you got to throw christin and luke into the mix and that luke's an asshole like luke what the fuck this show man this this show it's just i don't get it i don't understand
Starting point is 00:05:16 people who i don't understand anyone if you watch it and you get enjoyment out of people just being assholes i kind of get that but to then go online and defend it the people on the show that you've never met is bizarre behavior when they're acting like this. It's very strange, very strange to me. But without further ado, why don't we rip off this old bandaid and jump on in? And we're waking up after Zach's big gay birthday bash. And he wakes up bleeding. He's a trooper.
Starting point is 00:05:45 He gets the MVP award from that night. Took a street side to the head at 20 miles an hour. Still went out and partied. Good for you, dude. Love to see the hustle. But we get the first one. Number one, Danny and Nia, it's my birthday. It's about me today.
Starting point is 00:06:02 Every fucking day, every episode has been about you. What makes this day any different? The fact that, like, to me, what it, what it's referencing is I'm allowed to be a piece of shit today because it's my birthday and nobody can say anything about it. That's the matter. Yeah. Yeah, that's pretty much what he was getting that. And he also immediately asks his wife when they're going to have sex.
Starting point is 00:06:27 they sex. Oh, God. I just, this is where I start to think like. It's the only time he's nice to his wife, guys. The only time he's nice to his wife is making sexual jokes or referencing them having sex later. Yeah. Yeah, that's very true.
Starting point is 00:06:41 But also, I just don't get the camera aspect of it. Like, you guys are very hyper aware that there's cameras on you. We know you are because you did something when you were down in San Diego that indicated that you're very hyper aware about the cameras and you're trying to present yourself some way or another. How do you think this plays if you're, if you're Danny, if you're Nia. Like, oh, oh, Danny, like, we'll talk about it later.
Starting point is 00:07:01 It's going to be okay. And then later in the episode, when you deny him of that or try to, rather, he gets all but heard about it. You guys are hyper aware of the cameras everywhere. You want to come off as this great couple. Why are you even talking about this on camera? Like, just leave it off. It's so bizarre to me.
Starting point is 00:07:16 Yeah, dude, when we get to the bar at the end and Nia, like, physically sticking her face in front of his face, like, Daniel, don't talk to them. Daniel, ignore them. I'm like, go away. Make him answer for himself. Lala's 100% correct. You're terrified at what he's going to say.
Starting point is 00:07:33 That's all it is. It's not playing very well. He has a history. He has an actual history that we have laid out. And now you're trying to get him to not do the things that he's been accused of doing. Not to say that he's going to go over and sexually assault somebody in that moment. But he's going to go over and yell in a woman's face, which is something else that we've talked about. You don't want him to do that.
Starting point is 00:07:53 You're protecting him from doing that. But you're still going to deny it. It's so bizarre. These fucking people, man, they're so weird. Very strange. Super duper strange. But you get Janet Michelle and Lala. Janet decides that she's not going to go on the boat, which is probably for the best.
Starting point is 00:08:08 Yeah. There's no reason to. Yeah, definitely. And Lala is going to stick by and give her some support. Doesn't want to leave her by herself. And Brittany had a rough night after the surgery and everything. She's a little tender. So she's going to lay in bed and recover for the whole day.
Starting point is 00:08:24 And then we get to Catamaran, Dan. band's birthday, which is Miami Vice theme because of course it fucking is. I don't know. I don't Miami Vice doesn't have to take a stray there, but it just, of course, this guy loves Miami Vice. He probably has a picture of fucking Tom Selleck in his room. Was he even in Miami Vice? That's Magna.
Starting point is 00:08:43 I thought he was. I'm not, I'm thinking a Magnum P. Different guy. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. He probably was thinking Magnum, actually, to be fair. Because it doesn't really make any sense to do a Miami Bay in Mexico.
Starting point is 00:08:54 And it doesn't really make a ton of sense. Magnum was in. Hawaii that's a little closer. But either way, one good thing did come from this, a theme party. It's Benji. Once again, he just shows up these three parties. Yep, six more words. I thought it's 13. I saw 13. Six in one scene, maybe at another scene. I probably six for the one scene. I believe it was 13 for the whole episode. He is just a pleasure, just an absolute pleasure. I love a guy who's just going to show up and do something for a theme party regardless of what's going on. And he looks great. A little fake mustache always gets me going. Hell yeah, Benji. Love to see it.
Starting point is 00:09:24 but Zach and Jasmine are talking on the boat. And they are going over what was heard yesterday. Jasmine's filling in, Zach saying, okay, so apparently yesterday at the bar when Janet texted, Doty was saying that you and I and Brittany need to stop drinking that were hot messes or whatever. And it's again,
Starting point is 00:09:43 this blind support that we see from Doty about Danny and Nia for some strange reason. I do think a lot of it has to do with the proximity of babies. and the timing of everything. I think Doty is probably more connected with Nia, which I understand. Like I'm not faulting her for that at all. Like you both were pregnant at the same time. It's your first baby.
Starting point is 00:10:04 This is Nia's fourth. You definitely leaned on her for advice and comfort during that thing. Totally makes sense to me. Totally understandable. But I do think that it's causing these blinders to kind of come in because there is this crazy defense. And they keep trying to do this double standard thing. And even Zach, who has not done,
Starting point is 00:10:24 a great job at holding Danny accountable at all. Even he's sitting there going, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa. It's not a double standard. It's different. Why? I would have loved to have seen him say like it's different because, but at least he acknowledged like, okay, whoa, don't call me drunk Danny because I don't do that shit. That's what he's saying.
Starting point is 00:10:47 Yeah, and I think that would be super helpful. I mean, he did it and Jasmine did it at the end of the episode. Same thing. Don't let me in with Danny when you're talking about these things. they're not even really combating the drinking thing. I mean, yes, they're saying, you know, I feel like that's a weird comment. And as much as Kristen defending Danny even still, I don't know if she is still doing it, we keep saying that, but she was up until a certain point.
Starting point is 00:11:09 So as much as she's been doing that and I dislike what she's doing, I still kind of want to give her a little bit of a pass for just the terminology that she used. And I do think, yes, of course, Janet heard something and ran to them and told them, which she should do. That's all the shows work. but I think that when she's talking about it, it's probably more in line with what we've been saying and what Brittany's
Starting point is 00:11:28 been saying. I don't really understand like we all drink. We all do stupid things. But we're not at least now because of what Janet did by telling everybody, we're forcing the secondary conversation, which is yeah, I mean, we drink and do stupid shit. Look at Zach last night just completely
Starting point is 00:11:44 taking a header into a traffic light. That was all done by a bird. That wasn't necessarily his fault. But it probably wouldn't happen if he wasn't drinking too much. and shit happens. Who cares? But that's the type of things that we're talking about
Starting point is 00:11:55 when you say, oh, yeah, we all get drunk and do stupid things. Not what Danny does. So now by putting them in the same box, sorry, we just finished O-C,
Starting point is 00:12:04 so we're talking about boxes. Now that we are putting them all on the same box, you can tell Jasmine and Dan, or Jasmine and Zach, do not want to be in Danny's box. Like, whoa, we don't do what Danny is.
Starting point is 00:12:15 Then tell us what Danny does because up until now, obviously, Jasmine has our own issues. But Zach's just been kind of happy to move on from it all. Like, yeah, we caught you drinking. Just tell me, okay, yeah, dude, it's okay.
Starting point is 00:12:26 If you drink, it's fine. Can we move on from the conversation? Now we know what your real feelings are. Correct. But while this is going on in the boat, we get a very difficult scene with Janet and Lala. And Janet had referenced something last week when she was at the bar saying that, oh, there's a thing that there's a reason why the Danny thing has triggered me so much.
Starting point is 00:12:48 And she sits with Lala and opens up about, the entire thing. And apparently when she was in school, a guy sexually assaulted her. And it's something that she's been working through since that day that she didn't fully understand. It wasn't up until she was an adult and she was talking to her therapist. That her therapist was like, you were sexually assaulted. And she's coming to terms with this. And the damage that it caused, the mental damage and all of these feelings that she's trying to navigate. And then you have Danny perpetuating it.
Starting point is 00:13:20 So yes, it makes complete sense to me that it went the way it did when Janet called him out. And now that we're watching the aftermath, and again, when Janet went through that, she was labeled a whore. She was labeled a slut. Meanwhile, the guy, oh, yeah, he's cool. Way to go, dude. This is the fucking problem. And this is why when you assholes out there are defending Danny and incapable of calling him out on this shit, this is what happens. Because when people don't believe women and these things are perpetuated over and over again,
Starting point is 00:13:56 you have women questioning themselves for something that is not their fault. You have Janet doing circles in her head about that day back in school, wondering what she did wrong. And then she has to watch people defend Danny blindly without pressing. At the very least, she wants to see her friends be like, hey, whoa, dude, and press him on the issue. But because you have people out there that are in our comments going, grabbing her ass isn't even that big of a deal. A woman said that in our comments.
Starting point is 00:14:26 I don't care if you don't think grabbing her ass was a big deal. That's not for you to say. That's the person that's affected. And because we are allowing this to happen on this show, because Danny's not being held to a much higher standard, this is the kind of ramifications, the real world ramifications that people watching are feeling, that Janet's feeling in real time.
Starting point is 00:14:48 And I think it's fucking gross. And I think that people defending. it, I think you're fucking gross. Because this was fucking sad. And unfortunately, the way this show has gone, I already know where that's going to go. We're going to go heavily on victim blaming, which is
Starting point is 00:15:02 brutal. I don't even want to talk about it until we eventually get there, which is inevitable with a show like this. But yeah, I mean, obviously all of it's very plausible. Now, obviously, Janet has made missteps along the way. I think she's said that she's made missteps. I think it's actually a lot different when she's apologizing
Starting point is 00:15:18 for certain things that she's done, but she will not apologize for that. I think that's very in line with what she's telling Lala now. And a lot of people are going to say, like, why now? Why now? Like, who gives a shit? You can't really, unfortunately, you just can't ask those questions. She just spilled the beans. She told everybody about
Starting point is 00:15:34 what's going on and what she's thinking about and that triggering is actually the appropriate word here as much as we hate that word. So you can't really do anything more with that. I mean, that is what we can't. No one else should. This cast will. That's the big problem. And we're going to get there at some point in the next
Starting point is 00:15:50 couple of episodes and it's going to be fucking brutal to watch that and it's like i understand janin has a track record but it doesn't mean that you can do that but they're going to take the opportunity to do it yeah and i am going to go fucking scorched earth if that does actually happen but again like just to finish off this conversation it's like when these things are made light when they're not taken as seriously as they should be the other thing that occurs is dudes like Danny, dudes like that guy that sexually assaulted her back in school, they don't change their behaviors. They don't change, period.
Starting point is 00:16:31 They actually think they're emboldened because one, they got away with it. And two, people are telling them they're cool. So they're going to go out and do the same fucking shit. Well, no, I don't know if anybody's called Danny cool. Let's be very honest about it. That's a good point. That's a good point. But no, I mean, it allows this kind of behavior to continue.
Starting point is 00:16:49 and because of how it's handled, it keeps women from coming forward in the future. And that's fucked. So this whole thing is so gross. And we've been talking about all fucking season, but I will give a lot of credit to Janet for opening up about that on TV. That takes a lot of strength. She just recently told Jason,
Starting point is 00:17:09 I think, like when they got married, which was within the past five years or so. So a lot of credit to her. That takes a lot of strength. But she had to put up a, she put up an Instagram. story kind of explaining a little bit more, which tells me that I'm sure
Starting point is 00:17:23 people were reaching out and not in a good way. So, yeah, that's already starting. That's always very fun to discuss. Fuck. So, anyway, let's keep moving. We get to Lacey and Michelle. Michelle stellar season. I miss this
Starting point is 00:17:39 pilot's good. Great season from Michelle. Love that she's coming to her own. All she had to do is get away from Jesse, apparently. But she takes upon herself to sit down with Lacey. I really like this. I like Lacey, too. I think she's got a pretty cool head about her.
Starting point is 00:17:54 So this was a very interesting conversation. This is a conversation you would never get in the real world or 99% of the time because you're not forced to be around your ex and his new girlfriend. But for her to open up and say, hey, and I think that this was also like, well, Jesse's not doing anything about this. Like maybe Lacey will be my friend. And she's like, you know, it's tough for me. And she acknowledges like, it's my thing.
Starting point is 00:18:17 and I'm working through my own shit. But seeing him be affectionate with you and do all these things that I was begging him to do while we were married, it kind of sucks to watch. Lacey, totally get where you're coming from. That must be hard. We'll tone it down. That's all that needed to happen with Jesse. But Jesse's so stuck on tit for tat, but he gets checked by Lacey in about five minutes,
Starting point is 00:18:40 which was funny. Yeah. And look, that's how it should go. Like we said before, it's such a weird situation about the two of them being around each other as much as they are, then throw Lacey into the mix. And yeah, we want to talk about weirdo Aaron and what Michelle was doing. Fine. But like at the end of the day, this conversation, I feel like it was very cool because the two
Starting point is 00:18:59 of them are the ones who actually have to endure. The two of them are the ones who actually want to have some sort of relationship. If Jesse and Lacey are going to stay together, then they have to have a relationship for Isabella moving forward. That's the important thing. I'm not even really upset about Jesse still being caught up in the tip for tat. I'm not upset about last year Michelle being caught up in the tip for tat. take for that. That's going to happen. You're forcing people who are divorced to be together all the
Starting point is 00:19:21 time when things haven't actually healed because we haven't taken enough time to let the wounds actually heal. So yeah, I don't really blame either of them for doing any of those things. But if Lacey's going to be the one where cooler heads can prevail and you've got Michelle talking through the situation, clearly she's already prevailed. That's really the most thing that we can get right now. Yeah, exactly. But we get to Mahahuita speech and Jesse tried to make a funny and nobody laughed because they're like, no, where's your money?
Starting point is 00:19:52 Because he's like, I own this island. That's where all the money went. Well, you just acknowledge that you're poor. Yeah. And where's your money, bro?
Starting point is 00:20:00 Like what happened to it? Where's that $300,000 loan you took out three years ago? Yeah. Kind of funny. And following it up with the, do I look like Daniel Craig coming out? No. No.
Starting point is 00:20:13 No. God, no. And then Danny trying to do the trot out too. I'm happy to be a lot of it. He was being dead serious. Yeah. Mm-hmm. Now, we get to lunch on the beach and, uh, you know, now that Nia's pissing me off, hearing her go, Pollo, I'm, I'm trying to speak Spanish. You're that person on the trip. You're that person on the trip that knows five words in the language of the country that you're in. And you've forced them out every time you can. Boo, boo, boo you. You'll never be to read.
Starting point is 00:20:41 You'll never be to read. No. And to read it's cringy. But in like, uh, I, I want her to keep doing it way. Yeah. Yeah. There's a scale here. It's like Luann is somewhere in there, Dorit's somewhere in there, then Nia's not on the scale. I don't want her anywhere near anything.
Starting point is 00:20:57 No, no. But Jesse and Lacey are talking and Lacey's filling him in on that conversation. Again, you know, could we be a little less in front of Michelle? Well, maybe she should toughen the fuck up. If you talk like that again, look at me. If you talk like that again, I'm going to get on that little boat and I'm going to leave you here, you piece of shit. you shut the fuck up.
Starting point is 00:21:18 I love. Are we getting to the point where Jesse's going to start checking in with Lacey before he does things? Because I feel like this, this last one before he talks to Kristen was the last ditch effort of Jesse just kind of being his own man and doing what he wants and doing what he thinks is right because she checks him after that. And it's like, oh, okay. All right. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:21:36 Maybe I should just stop doing things. So I think between these two, maybe he'll actually check him with, which will make him a better person at the end of the day. Because I think by the end of this episode, he's actually a better person. I agree. He needs these checks along the way to get him there. Like he's moldable still at a very weird way, even though he's like 45 years old.
Starting point is 00:21:53 When he was talking to Janet at the end, and he's like, hearing it from your perspective, that changes things. I'm like, who are you? Like Lacey's changing in your ear? Is there an earpiece?
Starting point is 00:22:05 I don't know, dude, but it was a very funny scene to watch as far as him like, trying to be tough. And Lacey's like, oh, no. You stop that. You stop that right now. And he does. It's very funny.
Starting point is 00:22:16 She's got him on a tight leash, and I love to see it. But anyway, Jesse, I don't know. I have a feeling that something with the Lacey and Michelle conversation pissed him off. And this was his way of getting back. I don't think it was malicious. I really don't. I think he's an idiot. I really do.
Starting point is 00:22:38 I think he's a true-blooded idiot. Association then. Like, and this is not a way. No. No. Like, no, he shouldn't have done it, period. Like, Doty is going through postpartum. She's struggling on this trip.
Starting point is 00:22:53 Her and Luke are like at each other's throats. They're just trying to make it to the end of this thing. You don't need to go over there and talk to her and be like, hey, I know you feel crazy. I know you're going through a lot and you can't control it. Well, it's affecting your potential marriage because Luke doesn't want to marry you anymore. way to confirm all of her fears. Everything worried about in two sentences, Jesse's like,
Starting point is 00:23:18 you should be worried. You're right. He's going to leave you. But this is why, and we have a really good example of somebody who starts shit and starts chaos with Gavin on in the city. He's not that level. Like this was very much to me anyway,
Starting point is 00:23:31 because in a weird way, him and Kristen have become friends. And we've watched that over the last couple of years. He's absolutely the type of friend that's like, you know what? Like, let me try to smooth things over. because things still seem a little weird. And I want to make sure everything's okay.
Starting point is 00:23:44 And when he starts the conversation, he starts the conversation, fine. He's like, look, I just want to check in with you guys. I know the other night was a bit of a blow up. Like, have you guys talked about it, like figured some things out? Or are you guys just kind of stalemate until you get home and then you're going to have it out? And Kristen responds, she's like, look, when we go through things like this, Luke is texting me and he kind of gets it all out of his system. Then we go to sleep.
Starting point is 00:24:06 We wake up. We talk about it. And things seem to be a little bit better. And from his perspective, he's doing that thing. that every guy who's a friend of a couple thinks that they should do. And it's, I got to have both of your backs. I got to make sure that you know what's going on. And I got to make sure that I have Luke's back.
Starting point is 00:24:22 And I want to be that person because I don't know if you guys are really communicating. And this just shows you where he is because when he starts talking and he's like, look, I mean, I'm just telling you right now when Michelle and I were having our problems, she wouldn't listen to me. I was telling her all these things that I was feeling. I started scheduling lunch dates with the bros on Friday afternoon. He took us to that restaurant, season one. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:24:44 He's like, I started scheduling these lunch dates so I can have it out. I could just really tell them how I feel because I couldn't get through to Michelle. And I'm not saying, but like, you know, I'm seeing some similarities here. And then he goes to his confessional. He's like, I'm not saying that Luke and Kristen are the same as me and Michelle by any means. Obviously, they have a way healthy relationship. I'm like, I was like, dude, you have to say that now. You have to say, I'm not comparing you.
Starting point is 00:25:07 I'm just saying from my experience. That's what I've seen. And I see when Luke is kind of spiraling a little bit and he's talking to us about the things that you're apparently not hearing. He's talking to us and clearly he's unhappy and clearly he's frustrated about things going on. So I want to make sure that you guys are communicating and he's not just leaving it out there because it could get worse. I think that's an okay way to have the guy.
Starting point is 00:25:27 Still, again, inserting yourself into the chaos makes no sense to me, but that's the kind of guy Jesse is. But that's where it ends. That's where you have to end it. You don't say anything that Luke says specifically or, explicitly. You don't mention any of it verbatim. You just leave it there. Use all generalizations. I saw him spiraling. He was saying some weird. Maybe he'll even say he's saying weird shit. Just say he was just popping off a little bit. He was frustrated. Did you guys figure it out? Are you guys okay? I just want to
Starting point is 00:25:55 check it and make sure you guys are good. Good. Okay, cool. Let's move on. Instead, he drops the goddamn bomb. Like dropping the bomb on Kristen pulling her aside on the beach and being like, hey, Luke just told me that he doesn't know if a wedding's going to happen. How do you feel about that? Here's the microphone. Can you tell me how you feel about that? Yeah, you go now. Why are you crying?
Starting point is 00:26:13 My job. It's not that big of the deal. I care about both of you. I know. I think what happened, honestly, I do think it's Lacey-centric. I think that, but not in a malicious way now that we've talked through it. I think she was able to smooth things over by having a conversation. And he's like, I can do that too.
Starting point is 00:26:36 watch this and fucked everything up. Oh boy, Jesse. What a fucking mess. Yeah. And obviously like Kristen's just like you said, it makes her realize all of her fears. She thinks that things are going well. Obviously everything's temporary.
Starting point is 00:26:53 Let's just leave it there. And he goes, we'll tell him that. Make sure he knows when he goes off to the garage and he fucks off. He needs to get away from everything because he's not being heard. Just tell him it's temporary. That'll help things. I think what are you doing, Jesse?
Starting point is 00:27:05 I again, I really do think at his core, he's trying to help. He's just helping way, helping way too much. And getting back to the boat and talking to Lacey and Lacey's like, why the fuck would you ever do that? That was the stupidest shit you could ever do. He's like, oh, you think so? Yes, I think that's ridiculous that you just did that. Never do that again. Oh, okay.
Starting point is 00:27:25 All right. Give me your goddamn beer. That was funny, dude. The beer thing with him, when he came back with like a loaded up like 40 ounce Pacific. He had a 40th Pacific. I was like, dude, that sounds awesome. It's going to get hot quick if you don't drink it fast, but that sounds incredible out of the sea in Mexico.
Starting point is 00:27:40 Give me that beer. You're cut off. We're done with this. Now, that 40 outs in Pacifica looked mighty good. Let me tell you. Oh, yeah. Oh, boy. I just want to smell it.
Starting point is 00:27:52 You know, don't need to drink. Just let me smell it. From the parents behind Law & Order comes a mystery the whole family can enjoy. Starting point is 00:29:34 See what everybody's talking about and join us in the dark. Hi, I'm Whitney. And I'm Katie. And we're the hosts of True Crime Campfire. We set out to make a true crime podcast we'd want to listen to. We get right to the story. We don't do a lot of extra talk in, and when we do, it's usually to roast the short hairs off of some loser, murderer, or scammer.
Starting point is 00:29:57 You'll laugh, but only at the people who deserve it. Like, which serial killer would you most like to shove into a locker? BTK and his awful poetry. Dude got caught because he didn't understand what a floppy disk was. We look for the stranger than fiction stories, like the case of Patty James, a killer catfish before the internet was even a thing. Or Howard Walmsley, a sentient wad of damp laundry who convinced his town he'd won the lottery, fleeced local businesses out of thousands, and then became a romance scammer. We've covered tons of cases you've never heard of, cults, scammers, killers.
Starting point is 00:30:31 So come find your next great binge. Listen to True Crime Campfire on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, or wherever you get your podcasts. New episodes every Friday. Life moves too fast, scrolling, swiping, headlines, sound bites. Nobody's really seen. Even the people everyone thinks they know. I'm Evelyn. I'm a television producer and director. I've spent decades behind the camera.
Starting point is 00:30:56 On the podcast, Repen, I have real conversations with actors, creators, and change makers. We're going beyond the headlines. And we're going to hear about the risks they took and the lessons that shape their lives. Reppin is about being human. First, listen to Repin wherever you get your podcasts. Reality TV is messy. Pop culture is louder than ever. And the internet.
Starting point is 00:31:20 Completely unhinged. Welcome to Roxanne and Chantelle. The podcast where cousins Roxanne and Chantel break down reality TV, celebrity drama, and the stories everyone's texting about. We recap the shows, spill the headlines, and sit down with the stars themselves. No filter. No boring takes. Just the tea.
Starting point is 00:31:39 New episodes every week. If it's trending, we're talking about it. This is Roxanne and Chantelle. Let's get into it. Ever look at someone at the top and wonder, do they even remember where they started? What did it take to get there? I do on every episode. I'm Evelyn and on my podcast, Repen.
Starting point is 00:32:02 The people the world thinks it knows gets to say who they actually are. The grit, the doubt, the moments nobody sees. and everything they learned getting there, it's yours for the taking. Repin, find us wherever you listen. Go get it now. But, this conversation went so differently than I thought it was going to,
Starting point is 00:32:29 especially after what happened on the beach. Doty goes up to Luke, give it all the information that she just received. I was like, hey, talk to Jesse. And I heard that you don't think the wedding's going to happen. So that threw me. What the fuck, Jesse? I'm like, yeah, good start, reasonable.
Starting point is 00:32:48 Okay. Well, that's how I felt the time I said it. Mine's not in a wedding at all. Not the forefront of our minds. By the way, at the moment, if you asked me to get married tomorrow, I'd say no. Brother, what are you doing? What the fuck is wrong with you? Did you hit your head on the boat?
Starting point is 00:33:05 Like, what the hell are you doing? I think he was drunk. I think he was really, really drunk because he fell asleep like crazy. I'm not making excuses. I just, I was trying to rationalize it in my own head. Like, why would he do this?
Starting point is 00:33:16 I think he might do this regardless based on where they, where he thinks they are. Yeah. But, dude, yeah, the, the weirdest turn for a conversation to just do that and start.
Starting point is 00:33:26 He didn't even start it off well. He didn't say, yeah, I mean, like I probably said some like weird shit the other night. I was just spiraling, but like I don't feel that way. If he asked me to marry you tomorrow,
Starting point is 00:33:36 I would marry you. Like, you're not getting married tomorrow. That's, I think the biggest. issue with all of this. That's what I'm just staring at him. Like, are you fucking moron?
Starting point is 00:33:45 She's not asking you to get married. You started this. You threw that out there. You didn't have to say that. You could say, I'm still excited for our life together. I think we just have to get through this. Like, it's just a tough time right now, but we're completely fine and we're good. Smooth it over, dude.
Starting point is 00:33:59 He sees this as like his opportunity to really have it out. Like, I've still got some frustrations built up. Let me, let me have it out now since she started the conversation. I can blame her later. That's the vibe that I was getting from it. I'm like, you're a fucking moron. It was so dumb. Like,
Starting point is 00:34:14 and poor Doty, who's like, oh, God, that conversation with Jesse's got me really. Let me go get some comfort from Luke and know that like, we are good. Yeah. Granted, like Luke,
Starting point is 00:34:25 first of all, you shouldn't be this gung ho about it anyway, but even if you are, fucking fake it. Don't confirm everything that Jesse just said to her on the beach. Now she's going to spiral for real. This was like one of the craziest conversations we've seen in a very long time. And he just any time we have an episode where like he's starting to like crawl his way out
Starting point is 00:34:51 of this giant hole that he's dug, he takes dynamite and blows it up and goes even further down. This was his worst performance of the season. And he even realizes it because in the midst of insulting her like, oh, you know, now's not the time to bring this up. Just like you for you to give a shit about my feelings, the right, time is usually never but recently started to realize that things are hard for for me too that was dick thing to say ah that way i don't want to do this anymore i don't want to have this conversation and that was crazy too i don't want to do this anymore he gets up and walks away and go sleep like leaving
Starting point is 00:35:27 her to cry on the front of the boat dude he goes to the other side of the boat and falls asleep in the back like what the fuck is going on like i i thought when he realized that he was being a that he might, there's a chance, he might be like, let me sit next to you and like, I'm sorry. We're going to be okay. I'm just frustrated. I'm still frustrated from the other night.
Starting point is 00:35:49 I've been frustrated. Like, you make all your excuses, whatever the hell you want, but at least go comfort your fiance or something. I don't know. It might be a crazy thing to say instead. He's like, oh, fuck. I, yeah, I, I, I,
Starting point is 00:36:00 fuck this one up. Wow. I take, I don't know what to say. I shouldn't have said any of those things. I feel bad. All right. See you. Like what the fuck?
Starting point is 00:36:11 It was so bizarre. It was such a weird scene like overall. But we get back to land and everyone's gassed. They've been drinking on a boat all day. I know this feeling. You're like in between drunk and dead and you have to rally for dinner. Yeah, it's it's tough. It's a tough,
Starting point is 00:36:30 uh, tough regroup. But everyone's checking in. Yeah, you know, Michelle feels better. She had that conversation. and we go to Doty and Luke.
Starting point is 00:36:41 You okay. What do you think, Luke? What? Can you hear me? Oh, okay. You good? I heard you. Fuck off.
Starting point is 00:36:53 Yeah, like he's trying to now backpedal and get through this whole thing. And he's like, you know, me saying, I don't know. Like, sometimes I just think you don't like you. I'm like, don't double down. And like him going to his confession being like, maybe this is the conversation that we need it. Maybe this is harsh enough to. get things to change.
Starting point is 00:37:10 Stop. Just stop while you're behind. I absolutely love when he turns it into, let's talk about your feelings, but not your actual feelings, just your feelings about me. And it's really just about my feelings and how I'm interpreting your feelings towards me.
Starting point is 00:37:25 That's what he does all the time. And he turns it back on to her and makes her talk after he says something ridiculous. He makes her explain how she feels about him. Like he needs more reassurances than she needs right now. if you're giving it ever. That's very, very ridiculous. Luke, just shut up for the rest of the season, maybe. Stop talking ideally. I don't know. It's kind of crazy to, to witness.
Starting point is 00:37:50 But, all right, let's get there. Let's get to dinner on the beach for this disaster that transpires. And Danny's already drunk, as you can tell. And he pulls Michelle and says, hey, we're good, right? Because I heard the other day, you said, I made you feel. uncomfortable. No, she didn't. She said that you make people in the group feel uncomfortable. As Michelle says, I was speaking on behalf of others. Well, they can talk to me. This line tells you so much. And I wonder if everybody caught it. They can come to me. If I made them uncomfortable, I will apologize over and over and over or crazy thought. Stop making people feel uncomfortable. Yeah. That's the big problem. That's the big.
Starting point is 00:38:38 dark cloud hanging over everybody's heads right now is oh shit danny's drunk what are we going to do like they run from you like you have the plague and yeah i know some of the guys don't but every woman that's there every girl on the cast stays away from you you do not see anyone like you went over to michel to talk to her michel handled the conversation fine i mean obviously it starts off she says like i didn't say you make me uncomfortable i said that sometimes you just get a little annoying when you're drunk and I know there's a lot of things going on in the past but I'm not really talking about anything like that I'm just saying there's a lot of things going on and maybe in the future we can just change these things we can make people feel comfortable if you just change things
Starting point is 00:39:23 a little bit and that's when Nia drops in and this was fucking ridiculous she just tries to commandeer she knows he's hammered and she is like we said in the beginning she is very very worried which She sees a drunk Danny in a group full of people. She doesn't know what he's going to say. She doesn't know what he's going to do. She hovers. She's a helicopter parent to her husband who's probably 10 years older than her. I mean, it's fucking insane to watch this.
Starting point is 00:39:47 And then once this starts, she just doesn't let him go. She never lets him out of her sights. But while we're getting through the end of the conversation with Michelle, she has to interpret to him. Like, hey, there's an easy out in this conversation. It's kind of what I was getting. There's an out. Michelle is giving you an out in this conversation, but you're getting read up because
Starting point is 00:40:03 you don't want to take accountability. Michelle's not even really trying to get you to take accountability. She's just trying to get you to say, yeah, I understand what's going on. And moving forward, I'll be better. Moving forward, I'll be cognizant of what's going on, but I'll be okay. That's all Michelle's trying to do. She handles the conversation well for a drunk-ass Danny. He's getting revved up and he's starting to deny things.
Starting point is 00:40:23 And he's starting to say it happened three years ago. The fact that you know how long ago it happens and you know exactly what people are talking about is the problem. Because yes, you can apologize. We said this last year. You apologized to Jasmine four different times, but you bitched every time along the way, and you say now that you'll apologize to people for making them feel uncomfortable.
Starting point is 00:40:43 But right now, you're not apologizing. You're not taking accountability. You just want this whole thing to be fucking over with so that you can live your life and do whatever you please. That's the big problem. Correct. And you're trying to turn it and flip it into Jesse, having inflicted trauma on me.
Starting point is 00:41:01 She's got her own trauma. from being in a relationship with Jesse. I'm like, you little bitch, like, what does that have to do with anything? And by the way, when she even says to you, she doesn't want to, Janet, does not want to apologize for everything. She doesn't want to apologize for what you did. She wants to apologize for everything else. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:41:21 He goes, so what? You didn't do that? My birthday. This is my point, like last week. Like, because we've talked about it so much. much and it's been referenced so many times on the show. We've now gotten to a point where it's like, oh, that again? It's like, yes, that again.
Starting point is 00:41:42 Because you're not taking any accountability. And when you did apologize last year, you rolled your eyes half the time. So yes, we're still here. And now, as you said, your wife is helicoptering. And what I get from all of this is this plan, this whole plan to just kind of paint. And look, again, I know Janet has been annoying and she's done fucking stupid things. And people don't like her. Completely fine.
Starting point is 00:42:03 but this whole plan of just blaming Janet and acting like it's not a big deal and it's something that Janet keeps perpetuating because she's not apologizing for it, which is very ironic because Danny's not apologizing or feeling bad or making any changes. The whole plan was made by Nia. This plan is not by Danny because we can tell very clearly
Starting point is 00:42:22 Danny can't be bothered by this. He wants to move on. He's done with this whole thing. Nia knows the perspective of everybody else. She understands what it's going to look like on camera. She wants to paint other people as the villain who are perpetrating this, making Danny looking bad as their main storyline. That's what Nia is trying to do.
Starting point is 00:42:40 So this whole thing was concocted by Nia, and she's hoping that this plan just goes according to it. Now, if you're Nia, you made the wrong fucking move. You should have just had your shitty husbands apologize and say, look, guys, I know that things happened in the past. I know that, like, tempers got high. I don't want to make any of you guys feel bad or make you feel uncomfortable. I don't want any of those situations to arise.
Starting point is 00:43:05 Let's just move forward. And if you did that to the whole group, we would be past it. But instead, because if you're shitty-ass strategy to paint other people as the villains, it's unraveling in real time because your husband can't keep it together.
Starting point is 00:43:17 And he's not going to keep it together because he can't be bothered and he doesn't give a shit. Yep, 100%. And then it starts to devolve into like a free-for-all because we have people asking, Zach comes up to Danny and he's like, hey, the other day that you lumped us into this whole thing.
Starting point is 00:43:36 And I just want some clarification of what's going on. As Janet said, and he was like, oh, Janet, no, what I said was that, you know, other people get messy sometimes. You know, Brittany's one of my best friends. I've never said anything bad about you, by the way, when Brittany joins. You literally said Britney's drunk all the time. Blackout. Doty said, blackout drunk, Doty said, if we want to talk about who needs to stop drinking, Brittany, Zach, Jasmine.
Starting point is 00:44:06 So now you guys are lying and you're claiming that Janet's lying. And because this worked last year, you're hoping it works again. Little do you guys know or you're just oblivious to it. Everybody hates Danny now. So, no, they're not on your team. And they're actually defending Janet, even Brittany in front of everybody is like, no, Janet just told me what you guys said. And don't he's like, of course she's going to text you. This is what she does.
Starting point is 00:44:32 She just tries to start shit. She tries to stir the pod. It's just Janet being Janet. It's like, we know Danny too well now to write this off. I'm not blaming Janet. This isn't a Janet problem. This is you guys trying to pin it on Janet and it's not working. It honestly easily could have been a Janet problem if you apologized and made amends to everybody else
Starting point is 00:44:52 and talked about it in the group and took accountability. If Janet kept going, you could. could make it a Janet problem because everybody else would look at Janet and be like, come on, like, we're done with this. We've moved on. Clearly the rest of the cast really doesn't want to touch it with a 10-foot pole. So they want to leave it alone unless they're involved. Once you involve Jasmine, Brittany, Zach in their drinking and compare it to Danny's,
Starting point is 00:45:13 then they want to kind of accuse them or recuse themselves from all of it. So there's clearly something there. You're just missing it. And the people who are going after Danny pretty much is just Janet. Now Lala, hopefully Lala can put the pieces together. You can make that comparison and, make people actually uncomfortable, but not in the way that Danny's making people uncomfortable,
Starting point is 00:45:31 in an actual uncomfortable way where they have to admit, yeah, we've got a problem with Danny's actions when he's drunk. Correct. But watching Jesse try to be tough always makes me laugh because Lala comes over to sit down when they're talking about him. And he's like, look,
Starting point is 00:45:47 if anyone has a problem with Danny's drinking or dancing with his boys, they can go through me. Who the fuck are you? Ridiculously. What a crazy thing to do. say, I'm the line in the sand. That's pathetic, as Lala says. What the fuck is he talking about?
Starting point is 00:46:03 I don't know. I have no idea. Tough guy, Jesse, showing up for the birthday boy. It's his birthday. You leave him alone. It's going to be okay, Danny. And then he just starts like pet in his head. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:46:15 And when Danny, like, this is the point. He raises his voice at Lala, who's trying to defend Janet in this situation. No shit. Don't talk to me like that. I'm not your wife. And I was like, hell yeah. Let him know. And that's when Nia slides in, like waiting for this whole thing.
Starting point is 00:46:35 And she is literally in his face, like right here. And daddy's dying on the hill of everybody in this group wants to pay me like a bad person. And as Lala says, look in the mirror. Maybe, just maybe if you hadn't done these things, these people wouldn't be talking about it. And you know what tells me he knows. knows that there's shit there when he goes, what have you done, Lala? That's not the fucking point, Danny.
Starting point is 00:47:04 That's not the point at all. And yeah, Lauren from Utah's annoying, but she hasn't done the shit that you've done. So what do you mean? What a bad way to combat this? Yeah, I thought that this was, thank God somebody's on point and just going after Danny,
Starting point is 00:47:20 because this is what we needed. This is absolutely what we needed. I was hoping when we saw the trailer from last week when she called him, what she called him, what was it Peter Piper no Peter Peter Peter Pocker Peter Pocket Peter Pocket Pecker that's a tough one and she'd get that out without fucking up she was more impressive that is yeah I'm not drinking right now and I can't do it I know it last week isn't like I don't have the best track record with this show I was drunk last week but
Starting point is 00:47:45 yeah I'm not drinking right now I promise guys I swear Peter Pocketkekekeke not drunk right now but yeah it's not gonna do many injustice but yeah I mean we needed somebody to do it. I don't care who it was. I really didn't give a shit who it was. But Lala being the person to go after him is good because those, all of her faults, all of the things that we talked about from DPR that we got really annoyed about where she calls people dog and homie and she goes after dudes and she tries to paint every dude the same way where it's like every dude sucks. That actually works. She's now well equipped to go after somebody like Danny to push somebody like Jesse to the side who Lacey was just kind of sitting there like, yeah, I wouldn't be surprised
Starting point is 00:48:26 when she pulled Jesse aside like, yeah, you stay out of this one. We're not, there's no collateral damage coming your way. So this works. This is the only way
Starting point is 00:48:33 that we can do this. And everybody kind of disperses. Like you don't see people, aside from Nia, standing up for Danny. You don't see anybody going to Lala and saying, hey, you should probably stop.
Starting point is 00:48:43 They let it go, which is a very good microcosm for all of the Danny shit. They're always going to talk behind his back about, yeah, he gets a little drunk, but like nothing really happens because it doesn't really affect me.
Starting point is 00:48:55 But when push comes to shove, you're not really defending him. Kristen defends him, obviously, but Kristen even does it in a way that just points it back at Janet. So aside from that, we're not really getting anybody in between Lala and Danny. So you're not really defending Danny. You just have different things going on where you're like, eh, I'm not going to get involved. Exactly.
Starting point is 00:49:13 And it just starts to get worse and worse for Danny and Nia because Nia is literally trying to manage the conversation. Lala's calling it out step by step. Like, what the hell's, what's going on right now? Like, what are you doing? I'm talking to it. Don't talk to her. She's talking to your wife.
Starting point is 00:49:29 And joy says your wife. Like, look at me, my love and like all this other crazy shit. Danny's behind her yelling and getting activated and saying, where's your husband? It's like, this is what everyone's talking about. Guys,
Starting point is 00:49:41 like this, you're doing it right now. And Jasmine's walking around. Like, this is exactly what I'm talking about. He's a fucking prick. He's disgusting. He's this.
Starting point is 00:49:49 He's that. Yeah. Like, you're doing it currently because you're drinking. And then when your wife tries to reel, you win and say, hey, drinking more right now is not a good idea. It's my birthday. This is my birthday.
Starting point is 00:50:02 It's 9.30. What the fuck? And she's trying to talk to him like one on one. Don't fucking don't talk to me like that. Don't you do it in a way it's going to heighten me. Be a grownup and control your fucking emotions, brother. Yeah. Settle the fuck down because you're not doing yourself any favors.
Starting point is 00:50:18 You're actually proving everybody's point. And you're going to blame it on the fact that it was your birthday. Dana got ruined so you got animated. Mm-hmm. Yep. That's exactly what he's trying to do. Obviously, the other piece of that is the Kristen and Janet stuff. And this is, again, I don't know, and I can't really still, you know, weeks later, can't wrap my head around why Kristen is defending Danny.
Starting point is 00:50:42 I think it's bizarre. I don't really understand it at all. But when she does something like this, it's still just fueled by hatred for Janet. Like making it Janet's problem. Janet walking by like, oh, yeah, it's her fucking. problem. She started all of this. Like, no, she didn't. She really didn't. All she did was push people to say, hey, I'm comparing you to Danny. And they were like, whoa, no, absolutely not. And it did, and it did something. Look, if you truly believe she took something out of context, she twisted your words,
Starting point is 00:51:11 reported back to everybody else. And that's typical Janet. That's what she's going to do. Fine. Call her out for it. Call her out specifically. But even Brittany was sitting there saying, I don't think it was taken out of context. I don't think it was something that. that you said and now she twisted your words. I think it was what you said. And I'm just here to talk to you about what you said. Brittany was good. Brittany, honestly,
Starting point is 00:51:32 has been pretty good on this trip. Yeah, she's actually been really good this season. I don't want to say the whole season, but she's been good for the back half of the season. Yeah. She's pretty fucking logical. And look, maybe throwing this out there, but maybe her drinking less is a good thing.
Starting point is 00:51:49 Maybe she actually is doing good. And she's actually helping other people and making the show move in the right to, direction, but she stays on task, just trying to get Kristen to talk about. And all Kristen wants to talk about is Janet. And she starts mocking Janet's voice. And Janet, thankfully, I was worried that Janet was just going to walk away again because that's what she's been doing.
Starting point is 00:52:06 And we talked about it last week. Like, she's out on an island by herself. But this might be enough to kind of push people a little bit towards her. Like, all right, let's hear what's going on. And if you have Lala, you've got the strength of like 10 men. So I think you're okay. So it's just interesting to see how it all pulls out because, again, at the forefront, we've got Lala and Danny.
Starting point is 00:52:24 And now Danny's emotions are so high. He's yelling at everybody that's walking by. But Kristen's still there making it a Janet problem, not a Danny problem, not a Lala problem, not a Jesse problem, a Janet problem. So again, it just kind of shakes out where it's like, okay, that's what your real issue is here. 100%. And you get to see the aftermath of like Nia and Doty just putting their heads together like, oh, it's all Janet. We see her. How does nobody else see her?
Starting point is 00:52:51 We see right through her bullshit. in meanwhile Danny's just by himself at the bar now by himself whining with the poor fucking bartenders yeah poor part of worst birthday ever also Nia walked in and
Starting point is 00:53:07 and goes up to the fucking the babysitter and she's like pray for me this was not this was not the sarcastic this was not the like fuck me like just pray for me or something
Starting point is 00:53:19 this was like a please pray for me please get on your knees and pray for me tonight. Get on your knees and pray for me tonight. Say 10 hell marries for me tonight. Like, it's just, it's ludicrous the way that this plays out. And again, Nia, we're going to have this conversation next week. We know it. You told Danny a million times we have to fly out with you get up at 6 o'clock. We've got a baby. We need to get out of here. Don't get too fucked up tonight. He got too fucked up. He's now sitting at the bar by himself. She'll have one conversation with him next week about his drinking. He'll make it not a big deal.
Starting point is 00:53:52 It was my birthday. And that'll be at the end of it. It's my birthday. I know it was your birthday, but like you want to be around all these people. They're only doing bad things to you. It's their problem, not your problem. That's the conversation that we're going to end up getting. And then we're going to move past it.
Starting point is 00:54:05 And I get that again, no one else in the cast is going to talk about Danny sitting at the bar by himself. It's just we've done this song and dance before. We know how it's going to play out. It's just I'm hoping that with Lala, with Janet, maybe growing a little bit more of a spine, now that she's talking about things and she's got Lala in her corner. there might be somewhere where we can actually move forward and hold him accountable, at least enough, and this is my only hope,
Starting point is 00:54:30 at least enough to get them the fuck off the show. Like if they realize that this isn't going anywhere, then get off the show. Yeah. And I think the one thing that I was hoping would kind of rattle him a little bit and wake him up is like a lot of people on this cast have been defending you guys all season. I know. You now have nobody behind you except for Doty and probably Luke,
Starting point is 00:54:51 but he's an idiot. it doesn't that tell you something? Like, you can't constantly be the problem and claim that everybody else is the problem. It's you. Look in the mirror. But let's get this some questions. First one up from Deirdre O'Connor 8. Does Nia not see or want to see how Danny is?
Starting point is 00:55:15 I think she sees it. I don't think she necessarily wants to see it, but it's impossible to not see it. but I think she's still got that. I don't really want to talk about this on the show. I don't want to paint my husband in a bad light on this show. I would just make it look like it's everybody else's problem. It just doesn't work. And again,
Starting point is 00:55:32 I don't understand the Danny Defenders online. The Danny Defenders in the group, I think it's more just like, I don't want to deal with this shit. That's a that problem. I agree. This is funny from Nicky Mano 23. I take it back.
Starting point is 00:55:43 After Schwartz got shut down by Nia, as he's wearing a Zach headband, he can stay. Yeah, Schwartz can stay. Schwartz is fun. He's just for comic relief right now. 100%.
Starting point is 00:55:53 From Chi Chi White 05, why do you think the Jesse also keeps defending Danny? Weird Boys Club thing is the best thing I can come up with. It's bizarre. I don't like at least, and we talked about it briefly, but you know, Jesse obviously seems like he has some sort of conscious and he can talk about things with Janet at the end of the episode and be kind of endearing and actually listen to her.
Starting point is 00:56:16 So there's something in there. At the very least, just talk about his drinking and be like, and like he gets loaded and he's annoying his shit. Oh, yeah, yeah. From Chado Potato, do you think that this show gets another season? Unfortunately, yes. Yeah, definitely will.
Starting point is 00:56:36 Dilla dea Nira. Laura needs to bop him again and maybe take Nia 2. What Kool-Aid is Doty on? I don't know. I don't get it. Unfortunately, there's some other questions in here that go against. Yeah. It's what I thought it was.
Starting point is 00:56:53 I'm skipping them. I'm not reading those people any kind of fucking time. That's the fact that you're stating these things, that you wrote that out, read it and sent it, is, like, come on. And also the other piece of that is that you thought by asking a question about Janet's sexual assault. That Steele and I were going to sit here and answer that question is ridiculous. Yeah, like, come on. It's unbelievable.
Starting point is 00:57:18 Of course, we're not going to fucking touch that. Um, I had a good one. Uh, but, but, but, but, oh,
Starting point is 00:57:25 this is good. There's two of them. I guess I'll go for both. Um, Mad, Wob, Nia can't do shit against Lauren from Utah. Who was talking to Danny and not Nia? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:57:35 Wow, that's a good point. And then the other piece of that was also on team Janet and I don't care. Who knows it? So you basically, I'll go get mad at her. Don't get mad at us. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:57:44 Uh, Nisa, this is actually funny. Isn't it crazy that season three is very much what we thought season one was going to be. Yeah. Yeah. Actually.
Starting point is 00:57:53 Yes. Yep. Absolutely. From Maria, not a question, but I didn't think that I could hate Danny Moore. I was wrong.
Starting point is 00:58:04 Yeah. Every week, it goes lower and lower. Jennifer M2M, thank you Danny and Nia for making Janet and Lala the logical ones. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:58:13 You've made us like Lauren from Utah. That is not easy. It's not an easy thing to do. Not an easy thing to do. from Marissa and Palma what is appealing R.E. Danny and Nia. Why does most of the cast
Starting point is 00:58:27 ride for them so hard? I have no fucking clue. I really don't. It's very strange. Rachel Mickelis finale has to be soon. That's what we keep saying. We keep saying that. And yet here we stand.
Starting point is 00:58:41 From Shoshi Davis, only thing good about the Valley is when their episode is over and next gen starts. Yeah. Yeah, I agree with that. Next gen's good. I'm enjoying that.
Starting point is 00:58:50 Yeah. Do a couple more? Uh, from it's Holly Holla. Do grown men make as much of a big deal for their birthday as Danny is? No. And the second that either steal or I see a grown man make as big a deal about their birthday, that's not like a 40 year old birthday. If you have a family like Danny has, I get that.
Starting point is 00:59:08 Celebrate it with your fucking family. Like yeah, you have friends. You have a big party where everybody comes over and you get to talk about you being 40 years old. Like 40, 50, I get. Yeah, but like 45 is, is a stretch. if you're in Mexico with your friends and you keep saying birthday boy, you're a fucking loser. Yep. Bingo.
Starting point is 00:59:28 Oh, from Amanda Rocky's mom. How do you think Ney and Danny will approach the reunion? Like there's no way they can feel like they're in the right watching this back. They will. Oh, they will. News for you. They're absolutely going to think they're in the right. And by the way, they're probably going to have at least a couple people have their backs.
Starting point is 00:59:45 Yep, unfortunately. See if we got one more good one in here. There's always some good ones in here. I'm just digging through the shitty ones. All right, we'll do this from Oh, damn it. Ojo and Ojo.
Starting point is 01:00:01 Yeah. Yeah, we'll go with that. Danny's the worst, no doubt. If they go, is there enough drama for the show to go on? Yes. Maybe we don't fucking know
Starting point is 01:00:10 because that's all we've been talking about for two years. Well, we'd get to invest in other things. And then you'd be able to see, like season one, we liked this show. We really like this show.
Starting point is 01:00:21 So yeah, like there's more here. I don't want to just be bogged down by dark, heavy shit all the time. I would like to see them have some fun or check in about their lives and see them, I don't know, enjoying themselves. Every episode doesn't have to be so fucking heavy. That's what this show has become. And I know that fucking Jeremiah is at home jerking off to it like, this is so good. It's so dark. Make it worse.
Starting point is 01:00:48 Make it worse. Fuck. Weird shit. Yep. But yeah, I don't know. Hopefully it wraps up soon. We keep saying that every week and yet. I know.
Starting point is 01:00:59 No sign of a finale on the horizon yet. I don't know if it's better if I just skip to the very end just to hear for the recap. Like I might be happy. You're going to hate watching it. I mean, I already hate watching it. No, I mean, I think it'll be really tough to get through if you do.
Starting point is 01:01:14 If you know it's not the finale and you're going to be really pissed. Then I'll text you. How about this? If you watch it and you get to the end and you see it and you hear it's season finale, please text me. I'll send you a thumbs up emoji. Okay, yeah, you'd never do that. So that would work well. If you see that, you know.
Starting point is 01:01:32 Yeah, perfect. Well, now I'm exhausted. Every time we do this, I'm like exhausted afterwards. But that's all I got. You got anything else? Nope. That's our show. Rob Rose right out of here.
Starting point is 01:01:46 The Tudors were probably the most scandalous dynasty in British history. The season on vulgar history were spilling the tea on this messy, messed up family and the people who had to live through it all. Anne Boleyn and the other wives of Henry VIII are known today from the musical Six, but who were they really? Did any of them actually want to marry him? Henry the Eight, the man who was literally the worst? How did two of them manage to escape with their heads intact? We'll also get into historical mysteries, like who really wrote Shakespeare's plays? Who was the real Bloody Mary? What was happening elsewhere in the world while the tutors were trampling all over?
Starting point is 01:02:20 England, like the mysterious disappearance of the Roanoke colony and the true story of the girl known as Pocahontas. I'll be joined by tutor historians, experts, and a few of my friends who really hate Henry the 8th to learn all about the tutors this season on vulgar history. Because it's fuckingry the 8th all day, every day. Listen to vulgar history wherever you get podcasts. Goodbye, Kyle! Did the sound of those words call to you like Pavlov's dog? Then you might enjoy our podcast Turtle Time.
Starting point is 01:02:51 Every week you can join me, Riley Hamilton. and my co-host Amy Scarletta as we cover the most pressing Bravo news and dig into the new episodes to answer important questions like, who the hell is Adrian Maloof in this world?
