Bros & Shows - My Nanny Knows How to Make a Roux! (In The City Full Recap S1E9)
Episode Date: July 16, 2026What's up bros? We've made it to the finale of In The City and the question has to be asked: have we seen the end of Amanda Batula? The likely answer is No but for us we'd prefer moving forward with a... promising show without a boring cast mate that brings everyone's moods down. Either way, we focus more on the rest of the cast and all of the positives they bring to the show. Let's hope we can continue more in this direction for all of our sakes. I saw my friend on the other side of the street.
I was heading to school with the kids.
I let go of mom's hand to wave.
I had already forgotten their lunches.
I ran over to hug her.
She came out of nowhere.
And then...
It stopped.

The Hulu Original Series Furious is coming to Disney Plus.
Starring Emmy Rossum, Furious follows FBI agent Alice Black on the hunt for a mysterious and calculating serial killer.
Both walk their own paths toward justice, and as their lives start to intertwine,
the line between right and wrong begins to blur.
Don't miss the three-episode premiere of the Hulu original series Furious on July 27th,
only on Hulu on Disney Plus.
Well, that officially wraps up in the city season number one.
And I think we got a good show on our hands.
I think that this has some surreal promise if it can survive life without the Kyle Amanda West shit.
I think we successfully ended the season, started the season, got through the middle of the season, and ended the season squashing all beef, finding resolution.
Is that?
I mean, Amanda and Kyle aside, everything else kind of went full circle.
What else can he ask for in nine episodes?
Yeah.
As there's a drive in a deep left field by Castellanos.
Oh man, it's 8 o'clock.
And so that'll make it a...
I don't need the spotlight.
I shine just fine.
Hi, I'm karma.
And yes, I am a bitch.
Brov Bros.
Good evening, everybody.
Welcome back to another episode of Brav Bros.
Your favorite podcast from the Bros.
For everybody.
For whoever wants to listen,
I'm your co-steel Russell, joined as always for the last time.
I hope now we got reunions too, but in your Goots, in the Goots.
What's up, dude?
Somebody suggested Goots in the city or.
Sounds like a Disney movie.
Yeah, it does.
It really does.
It sounds like the third goofy movie almost, but now his name's Goosey.
Yeah.
We're going to go with that.
This, yeah, I know.
Tell me.
Well, you know how.
Brainstorm this.
You know how Disney works.
That's stolen already.
As soon as it comes out of my mouth, it's gone.
Yeah, it's a ball again.
Um, this will be the last time that I will be podcasting from this room.
I've been moving all week and, uh, boy,
my tired.
Holy shit.
There is too much to do.
But I'll have a fun little studio.
Well, maybe not tomorrow because I'm probably not going to have the energy to build a studio.
But who knows?
We've seen weirder things.
Very weird.
Manic episodes happen, you know?
Manic episodes happen.
Yeah, I've got my setup, uh, because shooter moved further away.
So since we're usually doing remote now, I, I, I remodeled the stew.
and now I've got my little accent wall up here,
which I'm pretty proud of.
There's a lot there that you can't see, but.
That's actually even funnier.
Isn't that funny?
It was just about to say, like, yeah, I'm a little jealous of that.
So I got to make my own thing.
But then, you know, you've got a top shelf that we can't even see.
It's just for you.
Well, that just depends on where I want to put my camera.
Maybe some days I'll switch it up.
Maybe I'll sit over on the couch.
You haven't seen the room yet, by the way.
It's a vibe.
What if you just did a whole podcast where you're like standing up,
but like kind of standing over?
us and talking to us.
Hold on. Check this shit out.
I'm pretty proud of it.
Right?
Wow.
I know.
Cozy like L.A. in the 70s vibe.
Wow.
That's really nice.
Now I'm really jealous.
I feel like all I'm going to have is just like a desk and it's going to look cool.
It's going to have, I'm going to have a shelf.
But then when I do the pan, there's nothing there.
There may be some workout equipment.
That might be it.
But either way, where the hell were we?
A Peloton.
Yeah.
Yeah.
I don't think a bunch of a Pelotog guy.
I was thinking about doing.
People buy them that become furniture.
No one, like, uses them for an extended period of time.
We did.
We got one during COVID.
And I will give a credit.
Dev used it during COVID.
But as soon as COVID was over, it just became like a coat hanger.
Yeah.
Yeah.
That kind of checks out.
What are we talking about?
In the city.
In the city.
Wow.
You know what?
Actually, first, before we even talk about it in the city, did you see the West and
Amanda TikTok?
because everybody thinks that Amanda's pregnant.
Oh, I've heard the rumors.
I didn't see the TikTok.
I saw the, it's the dress, right?
The dress is giving flowy, potentially maternal.
It's that.
And then I guess there was a picture from the wedding that people started speculating
that maybe Amanda was pregnant.
Then she took a picture in what looks like the same dress.
Now, I think it was the same night that the picture was posted like five days later
with her and a horse.
And again, people were speculating, oh, maybe she's pregnant.
Maybe they knew what they were doing.
But then they really leaned into it with West doing a new TikTok,
which he hasn't done a TikTok.
He's only gotten two TikToks out there since all of this broke.
And it was him with Sophie Cunningham addressing his nudes,
thinking that was going to be cool.
And every single comment was just basically fuck you.
And then him and Amanda posting this TikTok where she's walking around the grocery store,
picking up like a bunch of pickles, a bunch of ice cream or whatever.
The funny thing, a little byproduct that I thought of.
Yeah, they were leading into.
the pregnancy thing, which is kind of fucked up when you think about it, because if you go back
to last season on Summerhouse, when Sierra and Paige both took pregnancy tests to like make
a man to feel better, now she's making fun of it.
Kind of fucking shitty, but, you know, tracks, definitely tracks.
I do completely tracks.
The funny thing that I thought of is also you're accused of being a lazy stoner.
If you're walking around the grocery store getting a bunch of ice cream and a bunch of pickles,
like you're just a lazy stoner.
So, I mean, it does track again.
Once again, tracks.
Tracks times two.
So, yeah, they're trying to weasel the way out of this one by making jokes.
It's probably not going to work.
But it goes hand in hand with the end of this episode where she once again twists it into,
oh, everybody just fucking hates me.
Again, it's not Kyle that's doing anything good and, you know, helping and leaning into
the marketing of the whole thing.
It's because, which she's not wrong.
But of course, once again, one last time she has to take it away from Kyle.
So just a little update there, West and Amanda.
still suck.
Shocker.
I don't know.
I mean, I don't know what the correct route is.
It's probably like just fuck off for a couple years.
It's fuck off for like a year, honestly.
Minimum.
Very short attention spans and, you know, hope that maybe a new version of TikTok
comes out with even shorter videos and you might be able to come back in like six months,
but you fuck off for a year.
They don't do anything.
Like, nothing that they're doing is going to be beneficial for that.
Like if they fucked off for a year and then popped up as normal people,
in like two years, we still wouldn't like you,
but you would have a better reception that,
like,
they're just reigniting people's hatred
by putting shit like that out.
Like you're just reminding people like,
oh,
wait,
no,
they still are shitty people.
It's just a very strange.
Could you imagine if Tom and Raquel
started posting a bunch of TikToks with each other?
Or like,
obviously we know that Tom started doing all of his band stuff
and he was just posting that and still doing the tour,
which was kind of funny at the time.
In hindsight,
it's pretty well for him.
Yeah,
it's really fun.
funny now, but it also worked out for him because people were buying tickets to go to the show
just to boo him, but he was still making money. So it really worked out. Well, that's, that's the
blueprint right there. But could you imagine if that was the same light and instead of just Tom
on stage, it was also him posting TikToks and Raquel was in the front? Like, that's pretty much
what we're watching right now. That would be awful. I mean, it is. That's exactly what we're watching.
It's just, again, I don't understand the thought process. How do you think that this is going
to help your image or you're trying to give the the impression like oh we don't care but you do
you care a lot i know amanda cares in west all he wants is people to like him so he's really up shits
sheds creek it just doesn't somebody needs to take their phones and just be like hey guys like
go spit in each other's mouth for a while and oh wait a minute we can further the rumors maybe
Amanda spit booze into West's mouth because she's pregnant and can't drink but just wanted to taste
and West didn't want to waste any alcohol. Yeah, that works for me. Every time that we talk about this,
somebody has to comment. It was an olive pit as if it makes it any better. Yeah, okay. Gross. I would argue
that's grosser because you're spitting food into each other's mouth. I would prefer a liquid.
Yeah, I don't know if I prefer a liquid, to be honest. I, I, that's a real question. Liquid or solid. If someone
spits in your mouth. Do you want it to be liquid or solid? And do you want them to tell you it's raining?
Liquid or solid is also problematic right now with the explosive diarrhea parasite going around.
That shit's crazy. What a weird time to live in. I swear to God, there's more and more evidence
daily that we're in a simulation. And by the way, odds are if ever there was a simulation created
to the extent of which we are in, the likelihood of us being in a simulation would be like,
99.99% because there would be far more simulations than there are actual realities.
There would be one reality, which each one would have its own simulation potentially,
which means we could do a simulation.
I don't think we're in a simulation.
I think we're in some sort of like carefully cultivated biome that some higher entities just testing things
out.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
And somebody's just testing things out like, oh, yeah, this is potentially good virus.
or we have this virus, let's send it into the biome and see what happens.
Let's try explosive diarrhea this month.
Yeah, yeah, it's just kind of a fun thing.
Or we're on a game show.
Maybe we're on some sort of, we're on, oh, wow, how meta would that be?
If we're on a reality TV show for a different entity and we're covering our own reality TV show,
what does that make us?
Do you think we'll get called up to the big leagues?
I think that we have a better chance of getting something if we're commenting on reality
within their reality.
Like that's,
that's meta as fuck.
Dude,
we're metamax.
All the kids are saying it these days.
What are we talking about?
Oh,
in the city.
Clivoculars, supposedly clavicular is like
sitting down with BB Netanyahu
talking about how to looks back.
Yeah,
probably.
What a fucking lunatic.
Dude, overdoses on crystal meth that he's
microdosing allegedly.
And people follow him.
That's what.
we're at in society. We have failed young men, by the way.
Like, completely failed them. Or if young men failed us.
It's probably hand in hand. That's a whole different podcast or a whole different day.
We are here to talk about in the city despite what this past 10 minutes has been.
Yeah, we've just been soft launching a new podcast about lifestyle.
Reality bros. But we talk about reality, not reality TV. We talk about the concept of our reality.
And if it's fake or real and what that even means? What is real? What is real? What is
reality. Your perception of everything is just how your brain processes the reality around you,
but it doesn't actually look like this. Did you know that? Yeah, we're all in a coma,
every single one of us. That's another thing. You could matrix it, right? We could be in the
matrix. We could be battery power for machines because we created AI and AI is going to run the world
and kill us all. Skynet. That means that the world's actually coming to an end because what we're
doing is we're living the reality of when AI was created. So we're getting pretty
close. We got to be getting close.
Yeah. Final chapter. And then we get close to the singularity. The singularity is when AI
self-aware. And that's when we're done. And we're-
because they see people as the problem. I always wanted to be around for the last chapter.
See how everything ends, you know? I mean, we're we have the best chance in all of human
history. We are the closest to the doomsday clock. Yeah. Every current person could always say that,
though. Right. But we're the most current. Therefore, we are the closest to,
to catastrophe.
is what I was going to say.
Epitome.
Yeah.
Compromise.
All right.
Enough.
Because I genuinely,
this stuff is super fascinating to me.
That gets into quantum physics.
And I could talk about this for hours and hours.
Shooter sees my YouTube history.
It's all Neil deGrasnitian and quantum physics.
You use our podcast YouTube to go through that.
Yeah.
That's fascinating because it's like real.
But it's like it seems otherworldly.
It'll be like liked videos or something when I click on
our videos, but it goes to liked videos and it'll be a lot of quantum physics, a lot of space stuff,
and then something for, you know, like a baby because you have a baby daughter.
Yep.
That's pretty.
My interests are my children, food and quantum and astrophysics.
Yeah.
Because I'm cool.
That's why I have a little solar system on my mantle.
Yeah.
Oh, I didn't even see that.
See, you have points.
Something new every day.
We'll do a show and tell us.
Oh, that's fun.
until we see everything in my my shelves and then we'll do yours yeah all right now we're talking
yeah and we start i love that i've tried to come on guys to refocus like four times i know yeah
it's it's not going to work because my mind's wandering now but also i i i wait to see all of the
comments because you know how on youtube it'll say like you know 10 minutes and three seconds i
agree with that but can you guys get all the show like yeah i guess no we're doing an extra long
preamble today you got to you clicked play
you clicked play to watch this and listen to this.
So it's on you.
It's like to discuss.
It's our podcast, guys.
We can talk about anything right now.
And yes,
you could stop listening.
And yes,
that would be bad for us in the long run.
Yeah.
But you'd miss out on the in the city recap,
which is,
you know,
it's coming.
It's coming.
It's coming at some point.
I can promise you that.
No,
let's talk in the city.
I do,
I like where this show is at.
I like where we got to at the end.
There was a couple of things
that were clearly forced
because there's the season finale.
I'm fine with that.
I would rather have resolved,
the forced resolve,
than carry over stupid shit into next year.
I'm very curious with this show in particular.
Just we know how tumultuous things are in real life.
I'm very curious about the off-season run for this show.
Like when are we starting to film again?
When are we picking up cameras?
When's the reunion?
Do we do a reunion?
What do you mean?
Like when was the reunion filmed?
Yeah.
The reunion to start a film is what I'm thinking about.
Oh, okay.
So this is probably going to be the easiest show to figure out because it's always going to run immediately after Summerhouse or very quickly after Summerhouse.
So we're going to have to get used to those fall seasons and going into when it starts getting pushed a little bit or more episodes.
We'll start getting into like the Christmas season.
It should be before Summer House and then you roll Summer House after.
But it's going to be confusing because we're going to go back before summer every year.
Yeah.
Yeah, that's, yeah, that would get kind of confused.
But for now anyway, at least for the foreseeable future, I imagine they'll start filming at the end of September pretty much every year and we'll start to run through Christmas.
That's where we're going to get because we got Friendsgiving at the end this year.
Yeah.
I imagine we'll get to like a 12, 13 episode season at some point.
If they really want to push it, we'll get to 1415 as we see with the Valley, which is still fucking going on.
I can't believe it.
Oh, God, it is.
Damn it.
We're going to get to a point where we're going to start getting through the holidays, which I think it'll actually be interesting because aside.
from Winterhouse. We haven't really seen a lot of this crew
and obviously a lot of them are new.
But we haven't seen in the aisle
during Christmas and shit. Yeah, I think that's going to be really
fun to watch. And we got a couple of seasons
of that with Roney too, but now Roney's so
fucking all over the place. Who knows what we're filming?
But yeah, so that's what we're going to get. But this year, in particular,
I know the reunion was filmed a little early
just because everybody
was fucking pregnant. I mean, people just started getting
pregnant left and right. So that was one
of the things that I think they wanted to kind of push
forward a little bit. So I imagine the
reunion will probably be filmed somewhere right before summer house and they'll start seeing something
like that so it'll get it'll get a little interesting anyway um but yeah i mean all in all pretty good
season i agree with you i think a lot of things were forced towards the end i think they knew that this
was coming i think they knew they were ending on their trip kind of a funny trip people were upset about
the trip but again this is the first season like we see weird trips in the first season for a lot of
shows they'll start going to the caribbean they'll start going to like l a or something for their final
trip every year oh they're bummed that we didn't go somewhere
fun. I thought Connecticut was funny. I thought that was like, uh, let's go stick them in a house in the
middle of nowhere and yeah, they stick them in the house for like two nights. Like it's not the biggest
deal in the world. I have no problem with it. I had no issues with it. I actually liked it because of
forces conversations. And if you're out and about in a different country, you can escape. You can't escape.
You're in a farmhouse in Connecticut. And that's what we saw. But let's jump in. Uh,
there wasn't a whole lot going on this episode, but we do the kitchen check in in the morning and then
Lindsay's FaceTime and with her daughter, which is just leading us to the inevitable conversation
of the single mom card being played.
Now, obviously, that's stung to hear.
She's not happy.
Georgina's not happy.
And the whole beginning of the episode, like we're going shopping and shit like that,
it's just different parties discussing what's going on with the single mom thing.
And you've got Danielle who kind of breaks it to Whitney, like, hey, this.
And like, it's so funny because she's still trying to play it.
to Lindsay and and be nice to Lindsay.
She's like, hmm, the single mom cart thing.
Like, it just didn't seem like something you would say.
I'm like, oof, that's a shitty way to say that.
It's kind of funny.
And Whitney, Whitney is interesting because if we talk about this thing as a whole, right,
could you say that that's annoying sometimes?
Yeah, only because as somebody states later, it gives the impression that people without kids
don't go through things and people without kids don't have lives or or hardships or anything
like that.
But you always have to respect the mom card.
I think,
I think you are up Shits Creek if you don't.
And two,
if you're going to play this card,
the Whitney card of calling out somebody for the mom card,
do not double down and say,
well,
she's got a nanny.
Like,
whoa, dude,
now you are taking away from what Lindsay does as a mom.
That's a totally different landscape.
I think I fully agree with that.
I think without the nanny comment, it's really not that big of a deal.
And I think, and we'll talk about it later when we're sitting down at the winery and Georgina's talking to Whitney.
But up front when we're discussing in each individual car and you kind of get everybody's feelings about it, I think once you get to the nanny thing, I think that's immediately when Whitney needs to cut it off and be like, you know what?
I think I just ran too far with that one.
I don't even really think anything about that.
But I think what she's doing is kind of twisting it into somewhat.
interesting way that somebody's going to have to do at some point.
I'm surprised, you know, Kenny tried to do it early on.
It didn't really work that well.
But twisting it a little bit into a everybody's afraid of Lindsay and no one wants to talk
about it.
That's fine with me.
That's totally cool with that.
And I didn't see that coming that came out of the left field with somebody like Whitney being
the person to do it.
But what I'm super focused on, incredibly focused on is something I talked about earlier
in the season.
We got it.
Kenny is standing up with Whitney.
Kenny is supporting his girlfriend.
We knew this was going to happen.
That's what I was keeping an eye on.
So I'm really excited about that, at least,
because we had questions about these two at the beginning of the season.
We've come full circle, so that is one circle closed.
This is the episode of closing all of the circles.
But focusing on this, Whitney step it up a little bit.
I don't care that she made those comments.
It doesn't affect me.
I'm not a single mom.
I have a single mom or had a single mom at one point.
She's married now, so good for her.
But I had a single mom.
So I wasn't, like, offended by it.
I think when we get to the conversation a little bit later,
it takes a weird turn.
But I'm happy to see that Whitney's at least doing something.
I mean, she could have just kind of melted into the backgrounds.
Lexi and Andrea kind of have that role on lockdown right now.
Lexi got a little bit more involved in Andrea.
But the two of them didn't really do a whole lot this season.
That's where they are.
That's where Whitney could have been.
But instead she decided to step up.
And now you're actually kind of starting to see maybe why Kenny and Whitney get along
because they do have similar personalities.
Yeah, I agree.
I think that, you know, do I condone what she said?
No, not at all.
When you bring the nanny thing in it, again, it's just a completely different conversation than playing a single mom card.
Now you're questioning how much she does as a mom, which is an insane thing to do.
But without the nanny comment, she might be right.
I mean, we didn't see a whole lot.
There's an argument to be made.
I would not be surprised if Lindsay's walking around just complaining about being a mom all the time and just trying to like take the best seat in the restaurant because she's a mom.
I might have to leave right away.
So I got to get this seat like by the door when it's warm out and you want a little cold air or something like something like that.
I could absolutely see Lindsay doing that and you can make me believe.
But aside from that, I mean, once you get to the nanny thing, it's like,
ah, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, do talk.
You lose.
You lose.
But I'm with you, like, again, I don't condone the statements, but I'm cool with her speaking up.
Like, we need that in this group, especially when you have a presence as strong as Lindsay.
And you have other really big personalities, like Georgina.
I didn't know she had such a big personality, but she will stand 10 toes down, which I very much appreciate.
You got Gavin, who's a fucking wildcard.
you never know what he's going to do.
So if you want to have a spot in this group that's not just Alexei Andrea Rolla kind of hanging out,
you're going to have to go and do some shit.
Whitney did.
And to her credit, a lot of people would have cowered in that kitchen.
She did not.
She didn't know what to say.
And she can contradict herself a little bit.
But it's growth, right?
And that is what you want to see, especially in an early show where it's like, all right,
can everybody stand the heat?
Can they take some shit and keep moving forward?
And we saw that with Whitney.
Like, yes, she can't.
She needs to clean up some of the other things so that she's,
because she's not going to be able to go toe to toe with Lindsay season after season.
That probably won't bode well for her.
But it's a good step in the right direction of just getting involved.
We appreciate the involvement.
Absolutely.
Well, we get to Apple picking.
And again, there's more conversations about the single mom card and they end up sitting down
at the fire pit to discuss things.
you got Lindsay getting passive aggressive about it, which is always funny.
She's like, oh, a single mom's like, we need a little swing of this or that.
Good, always fun.
But as you're watching everything shake out, aside from the single mom stuff, the Amanda Kyle stuff is fascinating to me.
It's absolutely fascinating because on one side, you have Amanda claiming, like, we're trying.
This is our new thing.
We're going to make it work.
We're dating again.
On the other side, you have her never wanting to be new.
Kyle, always making jokes about being near Kyle.
And I 100% agree with Kyle when she, he's like, you know, they're playing the game
to find the biggest apple.
You don't have to clean up dinner.
Like, do you want to win or do you want to lose?
She's like, I want to lose.
Like, yes.
And that is the biggest difference between YouTube.
That.
And it seems so small, but that is a microcosm of everything that they go through.
And like, this whole episode was such an indicator of all of the shit.
that Amanda does or has tried to do to make Kyle the bad guy.
Like, if you are actually, I don't care if she had left him, right?
If she started this season, it's like, I'm done.
All right, respect.
Get out of there.
It's not working.
Go your separate ways.
But to claim that you're trying to make it work, then every single time you guys have a
moment or some time to talk, you leave, you make a joke at his expense, or you say shit
to other people behind his back.
But in the same breath, you're saying, you're trying to work on it.
That's where I get pissed off.
I'm like, you should have just ended it instead of, you know what I'm going to say?
I'm not going to say it because it's self-explanatory.
Yeah, it's self-expository.
You don't have to say it.
I'm not saying.
We actually already did it this episode, so it doesn't matter anyway.
We hit our quote.
Yeah, we hit our quota.
I mean, yeah, it's just hard not to get upset when Amanda goes to her confessionals,
because every time that she goes to her confessionals, it's very woe is.
me or you can't have it both ways.
It's either, what was me or I'm really excited for this next chapter of my life.
You can't be excited for this next chapter in your life if the chapter is actually a
repeat of a chapter that you already did, which was dating Kyle.
Like, we're not going to be excited for you either way, even if you didn't do the whole thing
with West.
So when she goes to her confessionals, especially in this episode when she's talking about the
night prior, she's like, I was like shaking and crying and just so visibly upset.
It's like, why?
Why were you so upset?
I don't know.
Because you're rehashing more things about.
Kyle, but that discussion was way worse about Kyle and it was way more of the same until the
very end when finally for the one time that you guys have been fighting over the last seven years,
two guys stood up and were like, well, I mean, she wasn't there for that part.
Kyle has to say, yeah, she was, oh yeah, she wasn't even there for that part.
So she got up and walked away from the table during a discussion that you've had like a million
times, but you were so upset that you had to go to your room and just call it a night.
Like I don't really shaking.
I just don't understand anything that she ever does.
And I never really understand where she is.
And I don't think she really does either.
Like I think that she says all of the things that are indicating like,
oh, yeah, we really want to try things.
And then she doesn't try.
So she's contradicting herself constantly.
But I don't think she's, I don't know.
It doesn't seem like she's doing it like on her own.
Like I don't think she's trying to do that.
I think there's certain times where you can point to and be like, yeah,
absolutely.
She's trying to sway the audience or she thinks the audience is going to be on her side.
But when it comes down to something like this,
where she kind of going back and forth,
I really don't think she knows where she wants to land.
I do think when she got that little bit of freedom and moved out,
she was like, wow, this is so nice.
I don't want to do any of these things,
but I can't make it look like I'm abandoning Kyle.
So I have to keep acting like I'm trying to date him.
And then when she has those one-on-one scenes with him,
it looks like maybe she's moving towards dating him again.
But when she starts to realize what her life could look like
is when you start to see those other things where she's pushing him away.
And she's just gotten caught in this fucking cycle of like,
oh, I feel bad about myself.
let me throw Kyle under the bus and have everybody jump on him and make fun of him.
And then she walks away crying and then everybody has to go check in on her.
It's almost like she's gotten used to that serotonin boost where people are going to walk in and be like,
Amanda, are you okay?
Yeah, I'm okay.
It's just really tough.
And I feel like she doesn't know what to do without that.
And it's kind of weird to watch.
That's honestly a great way to put it.
Like that the fact that her default when she's feeling down in blue is everyone to attack Kyle real quick.
Yeah. Do my dirty work for me. Thanks, guys. And again, I think it's really interesting to think about
what she came into this season, what her very, very clear agenda was, and then knowing that it's not
landing because of what we now know. And then watching that scene at the end of this, unbelievable.
Like the inability to just take accountability, even after your life is imploded publicly, is astounding.
It's absolutely astounding.
But fire side chat, like I said, we're talking about the single mom card.
My one issue with Whitney is not that she said something.
Again, I'm glad she's getting involved, even if it was a stupid thing to say.
My issue is you can't say what you said and then say it has nothing to do with being a single mom.
It's like, I know what you're implying.
You're not saying, but here's where that argument goes to shit.
Because you said the nanny thing.
Now you are talking about her being a single mom.
That does have to do with single moms because you took it too far.
If you kept it too, she's using that to get good rooms and the good seat at the restaurant or whatever.
You don't have.
Then you can fall back on like, I'm not saying like single moms are good, bad, or otherwise.
It was just you're using that.
But because you then went the nanny route, that is questioning Lindsay's parenting and how much time she does or does not have.
And again, she has a nanny because she's a single mom and she has the opportunity to work and make money for her baby.
That's not the same.
She's not like going to the salon and hanging out when she's got a free minute.
Like she's hustling.
If you follow her on Instagram, she's constantly working.
She's with her daughter or she's working.
That's pretty much all she does.
Yeah, that's pretty much all she does.
And again, the nanny comment negates everything else that she was trying to say.
You can look at it like she spoke too much.
Maybe she really does think that.
That's wrong, of course.
or it gives them an out.
It gives Lindsay an immediate out.
I don't have to focus on the fact that maybe you are right.
Maybe I am using the mom card a lot.
And she calls it a mom card later.
So that kind of,
you know,
is a little bit of a win for Whitney,
but it doesn't really amount to anything.
But it immediately gives her an out.
Georgina is a different part of this,
which we'll get to in a second.
But for Lindsay,
if you give her a little bit,
she's just going to take that.
And she didn't take it nearly as much as I thought she was going to.
Maybe it's because the season was over.
And she's like,
uh,
whatever,
let's just make up call it a night.
It's not really worth it to keep going.
I've got bigger fish to fry or at least let's see how the Danielle thing shakes out.
But Lindsay, again, the way that Whitney talked, it's like you could have just ended it there.
If they had a problem and they wanted to nitpick and say, oh, you hate all single bombs,
you have a leg to stand on and Kenny's going to help you out.
So you can go back and forth a little bit.
The nanny comment just immediately is defeat.
It's all.
There's nothing more you can say.
I personally, I don't think that Whitney meant what it came out as.
I think she just kind of took it too far.
Maybe I don't know.
We'll have to find out.
So when Georgina said, it sounds like it's a couple that hates women.
I was like, I mean, I don't think they hate women.
Well, let's get to the argument.
Let's get to the Georgina thing because that's a different part of this.
I like the Lindsay and Whitney thing is whatever.
If Lindsay's fine with it and they can move on, I don't really care.
Yeah. Georgina, this is like her first real, like she's been so fun all season.
This is her first like real contribution to any of the drama all season.
She's a bit of a baby.
I think she's a bit of a baby with this whole thing.
I think she took it way too far.
She took it like personally.
We know what Whitney was saying.
We know now what Kenny was saying.
You guys took the room.
Just be like, yeah, whatever.
Like we're tired.
We wanted a fucking nice room.
Like we didn't think about Avon.
We didn't think about Nick.
We didn't think about their wedding or anything else.
Lean heavier.
Single mom.
You are single bombs and you are time.
Yeah.
That's good.
You are.
Like that's totally fine.
Like both sides of it are totally fine.
In a nutshell, it's okay for Whitney to be like,
well, what the fuck, guys?
We were going to give.
it to Nick and Avon.
We were going to put them up there because we ruined their wedding, second wedding,
whatever, which you know how we feel about that, fourth wedding, whatever the fuck it was.
So that's okay.
And then the other side is also okay.
You guys are tired.
You're away from your kids.
You want to have some fun.
Lindsay host of the trip.
That's also okay.
You can have an actual argument about that.
But I feel like you've, not even about, I feel like when Georgina gets into it, I'm like,
all right, maybe back off a little bit.
You're taking it.
You're taking it so much further.
and you're on the verge of tears right now,
you know that Whitney wasn't coming after you being a mom.
She wasn't coming after Lindsay being a mom.
She was slightly annoyed that you guys took the room and they had a plan.
That's really all it is and that's all it really amounts to.
I feel like Georgina took it so personally and she was being a bit of a baby.
Like I didn't really like to see that.
I hear what you're saying.
I do think there's a layer to this where I do need to acknowledge like the single mom aspect of it
because I imagine, I don't know, but I do imagine that they do carry a lot, right?
And I would imagine that they are insecure about certain things.
And they don't want to hear that you think that I'm using the situation that I'm in,
that I don't want to be.
And as both of them said, like Georgina was holding out hope that she was going to get back
with her dude.
Lindsay didn't want the Turner thing to go south.
So then you have people commenting on it as though they're like using that to their advantage.
I would imagine it probably stings a little bit.
Sure.
I don't know if I could call her a baby for it.
I get what you're saying.
I'm going to call her a baby.
When people start whiting,
they just sound like a fucking baby.
But the thing that I focus it on is when they first got to the house,
like you guys did run ahead of everybody and try to get the best room.
And there's an argument that we made.
Then it turned into a,
well,
I mean,
we took the room.
And yes,
Lindsay's going to do whatever the fuck Lindsay wants to do.
And most people will just bow down and just move out of the way.
And like,
it's not worth it.
They go after Lindsay.
But then when Lindsay's doing that, we know Lindsay does that.
And then Georgina's like, whoa, guys, come on.
We got the room.
Like, this is so much bigger.
It's like, it's not.
It's really not that big of a fucking deal.
I think you're just taking it too far.
So that's where I'm like, all right, you knew what you were doing.
You got the best room at first before anybody else could get it.
Maybe you wanted to snake it from Kenny and Whitney or that's where you thought it was going to go.
That's totally fine.
You can say that.
Like, just be honest and be like, yeah, we pulled up.
We ran up.
We found the best room.
We're tired.
We wanted to make sure that we got the best room.
we weren't thinking about anybody else.
Cool.
That's totally fine with me.
But now you're making it so much.
And Whitney's also adding to it, obviously.
But now Georgina taking it to that level.
I'm like, all right, come on.
It's not that big of a fucking deal.
No, I think it got blown out of proportion for sure.
But I think that that's, I wouldn't blame Georgina for taking it to that level.
Again, I think that everything just went south this second.
I know I've said it 30 times, but the second the nanny comment was made, it takes out of different.
It's over.
Yeah.
Yeah.
I just think I would have had way more.
respect if Georgina and or Lindsay were like, yeah, I completely agree.
Like we took the room because we're single moms.
I'd be like that makes sense.
I get on it and just be cool with it.
But now when you're starting to move it over to Whitney, it's now it's Whitney's problem
because she made a comment.
It's like, well, you guys did take the room.
Just fucking stand on business.
That's the other part of it where it's like you guys decided to do that.
Again, I totally fine with it.
Like it makes complete sense.
I'm sure you are tired and you're away from your kids for the first time.
Yes, take the room.
but to do that,
which obviously you thought it was a big deal
because you made the effort to get in there
before everybody else to get the room,
you then don't get to act like it's not a big deal.
Because it's like, oh,
there's about the rooms again?
It's like, well, yeah.
Like, yes.
Kind of.
People have a problem.
Much like you have a problem with Whitney's comment,
other people have a problem with you guys taking the room
without talking to anybody.
That's all it is.
And again, it's not a fucking big deal.
Like everybody's making it out to be this huge issue.
Even Whitney's comment isn't that big of a deal.
Like, yeah, you can show her who's boss and tell her that she was wrong for making the comment.
But to take it as far as it went, I'm like, ah, right.
Come on, guys, really?
Yeah.
And again, it's the nanny of it all for sure.
Yeah, the nanny comment ruins everything.
We're going to take a quick little ad break here and we'll get right back to the rest of in the city.

Those You Want and Those You Never Saw Coming.
Season 2 arrives September 24th, distributed by Realm.
During everything, because we're in the kitchen, like, trying to get through and get to the bottom of everything and have everybody on the same page and clarify, you know, Whitney's not disparaging single mothers.
She just made the comment about this and now it's turned into this.
We're moving in the right direction.
But there's one person in this cast that's not okay with resolve.
And Gavin chimes in.
She just to pick a room.
All right.
Damn it.
Somebody get Gavin.
Go take him in the other room.
Please.
For a second, like so we can solve all of this and reinstigates it.
And I actually am glad this happened because it does lead to a conversation that needed to be had.
I thought the conversation needed to be a lot tougher than it was.
But I just think there's a lot of feelings and emotions involved.
But Kenny's 100% correct in the kitchen.
He's like, this is like, don't let him reinstigate.
Like, what are you doing?
Shut up.
He's like, I'm not reinstigating.
Just pick a room.
You are.
And then for Gavin to say,
Kenny goes, don't let him antagonize you.
If anything, she's antagonizing me telling me to shut up.
Shut up.
Everybody, when they pan the camera around the room,
even Kyle was like, Gavin, like, get out of this conversation.
Like, this has nothing to do with you.
And Kenny's right.
That's exactly what Gavin did.
He walked over.
He doesn't really have a horse in the, uh, no, horse in the fight.
Dog in the fight.
A dog in the fight.
A horse in the race.
Horse in the race.
Horse in the race.
in the race horse in the ring yeah that's the one that's horse in the ring boxing horses yeah you
never seen boxing horses i kind of want to now uh with ai anything's possible um but yeah even
kyle's like dude just get the fuck out like hey gavin you have no bearing on any of this you have
no dog in the fight you're going over to lindsay and you're looking at lindsay like you you did
nothing wrong you did absolutely she did something a little bit wrong it's okay again not that big
of a deal, but it's also not that big of a deal to be like, yeah, you know what, let's let you guys
figure this out. He is just stirring the pot. This is the thing like you said before, there's one person
in the house that's a bit of a wild card. You never know what to expect. You do know what to expect.
He's going to stir the pot. You just don't know how or which direction. That's the problem.
And that's what we talked about a couple episodes ago with Gavin. Like, yeah, I'm fine with him on the cast.
I think there's going to be really good moments like we saw last week or two weeks ago at the wedding.
there's going to be shitty moments like we saw early in the season.
You don't really know what you're going to get with him.
It's going to work or it's going to be stupid.
But I think what's going to end up happening is when he does something stupid that's like,
all right, dude, you don't need to do this.
We can move on.
He's going to get called out for it now.
You're going to have Kenny.
You're going to have Kyle.
You're going to have Andrea at some point, probably when he gets involved in the season.
He's going to step in and talk to Kenny and be like, or talk to Gavin, rather.
Be like, dude, not the time, not the place.
Doesn't make any fucking sense.
maybe he can start to hone that skill
that's my hope anyway start to hone that skill
maybe by the end of season two you've got now you don't
think so yeah I don't have a lot of hope
I can hope and pray no I see
what you want from it
I don't think he's capable of giving that
just because like when we get to the conversation
between Kenny and Gavin
he receives things so weird
like he just is a strange cat
like they're talking and he's like well
half of those were jokes oh they fucking weren't
And that's like, that's the route we're going to go is that you were joking.
Like, come on, dude, that's weak as shit.
And he starts to kind of put two and two together.
He's like, maybe I need to have a filter.
Like, that's my bad.
I'm sorry.
But, you know, I'm poking because I want to see him succeed.
Like what you have done, Gavin in your own brain is take any onus off of yourself and imply that everything
you did was for Kenny.
And that's fucking weird and not true.
It's so weird.
You almost sabotaged his relationship.
And just because you have a, uh, a, uh, a, uh,
dude crush on him and you're sad that he's got a serious relationship.
What I will say is unintentionally,
Gavin is the reason that Kenny and Whitney are more together.
Like he was able to bring them together,
not in the way that he was trying to do it.
He'll take credit for it.
Oh, he will for sure.
But you can in a fucked up way,
like you can give him credit because of all of his stupid shit.
It caused and forced conversations between Whitney and Kenny.
that did lead to them being a stronger couple.
But not for the reasons that Gavin's going to claim.
And that was my issue.
And that's why I don't have a lot of hope because this conversation was bizarre.
It was strange.
Yeah, it was really bizarre.
I think what this did for me, and I'll probably end up getting hate for this at some point,
but I love Kenny on this show.
Kenny is great on this show.
Not only did he go full circle and really support his girlfriend,
which were a lot of questions at the beginning of the season,
but I think that this conversation shows you
and maybe it's because they've been friends for a long time
I think it's just because Kenny's able to like kind of sniff through the bullshit
and be like dude come on what the fuck are we doing it gets to the point which I appreciate
yeah I love it when people get to the point because we don't get stuck on things
but even then like the way the conversation started Gavin was trying to excuse his way
out of it trying to say he was joking trying to say he did it for his best interest
whatever it was he tried a bunch of things he threw a lot of shit at the wall nothing
really stuck thankfully and Kenny was able to just kind of get to the heart of it
Like, dude, no, dude, no, absolutely not.
That's not what you were fucking trying to do.
And then he tries crying at the end, which maybe it was real.
Maybe it wasn't.
I don't fucking know.
Maybe Gavin's going through something.
I don't think it was real if I had to guess.
But Gavin's going through everyone else that he hangs out with is married or serious a day or having kids.
And he is not.
Yeah.
And he doesn't really know what to do it.
He just kind of hangs out of the bars that he owns every single night.
And it gets really sad.
But that's probably what it is.
So, yeah.
So I really appreciate the way that Kenny's been able.
to kind of like navigate through not only the Gavin ship with the Lindsay stuff like we've gotten
to a better place with everybody and I think that Kenny's been like at the heart of a lot of those
things but especially with this conversation like again another circle closing we've seen Kenny and
Gavin kind of go back and forth back and forth back and forth finally push came to shove and you
actually get a real conversation between these two where you're like what the fuck are you doing
there's no sense in anything that you've been doing everything that we're doing and we run through
the whole crescendo of all the things that Gavin said about Whitney and Kenny we finally
get to this point. It's like, all right, back the fuck off.
Good. That's what I want. That's where we need
to be, but they did it in a way where they could
still bro hug at the end and move up.
Yeah. I mean, it's a win-win.
It's just, again, his train of
thought is so strange. And like,
he is totally going to take credit for this whole thing.
But we're getting dinner
ready. I've got a bugaboo.
Kyle DJing the dinner. It was a fucking weird.
I mean, that, sure. But no,
while we're making gravy,
Lindsay chastises about the rue.
That's not good.
That rue was completely fine.
It was like that's what she thought that it's supposed to be like liquid and gravy the
whole time.
No,
no.
When you start the rue out,
it's clumpy and it's almost not dry,
but it's,
and then you work and emulsify the liquid into it.
They did a rue.
They could have done anything for gravy.
They could have bought gravy from a fucking box.
They did a rue.
And then they poured the rue out and they started over and poured
gravy in there and then they just added flour to thicken the gravy.
Yeah.
Yeah, I didn't notice that part.
They had the rue.
You have to cook the rue so that doesn't have a raw flour taste and they were doing that.
Everything was going fine.
Then Lindsay threw it away.
Brutal.
Hate to see it.
Yeah.
I didn't see it.
I didn't.
I didn't.
It's frustrating for you.
It stuck out to make a sore thumb.
It was like, no, that's fine.
That rue is fine.
Cook it.
And then I was way more, way more focused on Kyle thinking that you need to DJ their
friends.
Like, yeah, after dinner, you don't have to set up
shit right now you can set it up after dinner what's the problem with this well that's
kyle being kyle again there are reasons that the mares didn't work i'm not saying that he is
you know absolved of sin that's one of them maybe we'll find out more about kyle prioritized
we'll find out more about kyle on um sally and la la's sex podcast that's a thing oh you didn't
see that oh no yeah sally carson and la la are doing a uh
a sex podcast.
I forget what it's called.
I started to comment on it.
Lauren from Utah.
Yeah,
I started to comment on it
from my personal page.
I wasn't going to do that
on the podcast because,
you know,
I don't want people to think
that we're taking a side in any of this,
but I,
uh,
I deleted it.
I'm like,
I can't.
I don't want to involve.
Nope.
No.
Not worth it.
All about sexing with Lala and Sally.
That's what it's called.
Something like that,
dude.
It's like sex education or something.
Wow.
Interesting. You give that a listen and let me know how it is.
But anyway, Kenny and Gavin kissed it made up.
Everything's good there.
And it's so funny.
And this is just the sign.
I'm not even going to falter for it, but the sign of a season finale because, well,
that's where I want to get with you, Lindsay.
Sure.
Boo.
Sheworn that in.
I don't care.
Let's force this conversation once and for all.
The funniest part of this conversation is Lindsay, I don't think she care.
And she's like, yeah, you know what?
I'm sorry.
She started.
You could see it.
Like her face lit up.
She looked at Danielle, looked around, realized what time it was in the season, didn't want to
give her anything.
You know what?
Fine.
We can figure things out.
Whatever.
I don't care.
Danielle actually elated.
Lindsay doesn't give a shit.
Instead of actually talking to Danielle, she ends up looking at Owen and says, you know what?
I'm going to give you some kudos because I've never seen her this happy before.
It must be you.
it's not her. So we're good. And I guess Danielle, you know, that's good enough for Danielle.
It's good enough for the season finale. So we can just kind of tie a bow on literally everything.
I'm sure things will be way different moments to get to the reunion. But at least for that,
we can finish that one up. I don't really want to talk about it anymore. I don't either. And that's
why it was funny. And like, I knew it was bullshit because it was, you're right. I'm sorry.
Period. Yep. Cool. What? Can we eat? Can we ever in a million years. Yeah. Oh,
season finale. Right. Right. Let's clean it up. Not worth it.
Well done. Good job.
We got to save some time here for Amanda and Kyle to talk.
We've already seen.
So we can see that again because that's what I wanted to see.
But everyone's dancing.
Everyone's having fun.
And the fucking Captain Bombers is like, I'm getting a bad.
Like this is, why are you on the show then, dude?
Like, no, not whatever.
Like, whatever as far as like, I don't care.
The her and Kyle stuff, like, again, it's baffling to me that she's going to die on the hill of,
I'm trying here.
And then this is how you are anytime you're around, Kyle, so you're not trying and you're lying.
But what do you do on this show?
Like all of the scenes with Amanda in them are people commenting on the fact that she's walking away, that she's not there, that she's disinterested and uninvolved.
And we know for a fact at this juncture, she is doing something with West.
Yep.
So she probably went to her room to FaceTime, that stupid bitch.
So it's just annoying
The problem is
I know how this is going to work out
Assuming she stays on in the city
I think she will
And I think she will
Lindsay's going to give her a redemption
She's just gonna
It's gonna happen
You saw some of it
Yes exactly
And the you know
Whatever the hell they call the aftermath
Yeah you saw a little bit of it there
That was enough for me to understand
What was going to happen
We're gonna have to see Kyle and Amanda talking
I don't think we're gonna see any West
but we're probably going to see a little bit of West.
And you're going to have Lindsay just kind of talking to Amanda.
And if Lindsay's talking to Amanda, Vaughn's going to talk to Amanda.
Lexi and Andre will talk to Amanda.
So it'll end up working out in Amanda's favor.
But I agree with you.
It does nothing for the show because we already know what that looks like.
Like the rest of them, all the people that I just named are going to show up for work.
They're going to do other things.
There's going to be other things involved.
But we're going to have to be forced to watch Amanda get involved in other people's business.
We didn't sign up for that.
We're not signing up for that.
That's going to be a huge downfall for the show moving forward if they keep doing that.
And that's my point.
Like that's,
it's completely separate from Kyle and Amanda.
It is simply,
where does she fit into this show?
How does she fit into this show?
What does she bring to this show?
And the answer is nothing.
Like,
genuinely,
she's not a contributing cast member and a cast of mostly newbies that showed up.
Whitney showed up.
Gavin in his own weird way showed up.
Georgina showed up.
Everyone's doing their job.
Kyle amidst all of this shit is clocking in.
So I don't think it's fair that you get to coast through two shows now and make double the
paycheck for doing nothing really.
And I know she's not going to be back on Summerhouse, but I just think that it's like,
we've seen this before.
We watched you do it for years on Summerhouse.
You laid in bed.
Like you're,
you're pretty much doing that in the city.
And we don't need that.
It's going to be tough.
And the sit down, the final sit down rather with Kyle and Amanda.
nothing gets accomplished.
I mean,
it was just a continuance of the conversation
that we already saw in the first episode,
but now she's throwing in jabs.
And again,
we talked about this.
Kyle talking about lover boy,
he's like,
yeah,
you know,
I was just sitting down that week
talking about how much financial stress
I was outside.
Kyle,
you've been talking about the financial stress
for about two years now,
three years.
When did you start lover boy?
Four years ago?
It's been four years.
It dropped.
It was cool.
You lost all your money
within six months.
And for some reason,
that company was still afloat
to actually see,
the day where it could start making money because of Amanda's follies.
But when Kyle starts talking about it, Amanda, of course, has to take a dig.
The weirdest dig of all time.
Well, yeah, I mean, I feel like you're making money because everybody hates me.
It's like, you're taking credit for people hating you.
She's not wrong, but she's not wrong, but it was just weird that she had to do that when
Kyle's like, yeah, I mean, we're finally making money funny.
But Amanda's taking credit for it to take it away from Kyle.
One last, like even when it's self detrimental to Amanda, she's still.
still not going to give Kyle the credit, which, you know, whatever.
That's, that's, that's the microcosal for their relationship.
And then the Sally Carson comment was just fucking stupid.
And like, all right.
That shit drove me nuts.
Yeah.
Amanda should be groveling to everybody.
And she still shows you who she is as a person.
She's still going to take away from it all.
Yeah.
And like it again shows you, I've said again like a billion times.
Sorry.
But it shows you her mindset.
Because on one side, you have Kyle who, you know, he's sad and he's being real and he's being
Kyle where it's like you're being really nice and taking on a lot of this when you don't
really have to in this moment.
She is so afraid to be genuine and so afraid to be the villain that in this moment, she is
trying to play the victim card.
I can't leave my apartment.
Everybody hates me.
I'm afraid they're going to yell at me.
And this is that?
Whose fault is that?
That's not Kyle's fault.
That's your fault.
Then on top of that, when you make the Sally joke, what you're doing is belittling what you did and comparing it to Kyle and Sally.
Kyle has every right to go and boink Sally.
I will forever stand on the hill of they make a lot of sense to me.
I think they thrive together.
But that joke is so mistimed.
ill-conceived and it's like dude
don't compare what you did
to Kyle hooking up with Sally
because it's not even remotely the same thing
and you're trying to draw comparisons
and because like this is
the part that was frustrating to me
because Kyle is who he is
and even when we were getting so much shit
for it in the midst of
you know before this all came out
we always clarified we would grill
Kyle and talk all the shit but we would say
I do think he's a good dude
I think it's a bad marriage but I think he's a
guy deep down.
Because Kyle is who he is, he plays into her shit, where he like does take some of the,
the emphasis off of her, which, you know, fine.
But it's just interesting.
Even in this moment now, like he's making contrition and like, now, it's just weird.
It just sucks.
The whole thing sucks.
I hope we don't have to ever see any clips of that ever again.
I hope that we can put this shit to bed.
We can move on.
I know.
I know.
They'll beat a dead horse at some point.
The podcast is called Sex Unlocked, by the way.
Sex Unlocked?
What do you mean?
So if sex is locked, Sally and Lala will.
They're unlocking it.
They're going to open up sex.
Mm-hmm.
Sure are.
Let's get to some questions here.
First up from Andre Drew 1.
Does Amanda actually have proof that Kyle cheated?
She's never shown receipts.
Probably not.
I believe he cheated.
I believe he cheated, but I don't know if she actually has the receipts.
don't think so it's fun it's so funny that things have gone so far south that people are saying
that now like not a million years that i think people would question that people like wait you know
what for now are you really cheap yeah uh from dandy carps not a question but the audacity
to take pride slash credit for lover boy because you're a terrible human yeah it doesn't make any
sense like i said even to her own detriment she's still going to take credit for it unbelievable
Uh, from Brie Polo, do you think that any of them actually like having Amanda around?
No, she's a bummer.
I mean, would you like to be around her all the time?
No.
She brought the vibe down in every scene she was in.
It made it all about her and like called attention to her and her sadness and shit.
It was all just annoying.
Uh, from Carly Botos.
Now we know why Kyle brought up Thanksgiving in the beginning of the sit down.
Yeah.
I, that whole Thanksgiving, uh, Friendsgiving thing clearly was, uh, the
start of Kyle probably seeing what we were seeing where it's like,
are you trying?
You're not actually trying.
Yeah.
Yep.
Emma Gordon,
interesting take here.
Isn't Gavin just a perfect messy man with heart?
I'm here for his unwanted commentary.
We are too.
I'm very much here for his unwanted commentary.
I don't know if I will probably a little too complimentary.
I call him a perfect messy man with heart.
Yeah.
I think he's just a mess.
That's going through his own personal demons.
as his friends move forward in life and he is not.
But hey, whatever floats your boat, Emma,
we're not here to tell you what the like.
Lindsay Bucks, first season MVP, Katie DeLuca.
Katie DeLucah.
Yeah, agreed.
She was in the cast photo.
People were circling her.
I didn't realize she was in the cast photo.
She was in a total of two scenes, I believe.
One at the wedding and one at, there was some other sit-down.
Because Amanda has other friends,
like Katie DeLuca.
Mm-hmm.
Yep.
Let's see.
Oh, Megan-O, Megano.
Steele, please weigh in on leaving skin on for mashed potatoes.
Look.
Totally fine.
Do I like it?
No.
But especially in like a situation like this, you're trying to get dinner together fast.
Like, it saves you so much time.
The good thing is, here's a tip.
If you have a riser, which is the best way to make mashed potatoes, you don't have to take the skin off.
And when you squish them, the skin stays in the ricer and just the, the, the
potato comes out.
So there you go.
Just get a ricer and you don't have to peel your potatoes again.
There you go.
From,
I just had a good one,
but now I lost it.
Oh,
Carmillianer.
Did Katie Valuka come on this trip and they just cut her out?
Where is she?
She probably boys on the trip.
I would love if she was.
I wonder why she got cut out.
I just want Katie DeLuca like mentions.
I want her in the cast,
but never present.
I want her to pop up randomly.
and be reminded like, oh, yeah, Katie DeLuca is on this show.
Yeah, yeah, that's what I want.
Sweet Sarah 10, did you guys catch Amanda's bun?
Clearly, she's been rocking that style for a while.
Yeah, yeah.
It's not a good look.
She's still doing it, by the way,
I think she's just too lazy to figure something else out.
Oh, this is easy.
Jamie Gibbs, who would you rather go on a double date with?
Sally and Kyle or West and Amanda?
Sally and Kyle would be a blast.
Sally and Kyle would be fun.
Yeah, that'd be a great time.
We'd go home before they did.
I'd assume that you and I are on date, by the way.
Yeah, I would double date with you, Bill.
Yeah, yeah.
From, I'll answer this one.
Go ahead, I'll answer this because she asks it every week.
Go ahead.
Tell you, Alexis, Andres, the double date would be weird because both Kyle and West had sex with
Amanda and Sally.
Yeah, yeah, that's a little incestual.
Oh, yeah.
But, yeah, very weird.
I forgot about that.
All right, Rachel Mickelis, we'll answer it finally.
Remember when you interviewed West and you've had.
asked this, I think six weeks in a row. So credit to you for your determination. Yes, I do. And I would
love to interview him again and we would grill him. We want more than anything to have one of
those interviews where we get to ask questions because we wouldn't pitch out. But we,
no one will ever do that. We try with Will Culp and he, he fucking went on file files.
Yeah. I still checks our story first every time. But yeah, we do remember Rachel.
I'll do one more here.
Oh, I actually like this one.
This doesn't have to be the last one,
but from Nora the Explorer.
Her wearing Argentina colors makes me want to boo her even more.
I was pissed off today.
Argentina beat England.
Yeah,
the group chat was very funny.
There is.
Let's find one more.
All right,
this is fun.
We can do this one and speculate a little bit.
Then we'll wrap it up.
From Pretty Ricky 22,
what changes do you think need to happen for a strong second season?
Um, Amanda's got to go away because that'll bog down the whole season.
There's more people, I'm sure that you could bring in there.
You need some more peeps.
Uh, or maybe more Katie Deluca.
That could actually be the answer right there.
I could unlock the whole thing.
Eddie DeLuca is always the answer.
Always the answer.
Um, no, Amanda has to go.
That's my only input because I know what the second season looks like and it's just
checking in with Amanda more and more about what's going on and how things are going.
and that's just going to suck to watch.
It's going to be a redemption arc that we didn't ask for.
I agree with you.
I think that's the easiest thing to plug and play.
You need to bring Carl onto the cast.
Yeah.
A no-brainer.
Carl needs to be on the cast.
And I think the real challenge, honestly,
and it's interesting that this is occurring similar to the Valley,
how do you incorporate the new moms into it?
Because I do think that there's definitely a place for that.
I think people will resists.
with that. I think it's super interesting. The way that it happened on the Valley was not great.
And we talked about that a lot. A lot of people have been on social media talking about that.
So I'm curious how they are going to navigate that. Because that's going to be a big,
big question mark on the strength of the season because we saw it handled poorly on the Valley.
And the show suffered significantly because of it. So I'm not saying at all that you don't
highlight it. I'm not saying that you don't make it a main storyline.
But doing it better than they did on the Valley is kind of crucial.
Yeah, yeah, I agree with that.
I haven't think about that.
So now I'm even more upset because they're going to do it wrong.
I don't know.
East Coast production tends to do a better job overall than West Coast production in our experience.
We'll see.
We shall see.
But yeah, revved up for the reunion.
Apparently Amanda looks even worse.
That's going to be great.
Oh, good.
Fun, fun, fun.
Then maybe we can put this to bed.
Still not confident, but there's a day, there is a day where we can reference this much like we do Scandival.
If we don't die in the process.
Yes, close of diarrhea might get all of us.
Yeah, everyone be careful.
Be careful.
Don't eat lettuce.
Isn't it always lettuce?
Like people get E.
Always lettuce.
Why is it always lettuce?
I don't know.
That's where all the parasites live.
I don't know why we eat it.
What are we rabbits?
Yeah, what are we rabbits or something?
All right.
Well, anyways, that's all I got.
You got anything else?
Nope.
Oh, that's our show.
