Bros & Shows - Southern Hospitality Season 3 Premiere Full Recap (SoHo Full Recap)

Episode Date: January 8, 2025

What is up Bros? SoHo is BACK and we are stoked. This has been a personal fav of ours since it debuted a couple years ago, and this new season started off very well. We're back in Charleston and the e...pisode starts out with a montage surrounding Will and Emmy's relationship. Apparently their are some rumors circulating (again) about Will allegedly cheating while at law school. Joe Bradley and Maddi Reese are finally dating, but while their relationship improved, TJ and Joe are still very much at odds. TJ is wary of Joe Bradley and is comparing him to Trevor, Maddi's ex. We also get to dive in further to TJ's dating life and how the Charleston dating scene is difficult at best. However, he does take an interest in Republic's new assistant gm, Michols. We are introduced to Michols, a 21 year old who is the AGM that Republic has been waiting for. He seems to be very good at his job but furthermore, he has a strong first episode and we think he could be an awesome addition to this cast. Apparently he and TJ shared a kiss in an uber, but since then there has been no mention of it. TJ expresses some feelings for Michols but admits that the age gap is a concern. G Lily is still wavy baby but she no longer works at Republic, shes off jet setting the world and modeling and doing G Lily things and we're here for it. Back to Emmy and Will, multiple cast members allude to a night at Republic recently where Will got hammered and was apparently bad mouthing Emmy to the entire club. Now, we will reserve judgement until we are presented with further evidence, all we'll say is in Bravo, where there is smoke there tends to be fire... They throw a birthday pool party for Michols and TJ further mixes the signals. He also takes it upon himself to tell Maddi face to face "once a cheater, always a cheater" in regards to Joe Bradley. Joe attempts to initiate a conversation with TJ in attempts to clear the air but TJ isnt ready to have any talks yet. All in all, great start to their third season and we are pumped for more! Starting point is 00:01:15 Hi, I'm Karma. And yes, I am a bitch. Brov Bros. Good afternoon, everybody, and welcome back to another episode of Brov Bros. Your favorite podcast from The Bros for everybody. For whoever wants to listen, I'm your co-host, Steele Russell, joined as always by... one and only shooter meuter what's up dude boy am i glad soho's back on our screens what a show this is it's a great show if you're not watching it and you're listening to this just go watch it
Starting point is 00:01:42 and plus you got like two seasons to binge to catch up and they're both great and you know what there's just something about it maybe it's because we're friendlier with this crew like we know a lot of these people a little bit more than like the other shows we also started covering it from day one when they started i don't know i'm just proud to see it doing well. I'm proud that they got in the third season. They got a reunion last year. They seem to be really hitting their stride. I think people are starting to figure out how the game is played a little bit. I got the pleasure of talking to a few of these dudes at the premiere. I talked to Leva for a little bit as well at the Southern Charm premiere.
Starting point is 00:02:18 And they all said this is a great season. They're excited for us to see it. So the premiere did not disappoint at all. I was right back in. And I like I said, in our Southern Charm recap if you haven't listened to it yet i love having multiple shows in one city i like having crossovers i like having familiar faces like stroll in there's cross things happening like this person hooked up with this person from this show and said a technical show cross things yeah cross things is uh i learned that in podcasting school what was the oh crossfire Remember that game? Oh, yeah.
Starting point is 00:02:55 Yeah, that was the, you shot the little, like the little star things at each other, right? Oh, that was crossfire. Yeah, what am I thinking of? I was thinking of the matchbox game. And then they had like specific cars that would actually look like they got into a car rack. Like the doors. Oh, I remember those. Crossfire.
Starting point is 00:03:13 Crossfire. I remember the theme. So, Crossfire. Crossfire. Yeah. Wow. They don't make. Great times.
Starting point is 00:03:21 Yeah, no. Right. The internet fucking ruined everything. take me back take me back my point is i like i like having that i think that it's it's interesting i think that they have something there and i think you have enough shows and enough cities where if you wanted to do more of that like it makes sense to me like in miami you can get a show down
Starting point is 00:03:42 there there's got to be a vpr southern hospitality type of show that you could stick in miami and be interesting there's no way that you can't do that down there and then have I guess the tough part would be the crossover with the housewives going because I don't know. Yeah, I don't know, but I don't think Miami is the right. I think Charleston is the right choice for something like that. The only other cities I can think of for that would be like. Well, Salt Lake, they got sold. Really?
Starting point is 00:04:07 Honestly, for like a Venn diagram, it's basically just one big circle, but it's like Bachelor, Bachelorette destinations. So you do Charleston, Nashville, Austin, things like that I think would do well. It's the bigger cities I don't think it would do as well. Yeah, I guess you need that small town's like vibes to the people actually know. other people that makes sense but you got to agree like it's nice like i like that it adds a different dynamic a different dimension to the show but as i said this was a solid start it's a solid start uh the cast definitely is more comfortable they definitely know what's going on a little bit more we have some newcomers i don't know what mea's role is going to be because she's in trinidad no idea i'm
Starting point is 00:04:47 i was surprised that she came back to be honest i was i wasn't surprised she came back i'm surprised she came back in this capacity like is she going to be a friend of from trinidad that doesn't make a lot of sense i love me i want her on the show i just i don't see how that well i guess putting a detective hat on uh she did say that if she won she would be there for a year i'm i think you have to be there for a year if you win i don't know is miss world's because why would she be on the show if we're just going to get like face time check-ins for her when is miss worlds has it done no i had it done it i think she said she said she said she said she's there for three more weeks.
Starting point is 00:05:24 So I imagine that she'll be back in like episode two or three or something. But is she working here in public because she got fired last year. And then all we really got from her was she would hang out with her boyfriend and a boyfriend lived in like Charlotte or something. Troy. Yeah. Yeah. So it's like, all right, what are you doing here?
Starting point is 00:05:38 And I figured last season was going to be her last season. I liked her when she was on the show. I don't think she deserved to get fired. She definitely didn't deserve to get fired. But yeah, I just don't know in what capacity she's going to be on because I really did not expect to hear back. Yeah. I didn't either.
Starting point is 00:05:53 It was interesting. But the episode starts out with you got Instagram stories, montage of Emmy and Will. And we've heard this stuff before. This is nothing new. There's some more rumors out there, more allegations that he's cheating with everybody at, I don't even know what law school goes to, Clemson. Yeah, everybody and anybody. No, he's apparently allegedly hooking up with multiple people at law school.
Starting point is 00:06:20 He's being unfaithful. he went to Republic and was bad-mouthing Emmy to everybody there. It starts off with this. So what we know, and based on the backlash on social media, I guess Emmy has been going on Twitter to defend him. He deactivated his Instagram. There's a lot of shenanigans going on that make it harder to defend. She's defending it.
Starting point is 00:06:44 They're still together. They are still together. I just, I don't know, man. We're going to have to dig through a lot of. to live, going through law school and then having to do that. We're just going to have to dig through a lot of stuff and figure out what's going on or to our best, I don't know, inkling. I have no idea.
Starting point is 00:07:02 I really don't. I think that the old adage will always ring true where there's smoke, there's fire, and there seems to be a shitload of smoke. We haven't even seen what's happening yet. We just got a little, like, blurb in the beginning. It's like, ooh. There's smoke and there's sparks down there somewhere, and there's a lot of oxygen didn't get into that fire.
Starting point is 00:07:22 You know what I mean? It just sounds like a lot of shit. And then you see how they interact with one another. We talked about this last year. It's like she's gung-ho about like, boop, boop, this is what we're doing. I can't wait for asking her if this wears my ring. He always placates. He's never ever been like, fuck, yeah, dude, can't wait.
Starting point is 00:07:39 He's always like, yeah, we'll see. Or like, ah, ha, ha, ha, how's your chips? Like, he always changes the subject. And I think that's a red flag. And I like Will. I do. But I just don't, I don't know, man. where there's smoke, there's fire.
Starting point is 00:07:52 I will reserve judgment until we get into the season. I also know that this is a group that likes to talk a lot of shit. There's always rumors going around, which is also what makes this a great show. But you have to put on, as Shooter said, your detective hat,
Starting point is 00:08:08 and we have to dig through the nonsense and we'll see what we come up with. But I'm not going to jump to judgment yet. I also like Emmy and Will, so it's harder. We're just going to have to put that aside and give the people our honest take. And look, I'll call, like I see it.
Starting point is 00:08:23 So for now, I will say flat out, there appears to be a lot of smoke. Okay. Yeah, I think that's fair. I would like to focus on something funny that Will said in this first scene. Uh-oh. Go for it. He's working a nine to five, so he's really tired. Oh, yeah, bro.
Starting point is 00:08:41 What? Like, I'm sleepy. I have a job. Like, what? fuck you oh god that was great oh my god you can't jump in the ocean before work
Starting point is 00:08:54 that sounds refreshing and lovely I think that would wake me up no he's working a nine to five you don't know how exhausted I am working like a normal human being no I will say I'm sure being a law intern is probably more taxing than most nine to fives I just assume it suits
Starting point is 00:09:08 you're like 24 bro like what do you do it he's older he's I think he's closer to 30 is he yeah he's older he's one of the older in the group I think he was 27 on the first I could be wrong I think he's close.
Starting point is 00:09:19 He's late 20s and potentially 30. Damn. You know, he probably is tired. Don't go to a loss. A little bit later in life. Yeah, you're going to be sleepy.
Starting point is 00:09:28 He's CBCB boy. He is sleepy. He is sleepy. Just sleepy. We can chalk all of this up to. He's just sleepy. Yeah. He's cheating.
Starting point is 00:09:38 He's tired there. How is he going to cheat when he's just so tired? You can't get mad. He's look at him. He's falling asleep over there. I don't know. He's probably at Republic. He's like,
Starting point is 00:09:47 yeah, this is my one night of week that I get to have a couple of beers of really sleepy so like three beers really fucks me up and my girlfriend's over here trying to get me to work out in the morning go to barry's boot camp what is this summer house i'm not going to barry's boot camp one day i'm going to drag i'm going to surprise you and be like yo we're going to this great bar and it's going to be a barry's boot camp i didn't know i was fucking dating carl she's not drinking she's going to barry's boot camp i don't want to do it fuck this she sucks but uh we get to republic and
Starting point is 00:10:18 And we immediately address, because it was on the reunion last year, and we'd heard about it as well, Emmy's promotion, her short-lived promotion to assistant general manager, I guess, I don't know how true this is, but I guess the AGM position was for somewhere down the street. They're opening up a new spot. They wanted her over there. She didn't want to leave her public, so she took the demotion back to the VIP server. I don't know. I don't think we're ever going to get the end of that one. I don't know how that would work. Look, I think that she was trying to be, yeah, she probably doesn't want to leave her public because.
Starting point is 00:10:48 because all of her friends are there and nobody else was leaving. But it's also very show-centric. Like, what are we going to do now? We're going to have cameras down there just watching any do her job. Yeah, right. Around her friends who are on the show anymore. Like, I don't want to watch that. Maybe they were thinking, like, oh, we can branch out and have two restaurants in this,
Starting point is 00:11:03 but that's just too many people. Too much to follow. Yeah, I don't like it. It does introduce us to Michaels, the new AGM, who is 21, which even I was like, wow, good for him. That can't be easy to get an assistant general manager role of a club at that. age and this dude drops the hammer you don't take no shit and i think that was smart to hire out you got to hire outside of the house you can't you can't hire one of those idiots to do
Starting point is 00:11:27 the job well the last time they hired out of the house was not great but that was she is he on the show now is he off he got the boot yeah that guy that's fair oh we're not going to see the milk videos anymore like what am i going to do fuck I don't get to see milk getting poured over a cheetah print thong damn it you know what fuck this show I'm done I don't want to watch it anymore so I watch it that's why I watch it yeah so I want to see the milk man maybe he moved on it's too lucrative yeah maybe that was it but we get the skinny on tj and jay and joey bottles and we heard and we're still discussing the Luann drama and they haven't spoken in four months.
Starting point is 00:12:19 I'm assuming that's from the reunion. They haven't talked since then. And he, J.T. TJ, there's too many JTJs on these fucking shows, bro. There's way too many. One of them has to go. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:12:32 Not, I like TJ on this show. Potomac TJ can fuck right off. Yeah. T.J. D. can stay i like him but tj says like full 100% yes he hooked up with the win like i know that to be true so i gave him the opportunity to fess up come clean about it he didn't do that we saw the dms right the funniest part is that we i guess i don't know how funny it is for him but we
Starting point is 00:12:59 were in new york this is when we were on watch what happens live joe and louan filmed like three hours before we did and we went out with joe like two nights later yeah and like amidst like the page six thing dropped and like we're out with them i'm like oh fuck like what happened it's like oh dude don't worry about it so yeah i don't know look it seems like tj he knows what that what happened it looks like it is right now the joe daniel relationship was probably one of the dumbest things i've ever seen in my life even seeing it in person that's that wasn't fucking real that was well it was short-lived it was very short-lived it was very It didn't make any sense.
Starting point is 00:13:39 I don't think they were actually really dating. Maybe Danielle did, but I don't think Joe thought they were actually dating. Is TJ friends with Danielle? Because that would make more sense as to why he threw Joe. I'm not saying that TJ's in the wrong. But as you start to hear more about this, like they talk about it later and Joe is like, look, I told him that. He said he was going to take it to the grave. He's his best friend.
Starting point is 00:13:59 So he assumed that he would. He ended up snitching on him. So there's something to be said about that. On the reunion. Where it's like, ooh, if he's going to be. you said you're going to take it to the grave and he'd throw him under the bus like yeah joe's the one that fucked up but that's also kind of fucked up so can't you at least find common ground in the middle somewhere to be like hey let's move on from this i get it
Starting point is 00:14:18 after seeing the dms that joe sent which i'd imagine was probably under the influence when he sent them if i received those dms from somebody i would be very very hesitant to move on with them in any way shape or form so i get it i'm just curious who's going to because i don't know will they be able to mend it will they not they were friends for a long time i love that drama that i love though this is it's just so funny to me so good the entire thing is so goddamn funny the fact that luan i know of roni like o g roni luan de la seps the countess herself has infiltrated a show of 20 somethings because she hooked up with one of the VIP servers is fucking awesome but also why luan lives in infamy she is one of the greatest of all time and will forever be because
Starting point is 00:15:05 she is still relevant on Southern hospitality. And also all of the women on the show all say how cool it would be if he did hook up with her. Even his current girlfriend says that would be sick if he did hook up with her. It's iconic. Now, I will say this one thing for TJ, and he keeps saying, like, I gave you the opportunity to come clean. That's not an opportunity. That's a fucking ambush. It's an ambush.
Starting point is 00:15:27 You can't do it at the reunion. The opportunity would have been before the reunion if you pulled Joe aside and said, hey, I think you should come clean about the Luan thing here because they're going to ask you questions. And when they ask me, I might not be able to contain myself. You preface it that way, that's an opportunity to come clean. Like, hey, just letting you know, it might be tough for me to lie. So you might want to do it before I do that.
Starting point is 00:15:49 That's an opportunity to come clean. Putting him on blast on TV is an ambush. That is not an opportunity. It was an ambush. It was an ambush. Yeah. And look, you're in the business of drama. I get it.
Starting point is 00:16:00 That's fine. Maybe you're pissed off at him. You guys were going through it. I don't blame him for the move. It's a great move if that's what you're trying to do for reality TV, yeah. But you can't then be 100% the victim when you instigated after telling him you take it to the grave. That's all I'm saying. But we'll see how that way.
Starting point is 00:16:15 I would imagine they find their way back at some point. Joe initiates the conversation. TJ wasn't ready. That happens later on. Yeah, yeah. But, you know, they're friends for a long time. So hopefully they figure it out. But this is when we sit down with Will and Emmy.
Starting point is 00:16:29 Will's back from law school. she's asking about a baby like when he putting a baby in me she's talking about the ring again she's doing that in the confession all that stuff and again when you look at his responses and this is what happened last year
Starting point is 00:16:44 I think it's really interesting in telling because obviously she's been on this fitness kick this journey she's sober for eight months her life's changing a lot she's got different priorities she's still very set on you're going to law school we're going to get married
Starting point is 00:16:58 I'll have babies that's what she wants okay great but every single time that the conversation presents itself we are always met with a confessional from will where he's like concerned about something about her or concerned about his time management at law school or concerned about his dad's law firm and concerned about the nine to five he's never like yeah you know he's going to get these ducks in a row so we can move forward with our life there's always something to placate with where he's concerned it's never matching her energy we have yet to see that one time I think that's a red flag for me. I do think that he was in. I don't know about the other stuff.
Starting point is 00:17:35 I do think that enough people have said that he was in Republic talking shit, that he was in Republic talking shit. I think we can agree on that one. So enough people have said it and it sounds like something he would do, especially after what we've seen. Like wasted will? Yes. Yeah, for sure.
Starting point is 00:17:50 And he's back from law school. He's doing this and that. He's just trying to get it all out in the middle of probably just trying to relax from his nine to five. And yeah, I can see that in a heartbeat. Wow. I think that happens. I think that it's going to be interesting to watch,
Starting point is 00:18:03 especially knowing they're still together, especially knowing she's defending him on socials. I think it'll be interesting to watch what's happening throughout the season, to see if we can see where there's a rift, if you can see which way we're going to lean on this whole thing. That's too early to tell. But I do think that we can pretty much say that, yes,
Starting point is 00:18:22 he was probably talking some shit in Republic, right? Starting point is 00:20:24 But we move on. We get TJ and me. this is the FaceTime where we get to hear about her moving to Trinidad to become this world. She's competing. She's eating like 400 calories a day from what it sounds like, which sounds horrible. She looks great. But she looked great before. Like you didn't need the crash diet.
Starting point is 00:20:43 That made me hungry listening to it. It's like three egg whites and a cup of spinach. Usually I get hungry when people are talking about food that I really like. Right. I got hungry. I don't even know how to phrase it. It's like the absence of hunger. yeah starvation you're hungry i'm hungry yeah me too they're discussing this emmy stuff where
Starting point is 00:21:04 we heard that will was bad mouth here behind her back and tj wants to talk to him or talk to emmy or just talk to both of them i'm not entirely sure but mia jumps in she tried to have this conversation last year with emmy where she was concerned about things because we heard about him going into the bathroom with another woman which was confirmed but the story was he was helping her with something. No, they were talking about like, what was it?
Starting point is 00:21:33 Somebody that they knew that passed away and they were like both sat about it. Emotional. So they went to the bathroom. Which you know what? If things were being filmed and we saw, like it was something that we had seen on TV. It wasn't filmed.
Starting point is 00:21:46 I know I'm saying. That's usually a move that you pull when you, you want to get emotional off camera. You go to the bathroom because they're not going to film you there. They might film on the outside with just the audio, but they weren't being filmed. So there's no leg to stand on here. You don't do that.
Starting point is 00:21:59 No, it's very strange. So Mia gives him a warning. You know, you might want to do this, TJ. I don't think it's going to work out. I don't think that's the hardest part of this is even if our shenanigans afoot. Yeah. I don't think anybody will be able to say the right thing to crack through. I think also because of all the speculation, they've almost built up armor around themselves over the past couple of seasons.
Starting point is 00:22:20 So they're like, oh, here we go again. Here we go again. I don't know. Dude, it's messy. It's very messy. It's really messy, but G. Lily and Maddie, they're friends again, which is nice. I actually like that she is no longer working at Republic. Usually I don't like when people leave.
Starting point is 00:22:38 I think that a free floating G. Lily is where she's going to thrive. I had the same thought, right? I don't need her bog down with trivial bullshit at the bar. I need her being wavy baby everywhere always all the time. That's the level. That was one of the things early on, I remember, when she was an interview. girl part of the show i didn't think that she had what it took to do that because you can't like yes i don't think that she can ever turn off her personality but where we saw her last year was a
Starting point is 00:23:05 really good transition season for her from the the party that she threw the fairy tale in the woods to just kind of being the person that mattie would talk to and you get like information because they're still really close that's where her role is perfect so if she wants to go do her own thing off camera and then she pops in here and again if she's just going to be a friend of that would be perfect i i'm going to miss who i don't think is on the show is mackle no he's not he was great yeah he was great at tv now he's on like a like a spiritual journey with uh with his church i believe yeah he's he's like good for really different lifestyle yeah i want him to thrive we love mckell so hopefully he's doing well but yeah he will be missed on this show definitely um i do think
Starting point is 00:23:47 that grace being outside of the restaurant itself is going to play better for her even if she She is more of a mainstay than we think she's going to be. I just think that that's where she's going to thrive, whether it's modeling, shoots, or party, whatever the fuck it is. I think that we will be able to maybe not relate to her more, but enjoy what she brings to the show more. So I'm glad that she's doing her own thing, apparently modeling and jet setting off into God knows where.
Starting point is 00:24:13 But good for her. Yeah, do your thing. Who gives a fuck? But she talks about, she went on a little spiritual awakening. everyone's doing it if you look everybody if you haven't done ayahuasca yet you're a big fat loser because everybody that's cool is doing ayahuasca and talking to jesus and bob marley you could oh man i wonder if in the vision like jesus was bob marley yeah bob marley was talking to her and then he just started to form into jesus right and like it's when she was ready marley jesus it's just the
Starting point is 00:24:49 introduction it's a it's a face that you feel familiar with and it's bob marley and you're talking to him for a little while yeah and then you know when you're ready because you had enough conversation with bob he morphs into jesus and it's actually jesus and it just shows that jesus is all of us that would be i like that you just hear like something in the background like the the steel drums start playing Bavis and yeah Grace and then boom that whole thing happens That's what we see
Starting point is 00:25:18 Potomac does reenactments Yeah of drunk driving Why can't we get an ayahuasca trip With Jesus and Bob Marley Got I wish the other hospitality Had more production value We could have gotten that That would have been an amazing scene
Starting point is 00:25:34 I feel like we really missed out there But We get confirmation that Joe and Maddie are dating now we've known about this i think most people have known about this hasn't really been a secret they've been palling around together everywhere so they're officially dating now the the verbiage in which mattie discusses it is a little alarming just because she says things like i know this man's in love with me yeah okay it's a weird way to say it but all right whatever you guys seem and i saw them like together like they do seem genuinely happy i'm not going to throw shade at their
Starting point is 00:26:08 relationship and this is also filmed a while ago. And she's also post Trevor, which again, we could have told you that. If you're going to date a dickhead from the main line like that, you're probably going to have a bad time, especially if he is a trust fund baby as a bike taxi guy in Charleston. So color me shocked, that one didn't work out. But she got out of that relationship. So maybe it's just hesitancy getting into this one with Joe, or maybe it's like the realization of, I know this dude's head over heels. So if we do this, it's probably going to be like a real thing for a while. I don't know. I think it's, I think most of it is the the friendship risk reward that you don't want to lose that friendship there's
Starting point is 00:26:45 been so much going on and she even says that where she thought about it in the past but you know she wasn't really ready to do that and one shitty relationship could push you to that point it could let me go with somebody who knows me really well and that's why like all the discourse and we get into this a little bit later the discourse about joe potentially cheating on her that's where mattie telling us well i know that he won't because he's in love with me i believe it because we've seen it For now two, two and a half years of this, he is deeply in love with her. And he will not do anything like that to her because he, we might be able to, hopefully we're not on the wrong set of history with this shit.
Starting point is 00:27:17 But I don't want to be. I'll defend it. No. First of what we love, we love Joey Bottles. Yeah. First of foremost, second, I don't think that he would do that. No. You know, everyone loves to.
Starting point is 00:27:27 Why? Because he cheated on Danielle. That wasn't real. Can everybody get over it? I agree. That was too short to live to like be living on three weeks. still living on the fact that we're still discussing it to this day it's like yes it was fucked up absolutely whether it's three weeks three months three years if you cheat you cheat
Starting point is 00:27:44 I agree but they were not in was that cheating they weren't boyfriend and girlfriend they were just know how it's my whole point so yeah the whole point being why are we still talking about it it's four months after the fact here like this is a timeline I do know it's four months later like it let's move on I understand TJ saying a cheater's a cheaters a or like that old adage. I get what you're saying, because TJ's known him longer where it's like what he's cheated on.
Starting point is 00:28:12 He named like, it sounded like the Mambo number five, just naming chicks. It's like, cheated on her, she didn't on her, cheated on her. Okay,
Starting point is 00:28:19 fine, great. Yes, that's cause for concern. But this is somebody that he has been chasing around for a year, has been madly in love with.
Starting point is 00:28:27 So we hope that a tiger can change his stripes. We hope that he's going to do better. I, and again, maybe we're pulling the wool over our own eyes here, but I believe it. I think that he's going to show up and then not step out on this one. But again, what concerns me, and I guess it's hard to say it because they're still together now.
Starting point is 00:28:48 This is a while ago. But her saying things like, you know, I was more into Trevor than he was into me, which is maybe, and then she says, maybe the opposite is what I need for right now. And I didn't know if that meant, even like the right now, like, well, no, because that to me says, like, okay, in the place that I'm at, I'm still working through my past relationship, trying to get comfortable with this new one. So for right now, he's more into me and that's okay, because I need that right now, or I need the opposite where my partner is as into me as I am. I don't think it was that one. I think it was Joe's more into me, and that's what I need right now. The right now actually makes me less hesitant because at least she's acknowledging like, okay,
Starting point is 00:29:32 I can move past this and then I can be like, okay, well, maybe that's just Trevor residuals where she's working through some shit because I'm trying to find reasons to not think negatively. Yeah. That sounds reasoning. I like it. Yeah,
Starting point is 00:29:47 right? That's not too bad. But she does say that she might be getting to a point with Joe Bradley where she needs to pump the brakes a little bit. And yeah, they can get the scene where they're playing pickleball later. And he's saying like, oh, I want to play with my future wife.
Starting point is 00:30:00 Okay, if it's coming on a little strong, I get it. But again, you kind of knew what you're getting into with this dude because he's been so head over heels for a while. So it'll be interesting to watch their relationship develop over this season, I think. But I get Bradley and T.J. Love Bradley, glad he's back. I'm curious what he's going to bring to this season. When I talked to him at the premiere, he said that it was a better season for him.
Starting point is 00:30:24 He stayed out of the bullshit. He's still involved, but he learned his lesson with the dumpster scene. My problem with Brad has never been that he's involved in the bullshit. My problem with Brad is that every year, it seems like he just has a new romance story. And it's like, I know, but like, I hate that guy. And I like Brad, but that guy is a character on a show. I just don't need it. And it seems like he starts to do it again.
Starting point is 00:30:48 And I got a little cautious with Lake. Like, with Lake, yep. I don't want to see that. I want Brad to be his own person and not a storyline of, yeah, I'm just having a really good time. Just dating this person, dating this person. This last season ended and he was dating. I don't even remember her name anymore. Oh, yeah.
Starting point is 00:31:05 Yeah, yeah, I figured about that. And then nothing came of it. So, like, I don't want to see that. That's not a storyline for me. I want him actually to meaningfully get involved in the bullshit, not just, you know, anything else. And, yeah, I mean, look, first episode, season three, we're still talking about the dumpster blowjob, which. Yeah, I know. Thank God.
Starting point is 00:31:23 We can never get away from that. It is one of the funniest things ever. Dumpster BJs live forever. Everybody knows that. If you're going to risk getting, getting won by a dumpster, you got a risk that people are going to talk about it might be on your tombstone it could be remember the dumpster that old dumpster blowjob oh d bj that's what they call those but uh tj's talking about the dating scene in charleston as a gay man and i would imagine it's probably tough it's a small
Starting point is 00:31:50 dating pool you're in the south so it's got to be a little tougher i'd imagine that as he says there's only one gay bar so you probably know most of the gay dudes in charleston he did have a little thing with Michael's little sparks flew there and look they're two very very attractive dudes i would love to see that pairing i think that they fit except michael's is 21 years old still in college i do get where he's coming from where you know michael's i think he asked him to go out to dinner one night and then he's like but i got class tomorrow and i think that turned j t or tj off a little bit we hear later though that there was a smooch in an uber yep and they got to TJ's house.
Starting point is 00:32:31 TJ was like, all right, peace and bounced. Then we also have to talk about like all the mixed signals later and all that. But I do like that, you know, we're getting more from TJ already
Starting point is 00:32:40 because I like TJ. I always have, but I feel like his main role for so long has been another voice and an argument with two other people. Like that was what he did. Like two people are arguing,
Starting point is 00:32:50 oh, TJ comes over the top to say something about that. Yeah, I think that's a good picture of pretty much what he's been doing for the first two seasons. And I will say,
Starting point is 00:32:58 too, Obviously, we get very much so misinformation from TJ when he's talking about Michaels and he's talking about all the things that they were doing. And he's like, yeah, you know, there was a little flirtation there. And I asked him out the dinner and he had class the next day and I realized he was 21. Michael's asked him out of dinner. I thought TJ asked him out of dinner. No, no, no, no, no.
Starting point is 00:33:15 Michael's asked him out of dinner. Yep. Oh, okay. All right. Can't go against the notebook. But he, yeah, so that happened. And it seems like he just kind of wrote it off. Obviously not.
Starting point is 00:33:24 And we get more about that. My concern with that is we have not gotten to meet Michael's. yeah i don't want him immediately just thrown into some like weird mixed signal relationship going on immediately i want him to be his own person because i think there's a lot there i do too and not only is he one he's really good at his job which we don't see on these shows we've never see the shit when he came over and he yelled at uh at tj and who was a tj and sat or no it was he you got time to lean you got time to clean yeah like we've never heard that we don't hear that on these shows so he's actually a good manager he cares about his job and we saw em he care
Starting point is 00:33:59 about her job last year and she got rewarded for it but michaels is already there he's already shiny he's already doing everything he's 21 years old i don't want to see him get bogged down immediately by some weird mixed signal thing going on here because tj's got enough going on with joe that's enough over there i don't need this involved as well i want michael's to kind of like kind of hit his stride yeah figure out how it works and then keep going because i think he's got great potential i do too i think he's going to be a good asset to this show uh i've enjoyed everything we've gotten from him in one episode. But they end the conversation,
Starting point is 00:34:30 talking about Joe and Maddie, and T.J. Likens him to Trevor, which is, that's tough. That's a tough comparison. I don't agree with it. I don't,
Starting point is 00:34:39 I get what he's saying as far as the cheating goes and stuff like that. I do think they're different in how they carry themselves, how they present themselves. Trevor just screams douchebag. Like we said that from day one. We didn't get to know the guy. He was on one episode. He didn't even know he was in Philly.
Starting point is 00:34:52 Fuck this guy. We found out he was from Philly and it just bummed us out even more we don't claim that at all but the big thing he says is he'll never leave her but he will cheat and i think that the hardest part of whether or not they're going to come back together and have a friendship is joe's going to watch this shit and be like what the fuck man like you can't be saying this stuff like putting that out there because we know how small towns work you know how rumor mills work you start saying things like that and that then turns into hey did you hear joe cheated already and it's like well whoa did he or people saying he's going to cheat
Starting point is 00:35:32 i just think it's a it's a messy game to play it that way where he's talking to everybody but joe telling everybody that he's going to do what he did before because cheater's cheater's going to cheat that whole thing so again i really like tj i like that he's more involved this season i want him to be more involved i'm curious where it's going to go i just think that when you have so many scenes and we've seen it across the board in any bravo show any reality show when you see a bunch of people talking shit to a bunch of other people continuously but they refuse to talk to the main person it very rarely ends up well and very rarely ends up in a friendship i think the funniest thing is too with this show taking place in charleston
Starting point is 00:36:14 you can just watch southern charm and realize that this shit is going to continue for another 20 years so no matter what you do you're never going to get out of it there's always going to to be rumors yeah yeah regardless look at austin look at ship look at all of those all of them they're pushing 40 and 50 and it's still happening and i don't think that's just reality tv i i would wager to say that charleston's probably just like that just a small town but those type of people yeah yeah that that's what it strikes me as but we get to meet michael's a little bit more about them the management role we we find out quickly he really doesn't fuck around takes his job very seriously i would be remiss not to point out and i know this is a move
Starting point is 00:36:52 It's a good. It's not a bad move. You know, TJ brings him coffee and then changes his shirt in the same room and you got that shot of Michael's checking him out. So yes, there's clearly chemistry there. There's definitely something there. But that's where it's so funny to hear the conversation that Michael's has. He's like, the fuck is this about. He's like, what are you talking about? He bought me a coffee. They're like, drink it. He's like, fuck that. What does this mean? I get it. I like that it's like the overdramatization of coming in there and being like, like, Like, my heart's fucking pounding. Are you okay? Is it caffeine? No, it's because TJ got it for me. Well, what the fuck happened there? He kissed me in an Uber. What the hell?
Starting point is 00:37:30 Yeah. No, he's getting me coffee and he doesn't want to be with me. What are we? Yeah, what is this? What is this Dunkin' Donuts that he bought me? I don't know what this cup of coffee represents. Starbucks. My bad.
Starting point is 00:37:40 They're gay in Charleston. They drink Starbucks. That's what they say. So, yeah, okay, fine. I just, I love the breakdown of it. I love the overanalyzing of what this coffee means. I love the refusal to drink. the coffee because what that would say
Starting point is 00:37:54 I love I love the translation that Emmy has to give Maddie where Maddie's very confused and she's like just drink the fucking coffee what's the fucking drink no no no that's way more than coffee Maddie okay is it what does this latte stand
Starting point is 00:38:10 for it played so perfectly for us watching at home too because like if you were a little confused about what it meant don't worry Emmy and Michaels are going to break it down we can all be Maddie and be like just drink the fucking coffee man what yeah although I did No, it was very weird because you hear that. And we didn't know that they had kissed an Uber at this point.
Starting point is 00:38:27 So we're just like, okay, yeah, there's flirtation there. No, we did. T.J. told us they did. No, not until this scene. We didn't find out about the kissing the Uber until Michael's told us. Yeah. No, because T.J. had, all we knew from T.J. was that they were going to go out to dinner.
Starting point is 00:38:41 That was it. There was no kiss yet. First and foremost, watch your tone. You're talking to your guy all wrong. I'm telling you. No, right here, Bradley and T. DJ excited about Michael's got drunk and kissed him in an Uber and then bounced. Ah, fuck.
Starting point is 00:38:58 That kind of throws the whole thing out for me. Yeah, you could shut up. Fucking notebook. But either way, it was perfect for us at home because we get, all of us get to be Maddie, even though we knew that that was more than a coffee because we watched these shows. Oh, yeah. To the lay person who's just watching this show just to have a good time, maybe you're like, oh, you got a coffee, isn't that nice?
Starting point is 00:39:18 That's kind of funny. It needs a lot more. No. Yeah. yeah that are you going to date me that's what that coffee means where's this going so i thought it was a great scene and again big points for michael's because that was very entertaining he handles himself well he walks in says i'm internally shitting myself like if i drink the coffee i'm gonna shit myself i'm like why what happened is it a laxative in there it's like no it's what this coffee
Starting point is 00:39:42 i thought he was having a hard time with the caffeine yeah i thought that he was having a panic i even wrote down panic attack question mark no no it's whether or not to drink this cup of coffee because of what it means. And look, that's valid. So I think he's going to be a great addition. And we get introduced to two more. You get Lake,
Starting point is 00:39:58 who's a new server. And you get Austin, who lifts logs in the woods. Sure does. Yep. And that's all I really know about him. No notes on that. No,
Starting point is 00:40:08 he just, that's what we got. He's lifting logs in the woods. Hey, they teach their own. No king chaming here. But we get to pickleball. And it's our first,
Starting point is 00:40:17 like, real scene with like Joe and Maddie being a couple, being cutesy, shit like that you get to the confessional and joey bottles is like mattie agreed to love me back i'm like oof come on bro tough it's tough not doing itself any favors yeah but that's where you get like they're talking as they go on the court he's like you know a lot of guys play pickleball get away from their wives i want to play with my future wife and i'm like oh she just said that
Starting point is 00:40:42 she might want to pump the brakes hopefully this isn't the reason why hopefully we don't see that happen we'll see what it plays out but emmy and will show up it's a double date Joe and Will, not the best pickleballers, which is not surprising. I will say, though, this is probably the best example of how well pickleball can be played that we've seen on Bravo. That's a good point. Yeah, there was competitive rallies. Tennis and no one has ever been any good.
Starting point is 00:41:08 So it's good to see a little competitive spirit here and a little athleticism for the love of God. And for people like me, it was really funny to hear Maddie's say, of course I'm good at pickleball. The amount of time I spent in rehab, you know, I could have ping pong? I knew you were going to love that. I was like, fuck, yeah. That's all we can do. There's no TVs or anything.
Starting point is 00:41:26 So it's ping pong cards and talking about your feelings. So yeah, you get to be really good. Whenever we play ping pong and you're like, yeah, yeah, I played a lot of this in the minors. It's like, you played it somewhere else too, didn't you, buddy? Yeah, I played in multiple places. Yeah. All with only dudes. Same thing.
Starting point is 00:41:41 Yeah. So, yeah, you get really good at pickleball in the minor leagues and in rehab because of ping pong. That was valid. So this whole scene was. was it's just I'm having a hard time reading because I'm not focused
Starting point is 00:41:56 on Joe and Maddie I'm like you guys are going to be fine you guys are finally dating yay it's fun to see whatever I'm so focused on Will and how he's talking and like all he's saying is how much he misses everybody
Starting point is 00:42:08 how much he misses Republic how much he wants to be around everybody and I I don't know does he miss the night life does he miss is he pissed because he has a nine five now and he sees these guys are still doing their thing like what what does it mean what is
Starting point is 00:42:25 will i can't usually i'm good at like analyzing people and i think i haven't figured out i hope i don't i think i do yeah it's just every time i see him in these moments and everything like he's so focused on how weird it is that joe and mattie are together which yeah ha ha it's probably weird to see him like that it just keeps talking about republic talking about republic but the last time you went to republic you went in and skewered your girlfriend like that's Yeah, weird. Yeah, do you think he misses working at Republic or is it more misses being a part? Like, you're still part of the show.
Starting point is 00:42:56 I know that the show kind of throws a wrench in all of that, but yeah, like, it did resonate with me when he said, yeah, it is really weird that I go away to law school. I come back and everything's changed. Like, that makes sense. That's what happens. You go away to college. You got friends that stay home. Things change.
Starting point is 00:43:10 I mean, obviously, you're still texting and talking to people and you're seeing Annie all the time because she's driving up to see you, but it's not the same. So you come back to Republic. Everybody's still having a great time. they're talking about their drama you want to be involved in it and you feel a little left out i think that's really all it is at least that's what i got from this scene i don't know where him and emmy stand at all this gave me no insight into that it no but that's what i'm afraid is that we're not going to get that like they're so walled off guarded yeah i mean i just don't know
Starting point is 00:43:39 the wall is going to fall at some point they're going to have to i don't know with this group the way that they talk and the way that things happen like once once the tj and joe shit over in a couple of episodes, they're all just going to turn their focused Emmy and Will. Yeah, or else they wouldn't have started the season off with that little snippet. Yeah, I guess you're right. The Twisted Tale of Amanda Knox is an eight-episode Hulu Original Limited series
Starting point is 00:44:21 that blends gripping pacing with emotional complexity, offering a dramatized look as it revisits the wrongful conviction of Amanda Knox for the tragic murder of Meredith Kircher and the relentless media storm that followed. The twisted tale of Amanda Knox
Starting point is 00:44:38 is now streaming only on Disney Plus. Tim's new scrambled egg loaded croissant or is it croissant no matter how you say it start your day with freshly cracked scrambled eggs loaded on a buttery flaky croissant try it with maple brown butter today at timbs at participating restaurants in canada for a limited time they get into tj and joe and joe says that he made out just fucking cop to it dude like you you banged luan all right you point my bad yeah we're not we're gentlemen here you boinked luan like just say it at this point man he doesn't give a shit like just saying, I told TJ we made out. It's like, I don't think that you just made out. No, that's okay. Nobody does. Not one person thinks he does.
Starting point is 00:45:22 Like, come on, dude, just fucking say it already. But that's where we find out that he told TJ that in confidence. TJ said he would take it to the grave. So I get why Joe is upset a little bit. I do not think that warranted the messages that he sent TJ. I think that to bridge this gap, and as we see it later when they're talking at the pool party, to bridge that gap, Joe is going to have. to take the accountability of the messages were fucked up i was fucked up my bad went too far went
Starting point is 00:45:50 too low i was react whatever i think that's the first step if you want to fix this but i do think that there is something to be said about the fact that you said you would take this to the grave next thing joe knows we're at the reunion and you're calling them out yeah that's very different and it's also not a chance to come clean like you said if that's the case preface hey dude I'm going to call this out tonight, be ready, or a million other things. Giving you time to prep for it. So you're not completely blindsided. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:46:21 Right. And I'm not taking Joe's side here. I do think the message were fucked up. I understand why TJ's upset. I get all of it. I just think that now knowing that he said, I'm going to take this to the grave and then did not actually ambushed him with it. I'm like, okay, well, I can at least understand why Joe's mad.
Starting point is 00:46:36 And look, if we were in a situation and we can live in a hypothetical world for a second here, if Joe didn't send those messages, I do see. still think that TJ would be icing Joe out saying, I gave him an opportunity to come clean and he's not coming clean. So I'm not going to be with him. I still think he would do that. I think he's falling on, well, he sent me those messages and they were fucked up so that everybody else can see like, yeah, no, those messages were definitely fucked up. And it kind of blinds what TJ did. But at the end of the day, what TJ did is fucked up too. So, you know, you can't be in a great place with a friend and call yourself best friends that you've known each other for a long time
Starting point is 00:47:08 and then pull a stunt like that and not expect Joe to be pissed. What Joe did is an excuse usable, but he still has a right to be pissed about it. And that's what TJ's not taking ownership for. And he wants, and so does Brad, because we've seen Brad in the past. He doesn't really like Joe to begin with, but he's going to take on that side. You can't do that and expect Joe to take full responsibility without you taking responsibility for what you did in the first place, because you can't just say, I gave you an opportunity.
Starting point is 00:47:34 Giving somebody an opportunity on TV on a reality TV reunion is not an opportunity. That's very different. It's very different. And TJ's smart, too. so he knows what he's doing, but still. Yeah, and I think it's going to be interesting. And I just, it's hard because of the way that he's going about it, I think. That's the toughest part because I get what he's doing.
Starting point is 00:47:56 I get he's upset. I get he's pissed off. I get he's venting to his friends, which everybody does. But when you go to Will and say, I'm mad at you for being friends with Joe, that's going to reflect poorly on you, even if everyone thinks Joe's an asshole. It's still going to look bad. So I just, his approach, maybe he's just, really upset and that's why he's kind of handling it this way it'll be interesting to see
Starting point is 00:48:18 how this just shakes out but but he goes to the will who's not there will is at law school so right you know he's not like yeah like again you can go to brad you can go to other people but you're not going to mattie and saying you know how are you going to like if he's started in which he kind of starts to at the end of the episode but if he went to maddie before all of this and said i can't believe you're dating joe when he sent me those messages then it's like all right dude like enough but you're going to that's when you start to cross some lines yeah talking to his girlfriend and he's already starting across the lines yeah yeah and to me we'll wait to we get there we'll wait till we get there but we get to the party and the setup and it was very funny
Starting point is 00:48:54 watching joe and mattie as soon as they said don't let the balloons fly away i'm like these balloons are going to fly away at some point there's no way these balloons make it to the party they did not and it's a good lesson okay for what happens after that leave balloons inside well first yeah that's obvious but more so like when she's upset about it and she's crying about it and saying we're worked so hard on these balloons and all this and Joe's like trying to rationalize a situation too they're just balloons whatever it's like and dev and i had this conversation one time because she was upset and i was talking to her i was trying to like solution the thing you know and i think that it's a good lesson sometimes what your partner needs is just event sesh they don't want input they want
Starting point is 00:49:33 you to sit there and go yep that sucks i'm sorry i'm on your team to the point where there has been times and like obviously that doesn't bend very often at all as you know but there have been times i'm like do you want my input or do you have to ask yes so i know like what do you need from me here like what can i do boyfriend boneheaded mistake that yeah every boyfriend in the world has probably gone through you just can't rationalize there's no solution orientation here it's not like although he didn't say we can just run back down to party city and get more he did eventually said i'll go i'll go get balloons and she's like there's no time Time. It takes ootics.
Starting point is 00:50:12 Well, he started off blaming her for crying. He's like, why are you crying? It's not like that's always a bad approach. Yeah, though, she did. You just went down to party city and got those like a couple of hours ago. Don't do that, Joe. I don't do that, Joe. That's a bad approach to say, you're right.
Starting point is 00:50:27 I'm sorry. I fucked up. Look, let's go get. I could have been in that position too, and I could have done the exact same thing. But watching somebody else do it, you're obviously going to know every single mistake they're going to make. Yeah, yeah. Just nod your head. Just nod your head.
Starting point is 00:50:40 say i'm sorry for losing your balloons yep and figure out a way to fix it or don't but just you know be a shoulder to or a ear to to listen in that moment so it's a good lesson for uh for everybody out there sometimes your partner just needs to bet they don't need uh they don't need a fix a fix they just need to bet yeah but everybody shows up to the party uh tj just flat out ignores joe upon his arrival and the minute that michael's walks in t j orders him a spicy mark So again, lots of, I'm on Michael's side here. Yeah, a lot of make too many more signals, okay? DJ is just battling with the idea of Michael's being a 21 year old.
Starting point is 00:51:20 I think that's it. Yeah, but he wants to. He really wants to, but I think it's like public perception and that. Yeah. Like don't, don't drag him on like that. And now Michael's is, you know, he's 21. He's a AGM. He's in school.
Starting point is 00:51:33 He's got enough going on. He doesn't need the question your thoughts and feelings on him. Just go up and say, hey, man, I really like you. I feel something here, but I'm hesitant because of your age. That's a conversation you can have with a dude, and I think he'd be open to it. I do think that the constant beverages that you're buying him will send him mixed signals because now he's confused why there was no conversation after the smooch in the Uber. You didn't acknowledge it, but now you're giving him drinks every time he walks in a room.
Starting point is 00:52:02 That's mixed signals, dude. That's tough to decipher. And he got the drink right. So he's paying attention. I know that was the biggest thing. he's like, I'll take a spicy mark. And it's like, oh, I got you one already. I'm like, oh, that's a very mixed signal.
Starting point is 00:52:15 Yeah. Especially at his birthday party. Yeah. Just talk to him. Fuck up, dude. I don't even think he said hi when he walked in. I think he just beeline to the bar to get him one. He did.
Starting point is 00:52:23 It actually looked like Michael's almost swerved him to hug somebody else. Did you notice that? Yeah. So maybe that's why he's like, oh, I'll fix this real quick. I'll give him a spicy mark. I don't know, man. I don't just talk to the guy, but that's when we get Maddie talking to T.J. And look, I get she's your friend, and I get that you're trying to make sure that she doesn't get in another shitty situation.
Starting point is 00:52:46 Meanwhile, we get Bradley Macon-Lake. That's his new love interest for the time being. But I just think that this will always play poorly. I don't think this will ever, ever be a good look. I don't think it ever works. I think that anybody in the world that's tried to have this conversation with a friend talking about their significant other, that never pans out well, I think it's. especially when you're on TV doing it and Joe's going to watch this back. It's like, dude, you might have feelings about Joe, okay?
Starting point is 00:53:17 And Maddie's made it very clear. That's not my business. This happened before we were dating. I don't give a fuck. I'm not getting involved. Now you have TJ sitting there telling Joe's girlfriend, Maddie, he's going to cheat on you. It's like, even if you think that's true, you be there after the fact. If it does happen and if you want to be that guy and say, I told you so, fine.
Starting point is 00:53:38 in that moment if you want to do that whatever but when you do it beforehand they just started dating they just got together and now you're sitting at a pool party just bad mouth that's still her boyfriend like there's not going to be some come to jesus moment at a pool party where mattie's like oh my god dj you're right he is trevor it's not going to happen anyway and it may have happened in a way of hey look joe's my boy if they were friends and none of this happened and you did that then mattie might sit there and say oh shit like one of his closest friends is sitting here would tell me to, like, be aware of him. I know Joe, but, you know, maybe he knows him better.
Starting point is 00:54:12 Like, she would actually have a conflict in there. But when you're saying it, when everybody, including Joe's girlfriend, of course, knows that you're pissed at Joe and you want to ice him out. You don't want to be around them because of the things that he said to him. All of those things are going to come up immediately and say, all right, well, you have an agenda. You're just attacking Joe because you're mad at Joe. You're trying to get at him through me, which is not good. And once this gets back and look, I know most of the group is probably going to agree.
Starting point is 00:54:36 There's going to be a couple outliers that don't really like Joe to begin with so they're going to stay out of it but the rest of them are going to be like well you can't go to mattie and say that like we're not on your side for this and he's just going to end up isolating himself which is going to suck and we don't want to see that for tj because we really like tj yeah and like i'm not even picking a side here because i get again i understand why he's upset even despite how this may sound that we're like on joe's side i'm not i think that tj has a right to be pissed off at him i just think that going about it this way dirty is your side of the street so even when you're past it,
Starting point is 00:55:09 it just leaves you open to more because this could come back. And it's like, yeah, dude, well, you were talking shit to his girlfriend. And then you were talking shit to Bradley.
Starting point is 00:55:16 You were talking shit to everyone to listen to it. You're mad at will for being friends with them. It's like, it's just there's too much stuff piling up. And it's almost better if that is what Joe's going to do for TJ to be like, sit back quietly. Let it happen. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:55:31 And then you can go to everybody and be like, told you. But just I think he's too involved in it. And it's drag. dragging him down and like you said we really like tj i'm glad he's more involved this season and yeah this is interesting stuff as for tj the character who i want to see thrive on this show who i think can thrive on this show i just don't want him to get bogged down by this out of the gate and not be able to come back from it because he's talking shit relentlessly all the time so we'll see how it goes
Starting point is 00:55:58 uh but yeah as far as premieres go it was a great great season premiere and i'm stoked for the season Yeah, and I don't know how the Obviously the end of the episode with Joe coming over And trying to initiate a conversation with him For TJ Like I don't know how the conversation is going to go If they do get into a conversation, then that's okay But if he stands Pat on
Starting point is 00:56:20 And we see this in the beginning of the next episode If he stands Pat on no, I'm not ready to have that conversation yet You can't be ready to talk shit to the group You can't be ready to talk shit directly to Joe's girlfriend If you're not ready to talk to Joe You just can't do that It just doesn't compute. It doesn't work.
Starting point is 00:56:36 So hopefully if he continues to say he's not ready for the conversation, Joe can point that out. You're talking shit on me all around, but you're not talking to me. That's not fair. You need to be able to do this. So hopefully that works out. But captivating first episode. Love this show. So happy it's back.
Starting point is 00:56:49 Me too. I think we got a good lineup coming up. I think we got a lot of really good shows to recap. I'm stoked for traders. Yep. I can't wait to get into that. Bachelor coming back is awesome, especially. We haven't done The Bachelor yet.
Starting point is 00:57:03 We've done Bachelorette. So Bachelors is going to be fun. That's going to be interesting for us. Yeah, it is. It is. I'm looking forward to it. So we got a lot of shows coming up, a lot of non-Bravo shows, but don't worry. We're still covering all of your Bravo favorites.
Starting point is 00:57:15 So don't stress out everybody. Oh, yeah. Mary. But let's get to some, do we have any questions for Soho? Oh, yeah. We do. Hell yeah. That's good.
Starting point is 00:57:23 Hey, that's big. That's a big tell on how a show is doing. Wow, we got a lot of questions for Soho. that's wild fuck yeah guys people are watching finally we've been telling you for three fucking years all right let's see
Starting point is 00:57:40 from darya png is leva a good boss i would say that having like five restaurants on king street and charleston yeah you know what you're doing yeah i think she's good and i like that she's barely in the show like she'll pop up and just say hi
Starting point is 00:57:57 you might have a sit down with somebody who's working there but it's all about work And yeah, you'll get the one-off where they have to sit down and talk about what's going on with the rest of them. But for the most part, she kind of lets them do their own thing, which I appreciate the nature arc of the show. Like she steps back and lets them do the job. She's way less involved than LVP was. Yeah, exactly. I think she plays her role.
Starting point is 00:58:16 Well, I also think that she knows how to play it up when she's on camera. But I would, you know, you can't argue with Numbies. Look at she's got five spots up and down the street. I guess she appears to be a good boss. Oh, yeah. From the Lenora, what kind of balloons would you have gotten for each? other i know what i would have gotten you got to go first though hey what's the occasion birthday um yeah let's say birthday party i would definitely get you the numbers and make you
Starting point is 00:58:48 take the picture with the numbers like a girl who just turned 21 yeah that's boring i would get you uh yosemite sam shooter that would get you a uh that'd be great cut out a cut out of shooter magavin that would be great yeah see i'm better at parties than you yeah you are you probably lose those balloons anyway yeah more than likely uh this is interesting for your point from donya for president did joe ever actually cheat i thought he was just hanging out with mea and daniel yeah i'm pretty sure that's what was going on and look we know Danielle, we've seen her on screen for a long time, I wouldn't be surprised
Starting point is 00:59:31 if she thought it was more, but I just never got the sense that they were actually dating. They weren't like, yeah, maybe they went on a couple of dates, maybe they hooked up a couple times, but it's not cheating. I think here you go. I think that they're allowed to be angry and
Starting point is 00:59:46 upset. Whoever got mad at it, whether it's TJ, Danielle, Mia, absolutely 100%. Yes, you are allowed to be upset about this. It makes sense. He was a fucking asshole, the fact that we're still now talking about, the length in which it's gone on for, that's where I'm like, all right, we can move on from this now, especially considering we're watching Bravo, what, like, how many cheating scandals do we see in relationships that
Starting point is 01:00:13 have gone on for years? Yeah. Yeah, this is not a drop in the bucket. No, so I think that's, that's what I, oh, this is actually interesting from Dr. Cards, where Maddie and Joe giving early Tom and Ariana. when they were setting up the party. I can see where you'd make that. I could see it.
Starting point is 01:00:31 Yeah. I think there's a lot of parallels that you can make to the BPR cast and the show in general on this show. I try not to. I like to look at it as a different thing, but I can see where you would get that. Yeah, I understand it. We'll do two more from Jenna Leaf. Not a question, but Michael's is such a breath of fresh air so far. Love him.
Starting point is 01:00:53 We agree. We think he's going to be great for the show. I'm excited to see where he's. goes one more you know what this is perfect oh god how what how do you say that kekkels i don't know keckle c c l-es quackles quackles no quekels there's no you you yeah that's fine kekles kekkels no kickless i don't know q e c c l es no question but i can't wait for you're at we are so back baby you're damn right the bros are back 2025 soho is back we got a full lineup of bravo coming
