As per usual, with Bravo, had no idea that Potomac was coming back this past Sunday.
But boy, oh, boy, what a surprise.
What a pleasant surprise.
And what an opener.
Great premiere.
Well done, Potomac.
Yeah, I wasn't caught off guard.
I think that speaks volumes to Potomac in general because I knew it was coming.
I still had the wrong date.
I thought it was next Sunday.
But I knew that it was within this like two-week window, which is better than ever.
because usually a show will launch.
I'll be on Twitter or threads or whatever,
and I'll see people talking about it,
and then I'll realize, holy shit, this dropped.
Why did we not know this was coming?
I knew this one was coming because I'm keyed in on Potomac.
It's just good stuff.
As there's a drive in a deep left field by Castellanos.
Oh, man, it's 8 o'clock.
And so that'll make it a...
I don't need the spotlight.
I shine just fine.
Hi, I'm karma.
And yes, I'm...
I am a bitch.
Brov Bros.
Good evening, everybody, and welcome back to another episode of Brov Bros.
Your favorite podcast from the Bros.
For everybody, for whoever wants to listen, I am your co-host, Steele Russell, joined as always by the What-Italamic Magoutes?
What's up, dude?
That's a deep cut.
Mid-Atlantic Goots, huh?
Actually, Chesapeake Goots, Mid-Atlantic Goots.
There's a lot to play with here.
I was going to say
that I was not confident
because I forget
cherry blossom
is that what those trees are?
I was going to say cherry blossom magutes
but then I was like oh fuck I can't remember that that's exactly
what it is
because we always have that where it's like yeah
that cherry blossoms are their thing but then it's like oh wait
but what are they holding again and champagne flutes
champagne flutes yeah but we do this every year
we always get that wrong no we won't do it this year
we got it right this year and we stick with it
everybody we got it out of the way and it wasn't
in confusion. It was, we know what it is, but it was more about my nickname than anything
else. And I'll take that. You watched this before I did. How did the fuck did you not text
me and say deer sighting? First thing we see is a goddamn deer and Karen Dier. I know. I'm sorry.
They're doing it. They are doing it on purpose. And you cannot convince me otherwise. I know that
Karen probably has like a cool estate and it's probably like back there and there's just a lot of
deer. And it's very easy for the camera crew to just kind of pan around and find a deer. They're doing it
on purpose. We know they're doing it on purpose.
And I hope everybody watching knows they're doing it on purpose.
That deer is coming to check in. That is not the deer.
That is a family member of the deer.
And that deer is coming in just to see, make sure Karen's not fucking driving.
That's pretty much what we're doing.
The deer is to make sure that she is not on the road.
He is the scout for the rest of the deer family to be like all clear or no, no,
Karen's back behind the wheel.
Yeah.
But I will, we need to start discussing whether or not we're paying this deer.
This deer has had more appearances.
than some friend else.
And I think that it's not fair to the deer
if we're not compensating it in some way, shape, or form.
So apples?
Sure.
Yeah.
Yeah, you can feed them apples.
But I think we need to compensate the deer for his time.
It's been a comedic punchline for two years about a very not funny issue.
That's the funny part.
Because last year, or was that two years ago, I guess,
when Karen got in the wreck.
It seems just like yesterday.
It's two years ago now, yeah.
That's how the season started.
We got the most bizarre to this day cutscene in Bravo history.
They did a reenactment of a DUI slash crashing into a tree in which the deer was featured.
Then last year, we saw the deer again, even though Karen wasn't on screen.
And this year, lo and behold, season starts off.
There he is again.
So, yeah, if they play the deer bit every year to the point that we're 10 years down the road
and people don't know what the dear bit is,
I would be so very appreciative.
That's my kind of view.
Look, I still appreciate what they did for that weird reenactment of the DUI
because it softens the blow.
Like, we have talked about so many drinking problems,
so many other issues.
The fact that they did it that way has somehow spun it into a situation
where I'm convinced we're never going to have to have a real conversation.
Like, we could actually just laugh and scoff.
fit different things that Karen does.
But I'm still excited for what Karen's going to bring to this show.
Like she's already within the first three minutes of this episode in such a weird state of mind
that I'm so excited to see what's going to happen.
Like all of the things that she's going to say, it's going to be so outlandish.
It's going to be so crazy.
So just unbelievable.
And I'm not going to care.
I'm not going to ever want to have a deep discussion about what Karen's doing.
Is she still drinking?
Is she still popping pills?
I don't care.
I just simply don't care.
The rest of the cast can do that.
I won't do it.
And I think it all stems from the weird reenactment of the DUI.
And I'm very thankful for that.
It did set the tone.
And here's the thing about the Grand Dame.
She's good.
God damn it, she's good.
She was back for one episode.
Vicki, this is how you don't get involved.
Masterclass.
Like literally as Robin.
Robin was good this episode too, by the way.
but she's like, Karen's over here, sundowning.
Karen was like sleeping, but, but here's the difference.
When it was time to jump in, she's in.
It doesn't even matter if she knows what's going on.
She checks in, clocks in, and boom, she's Karen Hugar again.
Throughout the whole episode, her first moments on screen, yeah, we get the weird,
oh God, she's in like a spiritual religious place.
This should be interesting.
But the second she's sitting with the lady, she's with Ashley and Giselle,
it's like she hasn't missed a beat.
for her to say my marriage motherfucker,
I was like, God damn it, yes, she's so back.
I'm so okay with it.
I'm actually glad to Karen Eugger.
She served her time, right?
We are big proponents of that here.
If you get incarcerated, you go serve your time.
When you come out, we are willing to give you another chance
because you served your time.
She served her time.
It's like she didn't miss a day on this show.
And I'm glad she's back.
I'm glad she's back too.
And I mean, we'll probably be having a lot of discussions about her and Ray's marriage.
sure I love the delusion I came out a new woman I'm a new wife and Ray doesn't like it
it's just simply not about like he might we like we're going to have a little bit of fun
with it the real answer is he's probably pissed off that you had a fourth DUI went to jail
came out and you're just acting like and all the ladies are going to call you out for it
like that yeah drinking wasn't my problem it was the pills I'm going to stay away from
the pills as long as I'm not which is so funny funny
long as I'm not in an environment where people are doing pills, I'll be okay.
I'm all right when I'm around other people who are drinking.
That is unreal.
That is unbelievable.
Like, yeah, I can't even say in my age.
In our 20s, yeah, you might go out and see people doing pills or doing drugs.
Maybe like water to people.
Like, you don't have pill parties.
Everyone's like, hey, let me see what you got.
Hell yeah.
Remember they, there's a thing going around.
It's when like mainstream media doesn't know what the fuck is actually going on.
So they hear a rumor and they're like,
these kids are having these parties where they put a bunch of random pills in a bowl
and everyone takes a pill and they don't know what that wasn't happening.
I'm sorry.
No.
It wasn't happening.
It might.
Has that what Karen's talking about?
I took it differently.
I thought it was like, you know, as long as I'm not going to a fun, like I know those
fundraisers.
I'm aware of what those people do.
Oh, are those fundraisers?
They're doing pill.
I don't fucking know.
the hell do I know.
She doesn't even know what she's talking about.
She just thinks it sounds good.
But that is very funny.
And my personal takeaway is that Ray is pissed off that he's now back in Potomac.
He wanted to be in Florida golfing.
He wanted to just sunset his life.
He's done with his career.
He's done with everything else.
He wants to be down in Florida golfing.
And instead you dragged him back up to the Potomac.
And he's not able to golf year rounds.
And he has to deal with cheating, quote unquote, rumors, if you will.
And he has to deal with filming.
And he has to deal with all the other.
shit and he's probably paying legal fees still for all the things that you've done.
He doesn't want to do any of that.
Like that's what's going on with Ray.
That's why he's mad at you.
Not because you came out.
A new woman.
I almost wish that she came out and she's like, you know, I found Allah and I've been
reading a lot of a lot of things and I've completely changed my religions.
Like, you know, I don't understand.
I'd be down for that.
Christianity.
Like that would be a fun little spin too.
But God, it's just the way she does things is so hilarious.
to me. And I love what she's already bringing to the table. And I love what she's going to bring to
the table. It's not even a projection. It's a downright fact. Yeah. And look, you could read further into it
if you want to and say, okay, if I had to guess her and may are probably done already. Yeah,
we're going to see this as a storyline. She's like, Ray, you got to be here at the beginning of the season
so we can get through this. I can do it on screen. I don't care. I don't care if that's what's going on
because she's back. The show's back. And this was a great premiere. We're already into the episode a little
bit. And, you know, we get that quick scene of like one month later and it's all the shit
popping off. But that takes us to lunch with Ashley Karen and Giselle. And, you know, this is
the question that we all ask. What does life look like for Karen? Now, I'm not confident when the first
thing that they say is like, she's doing AA, right? She doesn't call it AA. I'm like, oh, good, good.
We're still sidestepping what's actually going on. That took no time at all. And Karen,
And Garrett gets there.
She's hugging everybody and she's, you know,
talk about what a great friend Giselle is.
And we'd heard that Giselle was showing up for.
And she's talked about this before.
But I have already made the conscious decision to not get irritated by this.
I'm sure at some point I'm going to have to address it in some capacity.
But for now, like, I don't want to get all riled up because it is what it is.
It's her life.
I'm not going to sit here.
Is she doing it the right way?
No.
Am I going to sit here and commentate?
on it. Not unless I have to. Because they're like, you're not, you're not drinking, right?
Care. You're not drinking this sludge. I'm not a big drinker. Stop it. You stop it right now.
Damn it. It's your first line with the ladies. And you're already saying, no, it's the pills. It's the pills.
Like, no, you got pulled over when you were fucking shmammered. You might have had pills too, but that clearly
the main culprit was booze, Karen. Yeah. Yeah. I think my line is pretty much if she,
gets behind the wheel of a, of a car.
That's where I'm going to have to have a discussion about it.
Anything else.
I don't give a shit what Karen has to say about like about you call a
whatever you want.
You can call NA whatever you want.
I really don't give a shit.
Just make sure you're funny on screen.
Make sure you have those like total line of like not fully offending the whole community.
Like don't do that.
That's probably where you're going to have to step in.
Exactly.
I'll be the barometer.
If I step in, she's overstepped.
Okay, that'll be our barometer.
And my line is pretty much like, don't get behind the wheel.
Like, just enjoy your life and have a fucking driver for the love of God.
Don't do anything else.
I don't even care if she starts drinking again.
That really doesn't matter to me at all.
But yeah, you're right.
The first line out of her mouth is like, oh, not a big drinker.
Can't go to those pill parties, though.
You know, those pill parties you see on Fox News all the time that everybody's doing.
That's not for me.
That's not for me.
Although I did hear they're doing something interesting with, I believe it's
pronounced booffing.
So I might have to look into that one.
Yeah, that's where we're going.
If you don't know what that is, Google it.
But make sure your safe search is on.
We find out, like here's the thing that we're,
you just have to do this with Patelalmic now.
And it is what it is.
Ashley's going to Ashley.
And she makes that quite clear this entire episode.
Her entire,
she pulls out the full Ashley playbook,
which usually takes like a whole season in the premiere.
She kicks it off immediately with still with what's his nuts.
Josh, Jack Harlow, bootleg Jack Harlow still in the picture.
Cannot believe that.
That is astounding.
Nor does anybody care.
Nobody.
It's not even like a frustrating thing at this point.
Now it's like, oh, of course we're doing this.
We're going to force this whole thing.
But it goes a step further because we bring up Tia.
And obviously we all remember Tia.
She had a great first season.
I'm excited to see what she does this year.
It's like, oh, yeah, didn't meet.
I didn't meet Rob either, her husband.
It's like, whew, first confessional.
Ashley's first confessional.
People may think that Rob is this loving, committed, doting family man.
There's a lot more to him that needs the eye.
You're going to do this, really?
This is what we're doing, the husband attack out of the gate.
You didn't even wait to, like, something happened.
That's crazy.
You pulled out an ex that nobody cares about, Ashley 101.
Ashley 102, go after a relationship that act like you know what you're talking about.
despite having been married to Gallum for fucking 15 years.
But you are the expert on this.
Okay, cool.
Just checking.
By the way,
we also get Ashley 103,
which is befriends Courtney,
act like Courtney is one of your best friends.
And she's exactly like you,
only to turn on her in about seven episodes.
So that's just,
you know,
plant the seats.
Put that one in your back on.
She really covered all of her bases.
She covered all of the Ashley bases.
I'm with you.
I mean,
obviously the Josh thing,
like,
I don't even understand the angle of the Josh thing.
I don't understand that what's,
soever. Maybe he comes from some money and there's something there. Like, it's going to sound
me, but like, he's not attractive. But like, Ashley's forcing me to do this. He's not an
attractive guy. He brings nothing to the table. He's got no personality. So I don't give a fuck about
Josh. You cut him by going to the Love Hotel and then broke up with him at the F1
arcade last year and forced us all to watch that. Only did that I bring him back once again. Yeah,
I didn't. I can't. It's just Ashley gets to me unlike any other housewife. But yeah, you're right. This is
Potomac. This is what's going to have.
happened. There is always going to be husbands on the table. The, the Rob thing, I don't know how to make heads or tails of it. I really don't know. Tia is so new and she was so seemingly anti that typical like I'm going to do this and that and whatever for this. Like I want to believe her, but the reactions don't make any sense. We're going to talk a lot more about that because we have another lunch to discuss a little picnic lunch in a second. And then obviously, you know, the, the, the
Wizards game later.
But when Ashley does that, I'm with you.
As soon as she starts talking about it.
I'm like,
fucking hell.
Like, give it a second to breathe.
I don't care if you hate Tia,
but she does it in a way of,
you know,
I really liked Tia.
I had such a great time with her last year.
I'm like,
did you?
Did you really?
I don't believe you.
All I saw was like you were trying to do different things with
Giselle the whole time and kind of just riling her up and making
Giselle do more Giselle things while you were doing Ashley things.
And then you befriended Stacy for a second there.
I don't know what the fuck she's doing.
It's Ashley.
Like I've never understood what she does or what she brings to the show.
She just annoys me every single season.
So I didn't really think anything of it.
But the Rob thing, yeah, there's going to be a longer discussion as we go through this season.
Yeah.
And I'm curious if this is more of an Ashley angle.
I'm now thinking it's more of a Tia angle.
To your point, maybe, you know, we did chalk her up to not be like the typical housewife,
which is why we kind of like it a lot.
I'm curious about that.
It's not like a red flag or anything.
It's just an interesting start.
But everyone did so well by just being themselves that I really didn't care.
I didn't get bogged down with it.
So that's cool with me.
But that transitions over to Wendy and Stacey, which stoked that they're still friends.
That makes me very happy.
This is, I love Wendy.
And I'm hoping that her and Eddie are innocent.
Like, I'm going to start a go fund me to pay for their legal fees if they are.
But like, dude, you can't, you can't pull up this season in a new G wagon called Saul 91.
That's not a good idea.
What are you doing?
Like, I know what she's doing.
She's doing the thing where she's like, what a guilty person pull up in a new car?
Yeah, yeah, probably.
Yeah.
Yeah, they absolutely would.
I read a couple of different things, too, about like what's going on currently with their legal team.
Apparently, Eddie, and we talk about this, like, they have different legal teams.
Eddie's defense lawyer is now joining the prosecution because whoever got put in, I don't know what county it is, but whoever ended up being the DA is now going to hire his defense lawyer into their cabinet, so to speak, or into their team, so to speak.
And it's happening and the transition is going to happen before they actually get their trial date in 2027, which once I saw 2027, we're not going to get any fucking answers this season about Wendy and Eddie.
And like obviously we would have known if there was more news out there.
And it's really just bits and pieces along the way.
I mean, they've had different, yeah, I guess court dates and different things going on there.
This is turning into from the scenes, Wendy and Eddie, are they on the outs now?
Like, I don't like any of it.
I really don't like any of it for a lot of different reasons, mostly because I like the two of them together and I like Eddie.
But also I don't like from the legal side, are you guys distancing yourself from each other to make it look.
look like there's marital problems and that it appears that the blame game is going to happen
i don't like that from the legal side i also don't like it from the show side because really do not
piss on my back and tell me it's raining i know you guys love each other don't lie to us do not lie to
us that you guys are having actual problems i don't want to endure those scenes because i don't want
to have those questions but stacey great friend she's just a great friend i don't know if you caught
those text messages that were sent out there but she hit all
of her, she got all of her hits out there, if you want to say it that.
She said, my Nigerian sister, love that.
She also said, you will rise, as opposed to I still rise.
My Angela, thank you.
So got to check that box as well.
Just, she's great.
God, she's so good for the show.
I just love everything that she brings to the show.
She's just an absolute peach.
She is one of the premier stars of Bravo TV.
And I will hear no otherwise because she just shows up to,
work and the best part is it's just her being herself and if you give me a season out of the gate
where we can have tia and stacey on the same team again hell yeah because i love tia as well
and that was kind of one of the hangups of last season for me was like i don't like the stacy tea beef
and our biggest thing was like when we had the gummy release like the party for that we both
like wait why is ashley getting no smoke here and tia gets the boot so i'm glad they had
that. I'm glad that we're able to bring these two together with the meeting place being Wendy's
legal troubles. Now, I agree with you when we start to dig into that stuff, especially the scene
with her and Eddie, which we'll talk about, unfortunately, when we get there, pretty sketchy,
a lot of question marks. Doesn't look great. But as far as this, if we can get something positive
out of that and that positivity is Tia and Stacey being friends, win for us at home.
it is it's definitely a win for us at home but also with the the wendy and eddy stuff you would think
that's such a big storyline that it's going to be front and center the whole time that's what
we're always going to circle back to there's an embarrassment of riches on this show right now there's
so much going on there's so many things to talk about and i'm not talking about josh and ashley
there's every single person is bringing something new to the table i don't know what's going to be
front and center i don't know what's going to take over each episode
or whatever trip we go on what we're going to talk about the most.
And that's awesome.
That is such a good place to be in for Potomac because honestly,
when you really think about it,
the thing that comes to mind when I talk about this stuff,
obviously,
Jazeel has nothing going on personally.
So we're not going to talk about that.
She never does.
But the rest of the team,
the rest of the crew has things going on.
So it's just,
it's exciting.
Like this first episode was very exciting because I knew all of this.
And obviously we all knew all of it.
But watching it play out on screen is so different.
and I don't know which way we're going to go.
I don't know how things are going to turn out.
It's exciting.
It's just the prospect of this season and the scenes that we get for the whole season are very good.
So I'm very, very pumped.
And then you throw in there, we got a basketball wife, some NBA monies involved.
We do.
Yeah.
Still, like, that's exciting too.
That's an good addition to the cast.
Alexi played for like 10 seasons.
Yeah.
But yeah, we got basketball.
You want to compare him to Juan Dixon.
And look, he's from France.
He didn't have the college bar that Juan Dixon had.
Well, I'm a fucking bum.
He was a draft fuss.
He sucked.
Alexi got drafted in the first round from what I remember.
Big dude, fucking 7-2.
Like, I'm excited.
And he still coaches for the WIS.
Now, the WIS are, you know, one of the worst teams in the league.
They got the number one draft pick last year.
Neither here nor there.
Which, you know, helps out for why they were able to get everybody tickets.
But at the same time, really excited.
Super excited at her arrival.
We'll talk about her in a little bit.
But this is where we get the first news of what we're going to focus on.
at least for the beginning of the season,
and that is this Tia and Rob stuff,
which I'm actually stoked
that we get an answer this fast,
because usually when Ashley does this
and brings up an infraction from a husband,
it takes 10 episodes to get something out.
And then we find out,
and it's like, oh, that's a big nothing burger.
This time, we've actually got some things to discuss immediately
because Tia saw Ashley,
which only Ashley does, like in this fashion,
She's on stage for what I'm assuming is a live taping of a podcast.
And she's talking about Rob and Tia and airs out his shit on stage essentially.
And Stacey sitting there listening to Tia recap this whole thing.
What was Ashley doing on stage talking about Rob, blah, blah, blah, blah.
Stacey, I do know what Ashley is talking about.
I am aware.
Mind you, Tia has apologized to Stacey for what she said last year.
Stacey didn't apologize for what she did and kicking her out.
I don't know if you noticed that.
Did not apologize.
No.
Which I thought was funny.
She's like, I do accept your apology and then didn't say anything.
But she does say, I do know what Ashley's talking about.
Again, thank you for apologizing for what you said about my husband.
And I apologize for what I'm about to say about yours.
That was a hard line.
That hit.
I was like, damn.
Okay.
What's she about to say?
Yeah.
This is a lot.
First off, where I want to start.
Can you tell me what the difference between Ashley and Whitney roses?
Cities.
Cities.
And I do think Ashley carries herself a little bit better, at least like a little bit more confidence where it's completely unfounded.
We're starting off two of the best Bravo housewife shows the same way, Ashley and Whitney on stage in the offseason saying some dumb shit and immediately saying, you know, I wish I didn't do that.
I just wish I'd say those things.
They bring the same amount to each show.
They don't do fucking anything.
So that's where I am with Ashley.
But yeah, Stacey, hard line.
It's very funny that she didn't apologize.
And this is a lot different.
So obviously, yes, when we go back to the meeting,
when we have Karen Giselle and Ashley sitting down,
it seems like an Ashleyism.
This is not the typical Potomac going after a husband for something that they saw.
And I like that we get the nod to, you know,
every housewife gets this.
Like I got a ton of messages.
And, you know, a lot of it's unfounded.
that a lot of it's not real.
It's made up, whatever.
Whatever it might be.
This has a lot of merit.
This is screenshots of a dating profile, a verified dating profile.
Ashley saw it.
And I love that she says, like, I've been on dating sites here and there.
Maybe not.
I don't really know.
You're on probably every single dating site.
So come on.
But at the same time, this is a lot different.
And when Tia adds a little bit more context to this, he doesn't have social media.
He doesn't put his pictures out there.
So if there are multiple pictures,
there's a lot more here.
This isn't somebody just making up a profile,
sending it over to Ashley and then Ashley running with it like its gospel.
This is different.
This is serious.
Tia's response was odd.
It caught me very,
very weird.
I don't really understand.
Now, again,
yeah,
maybe she doesn't believe it at this juncture,
but it escalates and expedites very,
very quickly to the point where by the end of the episode,
she's like,
yeah,
it absolutely does.
I talk to him.
But along the way,
there wasn't the typical like shock and all.
There wasn't the outrage.
There wasn't the let me check with him because this is bullshit.
I need to find out right away.
It was a lot of,
I guess we're going to have to see where that goes.
And I'm caught off guard because we're in such a great place in our marriage.
And I've been with him for 27 years.
Maybe that's just the way she carries herself.
But it struck me as odd.
It was.
And I was trying to read her throughout the entire episode.
I remember last year tried to do the same.
I mean, it was difficult at times.
I think it's interesting that Wendy talks about her heritage and saying, well, she's
British and Nigerian, and there's a way that they conduct themselves.
So to see her in tears means she's unable to control her emotions, meaning usually they're
pretty buttoned up and they don't let their emotions show on their face.
So I can definitely take that into consideration.
Does that mean that I think she's totally caught off guard?
Not necessarily.
Do I think that she did know?
I don't know yet.
It could go out.
She could have had inklings, perhaps.
Maybe this was like the nail in the coffin.
I don't know.
We need to see more of those two together, honestly, for me to have a real idea of what was going on.
But I agree.
That was my first thought was like, huh, okay.
And Wendy addressing it immediately did help to be like, all right, maybe she didn't know.
But would I be stunned if she knew a little bit?
No.
But I also wouldn't be that surprised if she actually didn't know.
So I'm like really on the fence.
but I'm with it.
It's all on reactions for me right now until we kind of get deeper into it.
Yeah.
Yeah.
bullshit whenever we want to.
But I don't know.
It's just years of doing this and watching these shows.
It,
for whatever reason,
cynicism always takes over for me.
Like,
what are you guys separated?
You guys have been separated for a year.
You came onto the show.
You didn't want to talk about that right away.
Now you're,
we've seen too many like the same thing.
I know.
It's just,
it's tough to get out of my brain.
And I feel like it's unfair to a degree.
And then when you get a response like this,
a reaction like,
this. I'm like, please don't do this to me. I don't want to do this.
Because like, I don't care where it goes. I'm always going to have that bad taste in my
mouth if I feel like you're just kind of pulling the wool over our heads.
Yeah, I think we'll get more, at least reaction based or seeing her with their new best friend
Stacy. Maybe they'll have a discussion about it. But yeah.
Let's take an ad break right here and get back to the rest of Potomac.
For 50 years, Canadians have wondered what the names of IKEA furniture means.
Like Natopa, the guardrail for children's beds.
Natopa means giving your favorite person room to grow.
It means their safety and your piece of...
No.
In Swedish, Natapa means night monkey.
Mark!
IKEA, 50 years of Swedishness at home.
Look, he's wearing little pajamas.
So cute.

to make a true crime podcast we'd want to listen to. We get right to the story. We don't do a lot of
extra talk in, and when we do, it's usually to roast the short hairs off of some loser, murderer,
or scammer. You'll laugh, but only at the people who deserve it. Like, which serial killer
would you most like to shove into a locker? B.T.K. and is awful poetry. Dude got caught
because he didn't understand what a floppy disk was. We look for the stranger than fiction stories,
like the case of Patty James, a killer catfish before the internet was even a thing.
Or Howard Walmsley, a sentient wad of damp laundry who convinced his town he'd won the lottery,
fleeced local businesses out of thousands, and then became a romance scammer.
We've covered tons of cases you've never heard of, cults, scammers, killers.
So come find your next great binge.

New episodes every Friday.
Her move is to invite everybody to the Wizards game, via Courtney.
I got a friend.
She's going to set us up at the game.
I've got tickets, blah, blah, blah.
Everyone says yes.
Giselle gets a FaceTime with Tia.
Answers it.
Tia, this is the biggest question, right?
Because obviously we know now that Rob was on dating sites.
That's already cleared up in episode one.
The bigger question mark is Ashley's response to this whole thing.
Because the way that Tia phrases it, she's like, she's salivating about what's going on in
my marriage right now.
Right.
get cut scenes multiple times.
And yeah, she's jovial.
Schadenfreude.
Great, great word.
Well done.
I love that fucking word.
But yeah, she seems to be taking pleasure in this.
Her shit later.
Like, this is what pisses me off with Ashley.
And again, I love Potomac, and we've watched it long enough to know.
Like, you just kind of have to have Ashley blinders on.
She's going to do this shit.
Don't let her drag the rest of the show down while you watch it.
So I'm not like up in arms.
It's just.
watching her do her thing and say she needs to watch that husband of hers and then say,
you know, I spoke out of place.
I learned about Rob recently and I was provoked.
I couldn't hold it in.
No, you actually do this shit every single season.
You just try to figure out a way to do it.
And now you're going to play indignant and be like, oh, fuck men.
It pissed me off for women everywhere, which I'm not saying it can't do that.
But you have an MO.
You do this.
This is your thing.
So you can't now have it.
different reason for doing it. That doesn't make sense. You did it because you know, which is
very apparent because you keep trying to force Josh, you know that you don't have shit. You've got
nothing since Michael and that whole thing fell apart. Now you're scrambling for a storyline.
Josh didn't work. That scene last year was awful. I forgot about it until you brought it back up,
the F1 thing. And now this, like this is what you do. You aim for other people, hoping that you land enough
to cause a stir with the group so you can sit on the sideline and chime in when you feel like it
with your weird friends that nobody knows like that's your that's your move and look if actually
takes this to hell and decides to claim that he knew about this the whole time and she's trying
to spin into something else and make it a whole thing for the show i'm okay with that direction
just to see where it goes because i don't know if anybody and look this is a good show for something
like that there are other shows other casts that will not take it there can't do that this show can do
this show can do that in a good way.
Giselle is very good at doing that.
Ashley could do it and then Giselle could kind of piggyback off of it.
There are a lot of different people on this show that can take it there.
So at least give us the answers that we need.
Again, I'm not claiming that that's exactly what Tia and Robert doing.
But at least it would answer the question because I do think we'll get the response right then and there.
And I also think it's fair to kind of turn it on Ashley.
Like, yeah, look, I've been married to Rob for 27 years.
We'll handle it in-house about as in-house as we can on a show like this.
But I want to focus on the way that Ashley is.
Because that didn't show me when we keep seeing that clip over and over.
It didn't show me that you were pissed off.
It didn't show me like, oh, yeah, I just learned about it that day and I was furious about it.
And, you know, you can claim the Whitney Rose.
I had a couple of drinks and I just like let it get out of hands.
Whatever.
This was a, I've got some tea for you podcaster that I don't know.
This is what we're going to do.
And I'm going to talk about this in front of everybody and this clip is going to run.
And now people will look to me and be like, there goes Ashley again.
go. Let's see how it goes. No, it just didn't say that at all. It showed that you were very excited
to share that news with other people that you don't know. Yeah, you walked on stage, locked and loaded,
clearly. And that's, I think, where she really loses me, I'm not, we're clearly not Ashley
fans here, but she always loses me by trying to play both sides. If she leaned in and just woke
up and chose violence one day, I was like, you know what? Yeah, I'm messy as shit. And I am
going to do this and I did dig and I did say that on stage because fuck you that's why I would applaud
her like all right cool see how Ashley does is the villain but she wants to be liked by the audience
but she also can't help herself and is unlikable because of right which is why I don't understand
the Josh thing like that it brings you back to the Josh thing it's like I know you want the audience
to like you what the fuck is this like what's the end game with this Josh thing it's got us talking
about it and not in a good way.
We're going to make us not like this guy, which, you know, I think he's a done.
He seems harmless.
He seems harmless, but I hate him.
I absolutely hate him because of what you made us go through last year at that F1 Arcade.
Like, that is kind of where we are.
This is all you're doing, Ashley.
So that's why I just like, I end up like rubbing my eyes and like slamming my head against
the table because I don't get what you're doing.
I usually know exactly what you're doing.
And then you go back to the Josh thing.
And I'm like, you want us to like you.
you and you're going to bring this guy back in and act like we care.
I don't understand what you're doing with any of this.
Yeah, when he rented that, what was it, like a land,
land rover evoke, like the little range rover last year to pick her up.
I don't believe he has that car, but yeah, that whole thing.
Yeah, the Josh, Joshua always and forever remain an enigma.
But that takes us to Eddie and Wendy.
Not what I expected, our first scene with them.
Last time with these two, they were upset as to what was going on.
They seemed a united front as they were approaching their legal battles.
Since that time, apparently a lot has happened.
And if you want to read between the lines, which we're all going to, because as you said,
ongoing case, we're not, Bravo cases as a whole, we're never going to hear about,
an ongoing case, we're definitely not going to hear about it.
So we have to try to figure out what's going on.
It's not our fault.
You know, this is the hand we've been dealt.
So I'm going to sit here and speculate, unfortunately.
We're going through this process.
Wendy says something somewhat precarious.
I'm trying to get my legal team, my legal team, all that it needs and necessary to get in line.
That's when we find out the confessional.
Do you have separate legal teams?
Yes, we do.
Between that and then saying there's moments.
I don't even want to talk to you.
Rebuilding trust.
Things of that nature.
Trust has been broken.
Now I see something happening that I don't love.
I'm interested, but I don't love it because I like Wendy and Eddie.
It appears to me and sound off in the comments that our defense might very well be.
I didn't know what Eddie was doing.
I had no involvement.
Yeah, okay.
That's what I thought.
Yeah, it also appears to me that what we haven't seen is discussions between the two of them of who's going to take the fall.
Who's set and primed to take the fall so that the other.
And look, I don't even really fault them for that.
They have younger children.
One of them has to be out of jail to take care of the children.
You don't want that fiasco.
We've seen Wendy's family.
Like, yeah, I get it.
But don't spin this into a we've got marital issues.
We don't even know.
what it tells me is you guys had discussions neither of you was willing to take the ball you probably tried to tell eddie to do it and he doesn't really want to do it so now you're pissed at him and now you have to quote unquote build the trust back because he doesn't want to just go along with this and end up in jail for a year or two or whatever the crimes actually might be fit that's what it tells me and when we see those emails in this scene and it's so fucking stupid why these morons put shit in writing via email as if all of a sudden the legal
teams aren't going to just pull your fucking emails.
That's what they do.
Bravo's pulling your emails.
Like seriously.
Like Bravo is putting it out there so that we can all see it.
Like, hey, we got to get that up.
Like, is there any other expensive shit that you want to claim was stolen so that we can
add that to the list?
That's what you're doing.
And you dumb,
dumbs put it in email and didn't immediately say,
fuck, all right, we got to backtrack on this one.
I think if I was running some sort of insurance scam,
I would see an email from my partner.
and say, well, we got to scrap this.
Let's just claim that none of the shit was stolen because you're an idiot and you put it in writing and said you guys went through with it.
And again, this is all alleged because I don't know what the fuck's going on.
But when you leave me to believe this and the way that you guys are acting and now talking to each other,
yeah, you guys are fighting because one of you's a fucking moron who put it in writing, probably Eddie,
let's be honest.
And that's where you are now.
But you still went through with it together.
You still did all of these things.
And now you're in a terrible position where at least one of you is probably.
probably going to end up serving sometime or doing something.
You're going to pay a ton of fines, but now you're out there buying Gwagon.
I don't feel bad in any sense because you're idiots.
Like, I would feel bad if you did something wrong and he didn't really have the time to kind
of correct it and show remorse.
And again, you're just doing insurance shit.
So like there's no real fucking victim in any of this.
You guys are now going to have.
Our premiums are going up because when you at least, no, they're not.
Fuck, like your premium goes up.
You email your agent.
and they say, you live in a different area or, you know, the premiums went up.
Like, you're never going to get an answer.
So don't fucking blame Wendy and Eddie.
They're morons.
They'll have to serve some fucking white collar crime bullshit and deal with it because they made
a massive, dumb mistake to try to pull one over on the insurance company.
Somebody's going to have to pay.
And now you guys are bickering because you don't know who's going to have to pay.
That's what it tells me.
That's what this whole thing just told me.
But yeah, it caused a rift in your marriage.
Of course it did because you guys are idiots.
Yeah.
And I don't really care.
about that part, guys.
That's the thing.
They're going to try to make that front and center
and not the focus of what's actually going on.
It's like, yeah, I would assume that shit's going to fall apart because of this.
Like, that makes sense to me.
You might figure it out one or both of you are out of jail if you go to jail.
But yeah, I would imagine a marriage takes a hit when you're being investigated for federal
crimes.
Like, that makes sense to me.
It's going to be interesting to watch it.
Let's just look at Ray and Karen.
Like, there you go.
There you go.
Okay, Ray's leaving in a hop.
You didn't even say goodbye.
God, are we just going to be at an endless cycle of now one of Wendy or Eddie is going to go to jail?
They're going to come out as a new person and there's going to be marital issues because
that's not the person I married.
I've got a new wife or I've got a new wife.
That's the new trip.
It was sound baths, flapper parties and now it's going to be incarceration with marital issues.
Coming out a new person that I didn't marry.
I didn't marry that person.
So I'm not in love with them anymore.
God, that's, yeah, what a way to start this whole season.
But, yeah, I don't know, dude, it doesn't look good.
And, like, if you guys at home, again, all alleged, but if you want to do some of your own research, it's not pretty.
It doesn't look great at all.
We've looked into it, not even that much.
And the first things you look at, you're like, oh, it's a lot.
A lot of it's like that email they showed where you're like, oh, God, why would you do that?
Oh, my.
They did all of this back and forth in, like, emails and texts.
It's bizarre.
But anyway, let's go to the...
They live together.
They're just fucking talking person.
You didn't fucking someone stand on that balcony you have in your house and talk to each other.
I don't know.
They didn't want to get the kids involved.
Yeah, okay.
Wow.
Good for you guys.
Really bit the bullet on that one.
I don't know.
Get burned and do anything but what you did.
Like, that's like Crime 101.
Don't leave a paper trail.
And that's the other thing is by applying for fucking.
90 credit cards, or it was actually
67, so 90s not far off.
You got to put your name and your socials.
Don't you do that bullshit 6, 7?
That's dead. But
everything that they have done
seemingly has left a paper trail.
Guys, the hubris.
The hubris is your downfall, apparently.
The hugerous.
Allegedly. Yeah, the hubris.
No, the hugerous.
The hugerous.
The hugerous.
Yep.
Nice. Well done. I like that.
Anyway, let's go to the Wizards game.
You get to meet Courtney and Alexi, coach for the Wizards.
You can't make me go to a Wizards game, by the way.
Let's not go to the Wizards game.
If we were invited with the ladies of Potomac,
you would 100% be stoked for a Wizards game.
If they were playing the Philadelphia LeBrons, yes.
This team, they're going to make me buy in again.
I'm in, and I hate it.
I had successfully separated from the Sixers for like a year and a half.
Then they go into all this bullshit.
Now I got to watch again.
I can test even when they beat,
even when they beat the Celtics last year,
you were not excited.
Didn't I say it?
And they lost.
I fucking told you.
But here we go.
Well,
they pulled me back in.
Yeah,
I know.
So I'm back.
Cautiously optimistic.
They're going to break my heart again as the Eagles are currently doing,
despite this stupid shirt.
I love this shirt.
Never mind.
Wizard's game.
Everyone else arrives.
Tia arrives and she met Courtney because she came to her office looking for a house.
They started hanging out quite a bit.
I guess she hung out with Ashley too one time.
But as you've already pointed out, Ashley's going to take that and turn Courtney into her BFF.
They probably have known each other forever according to Ashley.
They're inseparable.
We talk on the phone all the time.
That's going to be Ashley's vibe with her, even though I don't believe that happened whatsoever.
But she's kind of giving everybody the rundown.
of who's in the group and, you know,
haven't hung out with Karen yet.
But Wendy, she's my Nigerian sister.
And Stacey claims to be Nigerian sister,
but we're on the fence still.
But that's good.
Like her being on the fence with Stacey gives me even more hope
that we're going to have this super duo in Stacey and Tia
that I'm really looking forward to.
But has not spoken to Rob yet
because she claims,
I don't want to create a scene.
Matters will be handled at a later time.
That doesn't make sense.
and causes me to question things more.
Because later on this evening,
she's going to say to the ladies
when they get to bad habit or dirty habit,
whenever that place is called,
I talked to Rob.
And he was on dating apps.
So your stories are now not lining up.
You pair that with your lack of reaction,
and that makes me skeptical.
Yeah, it does make me skeptical.
And look, again,
just trying to see the light at the end of the tunnel
and maybe there's a way that this makes sense.
I do understand that she didn't want to talk about it
and didn't want to lead on that she had talked.
to Rob in front of the likes of
of Giselle, Ashley, the whole gamut over there.
So that does make sense and I'm okay with that.
But again, I'm just still watching and learning
from all of her reactions.
And there's some things you can chalk up to just,
you know, she's buttoned up and she's British.
But I don't think this one falls into that box for me.
Now, I have a question for you.
When we got to the whiz game and, you know, everybody's there.
And everybody's talking.
And Robin shows up.
one Robin's fashion still fucking sucks.
I don't know what the hell she was wearing.
We're talking about Stacey and what she's wearing.
Stacey didn't look great.
Giselle has the nerve to comment on.
Giselle's crazy.
Just,
Giselle, I admittedly,
she only had like one or two bad outfits last year.
She might be getting better,
but she's all pious about fashion now for some reason
only when it comes to Stacey.
You are renowned on all of Bravo as having the worst fashion sets.
You can't then pass judgment.
although I think Robin has by far in a way the worst fashion sense.
It makes sense why they're friends.
Do you personally, when we get to the Wizards game and everybody's there, who do you miss more?
Angel or Kiara?
Probably Kiara, honestly.
Yeah, Kearnas the answer.
I have to pick the two.
Yeah, because Angel just, that was a bizarre run she had on this show.
Yeah, that was weird.
like, Kiarna at least had some moments.
Like, Angel was just kind of strange.
Like, it was a strange run of show for her.
And then we had all that weird shit with Bobby where apparently we thought that him
and his friends were all huge assholes.
Then we found out later that they had shot that scene like six times.
So we didn't really get the full picture.
Like, production was doing them dirty.
Yeah, like, it was all kind of weird.
So Kiana, I would, I would choose over her.
Yeah.
But anyway.
At least we don't have to.
see Greg going to an engagement ring store.
What do you think they're doing?
I don't know.
Don't care.
I really don't care about either of them, to be honest.
Yeah, it's not something that I have room in my brain for.
Second question for you.
Do you think she still has the condo and he still has the house?
Yeah, for sure.
That's without a doubt.
Actually, they probably broke up.
But again, I would think they broke up.
Wasn't really worth anybody tweeting that one out.
Second question.
Robin comes in.
friends with Stacy
they hit it off that ultimate girls
trip what do you is that a move
or do you think that genuinely like
because Robin I do think that she's aware
of why she had to leave the show
the first time I think that everybody was pretty much fed up
with her except for one fan page that really loves Robin
and always pushes her content out there
everybody else was fed up with Robin
and dumb with Robin
she comes in she's I you've said it best
she had a pretty good episode she seems a little bit more
likable cozying up to Stacy seems
to be a move, but I'm here for it.
Because I do think at the end of the day,
we might see, I don't know if we're going to see
a rift between Robin and Giselle, but I do
think that's going to get under Giselle's skin.
If she's immediately like, oh, no, I actually
like Stacey. She seems nice. She's a good friend
of mine. So I don't
know if it's a move.
I think
that they did hit it off. I think that they are
friends. I don't know how much she knows
about Giselle and Stacey. I don't know.
I could, when a hundred
100% see show Giselle staying on the show.
Like, I don't know how much Stacey Slander is happening with Robin when they're just
like genuinely hanging out.
Like, I don't know if that's going on because I do think that some of the Stacey hate
that Giselle puts out there is for the camera.
And it is funny a lot of the time.
Like their relationship where they're kind of budding heads and Joselle takes a dig,
Stacey takes it in stride.
They kind of smirk each other.
Like, it does.
but if there's a world in which we could have Giselle and Stacey be a little bit more warm towards each other because this third party and Robin, like I'm here for that too.
That being said, we see scenes from later this season that Robin does try to check Giselle and something about the podcast or something or other trying to hold her accountable.
That tells me, I don't know if this is a Stacey move, but I do think, and I'm,
very happy about this. I do think Robin took the time off the show to take some notes and go,
okay, what do I have to do when I come back? And I think she's coming in with a plan of how to be a
different kind of housewife. And that was evident from episode one. She was funny. She was quick.
She wasn't just bending the knee to Giselle and saying whatever, the fact that she's coming in.
And that could be, it could be as simple as that. I don't want to be seen as Giselle's lackey anymore.
So I'm going to be friends with Stacey. And I'm going to call Giselle out, not because I want to
ruin my friendship with
Giselle. I want to be my own housewife. And I'm cool
with that. Yeah. No, I'm totally cool with that. I think that
she's smart enough to realize it didn't work the first time around. And
obviously it went on a little bit longer than it needed to.
The wand stuff definitely didn't help. So as long as we kind of stay
away from the wand stuff and we, you know,
maybe she's not just Giselle's lackey and she has her own personality and
her own spine, I'm fine with it. Those were the two
biggest things that I hated about Robin. If you remove those two or at least
dumb them down a little bit and don't really talk about Juan ever.
I'm cool with it.
I'm totally fine with that.
Yeah.
No, and I think that that was a glimpse as to what Robin can be in the first episode.
So I was stoked.
I was like, hell yeah.
Very funny multiple times that are a few really good one-liners, but everyone else gets there.
Stacey again shows up in what looked like basketball shoes or something, which I think is
funny because I see that she strikes me as the kind of person that's like,
ooh, I'm going to a tennis match.
I need to go by tennis shoes.
Ooh, I'm going to a basketball.
I'm going to a basketball game.
Let's go get some cleats.
I don't know if she would do that.
But without a doubt, that makes the most sense.
Yeah.
Right.
So basketball, need basketball shoes.
She shows up.
Ashley arrives.
This is my Ashley problem.
Another one.
And I love that we're in a place of this show where we can drag Ashley,
but still enjoy the rest of the show.
That's where we're going to try to live all season.
Ashley shows up and she goes up and gives to you a hug.
Like nothing's going on.
I'm glad Giselle calls it out later, I think, or was it Robin?
but Giselle, she's like, you have an issue with,
or how are you going to blow up this family's life
and you're here drinking her liquor?
Like, what are you doing?
And that is Ashley's thing.
Like, if she had walked in here,
understandably like, ooh, yeah, I need to figure this out.
Not going to be all buddy, buddy and cozy and twerk and do all my Ashley's shit.
I'm going to go in here with a little bit of cooth and try to figure this out.
Different story.
Or kick the door down and just be like, what's up?
And like, act like you don't give a fuck.
But you try to ride that middle line.
and that's what pisses me out because you're trying to be cozy with Tia.
You know that it's awkward.
You haven't addressed this yet.
It is weird.
I don't know.
Like that's the shit that bothers me with it.
Like I just definitely pick a link.
No, you're a thousand percent right.
That's exactly where it is.
And we talked about this with Ashley before.
We talked about it earlier this episode.
Pick a lane.
Be on one side or the other.
Do not, do not middle.
Do not be contrite now all of a sudden.
Like, I wish I hadn't said that.
But you know what?
It just pissed me off when I saw that.
And I just needed to.
do that. It's like you're not close enough with Tia. I mean, even the way that you read the text
message that Tia had sent you when you were with your friends, you were mocking her. Yeah,
it was stark as shit. You aren't friends and you act like you don't know why she's upset with you.
But at the same time, now you're going to sit here and say, if I found this out about my friend Tia's
husband that I'm furious about this and I had to share it with the world. Like none of it makes any sense.
It would make so much more sense if you said, yeah, I mean, I kind of proved it. I, I saw,
saw this. One of my friends saw him online, sent it to me. I put it out there. It wasn't just
one of those things. And obviously it circles back to Jiselle in a second. But it was one of those
things where it's like, yeah, no, it's substantiated. Like, then lead into it. That's literally
your job description. And now sit here and say, yeah, I mean, Jiselle found that she said it over
to me. She seemed to be pretty convinced that this was real. I talked about it because that's what
I do. And at the end of the day, you've got some answers. Like, there you go. Now you have to
talk about this. Now you and Rob have to discuss this. And we have to
to talk about it as a cast.
Like that would make so much more sense instead of like,
ah, you know, I just, I don't think that was the time or the place to do that.
I should have waited.
But at the same time, you know, now we have to circle this back to Stacy who told you.
As soon as the cameras come up and running, it's like, no, Stacy's doing her job.
Stacey and Tia aren't cool.
What is she supposed to text her?
No, she had a conversation with her and she said, you know, sort of redacted.
But in the interest of being friends and sharing things and letting each other know what's up,
here's what I found.
And Ashley, what she said is substantiated.
All of us have seen it.
Now it's something that I have to bring to your attention.
Like, yeah, that's fine.
There's no problem there.
What you did is wrong unless you just say, I was being fucking messy.
Okay.
Everything's exonerated.
Exactly.
It's that simple.
But you don't do that.
Instead, you act like the concerned friend that you're angry on her behalf,
which again turns into your hangary, hangary on behalf of all women everywhere.
and you had to get this out and you had to get it out of your head because you're just so pissed off,
which you were laughing on stage.
It doesn't make a lot of sense.
When you're with your friend Corey,
you're mocking the text that she sent,
knowing why she's pissed off.
Even Corey's like,
yeah,
because you set all that shit on stage.
Do you have brain damage?
Do you not remember what happened?
Yep.
So even Corey's like,
what do you mean?
Why are you acting weird right now?
I would love to be in his head where it's like,
wait,
the camera turned on and you just shifted personalities.
What the hell just happened?
Because you were talking shit two seconds ago.
But the game goes on.
We get to check in with everybody.
Robin recently opened up her store,
Glow 30.
She's still doing reasonably shady.
Admittedly missed the ladies.
And a lot has changed.
And she's back.
When she goes,
Karen's got street cred now.
I was like,
oh,
is Robin funny now?
Because Robin's made a couple of funnies.
And I've laughed at all of them.
So that was also very exciting.
Wendy's not thrilled.
She's back.
And Wendy's also not thrilled that Karen's back.
And I know that Wendy and Karen had their beef after the reunion,
because we don't really know what happened.
We just know that Karen didn't fuck with Wendy all the sudden.
And we don't know why.
Well, Karen kind of tried to spin it a little bit too into saying like,
I mean, I had to give her some tough love and tell her to shut the fuck up.
Yeah, right.
Yeah.
That's right.
You definitely just wanted your moment, which I'm fine with.
I thought it was kind of funny at the time.
Yeah, it rubbed the couple of people the wrong way, but whatever.
But aside from that, like there was no real born in the side of their friendship.
It was just Karen decided to do that, say that,
and then Wendy stopped talking to her.
Now, is Karen in a position of power to say things like that?
Maybe we have to see how this whole Wendy anything plays out.
Because if you're going to keep doing this,
what you did in this episode,
I'm kind of on Karen's side for this whole thing.
And I kind of understand where she's coming from.
Yeah, it's going to be interesting to watch all of that shakeout.
And obviously,
uh, bootleg Jack Harlow shows up.
And I was like, what the hell is he doing here?
He works there.
which is the least surprising news ever.
I was like,
of course he does he actually?
Yes.
I thought that was just a shady comment.
Oh,
really he works there.
You know why?
Because I thought it was a shady comment too.
Until he's like,
I'll be back to check on you guys.
And he leaves.
I was like,
did you do work?
And Ashley asked for a ride home too.
Yeah.
Yeah,
he works there.
He's like a VIP concierge for something.
Yeah.
That makes sense.
Total.
Total sense.
Yep.
Doesn't it?
Doesn't that just track?
Then, of course,
that's what Josh does.
You know?
Yeah.
So,
There's no shade, but it just is very fitting for his personality.
But anyway, let's go to the dirty habit bar.
We're going to kind of shake everything out.
And I'm glad that Wendy, because we are getting a different flavor of Wendy this season
from what this first episode was like.
And we've seen a lot of different Wendy's over the years.
Like she has been multiple characters.
And, you know, she started as Dr. Wendy Ocepo with all of her degrees.
and then she got a bit shadier, which we appreciated.
And then she became kind of the voice of reason last season and the season prior.
She was a little bit more neutral.
And now we're seeing a side of her where it's like she doesn't have time,
which I get because you're being indicted, allegedly.
So I understand.
But it is interesting.
But I'm glad that she still has it or to be like, all right, we're all sitting down.
Great.
Ashley, I was taking aback about something you said about Tia.
And I want some clarity.
And that's what Tia drops to Chaudenfreude, which again,
such a good word.
It flows off the tongue.
So Ashley has no fucking clue what it means.
It's when someone takes glee and someone else's misfortune.
But that doesn't matter right now.
You look delighted that misfortune was coming my way.
And here's where Ashley, once again,
I'm just going to highlight where she always loses me.
Because as she starts talking, first of all,
keep that image of her on stage in your brain.
Okay?
The giggling, the ha-ha, the swaying back and forth.
she's having a good time.
Now, pair that with this face.
She's making, look, what I was, and she always does this.
She changes the way that she talks.
She's like, she was different.
What I was alluding to.
It was something I had recently seen, and I was really bothered by what I saw.
And I'm glad Tia's like that.
Well, you seemed like you're ooing and awing about all of this shit.
Well, it's not my tea.
And they can speak for themselves because their relationship.
She gets so, what's, I wish I had the word of what, what she does, like,
because it's so frustrating.
But she takes on this persona of like the caring relative almost where it's like, yeah, you know, this is someone that's very close to me.
And this breaks my heart for you.
I can't be the one to tell you.
Well, that's what she says now, but that's not what she was saying then.
And that's the thing that I think gets missed by, well, maybe not even missed by Ashley.
I think she knows what's going on.
But that's the thing that she just actively avoids talking about is, no, that's not exactly what you were doing.
Right now you're trying to spin it into a protective.
I needed to step up for her because this is what's going on under her nose and she doesn't know.
And I'm going to talk about it out there to bring some light to the situation.
It's like, no, it's not what you were doing.
You found out information didn't really have a whole lot to talk about because aside from Josh,
you've got nothing really going on in your life.
So you decided to talk about Tia to stir up some shit probably right before you guys started filming.
Like that's really what happened.
Exactly.
And as this whole thing breaks down and Jazeel's like, all right, it was me.
Someone sent me the info.
Didn't know what it was.
I showed it to Ashley to verify it was true.
Ashley jumps in it's a verified account.
It's like there you are.
That's who you are.
You're the one with the information.
You're ready to blur it out.
So just do this yourself rather than throw it on Giselle.
But as everything's going back and forth, it starts to escalate a little bit.
And Tia's right.
Like I would have much more appreciated hearing that from someone I see as my friend than out of left field.
Like, sorry, Stacey, you're taking straight.
That was actually really funny that she stopped to look at Stacey.
I'm sorry, you catch the grace.
gives me a lot of hope for their friendship.
But just basic friend 101, since we're 101 in this episode, yeah, just I'll like go to her.
Ashley's not the, unless she's on all of the dating sites, which she is, even though she claims to not be.
She's like, well, I wanted to see if it was real.
And Ashley knew it was.
What is she, Steve Jobs?
Nice one, Wendy.
Love that.
You believe this enough to show Ashley, which means you believed it enough you could have shown Tia.
Correct.
To take this approach now.
And this is lazy work, Giselle, and you're better than this.
But for her to go, man, Stacey, you're dirty.
You waited until the season started.
No, you did.
And Ashley did.
And Stacey got ahead of it.
That's what happened.
It seemed like one of those situations where Giselle thought that Ashley was just going
to take the fall and be like, yeah, you know what?
I found out about it.
I'm not going to throw Giselle under the bus.
But the way the conversation was turning in the way that everybody kind of tossed it
around the table, it did seem like ultimately eyes were going to end up on Giselle.
And I didn't think that.
first because I didn't know it was
Giselle. I thought it was going to be just
another Ashleyism. Like, I'm not going to say
I found it, but a friend
found it. And then she, I guess
gently alludes to the fact that
it was someone within the group and that
allows, I guess that allows everybody
to think that it's Giselle. So Giselle just speaks
up and honestly, I was kind of happy that Jazeel spoke up.
She's like, look, it was me. All right, cool.
Let's see where you're going to do. I like that.
It's almost like she didn't think they were going to spin
it into a, why the
fuck didn't you tell Tia
because you guys are actually friends.
Yeah.
Yeah.
So it just completely,
I guess,
caught her off guard in a way.
And this is not a Giselle that we usually see.
But I actually like that because I do want to see different iterations of Giselle.
I want to see her be a little defensive.
And I want to see what we can get from that and how we can bring that.
Because I do think Giselle probably will come hat and hand in some way,
which it's been a long time since we've seen that.
Maybe something will come.
of this in that sense. Now, obviously, you know, we've got the whole season to let it play out between
Tia and Rob and see where that all is. If it's legit, if it's not legit, I mean, we're going to have
a lot of discussions about that, I think. But for now, yeah, I'm happy that we're discussing
and focusing more so on the group, more so on Ashley, more so on Giselle, because I do think
in terms of the show, like, yeah, we'll get to the Rob and Tia stuff when we get there. But in terms
of the show, like, if you guys are all involved, like, let's get this out of the way now.
let's start talking about this to see which direction we're going to go in and how you guys are going to try to blame other people, i.e. Stacey, within the group, before you even try to start to take some fault of Europe.
Exactly. And yeah, to see Giselle show at least some contrition here to like go up to the DMV. I am sorry about that. I do think they'll be fine. They'll get over that. It's not the end of the world. But the biggest overarching point is like you said, we're keeping it to the group because we don't really know Rob. We're not that invested in Robin T.
marriage. We had some moments here in there last year, but there wasn't like a focal point.
So it's not that I don't care because I like Tia and like because I like Tia, I want to know what's
going on in Tia's life. But I'm much more interested in what's happening with the group and the fallout
from it and why Ashley felt the need to be the one to break that news and Giselle not telling her.
So I like that we're keeping it show-centric. And the last little nugget of information here is,
first of all, Robin is going to be the voice of reason here.
Hey, sometimes you know, you're my girls,
but sometimes you got to put yourself in other people's shoes.
I was like, you really came back to make a make statement.
You are trying and I very much appreciate that.
Whatever it ends.
Yeah, it ends though with Wendy saying,
because just Hale points out,
we're not going to talk about the podcast to you,
don't worry, which I was even thinking about.
And Wendy's like, oh, but you're going to talk about,
my shit on the podcast and jazelle this is like this is where joselle shines because if you push her and
she's got something on you and she's not going to hold back you're acting like you're innocent over there
you're not i was like oh damn okay episode one let's get that right out there that means that
she's going to press this that's exciting because we normally don't get legal issues and people
actually trying to dig at them or people not just agreeing like oh i'm sure you're innocent
despite them probably being guilty.
Giselle's going to push and press and dig into this.
And that is very exciting for the show.
Bad for Wendy,
but exciting for the show.
Bad for Wendy.
But you know what?
The way things have been going,
especially with Wendy and Eddie,
I'm fine with it.
Totally fine with it.
Go after it.
Try to find out as much as you can.
Try to make her talk about it as much as possible.
It's all fair game,
though.
Fair game.
And it ends with confirmation that,
yes, Rob,
was on the dating apps.
Uh,
they had a quick discussion about it.
The other night, which again,
not like shocking news.
We kind of all saw the writing on the wall with all the alleged pictures,
but timeline questions for me just because then I start thinking,
it's like,
oh, well, you said he didn't talk about it.
I said,
I don't know, but let's see what the audience has to say about it.
First one up here from the Jolster.
Artia, Wendy, and Stacey all going to be a team all season
because I love them together.
Steele certainly hope so.
I look there's a lot of different teams that could form from this group and I think I'm happy with the majority of them.
I am too. There's very few things that I saw this episode that I'm wary of.
Even Ashley, because that's expected. She's not doing anything that we didn't think she was going to do.
But yeah, some of the budding friendships and potential fallouts I wasn't really expecting.
And that's that's really exciting for a new season, episode one.
Yeah. From Erica Baz-Holland.
the quote unquote on stage blunder, the new blogger storyline.
Ashley's doing exactly what we saw Whitney do in the first episode of Salt Lake City.
New storylines for new franchises, please.
Yeah, I think that is probably the new one because I do think that bravo pretty much told
everybody like bloggers, podcasters, all of those things are completely off limits.
But, you know, if you're going to go do a live show and be shady, that's always been fair game.
So I think that's.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Zoe could the play?
How did Stacey know everyone got messages about Rob?
if she never talked about it before.
What I got from that is it is a good question,
but I obviously am a staunch, stanch Stacey supporter.
As you can see, Bugs Buddy behind me here.
Thanks, DJ.
I think that she may have heard the discussions,
maybe some of the ladies are talking about it.
I don't think she divulged that she knew about it,
is what I got to do that.
Yeah, it's an important distinction.
I think Stacey knows what she can do
and can't do and what she can say and can't say
because she knows if she
talked about it and it got back to Giselle
in this moment,
Giselle would pin it right back on Stacy.
She tried to, but
you know, it wasn't what we would normally see.
She's very intentional
in how she moves, which I've always appreciated
about her. Yeah, yeah.
From Monica Green,
can this please be, finally be
the season that Ashley gets demoted?
It's not going to. I don't know what it is.
saying we've we've asked for her to be off the show for a long time she's staying there's just
nothing you can do about it yeah you got to just watch it the way we watch it keep ashley over
here she's going to do ashley shit focus on the rest of the ladies and how they react to
ashley shit but don't get stuck on actually shit yeah uh from georgia instead you go i'm
refined the quote go ahead yeah from uh georgia puller do you see improvement in karen since her
one-on-one with andy you're going to have to define improvement um
I think that the one-on-one with Andy was stupid.
She didn't answer anything, but she seems a lot more confident now, which is a
Karen that I like to see.
Because yes, she's delusional and yes, she's not going to make any sense when she's
talking about things like that.
But she seemed a little timid and then avoidant and then kind of not making any sense.
If she's as confident as she is in this first episode with going after people and acting
like her shit don't stink, that's the Karen that I want on my show.
Yeah.
Did she learn anything?
Doesn't appear so.
No, no.
She seems to have this self-righteousness about her now because she's gone to jail.
And that plays very well on screen.
So did she learn?
Probably not.
Is she going to be good on the show?
Yes, apparently.
She's just fine.
Here it is.
This is like my favorite quote ever about Ashley.
And it's in the midst of all that shit.
And Wendy goes, you said you're going to do better, which she did.
We get the clip of the reunion.
you said you're going to do better
and here goes Ashley Ashley
like she's never Ashley today in her life
yes that's such a good quote
that is such a good quote
um do one more if we have a good one in here
running a little late on this one
uh
blacksmith Treve I will I want to circle back to that
another date and we can do it for really any show
but he said if Ashley's the new
Whitney of Potomac who are the other variants
from other franchises
I love the fairy reference.
Yeah.
Is that a Loki reference in the midst of that?
Yeah, that would take me a little bit of time to dig through.
And I want to give it the time that it deserves.
So I will circle back to that, maybe tomorrow's episode.
Oh, here.
This is fun, just to throw it out there since Robin came back.
First, I'll do it double because this one doesn't take long.
Ori Moral Scampos.
What's your opinion with Karen calling Robin Robert?
It's funny.
It makes me laugh.
It is funny.
It is funny.
That's all the matters.
Makes me funny.
Which leads to the last question, unless you find a really good one in there.
Jennifer 612 S, 6120s.
Do you think Juan Dixon will make an appearance?
Not if Robin wants to be liked on this show.
Yeah.
But I do not think this season he will make an appearance.
That's my call.
I don't either.
I think maybe if she's on for a couple of years,
but I think she clearly came back having taken notes.
So I'd be like shocked honestly if she or Juan for that matter even wanted to be on camera.
That dude's a fucking jerkbag like Juan Dixon forever.
But remember what his friend when we were talking shit about him and his friend got in the DMs?
Pretty much they're like, oh yeah, if you saw you in person.
Oh, yeah.
What is this guy?
Yeah, that was funny.
I will continue to talk shit about him.
I don't give a book.
But anyways, great premiere.
Potomac's back.
So excited.
Can't wait to see where this.
season goes. A lot happened. And as you said so succinctly in the beginning, a lot to be
excited about. Yeah, sure is. That's all I got. You got anything else? Nope. I'm good here.
