Look, we're not even saying it from like a watchability standpoint. Watchability. It's fantastic. I mean, my attention span is very short as well. It's more just, we're. still getting used to how to break it down, how to recap it. We're used to just go in long scene, long scene, not pay attention while they're jumping around, but they jump around the entire episode.

It is, it is tough. Although, actually, you know what? The last like 20 minutes were pretty much the same scene. There was a lot going on there. So I'll give it that. At least half the episode was okay. The first half, I could not tell you. We're jumping around so much.

He's not even real. No, I'm not real. I can tell you right now I am not real. Far from it. But as we were saying, I do really like this show. I think that something it has that a lot of shows in the reality space are lacking is authenticity. Actually,

I do think that obviously it's played up for the camera. And obviously they're all trying to mimic what they think is like, you know, successful people live in a New York. city, which is fun to watch. But the drama, the bullshit, the conversations, the friendships, all of that stuff is so real, so genuine, so enjoyable to watch. Like, when you have that aspect of it, like you said, it's a fever dream, but at no point am I, like, not happy with what I'm seeing. Like, I'm really enjoying it. I'm invested in these storylines. I'm invested in these

characters. I think shy's a fucking weasel. I'm on to him. I don't buy the stick. He's that guy that plays a loop all the time. Meanwhile, he's the one stirring all the shit. And then he plays the card of like, oh, what's going on? I'm just shy. See, I feel like shy stepped in the shit and he's just going to continue to step in shit. I don't think he can handle it. I don't either. You think he's pulling strings. Oh, oh. No, no, no, no. No, I think that he's, no, it's not mastermining. It's like he is trying to move through everything without causing trouble and sticking his nose into everything that he doesn't belong in. And because he's just trying to,

he's trying to people please and do what he thinks is right with everybody. If you try to please everybody, you're not going to please anybody. And he's just like, he plays the card of like the shy, just kind of unassuming friend. Like, I'm just trying.

I thought that was like the right thing to do. Like, oh, I didn't know. He plays that role. And that drives me nuts. I get that. I think this episode in particular highlights that,

especially because he's trying to be a friend to Ariana and Hudson at the same time. But he is showing favoritism towards Hudson because I think he's got, I'm reading really far into this now that I'm realizing it. But he finally got that, uh, that dude attention that he craved, like friends that'll actually show him like that, that dude attention that he weirdly so desperately has been seeking. And I feel like he found, he found a group of friends.

They're the wrong group of friends that don't really care what he's going to be doing. And he's, it's sort of like a little balance of like, I'm trying. trying to act like Charlie and just talk like him. But also, I really do care about you guys. And I think this was the first episode. Maybe it's a wake-up call. Maybe he'll start to figure things out. But I think this is the first episode where he's like, oh, fuck, I didn't think about the other side of things.

I'm sorry, Ariana, but he'll never get that access again. And that's the big problem. He's going to be trying to juggle too many hands. And he doesn't really know what he's doing. No, I completely agree. I think that he latched on to Charlie and he thinks he's like, cool. It's like, oh, he's like the bad boy. And like, I wouldn't be like Charlie.

But that comes with people not liking you. And I think he started to realize that as everything kind of unfolds later on. He's like, oh, wait, there's repercussions for being a dick and talking to people about things I shouldn't be talking about. Like, I just, I'm trying to be a good friend to everybody while also being cool and edgy like Charlie. And he's running into some problems. Yeah. Yeah. I also think that this episode pissed off a lot of people probably like,

they probably didn't piss up too many people our age, but like 40 and older, if you're watching this, Rocky Horror Picture Show, and they just completely butcher it every single time and I have no idea what it is, even when Brooks is calling his mom and then somehow adding like 15 people to that phone call,

she is furious. She's like, wait, what do you mean? I'm old and that's why I get it. That's rude. We're not doing that. This was very funny. I thought it was just very funny because it just shows the generational gap,

like not knowing something like Rocky Art Picture Show for us is very funny. But then you realize like, yeah, I guess, you know, cultural impact, it probably did die out a little bit maybe after we started growing up. Yeah. And I think it's really funny that with this, oh, hey, just real quick, with this generation, the complete lack of any knowledge of anything before 2010 is kind of fascinating to watch. Yeah. Because they really don't know, like, any old culture references, which is interesting because we know pop culture references from like our parents generation. And I feel like in the TikTok YouTube era,

I told you it's going to age us. But in this era, I think people really don't. They don't know. And it's surprising. Although Halloween in the city, this is, it's funny when this show came out, it's like, all right, yeah, we'll see how it goes. When we were talking about before in the city came out from Summerhouse,

this is what we wanted. I wanted Halloween. I wanted all of the holidays in New York City and watching people go to holiday parties and go to Halloween parties and do other things, not just summer things. now we're getting it with this show and this is actually a lot of fun too because we spend a good like 10 to 15 minutes just discussing how deep into brooklyn we're going brooklyn is so far away it's like it's like another country for us we can't go out there we never go out there i invoice every time that i have to come out here this is a nightmare and look i mean that's part of living in new york city you just kind of stay where you are and when you want to go to some other borough borough borough borough you don't have a good time it was a good time it was i don't have a good time it was i was i was a good time it was i was i was i was it was i I didn't mind it. But Amira and Ariana,

Amira does like a little check-in just with the Liam thing, the Hudson thing, all that stuff. She's like, what's going on? And we get a little Hudson update. He's going full douchebag. He's gone completely off the rails. He's posting things like fresh off a heartbreak in a fucking like Maserati or Lamborghini or some fancy,

schmancy car. He's posting pictures with his boys in the backseat of these cars. Like, oh, this quote-unquote business part. He's just going full douchebag. He's having a meltdown, not handling it great. Objectively funny to watch a 22-year-old have a meltdown like this. It's just very funny because, like, you see meltdowns happen all the time, especially after breakups where you don't really know how to handle it.

You very rarely see meltdowns happen when you're a billionaire and you have access to all of these things. But I do like that it doesn't really phase too many people. It doesn't really phase Ariadish. She's like, yeah, I don't really care what he's doing. He's doing fucking whatever. He's just posting pictures of cool cars and his friends. And I did see a picture of him with another girl wearing his sweatshirt,

but she was wearing my slippers. Like that kind of pissed me off. Everything else. He's just, he's going through it. I don't know. Yeah, he's doing whatever. He's going back and forth from Atlanta with his business partner. Yeah, doing lots of important business out of his private plane.

Just every picture that he posts. I'm like, God, dude. Yeah. Wealth whispers, bud. Uh-huh. This is tacky as hell. but it does point out, and we talked about it last week, shy, you are friends with Ariana first.

Hudson second. And we knew that this was going to happen if he went to Hudson. Because as Arianna says in this scene, my friend, shy, has been telling Hudson my personal info. What the fuck's going on? And that was the only outcome of this. And that's where he's doing things because he's not thinking them through, but he's going to try to die on the hill of like, I was trying to do the right thing.

It's like part of doing the right thing is thinking through it to make sure that you're not doing something dumb because we called it last week. It's stupid if you were friends with her first. No, you should not go to Hudson, especially when Ava and Rowan say, ask Ariana first. And then you misremember and say they told me to tell you. And even I was like, I know Rowan didn't say that. This guy's full of shit. I loved that part of it.

We'll talk about that when it happens. It just shows you how authentic the friendships are. Like, ah, she would never fucking out me like that. She wouldn't do anything like that. That would be stupid. But yeah, shy is having a hard time. He's coming to grips. I really thought it was going to be Hudson that we were going to watch.

Now, obviously, he is spiraling. But I thought it was going to be Hudson that we were going to watch, like mixing it up and trying to fight other dudes getting in Liam's face because he was being Charlie and because he was going through the breakup or whatever it was. I did not really see shy having to do this. Now, obviously, we have the conversation between Brooks and Charlie that involves shy. Like, why are you guys hanging out? This is fucking weird.

This doesn't make any sense to me. But, yeah, it's a bit of a learning curve for shy. He doesn't, he's not used to having access to this. He's not used to talking shit with other people. He's used to just being the nice guy. He's trying it out. He's testing the waters and the waters are fighting back and it's not great. I agree.

I think he's going to find out more the hard way that his, uh, attempted new trawerex. is just going to get him into stupid situations. But there's two parties. We made a big deal about the Frick party for not getting any time at the Frick party. But after the Frick party, there was the House of Yes, Rocky Horror Picture Show party. Now, you got half the group is departing the Frick, hit it over there. And you get the first interaction that we've seen between Kevin, the boyfriend of Amira and Georgia and Amira. As they're getting in the car.

And all this does raise questions for me. But Amira says to Kevin, I don't want you to say next to that. I'm assuming fucking see you next Tuesday. Yeah. So I get that Georgia seems to rub people the wrong way. Like that's the kind of the vibe I'm picking up. And very likely we're not getting the full picture. But I do feel like she gets dragged a lot.

And I haven't seen her do anything egregious. it's still shit from last year, which I think is very funny. And the majority of this season so far has been navigating things that happened in the first season. Georgia did a lot of things that were very questionable and got involved in things that she shouldn't have. The Amira thing is very funny, though, because we've talked about it now like four or five times just this season. Was Georgia flirting with Kevin or was she not? Are you actually okay with it? Was it a big deal or was it not?

And every time that Amir brings it up, she's like, I don't really fucking care. It's, you know, it just seems like water under the bridge. But then when we get down to it, it's like, I know, you can't sit next to her. No, no, no, no. I got to keep an eye on her. I don't trust her at all. It's like, okay, I understand trying to navigate that. Like, it's not a big deal.

We talked about it. It seems to be over. She understands where I'm coming from. But I'm going to keep an eye on it. But I think she's doing both. Amira's going to bouncing back and forth right now when it comes to Georgia. Again, just very trivial things that happen when you're, you know, in your early 20s. Exactly.

I'm just curious. because it seems like she's just trying to do the right thing and she keeps getting shit on for it. But when they get to the house of yes, Charlie arrives as well. And we get this conversation. Granted, we've also learned that Charlie is the one according to Georgia that is spreading this information about Amira being pissed off at Georgia, which is important for later. But Charlie shows up and you get this conversation between shy, Liam and Charlie. How was your date? oh yeah i heard you're trying to fuck are you like this gets so

heavy so quick and like leum's like whoa okay he's like well is that you're not trying to do that it's like actually just trying to get to know her like you took it to that point like this is what a dude talk according to him it's like what the fuck's going on why are dumb and dumb or pressing leum also for trying to be like look man just got to understand like hudson's or boy you're trying to fuck her it's like did you not spend a whole season last year and couple times this season talking about fucking Ariana. And allegedly hooked up with Ariana this season at some point. There's rumors that they hooked up.

Yep. And apparently it's going to play out in season two, which I really appreciate it. But yeah, this is such a funny meeting of the minds. It's brutal. But you have Liam, who seems to be a well-adjusted guy, you're in that young adult phase where you're like in your early to mid-20s. Some people still act like they're in college. Some people still act like they're in a frat.

And other guys are like, dude, what like this is not how things work anymore we don't talk like that but you apparently still do and then shy's got the fake tough guy like well i just you know we got to look up for here you see our perspective yeah yeah do you see our perspective like you guys don't know i appreciate the leum just kept doing the same thing he's like i just yeah i mean i don't know i want to get to know her but i don't want that to get in the way of knowing you guys and i think that's the right approach it's very funny too because that is the right adult approach but you're not talking to adults, you're talking to children,

you're talking to teenagers, whoever really grown up yet, their frontal lobe hasn't fully developed. So that's not going to work with that. That's going right over their head. They're like, ah, that's just smart guy talk for years. You're just trying to throw us out of here. You're throwing the smoke screen out there. We're not buying it. You're trying to fuck our girl's boy, our boy's

girl, whatever it is. Whatever. Whatever. One of those two. I even got lost somewhere in the sauce. I don't really know what's going on anymore. You guys want to drink? Like, that's where we are. That's exactly where we are. So it's really all about how Liam's going to handle it, because if he starts to get a little agro and he gets a little pissed off.

I wouldn't blame him. I don't think he's going to, though. I think he's just going to try to steer clear a little bit. Shy is the interesting one because you expect this kind of behavior from Charlie, but shy backing it up. Again, being friends with Hudson now out of nowhere, he was friends with Ariana first. He's got Hudson's back, but not talking to Ariana about it. He is really lost out there.

I think it's what you said. He's hanging with the cool kids. Charlie's, he's the bad boy. He's edgy. Hudson's rich. that's pretty much all he's got going for him. That's it. Yeah. But yeah, he's falling into this trap of like, well, I want to hang out these guys who

to act like these guys. It's like they don't have friends for a reason, shy, and you were kind of neutral. And now it's, I don't know, man, you kind of look like a fucking loser. So maybe pick a side. Maybe talk to your friend first. Maybe go to Ariana and say, hey, we've been tight for way longer than these other guys. What's going on? How can I help you?

Do you like Liam? okay great I'll fuck off then yeah I think he's just in that situation where he wasn't really close to anybody he kind of got brought into the friend group he was that guy who was on the outside walking into parties looking around like holy shit I've never been in a place like this but he never actually made the friendships he just kind of

did that maybe he was nervous or awkward or whatever it wasn't the first season and now he's going through the trials and tribulations of trying to be friends and picking the wrong people you could have just gotten closer now I get like maybe you don't want to just be friends with all the girls. Maybe you don't want to hang out with all the girls in Brooks. You see the guys and they're alluring and you want to hang out dudes. But they're not normal dudes. He probably should have taken the approach of like,

oh yeah, Liam seems like a cool, normal dude. Let me hang out with him a little bit. Instead, he went off the deep end and went the other way. But it's just a matter of will he learn? And right now,

I don't think so. I think it's going to take him a little bit more time just based off of the decisions that he's been making. But yeah, he'll get there eventually. Yeah, we'll see. I don't have a lot of high hopes for him, but he was entertaining to watch kind of fidget around. But, yeah, Ariana and Liam, they have a debrief about the whole situation again,

just kind of building up her frustration with shy. It's a lot more of that what this guy's supposed to be my friend. What the hell's going on? Like, I don't expect much more from Charlie. Here's my big thing with her. If it's true that her and Charlie hooked up, that's a really tough look. really tough look I don't care so much

about the Hudson of it all but the way that she talks about Charlie the little comment she makes like this I expect nothing less from him and then you go and boink like that you lose a lot of credibility I don't care if you guys point

not my business but the way that you talk about them and then potential boinking that occurs it's a tough look it's a little bit of a tough it's a tough look I mean Ariana, when her and Hudson broke up or whatever it is that they are, again, somebody, I think did leak that they are back together, but she had a really interesting year. I think she went

out on a date with West at one point. She was floating around different Bravo parties, trying to find a different guy, ended up hooking up with Charlie, it seems. Like, what an interesting year for Ariana. But I agree with you. I think when she goes to her confessionals and she just shits on Charlie the whole time. And we saw last week or the week prior. She's like, oh, maybe Charlie does have a heart. She's doing that little like, I don't know, I'm getting sucked in. And it's what everybody says. Georgia says of the most. It's the cult of Charlie. He's just a really charismatic guy. He makes you believe. He's very charming, but he does this thing where he's like, I always tell the truth. And I'm going to stand my

ground and just tell you guys what I think. And I guess for some people that works. And I think it probably worked on Ariana at some point. We shall see how that one plays out. I'm actually really curious. But we get to this after party and Charlie is wearing a bulletproof vest, which of course he is. It's not surprising at all. I think that Brooks is being the cool guy was like, you know, a Rocky Mountain horror shop or whatever. I'm like, I think you know what's called. I think you know exactly what it's called. But we get to meet Rowan's boyfriend. They've been dating for like four years. So sorry, shy. She is taken. Which you could tell he's a little bummed out about that. Yeah, definitely. That's when we get some more Hudson.

updates with the clip of fresh off a heartbreak with the fucking picture in that fancy car. Ava is still with hook, but she has an inkling. She's got a little shit feeling that hook is up to something. So we're going to see what that's all about. What I don't need is this. We don't age shame. That's not our business here. And I won't age shame about Kyle and Ava.

I do not need a in the city summer house next gen crossover. Nah, no, not at all. No, there's something to be said about people staying on the show that they're on and only getting to see them a few months out of the year. We don't need to see Poppins. Poppins are fine. We don't need to see a big crossover. We don't need to see the whole next gen cast going to Summerhouse for like three episodes

or Kyle hooking up with Ava and Ava being around. I don't need to see that. Yeah, it's already enough that we probably have to do with Sally Carson at some point on Summerhouse, which is annoying enough. but this this would be too much this is oversaturation they i want to be able to look back and say wow that was a really good season i can't wait for the next season not oh i wonder what they're up to oh they're in the hamptons that's like no i don't want to do it yeah i'm good i'm good you know they can do what they want they're both adults i just don't i don't know i don't know i think it's because of the

we're watching next gen and it's so framed as like you know brand new adults in the city, 20 to 25 year olds trying to figure it out. Then when you hear that one of them is hooking up with Kyle Cook, who is 40 something. Yeah. It just, I don't know. Again, I don't age shame. Like people do what you want to do. I just, it's, do you go, am I crazy?

Like, you know what I'm saying? No, I, I get what you're saying. It has, honestly, it has nothing to do with Kyle slash Ava and everything to do with, like, tainting the product. I guess so. I don't want the influence of other people on Summerhouse getting involved into NextGen and then disrupting the flow that we have. Because it is a really good flow and they're all friends. But I really don't want to have to deal with two or three episodes of Next Gen next year and an episode or two of Summerhouse where we're talking about Ava and Kyle hooking up.

It's just I don't care. They go hook up and then like don't broadcast it. Yeah. Like for example, if someone, if news broke that Kyle hooked up with a 25, you're like, oh, whatever. I think it's because we watch next gen. News has broke. So young. Yeah, I know.

News has broken that Kyle September of 25. Right. But that, I think it's because of the structure of this show makes it seem like they're so young. Then you hear about that. I'm like, yeah, that's weird. But anyway, enough about that. We have a fortune teller, which I know you're excited about. Always.

This is a gimmick. So I'm happy about this one. The more Charlie talks, though, about certain things, the more I'm like, there's some shooter in there. There's a, shooter in there. We're going to do it this episode? Like I've dealt with a lot of psychics throwing at me. You know,

it's just the whole world triggers me. You know what? It's all nonsense. It's all bullshit. I don't know for it. Just when he talks about certain topics, I'm like, there's a little shooter there.

Yeah. Yeah. I mean, look, I, that's how I feel about it. But again, I think in a setting of a party,

if there's a second in there and it's Halloween, I would lean into that one. It's when, you know, if I would, was on one of these shows and it was like a cast thing. Oh, we're all going to go over to so-and-so's house and then the psychics going to come over and tell us all about our lives.

Like, no, count me out. Fair enough. But anyway, Brooks is trying to build up the courage to go talk to Charlie, which I'm okay with. Like, I need some movement there, whether they don't talk in the future or not, but like the awkward limbo that we're in, maybe primarily because I just need more from Brooks. I don't know what he does rather than bring up his dad, bring up his mom.

He doesn't really do anything else. And he does sit in the back. He sits on the side and he does giggle at things. And yeah, Charlie's a piece of shit. But every single time he walks in a room, you get this awkward kind of, and that's his big issue with the whole entire situation. So he's tried to figure it out.

Before we really get into that, you have this interaction between Liam and Kendall. I have seen these two together for collectively 30 seconds. She loves that guy, right? Yeah, absolutely. Head over heels. Yeah, it has the whole wedding planned out and everything. Yeah, that's the vibe that I get.

And he's like talking to her about, you know, the shy stuff and the Ariana stuff. I'm like, she probably doesn't want to hear this stuff, but she's a good friend or she's sitting there like gritting and bearing it. She doesn't want to hear it, but I think she's happy to be involved because she might be able to manipulate the situation back to her at some point. Like, you know, maybe that's not the girl for you. It sounds a little messy. you need somebody who's not going to have any personality and not going to talk at a party. That's what you need.

We don't even know her yet. That's what everybody was saying about her, though. I know, unfortunately. But Charlie and Shai have a confessional together. And this, I even wrote it down, Charlie is the cool kid according to Shai because this scene really shows you why Shai is stepping in shit right now. Because the way, like, Charlie says something,

Shire's like, yeah, yeah. That's my guy. Yeah. You don't follow this dude shy. You half expect like a pound across the confessional table. Exactly. I see what you did there. Yeah, but setting up very nicely for a big comeuppance at some point.

I think Arianna might be the one behind that. Like, hey, dickhead. But then again, credibility gets questioned because you're going to talk shit about Charlie, too shy. But then you might point, Charlie. That one, I'm like, you know. invested. I'm really invested in that one. Yeah. But Brooks finally works up the courage to go over and talk to Charlie. And he's like, look, I want a really chill convo. I don't want to get contentious. And like, we haven't talked much. We drifted apart. Blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah.

We know last year that Charlie had this whole thing with Seth and it was like super disrespectful. So that's obviously part of this whole thing. That's the driving force behind this whole thing. The rest is it seems that Charlie just irritates. Brooks a lot. But they're trying to figure out a way to move forward. And I understand Charlie's frustrations. Like that would be irritating. And yes, there's an elephant in the room, but clearly you can't talk about this elephant.

So to make this, he says it pretty well, I thought. You're making an uncomfortable situation more uncomfortable every time it's already uncomfortable. Like, you have to make it worse by giggling and saying things under your breath. We've drifted apart, this, that, the other. You're saying disparaging things. about my dad. Fuck your dad.

He's the least respectable dad on earth. He's a house husband. He should be embarrassed. The read of Seth was fucking hilarious. I'm sorry. Charlie and Seth have obviously gone back and forth. And then also throwing in Georgia into the mix who reads and listens to all of Seth's inspirational quotes on Instagram.

It's just such a funny look. It's just such a funny situation. You can't help but laugh. I mean, in the middle of that, like the fuck you're, dad was such a funny little thing that definitely happens when dudes are arguing where it's like i'm not talking about your dad right now fuck your dad like it's such a non-issue but brooks made it the worst thing oh really that's where we're going and you make it more like if you just let it go he wouldn't say anything more about your dad but he's got more to say about your dad which again is just

genuinely funny like it's not something to take offense to coming from a guy like charlie he's going to take it back i mean he goes to his confession he's like yeah maybe i did go a little far on that one. If Charlie's sitting down in a confessional saying I went a little too far, he did. And he actually means that he went a little too far and he would probably take it back and he could. But in the heat of the moment, it was so funny to just like have that little reprieve where they're going back and forth.

You don't really know what Brooks is going to do. Brooks's M.O. has been to like run away from a situation. Like, all right, I'm done. I thought he was going to do it again. Instead he comes back and he sees it through. So I'm going to give him credit for that. This is the most Brooks has done all season.

And I think there is something to be said about a lost friendship in there. And I think they're both kind of. wrestling with the idea i think that brooks realizes like hey yeah i don't think this friendship's ever going to be the same again whereas charlie is probably imagining a world in which we all get back to normal like all right ebbs and flows of normal friendships this happens to a guy like me all the time it's because you say the wrong thing and you turn people off and you look like an asshole when you say things to people yeah maybe they do come back to you because you're charming but brooks probably won't and brooks is dealing with that so i thought this was good i thought that this was actually a good conversation that the

two of those could have, two of those people could have, because it does bring us back to at least something that we talk about all the time, just be able to fucking film. Like, it's a TV show. We've been talking about Charlie all season where we have these weird scenes. He's only filming with Hudson. He's only filming with Shy and the boys and playing pool. And then we go to his confessional.

It's like, okay. And then Amir is his friend. It's like, all right, everybody else needs to get involved at some point. And Ava did a really good job too because she kind of held it. Like, all right, this is what we're going to do. We're going to see this through. Do you understand where he's coming? All right, cool.

We get that. That's enough. Sometimes you just need a mediator and it's going to work out. Georgia pissed that Ava got involved. I thought we were putting up a same front against Charlie. What do you do and getting involved? It's life. This is what happens.

You're not going to hold it against them forever. Yeah, but she's going to take matters into her own hands, which I appreciate from a show stand. Georgia is? Yeah. Yeah. I don't know. This one might not be. Oh, I had no issue.

He'll figure it out. He'll figure that out. You might not figure out how to make friends, but he'll figure that out. But shy kind of gets cornered. Not really cornered. It's just kind of a, we need to talk about how you've been moving, pal,

because Ariana sits down with shy and Liam. And Liam. him went over there. I was like, hey, no bad blood, right? He's like,

well, why would, why would there be? Because you guys put on a fake tough guy routine about 20 minutes ago. You don't remember that. No, I just, you know,

I felt guilty because I set the meet up. Like, that was, that was on me. It's like, yeah, okay. But again,

you're friends with Ariana first. So why would you not think to do that and not get involved? Not tell Hudson, definitely not tell Charlie or team up with Charlie. And I love that Ariana just goes, look, I was going to hang out with, with Liam no matter what. So tough shit. Yeah. And we jump around a lot, but we'll keep it to the shy Ariana thing for now because then we'll get to Charlie and Amira and all that stuff.

But Ariana points out, again, she's coming from the place of you're supposed to be my friend. I don't want to talk about my ex-boyfriend all the time. And then shy gets fumbled. He's like, well, I just told him. I'm like told Liam, you're stepping and glue a little bit. I like that Liam is now getting into it. He's like, not really, though, because that's dried glue. They are exes now.

Why are, why shy is getting involved is 100% a combination of everything we've discussed. He thinks he's part of the cool kids now. And he thinks he's like one of the dudes. And this is what dudes do for each other. We back each other up. I'm backing up Charlie and Hudson because they're my. boys, even though Ariana and I were friends first. It's not working out because now he's isolating himself from multiple sides of the group.

Because by siding with Ariana and talking to her, he's going to piss off Hudson and Charlie. But the funny thing is, where he's coming from, I don't think is a bad place. I think he's just trying to support everybody. Like I said in the beginning, that's going to fall apart. It's definitely going to fall apart. I think what he's doing as a guy who's still trying to get into the friend group, he sees other people get involved like this. He sees other people who are really good friends with everybody else.

Like, wait a minute, they can sit down, not even just Charlie, but Ava can sit down, Riley can sit down, Brooks can sit down, and say whatever he wants or speak his mind on a situation and really voice his opinion. Why can't I? What the hell? And it's because he never really made those friendships that the other people that I just listed have. So I think he sees that and he's like, oh, shit. All right, yeah, maybe not.

And he just kind of jumped the gun a little bit, whereas he was still just being that nice guy where he was becoming friends with everybody. But he wasn't having those like deep rooted friendships where he can actually voice his opinion. And he's not a dick like Charlie is where he just voices his opinion no matter what. So he doesn't understand any of this. And you can tell right away where he's talking to Liam, he's talking to everybody else about the situation. And Ariana is over there before she even sits down. He gave her a look and goes, yeah, we're talking about you. It's like not how you think this is going to go, pal.

This isn't like the funny. Yeah, we're all talking about this situation that you and Liam are involved in. You have the wrong take on it, but also you shouldn't really be speaking on it. And I think Ariana does a pretty good point. Like, hey, we were friends first. No point did you come to me and say, hey, yeah, I don't know how this is really going to work out. If you and Liam are kind of talking and then Hudson's going to come back into the mix and I spend a lot of time with him. what do you want me to do?

And I think that if he had done that, which is what the girls that he was sitting down with earlier in the episode, told him to do, reach out to Ariana or just stay away. Like, it might not even be time to do that yet. Just let it fucking play out. We're all sitting at home like, dude, you shouldn't even be involved.

Just let it play out. If Hudson has a problem with you not speaking up, just be like, dude, I didn't even know they were really talking like that. I have no idea what you're talking about. Oriana's my friend. Yeah, it would go away. Like, you don't even have to pick sides. You could just claim that you had no idea what was going on.

it would be very easy to get away with, but I think he jumped the gun in the sense, like I see other people doing this. I want to get involved. This is what you guys all do. Everybody does this. What do you mean? Why am I now getting singled out?

It's like, yeah, you're going about it the way wrong way for who you are as a character versus everybody else that we just listed earlier. So that's very funny. But yeah, Ariana's not taking any shit from any of that.

Well, then I'm not going to fucking tell you anything. Like you're out. That's a good point. That's a really good point. I agree with all of that. I think that with the Georgia stuff, to put Liam and

shy on the back burner because Amir is now talking to Georgia while this is all going on as well. Georgia did find out confirmation that Charlie is the one that told Georgia what was going on. I think she holds Charlie in a separate place to give him passes

because the way that she reacted was not how I thought she'd react. She's like, I'm not really that matter. I'm like, okay. So we just like Charlie can get away with murder. Charlie could not because Amira's talking to Georgia. And George is like, well, I just want to let you know. And this is Georgia taking matters into her own hands where it's like, okay, well, my plan with Ava didn't work. So I have this one in the back pocket, break glass case of emergency, a breaking glass.

And she tells Amira that behind closed doors Charlie talks shit in regards to Kevin and says, that's not even the case. because Kevin is a gay man and said it multiple times in regards to him dating Amira. Okay? Which obviously is a fucked thing to say. And Amira does not take it. Well, nor should she. I completely understand her getting really pissed off about this. And we've heard about this other side of Amira that we have not really seen.

We just heard like you don't fuck with her. Like she's the nicest person ever until you cross her. And then you don't want to cross her. I think we saw the beginning of that because she goes, rips the mic off, take this mic off me, I'm fucking out of here, goes scorched earth about Charlie.

She went from forgiving him about talking shit, like spreading information to, oh, fuck you, to his face. I'm not friends with you anymore and walks out. I love the conviction. I love the fact that it's like,

all right, you fucking burn me. I'm done. I'm out of here. Go fuck yourself. Kevin, we're getting out of here. Then you go outside,

her, Brooks and Kevin. Kevin have a little bit of a discussion. Kevin's like, I want to fight him in like a ring. Like box him. And then not for anybody. He says it right to the camera, which I really appreciate it. I actually love that part of it.

Look, can we see Charlie saying that? Thousand percent. Thousand percent. Yes. This was the culmination of Georgia being very frustrated. And we saw it in all of her confessionals. We saw it how she was acting all season. She doesn't get it.

Why are people giving Charlie a pass? Why are people giving Charlie a pass? pass. And I think this was the last thing. Once she finds out, she's like, all right, yeah, you know what? I'm going to tie it back to Charlie that I found out from Charlie that Amir was mad at me because I was quote unquote flirting with Kevin. See how that goes. Maybe that'll be enough to at least get Amir to look at Charlie a little differently.

Maybe if she won't give him a pass, maybe he'll get a talk into. And at least then I can see, all right, we're holding him to some sort of standard. That didn't work. Here's the nuclear bomb. Let me throw that one out there. we don't know necessarily if he said it we're going to see all the conversations that play out obviously amir like going ballistic and leaving warranted go ahead get all pissed off she's going to sit down with them as we already see i don't know how that conversation is going to go it might go similar

to what we just watched earlier in the in the episode where he's just cops to it like you know what maybe i did say that maybe i was pissed to you maybe i said that it's not a pass but you have to see how amir is going to operate from here on now this is no longer going to be a Charlie versus everybody. This is going to be like, all right, let's see how this goes. We're going to put Charlie in a different box. Okay, he can work his way back. It's going to all depend on how Amir is going to react to all of this

and how she's going to be able to sit down and talk to him about it. Or he's just going to deny, deny, deny, and say that George is a complete liar, which I think is probably going to happen. I think that's a little bit more realistic because that's what he already started off trying to do. The problem for me is more from the show standpoint. Everybody's going to just run with this. This is going to be like Charlie's going to have to leave the show. If it's true or not, we might never get confirmation, but he's going to have to leave

the show because other people aren't going to film with him. If you said something like this to Amira, Amira's telling everybody Brooks is going to run with it because he's going to be like, yeah, I don't fuck with him. I didn't fuck with him. I didn't trust him. George is going to be able to get off Scott free from everything. And we're just going to have to move on without Charlie, which you need somebody like Charlie.

So I need some sort of semblance of like a conversation or some sort of proof that he didn't say it. I don't know what we're going to get. I doubt it's going to go that route. I'm just worried moving forward with the rest of the show. Yeah, I think that the one thing is he survived for now, the torture crypto house. Yeah. So, and look, I think given the boot for this, like I get it, I'm not going to sit here and lobby for Charlie's job.

It's a fucked up thing to say. And he doesn't help himself when he's talking to, I think, Ava. And he's like, look, you know what I feel about certain things, but I don't say. it. I was like, whoa. So that paints a very vivid picture of exactly how you feel about things. And no, I don't think we need to platform that at all. I think it's contingent entirely on the conversation he has with Amira. Yeah. I think she seems to be the driving force behind this show. I get it. She's very

captivating. She's very good at her job. So I think if she moves on from it, I would imagine. in the rest of the cast. They seem to follow her lead. Yeah. So I think a lot of it's going to depend on that conversation. I now in a world in which Amira and Charlie sit down and they seemingly get through it or Amira believes him and he says that he never said anything like that.

He says, you know, I said a multitude of other things when I was mad at you, but I never would say that. She somehow believes him. They move forward. George is going to have a fucking meltdown. George is going to be, she's going to be inconsolable. I think that's exactly how. it's going to play out because again, if there's no proof that he's not putting it in writing,

they're never going to be able to prove it. Again, we started off by saying like a thousand percent, I believe that he could say it. I'm not going to say he definitely said it because I know Georgia has ulterior motives. She's going to throw him out to the bus for a lot of things. She wants him to get his penance, all of these things. We'll see how it all plays out, but in my brain, that's how it's going to play out. I agree. I think that George was going to be left on an island somehow. Mm-hmm. And it comes back to this like, there's just something about Georgia that pisses people off. And I don't know.

Yeah, there's something about Georgia, that old movie. But let's see what the listeners have to say. From Stacey Moss Seals, a two-parter. One, I believe Charlie said those things, but Georgia clearly said it to hurt Amira. How should Georgia have told Amira, if at all? Yeah, I mean, it, the setting, I don't know if the setting necessarily matters.

Obviously, you want to do it in a better setting than that just because you're pissed off at Charlie. But again, it's, I don't know if it's going to be provable that he definitely said. It's going to be your word against his word. And we know how that goes, especially in this group. That was the funniest part as the after show. I was doing some stuff in the back room. The after show played while I was, or right after I watched the show. And Amira seemed more pissed off in the after show.

that Georgia brought it up when she did. Then she did. Yeah. Yeah. So I think again, we see a glimpse into how this is going to go. As far as like, I think that Georgia said that not necessarily to hurt Amira, but to like, I think it was two birds with one stone. Like, all right, no one believes me.

No one's listening to me. Everyone else gets a pass except for me. Well, you're giving this guy a pass and this is actually what he's been doing behind your back. Yeah. I do think it was a little jab at Amira because she was pissing off Georgia too. but I think it was more, if anything, kind of a Hail Mary to try to get in Amir's good graces. Again, I think everyone in this group wants to be Amir's best friend.

I think everybody looks to Amir and looks up to Amir. So I think that a big part of was Georgia like, maybe if I take Charlie out of the picture and tell her what Charlie's really been saying, like she'll want to be best friends with me. Yeah. Yeah, and that's brutal. If she's coming out of from that angle, that's just tough. I mean,

Agreed. But I just be like, hey, I respect Amira and I want to make sure that she knows who she's hanging out with. It would probably be the best way to go about that. But this is funny. This is two-parters from Casey Danzig. I live two blocks away from House of Yes. It's literally 30 minutes Manhattan and it's in a trendy popular area. Idiots.

Part two. How do all these queer people not know about Rocky Horror? Again, idiots. This show is exhausting. Yeah, I mean, well said. I mean, I get it. Yeah, and we laugh at it, but I mean, if you're, if you think they're idiots, then go for it. Yeah.

Frustrating that Riley is getting way more hate for being drunk and acting foolish and entitled than Charlie's getting for being transphobic and also being involved in torturing a man, allegedly potentially. Yeah. I don't, listen, I, I don't. I don't believe that Riley should really be getting shit at all for being drunk. I mean, it was funny. I thought it was very funny. I mean, she didn't do anything bad. She asked if anybody could afford a Birken, which we made fun of her for because she could only afford a Birken because of her mom.

But aside from that, I mean, she didn't do anything to Georgia. She lightly threatened something. Like, who gives a fuck? Is she entitled? Yes. Is she annoying? Yes. Is she 22 years old on a TV show with endless money and probably hasn't been checked a lot

in her life? Yes. So yeah, let's give her a break. Oh, yes. Yeah. There's no reason to be doubling down on a talking shit about a 22 year old on TV. That's crazy. No. I love this question. Should, uh, from savor this, should Seth just join the cast and replace Brooks at this point? Yeah. No, no. I can't do it. No. Uh, let's see. Oh, yeah, Carrie DeFalise, this episode was giving OGVPR with Charlie playing the role of Jacks. Yeah, honestly, that's a, that's actually pretty funny. Yeah. Yeah. Let's end it on this one from a chatto potato chatto potato. Do you think

the Charlie is needed? Do you think that Charlie is needed? They obviously want to ice him out, but he's the perfect villain. That's what we are in. That's the dilemma. Now again, I think it's going to play out exactly how we're hypothesizing. Yeah. I do obviously if there's some shit that comes out and it's very substantiated and there's evidence that he did even this or anything with the crypto thing. you just have to get him off the show. If you can't substantiate it, you just have to keep him on. There's no other really,

no other way to go about it. Because I do think he is the perfect villain for a show like this. I agree because he's charming. He's able to pull people back in despite the fact that they talk mad shit on him. So like, he fits the mold extremely well. As you said, if he's out here being blatantly transphobic and involved in a torture house,

like, please get him off the show. But I think that, again, assuming that we're not going to get some stancheted evidence, because I don't think we will, unless we have like a video of it or somebody pulls something out of the archives, I think it's going to be based largely on how a mirror takes it.

I think if she's able to move forward with them, the show will try to move forward with them unless something comes out that's like skating. But yeah, I think we have to wait and see how that conversation goes before. And, like, I, again, if we find out that that is true and there's, like, clear evidence, yeah, getting the fuck out of here. Yeah, for sure. But, yeah, I mean, it's a good show, man.
