Bros & Shows - Vicki's Working Vacation Gets Her In Trouble (RHUGT Full Recap S5E2)
Episode Date: August 20, 2026What's up bros? This old fashioned road trip keeps on trucking into BH so we can get the west coast franchise stops out of the way but it has a very different feel than a typical BH episode. From Kyle... & Vicki's strange heart to heart to Vicki getting scolded for working while uhh working to well, anything involving Vicki, it seems to have gotten Kyle in a different, better mood to film and we'll take it. We'll of course have to see where it goes from here to Kyle's White Party but honestly this was a nice version of what's usually a boring BH product. Thanks other franchise cornerstones! Now, obviously, there's not a whole lot to discuss on this show, just given the structure of it.
But I will say, I enjoyed Kyle in a few of these scenes.
Shockingly, I actually enjoyed Kyle Richards on my screen.
I think it's deeper than Kyle.
I think Kyle's definitely the most surprising.
But I think because this is the first good ultimate girls trip cast ever, like in the existence of the show,
you're seeing so many glaring issues.
Lisa even talks about it in a confessional.
It's just night and day from their cast going here and having fun.
Look, we don't want fun all the time.
We want some drama mixed in.
And there's no doubt in my mind that there would be drama with this crew at some point.
But the foundation of this show is let's have a good time and celebrate our lives.
And they're having a great time and celebrating their lives.
Like what more could we ask for?
This is a fun, short, whatever show.
And before we even get into it, we did find out.
Thanks to your comments, guys.
Thanks a lot.
There are nine episodes, so we know.
We know what we're doing.
I've got the full structure down now, so we don't have to play the guessing game.
As there's a drive in a deep left field by Castellanos.
Oh, man, it's 8 o'clock.
And so that'll make it a...
I don't need the spotlight.
I shine just fine.
Hi, I'm karma.
And yes, I am a bitch.
Brov Bros.
Good afternoon, everybody.
Welcome back to another episode of Brav Bros.
Your favorite podcast from The Bros for everybody.
For whoever wants to listen, I am your co-brose.
host Steel Russell joined as always by the one and only ultimate Goots trip what's up dude
that's a trip that I would go on it wouldn't be a cruise just put that out there would not be a
cruise I don't like cruises so knock against you I just think just think cruises what do you mean
not a knock against me I have never been on a crew not you I the listener the the plural you
you all you're a cruise person that's cool I think I want to be a cruise person but I don't think I
would be. No. No, there's too many weird things happening on cruises. You're either,
it's, I feel like it's like 50-50. You're either going to get stuck on an island because there's
some sort of like viral outbreak or you're going to mistakenly find yourself on a swingers cruise.
And you're going to be like, what's all these pineapples? What's going on with those?
Pineapple crews, huh? Everyone's got pineapples on their door and there's a lot of banging going on.
This one sounds like down. Let me turn it up. Yeah, I don't know. Like, I,
I kind of envy people that enjoy cruises because they get so excited for them and they're just on a boat for like two weeks.
I don't know if I would do that, but I want to be able to do that.
You know what I mean?
Maybe I should try one.
Dev and I've gone on a cruise and I'll report back.
I think this is just fun and interesting.
No, God, no.
I was going to insult a lot of people, but I'm going to pull that one back.
And it was, it was like very Disney Central.
But no, there is one that goes from Philly now down to,
there's one that goes from Philly to Lake Florida,
and then there's one that goes from Philly to the Caribbean.
But I think that would be kind of interesting to go from Philly in like November or March
when it's cold here and you can go outside like periodically.
And then randomly you get down south and you're like,
whoa, it's actually warm out.
This is awesome.
Like instead of just, which is one of my favorite feelings of the world,
going from a cold place to a warm place and getting off the plane and you're like,
oh, yeah, this is nice.
I feel like my joints are warming up.
You could actually feel that on the cruise.
So that would be cool.
I'd be in on that,
but then I'd want to go home afterwards
or just like get off in Florida somewhere.
The only one I'm really interested in that I think would be cool
is the one that goes like through Alaska,
like in the Bering Sea and stuff like that.
I think that would be kind of dope.
But yeah, I don't know.
I don't know.
What about the cruise?
You have to take a cruise.
Ooh, Ultimate Girl's Trip Cruise Edition.
Oh, man.
That I would sign up for to watch, obviously, because I do think at some point and people who go on cruises can probably get attest to this, going on a cruise with your family by the end of the cruise, you kind of want to kill everybody.
So if you throw the ultimate girls trip on there, oh man, they're going to rip each other's heads off.
I think that there's something there.
Let us produce that, Bravo.
Let us produce Ultimate Girls Trip Cruise Edition.
Yeah.
You know what we could do is we could just put like any.
housewife that's ever had a variety show or a cabaret like Luann and they have to perform and they have to
perform every night so instead of what we're getting right now we're they now we're putting something
together we've got something going on here it's it's it's going to be like mean because we're going
to call it like a talent show at some point and they're going to be offended by that but what i like
talent this show um nice but no i'll do you one better so that's the setup i like that and we have to
see how many variety shows or acts that we have total but
It's a competition set up.
Two acts go per night.
It's really need like six to nine episodes.
We don't have to make it too drawn out.
Two acts a night.
We vote one act off.
They get kicked off the boat.
And then the winner gets a contract on a regular season of housewives.
Oh, yes.
Put Simon Cowell is one of the judges.
Let's just make this a huge fucking circus.
Let's put that up there.
Let's bring Randy Jackson.
and back. He's actually only signing samurai swords.
Paul Abdul. I'm just basically just doing American Idol season one.
So the original American Idol judges. Yeah. Yeah. He's the host. Kelly Clarkson,
Ruben stuttered. Brian Seacrest, of course.
Okay. Yeah, there's going to be a better host.
There's got to be something more in tune with like Bravo and this.
What's a jury?
What's a random one? Maybe. I like Jerry.
It's not a terrible idea.
Yeah, JOC is definitely, he'd been the top three of who we're interviewing for this.
I think you'd have to interview Seacrest out of respect, right?
He's got to be in the discussion.
You have to make him say no.
That's the whole thing.
Right.
We get JOC in there, who's probably our frontrunner, and we need one wild card, wildcard host,
Johnny Knoxville.
Yeah, why not Johnny Knoxville?
Throw them out there.
That could be a little one-off action.
I would also throw into the ring, Mark Wahlberg, not Mark Wahlberg that we know.
Mark Wahlberg that does Temptation Island.
I want him out there just because he's funny.
Okay.
There's a lot of those Netflix shows, like no Nicolet.
I'm over him.
I forget who was doing perfect match.
But yeah, any of those Netflix ones, they can kind of all get lumped in together.
But yeah, I think we have something here.
You know, Meredith Marks DJing one night, Lisa Barlow singing her one song,
Ashley Darby just coming out as
and choosing what she wants to do.
Luann has her variety show.
You have a night with the Grand Dame.
Yeah.
There's another one.
There's quite a few.
You can even get,
you know,
Portia and Ellen Robbins sitting down
and just doing a podcast.
Yeah,
you could have them do.
Hammer and Teddy.
I like this.
There's something here.
If there is a producer listening to us,
and I know some of you do,
hit us up.
Let's brainstorm here.
We just wrote out a great show.
Yeah, trademarked.
It's brought out a great show. Yeah, trademarked.
Brof Bro's copyright certified.
Now, just to tie it all together, since I already started off at the 50-50,
would this be more likely to turn?
If you get kicked off the boat, you get, you have to walk the plank.
Okay, now you go.
Walk the plank.
Or it's just a very dramatic, like, rowboat out.
No matter where they are, you just get the row away.
Yeah.
So what is it more likely to turn into, though, from my 50-50?
Is it going to turn into a swinger's event or is it going to turn into a viral restriction?
I don't know.
It could go either way.
I will tell.
It depends on the season.
It depends on the contestants.
Yeah.
The last thing we need to decide and then we'll start recapping what we can in this episode is where is this cruise?
What's the route?
I don't know.
You don't really hear about cruises on the West Coast.
except for the one that you just talked about with the Alaska one.
That would be fun.
Let's start there.
Let's just go through the bearing straight.
Why not?
I like this.
All right.
Well, we'll see.
We'll let you guys know if we talk to anybody official about this because one,
we would be fantastic producers.
And two, this is just a good idea.
So hit us up, Bravo.
We will get the ball rolling here.
Our flat rate is $200,000 each just to start.
And then we'll let you know our alley rate when we get there.
But anyways, Ultimate Girls.
trip, not cruise edition. This is a good show. And here's why. As you've said, other cast,
we talked about this last week, they just throw a bunch of randos together and they don't really
have any background and it's people that we don't really care about anyway by bringing on the heavy
hitters. And I'm assuming they put a lot of money into this just on contracts alone to get these
ladies to do this. But I wonder what the takeaway is. Like, are you getting back what you're
investing because I would imagine that the numbers for this show have to be better than any other
ultimate girl strip. Yeah, I mean, they have to be. But I think it's really just,
in a way, it's almost piggybacking off of the grandeur that was BravoCon with them celebrating
the 20 years. So it's sort of one in the same in a way. It's more of a celebratory thing. So I don't
even know if they're looking to get that back, but I'll tell you what they've done is they've nailed
the nostalgia factor. And we're only in Beverly Hills right now. We've gone from OC to Beverly
Hills like yeah you know OC was a little clunky here and there whatever i'm not really even going to
concern myself with it but beverly hills from this just talking about all of the fun things everybody's
having a good time and then when they're traveling from place to place you can tell that some of the
women are getting on each other's nerves i mean vicky right now just has a target on her back
but i thought that she did a good job handling herself i mean when joselle's trying to do the joselle's
type of thing she's able to knock her down and then we kind of just go right back to it and that's
something that even like all of the women on the cast are saying it's just nice to be
able to be like, ah, okay, that's what you mean.
Like, Teresa, not getting upset.
She sat with it.
She stued on it for a little while.
And then she's like, oh, okay.
So you think I'm pretty.
All right, that's good enough for me.
I can move forward with that one.
And everybody's okay.
And then we just get to just relive moments, which, yes,
you can't do this every year.
You can't have it all star cast every single year where we relive those moments.
This just seems like they're throwing everything out there, which they will.
But there's also a lot of tie-ins.
And I am more so looking forward to next weeks because we're having a huge party,
Kyle's White Party, which we didn't really get to see in Beverly Hills because we just kind of
supplanted that instead of the end of the season. We did Dorete's book cover release. That was the big
event at the end of the season. So we're doing Kyle's White Party, which is fun. They saved it for this.
And it seems like they have all of the Salt Lake City girls are coming up. And then we're going to get
like a mix of a lot of the Beverly Hills women and obviously the women that are already on the cast.
So that's going to be a lot of fun to see how they interact because it's not always just flowers.
It's not always just really nice times in a lot of respect.
There is some beef out there.
There are some women that just simply don't get along.
And I guarantee you, Brava is going to throw them out there just to see what happens.
And I hope we get some good drama from it.
Like, if they can nail that too, it's a good show.
And it's a good run.
I know nine weeks, you know, by the end of it, we'll be like, oh, man, just one more, one more.
But we complain about the 20 episodes of seasons for a lot of things.
That's a good problem to have.
Yeah.
And I think we talked about it last week as well.
I think my biggest hope for this is that everyone involved and everybody watching that are actual housewives,
that it kind of rejuvenates the franchises overall,
where it's a reminder of like,
hey,
you remember this and not just the nostalgia factor of like seeing some of the iconic moments,
which is a delight,
but more so what you got to see in this episode because it shows that the ladies are aware,
right they're aware that they're not having a good time on these shows they're aware that it's
constantly just bickering and fighting and we don't really get those agrees like we used to so that was
kind of my biggest hope is that all the people watching the show when they get back to their
respective cast on their respective seasons that they're like hey let's lean into this a little bit
more let's get back to our roots a little bit let's have some fun sprinkling some drama
but we are a group of friends at the end of the day and I think that this has a chance to do that
especially with the people involved with it because they're going to go back to their shows.
And most of them are there like the HBIC of their respective crews for the most part.
So when they go back, maybe they'll be able to inject some of this life into their own seasons.
That's a possibility.
Yeah.
The other piece of the puzzle here that I'm not really sure how it fits because I don't understand how the revenue works for streaming stuff.
But I imagine there's a lot of people going back and watching the first second season of Beverly Hills right now.
Like, oh, wow.
I forgot about that.
Let me throw that on.
So they are getting some residuals in the way.
But at the end of the day,
I think this really just is a celebration of all the things
that they've been able to do for the last 20 years
and talking about it.
But you can kind of see,
this episode,
it's the second episode.
They've only been there for three days
as we hear from Porsche when she's on the phone with Nini.
They're already starting to wear a little thin.
So it's going to get to a point.
And I talked about this in the cold open.
We do now know the structure.
They're having another episode of Beverage
Hills, then two in Atlanta, two in Miami, one in New York and one in the Berkshires.
So that's the layout for the rest of it.
By the time we get to that second Atlanta episode, when they have to travel across the
country, they've been spending a lot of time together.
They know how each other tick.
We usually see it in Ultimate Girls trip, but they've done a good job of getting rid of that
thing that I hated where it's like, oh, I don't really know you.
Tell me your life story.
It's like, we know.
We understand that.
This is a lot of respect.
I used to watch you, whether or not they actually used to watch each other.
I don't really care.
but we've gotten that out of the way by just replacing that with nostalgia.
By the time we get to Atlanta, there's going to be some shit popping off because they're going to be annoyed with each other.
As we usually see in an ultimate girl's trip, by that fourth or fifth episode, we're like, all right, you guys have been spending a lot of time together.
You're pissing each other off.
Good.
This is what we want to see.
It took a while to get here, but we kind of ramped it up a little bit in the beginning.
So I think the structure is a little bit better and they did it right this time, which is why I'm happy.
Yeah, and it's definitely a lot to do with the fact that these ladies have, for the most part,
interacted before.
Like they know each other.
It's not like, oh, you know, I've heard about you.
It's a lot of like, oh, you know, we've done BravoConn.
We've done other specials.
So you definitely see more of a rapport between them, which is playing really well on the
camera.
But the first thing in this episode, and we're going to jump around a lot because
there's, you know, not a whole lot to talk about.
But the Kyle Mo thing, it felt like we got zapped back to watching Beverly Hills.
because she was off in the corner crying because it's her 30th anniversary.
And you thought that Vicki maybe was going to go over there and give her some words of encouragement,
a little pat on the back.
And we saw the clip of this.
We talked about it last week.
No.
It was quite the opposite.
It was just salt in the wound.
Yeah, you did fuck everything up and you should feel bad.
But the funniest thing, the clip from last week made it seem like Vicki was trying to be nice, but just fumbled.
Yeah.
I don't think she was.
I think she was genuine like, yeah, no, you suck.
And your marriage is, like, over and that's your fault.
It was all projection.
She still feels so upset about Don.
And we even saw that in the first or second episode of O.C.
Where she ran into him.
And she's like, I'm so sorry for divorcing you.
I'm just so upset with this whole thing.
Meanwhile, Michael's just over here.
Like, hey, I'm her boyfriend currently.
And she's very torn up about it.
So this was just her talking about herself.
but in a very vicky way
she doesn't really want to be that person
that's like hey Kyle it's going to be okay
you're going to be fine
it's like no I'm actually 12 years
divorced my own
and yeah it doesn't get any better
you're going to live with that
so it's not she just isn't giving words
of encouragement and it's so funny
because I do think
it's fun to watch Kyle in a different environment
much like it's fun to watch all of them
in a different environment
Kyle and Vicky interacting
is goofy to begin with
but Kyle on her
own show going through this.
Either someone's going to say something that's going to piss her off and she's going to
just pull herself away and we're never going to see it again.
Or it's going to be constant words of encouragement.
It's going to be constant words of, oh, you'll figure it out.
Everything's going to be okay.
So this interaction is goofy, funny, and weird.
And it gets to the point where Kyle can't do the same thing that she always does on Beverly
Hills.
She has to kind of stew in it.
She has to sit through that whole conversation, hear Vicky out.
And they go to her confessional cry even more and be like, oh, wow, did I really?
really fuck up. I don't really know. But we would never see that on Beverly Hills. Like,
that's the thing that ultimate girlship should be is getting people in a different environment
where we would never see that, much like Lisa talks about in a little bit. And that's what's
funny is you get a side of Kyle that we want so desperately on Beverly Hills. You know, we want
to see different reactions. We want to see different approaches to the same topic that we've
discussed for years now with no movement. And then this one scene, you get to see her not have
somebody pat her on the back. You get to see her really process like, oh, yeah, okay. So it may not get
better. And maybe I did make a huge mistake. And maybe we should get back together. Vicki's like,
yeah, exactly. I'm going to go over here now. Yeah. Don't do the same thing I did. I would get back
with Don right now, but I fucked it up. Yep, exactly. But we get in the sprinter band. And this was
just a funny interaction overall, because obviously sprinter vans are notorious.
for chaos and arguments.
And we're trying to bring one up with Vicky and Giselle,
because Jazele has heard that Vicki's not happy with the fact that she relayed
what Vicki had said about Tamara.
But Vicki refuses to look up from her laptop because she's always working.
I don't have time for this.
I don't have time for you.
I'm not getting into this whole thing.
It was a very funny back and forth, I thought,
because it kind of just, it paints a picture of what these.
These interactions are supposed to be from like a fundamental standpoint.
Like it's almost like breaking the fourth wall.
I mean, like, no, Vicky, this is how it works, especially on a sprint.
Yeah.
You need to give us your attention.
You need to clock in for work right now.
And I think that this is important.
I think it's important for the ladies to be like, yeah, we're here to do a job.
We're acknowledging that with the laptop down.
Let's get to work.
I think in the same way, too, it's also like kind of a little bit of reality check too.
Because Giselle's doing what Giselle always does.
inserting herself somewhere where she just simply doesn't belong.
She doesn't understand the whole history of Tamara, Shannon, Vicky, all three of them going
back and forth and doing whatever.
So when Vicki eventually does look up, she's like, look, this has nothing to do with you.
What do you have to do with any of this?
That's funny to see too, because no one ever does that to Giselle.
They're always trying to explain it away and get out of it.
And then Giselle has a smirk on her face the whole time because she knows that she did a good job.
She doesn't get this type of interaction from other people, but Vicki's not wrong.
and then it's funny because it's kind of like a dual thing.
We go back to the show and it's like, well, no, this is actually what you guys are supposed to be doing.
Giselle understands that.
She always understands that.
But at the same time, I don't blame Vicky for looking up and be like, shut up.
This has nothing to do with you, but yourself out of here.
Let's talk about something else.
And as soon as we go through it, and everybody's just kind of ragged on Vicky.
I love when she gets that short fuse at the end and we're all sitting down with a sleepover.
And she's just like, can everybody just fucking leave me alone?
I don't want to do this anymore.
This is annoying, but this is kind of where we're going with the whole thing.
Once that opens up and Vicki's finally engaged and we're talking about it, it's like, well, you were kind of rude here.
You were doing this with Tamara.
By the way, Teresa, you were rude to me yesterday on the yacht where you're looking at the cardboard cutouts.
You're saying that I changed the most.
I had to sit with it.
I had to sit on it because I didn't want to react.
I didn't want to do anything too bad, but I had to think about it.
And I felt like it was insulting.
Oh, it wasn't insulting.
I'm just telling you that you look great.
You look so much better than you did.
You look incredible now.
You're so pretty.
Oh, okay.
All right.
Well,
now that you're saying that I'm really pretty,
that's totally fine by me.
I just needed to get that off my chest.
It's like,
okay, cool.
That was a very quick resolution.
It was.
And it was also very Teresa coded just to see her,
first of all,
come out of left field,
be like, wait,
you were mean to me too,
my turn.
Yeah.
And then for her to talk about,
like,
I had to sit in it.
We get that funny clip of her literally
kind of processing this and being like,
oh, wait a minute.
I don't like that.
But it also showed a big Giselleism, if you will, because then she's like, all right, well, that didn't work.
Let me try some.
Oh, what about the overrated comment?
I'll try that one.
See if that does something.
I mean, nothing really lands.
But again, nothing comes up it.
Let's just go ahead and take a quick little ad break right here, and we'll get right back to Ultimate Girl's Trip.

cast continues to do this because it's going to shed light on some of the issues that we're having
with a lot of the franchises, LB starts crying in her confessional because she's like, it's just
so nice to have people having fun and blah, blah, blah, blah.
But when she says, you know, in my group, in my cast, when we feel like we're about to have
fun or we're about to laugh, something goes wrong, some shit pops off, and it just spirals usually
at my expense.
Very true.
LB tends to be the target, especially when things.
things are going well and we need to start some bullshit for no reason.
It's what can we pick on LB about?
So it was it was just nice to have a fourth wall break there where it's like acknowledging
something that frustrates us at home where it's like,
can we ever just have a good fucking time?
Like it's always so serious.
So I like that she actually called it out.
It's serious and it immediately gets toxic and it's just like all very strategic and
moving through and trying to land a storyline and get away with something.
I mean, that's sort of what the downfall of Salt Lake City has been like when we're watching it.
And like last season, you see a lot of it.
Obviously, the last two seasons, like last season was good.
Season prior was awesome.
The season before that was incredible.
But they are doing that.
They are going after Lisa.
So one, it's very nice to see Lisa in an environment where she's not the one getting picked on.
She's not picking on anybody.
She's just able to kind of sit back and be part of the group.
And I think she's enjoying it.
And that's what I want to say.
I want everybody to kind of get their turn to do all of that.
Like, all right, it's not my turn.
You're doing this.
Like it should be a well-balanced thing where somebody fucks up or somebody just steps in it and says something stupid, then you have to be held accountable.
That's how it should be.
But it never really is like that on their respective shows, whether it's Porsche in Atlanta, Lisa in Salt Lake City, Vicki now in OC.
It's like everybody always has their turn, but the turn never changes.
It never goes to somebody else.
And that's the big problem that we run into.
But also, yeah, they should be able to have fun and they should be able to just resolve things quickly.
Like, yeah, it was a one-off comment.
Vicki's been known to make plenty of one-off comments that land terribly.
She has to answer for it.
She answers for it in some capacity.
And then we move forward.
That's how it should be.
And we should be able to get from here to a nice fun scene where we just talk about whatever.
Inevitably something's going to come up, but we need to have the fun first.
That's what we always say.
And that's where these shows have gone in the wrong direction where it's like, all right,
Whitney, you've got your turn.
You dug up some things on Lisa.
Let's talk about that next episode.
There's always somebody behind the curtain.
And then usually it's like Heather Gay in person, whatever it might be.
That's what it's turned into.
And that's what we don't want anymore.
So I think that kind of feeds directly into what you were saying before.
Maybe this is something that they can kind of all take back.
Like, all right, we had a great time.
That was a really good show.
There was a good amount of drama that kind of hooked people in.
But also they had a lot of fun and they want to watch us have fun and do things that they're not doing.
Let's do some of that.
Maybe it's even a wake-up call for the producers.
I hope so because I can.
like we've gotten to a point where they think they have to manufacture drama 24-7 to be
captivating to make a good product. But as this episode showed you, and as most of the shows
show you at some point, something will come up with the group of women that are on this screen,
regardless of what city were in. Like something will organically pop up. And I don't mind if we're,
you know, trying to pinpoint things or maybe bring something to somebody's attention sooner and
it's not totally organic, but it's good for the plot, all of that stuff.
I know I've said this multiple times and I will quit beating a dead horse.
It's just I hope that this is a jumping off point to just get back to fun, make housewives.
Yeah, I agree.
But we get to a pajama party.
We get a lot of clips of some great moments in Beverly Hills history.
You know, you got Ken with a goodbye, Kyle.
I really wish.
I know it's a different show,
but since it was Ken,
if we could have just started in there,
I can't believe Sandoval was in the hot tub.
Yeah,
it does seem Beverly Hills Dentric just because it was LVP,
but yeah,
and that kind of goes to what we were saying last week.
Like,
LVP would be a great person to have on this show right now.
I want,
couldn't you sneak her in at the end?
I know she doesn't want to be part of the Beverly Hills cast.
But like at the party in the Amphins or whatever,
is that where they're going?
No,
they're going to Bluestone Matter.
It's no matter.
It's no matter. Sorry.
Yeah, I mean, that would be great if they could do that.
Because I imagine that she's still friends with some people.
She's just not friends with anybody on the Beverly Hills cast anymore, like at all.
No, but at the pajama party, you got a quick check in with Luann and her boyfriend,
who is a German gentleman named Michael and they both travel a lot.
Horty.
Horty.
It works for them both.
Very horny.
Yeah, dude.
Like, it was kind of uncomfortable.
He's pretty much like it.
Okay, cute outfit, but
don't really care about it. Just move the feathers.
Nice. Yeah, are you wearing underwear?
Let me see.
It was all just so we could get
the payoff of panning the camera around
to the many dude
cameraman that were in there.
And the one guy just giving a thumbs up.
The payoff was funny, but I feel like
we could have edited it a little bit out.
Like maybe don't let us go through about two to three
minutes of just hearing this guy talk about
seeing her naked. Then we see the
I ever met him, but he got to laugh.
Come on, Lou.
Come on.
Yeah, I agree.
Show me them nipples.
Pretty much.
Yeah.
No, that is what he said.
He said, show me them nipples.
Oh, God.
I thought he said something else.
I didn't know.
He said, show me them nips.
Easy, Michael.
But, yeah.
Good Lord.
Well, anyway, when everyone gets together,
we do have some funny moments.
I mean, Vicky losing her mind over,
Luanne taking a bite of something and putting it on her plate.
Where do you fall on this?
I see no issues here.
Like a nibble and a put down on a close plate of somebody in your group,
to me does not seem like a big deal.
No, it doesn't seem like a big deal to me.
Also, it didn't look like Vicki was even using that plate.
It was just her plate at the time.
You could have been like, hey, that's my plate.
I haven't put anything on it yet, but I'll get a new plate or get me a new plate
if you have a big deal with it.
But that's Vicky.
I mean, she's gonna freak out
because there's a half-eaten kebab just sitting on her plate.
She doesn't know whose it is.
It's Luans.
And then this just sparks the huge issue.
Like, spit it on her plate.
Like, it's got to make you throw up.
That's what I thought it was.
I thought it was one of those situations at first.
Like, ah, there was a rivet of fat in there.
And I just say, I didn't want to eat it.
I just took it out of my mouth and threw it on your plate.
My bad.
I don't know what the big deal is.
I'm not going to touch it anymore.
What do you want me to do, Vicki?
No, it was just she took a nibble on the side and put it down.
Not the end of the world.
but again, it's Vicky.
Yeah, but one thing does happen.
And I guess this is how I'm watching this show now.
It was just like, okay, what can they take away from this
and apply to their own shows?
One of the things we've talked about with OC
was the Carmella vibrator Dior clutch that whole debacle.
And the fact that apparently it was just ludicrous
and so obscene that she purchased vibrators for somebody else.
When on other shows, we've seen Dildo parties,
We've seen all kinds of wacky shit pretty much that it's not that serious.
And in this moment, you have Luanne being like, Vick, you need some dick.
She needs to get some penis.
Okay.
Jazele is co-signing that.
But it's showing that like camaraderie when you get the girls together and they're just kind of goofing off and they're saying some wacky shit and they're talking about sex a little bit.
But not to make people uncomfortable.
It's just like a topic that they're discussing.
And it's funny a lot of the time.
Yeah.
That means to go to OC
Because it's a bunch of prudes that are like,
oh my God,
how dare you?
A vibrator.
It should be.
I don't even necessarily think that,
I think the prude thing is what bothers me the most.
Like the clutching of the pearls.
Like I can't believe you're bringing that up right now.
It's more just at least have a different discussion about it.
Like I'd be okay if they have that conversation.
And the issue is you need to have some fucking boundaries.
You don't just get another person,
the sex toy.
like have an actual issue don't say oh my god like a vibe my kids saw that vibrator i can't believe that
those are the things that get really annoying it's like you can have a qualm you can have an issue
if somebody gets you something they don't know you it's like hey i don't even fucking know you why'd
you get me a vibrator like kind of weird have a discussion about it and move forward but instead
it's the clutching of the pearls that i just can't really understand because it go back to luam
being on roney like it was lewd it was all over the place like that's how it was so it's okay
but if you have this interaction of like people from a different era who are doing things how
they used to do it, then you can have an issue.
You can have a different issue that we haven't talked about before.
But yeah, the clutching of the pearls is where I draw the line.
I agree.
So hopefully that's something they can take away from this.
But you get kind of a pile on on Vicky, but not in a, not in a mean way.
It was just kind of funny.
It was kind of like poke, poke, poke.
And the end result is her kind of coming out of her shell a little bit.
So it worked out.
And I really enjoyed this scene.
I thought it was funny.
We get the sexy dances and a whiff and that whole thing.
And my biggest takeaway from this was Kyle is having fun, like actually having fun and being engaged in the scene and talking and joking.
And I was like, oh, my God, because we saw clips of some of the big moments in Beverly Hills history.
there was a point where she was a good housewife.
Let's not forget.
She was my favorite housewife for a while.
So it was nice to see that,
just to see a glimpse of like,
all right, yeah,
remember when he used to be really good at this?
Can we ever get back to that place?
I don't know, but to see a glimpse of Kyle
and not just the splits,
because that's usually her default.
Now it's like, I am fun.
Watch me hit this split.
Yeah.
But this time she did the splits.
I'm like, you know what?
That didn't annoy me because you brought her to the scene.
Yeah.
Yeah.
it absolutely hits. I mean, in this episode alone, she was able to have a very weird interaction with Vicki after crying about her and Mo's 30th anniversary. And now she's having fun at night. Like, she's doing more. And I don't really understand why because it's not like she's in Elisa Barlow situation where every season people are just going after Kyle. Maybe she sees it that way. She thinks because she's the head of Beverly Hills that everybody's got it out for her and she has to talk about things that she doesn't want to talk about. But this is very low stakes. Like the ultimate girl's trip with everybody.
out here. It's an all-star game. You don't really have to worry about it too much. You're just
kind of reliving moments and having a good time, put parties together. So it is very low stakes.
So maybe it's just that. But I think it's also just getting them out of their groups, whether they
feel like Lisa Barlow or Kyle feels like Lisa Barlow feels or anything else. It's like, hey, I know
you guys aren't here to go after me. This isn't just a show where you're just going to turn and go
after me and start to bring up things for the press or do anything else. Like I don't have a target
on my back and I don't have to look behind my back to make sure you're not coming after me.
I get to actually just let my walls down and have fun.
So there's some weird concoction going on here with the recipe that they put together that makes
sense.
It allows them to actually just kind of let loose and have a good time, which again, this
is awesome to watch because you can tell for some of these women, it's still in there.
Like obviously some of them are still at the top of their game and they're still crushing it
like Porsche, but you can still see like, all right, you're able to have fun.
You're not always doing that thing where you're victim blaming or looking at me and saying,
oh, I know you're coming after me because of what I said.
None of that shit's happening.
None of the shit that really bothered us in a lot of the houseway franchises is happening right now
because they're just kind of living in the moment.
They're just enjoying themselves and having a good time, which is how it should be.
Yeah, it's delightful.
It really is.
But Sutton is hosting a party for all of the ladies.
And it's an ugly leather pants party.
Mm-hmm.
the callback to Crystal and actually bringing her onto the screen up that was really funny
the callback to the leather pants i'll never forget uh that was crystal's first season right
and in that moment i think the funniest thing to me was always that when sutton says the leather
pants comment the reactions from the group always crack you whoa oh oh no far but i thought
I'm actually, I'm, I'm really surprised.
Now that I understand that we're still going to be in Beverly Hills next episode,
I thought this was the one Beverly Hills episode.
I'm like, they got Sutton and Crystal.
That's kind of lame.
What are we doing here?
Now seeing who's coming out for Beverly Hills next week, way more excited.
This makes more sense, but I'm still a little surprised that they brought Crystal back for this.
Like, yeah, she was there for three seasons.
But her with Sutton, like it's good to see that they're on good terms and it seems like
they're friends.
That's all well and good.
At Sutton's house is also.
kind of fun. And look, this was what I was talking about. Like, it's sort of bookended. These episodes
start off with something a little goofy and then a lot of nostalgia. Then you get into something
where they're all hanging out and they're all kind of forced to be together. Something comes up.
They all talk about it and have a good time or don't have a good time. And then the end of it is more
nostalgia. Like, all right, here's all the best moments of Beverly Hills. We're going to have a
catch or let the mouse go or whatever kind of game. I forget what the game was called. I think it was
Let the Mouse go. We're going to have a Let the Mouse go game where we're just going to
reference a ton of iconic things from Beverly Hills.
You guys have to go on a scavenger hunt, have a good time.
Like, it's, it's just, it's low, I don't want to say it's low entertainment, but it's just
like low need to like really pay attention to the episode except for certain parts.
Because at the end, you're like, oh, yeah, I remember that.
That's cool.
That's a good time.
Then we show a flashback.
So that's the majority of the episodes, which is how they're supposed to be.
I don't think next week is really going to be like that.
I think next week is going to be like, holy shit, can you believe that Adrian Maloof came back or
whatever it might be.
that's the type of thing that I'm expecting for next week.
So I think we'll probably run the same formula when we get to Atlanta.
Maybe Nini will come out.
We'll go to Nini's house, maybe have a lot of the old Atlanta things.
And then the second one will be a big party where all the Atlanta people come out.
I wonder if this is like the West Coast version of Bluestone Manor.
Like you get the West Coast and West Coast franchise housewives all coming to this white party.
And then you get more of the East Coast housewives going to Bluestone Manor.
yeah i probably it does look from the preview that everybody's at bluestone matter like they just
throw all 82 of them there i'm more obviously i'm way more interested in miami because we have
two episodes in miami and it's just gonna show us like hey this is a really great franchise
there's no reason for it to be off tv right now don't really understand it and we're going to
be able to see all of them and have a great time so i don't really know what's happening there but
yeah it does kind of seem like that or at least it just just
seems like a good way because they're starting off with OC and Beverly Hills, you know,
and then going to Atlanta.
So those are your top three anyway.
New York is so defunct that one episode in New York is enough because I think they're only
bringing in.
I think Alex McCord.
I think Alex McCord's going to be there.
And then it's like Cy and Aaron and Jessel are going to be there.
And that's pretty much it for New York.
And then we'll go to Bluestone matter.
So that'll be interesting to say I'm just so looking forward to Miami.
Atlanta's going to be fun.
I'm still looking forward to Miami.
I am too, especially because it might be the,
The only Miami we get this season is these two episodes.
Yeah.
I will never understand.
I'll never understand why it's paused.
I will never understand why people don't watch that show.
It is one of the best franchises consistently.
So we will lobby for Miami until it gets back on our screens.
But yeah, let's get to some questions.
First one up here from Liv Bender.
If you could choose any woman on the Salt Lake City cast to have a BFF arc with Lisa
Barlow, who would you pick?
It seems like her and Meredith are in good spirits.
So that was my pick probably two seasons ago, then coming back together.
Oh, Angie Kay, probably.
Angie Kay and Lisa Barlow being BFFs again would probably help the show, I think.
But I don't know exactly what that's going to look like with Angie and Sean being separated.
Oh, that's right.
That might leave the door open for that friendship, honestly, because she's,
She might be leaning on Lisa.
I would imagine if she's actually going through something
and you look at who she was actually close with on this cast,
she was close to Lisa.
So if she wants somebody to lean on,
she might very well gravitate towards her.
Yeah.
That's a good point.
From Ashley A. 95,
seeing Porsche and Kyle as the friendship duo,
no one knew we needed.
Yeah,
I think Porsche's got a very great ability to get people out of their shell.
So I think that's obviously working with Kyle
And that's what we want to see from Kyle
Because if we saw more of the same
From what we've seen in Beverly Hills seasons
It would just be brutal to get to Kyle
It's like all right, let's go back and have some fun with everybody else
I don't really need any more Kyle
Exactly
Let's see
A lot of people that are fed up with Vicky in here
I know I know I know it's wine o'clock somewhere
Get Debbie Downer off of our screens
77 Carabare 44
Why is Vicki so goddamn mean
she has an issue
confrontation but always start shit
she has an issue with confrontation but always start shit
it's so exhausting
god
uh man uh from kate catley p 86
teresa thinking horizontal meaning sixty-nin
did anybody just crack up at this yes
it is funny to watch teresa try to wrap her head around that one
but it's also nice to see teresa not defensive
you know it's nice to see i'm feeling like she has to go up
against half the cast
more of the cast and she can just kind of be.
We haven't seen that, Teresa, in years.
Years.
Yeah.
So that's been actually really nice.
From Marissa and Palma, would a Miami housewife have made things more exciting?
Yeah, but in terms of, oh, gee, you'd probably have to put Adriana there.
I don't think she would improve the show.
No, I'd be okay with Adriana.
replacing someone or maybe even just kind of being there.
Yeah, because I think she's the only OG.
I mean, Marisol is technically an OG, but I think Adriana is the only OG left.
I would, I mean, if you could put Kiki on this cast, that's a home run.
Yeah, Kiki would have a good time.
Yep, Valhandra Deeks.
Vicki sucks.
Get her off.
There's a lot of these, yeah.
Yeah.
McMadwald, Vicky being the rep for OC makes me realize I'll never watch O.C.,
because yeah
a lot of people
like Mickey
God
Zoe Como Poli
I'll never forgive
Vicky for making me
like Teresa in comparison to her
that's funny
that's really funny
uh god
anti Vicky jokes
or you know
they're great
but I need other

are you tired of seeing

That would have been funny
That would have been really cool
She would she would never
But that would have been very funny
No
All right any more non-vicky comments in here
Geez guys
I like this one from Gold Gina
Does Lisa need a better cast around her
Yes
Absolutely
I get rid of Vicky
I got Vicky on the minds
get rid of Whitney, get rid of Heather.
I'm okay with Angie
Bronwyn being there.
Don't bring back Jen Shaw, but there's got to be other people
that you can kind of put in there. Meredith can stay.
I think that honestly, I think Whitney and Heather have to go.
I'm so tired of them.
Heather, depending on how this season goes,
I could suffer through Heather.
Whitney,
I mean, when you talk about derailing a scene just to cause some shit,
that's her MO.
Like we've lost a lot of probably really fun moments
because Whitney has an epiphany
and then has to walk us down and explain it
in some convoluted way that makes no sense except to her
derails the scene.
Somebody gets pissed off and we don't have fun.
Yeah.
From Maria Boglis,
one, two, three, Lisa was fun and vulnerable.
Teresa didn't hold a grudge.
What the fuck is going on?
Yeah.
It's just a little magic.
There's a little magic happening.
That's what's going on.
And we'll end on this one.
This is a good one from Audrey V.
Who has pleasantly surprised you outside of their franchise?
For me, it's been Lisa Barlow.
We haven't really gotten a whole.
Yeah, Teresa so far, but she really hasn't been like involved a whole lot.
I think Teresa's my answer too, because I do think it's going to be more of the same as we move forward with all of these episodes.
I think she's going to be pleasant to watch.
Yeah, I do too.
I think they all will.
I think that's what our biggest takeaway from this show is.
And what we all hope is that it's just an enjoyable, entertaining, light watch that gives us a kick of nostalgia, you know?
And so far it's doing just that.
But we will see where it goes.
It looks like we might actually get some decent drama from this as well, which is, you know, who knows.
But time will tell.
But that's all I got.
You got anything else?
Nope.
All good here.
That's our show.
Brow Bros are out of here.
For eight years, we've been asking the same question over and over again.
How did this happen?
My name's Mandy.

We cover everything from infamous cases like Casey Anthony to the bizarre and complex crimes right here.
in our home state, like the shocking murder of FSU professor Dan Markell.
We bring you the facts, but with warmth and width, you'd only get from two friends who have
been hooked on mysteries since childhood. Join us for new episodes of Moms and Mysteries every

Heading to work, heading home, going to the bar. It's a life just like anyone else's. And I have grown
used to it, to the darkness, to the moon, to the taste of blood on my tongue. But vampires are
dying out. We are a fading kind, and I am the first one created in so long, and that is a dangerous
thing to be. Those who came before me, elders of all stripes, they do not want to see our
kind gone, and they will do anything to keep their power. And for myself, and for grace who created me,
that is a sword that hangs above our heads. And the worst person of all carries our secret,
he will use it however he sees fit.
Who do you look to when things are at their darkest?
