Bros & Shows - Peach Shaped Devices In Atlanta (RHOA Full Recap S17 Reunion Part 2)
Episode Date: August 19, 2026What's up bros?? What a pleasure it is to have a thoroughly entertaining reunion for a housewives franchise. Shoutout the ATL ladies because we're having a great time not only talking about the reunio...n but more importantly watching it. Shamea is a lost cause but we think if she could simply just drop the victim crap she might actually be a good housewife, unfortunately, that's never going to change but the rest of these ladies killed it! Once again, Atlanta, proving that they are peak form right now.
Great reunion episode.
Did we accomplish a whole lot between episode one and two?
Not really.
Did I find myself wildly entertained?
Yes, I did.
Yeah, this is the most entertaining reunion show that Bravo has right now.
That's the one thing that we've been bringing.
We said it last year.
Even in a weird, defunct season, the reunion still brought it because they can just bring it.
There's such a great cast going on here.
And the best part is you can tell Andy is having the time of his life.
He doesn't have to do a whole lot except for some peacekeeping here and there.
They have to rain him on.
Yeah, try to rein them in.
I mean, there's not a whole lot you can do, especially when the moms start coming out.
It's over.
Portia and Shania talking about their moms.
You do not want to get in between that one.
But Andy's having a great time.
I mean, syntheties beat drop.
What a time we had.
Did we accomplish anything, though, is the question.
And yeah, the answer is no.
Absolutely not.
I mean, the real question is, do we have to accomplish anything?
Nah, no.
As there's a drive in a deep left field by Castellanos.
Oh man, it's 8 o'clock.
And so that'll make it a...
I don't need the spotlight.
I shine just fine.
Hi, I'm Karma.
And yes, I am a bitch.
Brob Bros.
Good evening, everybody.
Welcome back to another episode of Rob Bros.
Almost said Bros and Shows.
Your favorite podcast from The Bros.
Or everybody, whoever wants to listen, I have your co-host.
Neil Russell, joined as always by the while.
and only a studer Magouter. What's up, dude?
It's a bit of a culture shock, bros and shows.
You know why that came up?
Today is no big deal.
My sobriety date, and I was looking at some of the videos I've done in the past about
today and the last one I watched, had a pros and shows reference.
And I was like, oh, interesting.
I think that was stuck in my head.
Okay, that makes sense.
Yeah.
Even still, while we were doing that, we still had a hard time saying,
Bros and shows, we would say brafros now.
We didn't really have that weird, you know, adjustment period.
Everybody's going to have to hang with me this episode.
I'm pretty sick.
And loopy.
Oh, yeah.
Shooter McFluiter over there.
Yeah, yes.
Yeah.
Loopy on flu medication.
Hopefully this one goes away sooner or else this is going to be a very odd week.
And if I am still loopy by the time the valley comes out later this week, oh, God.
I don't know what to expect.
It might be ideal.
I don't want to set a precedent, though, where I have.
have to be. I kind of did set a precedent, actually, if I'm thinking about it, because I got
drunk in the summer and did an episode. You should get drunk for the finale. I don't think I
should if I'm taking this much flu medication. You're an angry drunk. That's a terrible
mix for my body, my mind, and my soul. And, you know, my soul is what I think about them.
Anyway, um, so Atlanta, what a time. What a time, what a time that was had by these women.
And honestly, this was just flat out entertaining.
It was, you didn't really have to like understand.
There was one moment which we'll get into with Pinky and Fadra that was just downright
confusing.
We didn't really know what was going on.
I do know now, so I will spill the beans at some point.
But at the time when they're going through that, they were talking about.
I had an idea, but I got confirmation via TMZ a little bit later.
So that's, that's good at least.
But at the time, no, I had no clue.
And I wanted to make sure that I was all right
because I heard something,
wanted to make sure I heard it,
didn't really understand what was going on,
then went online and there were a lot more people confused about that scene.
So I felt better about myself,
not just like I was in some weird like flu medication induced,
whatever,
Hayes, if you want to call it that.
But it doesn't matter.
It really just doesn't matter.
We don't get anywhere.
There's no resolution.
There doesn't have to be a resolution.
It's really just who can come up with the best lines,
who's got the best quips.
And that is what this show has become.
And that's what we actually look to is when we get into those fights throughout the season,
Angela and Pinky brings out so many good one-liners.
What was the fight originally about?
Couldn't fucking tell you.
But it was iconic and it was a great time.
And that's what this reunion does.
It's just that on steroids.
Yeah.
And I think that a big credit is to this cast and the fact that you have a lot of established women,
confident women, successful women.
So we don't waste a whole lot of time on trying to like,
prove their pedigree.
You know, obviously we get things here and there where, you know, Pinky with her
business is going through bankruptcy.
So she's flexing a little bit more than she maybe normally would just to be like,
I do have things despite my bankruptcy.
So leave me alone.
But overall, it's an impressive cast of women.
So when you take away that need to like prove yourself that you need to prove your part of
this group or that you qualify to be a housewife, you just get to do the fun stuff.
We get to see them have fun feuds, you know, drop good one-liners.
And the big difference in like a show like this versus, you know, we're going to do it, OC or any California Housewife show, is because it's such a delightful cast, because I enjoy them so much, I want to know what they're up to.
I want to see the side scenes.
I want to hear about what's going on behind closed doors.
I want to get to know you more because I enjoy you on camera.
that's this entire cast even
Shimea like in this episode
I will actually just say like
she brings something to the show
right like I'm not I'm not saying that
like I still think that she could be gone next year
and this show looks a lot better stand by that
I stand firm in that
but there's plenty of shows that we could have
an outlier like Shemia
and it derails the entire thing
the whole show sucks for the one person
this show does not
it's funny too because you bring up Shemia
I had the thought while watching it.
Again, this is just me having a great time watching it and actually looking at everybody.
And we've talked about this whole concept before when the show is really good.
If somebody's kind of a dud, it's okay.
It's not the end of the world.
Like we look at it so differently because everybody else is doing so well.
It even got to that point where it was such a good reunion episode.
It was so much fun and entertaining.
Entertainment.
Entertainment.
Yeah, you guys know what I was trying to say.
Anyway, I even got to the point where I'm,
looking at Shemia like if she could just not turn herself into a victim she's got a good pedigree
to be on the show. I mean obviously she's rich as shit which is great and I love that Andy has that
one liner about not checking Housewives back accounts which maybe they should and he even says that
but Shemia has the money she has the connections and she does find herself in a lot of shit
it's just as soon as she's in that shit of her own making she then turns into the victim and
That's the problem.
And it's such a glaring issue, unfortunately, that it's just like, you got to get rid of her.
I mean, she takes away from the show when she does that.
But once I started thinking about it, I'm like, damn, if she could just drop that, she might
actually be a really good housewife, not just like a plausible housewife, not just somebody you
throw out there at a good show and you don't really notice that much.
She could actually be a really good housewife because she seems to always be involved, just like
Angela is always involved.
Angela has that it factor where she can turn it on.
She's always, you know, maybe not telling the truth, but she's always,
right about when we roll the tapes. I mean, we've rolled the tapes five times while Angela's talking.
She was right every single time, but she does a good thing. And it's just, I kind of leave a
couple of things out here and there. Or if I'm quote unquote lying, it's just what I heard and I'm
throwing it out there. So my source is actually me. She has a good way of protecting herself and she's
always involved in the ship, whether or not it's about her or not. It doesn't really matter.
But Shamiya is always there. And a lot of it's her own doing, but sometimes she's just there.
That's enough for me where I feel like if she would react differently, she could
be a good housewife. I think I'm just dumb with her. That's the problem. We've given her a lot of
chances. It's been two full seasons. It's been really tough at times with Shamea, and that's why I think
I'm ready to move on. A bit of a short leash, whatever, I don't care. It just sucks when you
see that and then you look at the other side and you're like, but you can't do it. Like,
I have no confidence that you can drop that victim factor. No, and that is what holds her back.
And it's funny because when I went on my Shemia rant, you made a face, but you understood what I was
sick, that's the same vibe that I got watching this.
Now, to Angela, I don't even know if you can call it lying.
She just repeats, even if she knows it to not be true, she repeats something she heard
from somebody else.
Is that lying or is that just repeating what's up?
She always has a callback.
The George thing is what I'm thinking of the most.
When we get into that, and obviously we already saw this during the season, but she takes
a comment slash joke from George, hears it.
thinks it's weird, and it does sound weird.
And then her source when she was over in Scotland saying,
did you fuck George?
It wasn't like I heard that you fuck George.
It was he made a weird comment.
I sat with it for a little while,
then made the determination that you may have fucked George.
So I'm asking you playing out.
That's all she's doing.
So it's a roundabout way to get there,
but it's fine because of the end of the day.
It's just a simple question.
All you have to do is answer.
Now when she gets into the Hawks players and the Falcons players,
that's the one where she loses me a little bit,
where I'm like, all right.
I don't know.
She did throw Dominique Wilkins out there, which fucking rocks.
Charles, if Charles and Dominique Wilkins are just hanging out talking about shit and he goes,
oh, Shemia, whoa, let me tell you about her.
And that's her source.
That is hilarious.
I don't care if it's true or not.
Also, she doesn't need the NBA job.
I don't think she works for the NBA.
She probably just, you know, I'm very confused as to what she does.
Yeah, not really sure.
It's a lot of non-profits, not-for-profits, nonprofits, and charities is probably what I would imagine.
Yeah, that sounds about right.
But the one thing that it starts off with is the K.
Michelle Shamiya thing and Shemma,
telling everyone not to be friends with Kay Michelle.
To your point, once again, this is where Shemia just falls apart because somehow
in this scenario, she's the victim.
It's like you're going around telling everybody that everybody's telling you to not be friends
with Kay Michelle.
Now, then you have to tell us the audience and the rest of the ladies on stage, I'm talking about other people in Atlanta, not the friend group.
We know, we never thought you were talking about the friend group.
And now you're acting as though people accusing you of saying this is somehow a dig at you.
It's like, wait, hold on.
You're the one that said this whole thing.
And as some of the ladies point out in the group, it's kind of manipulative.
It sounds a little bit manipulative.
It sounds like you're trying to isolate.
and this is causing people to feel more guarded around you.
And then she's like, oh, yeah, well, what about dinner the other night?
It's like, what the hell are we talking about?
She's like, Kelly was there.
I'm like, oh, yeah, because I'm going to trust what Kelly says on behalf of Shimea.
Like, give me a fucking break.
It was, it could have gotten so much worse, though.
As soon as she said Kelly was there, I'm like, I did the same thing you just did.
I'm like, all right.
And I wish that Andy would have said that too.
But she was literally and figuratively in the middle.
And I thought that Kelly did an okay job.
Now, by the end of this episode, I do think Kelly can be in the season.
I don't want her at reunions.
I just don't want her at reunions anymore.
She just derails things.
She tries to just be the loudest in the room and scream over people.
Nothing she says has any substance.
There's never anything that we can further.
It's not like she's adding anything to the conversation.
She's just not doing anything.
She's just insulting because she doesn't know what else to do.
That's the problem with Kelly.
So I kind of am done with her for reunions.
But I felt like at least in this moment, it could have gone so far the other way.
It's just lying on Kay Michelle's name.
Maybe she's a little afraid of Kay Michelle.
Kay Michelle really showed up.
This was something we talked about four or five weeks ago.
If she shows up in a big way at the reunion,
which she showed up towards the end of the season too.
She has really showed up at the reunion.
She's just kind of copped to every little shortcoming that we had all season,
talking about her confessionals, talking about Twitter,
all of the things that come along with it.
And even admitted, like, yeah, I was new to this.
I didn't know what to do.
I got nervous.
I got anxiety from the whole thing.
And I figured it out along the way.
and got into a better place.
Great.
That's exactly what I want to hear.
That's the self-awareness and self-development that I want to hear from a housewife,
especially in her first season.
Her sitting in the front chair, yeah, okay, maybe make your qualms about that.
But I thought she showed up.
I mean, she has done such a great job, and she held her own during all of this.
And Kelly didn't really help out Shamea.
She was just like, yeah, it got heated.
Both sides, I think, said things that they would like to take back.
I don't really want to be in the middle of this.
And then she just kind of excuses herself with the conversation.
Now, I'd rather that than obviously her just takes Shmi aside or start like maybe twisting words here and there.
Just, you know, excuse yourself and let these two go at it.
I agree.
And to your point as well, Kay Michelle taking ownership through everything.
I didn't need it, but it was a great cherry on top of the season because again, we saw her work out all of her shit during the season.
But to know that she has the self-awareness to acknowledge, like, yes, you guys were watching me figure it out.
I was figuring out in real time.
I'm in a good place now.
But back to the Shemia victim train,
it's just her biggest shortcoming.
It is what is going to keep her off of TV.
Because in this moment,
we're talking about, you know,
Kay brings up Shemia's mom in the club, right?
The point of her bringing this up is that it's weird
that your mom's out in the club late night
and like a white dress saying,
hallelujah, whatever.
And that's the problem.
That's the issue that Kay Michelle's pointing out.
Shemia, look at the video.
It says 1130.
Okay, cool.
Like that's not the point of what she's saying.
And I feel like we get derailed by semantics all the time when it comes to Shemia
because she just falls back on how can I be the victim?
How can I make this about me?
Okay.
She's lying about the timestamp of the video.
No one gives a shit.
Like the point that Kay is making is that you're,
mom was at the club. That's it.
Yeah. We don't care if it was 2.30, 11, 30, 12, 30. That's irrelevant.
But during that thing, mom facetimed your dad in the club and apparently said, and I might
have gotten this wrong, it's kind of confusing, but let me lay it out and then you can correct
me if I'm wrong. Shamea's mom says that Porsche's mom called Shemia's dad to fix a pipe.
Mm-hmm. Yes? That's exactly what it was. Yeah. Okay.
Okay, I wasn't sure whose mom because they both accused their moms of doing stuff.
It does get very confusing with these two, with their moms and who said what and who done it.
Because I think that a lot of us, like, I have yet to see someone who's really just honed in on exactly what their mom.
Because it's one of those situations where it's like, all right, this isn't the real housewives mom's era of Atlanta, whatever it might be.
Like, we don't care.
We're not seeing this play out.
I don't want to hear the hearsay.
I don't want to go back and forth.
But that's what I got from it.
I believe that is exactly what happens.
And somewhere along the way,
Portia gets called a Jezebel.
So I don't know what the fuck happened.
Shemia's mom called her a Jesnabelle.
Yeah.
Allegedly.
That's the thing.
And it is pertinent,
as annoying as it is to hear about their moms and Matt Spat and everything else
and the trickle-down effect to Portia.
It gets so convoluted and annoying.
But it is relevant to the season because the mom talk did happen in Scotland.
And then it happened thereafter.
So when Kay brings up the fact
that your mom is there at the club until 2 a.m.
It's almost like a character witness.
This does kind of turn into like a weird court case at some point.
So it is one of those situations where it's like, okay,
we did hear a lot about your mom.
We heard a lot about Porsche's mom.
You guys went back and forth.
Now Kay's bringing up the fact that you're at the club at 2 a.m.
or 1130, whatever it might be with your mom there.
And she's running around in a white dress,
doing all these weird things,
calling out to try to get a pipe fixed by Porsche's dad.
The whole thing was bizarre.
That's what Kay's trying to say.
And Shamea is like,
don't understand what this has to do with anything. Why are we bringing my mom into this? You
brought your mom into this the second that you brought Porsche's mom into this. That's where it
happened. And if you never did that, then yes, you would have a leg to stand on and be like, well,
what the fuck? Like, why are we talking about my mom? I went to the club with my mom. It was a fun time.
Why are we throwing her into this? You threw her into this already. So it's fair game.
Exactly. And as it deteriorates, you know, Kay points out, I had your back all season. And this is what
Shania does when she's back into a corner. She goes, I had your back all season.
season. She just starts repeating what people say to her.
Pretty much. And the big takeaway is that Camichelle no longer trusts Shemia.
She's willing to try to move forward, but the trust is broken. And this is where Kelly shows up,
where we don't need her. And she's like, don't let the noise from that other couch affect your
friendship with Shemia. It's like, don't do that because nobody in that couch was present for when
these two got into it the other night at your dinner apparently. So that's irrelevant to the,
for the whole thing.
And if you break down like over the season,
did we really see ladies in the group inserting themselves in between any of
Shamia's friendships?
They didn't get involved between Pinky and Shamia.
They didn't get involved in Kay Michelle and Shamia,
not Kelly Shamia.
That wasn't a thing.
Like they,
the other ladies on the couch kind of talked shit amongst themselves,
sure,
but they weren't going and trying to recruit people off of Shia me.
to me as team. So that didn't happen either. And like, that's when Kelly chimes in. I'm like,
no, we have enough to talk about without throwing that out there because that's not what's
happening. No, it's not. If they maybe tied it into Kay going to that group with Shemia and Kelly
after the whole Dallas debacle where she said that she was set up, maybe I could see a way that
you can kind of backdoor your way into that. But I agree with you. I mean, Pinky went over there.
Kay Michelle went over there. The rest of the group could have.
done it. I mean, we all did it at home. Like, oh, no, please, please, please do not go over there.
Don't go over there. Kelly, you're already there. You're already established as a Shemia friend.
Now, yes, you did a lot better at the second half of the season with not standing up for her, not
defending for her, not talking for her, but you're still an established Shemia. So we're not
talking about you right now. We're talking about everybody else. Specifically, we're talking about
Kay Michelle being friends in Shemia. No one said a word. No one had any questions. They only had
questions when Kay went out and started talking to that group saying, I feel, I feel.
like people in the other room set me up like if you want to talk about that fine go for it but it
seems like kay has kind of figured that whole thing out and she's done and she's moved on exactly exactly
and i think that's my favorite part of this is you're seeing a much more confident resolved k michel
that's my only takeaway she mea is still doing shamiya things kelly still doing kelly things
k michel episode one through six this would have sent her into an absolute spiral right now she's
sitting there going, okay, just kind of like brush it off the show, like, whatever, I don't have time.
Like, I don't trust you. Maybe we'll move forward. Don't care. Yeah. And I don't believe by the way that
K. Michelle got in Shamiya's face and started pounding her fist. Like that, no, no. No.
I believe she probably, yeah. Yes, exactly. That's what I, I'm sure she got animated. We've seen her
get animated. Yeah. I, I, I, she's just showing herself to be too street smart. I don't think she would
get in somebody's face like that because she know what.
implies. All right, we're going to throw it out. So yeah, I agree with you. But we got a quick
Cynthia Le Prince check in, which we always need. Love Lay Prince. Uh, get to hear her song. It's so
funny. When we hear the song, I was like, okay, because I heard that in the club. And I was like,
this is somebody on this show. I did not know it was Cynthia. And upon learning that,
climbed up my charts so much faster. I was like, oh, no, it's, this, this song rocks.
I love late Prince helped even better. This is the number one.
song on Bravo. Yeah, I wish I
remembered it from the midseason trailer, but I do
not. And the midseason trailer, I remember
being very good, and maybe it's because of that song.
It was because of that song. Yeah.
Yep, that's exactly why. It's the new good
is gold. Actually, it's disrespectful to Cynthia.
I'm going to compare her. That is very disrespectful.
I'm sorry, Cynthia. I did not mean that.
Yeah, take that back immediately. I take it back.
Take it back, take it back. But let's
get to
Pinky. And
interesting package.
She's great. Still love
Pinky, she got snagged a little bit throughout this one.
I don't think she, I'm trying to figure out what it was.
I think it was being overly defensive with everything in trying to like regulate
everything that people were saying, you know, the bankruptcy, for example, it starts out
with a weird taste in everyone's mouth because she's saying, it's a great tool.
It's a great tool to use just declare chapter 11.
Okay, I'll bite.
But at the same time, everybody else there clarifying, like, you know, it's not harmless.
People invested money in you.
They invested money in your company.
And that money is just poof, gone.
Her defense of that is you have no idea the shit I'm eating on behalf of other people.
So it's all good.
Yeah.
It's not the best look.
It's just not a great look to be, like, excited about bankruptcy and disregard all of your investors.
It's one thing to say a lot of people do it and it happens.
And another thing entirely to raise that bar and say it's a great tool.
It's not a great tool.
Like, yes, there is coming back from it.
Yes, you are correct in the sense that a lot of well-off people will just claim bankruptcy for their company and start a new company right away.
That's exactly what happens.
And that's just the nature of the world that we live it.
That's what's been happening for the last like 25.
Honestly, that's what's been happening since 2008.
there's a lot of bailouts being handed out left and right.
What are you supposed to do about that?
You're supposed to act like it was a tough learning lesson.
Go back to Angela.
Like I know Angela gets dragged into this for whatever reason.
She had homes that were foreclosed on.
Foreclosures are bankruptcy adjacent,
but it's more asset driven than the actual thing itself.
And also she put her own money into that and Charles's money,
but they put their own money into those houses and learned a lesson.
And she talked about that lesson in the beginning of that season.
Like that's the one thing.
And during the entire process.
Yeah.
And I know Angela did a really good job at doing that, walking us through all of that.
And then she does it very good, a very good job here at the reunion talking about how it was a learning lesson.
But she also dumped it out on the table so that you can't use it against her.
So you can't use it against her right now.
This has nothing to do with Angela.
We're talking about you and your company and the fact that there were other investors in there.
And when we're talking more about Derek offering you,
I'm not going to call it a handout because you guys are married, but he's offering you $5 million
not to get yourself back up. It's to pay off the people that are on your back. And when she says,
well, once the company claimed bankruptcy, the company was gone. It got dissolved. So they were
coming after me personally. Okay, that's your husband. You're still going to have to pay them.
You don't just get to ignore. And that's what we were hearing all season when we're talking about like
all of the, you know, the investors and employees and employees and.
things that were going on in the company that they weren't getting paid and now they were
filing grievances and filing lawsuits against you. We have to pay them off or make some sort
of settlement. And that $5 million from Derek would have made it all go away. And yes, you guys are
married and you would have figured it out. And yes, maybe that would have taken a hit to your ego.
But I think that there's so many different things she could have done. And I feel like the rest of
the group here was just trying to pull her to that. Like, hey, all you have to say here is instead
of bankruptcy is a great tool. You should say, I feel really bad. I have people that invested in me,
invested money in me, and it makes me fucking sad. And I cried at night. I don't want to hear it
from Kelly or from K Michelle that they were talking to you and you were screaming all night.
You should be saying that. And I think it would go a long way. Look, we didn't invest in your company.
We don't give a shit. They care, but they're going to keep coming after you until they get some
sort of money or some sort of settlement. That's all you have to really do. But I think she just has
that weird balance of I am just standing up for what I believe in and Pinky is an image and it's
something that will not be stricken down by bankruptcy. It's like, no, it's okay. You're allowed to show
the struggle. It's actually cool. You're probably going to show the struggle in Edgewood whenever that comes
out, which I think I didn't look it up earlier, but there was a Tooby comment a little bit later
about Drew and I wonder if Edgewood's going to Tooby because Pinky laughed at that and then kind of
made a weird face. That would be really funny. I think that by a major network. That's all
I know. Could be anything.
Tube was my first thought because that's just, you know, I don't, whatever.
But that being said, that's all you have to do.
You could have gotten out of this whole thing, but you have that like stern feeling about all
of this.
You don't have to be super strong right now.
You can just admit mistakes were made.
People are mad at you.
It's okay.
It's eating away at you and you'll get through it.
That's all you have to do.
It was the easiest thing in the world, but I feel like she made it so hard.
That's what everybody wants her to do.
Just acknowledge that there's a part of this that's a bummer because you lost people's
money and acknowledge that you're sad about it.
Don't go red lobster and bedbath and beyond declared bankruptcy.
Sure.
Yeah.
Sure.
It did.
But that's not the point of what we're saying.
It's also a completely different level.
I mean, those are massive, massive restaurant companies.
They're part of restaurant groups and hospitality groups.
Yours is just, it's slutty vegan and various slutty vegan stores.
That's all it is.
Correct, but I did love the Cynthia questioning what's going on because Angela points out,
okay, well, if your husband has money, then why is your dentist on the bankruptcy or something like that?
And Cynthia just kind of settles it down.
I was like, look, where it got confusing is what is it?
Are you good or are you not because you've been very braggadocious about your standing?
And at the same time you're declaring chapter 11, that doesn't make.
a lot of sense. I love Pinky going, I wouldn't have been cast on this show. And I love Andy going,
we don't check bank accounts, but maybe we should. Maybe we should. Not on this show. Keep this
all cast. Now it would be really funny to check bank accounts across shows. That would cause so much
shit and so many excuses and so many like, well, my assets aren't liquid right now. They're actually
in a portfolio, which is tied to an LLC that I can't access, but I have money.
Okay, I have money.
Leave me a lot.
We've got $100,000 invested in our son's clothing company,
but we'll take his merchandise back.
We'll take it back right away.
We'll get right back to the rest of our Atlanta reunion coverage.
But first, we'll just take a quick little ad break right now.
Get back to the action.

Reality TV is messy.
Pop culture is louder than ever.
And the internet.
Completely unhinged.
Welcome to Roxanne.
and Chantel, the podcast where Cousins, Roxanne and Chantel break down reality TV, celebrity drama, and the stories everyone's texting about.
We recap the shows, spill the headlines, and sit down with the stars themselves.
No filter, no boring takes, just the tea.
New episodes every week.
If it's trending, we're talking about it.
This is Roxanne and Chantel.
Let's get into it.
Oh, boy.
Well, we're getting to meet gate a little bit.
Again, like this is funny to me because it's such an absurd thing to like get into not be like I understand Pinky because it's her brand.
And obviously it's tough for the brand if slutty vegan is eating meat.
But the breakdown of everything was hilarious because Shamiya's like, oh, I heard wrong.
I thought that you said that she ate meat at her Jamaican restaurant, not served meat at her Jamaican restaurant.
What?
that she ate meat at her Jamaican restaurant,
you know that she said serve and you know you said,
whoa,
like that doesn't make any fucking sense to me.
But the funniest part,
Fadre wants a genuine apology for her saying that she eats cadavers.
The back and forth here is a riot.
Like we're talking about Shamiya mishearing,
allegedly,
and Fadra eating people.
And we are holding people to the fire.
over this. We are going to, people are going to be held accountable because this is some bullshit.
That's like the best part too, because it does make total sense. And obviously, of all the places
for Pinky to go eat some meat, probably not in her own restaurant where people know her and see her.
She would go do it secretly at a different place in a back alley somewhere. Like if she really wanted
or the privacy of her own home. I don't know. That's just off the top of my head. So that's very
funny. And that makes sense. If you see her eating meat.
It diminishes her whole brand.
Fager, I love you.
But you potentially eating cadavers and then saying that it's the same thing and it's going to feed into your funeral business, that doesn't make any sense.
No one believes that.
No one's ever going to believe that.
It's okay.
And I hope that she's like kind of saying this tongue in cheek.
Like, oh, yeah, I want an apology too.
I'll eat cadavers.
Tell me that I don't eat cadavers.
Say you're sorry for saying that.
Say you're sorry.
Look at me and say, apologize.
Look at me and tell me you know I don't eat people.
All right, guys.
I need you all to say, all right, all right.
Now we're good and we can move on.
That's okay by me.
Like that's just a very funny back and forth with all of the superficial shit going on.
Yeah, 100%.
And I think the best part between these two, because we get into banana,
we get into the higher ups being called on piggy.
Now, what I gathered from this and sounds like you can confirm because you did some digging,
what I got from it is a gun was referenced at some point.
And Fager called attention to Pinky talking about a gun in some regard.
She didn't go and report her to the level of what happened last season, I think, with
what's her nuts, the Kenya thing at the club where she said some,
Kenya didn't say it.
What was her name?
I was just thinking about that.
I wanted to say Jackie at first, but that doesn't make.
make any sense.
What's her name?
Britt Eady.
Britt Eadie.
Yes, exactly.
So the big thing was,
Fader's like, look, I didn't go to the higher ups.
Andy can tell you to go to the higher ups.
And Andy's like, yeah, she would have texted me or called me to figure this out.
So she made reference to it.
She mentioned it.
I'm glad it didn't turn into something nuts,
especially if it wasn't a dangerous comment in any way, shape, or form.
Her just referencing a gun, I don't think is grounds for removal from the show or panic.
So I'm glad that it was handled accordingly.
It was interesting, though, that Pinky brought it up.
She's like, well, she called the higher up saw me.
And I just like, yeah, tell them why.
And then we get the rest of the story.
It's just like, oh, okay.
So it wasn't a big.
And it doesn't, I don't think it was a big deal.
I think it was just an offhanded comment, but I don't think it was obviously threatening.
It wasn't towards anybody in the cast.
It was simply from what I understand.
and I read something from TMZ stating that she referenced having a device just in case for
her own safety.
And that's really all it was.
It wasn't any deeper than that.
And it wasn't used in any other way or shown in any other way.
So that was pretty much it.
And again, it does go to show you like if it was something more, Fager would have gone to
the higher ups like Andy said.
She would have done it immediately.
She would have gone after it.
I think he's new.
They don't really know each other.
That makes total sense to me.
But it seems like it just kind of like sat there.
but I guess for whatever reason,
this is kind of funny
because it's a different version
of what we just went through.
Pinky now wants her apology.
Like, hey, you went to the higher ups.
Yeah, exactly.
We got to talk about that.
You got to apologize to me.
We're having an apology off right now.
Like, who was worse in this situation?
I think it's just best,
and I think everybody at the couches agrees,
just we'll move on.
Just leave it where it is.
It seems like you guys are good.
And we even say as much,
you guys are everybody's good here.
Everybody's fine.
Oh, yeah, I love her.
She's totally fine.
Like, she won me over throughout the season.
We're good.
we can move forward.
We don't have to talk about it anymore.
Good.
That's what I want for these things.
These things are totally fine.
There's obviously some irreparable friendships in this group at this point, but this is not
one of them.
We can move forward.
And that's the one thing that I also like hearing too.
And even Angela said that.
Pinky says, look, I don't hold grudges.
I'm mature.
I can move forward.
We have conversations about things.
And I move forward the next day.
That's what we saw.
That's what made Pinky great in the last like 67% of the season after she figured it out,
much like Kay Michelle, she was able to move forward.
with everybody that she had a quote unquote beef with.
Exactly.
And Angela speaking up in that moment to say, that's why I like her.
That's why we're cool.
And we need desperately on this show, not that it's lacking, it just provides such a better
product.
When you have the heavy hitters able to do this, able to go back and forth and not turn
it into a season long beef, where it's like a one and done, like, yeah, we're going to
go tit for tat, then we're going to high five at the end of it.
and we're going to keep moving forward.
That's part of what makes this show so good,
especially with Pinky stepping into that role.
And Angela, the funniest part to me is Shemia,
you're getting a blueprint on how to handle Angela.
Like if you actually want to have a relationship
or have her respect to you in any way, shape, or form,
Pinky has shown throughout the season that you can go back and forth with her,
but if you're real and authentic and a legit person,
she'll move forward.
You just have to acknowledge your side of shit,
which Shemia is completely incapable of doing.
But when you watch scenes like this,
I'm like,
are Kellyan should be like not taking notes?
You should be taking notes
on how other people are handling themselves.
Kelly almost got there.
That's probably the most frustrating thing.
And that's again why I'm saying,
like at the end of this episode,
Kelly's completely lost me.
And I still am separating.
We always do this.
We separate the reunion from the season.
We don't want things to leak into each other.
but Kelly was close to it, especially with Angela.
And we talk about that with Angela all the time.
If you're just genuine and you apologize and move forward,
she'll move forward with you.
I mean, we talk about it with Portia and their comment about Charles at length.
And we have exactly right there that example of,
I said what I said.
It was egregious.
We moved forward.
We had a conversation about it.
I've never done it again.
Angela and me are cool.
Awesome.
That was Shimea's moment to also do it.
She could have done it last season.
Angela's given her ample opportunity.
She me is just incapable of doing it.
And I think at this point, the ship has sailed.
Like, I do think that door is completely shut forever.
I don't think or see Angela ever really giving Shemia that chance again to sit down and have a good hash out and then actually move forward because she just doesn't trust her.
She may always brings up things for the past.
She's incapable of just letting things lie.
No, that's a really good point.
And I think that's where you see her out on an island on this show in general.
She doesn't fit because of that.
Yeah.
And that's it just sticks out.
like a sore thumb, especially in moments like this, because you're like, well, clearly there's a
common denominator here, why certain things on this show fall apart. And it rhymes with Badea.
Yeah.
Shout up Badea.
Yeah.
Pizzeria Bidia.
If you haven't had it, do yourself a favor.
It is still probably, isn't my favorite pizza place in Philly?
It's top two or three.
It's so consistent.
Yeah.
Yeah.
So consistent.
And their other food is good, too.
They have this chickery Caesar.
Oh, you're hungry, aren't you?
It's a fucking delightful.
Yeah, I'm getting there.
Getting hungry.
Edgewood picked up by a major network.
Drew and the casting call thing.
You know, you belittled my casting call.
You did.
Drew's never going to cop to that.
She's got to play the, especially reunion, Drew.
She's going to be very buttoned out.
Oh, I would never.
And it's a cattle.
This was the call in the industry.
And this is reunion, Drew.
This is the frustrating reunion, Drew.
and again we talked about this last week
she came in expecting to
just be on defense have all of these
things ready to go this was not
a contentious conversation this was a
very easily dismissed
I understand what you meant it was
kind of thrown together I threw it out there
Drew is trying to make her point that
her showing up for support
was being a good friend
but that's not what we're doing here
and that's not what the intent was for the rest of the group
or from Pinky
but Drew's still going to battle for that for some
reason. Like it was a very clear miscommunication. Pinky's ready to move on. We're ready to go to
the next subject and Drew still has notes. And I'm like, all right, just like, I know what's your
time to shine quote unquote. You're looking at yourself in the mirror like this is going to be my
moment to talk about things. We don't care. It was such a non-issue. It was a funny moment in the
season. You should laugh about it now. That's the thing where you get to the reunion, Drew. If she was
like herself during the season, you might actually have a laughing moment. Like, ah, yeah,
that was actually kind of funny. And then going in and talking to Shamia while Shami is actually
taking it seriously and me saying,
I'm not auditioning. I'm just here
for support. Funny. Oh, well,
not a big deal, we're moving forward. That's all
she has to do, but she's just incapable of
doing that. Yeah, instead, she's like, I've done
plenty of indie projects. I love indie projects.
Let me show you my rest of me of indie projects. I've
done so many indie projects. I've done
stage plays and
yeah,
yeah. And other indie projects as well.
That's all she said.
I know. It's very funny.
but she's funny we got a quick break in the action and it just kind of lays out this last
segment you know you've got Porsche talking about a lie detector test that she took to prove
that she can verify i forget what they're even verifying at this point what was she doing
verifying the Kelly had sex with a married man on the plane and she yeah okay and that's the
guy so we get that whole day we get the setup for that we get
Shimea still upset about the claim that she's fucking the Hawks and Falcons players and Greenbeard George and Angela's George's neighbor and blah, blah, blah.
Here's what it shakes out to.
And this is what was going on during the season as well.
And we talked about it already a little bit.
Angela heard that Shemia and George were close, period.
And Angela took it upon herself, given their interactions and information that she had heard to claim that Shemia might have poignant, George.
She has no evidence other than a feeling, which she admits.
Now, the Falcons or Hawks players or both, it wasn't really clarified.
It did seem at the end that it was pretty much sequestered to the Hawks.
Now she hears from somebody in good standing.
So she's not ready to let go of that one entirely.
She's willing to apologize to Shemia for almost costing you your job, allegedly,
which I don't think that's true at all.
But if Shemia wants to die on that hill, that's fine.
But Angela will apologize for putting Shemia in a weird spot,
but stands firm on, no, I trust this person about the Hawks player that you allegedly point.
Yeah, that's pretty much all we got from all of that.
I mean, I just,
Angela does this all the time.
And then she gets called out for it.
And then her answer is usually the same.
And look,
some things that she's thinking,
some gut feelings that she has might be true,
but it's unsubstantiated.
And it's easily dismissed if you want to look at it that way.
It would just be so easy,
I think, for Shemia to say,
no, I didn't fuck George.
Like, why would you think that?
Okay.
Well, that's kind of nuts that you got there.
But that's,
that's all you have to do.
Shimea always has to take it to some other level where now you're threatening my businesses,
you're threatening my job, you're threatening my family.
It's like, no, no, no, no, no.
Angela is trying to intentionally be messy.
She's got gut feeling.
She throws it out there.
You throw it back to her and she says, oh, I don't know.
It was just a feeling I had.
And if it pans out at some point and somebody actually has evidence, then yeah, it's already there.
The groundwork is laid.
That's all Angela does.
And she's done it countless times in her two seasons, in three seasons, whatever she's
been on. Why are we not looking at that? Like, she has a track record for doing this.
And it's always the same recipe. It's just different information. And it's so easily dismissed.
Just say that and move forward. But instead, Shemia spends so much time on it and trying to
throw it back at Angela. And then Angela has to break out the fact that you're going after Charles
and saying that he's outside. Chimeas is over like, I don't do that. I didn't say. Yeah. That's the
worst part. It's like, stand in it. If you're going to say it throughout the season, and this was the moment
where we pretty much just had that whole roll the tape segment
where every single time that we say something,
Shemia disputes it, says I never said it,
Angela says that's exactly what you said,
roll the tape, we roll the tape,
it's exactly what she said.
And it's right every single time.
So that's the thing.
That's who you're up against is Angela who remembers these things,
who watches the season and probably takes more notes than Steele does.
That's what we're looking at here.
So she knows what she's talking about.
If you step in it during the season,
just at least say like, oh, yeah, that's probably something.
something that I said, but you're also making shit up on your end.
So who cares? And then it's just tip for tat and we can move forward.
But Shamii always makes it this like whole grand explanation and throwing so many different
things into it.
It gets so messed up and comboaded and like it's just, it's insanity.
And then we just have to move forward.
Like when you get to the point where you pan back over and Portia and Angela are like,
okay, she's doing it again.
She's just lying.
She's acting like she didn't do something.
We have footage of her doing that.
And it's so easily to do.
And that's the funniest thing I think is Shemiyah, who very clearly tries to produce things for the show.
When we say things, and we're talking about the shit that you've done throughout the season, do you not think they're just going to show it?
Like, that's exactly what they're going to do.
So stop lying about it.
And it's such a, it's just such an unimportant lie.
You're not lying your way out of something.
You're just lying about something you said that was on camera that again, you could have just been like, yeah, I said it, but who the fuck cares?
If only.
You know, Shemia would be in much different standing.
if that were the case.
As far as Porsche and Kelly go,
I'm sure we'll get more into it in the third episode.
Apparently,
that lie detector man said that Porsche is telling the truth
in regards to she saw the man on the plane,
he was married,
and saw the text message of said man
confirming that said man, boy, Kelly.
Don't really care.
No.
Kind of funny, I guess,
but it's just like, well, yeah, okay.
this is probably going to go nowhere.
There's no one else.
I mean, Shemija was there.
That's the only little, like, stray that we do going back and forth.
And this is, again, I know, this one doesn't count.
And we have to remember who it's coming from.
Yes, we like Portia a lot more than we like Shemia.
But Porsche are just throwing it out there like, hey, you shut up or I'm going to talk about
who you had sex with that night.
It's like, you don't have any, go back to your lie detector guy and see what else he got.
That's not going to work this time either.
So I don't know where that one.
going to go. I also don't really
care. I mean, we just saw Jarvis
whatever.
It's not, unless
Jarvis is the married pastor
and that's where we're going to go with it. I'm not
really that interested in it.
No, not at all. Even if he is the married
pastor, I don't really care
because they're together or no. So
then it's just like, what a dumbass for
going on TV as a married man
cheating on his wife.
Exactly.
That's be my only takeaway.
But let's get to some other questions.
and Beasy asks or says statement let's discuss Pinky's ability to move forward.
We did already, but I'm glad that you're calling it out too because it is,
we need more of that in the Housewives realm.
Yeah, yeah, absolutely.
From Hotcakes, 1987, thoughts on Shamiya serving Angela with the Seasons Assist seems like a problem going forward.
She did it specific.
I'm happy we at least talked about the specifics of the Seasons Assist.
it's only pertaining to the Hawks and Falcons players.
That's pretty much it.
So I don't know.
And I guess she had grounds because she was able to say that it's threatening her potential work opportunity or something with the teams.
So I do think it's not,
I don't think it's going to be something that we have to deal with moving forward.
Jameses, Jennifer M2M,
what was the specific threat between Fager and Pinky?
There was not one.
That's why it wasn't like a big deal.
I just think that I think a gun was referenced and I think that Fager's ears perked up ever so slightly.
It does not sound like it's anything worth noting.
There's no like big scandal of Pinky and a gun and I don't want that spreading.
Yeah.
Yeah.
And Kay Looker Woods even said, does Fager have a double standard with the device issue with Pinky and Britt?
No, because if you remember, Brit said it in the heat of the moment while battling it out with another housewife and with other things going on.
then she kind of used it in a threatening way.
That's a completely different situation
than what we've surmised happens
between her and Pinky and what we've seen,
you know, based on reports.
From saver.
Dot this.
Will we talk about the moms of the next episode?
Actually, you said mums.
So I hope you're from England.
Hello, Governor.
Will we talk about the mums of the next episode
or is Bravo avoiding that storyline?
I hope Bravo's avoiding that storyline.
They're not on TV.
They're not on the show.
I know we make reference to them a lot.
lot, but it doesn't seem like something we really want to get into.
So I'm hoping they avoid.
No, referencing moms here and there, having them bop in for a family scene, whatever,
is very different than when we have mom-centric drama.
Mom-centric drama never hits, ever.
It's always too drawn out.
We don't care.
It gets kind of wacky.
And it's just a big done.
So yeah, no, no, no mom drama.
No mama drama.
I'm with you.
I'm with you.
From It's Sin, who is the better song, Lisa Barlow versus Cynthia Bailey.
Cynthia Bailey.
It's better.
I, you know, unironically, Cynthia's is better.
But Baby Gorgeous is a funny song.
It's a funny song, but it's a funny song.
Yeah, Cynthia's isn't actually like pretty good song.
Let's see a couple more.
I'll end on that one.
Let's go with Van Ness, Atlanta's top tier, Sweet Life, The Peach Life.
Yep.
Very true.
Big back.
Very true.
Me again, 40.
Does Andy, or, yeah, does Andy like any of the other franchises as much as Atlanta?
He has so much fun at the Atlanta franchise.
He does have a lot of fun.
He does have a lot of unions.
And he always talks about Atlanta before it comes out on Watch Rapids Live about how good it is.
I think it's his number one.
I do, too, actually.
I would love this from Shoshi Davis.
You guys definitely helped me get back into this show.
Big thanks and go birds.
Hell yeah.
That's what we love to hear.
We don't give bad wrecks.
That is we are tried and true.
If we recommend a show it's good.
Certified.
And in that.
Robbred is fresh.
Stamp it.
Stamp it up.
That was going to be my last one.
So.
Oh, perfect.
Well, we will be back next week with the final episode of the reunion.
it just needs to be more of what we've seen.
They don't have to get into a bunch of shit.
Just like, do this.
Do this.
And it'll be a great reunion.
And that's why Atlanta reigns supreme,
especially in this Housewives realm,
because Miami's gone, just fucking travesty.
So you got Atlanta right there at the top,
which well deserved.
But that's all I got.
You got anything else?
Nope.
That's our show.
Rob Brose are out of here.
You've watched them from the outside.
your whole life, on TV, on stage, on the cover. The success that always looks like it happened to
someone on a different planet. But what if it didn't? I'm Evelyn and I've spent over 25 years in
entertainment, producing for some of the biggest names in Hollywood. And here's what I learned.
The distance between you and them, it's a lot shorter than anyone's letting on. On my podcast,
Rappen, I sit down with the people you've been watching and I ask them who they actually are,
Not the brand, the person.
Where they started.
What it costs them.
What almost broke them.
Their grit, their courage, their resilience.
And the lessons they've learned, it's all yours for the taking.
Repin, wherever you listen.
Hi, I'm Whitney.
And I'm Katie.
And we're the hosts of True Crime Campfire.
We set out to make a true crime podcast we'd want to listen to.
We get right to the story.
We don't do a lot of extra talk in.
And when we do, it's usually.
to roast the short hairs off of some loser murderer or scammer. You'll laugh, but only at the people who deserve it.
Like, which serial killer would you most like to shove into a locker? B.T.K. in his awful poetry.
Dude got caught because he didn't understand what a floppy disk was.
We look for the stranger than fiction stories, like the case of Patty James, a killer catfish before the internet was even a thing.
Or Howard Walmsley, a sentient wad of damp laundry who convinced his town he'd won the lottery,
fleeced local businesses out of thousands and then became a romance scammer.
We've covered tons of cases you've never heard of, cults, scammers, killers.
So come find your next great binge.
Listen to True Crime Campfire on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, or wherever you get your podcasts.
