I'm going to go out on a limb here and say that this might be the best show on Bravo right now. This is a good show. I think it's the most captivating. I think it's also the least expected jumps.
Starting point is 00:00:30 and transitions into different things going on. And you never really know what anybody's going to say or how they're going to react to it. It's the least predictable. I think it's probably the best way to put it, which does correlate directly to most entertaining a lot of the time. As there's a drive in a deep left field by Castellanos. Oh, man, it's 8 o'clock.
Starting point is 00:00:47 And so that'll make it a... I don't need the spotlight. I shine just fine. Hi, I'm karma. And yes, I am a bitch. Good evening, everybody. Welcome back to another episode of Brough Bros, your favorite podcast from the Bros for everybody. For whoever wants to listen, I'm your co-host, Steel Russell, joined as always by the one and only next Goots, NYC. What's up, dude? Next Goots, NYC. You know what's funny. I always think. Next Goots, PHL. PHL, yeah, it works. That's actually a really good point. That's what I think about every time I turn the show on. Because they say Next Gen NYC, and now it's the
Starting point is 00:01:31 second season. We haven't heard a damn thing about them doing a next gen anywhere else. So I'm wondering if they were planning on doing like an X-Gen LA or. Oh, God. I don't know. Like it. I, look, this is what they do.
Starting point is 00:01:46 It's Bravo. We've got two valleys right now. Hopefully one of them gets here. The other one just got renewed. That's what they're planning on doing. Anytime that they specify what city they're at, I'm like, I see what you're up to.
Starting point is 00:01:57 You're going to put something on the other coast. I just don't know what that would look like. and who would be on that show. But we haven't heard a thing. I remember that was the talk of the town when this one came out. Oh, we're going to do it, LA one. We're going to have, I guess it would be like Kyle's daughters. A couple of Kyle's daughters maybe would make sense.
Starting point is 00:02:15 And probably Nick Dubrow, maybe. Yeah. A couple other people. But they never really did that and there's no talk of that. Sophia. She's been making a lot of appearance on OC. Oh, fuck. Oh, God.
Starting point is 00:02:31 not to like ruin the five entirely, but that's the funny thing about this show. All of the people that I'm super interested in that I think are doing an incredible job are not Housewives kids. They are not the ones that actually have reality TV backgrounds. They're just new and fun and interesting because they don't know any better.
Starting point is 00:02:50 And it's a really good mix of you haven't been on reality TV before, yes, you're on social media and you understand what comes with being popular on social media, at least, you know, sometimes. But you don't, really know what you're doing and you don't know what you should share and shouldn't share and what you should say and shouldn't say.
Starting point is 00:03:05 So they're finding that little fine line because they're young and dumb and stupid and they're having a great time. So what are we supposed to do except for just enjoy the hell out of it? That's a good point. I will give Ariana Beerman a lot of credit. I think that she's Oh, she's great. Yeah. And she's, like, Tim Solciak also doesn't really count in terms of, you know, like, like, well, she's an iconic housewife, but she hasn't been on the show in like 15 years of this. Very true. Very true. But yeah, he's doing a nice job.
Starting point is 00:03:32 Love Liam. As you know, shy is good for the show. That I can't imagine. Rood awakening. Yeah, dude. Isn't it like that bad though? This is that we have to talk about this because now I'm,
Starting point is 00:03:45 I'm starting to feel bad for shy. Like I know he's like stepping in it here and there. But that conversation that he had where like you don't have any friends. I'm going to go hang out with my friends. Well, he's talking to Riley. He's also not great to watch. But I think here's the thing I think, dude's like shy.
Starting point is 00:04:07 I don't think he's a bad person. I think that when you have that kind of just like airhead personality, he's trying to do the right thing. He doesn't know what the right thing is. But when you live in that ambiguous space of like, oh, I just don't know any better and like, he just keeps fucking stepping in it over and over.
Starting point is 00:04:28 And it's like, just stop doing anything. And those kinds of people bother the shit out of me because, no, they're not bad people. But you repeatedly get yourself into stupid situations because you feel the need to involve yourself when you don't need to be involved. And then because you're not an asshole about it, then you play like, why is everybody mad at me? Because you keep doing stupid shit and getting involved in people's business. So those kinds of people bother me. But I don't think he's like a mean person. I don't think he's a bad person.
Starting point is 00:04:57 I think he's dumb. I think he's young and stupid. Yeah, I think he's dumb too And that just kind of comes to the territory You're going to get a couple of guys like that When you start filming people in like their early 20s, mid-20s They don't know any better He is exactly what I was just talking about
Starting point is 00:05:10 But he's the bad side of things where it's like You don't know what you're doing You don't understand how all of this is going to work When people watch your confessionals And I think he's just aligning himself with the wrong people And we've talked about that already We talked about that in the beginning of the season He wanted to just hang out with the dudes
Starting point is 00:05:25 And unfortunately hanging out with the dudes means you're going to hang out with Charlie and he was just so impressionable. Hudson, Hudson needs to not be on the fucking show. Hudson needs to get off the show. I don't know the skit. I hate him.
Starting point is 00:05:40 Yeah, he bothers. He sucks balls. All we get from him now and all we've gotten from him in the last like three episodes, we got one scene with him at the pool hall where he was pressing. And like, oh, yeah, is that what Liam's doing?
Starting point is 00:05:52 Thanks for letting me know. I'll step up. You're not going to do shit. Then there's two straight episodes of just getting clips of him hanging out. in like his Rolls Royce and getting on a private jet fuck off you're not coming to Bravo con you're not coming to Bravo con why aren't you just get ahead of the questions you are on fucking Bravo do you know the break up we've watched
Starting point is 00:06:10 him off the tour Doug I'm like what do we do I don't fucking understand his place in here and obviously if the rumors are true and we find out that obviously there's confirmation quote unquote here and there that him and Ariana are back stupid for the money fine go for it your bag maybe marry him and divorce someone gets some money out of it.
Starting point is 00:06:30 I don't care. But for the show, the dude brings nuts, like show up. Like, Bravo needs to be able to press. They need to be able to force people to be on the show. You can't just jet to Atlanta because you feel upset
Starting point is 00:06:43 and you don't want to answer questions. That should be the same thing as not coming to a reunion. If you get invited to BravoCon and you're winning an award or nominated for an award, which they're still not really sure which one they're doing,
Starting point is 00:06:54 and he doesn't show, he's off the show. Like, he doesn't have a real reason to not be there. doesn't want to answer questions. That's the job of the show. Kick him off right that and there. I don't understand why they do this.
Starting point is 00:07:05 I agree wholeheartedly. Because it also, it's unique. It's a unique situation in which you're watching him not show up. But it's at the same time giving, I'm better than this because I'm rich, because you just get pictures of him and his dushy friends doing dushy things in dushy vehicles. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:07:28 It bothers me. because he thinks he's like up here. And it's like you are irrelevant to this show. You're not winning an award. Everyone else is winning an award. And I don't want you on this show anymore. The entitled Rich Kid thing, you're not even doing that right.
Starting point is 00:07:44 You're not even doing that right. So I don't want to watch it anymore. Yeah, I agree. Yeah. There's no place for him on this show anymore. I'm done with him. No. And I'm going to be so bummed if Ariana gets back.
Starting point is 00:07:53 I agree if she's doing it for the bag, do what you got to do, no shade. But other than that, like i'm just going to be bummed out for leum i i i told you episode one when i met that guy i was like i this guy's a real he's a real one love this you met that guy yeah met that guy via uh tv real guy but the favorite way to meet people yeah totally but as you said we are gearing up for bravo con and you get shy it's just him fumbling around just the concept of everything's like oh this is a lot realer than i thought like avian brooks like they're ghosted me
Starting point is 00:08:28 about the photo shoot. And I don't know why they goes to me about the photo shoot. One, Brooks is not good at this either. No. And two, it's because of the way you're moving. But again, because he doesn't recognize that him taking Hudson's side over Ariana was questionable or some of the ways that he's been saying things has been questionable, he's then the victim.
Starting point is 00:08:52 He's like, I've pretty bummed out that nobody showed up for me. It's like, well, they, I have to take a, page out of Riley's book here for a second because I don't agree with like her scene either but at the same time shy I hate to be the one to tell you not none of these people like you're not friends with any of these people like that's the biggest most obvious part of this show is like shy you are not in this group no and it could be sad if he wasn't being a dick about it and he just he's not really being a dick about it I just don't think he knows any better and that's why I say like him aligning himself with Charlie is the worst thing you could have done.
Starting point is 00:09:30 Not that there were really many other options necessarily. But Charlie is charming. Charlie is fun to hang out with when he's having fun. They don't like him. They're not friends with him for the most part. But they will still be around him and still have laughs and still enjoy when he's around. And when he shows up, he gives him something to talk about. I mean, we even talk about it in this episode.
Starting point is 00:09:51 Like, who was it? I think Rowan was like, I've only hung out with Charlie like twice. And yet every conversation. we have is about Charlie. That is the Charlie factor. But when you shy align yourself with Charlie, you don't have that personality. You don't really have a personality to begin with. Now I'm being mean at this point. I don't really care. They don't like you. Like, you're just there. You're, your cannon fodder, your background noise. Like, you can't now, after doing what you did and not understanding why it was wrong to talk about Aureana that way and take other people's sides,
Starting point is 00:10:20 which was very bizarre. Now you're wondering why people aren't returning your calls. Like, there is a hive mentality when it comes to this group, which is the one thing I need them to get over, because it is kind of irritating. And it does happen here and there. You'll see Ariana talking about Charlie when the rest of them are like, oh, I can't even stand Charlie. Arianna's like, well, I mean, he might have a sweet side to him. Let me talk to him. That's what I need more of. But for this instance, I'm okay with it because you did just kind of burn Ariana and you don't understand why. So when she goes and talks to everybody else and they all start talking, they're kind of justified to not want to fuck with you right now. And they're going to let you go for a little
Starting point is 00:10:55 while. It is a little funny when we get to the end of the episode and he's got a fucking birthday kick coming out and they're all cheering for him. But they're still not his friends. Like we can all see that. He just can't see it. No, and that's where I'll give Riley's subcredit on the acquaintance thing. Like, I do know what she's saying. That's a very mean thing to she's very mean. Yeah. Yeah. And I think that it's we're saying it. We're, we're allowed to say it right here, but we're not friends with shy. We don't even know him. So we're not talking. We didn't meet him through TV like you met Leo. Yeah. I'm actually trying to give Riley a lot more grace. I think that she's
Starting point is 00:11:25 I just think she's going through it a little bit. I think she's figuring some shit out. I don't think that we need to, there's far too much shit talking going on online for a young 20 year old who's on reality TV making some mistakes. Like we need to get people some breathing room here. That's coming from us.
Starting point is 00:11:45 And we hold a lot of people accountable. But like, let's be reasonable here. But we're also just coming off the long stretch of Love Island where everybody does that at all times. Yeah, it's exhausting. It's exhausting. Yeah, it's a mental struggle, honestly. I think we just came out from that fog recently.
Starting point is 00:12:00 But I saw a picture of the Love Island people, and it looked like they were filming something. And I hope to God, it was just a commercial. I know that the reunion's coming up in a couple of weeks, but I hope to God it was a commercial, because if people are going to start getting excited about Beyond the Villa, I'm going to check out so hard. I might watch it if Corbyn's on it. I'm still team Corbyn's through. true. You know what the worst part is? It was the whole cast except for Casey and Corbyn. Oh, really? So again, not going to watch it. I mean, I will watch it, but I'm not going to talk about it.
Starting point is 00:12:35 Yeah, no. I'll rant about it at some point randomly. Yeah, for sure. But we get Liam and Ariana going on a little ice skating date. I thought this was super cute. Love the move to call Austin and get the shoe size, to get the skates, very smooth. It seems very, very smooth when it comes to this kind of stuff. you get the discussion. And this is where you're going to get fucked up, shy. Because he's sitting there with Charlie. Right. And they're both not surprised that Hudson's not going to Provocon.
Starting point is 00:13:05 I don't know Hudson. I'm not surprised. He just seems like a little bitch. But it's weird to me that Charlie is now, and this is, but this is the difference. Okay. Charlie's now using the stance of like, oh, Ariana deserves better. and Hudson's holding her back and this and that. He's now taking the side of Arianna,
Starting point is 00:13:26 despite the fact that he would say he was going to fuck her and is still saying that he's going to fuck her this season. And potentially he's, and possibly didn't. They keep alluding to it on the show, too. They're really leaning into it. So the difference is, like you said, he's just charming.
Starting point is 00:13:42 You can watch the scenes. Like people are actively pissed off at him. He'll wiggle his way back in. They snap out of it eventually. They're like, oh, wait, now, fuck you. you, but he can pull people back in. Shy, you have no charisma. You cannot be letting Hudson who's rich.
Starting point is 00:14:00 That's his thing. And that's going to serve him just fine in this life, which is annoying, but it is what it is. Charlie is very charming. You are neither. And you don't need to use these two to emulate who you want to be as a dude, because what you're going to do
Starting point is 00:14:15 is continue to ostracize yourself with other people in the group. that's why you're out on the outside of everything because you're trying to be Charlie and Hudson, two of the worst people you could try to be. But they have something going for them. Hudson's simply money. Charlie's charming. Shy, you're none.
Starting point is 00:14:33 Just like go hang out with anybody else. Go hang out with Ariana. Honestly, it's right there. She will make sure that you don't look like a douche bag on TV. Well, that's the other problem too is when we get into him and Brooks having their conversation. apparently he said something about Ariana. So now his intentions towards Ariana are questioned.
Starting point is 00:14:54 So he's just shooting himself in the foot, left and right because he doesn't know any better. And I think for a while, and this isn't one of those things where like a shitty dude got, got like well along with all of his bad behaviors and nobody ever questioned it. And now people are kind of tuning into it. I just don't think anybody really cared
Starting point is 00:15:11 and that he did something wrong. And they saw him aligning himself with Charlie. So they started paying attention a little bit more. So maybe he has been doing these things all along. It just hasn't been called out. But it is getting to the point where it looks very pathetic, where you don't understand that people are mad at you and you can't really fathom the idea that they're mad at you. And meanwhile, you're calling Brooks and Ava like 50 times and they're not answering you. Go get new models, man.
Starting point is 00:15:36 Like, I know you're trying to make something happen. He even said something that kind of hurts by yourself. He's trying to do it for free. He is. That's exactly what he wants. He wants his friends to come in and do it for free, which, you know, I don't agree with Brooks for a lot of things on this show. But saying that I've got a modeling agency and you have to go through them to do it, makes total sense.
Starting point is 00:15:53 It just does. And shy doesn't fucking understand that. But anyone else and the people that you want to emulate would just say, ah, they're not answering. Fuck them. Like, hopefully this is a big move and I can just get normal people in here. I'll get a couple of people, pay them a little bit. But what he's talking about his business, he's like, you know, I put a lot of work into this.
Starting point is 00:16:12 I even dipped into my savings a little bit for it. I'm like, okay, so you still have more money. Go pay models, dude. It's not like you said you went fucking. broke. It's not like you said, I took all of the money I have. I sold a bunch of assets and I just dumped it all into this thing. So I'm trying to swim by with just what I have. And that's my friends being my models. There's also more friends in the group. Like we've seen you sit down. You were sitting down with Rowan. Rowan's not really that mixed up in there. Rowan will probably
Starting point is 00:16:36 do it. Look at her mom. Like she knows what the fuck she's doing. Bring other people into it. You just get so hellbent on like, wait a minute. Why is Brooks not happy with me right now? Why is Ava not happy. Ava's also going through shit because she just found out that her boyfriend was cheating on her. So there's a lot of shit going on. You have to be able to pivot. He just never has. And it just goes to show you again, he doesn't have the mentality for that, doesn't have the mentality to be in this group or on this show.
Starting point is 00:17:01 I agree. It's just it's really started to become glaringly obvious. And with this conversation with Brooks, is Brooks great? No. No. Not really. But do I understand where he's coming from in this? Yeah, I do.
Starting point is 00:17:18 I agree with you. Like at a certain point, you know, yes, you guys are all quote unquote friends. Again, I think you need to rethink where you stand with people in this group shy. But to me, it just seems like you're groveling and trying to get things for free. Like Brooks, for better or worse, had he wanted to do this, I guess, a favor, if you were tight, that's one thing. But assuming that people are going to do something for free, especially when those people are in, fact models, I think is short-sighted. And I think it's disrespectful to them.
Starting point is 00:17:53 And again, you're looking at this situation where it shouldn't have been an issue. It should have been a conversation. They didn't answer. You should have left it alone. You didn't. And now it looks worse on you because it seems to me like you're trying to grift. Because you don't want to spend more money and you figured that Brooks and Ava already have a following.
Starting point is 00:18:12 I can piggyback off of them. Do you know why I know that? Because you said that, shy. Instead, I want to use them and they're following to promote your thing, which of course you do, but don't say that. Like, don't flat up be like, I'm using them and I want them to do it for free. Yeah, it's it's beyond me. But I, my only hope, because I don't want him to just completely crash and burn because that's also not interesting. I need him to figure it the fuck out.
Starting point is 00:18:39 I don't want him in a way, it might be entertaining to watch him just kind of fumble through it and then get some terrible advice. I think it's going to get old. continue. I think it's going to get old and he's going to do the puppy dog thing like, oh, you guys don't really like me. And that's not going to be fun to watch either. Like, it might be interesting at first, but you're not really going to get anywhere with this group when you do something like that. So I need him to figure it the fuck out. If he's going to stay on the show, if he's going to continue moving forward, I want to watch him figure it the fuck out and start burning some bridges. Like if they're going to be mad at you, if the whole group is going to be
Starting point is 00:19:09 pissed at you go. That's where you want to go if you want to try to emulate Charlie. That's what you should be doing. If they're all pissed at you for something you did to Ariana, who you were friends with and they're friends with her, but they were kind of acquaintances to you, then fuck them. Who cares? Move on with your life. Go figure things out. That's what I need him to do, because then at least it makes him somewhat interesting. The best thing he could do, honestly, is just be indignant and say, all right, fuck everybody and go do your own thing. Stop pandering to the group. The pandering is where you're losing a lot of people. And again, not understanding where these problems are, because, dude, you never say that about your friend.
Starting point is 00:19:46 You should never imply that something that's supposed to be completely platonic and you guys are supposed to be good friends, that you're not going to go through with it because of Hudson. You're able to contain yourself because you're friends with Hudson. He wouldn't want to do that to him. But Hudson out of the picture, I would absolutely go for Ariana. That's what it implies. And he's like, I just said she was cute.
Starting point is 00:20:06 And like, I wouldn't do it because of Hudson. You miss all of it. Like, that's inappropriate. And that's objectifying your friend. and it's a bad fucking look and that's what people are trying to get through his head. But even so, like you get the dumb puppy dog, I said she was pretty.
Starting point is 00:20:23 Why is that a problem? It's like the ultimate foot and mouth type of situation. Like, why do you keep talking? Like, everything you said, right now, this conversation should have just been very platonic. It should have been very normal with Brooks. Yeah, maybe Brooks tries to get under your skin a little bit. But all you have to do is just hold them to like,
Starting point is 00:20:41 hey, I thought you were going to do this for me. now you're telling me I have to go through your modeling agency. What's up with that? And let him answer. Don't let him bring in personal issues. This is about business. If you're going to run your own business, you have to understand that you have to separate those two things.
Starting point is 00:20:54 Brooks doesn't understand it because he hasn't had to understand it. And up until now, I'm still questioning whether or not Brooks is actually a good business person or if he just got what he got because of his parents, which is probably looking more true every day. But you hold him accountable. And if he doesn't respond the way that you don't want him to, then move on.
Starting point is 00:21:11 Like you're doing this whole like, oh, okay, I'm sorry, Brooks. I guess we just leave it at that, man. I'll see you, BravoCon. Like, oh, God, dude, spare me. Insufferable. And also it's like Brooks doesn't fucking care. The one thing I really does. It is his not give a shit attitude at times is entertaining,
Starting point is 00:21:34 where it's like he's trying to play to his sympathies, him being shy. And Brooks was like, okay. I'm not even give you this time of day anymore, pal. But I need to understand. It has become like a thing in my life. I need to understand why people don't like Georgia to the level that they don't. Because here's what I think it is.
Starting point is 00:22:02 Okay. I think that Charlie is so charming. And I think that Amira doesn't want to look stupid because, she is known as being that person you don't fuck with. Like, oh, you don't fuck with a mirror. Like, she's your best friend until she's not, if you burn that bridge. I don't think she wants to admit
Starting point is 00:22:20 that this Charlie thing is as bad as it sounds. I think she wants to have that place where it's like, oh, maybe there's a way forward with him, and I can put a lot of the blame on Georgia for bringing this up because it seems like she has ulterior motives. That being said, I do think it's fishy that Georgia keeps involving herself and I do think there are her motives.
Starting point is 00:22:44 But she gets flamed anytime she tries to do anything. It's like, oh, fucking Georgia. It's like, well, she is trying to help. I don't know if she, I mean, like, look, I think there's, there is a history somewhere in there. And the fact that Amira and Charlie seem to have a deeper friendship that's gone on for a few,
Starting point is 00:23:03 a few longer years. I think after the Georgia Charlie shit last. year maybe Charlie and Amira sat down and really talked about Georgia and Amira took that the heart and that's why she's holding it against her. I don't know. I mean, it is obviously very apparent
Starting point is 00:23:18 what George is trying to do. This was the old, I threw that out there. I really thought that you and Charlie were never going to be friends again. Now I'm hearing through the gay grapevine that you guys are sitting down and talking and you guys hugged at the end of that conversation
Starting point is 00:23:30 because that's, I assume what happens. I'm assuming that all got back to Georgia. And she's like, all right, let me take it up a notch. I've got two more. I'm going to go up one more, see if that works.
Starting point is 00:23:40 And that one's not going to work either. It's just eventually she's going to have to cut her losses. I don't know why she's so hell bent on getting a mirror to hate Charlie. Like, I don't think a mirror really pipes up Charlie that much to the rest of the group. She's just kind of there and she talks to them and we have scenes with the two of them or confessionals with the two of them. But other than that, it's not like she's trying to force everybody to like Charlie. She's not sitting down with Ariana. She's not sitting down with, you know, anybody else that Charlie's got issues with.
Starting point is 00:24:06 and saying like, hey, give him another chance. He's a really good guy. She's just talking to him. So I don't know why Georgia's so hell bent on it. She just wants to ruin Charlie's life because she's mad at Charlie. That's all I'm getting from it. So if that's enough for a mirror to be like, ah, yeah, you know what?
Starting point is 00:24:21 I'm going to let Charlie explain his way out of this one or at least give him a chance. But Georgia, I know exactly what you're doing and I'm tired of your shit. I think that's what's happening. I just don't know for sure. Yeah, I guess that's where I land. It's like I can't confirm, right? And it does seem to me. the vibe that I get from Georgia and this whole situation,
Starting point is 00:24:41 everyone's feelings about Georgia, I just think she irritates people. Yeah. I don't even know if she is doing it from like a bad place. I'm sure there's some vindictiveness because she hates Charlie because he burned her. Yeah. But there's another side of that where you could say that she's looking out for a mirror because she knows what it's like to everything she was saying clearly resonated with
Starting point is 00:25:03 the mirror. She was like, yeah. Yeah. Like he makes you feel like so. so cherished and he makes you feel like your friendship is the most important thing. And you can see a mirror kind of going, oh, shit. Like, yeah, it's exactly the good to me. And then he says some fucked up stuff.
Starting point is 00:25:17 But it just cracks me up no matter what she does, what she says, whether she's being nice, whether she's the one being antagonized, whether she's the one sitting at a table, and Riley goes full throttle to the point that she almost throws a drink at her, even in that instance, to this day, Riley's still saying that one of the, Arianna is a problem and to Georgia is the problem. I'm like, how? Now what does Georgia do to people that makes them just always hate her
Starting point is 00:25:44 no matter what she literally was almost getting thrown like a glass was almost thrown at her and she's still somehow being looked at in that situation like ah Georgia just can't help herself. She also like handled herself pretty well. I'm with you. I think it does make sense
Starting point is 00:26:00 and like why is everybody so mad at her? Like what is she doing behind the scenes or talking to people? Like is she just when she talks about the gay grapevine, like is that also where she goes to just talk shit on the entire group and it does get back to them? And they're like, hey,
Starting point is 00:26:12 we're not going to do the thing where we talk about stuff that happened off camera, but George is clearly doing something. So we're just going to keep it on camera. I don't know. But I think for what we see, she handles yourself pretty well. I mean,
Starting point is 00:26:24 the Amira thing aside, because that's a lot deeper and has way more ramifications. Sure. The Riley thing we can focus on. It's like, she saw you again and she could have really held a big grudge. Like, hey, fuck you. you got pissed at me, told me that I can't afford a burkin and then almost threw a glass at me.
Starting point is 00:26:40 Instead, she makes a joke and she's like, a real out to hug. Like, I don't really get it. And Riley's like, oh. Yeah, I know. I don't know what she did to piss everybody off. But people don't really like her. They definitely are okay with her and they listen to her when she talks, which is more than you can say for shy, but they don't really like her and they don't trust her.
Starting point is 00:27:00 There's got to be something else going on there. I don't know what it is. It's fascinating to watch though. I know. We'll get right back to the rest of our episode. But first, let's just take a quick little ad break. From the parents behind law and order comes a mystery the whole family can enjoy. Patrick Pickle Bottom, everyday mysteries. The war is over and both sides lost. Kingdoms were reduced to cinders, an army scattered like bones in the dust. Now the survivors claw to what's left of a broken world, praying the darkness chooses someone else tonight. But in the shadow dark, the darkness always wins. This is old school adventuring at its most cruel.
Starting point is 00:28:22 Your torch ticks down in real time. And when that flame dies, something else rises to finish the job. This is a brutal rules-light nightmare with a story that emerges organically based on the decisions that the characters make. You'll laugh, but only at the people who deserve it. Like, which serial killer would you most like to shove into a locker? BTK and his awful poetry. Dude got caught because he didn't understand what a floppy disk was. We look for the stranger than fiction stories,
Starting point is 00:30:03 like the case of Patty James, a killer catfish before the internet was even a thing. Or Howard Walmsley, a sentient wad of, damp laundry who convinced his town he'd won the lottery, fleeced local businesses out of thousands, and then became a romance scammer. We've covered tons of cases you've never heard of, cults, scammers, killers. So come find your next great binge. Starting point is 00:32:17 Everyone's getting ready for BravoCon and it's the government shutdown. Watching Brooks, I'd like realize that the government's been shut down for a month. He's like, wait, what? It was kind of funny. Ariana, her mom's going to be there. Kim Zolsiak is going to be at BravoCon that eases her nerves in Las Vegas. I didn't think she said Vegas that weird. Is that?
Starting point is 00:32:35 did you yeah i we know we really like keyed in on that for some reason i don't really get it i think that was really a thing but yeah i would be excited to meet jake from state farm as well so i do understand that one um and i also understand charlie more now watching mom and ivor just interesting you could make a show those three i think you could yeah i think you could i think they they said they live in london so I don't know. Yeah, let's get over there.
Starting point is 00:33:08 Let's get some cameras. We'll see what we have. I think we can work something out. I do too. I ever seems like a very interesting person. And Charlie's mom seems very strange as well. And it does kind of give you more input into why he is the way that he is. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:33:23 And says things. And this is what drives me nuts. Because, you know, I just, this kind of talk just bothers me. But it's even worse because it might actually work when he's like, ha,
Starting point is 00:33:33 there's one or two I'd probably hook up with, and probably will. And he actually might have. And that's fucking a bummer. He's talking of his parents. I know. I just, I don't know.
Starting point is 00:33:44 Yeah. But anyway, and also him not understanding that if you were good friends with Georgia and then you're hanging out with his ex after you told her that you weren't going to hang out with her ex and then you hang out all the time. And he's like,
Starting point is 00:33:55 what do you mean? It's like, well, yeah, it's kind of a dick thing to do. He made it her problem. He was like, you introduced me to this guy.
Starting point is 00:34:03 You told me to be friends with him. and then you tried to pull him away, like, no, it's my friend. I'm still going to do things. He's a very good gas lighter. I'll give him that. But we got to check in with, before we get to the, when we were at the end of the dinner, we do get to see poor Kendall one more time.
Starting point is 00:34:23 Talk to Liam about Ariana and all of that stuff. And you just got to feel for her. He's just got to kind of feel for her, because you know that she's in love with this guy. And I think you said it best Like we've never seen somebody more in love with another person On your show like this before It is it is tough to watch
Starting point is 00:34:42 Like very interested in all of the things going on in your life And then has to throw out that last ditch Like so uh You did did Ariana get the flowers that you said Oh yeah Did she? Uh yeah I don't think she's got into her room yet But I'm really excited.
Starting point is 00:34:59 Okay. Yeah. Um Such a good guy. I think that was I think that was just a really nice mood, Liam. Like, that was, oh, God. I would love if somebody did that for me. It would make me so happy. We're so close. And I'm even doing the thing now where I'm looking and like, as we're kind of bouncing back and forth and the Liam dinner is whatever. Like, I don't, it sounds like he had a premiere and it went well. That's great for him. But I'm looking at
Starting point is 00:35:23 the pictures and stuff like from before the, um, before the film was released. And I'm like, ah, shit. She's on the other side of them. I bet you should really wanted to be right next to him. But she probably also has. had that thought, like, I don't want to be right next to him because I don't want to make him uncomfortable. I just want to stay close enough to him so that when and if it happens, we're close. I don't want to be pushing it. Like, I'm reading very far into all of this that she's doing.
Starting point is 00:35:47 It's a classic, like, teen coming of age rom-com where, like, you have, like, the girl with her really close friend and the really close friend what's the best for, but she's going after the jock on the football team. And not until the end of the movie. Does he realize the error in his ways go, wait? he's been there the whole time. I don't think that's going to happen, but that is what we're saying.
Starting point is 00:36:08 No, I don't think so. Although, I mean, like, look, if Ariana, if she did hook up with Charlie and if she does get back with Hudson, Liam might be so spurned by trying with Ariana that he never wants to try anything that's like not, I don't want to say sure thing,
Starting point is 00:36:26 because that just seems like gross and sexual. But in the relationship world, he knows that Kendall will be there for him. Oh, no. And then he's settling. Then she deserves better than that. No, but like, I don't know, rom-com-wise, it would be, let me put this in that term so that you feel better. Thank you.
Starting point is 00:36:45 Rom-com-wise, it'll be, I can't believe I fell for that shit. That's not who I am. I know who I am. And then he dates Kendall. And then Kendall's like, I've always known who you are. And they kiss. Yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:36:57 Yeah, that's Christmas in New York. Yeah. Yes, definitely. Definitely Christmas in New York. And they don't get. that he took Ariana to. No, no, that one's forever tainted. It's going to be a better skating rink.
Starting point is 00:37:09 It's going to be the Rockefeller one. They're actually going to have a really good tree, and it's not going to be that bald shit that they had like two years ago. Remember that one? Oh, my God, that was comically bad. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Anyway. Yeah. Where were we?
Starting point is 00:37:23 Oh, as we're getting close to dinner, Charlie's feeling better about the Amir situation because they had a good talk, and he's done it for many years. And our foundation, this is when you know you have a master manipulator and gaslighter and just kind of a bad person. Our foundation is good. So whatever George is trying to break, we can outlast. You said, I can't begin to imagine the fucked up things he said about Amira.
Starting point is 00:37:55 Cannot begin to imagine. Even if he was joking, it does not matter. I'm sure in regards to her identity, he said some deplorable things. You know it. Everyone watching knows it. But even so, George is the problem. Other people are the problem trying to get in between mirror and a mirror's friendship. Or just maybe.
Starting point is 00:38:17 Don't be a bigot and a piece of shit. And then this stuff won't blow up in your face. I don't know. This one, I might fall in for the Charlie Charm. This one might be a lie. I think this one might be a lie because the first one absolutely a million percent
Starting point is 00:38:34 I don't think he gives a fuck about Brian I think his name is Kevin. Hey, give Kevin some respect. I don't think that Charlie gives a fuck about Kevin. So I could see him making comments like that, especially to Georgia.
Starting point is 00:38:48 But he's friends with Amir and he's been friends with Amir for a long time. I don't know if he would go that far. I hope not. I really hope not. I really hope not. but this could be maybe it's like looking at it a little differently instead of the i've got things that charlie has said to me from georgia that i can use against him because i really want to put a wedge
Starting point is 00:39:08 between the two of them so i'm going to try this one and then i'll try one more at the end instead of that it could be fuck i told her the truth and she still gave him a pass on that let me make it worse and make some shit up that he can't corroborate and no one else can corroborate so we'll see how that actually goes like maybe that is and it would also kind of tie together a little little bit of why people don't like Georgia because maybe she does shit like that. Maybe that's enough, but because it was so personal and
Starting point is 00:39:35 so against Amira, Amira still like, it's going to take her. It took her a couple of days to get over the Kevin thing and then she eventually sat down with Charlie. But when she first got it, she was running around, screaming and like freaking the fuck out saying she would never talk to Charlie again. Three or four days later, she's sitting down with Charlie. So she needed some time to cool down.
Starting point is 00:39:52 This one's way different. This one's way deeper. Way more personal. It might take her a little bit of time, but I think she's going to talk to Charlie about it. And Charlie, this one, he's absolutely, he's not going to do the, maybe I said some shit. He's going to do like, no, fucking chance that I ever say that. And again, the only person that can corroborate the story is Georgia. So that won't come to vitamin the ass. But as far as we're talking about it, like, I really hope he didn't, because that would really suck and that. That would be, that's enough grounds for like, all right,
Starting point is 00:40:19 get off the show. Yeah, no, I totally agree. So hopefully that didn't happen between that and the potential crypto torture shit, like. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Seems like a walking red. Not one. But Riley and Shy, this is where you get that acquaintances scene where she's like, you don't have friends.
Starting point is 00:40:36 I have friends. You are a loser and you have acquaintances. But she weirdly then is nice. I guess this is her being nice when she's like, but we'll make those acquaintances your friends. Like she doesn't feel bad for them, does feel bad for him at some point. So I don't know.
Starting point is 00:40:51 Maybe she's kind of figuring it out. I don't know. I'm giving her a lot of grace because I think that being young on reality TV show must be difficult. So giving her some breathing room here. But let's just get to dinner because we get a lot of bopping around.
Starting point is 00:41:05 Everyone's just getting ready. They're flying to Vegas or Vagas or whatever the fuck that was. Vegas, yeah. Big ass. Vegas. Vagas. Vagos. Vagos.
Starting point is 00:41:16 Vagos. Yeah. Did Kim Zolsiak say Vegas weird and maybe that's what they were doing it on? I don't remember her. Oh, I don't know. I don't remember that. That was the other thing I was thinking. I was like maybe her mom said something like Vegas and she said it really weird.
Starting point is 00:41:30 So they really wanted to hear Ariana said it. I don't know because I'm with you. I don't think she said it weird at all. No, not at all. But while we're at dinner, it's kind of different than what I thought we were going to talk about. And they teased it in the trailer intentionally to make it seem like a mirror. I was telling Charlie keep my name out of your mouth.
Starting point is 00:41:46 Talk to me again, blah, blah, blah. What actually ends up happening is Georgia and Charlie get into it, question mark, more so like. joke around. And I think that that probably shed some light on why people get aggravated with her because she's over in Amir's ear saying, oh, Charlie's awful. He said this. He said that. And now she's like keying and having a funny time.
Starting point is 00:42:09 But I don't know if that's fair to hold against her. I sound like the biggest Georgia stand in the world. I'm really not. But I feel like this is kind of what everybody does with Charlie. Like this is just watching Charlie do his thing where it's like someone's mad at Charlie. Charlie's charming. Charlie Wiggles his way out of it. Here's the thing from Amiris perspective, though,
Starting point is 00:42:29 if Georgia just told you what Charlie said about her, and now you're watching her Kiki with Charlie in like a very normal way and not a I want nothing to do with you, if it's true, it says a lot about Georgia too. Like you're able to have a conversation with this guy. You're able to joke around and go back and forth with this guy, even though you just told me and no one else at the table knows what you just told me or has not heard what you just told me.
Starting point is 00:42:55 So they can do that. You can see those instances where Ariana does it, Ava does it, Riley does it, even though none of them really particularly, Brooks we saw last week, none of them particularly like Charlie, but they're able to do those things,
Starting point is 00:43:08 but they don't know and they're not privy to what he said about Amira. If they were, I would imagine the majority of them would just completely, nope, cut you off, block you're done. I'm not talking to you anymore. But Georgia goes and tells Amira this, and then a day later, she's able to have this conversation with Charlie in public.
Starting point is 00:43:25 Why? Either it's not true and you made it up to try to drive a wedge between us, which is deplorable, or you're okay with what he said and you don't really fucking care. So either way, it sucks. And if Amira, who just learned this information is sitting there and she's like, what the fuck is this? Like, you just told me what he said. Now you're able to go back and forth. And everyone else is like, this is why we don't trust Georgia because she's trying to get all
Starting point is 00:43:47 of us to hate Charlie and yet she's having a conversation with him. It's very inconsistent at the very least. but there's obviously some more, you know, underlying factors in there. Yeah, I think we're starting to paint a picture. I'm starting to see it. No, I don't. We need something to kind of hammer at home.
Starting point is 00:44:02 I need some like damning evidence. I'm like, bam, that's why Georgia pisses everybody off. But you're right. Amira sitting there and maybe she, and this is like Georgia's shortcoming, maybe she was starting to lead towards Georgia where she's like, okay, like maybe she does have my best interest. And then this happens.
Starting point is 00:44:19 And she's like, oh, no, she's full of shit. So yeah, that makes a lot of sense. But that's pretty much it. For the most part, you do see glimpses. And they're doing this on purpose, of course, of Charlie Ariana. It's starting to build up a little bit. You get a little moment here at the dinner table. We get that clip from a TikTok or something and saying, like, oh, she needs to be careful
Starting point is 00:44:43 because it's the first perfect time to fuck Charlie Zakur. So they're clearly building that up. We've all known about that for a while. I don't know if it's been fully confirmed. It's definitely looking like it's probable, at least from the information coming out. Yeah, there was enough going on when we saw, I think it was like last week of the week prior, where enough people were running with it and then using pictures where I guess at the end of the season maybe or even after the season finished, they all went on vacation together.
Starting point is 00:45:13 And it wasn't really the whole group like Georgia wasn't there, but Charlie and Ariana were there. And there was no Hudson or shy. so maybe there's something there and we also see the two of them sitting on the plane together where Ariana apparently moved from first class back to sit with Charlie. So there's enough there where you can run with it for a little while. At the very least,
Starting point is 00:45:32 it makes for some pretty compelling information because getting back to New York and people start talking about that and then there's the Liam situation, there's the Hudson situation, there's everybody in the group. There's Amira in Georgia also talking about Charlie. Even though Charlie has been shunned from this group,
Starting point is 00:45:47 he is still the absolute direct center of this show, which is very interesting. Yeah. Look, he's good for reality TV. Now, if some of these things start coming out to be true, get him to fuck off our screen. But for the time being, he's at least a good reality TV star.
Starting point is 00:46:05 He's a necessary evil on this show in particular, because without Charlie, I'm not sure this is even remotely close to the show that it is right now. No, no, I agree with that. And also, FYI, I'm an idiot. I thought I put out questions on Friday when I thought we were going to do this. And I didn't. So you guys don't get any questions this week.
Starting point is 00:46:26 Yeah, you don't get it. You guys don't know. I'm just kidding, guys. We'll be back on schedule. Yeah, we're back to normal now. Yep. Everything is back to normal. We took our breather.
Starting point is 00:46:37 We're feeling recharged, ready to go. So the broad bros are back. Don't you worry. So we'll get your questions. If you have a good question from this week, you want to ask next week, go for it. what are you giggling about? The amount of times we have to say the propros are back. Oh, well, I mean our name came back.
Starting point is 00:46:54 The whole rose, the show is debacle. Yeah. Yep. Yep. We all remember those days. Which, by the way, no, I'm just kidding. Anyway, that's all I got. You got anything else?
Starting point is 00:47:06 Nope. That's our show. Brought pros are out of here. The tutors were probably the most scandalous dynasty in British history. The season of vulgar history were spilling the tea. on this messy, messed up family and the people who had to live through it all. Anne Boleyn and the other wives of Henry VIII
Starting point is 00:47:25 are known today from the musical Six, but who were they really? Did any of them actually want to marry him? Henry the 8th, the man who was literally the worst? How did two of them manage to escape with their heads intact? We'll also get into historical mysteries, like who really wrote Shakespeare's plays? Who was the real Bloody Mary?
Starting point is 00:47:43 What was happening elsewhere in the world while the tutors were trampling all over England, like the mysterious disappearance of the Roanoke, colony and the true story of the girl known as Pocahontas. I'll be joined by tutor historians, experts, and a few of my friends who really hate Henry the 8th to learn all about the tutors this season on vulgar history. Because it's fuckingry the 8th all day, every day. Listen to vulgar history wherever you get podcasts.
