This is probably my first thing.
favorite time in Love Island.
Like the episode six to seven jump is always when I get fully invested because you get the love
bubble.
You know, the first couples are all followed for each other.
Everything's so peaceful and nice.
You got rid of the dead weight.
Everyone can just relax and hang out with their couple.
And then bam, episode seven is full meltdown.
Everyone's panicking.
Oh, my God, am I going to get voted off the island?
Is he into hers?
Is she into him?
It's perfect.
This is beautiful.
chaos. It is beautiful chaos.
And we're recording this before episode
8. So before the first fan
vote of the season comes out
with which bombshell is going to
couple up with which OG,
we don't know yet, but we are going
to speculate and we'll probably
get this one right. This one I feel like
this one is very straightforward. Yep, agreed.
As there's a drive in a deep left
field by Castellanos. It will be... Oh man,
it's 8 o'clock. And so that'll make it a
I don't need this
light, I shine just fine.
Hi, I'm Karma.
And yes, I am a bitch.
Brov Bros.
Good afternoon and welcome back to another episode of Brov Bros.
Your favorite podcast from the Bros.
For everyone, whoever wants to, are so close.
For everyone's to listen, I go, Steele Russell, joined as always by Shooter Maguter.
That was good, too.
I was, I was cruising.
It was, you were slightly going Irish towards the end.
It happens.
Anyway, yeah, I know.
I could just tell, though, it's really inflection, I feel like, between Scottish and Irish.
I'm going to get shit for that.
I don't know why I said that.
But I don't know why I just spoke that out.
What the fuck did he just say?
Yeah, yeah, I just pissed off to two very big islands.
But yeah, it's about that time.
I feel like this cast has been a bit of a slower burn.
But now I've started to develop my favorites.
We've got our first fan vote.
that's going to be revealed tonight after we're done our episode, of course.
And I'm just really looking forward to it.
I don't think it's going to be as big of a meltdown as we saw last year.
I mean, what was so captivating about last year early on was the hood of Jeremiah stuff.
The rest of it was, you know, kind of whatever.
We really just have one couple to focus on it.
And they're creating chaos.
And I really enjoy it because we have so many people in this house that just understand what this show is.
I've never thought that I was going to hear that many islanders say.
I mean, it's still kind of early.
So, yeah, we're all exploring.
We're all trying to figure things out.
I'm very comfortable with you.
But if something else comes through that door and I'm thinking, well, that's my type.
I should go explore.
If it doesn't work, I'm just going to come back to my comfort zone.
And then it's reciprocated.
It's a very weird situation to be in because I felt like last year, the big downfall early
on was that they all just closed off so quickly.
Like, we even had the self-awareness of one of the conditions.
contestants saying, I don't want to say closed off.
I shouldn't say closed off because that means it means something very big here.
I think it was Zach who said it.
That's a much bigger thing here.
So I shouldn't say closed off.
But we should have this discussion right now.
And I appreciate it.
I agree.
I like the vibes.
I like that people aren't getting overly invested.
It's not the right word because it's also funny.
You see people matching energy, which I love because one person in the couple might be more
into this whole thing than the other person.
The other person gets to a point where it's like, wait,
whoa, whoa, we got to slow down.
Now, the other person that doesn't want to slow down is indignant.
They're not thrilled, but they respond with, all right, fine, I'm going to explore too.
They're a little pissed off about it.
But that's what we want.
We want exploratory couples.
We want people bop it around, making out, doing a bunch of wacky shit.
That's when this show gets really good.
And that's my point in episode six.
It's after the recoupling.
everyone landed where they're supposed to land.
Obviously, Corbyn selected Kenzie, so they're coupled up.
So it says, Sean, go bye, bye.
But this is the time where they just are all happy.
And I forgot about this moment.
It's the column before the storm.
Because as we know, after this, it's bombshell after bombshell.
Then we get to what you call it, Casa, and things just go south from there.
So I loved watching this false sense of security creep into the villa.
We're kind of checking in with everybody, you know, even Melanie and Cincinnati.
here. They're doing good.
All the bullshit's kind of calm for a little while.
Anaya and KC. They're doing well.
Corbett and Kenzie. Kenzie's thrilled because he's got giant hands.
And you know what that means.
Big gloves.
We all know what that means, yep.
But I have to ask you, who going into episode six, you're looking around at the
couples, you're seeing the interactions.
Who are you confident with?
Who are you a little shaky with?
Well, I mean, obviously you've got to be shaky with Melanie and sincere.
I think the whole world noticed that.
one extremely confident with Brace and Trinity.
My top couple right now, my favorite couple.
I love watching them.
I love Bryce.
I thought that he started off so slow for me.
I didn't think there was going to be anything here.
I thought he was trying to be Nick from last year.
He's his own dude.
And there's a bromance budding that I really enjoyed too between him and Zach that everybody's shipping now online.
I'm really enjoying those two.
And obviously, I mean, we can go outside of sincere and Melanie.
I would say
Zach and Kada maybe
it just doesn't seem like there's enough of a spark there
I know I'm dipping into in the city
but it doesn't seem like there's a lot going on there
whereas KC and Anaya you can look at it and be like
all right I know the KC does things here and there
and Anaya seems very like short footage.
She understands what she's into.
She wants to stay with Casey.
She's already talking about things outside the villa which you know scares me.
But I think that if you look elsewhere,
it would probably just be Zach and Kada,
just sheerly because you don't really see a lot of them.
Yeah, I agree.
I think that the biggest surprise for me,
because we talked about last episode,
it took me a little longer to get fully bought in this season.
It wasn't like last year.
I was just like all in episode one.
But the payoff,
I'm way more invested in this cast than I was last year.
I like this cast so much more than last year's cast
because we're not getting micro-influencing.
We're not getting people plugging things.
It seems so much more authentic.
and I love that.
And I love watching them just kind of navigate this whole thing.
It's so fun early on because obviously the premise is insane, right?
It's not realistic.
But they're having the conversations.
Everyone's getting cozy and comfortable.
The biggest surprise for me, I came around on Gabriel a little bit.
He's going to lose me in episode seven.
But I just, when he's talking to Beah, like they seem to just kind of be.
so much on the same page for now.
Again, episode seven is a different story.
Just stay with me.
We're in episode six right now.
Okay.
I know where we are, but I'm still confused.
So try to talk me through this one.
I just thought that they,
they seem like they're communicating well.
They seem like they're on the same page.
After the, he gave, what's the word?
He had a very orgy vibe about him when you came in,
you know, very, very orgy-ish.
That went away for you?
Yes.
This episode.
You have to understand.
I'm episode to episode with this shit.
I don't know.
I don't know.
I don't know.
I enjoyed him more than I thought I would.
How about that?
I didn't think that I was going to like his scenes as much as I did based on what I got from him early on.
But I actually, I think he's a big softie.
I also think he's got orgy qualities.
But I think he's also kind of a softie.
I am racking my brain right now trying to think of one moment where I thought that he was a softie or that he had any personality outside of.
I kind of want to kiss.
Yeah, no, I've never liked it.
I've actually hated him since day one.
So I got nothing for you.
I'm curious about the audience.
Sound off in the comments how we're feeling about Gabe because I was surprised.
I know how the general audience feels about Gabe and it's in line with where I am.
So I don't know if you're going to get much support, but our listeners are a different breed.
We know that.
So maybe there will be some people that support you.
I need them to understand.
I don't like him now.
It's just episode six.
No, and again, I mean, like, I just know that at no point did I ever enjoy him.
I mean, to be fair, I don't really enjoy Baya.
Baye, even in, I think it was episode seven that she said this, but I'll just jump into it.
Baya walking around, she's like, yeah, you know what?
I don't really have that many girlfriends.
I'm like, oh, really?
You don't?
Yeah, I got to figure that.
She, maybe.
I don't know.
I can see that going haywire.
But Baya is fine, I guess.
you know, she gets into things and she's a little bit more interesting.
But Gabe has never been even remotely interesting to me.
He's never struck me as a softie.
He doesn't seem to have any personality out of, do you want to kiss?
Should we kiss right now?
That's his personality for me.
So I don't, I don't know.
Maybe that's just where I was.
I was predisposed against him.
So I've never seen any other side.
So I'm going to let everybody else kind of decide on that one.
But I'm telling you where I am right now, I've never liked them.
No.
And like, look, I'll say it for the last time.
It's just this episode.
I started to enjoy him more than I thought I was going to enjoy him.
It does not mean he's like top of my list or anything like that.
So everyone's settled down.
But I am curious what other people think about him going into it.
My favorite dude is sincere probably.
Sincere one and then Bryce two.
We are going to talk about a little hiccup from sincere in episode seven when we get down there.
But overall, I liked how he's moved around the house.
I think he's been respectful for the most part.
And I do think that this relationship between him and Melanie is probably the most interesting
just because it's so up and down.
And I was getting the vibe that it is her, that she, she's the one causing issues.
But it's interesting, go back to episode two or three in her confessional.
She's like, I'm going to sabotage this.
I'm going to self-sabotage this thing.
And we're literally watching that happen in real time.
When we get to the slumber party in a second, it really happens, but it is fascinating to watch.
I actually, I've done a total 180 on Sincere.
And look, I'm here for it.
I think he's entertaining.
I think he's very good at gaslighting.
And look, I don't think that it really matters.
I don't think it matters anyway because Melanie's been self-sabotaging pretty much since episode two.
But I do get weird vibes from him that he's slowly like kind of putting it on her,
but also pulling back a little bit.
And when she does something, he really makes her feel bad about it.
And it starts to get to the point where instead of making her feel bad verbally,
he's now branching out and talking about this whole explore thing,
which again, like, we're fine.
Like we've watched a couple different couples navigate that.
And you can use Trinity and Bryce as number one.
But you could also look at Casey and Anaya.
I think in terms of like authenticity, the two dudes in the house that stand out to me
are probably Bryce and then Casey.
I think those two, I actually believe when they see.
the things that they're saying.
Like I think that Brite or Casey got into a little bit of heat,
but I think Bryce and Trinidad are on the same page.
That couldn't be a better couple for me right now.
I'm going to be heartbroken eventually when something happens.
But I think for everybody else, I'm like, I, it's okay if you explore.
It's fine.
Just don't sit there lie and then go do something, at least for me, for authenticity sake,
for the show's sake, please keep doing that.
It's hilarious.
But sincere, I've been keeping a close eye on because he has an out.
You can just take the out.
Like you don't have to do these.
weird things along the way where you know we saw when corbin came into the house and
Melanie was going crazy he's like what the fuck and then she's talking to corbin in front of kensi
at the end of episode five that was a big issue she's doing all of these things along the way
and it's early on enough where you can just turn back and be like i don't really fuck with your
vibe right now so i'm going to look elsewhere like you could just be up front if he was the guy
that he's trying to portray himself as i think that's what he would do but instead he's like
i'm going to hold on to this i still want to grow our connection and like i don't actually i don't
believe you anymore. I think you're looking for your way out and you're trying to make it
100% her fault and you don't want to take any of that blame. I can see where you're coming from,
definitely. Like, I do have reservations about sincere because of that exact reason. It's like,
if you're going to be the emotionally intelligent guy, if that's the route that we're going to go,
then you have to be that guy at all times. What he does is when he gets in a spot, he plays that
hard, but disregards the other person's feelings.
For example, in episode seven, he's talking to soul, or sorry, after he smooch his soul,
when he goes back to Melanie, he's not telling the whole story, at least not the right way.
It comes out eventually, but it's like, all right, dude, time out.
If you want to be this soft heartthrob, whatever that you're trying to play, you can't
have those moments where you're not telling the whole truth.
Lying by omission cannot be in your repertoire because that gets me to where you're currently
at. I'm like, all right, is he playing this card? Is this all kind of a scheme that he's got going on?
I'm not fully on that that side yet. I do totally see where you're coming from. And I would agree,
the most solid that I'm not really questioning are Casey and Bryce, especially after Casey gets into
some hot water and checks himself. That was, that seemed like a real check to me where he's like,
all right, I ain't to lock the fuck in right now because I have a chance here. I think that those are
the two conversations that you look at. It's sincere talking to Melanie about.
what he's what his motives are what he's thinking and again i think melody's done enough where if he just
plainly said look i got the i'm good i want to move on i want to go explore other things i think you should
too that's probably the best way to do it if you're going to be that person so i feel like he kind of
uses his emotional intelligence powers for evil rather than for good which you know i'm
sure that won't hold up i'm sure he'll continue down that path and then eventually we'll all be
able to see it. But for KC, I think when he realizes that he's doing something,
and he's like, all right, yeah, you know what? I can still do all these things. I can still go
explore and do whatever and talk to whoever I want as long as I'm up front, but I also have to
be able to do that in a way that doesn't hurt her feelings because I am trying to grow up. So like,
it is obviously, it's a tightrope walk. So I don't expect everybody to just know exactly how to do
that. God knows none of us would ever know how to do that. But when you're sitting on your
couch watching this, you kind of pick up little things here and there. And when sincere is talking to
Melanie, I get all the wrong vibes.
When KC's talking to Anaya, I get more right vibes because it does seem like that initial
reaction of like, I mean, like that's what the game's for.
And then when he realizes that Anaya feels the way that she does, he's like, all right,
yeah, but I should probably go about it a way that's not going to hurt your feelings actively.
Whereas sincere, I think is just like, I've got like a get out of jail free card here.
So I can continue to gas light.
I can go do my thing.
And then I can dump you whenever the hell I want.
So I assume that's what's going to happen.
Now, he's not going to do the dumping if all things play out the way that I imagine they'll play out because he's to pull away and make her break up with him, guys.
Yeah.
And look, I already know what we're going to see.
America's vote is the bombshells, which we'll talk about in a second with the big bed challenge.
But I do know what's going to happen.
He's going to get paired off with soul.
Everybody's going to vote for that.
Just to try to get and replicate the hood of crash out from last year.
It's not going to be the same thing because this already happened.
So whatever.
That's what I think he's in last year, the second vote.
It did.
Yeah.
we just started kind of getting weird.
But I think that that's what's going to happen.
He's going to get voted to be with soul.
And then Melanie's going to be upset.
And he's going to go over and be like, look, like, I wouldn't have done this to you.
But America decided to do this.
So I owe it to her now to just continue to explore.
And he's going to stop exploring with Melanie, of course.
But if he meant what he said while they were up in soul ties, he would continue to talk to
Melanie even after America pairs of the soul, which he's not going to do.
That's, I feel like going to be strike number one for him.
Can we talk about the fact that we're sullying soul ties right now?
People are very willy-nilly going into soul ties.
Okay.
I don't know how I feel about it.
I get that sends a message if you want to do that.
But that was reserved, I thought, for bigger moments.
And we're just, we're using it now.
Who was it?
Gabriel and Jen that went into it.
They went, yeah, in episode seven.
But before that, who was it?
Was it Melanie?
And now that was that, that was seven.
Oh, no, it was Ken.
No, it wasn't Kenzie and, uh,
shit.
Is that his name?
No.
Kada.
No, Katie.
Oh, you're talking about the new guy is, um,
Caleb.
Caleb.
Is that right?
Yes, Caleb.
Yeah.
I think I just merged you people.
Yeah.
But I feel like we're using soul ties to willy-nilly.
I mean, that's just a side note right there.
But let's talk about the bed challenge.
I watch this at the gym.
Okay.
So let's just say I was like hunched over my phone.
on the Sarah Master making sure nobody saw me.
I might have a like a ban now next time I'm
trying to go in, but this was a wild challenge.
They're handcuffed to the bed.
The ladies are blindfolded and you have to find your man.
Right.
Now based on everybody,
finding their man relatively easily,
it's a lot more damning for Melanie,
doing the bounce back and forth between Corbyn and sincere.
I think the three,
people that stand out to me in this challenge are Trinity because she went first. We didn't know
what to expect. Was it going to be, you know, you've got paint on your hands. You're going to touch.
You're going to grab their face. And I'm like, well, this is kind of stupid. Also, I feel like at first,
I thought that the guys were also going to be blindfolded. And then when I realized afterwards that
they weren't blindfolded, I was upset because I feel like they missed out on an opportunity to like
not know who we're kissing. Like, this will be fun. And then we get to pick each other and figure
it out. But instead, I actually do think the guys not being blindfolded worked out a lot better. So
that was the degree against me.
I was wrong about that.
But I thought if we were going to just look across the board,
because some of them were uneventful,
Trinity, I feel like set the tone.
She goes across the bed.
And as soon as she gets to Bryce,
she stops,
which he had to watch her make out with what,
five guys before she even got to Bryce.
Totally fine.
I think that that was a win for everybody.
Everybody's kind of laughing and having a good time.
Bryce is really excited because she didn't keep going.
I'm like, oh, damn,
she could have gone up to,
if she's counting in her head,
she could have gone up a couple more.
Didn't stop the Bryce.
great. Anaya went along the bed, didn't make out with anybody, got to KC, then made out with
KC. So I thought that was, you know, it shows who Anaya is. She watched, I guess she was blindfolded
while, yeah, so she didn't know that. But I imagine they probably told them like, hey, you guys
could have some fun and make out with whoever you want. And she opted not to. So that's big.
Melanie, this was fucking wild. Makes out with every single guy, finds sincere, knows there's
one left, probably figures out that it's Corbyn, goes back and
forth at least four times probably five times i should have counted i think it was five or six
yeah it was a lot it was an absolute a lot and and and all the guys being a lot yeah and all the guys
being able to watch that just added another element because i imagine everybody's staring at like
what the fuck is going on it since here's like i don't i don't know what to do this is this is a huge
strike i feel like this is grounds for a divorce on love islands this should be let's have a
conversation right the fuck now and be like no we're not doing this
no and the the way that she tries to defend it too didn't help because she's like well i didn't know
who was who i was like that's not a good response because everybody else did and also you're not
going to convince me as as brice kept saying since here's 510 160 pounds maybe
gordon is 6 4 230 like you're not getting those two confused it just is simply not happening
so her defense wasn't great i will give her props she had the
very least didn't get defensive with it.
She did kind of own her shit.
She's like, yeah, I fucked up.
I fucked up.
But the funny thing.
Eventually, yeah.
Eventually, yeah.
But watching everybody go about it, you know, we're having fun, whatever.
And then the bombshells come in.
And everyone's head snaps.
This is where Gabe then lost me.
All right.
So everyone relax.
I'm not a Gabe stand.
It's just for that one little time.
I was like, oh, maybe he is kind of sweet.
It's a very small time in episode six because we're still in episode six.
I know.
But at the end of episode six at least.
But yes, it was a very small.
small time. And that time is now over, but it was a nice time while it lasted. But the reactions
tell me a lot, everyone that's getting all hyped up. But I was surprised because I thought that
Bryce was like really, really jazzed up about it. But when everything kind of settles down,
he's not really interested. He knows Jen because they modeled together. But he seems like I'm
curious, do you think had Trinity not locked it down the way she didn't stop smooching? Do you think, do you
think he still would have felt that way because that seemed like a big moment for him where he was
like oh wow like what did he say that was a quality that's that's i think so yeah he said he said
that about uh trinity showing the bombshells the house in the next episode but i think for brice yeah
i think that was a big moment for her stopping i think that kind of like locked it in for him i also
don't think like he just still doesn't strike me as the type of guy that's going to do too much now
i mean obviously the guys are going to get excited two hot bombshells walk in like oh cool
this is fun this will be a good time they're all making out with us this is great so i think that's fine
but i don't think he went overboard and i do think yeah i think every little step we can point to
along the way of brice and trinity you can look at a couple different things and be like wow that's
that's really good let's not forget episode two they both voted no on staying in the relationship
both got denied by the bombshells that walked in with gabriel and kata came back to each other and now
they're the strongest couple in the house like what a love story i love that i think that's part of it i
think the fact that they came back together strengthened them honestly because they were like,
you know what?
Let's really dive into this.
Let's really give this a chance.
But my favorite takeaway from the event overall is the fact that the girls are pissed.
Yeah.
The ladies are fucking mad.
They're like, you're covered in red paint.
Yeah, yeah.
They're like, wait a minute.
And I know Ariana had to like walk them there.
Like let me take your hands.
Let's count the colors.
Who's blue?
And there's obviously.
And they use the right color for it because red is the one that everybody's going to look at right away.
And poor Casey is covered in red paint.
That didn't help.
And I don't really think that's his fault.
Like he was handcuffed to the bed.
It's not like he like got back up and went back for more.
So, uh, yeah, walking them down the lane to be like, all right, what do you guys know?
Oh, shit.
They were, I knew there were bombshells.
I think the funniest part and the most diabolical part is the Kada was on the bed going back and forth.
Like she's slowly working through.
And you had both or you had soul at the time.
going through making out with them while kate is also making out with them which was hilarious and then
you also had jen come in i think when beatrice was on there because she's the one who said i felt footsteps
somebody was walking behind me i think so yeah so the the mix in the merge if you will like yield
while you merge was very funny for me and when we get through all of it and they finally realized oh
this fuck it sucks all the guys are just kind of giggling and laughing because we already let's not
forget we had that challenge the day before where corbin was the guy in the bank and they went in an
made out with him and then they didn't tell them until ariada brought it up so like oh do we tell
them i don't really know this one's a little too much so that was very funny to me but poor kc was just
like yeah i mean look i got red paint on me what are you going to do and that was the funny part
because the dude's reaction after the corbin in the office thing it was kind of whatever they
weren't thrilled but they're like it's part of the game whatever yeah that's not the reaction we got
here but something very interesting happens
It's because of, I think it's because of Melanie's reaction because Caleb comes down the stairs.
You see his feet as everyone points out and she's losing her mind.
She's jumping up and down on the bed.
She already did the bounce back and forth.
Now she's doing this to put the cherry on top.
But something very funny ends up happening.
And it's honestly exactly what you talked about earlier was sincere making her feel bad.
All of the dudes do that.
They all see an opening to really pull.
it on thick fucking Zach does it to kata so strong he's just like rubbing her face in it so they
went from being pissed off at the guys to then the guys finding a way to spin it because melani
got too excited and they're all like hey it's a challenge okay we didn't do this yesterday now
you guys are doing this and you know what i i really don't appreciate it i was like oh shit they're
all gaslighting all of the ladies and it works they all get apologies between that and also it
working out perfectly that once again Melanie is forefront.
Yeah.
Right in front of Kenzie.
So while she's trying to make the argument and everybody,
everybody on that couch is like,
ah,
there's Kenzie's man.
He's coming down.
Oh,
did you hear that accent?
Melanie's still going nuts,
but she's right in front of Kenzie.
So she's,
her whole point of,
I was really excited for Kenzie.
It's like,
well, you started when you saw his feet.
No.
Two,
you're in front of Kenzie once again,
just like you did with Corbin,
which got you in trouble the first time.
So no,
it's not like you,
were turning around looking at Kenzie, man, like, look, there's your man.
You were just really excited in front of her.
She couldn't even see the guy walking down the step.
So no, again, I thought that was very funny.
And it was completely coincidental that it just got set up that way that she could possibly do it again.
I just love going from episode to episode seeing the exact same thing.
Exactly.
And it was, it was just a funny, like, 180 because the dudes used it to their advantage.
Yep.
Everything kind of settles down.
And, like, I agree.
You know, you can't really get that mad because it's.
out of the game, you know, but the one thing that does happen, and I respect this out of Anaya,
because of how she moves.
She's very respectful in what she does, and she has been since the beginning of this whole thing.
Casey was making faces.
He was kind of leaning into it, and he says when Ariana is like, how we feel, guys, so blessed.
I was like, oh, no.
Don't say that.
And Anaya feels some type of way about it.
But I do think that because of that is going to actually.
actually make them one of the stronger couples because they have an actually real genuine
conversation after not the night of because the night of he does a terrible job he's like yeah yeah
you know but we're here to explore and uh yeah soul's hot so yeah well there's yeah there's i mean there's a
couple of things that he says in the next episode that make me think otherwise but before we get
into the next episode i feel like right now is a good time to just take a little ad break and then
we'll jump back in and finish this bad boy up

But yeah, like I was saying with Casey in episode seven, I gave him praise in the beginning.
I did say that I feel like he had that, oh, shit moment where he realizes I can't really just like
walk all over and Naya just because I want to go explore to do whatever the first.
fuck he wants. I get the vibe that he still just wants to explore. He's just trying to figure out the
best way to break it to Anaya. So I'm not putting them up there for me anyway as a potential
strong couple. I think Casey's going to get out of there at some point. I think he's really just
trying to figure out how to do it without looking like a dick. Interesting. I thought that until their
last conversation. Maybe he sold me in his homework. Yeah. Yeah. I think he just honestly, I think that's
what he's trying to do. Now, look, I mean, you could say that about anybody on Love Island.
Sure. Just not Bryce. He's our baby boy. But everybody else, I mean, you could look to and be like,
they're just looking for their own way out. If their exact type walks through, I mean, how many
times did he say, uh, pixie cut? Yeah, she looks just like my ex, except it's like, all right.
No, he was talking about sincere talking about that, but he talked a lot about the bombshells
beforehand and then tried to rein it in a little bit. And then he had the conversation with
the Naya the first time, didn't go super well. Then when he goes back the second time,
it's completely retold.
So I think he's just trying to find a way to get out of it without being a total dick.
Interesting take.
I can see where you're coming from.
I'm holding on to hope that he's not doing that.
I will say, yes, Bryce is our baby boy.
I think, and I thought early and I still feel it, but I have a reason why he's not doing it.
I think he's more of a fuck boy than he's given on.
But I think that he was not expecting.
to hit it off with Trinity the way that he did.
And I think that that has a lot to do with why we're not seeing fuck boy activity.
And I'm not saying that he's being disingenuous, but I think it's in there.
I just think it's been delayed or put to the side because this couple's going so well.
And I could be wrong, but that's kind of a vibe I got.
I think you could say that for Trinity, though, too.
And I think that's why it works is because they both, they've had probably the most sound conversations
that I've seen on this show in a while where they sit down,
they're both talking about exploring,
they're both saying,
I think Bryce even says the Trinity in this episode,
if somebody walks through who's my exact type,
I think it would be stupid of me to not explore and see if there's a vibe there.
And if there's not a vibe,
I obviously know that this is perfect.
And I would expect you to do the same thing.
Like, it was just weird to actually hear people be like,
all right,
it's not gameplay for something like this,
but it is how the show is working.
And it's almost like they both understand.
They would be doing themselves a disservice
if they didn't go explore elsewhere, if they wanted to.
And he said, it's not going to happen every time.
Look, somebody could walk through that door right now.
That is my type.
Somebody could walk through that's not my type.
It doesn't mean I have to go talk to them.
It just is what it is.
And I think that they're both being grownups about it.
So they're both doing it to each other and it's just working out really well.
That's a good point.
That is a good point.
I'm curious if we're going to, because obviously we're going to see fuck boy activity.
We haven't seen it yet.
This episode, we get more of it.
And this is like all you need to know with Gabe and what he's actually there for.
for he's just trying to hook up with some hot ladies that's all he's trying to do it's always doing
the new bombshells walk in he's like see you bea i'm going to go talk to these two and see what
i can do and he does like the same moves he's not even creative he has the same conversations
over and over and over again they all lead to kiss me now now it's time for you to kiss me fucking
the conversation with jenn and we touched on it earlier talking about uh your issue with
people going to soul ties for for non big events yes that was it's
It was bullshit.
He's like,
I'm going to teach you some Portuguese.
And it was so weird.
And like,
it just ached me out.
He aches me out beyond belief.
But then he makes out with her.
Obviously,
Jen's going to make out with him because like he's a good looking dude.
The other problem with me with him,
he doesn't fucking close his mouth when he's just sitting there.
Like if he's not talking his mouth,
he's not hanging out,
but he does that douchebag mouth open thing.
And I fucking hate it where he's like,
yeah,
it's fucking icks me out.
But after they kiss,
Anaya had walked.
walked by and he's like, ooh, did anybody see that?
Like, all right, dude.
Like, I want to vote you off as soon as humanly possible.
Yeah, I agree.
And like that's, that was why I would say, like, hold on until we get into episode seven.
I will make more sense, guys.
Don't worry.
But yeah, I think that his intentions became very clear.
He's, he's hiding behind the, you know, it's to show.
You got to take risks.
Like, we got to explore.
I'm trying to leave here with my lady.
I was like, I think you're just trying to fuck.
But okay, dude.
But when you go through everybody, obviously.
obviously sincere is who we're all locked in on because we're coming off the Melanie stuff.
Soul comes in and they go to talk and I, they have chemistry.
You cannot deny that they don't have chemistry.
And they're sitting there.
They're doing their thing.
And soul initiates the kiss.
Now, this was a telling moment for me and this journey we're on with sincere.
Is he is he playing for the camera or is he being sincere?
year the fact that he didn't go from there and have a conversation with Melanie and let her know
that a smooch had occurred because that could play to either way that can play to him getting out
be like hey we just made out we have a connection i'm going to explore that pretty heavily
or he can just go tell her like hey we kissed but i'm still into you he does neither of
those things he pleads the fifth all the way until they do it
again later and they kiss in the speak easy she almost catches them that was a bold move by the way
you don't want to open that door you don't really want to see what's going on there melanie yeah that
was fucking hilarious i always love with moments like that happened too because it's it's after the
whole day like they're literally just milling around all day and it's so funny to watch the
conversations that happen now because they've been there for they keep saying like a week i'm
pretty sure it's about five or six days and there are so many different conversations outside
of couples that are actually not exploratory.
Like it's funny.
You get like Casey and Melanie sitting down because obviously Melanie realizes what's going on with
sincere.
So she's sitting with Casey talking about her connection.
And Casey's like, dude, come on.
I love you, but that was fucking wild.
You just bounce between your connection and Corbin back and forth and back and forth.
Corbyn also has to get the hell out of there.
I have a theory that he's making his voice deeper than it actually is to try to make himself
like cooler.
Oh, really?
I don't mind him.
It's really pissing me off.
He's so, so boring.
I'd rather watch paint dry than have to deal with Corbyn anymore because his questions are
so broad and stupid.
Him flirting with people.
He's like, I've got this great connection with Kenzie.
And I'm like, she just touched your hands for like 30 minutes and you guys haven't
talked.
You guys haven't talked at all.
So no, absolutely not.
And we don't really need to talk about Caleb and Kenzie sitting down because that they're,
that's her type.
We already know that.
Like their conversation played out.
exactly how I thought it was.
So it's really just focusing on what's going on.
I guess, you know,
we're going to talk a little bit about Casey and Anaya in a bit,
which we already did a bit already.
But with Melanie sitting with Casey,
he's like, dude, like we all watched it.
Like it was absolutely wild.
And then you went fucking nuts.
And she's still trying to do the I was so hype for Kenzie thing.
And Casey's just looking at our sideways.
And eventually she goes, you know what?
Yeah, I fucked up.
I fucked up.
I'm just self-sabotaging because I know this is what I'm going to do.
It's like, all right, thank you for the love of God.
Thank you for actually just.
admitting it that's almost like a weight off of everybody's chest i feel like because you're kind of
tiptoeing around where you don't really want to tell her but you also have to tell her so her saying it
herself is like all right cool we all see it we all know it but now you know it so we can actually
have a discussion about it meanwhile sincere's just trying to figure out how he's going to just stay with
soul and yeah you don't want to open those doors once they go up there i mean i don't know how long
they were up there but that's always such a gamble you almost want to send a naya and be like hey
you mind pulling him for me,
which I assume is against the rules,
but I have to go weasel my way up there.
And they stopped the kiss like immediately.
I know.
And that was,
I don't even think that was an editing thing.
I think she may have slightly knocked at first
because they heard the rattle.
And they heard the rattle.
And she just so immediately stopped,
dipped, said,
yep, great timing.
Can I steal him?
Go right ahead.
Let's talk about it.
And yes,
sincere did actually come out with the truth
and say we did smooch.
Because she asked.
Exactly.
And he's like, you know what?
Yeah, I can't lie to you.
I'm going to be truthful to you.
But then that's where I start the question sincere.
Because when she's asking more questions, then he's starting to pour it on heavy.
And then he's trying to tell her like, look, I'm exploring other connections.
Like it was just a kiss.
It wasn't anything crazy.
I'm still into you.
I'm still in this couple.
I'm like, dude, no.
Like you, again, you were handed a gift on a silver platter to get out of a relationship that you don't want to be in so you can go explore with soul.
just tell her that.
If this is who you are,
you would just tell her,
but you doing this backtracking
isn't going to help your image.
Exactly.
That's when he,
he didn't lose me.
I still like him.
No,
I still like him.
I just want him to do better.
Oh,
no,
I know.
I was just saying that's where like,
I was like,
ah,
maybe you're not who you say you are
because that was the moment.
He already perked my ears up
when he was talking to Seoul.
And she was like,
are you going to tell Melanie about our kiss?
You should talk to her.
Yeah.
she asks. I was like, oh, that's weird. That's not the same as yes, I'm going to tell her. And then,
like you said, he's kind of borderline lovebombie with her at the end there. And by your confessional,
sir, it appears to me that you're all in on soul. She gives you butterflies. You can't stop
smiling, all this other shit. So for him to spin it at that moment is really, if we're going to
talk gameplay is really bad gameplay. Because what he's going to do is alienate himself from both
soul and Melanie because soul's going to be like wait he didn't just tell you like that's weird
eventually he's going to move weird she's going to think that maybe he's not up front yeah and if
it was soul's choice i think a discussion about it like in the next episode and episode eight
if they had a larger discussion and it gets back to soul that he didn't tell melany about what
was going on then maybe it would affect it but it's america's vote we already know since here's
going to be with soul.
So, and they're going to throw it out the window immediately, even if that discussion occurs
beforehand.
Once they get coupled up, they sleep in bed together.
They're just never going to talk about it again.
Like we've seen this happen before.
It's just never going to be an issue again.
And Melody's just going to be kind of be scrambling.
But at that point, it's like, all right, how does it work out for Melanie moving forward?
If she wants to stay in the house, she can't just go creep on Kenzie's guy.
Like, that's not going to work.
It's not like there's anything happening there.
She'll have to end up with Corbin.
And that's where it gets really.
because I don't know what the hell that looks like.
Like the way that it's planning out when we go through the bombshells,
obviously Caleb's going to be with Kenzie.
Soul will be,
I don't know where Jen fits it.
Where the hell is Jen fit in?
I was thinking the same thing.
I guess you're going to be with Gabe?
I guess Gabe.
And then that makes it a Beatriz and Melody race for Corbyn?
Because there's an odd number of girls.
Yeah.
So yeah, that's going to be very interesting to watch play out over the weekends because
that,
none of that will play out until
I guess Friday nights
episode and then we'll have to deal with it all
on AfterSun with Sierra
Hell yeah I'm actually really excited for that
but yeah
the Corbin of it all is interesting
because he's not exploring
at all I honestly I just assumed
he was going to get kicked out like that
I'm like oh this really but I
then I just did the math and I'm like fuck never mind
no too many girls not guys yep
yeah I don't know what he's going to do
because he's putting all of his eggs in the Kenzie basket
He even says, I'm not going to explore the newbies.
I was like, he probably should if you want to stick around because you need some options.
You have to be able to do the math in your head, right?
Like, all right, so they're going to pair off.
He did.
He said I'm going to be single and vulnerable.
Yeah, but he won't.
So maybe he didn't do the math at his head or he did the math wrong.
That's probably true too.
I can resonate.
I don't know.
You could, yeah, you can never underestimate or overestimate the intelligence on a show like this.
I don't know what it looks like, honestly.
I really don't.
I think that's going to be super interesting,
assuming it plays out the way that we just said,
although enough people online don't like Gabrielle,
so maybe they will put Jen with like a Corbin.
Like maybe they will do that.
I could see Gabe being the odd man out.
Obviously, the numbers, whoever he ends up with.
But I have one idea to float out there.
Then we can take some questions from our audience.
sincere and anaya
how do you feel about that
which part
them potentially coupling up
I like their conversations together
I'm not saying it's going to happen
I'm just saying put it on your radar
just putting it on your radar
see how you feel about it brother brother sister
I would feel weird about it
Nick and Alandria had that same relationship
yeah and I still get shit for that
I still think it's fake but whatever
what well to be fair
Nickelandria never
Nick and Landry never should have had that relationship.
They bent the rules to keep fan favorites on there so people would continue to watch.
So, you know, it's not my fault necessarily.
I love that you're still, you're so stubborn that you're still.
Yeah, they got eliminated.
And they're like, not really, guys, we're going to do something we've never done before because
God forbid we lose you to.
Look, I like them.
I've come around on it.
But I just wanted to put that out there, see, just to ruminate a little bit.
Because I think their conversations are nice.
And I could see it.
I agree,
it's very brother-sister right now,
but there is a world in which,
you know,
shit gets weird.
They end up coupling up and they're like,
wait a minute,
this is kind of nice.
I don't know.
Time will tell.
Time will tell.
And let's get to some questions.
I love this first up from Rachel Nicholas.
Should I watch this show?
And then the follow-up,
I will never know the answer
because I don't listen to the recap.
Well,
that's just mean.
Oh, yeah.
that's nice.
Yeah, you should be listening to the recap either way.
Come on.
But yeah, you should watch it.
And you're not listening right now.
So I don't even know why I'm telling you that.
It's just kind of goofy.
Gianna G.D. Imperio kind of feel bad for Melanie at this point.
I mean, it is kind of sad because she clocked the fact that she was going to self-sabotage and we're literally watching herself sabotage.
And the hardest part, she's not realizing that, wow, sincere might actually be a good dude.
and I can't stop self-sabotaging.
Maybe I should just tell him.
Yeah, probably.
That's probably a good conversation to have.
But the conversation they do have, he just needs to move on.
Yeah, I agree.
It just needs to happen.
You just have to rip the mandate off, dude.
From Hey, WMS, do you think Melanie is playing mind games with Sincer or is she just
completely unaware?
I think it is what she said, or she's just self-sabotaging.
I think it's it's always a touch of I'm on a Love Island show.
I need to be able to just kind of goof around and do whatever the fuck I want for a little bit.
And then reality kind of sets in where you realize maybe this isn't the best way to go about it.
So I always like watching the psychological struggle there.
From Molly Free, why does Bryce give me the ick?
I don't, I don't know.
I'm not sure.
So you problem, Molly.
That is it you problem.
Look, if he's got something hidden in there, I wouldn't be shocked.
But maybe you clocked it early, Molly.
I don't know.
Yeah.
Let's do one or two more since we've got an episode to do after this.
I've got Ryan Stomeman 83.
Do you think that Kenzie would have chosen Sean or Corbyn?
I don't know.
She said something weird about Sean where she was like, yeah, you know,
I was just getting a know him.
I kind of miss them, blah, blah, blah.
But she seemed fine with Corbyn.
I think she probably still would have taken Corbyn, weirdly.
I know that a lot of people think that she would have taken Sean, but I don't know.
I don't think she was like,
overly into either of them.
I think she would have went Corbyn because he's hotter in that moment.
Because I think that she has just been waiting for a Caleb to walk through the door.
Yeah, exactly.
That would have been funny.
See, like, that's obviously, you know, in hindsight, if it played out differently and she
had chosen Sean, you keep Corbyn on because he was just a bombshell.
Just keep him on until the other bombshells come in and see if he can get coupled up,
whatever.
But if then Caleb walks in.
and Kenzie obviously goes to Caleb.
Then we've got Sean floating around this island too.
That I feel like would have been way more interesting than what I just played out
where all the bombshells get coupled up.
And then you've got Corbin or Gabrielle like looking around figuring out what's going on.
Like those are the lowest of the totem pole for dudes on this show right now for me.
And it's just not that interesting.
I kind of want to see how it plays out.
But if Sean was floating around,
I'd be like, where does Sean fit in?
That's kind of fun to figure out.
I mean, it's not as cut and dry as I thought.
it was at the very least like now that we're talking about I thought it was like we entered
this episode both of us like oh we know exactly what's going to happen I really don't know what's
going to happen now I just know where the bombshells are going to well actually I don't really
know because I don't know where Jen's going to end up yeah Jen is a question mark yeah and that's
going to be that's going to be what happens but oh it could be one of those where the audience is
like this will be funny and we pair her with like Zach yeah that actually might happen
now that I'm thinking about it.
I think I might have called it, actually.
Yeah, I think you may have called it.
Good call for you, buddy.
Vanilla paste, Zach.
Dude, I know.
And let's see if there's a good one in here.
Oh, that's for Motley Free again.
Molly Free, that's a good question.
I'll double up.
Why doesn't anyone in this cast have a personality?
I will say there are multiple people on this show
that really don't have even an ounce of charisma,
which is interesting.
There's a lot of people with a lot of charisma
and a lot of like wacky fun personalities,
but there are more than two that you're like,
you're kind of a like watching paint dry.
Like you don't have a lot of like Zach.
He talks about one direction,
which look,
I don't mind that.
Whatever.
Like that seems to be his only talking point is,
is now Taylor Swift and one direction.
And Zane being his idol because,
Jen brought it up.
Yeah, exactly.
British shit.
He talks about British shit or that.
We'll find out.
You guys will actually already know the answer to all of these things while you're listening
to this.
So just excuse us.
Yep.
But I just want to reiterate, not a gay fan.
It was just a brief window in episode six.
So make sure that's out there so people understand.
But yeah, we'll check in with you guys Sunday with the current episodes or you'll
probably get that on Monday, but that's all I got.
You got anything else?
Nope.
Well, that's our show.
Rob Bros. are out of here.
