Bros & Shows - Tan-Lines and Jealous Jesse (Summer House Full Recap)

Episode Date: April 25, 2025

What's up Bros? What a great season of Summer House, amiright? This episode in particular was fantastic. Tensions are still high with Jesse and Lexi as we have been only hearing one side of the story.... Amanda and the other ladies in the house are starting to see a trend with Jesse and are more open to hearing Lexi's side of things (about time...) Turns out there are certainly 2 sides to every story and we get a chance to hear from Lexi. She tells the girls that all the things Jesse is accusing her of are not true. Amanda breaks the news that she has launched her swimsuit line and is preparing for their first release. Ciara makes it clear to Jesse that she's not cool with how he has handled things. Carl opens up about a crush on Ciara as well as some tan-lines. Lexi lays down the law with Jesse and calls him out for all the BS he's been spewing behind her back and finally gets to say her piece. We are team Lexi and we're thrilled shes able to set the record straight. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices

Starting point is 00:00:00 Summer's here, and you can now get almost anything you need for your sunny days delivered with Uber Eats. What do we mean by almost? Well, you can't get a well-groom lawn delivered, but you can get a chicken parmesan delivered. A cabana? That's a no. But a banana, that's a yes. A nice tan, sorry, nope. But a box fan, happily yes. A day of sunshine? No. A box of fine wines? Yes. Uber Eats can definitely get you that. Get almost, almost anything delivered with Uber Eats.
Starting point is 00:00:24 Order now. Alcohol and select markets. Product availability may vary by Regency app for details. This episode is brought to you by MewMew, introducing Mutein, the new feminine fragrance by the iconic fashion house. Mutein captures the youthful, unconventional essence of the Mewew-Mew girl, brought to life by a gourmand, intimate and enveloping scent of wild strawberry and brown sugar accords. Moutin is not a statement, but a knowing glance, a sweet rebellion, lighthearted and laced with wit, a gesture made for oneself. Discover the new fragrance, Mutein, now available in Canada. What do you think about Summer House?
Starting point is 00:01:01 It's got me. Yeah. I'm with you. Bros and shows. I got to have me my pros and shows. Bros and shows. Brose and shows. I got to have me.
Starting point is 00:01:14 My brother's and shows. Good afternoon, everybody. Or good morning. And welcome to another episode of Bros. And shows, I'm your co-host, Steele Russell, joined as always by the fabulous Goots. What's up, dude? We finally got a girl coach. episode how about that girl code is back this is huge this is massive uh we were giving the girls
Starting point is 00:01:36 a lot of shit like hey you live with this girl you're watching jesse do this you're condoning the actions and you're condoning him flirting with sierra we finally got the full girl code and it was led by page which i'm so happy about because she needs to be the voice of reason obviously amanda had something to do with it but seeing the rest of the girls in the house she kicked it off seeing the rest of the girls in the house come behind lexie and and realize what the hell's going on for whatever reason they're here and i'm happy about it because somebody needs to do it me too it's it's something that we've been discussing for a few weeks now because the discourse online has been interesting to watch as people still seem to be giving
Starting point is 00:02:17 jesse way too much credit and still reporting to like lexie being the annoying girlfriend that's like needy and clingy and all that which we didn't agree with after a couple weeks we're like all right there's clearly more going on here she's trying to stand up for herself and navigate this thing. So I'm glad that she finally had this big moment where she does. She puts her foot down, one, to the girls and says, look, I'm not sure what you've been told, but like, here's what's going on from my perspective. And two, night and day, how Jesse describes their relationship. It's almost like they both describe it to other people differently than they describe it to each other. But I don't think Lexi's been holding back. I think because she said that,
Starting point is 00:02:58 that quote last week where she's like, I'm trying to speed up because it seems like he wants all of these things. I'm trying to get on the same level as him. That was the first like where I kind of perked my ears up was like, oh, are we misreading this whole situation? Come to find out. We were. Yeah, we definitely were.
Starting point is 00:03:14 And look, I think it has something to say with Lexi not really sharing exactly what's going on. We've got a lot of Jesse sharing with the rest of the house in his confessionals, talking about what he wants, how he's going about it. And we can see all of that. and everything that he says sounds like, it doesn't seem like you really want to do this.
Starting point is 00:03:33 But then we finally hear from Lexi on what his actions are. And we got a little glimpse behind the curtain last week or the week before where she's flat out said, he tells me that he loves me all the time, never in front of anybody else, never in front of the house, never in front of everybody else that lives here. So to everybody else on the outside looking in,
Starting point is 00:03:51 it's like, uh, looks a little weird. And look, Lexi might not be your cup of tea. She is, you know, very upfront with all these things.
Starting point is 00:03:56 and she wants to move super fast. Jesse's doing it. Jesse knew all of that. That's why we're giving him shit is because she has been very upfront. She's been very transparent. This is what I do. When I go all in, I really go all in.
Starting point is 00:04:09 This is all I'm really focused on when it comes to a relationship. So if we're going to be exclusive, this is how I'm going to be. He agreed to that. So you don't now get to come back and say, I don't know, you know, it's just she's doing a lot. It's like you agreed with it.
Starting point is 00:04:22 But he's the one that's doing a lot. That's the thing that we found out is like, thing is yeah she was up front about it and that's what i think got us all on the same page of like oh she wants to move super fast come to find out she's like he's moving at lightning speed when we're together during the week i'm trying to catch up to him so i think because of how she presented what she likes in a relationship we were all under the impression it's like oh she's the one that's pushing this thing as fast as humanly possible yeah but we actually find out know Jesse's the one that when they're together one-on-one, that's pushing this thing much further
Starting point is 00:04:58 than she actually is at the moment, which was, this was a huge episode for her, just as far as character development, as far as securing her place on this show separate from Jesse, because she's able to stand up for herself, able to show everybody that a lot of the things that people are questioning about her, she is self-aware of it and also not doing it. She's just getting painted as this crazy girlfriend. And she's like, well, whoa, whoa, whoa, hold on. Let me tell my side of things. So I actually almost like the way that production got us to this point. Yeah. Because we're thinking one thing. It's like skirt, not really. This is actually what her side is. And now we get to flip the script and hear it from her. We get the girls finally coming along and joining her and backing her up,
Starting point is 00:05:40 which is something that we've needed since I've talked about it. I think every week since I watched Amanda snub her from that conversation in the room. Now we got some support. I'm like, that's all I really wanted i want her to feel like yeah it's an ally it got really old watching her not have any allies watching her just try to like navigate through all this alone and then watching all the rest of the girls and the guys in the house somewhat support sierra and jesse like oh look at that yeah maybe there is something there's like your guys are forgetting about lexie and that's fucked up but i am actually kind of happy and obviously you know if you've been on this ride with us if you want to call it that since day one we knew that there's some shit that's going to pop off we knew that lexy and jesse
Starting point is 00:06:18 We're going to melt down. We thought that Sierra was going to be in the middle of it. This didn't go exactly how I thought it was when we watched that first trailer. When we finally got through that first episode, we're like, oh, this is going to crash and burn. And we went through excitement. We're like, this is awesome. This is going to be so cool. And honestly, an episode or two ago, I'm like, I don't know if I really want to watch this.
Starting point is 00:06:38 It could get too messy. And like, I'd feel bad for Lexi. I'm not going to feel bad for Jesse because he put himself there. But I'd probably feel bad for Sierra. Now I'm just like, I was hoping that it wasn't going to be. be a Lexi versus Sierra type of situation. It needs to be Lexi versus Jesse. And that is what we got.
Starting point is 00:06:53 So I am very thankful after watching this episode like, okay, cool. Now everybody knows everything's out in the open. We actually just get to see Lexi and Jesse fall apart on their own, which is great because Lexi needs that. And Jesse probably needs it too as a wake-up call. Yeah, Jesse needs it. So it'll shake them up and realize one, you're not ready for this. And two, when you are ready, these are the kinds of things that you need to be prepared for and
Starting point is 00:07:13 not to gaslight your partner. For Lexi, it's a chance to move on in this house. and not be tied down to this relationship and not allow this relationship to force her out of next season. Because I think she deserves to come back. And I think that her doing this episode specifically, I think cemented her spot next season because she's like, whoa, whoa, fuck this. And she stood her ground. I'm like, hell yeah. That's all we needed.
Starting point is 00:07:36 Because I like Lexington up until this point. But having that side of it too, I'm like, all right, awesome. She's here. She's good to go. But let's jump into this episode because we start out with Jesse and West. they're headed up to the hamptons and you know sierra's warming up to west she said goodbye big steps love to see it nature is healing but then we're talking about lexie again he's like you know she wants me to grow up and like i've changed my behavior to protect us and you know i'm not letting
Starting point is 00:08:04 my best friend touch me and you know i'm unfollowing hot girls it's like yep why is that such a fucking detriment why are you so stuck and hung up on this thing he's like i guess it means I'm growing up. It's like, yeah, it does. You should not be following attractive women on your Instagram in the middle of a relationship. Yeah, if you had already followed them beforehand and she was actively going through your following list saying unfollow this person, unfollow this person. That's one thing. But if you guys were talking and dating and look, again, it is a reminder and page even says that later, it's been a month and a half. It's only been a month and a half. You couldn't stop yourself from following these girls. And I love the way
Starting point is 00:08:46 that he paints it because every situation that Jesse's in when it's an awkward situation, when it's a weird situation, that's usually his fault. When he's talking to somebody else who wasn't there or didn't know about it, it's so different. It is so different. And this is what really bothers me, uh, specifically with Sierra because I know, like, there's a ton of pictures of videos and stuff of them and Coachella and they're still very flirty Jesse and Sierra.
Starting point is 00:09:08 They're still very close. They were the only ones really out there. Apparently Kyle was out there too. Did you see that blind item? Kyle came home from the hotel like three. 3 a.m. fucking hammered, lost his room key to the hotel, had to, like, have the PR girls come down from Bravo to, like, help him out. Yeah, it's a whole mess. Too old. Too old. But for Jesse and Sierra, it's like, how did Sierra not watch this and say, that is not at all what happens? We watched the scene last week with her talking to her friends, explaining. And yeah, there was a little bit of saltiness there. There was a little bit like, I am into you. You're leading me on. And he was leading you on. But Sierra, stop. Just. fucking knock it off how do you not watch this and say that is not what happened jesse's painting
Starting point is 00:09:52 it like it was just a goof like whoa whoa whoa hey hey hey why what are you doing you were like you started off like whoa don't touch me and then tried to make it into a joke and then you blamed your girlfriend so that is not what happened and when he's telling west you know that you can see it in west size west is like just fucking over it he is so over jesse and lexy he does not want to deal with this shit anymore and we'll talk about it later but he's so giddy whenever everything goes down. I know, dude, he's like, yeah,
Starting point is 00:10:19 finally. It's falling apart. Yeah, dude. But we get to the house. We're in the kitchen. Amanda announces that she dropped the account for her swimsuit line. She's gearing up for her first release to zero surprise whatsoever.
Starting point is 00:10:34 She got like almost 100,000 followers overnight. This is a no-brainer. She's going to be so successful with the swim line. I'm stoked that she has her thing now. We've been waiting for this. So, like, I wish her nothing but the best in this endeavor. I imagine she's going to absolutely kill this thing because I also think forever. I don't think she recognizes the following that she has and the reputation she has.
Starting point is 00:11:00 People want to support her. So the fact that she came out with a great idea, something that people can get behind, something that's her own. I think this is going to be massive. So I'm stoked for her. That's really exciting. I think her life since season two of Summerhouse has just been lover boy. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:11:14 And that's the only thing that people ever talk about. And we watch how many fucking brands take off or crumble on Bravo all the time. I think that people have been talking about it's actually, if she were to go back, I don't think that she would change anything because the amount of people that were like, Amanda, go out and do something, please for the love of God for like six years. And then when she finally does it, it takes off. Because of all of those people that were telling you to go do something, they're going to support you no matter what because they're watching you on screen,
Starting point is 00:11:40 get pushed down and shoved into a corner and lover boy and you can never leave this you have to talk about lover boy all the time now you're going to go do your own thing you have so much support so i'm sure it probably felt really nice for her to look at that and she was probably super nervous and we watched her doing her designs when she was uh walking sierra through everything she was probably so nervous when that when that dropped but that's got to be validation i'm relief yeah yeah yeah i think it's awesome but schwartz arrives i think this is the best role for tom schwartz just pop around the different shows yeah right like just drop them in take him to a housewife show every once in a while like just allow him to like rotate because i'm surprised he's not he might
Starting point is 00:12:20 they might do a guy's version of love hotel if this one does well oh dude that would be i would watch that with him on it like there's just something about tom schwartz love him right him when he's on the screen it'll be hold on let's do let's do that cast real quick love island dude we got to pick four no no it's uh yeah love hotel dudes sports ship uh huh Got to throw a chef in there. Probably somebody from below deck, one of the hot captains. I don't know who's single. You got a captain Jason.
Starting point is 00:12:47 That's a no brainer. Yeah, yeah. Throw Captain Jason in there. Although that would suck. Could you imagine being Schwartz or Shep? I don't love a hotel show. When you walk in and you're like fucking Captain Jason. This fucking beautiful Australian captain.
Starting point is 00:12:59 Like what am I supposed to do next to this guy? God damn it. Schwartz. You take a peek in the urinal. You're just like, God damn it. Oh, fuck, of course. Why did I look? I should have known.
Starting point is 00:13:11 And then the fourth needs to be, oh, you know what? Let's take Brad from Southern hospitality. Throw him in there. Yeah, that works. You know, he's get a younger guy in there. I like that.
Starting point is 00:13:25 And then you have the kind of... I was trying to think of like one of the divorced house husbands. No, I don't see that's sad. Let's throw Ralph in there. Fucking Ralph. That would actually be kind of funny. Honestly, if you want to put him as a friend of on Love Hotel, I would actually... That would be great.
Starting point is 00:13:40 Just to watch him flounder because he thinks he's hot shit. And to watch him actually try to spit game and just get completely shut down would be, would be exhilarating. I like that cast. We'll start, we'll start pushing. Well, what email are we on at Bravo since we just randomly email accounts? Tom at Bravo. Bill at Bobby. Andy.
Starting point is 00:13:57 Andy dot co. And at Bravo.com didn't work. Oh, man. We got to do NBCUniversital or UNIV, I think. Versimal. Yeah, that's what it is. Universal. Yeah, universal.
Starting point is 00:14:06 New word. Nice job. But everybody gets to the house. Jesse tries to give Sierra a hug slash kiss on the cheek she swerves him and gives him a fist bump
Starting point is 00:14:16 and he's like what the fuck it's like the lack of awareness it has it's like you set all of these things
Starting point is 00:14:24 in motion and then you have to like reap the benefits or you know just what happens from it and you're like what's going on it's like
Starting point is 00:14:32 brother you keep like shooting yourself in the foot and then when you're limping you're like, what happened? Like, you did this. You set the tone with the weird interaction at the Cancer Society thing.
Starting point is 00:14:46 That's how she feels now. You've done this because you were so flirty. You led her on as well. Then you shut it down with boundaries. And now you're surprised at the reaction. Yep. Doesn't make sense. It sums it up nicely.
Starting point is 00:15:00 But it seems as though this has been a party in the making since this show started. The snooze fest party. The bedbugs have their day. outside. They're literally creating giant beds. It's actually a pretty funny theme. It's perfect. It works. And as they're all kind of chit chatting in the kitchen, a towgate joke comes up. Toagate joke. I said Toagate Joe. Everyone knows Togate Joe. Everybody knows Togate Joe. Yeah, he's out there just looking toes left and right. But Tollgate joke was made. And the boys split off because we're doing, girls are getting ready for
Starting point is 00:15:33 the party. Boys are having a little boys. And I love it. You get to see both sides of everybody. but as it was emerald sucking on Jesse's toe and that's why it was so weird I mean maybe would I be would I be shocked at all I mean I would be shocked at all I mean I would be shocked if Imral didn't just come out and say it because he's very open about all those things that's my whole thing like I I maybe that's because he's so open I'd be like yeah maybe that is what happened but as the dudes are getting ready to go out we get an explanation once again of to Schwartz and again his reenact down of the situation doesn't make sense to me.
Starting point is 00:16:09 It's like... They're under the covers. They're under the covers. One thing I do know about the summer house, it is always hot. They're always bitching about it. They need fans. They need this.
Starting point is 00:16:20 They need that. There's no way they were under the covers. So you're already lying. I already know that. They're lying there. And then for him not to understand that if you're in a relationship with somebody and you,
Starting point is 00:16:30 like, this is going to sound gross, but I'm just going to say it this way to fully emphasize what happened. If you're with somebody else exclusively or borderline exclusively at that point, I'm not sure what the labels were because they're fucking stupid anyway. And you put up your body part in the orifice of somebody else. I know.
Starting point is 00:16:53 It's gross. That is not appropriate. And you shouldn't have to explain that to somebody where he's still trying to go, it was just a goof. It was a goof. It's not a goof. It's not. If this happened to reverse.
Starting point is 00:17:07 First, if she walked into that room and Imrule sucked on her toe, you would want to fucking rule up. But because you did it, it's just, come on, you're taking this shit too seriously. Yeah. I can't get past that description. I told you it was gross. You just kind of rowing my day. Dude, it's nice out like I'm excited. Like, I know, drinks, a little happy hour.
Starting point is 00:17:26 You're just like, hey, let me explain it in a way that's really going to bother you. But does that, I know, I did that intentionally to show like that's inappropriate. You shouldn't be putting things in other people. It's inappropriate. Okay, I feel gross saying it this way. And my mother-in-law listens to this program. So, like, I have to, my grandmother listens to this. So I have to live with that.
Starting point is 00:17:49 It is what it is. I'm sorry, Susie. I'm sorry, gaggy. My apologies. I still love you. Oh, boy. Ontario. The weight is over.

Starting point is 00:19:28 Conditions apply. Scotia Bank, you're richer than you think. But anyway, we get to the boys' night slash girls' night. we get a nice, clean juxtapose scene so I can just draw a line in the middle of my book and take notes on either one. That's what I like about the, we didn't get the rare triple juxtapose that we got in Atlanta this week, which was a nightmare to come right. Boy's Night, we're going to do that one first, then we'll get over to Girls Night, all right?
Starting point is 00:19:52 Sound good? Can't wait for this. We start out with Boys Night. And, you know, Carl and Sierra come up, like the drive to Montau. It's pretty much just feeding more into this. Carl's got a thing for Sierra which is blatantly obvious we all see it yeah will it pan out
Starting point is 00:20:08 probably not no it's it's just gonna be so awkward yep it it's I don't know why he does this to us like Carl Carl and he's a lot of things but recently he just seems like kind of like a hurt puppy and it's like all right like I can get behind this version of Carl
Starting point is 00:20:26 well look again I mean I'm used to seeing you know early seasons Carl hammered starting problems quoting rappers saying more life over and over again being an asshole now the last couple seasons it's like oh Carl just you know hang back
Starting point is 00:20:41 just don't do anything weird just do your thing you know we're going to support you I'm not going to support that next week it's just going to be so awkward I support it I don't want to watch it it's so sweet in a awkward as much cringy way yeah it's not sweet once you say cringy
Starting point is 00:20:57 it's not sweet anymore but Jesse brings up the not touching Sierra thing And again, his go-to move, he frames it as a joke. I was just goofing with her. And, you know, she's being all weird. And I was told I was being too flirty. And then Kyle questions that.
Starting point is 00:21:14 And he's like, did she say that or did other people say that? Which doesn't really matter. It's not the point of this. Now multiple people have said this. It's not like you don't get to pick and choose like, oh, they're overreacting. It's like, no, the general public and people in the house are all feeling this kind of way. They all pointed it out. They pointed it out the entire party.
Starting point is 00:21:34 They pointed it out at Carl's soft bar opening. They're all talking about it. So, yeah, it's a huge issue. It's a huge thing. Sierra's not even talking about it. That's the best part. What she found out, you could tell. And this is, again, like another strike against Sierra.
Starting point is 00:21:46 When she finds out that everybody's talking about it, she's like, why? Why does everybody talk about this? It's like, come on. Really? Because you leaned into it. You did. She bothers her love life bothers me so much. I wish I could just, like, escape it.
Starting point is 00:21:59 I know it does. It gets under your skin. But the fact that his response to all of that is I'm trying to be respectful. It's like it's not this hard. When you have an intuition or an instinct to do something that could be questionable, don't do it. Walk away. The problem is that all of his respect, quote unquote, is retroactive.
Starting point is 00:22:22 It's retroactive. It's all reactionary to things that he's done that loses respect. And then he tries to make up for it. But like, he doesn't grovel. that's the thing like even after a towgate and he gets defensive he gets very defensive and then tries to play it off like a joke and then he tries to play it off like why are you mad at me about this it's just a goof and I'm going to keep spinning this and start making jokes about it if you groveled I think people would have more respect for you that would show remorse yeah show remorse show remorse be sorry apologize and try to make up for it don't try to spin it like apologize this isn't respect what you're doing right now this is is you gaslighting. Gaslighting is the least respectful thing you can do. Yeah, it's crazy to watch. And just like the fact that he continues to double, triple, quadruple down, it's like, bro, it's not that hard. It's not that deep. It's so black and white obvious what you're doing to everybody on the
Starting point is 00:23:19 planet except for you. And I don't think that he's that dumb. I think he knows. He's just trying to, I think he's used to getting away with it to be honest. That's exactly it. And I was talking to dev about that. It's like he's so used to doing this shit and having no real repercussions, but now he's in the public eye doing it. And if we know anything about the Bravo community, they're not going to let shit like this slide. They're going to dig deeper. So you're not going to get away with it on TV on any TV program, let alone a Bravo TV program. You're going to get called out, which is what's happening now. But we get to what you've been waiting for. Let's talk some niche porn. Oh, yeah. Let's talk about. Here's the funny thing about this whole conversation.
Starting point is 00:23:58 is that is, by the way, the best answer. Carl's answer is the best niche poor answer possible. It is safe. It's not that weird. It's not that kinky. It is very niche. He answered the question perfectly. And look, obviously, if I was at that table, I would be dying laughing.
Starting point is 00:24:17 I'd probably be crying. I'd be doubled over. But he answered the question correctly. It is interesting. And look, tan lines can be hot. Nothing wrong with that. Nothing wrong with that at all. Hey.
Starting point is 00:24:27 I'm surprised nobody there was like, feet fucking hentai i think they would have gotten into it if that wasn't the first yeah because then they were all stuck on tan lines but hey this is when carl just cracks me up though because like he's he seems so hesitant like when uh when west and uh and jessie are calling him on the way up like you can tell like there's hesitancy in his voice he's like uh yeah i don't know and then he just jumps into this like i'm gonna give it an answer and it's just like Again, the right answer. It's the best answer.
Starting point is 00:25:01 And he immediately just gets laughed at. It's like, oh, God, every time, every single time, Carl. Nerd. But he did. He answered the question. He played the game, right? And we have stood by this since day one, episode one of our podcast. Yep.
Starting point is 00:25:18 No king shaming here. No king. Jammer allowed. But, dude, it was so perfectly Carl. And that's what Wes says to. It's like, if I had to, if you gave me a list of 20. options and tan lines was on there like that one that's what he's going to pick thousand percent it's so fucking funny and like west confessional's like you can't even like say the
Starting point is 00:25:38 ones that he's like beep beep uh be i don't even think i would be good with tan lines i don't think it's like dirty enough for me he's like god damn like double back yeah but let's get over to girls night and they're talking jesse and lexie obviously and uh the boyfriend girlfriend topic because again two sides of this story when they're alone together during the week in new york city which side note i'm so excited that they've been putting more emphasis on city life i think that's the route for this show to continue to be successful with this cast if you want to recast people disagree with that and i don't really understand that i don't either like they're too old now that we need to see their day to day in the city because i don't need to watch a bunch of people
Starting point is 00:26:22 get tired and go to bed i want to see their data and plus a lot of these going to a party if Kyle's DJing at some club or something and they're all going out or they're doing some sort of event in the city, why wouldn't we want to see that? Because they're probably more prone to staying out and doing stuff. Like, yeah, you do. If you want to get like crazy with the production, you do have to get clearances to film things and whatever, whatever, whatever. But if you're going to follow them, you already know what you're doing. We can split this. And I'm not saying 50-50. I'm just saying like 30-70 probably. Give me a little bit of city life. Yeah. Just to show us a little bit more because, you know, you can't really film that much at most of the
Starting point is 00:26:56 places out in the Hamptons anymore. No. I guarantee you there's a plethora of places that you can actually film in New York City based off of Roney alone. And then you can just do that. It's a no-brainer for me. Yeah, I agree with you 100%. But they were talking the boyfriend and girlfriend thing in front of Sierra and you can
Starting point is 00:27:13 tell she's having reactions to it. You can tell that she doesn't love this conversation. So Amanda points out that one, like, what was that like? Are you good with that combo? And she's like, yeah, you know, whatever, just weird. And Amanda points out the yellow flags. that we've been hearing that combo am i good are you good with that combo because they did break down the whole exclusivity and boyfriend and girlfriend thing i think that it was checked in on
Starting point is 00:27:36 she's it's dumb what i've learned about labels okay in my tenure here at at bros and shows what i've learned about labels is people will manipulate these terms to fit what makes them comfortable with their relationship that's what labels are it's i we're exclusive not boyfriend girl girlfriend because for some reason that makes you feel better inside it's not true it's not what's actually going on but if that makes you feel better by all means stick some innocuous label on top of it so that you don't feel like you're too committed to a person that you say you're exclusive with but not enough to say that that's my girlfriend it makes no fucking sense even you can agree with i i think it's pretty cut and dry honestly i don't really i know and i genuinely i'm not even gaslighting you know at
Starting point is 00:28:21 point. It makes sense. It's stepping stones. You start dating. You're still kind of seeing other people, but like, you know, focusing on one person. Then you move to an exclusivity type of situation. How is that not only last? It lasts like a couple of weeks. Because it's more formal. Then you actually have to ask somebody,
Starting point is 00:28:37 hey, do you want to actually be my girlfriend? And it's very nice. You fucking in middle school. Why do you have to ask? You just mean. It's nice. And by. You get them flowers. Get them flowers and some chocolates or something and you go, hey, why don't we make this like fully official, you can actually be my girlfriend.
Starting point is 00:28:53 Then you started introducing. Chocolate and flowers should not be exclusive to special occasions like that. If you care, just fucking bond in the powers. Don't twist my words. I'm just saying that it's a nice gesture. If you do formally ask, the girl appreciates that. Some guys barely appreciate it. I don't know why you're knocking on it.
Starting point is 00:29:10 I'm not knocking on it. I think it's very convenient for all of these people in the dating world to slap whatever label on things that they want to make them feel less committed to a person. I think a lot of people do. Yeah, I mean, look, and I think in your 30s, it's a lot different. But I think a lot of people probably do manipulate those terms just to make it fit. Really? Thank you.
Starting point is 00:29:31 Yes. It makes sense. Like the structure of it makes sense to me, and I get that. But I also do obviously, look, I mean, with any situation, there's always going to be some scumbags out there that are changed in situations to make it benefit themselves. Thank you. Thank you. Yeah. Okay.
Starting point is 00:29:47 Cool. Boom. This has taken us over two years to. come to that was your only problem with it was the fact that like you were like yeah that's how it works it's like that's not it's not it's that's dumb it is how it works but but you can see where i'm coming to their advantage yes that's all i needed i just needed you to support me i didn't i didn't know that's how you felt yeah okay all right we're good yeah like i said it just took us years years of this conversation we used to talk about this before we had a podcast yeah honestly now we have to get a little
Starting point is 00:30:17 kiss give me a little kiss yeah just give me a little kiss apologize. Girls night. Let's get. I hope some people know that episode I'm referencing. Oh, God. But let's get to Girls Night. Again, like I said, let's finish up with Girls Night.
Starting point is 00:30:33 And the Yellow Flag's conversation comes up. And Amanda's starting to finally shift where she's like, you know what? We're getting a lot of talk from Jesse to us. What's he saying to Lexi? Because this situation is starting to get a little murky. I don't think it's so cutting. dry because they ask like does Lexi know and then Amanda goes to confessional and she's like look I'm in a tough spot I genuinely love Jesse but I'm friends with Lexi I was like thank you
Starting point is 00:31:01 finally that's finally some sort of acknowledgement that she exists that's it like why do we not get to talk to her through this whole thing why are we getting it through the lens of a certified fuck boy that we all know about we're not getting anything from Lexi because everyone's going to talk to Jesse about it and that's what that's why I think it's so insane because look I mean I mean, I try, and obviously when we're talking about all of this, like, we're looking at it like, hey, Lexi's right there, guys, what are we doing? Why are we doing this? If Lexi wasn't on the show and she was just a girl that lived in New York that we got to see every once in a while and maybe she came to the house for a weekend or whatever, I'd probably feel a little differently. I'd be like, I'm not really invested in this. Lexi, I don't know who this is. We'd be jaded towards Jesse. We'd be jaded towards Sierra. We might even be, I wouldn't personally be rooting for it because Sierra needs to run away from Bravo guys. but I would feel differently about it. And the girls, I wouldn't expect too much from
Starting point is 00:31:54 because it's like, all right, that's girl code, but like to the utmost extent. You don't really know this girl. You haven't seen her that much. You see her every once in a while. You don't really owe it to her to go be like, hey, by the way, your boyfriend's flirting with girls in the house. He's acting like a single every weekend that you're not here.
Starting point is 00:32:08 But she lives there. She's there every weekend. You guys are forced to film with her. Like it or not, you're around her all the time. You do owe it to her to be like, hey, this is kind of shitty. Absolutely. 100%. So seeing the veil kind of pulled back, finally, 11 episodes in, it's like, okay, let's go support Lexi now because she's floundering and she doesn't deserve to be.
Starting point is 00:32:27 But the dudes arrive home. Kyle, just go to bed when you get home. Don't tiptoe in and go, hi. I need them. I need them like this. I'm sorry, but like, this is how the show works. I need Kyle to do this all the time. wait wait time out yes don't stop i'm saying in real life the move is to go sleep in the sunroom
Starting point is 00:32:55 again yeah that's a great move but like i love that he's trying to like i know it's 3 a m but i love you no i still love you he starts fucking blasting music too by the way and then he gets upset he's like shit i think i turned all the speaker in the bed room he did that's what he was met i'm sure everybody can hear the huge subwoofer that you have playing in the one room downstairs But we're getting so much more content. I'm sure you've seen some of it. We're getting so much more content from behind the scenes from people like Jesse, from people like West. Like West posted a TikTok yesterday right after this aired the day before.
Starting point is 00:33:28 And it was them hammered in the kitchen at 245 air frying chicken nuggets, fries and pizza rolls. And Kyle hammered. And he's just like wiping like cheese from Kyle's face. And like everybody's hammered. They're just having a good time like playing chapel roan, just having a great time in the kitchen. I want to see more of that. I love that the behind the scenes. But it's because it's so much fun.
Starting point is 00:33:49 Because that's relatable. We always get upset. And usually this is a housewife thing. We always get upset when they do stuff like that and we don't get to see it. On Summer House, it's a little different because we do get to see them coming back. We're like, oh, they had a great time. Here's some pictures. Now we get to go on TikTok and watch more of it.
Starting point is 00:34:03 And I love that part of it. Yeah, me too. Because like it takes me back tonight's where I'm like, oh, yeah, you know, the good old days. I'm still there, brother, 4 a. I'm proud of you. You keep it up for the both of us. But we get to the next morning. And Amanda and Sierra are in bed and they give Paige a call.
Starting point is 00:34:20 And as we know last week, Paige was dealing with a lot of anxiety. The tour is coming up. Her shit with Craig is getting to a boiling point. So there's checking on her. She took a day, didn't come up Friday, needed a day for a little mental health recovery, sleep in, breathe, all that good shit. I have become such a page supporter through everything in the past year because of how level-headed she is, because of how calm and collected.
Starting point is 00:34:44 Did you watch her, watch what happens live? Yeah, it was great. It was great. Yeah. It was great. The way that she answered those questions and you put it right up against the way that Craig was answering those questions, it's very clear. It's like Paige. Paige is so much.
Starting point is 00:34:56 She's so much lighter. She has such a better air about her. The way that she was answering those questions, it was so cut and dry. It's like, yeah, the facts that any of us sat there and were like, holy shit, that she really told Craig that he should propose at BravoCon or they should get married at BravoCon. I didn't never believe that. As soon as she answered, it's like, oh, yeah, why the fuck would we ever think that for me? from her that wouldn't make any sense that's so stupid and it's just hard and i like craig a lot but it's just really hard to watch page answer those questions and not be like yeah i believe you
Starting point is 00:35:27 like a hundred percent like no doubt in my mind yeah i have no reason to distrust her no because she doesn't give anything there's no side explanation there's no like walking through hoops to get there it's like this is how i feel yeah this is what i did and you're like that makes total sense to me but we're getting ready for the party they're setting up snooze fest and there's a very very awkward moment when jesse's like trying to say something to sierra it's almost like he's trying to joke around and she's just like whatever dude like cold shoulders i mean he's like what the hell man like what's going on like at least let me finish what i was going to say it's like you have i'll talk about it like more later but like yeah it's just it's just
Starting point is 00:36:10 odd to see and it's it's very frustrating to watch to be on honest, because you can just understand what you said. I think he's the type of guy that he makes so many jokes and changes the story so many times that he believes a completely different thing. You know what I mean? So it just gets to a point. Yeah, he warps his own reality. So it gets to the point where he's not understanding why Sierra is being this way to him.
Starting point is 00:36:33 And we could talk about, you know, for a long time, why Sierra is actually doing this if she has feelings or whatever. At the core, you told her and it was embarrassing that she needs to stop flirt. with you. So she's taking a full step back. You watched what West and her did last year. You watched how she's handling the West situation in the beginning of this year. Why is this surprising? Like you don't get to play the, what did I do? I don't understand it. Just take a deep breath, understand what she's going through and it'll come back. I mean, you're watching West and Sierra sort of come back. You're talking about it constantly. You can get back to a friendship.
Starting point is 00:37:07 It's just going to take a little while because of how you handled it. He doesn't see any issue in how he handled it. That's the problem. No, he sees no wrongdoing. He's like, why am I the bad guy? It's because you keep doing bad shit. Like, it's pretty straightforward. And I thought it was shocking that he's sitting with Lexi and she's like, are you excited for the party?
Starting point is 00:37:24 He's like, no, not yet. Like, Sierra's being mad weird. I'm like, not the person to vent to about that. Yeah. It's inappropriate. You're an idiot. Yeah, very inappropriate. We get to Amanda and Lexi, which this is her highlight of the season, this and then her
Starting point is 00:37:37 conversation with Jesse. I was like, fuck, yeah, dude. This is what we needed from you. Good for you. Stand your ground. Because Amanda brings up the yellow flag conversation about the Instagram follows and the comments that he's making and she's like, you know, he unfollowed a bunch of girls and I guess you commented on it like, good job. And she's like, none of this is true, by the way. You've never heard my side of the story.
Starting point is 00:38:01 I'm getting DMs on the reg nonstop about his behavior, about as we know, in the Bravo world, people are going to dig in and they're looking at his followers. They're noticing that he's following people. they're forwarding it along to her up until so like a certain point she wasn't paying attention to it why he had not given her a reason to not trust him yep well and behold he sticks his toe in another woman's mouth now she's got some questions now she starts reading the dms now she's taking stock in the dm's realistic to me seems like a pretty pragmatic person in my opinion and then she probably should have broken it off entirely but you know what she should have but you can't fault people for like extending a second chance or trying to get through like the hurdle in the
Starting point is 00:38:43 beginning yeah but as she's explaining herself she's like no i didn't say that i didn't tell them to unfollow people i had questions about certain things because i'm getting all of these dms and as far as the comments go i didn't say stop i want you to hype up your girls as much as you possibly can let's change the verbiage let's change how we're saying it which i firmly agree with if you're dating someone don't comment on your attractive friends post holy shit you're so fucking hot. That would make your partner feel a certain way. Understandably so. She's not overbearing and jealous
Starting point is 00:39:14 because she doesn't want to see her boyfriend commenting on other women's pictures. No, not at all. Not at all. And honestly, I didn't have an issue with it when it was brought up the first time. I know that, yeah, the people in the house because of what Jesse's been doing for the last year, they were a little taken back.
Starting point is 00:39:30 They're like, uh, what's going on here? And obviously, we're only getting one side of the story. It's only Jesse talking about all of this. so when lexie tries to clarify it she didn't for me anyway need to clarify it i get it i didn't really actually need a clarification here but you talking about it is important because you're at least chatting with somebody else and amanda kind of holds her ground in a sense because she's like i was devastated when i heard that but i get it like relax don't do that that's part of the problem that's that that is the problem yeah that is the problem right now but you can tell
Starting point is 00:40:05 that they're kind of breaking down their walls. And look, how we got here, I don't know if it's just been, you know, it's been a month and a half of an absolute hurricane when it comes to these two. Maybe it's really tough to watch. They don't really know what to think. I understand a lot of that. Obviously, the catalyst is Sierra talking to them last week. Now they're both Amanda and Paige, you're like, hmm, it is weird.
Starting point is 00:40:26 There is a lot going on. The funny thing about this whole thing is the person who I think has the best read on the situation, but is completely staying out of it for her own sake is Lindsay. Lindsay, for whatever reason, we haven't seen her in any of these conversations. We haven't seen her do much of anything. Like, yeah, she was in the car when Jesse's talking about it. She's six months pregnant. She's staying out of it, which I love for Lindsay.
Starting point is 00:40:48 But when it finally gets to the point of, hey, everybody in the house is talking about this, like, what do you think? She has a whole read on the situation and she has 100% right. And I'm like, hell yeah, go, Lindsay, good for you. I'm sorry that it took Paige and Amanda this long. And look, maybe Paige is staying out. out of it because she's got her own problems. But Amanda's finally getting involved.
Starting point is 00:41:06 And at least it's the push in the right direction that we need. And it's a little bit of support. And it's a little bit of, all right, Lexi, let's hear your side of the story. Because you're not actively talking about it. And I don't blame her. Because what we've seen from the interactions in the rest of the house with Lexi, yes, I'm sure if she were to go back, she would do a lot of things differently. Maybe she would try to make friends first before falling in love with Jesse.
Starting point is 00:41:25 Fine, whatever. You can say that. Hindsight's 2020, of course. But we're getting to the point now where everybody else is talking about it. let's hear lexie's side of the story i'm going to give you a platform to speak on and we're finding out that everything that jesse's been talking about is almost the complete opposite yeah and you know the best point you made i wish jesse came to me instead you guys are only getting one perspective and that's not fair to lexie it's not fair to anybody else because they're getting
Starting point is 00:41:50 one side of the story yep and they all acknowledge like yeah your side is so different she's like I haven't done anything. He has. Yeah. So what the fuck? And on top of that, he calls me nonstop. Like the dude won't leave me alone. Like there's at a point where it's like, dude, stop.
Starting point is 00:42:06 I need to live. I'm like night and day of what we've been told from the other side of this. We've been getting led to believe that she's this extremely jealous, clingy, overbearing person. Lo and behold, he's extremely jealous. Yep. But he wants to paint you that way. So he has a scapegoat in this whole thing.
Starting point is 00:42:23 That's all he's trying to do. That's all he's doing. excuse when it falls apart but we get to the dudes briefly kyle's taking a fertility test we get a a quick sad moment from uh schwarzie where he's like you know we yeah we were we were talking about it like a year before we got the course and you're like oh i forgot all about that the sad time the sperm with the weird shaped heads yeah yeah and then very shortly after we had bugs and terrariums in his house in his apartment it was a it's a dark time yeah i'm happy to see it looks like Schwartz is a lot happier now.
Starting point is 00:42:56 Well, when he came in, getting back. It was so funny. He's like, this is a big one for me. He's like, I'm not in the middle of like a secret divorce. I'm not mired in controversy. I'm not bleeding out of any holes. I'm like, this is clean slate. Yeah, it is true. Every time that he's gone to the summer or winter house, there's always
Starting point is 00:43:11 been something going on. Yep. And so let's just have a good weekend, Schwartsey. But we get back to Jesse and Lexi, and he, it's so obvious from a dude's perspective.
Starting point is 00:44:37 And I'm curious if this is just overall, from a dude's perspective, what he's doing specifically is he is over lovey-dovey. He is love bomb. And he's doing all these things, checking on or calling her, it's not because he cares. He knows that he's fucked up and he has a guilty conscience. So he's overdoing it to try to make up for that. And also, most importantly, he's trying to gauge where she is at. That's why he says things like, are you okay? Here's a big hug.
Starting point is 00:45:08 Call you when you get there, call you on the way, call you five minutes later. He's doing all those things not because of anything but a guilty conscience, right? yeah it's guilty conscience it's kind of like veiled and jealousy as well yeah like the constant checking in is and we now know after last week and after what lexie said there is a lot of jealousy there i mean the fact that and look i do think it i do think at some level obviously calling her out for flirting with west was a move like a oh hey this is what i did now you're on the same it's a level playing. Now or even. But there is a very big part of that that is actual jealousy. He probably was watching her hold West up because West was fucking hammered and looked at it like, oh, the hell's she
Starting point is 00:45:55 doing. Don't touch you. Not even the fact that it's West. It's just another guy. He doesn't want to watch that. So there is a lot of jealousy there. And it's weird too because you can teach a whole class on this. Like we could do an entire curriculum on just what Jesse's doing with Lexi. There is so many different nuances through all of it. He's somehow self-sabotaging, but also planning seeds to come out clean from the self-sabotage. So that nobody can say, hey, you just self-sabotage this whole thing and kind of fucked with her and ruined her emotions. But now you're out of it. If somebody were to find that out, he's planting seeds so that when he does self-sabotage, because he knows it's going to happen. And he's planning on the self-sabotage, which is another
Starting point is 00:46:36 level now he can get out of it and be like well no she was doing this thing the whole time he didn't ever plan on and that's part of the lovey-dovey stuff let me just keep her here if she never really branches out and becomes friends with my friends then we're never going to have an issue because she's not talking to them about what i'm doing so if i keep her in this corner and isolate her with all this lovey-dovey stuff i'll be okay and i'll be able to get out of this scot-free it's spilling over and it always does you guys have a shared house this is what's going to happen lexy even says that if we weren't in a shared house, I don't think I would ever find out about it to us. You wouldn't. But this is also what happens. And there's two sides of the same coin here for Jesse. Now she's in a shared house and
Starting point is 00:47:13 she's finding out about the shit that you're doing when you're acting single on different weekends. So it's all going to implode and you're going to be at the center of it. He's going to act like he doesn't care. But deep down, it's going to be a huge hit to his ego. 100%. And it starts to become apparent to people in the house that are only privy to his side of the story. Obviously, that we saw with Amanda now we're seeing a conversation with west page and Amanda west like why is jesse in trouble man it's like it might be my fault i brought up the yellow flags and all this stuff and west like yeah like she's asking like unfollow and this and that like west is firmly on jesse's team at this moment and amanda starts explaining she's like
Starting point is 00:47:51 well there's two sides of this story like he's painting her as this super jealous person but then he's passive aggressive towards her and he's like down her neck all the time and West is like starting to like light bulb he's like wait I mean he did call on the way and say like I'm going to call you in like in a little bit like oh he's starting to have the winders pulled back he's like oh shit did I read this whole thing wrong it West is like every dude that's been around a friend that has been in a relationship or in some sort of situation ship that you just despise because you just hate being around that it's too much he's tuned it out he is just annoyed and he's not really reading into things he's not looking at things but when somebody brings it up like hey this is what i heard from lexie everything starts to click you're like shit i was ignoring a lot of that because it just irritated me and i was tired of being around it but might be wrong yeah that makes a lot of sense so yeah of course i'm going to support him but and maybe another light bulb clicks this could be over very soon and that would be very good for me so i think it's both i do think it's both and like when lexie or when amanda points out that
Starting point is 00:48:59 Lexi is the one that's hesitant with the boyfriend girlfriend label you West literally goes oh shit it's like yeah god I've read this whole thing wrong like I thought Jesse was doing like X Y it's actually not but anyway we get to Jesse and Lexi having the actual conversation and she leads it off because he's like are you upset with me she's like yes he's like you're to talk she's like yes why are you upset she's like you could actually say that I'm pissed at you I'm like hell yeah like you should be pissed out of them. There's a lot of shit here. I mean, the biggest underlying thing of all of it isn't even so much what's being said. It's that you're actively talking shit about her to all of your
Starting point is 00:49:38 friends behind her back when she's not at the house. That's problem number one. The details are problem number two. You shouldn't be doing this stuff to begin with, but that's what she brings up. She's like, it's a couple of things. You're talking shit behind my back about these yellow flags, all these stupid things. Meanwhile, you have these big fat red flags, a girl's your toe when i'm not here you act single i was like stoked that she brought that up again i'm like good like lay it all out there yeah his response can't control my idiot friend's say no brother you are doing all of this stuff and this brings me to my my point about jesse it's like just because you have an alternate reality where you are not the villain in this scenario
Starting point is 00:50:20 your constant behavior belittling and questioning the girl that you're exclusive with is inappropriate behavior the fact that you say things like i've only done a bunch of little stuff i think it was that big of a deal enough little stuff leads to a big issue of trust you have no reason to be trusted because you consistently put yourself in bad spots all she's asking from you is to be honest don't be gross don't make her look stupid you've done all three of those things consistently and when you're called out about it you blame everybody around you're the one perpetuating the actions your friends are finally picking up on the fact that you might not be in the right here and that Lexi might be then they're going to support her because now they feel bad for her finally we've been waiting for
Starting point is 00:51:04 finally so you can't go ahead obviously you're on camera so like i'll never be able to understand this no all of the things you're doing is on camera yeah you can do whatever you want you can send text messages you can ask people that and that and whatever and there are so many different levels in which you could have gotten out of this and it would have been like you know what i kind of kind of get it. When you're asking your friends, what do they think? Like, hey, I was talking to Lexi today. She made a big deal about me following people on Instagram. We didn't need to find out further down the line that it was people that you were following after you guys started hooking up. We would have never gotten to that point if you just cleaned it up. If you left it
Starting point is 00:51:41 at that, that's reasonable behavior. Because it did from the outside looking in look a little weird. You guys are moving a little fast. If you had some cautions, if you had some yellow flags that you want to call them, and you were asking your friends about them, fully fine, completely reasonable behavior. You took it so far after the toe suck, after this, after that, flirting with Sierra, acting single on the weekends, and doing that while also telling your friends all the crazy shit that Lexi's doing, you're painting her to be the bad person. So that's why I don't get it.
Starting point is 00:52:11 And I just really like how Lexi handled this conversation from jump. When he sat down and she took his sunglasses off and he wasn't even looking at her, I'm like, oh, yeah, all right. I, yeah, he was going to just not pay attention. He was just going to wait until you stop talking so that he could be defensive. That's what he was going to do. Yeah, and she, the way she speaks was impressive. Like the way that she points out with going on, she's very articulate with it.
Starting point is 00:52:35 She's like, your actions make other people feel icky. Yes, that's exactly it, because you're also putting all of your friends in a precarious position because now they have to. It's tough. If anybody ever told me that what I was doing was achy, I'd be like, oh. Oh, that's tough. I got to go home. Like, I got to go home. I got to take a shower.
Starting point is 00:52:55 I don't know what to do. Especially because now you feel icky because you're like, wow, they're all talking about me. Rightfully so because of your icky behavior. But like you don't act like you care on the weekends. Then in the weekdays, you're all in with me. It's like emotional whiplash. And he's like, well, it's going. And here he is trying to set up a fall guy, if you will.
Starting point is 00:53:14 He's like, well, it's all going so fast. And like, I feel like we're so fragile. Let's slow down that. Like, great response. like yeah okay fine pump the brakes like i'm not pushing this you are and now you're trying to like i'm the crazy person yep call his bluff because his response to let's slow down then was nothing he didn't have anything to say to that he said i care about you i love you i want to now he's playing her puppy dog because you just his only out was that you're moving too fast and then she's like
Starting point is 00:53:39 i'm not fuck you slow down and he's like which is also it's just insane because now obviously you're out like you're done we got you caught red handed at this point if she said slow down to you and we're to believe all of the things that you're telling all of your friends, that would be the happiest moment of your life. All right. Yeah. Let's take a step back. Let's slow down.
Starting point is 00:53:58 We'll reassess the situation. We'll see how we are. If that's really what you wanted, you would have jumped at that opportunity. And you know what? It probably would have fizzled out immediately. And then it wouldn't be that big of an issue moving forward. And we see, obviously, issue. And you're big of an issue.
Starting point is 00:54:15 But like, it obviously, it turns into something much worse in the next episode because we're seeing that. The next episode's going to be incredible, by the way. I can't wait. I cannot wait for any of that. But now you've got yourself caught once again by your own actions. You should just stop and be like, yeah, this really isn't going to work. And you could end it all right now. Just end the misery. Instead, you're going to extend it. And look, it's going to be great for us, but not for you. Yeah, but she just has a great response to every little thing he tries to spin. Her responses are awesome. She's like, your actions make me feel insecure. I can't date a guy like that and I'm getting little pieces of information all day long and that's not the person that I want
Starting point is 00:54:53 to be dating and by the way since day one I've been getting DMs people have been in my ear I ignored it until you gave me a reason to not trust you and now I'm listening and it's like good fuck yeah great response he's like well you're making me despise my friends no you did this this has nothing to do with the fact that they're now being honest and telling Lexi what's going on And then she's like, your actions. It's your voice. I can't be a robot. I'm not saying that, dude.
Starting point is 00:55:23 Don't talk shit about me. The downplaying responses is always going to be a go-to move. Yeah, he acts like it's not that big of a deal. It's embarrassing. It's embarrassing. You're too old to be doing this. I'm just happy that Lexi's gotten past the embarrassment because this could have gone a very different way.
Starting point is 00:55:38 And look, because of this relationship, we don't know a lot about Alexi. We don't know much about her because she hasn't been able to. You don't even know her name. We called her Alexi. Did I? Yeah. See, I don't even know her name because of Jesse. So thanks a lot.
Starting point is 00:55:51 But she's a new cast member that was never able to actually get ingratiated with the fans. Now she is she immediately jumped into this. And yes, a lot of that is her doing. I'm not going to act like Jesse is the full culprit here. She decided to jump into a relationship a weekend after meeting somebody. That's pretty crazy. But we didn't really know much. So going into this, I'm like, I really wonder how she's going to handle this.
Starting point is 00:56:12 Is she going to break down? Is it going to be some huge emotional? scene for her where Jesse's just like, no, I'm not going to do this. No, she was structured. She was right to the point and she had great responses to everything that he said. So I'm pretty happy to see that. Me too.
Starting point is 00:56:25 And ending it with, I'm not begging for a relationship here. Yeah. Like, I don't know what you want, but I'm not begging you to be with me. I was like, fuck yeah, dude. And he's like,
Starting point is 00:56:32 well, yes, we better get back to it. Don't want to miss the whole party. I'm like, that's what's important. The party, the snooze fest,
Starting point is 00:56:39 not making things right with the girl you're dating. Let's get back to the party because you realize that you're manipulative traits are not going to work here you got shut the fuck down and lexie's not putting up with it and then he's like i'm going to go that way you go that way i lost i lost this one but you get carl and sierra it's a little quick foreshadowing for when they get married and uh i was like look i can't deny it anymore like she's a babe like she listens to me i have an emotional connection with her i think i should just tell her which we he's going to next week i am to next week i'm i know you're cringing i'm so it's just i i like carl and i want the best for
Starting point is 00:57:22 carl a couple of weeks ago he said he wanted to rekindle that friendship with sierra they were really good friends i know just great friends start there man like yeah i'm not saying like look if we had a summer at like the end of this summer and all of next season were their friends and they're just having a great time yes it's very close to carl and lindsay being friends but If they were friends and then they started dating, I may be able to throw some weight and, you know, put my weight behind that one. All right. I'm into it.
Starting point is 00:57:52 I can see this happening. You can't do this right now. Just where Sierra is, where you are with your tan lines, you just can't. Well, it's what it does. It's like it's inadvertently coming off as rebounding because it's somebody you're comfortable with. You're spending a lot of time with them. So you feel safe.
Starting point is 00:58:12 It feels like you're trying to rebound. with something comfortable. It doesn't feel like a genuine spark. That being said, when they get married, I will fully support it. But you get to Paige and Lindsay. Maybe I'll get invited to the wedding. Yeah, maybe. But we get to Paige and Lindsay. And Lindsay is just exceptional this season. When she is on the screen, I just, I really like what she's doing this season. But she's asking her and page together are just great. Dynamite. Such a great duo. Yeah, I agree with you. But are you okay? She's like, you know, the anxiety really got to me. me, but hey, and this is why Page is great, because a lot of people don't do this.
Starting point is 00:58:48 A lot of people don't notice the small things. She will always ask other people how they are. It's never only about her. And to the point where sometimes she needs to talk more about the shit she's going through because she bottles it up. But she's always inquisitive about other people, which I've always appreciated. But she's like, what about you? She's like, fuck, three months to a baby.
Starting point is 00:59:05 And it's like, wow, yeah, that's true. Like, we're going to have a baby in the summer house next year. I'm looking forward to that. But they start talking. and jesse and lexie obviously in the fact that he's painting this picture of her being this lunatic but it's actually not looking that way and so we call lexie over i love that move to i'm like good yes she's finally involved it's not even just for vindication in the jesse thing more so like we got so much closer to her as a fan base in one episode than we have in the last 10 it's like okay
Starting point is 00:59:41 now we can dig into this character who she is we can support her more we got the cast finally jumping on board page is the voice of reason we really needed we've we've kind of been waiting for this this check from page to be like dude yeah let's really lay this out there like you guys have been dating for a month and a half you've been known each other for a month and a half if it's this tense already you need to back the fuck off like this is not it for you and like the hypocrisy the double standard that's going on it's just it's insane and i like that lexie is now and you can give her credit two
Starting point is 01:00:14 ways in this up until this point she hasn't shared any of the stuff that's rubbed her the wrong way with jesse like the west stuff like him accused her being over flirtate she was protecting him all the way up until this point and now she's like you know what he's not protecting me so fuck him she brings up the west stuff page's face says it all like what are you fucking serious that's not even remotely the same thing and while lexie really likes him it's like look if you have to say that i've changed so much for this person you should not be with that person that claims they had to change for you walk away walk away from this whole thing and by the way as this is happening west and jesse you're talking and it's the
Starting point is 01:00:53 same general conversation obviously he's in the wrong but it's like they both mentioned foundation what foundation you just met so on lexie standpoint get out of this because you don't deserve to be treated like this a month in and from jesse's standpoint you don't have a foundation what are you doing Yeah. And I love that like the buildup to the both of the conversations, the way that we get to see it is cinematic. It is great because you have everybody finally talking about it. You have the West realization like, oh, yeah, this is, it's more than just annoying. It doesn't make any sense. You shouldn't be here. And the way that you guys have been operated makes zero sense. And also, I can get my boy back. So I'm actually kind of happy about this. And West's conversation was very funny because he's like, oh, oh, oh, yeah. All right. Wait. Yeah. Yeah. you guys don't have a foundation what do you do it's been a month and a half what are you talking about i love that that's that was west's approach because that is the final little nail in the coffin like hey yeah no this doesn't make any sense i i've been holding back just because i've been annoyed by all of this but i'm going to jump in right now and just tell you what the fuck are you doing
Starting point is 01:02:00 and finally lexie gets some vindication from everybody else hey we've noticed it too what do you do it month and a half in you're dealing with all this shit you got to cut the cord you just got to go get no reason. Yeah, there isn't. And that's like a great, great rule of thumb. If you are this tense a month in, it's like to get better. You're not going to find some like a magic thing that fixes it. It's only going to get worse. And the more seriously it's going to get worse. But let's get to some questions. Yep. I'll start with this one because I agree with it. From Ryland McDee 15. Do you think production's doing Gabby and M Rule 30? I do. I don't think we're getting enough out of them and I don't blame
Starting point is 01:02:40 I've learned too much the clip that we got of Emroll was just oh he's got another sex party it's like come on enough we don't hear anymore no I think that they are I think that they we've learned enough about Bravo production especially over this past like year that yes
Starting point is 01:02:56 I do believe that they probably are doing more and I believe that they are not showing more and so yeah I do blame production there oh a deer in the headlights I kind of ship Carl and Sierra is that crazy absolutely not you're on my team no yeah yeah steel's gonna steal's gonna ship that all day room over here all day room over here there is a lot of room for a reason uh i'll ask you this one from g maloney 24 how do you feel about tan lines uh i think they're cool i think they can be sexy uh on me
Starting point is 01:03:30 personally so like my tan lines i typically you get you get the golf tan lines like the golf tan lines like the shorts are fine because like I'll always go like a little bit shorter on the shorts anyway I'm going to the five inch in seams this year it's gonna be fucking great I'm so proud of you welcome yeah dude yeah well I do have a couple like my lulu shorts are all five inches but for like khaki shorts and stuff like that going to five inches it's the move to just show off the legs get some fucking tan but I do get those very unsightly golf tan lines that you just spoke of where just my left hand will be white as hell and right around my ankle will be also very white So those are not attractive on women, however, love them. I think they're great. There you go. Yeah. Let's see. From Kieran McDy.
Starting point is 01:04:19 Oh, there's a two-parter. Is Schwartz popping up in two different shows in two days over doing it on the Schwartz front? Or is it a breath of fresh air and we need more shorts in our lives? I think it's great. He's the perfect person to do it because he's just going to be there. He's going to get involved in the fun. And then he's going to say something, philosophical that may or may not hit but he's never going to cause like a bad stir in another
Starting point is 01:04:42 house he's very respectful of other people's shows so i love it i think it's the perfect role for him just keep we said it earlier just keep putting him in different shows and it can be anything housewife can be great villa it's fucking perfect so yeah i love the shorts move uh i love this question from uh petrovan have we ever seen the porch clear no and this was by far the worst that i've seen that porch. And I know they had a ton of stuff for the party. That is typically why the porch is so crazy. But it was stacked outside and then you would walk in that door and there's just a huge pile of more Amazon boxes. It was crazy to see that one. Yep. Oh, this is interesting from Lem vibes. Why don't the bed bug see that him rule is the only honest guy on Bravo? I mean,
Starting point is 01:05:26 you may not like his his sex life and how opening is about things, but you cannot deny that he is the the least red flaggy person on any shows because he is flat out this is what I'm doing this is what I like I'm not getting a relationship I'm not leading you on love me or hate me yes I actually agree with that lem nice job let's do two more uh from destiny and Mitchell is page's speech to Lexi to leave just her talking to her younger self slash projecting I don't think so I think the pages page is very in touch with especially when it comes to dating and just kind of girl talk in general. I think that was just heartfelt advice,
Starting point is 01:06:06 not really any sort of projecting. I really think she's also great at compartmentalizing. You know, she really puts her shit on the back burner if she doesn't want to address it. So I do think this was completely specific to Lexi's situation. We needed this. We needed Paige or Lindsay to drop the hammer on it.
Starting point is 01:06:23 So I'm glad one of them did it. And again, and someone in here asked it, I'll find it so I don't. Yeah, from Sarah Polardi. I love seeing the growth in Paige and Lindsay's relationship. think everyone can agree there it's it's yeah for sure like they are a dynamic duo for sure and i'm going to ask this one and then i'm going to read one more because the fact that you guys
Starting point is 01:06:44 are wacky you can't ask these things kieran mcd again go to porn category come no no no we're not come on come on we're we're a nice christian voice yeah and then the last one is my one of my favorites honestly from wayhine 214 tan line porn is a popular thing grew up on a beach and all the boys were into tan lines surfing emoji thank you that is a great one ended on that is a great one that ended on well done but uh yeah look i mean the bottom line above all else fucking great season they're they're hitting on all cylinders i'm i'm thrilled for where we're at And coming off of, you know, a couple of down years. This has been arguably the best season in four years.
Starting point is 01:07:35 Yeah, so I would agree with that. Nice job. The bottom, bottom line, go birds. Go birds. Yeah, we won the suit. Great draft. Great draft. Pay attention, everybody.
