Good afternoon, everybody.
Welcome back to another episode of Rosen Shows.
I'm your co-host, Steele Russell, joined as always by the one and only South Beach Shooter.
What's up, dude?
Oh, that is sexy.
I like that one.
Yeah.
Really gets you going.
Look, we're just taking this day by day here, just trying to figure out what the hell's going on with this Gertie Julia situation.
It is becoming more and more clear, but Julia is delusion.
and there is nothing there.
I don't know what's going on.
Like, I imagine there's a little more to the story.
I keep waiting for it.
Me too, and I'm confused as to, like,
we haven't gotten the other side of it from Julia.
What we have gotten from her isn't damning evidence.
The only thing we really have to go off of that would, like,
sway this in some kind of direction is Kiki,
saying that Gertie's being too much.
That I'll give some merit to,
but I don't know how that correlates to what's going on between her and Julia.
I don't think it's necessarily fair.
I think there are two separate things when Kiki went through that situation and when she was just trying to explain Gertie's personality.
I get it.
I truly get it.
And Gertie obviously responded exactly how she would in that situation, which is her personality.
But is it vastly different from anyone else in the group?
They all do the same thing.
Like, I don't understand why we're just completely isolating Gertie.
being like your personality is why you're in this position when everybody else does it i mean look
at julia she's going to be friends with alexia and marisol they cut people off all the time and just
go for their own personal agenda but she wants to be friends with them she's seemingly moving away
from the people who have been good to her in the past and yeah i would say adriana is more
her best friend but gerty's always been pretty good to julia in the past and she's always
been there for her there's got it maybe there's just some sort of falling out that neither of them
identified or neither of them really spoke on and now this is just kind of hitting the tipping point
where they're not really friends so now they're kind of seeing each other's flaws and they're like
I don't really like this I'm just going to react I mean you're seeing splits with adriana
and julia as well so I'm and the people that were saying that she's being too much it's really
we get a scene like of alexia at dinner with the other ladies and it was that dinner with johnny
i think they're like are you going to invite gerty and she makes a face and I'm like oh man
know what's going on. But then I'm like, okay, Julia's been spending more time with Alexia and Marisol.
They're getting Julia's side of that whole thing, which makes sense that they would be like,
oh, we're not inviting her. And more proof to our theory that the closer you get to Alexia and Marisol,
the fur that you get from other people, Julia and Adriana, there's a distance growing between them,
and they were besties. And that that conversation was a little bit more sad. I'm still trying to wrap my head
around the Gertie and Julia thing, but seeing the two of them sit down together with
Adriana and Gertie, or I'm sorry, Adriana and Julia, that one was a little bit more
sad because that's just Adriana being like, where's my best friend?
Where are you?
What's going on?
I miss you.
So, and we'll talk a little bit more about that when we get to that point in the episode.
But you are right.
Yeah, the closer that, seemingly the closer that you get to Alexia and Marisol, the further
you get from the group, which is so wild.
They do this like, somehow the two of them are able to do this magic trick where they are so
far apart from the rest of the group and yet they're somehow right in the middle and it doesn't
make a whole lot of sense it's probably because they're well established in their position and julia
is currently moving away so it's a little bit more polarizing and the way that she's handling it is
crazy so that's even more polarizing so i think people are just kind of talking about it's just a talking
point at this point but yeah i don't know it's it's a week by week basis and i think if i had to
guess right now we're going to get to a point where we don't understand what the hell's going on we
never get more information and we're going to get a little tired of it i think so uh if it keeps going
at this direction we need the full scope of what happened we need them to sit down and talk so that we
there is no full scope what if we're already getting the full scope we just we're just sitting and waiting
for like some bombshell to drop like gerty said this when julia was going through something or
julia said this to gerty when she was going through something and like and it's like okay there you go
there we have it but if that never happens i don't know yeah i think if it drags on too long and we've
seen this a lot on housewife shows if we're at like episode seven or eight and we're still at the
same point where we have no more information there's no new things coming to light and they're
still like at each other's throats sometimes it might be a little entertaining because they do
fight in a very interesting way but other times we're just going to be like why why are we still
doing this yeah it runs that risk but let's jump into this episode congrats to marisal and steve they're
getting officially they've had multiple weddings quote unquote yep but they're like ceremonies they're
the one in Scotland I think there was another one at some point in there but I love I love this
I think it's great too but this is the way that they're making it official I love that they're going to
the courthouse that's badass so motorcycle yeah and that's the other thing because like in the beginning
we're talking about how getting close to Alexia and Marisol is bad Alexia and Marisol are great on
their own yes they're over here the rest of the ladies you know
you come and go at your own risk,
but like we like them for the show and with each other and individually.
As we've seen,
and it's really interesting because when we started covering Miami,
I think it was the first season back from hiatus when it was just on peacock
and it wasn't even on Bravo.
And we were even saying at the time,
like this is incredible,
but we didn't like Marisol and we didn't see a whole lot of Marisol.
We just saw her contributions to the group, if you will.
During the group settings,
she would just interject.
She was always talking about cockies and we're like,
all right, enough from her.
We've had enough.
I don't like the way that her and Alexia are scheming,
but this is now three seasons later,
four seasons later, I guess.
And now we're looking at this like,
I really like Marisol.
She's getting these moments.
You got to learn how to view Marisol.
Once you get to know the character that she is,
you're like,
okay,
then it starts to be more entertaining
and you start to root for as we are now,
which is good.
Because I also,
I just feel better when I watch like a good relationship,
a good marriage,
even just like the small,
The little things, when Steve walks in and he goes,
what do you think about the loafers, the sneakers?
She goes, ah, go with the sneakers.
They're going to look so good on the motorcycle, especially.
Like, hell, yeah, that was a genuine answer.
I love that.
Yeah, it's super sweet.
Meanwhile, Adriana and Amari are still hanging out.
There's rumors out there now that he is paid to be on the show with her.
I don't want to do it yet.
I don't want to do it either.
We'll hang on to that one.
We'll put that one in our back pocket.
We'll come back to it at some point.
She got a clean slate.
I can't do it.
I'm not going to go under the bus.
I'm just saying keep that in the back of your head as we go through this whole thing.
It makes so much sense, but whatever.
You know what?
No, because we're already kind of getting there.
Later, she said that she really likes French blood sausage.
Yeah, bro.
French sausage was too much.
French blood sausage was way too far.
But, like, it's just funny to watch how she's operating now.
Like, that beach, I know that South Beach is, there's parts of it that are nude.
beaches. But when you look around that beach and that situation that's going on,
and then she runs down and just pull her top off, I was like, it didn't seem the time or
place. I mean, do you? No King Chamon. I don't know. It's just a funny moment. But let's get to
Frankie and Alexia. And they're planning a surprise celebration for Marisol, a little wedding reception
after the fact that she doesn't know about. And they're getting like a Todd update. So obviously
Frankie's going through it. Alexia's going through it. It's a
the whole thing.
But it's sad to see that like Frankie understands this,
like what he's going through with the whole Todd of it all.
And when you watch a scene like this,
it's like,
why would you give this dude the time of day?
Like,
why would you,
I get that they've been married and it's like deeper than just saying like,
leave the guy.
But I don't know.
I mean,
this seems like an opportunity to like clean break.
It's so interesting to watch Alexia go through this because we're deciding,
to just take it for face value and not just go immediately off the conspiracy deep end.
And in that moment, the one thing that Alexia has that she's always had is that she's a great mom.
She's an incredible mother, and she's always great when it comes to Frankie.
And the way that she explains how Frankie's feeling about all of this, I have the same thing that you do.
How are you even considering going back to this guy?
He did irreparable damage to Frankie, and he's going to have to mend that relationship.
And I'm sorry, but we've seen a ton of Todd in the last two seasons.
there's no fucking chance that he is capable of repairing that relationship in a good,
healthy way.
He's a fucking dickhead.
So there's no chance that he's going to be able to do that and make your son feel safe
again.
And that is the most important part of your life right now.
So I just don't see how she's even considering it.
And obviously, it's easy for me to say on the outside looking in, but I don't understand
Alexia being this great mom that we've come to known looking at this.
It's like, uh, like how are we considering this?
I don't know.
That's kind of a bummer, but she facetimes Lisa to invite her to the party.
We find out that Lisa is in Canada right now.
It looks like her father passed away in between last episode and this one.
So that's super sad.
So she's up north getting that all squared away.
And from there, we get back to Marisol and Steve.
And we get to hear about their meat cute, you know, with the swimsuit left at the house.
I guess Marisol was the realtor and he went to buy the house.
The suit was left in the house.
He called her to come get the suit.
He's like, why don't you come over on Friday?
Next thing you know, me, oh, and now they're getting hitched, which is nice.
That's fun.
It's a lovely story.
It is a lovely story.
And they're getting ready for the wedding.
They're just so cute.
You know, they seem like they're genuinely happy with each other.
We love good relationships on Bravo.
It's so like scarce anymore that we get to just enjoy a good marriage, a good relationship.
We always have so many questions, usually on the dude aspect.
The dudes have just been so much work.
us every year. So it's always nice when we get, and obviously, you know, Steve's been around for a while,
but when we get to see something like this, it kind of just takes everything away. It's a guy.
True love still exists. Yeah. There's still, there's still gentlemen out there. We just get a whole
wave of shitty people from this network. But hey, whatever. It's nice to see these two. And obviously,
they're getting married for the right reasons. They've been married for a while, quote, unquote,
now but this is to protect each other it's like all right we know we're going to be together forever
let's make sure we can take care of each other legally get that money and i was confused about that
she does she says it like three times even like just joking around i think she's joking around but
she said it enough that i started to question like wait is there a payday involved in this like what
are we getting here i would imagine steve's worth a lot of money so she's just saying but she was saying
for him to get that money though so then i was even more confused that's why i didn't take it
It's a serious thing.
Yeah, I probably shouldn't
know.
Yeah, I think you're digging too far into it
because look, she even says it.
She's the happiest that she's ever been.
So don't you sit there and speculate.
We appreciate that.
Yeah.
I'm trying to poke holes in our happy.
Don't blame me.
Do not blame me.
This network has ruined my brain on me.
Do we call them assholes on Bravo?
Do we call them eligible bachelors on People magazine?
I don't know.
Hey now.
Nicely done.
Let's check in with Adriana.
She's going to meet up with Julia at a coffee shot.
regular milk at a vegan restaurant.
That was funny.
I enjoyed that scene.
She's like,
Skim,
regular milk.
Oh,
milk from a cow.
Yeah,
what the fuck are you talking about?
I would have brought my own.
Yeah,
we're vegan.
She's 80% vegetarian,
though.
And I guess that 20% is reserved for Amari's penis.
So,
glad we got to hear that one.
Blood sausage,
not once,
but twice.
Thank you, Adri.
Is there even such a thing as French blood sausage?
I thought was English sausage.
I don't know if it's French Scottish.
I suppose if you make it in France, it would therefore be French blood sausage.
It's a poor euphemism for a penis.
I hate it.
Yeah, I didn't care for it either.
I'm just trying to say it so many times that I get comfortable with it, you know?
But did you hear what she responded to that text?
I don't, yeah.
He's like, who are you texting?
Oh, it's actually an insurance company.
I was like, did she respond to one of those scam text messages?
it's like alert your insurance is like blah blah blah did she actually reply to that probably um
i mean if you're familiar with uh the newest scam work it's that your license is going to be suspended
because you have unpaid tolls so i could if i did have to pick one housewife on this show that probably
would respond unfortunately unfortunately for her lisa would run it through jody first
and then he would say no but you know adriana she said that out of i was like oh boy i was like she
is falling for a scam.
Don't do it.
That could be in the next episode.
Adjana goes,
do you feel like the producers have like a responsibility to step in
when they see something really dumb like that?
Like, oh, oh.
Hey, don't answer that.
Don't knock her phone out of her hand.
Come on.
But Julia arrives and she's upset with Adriana
because Adriana hasn't called her to ask about the babies
and she feels some type of way about that.
But meanwhile, Adriana feels some type of way about how she,
found out because and honestly like when she initially said it i was like oh come on and i'm like well
they are best friends you know i've been through a lot and she was just kind of upset that she found
out with everybody she's like i would have liked to have gotten that phone call before but she also
feels bad enough that she's like well i want to do a baby shower for you and the boys which is
yeah i thought that was the appropriate response to because if she kind of lost me in the beginning
at first just like i get it but don't make this about you this is something that's
that Julia was waiting for and she finally got it.
So, like, you know, just let her do it how she wants to do it.
Let the announcement go, how she wants to go, unless it's that you can't get back into
the Zoom and she says, look at the press and you'll figure it out tomorrow, which is a crazy
thing to do for a Miami housewife.
Like, hey, look at the tabloids.
Like, which tabloids fucking page six?
I have to go online to go read this.
Like, it's not going to be in the newspaper, but I'll digress from that.
But wait, as soon as she recovered with the baby shower thing, I'm like, all right, cool.
And then I wasn't sure if Julia was going to be doubt.
for it. So that was a little interesting
too. She was. She was
but in a confessional we get
Adriana speaking about this distance
that's starting to grow and she
says exactly what our theory was
it's like the closer she gets to
Alexia and Marisol the further she gets from me
there's a lot of evidence
for that. We've seen this
happen right? It's not like it's new
so that would explain
obviously the Adriana thing but that really
explains the Gertie thing.
it does explain the gertie thing and there i think there is another layer to this that i i know i do
give adriana a clean slate every year but being her best friends in this group and on this show
is probably exhausting and julia has been involved in so many wars that adriana is waging for
no fucking reason simply because she's her best friends and if you do flip we've seen this in the
past if you don't back her up adriana gets pissed she gets mad at you for not backing her up
even if it's not like something to be backed up on yeah it's like hey i wrote a letter to marisol's
liver and i hand delivered it at the reunion which now a couple years later i think it is kind
of funny but at the time i was so fed up with adriana's antics that i didn't even laugh at it
if i'm julia i'm probably livid like why are we doing this again why are you poking the bear i know
they don't like you and i know you're trying to be friends of them or you don't like them depending
on the day whatever but it probably is exhausting so it doesn't explain the gertie thing because that's
completely different. And obviously, you don't have to become friends with Marisol and Alexia
because you're no longer backing up, Adriana. But just simply that, that she doesn't want to
back her up anymore and she doesn't want to be as close to her anymore because she keeps getting
there into shit, I kind of do understand. That I get. I understand that part of it. I don't know.
It's just, it's all going to come down to how this gertie thing shakes out. That's going to affect
my opinion on a lot. So I'm curious if we'll actually get some kind of resolve there. I don't know
if we will.

The Twisted Tale of Amanda Knox is an eight-episode Hulu Original Limited series that blends
gripping pacing with emotional complexity, offering a dramatic,
look as it revisits the wrongful conviction of Amanda Knox for the tragic murder of Meredith
Kircher and the relentless media storm that followed. The twisted tale of Amanda Knox is now streaming
only on Disney Plus. We'll find out, but Gertie and Kiki are doing Pilates. I got to ask,
do they know that guy? I hope so. Right? I would imagine it's probably like,
I'm knowing Kiki, it's probably like Kiki's Pilate instructor or something, and they just didn't really tell us that.
I just hope that this guy knows everybody because of the shenanigans that, that, that followed.
Really stretching out my butthole. Like, we don't have a stretch for that in here.
Yeah. She's like, she's like patting her, her JJ, like, with his, he's right in the middle.
And I was like, okay, this could be problematic if you don't know this person.
So that's my own question. Even if you do, it's a little problematic, especially on.
camera and in business but that's yeah okay i'm glad i just you know i love keeky i felt the same way
but i was like is this okay the the butthole stretch comment was very funny and i loved that he was
like we don't we don't have a stretch for that here don't do that here and then i saw him like look
around i'm like was he looking at somebody in the corner like get back in there come on no butthole
stretches today yeah but what they're talking about is the garty stuff and she says you know
It was so nice during my treatment and everything, Alexi was so supportive.
And Kiki's taken aback.
That's when we get the cutscene of dinner the other night.
And it was like, oh, are you going to invite Gertie?
And she hesitates and makes a face.
And I was like, what's going on?
Like, what are we missing here?
Because we're missing a very key piece of something that we are not privy to.
That would make a lot of this make more sense.
But again, that's where I'm like, okay, it's Alexia and it's Marisol, who are now friendly
with Julia, is Julia barking at them about how Gertie's been acting via the crews and all
that?
So they have a different approach to the whole thing.
That's where I'm at with it, but I don't have any confirmation of that.
And Kiki's saying, you know, they're saying you're too much, you're too extra, you need to calm
down.
But like that, that's where I started to get a little annoyed.
And obviously, you know, Gertie immediately reacts, which just kind of proves Kiki's point.
And I look at the rest of the cast and like, they all kind of do it.
So I don't really understand going after Gertie intentionally and just by
herself because she's not really that different from everybody else in the way that they
react or the way that they carry on things so it doesn't really seem like that big of an issue
and obviously you know we're only privy to what happens on the show so maybe there is more
out there maybe gerty does this all the time and the other women don't really do it as much
i don't really know and you can speculate as much as you want and i do think i'm going to give
this probably this episode i feel like we didn't get any more information of course but the state
of mind that Julia was in at the end, we were never going to get any real answers at that point.
It seems like she's going through something.
She has to be.
Or maybe it's just a big life change of not like having two kids now.
It could be the two kids plus Martina going to cancer tree.
And maybe she's just like and I can sympathize there.
It's just we're missing something.
There has to be.
A vital piece of this whole thing.
If we don't get it soon, I'm going to be a little annoyed.
I will too.
But yeah, Gertie, we've seen her get into situations before where she doesn't really do herself any favors because she'll just double, triple, quadruple down instead of just coming to a solution and just figuring it out and moving past it, she'll just cut you off.
And I think she could get to that point with Julia, if this keeps happening, especially after how the end of the episode goes, she could just get to the point where she cuts her off and she just refuses to even speak to her, which we've seen her do to multiple people.
She did it to Larsa last year.
I still don't think she's talking to Larsa.
So, I mean, it could just go down that road, which is fine.
I'm actually okay with it because we don't talk about the same thing forever,
but it doesn't really work if you're going to do that to multiple people in the cast.
It's going to make things very awkward.
Yeah, it just creates a divide that we like when there's drama,
but when you have full divides of people not talking, it's a bad, bad formula for a good show.
But we're jumping back and forth now between,
Adriana and Julia, Gertie and Kiki, and Adriana brings up the Julia and Gertie stuff.
And to sum up where Julia seems to be coming from, Gertie makes everything about herself.
She recaps the cruise and everything.
And it's like, it's still so confusing to me because she's saying that she made the cruise
all about herself, but we don't know now who invited who.
We don't know if Gertie said, I'm coming, or if Julia called her sobbing and asked her to
go when they did go there was a night prior where captain sandy was there and they all hung out
and then the following night captain sandy was hosting an event and that's the one that gerty got
the cold shoulder on because originally martina was supposed to go martina didn't go on the boat so
they took martina off the list and then we heard that gerty had to go do her own thing while julia went
in there so the evidence that i have i still think that julia's in the wrong
I think Julia is probably in the wrong.
If I had to figure out what the truth is, because the truth is in there somewhere,
Martina had to leave or wasn't actually going to be able to go.
She calls Gertie crying or not.
She called Gertie and begged her to come on.
Gertie agreed, even though she didn't really want to.
And then Julia, and then, you know, whether it's just the fact that Julia was like,
okay, like, yeah, why don't you go do your own thing?
I'm going to do my thing.
It is probably really annoying for Gertie because she's like, I just got done with something.
I just started unpacking and now I'm going back out for you and you're just leaving me
high and dry so that you can go do whatever and rub your shoulders around whoever or rub elbows
but yeah so like that's what I would try to figure out I feel like that's probably it but again
at the end of all of that as we learned last week Gertie texted Julia and said you know what
like didn't really get to see you blah blah blah I'll see around like yeah she's rightfully so
she's a little pissed off because of the way that that transpired and it seems like Julia
can't handle it. Julia is thinking that it's like shit talking and instead of just trying to fix it and
like apologize or try to understand where Gertie's coming from, she immediately just takes the stance
of, oh, well, if she's going to be like that, then she's just dismissive. She doesn't care about my life
and she doesn't care about what Martina's going through. It's like, well, I mean, you don't really
care about Gertie's life. You made her drop all of her shit to join you on a cruise because your
wife couldn't make it and you weren't nice to her. So you're still in the wrong no matter what.
So she's like super defensive for no reason. Yeah, I don't know.
We'll talk more about it at the end, but Lisa and Jody, we check in with them and they're going to their dad's, or to Lisa's dad's funeral.
And we know that they just recently reconnected and her dad was an alcoholic when she was growing up.
So there's a lot of, a lot of conflicting feelings there.
But she does want to go speak at his funeral and love or hate him.
Jody does seem to be really supportive.
So credit or credits do there.
And it's just a thing that I don't really believe when they go to Jody.
I don't think he's, like, in it for her money.
I don't think he's like, we haven't really seen him be controlling.
That doesn't make any sense to me because he's been $16,000 a month to help pay her rent.
So, yeah, so I think that they're just, they don't like him.
And that's fine if you don't like them.
But like, don't make shit up.
That was a witch hunt.
That was a fucking witch hunt.
That was a full witch hunt.
You know, I know that we made our picture for the questions last week, his picture.
When I saw it again this week, I didn't think it was this bad.
it's not that bad i saw it on tv and i was like all right that's that's just kind of his face
yeah but but yeah he seems super supportive and he seems like he actually loves her
and he seems like he had to get through all the letting shit last year and now they're finally
in a place where it's just the two of them and we see lisa go crazy and he seems to handle it
fine so what more could you really ask for you know what i mean i don't really i don't get weird
vibes. I get very weird vibes from him personally, but in the relationship, I don't get weird
vibes. Yeah. I don't know. Again, we'll talk about that at the end. I'm glad we're getting more
Kiki this season where we're starting to dive into her backstory more because all we'd ever get is
at the reunion or in a side convo was her talk about her. Dad kicked her out of the house when she was
15 with nothing but a backpack. She's dating somebody, but he doesn't want to be on the camera and
like, yeah, all that stuff. So we don't really get to know her, but she's such a delight on screen. So I'm
glad they were getting more from her her and her daughter summer ago i've seen this place
advertised before a football player went here with his daughter what was it was on instagram damn
did you write it down what it was called no i forgot it ice cream palace no there was one it's an ice cream
museum but i don't know if that was it is it is yeah it is that what it is yep yep yeah i've seen
it um in reels and tic talks and stuff it looks pretty sick i would i would definitely
pumped love ice cream that place looked awesome
one one on my board for draft if we had the draft things in our lives ice cream a million
mine's pizza um ice cream right away from there at least we're not conflicting so we're not going to
get each other's way that's cool well you can have ice cream and pizza oh we can yeah yeah
we can have a party no rules yeah oh that's a great party there's no rules
but they're discussing her dad and her mom is there as well and obviously it's a strained
relationship and he's now trying to reenter her life now obviously kiki's hesitant given the relationship
with this man but i guess in haian culture it's it's still very important to respect your parents
even her mom and her mom says like yeah he's an asshole is pretty much what it sums up to pretty much
but you still have to respect him even though it kicked you out of the house when you're 15 because
your stepmom told you to fuck off you still got to respect him so she's battling with
that and she's not sure what she wants to do but the end of the day again i'm just stoked where we're
finally diving into kiki's life more yeah this is more personal story from kiki than we've gotten
in three seasons three years oh it's it's just nice to see and we've been we've been asking for it
we weren't really sure why she wasn't you know she seems a little private and she's great
in group settings she seems like the person that a lot of people go to and we've seen a lot more of
that too which is great because she seems to be a great mediator she's
kind of in between. She likes everybody and she's liked by everybody, which is important for
somebody in the group because we do have a lot of friend loves in this cast. So if we get
somebody who can do that and be in the middle, give good advice, go both ways and tell each other,
hey, you're fucking up, you're fucking up, whoever it might be, without any like immediate
pushback. That's what we need, especially in a big group like this. I agree. But let's get
to Marisol's reception is what I called it. I know it's not literally one, but,
surprise reception she called it that though too wait oh okay she kind of called it that
yeah i feel like she called it that early in the episode maybe it was a weird confessional
i don't know but she did refer to it as like having a reception i don't know whatever
i have no idea who knows but the intro bum me out because larses talking to alexia
and it's more todd talk and i thought we had like a breakthrough moment the other night
at the dinner table and obviously seeing frankie and that whole thing earlier and how she reacted
I was like, oh, that's not the same energy we saw.
And then this, she's back to the balls in his court stuff.
And I do not care for Larsa.
And the irony here hurts my head.
But she's correct in saying, like, that dude sucks.
And I'm not going to sit around and wait for him to make a decision.
It's like, okay, separation anxiety.
Like, you don't get to really comment on this.
You're not wrong in your sentiment.
Not wrong.
In a way that only Larsa can do.
Yeah, I know.
Like, it bums me out that we're now back to, we're waiting for Todd's decision.
It's like the other night, you were like, fuck him.
That's why I feel like it is so genuine the way that she's conflicted, because she does flip-flop so quickly.
And I think she was planning this party with her friends who owns the place.
That's what she, that's, it was Alexia who said reception.
So she was planning the party, and that's what she was.
And that must have been like a day or two before this.
Now we're sitting here two days later and she's completely flip-flop to the, or at least back to neutral.
and she's, if not, like, leaning a little bit more towards Todd.
So I think she genuinely is conflicted and she doesn't know what to do.
So it seems like much like their marriage was, they're going through days of, oh, shit, this is awful to I love him so much.
I can't imagine life without him.
And he's doing the same thing.
It's very weird.
I don't think he's doing the same thing.
He was, I mean, he was a lot last season, but it was like love bombing.
It was interesting to see.
He was last season and he left her.
Yeah, I know.
So it's, it's just a bad situation.
I hope she gets the fuck out of it.
I do too.
That guy's a douche nozzle.
I really hope that she sees the light of day here.
But as Gertie walks into this thing, and I love Kiki, but this was an interesting move.
Because Kiki announces to the whole table, she thinks that Julia is brainwashing you guys.
It's like, okay, that set up a disaster waiting to happen.
Yeah.
Couldn't let this happen organically.
You just offended everybody at the table.
table. Yeah. And you threw Gertie under the bus. Is it a good move as far as the show goes? Absolutely. Absolutely. Great move. And Kiki has shown up to play. And I love that. But as a friend, I was like, ooh, that's a little slime. You just immediately pitted everybody at the table against Gertie. So. So when shit pops off, you better be super supportive of Gertie. And that didn't happen. It was interesting. It was a very weird. Strange thing to watch.
And Gertie comes in with a chip on her shoulder because she goes up to Julia and she's like,
oh, you look like a friend I used to know.
I was like, damn.
And then Juliet and confessional was like, same.
Like, ah, that doesn't hit quite the same at the time.
Yeah, you got to say it then, probably.
But I just love the behind the scenes action for that, the confessional like a week later.
Like, how did you feel when Gertie walked in and said you look like a friend that I used to now?
And she goes, same.
Yeah.
That's what, that's what we got.
Okay.
Got her.
Burned.
But Marisol and Steve arrive and she showed up in an eye patch, which looked great because
she woke up with a sty, which sucks.
Sties are the worst.
Have you ever gotten one?
Dude, if you can throw on a like a cool, yeah, I've gotten this guy before.
If you can throw on like a cool designer eye patch because you have a sty, probably like a little
bit of like maybe you got like a little bit of ice in there or something just like keep the
swelling down.
Who, that's drip.
That is drip beyond belief.
I loved it.
depth perception wise you're going to get in some trouble but yeah especially you have a couple of cockies
you only got one eye to look out well see i was thinking that due to her cocky intake
she might fare better than others with fucked up depth perception i didn't think about that yeah
she's an old pro at this that's what i'm saying so if anyone can do it she can now let's get to
the whole crew at the dinner table we get a milan update i think this is a very strange time
to talk about this considering her dad died like yesterday or so but if we know anything about larissa
timing is not her thing so larissa she already decided she was going to talk about this like three days
ago yeah absolutely and they start talking talking about the marcus shit and she's still like this is so
frustrating now we're still blaming lisa for what jody did even fabulous said she's not wrong
If you can't trust Fabo, then who are we going to trust in this world?
Rappers are the most loyal people in the world, according to Larsa.
So we need to just ask all of futures baby mamas.
Portia?
A crossover event.
But yeah, the way that they broke this down, it's so interesting because it had such a different tone last week when they did the preview.
They did the preview.
It's like, oh, they kind of got back together.
Oh, shit.
Jody went and did a lot of AC and then came back out and just flipped on everybody.
And now this is what he looks like.
This conversation is not what I thought we were going to get.
I immediately was like, whoa, whoa, hold on.
Her dad just died.
Let's like relax a little bit on the whole situation.
And even the way Larson is talking about it, she's like, you know, she finally saw it from my point of view.
She unfollowed Marcus.
She said she's going to do right by me.
That's probably not how the conversation went.
There was probably some more concessions.
There's probably some concessions on both sides.
But Larson is not going to admit that she actually conceded anything.
of course her fake Kardashian voice oh and then jody came out and just started screaming over both
of us and said that i can't believe you guys are still talking about this i don't really i don't want
you to see her anymore you can't talk to her anymore and look look how crazy he was and it's a
picture of jody's face i'm like that it was interesting that julia was the one who said how big were
his eyes which clearly they've had conversations about how big his eyes yeah it's pretty obvious so
they're going to discuss that for sure but it didn't look him and aaron from the valley are
like brothers they got to be related in some ways these cousins they look a lot like they do actually
look a whole lot of like that's actually that's a good point maybe there's cousins maybe there's
a genetic thing going on with their eyes who knows what who was it that's oh thyroid
the alexia thyroid there yeah yeah his eyes pop out is what she said it's thyroid but yeah dude
I can't get on board for this.
I mean, obviously, because Larsa saying it, but also, we don't have any proof.
I'm supposed to trust Larsa.
This could have also been Larsa started to get into it with Lisa again.
And Jody was like, all right, this is enough.
Like, fuck this.
Why do you want to be friends with her?
Like, that could have happened.
I don't know.
You don't have Lisa there to explain.
And of course, this is a typical Larsa fashion.
So you shouldn't be talking about it, Larsa.
It's so interesting to me because I'm sure a lot of people in that position,
would find out, not only we can, weirdly enough, we can just kind of gloss over the fact that
Lisa's dad just died, but the fact that she's not there. Most people would say, you know what,
I'm going to hold on to that until she comes back and then we're going to have a big discussion about
it. Everybody's going to get into it. It's going to be good TV. The way Lars's mind works is,
oh, shit, Lisa's not going to be there because her dad died. So now I'm really going to ramp it up.
Now I'm really going to get into it so I can let them all know what's going on before Lisa comes home
and then we're going to do it because they're going to be on my side at that point.
Give me my side of the story.
You can tell that like in their confessionals,
everybody's understanding the way Larsa operates and finally,
for the love of God,
finally,
the way that they all react to that picture,
only like one person was like,
well,
yeah,
they look crazy.
Everyone else was like,
that's him.
That's what he looks like.
And,
you know,
sometimes there's a lot of flashing lights and the cameras coming on to,
or like,
whatever you're coming onto the red carpet,
wherever the hell they were.
that you're going to be able to be a little bit shocked.
You're going to be all over the place.
So, yeah, maybe that's what it was.
It looked like he was just caught off guard.
Like, okay, well, they've got Jody's back.
I didn't expect that.
But then it takes such a deeper shift because Lars is like,
he's controlling, he's not good for.
And he told this to Lisa.
And he just wants your money.
Again, the guy paying 16 grand to pay for half of the apartment that Lisa's living in
wants her money.
They were like he's taking a managerial role.
I'm like, well, yeah, they're like, oh, so he's a gold digger.
I'm like, how are we getting here?
Like, he's helping.
And like, to be fair, you know what that scene, that flashback into the limoge showed me?
Is that Lisa can't be trusted to release an email that was unproved and she said
something she shouldn't have said or spelled it wrong.
It's like, yeah, so she immediately agreed.
And she's like, yeah, you were copied on that one.
And you goes, is that the one that you sent like way too fast?
And she's like, yeah, that was the one.
He's like, there's a couple of spelling errors in there.
You know, you didn't really say what you wanted to, but, uh, whatever, it's okay.
Yeah, he didn't throw, yeah, he's helping.
He was like, oh, boy.
I didn't really see, I did not see a problem with that at all because, you know what,
if you're dating somebody and this is the type of work that they're doing and they've got a lot
going on and, you know, she's got the kids and it seems like she's got so many different things
going on, whether it's brand deals or whatever the hell else that she does.
It seems like she's got a lot on her plate.
It seems like he's helping.
He also has a job.
We've seen him do that.
I don't remember exactly what he does, but he does have a job.
So he's got his own stuff going.
on so it just seems like he's fucking helping out i think this was just this was splitting hairs yeah
this was a witch hunt like damn and especially to do it when neither of them are there to talk about it
or to end themselves such a larsa move at least while they're at her dad's funeral yeah they're
literally at her dad's funeral and they're talking about this shit like alexia was the only one that
was upset about the fact that larsa brought it up now i was like yeah and she's like hey she is
going through a lot and then we get a congrats marisol marisov's like yeah thanks which she
handle this whole thing very well, especially when it starts to get over the top. But while this is
happening, you know, Marisol and Steve are Smoochin. Then Julia is being loud and boisterous and
inserting herself there. She's all over the map. Yeah. So it's like, all right, well, who's
being extra? She was. She was wasted, but it's, she's claiming, and the group is claiming that
Gertie's too much. But we, like you said earlier, with this.
cast it tends to be a lot all of them that's kind of why we love them is because they are a lot
so why are we they're genuinely a lot like this isn't you nobody can look at this and be like
well that was a produced moment by julia that doesn't happen on this show like larissa does it but
she does it in a very good way where she's very good for the show yeah the rest of the cast doesn't do
it they're just genuinely extra and they get in each other's business very easily and then they go
crazy and then we see that all the time and it's what makes it such a good show and they come back together
somehow yeah julia was just hammered and she did the thing that you see typically at a wedding when a
bunch of people are drunk and you see the bride and groom kiss and you start cheering or you yell at them
to kiss from across the dance floor i've done that yeah kiss yes smooch smooke

Good morning, Nightvale, with new episodes every other Thursday.
Get it wherever you get your podcasts.
Yes, even there.
But it goes south so fast because Kiki says, you guys need to go talk.
Gertie, very calmly, goes, would you like to?
to do this at the table or would you like to go talk amongst ourselves i like giving the option
i like a nice option yeah julia stands up and claps at her and says you're not producing this
you're not a producing or producer i was like what the fuck i was like why did that go from zero to a
thousand and that's when i go again i'm like what are we missing here because julia stands up
and she's getting in Gertie's face across the table
and like wagging her hand
and that's the other thing
these are the moments where one Gertie
the restraint is commendable
and also it cracks me up
and we've seen it in other shows
Housewife A gets in Housewife B's
face puts a finger in their face
wags their hand around like that
they get dragged and then they play the victim
It's like, if you walk up to me and you stick your hand, if it's a dude, and he sticks my hand, my hand, his hand in my face, and does all that nonsense, I'm going to slap them.
If your hands, if your hand's bigger than your face, you've got a thyroid problem.
Yeah.
Slap.
But it just, it always cracks me up.
There's an antagonizer.
Then there is consequences.
And then like, oh, my God.
It's like, well, then don't do that.
But this was nuts.
It almost got to that point to.
Crazy, dude.
It almost got to that point, too.
where Gertie did say, like, are you, what are you going to do?
Are you going to touch me?
Are you going to touch me?
She's like, no, I would never touch you.
It's like, okay, something came back in where Julia was like, no, I'm not going to go that far.
It's like, okay.
Oh, good.
All right, we're not going too far here, guys.
Just throw in water, you know, classic.
It was, it just ramped up to the point that I wasn't really expecting.
And then Gertie starts to tell her side of the cruise.
Julia called me hysterical.
I'd just gotten off a cruise with Russell.
I asked her what happened.
She said, I don't want to talk about it.
I'll tell you on the ship,
which Gertie says is somewhat manipulative.
And it kind of is.
I'll give her that one.
I don't think it's that deep.
But I,
because Julia's going through it as well,
so I'm not going to be like,
oh, that was terrible.
But she says that to goad her on to getting on the boat a little bit.
She agrees to go.
Meanwhile, Julia is sitting there calling her a psychopath,
saying that she's crazy.
She's a psycho.
Gertie says,
be quiet.
And she throws a drink in her face.
These things do not equate.
She was yelling,
you're the psychopath.
You're the psycho.
It's like,
what is going on?
And it can't just be as easily written off
as Julia was hammered and angry
and there's a lot going on in her life.
There has to be something specifically going on
with her and dirty that we're not getting.
And I don't even know at this point, because Gertie was so,
was at least somewhat calm, cool, and collected going through all of that,
you would think that there would be something in there that we were missing.
But it seems like it's so much deeper that I don't even know if Gertie knows what the hell's going on.
Only Julia really knows how Julia feels.
And I don't think we're going to get that.
I just don't see her.
I don't know.
Maybe Adriana, I'll take her to like a ketamine session and we'll be able to finally figure this one out.
But otherwise, I don't know.
I don't know.
she keeps going back to the social media aspect and the fact that Gertie's all about herself.
And I mean, maybe wild thing to say to somebody who just went through breast cancer,
but yeah,
I think it's insane to say that about somebody that just went through breast cancer.
But, like, I'm trying to envision an instance in where this would be applicable.
And I'm like, okay, was Gertie asking to take a lot of pictures?
Was she asking Julie to take pictures of her?
Like, I don't know how this got to this level.
and she's claiming,
Julia's claiming that Gertie never asked about Martina.
I find that really hard to believe
considering Gertie just went through breast cancer.
And considering the first thing that she said
when she saw you at Martina was,
I heard you got the boys,
how are the boys? Can you tell me everything?
Seems very close, a very good friend.
Somebody who's concerned,
it doesn't track with what we've seen from Gertie.
I don't believe that.
But I think Gertie, I think she won because she drops.
Martina had an issue and you got in a boat instead.
You went on vacation while Martina was getting or going through chemo.
I was like, ooh.
So maybe that has something.
Maybe there's some guilt in there.
I don't know.
We don't know.
I don't know.
But that was definitely the haymaker from Gertie.
The thing that bothered me and then Julia's yelling, don't deflect.
I'm like, okay, well, that's not a good response.
but the thing that bothered me is that Kiki is saying Gertie you need to like you should leave now
like if I got a drink thrown in my face like I'm going to say my piece and go I'm like why is
Gertie the villain right now she's got drinks thrown at her Julia is attacking her and Kiki's like
Gertie leave I didn't care for that I didn't I didn't piece that one together I don't really
know why any of that like it was confusing I'm just I mean he's not wrong you
usually the person who gets the drink thrown at them does leave because they can't
take it anymore, but to insinuate that she should leave is kind of confusing.
Well, the whole situation is very confusing.
I don't know.
Hopefully we get some clarification there at some point or another because it's still,
it all doesn't track for me.
But let's get to some questions.
Maybe one of our listeners mapped it out better.
Let's hope.
First one up here from Georgia Fuller.
Did anyone else find out that Kiki is,
a mom from this episode.
Oh, yeah.
I did not know that she was a mom.
She had two kids.
She had an 18 year old son too.
Oh, you know what?
That rings a bell.
But I didn't know that she had a four year old.
That was crazy.
That was crazy.
Yeah, see from the Little Bear 53.
What on earth happened to Julia?
I can't reconcile this.
The behavior is just vile.
I don't know.
We don't know.
We're all confused.
Jacqueline Michelle, Chris.
Not a question, but Julia can suck it and milk her fucking goats.
You suck.
Jesus.
I mean, this is a really good question from Gianna Key 88.
Why is none of the cast supporting Gertie?
This was so insane on Julia's part.
I don't know.
It is tough.
And it can't just be as simple as what Kiki said.
Like, Gertie's a little too much.
I don't know.
It's just bizarre.
It's so that, I mean, everyone's pretty much resounding the same thing here.
Oh, this is fun.
From Robert Taylor, writer of stuff.
What housewife from another franchise would you move to my housewife?
Miami to boost ratings.
That's a tough one.
What about Ashley Darby?
No.
No, absolutely not.
No, the problem is the ones that I think would thrive, the Housewives that I think would thrive in this setting,
they'd be losing out on their other franchise.
Like, if we could clone copy Lisa Barlow and send her to Miami, I'm in.
That would be great.
yeah that would be an interesting one i'll take that let's do two more because these are all pretty
much the same now this is a good theory from amanda grace 1129 is julia trying to protect her
spot she's never acted like this maybe that's what it is could be that and yeah petrovan
thank you why did kiki try to remove gertie when julia was the one throwing water i don't know
the whole response to all of this was was flabbergasting for a lack of
a better word yeah i don't i don't think this is true but from a megania hala 18 hear me out alexia
and teresa judice are the same person maybe with their marriages i could definitely see that but
personality wise they are not i don't agree yeah any other i'm looking pretty much just everybody
team gertie about this yeah it's all team gertie it's all questioning julia which we are too
that's pretty much it really so yeah we don't know but we have no idea we'll uh we'll all find out
together i don't think we'll find this one out on the side we'll wait and see but that's all i got
you got anything else nope all good well that's our show bro's got to go hi i'm here to tell you
