The twisted tale of Amanda Knox is an eight-episode episode Hulu original limited series that blends gripping pacing with emotional complexity, offering a dramatized look as it revisits the wrongful conviction of Amanda Knox for the tragic murder of Meredith Kircher and the relentless media storm that followed. The twisted tale of Amanda Knox is now streaming only on Disney Plus.
Starting point is 00:00:56 I've never watched the challenge. I don't know a whole lot about it. I really don't like Polly. Why? Polly bothers me. How come? I'll tell you later. Okay.
Starting point is 00:01:06 Is it the mesh shirts? No. Nope. Crop tops? Nope. Nothing to do with the aesthetic. Nothing to do with the aesthetic. You know me.
Starting point is 00:01:14 I don't judge people on aesthetics. You wear what you want to wear, you rock what you want to rock and I'll rock with you. Do you like Aiden? No. Okay. Is that why you don't like Polly? No. All right.
Starting point is 00:01:23 Their interactions didn't help. Okay. But no, I'll get into it. I'll get into it because it's, yeah, we'll talk about it. Bros and shows. I got to have me my pros and shows. Bros and shows. Bros and shows.
Starting point is 00:01:36 I got to have me my Bros and shows. Good afternoon, everybody. Welcome back to another episode of Bros and Shows. I'm your co-host, Steele Russell, joined as always by the one and only, the OG himself, Villa Goots. What's up, dude? Just hype to get back into the villa. So good. Guess what I did.
Starting point is 00:01:55 What? This is how good this show is. You binge it? I didn't. I didn't because I had too much to do today. It's hard to binge it. I had a hard time watching two episodes. I haven't watched the third one.
Starting point is 00:02:06 Oh, you haven't? No. Nice. Because I want to be fresh. Oh, good. Gotta be fresh. But also, it's not really that. It's just that the episodes tend to like bleed into each other.
Starting point is 00:02:14 That's what happened. Yeah. So normally, especially for recording later, because I got a lot to remember, a lot to write down. And when the show ends, I turn it off. Yeah. Because I can't, if it blends with the next episode, then I get confused. I had to start episode three to see the conversation with Stasi and Aden finish. I needed to get the end of the conversation because I was so locked in because it's so fucking bizarre.
Starting point is 00:02:39 It was a hard one to turn off. It was. It's a, like, that's the thing, guys. If you're listening, I'm going to do this every single episode. If you're listening and not watching it. They do it and they did it from episode one to episode two. You're like, I have to figure out what goes on with Bridget. I know.
Starting point is 00:02:53 It's a good marketing scheme It's a great marketing scheme It's like I need to fucking know what's going on Now you know what would make it better What? If we had to wait a fucking week to find out Yeah they gotta fix that Dude drop three and then go weekly
Starting point is 00:03:06 Like why we can't keep doing people's jobs Most shows are doing that now by the way I know and it works Most shows are just like here's a couple episodes HBO is still behind the ball But or Max whatever the hell you want to call it Everything else is like here's two episodes Just to get your beak wet
Starting point is 00:03:22 and then they're going to hit you with a massive cliffhanger after that second one and it's going to make you wait a week. And it works because you know what happens when it's a one episode drop? I tend to get disinterested. When it's a bingeable show, I knock it out in two or three days and then I forget about it. Yeah. Drag this shit out a little bit. It also helps us so we can discuss these shows on a weekly basis.
Starting point is 00:03:40 It's about us, Hulu. It really is about us. But we're also a good tool to use because when we talk about it, it'll be, thank you. It'll be a couple days later. it'll re-invigorate the fan base it'll get more people involved and then they'll come back the next week they'll watch those two episodes and then they'll go into it so look mr hulu it's very short-sighted we've talked to you before we have we've brought this up in the past we're not big fans of you come on mr hulu we want it we want to be but stop dropping them all at
Starting point is 00:04:08 once you've got the content that we want you do you got mom talk you got the operations slow it down slow burn yeah teez us you know stasi show when that comes out just gonna get dumped too there's no that i think it's just i don't understand why i would love to see the numbers behind it like why binging versus dragging it out like what the difference in revenue looks like if they do it again let's just do like a 12 hour stream where we just talk about the whole season i can't do a 12 hour stream but if we did a continuous stream of the entire season of villa i'd have to drink that's fine i would love that by episode eight i'm just just like wasted i think this needs to i think wait a minute we need to
Starting point is 00:04:50 do this with a show. This needs to be a yearly thing and you just get wasted and we talk about whatever season, an entire season of a show in one sit. And we can't leave until we're done. I actually would get pretty fun too. I do think by like episode six or seven or eight
Starting point is 00:05:06 I would re-remember something that we forgot to talk about. And that we get all fucked up. Yeah. This is a good idea. Sounds good. All right. We put that one on your schedules, everybody. Cheese stakes. This is turning into a whole thing. I like this. I like this a lot. We turn off the cameras.
Starting point is 00:05:21 We just hang out. Well, that's just us hanging out now. But anyway. There's video games. Let's get into Villa episode number two. And we left off with Bridget going to talk to LVP. And she's an absolute mess walking into this whole thing. She was a mess when she sat down.
Starting point is 00:05:40 She got no sympathy from Lisa. As she's sitting there sobbing. Lisa, this environment's not good for you. And Bridget, again, is like, you know, I'm sorry. I carried away. I'll do anything, I'll grovel And Lisa's like, ugh, I don't grovel Like, ugh, she respects power.
Starting point is 00:05:56 She doesn't respect the tears. No. She never feels when somebody's sensitive and like vulnerable. Unless you're Tom Sandoval. Yeah, I know. I forgot about that. Everybody else, especially on this show, if you show tears, she's like,
Starting point is 00:06:10 I don't want you in my castle. In my Costello? It's just douchey men. She gives sympathy to. That's true. James, she did it forever. The only time she finally upset. esconded him was after he committed domestic abuse.
Starting point is 00:06:23 Yeah. That's the only time she's saying, I can't stand by that. Finally, there's your line, I guess. But anyway, she gives her the axe. You're fired. Tinfoil that. She's a plant. I'm not saying that she knew she was going to get fired.
Starting point is 00:06:40 The lack of any knowledge of a kitchen being a sous chef, the lack of knowing how to turn on an oven, like, it didn't make sense to me in episode. episode one. Now it does. She said the gloves are off. She hired her to fire her to set the time. Oh, okay. I was thinking a different way. I was thinking she was sent there as a plant to immediately just erupt Marciano and Hannah. Oh, no. I mean, that could be... That's going to happen regardless. That could have been part of it. But I think it could be part of it. I think it could have been part of it. But I do believe, I firmly believe... Somebody went home. I don't remember the first season. Somebody went home early. After the first episode, somebody did go home. They were like homesick. Oh, yeah. Remember
Starting point is 00:07:18 it was the hurricane girl? Her came Brie. Yes. She was gone. Yeah, she was like, yeah, I got to go home. Just so homesick. And it was like after she had just gotten involved with Marciano or something. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:07:29 I forget who she was involved with. Michelle. Yes. So that's my point. Hired to be fired without a doubt to set the tone. I told you I'm not messing around this. She was the girl who was sitting on the couch the wrong way, according to Hannah. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:07:40 Yeah. She was still. There you put your legs up like that around my ex-boyfriend. Creep. Who cheated on me. Yeah. The whole thing's nuts. But yeah, I do believe that that was a setup.
Starting point is 00:07:48 But anyway. We get to Grace. And as we know, we're calling them Ceci, Ciadi and Sianna, Cici. Ciani was given vibes to Grace right before he point Siana. So now Grace feels some type of way, obviously. I don't think she was into him from the jump. At least she claims not to be. No, we do know Grace from last year, too.
Starting point is 00:08:13 I think that she's just a sweet girl. She's one of the more level-headed in the house. She's very level-headed. She doesn't take shit. She learned that last year. She's trying to get that $30,000. Who isn't? But I think that she would have needed more than just the first night.
Starting point is 00:08:27 Also, how's that work? You push the beds together. I know. So like, What are you going to do? Boy, Grace? He's just trying to, he's throwing out lines.
Starting point is 00:08:36 He's casting a wide net. He's playing a dangerous game and it backfires right out of the gate because Ciadi tries to clean up the mess with Grace and goes, you know, it's the drunken love song. Ha ha. No, bro. No.
Starting point is 00:08:48 Like, you don't just get to say that you were drunk and you hooked up after you were spitting game to Grace. And Grace is like, it's all good. Don't worry about it. As soon as he walks away, douchebag. Yeah. Love that move. That's a great move. But this is the other thing.
Starting point is 00:09:02 You're living in a house for the entire summer with your castmates, your coworkers. Why would you think this is not going to get back to Sianna? I have no idea. Like, that's the first season. And I understand he was trying to clean up his mess a little bit by talking to Grace the next day. But to me, that felt more like he was still trying to keep it an option. He's still trying to keep his options. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:09:23 And that's just fuck boy move 101. That's what I thought. I think that's what it is. And I think these newbies, Lisa does a great job of handpicking fuck boys. That's what she wants in the house. I don't think they quite realize what's going to happen when they do their normal maneuvers. Oh, you're right. This is the whole like once they're on camera.
Starting point is 00:09:42 It's the Jesse Solomon. It's the Jesse Solomon theory where it's fuck boys on Bravo get exposed. because they're not used to cameras following their moves. Correct. So they go by the same playbook, and then they get fucked over by themselves because they do something creepy and gross. And they blame the girl.
Starting point is 00:09:57 Bang, right there. Exactly. That's the maneuver that he tried to do. Cameras are up, buddy. We all saw it. Yeah. You gross. But Grace goes and immediately tells Siana.
Starting point is 00:10:09 Of course. It's got to make her feel good. No. It's going to make her feel terrible. But, like, that's Girlcoat. That's a girl's girl right there. And I think the first. fact that we are on night two, not even past night two. This is day two. Yep. And we're our,
Starting point is 00:10:25 I guess it's day three because they got there, they went out. Who gives a shit? Three, yeah. It doesn't matter. It's this early on. It's episode two and this much shit is popping off in the house. That's great TV. So I'm not complaining. I don't know why too, but like I always expect the other girls in the house to react how Hannah would. Yeah, I know, right? Hannah would immediately just call like false flag operation. No way. Yep. You're just trying to get in his pants. You're trying to get me away. You're, yeah, no, I'm not fault. Because you want to bang Marciano.
Starting point is 00:10:51 Wait, what? Why did I get there? But, I don't know. Even though you were here. Look at the Siana. She just pops out of like a plant. Hey. But Siana goes to Siani.
Starting point is 00:11:02 God, that's hard. Cici have a conversation. And the drunk hookup claim comes up. This backpedaling. Yeah. Oh my God. I was like, what are you talking about? He's like, that wasn't my intention.
Starting point is 00:11:16 She's like, clearly you're just trying to keep your options open. He's like, no, actually what I was doing actually was like I was talking to Grace to let her know. Like, I was letting her know like, hey, no, uh, I'm off the table. You can't, that's what I was doing. She must have, she, Grace must have taken it the wrong way. Did you hear my beds being pushed together and then repeatedly getting pushed together? Yeah, like repeatedly way too long and way too loudly pushed together for the entire night. You hear that?
Starting point is 00:11:42 Well, there's no chance here. It's just insane. And then he wants to go to a confessional and drop the therapy one. I've been in therapy for six months because of a bad relationship. Don't take it out on these girls because they're going to have to go to therapy because of you.
Starting point is 00:11:54 And also, shut up. You're belittling therapy. Yeah. Using it as an excuse. It was the worst attempt to clean up a mess like this I've ever seen. That was my next point.
Starting point is 00:12:08 And the fact that she says, I trust people until that trust is broken. Ciani seems like an intentional man. I was like, what do you mean? you just said you trust people until the trust is broken. He broke your trust on the first night you guys hooked up. And you want to say this is an intentional man. And you also just met the guy.
Starting point is 00:12:27 Well, I guess they met at a party prior. Like this does set it up. And again, this is how we watch the show a little differently. It does set it up for more chaos because eventually Ciadi's going to go out and try to hook up with a guest. He's going to be flirting with the Mormon girls. He's going to be bopping all over the place. Probably trying to hook up Grace again. Let's be honest.
Starting point is 00:12:46 That's going to happen. I don't think they're going to hook up. I don't think they're going to hook up because I think Grace has more morals than probably anybody else in the house. It seems like it. Or maybe not Andre, but everybody else. And Anthony.
Starting point is 00:12:56 He doesn't count. Yeah, he's a different. He should get his own. He should, Stasi and Bo have their suite. He should get his own suite somewhere else. He shouldn't be part of this. I would watch a chef Anthony show. If he was running a kitchen, I would watch that.
Starting point is 00:13:07 But yeah, he's in a different level, a different class. But I do agree. I think Grace is the most even keeled. I think that she'll be the most reasonable. That's what we saw last year, at least. but yeah he's definitely going to try to do that again i i would i would make that prediction but we get to my personal favorite this season hagan talking to ashley and they're talking about how ashley came out as bisexual when she was 30 what her goals and aspirations are she wants to be
Starting point is 00:13:31 the black martha stewart she wants the shows the pots the pans all that good stuff i actually really like ashley i love this explanation of what she's going for on this show i like that she's gunning for sous chef now like i'm a big fan of hers fucking Aiden, bro. Like, he just, he comes in so hot with this shit and, like, manspliny, I guess. He's, like, telling her how she should feel about her bisexuality, which I guess it's, like, nice to be supported now that she's talking about it to everybody, but at the same time, like, I didn't care for it. It's coming from the guy who, and this is, these are his words, not mine. Don't say it.
Starting point is 00:14:10 Who's attracted to vibes. Oh, okay, cool. what did you think I was going to do? What I wrote down and have to say shortly because it makes, it's one of the worst sentences ever spoken. But like that's also pretty rough. That's really rough.
Starting point is 00:14:25 Yeah. You know, I don't label. And like, I personally, I don't care. Do whatever the hell you want. Absolutely. When you're on a TV show and you tell me, I'm just attracted to vibes. I hate you.
Starting point is 00:14:35 I do hate you. So here's the thing. And I will say this. Vibes is a bad word to use. Connection. connection makes way more sense and like i have way more grounded i agree and my vibes thing is like pick me stop enough my cousin came out and when i was talking to him and he was explaining it to me that was the what he told me said i'm attracted to people i'm attracted to sexuality yeah like things
Starting point is 00:15:00 like that i was like okay that makes a lot of sense i get that so i agree vibes is like a very it's a douchebag it's like you're still a fuck boy yeah that's what it sounds that's what you're gonna be yeah you're gonna annoy me connection i get vibes is a weird weird thing to say. An even weirder thing to say is, I am a human clitoris. I hate it. I hate that I had to write that. I'm going to make you say that. I know, I just, it sucks, man. I really don't like it. And he's very confusing as well, because he says that he worked in hospitality his whole entire life. He keeps talking about carrots for some reason. By the way, I wouldn't be able to find a clitoris. No chance. Sure. It's neither here nor there. Stop saying.
Starting point is 00:15:42 it. But like, I, he claims to have worked in hospitality. Later, I call that into question, but the carrots, do you want, what's the carrots? I don't know, man. This is also the second episode we've talked about carrots, but in a totally different way. He's talking about vibes with carrots, bro. What do you, with a big fucking stuffed carrot? What's going on? What is the carrots? I don't know, I don't want to know. He needs to go on with those carrots. Here's the thing. And I think everyone could take a lesson from this. You got to listen to the GPS in yourself, okay? Listen to the GPS within you and carrots, baby.
Starting point is 00:16:22 That's all it is. That's all that matters. But let's get to the staff meeting before I have an aneurysm. Who calls it a GPS anymore? Whatever. Oh, it's staff meeting. We're at the staff meeting. Bridget's gone.
Starting point is 00:16:34 And it looks like we have a little competition in the works between Dominic and Ashley for Sue Chef, which makes sense. some, that'll be fun to watch those two go after. But the guests, and I forgot the format of this show. I love the format of this show. It's so easy to follow. They have a guest.
Starting point is 00:16:53 It's similar to below deck. These are the people coming in. We got some Olympians coming in. We got Kara and Polly from the challenge. Polly, obviously, a lot of people know. Kara, a lot of people know as well. They are dating, I guess. I was very confused.
Starting point is 00:17:06 I think they're dating. I was confused about the crew that was coming up because when they said, yeah, we're in France. The Olympics just ended. We've got some Olympians coming up. I'm like, cool. The volleyball guy definitely looks like an Olympian. Yeah. I was very cool with the idea of Olympians coming up. Same. And then we've got two people from the challenge. I'm like, why? Why are these all together? Why are they? I guess they might be friends. They know each other? It seems like they were kind of cool. I don't think they know each other. I don't know if they know each other either. But why are they headlining it? I don't know.
Starting point is 00:17:35 Olympians should headline. I would provide. I was like, in France during the summer Olympics. Why, I was excited about the Olympians, and then when she said challenge, I'm like, oh. Yeah, I was hoping. And when they took the reins on everything and they were the centerpiece for, I didn't like it. Yeah, I didn't either. But we go over the ground rules for the weekend, this is what we're looking, or for the night, I guess. First, we have a strip and dip activity, which I didn't, I don't know what made it strippy and dippy. I guess the dip is the pool, but I don't know what else is going on.
Starting point is 00:18:02 The claim that that's an Olympic-sized pool is the craziest thing I've ever heard in my life. Remotly close. No. And to end the night is just, you know, an Italian dinner. So it's a pretty easy day for everybody. Get their, get their feet wet, first night of service, all that good stuff. So we're gold flaked anything? No gold flakes. So we're already trending. Mark ourselves from gold flakes. Trending in the right direction. First time this week. So yeah. We've had multiple wins. That's right. We've had two in a row gold flake shows. But you can get protein at home or a protein latte at Tim's. No powders, no blenders, no shakers. Starting at 17 grams, For Medium Latte, Tim's new protein lattes, Protein Without All the Work, at participating restaurants in Canada. They got Willa.
Starting point is 00:18:45 They got my daughter. I need to find her. Willa! From acclaimed director, Paul Thomas Anderson. You can save that girl. On September 26th, experience what is being called the best movie of the year.
Starting point is 00:18:57 This is at the end of the line. Not for you. Leonardo DiCaprio, Sean Pan, Benicio del Toro, Tiana Taylor, Chase Infinity. Let's go! Here I'm come. One battle.
Starting point is 00:19:07 After another. Only in theater September 26th. Experience it in IMAX. You came out. Aw, hi, buddy. Who's the best? You are. I wish I could spend all day with you instead.
Starting point is 00:19:24 Uh, Dave, you're off mute. Hey, happens to the best of us. Enjoy some goldfish cheddar crackers. Goldfish have short memories. Be like goldfish. They're prepping for the evening. This is the funniest part, and it took me a while to realize, and I had to go back and cross his name out and rewrite it.
Starting point is 00:19:45 You're going to like this. I kept confusing Aiden with a gentleman from Love Hotel. Can you guess which one? Oh, fuck. His name's not Jamie. I know who it is. Nicholas. Yeah, Nicholas.
Starting point is 00:20:00 I wrote down Nicholas so many times because they give the same vibes. Yeah, same vibes. But they're getting everything set up. attracted to those vibes? Vibes, baby. Carrots and vibes. It's all I'm about. You know that.
Starting point is 00:20:12 You know that about me? Deb knows that about me. Just give me a bag of carrots and some good vibes, and that's a good time. A horse? It's our second episode of the day. Bear with us. But we got the pool floaties,
Starting point is 00:20:26 and we got a problem because the pump dies. Plug it in. Plug it in. What are we doing? It's funnier for them to blow it up, though. It was fucking nuts. And like, when they showed it,
Starting point is 00:20:36 Because I'm thinking in my head, I'm like, oh, maybe it's something that, like, will actually die. Yeah. That looked like something that is new enough to have, like, a USB port. Plug the fucking thing in and then blow them up. It would honestly take less time to just do something else for a half hour and charge it and then blow them up than watching all these people struggle. I love the editing tricks on these. Five minutes. Five minutes. Five minutes.
Starting point is 00:20:58 It's probably like two hours before they get it. I know. They do that with every single. Not that it doesn't, I mean, it does suck to try to blow them up manually. Yeah, absolutely. But like, what are we doing? You'll notice every episode, and that's how it was last season. When a new guest arrives, it's always down to the wire.
Starting point is 00:21:13 They're running out of time, but... The only time it's true is when somebody is dicking around or sleeping, when there should be working. That will happen to. That's true. That already did happen, actually. It happened right now. Lisa's going over the drinks with Andre at the bar, and he gives one of the worst drink offerings, or maybe one of the best. It sounded good.
Starting point is 00:21:33 I don't know. I was intrigued. Such a great experience. experience, experience you've never had in your mouth is how he ended it. I mean, dude, he fit in great on our show. Here? Yeah. On brosal shows?
Starting point is 00:21:46 That's how. If we, if one of us was on the spot and we had to explain a drink. Oh, yeah. One of us would say that. And then we'd end it with, oops. That sounded bad. Yeah. Yeah, we do that.
Starting point is 00:21:56 You're right. We do that a lot. We always reel it in. That's what he did too. So you're right. Oh, yeah. It took me a second to get there, but I'm there with you. But Aden's asleep.
Starting point is 00:22:05 André talks about how he wants to win this. He's got a six-year-old son. He wants that 30K in the job, all that good stuff. Six-year-old son watched the show last year. This is worse than anything, by the way. Why is he watching the show? This is worse than anything I've heard. And there's been a lot of weird shit.
Starting point is 00:22:18 He shouldn't watch the show. Your six-year-old son should not be watching the show. No, we should barely be watching the show. Yeah. Yeah, that was an interesting choice. But I guess, like, I don't know. You're proud. Like, hey, son.
Starting point is 00:22:29 Did he watch the whole season? He won last year. That's a different thing. If he saw some clips, of you on the show. His one thing was like, he made fun of me crying. Yeah. I was like, okay.
Starting point is 00:22:41 Uh-huh. But did he watch the whole thing? Did he watch you and Gabriella? Oh, God. Well, you don't need to, let's just assume no. Let's assume, because I like, I really like Andre. So let's assume no. But hey, there's five minutes left, guys.
Starting point is 00:22:54 There's five minutes left. And the guests are getting there. He's to blow up. Yeah, we're not doing well. They show the picture of like all the flamingos and stuff still deflated. I'm like, oh, God, what are we going to do? What if there's not an extra swan in the pool? But we get to the arrival, and you get Kara Maria, I believe.
Starting point is 00:23:10 There's a Kara Maria, Maria, and Polly walk in. Again, zero issue with aesthetics whatsoever. Not a problem. You want to wear a crop top? You want to wear a pina. You want to wear a, what do they call it now? We call them pennies. But the same thing?
Starting point is 00:23:26 Tank tops. With the whole shirts, the shirts with holes in them. Yeah. I don't know if it's still a thing or not. But, yeah, I don't have an issue with that at all. They walk in and the sentiment with the OGs from last season is the same, Marciano, I'm going to prove how good I am, how disciplined I am, as he drops a cup on the ground, picks it up and wipes it off of the rag, and puts it back.
Starting point is 00:23:47 That's how disciplined you are. Wash it, you gross bastard. No, it's not. No, it's not. But immediately, Aiden and Polly crop top talk and flirting, what do you do? What do you do here? I'm serving food and looks. But here's why I don't like Polly.
Starting point is 00:24:08 The way the back and forth with it, I didn't care for. It's like I'm totally fine with people being comfortable with their sexuality, being open about it, talking about it, joking about it here and there. If that's your entire shtick is that any grown-up conversation you have with another adult is sexual, I think it's fucking annoying. I don't think it's gross. I don't think it's anything else. I just get really irritated. I'm like, are we going to have to listen to this for the next 30 minutes, just you and Aiden making sex jokes back and forth?
Starting point is 00:24:39 Because that's going to irritate the shit out of me. It's so one-dimensional. That's my issue. He's a one-dimensional person. Like, even like the way that he talks in the room, it's like it's hot. Can you get the staff to bring in a human fan? No, not the air conditioning. Oh, you didn't get that, yeah.
Starting point is 00:24:54 The human fan. Again, sexual, weird. No, you don't get a human fan. and actually in this situation Lisa probably would give you a human fan What are you A helicopter?
Starting point is 00:25:05 Are you pictured Is that what he was picturing? No I think he was saying What the fuck's wrong with you? I think he was saying Like somebody A human being with some object
Starting point is 00:25:21 To be fair I wasn't think I don't think I was actually going to say it But you did see a look on my face And ask me what I was thinking I just fell. Did I? Yeah. Oh, I don't even remembers.
Starting point is 00:25:31 Oh, God. Second episode. We're going to keep trudging through everybody. I'm so sorry. But Hagan clocks it immediately. He goes, these guests are going to be terrible. This is going to be a disaster. And I agree with him.
Starting point is 00:25:41 But Stasi and Bo go out to the pool and LVP pull Stasi aside to give a little Marciano update. And I actually really enjoy Stasi drawing comparisons to the Jacks and Stasi situation from early Vanderpump. Yeah. It makes me really happy. And there is a lot of similarity. here. But she's telling LVP about the night before.
Starting point is 00:26:01 I almost said Stasi and Jax. You had Marciano and Hannah screaming at each other back and forth saying like, all right, guys, you need to get your shit together and her saying like, look, I've been there. I'm like, you have. Take Hannah under your wing and get her away from this cycle. Not that she's much better. She isn't.
Starting point is 00:26:17 But he's the one that cheated. So I'm Team Hanna. I'm team Hanna. I'll be on Hanna's 55%. Yeah. Because they're both just kind of shitty, which is what makes it so entertaining but the way that they're trying to wheel and deal this thing cracked me up it's like LEP's like Hannah's off why don't we have her go sit next to that that Olympian volleyball player and order a drink from Marciano I'm like fuck yeah they do that but instead they're already flirting by
Starting point is 00:26:44 the pool and they were already doing it I did I really wanted to see Marciano have to bring them a drink though that would have made that would have been incredible but we get Aiden and Polly again and about pumping, I'm the pumper and I don't know what they're talking about. I guess they were referencing the pool toys. Yeah, I guess. No, Aiden was sleeping the whole time. He didn't, dude, the fact that he went this whole day
Starting point is 00:27:09 and didn't clue in at any point, like, I should probably go help instead of jumping and doing flips in the pool with the guests. Yeah. You're there for 30K and a job, pal. Do your goddamn job. I don't know. After taxes. You're there for
Starting point is 00:27:23 12K. 17K. Yeah, for fucking this economy. there for you're there for food stamps but he pisses off like everybody because they're all running around trying to get their shit together trying to get service ready aden's chilling so now the whole entire house hates him and he has the balls later to ask why people hate him but hannah i think if he he was cool about it because like he was off yeah right again if i liked him i would have probably been on his side and then like he's off there's going to be retribution at some point you guys are going to be able to be off and go bop around. And if you want to go work while you do that,
Starting point is 00:27:58 that's your prerogative. Go ahead, do whatever. But I don't like Aiden. So you're on my team. So I'm on your team. Okay, cool. I'm like, fuck that. Do what Hannah does later. Get your clothes back on. Go do some dishes. Yeah. And like with 20 minutes to go, then you do it. Keep like, I did. I tried. Do something. Just do anything. I'm the opposite of you because I couldn't sit there and relax if people were working. I would, I would feel, yeah. I would feel like I'm not doing my part. But Hannah goes up to Marciano's like, hey, you guys need help. He's like, there's fucking 20, like, that's the problem, all right? Because I do understand the pool thing happened because Hannah went to the pool and started yelling at him.
Starting point is 00:28:32 Yeah. His responses and how he starts conversations with her is a problem as well because she's like, hey, you need any help? He's like, there's fucking 20 minutes left. They could fucking do that earlier. Then she's like, well, you need to fucking communicate. It's just every conversation that they have. I imagine this is what it's like in real life, too. Oh, yeah, for sure.
Starting point is 00:28:48 This is how their relationship. So they talk. This is how it always was. And then they would have like love, bomby, weird sex. and then it would be cool for like 20 minutes and then somebody would piss somebody off. But let's get to dinner service. Again, Aden's not working.
Starting point is 00:29:02 Hannah's tapped in fully at this point trying to help out. Every single employee in the house seems to be doing something to try and help out. The other issue is the kitchen is way too far away from where they're eating. So now communication's falling apart. Chef didn't come out to explain the menu.
Starting point is 00:29:18 So now Lisa's like, oh, shit, what's going on? She goes to the kitchen and he's like, this is a fucking disaster. The front of the house is disorganized. There's no communication. There's no schedule. There's no timing. Timing is important when you're cooking so the food gets out there hot.
Starting point is 00:29:31 It's all just a disaster. And the only thing to make that worse is if you have one of your servers carrying the plates out to LVP's table and crosses by her dickhead ex-boyfriend on the way and they decide to have words during dinner service. That would probably make things a little bit less smooth. Yeah, I would imagine. Imagine. And that's what happens. Yeah. They start going back and forth again.
Starting point is 00:29:53 you get the camera of Lisa and Stasi, like just reacting to this whole thing, setting up for the conversation that we get to see later. But I do think genuinely, and I'm curious your take on this, I would imagine 99.9% of all the dinner services at the villa always go fine. Oh, I'm sure they do. And it just... I think Jeff Anthony's job, because he doesn't really get involved in any of the shit, is to just act like everything's fucked up.
Starting point is 00:30:18 You think that he's just, hey, I'm going to come in here and you just... I think everything could be running so smoothly. And like, yes, obviously we have the Marcy. on a hand a thing, but everything could be running perfectly. And, yeah, obviously, they're the hardest working people there, the people in the kitchen. But his job is when LVP comes in, act like everything's wrong. If you see my face during a dinner service, have a meltdown.
Starting point is 00:30:37 Everything's fucked up. Yeah, I think that's probably what goes on because we've, I think we saw one dinner last year that was like genuinely fucked up by arguing. Yes. I can't remember. I think most of them went. Most of them went fine. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:30:50 The other part is the comment cards. always go fine. Yes, they do. Was there one last year that didn't go well? There's some that, like, they'll pick out, like, certain people and say they didn't do enough. I was pretty pissed that we didn't get more comment card. I'm assuming we get that next episode. We only got one review.
Starting point is 00:31:08 No, probably just that. That was my favorite part. Oh, no, they'll have the morning debrief afterwards, probably. And then she, okay, good, because I really like the comment cards. That was my favorite part of the show. But anyway, they're having a game night. I refuse to say Castella Rosario. because I think it's a stupid name.
Starting point is 00:31:23 It's okay. It's a game night at a castle, and they're playing truth, dare, or drink, pretty much. Everyone has a good time. They're all bopping around having fun. And who shows up ready to fucking party? Aiden's there. Don't worry, everybody.
Starting point is 00:31:39 Aiden's here to save the day. He hasn't done his shit all day long, but he's there for the party and everything. I mean, the scene's fun. It's funny. There's not a whole lot to report. Andre gets a dare. He has to do a dance.
Starting point is 00:31:50 He doesn't do a dance. Somebody just dances on him. and Gabriela does a dance on Mike, I think. But yeah, that's really all that happens there. But we get to after service. And Grace and Hannah, they had a couple of altercations last season, a couple of altercations. They weren't that tight,
Starting point is 00:32:07 but it looks like they're going to be friends this season, which I actually like that duo. I think that Hannah's crazy mixed in with Grace's mellowness. Should work? It could make for a fun time. I think they'll be a good duo. And here's the thing, because we talked about
Starting point is 00:32:23 Ciadi a little bit. We get more of his backstory earlier than the episode. He's a military brat bopped around and he's there to work hard. I do agree with that. His work ethic seems to be there. I also think this. If he couples up with Siana, that's really hard. It's okay. But if he couples up with
Starting point is 00:32:39 Siana, he will win 30K because he'll keep his head down and work. Yeah. And he won't be like worried about the other shit. I just don't see that happening. I do think that the whole like English accent thing is a precursor. That's the dude. I think if the rest of the house finds out about it, they're going to flip and they're going to read into it in a completely
Starting point is 00:32:55 different way. They should. Like he's lying about his whole life. What else is he lying about? That's what I would assume. I hope that that's what happens for my entertainment. But I agree with you. If he's able to just couple up, we saw that with Andre last year. I mean, him and Gabriello were hitting it off. And yeah, there were a couple like bumps at the road. She hooked up
Starting point is 00:33:11 with a guest. He was flirting with some people. But for the most part, he kind of kept his head down and worked the whole time. Siotti could do that. He could. If he wants that 30K and a job, he definitely could be the guy, especially after his performance here, I think he's going to shoot himself in the foot a little bit. He's also
Starting point is 00:33:27 got the easiest track, too. Honestly, he's the one who's showing them around. He sets up the games. He makes sure all those things go fun. He probably just bops around a little bit at dinner. Just refills wine, maybe. He's helping serve some things. He brought some drinks out. That's all you have to do. It's the easiest path. Yeah,
Starting point is 00:33:43 but he does it well. He just needs to follow that if he wants to win that 30K. But we find out that they did meet previously, because we were curious. about that last episode. They did meet previously at a party. Sianna's actually the one that referred him to LVP to be on the show. So there you go. And she's like stunned that that happened. She's like, I can't believe she picked him. It's like, of course she picked them. Yeah. So there could be drama. She actively fucked up your relationship with this man by inviting
Starting point is 00:34:12 him on the show. If you really wanted to date him, LVP just threw a wrench into that. So that's on her. We're back poolside with Bo Stasi and Hannah and Stasi pulls hand to the side to give her a little talk about stupid boy decisions. Starts talking about Marciano. Like, what's the deal here? She's like, I love him. I don't know why. He's done terrible things. He cheated.
Starting point is 00:34:31 He steals my confidence, this, that, the other. Her advice is great. You're in fucking Italy. You're not here for this dude. Live it up. Leave him alone. Why do you care so much? She's been through it.
Starting point is 00:34:44 She knows what she's talking about. She dated the argument. arguably the biggest narcissist on all of TV. Take the advice. Yeah. Move on. Don't move on. We want to see it.
Starting point is 00:34:54 This is what Stasi's here for. Yeah, exactly. And I think that she's going to get better as this show goes on. I think she's going to find her groove a little bit with what this role is. I think now you're still seeing her be like very not timid, but it seems, it's more polished, you know, than I want to. I agree. I'm not. I'm not criticizing. It just seems more polished than I wanted to. I wanted to be a little bit
Starting point is 00:35:21 more raw and like, fuck that guy. Like, that's what I wanted to get to. Yeah. I assume we'll get there eventually, but we get to the morning after. Everyone's pissed off at eight and understandably so. Hannah and Marciano get called into the principal's office going through the same shit. You promised it would be different. Marciano says it's Hannah's fault. What I noticed here, because Marciano immediately obviously points to be, she keeps following talking to me and like, going to me. Hannah didn't say anything. Nope.
Starting point is 00:35:49 She was sat there, she listened, she nodded. I'm like, different Hannah? Possibly. That would be cool. Maybe the Stasi conversation sunk in a little bit. At least for this conversation it did, but it was nice to see. And she's like, I don't want to get rid of you, too. It's like they had 15 fireball offenses last year.
Starting point is 00:36:07 What more do you need to see from these two to realize if you're actually running a business here that these are not the people to hire? Don't fire them for our sake. but like just don't cross paths guys what what how's that going to work i don't think so like genuinely how do you not cross paths different shifts different ships shifts shifts oh shifts yeah that still doesn't make sense nope you're still in the same house that none of it makes sense don't cross paths but we get a quick checking with tyler and lexie we haven't gotten a lot from tyler yet no so now he's getting a little bit more camera time him and lexie hit it off out of the gate lexie's from hawai she's a bartender in wikiki beach
Starting point is 00:36:43 her parents have both been married four times she's trying to break the streak I think I like that we heard this backstory in the first episode and then got it to get in the second episode you think we'll get it in the third I hope so I hope we get it every time every single time just so we know in case you forget who she is exactly
Starting point is 00:36:58 but they definitely hit it off so we'll see where that one goes here's the important thing to note watching this show you want to see who's getting coupled up early a guest is going to fuck that up yes they're going to invite a guest intentionally to
Starting point is 00:37:11 tend to stagger yeah go you know it's going to be guy heavy. We got Olympic volleyball players and Polly. Then we got mom talk. Then we got mom talk. Then we're going to get dudes again. And then we get dudes again. Yeah. It's going to go back and forth to continue to ruin any kind
Starting point is 00:37:25 of relationship anybody potentially has, which is what we will. LVP doesn't want you guys coupling up. No, she wants. She wants chaos. She wants Marciano and Hannah, but eight of them. Yeah. Yeah. So like, that's what's going to continue to happen. But this was the most bizarre thing ever. And you told me about this.
Starting point is 00:37:40 seeadi and Lisa have a conversation she says to him when I interviewed you you had a lovely British accent and the way that she's going about it too is very much like not calling attention to how weird it is but more so saying you can be yourself
Starting point is 00:37:56 you can be who you want to be here and he's like yeah but you know there's two people that live inside of me yeah you don't have different voices for different people inside of you also as we found out he was born and where Portland Seattle Yeah, Seattle. He was born in Seattle.
Starting point is 00:38:11 He did bop around because his mom was in the military, so he followed her around. But, like, you don't change your accent. No. Like, here's the, like, when I go to Texas, if I'm there for, like, a week. Yeah, you get the drawback. A little bit, right? Like, I'll have a little twang, certain words. But I'm not like, hey there, goots.
Starting point is 00:38:29 Glad to be back from Texas. It's one of my favorite things when you come back and you still have a little bit of it. A little twang. Yeah. You don't go full accent shift. Nope. And then for her to call it out and him be like, like, he just laughed. He's like, ha ha ha ha. I would do what you said earlier. If I found this out
Starting point is 00:38:47 about this, man, I would question everything. If I'm Siani, Siana, damn, Siana. Close. That's the first time I got it wrong. Siana, I would think that this man's a psycho. Like, what else you're lying about? Yeah, I just, I really do hope that because we keep pressing it. And obviously, it's very quirky. It's very weird. It's very interesting. And the fact that Lisa picked up on it right away, she said, what the fuck is this? Of course you did. But now we're two episodes in. we've talked about it a couple of times. I want the rest of the house to find out. They do.
Starting point is 00:39:13 They have to. There's a scene, uh, episode one. If you watch the whole like scene from this season. Yeah. They're sitting at a table and somebody brings up that fact. I didn't watch that, but good. The reactions from people who is quick, then it cuts off, but the reaction is very much like, what?
Starting point is 00:39:28 Good. What a weird thing to do. I can't wait for that. Because that's the thing. Like, it's harmless. No one's getting hurt by it. You're just changing your accent, but it's such a strange thing to lie about. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:39:37 That I'm, I'm, yeah, that's going to be. a fun scene to watch, but we get to the comment cards themselves. Aiden gives Polly a love letter. Okay, fine. Sure. They're just, I guess they really hit it off. So it's a love...
Starting point is 00:39:50 Crop top daddy. And what do you write? We don't have to do it. Okay, fine. Yeah. I just wrote two idiots on the same page. I want to relive it. There's two idiots on the same page because Polly ends up
Starting point is 00:40:03 writing him a letter back. Here, I'll be nice for one second. Okay? One second, I'll be nice. If he truly found somebody that reflects how he feels about himself and felt seen for the first time in a while, good for you. But that goes against his whole principle because now he's attracted to connections. That's not vibes. I don't know what's going on with this guy.
Starting point is 00:40:25 I really don't, man. It's very strange, but we get to the departure. The verbal reviews are good. We haven't gotten to the comment cards. And when we do, the only thing that we get back is that Ciadi was the star staff member, which I could see. he did a good job, and he gets the night off on LVP's dime, and he gets to pick three people. Yep.
Starting point is 00:40:44 He picks Chef, Siana, obviously. And Tyler. And Tyler. Yep. Makes a lot of sense. I thought it was going to be, I thought it was going to go, like, double date. Oh, who? You're going to bring Lexi.
Starting point is 00:40:57 Oh, Tyler and Lexi. That would have been a good move. Yeah. But I like the move of bringing Chef. I did give him a break. If you're on, we've seen this before. Give him a break, one. But also, if you're on his good side, that's a good place to be.
Starting point is 00:41:07 Did it also seem like he was annoyed at. the table. Yeah, he didn't want to be there. Right? I think he did. I don't think he wanted to be there with them. Yeah, no, he a thousand percent wanted to be there. Orvieto. Yeah, or Vietto. He didn't want to actually be with those. That's what it felt like. I think he just seemed kind of like, man. I think he'd rather go with like Ashley and Dominic. People from the kitchen. Probably. Probably. But, you know, he gets a night off, which is good. Good for him. Ontario. The weight is over. Starting point is 00:43:19 i've been sprinting around all morning 730 i was up doing my thing it's nine you've been working for an hour and a half i'm just going to get a quick pump in it's gonna hit the gym real quick guys but if you need me i'm right there and they're like where the fuck was this yesterday this is what we needed from you yesterday he's like what are you talking about i had off he's like a lot of people did and they jumped into help and he's like that's in the past come on just wish i could live in his head like how to have that mentality like where it's never your fault yeah it's just like that's in the past man you guys talking about we're moving forward yesterday all he's gone today yeah where's your internal GPS i'm gonna go hit the gym you guys stay vibing and then he walks out of the
Starting point is 00:44:05 fucking room after they call him out and Sam Sam seems all business as well I think that which is probably why we haven't seen a lot from him we really haven't yeah I didn't know his name until this seat because it showed the card and I was like oh Sam okay somebody commented and said uh Sam reminds me looks and voice of steel wow yeah he's a handsome all that yeah I'll take that yeah thanks thanks guys thanks one person that said that defense is if you need something from me, just tell me, which is the stupidest thing in the world. Just do it. I even wrote a Nike swoosh. Oh, just do it. Yeah, just do it. But we get
Starting point is 00:44:46 to Tyler and Ciadi invites him to go to the thing, but he does it in a way I thought being respectful. I thought so too. Hey, man, come over here. How we're going to go into town? I don't want to bum other people out, but I'm going to, it's you and two other people. All right, cool. Marciano, who's just a jealous dick, he's like, this guy's so fucking shady. He's so fucking shady the way he's moving he thinks that he's going to like come in here and be like the hot shot to LVP all he's done is talk about showing up
Starting point is 00:45:12 for LVP and he's yet to do anything Yeah he hasn't done anything of anything Honestly he's just pretty much the same person he was last year so it's not the new Marciato He's literally the same person but again If you were invited You wouldn't be doing this correct You would actually probably be encouraging more shadiness
Starting point is 00:45:28 Yes hey who else you're gonna bring Yeah well we'll go pull him beside That's exactly what would have A thousand percent yeah But he's walking around talking to other people, like, can you believe this fucking guy? Like, trying to turn, if anybody... If he is.
Starting point is 00:45:40 If anyone listens to Marciano and, like, agrees with him, they're stupid to. Yeah. And I'm going to be out on them as well. There's no reason to be mad about this. You didn't get picked. And the way that he did it, like, I think it's funny when Hagan's talking about it later in the kitchen. Also, by the way, I get it, you know, you're not going into town.
Starting point is 00:45:56 You don't have a guest to get until tomorrow morning. Right. So you guys do have the night off. Right. Yeah, you have to clean up and probably prep dinner for Stasi and Bo. But then you can booze and hang out by the pool. It's not that fucking deal. And I'm sure there's going to be a day when you have the day off that you can go into Orvietto and hang out. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:46:13 So this whole thing I thought was just him being like a little butt hurt bitch. And I just wrote down that he has SDE, which is not little dick energy, but smallest dick energy. Oh, okay. Yeah, I think that he is the owner of the smallest penis that we've seen on TV. So that's my call. But we're in Orvieto and you get CC, it's super romantic. romantic. It could have been a boy's night, but he invited me to go. And I just, that makes my heart flutter. I'm like, God, he's going to fuck you over so bad. You already forgot that he was
Starting point is 00:46:42 flirting with grace and trying to get her to go to bed with them. But yeah, sure. Yesterday. Two days ago. Sorry, got, that stuff. But like, I don't know. And it's just, it's confusing to me because she seems to get it. But when she says things like, you know, she lays out the ground rules like, this is what I'm looking for. Just come correct. It's like, I did. And she's like, I'm like, oh, so you still are aware that he tried to fuck somebody else the night that he fucked you, but we're still... I got the vibe that she's just going to give him a hard time
Starting point is 00:47:10 for now. She's like, I got to give him a little bit of a hard time. We're still going to like... Just risky, no? I don't know. I don't think it's going to pan out well. And she seems really nice. It's like I don't want her to get fucked over. Which means I don't want this to work.
Starting point is 00:47:22 Right. Yeah. Yeah, for her sake. In the long run. I got you. I don't think Ciadi's a bad dude. No. He's not good...
Starting point is 00:47:29 He's not nice to women. Yeah. The way that he's doing this. Also, you shouldn't be looking for love. Not even have some fun. It's the villa. You're an Orvieto. Go hang out.
Starting point is 00:47:36 Look at Andre and Gabriela. Boom. How are they up to? Yeah. I don't know. I'm actually, when are we going to get back into that one? That one I'm actually invested in. Yeah, I don't know what's going to happen.
Starting point is 00:47:45 I like both of them. But at the end of the episode, you get Hagan and Hannah and, you know, this is going to be a sticking point. This is the one where I'm like, ooh, okay, because I did see it when he's talking and addressing the whole group. Hagan points out how Ciotti talked to everybody. after he got the Gold Star Award, if we will. As though he was the manager. He's telling him, like, hey, guys, we all did a great job. Way to come together.
Starting point is 00:48:09 Hagen. Hagen worked in 9 to 5. Hagen worked in finance. And he's stunned. He is flummoxed. I think that's a really bad look to get. And, like, the way that he's carrying himself at dinner even after they said that, I'm like, oh, he does think he's hot shit, doesn't he? That's going to bite him.
Starting point is 00:48:24 That's not going to work. Because if LVP catches wind, she's going to knock him down about 18 pegs. Yep. but the episode ends which is why I needed to watch the beginning of episode three just to see what this conversation turned into it was Stasi and Aden
Starting point is 00:48:40 because Aden's outside alone crying and he goes into why he's crying he's like what's going on and he's like you know I just need people to like no one see me for who I am and it's really hard for me to make connections here and I'm this this person
Starting point is 00:48:56 this is how I operate and you know I don't want to paint everybody. I'm not, well, I am an artist, but I don't want to paint anybody with the same brush strokes. Stasi doesn't know what he's talking about. Yeah. It's a very confusing word salad of riddles that he's trying to sound deep and worldly and cultured and it just makes him sound dumb and ignorant. Yeah. Finally, she gets it in the next episode. I don't want to spoil where this conversation goes to, but what I will say, he doesn't get why people don't, it has nothing to do with your quirks? No. At all. It has nothing to do with who you are as a person, how you express
Starting point is 00:49:35 yourself. You're a self-centered asshole. You don't help. Yeah. That's it. That's it. That's the problem. Do something. And you'll probably be more well-liked. Do your job, Aiden. Don't, you're not there for a vacation. Strix me as another person that just can't handle the villa, you know? You know, a lot of people aren't cut out for the villa. Mm-hmm. You know, we would be. We'd be great. Yeah. We would be the best employees there, and it wouldn't be that difficult to do. It's not, yeah. But, you know, but, But, yeah, Aiden's... I don't know if I have it in me to booze that hard and then go work. Not now.
Starting point is 00:50:04 Food and Bev. Oh, like 10 years ago? Yeah, I could. 10 years ago, shit, I'd be drunk on the job. I'd be doing a great job. But, yeah, no. No, not anymore. No, I don't think you got it in you, pal.
Starting point is 00:50:15 Need sleep. Yeah, I don't think you got it in. I'm sorry to say that, but, you know, you got to hang it up at some point. At some point. But, yeah, it's just a good show, man. It's so entertaining. Like, I, if you're not watching,
Starting point is 00:50:27 just throw it on in the background, I promise you at some point you're going to get sucked in. Yep. That's my challenge. How about that? We'll end this episode with that. My challenge to you, if you're still listening and you're not watching, Pilla, put on season one episode one and go about your day, do what you're doing, laundry,
Starting point is 00:50:40 whatever it is you're doing. Bet me you get hooked at some point. You're going to hear something and go, what? If you work at home, throw it on the background. You will get no work done. You won't get anything done, which isn't that the goal? I'll give you a gold star for that. We both will.
