Bros & Shows - Water-Sliding Right Into More Cheating Evidence (RHORI Full Recap)

Episode Date: May 13, 2026

What's up bros? Things seem to be going pretty smoothly in our smallest state with the biggest water-slide we've ever seen. While that sounds fun (once or twice) we get to learn more about Jo-Ellen's ...past and Alicia's hold up on commitment. We realize Ashley's crying is going to be a roller coaster for us all season but we're really going to have to see Rosie stand on her own two feet if she's going to survive this one. We're set up for a massive drop of evidence right into Rula's lap but we all know that's not going to amount to a thing. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices

Starting point is 00:00:00 There's part of me that's like apprehensive when I go to watch this show because it's so good that I'm waiting for the other shoe to drop. It has not dropped yet, nor do I want it to ever drop. But this show is just incredible. How do you operate in that mind frame? I have no idea. I don't think I've ever done that. No? It's called anxiety, I believe.
Starting point is 00:00:24 I mean, I get anxiety about real things, but shows, no. I think honestly, I think that. There has not been one instance of any pause for concern with this show that it's just, it's unimaginable at this point. As there's a drive in a deep left field by Castellanos. Oh man, it's 8 o'clock. And so that'll make it a. I don't need the spotlight.
Starting point is 00:00:52 I shine just fine. Hi, I'm Karma. And yes, I am a bitch. Bravo Bros. Good evening, everybody. Welcome back to another episode of Bravo Bros. your favorite podcast from the bros for everybody for whoever wants to listen i am your co-host steel russle joined as always by the one and only shoot a maguda what's up dude back to rhode island we go we always know
Starting point is 00:01:18 we know where the bodies are buried up there um what a show just what what a delight of a show these these people these women they're incredible there's not there's not really not a whole lot that you can say about them other than they're incredible. I mean, in every little way, it's almost like they have this like perfect puzzle put together. And each of these women is a different piece of that puzzle that fits together so perfectly. And the centerpiece is not there because she's at home getting full glam while she's sick. That's what I want to see.
Starting point is 00:01:52 I'm starting to, I don't know if Rula has what it takes. That's where I'm at currently. because do I think that she would be incredible? I really do. I really think she'd be phenomenal. I don't think that she can get to that place because she's too protective of her marriage and she doesn't want to go full throttle. And knowing that she is still with that guy today does not give me a whole lot of hope for her on this show.
Starting point is 00:02:22 Yeah. You know what? It is kind of funny though because like, yeah, there are a lot of conflicts. There's little things. like we'll talk about Rosie and Kelsey in this episode. Liz and Dino seem to be blowing over very quickly. We don't really even talk about that anymore, which we're very happy about. But the major, like the major conflict involves a woman who has been on this show less than half of the episodes.
Starting point is 00:02:49 Yeah, that's incredible to me. I mean, every episode that we got, like, I'm not counting this as an appearance on the show. I mean, again, incredibly funny that she's calling in being like, I was sick. I had to go to the hospital. I had all these things going on. Full glam. Like, you got the cameras here?
Starting point is 00:03:02 Full glam. Absolutely. And like, that's the mentality that I want. But she's not there. She is not present in any of these episodes. And yet the big, dun dun,
Starting point is 00:03:12 is all about her and Brian. And it's very funny to me because it's like, all right, like, I do think, like, I want to put myself in that kind of situation where I'm like, all right,
Starting point is 00:03:22 if Rula was sitting there and we had the camera on Joe Allen outside of the balcony, very beautiful out there. great view, gorgeous view of the castle, gets this bomb, goes back in, brings it right to rule it, everything blows up. I might like that less than her not being there.
Starting point is 00:03:39 Like I really do. I think that I kind of like it where she's getting these bombs, Joellen is picking up on all these pieces and bringing up all this evidence. I don't want ruler to be there all the time. I want the rest of the women to be like, oh, shit, oh boy, what are you going to do? I'm not dealing with that.
Starting point is 00:03:54 I don't want to deal with it. You go deal with that. I want some of that, but I also obviously want some mixed in where you just bring it right to rule of like all right we have to talk about this right now like I want to fresh no I yeah I see where you're coming from I'm somewhat on the same page I just I would prefer the blow up at the castle like hey rule look and rule is there yeah but it also raises questions with joella because I'm like why are you so invested in this like why do you keep digging into this what are you trying to
Starting point is 00:04:25 prove. I mean, I know what she's trying to prove. But like, we know what she's trying to prove. Yeah. But like you kind of see that clip too where Rula at the polo grounds is like,
Starting point is 00:04:34 I appreciate your research. I appreciate the evidence that you get like your intel. And it's like, okay. I appreciate that. But does Rula really appreciate it? Like are we not seeing something? Are we are,
Starting point is 00:04:46 are they a lot closer than we thought? Were they a lot closer than we thought? That's actually that they used to be closer. Does still. And she's kind of teetering. like it's a balancing act of I want to defend my husband. I don't want any of this to be true. I'm just going to kind of turn a blind eye to it.
Starting point is 00:05:01 But at the same time, my good friend from a year or two ago, Joe Ellen, seems to know some stuff. So I do want to find out, but I don't want to find out. And I think that might be the flip-flop that we're getting. And that's in real time where rule is like, shit, all right, this stuff's going to come out. Like, I wouldn't be surprised if she already knew what Joe Allen was going to get. And that's why she didn't go up to the castle this weekend. Maybe.
Starting point is 00:05:21 That actually makes a lot of sense. I thought that they used to be close. And then they had a falling out or something happened. Brian called her HR and then tried to get her fire. There you go. Like I think he was cheating. Exactly. He is cheating.
Starting point is 00:05:37 Plural. Present tense. He is cheating. But yeah, I don't know. I do wish she was there, you know, bottom line.
Starting point is 00:05:45 I just wanted to get more involved mainly because I'm with you. I think that she would be a fucking star. I think she'd be great. The fact that she got her. full glam for the scene in bed shows you that she's up to stuff. And in the moments that she's on the show and contributing, I'm like, you're great. You could do something with this cast.
Starting point is 00:06:04 I don't think that she's going to be able to because she's going to continue to try to protect Brian, which sucks because fuck Brian. Yeah. And we want more a ruler. Yeah. That's a good point. Are we still in the cold intro? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:06:19 Yeah, we sure are. Well, let's get to the morning. it's after obviously Kelsey and Rosie had to lose to that. We didn't even introduce ourselves. Oh, yeah, you did. Oh, my God. I lost my brain.
Starting point is 00:06:30 I'm keeping all that in there. I need everybody yet know where we are, second episode of the day. Yeah, that's this what happens. But Rosie's FaceTime and her man, Joelle's FaceTime and her man. We're just talking about what happened last night. Apparently Rosie's been throwing up all night.
Starting point is 00:06:45 And then I was like, because of this? Like, are you one of those people that you have like physical reactions to drop? that's what it looks like. Doesn't bode well for a show like this, huh? No, no, that could that could lead to a little bit. Yeah, that's not great. So hopefully that, you know, it's just nerves that will slowly.
Starting point is 00:07:05 Or she's like totally just lying. I mean, that's a possibility. She could just be sick and then she's blaming. Yeah, I'm sick. So I'm just going to blame Kelsey. You may be this way. Yeah, I don't know. But the one thing we do get is Kelsey once again was talking.
Starting point is 00:07:22 And we get like a little clip. She's like, I saw a PDF of the plan. Of the house, we're still talking about the square footage of the house. Uh-huh. I, it has gone from,
Starting point is 00:07:32 this is funny to, oh my God, I don't care about the square footage. It's, it's funny again to me. Yeah. Because, yeah,
Starting point is 00:07:39 because we're discussing blue, what did they say, blue pages? I think blue pages. Yeah. We're discussing blue pages, but my, the funniest part to me is not even that.
Starting point is 00:07:49 The funniest part to me is that she, thinks that other people care about this whole thing. Well, that's why I love like, like Richie is face-timing with, uh, with Rosie. And he's like, I mean, you know why she's doing it. Like everything that she's pointing out about you is what she doesn't have. She's pointing out that you got quote unquote fired from your job. She's never had a job. She's pointing out about the square footage of the house.
Starting point is 00:08:14 He doesn't even dispute the square footage. That's how stupid it is, I guess in his brain. It's like, she doesn't even have a house. Like, what are we doing here? Yeah. And that's, that's the hard part with Kelsey's battle is like, it's so easily swatted away. It's like none of this is landing. And I think the only reason there's any credence to any of it is because Rosie is awkward and anxious and doesn't know how to respond. So you get these like one ups on her because she just kind of like spirals when you go after her.
Starting point is 00:08:45 And she doesn't defend herself very well. That's the only reason that Kelsey's got the quote unquote upper hand on this whole thing. Yeah. But it is leading to a lot of delusion from Kelsey, which I am very much enjoying. And I think that does create the situation that you just talked about where Kelsey does think that other people want to know. She's like, ooh, the way Rosie's doing this. Like, she's definitely hiding something. You picked up on that, right?
Starting point is 00:09:05 What? I wasn't listening. Were you still talking about square footage? Yeah, I'm talking about square. I got the blue pages over here. Come check them out. Like, I'm not interested in this. What are you still doing here?
Starting point is 00:09:15 If she had the PDF saved to her phone, I wouldn't be surprised. No. But we get to breakfast. and everyone's there. Rosie lets everyone know that she was throwing up all night. And then we talk about giggling throughout the castle, which no thanks. Spooky story. I like a old spooky story. I do too. I don't like a spooky story when there's dolls involved. Don't eat the dolls. Don't make me tell the story about my basement in the children's drawings again.
Starting point is 00:09:41 But Alicia immediately asking if it was the dolls. Like, you've done this before. I know what you're doing. Is she doing that? and this is a valid question. Has she actually heard her dolls giggle in the past? I don't think Alicia is setting that up. I don't think she's like, I'm going to poke and prod.
Starting point is 00:10:01 I think she's like, oh, God, you heard the dolls too? Oh, boy. For what it's worth, I don't think Alicia's setting anything up. I don't think she ever sets anything up. I think this is just who she has.
Starting point is 00:10:10 She has absolutely heard those dolls giggle. She has giggled herself and then looked around the room like, was that a doll? Oh, my God, what's going on? She doesn't know what's going on anywhere. No, and that's why I love her so very much. much, but Ashley is dealing with some family problems, which I felt bad.
Starting point is 00:10:26 Her son Dawson's having a tough time breathing. I guess when he gets sick, his airway gets clogged up. So she's a little bit stressed out. Calls Mom. Mom's got it under control, but we'll see that obviously pop up later. It was good to see an involved parent. I'll tell you what. That was very refreshing.
Starting point is 00:10:42 I almost expected to go to a confessional. And Ashley's like, you know, I'm just really tentative to leave my kid with my mom because I've got all these problems with her. I'm like, oh, God, again, we're doing this. And I know we have the big scene, like, quickly after this with the two that do have problems with their parents. But her talking about it, I just expected, like, all right, we've got another dud of a parent, a grandparent in here.
Starting point is 00:11:04 No, actually, we've got great grandparents. We've got a mom who is very attentive, keeping up all night, making sure everything's good. We've got a dad who's a doctor. That's really fun, too. So he's going to be able to step in when you need to. That is probably the safest hands that you could possibly be. Yeah. Like you said, it's nice to hear like, oh, you're.
Starting point is 00:11:20 concerned and worried. Yeah, good grandparents. You're ready, you're ready to leave also, Ashley, you're like ready to go. Great.
Starting point is 00:11:26 Awesome. Everyone cares. That's relieving. But obviously we talk about the whole drama between Rosie and Kelsey. Kelsey is maintaining. I was being nice with what I said. Now that I've seen clips of it,
Starting point is 00:11:41 it's like there's no way that you can take that as a compliment. Like that was 100, that wasn't even a backhanded compliment. You were just being a dick. And for whatever reason, I've started to figure out, I think, that Rosie annoys a lot of these ladies. So that's why they don't defend her. That's why they were defending Kelsey at the dinner.
Starting point is 00:12:00 But I'm glad Ashley stuck up for her. It's just because Ashley cries pretty much on a dime. It's hard to, like, land anything because she starts crying on behalf of Rosie. The point she makes are good points. She's like, look, maybe if one of you stuck up for her or stopped giggling about her and like stop talking shit she would be more open because kelsey's saying i never know who you are you're always changing i was like what she's been the same person from the jump yeah i i don't really understand that but this like i don't want this to go on all season like i don't want rosy to get complacent
Starting point is 00:12:36 with ashley just having her back because i just don't want to see that even if actually cries every time which she might and it could be very funny i want rosy to stand up for herself like you're going to have to learn you're going to have to figure it out like you can't always have Ashley there And I think Rosie's going to be in the mix with a lot. Like you said, the rest of the women seem to be kind of annoyed by her. So either she figures that out and she becomes part of the group and she makes some good friends outside of Ashley or she has to stand up for herself. And right now, I don't think she can stand up for herself. But the clip that we get obviously for the midseason trailer and then we get it after this episode as well, it seems like push is going to come to shove between these two regardless.
Starting point is 00:13:11 I think she's going to get there. Obviously, we have video evidence of her at least attempting to. But I'm chalking it up to first season because we're having confessional warriors right now. Like she goes to confessional. She's like, you're a high end squad. I'm like, say that at the fucking table. That's a really good line. But that shows you it's in there.
Starting point is 00:13:32 Will it come out in person? We don't know. It does because that would push her a lot further along on the current power rankings. Because she's doing fine. I have no issues with Rosie. She's in the mix doing her thing. If she's able to defend her. herself in person and check some of these ladies,
Starting point is 00:13:50 she's going to climb steadily, I believe. So I'm hoping that happens. Now, with Liz, Liz and Alicia's relationship might be my favorite housewife relationship in the world. Because they, or Liz understands Alicia so well, but also is not afraid to like knock her down in the moment. But Alicia doesn't care.
Starting point is 00:14:15 Like you saw her say, like let me say this in layman's terms, pretty much calling her a dumbass and she's like great thanks then in this one she's talking she's just trying to help the story and liz is immediately irritated she's like let me finish okay let me finish she's like i am liz i am calm down and like the confessional where it's like alicia cracks me up she's funny but shut the fuck up i'm like this is great you guys are awesome you're perfect yeah those two together are absolutely perfect i mean the way that they play off of each other or play against each other whatever it might be it always seems to work out really well yeah but we're talking about
Starting point is 00:14:50 faces that we're making here and and what i'm getting from liz is she's trying to say to rosy like just put on a face like don't let it get to you like just pretend which i thought was the antithesis of what we were doing the night before yes taking the masks off but now you're telling her to put a mask back on and kelly or kelly you know kelsey is saying that she has another mask underneath of the mask that she had on before? Like, I'm very confused. What face do you want? I think Rosie's at the point where she's like,
Starting point is 00:15:24 hey, what face do you want me to wear? I'll wear whatever. Honestly. And Liz saying, you know, because Ashley's pointing to let's, let's have a little nurture, right? Let's, if she's not afraid to get yelled at every time she walks into the room,
Starting point is 00:15:38 maybe she'll open up a little bit. Liz's like, oh, fuck that. No, I don't like nurture. I like tough love. I like tough love, but it's got a, I believe someone I trust.
Starting point is 00:15:47 I was like, well, there's your, there it is. We need to develop trust in this group. I need you to give Rosie a chance to trust some of you or you trust her. We're not getting those chances really. And I don't know. I do believe it's the duo of Ashley and Rosie. I have no problem with them at all. But when you have two people that are kind of awkward, kind of anxious, Ashley's going to cry too much.
Starting point is 00:16:14 I don't think the group takes them seriously. We need to have a big moment from one of them where the group then looks at them and goes, oh, okay, we can take you seriously. We have to listen to what you're saying. We're not just going to bat you down every time you talk. Yeah, yeah, absolutely. Moving on, we get to Alicia Kelsey and Joe,
Starting point is 00:16:31 and they're talking about Rosie once again. And she's like, well, Rosie looks weak. And I meant that in a nice way. What? Everything you say can't be nice if it's always mean. That doesn't make any fucking sense. the one thing to come of this is the most important thing. Go talk to her.
Starting point is 00:16:48 You go figure this shit out. We are at that point with this drama. It's like, okay, sit them down. We need to be able to move on from this. So I'm glad that happens. It's hampering the trip. I mean, like, yes, it's fun to talk about. It's a good conversation piece from the night before.
Starting point is 00:17:03 And obviously it resulted in Rosie spiraling a little bit, maybe staying up all night, maybe fuking. But it's getting to the point where it's like, all right, all right, come on. Like, we've got other things going on. we've got a big slide the biggest slide you've ever seen in Rhode Island is coming over here tonight just figure it out like and go away actually the vibe that I got from all of them is like hey we're very disinterested in this please go away go go up to another room there's 15 rooms in this castle get up there and just hammer it out now Ashley you're going to hang nearby
Starting point is 00:17:35 because if you need to step in you're going to like I got the vibe I don't know if you got it where Ashley's like she's going to step in if it gets too weird like if Rosie's starts breaking down and she can't talk, Ashley's going to come in and be like, hey, Kelsey, you don't say that. And I don't want that. Like, let them figure it out. Well, not just them.
Starting point is 00:17:51 You got to let Rosie figure it out. We were talking about that earlier. Like, she needs to be able to do that. And this is a good moment for that. But just like, the way that Kelsey talks to her is interesting because she's like, I don't know you well enough to know how to talk to you. Well, there's a couple of answers, you know, get to know her better, perhaps. or like just talk to her normal.
Starting point is 00:18:15 What do you mean? You go into every conversation with people. Like, how do I talk to you? I don't know you. Like, what? Kelsey, come on. She doesn't have people skills. I mean,
Starting point is 00:18:23 she's just been held up in that big mansion with by herself with her boyfriend down of Miami for years. And she doesn't know how to talk to people. She's only ever talked to Liz. And I think some of like, and we do know like Liz and Kelsey are pretty close. I think some of Liz's personality is rubbed off on Kelsey. But Liz has earned that right to be that way.
Starting point is 00:18:40 She's earned that right to do the tough. love thing. Like, I'm just going to tell you exactly how I feel. And you're going to either learn to love me or realize, like, there's a deeper meeting somewhere in here. But this is how I'm going to be. And Kelsey's like, oh, I could do that too. Why can you do that? You haven't done anything. What do you mean? You haven't earned that type of respect. No, that's a really good way to put it, actually. But we get a split group because Rosie or sorry, Joe Ellen and Alicia are going on a little stroll together and the other ladies are going to the big slide on the way we do get a lot of paranormal talk which i always love and i guess that building
Starting point is 00:19:15 was a dorm or a college or something that's what i got from the the weird limo bus driver type of guy he was saying that he stayed on the third floor uh heard some shenanigans afoot school yeah i was very confused uh what was going on or why that house was used for dorming or renting during college Is that a word? Fucking sick. Yeah, sure, why not? It's pretty fucking sweet though. I mean, imagine going to college, a URI or Providence or wherever the hell you were and you stayed in that beautiful mansion and just traveled to school every day and had parties there.
Starting point is 00:19:51 I wonder if they could even have. They probably couldn't have parties there. There's no way. I don't know. But I would stay with ghosts if it's something like that. Like, I would stay there knowing it's haunted. I'm cool with that. But on Joe and Alicia's walk, we really get to dive in to the school that we've heard about and the relationship with her mom. Now, I don't know what Jo Ellen was or was not doing back in the day. Okay, we don't know. These ladies know because they all grew up with each other.
Starting point is 00:20:22 So I'm curious if it's ever going to come out. I don't think that she needed to go to a rehab facility. If she's not doing drugs or drinking, that doesn't make a lot of sense to me. Her mom sounds like a fucking mom. monster. Yeah. Monster is the exact word that I was thinking while watching this scene. I mean, going to three different instances of going to either a rehab or some sort of behavioral in school for troubled kids. Ending at like over a year in a school full of troubled kids who had actually done a bunch of things. Like her mom's a fucking monster. And it's because and I believe
Starting point is 00:21:01 Joe Allen when Joe Ellen says like it's because I had boobs and I was hanging out with boys. like that was enough for her to be like nope we're out of here not just her her sister like her sister had to go through all of that too like her mom it sounds like a literal fucking monster sending her kids away and obviously alicia was there alicia went to school with her she understood she's like yeah you know we all we all talked about it but i don't think any of us knew to that extent what was going on so it sounds to me that not only was this going on but joel i wasn't talking about it she probably had to go through years and years of therapy to try to get back to some sort of like shelly of a human being after all of that. It's brutal. I would honestly, we don't know her that well, but I would say the fact that she's even remotely put together in any way she performed is is remarkable given that upbringing.
Starting point is 00:21:48 And it makes a lot of sense, honestly. Like, I just, I don't know. I think that the group knows more, I think. And I'm curious if this is going to be a talking point.
Starting point is 00:22:01 If we're going to see mom on camera, I would imagine that Joe Allen, is building up to this conversation she's going to have with mom. I'm very, very curious. We said that before that she was building, but I didn't know what was this. Like, this is so much more. I don't know what I thought this. It's so,
Starting point is 00:22:17 she gave partial custody to the state. And then the state was like, hey, we're going to take full custody. She's been here for a while. And she's like, all right. Come on home.
Starting point is 00:22:26 Yeah. Like, what the fuck? I have no idea, man. And Alicia's got her own shit. Because her dad just bounced and left them, quote,
Starting point is 00:22:35 quote homeless according to her. So now she's got issues with with dudes and trusting people and abandonment issues. But it does bring me to a question because she alludes to this being the reason that she hasn't gotten married yet. You know, they've been engaged for eight or nine years. I haven't pulled the trigger. I was under the impression that that was her husband's doing or her fiancee's doing.
Starting point is 00:22:58 Yeah. Not her doing. Now she's saying that she's the one that's holding it up. I don't know which one. believe because this could be a smoke screen like it could honestly be that it's bill and she's being somewhat smart but again it's alicia so i feel like she just tells us what she's thinking she might be coming to grips of it like it could be one of those situations where it started off as a long engagement that turned into well you know if we get married then all these things
Starting point is 00:23:23 start turning into like marital assets and maybe we don't get involved in that and that's bill's standpoint which is a little manipulative and maybe he's keeping her at bay but maybe it is alicia like i don't really know what to think i mean it seems like one of those things situations where much like, actually not much like Joelle's situation where there's more coming out. It's like, oh, shit, that's not something I was expecting. Alicia taking her side of things being like, yeah, you know, maybe that's why we never got married. Like, oh, okay. And maybe Bill's a little exonerated. We've been looking at Bill a lot differently these last couple episodes, but this one kind of sways me a little bit back towards middle ground. I'm curious if we're going to get more
Starting point is 00:24:00 about, I'm sure we will, obviously, but yeah, I don't know what to believe now. I mean, I do. I still think Billy is, you know, an asshole for not putting her name. It's the mother of your child. You can't put her on a house. That's fucking crazy. But everyone loves Billy. We know that.
Starting point is 00:24:15 Everybody loves Billy. Everybody loves Bill. This is when we get the text from Rula. She's sick. Can't make it. Got a lot of health issues. So let's go check in with them. Pain.
Starting point is 00:24:28 Pain all over my body from my toes to my head. Pain. Unbelievable scene. Like one. Brian, try harder. Like I've been doing the most. Like this was borderline nauseating to watch him try to navigate this scene and pour it on so fucking thick. My man, we know who you are.
Starting point is 00:24:50 We've seen it. It took one episode for us to clock your bitch ass. And we thought you weren't going to come back. Remember that? We talked about an episode one. There's no way this idiot's going to come back on screen and open himself up to the barrage. of shit that he's going to take. Lo and behold, he doesn't even know what tea to make his wife.
Starting point is 00:25:11 What tea does she like, kids? Fuck you, Brian. Like, you should at least fake. That's where I know. Right. And it seems like such a small thing. The other stuff is obviously him being an asshole tried to do too much. Where he's like, come on, kitties.
Starting point is 00:25:24 Come on. Let's go see your mom. I love you so much, you little rascals. But when you don't know which tea to give your mom or sorry, your wife, that is a question mark. for me. That's where I'm thinking. You don't know what the fuck's going on. I don't think you're ever home, Brian. I think you're out at the gym, quote unquote. Yeah, I will find out more about the gym at some point. And you're absolutely locked in. I mean, that's exactly who Brian is.
Starting point is 00:25:48 That's exactly what he's going to do. But I do feel like right now is probably the best time for us to take a little ad break. So we'll get right back to the red. Starting point is 00:30:14 Of Rhode Island's action. And I mean, that's the whole scene. So we can move on from Rula and Brian because Rula is apparently dying, even though, you know, she doesn't appear to be that sick. The fact that she named, I don't know, a hundred symptoms for a hundred different ailments. And then she's going to drop the, they ran all the tests and they found nothing. So it's one of those viruses you can't detect. Yeah, I love that she said that, though, because it's like, that same situation could be incredibly scary.
Starting point is 00:30:48 You are just going through it. You don't know what's wrong with you. You go through all these tests. They don't have any answers. Like, that should be scary. That should be like, oh, fuck. Like, do I have something else? Like, let me go get this done.
Starting point is 00:30:59 Let me go get this done. Like the unknowingly having this and just being like, what are I supposed to do? Should be scary. It should not be. It's one of those viruses. They just can't. They just can't detect it. There's nothing.
Starting point is 00:31:12 There's nothing they can tell me. So I just have to wait this one out. It's like, no. You had me. If you're just going through it, you're feeling sick. Just go through it and feel sick and just tell people you can't make it. You don't have to do all that. No, it's that, you know, undisclosed virus.
Starting point is 00:31:26 They can't tell. I don't know. I don't know. But we get to the activities. We get a big ass slide, which I agreed with Liz. Like, we're at this beautiful Newport mansion. And we have a giant inflated. slide in the backyard like did bravo run out of activities in the area because that what happened
Starting point is 00:31:45 i guess i like i don't get it it looked fun to go down twice three times max i don't want to walk all the way up there again no and it's not like it goes down into a big pool that i can relax it it should the end should be filled with water they didn't fucking fill it with water so they just back or up onto the ground yeah i imagine that they probably just started filling it up and they're like, all right, you guys going to get out there. Like, the weather's starting to turn. Get out there right now. It's like, oh, God, there's no water at the end of this.
Starting point is 00:32:13 What am I supposed to do? But it's another thing like, like Liz was saying, I mean, everybody that stayed back, it's like, yeah, Ashley, happy, go lucky, very fun. Rosie, Kelsey, they're all in their 30s. What the, what the fuck is Liz going to do? She wants to climb up all those steps and go down once. Okay, I'm done. Like, I'm going inside the lay down. I don't even want to lay out here with you guys.
Starting point is 00:32:32 Like, this is boring. Let's get the butlers involved. Let's get the but let's get the butlers involved and pop off some shirts. Yeah, let's pop these shirts off flirt a little bit. We'll have some fun. What I will say, and I think this is just we're learning more about who Liz is. I was confused why she got like angry at the situation. She's like, what am I supposed to do?
Starting point is 00:32:54 It's like, well, I don't know. This is your trip, no? Like, fucking do something else. Did you not? I think you hit the nail on the head. I think Bravo was like, oh, we're going to send in a big water slide. And this is like, what the fuck? Like, why don't we just go grab wine somewhere?
Starting point is 00:33:08 I'm sure there's a beautiful winery that we can go to. Let's just do that again, run it back, sit down, have a couple glasses of wine and talk shit. Like, that's what we want to see. You don't always have to have an activity. Like,
Starting point is 00:33:18 this might just be Bravo's bag being a little too, too narrow there. Yeah. What's the opposite of deep, shallow? Yeah, it's a little too, just like the end of that water slide. Yeah, a little too shallow.
Starting point is 00:33:29 There we go. Come full circle. Love coming full circle. But it does lead to a conversation with Ashley. And this I like, because this is movement. We got Ashley and Liz, Liz, like these two could not be more opposite, honestly,
Starting point is 00:33:46 but you're seeing them start to form some kind of friendship here because with Liz's tough exterior, Ashley's finally starting to crack through by going in there, noticing that Liz was like perturbed by this thing and going in there and asking how she was, I think that went so far for Liz. I think she's like, oh, okay, maybe this is, one that I can bring into the fold a little bit.
Starting point is 00:34:09 I think Ashley's going to need that because as of right now, her only real attachment is Rosie. Yeah. And honestly, it kind of leaves Rosie out on a weird island, but maybe that brings Rosie into the fold as well. Maybe Ashley and Rosie are a packaged deal as much as I don't really like those in Housewife shows.
Starting point is 00:34:24 That might work to at least bring people closer together. But this is a good slow bird for Liz. I mean, she told us she's got that hard exterior. She's very soft inside. You just have to break that exterior to get in. This is a good step for Ashley. This was a very good conversation. This could have easily been a, ah, you know what?
Starting point is 00:34:40 Like, this just isn't for me, like, go away. And Ashley's like, okay. But Liz called her back. Like, oh, you're not bothering me. Like, I actually like the company. Okay. That goes a long way with Ashley. I feel like Ashley going up there, she probably had to give herself a pep talk.
Starting point is 00:34:52 Like, all right. What am I going to do? How am I going to say this? Don't cry. Don't cry. Don't cry. Don't cry. Don't cry.
Starting point is 00:34:57 If she says anything remotely sad, I have to get the fuck out of there. I really do. I can't deal with this. Liz, you all right? Everything. Okay. Oh, you're being nice to me. All right.
Starting point is 00:35:09 I can feed off of this. But that's good. It was a nice scene, too, because it's not just, like, yes, we want Ashley to be in the fold. We want everybody to be in the fold. But also for Liz, Liz showing us and telling us however many times that she is soft inside, doing this, even though it wasn't that big of an emotional scene like we were seeing with Alicia and Joe Ellen on the other side, this was still at least a glimpse into, okay, you can be friendly.
Starting point is 00:35:31 You can let everybody back in. No, Liz has done a nice job of showing her different sides. And I don't think intentionally either. that's just who she is. Different faces. Different faces. Yeah. You know, if she's got to, what was it? If she's got to have a bitchy that she puts out a face. I think that's what Alicia called a bitchy. Yeah. But, but, but no, I love Liz. I think she's fantastic. I think she's so multifaceted. And when you do get to see the softer side, because I don't think we've seen the hard side yet. I think we're going to and I'm very much looking forward to that. But knowing that she's layered like this,
Starting point is 00:36:05 when she has those big moments, it's going to be even more. more interesting because of how she is now. So love Liz, love the character development we're getting. But let's go on a sunset cruise in Newport. And Ashley is still worried about Dawson. Unfortunately, she actually ends up bouncing because dad's
Starting point is 00:36:23 like you should take the hospital. But again, on a network where we see a lot of shitty parenting and a lot of shitty grandparenting, on this show in particular, you got Joe Ellen's mom who's like, yeah, I clocked in to take care of kids today. I did my duty or whatever the fuck.
Starting point is 00:36:39 To see this where dad's like, whoa, whoa, I'm stepping in, get to the hospital, Ashley's coming back. Good. It seems so very simple, right? Like, we shouldn't be rooting for this, but like we've seen such shitty parenting and stuff. We highlight so much shitty parenting that when something like this comes up,
Starting point is 00:36:56 we're almost excited to like jump on it. Like, good job. Good job, guys. Gold stars all around. Wow. Wow. This is the best parentage I've seen. Thank you for not creating more generational.
Starting point is 00:37:07 trauma. Nice job. But we're on the boat and I didn't need this. I didn't need it. It's not funny. It's not like a, oh, let's check in with these three when they hang out.
Starting point is 00:37:21 Because we go to Joellen and Jerry and Jen. And they're sitting there. And she makes a Gary joke. Not Jerry. He's Gary. Like, oh, I'm waiting for my own. Gary is sitting in between. tweeting these two with a giant boner because he loves that she feeds into this.
Starting point is 00:37:42 And I don't. I really hate it. It makes me wildly uncomfortable to watch these things. Yeah, yeah. It like softened the blow a little bit where Jen is just asking for a husband, like get me a husband. I don't care who it is. Just find somebody and Joel. It would be your husband.
Starting point is 00:38:01 Yeah. Yeah, I know. There's always that just kind of lurking in the background. But they need to move off of this. This is not this is I don't it makes me uncomfortable every time. I don't want it to be a thing in a couple seasons like just let's leave it a love. Jen can come and go. I know, but Jen can come and go as she pleases, but no more Gary jokes.
Starting point is 00:38:22 Yeah, I really don't need it. I don't need it. It is interesting that Ashley leaves and cries. And in this moment, the crying is warranted. I get it. Worry about your kid. But she now feels the need to apologize for cry. I'm sorry I'm crying.
Starting point is 00:38:37 I'm like, no, not this time. This is fine. You can apologize. This is a normal cry. But I love, I love, love, love how ingratiated this group is. Like, I love that they have such a long history, high school, growing up together, all these things because you get shit like this.
Starting point is 00:38:55 I think you had sex with my ex on a boat, Joe Ellen. And then tells the story about this boat, boink. Turns out it happened, but not on a boat. Joe was like, that was on land. Okay. And it was a threesome, apparently. But then how did Kelsey hear it? Because Kelsey says she heard it. Yeah, and then tells the story.
Starting point is 00:39:15 And then Joe doesn't completely- She said that she heard it from her ex, but she was there. She heard it from somebody else who was above them on the boat and said that Joe Allen was very loud. Now, we're going to find out that they're both probably right. It was probably on a boat, but it was probably a docked boat or a pulled-up boat for some reason. They're both going to end up being correct. we get a little nugget here and I've started to learn from this cast
Starting point is 00:39:41 they dropped little hints in the confessionals for later hopefully because apparently they were brothers Joe Allen Boink brothers which which is the better boinker I don't know yeah ask Kelsey
Starting point is 00:39:55 uh huh wait a minute what do you mean there's a lot of shenanigans here what's going on very uh as close to incestuous as you can get. Yeah, it's like borderline weird and gross, but I'm into that. Like, that's fine.
Starting point is 00:40:14 That, the brother boiking, ha ha, Jed making passes at your husband and eating his underwear, not ha ha. You see the difference? No. It's a, it's a thin line, but there is a line there. It's actually a pretty big line. What is the next level of Eskimo brothers, though? If you're already brothers, I don't know how that works. I don't either.
Starting point is 00:40:41 Wow. I'm really stuck on that. Yeah. I don't know. What's deeper than brothers or sisters? I don't know. Twins? Blood runs thicker than water.
Starting point is 00:40:56 I'm not going down there. Nope. Nope. Let's move on. Yeah, we need to move on. As we're going on the boat trip, I just,
Starting point is 00:41:04 I love Liz. And I keep saying love, but like, her sitting there on the water going there's nothing like this in the world. She's looking at a bridge. It's just a bridge. It's a pretty bridge, but we're looking at a bridge in the middle of Rhode Island.
Starting point is 00:41:19 Not that like this. Butches are fantastic, though. I like bridges. They are majestic, you know, especially when you're underrun, like looking up from a boat. It is.
Starting point is 00:41:25 You really notice the size of the bridge or like the Golden Gate Bridge. Obviously, if you're staying on a clip overlooking it, I get that. But there are plenty of places like this in the world. It's actually pretty common. You can see bridges everywhere in the world. Yeah, pretty much.
Starting point is 00:41:39 But the boat trip goes off without a hitch. I mean, it was nice to see everyone getting along. You know, Rosie and Kelsey don't have their shit going on. They're no longer fighting water under the bridge. So it's all, everything's copacetic as we leave the boat trip. And we get back to the mansion. When we get there, Joellen and Liz are talking. Liz comes out to the balcony, finds Joe standing there and she looks a little upset.
Starting point is 00:42:02 She's like, what's going on? She's like, I feel like shit. because you remember that day, I went up to Rula and I said, hey, I'll get you proof. I will get you proof. Why she's so invested in finding the proof? I'm not entirely sure. Why? We're just assuming that they were closer friends before Brian went ahead and called HR, but we don't really know.
Starting point is 00:42:22 She got the proof and she's got a video and shows Liz. Liz's reactions, I could have watched for another 10. Oh, my God. Yeah. Oh, God. Holy shit. I know what happened in the video. Because of her reactions,
Starting point is 00:42:38 I think I have an idea of what transpired in that video. Yeah. I don't know if and when we're going to see the full video. I don't know if we're allowed to see the video. Like it doesn't sound like there was... You could see nothing happening,
Starting point is 00:42:52 but I did see Brian on the phone. Yes. Now, I don't... I took away from it that there was no nudity, but maybe it's more that the mistress can. can't be on the show. So they can't really show it.
Starting point is 00:43:07 But they could probably still blur some faces. I guess. I don't like show us the whole thing. I do love the reaction. Like let's just go start with Liz. Great reactions. Let's go around the room. Everybody take a look at this video.
Starting point is 00:43:18 What's your reaction? Oh my God. This is the proof that you needed. This is the smoking gun. What is she going to say to this? Are we going to bring it to rule? And she's going to say, that's going to say, oh, we had to go over there. And that's what he was breaking up with her.
Starting point is 00:43:30 He had to break up. How many times are we going to hear that? I mean, this is just, it's ridiculous. I mean, everybody on the cast knows what's going to happen to because I like the, I, just the thought breakdown of, all right, I see the video. I see what's going on. This should be smoking material. This should be something that we point at like who's who the fuck has red interior in your car? This is obviously Brian.
Starting point is 00:43:49 There's Brian right there. He's hugging her. He's grabbing her ass. Everything you can imagine. Yeah. Where are we going to go from here? What is Rula going to say to this? Oh, we already know how this is going to go.
Starting point is 00:44:00 she's going to try to say that they were breaking it off. And this was from then. Nope, we've got the date. Okay. So it's two days before the polo grounds. This is what's going on here. Come on.
Starting point is 00:44:09 What are we supposed to do with this? I don't take it to Rula. For starters. Oh, we're taking it to Brula. Yeah. We're taking it to Rula. I know what you're saying. Like we already know probably where it's going to go.
Starting point is 00:44:21 The ladies know where it's going to go. So it is this kind of fork in the road of like, is this worth bringing to her? She's just going to bat it down again. But the level of detective going on to zoom into the dash and be like, look, there's the date Thursday, August 28. Like it was great. And it's literally two days before all that shit goes on at the polo grounds. Now they're trying to nominate somebody to go. And they're literally like, not me, not me, not it, not it.
Starting point is 00:44:50 They're asking Alicia to do it. It's like, I don't want to break a hot. Mind you. Alicia is the one at the polo grounds. I was like, I believe him. Brian, I believe you. He's a nice guy. So now she's supposed to take the reins and go break this news to Rula.
Starting point is 00:45:06 And she's like, I don't know. I'm so confused about what? That's confusing. It's very straightforward. Conflicted was probably the word that she was looking for. That's how I heard her. She said confused. I heard conflicted as soon as she said.
Starting point is 00:45:21 I knew what she meant. I'm starting to speak Alicia. But I think that's the funniest domination. That is by far the funniest domination. Like I go into your confession as you go through like Kelsey like Rosie like they don't know her. They don't really know Rula. We haven't really seen any actual interactions with Rula and the rest of the cast. We know that Rula knows Alicia.
Starting point is 00:45:41 We know that Rula knows Liz. We know that Rula knows Joe Allen. So it's got to be one of those three Alicia's easily the best choice because Liz is going to go in there and be like, my, come on. He is my. He is my point to her phone the whole time. Alicia's going to just bumble around and not know what to do. she's going to be very conflicted.
Starting point is 00:45:59 She's going to say a lot of things that she probably doesn't mean. And then the question why rule is even saying things in return, it's going to be a very funny situation. But this also, this is why I was saying earlier, I don't have a lot of faith in Rula. The fact that we know how this is going to go tells me that there's not a lot to do there. And on top of that, there is no other way for Rula to have a storyline with this present. This has to be addressed. it is the biggest elephant in the room.
Starting point is 00:46:30 So it's not like we can just say, oh, we're not going to talk about this anymore and go about her life and be interesting because all of us at home are going to be like, no, we want to know what's going on with Brian. It's Kyle Richards and Mo. It's like you can talk about whatever the fuck you want. We want to know what's going on here.
Starting point is 00:46:47 And everyone in the group, they're not going to let this go. Clearly, Joe Ellen's not. So I don't see a way forward for her on this show, knowing that she's still with Bryant because this is going to be ever present and it's going to reach a point where we're going to get irritated like Kyle and Mo because you're not talking about it. We're just acting like this doesn't exist.
Starting point is 00:47:07 That's going to get frustrating. So I don't know because Rula seems like a star. I don't know if we're going to get that, that shine. Yeah. I don't think we are. But I mean, she's going to have to come up into the fold at some point, right? In some capacity, yeah, it's just like what does that look like? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:47:26 Well, let's get to some questions, see what people are wondering what's going on here. What are you wondering? What's going on here? From Jennifer 612S, do you think Liz's age difference from the other women could hurt the show? No, I don't. I think you're going to see instances like the water slide situation come up here and there, but it's not going to bother anyone, honestly. No. Let me get ahead of this one real quick.
Starting point is 00:48:02 Jennifer M2M is Alicia on the verge of getting annoying or is she funny AF? I can't tell. She's funny as fuck. That's it. Period. She's not annoying at all. Yeah. I can't even.
Starting point is 00:48:15 Yeah. No, yeah. I can't even put myself in the frame of mind to understand what you're even asking. I mean, she's fantastic. Oh, from Zoe Cudla-Palae. Kathy Hilton sent Paris to a place like Joe Ellen's mom sent her. Will that ever come up? I don't think so.
Starting point is 00:48:36 No. I mean, Anthony Hilton. No. She's not going to let that come out. What do you know? No. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:48:41 That's not going to happen. Roman 5 is Brian already entering the Housewives Hall of Fame for disastrous husbands. Very quickly. Knocking on the door. Yeah. The problem is he doesn't have like a body of work like the rest of the husbands do. But I mean, as far as doing it like a speed run, he's killing it. One hit wonder.
Starting point is 00:49:02 Guys, yeah. Another one, R-H-L-M, mom, the dolls, is she sane? Alicia's perfect. She's perfect just the way she is, and she should be like this forever. We don't even need to question these things, because then if she sees it and gets self-conscious, we may not get full Alicia, and we need full Alicia. Yeah. From Jocelyn RP8, Kelsey's tagline, quote-unquote, who needs a sugar daddy?
Starting point is 00:49:29 You do, bitch, you do. who said that? That just made me laugh. That's fantastic. Yeah. That's interesting. Colin asks, who at this point of the two anchors of the show?
Starting point is 00:49:46 I don't know. That's Liz and Joellen, maybe. That's where it's leaning, yeah. Alicia's not an anchor. Yeah, I would say Liz and Joellen probably. Yeah. From Carly Bodos.
Starting point is 00:49:59 Do we think Brian is blackmailing rule? And that's why she's staying. Yeah. Yes. Yeah. I mean, yeah. Yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:50:08 Allegedly, probably. I don't know. That kind of stuff is so, who knows what goes on behind closed doors kind of shit and there's kids involved in money and all that. So I don't know. But the fact that they're still together now after he gets arrested for tracking her car, video cheating, like, it sounds like an awful, awful situation, honestly. Yeah. For sure.
Starting point is 00:50:32 Janice Ingram 360 is rule of faking these sicknesses just to keep an eye on her husband. Probably. Maybe. I didn't think about it that way. I thought it was just to avoid being around the women alone without any backup and having to face the music. But that actually might be what's going on and that would make a lot more sense. Anica Green, would you guys rather have Joe Ellen's mom or Bronwyn's mom, Muzzy? Muzzy.
Starting point is 00:50:57 Muzzy. Yeah. Muzzy sucks. Far and away. She's not sending a sober person. to rehab in high school. Yeah, that's, yeah, what is God.
Starting point is 00:51:09 Let's do one or two more here. Melanie Purham is actually crying, getting to be too much. The roller coaster that we're going to be on with her crying, it's going to be, it's currently funny. It will get annoying because she'll do it in a situation that doesn't warrant it
Starting point is 00:51:24 and we don't want to deal with it. And then it'll be funny again because she will cry in another situation that doesn't warrant it, but it's funny at that point. Oh, let me answer to this one. a Bachelor O'Malley Is everything okay No episode on Spotify since Friday
Starting point is 00:51:38 One, thank you for checking in with us Two, Spotify's having issues right now Everything's on Apple Yeah, I think it's back up though Yeah, check again, it should be good I mean, you might not be able to listen to this So if you're watching on YouTube instead Or Apple Podcasts, everything should be back now
Starting point is 00:51:56 So I had a weird thing We don't really know But we should be good to go I will do one more. I already answered one of your questions. From Theran 25, if you had to look ahead, what pairs are going to be the closest housewives on this show?
Starting point is 00:52:17 I think Rosie and Ashley are already kind of like solid there. Alicia and Liz have a great relationship. And they sort of have like that sister relationship. Joellen's not particularly close to anybody. but she's friends with all of them. I think that's the tough facade we're seeing from Joe Ellen right now. Like Liz has a very apparent tough exterior. I think Joe Ellen's got more of that like, you know,
Starting point is 00:52:44 I joke around and I, this and that, but like she doesn't let anybody in. I would, I'm going to assume the anchor, if you will. We had that question. And the, the duo is actually going to be a trio.
Starting point is 00:52:57 I would, I see Liz, Joe Ellen and Alicia. getting really tight and then something blowing up between them. Yeah, I can see that. But just gold, absolute gold, top to bottom, no notes, keep it up, ladies. This show, I hate that I watch it and then I have to wait a whole fucking week. Like, that's not good.
Starting point is 00:53:19 But that's all I got. You got anything else? Nope. Well, Robbros are out of here. Life moves too fast. scrolling, swiping, headlines, sound bites. Nobody's really seen.
Starting point is 00:53:33 Even the people everyone thinks they know. I'm Evelyn. I'm a television producer and director, and I've spent decades behind the camera creating shows with people everyone knows. On the podcast, Repin, I sit down with actors, creators, and change makers
