Well, it is Summer House Day, which means that we have a lot to discuss.
We had a lot of things pop off in between last week and this week.
We've got leaked audio that we have to cover.
We've got the actual episode with a lot of tidbits in there that we got to discuss.
And we got to discuss other people that are on the show because I forget every week that there's
other people on this show other than West Amanda and Sierra.
Yeah, I mean, we kind of found the sweet spot where we thought we were done discussing all
of the new current information.
And yet they had surprises.
for us. We've got conspiracy theories. We've got real theories. We've got
breakdowns. We've got everything you want coming your way right now.
What an intro. You like that?
I like that a lot.
As there's a drive in a deep left field by Castellanos.
Oh man, it's 8 o'clock.
And so that'll make it a...
I don't need the spotlight. I shine just fine.
Hi, I'm karma. And yes, I am a bitch.
Bravo Bros.
Good afternoon, everybody, and welcome to another episode of Brav Bros, your favorite podcast from the Bros.
For everybody, for whoever wants to listen, I'm your co-host, Steel Russell, joined as always by the one and only Sherlock Magoutz.
What's up, dude?
They just can't leave us alone.
They really can't.
It's more and more and more.
Before we get into the audio leaks, before we get into all of the other things that have
happens, I guess, pertinent to the show.
I think we should just mention real quick the news that dropped today regarding West's
grandmom.
This is a separate thing.
I want everybody to remember that.
This has nothing to do with the summer house.
This has nothing to do with all the drama.
This has nothing to do with all the shitty allegations, not even allegations, all the shitty
things that happens.
This is a completely separate issue.
So if you don't know what happens, it looks like potentially West's cousin may have
committed murder in killing his step-grandmother.
So that was just reported today from outside of St. Louis.
And yeah, the whole breakdown of the timeline is apparently they found out the day before
the reunion, as if, you know, like everything aside, feelings aside, West going into that
reunion, I can only imagine what he was feeling.
And then this breaks, that's unbelievable.
So that is obviously completely aside from all of the other shit.
Do not lump it all in.
I saw a couple of people commenting on it like, oh, yeah, this is the timing is suspicious.
Like fuck off.
That has nothing to do with this.
I know people want to do those things, but you guys are idiots if you're going to do that.
Yeah, no, no.
You can make an off color comment if you'd like and like a little dark humor and say,
was this a distraction?
But let's keep things in perspective here.
Somebody was murdered and it has nothing to do with Amanda and West being assholes and
boonking each other.
Okay.
I agree.
very separate.
If you want to play that game, that's your prerogative, I guess.
Do not relate it to this in a serious way.
That is just astinine.
And going to completely derail things.
That's going to make this a lot worse.
If we have to then pick that out of the pile every time we go to talk about this and some assholes like, oh, what about the murder?
No.
No.
And the other piece of this is because of the timing and everything, I mean, there's a chance it gets talked about at the reunion.
just kind of go close-minded on that one.
Don't pull through and say that he's doing a for sympathy.
You have no idea what that feels like that has nothing to do with any of this.
Grill him, skewer him, do whatever the hell you want when it comes to Amanda, Sierra,
Kyle, all of that shit.
This one just, I would turn your brain off while he's talking about him.
Yep.
Seriously.
That's the best advice we can give you.
But we'll see how this episode goes.
We usually do a recap of new news,
surrounding this whole debacle.
If that stretches into a long segment,
we will cut that off there
and do a separate episode for our actual episode recap.
But we'll see how it goes.
This might just be one long episode.
Anyway,
obviously, unless you live in a hole under a rock,
you saw and heard the audio leaks.
We've had three audio leaks come out
at very interesting times, by the way.
And we're playing the game now of,
We found the producer that was doing it, and we fired him.
Over under 75%, how likely is it that Andy is being messy?
Look, Andy's involved.
I think it makes total sense to leak something.
And the way that Andy's going about it,
you watch, watch what happens live last night with Lindsay and Bailey.
The way he's been talking about it, you know, obviously he's got his pitchfork out going after all the,
like, it's one of your employees.
Like, you don't, you're not on a witch hunt.
You're figuring out who in your building actually leaked it.
Do I personally believe that Bravo leaked this intentionally?
Yes, absolutely.
You cannot convince me otherwise.
The way that the leaks came out, that first one was up for a full 24 hours.
Everybody found out about it.
Everybody reposted it.
Then it drops from Reddit and there's all these copyright infringements and whatever may happen,
which would be normal, like a normal course of business for all of this.
But the second leak comes out.
That one's up for less than like 12 hours,
but it's enough where people can record and repost and do whatever the hell they want.
And then right when we're talking about that,
a third one comes out.
And this is after Bravo denies that they are their involvement.
They're saying they found the culprit.
They found the culprit between the first and second one.
Now, my whole suspicion began with it leaking on Reddit.
I think that's ridiculous.
I can't imagine somebody in Bravo in that world who finally got,
and let's just look at it
how it is.
That's probably like a dream job
for someone.
That's a dream job
for somebody starting up.
If you're like
some sort of production assistant
or somebody who's going to be on set,
you are just chomping at the bit
to watch this.
Maybe record it,
maybe send it to your friends.
Maybe it gets leaked that way.
Somebody's fucking selling it to TMZ though.
And I know that after the fact,
people are like, well,
it did get sold to TMZ.
I don't think it did.
I think TMZ picked it up
off of Reddit and then reposted it.
So if that wasn't sold,
then what are they doing it for?
There's no reason.
You get no credit to do this.
It's just to,
the masses? No, that's a Bravo move. Bravo wants to feed the masses because here we are walking
through all of this summer house stuff and we're talking and no shade to anybody involved,
but we're talking about like Carl Softbar. It's like that's incredible. We've talked about that.
We've given him his flowers. But we don't really care about all of the other stuff. We don't care
about Ben and Sabrina. We don't care about KJ and Dara. We don't care about anything else. We just
want to get to the reunion. So they're giving us little bits of information and then saying,
don't worry, it gets way messier at the actual reunion.
The snippet that you guys had wasn't even the full picture.
It's like, okay, then why would they take the recording of that?
It's just the whole thing just stinks.
And I think it's not even like a debatable thing for me where you can say like,
well, yeah, somebody leaked it.
No, no, you can't convince me otherwise.
Yeah, me neither.
Bravo had a hand in this in some way, shape, or form.
Andy knew what was coming.
It's also when you think about what was leaked, like it's so pertinent to the issue.
Obviously, they're going to leak things that are more dramatic and having to do with everything.
It's just the timing is suspicious.
The content within the leaks is suspicious.
The watch what happens live appearances since have been suspicious.
The whole like, like you said, are going to go get this guy who leaked.
I don't buy it.
I'm not fine.
You're doing too much.
And I think.
Well, did you see the report that Jennifer Lawrence was actually the Bravo celebrity?
J-law found it.
Yeah.
That was a bullshit report because then somebody took.
credit for it like Bravo by reality or something online they actually had a DM from
Andy saying thank you you were really helpful with all of this so that was again believe
whatever the hell you want to I don't believe it at all I I good for that person honestly
that would be incredible could you imagine if we came I mean we were very very quick I saw it
as soon as I saw the leak I'm like I don't fuck believe this this was Bravo but I
God could you imagine if they reached out to us they're like hey can you guys act like
you helped us catch this. I'd be like, fuck yeah. Come on.
Absolutely. Oh, my God. Yeah. I'll take a picture and a video and I'll post it right now.
I'll do whatever you want. Yeah, I'll do it with my shirt off. Just tell me what you do, Andy.
Our price is very low. Our price is pretty much give us screeners of every show that you guys do a couple days.
Like not even a week before, just a couple days before. It'll make our life a lot easier.
We're not even asking for any monetary value here. But yeah, so the whole thing was very, very interesting.
I loved the the witch hunt online right afterwards like oh it sounds like I think obviously everybody thinks it was West which it's so stupid like why let's break down that one I saw that one make this down for a sec why would West do it in my mind West would do it if we're to believe that he would leak the audio so that people have time to discuss it now in a weird haphazard kind of way where it won't hit his hard in a couple of
of weeks and everybody's going to go after him.
He's almost like spreading around the glow technique.
Yeah, I guess.
But like that was again, I was having a great time with this because I was living in the
comments, just making different comments here and there.
But yeah, West, West releasing it makes no sense.
No one on that stage releasing it makes any fucking sense.
Like the audio sounds like it's coming from a pocket.
Cool.
It probably was coming from a pocket.
It sounds like it's to the left of West.
I don't know how you would figure that out, but fine.
Jesse's to the left.
It was Jesse.
It's not Jesse.
nobody on stage is in their pocket like oh i gotta record this to put no i don't think uh the only
person agreed but the only person i would see actually doing this is lindsay i think that she would
but like again if we had to pick somebody that was going to do this i don't think anybody was doing
this i'm just saying lindsay would do it just as a get back to amanda because you know this is her
big come up and that she's been saying for a long time yeah but no i don't think anybody actually
leaked it from the stage. I do believe it was somebody in production. I do believe they were told
to do it by Andy. But yeah, there's too many, too many dots that you can connect through this whole
thing. I just remember that Austin posted on his story. It was like, this is such, it's ridiculous.
This is such an infringement on our rights. Whoever did this should be fired immediately.
Like it's, it's on the reunion. Brother, it's on the reunion. It's going to come.
out in a couple of weeks. And this is my stance on the whole thing. I, you guys know how I feel
specifically about Bravo releasing the first seven minutes of next week's episode. I'm lumping
this in that category. I agree. I don't want this. I really don't. Like, I understand why it
happens. Again, I'm operating under the guys that Bravo leaked it for marketing reasons. And that's
fine. Like, if you want us to try to like continue, continue, continue and you want to leak a little
bit here and there, fine, go for it. But I hate it. Because I want to watch it. Because I want to watch
unfold on the reunion. Hearing audio, shitty audio from an iPhone does nothing for me. I know how
this is going to go. Like, yes, we haven't really heard Sierra speak about this. I know she, you know,
answered a couple of questions here and there, but like, we haven't really heard her address this.
So that's very interesting. But again, I want to see it in a couple of weeks. I'm okay. I don't need
the spoilers. Like, what are we supposed to do with this in a couple of weeks? It's like,
oh, that's where the audio started. Like, cool. That's the end of it. There's no real like,
I don't know. There's no real benefits to any of this.
No, you know, I think for a lot of people, they get excited because you get a little glimpse into the reunion.
And I get that if that's your stance.
I'm with you.
I would have rather get it all at once.
But because we got it and because we've listened, we do have to discuss and break this down.
And luckily, we've broken it down into three leaks as they did.
It's sort of like three homework.
Like my brain immediately goes to like, okay, so we're going to talk about this now.
but when it happens at the reunion,
do we just not talk about it?
Or we just reiterate everything we're talking about here.
Like it makes our job stupid and annoying.
And anything that affects our job directly always annoys me.
I do think that there's going to be enough new shit at the reunion.
And these are collectively like eight minutes total, I think.
Yeah, maybe.
Yeah.
Going to ruin anything.
But I feel like I pick up what you're putting down.
But leak number one.
Let's go into leak number one.
And this is Sierra accusing Amanda of manipulation.
It's Kyle co-signing that and saying that's what's been so fraudulent.
This is pretty much a leak that says that when this came out,
you guys acted and did crazy weird shit trying to deny it and trying to throw us off of the scent.
That's what leak number one essentially was.
It's Amanda admitting that she lied and then why she lied.
And this is where I are like I'm already getting.
mad because she's explaining why she came clean.
And all that tells me, because the reason she came clean is she was afraid of the video
being released and being used for blackmail.
Okay.
So that tells me that you weren't going to say anything.
And West wasn't going to say anything.
And then the video came out and you guys went, shit, we have to do something now.
I don't think they were going to address this for a very long time.
Yeah.
I don't think they were going to address it at all, honestly.
I think they were going to let it play out.
And if they kept getting away with it.
it and it ran its course, which it seems like it is already running its course the way that
things are going.
I mean, you can look at all the clips of the two of them walking around and all the things
that were happening.
Everybody's pointing out like, all right, West did not stand up for her.
And that was a big takeaway from all of these audios is West is doing exactly what he did
when he was in the hot seat with Sierra.
He's not talking.
He is not standing up for anybody.
He's only answering questions that are directed directly at him.
So when we're going through the beginning stages of this, and again,
it's chronological.
That's the other thing that you can point to and be like,
all right,
Bravo,
we know you release this.
You guys could have done it in like different fucking pieces.
Like this is,
you're starting exactly where it started.
And then the end is somewhere in the middle.
So it's like,
whatever.
But yeah,
I really don't think that they were ever going to address it.
I think that the,
the video kind of forced their hands and then they decided
that they had to do it.
But it was very much in their standing on that approach of,
it was very new.
It was getting to a point where we didn't know
what to do, but we wanted to keep seeing each other.
And we just had to get ahead of it.
It's like, you did not get ahead of it because now everybody's coming out.
Lindsay was talking about like, I had in clings, Bailey had inklings.
And now she's watching from last summer.
She's like, maybe it was going on.
Jesse's saying that it happened sometime in February, but we find out like, and this is
on Watch what happens live when they're talking about the kiss that happened.
And they talk about it in the audio recordings too.
The kiss that happened where Amanda goes over in the end of February, goes over to Kyle and
kisses him.
And they said it was.
sort of like a joke. It was a joke kiss, which is so fucked up on so many levels. And Lindsay even
points out very astutely, oh, so you're using your husband as a smokescreen to deter everybody
away from your boyfriend. That's fucked up. So yeah, that's, honestly, I expected this. This is
exactly the approach that I expected based off the PR that they've been running. Yeah, and watch what
happens live last night. Lindsay was on and said just that, like he used your, your husband to
distract from your boyfriend, like what a move, which is 100% true. And,
And the other part, you know, of Amanda and West, West doesn't say a fucking word.
He does exactly like you said, what he does where he just goes like, yeah, uh-huh,
and just makes noises and like cosign something or says like, yeah, it was, it wasn't planned.
Like that's all he's contributing to this.
But Amanda, we're going around this, this idea.
And we talked about this a lot that they were going to use the approach of.
We weren't expecting this.
the other side of that that they're really leaning on heavy is we were still trying to figure out what was going on.
Shut up.
What do you mean?
Like that's that don't do that.
Don't do it where it's like we were so bewildered at like this blossoming love.
Stop because it's been going on and building for a very long time.
When we get to leak two, we get more of a timeline.
But the one big takeaway here is Amanda is trying to claim in leak one that they were legally separate.
at that point. They were still legally married, but they were separated. So they're trying to draw a line,
saying, I didn't cheat on Kyle. This happened after the fact. It's very convenient for me that that's all
just happening so nicely. It's like, oh, we were separated and then we went after it. But how did you
get to that point beforehand? And that, to me, says emotional, right? An emotional affair is also a thing.
So now Amanda's saying, I wasn't married anymore. She's getting defensive as shit, which is bizarre. I
wasn't married anymore.
And Sierra's like, yeah, you were by the state of New York.
And she calls her a fucking snake.
She's like, you're a fucking snake.
You lie in the grass and like, you're silent but deadly.
Go fuck yourself.
So it's just highlighting the inconsistencies, the lies.
And I was just baffled that Amanda's taking this heart of a defense.
Like would sit there and take your beating.
Like you deserve it and you know you do.
But you're going to sit there and try to defend.
league two and three gets even worse
because then she starts like going back.
I'm like, what are you doing?
How do you have any ammo to go after anybody on the stage right now?
Yeah.
And the other good thing that I heard in leak one is Mia standing up for Sierra.
Mia getting involved, which we fully anticipated.
She's an absolute real one.
But I mean, her line is always going to stay there.
It's going to be something that we're going to see.
So don't worry about it, you know, in a couple of weeks.
But it's a three weeks from now.
We're going to end up seeing it.
But she does say you divorce your husband to be one of West Side Bitches.
That's what you ended up doing.
And that's the best way to put it.
It's the simplest way to possibly put this whole situation.
And it makes all of Amanda's defense, I'm not even going to say West defense because we don't think that he's defending himself.
But it makes Amanda's defense completely illogical.
It makes no sense.
Like you did that.
And that's what we're trying to figure out.
So I imagine now, based off of what we've heard so far, it does seem like we're going to be spending a ton of time on the timeline.
Now, we've already talked about the timeline.
We have our suspicions.
we have our little tidbits that we're seeing in the show or what we've seen on social media,
they're going to firmly deny everything.
We're not going to get anywhere with this timeline.
So do not get your hopes up unless somebody has a smoking gun, which I, again, just the
way things have been going, we would know about the smoking gun.
So I don't think we're really going to get a smoking gun.
I don't think we're going to get any hard evidence that this started before they're saying
it did.
And that's going to be one of the more frustrating parts.
Yeah, I agree.
I have this weird sneaky suspicion that somebody has something.
major not on stage now but i don't know i just have this inkling that at some point well mea from
southern hospitality said that uh Amanda and west pregame to her date and that date was back in september
so i mean i don't know it's going to be one of those things that we're not going to get shit from the
reunion but then we're going to start watching in the city and we're going to be looking for
easter eggs again and it's going to take away from that show which is a little unfortunate but
we're still going to be looking for those easter eggs because they pick up filming right after summer
house they're going to start in september we might be able to see
I don't know if I imagine they're probably scrambling to find footage of West and Amanda hanging out.
So we're going to be able to see how close their relationship.

It was right after the summer.
Yep. Well, let's talk Leak 2, and this is timeline. This one was a little bit more straightforward.
word. It just gives us a rough timeline. And the interesting thing is that when people start
putting these pieces together of this puzzle, when it happened, who was there, this, that the other,
Amanda is contradicting herself a lot in this one and with things that she said during the season
and in posts online. It doesn't make sense because they're trying to say February is the
smoking gun day, if you will. And that's when they walk in, it was
Kyle, Jesse, Bailey, Levi.
Yeah, they were all, I actually really remember this.
This is the funny part because it was around the same time that it was getting like kind of nice in Philly.
Yeah.
People were out and I remember seeing, I remember seeing Kyle on like one of those fucking scooters and he was on his story.
And he's like, it's a beautiful day.
What are you supposed to do?
You're supposed to go to brunch with everybody.
And that's what this was.
This was pretty much the whole cast was at brunch and everybody was showing up.
and Kyle showed up separately.
But Amanda and West, it's a little unclear right now.
We'll probably figure that out.
They may have shown up together or very close to each other,
but they did leave together.
And that's when Amanda kissed Kyle in the middle of all of that,
which everybody thought was very weird.
And when they looked at West and said,
don't you think that's weird?
He said,
ah,
let her do what she's going to do,
which is a very fucking weird thing to say,
if you're holding a,
I want to call it an affair,
but if you're holding some sort of relationship with this woman.
And now,
this is when we get in a little bit of theory talk,
I think personally that Amanda did that, and we don't have footage of this,
but I think Amanda did that and kissed Kyle in front of West because there were other
inklings that West was talking to other girls.
There was the girl in Chicago.
There was another girl probably in New York.
And she found out about that.
She said, well, we can't go public with our relationship, but I'm going to do something
to piss you off.
I'm going to kiss my husband.
Like, okay, cool.
It's so gross, dude.
And that's exactly what happened in my head, too.
That was a get back at West because she was.
pissed off at him.
And then she uses Kyle,
but everybody alludes to during
that brunch and when they showed up
specifically, because Kyle showed up a little bit later
apparently, I think
Bailey or Levi were like one of
the first ones in and they
remember the second
they walked in, Amanda and West were there
and they were like, oh, this
feels weird. They clocked
it from the gym. I think the next gen girls were there too.
I think the next gen girls were there too because there
was also more reports that somebody on the cast like Kyle was taking pictures with Gia and
fuck I forget exactly what it was now nobody's really asked any questions about this or also it would
be more forefront in my mind but there were a lot of people there there was a lot of bravo leberties there
so that that's also adding a little bit something to it too because we might get more information from
them yeah I'm hoping so and the other part is they start putting together like I said this whole
timeline because they're trying to say that you know it started somewhere around the 28th it
turns out that january 7th is the first date that we can go back to it's the first suspicion
amanda checked location somebody checked her location she was at west's now they're claiming it was
quote unquote unreasonable hours and that she may have actually spent the night there she's
vehemently denying that but they do actually have the second time they hung out or not second
time it's second time they caught them hanging out was january 18
And this was at West's apartment once again.
And again, we get the claim that it was quote unquote unreasonable hours.
Amanda's defense is that there were other people there.
They were watching a football game.
I don't know.
But that's the first too.
So you get January 7th, first suspicion, January 18th.
That is she's allegedly there with other people.
February 28th, all that weird should happen.
She ends up leaving with West.
I guess the idea is they were watching the Rams and Bears.
I just looked up which game was on.
January 18th so yes it was Rams bears Texas
at times the Rams Bears was the late one
I remember that that game did go pretty late because it was
overtime okay so it probably started at 820 was probably over at like 1230 midnight
with overtime um that's not unreasonable to me but you know
if you don't know what's going on I'm trying to play devil's advocate a little bit here
if the game was over at like 1230 and you kind of kicked
people out around like one or so maybe that's unreasonable times but again but did she leave with everybody
who the hell knows and they won't be able to figure that out unless they were there that's my point
it was just Amanda there with all of their friends and we saw that and we even like when those rumors
started coming out it was more like okay yeah let's look at their socials they're all hanging out
in a big group no one else from summer house was in that group not one person Sierra wasn't hanging out
with them and now we're watching Sierra West kind of come together a little bit more friends or not you know
We'll talk about that in this episode.
That all comes to a fruition.
It all comes to fruition because you're looking at this group and you're like,
no one from Summerhouse is in this group.
It's just West and Amanda with a bunch of West's friends.
Like, no one's there.
So no one can corroborate any of this.
But if you're looking at locations and she's leaving it, say, like 1 a.m.
130.
It's not crazy.
If it's 4.
If it's 4.30, yes, it is crazy.
Exactly.
And, you know, Kyle's takeaway from this whole thing is that your statement was
stupid as shit.
Like it was just a word salad.
That's not how you speak.
That made no sense.
It's clearly chat GPT as we're all starting to figure out.
I mean,
it doesn't take a rocket scientist for that one.
But Amanda is shifting the blame and trying to say,
Kyle's been out and about.
He's been making out with people.
Where's the smoke for him?
Are you shitting me?
That is not even remotely the same thing.
You guys are legally separated.
And he's out there doing his thing with people not involved in your life.
He's making out with Megan.
king like king no bearing on on summer house in any way shape or form it's not even like a borderline
valid argument like it's completely out of left field does not work and all we can look at now
so we have the timeline at least at the very very least January 7th is the first day that we can
look back and be like all right well that's probably not when it started but that's when people
started to pick up on some things and that gets us to number three and this is a
Amanda trying to say how bad she feels, the immense amount of guilt. Not enough guilt to
apologize to anybody. Not enough guilt to text Sierra and say, I'm sorry. She didn't text
Sierra until the video got leaked. She heard the video got leaked, panicked, texted Sierra.
Sierra didn't respond, which why the fuck would she? But the big thing is, is you have no
credibility. And so when you're sitting on this stage trying to argue everything, your credibility
is out the window, so nothing's going to land.
And now we're starting to piece together inklings, which I like.
I like that we're going to people and try to figure out how they feel about it,
when they think it started, when they heard about things.
But the craziest takeaway, if you look back at everything,
and this is what started to get people kind of raising eyebrows a little bit,
was their posts.
Yeah.
Because they were together all the time.
She was wearing his clothes.
to me it felt like a soft launch.
It was them teasing this relationship.
So I think in their head, they were going to figure out how to bring this to the public
on their own time down the road very far away.
And I think that they were leaving these little pieces to try to soften the blows.
When it came out, they're like, well, I mean, we've been posting together.
We've been doing things together.
Like, it just happened.
Like, look at the timeline.
We gave you guys the perfect.
timeline. And by that reason alone that they're trying to curate this alleged fake timeline
via breadcrumbs tells me that they've been thinking about how to do this for a long time,
which again, for me, takes this back into last summer. And I don't know if that was smooching and
boinkin yet, but there was something going on last summer. And you can't watch the episode.
We're going to recap today and tell me you don't see the signs. Yeah. Yeah, the signs are absolutely
there. They started something emotional. Kyle's maybe the first person to catch on, which I think is
hilarious and brutal, but kind of funny overall. And I just, I don't know. I like that the snippets
that we're getting, they're pointing out all the things that we've been talking about, which is good.
They're staying on task, which is great. I don't know how you talk about really anything else
that happened this summer except for that. You have a three-part reunion where you just hammer them
constantly and hope that they screw up and mess something up.
But otherwise, I mean, what else?
How else are you going to talk about anything else?
Like, no one's going to be able to, everybody's going to be emotionally distraught the
whole time.
I mean, I imagine multiple people will probably be on stage crying.
And then what?
We're going to talk about like, Ben and Sabrina, what's going on with you guys?
Oh, was Darry in your room too long?
Like, are you fucking kidding me?
No, we don't care about that shit.
Yeah, it's, it's going to be very funny because it's going to be like a,
I guess a macrocosm would probably be a word, right?
Because microcosm is like, yeah, we'll call it a macrocosm.
It's going to be a macrocosm for the entire second half of the season where we're looking at
this like, all right, we're looking for Easter eggs here.
We're trying to figure out, oh, fuck, West and Sierra getting a lot closer.
Ben and Sabrina, I don't care.
Bailey and Carl, hell, yeah, I do care about that.
Lindsay and Carl's mom, I do kind of care about that.
But I don't care about it enough to talk about it at the reunion.
Like, leave us alone.
talk about Amanda and Wes the whole time.
Please talk about them the whole time.
I don't know,
man,
it's just so grimy,
dude,
and,
like,
those leaks were terrible.
And,
you know,
Amanda is,
is trying to play the victim card.
She's trying to say that,
you know,
this wasn't the worst thing ever just happened.
Like,
we didn't expect this.
I knew that,
we all knew they were going to use that approach.
But this is just,
brutal when you listen to these
leaks and you start
to look at some of the shit they were doing.
West used Lindsay's daughter
as a smokescreen.
Yeah. Because that's when
rumors were coming out that they were together
and he was trying to prove like,
I'm not with her. Look, I'm at Lindsay's house
with her daughter and took a picture of the back of her head.
That's the level. And like,
I think people need to clock that kind of stuff.
That's who West is. That's the length
he's willing to go using
his quote-unquote friend's child
to try to throw people
off the scent. He doesn't care about
other people at all.
That's proof right there because he's
using that kind of shit.
Well, the other piece of this is, again,
going back to just the leaks in general,
the context of all of the leaks,
there's not one apology.
It's a lot of spinning. It's a lot of narrative
talk. It's a lot of timeline talk.
And it's a lot of Amanda saying, I felt
guilty, but it's not her saying and looking
at Sierra and being like, I'm so fucking sorry.
which is what you would want to see in general,
but it doesn't sound like we're getting that.
Now,
if it was leaked by someone who had an agenda like that,
say it was West,
say it was Amanda,
whatever,
they would probably leak the part where they're apologizing
and saying,
hey,
we went into this reunion,
apologizing and making sure
that we're trying to make amends
the best that we possibly can,
even though there's no way to do so.
That's what you would be getting
if West were to leak it.
This is not.
This is just substance.
This is try,
it's a temperature check.
It's everything.
you could imagine where it's like, okay, what's going on at that reunion?
Oh, we know what's going on at that reunion.
This is what's going on.
They're just getting absolutely bashed and not apologizing at all.
So it's more of the same, but now we're actually facing our fears,
if you want to put it that way.
So I don't know.
I'm still in the camp of, I wish these didn't come out because now it's going to take away
from the reunion that we've been waiting for and we've been waiting on pins and
meals for those.
But it is what it is.
These things happen.
Yep.
These things happen when you have messy producers and bosses.
And to a certain extent, we appreciate the mess.
But yeah, I agree.
I would have rather waited for this one.
And, you know, if we get anything else, as you know,
we will give you guys the full rundown.
We'll check in and let you know what we know.
We sure will.
Yeah, that went long.
So we're going to cut it here.
And this is its standalone episode.
we are going to start recording our actual episode right now.
So they'll be out back to back.
But yeah, that's all I got.
You got anything else?
Nope.
Nope.
Rob Rosa out of here.
Hi, we're Meg Bashwinner.
And Joseph Fink.
Of welcome to Night Vale.
And on our new show, The Best Worst,
we explore the Golden Age of Television.
To do that, we're watching the IMDB viewer-rated best and worst episodes of classic TV shows.
The episode of Star Trek, where Beverly Crusher has sex with a ghost.
The episode of The X-Files, where Scully gets attacked by a vicious house cat.
And also, the really good episodes, too.
What can we learn from the best and worst of great television?
Like, for example, is it really a bad episode or do people just hate women?
The best worst.
