I don't remember her. I don't recall. And by the way, Adam definitely recalls, or Alan, sorry, he definitely knows. He knows more than he's letting on. But he's almost, and we've seen this throughout the whole season. He's not, he doesn't want to be part of it.

He doesn't want to be there. He says in this moment, look, my brother was restless. He always wanted that. He always wanted the acknowledgement, the recognition, the life that came with it. I'm of Salton C. Leave me the fuck alone, dad. I'm good. So he's obviously going to play some kind of role.

I don't know with Corliss as Hand of the King. will he appoint Alan to take over as a sailmaster? What do you call that? In charge of all of the boats, like the fleet? Master of boats. Yeah, it's master of boats. Master of boats. So is he going to become the master of boats in Colis's stead?

He's definitely going to play a larger role because it points back to talking about the crown. Those who got it don't want it. Alan doesn't want it, which to me means he's going to be in charge of something very important. Because every single. Yeah, I mean, at the end of the day, he's going to make him air to drift bark. He's going to make sure that everything comes in. They are really hammering this home. Like, we get it.

We understand. The Stalton C thing, it started with Bela. Bala's in there talking about, I am fire and blood, not Salton C. You need Salton C. Next episode, we got some Salton C with Allen, but he doesn't want it. What do we know from John Snow? When you don't want it, you get it. So he's going to keep going.

I don't want it. We see him in the scenes from next week. He's got some really cool gear on, some nice armor. He's going to keep leveling up his position. He doesn't want anything to do with it. And it's even furthered by the fact that every single subplot of the season, because it's one storyline, every single family is mirroring every single other family. All of the family drama going on here

and the Targaryens is going on with the Valerians is going on with the High Towers is going on like boop, boop, poop, everyone's got family drama of who's the next one up? And they talk about in the after show, this is a generational show. You're seeing each generation trying to go through the steps of what their future is,

what their role is in their family, how they're going to take over, are they going to take over? Who's going to take over? So once again, we get it. Salt and C. You know, we have yet to hear anybody that's like like earth and mud or dirt and grass well it says now are they at let's not

You just get like a 30 second clip of Raina like walking away from the the caravan and going off into the hills to look at the same spot that we saw last week this is these they might have cut and pasted the same fucking scene in it easily I don't need this yeah it what do we get what do we get from it we just get jane aaron just looks over and's like gives her like a little look it's like okay i know where you're going all right okay sick go find it she's do it now go exactly if we're if everyone's

acknowledging finally, and he said something last season where he was like, am I a bastard? But this was the first, like, I know. that Harwin Strong's my dad, but now that he's seeing other bastard children able to ride dragons or that we're going to get more bastards coming in, he is now less important in his own mind because now he's on the same level as these randos, Ulf, he got some dickhead named Ulf who's drunk in a tavern for the past 10 years and drinks for free because he tells stories about he's a Targaryan bastard.

You're now in the same class as these guys. So now he's questioning his stance, his stature. Am I a low-born mongrel? Like, mom, if you put all these other people on dragons, you're pretty much saying, I'm the same as them. And I can't have that because I've been questioning myself my entire life. Why do I have brown hair? I know I have brown hair, you slut. Did you even think about it when you were betting him?

Like, no, she didn't. She was betting him. She wasn't thinking about her sons having brown hair because typically the Targaryen takes over anyway. So no, she probably wasn't worried about that whatsoever. I just love it because Jace's idea last week was, let's get some randos who might have Targaryen blood and we'll throw them up there you had no problem with that because they were highborn now you're like these lowborn scum who also have targaryen blood and maybe way more than sir darklin rip poor guy

you've got these people just coming in yeah he was fine he wanted to serve as queen so i'm gonna give him an rip but you're now mad about that because of yourself and you're just struggling with the fact that you're a bastard so these other bastards coming in they also get the ride dragons and by the way these dragons are cooler than mine mine's a little thing mine's this little vermax thing that's just like floating around and it's not that menacing even the people with the twins were like yeah you got your dragon over there okay i can't see it it's too far away it's too small he's cute he's cute i guess does he even spitfire who cares so now he's doing all of this and he's getting upset about it like dude big picture big picture you want to die you want vagar to come over here and kill all of us or do you want to throw

these these um these bastards on some dragons maybe they die from vagar and you don't have to maybe they take vagar out and then you can be the hero of the day nobody's nobody's doubting who you are you're still reneer's son so like get out of it dude yeah but you know maybe that's a uh a point to his immaturity they's still a kid and they're trying to point out that he's still insecure about things and he needs to hear from mommy like i'm still the error right like i get thrown when you die right mom which we haven't oh he even threw in agon's he even threw in agon's uh agon's dagger the prophecy he's like yeah what the prophecy was about it's like no dickhead did you even hear me when i was talking about it has nothing to do with these people you're also

not the prince that was promised so grow up he's just a little he's a little insecure guy that's all just a little insecure guy so he's big baby i'm i'm curious though is he going to revolt at some point is he going to make uh not revolt but is he going to try to take matters into his own hands and tried to because we've gotten a lot of that a lot of people need to prove themselves on this show for whatever reason there's a lot of ego and i i could see him being like i am a true born targary and watch this and it not going very well now rinera has no air or she does i mean she got the little one so has yeah she has agon and vassaris over in the veil right now but i'm confusing his i know um no it's funny too because obviously he flew off to the twins to talk to the phrase

and he had a good sit down with them. He performed really well. It worked out well for everybody. So what? He's going to be a little high and mighty about himself. I got to go prove myself. Yeah, I think that's what's going to happen. I think there's going to be some like battle off in the distance somewhere.

They can't figure out what to do. Maybe they sent in like Bela on Moon Dancer and she comes back and she's injured. And he goes, you know what? That's my wife to be. I'm going to stand up for my family and go out there. And then he dies because he decides to go do that on his own. So I could see him dying that way where he does. just thinks that he can go control something and he ends up dying.

I can see that as well. I'm curious. I like Jason's storyline. I like that character. I like the actor. I think he's done a nice job with it. So I want to see how that one pans out. But you get this, the propaganda war once again.

And Masaria is setting things in motion. They play past the note and the note ends up in Kings Landing. And the red cloaked lady once again is bopping around the king's guards. She's bopping around to people in the taverns, the brothels. whatever, and she's letting people know, hey, they're recruiting bastards, and there's a lot of you bastards here, and they're, they're calling for you guys, and they, who wants to ride a dragon? Who wants to ride a dragon? Who's up? You guys want to go? I would have been on the boat regardless, because they all went out of King's Landing. That's what I thought was

funny, is that you're spreading this rumor. How do you know that these are actual Targaryian bastards other than the fact that the majority has like silver hair and, you know, looks slightly Targaryen-ish, but I would have been on that fucking boat. Get me out of here. I'll go ahead. I would have been on that boat. And if I didn't have silver hair, I would have just mixed in with the crowd. I don't need to go claim a dragon.

I just need to get the hell out of Kings Landing because your blockade is keeping me from getting food. If I could sneak out of King's Landing with your help, I don't need to go claim a dragon. I can go to Dragonstone and eat at least for a couple of weeks until somebody decides to torch the place. So yeah, I'm going to hang out over here and get some food while I still can. That makes the most sense to me. I don't know why anybody wouldn't get on those boats.

but Hugh Hammer and I love Hugh Hammer and I was fucking right I thought he was going to get on Vermethor I was correct he is Vermethor's rider spoiler alert for the next 10 minutes but I love the setup of the scenes with Hugh Hammer who is quote unquote

small folk and his wife because it's painting the picture of the issues that everyone's going through in the castle how do I fit in what's my place being your own person, ego, all of these things, it's just showing you that this is a constant throughout. It doesn't matter if you're royalty, highborn, small folk, if you're a blacksmith, everyone still has this innate nature of I need to prove who I am. And it is interesting that the ones that do also do have Targaryen blood or potentially our bastard children, all that. So I like

that they set that up every scene and his wife is always like, dude, we can go over here and live and eat and we're fine and we don't need to be we don't need to be anybody and he's like no do you know what my name is i'm hugh fucking hammer if i don't do something cool with my life that's just an embarrassing name hugh hammer the the hunter gatherer that doesn't make sense hugh hammer the dragon rider bronze fury that's me i need to be that guy so i just i always like these scenes yeah that it seems great now again we didn't even get to see that his daughter unfortunately passed away we just get a reference to the fact that he couldn't keep his daughter alive I didn't even pick up on it see I missed that I must be running something down yeah

there's too much glossing over in weird parts my problem is that we see him and obviously we know that eventually he's going to be important and as soon as they start talking about dragon seeds and bastards and people that might be able to ride a dragon it's like okay you've been showing us Ulf and Hugh Hammer for a long time they're probably going to be successful Again, if it was Game of Thrones, real Game of Thrones, one of them probably would have died and it would have been like, oh, that's kind of funny. If Ulf died, I would have been like, all this was fucked and we'll get to that in a minute. But he goes into his backstory a little bit and he is, he's a stand-up guy. He's just trying to keep everybody alive.

He wants to do what's right by his family, but he can't stand around and do it anymore. I did a little digging into who he is, actually. He's Jaharis's daughter who was cast out of Kings Landing. jeharis's daughter is his mom oh i was like he's a he's not he's a girl no no no no jarris's daughter who was like ninth in line or whatever for the throne most of his children died except for the ones that gave birth to damon and psalis and raines but yeah so she got cast aside she went over to esos or somewhere across the narrow sea and became a brothel lady and then owns her own brothel and i guess he made his way back to the landing so good for him coming

all the way back. So he is a he's a direct descendant. So yeah, there wasn't a Targary and dad in his life that I know about. But that's what we got. And it was Princess Sarah for those people. Nice little easy name to remember. Sarah. It's probably spelled S-A-R-R-A-Y.

Even if you die, it's probably a blessing.

Let's be real. Look at all of you. You're disgusting. I love it. It's like, be somebody. The common theme this season and last season, especially on Twitter, is that House of the Dragon is never going to beat the Shrek allegations because there's so many, there's so many things that happen.

And everybody kept posting the, uh, the Lord Farquod. Some of you may die. Some of you may live. Yeah. It's exactly the same speech. It's just so funny. I love it. But yeah.

little pump-up speech and end it with thanks for coming if you die you tried you tried to figure that's where that's the Lord Clark we just watched it with Poppy and he says some of you may die and that's a risk I'm willing to take yeah exactly that's and that's exactly what we're doing it is and they go immediately into the dragon keep and she calls revermathore love the reveal I always love the that has not missed at all this season is the cinematography no the dragons are great they do a great job in portraying those scenes the size of them the mystique of them showing rinera like you know it's just his head and her standing in the the silhouette like that's such a cool shot but she's like all right who's up first you

bastards like who's going to do it and uh this might be mean but i wrote rocky from the mask steps up first yeah poor deformed bastard he comes out and he was like i'll do it because what do i have to lose. You know, his life hasn't been easy up in that point. He's living in Kings Landing to form, so he walks up. And look, we talked about this with Darklin. Look at Hugh Hammer.

Look at Adam. Those guys look at the part. Like, there's got, Ulf is the, he's the outlier here because you need to have one wacky guy. But everyone else looks like they should be on the back of a dragon. All of those bastards standing around, I'm like, you guys are fucked. None of you're going to get on this

dragon. There's two people, obviously, Obviously, we know the two we're looking at because of the season thus far. But at the same time, don't judge a book by its cover, but I'm judging all of you by your covers right now. And you're all going to die. But he walks up there, Verma4, Verma Thor scans the group. He's kind of bobbing around, looking around. He's like, nah, and action kills all of them. It's fucking incredible.

I loved this massacre. We need stuff like this. And I know it's funny to say, I loved this massacre. But this is something that we need. We need all of these people who showed up in scores, if you will, Masaria, going through just getting roasted and absolute chaos breaks out. And I just love that Reneer goes upstairs and she's just watching from her purse, just sitting up there checking it out. Hey, I'm going to keep watching this. Hey, I know you're telling me to walk away so I don't have to see these things.

I need to watch this because I'm putting these people to their death. So I got to take some responsibility here, whatever. I thought one, of course, I thought Ulf was going to die. he gets knocked off the platform immediately. He hits a tree branch. He falls down. He's fucked up. Who the hell knows what's going on?

Everybody scatters. And I love that they scatter because they shut the damn doors behind them so they couldn't run back in the Dragonstone. Why are you shutting them out? If this happens and they want to get away and go home, let them get away and go home. Why are you locking them in here? I think that you can't. I think you can't let him go back because then they start talking and people start finding out

And then they hear that it didn't go well, you know, they tried and it failed miserably. They don't know that people got on dragons at the end of this thing. I also think, take it for what it is. But we just wiped out about anywhere between, you know, like 20 and 40 bastards of the Targaryen line. Like, we're doing a lot of people a favor. There's a lot of dude Targaryans right now walking around.

Like, thanks, Reneira. He got rid of a big problem for me. I was thinking Searcy would be proud because of what she did after Robert died. She went after all the bastards in Kings Landing. That's what I mean. So like it's, it's almost homage. It's pre homage to Searcy. And it's, I think that that was a big part of it was the sacrificing of the bastards to find like the rightful Targaryens to ride dragons.

Like these two are of the blood quality, if you will. Right. To be part of what we're doing rather than, you know, if you want to go from Jason's approach, all these mongrels, like they can, anybody can just ride a dragon. It's like, no, we know that Hugh Hammer is a direct descendant. I would imagine Ulf has a similar trajectory from what he has claimed. He's also a closer descendant of Vesaris, right?

He's Vesaris's son. No, he's, uh, Vesaris and Damon. Harris, or support, no, he's, uh, their dad's name was Baylor. But direct descendant. Yeah, or bail on. So the other ones, we don't really know. what their bloodline was so again it's it's somehow weirdly keeping or upholding the honor of actually being a targaryen where all these other bastards weren't quite enough now they get torched or eaten

these two had enough in them so you take care of the bastard problem you got two guys that are worthy to do this whole thing and you get a really great scene a really really tremendous scene of just dragon massacre and i agree with you we need this and you get the funny i'm glad they don't have the same repeating scene of how people are getting these fucking dragons. Yeah, they didn't just line up one by one by one. They just left them all out there like, hey, if this dragon likes, after what I just saw with Adam and C-Smoke, apparently the dragon can just choose you. So we're going to put you all out there on the platform.

Maybe Vermethor will be like, hey, I like this guy. I thought that's what was going to happen to. I thought Vermethor was going to do like a little intimidating, kind of scanning the crowd. And then as he's coming back to Hugh Hammer, he's going to go down and be like, I choose you, buddy. and nobody else dies and then they all run away but instead we get a great massacre it was great i think it's kind of funny that the i guess convincing factor at the end of this for uh hugh hammer was i'm going to try to save this girl and i'm going to yell at this guy in english i'm not going to

talk to him in valerian i'm going to say hey i'm over here come on over and then i'm just going to scream in his face and he likes me he respects me now because i saved a woman come on I don't know this works. No, but I agree with you. I do love that we get two very different scenes with the way that Hugh Hammer claims Vermethor is very much Hugh Hammer and the way that Ulf claims Silver Wing is very much, Alf.

Yeah, he's ready to die and he's like, oh, hey, I got a dragon now. He stepped on his entire deposit of eggs. Yeah, he stepped in Silver Wing's batch of eggs. He crushed a couple of unborn babies. Yeah, damn it, yourself, you get clumsy bastard. Yeah. He was killed.

You killed. That could have been DeNaris's drag. The Targaryans might not have lost their lineage or the right to the crown if you didn't kill those dragons. Nice job, Dickhead. Good job, buddy. I mean, it was also, you knew, if you look back, like you knew Hugh Hammer of all people was going to get Barber Thor, like bronze fury.

Like, look at him. He's bronze. He's got the bronze beard. He's a blacksmith. Yeah. He's a blacksmith. Hammer. And Hammer and he gets out there and screams at the dragon that is Bronze Fury with Fury.

It's like, yeah, they make sense. And maybe that's what Vermethor needed is a man with a strong hand. Like this guy, this guy can handle me in my business. Yeah, me too, because you get fucking Hugh Hammer on the second biggest dragon in the realm. If we're to believe Hugh Hammer, that would be his grandfather's dragon because that was to Harris is dragon. So it makes kind of, it kind of makes sense. Yeah, you're right.

He's also Ulf's, I guess he's great grandpa. So there you go. That's also interesting. Their age doesn't make a lot of sense. Then Ulf looks a lot older. Interesting. But it does raise the question. And this one was kind of stuck in my head. You've now got Hugh Hammer, who seems honorable. War changes people. Dragons, I believe, will change people.

on the second largest dragon and the fiercest dragon in all of the route like fiercer than vagar second in size that's a lot of power for a guy that's been down on his luck for a long time has now just pretty much walked into the golden ticket or the bronze ticket if you will so when this all shakes out you better be loyal to riner because he could fuck a lot of things up for a lot of people if he so chooses so i'm curious if when the dust settles if that's ever going to be an issue or if he's always going to pledge fealty i i really don't know i feel like he you never say never for things like that but i think the way that he views agon amens the way that king's landing was he probably blames them for his the death of his daughter so yeah i think he's

going to pledge to rinerer pretty quickly and i don't think that's going to change no i know i don't think that's going to change out of the gate i'm saying once everything's settled and he still has this gigantic dragon, assuming he's alive, does he take a different path? You've got the second biggest dragon and the fiercest dragon. You can probably do what you want to do. I'm just curious about the, what the story of Hugh Hammer is going to be, but he doesn't strike me as he would do that. Ulf, on the other hand, I feel like we'd get drunk with power and drunk.

I, yeah, I agree, but I think that with Silver Wing, I don't know, Silver Wing's a bad motherfucker too. And I think that it's really funny and very Ulf, when they show him flying, like, you get the scene or the council. and Amos talking and you get fucking dragon. I think so two things from that. One, during that council meeting, we finally hear that Darren's dragon is finally taken flight,

which we do see in the clip for next week. It looks like there's a purple dragon that would be Darren's dragon. So maybe we meet Darren next week. That would be fun. New guy coming into the fold. Love that. But do you think that Ulf was told by Renira, hey, take Silver Wing and go fly over Kings Landing and then come back and see what
