Starting point is 00:00:48 I don't like to jump around stuff. Like, I don't think we have the attention span for that. I think we have a slightly longer attention span as millennials, like two or three seconds. But I do like the show. I like the cast. I also get the ick from a lot of shit that this cast does. It's a very strange place that I'm in currently.
Starting point is 00:01:05 But overall, I like the show. I think it's a really good dichotomy of watching the valley and then going into this show because you have people in their late 30s, early 40s that are acting like they're in their early 20s. And then you go to a show where they're in their early 20s acting like they're supposed to. So it's almost enjoyable in that sense because you're watching a couple of these people do things that, you know, older people shouldn't be doing. And yet we still have to suffer through that show. But this is enjoyable. This is funny.
Starting point is 00:01:31 This is more, I feel like we can laugh at it because it's almost like inconsequential errors and them just feeling like their lives are falling apart because that's what you do when you're 22 or 23 years old. It's that. That's what you're totally right. It's also like there's a part of it that's so inconsequential because they just are rich kids, you know? It's like you know they're going to be fine.
Starting point is 00:01:54 I can't wait to talk about Hudson getting off the fucking jet. That's what. My newest ick is just Hudson and anything Hudson does now. And I'll tell you why we'll get there. As there's a drive in a deep left field by Castellanos, it will be a... Oh man, it's 8 o'clock. And so that'll make it a... I don't need the spotlight.
Starting point is 00:02:17 I shine just fine. Hi, I'm karma. And yes, I am a bitch. Brov Bros. Good afternoon, everybody. Welcome back to another episode of Brav Bros. Your favorite podcast from The Bros. everybody for who everyone's to listen.
Starting point is 00:02:32 I'm your co-host. Steel Russell joined as always by the one and only next Goots. What's up, dude? Who is the next dude? Maybe we'll get big enough where we can do like a contest. Who will be the next Goots? And it's just me and you judging who's going to be the next Goots. That sounds like a Goots look-alike contest sounds pretty great.
Starting point is 00:02:53 It'll get picked up on like Tooby or something. You know, I don't think it'd do a whole lot. We should be so lucky. I guess, yeah. Oh boy. Yeah, this show is very interesting to cover. It's very interesting to watch. You know, we talked about it before we started recording.
Starting point is 00:03:07 It's very short attention span, very TikToky. We've talked about that before, too. I even said, like, it's sort of like they're doing a podcast within the show. Like, everybody sits down. You have the dual confessionals where they're sitting with different people almost every time. They're really fun because you get to kind of play off of each other. But then you're entering the podcast realm. So not only are they doing that, but they're also taking every opportunity
Starting point is 00:03:30 and they talk about it after Riley's night out, every opportunity to shoehorn in some TikToks and it's just content creators up on like Times Square billboards talking about what happened the night before. It really does show you how quickly things come out. And then also somebody just sprints to TikTok and like, you're never going to believe what Riley Burris did. She threw a glass at Georgia.
Starting point is 00:03:52 It's like, okay, all right. Let's fucking calm down people. We don't do that. We wait. We're not those guys. no we just yeah we know we know we're not the gotcha podcast four days later yeah we'll get to it eventually we're like yeah you heard that oh yeah like we're not trying to jump on that bandwagon of like yeah you know gotcha moments i don't think that's fun but it does show you like yeah
Starting point is 00:04:16 that's a different way to grow up for sure and the fact that you have those those moments then they're immediately on tic-tok people are talking about you in like a floating heads video like yes that sucks i don't really care though Oh, dude, candy calling. Like, hey, what the fuck? I had to see you. I had, like, a shitty night out when we were, like, 21. And we barely remember most of the pieces.
Starting point is 00:04:40 And then your mom calls me. No. And then your mom calls you. She's like, hey, what am I reading on X.com, the everything app right now? It says that you were really drunk and you were riding the bull at Xfinity Live naked. Did that happen? No. Yes, probably.
Starting point is 00:04:57 Maybe. Yeah, probably. that's that's not even remotely the craziest thing that I have gotten into so yeah that that's more than likely but yeah my mom game I don't yeah that's that's a reasonable one that's a good call but you stay your friend on fire yes I have set somebody on fire we were doing it back and forth though it was a protest come on no yeah no no that was after I wrestled the goat yeah same night same night yeah we were doing uh to see how far, God, damn it, to see how far back you get from the fire pit
Starting point is 00:05:33 with like the can of lighter fluid and keep the flame going. You know what I mean? And then, no, I know exactly, I mean. My one friend,
Starting point is 00:05:42 he was one of my teammates. He, like, jokingly, like, gesture like he was going to shoot it at me. And I just shot it at him. He was fine.
Starting point is 00:05:51 Everyone was good. I just caught his boot on fire. Yeah. But yeah. Yeah. That's why I don't drink anymore. Because I wrestled, Billy Goat and then I let my friend on fire.
Starting point is 00:06:01 Good times. Good time. I got a lot of those. If you want to, if you want to keep doing these like random intros, you just want to hear about stupid shit I used to do. I got a lot. I got a lot.
Starting point is 00:06:11 Yeah, you've got a lot. You think you actually, especially people who listen to this podcast all the time, you imagine that you've heard every single one of Steel stories at least four times. There's so much more in the vault. He's just. No.
Starting point is 00:06:25 There's, yeah, I've lived a lot of lives, guys. maybe I'll do my own podcast someday and just in the vault. What you didn't know, you thought I was just a sweet, emotionally intelligent guy. Tell all book. That's what everybody's doing.
Starting point is 00:06:39 I might, honestly. I'm writing a cookbook right now, but maybe when that's done, I'll do a biography because there is. There's a lot of shit. I've done a lot. Good, bad, and otherwise. But anyway, that's not what I guess. If you use the ghost writer, because you'll say use. like the plural of you for everybody who's not from Philadelphia,
Starting point is 00:06:59 but you always spell it the wrong way. And there's an A-O-U-S-E, I know. You're not even like from the Northeast, you still do it. It just drives me nuts. But either way, I'll be able to tell right away if there's a ghost writer. Because if it shows up the right way,
Starting point is 00:07:13 I'm like, I steal it right this shit. No, I will never get a ghostwriter. I'm doing the cookbook on my own. I have a book agent and all that. But like, it's a motherfucker. I had no idea. The edit process. like every sentence has to be perfect like i'll do like seven hours of work send it i get it back
Starting point is 00:07:35 the next day it's like oh this is great nice job everything fix everything it's like oh okay that's not you think heather gay has to do through that like she's got four books out there or whatever now like you can only good time girls so many different times but you i i i we give them a lot of shit i mean obviously we gave to read a lot of shit in beverly hills and she all she gave us kind of reveal a cover i will never read that that book. Has it come out yet? Couldn't tell you.
Starting point is 00:08:00 I'm never going to read it. I'm not exactly looking for it. But a lot of housewives in particular have done books and we always make fun of them when they're doing a book unless it's something that we're actually kind of interested in. And again, we're still not going to read it. Heather's bad Mormon was good. Like that was a good launch.
Starting point is 00:08:15 I don't mind Heather Gay's books. I don't know about the second and third iteration. Yeah, but I do think bad, excuse me, bad Mormon was actually like a legit book. But no, I agree. Like there is a seemingly every housewife has a book. But yeah, I will give them credit if they went through the same process I'd go into. Like it's not easy. And like mine's about food.
Starting point is 00:08:40 So you're writing about yourself. I don't want to tell people what your books about and like reveal it. But I imagine it's a cook. Food and then what this meal means to you is. More or less. It's a lot more leaning heavier into the like, you know, affordable cooking. respect. Like there's a little about me throughout there, but like it's more so
Starting point is 00:09:00 leading into the actual like process of saving money. You're not doing the like food. Like when I look up a recipe and it's you know, here's here's a good sauce. Like Godfather was a stoic man. And they don't have the button that's just skipped a recipe. You have to kind of like home through a very long life story.
Starting point is 00:09:16 And then you get to the sauce. It's like can of tomatoes, a little bit of sugar, a little bit of salt. Basil and saute it. But thanks for reading the 30 paragraphs to get there. No, my my intros are like to the recipe like why this saves you money what techniques it's using that you could take and use another recipes like substitutions like it's very practical um because people need that right now but again like and i actually think it might be easier to just write about my
Starting point is 00:09:44 life because i just write about like all the stupid shit that happened but yeah it's a lot it's it's like a heavy process and i've been working on the proposal just a proposal which is what you take and then you shop that to publishers. I've been doing that for four months. Yeah. Four months. I think you should switch it up. I think you should go into like a brazed beef.
Starting point is 00:10:04 And then at the end be like, this reminds me every time that I'm cooking a brazed beef, when I braze it, I remember that one time I braised my friend. And then there's just going on fire. And I lit him on fire at a camp site. Yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:10:17 Okay. Thanks for the notes. I'll talk about next. Yeah. This is how I brainstorm for my writing session. I talk to shooter. But yeah, anyway, we are here to talk about I will sit in the city, next gen,
Starting point is 00:10:33 which is also in the city. Like we talked about in the cold opening. Like, it's good. Like, this is a good show. It's different. The cast is pretty solid. I think that you have this weird middle ground of, like, because you have 20-somethings trying to cosplay as grownups,
Starting point is 00:10:50 you do get pretty captivating conversations and shit. like it feels as though they're trying to trying to think like okay how would a grownup handle this that's what I'm going to say and then it comes out but it's like I appreciate the effort I don't think you're thinking like that but I do appreciate the effort yeah there's like one or two people on this cast that I really don't care about but I think the rest of them are doing a pretty good job I do think they might run into a wall eventually and this is where we're going to have to start
Starting point is 00:11:21 breaking some things down they're going to have to just deal with with Charlie. They have to. They can't keep icing. They the show needs to Charlie. He desperately fills this role of where we need the show to go. If we want more drama, we want more like snark comments. I know that you know, you get mixed up in, you know, Riley and Ariana talking a little bit later. You get mixed up in Riley and Georgia in this episode, but that can only get you so far. Charlie is the engine at some point.
Starting point is 00:11:46 And I feel like right now between Georgia, Brooks, who really fucking annoys me, he's so boring. I can't get past it. Yeah. I can't give him a lot. of support on this show i don't understand what he's doing there i i don't get it but i think that those are the big holdups and i think that georgia could flip if somebody could explain to we're like hey you know if you want the show to work you're kind of need to kind of make amends of charlie at some point then you can flip back whatever the hell you want she but i feel like brooks is not stone wall right now where
Starting point is 00:12:12 yeah brooks is the stone wall right now and charlie talks about it later in the episode he needs to get the fuck out of the way like you have to let charlie back in to get him involved in other things he can't just be always on the outside looking in, nor can we actually just take cameras and go over and hang out in the pool hall just because that's the only time that we get to see Charlie. And then we get his thoughts on what's going on. And it's interesting and funny at the same time. Then we go back and it's like, okay, well, none of that really makes any sense. So it's, that's the holdup right now.
Starting point is 00:12:39 I'm hoping they can move past it, but that's the piece of it where they're so young. They're still acting normal. Like, yes, I understand that in a normal world, you want to distance yourself from this guy. But for the show, if this was, you know, Southern Charm, if this was, you know, was even Soho at this point, you're going to bring that person back into the fold because you understand how important it is for the show. Well, it's that. And it's also, you're not fooling anyone that you're not in contact with.
Starting point is 00:13:04 You guys are on the same cast. You are now, like, I know they're all working on their individual brands and I know they're all trying to do their thing. And I respect that. I appreciate that. But in the grand scheme of things, like the majority of you, I think Amira is like a pretty massive influencer. So I'm not lumping her.
Starting point is 00:13:20 I don't know Ariane's got a big following too. and I'm not taking away from like what they are doing on the side. A lot of them are now known for this show. That's a good thing. You have your own TV show on Bravo. It's a big deal. But like that's how a lot of people recognize you, which means you are going to be lumped in with Charlie regardless.
Starting point is 00:13:37 What we're seeing, which is interesting because you compare this to, you know, housewives or Southern Charm like you said, they're still so concerned about like proximity to drama or like a, a bad checkmark. It's like,
Starting point is 00:13:53 no, no, you know, Meredith Marks hung out with Jen Shaw. Like, you were going to cross paths with literal felons.
Starting point is 00:14:01 It's okay. Teresa Judice went to jail. She's a fucking household name. So, like, we don't care. You know, like,
Starting point is 00:14:06 yes, obviously, if shit comes out that Charlie was a bad, awful, terrible person doing bad, awful terrible things, lock them up.
Starting point is 00:14:13 But I don't think that you are going to get penalized. It's like, Eva has 18,000 followers. And she's blaming other people she's blaming G. for calling her a liar. She's blaming Charlie.
Starting point is 00:14:24 Like, no, you just got to them numbs up, which you will. You have a TV show. Like, things are fine, but don't blame other people for it. But you just hook up with Kyle Cook. Oh,
Starting point is 00:14:33 God, I know. What? Where are we? That's like the only thing he could have done right now. That's like, oh, no, Kyle. Like,
Starting point is 00:14:40 he could have done anything. I don't think that's the only thing that he could have done. That's, oh, no. There's a lot of, oh, no,
Starting point is 00:14:46 sure. No, I just mean he had a pretty long leash given what happened. And like, Yeah, like, look up with Katie DeLuca, man. She's a star. That's, yeah, and that gets back in a band a little bit.
Starting point is 00:14:55 Like, Katie DeLuca is the biggest star on Bravo right now. Everybody's talking about it. But no, I mean, just to like wrap up this thought, it's like, they're still so worried that Charlie's going to impact them in some way, shape, or form. But in reality, he's not. It's not going to have any bearing on your companies, any bearing on your brand deals. Like, you're on the show on the same cast. So you're already lumped in with them.
Starting point is 00:15:20 bring him into the fold because like you said, he brings a different level of like drama because the shit we're seeing now is trivial. You get drunk at a bar, you yell at each other like whatever. Charlie's like real shit. And eventually you're going to need that substance to carry this show through because we as like the older viewers
Starting point is 00:15:40 are going to watch the bullshit make, all right, I'm tired of like the arguing over nothing. Like let's get some real shit. And that's where Charlie comes in. Yeah, exactly. But let's jump. been, uh, we're still kind of in the intro, I guess, but we're at the bar and, you know, everyone's having fun for the most part, a continuation of last week where, you know, we're,
Starting point is 00:16:00 we're just hammering out. Again, it's little trivial shit. It's the stuff between George and Amira about Kevin. And that's not an issue, but it is an issue because Amir, you've been talking about to everybody and you iced her out because of it. But then when she tries to bring it out to you, you're like, it's not that serious. It's like, then get over it. Like, this is the third time we've talked about it in four episodes. Nothing's coming from it. Georgia has apologized. She's trying to clear the air. That's going to be the one to hold up.
Starting point is 00:16:27 And I think we talked about that in the first episode of this season. Their inability to be able to squash and move on is going to have to be hammered out at some point. Yeah, absolutely. We talked about more in the first episode too. Amira was caught off guard by the fact that Georgia even knew that she was mad about that. That's what it really comes down to. And we even populated, wow.
Starting point is 00:16:50 We posited that the chances are Amira wanted to make this a thing. She wanted to wait. She wanted to get through the first issue with Georgia and then hold on to that in her back pocket. And then if anything came back up, she could throw it back to Georgia's face. But Georgia got ahead of it for the gate grapevine as we found out. Who might just be two people, but that's still fine. Cooper and somebody else. Nate, I think his name is.
Starting point is 00:17:13 But yeah, I think that she wanted to use that. I think she wanted that to be part of the storyline at some point. Georgia got ahead of it. She kind of caught her off guard. So now we're watching this in real time as it keeps getting brought up. And Georgia's like, what the fuck? I thought we were cool. I thought we were past this.
Starting point is 00:17:26 I'm still hearing that you're upset about it. I heard that you were very upset about it. But then you told me you weren't upset about it. So why are you bringing it back up? It's all very confusing. And that's really the only thing that makes sense to me is that that's what Amir wanted to do was use that at some point against Georgia if Georgia pissed her off, which is fine. But once Georgia gets ahead of it, it kind of becomes null and void.
Starting point is 00:17:45 You don't get to change your emotion. It's not that big of an issue because, again, no one else in the group said anything. They're like, oh, yeah, I heard Amira's a little upset because it looks like Georgia was flirting with her boyfriend. Okay. No one's corroborating. No one's saying that Georgia went too far. It's not one of those situations where you can kind of pick and choose like, hey, you know what?
Starting point is 00:18:03 I thought about it more and I'm actually really upset about it. Like, it's not that big of a fucking deal. No. And that's, I think it's going to be a good learning experience of like, all right, well, let's just move on from this. It's not worth it because we can't keep seeing the half conversation, we're good. and that Ameri goes and talk shit again. It's like, we just don't care anymore. Now we're beyond this.
Starting point is 00:18:22 But some shit pops off. This was nuts. I'm sorry. But like, I'm just thinking it's so funny too watching this show because like obviously I have two kids and I'm like thinking about candy watching this like you said, you know, catching clips online the next day.
Starting point is 00:18:37 But I have no idea. No earthly idea how it escalated to that degree. because Georgia, was she making faces? Like, I don't know what the fuck she did. I think she just irritates Riley and Riley was hammered. And she went off the fucking rails. That was crazy. She's like, I'm telling you right now, if a dude was doing that to me and in my face,
Starting point is 00:19:06 like Georgia has a lot of restraint, a lot of restraint. Girls fight differently than guys do anyway. I mean, we've all been around somebody who is just that far gone, who's imagining things and you don't know what they're seeing or what they're feeling and their drunk brain. They're seeing things that aren't even there.
Starting point is 00:19:23 Like I didn't see anything that Georgia was doing. Georgia, I didn't either. I feel like, I mean, the whole thing kind of pops off because they bring up ketamine and Riley looks at Georgia
Starting point is 00:19:31 and she's like, you know all, you probably put ketamine in my drink. I know, I don't want your drink because there's probably ketamine in it. And she's like, whoa, what are you talking about?
Starting point is 00:19:38 Like, let's talk about your ketamine usage. I'm like Jesus Christ, no, let's not do that. Look, Georgia might do it. Georgia might not do it. It's not for us to say.
Starting point is 00:19:47 It's for her to say. If she's doing anything recreationally, who gives a fuck? She lives in New York City. She's 23 years old. She can come out and talk about it if she wants to. But doubting somebody for potential drug usage isn't that cool to begin with, but then really hammering at home.
Starting point is 00:20:03 And when George is like, I don't know why Georgia kept asking the question, because I feel like that's something. I think she got self-conscious. Yeah, maybe. I think we've seen a little bit of that so far with the show. But I think that it would have probably, been better if you're like, all right, you know, Riley's just fucking hammered.
Starting point is 00:20:17 Like, that's the thing that you don't really see a whole lot of. Like, we know when you've been around people who are that drunk, you just kind of leave them alone. Like, I'm not antagonizing or even just talking to them might antagonize them or they're going to perceive that as me antagonizing them. I'm going to leave them alone. That's what you would like to see Georgia do. Georgia thought that this was a good time to really try to like dig it. Why are you bringing that up? Let's, let's go. Let's dive into this. Yeah. You know how drug she is. You know what the reactions are going to be.
Starting point is 00:20:44 so that gets perceived by Riley as Georgia antagonizing her, which then obviously makes her stand up. And at first she said she was going to slap her with a slice of pizza, which is kind of fucking funny. But then she picks up a glass of like, oh, Jesus fuck. Like, no. Yeah, dude. It's not to do that.
Starting point is 00:21:01 And Georgia actually had to duck. She actually ducked down. So I don't really blame her for any of that. Riley just went off the rails. Riley was just really fucking hammered. And then you get Brooks Marks walking in there like, oh, I'm so excited to just be hanging out with the girl. nobody told me there was a fight, I'm out of here.
Starting point is 00:21:17 Why are you there? Go home and work on your company. You got to figure that out. You're delayed, brother. You got to get home and clean up this scheduling. Yeah, it was just wild. And like, yeah, of course, I've been around people that have gone off the rails. And like, we've all had our moments.
Starting point is 00:21:34 All it says to me is, Riley's got something's going on. She's dealing with something behind the scenes. Like, this is not just an unprovoked, like, to, this degree. I do think there's like a little bit of entitlement going on. And I think that you can say it about everybody in this group, so I'm not singling her out with that. But
Starting point is 00:21:54 I hope in a weird way that something's going on. Because if this is just like her reaction to things, like that's not good because you picked up a glass. Like that's like housewife. It is housewife shit. When I saw the preview of GA being like, this is like the real
Starting point is 00:22:12 housewives of New Jersey. I'm like, please don't do that. No, it actually worked. But it actually worked. In the scene, I'm like, okay, that's fine. Like, yeah, we know, but still, that's fine. The line about the Birken was funny, too. Yeah, whatever. That's what I was like, whoa, dude.
Starting point is 00:22:27 You, I don't want your fucking drink. You can't even afford a Birken. No one at the table really can afford a Birken or do they really want to at this point. And also, I hate to say it, but you wouldn't be able to afford a Birken if it wasn't for your mom. So, like, let's just not go there. Let's not do these things right now. There's no sense.
Starting point is 00:22:42 But she's so far gone. It doesn't fucking that. matter. Like, again, we've, I've definitely gotten that drunk before where you just start not making any sense, maybe not throwing a class at somebody or acting like I'm going to, but you just start not making sense. You get really mad and you get tunnel vision at one person. You used to instigate with strangers and then I would be there. Like, wait, wait. Yeah, yeah, probably. That checks out. It was a long time ago, but yeah. Either way, that's, that's pretty much what happened here. And it's again, very funny because the rest of the episode is just
Starting point is 00:23:11 anxiety. Like, it's really, and this is, this is, this is, this is, this is, this is, really ramped up obviously because of who she is and all the TikToks and everybody getting it right away. I mean, I assume that Georgia probably leaked the information to TikTok content creators. There's no other way like, yeah, sure, somebody else in the group put it at the bar, like he definitely could have seen like, because, well, I don't know, because like that's the interesting thing is like, you know, most of them do have a pretty big social media following. So if you're in that age group and people are at the bar, they're probably like, ooh, look, there's, you know, Ariana. Like, ooh,
Starting point is 00:23:44 there's Riley. Like, they probably know them. So I don't think it's that far fetched for it to kind of leak. And I also think it's Georgia. That's what I was saying. Like I could also see it being Georgia like that. And I, by the way, if that was Georgia, she's playing the game.
Starting point is 00:23:58 Fair game. This is what I want to say is that it's very different because you hear us when we talk about like, especially like housewives of Salt Lake City. They cannot go talk to bloggers. Absolutely not. Do not go talk to podcasters. Don't talk to bloggers. Don't spill the details of a season that's
Starting point is 00:24:14 currently filming. This is different. These people grew up. The world that they know is social media. So this is very normal to them. And I'm okay with that because I think social media is such a big presence in this show. But when we get to the housewives, don't do that shit. That's boring. Yeah, it's different. Like that's, it's generational. Like, it makes sense for them to use socials on this show to either make a move, get ahead, whatever it is. Like, it's just ingratiated into the show itself. So I completely agree. But yeah, the next day is just full blown anxiety, which we can most most of us can relate to at least that feeling the way you're going god damn it what did i do uh but again like then here's where i just referenced the entitlement a little bit because
Starting point is 00:24:55 when she's recapping it right candy facetimes her which great to see candy on tv again but she's like tell me what happens and she's like well you know people have their speculations i was like well there's not really much to speculate about like you you picked up a glass and fake through it and you got really mad at and georgia and it didn't seem that provoked And again, like, I don't know the ins and outs. Like, maybe Georgia knows how to press her buttons. Maybe it's something we didn't see. Time will tell.
Starting point is 00:25:21 But it did not seem like that reaction was warranted. And I'm pretty sure, based on how this episode ends, I'm pretty sure Candy called her home. I was like, you know what? I've seen too much. Like, you're coming home. We're going to sit down together and like get through this one. But the way that she's explaining it, again, I was like, I almost went back and rewatch the scene.
Starting point is 00:25:43 I was like, huh? Huh. She just triggers me and she knows she triggers me and she antagonizes me. I was like, I didn't see any. I saw you accuse her of using ketamine and her question that. And then you went off the rails. That's what I saw. Yeah, it might just come down to Georgia's presence just antagonize as rightly as it is.
Starting point is 00:26:02 That's what I'm getting. Yeah. Like simply seeing her face just like Erks or something. Yeah, that's got to be it. And the other piece of this was just a little thing that popped up. I thought I liked Liam. I don't think I like Liam anymore. We're about to get into his seat with Ariana.
Starting point is 00:26:17 I think I'm out on Liam too. When he goes to his confessional, he's like, I didn't see the fight at all. All I saw was Ariada. Shut up. Oh, see, I really like Liam. I think he's just a lover boy. I think he's lame.
Starting point is 00:26:29 Yeah. But maybe I'll change. I don't know. I don't know. He's just a like-minded individual. He reminds me of a younger me with multiple interests. I do not see that. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:26:43 That's fine. I just, he's relatable. And he seems like normal on a cast of, I don't know. I think he's pretty late. Look, that's fine if you're,
Starting point is 00:26:52 if my only issue is that you're like, when people express themselves. How is he expressing himself with his motorcycle in New York City? With his emotions, if he's talking about Ariana. Maybe. Maybe. Listen,
Starting point is 00:27:07 I think it's going to be a weird rude awakening for Liam by the end of the year because as we know, Ariana and Hudson are probably getting back together. So it's probably not going to be. Probably, dude. I mean, I don't know. That's another one that I could do without this. I can't do.
Starting point is 00:27:22 I could personally do without Hudson. The show is funny because Hudson did it because I get to laugh at him the whole time. But they still haven't like quote unquote. I know you're looking at it. They have a quote unquote announced that they're together. But they're still hanging out all the time. So probably. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:27:36 There's no official. They remain close friends. And as of June 22nd, they're taking it day by day. Yeah, they're back together. But yeah, Liam, I don't know. I'm going to keep an eye on him. He might be okay. I just, I got the lame, lame vibe from him.
Starting point is 00:27:52 Okay. So we'll have to see how it goes. All right. I mean, you're wrong, but that's fine. You're entitled to your opinion. I'll get right back to the rest of our episode of next gen, but first we're just going to take a little ad break. And we'll be right back.

Starting point is 00:30:51 You're richer than you think. What we do agree on is Brooks. And we get to Brooks talking about us delayed launch. And, you know, here's the thing. This actually did shed a lot of light, I thought. So he's talking to Meredith. And, you know, such a Meredith line. It's not that hard.
Starting point is 00:31:13 You believe in yourself. And like, this has. happens, which is funny as shit for her to say. But he's trying to approach the show, like Meredith approaches Salt Lake, because Meredith doesn't get involved in a lot of shit. The difference is, and this is like the most important difference, when Meredith decides to show up, it's a show stopper. She comes in out of nowhere and says something either super funny or she goes in and she messes
Starting point is 00:31:44 around and like hint at something and like references somebody without saying their name and she starts a bunch of shit and then she dials it back and goes well I didn't say the name she is good at at showing up when she needs to show up right Brooks is just not showing up
Starting point is 00:31:59 he's just not there like he's he's basically just riding resting on his laurels riding so he's not even riding anybody's hotels necessarily maybe his moms technically because that's how he got show but he's just not doing anything. His reactions are boring. He actively avoids any confrontation.
Starting point is 00:32:17 He doesn't want to deal with it. It just doesn't seem like the right place for him. Seems like a nice guy. Totally fine. Just boring. Like not reality TV worthy from in my opinion. Now we do get a very funny drop in with Meredith while she's talking. She's like, hey, don't, don't worry about it.
Starting point is 00:32:31 Don't stress about it. Like it's, it's pretty easy. What's easy? Creating a company is easy now? Is that what we're going to believe in yourself? All you have to do is believe in your self and everything works out. I got the most excited about this scene was when she's like, you know,
Starting point is 00:32:46 crazy things happened. Angie Kay just texted me. I was like, ooh, update. Yeah, give us an update. Love that. But yeah, it's going to be interesting to watch him navigate the show because he's just, when you look across the board, he's lacking. Gia is stepping it up ever so slightly, but still not doing a whole lot.
Starting point is 00:33:08 And again, like, you can't get away with. the Meredith Marks routine because she is Meredith Marks and like it hits different when she does it. So he's got to find his his role soon and I don't see where that is yet. But I think the number one thing like you've been saying, the complete avoidance of confrontation is not going to play on reality TV. Like it just does. You have to get involved at some point. And you could probably flip the entire script if you just get into it with Charlie like on camera. I call them out.
Starting point is 00:33:38 I think that would work. Yeah. That would absolutely work. If that's the route that you want to go, it would make sense. So we'll see. But we're on the same page with that one. But Hudson, my God. I just can't, dude.
Starting point is 00:33:52 Like, I'm, like, fuck, stop it. Like, get an Uber. Like, just get a fucking Uber. It's like, it's either a Rolls Royce or Bentley. Like, he just looks like that fucking dick bag. Loser. Like, I'm with my business partner, Danny. That's not your fucking business partner.
Starting point is 00:34:08 That's your friend. that you pay to hang around with. Like, stop it. Like, I just can't with this, dude. Like, the jewelry hang in his fucking tattoos. Tattoos. You ever worked for anything in your entire life? You actively don't work.
Starting point is 00:34:22 That's quote unquote why Ariana broke up with you is because you have no drive. You don't do anything. Your business partner is probably just your buddy from school that, like, at the country club that I belong to. And you're just riding up there. Like, you're fucking cosplaying as some, like, upstart business guy. You're not playing as your father. Yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 00:34:41 No, I don't even think he is because I bet you his dad has a really hard work ethic. And he's not even trying to do that. So it's like if I've ever wanted somebody to ever get cut off financially, it's going to be him. Like, I would love to watch that. Obviously, he wouldn't be able to be on the show because he wouldn't be able to afford anything that they do on this show. But that would be very interesting to me to watch this kid get cut off financially because he doesn't do dick. No, and that's, I think, where I get irritated. with him is the, I know I've said it already, but like the cosplay is just like, dude,
Starting point is 00:35:14 it's such a bad look. Like, I don't mind. Here's the thing. Like, if you're a rich kid, like trust fund baby, whatever, that's, this is going to sound funny. It's not your fault, right? Like, I understand that there's a, like, a vibe with those kinds of people. But it doesn't automatically make you a douchebag. You can be a good dude and just be born into money.
Starting point is 00:35:37 that's okay. I'll give you a shot. But when you're born into money and then you act like the kid born into money, God, you rub me the wrong way. Everything he does gives me the ick because he's trying to come off totally different, right? He's trying to come off like a tough guy and like this rich business guys. But again, my business partner, Danny, just say it's your friend. What business did you guys start? At night in the car. Yeah. Like what? Tell me about your business. Like, what are you guys up to? Anything. It's ridiculous. But let's get to our. Ariana, who's making some banana chocolate chip bread for Liam. And you can tell, like sparks are flying a little bit.
Starting point is 00:36:14 I would argue, I know where you're at, and I agree, I do not think Hudson's out of the picture. I'm now wondering if we have a triangle going on in real time. Like, is there a Liam Hudson triangle? And more importantly, and I think this is valid, watching this back, right? They're watching the season now. Ariana's going to see how Hudson's talking, trying to say, like, you can't talk to her. You can't try to dictate who she's allowed to talk to.
Starting point is 00:36:42 I can't imagine that's going to land well because she seems like she's got a good head in her shoulders. She seems independent. I don't think she's going to put up with that. I don't know. I really don't know how that's going to play out. I mean, it's going to obviously be awkward to watch it back. But I think once they're back together and she can say things like that, but they're still
Starting point is 00:36:59 staying together, it'll end up being fine. Yeah. It's just not a very big thing. Like, I know Shy makes it a very big thing, but I think he's just worried, what everybody's going to think. Shy makes things worse. He makes things worse. He just gets so nervous.
Starting point is 00:37:14 And it's very funny to watch. He's like, I don't know. Do I tell him? Do I not tell him? What do you think? I don't know. Yeah, go fucking tell him.
Starting point is 00:37:22 Or you know what? Or Rowan said, Rowan's like, oh, I'll go tell Oriana. That'll work out. Well, just kidding. I'm not going to do that because I'm not going to get involved in any of this. And you shouldn't either.
Starting point is 00:37:30 You just leave it alone. See how it plays out. You don't have to go report back to Hudson. Don't listen to Charlie. because Charlie's just trying to get you in trouble and just leave it at that. Exactly. But no, he just like nervously talks about things. That's what he's doing with Ava and Rowan.
Starting point is 00:37:46 And, you know, one thing he said where I'm like, well, that's the answer, dickhead. He's like, you know, I'm closer with Hudson than I am to leave him. But I'm close to Ariana than him. So should I, that means you are loyal to her down my ass. Like go ask her. Hey, how should I handle this with Hudson? Would you like me to say something? Should I stay out of it?
Starting point is 00:38:06 If she's your foremost friend, he's going after the, well, it's the dude card. It's like, no, no, that's a bad time to play the dude card because it's going to get you in hot water because you're going to go support Hudson. Arias is going to get mad at you supporting Hudson and you're going to cause more shit because you're indecisive and nervous. Yeah, definitely. But we do get to see the date between Liam and Ariana. They're building a closet together. I thought this was really cute. They do seem like they hit it off.
Starting point is 00:38:31 He does seem, if we're just going to play the card of like, you know, who's more ready for a normal rule. relationship and also it kind of fits the mold of like what Ariana wants. He's driven. He's got a lot going on. He's not easy. It would make sense. I just don't buy it. From Liam's standpoint, it's completely different.
Starting point is 00:38:49 I think he actually is buying into it. I just don't buy it from Ariana's. I really don't. I think that this for her, like, I think what Liam wants is to actually date her. And I don't think that's ever going to happen with Hudson in the picture because I don't think Ariana wants us. That's fair.
Starting point is 00:39:05 out whether it's financial or just, you know, comfortability because they've been together for so long. And they obviously want to test the waters. Like this just seems like a fling from her end. And for him, he's looking at it like, oh, wow, this is a really good opportunity for me to date her.
Starting point is 00:39:18 This could be good. I could have a good time. We could be good together. And I feel bad for him in that sense because when I'm watching Ariana, she's like, wow, he invited me upstate, even though it's,
Starting point is 00:39:27 you know, the upper west side. He invited me up state to go, uh, get dinner with his parents. Like, this is, I'm really nervous about this.
Starting point is 00:39:33 I don't know how to feel. I'm like, yeah, I believe her when she says that. I just don't believe her when she says that there's any real possibility. Interesting. Yeah, I get where you're coming from. I'm still holding out hope for this one. But I do, yeah, that does make a lot of sense because like Hudson's going to be that
Starting point is 00:39:48 just noise in the back of her head the entire time of this is going on. But we do get a quick scene with Georgia and Gordon, her cousin, just kind of showing us more about her life. She talks more about her eating disorder and, you know, the rough year that she had. and, you know, always will call that out and respect for people that share these guys of things. I think it takes a lot of strength. So I like Gordon a lot, too. Gordon can come back.
Starting point is 00:40:13 Bring him back. I agree. I think he fits the show as well. But let's get to Shy and Charlie and the inevitable return of Hudson because shy is still panicking on how to talk about this whole thing. What should I do? Should I tell him? You ask the worst person in the group for advice because you ask Charlie, of course he'd be like, Come on, bro.
Starting point is 00:40:34 Of course, you haven't told him already? Yeah. I would have called right away. I would have called right away. And then when Hudson gets there, we get to watch this like fake-ass tough guy routine. I told Liam, like if he wants to be cordial with me, then he better stay the fuck back. But I will crash on if I see that. Stop it.
Starting point is 00:40:52 Dude, nobody's afraid of you. Nobody's scared. You're that guy now. You're the rich kid that's like puffing his chest out. Like, my daddy's going to sue you. Like, stop. That's exactly what it is. It's totally.
Starting point is 00:41:02 the bouncer won't let me in. Does he know who my dad is? Do you know who my dad is? But like, where I lose any respect for him is like, you're asking Charlie, brother, he told you last year he wanted to fuck your girlfriend. He's still saying that in confessionals. Why are you asking him, you little cuck? Stop it.
Starting point is 00:41:23 He needs to go on a retreat and come back and just be different. I think that would probably be good for him, honestly. I think that Hudson just needs to go, go back to Atlanta, go hang out, get close to friends, hang out with your family, maybe learn some business. Go work in a sax piece. Go work in a sax piece. Do that.
Starting point is 00:41:45 It'll give you some perspective on life and maybe you'll be better. I don't know. But the episode ends with Riley and Ariana for a very confusing conversation because Riley is putting all of the onus on Ariana not stepping in. It's like, whoa, whoa. And I'm glad, like, I will give Ariana credit. Like she played it cool. She's trying to find that middle ground. She understands that Riley's going through it.
Starting point is 00:42:07 She doesn't want to add to it at the same time. She's like, well, if we're being honest, like Georgia really didn't do a whole lot, especially not to warrant that kind of response from you. And she's like, well, my friends back home, they would have gotten in the middle of it. The minute that someone was antagonized me, it's like, again, wasn't really that antagonistic. You kind of went off the rails. And now you're trying to place blame. elsewhere.
Starting point is 00:42:31 And again, I'm 99.9% sure that Candy dropped the hammer and told you to get your ass on a plane get home. So just kind of own it, maybe. And I know,
Starting point is 00:42:40 this is where I will chalk it up to their young. And like, I get it. Yeah. Totally fine. I also wonder, like, who Riley spoke to.
Starting point is 00:42:48 I know we saw a lot of different scenes where Riley was reaching out. She sent a text, which Georgia was, George's response, was like, yeah, I actually really appreciate that text,
Starting point is 00:42:58 like her reaching out to me and apologizing. And then when you reread the text, like she didn't apologize. She said, I'm going to take accountability for my part. I shouldn't have done those things. I want to let you know. I would never turn to violence. So that was never going to happen.
Starting point is 00:43:10 And you shouldn't worry about it. But thanks for hearing me out. It's like that's not an apology, but whatever. And then when Riley goes into it, I wonder who she was talking to, who she's getting her information from about what happens. Because her recounting that night made no sense. Like none of the things that she was saying to Ariana about Georgia or about Ariana's role in it or lack thereof made any sense because Ariana is coming from the standpoint of
Starting point is 00:43:34 she wasn't really antagonizing you. I don't know how to tell you this, but you were blackout drunk and you were just yelling at this girl who she didn't start it. You started it when she offered you a drink and then it all spiraled from there. So what do you want me to do? Grab you and pull you away. Like I can't do anything to Georgia because she wasn't doing anything. So whatever Riley's, whether it's her own memories of what happened and she's just got bits and pieces or maybe she just kind of stewed on it for a while and she's just to blame Georgia. I don't know what happens, but I am firmly team Ariana with this one. Like this doesn't make any sense from Riley.
Starting point is 00:44:06 No, and that's where I'm giving Ariana credit for like not going full throttle and being like, you know what? Fuck this and fuck you. I did my best. That's not fair. So she's trying to keep the friendship live, which I appreciate. I do too. And again, like I'll chalk this up to, you know, Riley's young.
Starting point is 00:44:22 They're all young. Bad night. Hopefully she's able to just kind of take it, learn from it. move forward with the group, uh, because it's just a, it's a tough look. And I don't think she's a bad person.
Starting point is 00:44:34 I just think it's a really bad look. Yeah, I don't, I just, I don't know. I don't know where we go from here. Because like you said, I have the same feeling that candy just reached out.
Starting point is 00:44:43 I was like, hey, get your ass home. Yeah, I don't want you talking about these things anymore. But, um, let's,
Starting point is 00:44:49 uh, we got a couple questions in here. We got time for a few. I have to run to a meeting because I work. Aside from this. It sucks. Work. Hudson, I work.
Starting point is 00:45:02 From Amanda Rocky's mom, give Riley some advice to navigate her in managing this. Oh, wait, I missed the first part. So not to make this about drinking because I know Steel is probably tired of these combos. Can you get Riley some advice? That is such a funny miss on my part. Okay. Look, we don't have to do that.
Starting point is 00:45:23 I do not think she's an alcoholic. I think that this is a bad night that she'll probably learn from. this is in reference to that. You read it one more time? Not to make this about drinking because I know Steele's probably tired of these compos, but give Riley some advice on how to navigate her managing this. Okay. I would just say, one, know how you drink, right?
Starting point is 00:45:46 Like, know how you operate. If you're a person that needs to go water in between every drink, totally fine. But I think that's step one, and that's also something you learn in your early 20s. So I'm not going to call her out for that. And two, just if somebody pisses you off to that extent and there's nothing you could do about it, she just triggers you. Don't stay there. Go elsewhere. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:46:08 Would be my tip. I like that one. And we'll, I got sidetracked because I opened for questions. And it's a video of Melania Judice laughing in the back of a cop car. Oh, okay. Yeah, we'll probably see that stone Ronej, I would imagine. Uh, we'll end on this one from Shay D.
Starting point is 00:46:26 Realty. TV reviews. That is a very long name. Do you think the new season of Next Gen NYC has lost its fizz? I'm finding season two very lackluster. It's what we said in the beginning. You got to get Charlie more involved. You can't keep them on ice.
Starting point is 00:46:40 Yeah. No, I think they're fine. I enjoy it. I think it's an interesting take. They don't find their dried. It's just, it's a weird season. I understand why they're icing out, Charlie. But the show needs somebody like him or somebody needs to start acting like Charlie.
Starting point is 00:46:52 Maybe Hudson will just start acting like Charlie and that'll be good enough. Well, they're still under the impression that they are, independent business people that are on a reality TV show. No, no, you are now reality TV stars. It's time to lean into it. Yep. But anyways, we will see how the season shakes out. I have high hopes.
Starting point is 00:47:11 I think they're going to be fine. I think this show has a chance to go pretty long, I think. But that's all I got. You got anything else? Nope. That's our show. Rob, Rose, you're out of here. If you want a $3,000 a month payday for life,

Starting point is 00:48:05 Did I stutter? When an iconic pro golfer. Lonnie? Lonnie. Hawkeye! Takes one last swing of greatness. You were a big shot golfer. I still am a big shot golfer.
