Oh, man, it's 8 o'clock.
And so that'll make it a...
I don't need the spotlight.
I shine just fine.
Hi, I'm karma.
And yes, I am a bitch.
Brov Bros.
Good afternoon, everybody, and welcome back to another episode of Brov Bros.
Your favorite podcast from the Bros.
For everybody, for whoever wants to listen.
I am your co-host, St. Russell, joined as always by the one and only
Daylight McGill.
Coots, what's up, dude?
Got a nice little light coming in this window over here, just staring me right in the face.
It makes me look, I think, sophisticated, like a little golden hour, but also maybe old-timey.
A little old-timey.
What the hell that means?
Oh, man, I'm not really sure either, but hey, someone else out there thinks you look old-timey.
It's one of my favorite comments we've gotten in a while.
Maybe I'm reading too far into this, but maybe it's a reference to last week's episode when we were talking about taking those old-timey,
photos. Perhaps. I don't know. Were you wearing something like maybe a vest? Was it a vest day?
Maybe I was wearing a vest. Not the vest or old time. I'm just trying to figure what would make you
old-timey. I think it's just the mustache, probably. Stash? Maybe. I don't, hey, I don't think you
look old-time. It's because I come here from work, so like I have clothes on. I think, well, I mean,
we both have clothes on. If people aren't watching, I don't want to get the wrong idea. I'm trying
to get people to go to YouTube. Oh, do we have clothes on? Oh, find out. But yeah, that was a
funny one. And then Shooter's brother
let us know
that we sounded like idiots talking about
daylight savings. I wanted to
clarify that we're aware
that daylight savings itself is
not what makes the days
shorter. We're aware it's the tilt
of the earth away from the sun and seasons
that's what makes the day shorter.
So I wanted to clarify
because Shooter went back and listened
and we did in fact sound stupid.
Yeah. I'm really worried
that we sound like very
very, very dumb people.
Yeah, I don't.
A lot of things now.
I think that we're pretty aware of the fact that we sound stupid a lot.
Yeah.
I think we also sound smart sometimes.
So I'll take the balance.
Look, I'm sure there's people out there that have podcasts that edit certain things out because
they feel like they sounded stupid.
We don't.
We just don't do it.
We really don't.
I like to leave it in to, you know, make it more realistic.
Like, yes, I like to think we're two very intelligent individuals.
But when you talk enough,
Honestly, even the smartest people in the world, I bet you if you get them to ramble on a podcast and they don't get to edit anything out, they probably sound pretty stupid too.
Yeah, I doubt that's actually true.
But, you know, I was trying to say, I think we have a good balance of, yes, we're smart, but we're also dumb a lot.
And we acknowledge that part of ourselves.
And I think that's what makes us so endearing and delightful.
Yep.
Deering and delightful, an old timey.
An old timey.
Yeah.
So good times.
Good times.
But we're not here to talk about all that nonsense or daylight savings and the fact that we do know.
what it means.
Yeah, totally.
We know what it means.
We know what it means.
We're here to talk about Potomac.
This season continues to be good.
I'm enjoying the newcomers to the show.
I think that they are a breath of fresh air, honestly.
They all three have very different personalities.
Yeah, they do.
And they're mixing it up in a good way, not like pushing things too much.
They're waiting to get pulled in.
Yeah, they are waiting to get pulled in.
And they have beef with each other, which is hilarious.
I like pointing beef at somebody like Jacqueline
because she just can't handle it
that's incredible to me
and the best part about this is
I thought that this was a rather tame episode
I thought that this was an episode
that we thought was going to pop off
we thought that it was going to start
with Giselle and Karen discussing their issues
which seems to be a main point
and it really didn't happen until the end of the episode
and it was rather underwhelming
is a word that I might use but
it was kind of refreshing
it was weird and we'll get to that a little bit later
but we thought
that this was going to pop off a little bit more, and it didn't, and that's okay. Because the
season has been so strong, and I know Andy was in the press recently, he was talking about
Potomac, and he said that just changing up the cast a little bit, everybody has responded
in a good way. It's sort of like a pallet cleanser, honestly, from the last couple of season that
we've seen in the last few seasons that's just taken a huge downturn. So you can afford a
slower episode. You can afford an episode where everybody's getting along for the most part and
kind of resolving things. And not a lot, nothing new has really happened, at least until the
very end of the episode. But still, you can afford these episodes when you're having a strong
season. So it's still nice to watch. It was nice to watch. And I think that why I liked it is,
while they didn't get fully into it, there is some tension in the group. And there's some things
that people need to sort out. People need to settle. And they have to have some conversations.
but they didn't blow it so out of proportion so quickly that we're four episodes in
and now we're like fuck no one's talking to each other they're pushing it enough in weird ways
like weird people are coming out of the woodwork like stacey making a comment about jacklin
already i'm like oh damn where did that come from which is good because she needed to get into the
mix and she did the other two newbies jazzy and kiana there or i guess kianna's been here
for a year but still relatively new they're also getting involved but not doing too much we
don't like when newbies come in too comfortable too quickly.
You can look at Katie over an O.C.
She had to battle back all season, which I think she did a good job doing that.
Yeah.
We see that a lot, though.
They come in too strong.
Then you've got a newcomer that's way too comfortable.
They fall short, and then they kind of fade off.
Yeah, and I would point out, too, that they all seem to have different personalities.
Yes.
Stacey seems to be a little bit more reserved, a little bit more quiet, maybe secretive.
If you want to use that word, that's thrown around on this episode.
Boring is another word that you may use for that.
I don't really find her boring because we're still getting to know her, so that's not something that I'm going to say.
Jazzy seems to be kind of chomping at the bit to get involved.
Yeah, I mean, we saw her in the sprinter van last week, or two weeks ago, last week she's talking about how Giselle kicked them all out.
She wasn't happy about that.
This week, she's going after Jacqueline, which is hilarious.
So they're all kind of bringing something new to the table, something different to the table, maybe a new alliance with certain people on the show.
So it's just, it's working out really well, and I'm not going to criticize it.
No, I'm not either.
I like it.
So let's jump right into this episode, and they're down,
are headed down, North Carolina, and they're in the car,
and it's the continuation of Mia and Karen's conversation.
And Mia's trying to force the issue at this point,
because Karen has not said, I feel bad.
But Karen tries to put words in her mouth and says,
it's good that you're saying you're effed up.
It's good that you're, she goes, whoa, whoa, whoa, I'm not admitting to anything.
She was trying to throw you a bone there,
and you just denied a DUI after already having a DUI,
you have a criminal court case coming up for your DUI.
It would probably do a lot for viewers and just for people around you to simply acknowledge what happened.
And I think she's, now that we know that her court appeal just got denied somewhat recently, right?
Yeah, that was like two weeks ago.
So she was clearly under the impression that she could somehow incriminate herself on this season by saying something.
But that was stupid because even now, when you tried to appeal it, they said no, which again,
makes you look even worse because the lead-up to you trying to appeal your case,
you're saying more or less it's not your fault.
It's a really bad look.
I guess that's what she's trying to do.
Yeah, it's not her fault or, I don't know.
Maybe she thought that there was some sort of way that she could say it was from the medication that she was taking.
Oh, God.
And that's what happened.
Like, there's, I can really only speculate because she's giving us absolutely nothing on this.
And I love the idea that Mia, of all people, who we've had problems with in the past,
just the way that she presents herself on TV.
She has come a long way, and her being the voice of reason here,
her actually giving Karen the roadmap, for lack of a better term,
to do this and to get through this so that people will start to move on.
She even lays it out to the point of you don't need to see who you're real friends are this way.
It's weird.
Let the girls rally around you when you need us.
If you need us to gather money for a bail or something like that,
which is funny because you can throw a little shade in there.
Mia gave her everything.
Karen's just not going to take it.
No, never.
She's not going to take any help.
She's going to do things her way.
You either get on board and quote unquote, she finds out who her real friends are.
She's not going to take criticism.
She never has.
She never will, especially when she's up against the wall right now and trying to deny a DUI claim,
which, again, is kind of baffling and not a great look.
But in the other car, we get Jacqueline, Wendy, and Giselle.
And this brings up the comment of when Karen,
call Jacqueline drunk.
And this is a bigger sticking point than I thought it would be as we find out later.
But Giselle points out that Karen calls drunk all the time.
It's starting to sound more and more like a Shannon Bador situation, which we have experience
with.
And the difference being Shannon at least copped to the DUI, and on Karen's page, she's
not doing that.
But Wendy, who I don't know if her goal this season is to stay clean and not get involved,
but maybe she's also just happy she has to.
has a friendship with Karen still and doesn't want to fuck that up.
And she says, well, Karen's not here to defend herself.
Let's stick a pin in this one, guys.
We're not going to do this right now, which I think is interesting because later on,
they point out, Wendy, you don't have beef with really anybody.
Yeah.
And that's a first.
That's a good thing for Wendy.
Maybe she's starting to enjoy it.
I know.
And she doesn't want anybody to have beef with anybody.
Let's just keep it in the car for now.
I don't think she wants that.
I think she's very protective of Karen.
Yeah, she is very, a lot of people on this cast are very protective of Karen,
which in this moment, you don't need to be.
It's time to not be.
You can defend her.
Wow.
Not her actions.
You can defend the person.
Okay.
Maybe saying, let's not talk about this because we don't know.
Let's let Karen talk about it.
Fair.
Something like that.
Maybe don't go after her too hard because she's been through a lot.
Yeah.
I don't know.
A little murkier.
But I think Wendy's just enjoying that she doesn't have beef with anybody.
Yeah.
She's just happy kind of.
Like Happy Eddie.
Yeah.
Yeah, it's Happy Eddie and Wendy.
Hey, the happy couple.
I love it.
Good for them.
Yeah, good for you guys.
But they ask how Karen and Giselle are doing, and it's what we all assume is going to happen.
They're not great right now, but it's going to be okay.
But there needs to be a conversation ad.
And Wendy points out, I love the entire episode that she's like, no matter what happens, this is my day, my trip.
So you need to squash this the night before because on my birthday, it's all about me.
and when they get to the house, she's like, it's all about me.
That may do a good job of waylaying some of the drama.
So it doesn't get too ramped up too quickly
because Wendy's making light of everything, bringing it back to,
all right, we can do this.
But remember, happy, happy, happy, it's my birthday.
Let's not get caught up in all the bullshit.
This works for New Giselle.
It does.
New Giselle being respectful of boundaries.
Weird.
I haven't seen that one before.
It's very strange.
Maybe it's because of a third party in her ear for the entire
career at Potomac
I'm struggling through it
I'm talking about Robin
I was going to say green-eyed bandit and then I got
stuck on it and then I just
I froze.
Entire career at Potomac.
Potomac? Question mark.
That's funny that you mentioned the career point to
before we get into her confessional
when she asks if she can say shit.
It's like, how long have you been on the show?
Yeah, you can say it. You can say it might
whatever the fuck you want.
They might bleep it, but they'll say,
Just say whatever the hell you want.
Just be raw and emotional.
Who cares?
But no, I like that Giselle is respecting the boundary of her birthday.
Yeah, you know what?
I will get it done tonight because I do have to leave.
I have to go back to my kids.
There's an event that I have to get back to, so I want to make sure that it's done tonight
so that you can have the good rest of the weekend.
Yeah.
Wendy's probably, I'll believe it when I see it.
And it works.
It's fine.
It totally works.
New Giselle.
New Giselle is great.
I really enjoy New Giselle.
But back to Karen and Mia's car and they're talking about Stacey.
And Mia just calls her boring.
And you know what?
From the first few episodes, we've talked about it,
she has been a little more buttoned up.
She's a little afraid to really open up her life.
She's got a lot going on, as we've talked about before.
She's a major transition in her life.
She just left Philly and QVC to start.
I don't know what she's doing.
Now that she's back in the Potomac area,
but she's getting divorced.
They haven't told her daughter.
There's a lot happening.
So we'll give her some grace in the first few episodes.
She is a likable person.
Yeah.
So there's hope there for sure.
And the fact that she got involved with Jacqueline.
And this episode blends to more hope there.
So I'm not out on Stacey by any means.
But Mia calling this out, I thought was going to be a one-off.
I didn't think it was going to come back later.
And it certainly does.
But we get to Lake Norman and we find out more about ink.
Mia is really shoving ink down our throat.
I don't know if you've noticed that.
I've noticed that at every opportunity to talk about anything, ink comes up every single time.
Yeah, I mean, I'm not surprised by this just because it comes from Mia.
Yeah.
but like you don't have to convince us just show us you know what i mean yeah no maybe once i we might again
we might want one or two scenes with him but it might be too much well the first one we got was so
overproduced and uncomfortable yeah that's what i'm thinking about i don't know if yeah you're
right but my i didn't mean like actually show us i mean actions speak louder than words you can sit here
until you're blue in the face that ink is the love of your life and you guys move to lake norman
together and this and that and the other is doing it seems like her agenda is to make everybody
okay with it even though it's a very weird situation but it's not normal so just accept it's not
normal and like the more you try to make it normal the more people are going to question it and she's
going to continue to do that and it's anything but normal and it would be anything but normal if you
were just telling us hey yeah the last time that we were down here was new year's eve and i had
ink and g in the house together with my kids people are going to think that that's weird
because it is fucking weird and it's even fucking weirder that you're going through
the potential paternity test for your oldest son.
So, yeah, it's really fucking strange.
It's a strange situation.
Just address that it's really weird, and we can all move on.
Don't try to make it normal.
That's when we're going to get stuck on it.
This is not like, all of a sudden, sorry to cut you off,
but this isn't immediately like, oh, you know,
it's really nice to see a nice modern family.
No, it's not one of those.
Or somebody stepping up.
This is a very forced modern family that I'm pretty sure that Gordon wants nothing to do
with, but he's hanging around because he's fucking old.
He's old, and potentially his kids.
It's just a weird situation.
The more you try to make it normal, we are not going to believe you.
But it's funny watching Karen stomp around this whole episode because she's upset that it's not going poorly
because all of her birthday celebrations have been, quote, unquote, awful because somebody sat in the middle seat,
which is not a big deal, but it is the Grand Dame, and look, she expects certain things.
I'm surprised that Mia was able to plan this one.
She didn't.
She passed it off to her house.
down on Lake Norman.
That's not her house.
I mean, like, it's her, sorry, her venue, you will.
Lake Norman is her decision.
Whoever she hired that, what's her name at the end of the episode, who's the
event coordinator, she did a nice job.
She did a very nice job.
But her last trip was awful.
Miami was terrible.
Oh, man.
That was like.
You have like four episodes down there?
Yeah, it was so long.
That was like when Potomac really, I think most of us Potomac fans were like, shit, we're in
trouble.
This four episode stretch.
of Miami was horrible. I remember because we got to the fourth episode and I think both of us were like,
fuck, we're still in Miami. Yeah. And I got to play the bam, bam, bam. I can't wait for Miami to come
back. It's not going to come back. Oh, yeah. It's going to hit. It's going to hit so good. It's so good.
I think we talked more about the actual house itself and the architecture. Yeah. We did about
what was going on because nothing was going on. It was all that shit with Peter. Yeah.
Yeah, dude. That was wild. I think he got it. I don't know. I'm not going to finish that sentence.
Allegedly. Allegedly some shit went down with Peter. Yeah. Yeah. But anyway.
they bring up Jacqueline and her weird relationship with Mia,
which obviously we've seen it in the past.
It was blown out of proportion by them two years ago.
And that was also a mainstay in Miami and the potential threesomes that were going on,
sharing people.
It was all strange to us.
I didn't believe most of it.
I thought it was all just like blah, blah.
Jacqueline wishes.
Yeah.
Right.
But there is still an air about Jacqueline that,
you want to be Mia's sidekick.
But at the same time, Jacqueline is saying verbally,
I don't want to be attached to Mia at the hip.
But this is my point.
Action speak louder than words.
We don't believe you.
Because every time shit goes down,
you always kind of shimmy over to her
and say some weird shit in support of Mia.
Yeah.
And we're going to talk about that a lot as this episode goes on.
Every meal that we have for the next,
probably the entire Lake Norman trip,
we're going to have to do that.
I think in her core,
she loves Mia.
and wants to be her sidekick,
but her seeing her potential career here on this show
wants to be known as, like, a standalone.
Well, then she's got a different thing.
Yeah, I know.
Because it's not working at the moment.
Yeah.
It was nice to see Wendy's room all done up,
and the fact that Mia's the one that coordinated this,
let's not forget, there were drinks thrown down in Miami.
Again, that fucking disaster trip.
So the fact that she's on Mia's trip again
and Mia's going all out for her, it just, nature is healing.
Nature is healing.
Wendy gets a good birthday.
Yeah, and everyone's happy and it's fun and I'm enjoying it.
But we find out that Jacqueline is staying in Mia's room.
And when we go to Mia's confessional, she's so condescending about it that this is the place that Jacqueline is stuck in with Mia.
Because Mia treats her like a child and Jacqueline is okay with it.
She might kick and scream about it a little bit, but then Mia's like, shush, shush, and she's like, okay.
and it kind of falls in line.
It's going to shower together.
Yeah, let's go shower off.
Like, it's so weird.
The whole thing's weird.
And she even says,
Jacqueline is a baby and needs to nurse at night.
Like, it's just strange.
It's just very strange.
That's because Jacqueline allows it.
I know she does.
And she, yeah, you're totally right.
But Stacey arrives.
And I always get apprehensive when I hear this sentence on these shows.
It's my first girl's trip.
I'm like, something's going to go horribly wrong.
Yeah.
Because every time we get a first D for these trips,
which you've had a lot in the past few years.
surprising, right? But she is excited for her first girl's trip. It's going to be great. I'm really
excited. We find out Giselle's driving back, so she's leaving that night. And again, for me,
Giselle of the past, I'm thinking, all right, she's got an exit plan already. She's going to pop
off on Karen at dinner. She's going to go south and then she gets to drive home. So in my head,
I'm going, oh, foreshadowing. It's not. We find out later. I'm not going to jump too far ahead,
but it was just interesting to
I thought she was setting the stage
because that's what I'm used to
and that is not what we're getting this.
I shift my whole perspective on Giselle.
I'm always going to be still a little timid.
Fused about the timing of what she's doing.
She's going back,
but then she's coming back on Saturday?
Which I appreciate.
I do appreciate that she's coming back.
I appreciate that she went in the first place.
This is what we need.
We need housewife showing up
just because she's got her cap and gown ceremony
for Angel and the door the following morning.
So she's going to get back for that and then fly back to go back with the group.
That's insane.
But that's what you need from a center stage.
You know what should happen.
What?
Me, or I'm sorry, Jacqueline, should just go stay in Giselle's room.
That would make the most sense, of course.
Yes, that's not going to happen because...
For the first night?
No, because then she's too far away from Mia, and it's weird.
It's all weird.
Yeah.
But I like that we've got housewives going the extra distance to...
They're making the first night of the trip, and they're coming back for the rest.
That's what we need.
That's commitment, and that's what we need for this show.

We get a fucking bizarre argument.
One of the stranger ones I've seen.
Very weird.
Between Jacqueline and Jazzy and Jacqueline had made a comment on the airplane that had been
overheard and we went down the line and it was translated as someone's calling you Mia's
sidekick again.
Jazzy was calling you Mia's sidekick again.
What was actually said was this trip will be better because Mia has a better sidekick.
So now we have people vying for Mia's attention to be her sidekick, which I know damn well is music to Mia's ears.
Oh my God, it's pumping her ego up so high.
She is eating this shit up and she's like, everybody wants to be my sidekick.
Everybody wants to be my friend.
I'm the HBIC.
You bitches this don't know it yet.
But these two haven't figured out.
But it was so strange, too, because of the way that it started off, I kind of thought that Jazzy was being sarcastic and just gaslighting.
shit out of Jacqueline to see how crazy she was. But no, she was dead serious. She is Mia's
sidekick now. And Jacqueline, you can kick rocks. Jacqueline was hurt. Jacqueline was devastated,
absolutely devastated, looking at Mia like a lost puppy. Like, why are you not stepping in and saying
how important I am to you? Mia's sitting over there super fucking high. She's getting like, she's getting
off on this. Yeah, she's literally sitting on the other end, just smirking and smiling and like,
oh my God, this is fantastic. Jacqueline is out there on her own, trying to
defend herself for Mia's
sidekick. Nobody knows what the
fuck is going on. Karen and Giselle sitting at the other
in the table is hilarious. That's actually
if you go to our Instagram, that's our question picture
because I love that. The two of them sitting there
like, what's going on? Like, why are we doing
this? Are we arguing about this? And again,
I really thought that Jazzy was just
gaslighting Jacqueline into this. She was
dead serious. They were actually fighting
about who gets to vibe for Mia's
honor to be her sidekick. That was more
alarming, especially considering the weird
display we get from Jacqueline of standing up
saying, I'm the whole pack.
I'm the main course, honey.
I'm steak and lobster, honey.
I got the hair and the finesse and the intellect, honey.
And I'm like, oof, bro, you got to sit down.
This is not playing well at all.
Nobody's laughing.
Nobody's adding to it.
Kind of stumbling through it.
It's not smooth in the delivery.
So that makes it awkward.
And then you sit down and you get into this argument about side kickery.
And at the end of it, you say, I'm glad you're in her life because I'll always be
her number one. Okay, psycho.
Like, what a weird way to
end it after you just stood up and did
a pirouette and talked about how
you're the main package. And Jazzy was taking jabs
the entire time while you're talking. He said, from the neck
up. The neck up. Damn.
Like, you're getting
picked apart and then you
end it with, but I'm her number one.
It's like, just sit down. Somebody
make her sit down and stop
this. I'm uncomfortable at home.
That's what Jacqueline does very well. She makes me
uncomfortable. Yeah. You know what I mean?
Yeah, I don't like watching it.
No, I'm like, ooh, I don't feel good.
Yeah.
I feel strange.
I, like, it's almost like I want to feel sad for her, but you can't.
Like, don't like her.
Yeah, it's not.
It's like awkward by proxy.
Yeah.
And I can't stop watching.
I can't look away.
Yeah, it's like a train wreck.
Yeah.
Yeah, what the fuck is going on?
I can't stop watching this.
Yeah.
Ooh, I don't like it.
But she's not doing herself any favors.
And we find out that me as friends are coming for dinner,
some friends from the area.
And Stacey jumps in.
And I didn't know if this was a dig because of the side.
kick comment that's how I took it yeah or she's like oh you got to be friends with them too right
i was like damn like from the top rope like where the hell did that come from absolutely i love that
she's getting involved and she's also this is a good move because you're just piggyback in a little bit
oh yeah not driving the nail oceans are still running high too you know that if you poke that bear
she's going to continue yeah exactly you just watch that train record you're like i kind of want
a little bit more this is the easy way to do this you must be friends too right nope
then Mia does what we saw her do in Miami
and that's what she does with her friendship with Jacqueline
she just throws her under the bus she's like yeah
they were friends she was close with one of them
and then she exited the group chat so theatrically
just shitting on Jacqueline's like
Jacqueline this is repeat behavior
we've watched this cycle you get really upset at the end of all of this
I promise you you don't like where this goes
and yet you still sit here and take it as she bashes you
and then you're like surprised
when everyone at the table thinks that you're her sidekick
or one now you're her one
want to be sidekick. You're number two. That's even more embarrassing. It's honestly,
I felt immediately and thought back to Brittany and Jared Osmond. This is basically that.
It's a very, very toxic relationship. Mia is Jared Osmond. Mia is Jared Osmond. And
Brittany, well, I guess Jacqueline is Brittany. Yeah, I see that too. But Karen takes a chance here
to jump in as well because she's still upset about the quote unquote birthday inquisition that
she had, which again, no one really asked that many questions.
There's other things that she can do, too.
You can move on for the birthday inquisition.
Stop talking about it.
Nothing happens.
You can call Jacqueline out for saying that you were drunk on the phone the other night.
That's an easy segue into this.
Everybody's piling onto Jacqueline.
Let's just do it.
Yeah, but instead she goes the roundabout way and says,
oh, well, I've been nothing but friendly to Jacqueline, and I don't see her as a friend.
I'm like, okay, that came out of nowhere, but let's dive in.
Sure, why not?
and everyone at the table once again
knows what Karen's doing it's like
you're just deflecting now and Jacqueline's
your target because she outed you for calling
people drunk we've already heard
from Giselle she's not the only one that's
received one of these phone calls before you're clearly
defensive about it which again makes me think
that it happened and you still
refuse to talk about the elephant in the room
and Giselle even calls it out she stands up for
Jacqueline goes whoa whoa and which I'm glad she did
like Jacqueline is weirdly getting piled on
very quickly but she hasn't really
done anything yet.
Yeah.
Like this kind of came out of nowhere and then people are just like,
Stacey fucking jumped in.
It's like, okay, easy.
But I'm glad she did.
But there's just, she's getting it from every angle.
So I'm glad that Giselle pointed out what's going on.
She's like, well, you're just deflecting.
And then Karen in the scene starts just popping off.
And she's like, you're a fucking liar.
That's why I don't fuck with you.
And just drags Jacqueline to the point of tears.
And this is the problem with Jacqueline is.
she wants to be a mainstay,
she wants to be a standalone,
she wants all of these things,
but when push comes to shove,
she usually can't take the heat.
Not that I'm saying it's deserved,
but you're going to go under these attacks.
She needs to have a moment
where there's one of these battles.
Yeah.
And she steps up and doesn't get upset,
but says,
fuck this and fuck you and either walks away
or comes back with a good one-liner,
but we kind of see it deteriorate every time
and then she ends up in tears.
Yeah, and I think that she's just afraid
to step on anybody else's toes.
Like, she'll go after Jazzy because of wanting to be the sidekick for sure.
But you can tell when she said the comment that she was talking to Karen on the phone and she thought that Karen was drinking, she tried to reel it back in immediately.
So I think what's happening here is she feels bad that she let that slip because now the group has something to go after Karen for, but they can blame Jacqueline.
Okay.
And she's immediately public enemy number one, and she's afraid of Karen.
Okay.
So all of this unfolding probably helped her break down because she does regret saying it.
that's kind of what I took away from it, but again,
she shouldn't.
That's just fucking housewife one-on-one.
Like, you need to be able to, if you're going to throw that out there,
you need to be able to understand that it could come back at you.
It was a good move.
You didn't do anything wrong.
You made the right play.
You just can't get scared of Karen because she's being mean to you,
and she's being very mean.
And I'm glad Giselle points out she's the mean girl in this situation
because she's in tears, and she's like, you can cry.
I don't give a fuck.
I'm like, wow.
Cry until the cows come home?
I don't give a fuck.
I was like, Jesus, Karen.
Like, who's shit in your?
cereal this morning.
Like, what the hell's going on?
But moving
a late along, we find out that Ashley
is hosting shows to generate an
income, to maintain her lifestyle.
We see Stacy and
Kearna moving into the bunk bed room.
Stacy is stoked about the bunk beds,
which actually changes Kearna's opinion of the
bunk beds. Now she's like, you know what?
I'm going to change my attitude too. I'm like, see, positivity's
infectious. Love that. It works.
Just be happy. Starts with Wendy's room and trickles
on down. That's what happens. Just be happy.
positivity is cool.
Yep.
Yeah.
Where was I?
Oh, I just wrote down that I like this duo.
I like Kearna and Stacey.
I think that they, I don't mind when newcomers link up.
And they're both Karen friends too.
Yeah.
So I think that that could work out pretty well.
They fall under the same umbrella.
Yeah, that's a good point.
That's a really good point.
But Mia and Jacqueline are chit-chatting in their own room, in their bathroom, I think.
And you're not helping the situation.
especially, I think that I would do so many favors for Jacqueline
if she got ready in someone else's bathroom
or anywhere else in house.
Yeah.
Just do your, like, help yourself.
You know what I mean?
Although maybe she thinks she is helping herself
because she just had it out with Jazzy about being a sidekick.
And now she's sidekicking?
In the bathroom with Mia, so she thinks she won.
She's like, I don't know.
In her brain, she's like, I won.
You're not in the bathroom with us, Jazzy.
as he's in her own bathroom somewhere, just enjoying herself.
But yeah.
It's very strange.
But it's all deflection.
We all see it.
And I do think that Jacqueline's getting the short end of the stick here.
But we get to Karen and Stacey.
And this is, she might be having a weird year.
And she's handling the DUI like shit.
But this is why Karen is great on TV because she's sitting there talking to Stacey.
Even after Stacey opens up, it says, it's been really tough.
It's been.
It's been.
it'll never not make me laugh.
Fuck, now I get, then I get derailed.
No, no.
She was talking to Karen about how these months have been tough on her
just because she's going to the divorce
and they're still living at home
and the time has finally come to tell Arabella
that her and her husband are getting divorced
because they have mediation next week,
so it's starting to become real.
So, of course, when someone tells you something like that,
it breaks down a little bit, they're emotional.
the best thing to do is tell them
that the entire group thinks you're boring.
I can get your mind off of that really quick.
Everybody here thinks you're boring as shit.
Your fashion sucks.
You're just a real stick in the mud.
You're bringing nothing to the table.
They don't even want to talk to you.
Yeah, you're lucky I'm talking to you because you know what?
They're right.
You are boring.
I'm tired from this conversation.
I don't want to get your boring stink on me.
I'm boring by association.
Now, get out of it.
You know what I'm done with you.
It was very strange, but that's what Karen's good for
because she alludes to the.
the fact that the whole group has been discussing this,
which we really haven't seen.
We've seen Mia and Karen discuss it.
I guess they might have talked about it a little bit of breakfast, allegedly.
Maybe Ashley is also kind of on the defensive.
She's going to say whatever the fuck she wants to say.
Like, we know that.
That carries no weight.
No.
She's going to jump side to side and say whatever the hell she wants.
She always does.
But it was just a funny move to say something after somebody opens up to you that they're
not doing great.
It's like, that's fine because you're also boring.
So add that to the list.
Yeah.
But we get to the boat ride, and Ashley and Kiana's issue from last season comes up.
As we know, Kiana got in an altercation with one of Ashley's friends.
It was on...
Messamy Street.
Yeah, it was a whole fucking mess.
Hopefully, she's never back on our screens.
She's pressing charges, D.C. press charges.
It was a big deal, and it's not something to be taken lightly.
But she says that her and Ashley haven't reconnected or moved forward from it.
I didn't get the vibe that it's insurmountable.
No.
I think there's a lot of ground that needs to be made up and they need to figure it out.
And it comes from Ashley taking accountability for her role in it.
I don't know if she will, though, because that's, I mean, her Sesame Street friend was involved in the Chris Bassett thing.
She's involved in all the bad shit.
She's always one degree of separation away.
It would go a long way if Ashley could at least recognize that she has some responsibility to take in this.
And just move forward and not do the typical Ashley thing saying she's a grown woman.
She can do whatever she wants.
Debra got involved with you.
that's not my fault.
No, you kept bringing your weird-ass friends around
trying to get them into the spotlight,
and it resulted in this.
So this is your fault.
You do need to take some responsibility,
and it would go such a long way,
not only with Kiarna,
not only with the rest of the group,
but also for the viewers,
because we're tired of your stupid schick.
They even call it out,
as they're sitting there talking about Ashley.
Like, you know, she's the queen of the,
what is it?
The queen of the after apology,
which she is.
She fucks up,
doesn't take accountability.
Push comes to shove,
and she gives a half-ass sorry after the fact
and says,
we are good, though, right?
we can move on.
So I don't want there to be underlying tension in the group that could lead to separation
in the group.
Right.
You know what I mean?
I'm fine with underlying tension that gets addressed and you might drag it out for a few episodes,
this and that.
Let's not forget the biggest issue on this show the past couple of seasons was people refusing
to talk and film with one line.
And I think that they're doing a good job.
And I guess producers have talked to them or whatever might have happened or at least talk
to the two mainstays.
Because even though Karen's doing all this, Giselle is making an impact to make sure.
that they do not separate.
Yes.
No matter what.
It doesn't matter
what the topic of conversation
is.
We're not separating.
And if you do that
and you keep Wendy happy,
which they're doing pretty well right now,
everything should be fine
because it's okay if you get
Mia and Ashley and Kiarna and Stacy
and whatever,
all of them at odds.
As long as your mainstays on the show
are still going to be together,
you'll be okay and you're going to be in a much better position.
So I think that they did have a really good conversation
about that in the off season
and getting rid of Robin obviously helps a lot too.
So look,
If they keep going down this path, it'll work,
and I'm okay with the little fights that are going to happen.
There's going to be little fights,
and then Mia will inevitably separate herself from the group by some outlandish shit.
But you need that, too.
You just don't need to have two separate factions that will not converse with each other,
because that's boring as shit.
But this is when we start talking about the post of Inc. G. Kids and Mia at Lake Norman for New Year's, I believe.
And look, above all else, if the family,
family's cool, the kids are cool, and they're happy with this dynamic, it is not for anybody
to fucking say.
There's different familial setups, whatever works for you, is fine.
That's not what I'm concerned about.
Yeah, I don't give a shit.
My concern is there seems to be a lot of outstanding issues with this whole thing.
The paternity test is G comfortable with it.
And that's not saying, like, gee, is this great dude that like, oh, we got to make sure
G is okay.
it's just more so
this is so fucking weird
and the fact that we're not talking about
how fucking weird it is is fucking weird.
Like they need to discuss the fact
that G is concerned
about this paternity test being taken
because he probably doesn't want to know.
No.
Right?
And now you're having him stay in the same house
as Ink.
Y'all are still married.
We're not talking about that either.
And we don't really know
what the setup with Ink is.
Are you guys like full-blown dating?
Like they're together, right?
So they're together, so what does that mean for G?
Like, what does that mean for the divorce?
What is the, when is the divorce coming?
Is there going to be a divorce?
Is there going to give us the runaround?
Like, we can't divorce because of finances.
We get that one of the shows, which doesn't make any sense to me,
to sign something that you don't, like, he does his shit and you do your shit.
I don't know.
Not lawyers.
But the fact that we're talking about this, we see a picture of the whole family together,
smiling at Lake Norman, and yet we still haven't had a discussion with me involved
where it's like, hey, this is fucking.
bizarre, dude. Can we discuss how weird this is and get to the bottom of it?
I don't think we're going to do that, though, just because of how Mia has handled things in the
past, and I'm sure that everybody else on the cast realizes this, no matter what you do,
no matter how weird the situation is with Mia, if you ask her a question, point blank,
about how weird a situation is, she's going to make it sound normal.
She's going to say...
No, she's going to try to. It's going to sound even worse.
It's going to sound even worse to us, but she doesn't give a shit.
She just really doesn't care.
If she thinks that it's normal and she has convinced herself that it's normal,
Ink, G, the kids could be completely at odds with the entire thing, but Mia isn't.
She's not going to do anything about it.

Seriously.
That's crazy.
I don't know.
But Kiana asked Stacey about her alleged.
new man. She heard through the grapevine, i.e. Ashley was talking about it. Hey, I heard
something's going on with that. And Stacey was like, yeah, I didn't appreciate Ashley's energy
bringing this whole thing up. And then Ashley hears it. And Ashley's always good for this.
And I do appreciate that about her. Like, she won't shy away from the confrontation. Like, if she
hears her name, she's going to jump right in. So she walks to the back of the boat and says,
look, I wasn't trying to be an asshole. And after watching the scene back, I don't think she was either.
I think she may have overstepped only because of the place that Stacey is in currently in her life,
where she's trying to come to terms of the fact of her marriage failing.
I think that's hitting her hard.
This new man that she's with, she can't fully date yet.
I don't know if that's a him thing or a her thing.
Just because they're technically still married does not mean you can't start your relationship.
I don't know if that goes into the religious thing for this guy.
I'm not sure.
I would imagine he can't date somebody that's betrothed to somebody else.
Is his name Kurt?
no Kurt is it Kurt I don't know it's not Kurt I would remember Kurt seems
Kurt seems fitting let's call him Kurt Kurt Kurt I like Kurt until we're told
otherwise yeah I'll fuck which we were last episode but right now you are Kurt Kurt I definitely
don't forget Greg no no love Greg love you Greg love you Greg runs a mental health
facility I love Greg Greg's the best shut out Greg we'd talk about that earlier but yeah
fuck yeah Greg we're Greg stands over here yeah we really are and look we just had a
conversation what we need shirts that just say Greg yeah add it to the list
Greg shirts but no I I really do and we just talked about this with Ashley she's the queen
of the after apology I didn't really have any problem with this because I do see both sides
I do too I fully see both sides where Stacy is trying to say to Ashley look you were you spent
a lot of time with me we connected I told you pretty much my whole story and you still felt
it necessary to and Ashley does this she puts a little snake
on it. She acts like she didn't. She just said friend. We know what you mean. Everybody at the
table knew what you meant by friend. That's not up for debate at all. Ashley cannot say that.
But Ashley is on a reality TV show. Right. I'm sorry. But you got to share some things and you
got to tell the rest of the crew what's going on. It's not that big of a deal. Not that deep.
But it's okay to me that she did apologize and say, look, I didn't understand where you were coming
from. I understand now that you wanted to keep it under wraps a little bit more because of your
situation and I get that. That's okay.
That's on me for saying that. I'm good with that
apology. Stacey apologizes too
for... Stacey apologizes back. But then takes
it. They get her. Yeah. Well, that's okay.
It's good. It was good because she apologized and she goes,
yeah, but you say we just
met, we spent a lot of times together
like you just pointed out. And then
you had your bunions up on my
countertops, marble countertops. I was like, yeah,
you don't have to do that. No.
That has nothing to do with any of you. You don't talk about...
She did it in a way that, like, seemed to me
as if she was using it as an example of them getting closer?
We're close.
Your bunions were on my, where I eat my food.
Oh, we were cool.
Your bunions were next to my onions.
Come on.
Hey, yo.
Damn it.
Nice.
I'll take it, whatever.
The funny thing is, Mia.
I think Mia is on, I think she started off mellow, and I think we're about to get full-throttled Mia.
This is what happens, though, when she plans these fucking trips.
It's when it goes off the rails.
Yeah.
She seems to be or think that she is like the main character that she starts to get a little bit messy.
Even in a confessional, she's like, I don't think Stacey's been celibate for a year.
It's like, I think that what we know from Stacey now, that's not a good comment to make.
No.
She's very protective of her family.
She's very protective of her new relationship.
And you just accused her of cheating on this new man that she's not even with yet.
I don't think that's going to sit well, especially considering Ashley got in trouble for just saying she had a new family.
friend.
Yeah.
And you just implied that she's banging somebody in this line.
But Mia doesn't give a shit.
If Stacy were to go after me, Mia would not care.
Oh, she would laugh at her.
Yeah.
You know, but that would be a good deal.
Maybe that would bring out the most in Stacy.
Because I think Stacy, look.
Got to activate her.
She is, she's, like we said earlier, she's very buttoned up, professional.
But she has not gotten to where she's gotten in life by being a pushover.
So I would imagine she can stand her ground and go toe to toe.
And I'm looking forward to that if we get that out of her.
And I think that you get that out of her by not respecting her.
Yeah, I mean, we're watching her in real time figure everything out, which is typically what we like to see from newbies.
Don't come off too strong.
Try to figure everything out.
Maybe you get punched once, and then you just kind of take it and roll with it.
So I think she's trying to piece things together.
She's doing a good job.
I love to see if she can perform a little bit later, but I do agree with you.
She's got something in there.
There's got to be something in there that's stood out to not only the casting agents, but also for her life.
Yeah.
I think there's, I think we're going to get more.
I have high hopes for Stacy, so I hope she doesn't like.
It's us enjoying a show.
I know, it's so nice.
Isn't this nice, guys?
We're not saying you're shitting on things.
Yeah.
We're for the fucking Roney recap.
Oh, man.
Why'd you have to do that?
But we were having such a good time.
Everything was so nice.
It was all so nice.
We weren't talking about seasonal depression or daylight savings or Roney.
And here we are.
But we take a huge left turn out of nowhere.
And I guess not out of nowhere because we are technically talking about Stacey.
But Karen's like, all right, ladies, we need to talk about something.
everybody thinks you're boring ladies chime in at least she gave her a heads up alone on the deck
before doing this on the boat yeah you're right so it didn't like hit her completely it's like
she said and again we've heard mea say this yeah i guess they they point to them talking about it
at a breakfast i didn't see that part but mia speaks up and goes you know we all had a convo
this morning and we all agreed you're just
just a little boring.
This gave me higher hopes for Stacey because she was such a good sport about it.
She was a little taken aback, gave her side of it.
Like, this is how I am.
If you're not going to call me boring because I'm positive on this, blah, blah, blah.
She didn't do what Jacqueline did.
She didn't say she's the whole meal.
She didn't stand up and do a very strange performance.
And then sit down and completely retract and say, but I'm still your number one.
Mia, look at me.
Mia, look at me.
You make eye contact with me.
Look at me.
But we get to the dinner.
And it is.
It's a nice setup.
The boat ride was nice.
The house is nice.
Yeah, it's a wacky setup in the basement.
I don't get why people get so bent out of shape about bunk beds and foosball tables.
Especially at a lake house.
Oh, I'll stay down.
We would state.
Are you kidding me?
I would be top bunk.
That was when Stacey was walking around at the basement.
Yeah.
When Stacey's walking around in the basement, she stops, she's looking for a bathroom, stops dead in her tracks and goes, oh, Pac-Man.
That's the correct response.
That is the correct response.
Yeah, bunk beds, Pac-Man.
Hell yeah.
Buck beds, arcade games and table games.
I'm good for the weekend, and I'll walk out the back to the lake and fish.
I'll be sleeping on the couch, by the way.
Yeah, it's awesome.
Yeah, exactly.
Fucking be happier about it.
Come on.
Yeah, come on.
But since Giselle's got a time limit, she brings up the event versus the award show immediately to Karen.
And she says, I've been an utmost friend to you.
And from what we've seen from Giselle, she has been pretty great to Garen.
She's been forgiving.
She's been understanding.
She's not pressing her too hard about the DUI, even though she probably should.
should. And she says to her, I'm not feeling any reciprocation from you.
Yeah. Of course, Karen deflects and says, I took every measure not to double book. I didn't
even know when the award show was. Cut back. And she says, yeah, the award show was Friday
morning. It was not. It was Friday evening. But she took every single measure. And she needed her
friends there too. She did nothing to apologize, nothing to take any form of accountability. She
tried to deflect and make excuses. And it was a terrible performance from Karen. And I'm
sitting here going, here we go. It was actually the opposite
of an apology because she said, I am not
going to take responsibility for your behavior.
Correct. She is saying, you owe me
an apology, more or less, and everybody else. I don't even think
she was asking for an apology. She was just saying, hey,
I didn't like your behavior about kicking all those
ladies out at the show that I was going to
go to. Yeah. But I didn't go.
Yeah. And I was never going to go. And I'm not sorry.
And I'm not sorry. Yeah. So I'm
thinking Karen, or sorry, Giselle is going to be
like, all right, here we go.
Uh-huh. No.
Jizel goes, you know what?
we're going to let it go.
We're going to move forward.
I need you to give back what I'm giving to you in friendship.
Can you do that?
Karen says, oh, of course I can do that.
And it's squashed.
We can work on our communication.
I agree with that.
Totally.
Wow.
And period.
Mature.
Yep.
And Giselle's out.
I got to go back.
I got to head back to Potomac.
I'll see you guys later.
That's crazy.
It is fucking insane for something that we thought was going to be built up as Karen
versus Giselle.
Yes.
Here we go.
This is just the start of it.
They're going to be doing things, very petty things.
each other all season, and this is going to be
the new dynamic duo
going against each other. Nope.
No, Giselle... Squash it right away.
But to have somebody at the center,
and I would argue Giselle
is the mainstay right now,
keeping this whole show together,
you need that. You need to be able to move forward
with the OGs. You need to be able to bring in the
newcomers and also throw a little shit towards them
to get them involved. She's doing...
It was crazy. She's doing great. It was great. I couldn't believe it.
This had the makings of potentially
being main storyline. And a disaster, and we sidestepped it.
Was resolved. Thank God. I would be a terrible. I wouldn't want to talk about this all season.
So for her to recognize that, put a pin in it, move on from it. I was like, hell yeah.
But I don't even know if it was like, in my mind, it wasn't one of those things that I thought
was going to drag on and drag on and drag on and we were never going to get past it.
I thought it was going to evolve into a much bigger thing. And it was going to be a main
storyline that we were going to talk about, not going to have to talk about begrudgingly.
Oh, I got you. I thought it was going to be a big thing that was going to be a big thing that was
going to make the season.
And it disappeared.
Yeah, it's done.
And I just didn't know what to do with myself.
It can come back up because it wasn't really resolved, so to speak.
It was more so just Giselle saying, we'll drop it.
Yeah.
But I didn't know what to think.
I didn't either.
I was flabbergasted.
It was crazy.
But Mia's friends all joined the party, and it's almost as though she told them to come prepared with stories.
Well, they showed up, and some of them were wearing, like, bridesmaid's dresses.
I don't know what the fuck was going on.
I don't know.
I don't know.
The fashion was fashion, but when they sit down and me, it's like, tell a funny story about me.
I'm like, that's a bizarre thing to say.
Wendy's birthday weekend.
It's crazy.
Tell a funny story about me.
Yeah.
What a weird thing to say to the table.
You have two sidekicks, two people fighting it out to be your sidekicks.
That's not enough?
Yeah.
He's got to ask people to tell funny stories about you.
And the first story was, one, disgusting, two, not funny, and three clearly planted.
Hey, tell that story about when ink licked by feet.
Why are we talking about that?
I don't want, you want us to like this guy.
And we're hearing about how at a dinner table he pulled your feet up and licked not one, but two toes.
In between my two toes.
Oh, God.
Come on.
I don't need to hear that.
I don't need to picture that.
I don't want to talk about it.
And here I am talking about it.
Why is your friend saying that that's the funniest moment she's had with you?
If that, like, if this shit went down at the dinner table with you and I and other people there, I would call the police.
I'd call the cops.
I would call William over and say, security.
Get them out.
Get these creeps out of here.
I don't want to eat my food.
now.
Yeah.
That's not a funny story.
And then the next funny story is from Ashley with two E's, not Ashley with the Y.
Ashley E.
This is Ashley E, the friend of Mia.
And she says that she knew this was so cringy.
This, like, Jacqueline is the cringiest I think I've seen in a long time.
It was brutal.
It was really tough.
It made me, like, cold sweat, honestly, because Ashley just says, oh, you know, I've known,
I think she was setting up her story, too.
She didn't even tell her story.
She's like, I've known her for a long time, like 14.
years now, like when she was getting married to G
or getting ready for her wedding,
that wasn't a flex, that was
a preamble to her story.
Helping her pick out wedding shoes.
Yes, like she was getting to the story.
Jacqueline decides to jump in and go,
well, I've known her way before that.
I knew her the longest.
We've known each other for so long.
You guys wouldn't even believe it.
I knew her before she was born,
and she's older than me.
So make that make sense.
I love you, Mia, heart hand.
any heart hands across the table.
So fucking weird.
Maybe you're going to throw up.
Here's the thing, too.
We know what you're doing.
You're trying to, like, stand up in front of all of me as friends that just came up
and you're still feeling, you're still reeling from that.
You're feeling, you're reeling.
You're doing a lot of shit, a lot of ealing.
And you're sitting up there doing all of this.
Jacqueline, you were introduced to us before, and you have done this.
We've got it.
Entire spiel.
Understand how TV works.
We've already seen this.
We don't want to see it again.
We don't need a recap.
Especially if you're trying to try to.
to stand alone as you claim and not be me a sidekick but what i didn't see coming and i should
have in some capacity was mea telling and i it makes sense now i should tell a funny story about me
it's all setting up this payoff where she's like hmm by the way we have a funny story karen
because that night that we went all and the best part is i think her name was joy yeah so karen joy
and mea all went out the best part is in a previous confessional karen pointed out how much
much fun they had that night.
Little did she know that she butt-dye.
This is the year of the butt-dial, by the way.
Yeah, really is.
A lot of butt-dial drama going on.
But she butt-dialed, allegedly.
Karen and Joy.
Sorry, Karen butt-dialed Mia and Joy.
And she says, we heard you say something.
They're both giggling, and it comes out.
And she says, we heard you say, the girls think I'm with Ray.
So then to be continued, we'll see you next week.
But speculation.
We've heard about the blue-eyed man, the driver, allegedly.
Yep.
We've heard about some potential happenings throughout the area.
This is nothing new, but every time it comes up, Karen is steadfast that she would never step out on Ray, and how dare you bring this up?
And Mia's brought up the blue-eyed guy before, so she's taking this route again.
Now, I'm apprehensive about this because I don't want to do this again if we have no evidence this time.
I don't think it's going to be the payoff that I don't think so either I think it's going I think
Karen's going to say that she got picked up by a friend or whatever and then went out somewhere
else yeah I don't think it's going to be and that's okay if it's quick and done what I don't
want to do this again which is fine and then we'll move on to something else don't don't do the
thing where it's oh now we're trying to figure out if Karen's cheating or not we're still not
even getting Karen talking about her fucking DUI it's but at least here's the the difference
with that at least the group is pressing about it
Yes.
Because in other shows we've seen, where there's a big issue we want to talk about, i.e. Jen Shaw, but nobody asks her about the lawsuits.
At least people keep bringing it up and making Karen go, I'm not talking about that.
The truth will prevail. I will see who my real friends are. They're probably going to be wearing orange jumpsuits at this point because you're not addressing the fact that this is not going to play well either.
No.
Like when you're doing your criminal court case, I would imagine the prosecution is going to be like, look, judge, she doesn't even feel bad.
She's blaming it on a deer.
But why don't we get to some questions?
From Journey 7526, what do you think Wendy contributes to the show besides her career issues?
I won't knock Wendy this season.
I've had issues with her in most seasons in the past because I agree it's been confusing what she's contributing.
She gets involved in a lot of the nonsense.
I like this version of Wendy a lot.
So what she's doing right now may not seem like she's doing a lot.
I'm okay with it for the time being, and I'm curious how she's going to get involved
because she will.
She's a big personality.
She's not going to stay on the sidelines the whole season.
How she enters the drama is going to be very telling on how I'm going to enjoy this season from her.
But for the time being, I've liked what I've seen from her.
Yeah, I would agree with all of that.
From Amy B. 526, is Karen losing her status as a top housewife with her decision to act
like a victim with her DUI. 100% yes. Yeah. And I would say that it's two different things going
on right now. Giselle is taking it. Yeah. Giselle is performing. Giselle is making sure that
everybody is up to snuff pretty much across the board. She's enjoyable. She's very enjoyable. She's
having a good time, it seems. She's sharing more about her life. Yeah. She's sharing more on the
screen. She's not just like meddling behind people's backs. She's not. Her whole storyline is not
other people's lives right now. Yeah. No, she's doing a great job. And that is making her rise to the
top while Karen is taking a tumble.
Aaron's tumbling.
Yes, I would agree.
That would honestly be like the funniest dig if somebody like towards the end of the season
makes a tiara or a crown and crowns Giselle like the new Grand Dame and just watch
her and help down.
She's not going to cop to a DUI.
I don't give a shit.
Yeah, that would be hilarious.
From Rachel Mickelis, could Jacqueline being jealous that she wasn't made a full-time
housewife impact the drama?
I don't think that Jacqueline has it in her to do that.
I don't think she, I definitely.
Why would they make her a full-
time housewife. What does she bring? She does nothing. She's a side kick, which is a friend of.
And she, this episode had the chance to separate from that and instead backpedaled very, very
quickly. So I don't know. I don't know what the hell she does. Yeah. We'll do two more here.
From Beth Loves Beer 18. Nice. Why are we just forgetting how awful Wendy was last season? A lot of Wendy
hate in the question. A lot of Wendy hate. Look. We're forgetting last season entirely, actually.
Yeah. We're actually forgetting the last three seasons of Potomac.
So we're doing this clean slate.
Yeah, this is like a new show.
Yeah, for us, genuinely, for us,
and I think that the audience at large should attempt to approach it like this.
The last three seasons, especially the last two, were fucking disasters.
Yeah.
This is the cast that we've been presented with this season.
So let's take this cast as a new crew, see what they can do together,
see how Wendy fits into the group with this group.
I'm not going to damnify anybody.
I didn't, I fucking hated Mia for years.
I'm still going to root for a good season and for a good season out of Mia.
Like, I need everyone to perform for the show's sake.
So I'm not looking at Wendy going, your past transgressions, this or that.
It is what it is.
We're here now.
The show's enjoyable.
Stop trying to ruin it.
No, I mean, for Wendy specifically, she's not really doing anything.
But I'm okay with it.
But we're okay with that because she's in a better place.
She was just playing defense, and she's really bad at playing defense.
Well, then she tries to play off us.
Then she's really rude and mean to people.
Yeah, so if she's not doing any of those things, then she's okay.
Yeah, she's one of the most condescending people have seen an argument.
It's baffling, honestly.
And that's, look, that's the thing.
It's in there somewhere and it'll come out eventually.
But, yeah, don't try to poke holes in this season.
It's good for now.
Just let it be good for a while.
And the last one here from Chrissy Judd-Lickey.
Are the bros down for bunk beds on a guy's trip?
Absolutely.
100%.
Yes, are you kidding me.
We had bunk beds in our hotel room in New York.
We've done bunk beds already in the past year.
So, yeah, we get the Yotel.
That's right.
Yotel.
No free ads, but yeah, we opened up our room, and it was comically small with two hospital beds stacked on top of each other.
That was our room in New York City.
Yeah.
Lovely.
Living the highlight, that podcast life, you know?
Hell yeah.
It's real glamorous.
We should start doing a day in the life.
Yeah.
Our next show.
Yeah, we'll just.
This is what it looks like.
Vlog all day.
It actually sounds kind of fun.
Maybe we will do that.
But it's a great time to be a Bravo fan.
We have a lot going on.
The Beverly Hills premiere is rapidly approaching.
We got a Doreet and Kyle standoff this season, which that's literally the only thing that could save Dorete in my mind.
So this is a great time for us.
We're very excited.
And yeah, we got a lot of shows coming back.
So buckle up, bros.
Hell yeah.
You got anything else?
Nope.
Rob bros are out of here.
