Corey Kiefer, from his brief stint on Summer House might be making his debut on Southern Charm as a friend of. I think we speak for most when we say we dont need anymore of those types of dudes on Southern Charm... Why dont we give the ladies the spotlight for a season instead of immature f-boys? Love island makes its return soon and the bros are geared up to dive in head first. Last but certainly not least, Jasmine from the Valley is getting a lot of heat from social media about Danny. Apparently people think she's using him for a story line because HE was creepy and grabbed both Jasmine and her girlfriend. Make that make sense. People are weird. Team Jasmine all the way. We still haven't come up with a news theme song.
Bro's News Network.
I don't know if we want to push it.
We still get a lot of people complaining about the opening song for our actual show.
We do another one.
I feel like they're just going to think that we're just doing a bit at this point.
The show's not even real.
This is just a way for us to mess with you guys.
Yeah.
Bros and shows
Bros and shows
I gotta have me
and my Bros and Shores
Good afternoon
everybody
Welcome back to another news
episode of Bros and Shows
I'm your co-host
Steel Russell
joined as always
by Action Magoutes
on the scene
What's up dude
There we go
That's good
That feels right
Something about that
It speaks to my heart
You know
But you have a mustache
So you pretty much
Are a news anchor
About as close
I'm gonna get
That's for sure
It's definitely about as close as I'm going to get to being a real journalist, you know?
Well, hey, we've been called journalists in the past, not by ourselves.
I mean, we've called ourselves that, but other people have called us that, too.
I've seen it a couple times.
But the funniest thing, somebody said that we should do the news recaps dressed as Ron Burgundy.
And I kind of like that idea at some point.
Yes.
Give me about, what is it, it's May, give me about five months because I do not want to wear that kind of get up.
in this heat that we're going to begin that's fair that's a reasonable thing but we're here to discuss
what's been going on in the world of reality tv bravo hulu has entered the building they're starting
to build up their repertoire and uh peacock i guess are our big three with netflix trailing behind
they're trying to get into the game they have some shows that i think look intriguing but i'm not
going to waste time on that right now they always do right they always have like a new show that comes out
and you'll see like a trailer for something else
that I was already watching.
It's like, oh, that's coming back.
That's cool.
And then I never hear about it again until it just shows up in my library one day.
It's like, oh, yeah.
All right.
Did you see sneaky links?
Saw sneaky links.
That one intrigues me.
It's not out yet, though, right?
No, it's in our screeners, but it's intriguing.
It's like your side piece is in a hoat.
It's like a Love Island deal, but it's all like side pieces,
but you have to like actually hang out with them.
It's not just like a booty call.
That one looks intriguing.
When have we gone too far with these?
Because I feel like they're really, really pushing the envelope with all of this.
Like, yes, Love Island, fantastic.
Temptation Island, all right, we're just actively breaking people up.
But you know what?
It's for the greater good because these people are going to break up anyway.
These dudes are assholes.
They're going to cheat anyway.
So let's just set them up right now.
Now we're going to do that.
You know what it brings me back to?
What was that?
Was it Cougar Island?
Oh, yeah.
Cougar Island was a thing.
Yeah, that was problematic.
Cougar Town.
No, Cougar town was a TV show.
Cougar town was a scripted TV show.
Yeah, that's a TV show.
That's okay.
I think that's Courtney Cox was in that.
I don't know why I know that.
I got an idea that's kind of fucked up,
but if we're going to play this game of what's the line,
coming soon,
is it your cousin?
A bunch of second cousins in a house
and you don't know if you're related or not until the end of the show.
That's not where I thought you were going to go.
That might be worse.
Yeah, that's definitely worse.
I was thinking of the line.
either like a step parent or a step sibling.
Oh, is it your cousin is better?
Mine sounds better than yours.
Your sounds like a bad search history.
Yeah, it would probably get a lot of attention online, that's for sure.
But yeah, I don't know.
I guess coming soon, Netflix finds the line.
Yeah, that's the name of the show.
What's Too Far?
How do we go too far?
Coming soon to Netflix.
And each episode's a new dating show.
where they just push the envelope of what's okay until finally there's outrage and it's like oh
that's the line okay they film it live you know that uh there's an episode of uh like the making
of south park and that was like pretty crazy because they pretty much do it like right up until
release they procrastinate actually doing that and what they're doing is they throw out something
pretty crazy for episode one they see what people are talking about on twitter and then they
actively film it that day and put it out that night with no energy i like that's what they
It's got to get really bad.
That's the line.
You're the producer.
It's like a choose-your-own adventure, but reality TV.
Wait a minute.
We're going to trust Twitter people?
Ugh.
Oh, no.
Yeah, you're going to have to vet that pretty hard.
Yeah.
Here's the catch.
Threads too tends to be a little gentler.
Maybe it's a Threads show.
It could be a Threads show.
I was going to say the caveat is you actually have to be yourself on your profile.
You can't have any fake profiles that we're not taking any
recommendations. Yeah, that's how you fix
social media, by the way. You want all these
assholes to stop barking. If you
sign up for social media, you have to show
your ID and use your actual
birth name. And then all these trolls would shut the fuck out.
Which ID? Your real idea or your
idea? Oh, yeah. Now you've got a
fucking real idea with a star on it. Jesus.
Here we go. Here we go. No,
I think that would solve a lot of problems. People wouldn't
talk so much shit behind their keyboards if you
actually had to show your face.
Really good point.
But, uh, all right.
I think we need to get into the new.
news now that we've created we've created like 10 reality shows in in about two minutes though so you're welcome that's listening we're gonna forget about these instantly we will move on to the next thing exactly and now everybody who has access to our spotify library because you know we're not that self-indulgent we don't go back and listen to our episodes especially now we've got an editor steel doesn't have to listen to us too much so yeah we're going to forget about all of this our listeners can steal the ideas it'll pop up on netflix and we'll be like huh
that looks familiar thought like that at some point huh no all right yeah probably not and then i'll
just move on with my day but let's get into some news topics you've got the docket for us today
if only we had a way to like have these on the screen yeah right wouldn't that be nice i don't know
there's a thought we'll see but why don't you read off our first topic let's jump in let's jump right
into this one and uh a certain west coast star what if i revealed these like blind i don't
You just read Doomwob blind items the whole time.
Well, I, I, this is another side now, and then I'm done.
But I do love the blind items when it comes from like, you get them at the end of like the Super Bowl.
And it's like, this permanent A-lister was spotted doing this in a bathroom somewhere.
And it's like, oh, I wonder who that could be.
And it's very clearly who it is.
And I watched it for the MetGal.
I was actually pretty entertaining today.
Anyway, uh, starting off here, Sheena, Sheener is writing a tell all book.
that is how she is going to keep relevant.
It is not going to be her random cameos on the Valley because we don't want that, really.
So she's going to be writing a tell-all book.
And we did hear Andy had said to Lisa Vanderpump, I think that was on Wednesday or Thursday night when she was on Watch What Happens Live, that she doesn't have very nice things to say about Lisa, which is very interesting.
But the old bite to hand the feed to you.
Yeah, it's a bold move gotten.
Well, it's a bold move indeed.
And I, you know, obviously there's going to be some dirt in there that you can use.
You spend a lot of time around Lisa.
You spent a lot of time at Sir.
My thing with this, first of all, the Sheena Shea Tell All.
Okay, fine.
I'm like remotely intrigued by it.
I just want to see what her tell all looks like.
Like, what does, here's why.
Not so much what's in there.
It's more like I get a glimpse into what the perspective of Sheen or Shea is like.
that's interesting how do you think it's written so i imagine in my brain she's just got a notes she yeah
a thousand percent of ghost writer i mean show me a bravo person that doesn't have a ghostwriter for
their books how many bravo books are out there by the way bethany's got like three or four
yeah uh heather is working on her third i believe uh yeah but she is a bestseller and i think
i think that heather is too i don't want to yeah i don't want to take away from it what the
fuck is a bestseller what qualifies anymore because i don't know a bestseller do we have to look
this one up i know specific i know the phrase bestseller i understand that and i think it's from
the new york times isn't it usually when somebody says a bestseller it's the new york times
bestseller what qualifies a book for bestseller a book is generally considered a bestseller
if it appears on a prominent bestseller list uh-huh yep yep this is exactly what i'm
here you go here you go well a precise number of sales isn't set books typically need to
to sell between 5,000 and 10,000 copies in a week to be considered a major bestseller.
There you go.
That seems very low.
I don't think so.
I mean, think about how many books there are.
I know, but like in the world?
No, because not every, no, because like American writer is not going to do a worldwide
release if they haven't written a book before.
It's going to be more localized.
And then if it does well, they're going to up production.
We'll keep it on brand.
I don't know why you're, you're arguing with this one.
You should be on my team for this one.
Why?
So Sheena releases this self-book about all the things that happened to Vanderpump and all the things that are going on in her life.
Yeah.
5,000 people buy it or rather 5,000 copies are sold and Sheena gets to say I'm a bestseller.
5,000 in a week.
I understand that in the first week that she releases it.
I mean, there's Bravo people out there.
By the way, I'm going to at some point probably put like a shelf back here because there are
many Bravo books, and I'm just going to have them all up there.
Because it's a great backdrop.
Guess who's not going to read one of those books?
This guy right here.
Either of us.
Yeah, you're kidding?
I can't read.
But, yeah, so Sheena sells 5,000 the first week that she releases it because Bravo fans are
going to dig into it.
Obviously, you know, there's friends of family and everything along those lines.
She then gets to call herself a bestselling author.
If she qualifies by the stipulations, yes.
Well, you don't make the rules.
Well, I'm saying there's, 10,000 in a week.
be higher. It should be higher.
I feel like.
Actually, it shouldn't even be sales in a week.
It should be like gross sales in a year.
Gross sales in a year.
Yeah, gross sales in a year probably makes more sense because a book like that that
that Sheena is going to write.
And I love that.
I'm just circling right back to Sheena every single time.
She's the example.
A book like that is everybody's going to forget about it in a couple of weeks, right?
So show me what those.
Here's my argument against it.
Like, I do see what you're saying.
And for bestseller status, if it was a more elite club, then maybe.
Maybe there's like a different label you get.
I don't really know the rules.
I know it's five to 10,000 according to Google.
If you, yeah, sure.
My point is, my point, yeah, my point with the bestseller thing.
Okay, let's say Sheener hits those numbies, all right?
She starts selling it.
I think the whole reason that book numbers are lower is because you have so many authors out
there.
And if you get some rando that writes a hit, you need to give them credit because most
book sales don't do that well.
I don't think.
So if Sheena does sell tens of thousands of copies, yeah, you get to label her a bestseller
because there's something in that book or the character that wrote it that's captivating
enough to say bestseller.
And I do think this, well, yeah, I call these people characters.
But like, I do think this, like, there's something to a Vanderpump tell all, whether it's
about Lisa, whether it's about your time on the show.
This was such a polarizing show for so long.
I'm actually curious as to what everyone's perspective is.
Because again, it's like an interesting glimpse into how she saw certain things.
And as we know with Sheena, she has a different perspective than you and I and most people.
So to see what her journey was on VPR is interesting.
Now, what I do believe to be 100% true and the reason for writing this and then saying on her podcast, Sheenernernanagan's, shernanagan's.
shernanagan's shernanigans she's just using lisa and her name once again to get more
famous that's all she's doing this is no different than her being on the show it's no different
than her clawing for attention now that she's off the show it's the same reason that she moved to
the valley to try to get onto the valley she's using lvp to get more press so she hasn't changed
anything and unfortunately it's going to work but this is just piggybacking on coattails
which is arguably what she's done this whole time so now she's doing it again
to go on her podcast and bring this up is 100% in attention grabs so that she can sell more
coffee because now everyone's going, ooh, what did you say about Lisa?
And bet me, bet me because in real life she's scared of Lisa, it's going to be one excerpt
about like a negative interaction that she had with Lisa after leaving the show.
She hasn't called me, something like that.
It's going to be innocuous and you're going to buy the book to get to that part and it's
going to be the last page and it's going to be nothing.
Yeah, pretty much.
I do wonder how many other, because you do make a good point.
because of all of the, the ongoings of VPR over the years.
Right.
We would like to get a peek behind the curtain.
We would like to see, you know, something behind the scenes for a little bit.
And, you know, if it's in the way of somebody's words, fine.
I wonder how many other people that have been in the show over the years have wanted to do this,
but just couldn't either get the funding to do it, couldn't find the right ghost writer,
or weren't getting backed by Bravo or weren't getting backed by something else or whatever it may have been.
Because I can see, like, Sandoval for sure.
Jack's probably tried to float this idea a million times.
Lala has probably floated this idea a million times.
So the fact that it's Sheena and Sheena is going to be the first one to do it is very interesting
to me because I feel like it's taken, I would have imagined that this would have happened
already.
This would have been in the works like last year.
So I guess she's just the first to announce.
Probably and I think that a lot of the ex-VPR cast members are now currently like
what's next for me and we're trying to figure things out.
It's like, oh, I'll write a book.
I'm sure they all have like first drafts of books or like notes that they do.
take into write books but like with sheena it's interesting because you can start it out i would
love to get her perspective of how she came onto this show because the transition in episode
one season one is literally sheena as a waitress serving brandy glanville who she had sex with brandy's
husband so like i would love to like it's a great hook you know what i mean you started with that
where it's like here's sheena's perspective of being thrown into reality tv and her first
interaction with somebody is the woman who whose husband cheated on her with sheena like that's
interesting so i do want to read that there are things there like throughout this whole show
from whoever's perspective you wanted to be if they were smart they would get together and like
three of them write a massive book about their journey on the show but i think it's so funny
that you know this is similar to me as like a bethany frankl suddenly flipping the script on bravo
and coming back out and being like you know the reality reckoning and all that
all she is doing is using her fame to go after somebody else on Bravo while still vying for
attention on another show on Bravo.
So that part misses the mark for me.
It's like, this is still the same shit you've always done here, is doing it again.
I have a great idea, by the way.
And I don't know, I'm going to put your English degree.
Did you get an English degree?
Did it end up not big?
I have three semesters left to get my English degree.
Guess what?
I'm never, ever going back.
I was going to say, I'm going to put that.
Well, I guess you didn't really have like a degree in literature or anything.
But anyway, I'm not really sure with this.
is called i want to call it an anthology but i don't think it is there is a word for uh we can have a
series of books each book has the same events in it but it's from different perspectives oh sheena starts
it off then next year we're going to have jacks is going to write a book it's going to be all of the
same things but it's from his perspective and we're just going to get a good series going like that
i want something like that and i would be cool with that i'm not going to read it i i would be cool
with the idea overarching idea of it definitely not going to read it we'll just you know have somebody
on tic-tok do it for me how about this if you work for audible and you'd like to sponsor us we'll listen
to it yeah we can for sure i spend it up time in the car yeah and then we'll do an audible ad read so
audible we're waiting we're just going to sit here and wait until you guys sponsor us
well we'll have to uh keep an eye on that i'm sure there's going to be more excerpts there's going to be more
discussions again not going to listen to shenanigans but uh i'm sure she's going to talk a lot more
about this or it's just going to you know it'll come out like that's the thing the people
clip it people put things out there as we get closer to the release when's the release of the book
no idea i'm sure whatever it might be is probably just like a a loose date okay no no no
here you go here you go shut up sheena shay's memoir my good side is set to be released on july
22, 2025.
The book is a memoir covering her life and time on Vanderpump Rules, offering an intimate,
why is intimate in quotes?
That's funny.
Offering a quote, quote, intimate look according to the publisher.
It's available for pre-order now in various formats, including hardcover, ebook and audio.
There we go, Audible.
There we go.
All right.
We're waiting.
So, yeah, there you go.
I'm not going to listen to it until we get an audible ad, though.
So, Audible, balls in your court, pal.
Well, on here.
like here's the last thing i'll say because she went on two t's actually to talk about it and sheena said
i'm sure there will be people who have opinions about some things that i say after but this is my
truth and this is my time to take the narrative back exactly that's what this is going to be
and to tell my story from my point of view without people editing it i mean yeah of course there's a
copy editor but this is my words 100 all right so would have been better if she said my thoughts 100
percent thoughts would have been a better word there because i don't see her rating if she did look
i'll give her props because writing a book cannot be easy i'm never going to try that but i can only
imagine what that book would look like if she was actually just writing it herself what kind of
writing style you think that would be text l l l l l9 text chat gpt but this is like to further it
she's like you know where does sheena shay stand with lvp today and she said i don't talk to her too
often. She usually calls when she needs something. That was recent when I talked to her. She had a
question about a friend of mine, another show of hers, and that was pretty much it. So she's still
in contact. So again, this to me just sounds like I'm using Lisa to sell books. Yeah. It's funny, too,
because what Lisa said in response to that, that was the excerpt that Andy read her. She said, I've got
600 people that I employ. I can't check in on all of them, but I did reach out to her.
Is that what she said in Villa? Because she just said 700 on Villa.
It was as soon as she said in my ears perked up, I'm like, is this what she's doing now?
She just keeps inflating the number.
I mean, 10,000 employees.
By the end of this villa season, she's going to be talking about that.
I'm going to add one, 10,0001 employees.
10,000.
I mean, obviously, Chef Anthony, whatever.
We'll talk about Villa in a different episode.
Yeah, we're going to Villa after those.
We're done with Sheena.
Let's move on.
Yeah, there's a lot of time on Sheen or Shea, but hey, I'm curious about this whole thing.
I'm interesting.
She's a chance to do something here.
She does it right.

So let's move on to our next topic here. And as we all know,
Next topic. As we all know, Southern Charm is back in production. And if you didn't know, now you do know.
it starts off apparently now we've tried to do this before when they have events and we see it on social media we're like oh they're filming this must be the first event in the season might not be but it's madison's baby shower very nice very cool
austin was invited there's a bunch of pictures not really too much to say about who was in these pictures except for one person who does have a connection to southern charm and that would be corey because core is that his last name nope no that's a senator
Now, if we had Corey Booker, he just filibussed the entire time.
God, that would be great.
Oh, awesome.
No, no, what's his, is it Corey Kiefer or something?
Oh, that sounds more, yeah, that sounds right.
Yeah, I think it is.
But as we know, he, uh, him and Craig were best friends growing up or whatever and then
became brothers in a fraternity.
We haven't seen him in a while.
We haven't seen him since him and Sam broke up.
He was, uh, he went on Winter House.
for that quick
He was on winter house
Summerhouse
He was quasi
Is it last year?
Who cares?
I don't know
Yeah, who cares?
I don't know
But it did spark
A bunch of rumors online
That he was going to join
Yeah, it is Corey Kiefer
He was going to join
The Southern Charm past
As a bit of a friend of role
Now,
I don't care for that
I didn't really care for Corey
We liked his energy
When he first showed up
But very quickly we realized
You know, we have enough of these types of guys on these shows.
Correct.
I don't need any more.
And Southern Charm is one of those shows.
We do not need another guy who doesn't really know what he's doing with his life,
who's pretty attractive, who doesn't treat women well.
So, especially on that show, dude, there's no reason after the season that we just watched
where they, you know, they give Shep the redemption arc while Siena is just buried the entire season,
even though when she tells her side of the story, it's completely different than what Shep
was portraying throughout the season.
That show is a history.
And it was interesting this season watching Southern Charm.
I feel like this was the first year because it's been obviously discussed since we started
recapping this before this, the toxic masculinity on that show, the bullshit, the bad edits for women.
But it really came to a head this season.
And that was really interesting as people really started to call out because I think
it started with Madison not getting a shout out for her PJ company.
because they had that scene
and it was just like a quick cut scene
but she had this whole rollout
for her pajama company
and then you get Taylor's redemption art
that never was because we have those scenes
where she's hanging out with all the girls
and Kiki and everything
we don't get to see that
so this year we had a lot of discourse
in social media on podcast
people speaking out about these shitty edits
that women are getting on the show
do you know how you don't make that better
is by inviting a dude like Corey
on the show because he's arguing
worse than anyone on the show other than like ship so yeah i get it like he's comic enter
like he's comic relief sometimes because he's so wacky doesn't give a fuck but like we have that
we've had that for a while i'm good i i'm leaning towards this is probably just actually i don't
know i why would he be invited to this that's where i've never seen the two of them be in or yeah you know
what i was leaning towards you know he's just there because he was around and maybe he knows madison
and whatever. But I cannot pinpoint one time that I've seen Madison even refer to Corey or talk
to Corey or even know who he was. So now I'm kind of back in the other camp. And honestly,
it makes a little bit of sense. I'm hoping it's not because of all the reasons that you just listed.
But it makes a little bit of sense because when we go into this season, what are we looking for?
We're looking for single Craig or dating Craig again. We're going to have that whole arc.
And that's pretty much going to be the focal point. I would imagine Madison's pregnant,
she's about to have a baby so obviously we're going to get a little bit of that and then we're going to mix in the other storylines as we go it seems like there's not a whole lot else to talk about but obviously the main focus is going to be on Craig and his newfound single
slash dating life it would make sense to have his best friend on the show oh single core a single Craig yeah yeah so I am a little yeah I mean I see the direction I just like like you run the risk I don't want it just more of the same on Southern Charm and I think
that this is a pivotal season for them to shift away from that and point the focus on the ladies
there's no reason to not give the women the spotlight you got madison having a baby vanita just
went through all that shit last season whether you like her or not she has a lot to discuss coming
into this year a lot to prove i mean you could go down the list and i would rather see what's going
on there because like what's new with the boys i would love austin to get some trap hop time like i think
that they just we're at an age now with this show similar to somebody else where like we're
aging out of like let's watch these guys go out and try to get chicks and be dudes and blah blah blah
like it's not the vibe anymore i think that the audience has made that pretty clear so i'd much rather
see a season especially with the newbies on the show where it's like all right let's ship the focus
yeah honestly just shift the focus to the girls the guys see how it goes where everybody is too
especially like yes again we know and we expect and yeah i kind of
to do want to see what Craig is doing and then you know if we're going to be able to see the
girl that he's dating if he's still dating or whatever it might be see how much of that we get
on screen for sure but Austin is in a happy relationship yeah you know it seems like him and
Craig are in a better spot we'd like to see them talk about their restaurant bar and then try to
move from there Shep is in the same place that Shep has always been in I actually watched I
don't know if this is recent or not but I watched a house tour that Shep gave on TikTok
it was depressing as hell is it his house in Charleston yeah
I mean, that house bums me out because all of the, all of the windows have like those permanent shutters over them.
So it's like, it's always dark in there.
Like that was, that's always my vibe when I see that house.
I just assumed that he kept it dark because he was hung over.
Didn't feel like dealing with the light.
But perhaps.
But yeah, so we know where the dudes are.
The dudes have been in the same place for the most part.
Yes, we're happy when people like Austin go on and they're in a happy relationship.
We want to see what Craig's up to.
Shep is in the same spot that he's always been in.
We have like six girls on this cast.
six women on this cast let's see their life why not i agree we've got newbies we've got sally we've
got molly yeah we dip the toe in the water for both of them just to see where they are doesn't seem
like sally's dating that weirdo anymore so she's probably going to be a lot more fun molly was a lot
of fun so let's lean heavier into that i don't care if it seems like an overcorrection and i know
i can already see the comments on the different clips that they're going to post next year oh it's
overcorrection now we're going to see the girls because it's not toxic masculine anymore
good job production like i already know that but that is what i is what i'm
want to see that is the direction they need to go in so hopefully make it more going yeah seriously
that would be nice um let's keep trucking what's next let's keep on trucking over here and this is
something that we're excited about because we uh we've had time to discuss what a game plan would be like
for a show like this love island USA is coming back on june 3rd on peacock we know what type of show it is
If you haven't watched any of it, you probably know all of the people that were in their last season.
It was a smashing success.
Peacock signed the majority of them to a new show, which will be out at some point later this summer, which we'll get them to go on short.
That one's going to be good, too, because that's going to be like the LA version of the next gen type of thing.
Let's see what they're doing with their lives.
Oh, fuck.
We got to watch that soon, huh?
Yep.
That's coming out soon too.
But for this specifically, we don't really know a whole lot.
They kind of play it, you know, pretty close to the chest.
They always do, don't they?
Typically know who's going to be on these types of shows.
It's going to be a lot of unknowns, but, you know, they're going to be models and, you know, social media models and stuff.
But you probably won't know who they are.
So not a lot to report on the cast or anything, but we can report that we are figuring out how we're going to cover it because it is a cluster of a lot of content.
It airs, I think, Monday through Friday.
Oh, with Wednesdays off.
That's actually big.
There's a break in the week, so it's four.
That makes it doable, actually.
That seems like a small number to change everything,
but that break in the middle of the week actually makes this much more doable.
Yeah, that's, yeah.
So we are, we're formulating something.
We're figuring it out.
We'll probably do a weekly recap, I would imagine.
That makes the most sense to me.
Put everything together.
We'll hit all the highlights of the,
week so you guys don't miss anything and you also don't have to spend six plus hours a week
watching it but uh yeah it's just more of an announcement from us rather than news how about that
yeah that's a good way to put it they're going to fiji maybe that's where they were like this is
my first time watching it so i'm really excited oh yeah uh let's see there's a few surprise guest jaw
dropping twists and turns and the return of the infamous casa omore
Viewer, is this new or is this normal?
Viewers will be able to vote for their favorite couples via the Love Island USA app to determine which islanders will recouple, who will remain in the villa and who goes home heartbroken.
The majority of that is pretty standard.
The wording of the one kind of confuses me, because I don't know if you can pick who stays with who.
I mean, you do kind of vote for couples to stay on and then they kind of mix, so I think that's what they're saying.
But yes, there is a heavy fan vote involved in this.
so you do want to try to yeah and the best part is you get it pretty much like uncut like they
i can't imagine what these editors are doing because there is like 15 hours of content every single
day and they have to boil it down and then get it out like within 24 hours it's yeah i'm i'm sure
that they're going through it they're just like fuck it this is good this is good send it out
go to post i'm uh i'm excited for this is my first foray into love i've watched like episodes with dev
like she watched um i think last season i believe yeah uh because there was that one woman on
the show that like everyone really liked and she was dating the guy that everyone really liked
and the guy fucked her over or something like that and it was like the main couple
man it's like everybody i assume but like there was like one one couple in particular that was
like the big couple of the season and then like he switched i don't know i i'm excited to
finally watch the show i think you're talking about rob and lea
Robin Lee and then
Yes, I am. Thank you very much.
That is exactly what I'm talking about.
So I'm excited for it.
I'm very excited for Love Island beyond the villa.
That's where they just follow them around in L.A.
on their like day-to-day lives.
That's going to be a good one too.
But I'm excited to dip my toe in Love Island.
I think it's going to be,
it's going to be interesting once we figure out how to recap it effectively
with all of those episodes coming out.
So buckle up,
bros.
It's going to be a,
it's going to be a shit show for a couple weeks
until we get it figured out.
But it'll be fun.
The good thing is we do get weekends off and it's in the summer
so we don't have to worry about Eagles games on Sundays.
Good point.
So what we'll probably end up doing and this is just kind of a loose commitment.
We'll do, like we said, we'll do a little weekly recaply.
You guys know what everything happened.
And we'll probably just kind of start every week with that.
Maybe like on a Monday you'll get an episode.
This is what happened last week.
If you missed it, then there you go.
If this doesn't work that way, then we'll do like Monday, Tuesday on Wednesday
and then Thursday, Friday, the following Monday.
maybe. We'll figure it out. You guys don't have to worry about that stuff. It is interesting because it's so it's such an entertaining show with all the shit that happens. But when it comes down to stuff that you really need to talk about and kind of like analyze, there's not a whole lot. There's a lot of dead air if you want to look at it that way. So it'll be easier. It'll be pretty fluid the way that we do these things. So don't be surprised if you see two episodes in a week because a lot of shit went down. That's just what we do for you guys. Yeah, because we love you.
What else do we got?

One last little snippet here, and I'm going to read this one, because if you're watching the VAL
You may have noticed a moment last week that caught Steele and I by huge surprise, and that was regarding our friend Danny and his actions when he got very drunk and what he was doing towards Jasmine and her girlfriend, which we felt like didn't get a ton of attention when it came to the show, but apparently a lot of other people have been saying it is building up to something else.
So it's going to be a lot more.
and very unfortunate
Jasmine is defending herself
because people are coming after her
saying that she's using Danny as a storyline
that's insane after what
did we watch the same show
because we saw him apologize to them
we saw confirmation that had happened
both Jesse Jesse and Jason sat down
and discussed it at great lengths
which was appalling to hear
and really was
apologized to Jasmine and Melissa
so I'm confused
I don't know where these people are coming from
but Jasmine took to social media
to go ahead and defend herself
and I'm going to read this one out here
she said there's so much more to come
in regards to the Danny situation
but I got to say I'm so tired of getting DMs
of people telling me how to feel
or saying I'm doing this for a storyline
if someone crosses a boundary
I get to feel how I feel
that apology didn't sit right with me at the time
and I'm allowed to say that and look out for myself period
we said the same thing
the apology seemed weird I mean
he did apologize for it
but he wasn't taking ownership for his actions.
It was just kind of like a,
hey,
I'm sorry if I made you feel weird.
I shouldn't have.
I was like,
it was like he wasn't not,
I don't think it was disingenuous.
I just think you had the same reaction.
Like that was fucking nuts because originally it's like hand on the leg.
It's like get me,
get down another drink.
We're both like,
yeah,
that's a little weird.
But then when you couple that with the ass grab and then you go back to the hand in the leg,
you're like, oh,
that makes the first thing way worse.
Yeah, I didn't mean, not that we're glossing over any of it, but it's like, we're in this weird place with social media and these shows where people, I don't know if people are getting bored.
I don't know if there's so much vitriol on the internet that it's like who can say the most fucked up thing, but we're getting to a place where it's like things happen.
There's a clear, clear right and wrong side.
And yet people advocate for the other side.
It's like Jackson, Brittany, and you have all these data, it's like Brittany, it's like Brittany,
what she was getting into which is fucking nuts i sure she should have known that jacks was a piece
of shit but to use that to say that she's at fault for getting hit with a fucking table
and her son being privy to her her husband screaming at her is the dumbest most victim blamey
shit i've ever heard and here we go again now we're going to blame jasmine for danny being
wildly inappropriate and having to go online and defend herself because
because this dude grabbed her girlfriend's ass and touched her leg and said some weird shit.
What's going on, guys?
You don't have to be contrarian just because you're hiding behind a fake profile.
If you're going to be tough, like we said in the beginning, show your face, bitch.
If you want to be that hard ass on the internet, show your face.
I'm sure that are showing their face and they have no problem with those comments.
We see them all the time, especially when it comes to Bravo fans.
Yeah, and their profiles are all the fucking same, by the way.
It's just insane to be like, you know what energy it gives?
gives when your favorite TV character
was killed off in a show and you go after the
actor or actress that did it. Correct.
You're like, we just, we just watch that in a certain
HBO show. I'm not spoiling anything,
but we watched it in a certain HBO show.
And that actress got a ton of hate online because
of the storyline of a show.
Because the storyline of the show of a game.
Yeah. So let's,
let's just look,
you know how people say podcast
equipment should be more expensive? Anytime you see
like somebody online and you're like, wow, you're
an idiot. You shouldn't have a podcast. We
shouldn't be watching this right now it's predominantly straight white dudes ironically that
shouldn't be having microphones as two straight white dudes sit here and talk to you guys but yeah
that's predominantly but yes to say you should have to pass a personality test to get on social
media i agree like it's it's out it's ridiculous it's i know out if you're an in cell and
you're going to harass people online see you exactly or if you are an in cell you have to show
your face and then you can spew whatever dumb logic you want all over the internet because
people can see you and then in public it's almost like a warning it's like oh there's that guy with
the IQ of a peanut i'm probably going to walk the other way i yeah i don't know but that's
fucking insane to me that anybody has any other stance of that situation like she's vying for a
storyline like get the fuck out of that she didn't she didn't grab danny's hand no and we talk about
that and i guess they're they're really honing in on this too because they're saying oh you should
have accepted the apology and just moved on instead of just like running on to it to make it
a storyline but like take it from two guys who talk about people who don't have storylines a lot yes
this has nothing to do with that it just doesn't like i know that these shows are getting to a
point where they're a little overproduced but it must be serious enough if you've got guys like
jesse and jason sitting down talking about danny's actions and then going into that so it's got to be
a little bit more than that and again she's allowed to feel how she wants to feel and if she feels like
it was disingenuous or she didn't get what she wanted out of the apology and she feels like
he's going to do it again then he might just do it again we're going to watch it play out i mean there's
a reason why it's in there so how can you just hold off see what happens if at the end of the year
you're displeased with her storyline complain about her storyline but don't hone in on this
specifically and just make her feel like shit by dming or commenting on things it's just could you
imagine dude can you like we get dm sometimes i'm just like who waste their time typing shit like
this out but like you're watching a show the whole point's to entertain this this line that people
have now deemed crossable is crazy to me you're not allowed to like go in their DMs and talk
shit about them you want them to get into drama you want them to do all these wacky things then
they do the shit you want them to do and then you condemn them for it not just by talking to your
friends about it but literally by messaging these people and saying that you're displeased with
If it's something serious, like an egregious error, sure, fine, whatever.
But if it's something like this where somebody's saying I felt uncomfortable because this guy put me in a weird spot and I didn't like it and I wasn't 100% satisfied with his apology, how about we don't victim blame?
How about we just for one fucking day on social media?
Use some common sense and compassion.
Stop being such shits on there.
Like, it's nuts to me that she has to go online and defend herself.
That sucks.
That sucks.
sure does we stay with jasmine we certainly do and in terms of news it was a pretty light week
we uh we tried to give you guys as much as we had but we were blessed some other tidbits i know
we had a lot of bangers the last couple weeks but you know there there was one other thing
um and it's not you know talk worthy because i don't know where it's going yet but katie janella
was not on the rosy cast trip um which is going to be interesting i'm curious what her
her role is going to be this year just based on what happened last season.
OSE is kind of up in the air.
It's always one of those shows that we hear way more about what you're doing.
There's always problems with production.
There's always problems with their cast trips.
There's always infighting.
We heard that Tamara quit the show like two months ago at this point.
She did, but then she unquit the show.
Of course she did.
So like, who the hell?
We don't know for sure because she blocked us.
Yeah, exactly.
So we never really know when it comes to OEC.
And we'll, you know, I look at something like Atlanta.
We heard a ton of things from Atlanta and how messy it was, how hard it was for production to get anything together.
Yeah.
A pretty good season, obviously, you know, outside of the Kenya thing.
But everything else is lining up well.
They've got a good cast.
So sometimes things don't really work out how you hear they're going to work out.
O.C. I feel like is the weirdest one because we always hear shit from O.C.
And half the time we forget about it as soon as we start watching.
So we'll keep an eye on it if we hear anything more about Katie.
You know, her status with the crew, status with the show.
We'll keep you guys informed.
Yeah, we will do our due diligence as per usual.
But, uh, oh, yeah, that's another news app.
I can't wait to have like sound bites and stuff.
It's going to be so much fun.
You just wait.
You guys have no fucking clue what you're in store for as these progress.
This is just the beginning.
So buckle up everybody.
We got big things planned for the news apps.
But, um, you got anything else?
Nope.
Oh, you know what we have to do?
I have to set it up.
I'm going to set up the voicemail.
Oh, yeah.
I'll try to get that set up for next week.
So if you're still listening, we're going to try to do a voicemail thing.
So we'll have a voicemail segment where you guys can call in and I guess say whatever.
Do we have to vet them?
I would much rather just play them.
I would really love to play them, but we should vet them.
We'll probably vet them.
But maybe we'll pick one a week where we don't vet it and be like, here we go.
And then we have to cut it.
yeah that's that's when our personal entertainment value gets in the way of you know putting out entertainment
we're like i would really love to just play them just play all of them and see how unhinged they get i would
love to say i trust every person that listens to the show but i trust most of you i trust we've we've built
there's a few that i definitely told you yeah we've built a fairly uh fairly like-minded community
based on our comments most people get it those few that don't would be a lot of fun to listen
too. Yeah. And then you get the one
random that doesn't listen. Like, these guys are
fucking losers. Go
back to war, men.
Why aren't you in the garage cooking a steak
with a beer?
That was like
word for word, like a comment.
Garage? Garage beer.
Garage cake? I don't know.
Yeah, men, cars.
Beef. You got anything else?
Nope. That's the news.
Got a cruise.
