Bros & Shows - Tonsillectomy Torture House (Next Gen NYC Full Recap S2 Reunion Part 1)
Episode Date: September 18, 2026What's up bros?? Well, well, well it looks like Brooks has developed a voice and no it's not because of a tonsillectomy, it's because his mom has been calling him with advice. What a funny mix of what... looks like seasoned vets and first-timers we have here; and no, Charlie is not a first-timer. To no one's surprise, Charlie showed up in a big way that only Charlie can do and it's eating away at the cast. I'm sure we'll get way more Charlie action in the 2nd episode but for now we're just having a good time with some learning experiences for the rest of the cast. Learn more about your ad choices. You know the same way you can skip an ad?
I get it.
I'm Siaiaa and I live in Ice Cove.
I've made some questionable decisions that didn't end up the way I planned.
And today I'm still figuring it out.
Somehow things usually get worse before they get better.
Apparently, that's how I roll.
So bundle up and come along for the bumpy ride.

Well, I was very happy to see that we rolled out the big guns for this reunion.
We went to the actual reunion studio, not the little watch what happens live clubhouse reunion studio, as it should be.
This show deserves the big room.
You think it was just out of, well, I guess maybe not.
I was going to say, do you think it's just out of like sheer volume of the amount of people on this show?
But now Soho, yeah, VPR doesn't count because they just did it at Sir, which I still think is very funny.
but yeah
I mean it's
I want to say it's been a long time coming
but it really hasn't
I mean it just shows you where we are

Brov Bros
Good evening everybody
and welcome back to another episode
Soda Braw Bros.
Your favorite podcast from the Bros.
For everybody,
for whoever wants to listen,
I'm your co-host,
Steele Russell,
joined as always by the one and only
next Goots,
NY Shoots.
What's up, dude?
I think starting this one off,
which was,
it's just incredible,
watching them get ready
and have no idea what's going on.
And you have what we've talked about before,
the coaching from the housewives,
like,
oh, yeah,
my mom said,
do this. If I show up and I don't do this or that, then I'm going to be screwed. And then everyone
else is just trying to like scramble and figure it out. Meanwhile, shy pulls up fully dressed,
ready to go. Am I not supposed to get dressed before this? Like it was so funny in such a good way.
And it even was funny to me that Andy sat there and just kept calling them kids and talking about how
young they were. Like a lot of them were like late 20s, early 30s. Like we say, you know,
it's the younger generation. And that's the whole point of the show. But they're not really that
young except for maybe, you know, Rowan and
Riley. What's the end of
Gen Z millennial?
Like, what's the cross over?
1999?
One, two, three, four, or five?
No, because 91 would be us
at the cusp. I feel like it's 95.
I'm 90. I know that.
So it's not 90. Let's check it
out. Let's take a peek.
It's supposed to be if you were like
five years old at the turn.
Oh, no. 97. 97 to
2012.
It doesn't make any sense because if you're three years old, you don't remember the turn of the millennium.
No, but Gen Z is 97 to 2012.
Millennial would imply 2000.
I see what you're saying.
Yeah.
It means that you were aware of what was going on.
Bairsford Research, age range by generation.
Okay.
World War II, 22 to 27, post-war, 28 to 45, boomers,
1, 46 to
Are we in the sub holder of generations?
Why did we get there?
Apparently, 55 to 64, boomer 2.
Generation Jones,
aka Generation Jones.
Oh, man, I wish we were part of Generation Jones.
Yeah, that's cool as shit.
That's cool as hell.
Then we just turned to like letters.
What did it stop being letters?
No, it was always letters and that is, well, no, I guess because boomers.
Baby boomers.
World War II, post-war, boomers one.
Boomers 2, aka Generation Jones.
then Gen X, Millennials, Gen Z, yeah.
And then whatever, Gen Alpha now.
Is that what they are?
Sure.
Yeah, whatever the hell they are.
I'm definitely not going to care what they are.
Gen Z is just the closest one to us.
But it's also very funny because it just implies
that this is the next generation of Bravo stars.
And everyone's like, yeah, I mean, it's just Gen Z people.
Like, that's what we're talking about here.
Charlie is 31 years old, though.
Probably 32 at this point.
So that doesn't really apply to him.
I think there's other people in that cast that are pushing 30.
know, Liam's 29.
So I don't know.
Which made me feel better about the Kyle thing.
I thought she was like 23, 24.
So the Kyle thing's not as bad anymore.
Oh, so you're on her team where the age discrepancy isn't that bad.
Look, we never age shame.
That's never going to be one of my things.
I don't really give a shit.
It's more so just the optics of all of that given what had just happened and Kyle's on
the rebound and then Ava.
I think the biggest thing, honestly, was we're watching this show where everybody seems
just like fresh out of college, like so young.
And in the midst of watching this show, we heard about that.
I was like, oh, so I think that was the big discrepancy.
And like, I don't really care.
But yeah, it also made me feel better that she's 26, not fresh out of college.
I could definitely see that.
Now, with this reunion, I'm a little unhappy that it's only two parts because I do think
there's a lot to get through when we start getting into all of the things in this reunion.
I didn't have Riley versus Ariana on my map.
So I was very confused as to why we spent.
so much time talking about it.
It was almost like a quasi fourth wall break.
Like, hey, this is how this goes when you're on TV shows.
I think that's why.
I think it was a learning moment.
Yeah, it can be a learning moment for them,
but it's not a learning moment for me.
So why do I care?
At the end of the day, I'm like, we have a lot to get into.
There are bigger fish to fry here.
Why are we spending so much time explaining to Riley how reality TV works when her mom was
a housewife?
It's good perspective.
I thought it was well,
versed in a way and I thought that it was nice to see Riley understand that and it didn't really get contentious which is why I'm wondering why we spent so much time on it but at the same time there are so many other things to talk about I mean we're talking about Charlie and Georgia we have to talk about all of the things that happened in the back half of the season and we just spent a lot of time on that so that was my one discrepancy is just that and the fact that there's not three parts we did two parts so that means the whole next episode better just be are you
on a Charlie, Liam, and that whole love triangle and then everybody else getting involved.
I would imagine that's the route we're going to go.
My guess with the Riley Ariana stuff,
maybe they didn't know because they were under the impression that they hadn't talked
because of how Ariana framed it.
Like they had that whole conversation of, yeah,
the way that she said it made it seem like we're on bad terms or not.
We're just like not communicating like we normally did.
So maybe they thought there was more there.
It's like, ooh, they're not talking.
What's been going on?
So they jumped into that.
And then I don't know why we dragged it on as long as we did.
But I don't know.
I do think the next episode is going to be pretty much the love triangle or I guess
Love Square.
Love Polygon.
That one?
Yeah.
I mean, suppose you can't not because they started dating after the season.
So it wasn't that he was actually never out, which gives me even more questions.
I thought Ariana did fine.
I think she's going to do fine next episode.
I don't dislike her by any means.
talked about this a lot. But I am firmly under the impression that there is, this is an iceberg.
There is far more of this story that we are not getting. We're getting the 10% above the surface.
I think that there's a lot of shenanigans going on behind the scenes. That's what I think.
I mean, Jesus is involved. I just can't wait until we get to that.
The Bible cut over in the beginning. Oh, my God. It's going to be very funny. It's going to be very funny.
I mean, Charlie is, he's that breed that is built.
He's the antichrist, yeah.
No, he's that breed that is built for reunions.
And he does not care if anybody agrees with him.
He's going to stand his ground no matter if it's right or wrong.
It doesn't matter to him.
So that part is going to be so funny and it's going to be so entertaining.
But I just need to know more about how he used Jesus.
Because I don't think that we really scratched this.
I think we were just scratching the surface on that one.
for exactly how much he was manipulating her.
And I just can't wait to see how he's going to spin it.
Because I didn't really see, I mean, obviously you see in the previews to this that
Ava and we knew Shy was going to be on Charlie's side.
But I figured it would just be like, ah, yeah, you know, happenstance.
We agree on a couple of things.
So we're going to put them together.
They are like, I want to do three fingers and put them all together.
Now I just kind of look like Spock.
But you know what I mean?
Yeah, I guess I don't have that much dexterity in my fingers.
I should probably get that checked out.
But at the same time, I didn't exactly see the three of them just automatically riding for each other, which I like.
I do like to see that.
It's much better than just watching Charlie unapologetically shame everybody else that's coming after him because that will get a little old at some point.
I'm still going to find some entertainment in there.
But seeing that Ava's like right there with him and Shai is right there with him and trying to talk to Ava about what's going on.
Like the whole component of everything is very interesting.
I agree.
I wasn't expecting that little trio to.
to morph into this team at the reunion.
I think what's funny and a sign of just a top-tier reality star that we have in Charlie,
objectively from like a character standpoint,
a recap of the season standpoint,
he's not doing well, right?
Like everyone's calling him out.
Everyone's kind of making good points against his behavior.
People are telling him to shut up, this, that, the other.
Even Ava and Shy,
they're going to bat form in regards of like,
stepping in when it gets kind of crazy or like, hey, you're good, but they're not going to his defense
all that much, but all of that being said, he's the most entertaining one here.
His one-liners are funny as shit.
He's going after he does not care.
So as far as like absolving himself of wrongdoing, that's not happening.
But at the same time, he's doing such a good job of just being fucking entertaining.
It's like, that's what you want.
This is what you want when we say villains and.
other shows like we talked about in Roney.
We're not necessarily saying like an actual villain.
We're saying the person that goes against the grain.
The contrarian.
Yeah.
Contrarian.
Charlie's a villain.
Good reality TV villains are very hard to come by in this kind of regard.
Like he is made for this.
He's built for this.
He's narcissistic.
Actually like everyone throws that word around to everybody in the bravo sphere.
Most of them are not actually like sociopathic narcissist.
He is.
that's great for us.
Because it makes really good TV.
Yeah.
Creating the moral conundrum that happens amongst fans
while watching this where they don't know what to do
because they don't necessarily agree with the things he's saying,
but they absolutely love him and want to stand for him.
That's the best that you're ever going to get.
I'm one of those people that I love him so much because he's so great for the show.
And I find it very funny when he says horrendous shit to people
because it doesn't actually affect me.
I don't really care what's going on there.
They have to figure it out.
There's fallout that's going to happen.
And it'll happen quickly because they are very excited about this show, as you can see,
by them being in the actual reunion studio in the big room.
So I'm excited with that.
So I'm right there with everybody else.
And it's just so entertaining.
And everybody that comes for him,
it's funny that you say,
it's not like he's absolving himself of any wrongdoing.
But it does get to a point where he's just wearing people out.
Like, I'm not going to get anywhere with this guy.
that they end up losing and they know they lost.
And it's very funny to watch because it's like, all right,
did Brooks make a couple of good points?
Yes,
early on Brooks made a couple of good points and stood up for himself.
But he did start to repeat crypto torture.
And it's like, oh, man, that's all you got.
You have nothing else to go after this guy.
He's done a lot.
He has done some deplorable shit.
And all you're doing is just asking questions about the crypto torture case.
You're not going to get anywhere with that.
He's not going to actually give you any specifics about what's going on.
he never gives specifics about what's going on
and if he's actually going to get involved and brought in
as like a question person or anything along those lines
if that's all you're going to repeat and then you see it on Brooks's face
like I'm not getting anywhere I'm losing how am I losing
it's a war of attrition it is it's a war of attrition
and it's almost like we turn to a judice which I think is just out loud
very funny every time we turn to G and it's like wow you
you really have it together you are actually clocking things
extremely composed she's the only one who I trust
when it comes to that.
And even then,
he just swats her away.
He's like,
you don't have to be involved
in every fucking conversation that we have.
I'm talking to Georgia right now.
I'm like,
damn,
he's just going.
Anybody can catch these hands right now.
And I'm loving it.
Yeah.
And I think the interesting thing,
we talked about it during the season,
how shocking it was that our voice of reason was a Jude ice.
Like,
she is.
And you see it in this reunion.
She's very put together.
She's very composed.
She knows what she's trying to accomplish in this.
It's weird.
see because like Teresa on the face time like oh she takes after her mama and and she's like yeah no no
not even close no but yeah she's like no she's better she's better than me but I will say
it says we're jumping around whatever I was very happy that Brooks understood the assignment did he do
an outstanding job not necessarily but the fact that he sees the writing on the wall he's
clearly seen the comments. He clearly saw the seating chart and he walked into this reunion
and he understood, I've got to put on a bit of a show. I got to go out here and show people
that I can hang in this group, that I will speak up, that I'm not going to take everybody's shit.
This is a make or break, I think Brooks. And I think that he knows that. So the fact that he came in,
ready to work, I was like, okay, I can get on board with, you know, better late than never.
I'm fine with that because I don't want the show to change. And I think Brooks is a part
that i want the same exact cast next year i don't want to throw a wrench into it by getting rid of
anybody no that he saw the writing on the wall and showed up lunch pale in hand hard hat and
ready to go i give him a lot of props yeah no i give him props for at least trying now did he do
anything of substance not necessarily but he's trying i've actually just come to the conclusion
that he's he might be too nice for a show like this i know and that might be the problem he's too nice
he keeps to himself.
Yes, he had a couple of good one-liners over those seasons of Salt Lake when we were checking in with Meredith's family.
Yes, he started off.
And clearly we were pointed out that he is sort of the glue or he was the glue in the beginning of this show because he made all the friends in New York and he kind of brought everybody together.
But his personality doesn't really align.
Just because he's Meredith's son doesn't mean he's automatically a plug and play.
So watching him go through all of this and you clearly know beforehand, it's like, all right, he got some sort of pep talk from his family, whether it was Meredith or Meredith's.
Meredith and Seth or whatever it might be.
So this is what he has going into it.
And then when he calls his mom at the intermission,
I'm like, oh, no, that's not a good look.
I love that you're calling Meredith.
That's very funny to me.
I also love that she is calling Teresa and, you know,
Riley didn't call candy, but she made at some point.
But I want to see that at the same time.
I'm like, oh, no, you're going to her for advice.
She's going to immediately be like, oh, he's having a rough dial.
Disengage.
And we're watching it.
Like, he's going to have to, yeah, just have to disengage.
Although Meredith does show up to reunions for the most part.
So it's just it's a tough situation for Brooks to be in.
I'm with you.
I don't need him off.
It's not like he's so unpleasant or just off putting or boring.
He is boring a little bit.
But he's boring in like a good way.
Like it's just he's kind of like happy go lucky and he's got to figure his shit out.
He's harmless.
He's just there.
And if he's friends with everybody, he can stay on the show just because of who he is.
But it's funny you say that too because I'm watching Salt Lake like right after this.
And you see Jack Barlow come into screen and I'm like,
you're 21. You're about two years away from getting on next
shit. Just move to New York and get out there. I want to see you
better than Brooks. That's what I want.
You know, honestly,
I was pleasantly surprised
by Jack Barlow in his appearance on this episode.
It's a different side of him. I thought he was funny,
actually. So yeah, bring him out.
As people
like to remind us in the comments,
it's called NextGen NYC
because they're going to do another installment somewhere.
We know. Yeah, we're aware.
No.
But I wonder if Jack is going to go to the L.A. one since it's closer to home.
Or is he going to go to New York because we have that connection of Meredith and Brooks?
Who knows?
I would imagine he'll end up somewhere.
He's got fresh.
Well, it is literally a plug and play, the easiest plug-in-play you've ever had.
He's got his own company, grew up on reality TV.
He's 21, like, easy move.
So I agree with you.
It'll be interesting to see where he lands if he lands in reality TV space.
But let's jump in.
Not that we haven't been already.
But we did get confirmation, as we all knew, the Hudson-Ariana thing was a thing for a little while.
And now she's single and figuring it out.
Apparently, and this is what I thought.
I talked to Dev about it for a while.
Liam and Ariana are going to get together.
I don't know if that's going to be a short stint and then not,
or if they're going to get together later down the road.
But apparently they've been hanging out and rekindling something as of late, which I'm not surprised to hear.
But I was surprised to see him sitting next to her.
When he sat down next, I was like, oh, wow, okay.
So like this is going to be, like you already said, this will be all of episode too.
If we're putting them right next to each other, clearly it's going to be Ariana versus Charlie.
And I think Liam is going to be in the corner, which is going to bat for Ariana, which is going to be a little bit.
With the corner.
Yeah, the got to be here.
He's walking the dogs in the corner, dude.
He's walking the dogs.
As long as he has a chair in the corner, it's a little bit better.
But yeah, I mean, of course, they're probably going to rekindle something.
I, of course, would also advise don't do that, maybe.
Like, just learn from your mistakes.
And look, I don't think that it's the same thing.
I don't think that Ria is going to repeat the exact same mistakes.
But if she's just going around the cycle right now and she was dating you,
then she was sort of hooking up with Charlie.
I don't even want to say dating, but she was probably hooking up with Charlie.
Then she got burnt by Charlie turned on.
Hudson realized that she still doesn't want to be with Hudson because all he's doing and
bringing to the table is crash Lamborghinis.
And then she turns back to Liam.
That's just not a, it's not a cycle that you want to be in.
It's really not.
So I would advise get off of that, you know, just be a friend.
I think if you could, and it seems like he's already forgiven her, just forgive and forget
and move on and be a friend.
That's all you really have to do.
I think that's probably the safest place for Liam to move forward.
He might not be able to help it.
As we talked about in the last couple of episodes, he might just be completely
infatuated. I don't want to say in love. It's not 6 a.m. So we can't say love. So I don't know.
I don't know what the future holds for those two. I wish them the best, I guess you could say.
But I don't really. I wish them the messiest. How about that? Disingenuous. I wish them the best.
Yeah. Question mark. Not really though. But I agree. I mean, we'll see how that one shakes out.
For the show's sake, you know, I love love. So if it works out, that'd be a beautiful thing.
but for the show's sake,
I don't know if the cast can survive a repeat of exactly what happened.
I would imagine there would be falling out.
And again,
I don't want to fuck with this cast.
I think it's absolutely perfect.
So that's my big concern if they do.
But big news for Gia,
Christian and her are moving in together.
So I might be wrong when I said they were going to break up,
which makes me happy because the more I see Gia on my screen,
the more I'm really liking Gia,
like as a person,
not a reality star she's a good reality start too but like she seems like a genuinely good person
so now i'm rooting for her and christian so the fact that they're moving in together yay that makes me
happy uh it only took one episode for you to do that yeah yeah well i haven't seen i guess a few months
because yeah yeah they finished filming then and they had a few months and they figured all these
things out so now you're back on board so yes well i'll say that this cast certainly has a much
larger grace period due to their age.
It's not like watching a Housewives franchise or Southern Charm where I'm like,
oh, fuck them because they've been on TV for X amount of years and you know who they are.
Gia, I'm like, you're still nice.
You're going to probably go down the road of Housewives down the road and it's going to
turn you into a different kind of person, which is fine.
It's going to be entertaining.
But for now, you seem like a really genuine nice person.
So I just wanted to say that with her and Christian.
You know, I'm rooting for them.
Yay.
And she's going to be in the city, which, thank God, because I figured the Jersey thing probably kept her out of some scenes in next gen.
And I want her to be more involved.
Yeah, she definitely has to get more involved.
And we might get to a point where Christians more comfortable on camera.
He needs to be on camera if he's going to be there.
Yeah.
And I posited the theory that he didn't really see this coming.
And then he just kind of strapped on and figured it out.
And now he's trying to figure it out.
I don't know.
Strap down.
Yeah, strapped down on weathered the storm.
but I don't
strapped on to something I don't know
but yeah I mean I have no qualms
I have zero qualms I think the G has started
to show up towards the end of the season
and I feel like she showed up a lot in this reunion
and it seems like she's got the respect to the cast
she's friends with everybody there so yeah there's there's no
issue there whatsoever but I do
think moving forward we're probably
with them living together going to see a lot more
of Christian so he's going to have to get comfortable
I agree with that the one thing I'll give
this cast credit for
and could be an age thing.
It could be a generational thing.
I don't know.
They are very, very reasonable as far as like emotional regulation and acknowledging when
they were in the wrong, which is something I wasn't really expecting because the first thing
we get is the Georgia, Amira, Kevin, all of that bullshit.
So Amira walking into the reunion, she's getting her glam done.
and she even says, like, I think that I misappropriated my anger.
I was like, wow, that's extraordinarily mature, especially for a reunion.
We get out on the floor and she legit says, hey, George, I have you an apology.
There's just really, really bad timing.
Kevin and I were going through some shit.
Some shit happened the night before.
I go to the party and you're bringing it up.
So that that's why I reacted the way that I did.
I was like, wow.
So that's put to bed.
And that's a very mature response because watching it, I was like, oh, I don't know.
maybe not what's going on i i was confused by this what happens what happened what happened with you
and kevin why did it fall on georgia like the thing with oh that i'm curious happens in months before
so you bringing it back up and georgia hearing about it through the gray the gray great the gray oh
you've done that the gay great finds i can't do it it's a tongue twister for me but yeah her hearing
it and then bringing it up and kind of like just shutting you off early in the season we said like
oh man, are you trying to use that as a move a little bit later when you got mad at Georgia?
The timing doesn't really make a ton of sense for me unless we get specific someone
with her and Kevin.
But for whatever reason, any other reality star talks about this, you're going to kind of get grilled
and people are going to talk about it and be like, well, what was going on with you and Kevin?
It seems like everything was fine.
He was definitely up to some shenanigans.
So I want to hear more about that.
But also, you can't just say the timing of it was bad because it came on you when we started
talking about that and I went off on you.
It's like, well, what happens that then turned your focus to Georgia when Georgia's talking
about something that happened months ago?
And the way that it was worded, I'm like, wait, was he openly flirting with other girls?
And he said, I was flirting with Georgia too.
And then it came out that she heard that Georgia was talking about it and then got mad at her
and was like, wait a minute, wait a minute, I'm not actually mad at you.
I'm mad at Kevin.
You're just talking about a situation.
You weren't actually flirting with Kevin.
Kevin was flirting with you.
That's kind of what I got from that situation.
But again, it was worded so confusingly that I didn't really understand what happened.
And we didn't get more information.
I don't know if we will get more information, but it just seemed a little more nuanced than that.
And I think that we were happy to move on because it was like, oh, yeah, we had a big issue.
But you know what?
Misappropriated, I agree.
It's okay.
I apologize.
It's like, wow, okay, cool.
I guess we'll move forward.
I think what I got from it, that's interesting.
Because what I got from it is the drama that ensued the night prior was Kevin
centric and I'm assuming had to do with him being a little sneaky snake and probably texting
or flirting or smooching, who knows.
So I thought it was completely unrelated to the Georgia thing, but it was something along
those lines of him being weird with other girls.
Fast forward to the next day.
And it's another moment that she's reminded of Kevin potentially being weird with other girls.
I think it was nothing to do with Georgia the night prior.
I think he was being.
So you got you, we kind of can meet in the.
middle here where it's sort of like, I'm giving you a pass because I got mad at you saying
that you were flirting with Kevin.
But here, Kevin was clearly flirting and talking to other girls and we were dealing with that.
And then I got mad at you, but I shouldn't have been mad at you.
I should have been mad at you.
So the flirting was initiated by Kevin in her brain at that point because what she was going
through with Kevin.
That's kind of what I got from it again still.
But I'm like, I want to know more.
Like what is going on there?
Yeah.
We definitely, I think landing in the middle, it's somewhere in that realm.
between you and I.
It's something,
hopefully we get some kind of news about that at some point because I'm with you.
I want to know what Kevin's up to.
You sneaky little snake.
We got to figure that one out.
But Georgia and Prez broke up.
Don't care at all.
But it's very funny.
It makes all of their romance scenes very funny.
Like the carriage through Central Park.
They're talking about marrying him the next day.
And then we just have like one line of, yeah, we broke up.
No, romance is off the table.
What?
But we are saving a sperm and some eggs.
And yeah, potentially we're going to rear a child together.
Don't ever change, Georgia.
Don't ever change.
Just be this person forever.
Gold.
Let's take a quick little ad break right here.
And we'll get right back to the rest of the next gen action.

I feel like we all have that section of our closet filled with clothes
that we keep telling ourselves.
that we're going to wear again. I promise. We're definitely going to wear that shirt again,
even though it didn't really fit that well, even though I didn't really get any compliments,
or it still has the tags on it and I actually never wore it, but I have an idea that I might wear it.
And I've been trying to be better about cleaning out my closet. And Vinted makes it really easy
to actually do something with the stuff that I'm not wearing. Vinted is a secondhand marketplace app
where you can sell your clothes you no longer wear and make some extra money while giving those pieces a second
life. And the thing I really like about Vinted is how simple the selling process is, because it
could be a headache. A lot of those other sites are very, very stressful, but all you have to do is
list your item. And when it sells, Vinted creates the prepaid shipping label for you. So you
don't have to do all that stuff yourself. Plus, there's no seller fees. So you keep everything you
earn. And the Vinted app is free to download, which makes it really easy to just start listing some of
those pieces that you have sitting in your closet day after day. Honestly, it's a great feeling to clear out
some of that space, get some extra money along the way, and then you use that money toward
refreshing your wardrobe. Maybe it's some pieces that you'll actually wear this time around.
Ready to clean out your closet and make some extra money? Download the Vinted app for free and
start listing. With no seller fees, you keep every dollar you earn. Give your clothes a second life
with Vinted. Great news. The federal EV rebate is back. Eligible customers get up to
$5,000 with the federal EVAP rebate on select 2027 Volt and 2026 Equinox EV models.

Let's get started.
Ava and Hook, obviously, they are no longer together,
and then Dame heard about what's happening,
so he's pissed off, blah, blah, blah.
They do address the Kyle thing, which I was curious about.
apparently it was one cheeky smooch, a little music festival smooch, it was just that, no big deal,
but George had something to say about it in regards to watch what happens live.
She referenced, well, maybe it was for monetary or social gain.
Why I bring this up.
One, it was very funny because she did say monetary, but because she said or social, she's like,
well, I didn't say for money that it could have been for money.
I was speaking generally.
Yes, it gives her a very flimsy out.
But I think the other thing is to highlight, like, this is why, and I don't want you to change, Georgia, but this is why you find yourself in these positions where people are like, oh, she is sketchy, she lies, she does this, she does that.
I don't think that she's a liar, actually.
But I do think you put yourself in precarious positions because you say shit like this.
But the thing that makes her such a star.
she doesn't realize that that was like a bad thing to say.
And then you look at her season as a whole.
And it's like,
when these things and she like flies off the cuff and says some stupid shit,
I don't think she's registering like,
oh, this is going to ruffle feathers.
I think she's like, oh, yeah, and just word vomit.
And oh, yeah, more word vomit.
And then it falls apart.
And she's like, I'm out here on an island.
Where would I do?
It's like, well, you know, it's kind of deserved.
I think maybe she just needs to like have maybe a suspension enacted.
where she can't access the gay grapevine anymore
because I do think she gets that information
and then regurgitates it.
But she doesn't regurgitate exactly what she heard.
It's always nuanced and it's always some sort of generalization.
And when she's asked about it,
like,
I don't think there's anything necessarily wrong with it.
By the way,
I'm not buying that Ava and Kyle just shared a smooch.
There were pictures of the two of you guys leaving together
and all this other shit that we had to endure for weeks
when we were talking about other things with Kyle.
We're like, wait, he's with Ava now?
That doesn't make any sense.
There was a lot more.
more there than just a it was a little little magical smooch while he was doing a DJ suddenly yeah
i'm not buying it but for her to then get mad at georgia because georgia was asking or answering a
shady question on watch what happens live i'm kind of on team georgia for that one that's okay you know
what keep speaking your mind and say things like that i just love the defense like well i'm talking about
anytime you see an age gap like that it's always for social gain or monetary game whichever one
you prefer i wasn't even talking about you i was just talking jay
generally about age gap romances.
There's always another ulterior motive somewhere in there, at least from what I've seen.
It's like, okay, sure.
I buy it, but stands there and then do that and do whatever you do, Georgia, because it's
always fun.
Yeah, and look, I agree with her.
Not about the age gap thing, but just her defense.
Like, yeah, okay, fine.
I don't think you're in the wrong.
Why not?
Because you're Georgia.
But my question for you, because obviously there's a conversation to be had about this,
But I don't think it's fair to call Shy a liar.
I understand what they're talking about, but I don't think he's a liar.
And I think if you look at his season as a whole, you kind of realize what was going on,
especially when you equate into it the Riley acquaintances conversation.
Shy felt like the odd man out.
He did not feel like he was part of this group coming into this season.
He was very much looking for a place to fit in.
he says as much in the first episode and hanging out with Charlie and Hudson.
He's just trying to make friends and become an actual part of this group,
not acquaintances.
So what does he do?
He tries to make everybody happy.
He's people pleasing.
He's going back and forth.
He's saying some things he probably shouldn't.
But he's also doing that.
As Ariane even says,
I think it was well-intentioned.
I think everything he did was well-intentioned.
I think he got himself into some shitty spots because he'd be talking to Liam.
and trying to be cool with him.
And then he'd go to Charlie.
Charlie's talking some shit.
And he's not necessarily adding on to the pile of shit,
but he's acknowledging and accepting and co-signing the pile of shit.
So I don't think we can call him a liar.
And I think,
honestly,
I'm going to give him a pass only because,
like,
he was trying to fit in.
Yeah,
he needs a little,
like,
slap on the wrist and like,
hey,
don't do that again.
But I think he learned his lesson after the Ariana Hudson thing.
Like,
I genuinely do think he learned his,
lesson. No, he definitely didn't. That's what he said. He said it was a hard lesson to learn.
And I was just trying to do what I thought was best. And I think Ariana said it best.
Like your heart was in the right place, but it, you know, it just didn't pan out the way that
you thought it would. And he learned his lesson. I mean, when we think about him throughout this
season, last year, he was pretty much an acquaintance. He was popping up. He was fun. It was comedic
relief. But he didn't have like a central part in any of this. And then this season, he's trying to
make friends. And he goes to pretty much everyone and tries to make friends.
and I didn't care for the two things I really didn't care for is Brooks going after him.
I didn't really understand what Brooks was going after him for.
We'll talk more about that.
But the main thing was from the Liam standpoint,
like Liam chiming in,
you've been here for a hot sec.
I like you, Liam,
but you don't look at shy and say,
oh, yeah,
and you didn't have my back when Hudson was cornering me talking about boundaries.
It's like,
what did you want him to do there?
I mean,
Hudson's unhinged.
I think that was to the point of like you're talking to me,
like we're going to be boys.
and then fast forward and you're you're on the other team like what happened i think that was i don't
even think he was on the other team i think by the time that any of this actually played out
he wasn't really picking sides he was just kind of there agreed i agree give his opinion like even
when we go to ariana and charlie like he wasn't saying to charlie oh man yeah you got to keep doing
this like half the group was commenting on it like oh of course that's going to happen she's not
going to touch her with a 10 foot pole now they're kissing somewhere else like of course they're doing
not and they're flirting and they're hanging out at 2 a.m.
He's not doing anything that anyone else is doing,
but he's held to a higher standard only when it fits
whatever sort of narrative that they wanted to spin on shy.
He's on the outside.
Yeah, and I just didn't really care for it.
And calling him a liar didn't really make any sense.
But you know what?
Everybody got called the liar.
I mean, Charlie was called a liar a bunch of times.
Georgia got called a liar.
Shai got called a liar.
Brooks got called a liar.
Like everybody's a liar up there.
It was just a word of the day.
Yeah, Brooks is the only one that I don't think is a liar.
George is a liar.
I already said she wasn't a liar,
but I do think that she,
that's hard because I don't think that she lies.
It's not lying in,
yeah,
it's not lying in the literal sense,
but they are spinning things here and there.
And using it to fit whatever they're trying to tell.
narratives.
Yeah, that's fair.
But we get into the like,
oh, Shai's got game,
Charlie's got game,
ha ha.
And Brooks, again, he used it too many times.
But the initial, yeah, you also got caught inside a crypto torture house.
I was like, ooh, okay.
But again, like to Charlie's credit question mark, doesn't mean I'm not charming.
That's good.
That's true, by the way.
That is true.
Just because you were caught outside of crypto torture house does not mean you're not charming
as you show kind of by that answer.
But I agree with the cast here.
And this falls under, we would have the same conversation about a housewife show or Southern Charm, any of those.
When this stuff does occur and then we get hung up on the, oh, I'm not really allowed to talk about it.
Are we not allowed to talk about it?
Are we all on stage?
This is where I want this show to get a little more mature overall because I do want people to press.
They're all trying to, they do not like Charlie.
The vast majority of this stage is mad at Charlie.
Right.
But they're still trying to respect the fact that like,
ah, yeah, if we get into it,
could get him into some trouble or this or that.
If what a housewife show,
they're going online and trying to find court documents
and all that other shit to call it out.
I would,
I would have liked if we had pressed about the crypto thing more than just,
you know,
Brooks going after him and making a couple of comments.
Yeah, and that's all it was.
I mean,
it was really just comments here and there to just try to throw things at Charlie.
But there was nothing of substance.
There was nothing of, I saw this.
You were really close to this guy who was directly involved.
You were at the house X amount of times.
You need to answer for these things.
Even when we go back in the season and we hold him accountable for the fact that he said,
I'm an open book, ask me anything.
As soon as you bring up the crypto torture, he's like, I'm not even going to dignify
that with a response.
Of course not.
And moves on.
There was no follow up.
Like, you guys are just now mad that he said he's an open book and then he wasn't
really talking about any of those things.
He's still not talking about it.
it but you guys aren't doing anything else and it's really just it's a little too normal for reality
tv in a weird way not the not the crypto torture but like in a sense of how we live day to day if
one of your friends or acquaintances or someone that's in your group of friends is involved in something
like that or even loosely mentioned in something like that you just cut ties you're like yeah i'm
not going to hang out with him for a while and if he has a really good response and he actually
says like no i had no part to play in any of this i had no idea what was
going on. I'm completely innocent in this. And it's like, okay, if I'm really close to you,
I'll give you the benefit of the doubt because there's no other information, which there isn't.
But he is loosely connected. And it seems like everybody, at least on the left side of the room,
is like, yeah, this is a little too much for me. I don't want to be around you. I have to worry
about my brand. I have to worry about my life. I have to worry about people thinking that I'm
implicated. Now, I'm not going to do that. I don't want to hang out with you. It's like,
yeah, but you don't get to then go to the reunion and call him different names and implod
imply that he was involved when you didn't do anything all season.
All you did was keep your distance.
So it just didn't hit on really any level.
And I think that's the problem.
But I understand what's going on.
I just don't think it really works for a reality TV show if you're going to bring it up later.
I agree.
That's why I wish there had been a little bit more pressing about it.
Like, you know, well, what was your involvement?
Why were you out there that day?
Do you know the guy that he's not going to answer,
but I would like to do diligence of pressing him about it?
Because what's happening right now is people are going at him.
He has really good responses.
They're not, again, no absolution in those responses.
But they're funny and they're enough to throw people and enough to get a laugh out of some people.
And that's enough.
So he's not getting pressed to the level that I would like.
I'm not saying I need a Charlie dragging session.
But I would prefer.
It's a shit or get off the pot for me.
Exactly.
Like either get into it and talk all about.
it and tell me how you feel about Charlie's implication here or just don't talk about it because
we're not going anywhere with this.
Correct.
Exactly.
But anyway, Andy brings up something in regards to Charlie and some of his actions this year.
Are you homophobic?
Because, you know, talking about Brooks is one of the girls and a couple of other things that
you can point at and be like, yeah, it's a little insensitive.
Let's clean it up a little bit, which I agree with regardless of this answer.
but what a response
I mean 10 out of 10
you can't make this song
what's the bleep out word old
what was the bleep out word
I would imagine the name
I thought it was like dick at some point because it was only
four I'm like big gay dick
he said dick multiple times
yeah no oh yeah that's sure they didn't bleep it out yeah
that's a good point I'd assume name would be my guess
but I need to watch it again to get the
probably was the name you know what it probably was
the name. I need to go back and read some lips. But yeah, I agree. What an incredible response.
And for the record, I don't think he's homophobic. I really don't. I do think it's, it's okay to ask,
though. And he does need to answer because there are some things like you said, clean it up,
figure it out, like stop making off-color jokes, stop making dumb comments or people are going to
start thinking this. And if you have Andy, the head of the network asking you if you're homophobic,
most people would find that as a problem. And they might want to turtle up and try to, you
You know, be like, no, absolutely not.
I would never do that.
He did some of that, but he did it in a very braggadocious way.
And then ties in one of the most beautiful stories of our generation.
What a time for big gay Brian, if that's his name.
It was glorious.
I'm not homophobic.
I got a lot of gay friends.
When he said that initially, I was like, oof.
I don't like that response.
But he had a follow up.
I showed up to the party with Ariana's best friend.
And he sucked two dicks while we were there, two.
and I still, we went home together
and we were talking to his buddy.
He sucked two dicks.
I was like, God.
And then he gets the co-sign from other people.
Like even Ariana,
who's not on speaking terms with Charlie,
it was like,
that did happen.
It's like,
okay.
So there's validity to this story.
He's not just spinning yarn.
He's actually giving an example.
And he's like,
yeah,
it's one of my closest friends.
Not one person refutes it.
Not one person sits there and says,
oh, yeah, sure.
It's just coincidental that you have a close friend
that's gay and you're not homophobic,
whatever.
There's no substance.
it. Like he just, it's part of his charm. He's able to say something funny. He
weaves it in there and it's, it's just undeniable. Like, there's nothing you can say back to
this guy after a story like that and then try to hold a candle to it. Like, it just never works.
And according to you, that was big gay Bryant. And he did in fact suck too. That's what I'm
going to call him. Yeah. Yeah. We want to confirmation, but stay tuned. But moving right along,
we check in with Rowan, who again, I thought she, in the role that she's in, she's doing great.
it's all she needs to do.
You know, if she steps up to the plate next year a little bit more,
I would like that.
I'd like to get involved a bit more just to see, you know,
one of the big things we look for here at the Brof Bros is growth.
We want to see you expanding your repertoire of reality TV.
So we do want to see her getting involved more.
I'd like to see her mix it up.
But that being said,
she was perfect for what she did this season.
She was kind of a reprieve, a little bit of comic relief,
interesting life.
and that person that you can kind of rely on.
She was another beacon for us of like, okay,
what's actually going on?
It's checking with Rowan.
So I like that.
I liked how she talked about, you know,
Brooks' reputation,
Brooks Shields, not Brooks Brooks,
and, you know,
my mom built this reputation.
It would be irresponsible of me to go on TV and disrespect her.
And I like that because it carries over into the,
the candy Riley situation where I thought Riley,
and we were saying it all season,
We were talking about, and we're jumping the gun on a little bit here,
but we can go back to Liam didn't really,
didn't talk about much other than like Hudson boundary.
Yeah.
Yeah.
So when it comes to Riley's situation,
we said all season because the hate online I thought was fucking nuts
for a 22 or 23 year old on reality TV.
And she was going through a lot with her family stuff.
I thought she handled herself really well.
I thought that the answers that she gave made sense to me.
I thought that she took accountability for things.
And I like that she was also like, yeah, it's embarrassing for me.
Like my mom has this reputation in the industry.
Like, our mom's a superstar that does have a good reputation.
So for her to go in and acknowledge like, yeah, that I felt really stupid.
And there's a lot of things I saw that I didn't like.
I thought that she handled it extremely well, took accountability, kind of cleaned up the stuff that
we were saying during the season, like, yeah, let's give her a.
break like you know a lot going on she's young and that's exactly what she responded with and i was
like yeah perfect that's perfect for me yeah that's entirely on brands like don't try to combat that
we can combat that because i do think a lot of the talking heads out there that were condemning her
behavior because she was drunk and yelling that georgia couldn't afford a burkin and they were
upset about that like that's fucking insane like she's 23 years old yeah leave her alone if you had cameras
on you when you were 23 years old it would have been a
mess. He probably would have been canceled. So let's be honest. So let's just move past all of that
and leave it alone. I like that she stood in it because it just shows as we move forward throughout
this whole scene and then kind of tie in all of the Ariana stuff with it. It shows so much growth.
And I love the support from everybody else because yes, they can fight. They can bicker and do whatever.
But once you go through something like this, the identification of, all right, this is a little bit more
real. She's clearly feeling this. She's obviously feeling the breakup between Todd and Candy as well.
and she kind of hid that and probably just kind of shoved it down and it came out at different times.
But she had a problem.
I love her response, by the way, when she says, I don't have a drinking problem.
I have an issue with my drinking limit.
I'm like, that is such a good response for a 23 year old.
Like, yeah, you got to figure those things out.
And most 23 year olds do figure those things out.
There's a big problem right now with the COVID generation going to bars and not knowing how to act
because they didn't go to bars when they were 21 to figure out these growing pains.
So she's seeing it and we're all seeing it because we're watching it on camera.
Give her a little bit of a break and let her work through it.
That's the normal thing to do, not bash her online like weirdos.
Yeah, that's a bizarre debate to attack somebody that's like in college, like very strange move.
And especially it's people in like there are 30s and 40s and 50s like talking in videos about a fucking 23 year old grow up.
You guys need to grow up.
She's she is actually growing up.
You guys are adults going after a kid that's fucking stupid.
But it does bring us to the Riley and Georgia interaction at the bar a little bit just to clean this one up.
I think that it's wildly unfair that we are still pressing Georgia in this one.
Georgia had a lot of moments where you can kind of point to her,
but the fact that we're still being like, well, you were antagonizing.
Like, give me a fucking break.
Like she was going after her.
How much shit are you going to eat before you clap back?
I'm glad that Gia said something because I do think that Georgia takes a lot of shit on this show.
We were talking about during this season.
Like there's clearly something about her.
And yes, she puts herself in some bad spots by saying some stupid shit at the wrong time.
But she never seems malicious.
It just seems like she irritates people.
So that comes out in them talking everybody on the show talks shit about Georgia.
And Gia acknowledging that.
Yeah.
For Gia to acknowledge it on stage.
be like, yeah, she catches a lot of shit.
Like, let's give her a break.
At that point, like, she needs to stand up for herself.
I was like, okay, thank you.
Thank you.
Because two things can be true.
Riley's figuring her shit out.
But that was a bad night.
It was a bad night and you were going after Georgia and she defended herself.
That's it.
And we could chop it up.
And look, defending yourself, especially against someone who's drunk and going after you and
it seems like it's completely unfounded, it looks a lot different depending on who the person is.
I'm very much a person that will sit there and smirk and be like,
oh, yeah, is that really what you're going to do?
You antagonize.
How you feel?
I antagonize.
So, but that's, it's, that's how I defend myself.
It's like, all right, really?
Like, this is what you're going to do.
And then you use sarcasm to kind of diffuse the situation.
Sometimes it doesn't diffuse the situation.
It infuses the situation.
So that's pretty much how it played out.
It's okay.
I don't think that Georgia did anything terrible there.
It's not like she responded and then saw, like,
it would have been way worse if she saw the way that Riley was going after her.
and decided to use something personal from Riley's life against her in that moment on camera,
that would have been malicious and that would have been ill-founded and that would have required
some sort of apology here.
But in terms of discussing all of this at the reunion, I think we got the answer pretty much from
Riley.
We don't really need to go to Georgia to be like, hey, by the way, except for what Gia said,
that Georgia's constantly just catching shit from everybody on the cast.
But we don't need to check in to Georgia and be like, well, how was your response to all of that?
It's like, no, no, no.
We just got an answer from Riley about how she's figuring shit out and she doesn't even
know what she's talking about.
I love that she didn't have a Birkin at the time and she still made that comment and
then bought a burkin afterwards.
So that she could go back and be like, I hope she did.
I really hope that she did because that is such a funny move and that's something that tells
me that you're going to be great of what you do.
Yeah, I have wanted some continuity here.
So I went and spent 10 grand on a purse.
I do have a Birken out.
It would be awesome.
But before we get to the Ariana Riley stuff to discuss Brooks and Shai again, now, there is a big part of me that feels like some of this hatred or bad feelings about Shai is rooted in jealousy.
I would think that especially after the seasons aired, they're at the reunion.
they've been reading some of the comments and stuff like that.
I think that Brooks probably feels some type of way that, you know, he's struggling with the resort line.
You know, Brooks Mark's clothing.
I'm sure he does fine.
But shy kind of made waves.
Like people saw his shit.
I just ordered a sweatshirt.
I told you that from about time.
I ordered it earlier today.
He got people talking.
People got excited.
His entire website of one of ones sold out every single one.
And they're like $300 a pop.
So I think that there's a.
part of this whole thing that Brooks is a little bit jealous he's feeling some type of way the root
apparently is a conversation had occurred between shy and brooks in which brooks had said some
things about charlie and a torture house in this that and the other because cooper was asking about it
apparently cooper is no longer around the which short just said he was my best friend last year and
it seems like he might not be around anymore she probably picks new best friends ever
year that would be very yeah i did you with her but apparently shy and this is why i brought up what
i did earlier apparently shy took that info went and talked to charlie about it talked to other people
about it and brooks didn't like that fair that's a valid right totally you shared some info he spilled
the tea you're mad at him fine i do think this is another situation which shy was trying to make friends
it was stupid, but I don't think he was doing it maliciously.
And to have it carry over to the point that it genuinely affected the majority of your season, Brooks.
I think that this was the root of a lot of it.
That can't happen.
This isn't that big of a deal.
No, it's not like you shared an ultra-personal story about yourself too shy.
And he ran to Charlie who you were beefing with and then Charlie used it against you.
Shy does need to learn that if you tell Charlie,
anything, he's going to run with it. He's going to say anything.
If it's about him, he's absolutely going to bring it up.
So that's just something shy has to learn.
But I think it just ties into what we talked about earlier with shy.
Like he was just, he was people pleasing.
He was telling people everything.
He probably was like kindling some sort of friendship with Charlie and then heard this from
Brooks and said, wow, is that really what people think about what's going on with Charlie?
Let me let Charlie know and give him a heads up before we start filming because I don't want
him to be like, oh, shit, is this what's going on?
Is this what you guys are talking about?
out without knowing. The problem with all of that is, one, if that were to pop up and Charlie didn't
know about it and he didn't know that Brooks was talking about that, he's fine. Charlie can handle
himself. You don't need to help him out. He's actually the last person on this cast that you need
to help. He's fine on his own. But two, you get dragged into all of that. And because Brooks can't
lash out at Charlie, who he's actually mad at because it does nothing to Charlie, he's going to turn to you.
And that's pretty much what we saw for everything, even with the spat between Ariana and Hudson and him
and all the information that he was kind of flowing through
and trying to help out his buddy Hudson,
he realized very quickly,
he's like,
oh, fuck,
like,
I'm going to be the fall guy for a lot of this shit.
If I don't actually make these friendships,
if I don't actually make a name for myself.
So I agree with you.
I think it is rooted a little bit in jealousy with the clothing line,
and we talked about that a couple of times
throughout the course of the season.
But I think it's also that.
It's just shy kind of finding his way.
And it seems like every time he went down a corridor,
there was a locked door at the end,
and you turned around and you got bombed.
every single time.
So he's learning as he goes.
And I think we're going to see a much different shy next season, too,
because he's going to be a little bit more confident.
He's going to have better friendships within this group.
But this is just a tough one because we watch this squash at the Thanksgiving party.
And now we have to bring it back up.
And it's like, oh, this is actually about something that happened off camera before.
It's like, okay, no, you kind of lose it.
Yeah, exactly.
And that's kind of part of Brooks's season.
It's like, yeah, dude, this is a interpersonal thing that that you're mad about
off camera. We don't care.
It doesn't really have a lot of bearing on what's going on stage.
So, yeah, like I said, all that shows me is like you let this affect your season.
You let this affect your overall performance.
Given the fact that whatever it is that you're talking about, if it's specifics with Charlie
and this crypto house, why didn't you bring it up on camera?
If you're going to talk about it beforehand, then get mad at shy all season long because that
happens.
Why not talk about it?
Like that is kind of just what I was going to say housewives one-on-one
because he should know that, but it's just reality TV one-on-one.
Like, okay, I didn't want to talk about this,
but you kind of force my hand by telling Charlie, now we have to have it out.
Like, that's what should have happened.
Yeah, it was a layup.
But let's get to the Riley and Georgia stuff.
Not before I get to say my favorite line of a reunion.
And Shine's good for these all the time.
And the fact that he says these unironically is one of the things that makes him so great.
Don't bring my talk, Tom, select you into this, bro.
don't you dare talk about my tauntles on stage you piece of shit
gold so good but Riley and Georgia as you said we have to spend too much time on this
get to some questions shortly but apparently a lot more of what was going on that we didn't
know we learned something I didn't know that I don't know I did know what am I talking about
that confessionals happen but that's not a confessional after show they haven't seen the show
at the after show I did not know that right and that
changes a lot actually through all of Bravo.
Like that makes a lot more sense why we get these after shows and we're like,
what the fuck?
I think they're clips.
Like if I remember correctly,
because we've had this discussion before.
It was the other houseway.
I think it was Salt Lake City where people were starting to turn on Lisa in the after show,
but they hadn't turned on her before then.
They were giving clips of different things that happened.
So they don't see the confessionals.
They don't see a lot of the other stuff.
They see like the main scenes that they were involved in and say,
what did you think about this?
Like, you can actually watch them.
I think they show them pretty much sitting in the chairs there.
So you get bits and pieces, but you're not getting the whole story.
So it's almost like confessional and steroids.
Like you've had a lot of time to think about this.
This is the scene again.
So you can put yourself back in your shoes and then figure it out after that.
So to see that Riley still felt the same way, which I thought was just kind of like a typical,
you were hungover, you woke up, the whole world was talking about you.
Your mom's calling you and saying, why are you trying?
ending, then you look for someone to blame because you're not quite at the point of like,
I need to blame myself.
Except I'm going to blame someone else.
That's kind of what we chalked that whole conversation with her and Ariana and Ariana's
apartment to, to find out that she's had this much time and probably started doing the work
on like, hey, I need to kind of straighten up a little bit and then be like, yeah, you know what,
Ariana really didn't have my back.
I don't think anybody really could have had your back in that situation.
I think even if they were to pull you to a different room, you probably
still would have been saying shit about Georgia.
You were kind of locked in on Georgia.
Maybe it would have been a little bit better
because you were removed from the situation.
But there's not a lot that a friend can do
aside from telling you to stop and sit down and stop doing it,
which is pretty much what Arianna was doing.
Yeah, the only part, I was like, oof,
because she's like, well, you know,
I have friends that, like would have tried to get me away from the table.
It's like, well, she did.
She did do that.
But it all gets squashed.
You know, like it's a misunderstanding.
Riley hadn't seen the footage.
She understands where she went,
wrong. And she even slips a joke in there.
And so what do you want me to do? Throw a lemon at me.
Mm-hmm.
Well done. Well done. Yeah, good one.
Yeah. Pull the old Jackson. Very good one. Yeah.
Oh, yeah. But the last part is back to Georgia. And this is the Georgia Charlie stuff,
which we have gotten bits and pieces of it. Right. And like I, after watching the season,
kind of figured that they probably weren't stealing.
most of her idea.
It's probably little things, but she, you know, gets the other thing.
I don't think you can claim theft when you're coming up with a new business venture every
week.
I don't think that you can, you can then be like, well, you're taking this.
It's like, dude.
And that's what Charlie kind of says.
It's like, it's the cleaning thing.
It's this, it's that.
And like, there's no follow through.
It's like, all right.
So if you came up with an idea.
I love how soft you did that too, because what he did was like very, very mean.
Oh, yeah, super mean.
It was true.
and it's factual, but he finds a way to be so mean about it and so cutting about it.
Yeah.
Okay, yeah.
But when you listen like that, it's like, yeah, I mean, he's not wrong.
He's just, no.
This is what he does.
Yeah, no, you're right.
He was super mean about it.
And that's what my point was early on in this episode is like he's not doing anything to make
himself look better.
No.
But that's why he's as good as he is on TV because we don't want that.
We want him to lean further into this persona that is.
Charlie the villain and he's doing that and he's doing it in a way where he's like you guys are so
fucking stupid. Why would I apologize for a situation for a made up delusional situation? That's
insane. And I'm like, it's not wrong. You're not wrong. I mean, you should apologize because
you're a dickhead. But at the same time, like, yeah, you didn't say that you were doing the bowling alley
and all that stuff. Somebody else said that to Georgia. Really owe her an apology. But you do
because you've been really mean to her.
And you could have just squashed the whole thing in the early on by answering the phone.
And you'd never answered the phone.
She called you allegedly.
So I don't know.
It was it was great to watch.
Again,
he's just leaning full throttle into the asshole.
Fine with it.
Totally fine with it.
Totally fine with it.
It's a very funny situation.
And like,
I think if I had to guess,
because him and Georgia were friends at one point,
and obviously they had a falling out.
He still blames her and says,
you're just mad at me,
even though you should be thanking me
because I gave you this life,
all of these things that were doing on this show.
You wouldn't be here if it wasn't for me,
which also could be true,
but who cares at this point anymore
because Georgia is great.
But it is very funny because it just seems like a situation
where you've tried to get Charlie in the past
to apologize for hurting your feelings.
And he goes,
feelings aren't even real.
Why would I apologize for hurting something
that doesn't fucking matter?
So you try to go to him with facts.
like, hey, you fucked up in this situation.
Like, what she's mad about is you're paling around with my ex.
You were friends with me and him.
Now you're no longer friends with me.
You're probably not even friends with him, but you're paling around with him.
And then you're kind of just shoving it in my face that you guys are going to open a club.
What am I supposed to think?
Of course, I think that Omar is going in there and saying, oh, well, I got these ideas
from Georgia.
Let's run with this.
Like, we already did the groundwork on this.
But that's not the reality.
So you're trying to bring him those facts.
and it's not factual.
So he's also not going to apologize for that.
Like you have to catch him like perfectly on something that he did wrong that he can grasp.
And it makes sense.
And he's still not going to apologize.
He's still not going to take accountability.
I'm sorry.
Then everybody else.
Yeah,
then all of a sudden feelings matter.
Then everybody else on the cast is going to be like that is exactly true.
That is exactly what you did and what you said.
You should apologize for that.
And then he might actually apologize.
It's just funny because I thought again, much like before we get to the ski trip.
but it seems like he has kind of made headway
and George has kind of forgiven him for that.
Once she found out,
we're not doing a bowling alley.
We're not doing like the third floor members club or whatever.
I'm not calling it club, club, club, club, club,
which was also very funny.
But I am just kind of running with this.
And yeah, Omar's here.
That's it.
That's the end of it.
There's no other similarities to what you're doing.
So don't do this when your track record is 15 different companies
that haven't gotten off the ground.
And he makes a lot of good points.
He's very mean about it.
but he makes a lot of good points.
Yeah,
and I think the one thing,
like if she really wanted to try and pivot and kind of catch him,
I think it lies in the loyalty thing.
I think that's where you could get him backed into a corner
because he's like,
I don't know, you shit.
And everyone's like,
whoa,
she's your friend and you're mad about loyalty.
Like you don't give a fuck about loyalty,
but you do.
Yeah.
So I think that's where you could catch him.
I still think he'd wiggle his way out of it.
But fantastic first episode.
I was very impressed with this.
A lot more to talk about, a lot deeper on things that I didn't think were going to be discussed a lot.
I agree with that.
Still, they're just so entertaining of the cast that they could talk about anything and there's going to be beef in there and there's going to be good drama.
Yes, exactly.
But let's see what you guys had to say about it.
Lots of questions.
Yep, lots of questions from Diana and Jerry.
do you think that Andy's taking it easy on them?
I don't think he's taking it easy on them.
Oh, you do.
Okay.
I don't think he's taking it easy on them.
I,
this is going to sound bad,
but I mean it with love.
I think Andy might be a little aged out of this one,
and he doesn't know how to communicate with their generation.
He doesn't,
he spends a lot of time getting explained to how things work,
and he doesn't really get it.
He focuses on the right things and lets them go for a while,
but I don't think he understands what's going.
going on at all times.
I think that it's related to that.
I think it's more so he looks at them.
He calls them kids the whole time.
I think he looks at them as like kids in this situation.
So he's there more to referee and just like make sure it doesn't get out of hand,
but not to chime in like you would see normally on.
Think about it.
The one person he pressed was Charlie.
Charlie's the oldest one there.
And that was the one time he doubled.
down and was like, are you homophobic?
Which I appreciate that you did that.
But with the rest of me, kind of let them go and then would throw out actually some
supportive comments to them to kind of, yeah, you're all right.
You got this.
I think that it's just, yeah, I think it's that.
It could just be the first, the first reunion jitters or whatever that might be classified as.
Yeah.
Uh, from 77 Carabar 4.
Is Gia not like Riley or Ava?
The way she talks about them and to them is out of pocket.
wrong. I think
Gia's trying
to play middle and
be that person that's explaining things
to other people and trying to like walk them through
it. But I do think she has her
opinions. Like I don't think she
agrees with Charlie Ava.
Shia, I even feel bad putting in there. He's
just friends with them. But I don't think she agrees
with Charlie and Ava and I think she's trying to get
through to them. But it does kind of seem like
she's pressing an opinion somewhere in there.
But she's doing it in like such a middling way
that it's tough to identify.
Yeah, I can co-sign that.
This is a good one from Kai KC84.
She got two.
I'll read the second one just because it's my favorite line.
But first question,
did Charlie pull a Tamara and bring Georgia on the show just to take her down?
Maybe.
I wouldn't put anything past them.
I think that every single person on this show is a means to an end for Charlie.
I think that's how he sees this as a game,
which is what you want in your reality TV.
scars, but he's looking around that room how he can play everybody, use them to his advantage,
start a business with their boyfriend.
Like, yeah.
So do I think it's like the Tamara judge move or is like, oh, I'm going to bring you on and just
drag you?
No.
But I do think she was a means to an end in some regard, yes.
Yeah.
From Jennifer's 612S, do you think that Brooks came ready to attack Charlie to protect his job on
the show?
Yeah, I do.
Absolutely.
I think, and look, it makes sense.
I mean, generally speaking, you go after someone like Charlie who you really, that's the only person that you're beefing with and that you have strong feelings about.
Like that is kind of where you direct your energy.
He's not doing a great job because Charlie is a very tough target to hit.
But that is pretty much what I think he's doing.
Yeah, I think Meredith sat him down and said, you are last chair.
You need to, you need to show the fuck up today.
You're putting the Marks family to shake.
Meanwhile, Meredith doesn't talk the whole season.
and then shows up at the reunion.
So she knows what she's doing.
I'll say that out for the end.
That's funny.
Meg Norm,
how do we feel about Charlie's dismissive energy towards women?
He's an evil wench.
He is.
He is all of the things.
Yeah,
you are correct.
I will say he does have the same dismissive energy towards dudes.
It does seem like everybody,
anyone can catch it at any time.
So I don't want to lump him into like,
oh, he just hates women.
He hates everybody equally,
which is, again,
a good,
good villain. Yeah. Yeah. He is an evil wench, but he's an evil wench that this show needs. He is
absolutely necessary for next gen. Yeah. From, no, I already read a question from you. Oh, boy.
From Shoshi Davis. Have you guys seen slash heard Shai's band? Thankfully, it's not another
Bravo DJ situation. I did not see. No.
but I will check it out.
I will too.
I hope that he just is this like treasure trove of hidden talent.
Just one thing comes out each season.
All of a sudden he's like a superstar.
That would be the best trajectory for shy.
As he starts out as the awkward acquaintance and turns into the star of the show,
which I look, it could happen.
That would rock.
You go, because you got one more in there.
The last one.
Yeah, here you go.
This one's very funny, very honest.
and I very much appreciate it from Sylvia back to the,
I unfortunately would fall for Charlie's Ways.
His example for how he's not homophobic had me on the floor dying.
I appreciate that so much.
Thank you for being honest.
I knew that was the one that you were going to use to.
I think a lot of both men and women would fall for Charlie's shit.
I think he's very good at what he does.
Yeah.
So yeah, great start.
Great start.
I hope we get more into the nitty gritty of it.
I think that's also a sign of a good show.
we really didn't dive into a lot of big shit this episode,
and yet I was still entertained.
So, yeah, we got a big episode two coming.
Mm-hmm.
We sure do.
Well, that's all I got.
You got anything else?
Nope.
That's our shoe, Bradfroser out of here.
