So why is exactly what we needed.
And I'll tell you why, not just because of her bubbly personality and the quirkiness of everything.
And we were missing that character in Salt Lake, but I'll tell you why.
This is exactly what we needed to finally paint a full picture of what Whitney does, why it's annoying, and why we needed to stop.
Because she has backed herself into the ultimate corner with this one between everybody.
And Kui was the straw that broke the camel's back.
So I'm very happy to Kui's here.
I'll do you one better
Lisa and Meredith
needed a friend
if this is how the teams
are going to be shaking out
if it's going to be
team Bronwyn
and we've got everybody
on that side
I think Heather might float
maybe
I've got a theory
I will get into that
as we get into the episode
I'm hoping and praying
that she floats a little bit
but more than anything
because Meredith tends to check out
Lisa mostly needed a friend
a friend that's actually
going to go to bat for her
that's going to feel alienated
off the bat
rub her back a little bit and tell her everything's going to be okay,
she gets a friend instantly, and that's what this show needed.
As there's a drive in a deep left field by Castellanos,
it will be- Oh man, it's 8 o'clock.
And so that'll make it a-
I don't need the spotlight.
I shine just fine.
Hi, I'm Karma.
And yes, I am a bitch.
Bravo Bros.
Good evening, everybody.
Good morning.
What time is it?
1142.
Good morning, everybody.
Welcome back to another episode of Brav Bros.
your favorite podcast from the pros for everybody
for whoever wants to listen.
I am your co-host, St.
Neil Russell, joined as always by the one and only
Saint Magouther.
What's up, dude?
Yeah, St. Patrick's Day.
I'm going to get right into what everybody wants to know.
The Heather book has not moved.
It has not gone further away.
It has not gotten any closer.
Well, whoa, whoa.
It got closer from day one,
but it has gotten closer since that day.
Ultimate Girls trip, I believe, was when I removed it.
After the fiasco that we saw when we were, where was that Atlanta?
I guess when we were Atlanta.
That's where it all started.
Heather's book got removed completely from behind me and moved all the way to the other end
of the bookcase, actually off of the bookcase.
It is back on the bookcase as of episode two of Salt Lake City.
It has not moved since.
I'm only on episode three.
So it's not like there's a whole lot of change here.
she had a chance the beginning of this episode her in a solo scene with lb we didn't get a whole lot from it so i don't know exactly what was going on
but she had a chance to move a little closer because that's what we want i'm not saying we want heather to be full team lisa full team meredith
full the other side because i'll be very honest the bramwin crew is pissing me off beyond belief i i probably
common i think everyone's feeling that i don't think it is i it's the weirdest thing people are
on their side. I was watching Watcher Hopkins Live
because Mary was on it. People
are on Bramwin's side.
Ricky Lake was on there. Apparently she's a
Heather Whitney's Stan
which first I heard about.
She's the only one.
But like she's not because then they go to
the audience and they're asking about
Angie's toothbrush move.
Was that shady?
Bullshit. That was so stupid.
Then they're asking about
Brahm just got a lot more votes
than I really expected. I thought that the
general public watching this show because Salt Lake has entered into quite unfortunately the
OC Beverly Hills gang who only watch those shows they also now watch Salt Lake.
Oh, I know.
Yeah.
I don't care for the opinions of those people.
I'll be very honest.
I like everybody who watches all of the shows, has a good idea of where all the shows stands,
enjoys the good ones, and then also can look at Beverly Hills and OC and say,
ugh, absolutely not.
Salt Lake, people are fans of Brahmin and I don't quite get it.
And I hope actually, you know what, it's good for us if we're the contrarian because maybe we can set some people straight.
I'm looking.
I was looking on Twitter as you said that.
It's still, that's what I thought.
Yeah, no, most people on Twitter are on our side of the street.
Yeah, but what are you looking at?
Are you looking at our algorithm on Twitter?
No, I just searched Roslick in like latest tweets.
And it's a lot of people on our side of the street.
I would imagine, yeah, people like Kauai, their friends.
frustrated with Bronwyn. I think with the show, first of all, the voting thing I've always,
I don't, I don't trust that. But I think you can probably chalk that up to the same crew
that watches Beverly Hills and OC because they're quote unquote the best franchises out there,
but they don't keep up with everything else, are watching TV live as well. So they're probably
the people voting. The streamers, us, we are the ones that are saying, you think. There's a really,
we got a DM that was really funny.
That kind of proves what we're talking about.
Let me see if I can find it.
Yeah, from, I don't know if I want to docks her because I think the mom is in this group.
Yeah, leave her out.
Anyway, somebody messaged us and said, I have to tell my braf bros what happened this week.
On a local Facebook mom page, someone asked about which Housewives franchise is the best.
Myself and two others were the only ones who did not save Beverly Hills and O.C.
So many of the women said they are good from start to present,
and I said absolutely not.
So there is this crew of people that just assume O.C.
and Beverly Hills are the best out there.
So those are the people that are voting, I believe I'd watch what happens on.
But most likely, yeah, Salt Lake has crept into that position, though.
It's sort of the third show of, yeah, I'm all caught up on OC, of course.
I'm all caught up on Beverly Hills, of course.
And then they'll throw in Salt Lake City.
It's just something that I've noticed recently over the last couple of seasons,
probably since the Monica Garcia season.
That was enough to kind of throw it out there.
So I am a little worried for that.
I'm less worried by the end of this episode
because of the projection that I have in my own brain
for where this show is going to go.
And that's something that we are going to be reasonably skeptical about the two of us,
probably me more so than you.
I think you want it to be so good that you have so much more hope,
whereas I'm just analytics.
I just don't like the idea.
that we're going to have a Bronwyn, Heather, Whitney, Angie, crew going after Lisa,
now Quai, and Meredith.
Like, I want them to be able to stand up for themselves.
And I know what we've expected for Meredith.
Maybe the facelift has done more than just make her look great.
Maybe it's rejuvenated her personality on this show.
And she will get involved in those things.
But in the past two seasons, three seasons, Meredith kind of checks out at some point.
Yes, she'll have her lashouts, but she's not really there every single day.
Lisa just takes a licking.
If you throw Quai into there, at least it spreads out a little bit.
So we might have a little bit more of an even matchup here.
I just do not like where that one side of the group is heading.
I don't care for it.
The toothbrush thing was fucking stupid.
The flip flop from Bromwin is so stupid.
We'll talk well more about that later.
It's just there's too many signs out there, too many warning signs out there for me for the people on that side.
I get what you're saying.
I'm taking this episode to episode person.
Personally, I thought this episode was great.
I actually thoroughly enjoyed myself.
I do see what you're saying as far as when it comes to that group, teaming up specifically,
we tend to know how it goes.
They kind of do the same song and dance, and it rarely lands.
Why I'm not as hesitant this time is because you have the link with Quai.
Whitney does not want to.
I've already clocked it.
She doesn't want to lose that friendship in Quiet.
She really does it.
She's doing everything to lose that friendship.
But yeah, she doesn't want to.
She doesn't want to at all.
But she's doing Whitney shit.
And Kwise is like, wait, who is this person?
Because she hasn't dealt with on-screen Whitney.
And this is what she does.
She takes a story or an event of something, goes to retell it, and misrepresents what actually happened.
She changes specific words, not intentionally.
I don't think she remembers what happened.
And she just throws things out there because it sounds similar to what actually happened.
changes the entire scope of the scene and then shows her ass because it comes back on her.
It's like, wait, because I have both sides of this thing.
Like, Whitney, what are you talking about?
That's not what they said.
That's not what I said.
But they're here to like butt heads with one another with Whitney in the middle.
Why I'm hopeful is because with Quai joining Team Lisa, probably, she's going to be able to explain this whole thing, like how Whitney operates.
on the other side.
Bronwyn, she's a little high and mighty right now.
She's definitely feeling that center snowflake, you can tell.
But at the same time, I'm hoping that she's not so far gone that she can't hear reason.
Because if we sit down as a group and this mellows out and we're able to discuss,
you'll see one person on the outside looking in.
And that is the cause of all of this.
And that's Whitney.
And it's been Whitney.
It's always, always fucking Whitney.
So if we can use all of this, that's why I framed the beginning of the episode the way I did.
This has exposed her more so than ever because it's so cut and dry.
It's so obvious.
It did not need to turn into this whole snafu because it wasn't that big of a deal.
If she had actually translated it, Kwi was saying, yeah, I like everybody so far.
A couple of red flags, but we'll see how it goes.
That's it.
That's all that happened.
But as soon as you sit down in the hotel room, Whitney's like, oof, she's not sure about you,
I'm like, God damn it.
God damn it.
That's not what happened, Whitney,
and you're going to blow this whole thing up.
And then the other ladies are going to use as an opportunity
to try to jump on board and go after somebody
when there's no need to go after anybody because you want to get to know Quai.
But like you said, the silver lining in this and why I'm hopeful for this season,
Quai, Meredith, and Lisa is very exciting to me.
I like that.
The other crew, sure, it's the Island of Misfit toys sort of.
I have faith that we're,
going to be okay. We got to get through Angie, early season Angie, where she tries to push things.
That's kind of her ammo. And we got to hope that Heather's able to bop. If Heather can bop,
it changes everything. If she's the floater like we want her to be, it really changes everything
about this season. And I think we'll be okay. Like, I'm actually pretty hopeful. That's,
that's exactly what I want to see happen. Now, two things. One, I am sick and tired of the
misrepresentation of recapping a story that we watch on screen.
I hate when they change the words around, twist things around intentional or not.
Whitney's is less intentional because I do think that she's other people.
Just because she's a dingbat.
I like the term dingbat now because that's what we're talking about in other shows.
Whitney is a dingbat.
She definitely fucked up and used the wrong terminology, use the wrong verbiage, whatever it was.
Everyone else, like Brahman's is intentional.
I am so tired of Brahman.
The other thing that you talked about, I, if it's,
shapes up to be a Whitney
take down. I'll even throw Angie in
there. That won't play
out in an entertaining way. That won't play
out in a fun way because those two
are always and
instantly in this season going to fall
back on. I'm lashing out because
of what's going on in my marriage. We see
a little bit of it. Recap from her, you know,
scenes from next week. Angie's sitting
down talking about her marriage with Sean. We've
already seen Whitney start to do it with Justin. Now
she's not drinking. There's going to be
fallbacks in there that are just simply
not entertaining. Bromwin is on cloud
nine right now. I need an instant
Bronwyn take down. That's what I want.
She is pissing me off beyond belief.
They're not the island of misfit toys
in their brain. They're the cool kids.
And that is awful.
That is terrible. And I need
the other crew. I need now the Kwai is involved
with Meredith and Lisa. I need those three
to stand up and say, you guys aren't fucking cool.
Like you're just not. And if Heather's
not a part of that gang, they can't
hang with Lisa, Meredith, and Kui.
They just simply can't. So it's not
really going to work out. And I'm fine with the full clash. Again, as long as you remove Heather
from the other side and she kind of floats in the middle, that's exactly the way that the show
should go. And it should be circled on a full takedown of what the fuck is brava doing? All right. So
she married Todd, he's a fucking weirdo. She's taking all of his money. I don't care if she says like,
yeah, there's a reason. There's a way in which he can fuck me. The way she's acting right now,
Todd can't fuck her. The way that she's doing things with Brandon out in the public,
fuck her over. It's just the way. It's just the way. It's just the way.
that they said it. But that's not going to happen. And she is riding this high. She's the cool
kid. She's taking cigarettes from people on the walk, which is so planned. And I know what she's doing.
And it's something that a lot of people have already accused her of doing. She reads all the comments.
She sees how people want people to act on these shows. And she tries to produce in the show. And she's
also riding on a big high right now. I need to take down. I need to take down right away because I
didn't like what she was doing last year. Don't like what she's doing this year. And she's
getting a full head of steam. I just need her to be met. Maybe not full take down. Maybe not
make her go cry in a corner, but make her realize that this is not her show. This should be,
it always will be in my head, a Lisa Barlow show. Lisa needs to show up and let everybody know
who the fuck she is. That's what I want. And I think she will. And I think that's what,
and then we'll jump into this episode. I think that's like when I watched this episode, that's what's
taking shape for me. And I thought that it was entertaining. Like, yeah, we get the Angie stuff. But
Like, I'm used to that by now.
And I, I'm hopeful.
I think Kwi is going to be that missing piece that we needed for the LB Meredith Mark's side of the street because we, we have seen too many times.
Those two kind of check out because there is no path forward because dumb, dumb, dumber and dumbest don't allow for them to talk.
So I think Kwi is that, that bridge that we needed.
I think Heather being back, at least for now, in the middle ground where she's just kind of fun and funny.
Perfect.
but it's going to be interesting to watch it shake out.
And opening up with this Oscars thing,
because Heather and L.B are sitting there chatting about the Oscars.
And Lisa's like, oh, I get invited all the time.
I just never go to the Oscars.
Immediately, I'm like, that's not true.
There's no way that you would turn down something like that.
No, so this is what I think is the truth.
I bet you she does get invited or her brand gets invited,
but it's not what she wants.
She doesn't get the red carpet access.
She doesn't get all of the access to the celebrities.
She's not getting pictures taken of her.
actually up in the nosebleeds. That's what they're giving her. And she can show up and she can
promote Vita or whatever else brands she's doing for throwing parties. That's all they really want.
And she's also obviously part of the NBC family, which we'll talk about later because, you know,
don't diminish my role as a housewife who's on the red carpet, Brownman says that pissed me off
the unbelief. You wouldn't be there if you were to housewife. So stop it. Otherwise, I'll move on to that
later. But for LB, I think she gets invited. I think her brand gets invited to the Oscars camp,
if you will, sort of like how we got invited to be in that like producer, like,
influencer house for the Super Bowl that one year.
I don't really know what this.
Like we weren't invited to the Super Bowl.
We were invited to be part of the Super Bowl stuff.
That's kind of what I think Lisa is being invited for.
And then she gets to go sit up in the rafter.
She's not sitting with Ben Affleck down there, Jennifer Gardner, whoever else that she was
hanging out with.
Those are her friends.
But she doesn't get the friend ticket.
She gets the, oh, yeah, you're doing advertisements for this.
sure, yeah, you can be in the second level.
And she doesn't want to do it because she thinks she's better than that,
which is the illusion that we want for her housewife.
But I bet she probably does get invited.
She just doesn't want to go under that guys.
She would much rather be there and be able to get her picture taken on the red carpet.
Take this for what it is.
But according to Twitter, I don't know if they could check the invite list.
But according to Twitter, she's never been invited to the Oscars.
I would imagine somewhere like, I don't think she's allowed in.
I do think that like Vita, hey, do you want a booth like the Oscar row?
Which is also that's, yeah, that's just, yeah, the Oscars row is the best way to put it.
That's what she's getting invited for.
And obviously Lisa's not going to tell you the full truth because if she admits that she doesn't have an actual ticket to the Oscars where she wants to sit,
then everybody can be like, oh, okay, that's why you're not going.
She wants everybody to think she's invited and under the, you know, whatever threshold that she wants to go.
under and sit in the front row or all those things.
But she just turns it down.
That sounds cooler in her head.
So that's what she's doing.
You have to kind of read between the lines with Lisa.
So I think she's invited, but not where she wants to be.
Yeah.
But Mary,
meanwhile, is with her team member, Ashley,
and she's getting ready for Angie to come over.
This was just a funny scene to me.
This is why I love Mary,
because they're setting crackers on a plate.
But you've got to do it with love.
And as poor Ashley tries to put the crackers
on the plate. She's like, whoa, what do you, what are you doing? That's not love? I got this.
I like, pushed her to the side of does it herself. But it's been two weeks since everything had
happened since the service for Robert Jr. And she's working away through it. She's compartmentalized
and trying to stay positive and everything. And Angie Kay arrives and there's pictures on the flowers.
You do see her, not break. That's not the right word. But just you can see that she is navigating this
very carefully. She's not ready for certain things. So, like, there's a
picture of Robert Jr. on the orchid.
It's like, please don't do that, not yet.
But the biggest overall sentiment from Mary, and this also gives me confidence in this season,
in this show, is the fact that she is still talking about how much she's been leaning on
the ladies, how much they all showed up for her, this family dynamic that she's describing,
because I think what that gives us, which we've lost in seasons past, especially last like two
seasons. Shit breaks down so much and these lines get drawn so firmly in the sand that people
aren't crossing them. If we have this constant reminder of like, well, whoa, let's remember the
root of all of this, which is kind of what Mary's able to do with the group, I do have a lot of hope,
a lot more than I've had that we can move past stupid shit, that if we get stuck on the trivial
things that we tend to get stuck on, the LB of it all, Meredith not doing something, Heather
being Heather, now Bronwyn being Bronwyn, I think having that anchor of like,
whoa, let's check ourselves a little bit.
Let's not go too far because that's one of the snafus that this show runs into a lot
is we go a little bit too far.
And then it's impossible to reel it in, go to the reunion, shit falls apart.
We have no idea where we stand, start the season on rocky ground.
All of that is kind of the formula of the past couple of seasons.
So having this is like an anchor, a reminder, like, hey,
We all love each other.
Let's not forget that.
I think it's going to add a different layer to this season.
That is very hopeful.
I imagine that these women have moved on with their lives and they don't,
they're not thinking about that in terms of like,
yes, obviously they're thinking about Mary and making sure she's good.
The sisterhood thing is over within a week with these women for sure.
I don't think so.
They're already starting it.
They're in San Francisco.
They're in a new city.
They don't give a shit.
I think they're going to be reminded about it when they talk to Mary.
because Mary's role this season, look, it's always great to see her,
and it's great to see her in this capacity too,
with her sitting down and just wanting to hear from Angie,
what's going on with everybody.
That is going to be her role.
She's going to be the check-in, the storyteller,
the, okay, now Heather and Whitney are coming over to my house.
We're going to sit down and talk about a couple of things,
but I'm just kind of checking in to see what's going on with the group.
And yeah, she's going to lightly remind them, okay, yeah,
there's shenanigans, and then you guys kind of cross the line
where it's getting a little too messy, a little too toxic.
But I don't think that's going to do anything for the group, to be honest,
without Mary actually there.
I think she'll be there here and there.
I don't, again, I don't know.
I think she will, but probably not until the end of the season.
I mean, we're still two weeks removed from all of this.
She's sitting down in her house,
and that's probably what we're going to see for, I would imagine,
somewhere between six and eight episodes.
That is totally fine.
But I don't think it's going to have any bearing on the group until she's out to dinner with all of them.
and then they're starting up.
And she might laugh at a few things.
And we saw that in the trailer.
She might laugh at a few things here and there.
But she'll be that check in,
that reminder like,
hey,
what the fuck are we doing here?
And then they'll kind of reel it in.
But without Mary there in like Mary's presence there,
they're not going to remember that.
I think the big thing to take away from this scene,
this wasn't really about that anyway.
This was Angie studying the stage for her shot.
Because she brings up and I've actually been curious where Robert
Sr.
is in all of this.
I didn't,
I wasn't assuming anything.
I just haven't heard.
It sounds like he's around.
Sounds like he's supporting Mary through it.
So that's good.
But her bringing that up.
I'm like,
okay.
Like we knew we were going to get into Angie and Sean.
We knew that they are getting divorced or separated at the very least.
So that's setting the stage where it's like,
yeah,
you know,
hopefully you choose the right spouse to,
to hold you and stay with you.
I'm like,
oh,
you're implying you didn't do that.
Which is a crazy thing to say to a woman who just lost her son.
Like I think there's a line here
She said that in a confessional
A confessional I know
But like I imagine
And Angie's probably having discussions with Mary about this
I just thought it was funny
Because I'm waiting to see
Obviously you're going to talk about
Because Mary's asking
And she wants to get her mind off of it
Like what's going on in the group
I just want to know
Who when, where somebody's going to cross the line
And be like
Yeah you know my life is really hard
It'll probably be Whitney
Yeah my life is really hard
You know I stop drinking
I feel like I'm on my apology tour
And I'm just trying to get everything right with everyone
And by the way, my marriage is falling apart.
It's like, no, no, you don't dump on Mary.
She's just asking what's going on.
There's going to be a time where that happens.
And I want to see what Mary's response is to that.
But yeah, Angie is setting the stage for all of this.
And we knew it was coming.
I mean, we knew obviously Bronwyn and Todd were done.
We heard about Angie and Sean separating.
We heard about Whitney and Justin probably separating still.
It gets kind of confirmed, but not really.
But they're definitely separated too.
So that is going to be their personal storylines.
And that's going to get mixed in.
that's what I'm saying though, that's always going to be a fallback when they have shitty behavior.
Eventually, Angie's going to do too many things like the toothbrush thing later in the episode.
And then eventually someone's going to check her and she's going to be like, I'm just going through a lot right now.
And that's not fun.
They're going to definitely use it to their advantage.
I mean, we've seen them do that with other things.
So obviously it's going to happen.
But Bronwyn Quay and Whitney meet up at a bar.
Looks like a dive bar.
Love it.
And we get a flow chart, which I love.
Love a good flow chart.
Do we need a flow chart for this?
I always need it.
Anytime people involved.
That's fine.
If you could break out a flow chart to explain things, I'm a visual order.
So always doubt for a flow chart.
But this is showing kind of what I was talking about earlier of the connections we now have
between fighting factions.
And that's been the difference in this show is not having that middle ground.
So if we're able to have that where, you know, Bronwyn seemingly wants to have a friendship
with Kwai, which is also why I'm not.
chalk. I'm chalking up later on to St. Patty's Day. Everyone's lit. It's early in the season. People
try to make a name for themselves. I'm hoping it's not like that firm against each other. But with this,
when they're talking amongst themselves, we're just getting where she stands with L.B. Quai's like,
look, that's my friend. I got her back always. But I also want to get to know you guys. So it's almost like
Quy's try to compartmentalize friendships or dare we say put friendships in a box.
Yeah.
Yep.
Exactly.
She's putting friendships in a box to try to get to know everybody, which I like.
But it also sets the stage for this other side of Quai that we have not yet seen because Whitney's like, who-hoo, don't fuck with Quai.
Which is all to allude to this story where, and like the way that it's told, we have, there needs to be a better verb than rimmed at the toilet.
She rims the toilet with the toothbrush.
Her fiance at the time, current husband.
When she said rimmed the toilet and didn't finish with toothbrush,
I was like, what do you mean?
Yeah.
What do you mean to the toilet?
It's like two degrees away from the rimming in general.
Not even actually.
It's like one degree away.
Too close.
Way too close for comfort.
Let's find a different verb.
Yeah.
With a toothbrush or just toothbrush in the toilet?
Swabbed it?
Swabbed it would be fine.
That's the action, yeah, rubbed literally anything.
But I like where quiet stands.
I like that she's been doing this and she's been doing this since day one.
She says, you know, I have a really good friendship with Whitney.
I have a really good friendship with LB.
I know that they're at odds.
I know they don't really like each other.
And that's totally fine.
And I'm just going to keep that at where it is.
Like that's exactly what we're supposed to be doing right now.
And then make it known.
Like, yes, they are my friends.
And I can still have friendships with you, which is something that we talk about all the time.
It's like, yeah, you can have allegiance to people and stand up for them
when you think something's wrong.
But otherwise,
keep a chill.
Like,
be friends with people if you're a newbie.
You've got to make relationships with everybody else.
So I like that she starts off with that.
The fucking,
like,
the way this is phrased,
you don't want to get on her bad side.
She did it to her husband years ago.
This is not like new information.
It's not like she had a group of friends
and someone said something wrong about her
or her and her husband or her and her family.
And she retaliated in a crazy way and spilled gossip
and, like,
created an Instagram account saying,
you know, Jen Shaw updates or something like that, you know, just throwing it out there.
It's, it's not like she's Chris, Chris Harrington doing those things.
She did something to her husband who was her boyfriend like years ago.
And that's it.
Like, I don't like that this is the example that we're given.
This is what we thought.
I know.
And it's so stupid because then you find out, like, we know pretty much right away.
It's very instant when we flash over to Angie and Mary that Angie knows because Whitney opened her big mouth.
Of course, Whitney's going to do that.
Again, it's not a move.
It's just who Whitney is.
She's a thing bad.
So they're going to run with it.
But it's just so stupid to me.
It's like not that big of a deal.
Like, yeah, obviously you don't want to be Stephen in this situation and know that you've
been brushing your teeth for a month with a bummer.
A rim toilet toothbrush.
Yeah.
But like if it was something else, like whatever.
I just, I don't think it's that big of a deal that the ladies should run with it.
It should be kind of a funny story when you look at it.
Instead, it's like, whoa, I don't want to get on your.
bad side, you might use my toothbrush in the toilet. That's your move. That's your MO. It was probably
10 years ago. And she did it to her boyfriend at the time for their own reasons, thinks it's a funny
story. It tells Whitney. Whitney tells it against her. And now the women are going to use it against her.
The whole thing just doesn't really make a lot of sense to me. It doesn't add up. But the real
story here and the real reason why we're all having this conversation sitting down is to find out
how she feels. What's your first impression about everybody in the group? The Heather
thing I think is kind of stupid, honestly.
Like, Quai just kind of throwing it out there.
Yeah.
Yeah, it's, it's, that's a foot in the mouth situation that I think she'll learn from.
That doesn't need to be said.
You don't need to say, well, you know, Heather was really nice to me.
She was giving me eye contact.
She was asking me about my life.
And then she turned on Meredith and she was pointing at Meredith.
And I thought that was a little demonic is what she actually ended up saying.
I don't really think that needs to be said.
And that's definitely not something you want to say because it will be used against you.
And that's the other piece of it.
we need to stop with housewives using specific words and then going to their confessional
and looking up the definition of those words and taking it verbatim.
Everybody, it's fucking ridiculous.
When people say diabolical, honestly, using your boyfriend's toothbrush in the toilet is kind
of diabolical.
That would be diabolical.
Calling somebody demonic slash diabolical, yeah, it's a little close.
It's not how it's meant when you read the actual definition.
So let's just stop doing that because we don't have to hold people accountable.
And she said Diablo, not Diablo.
Yeah, she said Diablo.
Yeah, which also has a close relationship with the toilet if you know what I mean.
But I just, I think that like she got caught up saying the wrong things.
And when she's talking about and when she ends up talking about Angie, this is founded.
The Angie thing is totally founded because Angie did tell her to pipe down essentially in so many words,
you're new here, pipe down.
You don't understand what the fuck's going on.
That's real beef.
That is real beef.
And that's totally fine.
So I'm okay with running with that and having a bit of a storyline there.
The Heather thing, I think, was a little dumb.
I agree.
I was actually going to say that where it's like Heather is saying,
well, whoa, you just got here.
You don't know what's going on.
Like, why chime into that?
That I agree with.
Angie doing it because Quiet chimed in and we'll talk more about it on the spinner van or
the trolley, that doesn't track.
You can't do that.
Especially with Angie going, I stayed out of things.
No, you didn't.
You were a talking head.
You literally, quite literally, you remember?
That's what we were saying.
For that whole first season of Angie Kay, especially early in the season, shit would be popping off.
She would quite literally stick her head in between people's shoulders during conversations.
Like what?
So you were inserting yourself, kind of in everything, which is fine.
Isn't that the whole chihuahua bulldog thing?
Bingo.
That's exactly what it was.
So for her to now take this stance, I across the board on all housewife shows, I think it's such lazy work and a cop out to go.
new girl attack. I think it's so stupid. And it's just like, you didn't have anything else to do.
So you're going to lump on this and be like, aha, well, you just got here. No, she's part of the cast.
So she needs to get involved. I think I agree with the Heather part where it's like you don't know
the ins and outs. So don't comment specifically. But to Kwai's defense, she didn't. What she said in
the big moment that's like being blown up by Angie is, well, one at a time. And sure, you could be like,
whoa, whoa, where'd you come from?
But I think try to shut her down, like you can't get involved because you're new here.
I think that's dumb.
You're all in the same cast, let her get involved.
I'm glad she's chiming.
And it didn't seem forced.
It seems like she's defending Lisa, which we need on this show because Meredith's not going to do it.
I know.
Well, Meredith might do it.
Again, she might be rejuvenated.
We still need to find out exactly what.
She's been more active.
Yeah, she's been a little bit more active, but we need to see which length she's
going to go to.
And it gives me hope towards the end of the episode because she's right there with Lisa and
why which i really appreciate but we'll talk a little bit more about that later you yeah the rest
of it i i fully agree and not to be vicky but going after the newbie low hanging fruit it's just
stupid it's low low intelligence low class like just do for someone who's been on the show for a while
like i don't think at least i don't think of angie like this and maybe some people do i don't
think angie is you know the whitney level where she's fighting for her job year in and you're out
I think she's doing a pretty good job.
She's kind of flying under the radar, to be honest.
I don't think she's doing a whole lot, but she's not all the way at the bottom of the barrel.
She's not other housewives that we want off of our screens because they do the same shit every year.
But if you do this and you do this year and a year out and that's the only thing you have going for you,
you will be in that category.
You will be in that conversation.
So you just have to be a little bit careful.
I just think I chalk it up to that she comes in hot every season.
And she settles in nicely and has a good run.
And she does kind of just like float in the middle.
she'll get involved when she needs to i've always liked angie k so i have i have faith in her but this was
interesting like the way she came in and i'm like what did really the toothbrushes like that's a wild
we'll talk about that when we get there but i need angie to just figure out who your friends are
going to be year and and year out and she just needs to be friends with yeah she kind of like that is
aimless that is the best role that i can think of for angie is actually being friends with lisa you used
to be friends with lisa you had a big moment you know the whole
the fresh wolf thing at the hair salon that was kind of funny but that's pretty much where it's been
you guys have been cordial since you've been nice to each other just be friends again and i think
Lisa would accept that and i think that makes the most sense for angie on this show going back and
forth like brahmwin will burn brahmwin will burn bromwin anybody on that side heather still
doesn't like brahmwin and i'm still working on this but you can tell if you really watch when
brahman's speaking or brahman's going after somebody or recounting a story just
just watch Heather.
She does not like Brahmin.
She's waiting for her moment to go after her.
The best thing you can do is either float or go team LB
and then go after Brahmin there.
That's what I want to happen.
And I think that's kind of what I'm seeing.
And that's why I'm excited about this season is because I see that.
I see a path forward that because of Kauai.
Because of Kwi, I think Angie can eat shit and go back over there to
LB and be like, all right, you guys are making more sense right now.
Because I don't think Angie has too strong of a personality and sense of self.
wants to be center snowflake as she was last year.
Not in a over the top kind of way.
Like I'll never claim like the toothbrush thing was,
but usually Angie's fairly grounded,
which is why I've always liked her.
But I think that if you have Angie and Bronwyn,
this new version of Bronwyn that is just like full throttle all the time,
I don't think Angie's going to fuck with that.
I think she's going to get annoyed.
And I think she's going to vent to quai, to LB, or to Meredith,
and start to slowly walk back that way.
And if Heather can continue to just be in between for commentary,
poof, that's fun.
That's a good set.
Yeah.
And we're both.
The other thing to note,
the other thing to note,
Angie will go as Mary goes.
And I don't think Mary really likes Bronwyn that much.
No,
she doesn't.
Like she doesn't trust it.
Even watch what happens live.
She even said,
and it's funny choice of words,
but they were talking about Bronwyn and whether or not she was a flip flop,
which she is a flip flop.
It's very, very intentional flip-flopper.
Mary said, yes, she absolutely is.
She's a traitor.
And Andy had just said a few minutes before, like, yes, she's going to be on the traders.
We're going to see her there.
So it was a bit of a slip of the tongue.
But at the same time, I'm like, Mary doesn't really mince words like that.
She might actually mean the legitimate, the actual definition of what a traitor is.
So she might not like her.
She doesn't know that.
Yes, she does.
Oh, she absolutely does.
Oh, my God.
Yes.
Yeah.
Yeah.
She's talking about traders a lot.
No, but she absolutely knows what's going on.
I mean, if she watched the red carpet interviews the Bronwyn was doing,
she probably knows the traders are a thing.
She might actually want to be honest, to be honest.
Interesting.
See,
I was more saying that she was saying that Brown was a traitor without any knowledge of traitors
because I could see her not knowing what it is.
But, yeah, I don't think Mary trusts Bronwyn.
And I think we're going to see.
That was the first impression we got at Bronwyn this season was like,
I'm starting to question a lot about you and your motives and your stories and all of that.
not with the Todd stuff.
I'm team Bronwyn 100% with Todd.
Fuck him.
But just everything else.
I think we get a semblance of truth,
a semblance of truth that is very wishy-washy depending on who she's with.
And I think that that's going to be her downfall.
And I also think that's going to create the rift that we need between her and Angie K
that will lead to this,
this trio slash quad potential of Kwai, LD, Meredith, and Angie.
Hopeful, yes, wishful thinking somewhat.
but there is a path to get there.
We're going to take a quick little ad break right here.
This episode is sponsored by Vinted.
I feel like we all have that section of our closet filled with clothes that we keep telling
ourselves that we're going to wear again.
I promise we're definitely going to wear that shirt again, even though it didn't really
fit that well, even though I didn't really get any compliments, or it still has the tags on it
and I actually never wore it, but I have an idea that I might wear it.
And I've been trying to be better about cleaning out my closet.
And Vinted makes it really easy to actually do something with the stuff
that I'm not wearing. Vinted is a secondhand marketplace app where you can sell your clothes you no longer
wear and make some extra money while giving those pieces a second life. And the thing I really like about
Vinted is how simple the selling process is because it could be a headache. A lot of those other sites
are very, very stressful. But all you have to do is list your item. And when it sells, Vinted
creates the prepaid shipping label for you. So you don't have to do all that stuff yourself.
Plus, there's no seller fees. So you keep everything you earn. And the Vinted app is free to download
which makes it really easy to just start listing
some of those pieces that you have
sitting in your closet day after day.
Honestly, it's a great feeling to clear out
some of that space, get some extra money
along the way, and then you use that money
toward refreshing your wardrobe. Maybe it's some pieces that
you'll actually wear this time around. Ready to clean
out your closet, make some extra money.
Download the Vinted app for free and start listing.
With no seller fees, you keep every dollar you earn.
Give your clothes a second life with Vinted.

Yeah.
Speaking of Angie, she's packing and again setting more of the scene,
for the Sean stuff, which we're going to get into at some point.
I am interested in this.
Her and Sean have been a talking point.
Unfortunately, it got, this was, again, you know, sneaky DJ Meredith Marks,
able to wiggle her way out of everything.
She was the one.
She was the first one on this show to talk about Sean allegedly doing some things
behind the scenes in season two, whatever season, Angie came on first, that Sean was
sleeping with dudes and it was like this big thing.
but Meredith never said that.
She alluded to it and allowed someone else to say it and wiggled out of it,
which she will do season and season out.
It's kind of masterful and annoying,
but still masterful tip the gap sometimes.
But she's talking about the past two years.
Her and Sean have been growing distant.
They're avoiding each other.
If we remember early Angie Kay,
her and Sean,
whether it was contrived for TV,
which I do believe now,
given what we're getting,
it was definitely played up
because they tried to paint the picture of
we're always together.
We do everything together.
We're in business together.
Me, him, and Elektra all the time, 24-7, just us three.
And since that has been said, every season, it's been getting a little more distant,
a little more distant.
Now we're here.
So now I look at the whole situation, not the rumors about Sean.
Now I'm not going to get into that stuff.
That's ridiculous.
But their family unit, we've had this conversation before where it seems like,
Sean is with Electra a lot.
I'm not saying that Angie Kay's not.
But Sean's with Electra and then Angie's with Electra.
Very rarely are they all three together.
So I think this started a lot longer ago.
Probably.
I think this is two years.
No, I think it's a slow burn.
I think it's a very slow burn.
And I think that it's been happening for a while,
maybe even before she started the show.
I think the biggest glimpse into all of that was her wife swap episode.
I think that's where we saw it the most was Sean in the lecture
seemingly at the hip and being on the same page with everything.
And then when Angie would come in,
which, you know, it feels a little dirty to even say.
But you read into those logistics.
You read into what she's been saying,
what Sean's been saying,
what other people have been saying about their marriage.
So, look, I think it's legit.
I think it's kind of hitting a breaking point.
And obviously, you know, they are separated.
But I think what we're actually watching right now.
Like I don't question the timing of everything,
which, you know, we have to do on these shows all the time.
I don't question that she's soft launching it for a couple of years.
years and then she's going to hard launch it when she gets to a certain season so that she has a
storyline or anything like that. I think it's very true. I think it's very genuine. I think it's just
something that yeah, you could probably go back and point a finger to. I just don't like knowing
and I don't want Angie to be in a spot where she just does a bunch of dumb shit and then she doesn't
actually have to be held accountable for it because then she could just have a conversation with
the whole group like, hey, my marriage is falling apart. It's like, okay, it's a good way to get done
with everything and not constantly go after it. I don't think she will, but it could just go
through the grapevine like other people will check in and talk to her about it and then everybody
knows yeah the gay great fine so i i think that that's probably what would happen and i don't really
want that to happen i do want to give this i didn't feel bad calling it a storyline i want to give
this moment in her life this whole trajectory in her life the the respect and the screen time that
it deserves however much she wants to show us and see how she's actually doing and see how she's going
through it because i do think she's been on the show for long enough we've gotten accustomed to her
Sean, Elector and everything, where I do think, and it's another weird thing to say,
it's almost owed to us to watch the whole thing unfolds because it gives you a better
glimpse into what's actually going on. And again, I think it's very genuine.
Yeah, I think so too. I think it's going to be interesting to watch Shakeout.
I think we're going to get some very emotional scenes because, you know, Sean's a very emotional
guy. Angie's very emotional. I would imagine they're going to do a lot of it on camera,
which I appreciate. Leave a lecture out of it, though. I don't want the love of God.
Yeah, no, the kids input, the only kid input that I can turn to and say I didn't give a shit about was when Kyle and Maricio sat down with their girls.
That was so weird.
That one was like, okay, you guys already have this conversation.
Now you're doing it for the cameras.
Get out of my face.
The other ones, it always feels like you being there.
So just have your conversations with Sean and Angie and that's it.
Save it for therapy, you know, not Bravo therapy, actual therapy.
But I'm so excited.
that we are going to talk about DJ Meredith Marks this season and the rise.
And I hope that that becomes one of her,
even if she's not involved with everyone else,
but we just go on a journey with her and her DJ career.
Great.
Because I'm starting to think with all that she has going on,
we may see a different Meredith this season.
She wants to talk about all of her shit,
not just a drop in of Meredith Mark's caviar here and there.
If she's trying to show us the inner workings of like her family and the business
and all these different things, I'm so down for it.
And she's in the living room messing with her DJ equipment.
She's in her Diplo area.
She's toured the country, as we all know.
She did Pride.
And she was in New York, L.A., like literally everywhere.
Like, this has been a big deal, which has been really funny to watch.
But we're getting more of a framework of how the family operates.
So this is, I wasn't aware of this.
This is kind of a family business, not the DJ.
Oh, yeah.
Mark's Caviar and whatever else she's.
got going on on the back burner, Brooks is the creative director of Meredith Marks Gaviar,
reads an advisor for a new venture that they're doing.
And Chloe- Always forget about Reed.
Same.
Yeah, we don't talk about Reed very often.
And then you got Chloe, who is the president of Meredith Marks Caviar.
Here's the biggest thing I got from this seat.
And this made me happy for all hanging by a thread, Seth.
They seem okay.
They seem like a real actual couple.
This is the first time I've seen them.
interact or I'm like, oh, you guys might actually like each other.
Yeah.
No, it's, it's funny to say that too, because if you put us back in, you know, the end of
season two, season three, season four, it did seem like they were actually hanging by a thread,
except for that one bathtub scene that we can't forget.
Oh, God.
This is like the most back and forth I've seen from the two of them.
And obviously, you know, we've seen a little bit more of Seth on next gen when it comes
to Brooks.
And obviously he's always a delight when he comes on because I just find him very funny.
But this is from a marriage standpoint, the most like 50,
50 back and forth, being able to, for him to sit there and tell Meredith, like, yeah,
you're kind of smothered the kids. You're more of a friend than you're our mom. And Meredith
tries to say like little kids, little problems, big kids, big problems. It's like, yeah,
but we can't coddle them. And I think you're caught. Like, Seth of old, Seth five years ago,
would never say that to Meredith, never at a million years because he knows what that would
turn into. It's sort of like what we've seen in the last couple years with J.B. and Lisa,
which hopefully they get to where Meredith and Seth are.
But this was lovely.
I mean, we always like to check up with them.
And if they're all kind of operating as a family unit,
if they're operating as a good marriage,
that's what I want to see more of.
So I'm okay with that.
Obviously, we want to see more of Meredith with her DJ stuff.
But I want to throw Seth in there.
Like, why not?
Maybe don't have all the husbands go to like a Todd retreat type of thing.
But these scenes are always good.
Yeah, and I liked it.
I liked what we got out of Meredith.
I like the razzing back and forth.
you know, his impression I thought was unfortunately very spot on.
And she's like, that doesn't sound like me.
I was like, it kind of does.
But I get it.
And then like Brooks popping in where I thought the irony of Brooks, do I bother you?
And he's like in there.
Ah, thanks for having me.
We got to go.
Yeah.
Got to get out of here.
Confirmation.
But her whole angle is I'm taking care of my family.
Fuck off everybody.
Which respect.
But we get to the airport.
And I got to hear about Whitney's 23 and me being 69% of Irish.
British.
Brittany.
Never change.
I can't imagine being
in an airport. I'm probably grumpy.
I'm not wearing green on St.
Paddy's Day. And some woman comes
well, not wearing green. Can I pinch?
No. You can't. With a camera phone
in your face. Get out of my face.
But these two, she approaches
two older women in wheelchairs.
They goes, can I pinch you? They're probably like, ah, yeah,
still take my money. Like, what the
fuck's going on. Pitches them. She's probably right. I'm sure that TikTok did very well.
But I just, the world that she lives in, granted, if you don't know Britney Bateman and her
MO on social media, she will go through airports on escalators, singing show tunes, singing
Disney songs, like loudly and in public. Like, this is her thing. So to see it now entering a
new stage of pinching strangers, would I care for it? No.
Oh, is it really funny to watch?
Yes, absolutely.
And Brittany just keep doing this kind of stuff.
This is the stuff that makes me love Britney Bateman.
I think we're getting the best amount, the best possible amount of Brady.
They overdid it.
She was and still is very much a character.
And I know why they wanted more Brittany and they wanted her to do things.
If she pops up here and there and then she goes on trips with them and doesn't get a ton of screen time,
but she just does weird Britney shit, that's exactly where you want to be.
She doesn't get annoying.
She's just quirky, kind of funny.
People are still going to be annoyed by her.
But in this little dose, I'm completely five with that.
Agreed.
It's the perfect amount of Brittany.
But we get to San Fran and we're reminiscing.
Bronwyn grew up here.
This is where she had her daughter.
And then she met Todd here.
Whitney also spent some time in San Francisco that I don't care about.
But this whole thing, this whole Bronwyn aura that she's putting off is,
I want to show these ladies the positive, optimistic, happy Bronwyn.
I'm fine with that.
That's okay with me.
If there is this different side of you that you're so aggressively trying to push on everybody,
fine.
The problem is your happy-go-lucky optimistic side is taking on a,
I'm the HBIC now.
Like, I'm going to show you why I'm so great.
And in doing so, this is now my show, my group.
They put me as a center snowflake and I'm going to tell you, bitches, why.
That's the vibe she's giving off.
It's not so much that like, this is just a different side.
You're going to see me just living my best life because that would be fine.
There's an air of arrogance to it.
That's not landing so well.
There is.
I need to kind of stop myself from digging too far into it because I think, yes, I don't
really like Brahmin and I kind of hate what she's doing right now.
but this going to San Francisco and saying everybody gets their own room and yes,
I'm going to be on the top floor and I'm a member at this club.
That's fine. I'm totally fine with that.
Yeah, that's kind of the great stuff.
Yeah, that's the good stuff.
So I, and yes, is she doing it a little arrogantly?
Sure.
But I think the majority of housewives that are going to do a trip like this and do these
things, they would do it in the same manner.
So I'm not going to really ding her for that.
But it's, again, it's just more of the same and something to keep an eye on moving forward
with her.
And that's when you get the Oscar conversation where Bronwyn, she did do the interviews on the carpet for E.
I'm not going to take that away.
She didn't do it because she's a housewife.
I will give her credit, though, for this one because she says, Lisa is the one that throws the stone here because she's trying to argue adamantly.
Like, I've been invited every year.
I just don't want to go.
You could convince me it's the situation that you said.
You could also convince me that she's never been invited.
I don't really know.
But for her to sit there and it's very Lisa coded.
and she is reducing it.
Well, I got invited without the housewives tag.
I'm glad that Bronwyn, even if it was performative, which I think it was,
I'm glad that she's like, I guess I got invited for housewives.
You can reduce it to whatever you want to reduce it to.
I was still at the Oscars hosting interviews.
I was like, good.
That I can get by because that is acknowledging like, yes, I'm there for being a housewife,
whatever.
I kind of took it differently.
I took it with the reducing comment that she made, that she almost,
talked herself into like, yeah, you know, my resume speaks for itself in a way. Like, I wouldn't
have been invited. Oh, I didn't get that. I got it. And maybe, look, it could just be that I'm
reading into her arrogance. But I took it as someone immediately saying, and obviously it's Lisa or,
you know, anybody else that wants to chime in talking about her connection to housewives is why she was
there and why she was doing it. She was almost butt hurt a little bit like, well, I still did it,
guys. Like, do you reduce it to whatever you want? I'm like, yeah, you did specifically go and were
invited because you are a housewife on Bravo, which has a relationship with NBC.
Yeah, I know, but like, it's almost like I, the relatability, which is kind of where she used
to live, she could have just said, well, yeah, I mean, they wanted a housewife to do it.
They reached out to me, so I'm honored to do it.
Like, that is kind of where she would have been a season ago, but now it's almost like,
hey, you can reduce it to whatever you want to.
I still did it.
It's like, yeah, yeah, I guess so.
And look, I, I prophesied by saying I might be reading into it a little too much because
she is annoying me.
but that is why you do it.
Like specifically,
that is why you were invited
is because you are a housewife
and because you had some buzz around you.
Well,
let me level with you here.
Because in this moment,
she's not starting shit.
She's just talking about it.
She's not telling Lisa she didn't get invited.
She's not doing any of that.
Lisa's the one that throws the stone at her
and says,
yeah,
I didn't need the housewife tag.
So that's in response.
I don't have an issue
with you getting a little snappy with it
where it's like,
oh, if you want to reduce it,
whatever.
So you could,
could potentially be influenced by your slowly brewing hatred.
That's a possibility.
I don't know.
I guess we'll find out as the season goes on.
That's fine.
But anyway,
we get to the hotel and you get the meeting of the minds,
if you will.
You get Heather Bronwyn and Whitney up in Bronwynn's room.
And then Angie joins.
I actually did like the FBI open up line.
I was like, oh, good call back.
Nicely done.
But we're talking about quai.
And the minute that Whitney starts talking,
I'm like, God damn it.
She's doing it.
The reason that I'm hopeful is what I said in the intro,
there's no way she can wiggle out of this one.
As long as cooler heads prevail and the other ladies,
and this is where I'm nervous,
this is where we could hit a hiccup.
All that needs to happen is the other ladies
just simply need to discuss what actually happened
and what was actually said.
Because as she's sitting there,
she's giving them quies reads of the situation.
Interesting experience.
with Heather and Angie.
She said you were so nice,
but finger pointing,
she didn't like the finger pointing.
So when you frame it that way,
what Kauai was doing was weird with the Heather,
especially at a Housewives show.
Like, of course,
you're going to get into it.
She's pointing her finger.
And even that point,
that was not a point.
That was a gesture.
No.
We've seen Heather point.
That was not a point.
It is just very funny,
though,
because we keep going back to it,
and you make it like slow it down,
put it in black and white,
you make it seem so much more demonic.
And it wasn't really that.
bad. I mean, like, I didn't really agree with what she was saying anyway because she was trying to make the point of saying, I gave you a pill while we were on that yacht. I gave you a Zophran. A Zofran is like people take it for like motion sickness. Like yes, people take it for like chemotherapy, but they take it for like motion sickness, hangovers. That's not pill popping. That's completely different. So it is kind of funny. There's kind of shine a light back on that because I do think last week when everything was going back and forth. And to Quai's point, yes, get in line so that we can understand what the fuck's going on when all of you were yelling at the same.
time. I even miss that part. Like, that's really funny. I wish we actually had that moment because I
could have laughed at that time. Now I'm laughing this week. So it's okay. But I see, I'm hoping it goes
differently. So far it's not because Whitney, like you said, doesn't want to burn that friendship.
This is different than I think the last time this happened on this show was probably Bronwyn and
LB and Bromwin learned very quickly that LB on screen is much different than LB that she has already
become friends with. This is not like a loose,
social friends that Whitney's been friends with and she knows other people in the group and
she's okay to burn that bridge.
There's a lot of history there.
There's a lot of family there, friends there where this could actual, this could have actual
ramifications on her life, on her social life, on her best friends list, like things like that.
So I'm hoping she reins it in and realizes that she made a huge mistake and goes back
and apologizes honestly.
That's the only thing she could do is just add her to the apology tour, hat and hands,
go on over and then hopefully make things better.
I don't think that's going to happen based on how the end of the episode goes.
But yeah, I mean, all she does here is set the stage and exacerbate things exponentially for no reason.
It doesn't like there's no reason this early in the season with a new housewife who's trying to make friends who you are friends with to then drive a wedge in between her and your friends.
You don't this isn't like a ooh, this is going to be juicy.
Let's get into this.
this is a stupid move.
You do this.
Now, Heather thinks something about Kwai
that this could easily be settled
on a conversation between Kwai and Heather.
Like, I didn't love that,
but I don't know you yet.
I don't think Kauai meant anything by it.
I think she was just spitballing with the ladies.
The Angie thing,
that has merit.
It's like, yeah, you called the new girl out
for talking.
Like, that's not that great.
But again,
that could be conveyed so much differently.
Because the way that Whitney does things,
she'll open up and say some stupid shit
sees the reaction
sees it's not going well
panics and just shuts down
and doesn't explain
and then when she tries to explain
she makes it worse and throws quiet
under the bus it's like dude
you have made this into
a mountain
and it was such a one-off
like oh some things were said it's not that serious
we can smooth things over
and if you were actually trying to be friends with everybody
which I do think you are just don't think you're able
to put two and two together, you just make this whole thing a minefield where now,
Quai has to try to figure it out, Angie and Heather are pissed off at Kwai.
Quai has no idea what's going on.
She thinks she's cool with everybody still.
And you have now blown up everybody involved in this whole thing by mislabeling and misrepresenting
it.
And that's not fun.
That's not like, oh, Whitney, good job.
It's like, why are you doing this?
I want Kauai to be friends with people.
I want you to not be friends with people because when you're friends with people,
this is what you do and you make a big mess and you go oops i'm on a hilling journey no damn it
knock it off yeah yeah and whitney's bad moments here are one telling angie about the toothbrush thing
stupid that's going to come back to bite in the ass the other part i'm okay with the sit down with
just bramwin quye and whitney because bramwin's a third party bramwin probably would have brought
it up maybe she wouldn't have brought up the heather thing as much unless heather seemed to be
getting along with quai and she wanted to put a wedge between them
She would have brought out the Angie thing regardless.
So I'm okay with that because that's not really Whitney's fault.
Whitney's fault is then once again talking about this.
That's the thing.
And she can preface it however she wants.
She can say it, you know, it didn't seem like a big deal.
I think it was just a one-off comment.
But once you start talking about it and you're sitting down multiple times with a couple more of the ladies every single time, it becomes a bigger thing.
And they're going to put that however they want.
They're going to take it however they want.
And they're going to turn it back against Kwai because they heard something from Whitney, who is your friend.
that seems to be where Whitney kind of loses you.
She's just not,
she's not capable of putting two and two together,
where she will come away from all of this and be like,
you said it.
I mean,
I don't think I was just reiterating the information.
Like,
you did the toothbrush thing.
So like,
you know,
you have to answer to it.
It's like,
no, Whitney,
this wouldn't be as big a deal
unless you made it a big deal,
but she doesn't realize that she made it a big deal.
Because in her mind,
all she's doing is just talking more about something
that quiet was talking about.
I was like,
no,
you probably could have let it lie and just let Bromwin deal with it.
And if Bronwyn brings it up, then yeah, you can choose to go to Bat for Kwai and be like, yeah, she didn't really mean it like that.
She was just talking to us.
Or you can do what Whitney always does and make it a bigger deal.
And that's what she did.
And then we go out and all the ways are together and we're on the trolley and we're talking and we're trying to figure things out.
And Angie, you don't have enough of a gripe with the newbie yet to do prop work.
Yeah.
I don't know where you're, I'm assuming you went to the.
the front desk and said, I need nine toothbrushes and they come pre-packaged, whatever.
This was like, that this was way too much for me.
I'm like, really?
Like, we're breaking out.
You don't even know, you haven't talked to quiet about it.
You don't know the ins and outs yet.
You're trying to have a gotcha moment for somebody that allegedly said something to you.
By the way, Angie, you are smart enough to know that if Whitney's involved, you need both
sides of the story.
You can't go just off of a Whitney saying.
And this is what I was talking about earlier.
Angie jumps the gun early in the season.
She's like, here's my moment.
It's episode four.
You're pulling out toothbrushes for a newcomer for a story that she hasn't even told you,
that Whitney's told you.
You're not sure if it's true.
And as you bring it up, I'm glad that Kwi went this route.
Like, yeah, yes, I did that.
And I'm watching it home going, yeah, okay, I mean, yucky, gross.
You guys are still together.
He knows what happened.
Who gives a shit?
Why are we now breaking out toothbrushes and trying to make this a thing?
This is Angie K.
tried to have an iconic moment.
And it flopped very hard.
But like she's not part of it.
This has nothing to do with Angie that you just heard.
And all it really does is make quiet look at Whitney and say,
why did you bother telling anyone in this group what happened?
You're starting to see it.
So it's just kind of stupid that Angie did this.
Honestly, I mean,
because it just,
it blows back on Whitney.
You kind of just get shoved to the side because, yeah,
you're doing this and, you know,
everybody gets their own toothbrush.
in case you piss off quiet this week she might put it in the toilet it's like okay
anyway angie you're not part of this get out of my way whitney you and i have to talk so it doesn't
do anything for angie it's not a positive thing it's more of a negative thing obviously but in
regards to the actual situation it's sort of just like what are you doing here why are you even
involved why are you talking about this you can bring it up in a funny way you can bring it up
in a detrimental way you can get into a fight with quiet later in the season and say oh god i hope
you don't put my toothbrush in the toilet because then it takes some heat off of you and she goes
after Whitney for telling her that those are the things that you would normally do this is stupid it's too
quick it's dumb it's the prop work is just not going to hit really anytime so yeah i didn't really
understand that no and you know as things break down once again now everyone's yelling we're trying to
figure out what's what's what and the big gripe is well you just came into this group you don't know
what's going on valid but let's go back to what she said and i'm glad you're glad you're
that Kauai was just reiterating this, getting louder and louder, like, time out, I didn't take a side.
Like the fact that she yells to the entire trolley, I did not take aside.
That to me says, I'm not going to bow down and just support Lisa.
What I was saying is I'm going to support my friend in your teaming up on her.
Let's go one at a time.
That's what she said.
And that's an important distinction because Angie jumping the gun saying, you're new here.
You don't know what's going on.
She didn't claim to.
She said one at a time.
That's all she did.
And I'm fine with that.
But it just kind of starts to fall apart.
And as we're bar hopping, as things are going on,
she's starting to hear more about who Whitney actually is.
Granted, why has known Whitney a while?
They're close.
She's never been with on screen Whitney.
On screen Whitney does stupid shit frequently and forgets about it and goes,
oh, shit, I did do that.
And she's learning, oh, I thought that was my girl.
I thought she had my back.
Why is she telling that story?
Why is she up in the room telling them that I have an issue with them?
Why is she doing all of these stupid things?
I think this is a different Whitney.
And the way that Whitney decides to handle this is by going to the other group that's essentially anti-Quai.
And borderline siding with them.
And when Kwai is like, hey, what the fuck?
She's like, whoa, whoa, I love you.
I love you.
And like the claim that Whitney underplayed, this is where Bronwyn.
loses me even more so.
She's like Whitney underplayed it to save Quy's feelings.
False.
Whitney overplayed it to start a fire.
And there is no reason to.
That's Whitney being Whitney.
And the only positive from her bullshit is like I said, when we started this thing,
there is quite literally no way for her to spin this, to back out of this.
Quai is going to see her for who she is.
If Qui really is the big dog she's claiming to be,
this will be a sticking point.
She's going to call her out.
Boom.
You're going to knock Whitney down early,
which is important because then she won't keep doing Whitney shit,
at least for the foreseeable future.
Yeah, that's a positive of this,
hopefully take away from this, obviously,
and then you kind of push Kauai over to the good side,
at least in my mind.
And the Brahmin thing, too,
like,
while we're discussing all of the Angie shit,
Brahma just saying straight up,
like that's not what I said.
I didn't say that.
Oh, yeah, yeah.
Like, no, what?
Like, what the fuck are you doing?
She did something like that last year, didn't she?
She does.
Yeah.
It is so blatant.
You're on camera.
You've been here for long enough to realize that was filmed.
It comes back to bite you in the ass at some point.
Whitney is not a good, you know, test of character.
So it's not like Whitney's going to stand up and be like, wait, yeah, Bronwyn, you did reiterate
exactly what Kauai was talking about when it came to Angie.
Bizarre because it's not even like you can't convince me that Bronwyn has Angie's back and
was like, well, I don't know.
I look, I wasn't go after Angie.
I was just saying what you had said
and you kind of misconstrued it for me
kind of co-signing it.
It was such a blatant lie,
such a blatant flip-flop that I'm like,
what the fuck are you doing?
Multiple times, by the way.
She went to the room.
She said it like two different occasions.
I know.
So, and like no one called her out on it.
Whitney could have easily said,
yeah, I heard you say that too.
It didn't do it.
Quiet looking there like,
am I going crazy?
What the fuck is this?
Thankfully, again,
you have Lisa and Meredith
who have been through all of this
sitting over there like,
yeah,
don't pay it.
any mind, this is this is exactly what they do. This is exactly what everybody in that group is
going to do. I have less an issue with the Heather thing because I don't even think that she really
took offense to it. I think she was more just like, wait, diabolical. What the fuck you call me diabolical?
What the hell did I do? Which I'm okay with too because again, I don't think it really warranted
that. I don't think Heather did anything bad and why doesn't really, that's the one thing you can
say, like, why doesn't understand the dynamics of what's going on there with Heather and Meredith?
So it's like, okay, yeah. I mean, you thought that I was doing that and being aggressive. I was just, that's
just how me and Meredith interacts.
That takes one combo to explain.
Correct.
So as long as that kind of plays out how it is
and you get Heather just kind of taking a step back
and being like, yeah,
that wasn't that big of an issue.
I have no issues with why.
She just,
I think,
was caught off guard by me going after Meredith.
Whatever.
The problem with thing is like,
no,
this is what you do.
You blatantly lie.
You seem like you're going to be an ally of mine.
And when push comes to shove,
you then flip and act like you weren't there
and you didn't say the things that you did.
We can prove that you did that.
It's just going to take a lot of,
the time to get there because we have to wait for the reunion to actually show you what you said.
Those are the things that are going to come back to bite her in the ass, but not instantly.
And this whole show, this whole bar hopping thing only showed me one thing.
This is Bronwyn's girls.
Bronwyn's leading the cool girl pack.
She's smoking the cigarette on the sidewalk.
Kauai is breaking down because she sees Whitney for who she is, didn't expect it.
Thankfully, Meredith and Lisa are there to have her back.
And she's already friends with Lisa.
So it's not like she lost all of her friends.
Now she's got these strangers kind of consoling her.
she's friends with Lisa so that's good and she shoes Whitney away because this is what Whitney does she
kind of comes out and she's like hey I don't know like what got you so upset I didn't do anything to get the
fuck away from me okay fine I'll get the fuck away from you but she goes back and reports it to the rest of
the girls and then they're like what I don't understand what her deal is she told us to shut the fuck up
on the bus it's like no no no you gagged up on her you actively lied intentionally lied about
what she said to alienate her further and make her feel alone and now you're sitting there like
I don't get what the big deal is.
We're out having fun.
Can't we just have fun?
Stupid.
That's not good.
But it did push and hopefully the byproduct is that.
And we do get somewhat even teams moving forward.
And I think we will, at least for a short time.
I don't think it's going to shape up in a firm those three QWi, LB, M, M versus all of the other ladies.
I just don't see the other ladies not budding heads.
And someone's going to cross the line and go.
back to the other side. So I think we're in a good spot.
I think we just got to, we're going to have to deal with like the Whitney shit of
Broadway, whatever this new version of Broadwin is until she gets knocked down a little bit.
But yeah, let's see what the audience had to say about it.
First one up here from Fush 78.
Why does Heather feel bad for Todd?
He was a shitty husband.
Money doesn't fix that because she doesn't like Brahman.
That's literally she.
Probably.
You cannot convince me that she like, she never liked Bronwyn.
She kind of conceded a little bit.
but that's really it.
I don't think it's that she actually feels bad for Todd.
I think maybe there's more conversations and there's a lot of bashing of Todd.
So maybe you can convince me that there's been enough conversations where Heather's like,
all right,
like kind of lay off the guy.
It's not that big of a deal.
Something like that,
maybe,
but I think it's just genuinely that she doesn't like Bromwood.
I think the root of most of her shit with Bronwyn is that she simply doesn't like her
but doesn't have enough to like go after her.
It's just little things.
But ever since last year,
when did we do the RV thing?
Was that last year?
Two years ago.
It was the beginning of last year.
Yeah.
Ever since then,
she said issues.
And I don't know.
I don't know.
I think it's going to shake out eventually because I think Heather can't
contain it,
which is fine,
actually.
I would like to see her actually address Bronwyn and be fully honest.
But from Tay Cormier,
is it just me or Dequy
really not do anything wrong.
The gangups are getting old.
Yeah.
Yeah, same playbook every year is getting old.
The silver lining this season
is you have Lisa and you have Meredith
who have now gone beyond the point
of being annoyed with this and being able.
They're so used to it,
which is why I think this season is going to be different.
They can literally call it play by play.
Yeah.
say this is going to happen, that's going to happen.
And because they're going to be right, it's going to shut it down faster.
Or we're not going to put as much emphasis on it because it's going to be so blatant.
Like, yeah, they're doing the thing again.
Like, don't, let's not even waste our time.
Let's go hang out with Meredith, Lisa, and Kaui and see what's up.
So I think we're in a better spot, but I agree.
Yeah, no, I fully agree with that.
Elliot from Orlando, am I the only one who thinks that Kauai's toilet bowl thing is more
of a red flag than most thing?
I don't think you're alone, but I just think it has zero relevance to
her in this group
or her coming friends
her husband. Yeah, and like
whatever. And again,
we kind of have a time frame. They were
dating. They weren't even married at the time.
They were engaged early on.
It was four years ago and they were engaged.
Okay. But like still, I just don't think it has
any bearing whatsoever on the rest
of the group. So I don't think it's
a red flag for that regard. Yeah,
you can say it's a red flag for their marriage. I don't care about that
though. No, we don't know what's going
on there with those to it. I think what
what we're trying not we
what they're trying to do with it
is take it and be like look at this
lunatic that just entered the group
is it crazy yeah it's gross
do we know enough about quiet
to label her a psycho
or like this
I use the words demonic no
fucking chill out everybody it's a gross
yucky story that's pretty much it
yeah
from Maddie Regan 1 do you think
the Britney's mad that she
that they have a new housewife but she
doesn't hold a flake I
don't care what Brittany thinks about that.
That is the beauty of where...
I think she definitely cares.
To be honest, I think that she's probably...
She probably tried to talk about it on camera and they probably end up cutting it.
I think that where we have Brittany, what she's doing and what she brings to the show is exactly where she should be.
I do not need her to discuss, you know, being friends with everybody and now Quai is involved.
And are they better friends with Quai than they are her?
Like, that's not the type of thing that I want from Brittany.
I just want her to keep doing what she's doing.
Agreed.
This is going Jennifer M2M.
Why did Whitney speak about Ashley Kwai?
And throw her under the bus so soon and at what cost?
So my thought process is this, now that we've been watching this show for almost, what, six years now?
Here's my theory when it comes to Whitney.
I don't think she can multi-think.
No.
Meaning, I think in her brain she is thinking, this is good for the show.
this is good for my friendships.
I don't think she's able to think about them both simultaneously.
So in the moment, I think she's like, ooh, this could drive a storyline.
Word vomit, throw quiet to the bus.
Ha, then she sits and ruminates and goes, oops, I shouldn't have done that.
What do I do now?
I need to do damage control.
And she constantly switches back and forth in her brain to show brain, friend brain.
and because she can't coincide the two or combine the two,
it gets her into these situations,
which is what you've been saying,
where it's like,
I don't think any of this is intentional.
No.
The stuff she does isn't on purpose.
No,
but this one,
again,
has way more ramifications than the loose social contacts that you have
that you brought onto the show.
So she'll realize it.
It'll feel different.
This is going to be the comeuppance, I think.
I don't think it's going to result in any sort of change from her, though.
That's the only thing.
Oh, no, but I think it's going to call out all of the issues.
We've seen her do this shit for years and get checked to a certain extent.
It's never been a full-blown, hey, this is all the shit you do and we're fucking tired of it.
And I think it's shaping up to take that direction, especially with her at the end.
Like you said, taking what Kauai said whilst crying.
Yeah.
And taking that over to the other group.
It's like, what are you friends with her?
Do you hate her?
I don't know.
I have no idea.
But we'll end on this one because it's very relevant from K. Looker Woods.
Do any of them realize that there are cameras that can confirm with what they said and did not say?
They realize that the Bronwyn one is there were only three people there.
It was Whitney was the third.
She can get away with it until the reunion.
And it's early enough in the season.
You can't convince me otherwise the Brahman doesn't think like that.
She knows exactly how this works.
She'll get away with it for the rest of the season, have to answer a quick,
question at the reunion that'll be it. But so many things
will happen between now and the end
of the season, that it'll be a footnote.
Agreed.
100% agreed. But we'll
see how it shakes out. A lot of things up in the air right
now. A lot of people try to figure out where they
stand and what they're going to do this season
as we saw in this episode.
But I still have a lot of hope.
I think we're going the right direction.
But that's all I got.
You got anything else?
Nope.
