I would like to start out by saying,
if you think that we just hate watch and that we're grumpy and cranky,
go listen to our Rony recap.
Go listen to our next gen recap.
Go listen to any Southern hospitality recap.
There's a lot of good ones.
There's a lot of happy, fun ones.
Okay?
It's not our fault.
And I will not take flack for this show being as bad as it is.
Okay?
You could blame Vicky.
You could blame Emily.
You could blame Gina.
You could blame Bravo.
But damn it, I will not take any more shit for this show being so fucking bad.
Yeah.
we're full-blown hate watch there's nothing you can do it's it's gone on long enough the boring
has gotten to a point where it's bad and it's really bad and vicky had a terrible episode what a flop
like i've been holding out so much hope you have been so supportive dude oh dude it's been so
tough and like i just want her to turn the corner like all right you're back now it's like fuck
i'm reading into the fact that you and michael probably had a conversation about you coming
back and it ruining your relationship and you said it wouldn't ruin your relationship
And now all you're doing is working on screen because you don't want to lose your job or something.
What is going on?
I don't know why you're here.
Both shows you're flopping so, so hard.
And I have no hope that you're going to turn that corner anymore.
I'm done.
I am done.
And the show stinks.
That's yeah.
Yeah.
I mean, she's actively shutting down fun or conversations to further anything, actively shutting it down.
Actively shutting it down.
Just, whoof.
As there's a drive in a deep left field by Castellanos.
Oh, man.
It's 8 o'clock.
And so that'll make it a...
I don't need the spotlight.
I shine just fine.
Hi, I'm karma.
And yes, I am a bitch.
Brov Bros.
Good afternoon, everybody.
And welcome back to another episode of Brof Bros.
Your favorite podcast from The Bros.
For everybody, for whoever wants to listen,
I'm your co-host, Steele Russell,
joined as always by the one and only
Shooter Magooter.
Let's just open up with that today.
How are you doing?
How you feel?
I'm just going to continue our conversation right now.
Vicki's not even fucking shutting it down in a fun way.
She's not like,
you can shut it down.
I don't give a shit what you do.
Shut down the conversation if you don't want to talk about your relationship.
But do it in a fun way or do it in a constructive way that's going to shut them up.
You can't just walk away and say,
get out of my house and make people so uncomfortable that they leave your house.
Like it's not even funny.
I thought that was going to be funny.
When you see the clip, like,
all right, maybe there's something here.
Vicki's going to turn the corner.
She's going to get that edge back.
She's going to be funny and brutal and ridiculous.
And it's going to hate a lot of people are going to hate it, but I'm going to enjoy it.
No, it was uncomfortable.
The whole episode stunk from start to finish.
This was awful.
And it's so funny, too, because if you look, there are storylines.
There are actual storylines here.
It's Vicki and Michael and all of her weird secrecy about the relationship that she doesn't want to put on camera.
but at like a 5,000 foot level,
you're looking down and you're like,
all right, you're talking about a relationship with somebody
who just got back and it seems a little weird.
Let's dig into that.
Cool.
Now you've got Gina and Heather on the other side
and what's going on with Heather's favoritism of Carmela,
which again, when you get into the specifics,
it's fucking awful and stupid and I hate all of these people.
But again, if you go really high up in the air and look down,
you're like, all right, there's some friends mixing it up
and they don't know where they stand and things are going to get contentious.
That could be good.
There are actual storylines.
So that's what's been developing, I guess, so to speak, for the first nine episodes.
We get to episode 10 and they're just, I can't deal with it.
Everyone's reaction to things, their opinion about other things.
It is so dumb.
It's so outlandish.
It's so clutching pearls and not understanding.
Every time that they open their mouths, they say something else that's just wrong.
And if it wasn't for Carmela, I probably wouldn't have enjoyed any aspect of this episode.
but her getting pulled over was funny.
That's it.
That was the entire episode for me.
There he is.
Welcome back.
Yeah, it's been building.
It's been really building.
I don't like being positive.
I know.
And look, I will give you all the props in the world.
You tried.
Damn it, you hung on probably longer than most people watching this show.
You tried to hold on to the Vicky Hope.
But to your point and well-warranted rant,
there's just no way to defend.
her anymore. Like simply no way after her performance in this episode. This was one of the worst
housewife performances I've ever seen on a housewife show. It was pretty insane actually to watch
to the point like you said, I had a glimmer of hope too with that end scene. We got scenes
from last week or whatever. I was like, oh, that could be something. It's a little waggy. Kick him out.
Yeah. Genuinely made me uncomfortable at home. I'm watching like, oh, I feel icky. Oh, get out of that
house. Get out of that house now. Like, this is a bad place. I don't like it. So, like, the fact that
anyone still was giving her some leeway leading into this week, I get it. You know, we want
this show to be good. We wanted Vicky to come back in a positive way, make a positive impact on the
show. You really can't defend it now. And I think the best point you made, other than the obvious,
it is the comments and the opinions. It's the confessionals. It's like, why are, how are you getting that?
from what's going on.
Like, why are you so fucking sensitive?
Everyone's so sensitive.
Except Heather, which is funny.
Heather and Carmella really aren't or haven't been.
Carmela definitely not.
Heather's the one that gets painted as the overly sensitive person.
It's like, what are you talking about?
Gina and Emily, someone sneezes at you and you're like, oh my God, everything's over.
I'm so miserable.
You're not my friend.
You're fake as fuck.
Dude, fucking relax.
Everyone needs to take a brief.
either.
Gina's quote unquote epiphany of maybe Heather's just not that good of friends.
You know how when people treat you some way and you realize like, wow, maybe we're not
that close.
What the fuck are you talking about?
You have been surface level at best with Heather since you got on the show.
Your friends.
She doesn't hold the show.
She doesn't hold anybody on this show in regard of friendship.
She talked about Tamara in a box in the first episode or at least, you know, before the
episode.
and then we talked about it.
She doesn't care about any of you.
She might, might.
And this is a big stretch even.
But it looks like she's being nice enough to Carmella.
She might actually hold Carmela.
She looks like she might be friends with her.
Yeah.
She could actually be friends with Carmela.
And like that, it's,
that's eye opening in a way because you do see that.
Maybe that's what Jean is doing.
And I hate that I have to do this because maybe she's so close to the situation that
she never realizes it or she never really wanted to realize that she's not that
close with Heather. So when she's telling other people
in her gated group circle,
oh, I'm really good friends with Heather Dubrow.
Now she's
walking around like, fuck, am I a liar?
Am I a fraud? Yeah, you are kind of a fraud because
she's not your friend. And that's very true.
So when it comes down to all
of this, I'm like, ah, maybe she's watching
how good Heather
and Carmela are getting along and how
nice it is and how fun it is and how just
completely open and
like not full of drama and not full
of shit and drama and all
of that. And then you look back and you're like, she's never, she's never smiled like that at me.
She's never joked that much with me. She's, I've never heard her laugh like that. Now she's laughing
with her over there. Oh my God. Have we ever been for? No, you haven't. We've been saying it for years.
You should have turned on her. You get like cold feet whenever you start to turn or Emily's starting
to turn the wheels and then you jump ahead. Then you get cold feet and you back up and you're like,
oh, Heather, it's just Heather. I love her. But you go to your confessional and you call her fancy
pants all the time, which I don't know what bothers me more. Is it,
calling Vicki Victoria
and that is the answer by the way
because I despise that
I cannot stand it. It's like oh, I'm
closer to her. I call her Victoria.
No, shut up. Like you're
not friends with her either. Vicki doesn't care about you either.
But then you go over to Gina and she's like, yeah,
fancy pants has bigger fish to fry. She doesn't like you either.
Stop calling her fancy pants. That's derogging for it.
It's just like laughable,
honestly and not like a funny ha-ha way.
It's just like, yeah. I mean, you just laid it out perfectly.
But yeah, Gina, like, you haven't been friends.
Everyone's been yelling this at you for years.
You wanted to be friends because you want to be seen in the same circle as Heather Dubrow,
because she is fancy pants.
So you wanted to have that connection.
Did you want to be friends with her solely for real estate reasons?
No.
Did you want to be friends with their four real estate reasons?
Yes, you did.
Then you can't convince me otherwise.
And that's what we're seeing with this ridiculous, overly sensitive response
to Carmela helping her out with a rental
in an area that Carmela covers,
it's all so ludicrous, stupid, and just benign.
Everything's so benign.
And they're making it into the worst fucking thing in the world.
Right?
That is so true.
That's what's happening.
That is the course of this season is the most trivial bullshit ever.
Even going into Michael and Vicky,
they're making things up because Vicki's not giving them answers,
which they'd come to, like, it showed its ugly face in this.
episode last episode. I'm like, you guys are just making things up because she's not giving you
answers. Now it's like, all right, Vicki, you're not getting them answers. There is something
going on there and you don't want to touch it. Fine, whatever, but it's still tough to watch.
Everything else is so trivial and they're making it out to be this big, huge earth-shattering
thing. It's like, no, it's not that deep. Like, I wish that Heather would have just bopped
her on the head. By the way, I wish we could just do this the entire episode instead of even like
covering it scene by scene. But I wish that Heather could just reach across the table and bopper
in the head and be like, you don't fucking cover that area.
You also don't do that high of luxury real estate.
And I want Max to live in a cool place.
Not some fucking weird condo that you're trying to pawn off because
not a townhouse and a development.
Yeah, like an agated community.
Like, oh yeah, the gated community.
That's where everybody wants to live.
No, that's where senior citizens want to live to get away from everybody else.
Not real people.
So stop doing that.
You're not in the same tax bracket as Carmela and it's eating you alive.
And now you're upset because.
because your friend Heather didn't tap you in to go travel 100 miles to figure out where
Max wants to live because you know real estate, you know buzzwords.
You're a terrible real estate agent.
You're good for the middle class.
You're not good for the high class.
Carmela handles that all the time.
It is so black and white.
And she's like, my feelings are hurt.
Maybe we're not friends.
Jesus Christ.
Exactly.
Like when you break it down pragmatically and just look at it realistically, like, okay,
let's take the feelings out of this.
Let's take the emotions out of it.
would this make sense for Heather to go through Carmela?
One million percent, yes, that makes the most sense.
And like, does she owe Gina a phone call?
Fuck, no.
Do I have to call you shooter every time that Devin I want to make a move?
Like, oh, we're looking at like, let's say, last four, nine years, Poppy's in college.
Like, do I need to call my real estate friends and be like, hey, Poppy needs an apartment
at school?
do you cover California?
I know we're in Pennsylvania, but like,
that's the equivalent.
Like it's just fucking dumb.
And then to make it this whole big to do
where we have to sit here and talk about it,
while Carmel is sitting at the fucking table,
all she's trying to do, Gina,
she's butt hurt for a litany of reasons
that are so trivial that she shouldn't be butt hurt.
But she's butt hurt.
She does see, I think you clocked it perfectly.
she's watching how Heather's treating Carmela and having a light bulb moment of she has never once acted that way with me.
That seems so much more authentic and genuine than any interaction I've ever had with Heather.
So she's starting to realize this whole thing.
So what's the only plan of attack for a person like Gina?
Well, time to drive a wedge into that friendship.
Just definitely got to get ahead of this one and ruin everything that I can and use me and my real estate license as the reason.
No, it's a fucking rental that she's going to live in for not even half a year.
Like, get over yourself.
And the fact that we're trying to do this and force these things is just getting so exhausting.
Because like you said, let's just completely wipe the season clean as far as what we've seen.
Okay.
Now, plug in what's happening.
If it was treated as, oh, that's kind of funny or, oh, that is happening in your life.
And not the end of the fucking world.
some of these things would be kind of fun.
I would love to go apartment hunting with Carmela and Max and Heather and see what kind of fancy places we're looking at.
That would be fun.
I would love to be able to have a conversation and understand, is there more to this Mike's situation?
That would be interesting.
There are things that we can talk about if they weren't treated as drastically as they're being treated.
But because they're acting like each of these things are their 13th reason, it's just unwatchable.
It's simply unwatchable.
Of course, we're going to watch it, but like...
We have to.
And just, again, for the people of the back that keep complaining,
this episode, OC as a whole, compared to the shows that we even really like,
like Next Gen, the listens are double.
The amount of people that listen to our OC, even though we're hate watching it,
even though every episode, I'm just saying it's really fucking boring,
it still gets so many more listens.
just like when you tune into a show and you're like,
why is this show still on TV?
It's because there are half a million people tuning into O.C.
There's half a million people in the United States,
tuning in, probably overseas,
that are tuning into the O.C on a weekly basis
and watching this dumpster fire of a show.
And everybody has the same complaint,
but people still, like, they still tune in.
And I assume it's people that aren't on social media.
They're like, oh, I guess, you know, it's just a down season.
It's just a down decade for OEC.
How about that?
This show has not been good in like 12 fucking years.
Burn it.
Burn it to the ground.
And that's the thing.
Like, we cover this literally for you guys because we love you and you like these
listens.
The majority of you enjoy these.
So, of course, we're going to cover it.
And we will be miserable on your behalf.
That's fine.
But like, understand, like, to the people that are like, what?
We're not happy about it.
It's so funny.
If you hate it so much, stop watching.
You don't have to.
We do.
Because most of our.
audience enjoys it and we're here for you guys.
So yes, of course we're going to suck through it.
But my favorite, I saw this on threads like last week or the week before.
I feel like, I feel like the Brabros don't even like Bravo anymore.
Every time they get on and cover a show, they just start ripping it apart and they say that it stinks and it needs to change and it needs to get better.
Why don't even watch it.
It needs to change and get better.
They're just doing it for a paycheck.
It's like, what the fuck do you think?
Like, no.
We, every episode, if you listen, we, we.
always started off by saying we want it to be better it's just not and what do you want us to do sit
up here and be like ah this is going to be a shorter episode because we're only going to talk about the
things that we liked and then this episode is what 30 seconds long like wow that was really fun when
carmello got pulled over and she started cracking some jokes that showed her personality that was a
good for a newbie broad bros are out of here we'll check you next week maybe we might not check you
next week because maybe there's nothing that's going to be good.
Maybe nothing makes a smile and we just move on with our lives.
Who knows what's going to happen there?
But instead, we have to watch these because you guys all want to listen to us,
hate watch it.
And that's fine.
And I don't even,
look,
I'm not even blaming the listeners because they enjoy it.
And honestly,
to a degree,
I enjoy it.
It's fun.
I am getting revved up and I'm feeling good.
It is a Friday.
This episode is not even going to come out until Monday.
Just know I'm going to have great weekends because I'm getting this off my chest right now.
I'm feeling good about it.
Yep, good vent session before the weekend always helps.
But yeah, just to, you know, clarify that another time.
I know we've done it a bunch, but yeah, we're not actively trying to hate things.
And for the most part, it's actually been a fairly solid Bravo year.
There's been some clunkers, but overall, we've had some pretty solid shows.
So overall state of Bravo, I think we're doing okay.
State of OC, I didn't think it could get worse.
But like, dude, it is just getting worse year to year.
It's crazy.
And it sucks kind of because
Carmela seems like a star.
She seems great.
I think that she's a good fit.
I enjoy the scenes with her and Heather.
Heather,
I've enjoyed this season a little bit.
Shannon,
other than the Pratt falls and the stupid shit,
like her kind of mediating.
I haven't hated either because she hasn't jumped into anything stupid.
Like that I've kind of enjoyed.
So again,
there's pieces to this puzzle where it's like,
well,
that's not that bad.
It's always the same suspects.
It's literally,
it's year in,
year out.
It's the same.
suspect.
Gina and Emily,
get him off.
Get him off this fucking show.
I'll even say this,
and I don't regret saying it.
Even Emily is a little bit easier to watch,
but she's not doing anything.
She's just miserable in her marriage.
Yeah,
she's miserable in her marriage,
and she has nothing going on that's of any note.
So there's no point in even checking in.
Gina,
it's like they flip-flop every year.
Like,
Gina's kind of just,
Emily's lackey and going after it and doing whatever.
Now Gina's taking center stage.
She's being annoying.
Get them.
off the screen.
Get rid of them.
People are not tuning into OC to watch Gina and Emily.
People are tuning into OC this year to see if Vicky has anything left in the tank.
Spoiler alert.
There's nothing in the tank.
She somehow has negative in the tank.
She doesn't even want to be there for either show.
It's a double whammy.
So we have to put up with that.
And then, yeah, Heather is good.
Carmela, good.
Tamara, Shannon.
I understand why people love them and like them and want to see them.
That's why people tune into OC, not for Gina and Emily.
And it's been like that for five years now.
they had not made a change.
Get rid of at least one of them.
If you show some good faith to the audience, like, hey, we're going to make some changes
here.
Get rid of one of those two.
And people will actually believe you when you say we're making changes.
Otherwise, you're just going to keep putting in people who could be stars.
Like, this is the worst part is doing this sort of rationalization when you think about
someone like Carmela, who is really good.
And I have a lot of faith that she can be a very good housewife.
She's wasted.
She's awfully wasted on a show like this where she should be somewhere else.
And look, you look up the coast and you go to fucking Beverly Hills.
It's like, uh, nope, can't go there either because that shows things.
That'd be funny as shit to put her in Beverly Hills, though.
I would like that.
And Beverly Hills has more pieces than OC does and can be better.
They just choose not to be because Kyle doesn't want to be better.
That's a different story for a different day.
Don't worry.
I'm sure Beverly Hills is right around the fucking quarter.
It's a different day.
Yeah.
And look, by the way, it's going to be right on the heels of this season.
So we're never going to get a break.
But for OC, there's just never any real change.
Like you bring back Tamara, you bring back Vicki.
Okay.
cool. The rest of this cast still stinks until you make some actual changes and they refuse
to do it. They just keep peddling out the same bullshit and it gets worse every year. And I do
think as much as I just kept saying, it's boring, it's not bad, it's boring, it's not bad.
That made it even worse because it was boring for so long and then it got bad. It's like a
double waste of time. Yeah. And, you know, we've been hating for 20 minutes. So we'll start
with this episode recap, but there's a ton to talk about. But just to kind of put a chair
on top of your point.
People tune out because of Gina and Emily.
No one's tuning in for Gina and Emily.
And yeah, Numbis are doing fine.
They're not worried about ratings with O.C. or Beverly Hills.
But I think you said something really good.
It's a show of good faith that you're paying attention to what the audience is saying,
that people have been clamoring for this for years.
And it just shows like whack one of them.
I don't even really care which one.
whack one of them and just see the response see how the show looks without one of them she with
honestly i think it's a good show this is a crazy statement and then we'll start the recap
if you get rid of jena and emily and the shit that they cause and and the pearl clutching
and the sidestepping and the unimportant storylines they try to hold on to this show is probably
good it probably is good or at the very least mediocre you know yeah because like
Like, the rest, Heather, to me, the clocking out where she's phoning it in and everything,
that to me seems like a response of like, why would I show up?
Like, what the fuck?
Nothing's happening.
So like, no, I'm not going to sell out for this show because nobody else's.
Like, she's still enjoyable.
Tamara's still doing Tamara things.
Like, yeah.
So I think that the clear answer here is two of your castmates do not belong in this show anymore.
Get rid of them.
But, okay.
let's jump in and uh we get another a lot of eddie sightings this season we get eddie right out
of the gate with tamer they're packing they're going to selvang solvang which is uh danish town
in californ it looked super cute actually it looks kind of nice is that they went vpr when christin fell
oh was that a danish town i don't is it german i think it was german i'm trying to remember
because they definitely, I haven't visualized in my head.
I could see that.
Kristen got really fucking drunk and then she fell off the couch.
I think that was in, I think that was in this place.
Yeah, I think it was in this town.
How many Danish villages are in California, you know?
That was my thought, yeah.
But she said something that perked my ears up because one, she's stepping back from Shannon.
Don't stop, please.
But see, Carmel is not trashy.
I'm like, ah, okay.
So that's what Tamara.
going to do, which we predicted last week.
She's going to get involved with the Heather thing.
She finally sees some kind of opening.
Do I hate it? No.
At least you're doing your job.
You found something to latch on to.
Go ahead and see what you can do with it.
Meanwhile, Jen and Ryan, they're packing.
So we got a split.
This episode is also a nightmare to take notes for.
Yeah.
Thankfully, it wasn't good.
Yeah, there wasn't much to write down.
But split trip.
You got Vicki, Emily, Shannon, and Jen are headed to La Quinta
to go see Vicki's house.
on the other side, you've got Carmela, Tamara, Heather, and Gina.
So we're splitting up the group to go on these separate trips.
Just checking in or packing, we're having fun, you know, like when your spouse is headed on a trip and you kind of hang out while they pack and just kind of jib jam a little bit.
Like, oh, yeah, blah, blah, I'm going to miss you.
Then you get to Shane and Emily.
Only one night.
Ha, ha, ha.
I know, I'm so sorry about staying for longer.
You guys are fucking miserable.
Don't worry.
I sat down with Lou.
Luke and I talked in through everything.
I think it's going to be okay.
Like stop.
Like, stop.
Everything you do,
leave it out.
Like,
every single time.
Like,
I'd rather just watch the two of them hate each other and just wish that
they were gone for longer than you have to shoehorn in.
By the way,
Luke's been a lot better.
He doesn't call me and text me the entire time and ask for me to go.
But he was latched on my leg.
It's like,
Jesus Christ.
And then we have to do this thing again.
Like,
it's always so prevalent in my mind,
her in New Orleans.
am I a bad mom for leaving my son?
Figure it out.
Maybe you shouldn't be there.
Like, I still hate her for that one.
So stop talking about Luke.
It's over.
We're done.
You've got to figure things out,
but that's not something that should be on screen right now.
It's like her defense mechanism.
Oh, I need something to talk about.
Luke, no, because you also get upset when people talk about your kids.
And I agree, like, there's a difference between you talking about your kids on camera
and a cast being talking about your kids.
But you can be.
sure of three things this season if Emily's on screen.
And it's like a scene like this, like a one on one.
She's going to reference Luke.
She's going to say Victoria.
And she's going to reference her and Shane just despising each other.
Like that's a guarantee.
And that's, we get all three of them in this, except she does say Victoria,
especially, I believe.
So then even when she draw, or when Shane drops her off and walks her to the door,
weird.
I don't know why I thought that was weird.
but oh yeah i thought that was weird too she's like all right i release you like can you guys just
do fucking one thing that's normal stop being so weird enough i can't they think this schick is like
funny or fun it's like you don't want to watch miserable marriages like that's not fun or funny
and especially it like there's other people that do jokes like this where it's like ah they're just
razzing a little bit you guys hate each other so it just it makes me feel weird flash over to
eddie while uh tamer's getting ready to leave looking down at the dog like oh i guess it's just
going to be me and you. I'm like, shut up, Eddie. You are ecstatic. You are so excited. Yeah,
shut up, dude. You know, fooling anybody. But Vigy pulls up in like a Ford F-250, excited to show her
house. And the minute I heard this line, I was immediately wary because she says, it takes a lot
to own three houses. And I want to show them that you can work hard and have fun. Can you?
Because I don't believe you. I think you can in real life. I don't think you know how to do it. And
we're going to see that on the fucking ride there because you get both rides everyone's going you got
Tamara and jina complaining because carmella arrived late doing her hair whatever and then you got the
vicky car she's literally doing emails again and she's like i got to work playing the quiet game
you're working on camera this is also your job you have been like crying to get back on this show
like for years and you're back and you want to work and send silent emails that we can't hear or see.
And then when the ladies in the back are pressing you a little bit, it's just like, hey, we want to talk to you.
We want to interact.
We're going to play the quiet game.
You don't even allow these conversations to take place.
These shows are quite literally about conversations, drama, and interaction.
that's what we watch them for.
You are literally avoiding conversation,
shutting down interaction,
and then go into the confessional to talk to us
and act like we're going to be like,
oh yeah, totally, get your work done.
Don't let dad distract you.
Work hard, play hard, but work comes first.
Fuck off.
It's stuff tough.
It's insane.
Yeah, it's unbelievable.
And also, we're going to your house.
Like, why don't you drive and chat and talk about
the house, maybe talk about your relationship.
I don't know.
Let us in on your life.
I think that's another thing that the show is about.
And then let us get excited for the trip that we're going on.
Nope, I got, I got some emails to do.
No, like, absolutely not.
I just don't understand what he's doing here.
Like, it clearly, you weren't ready.
Clearly, you didn't really want to come back.
Clearly, it's creating a divide in your relationship.
But yeah, sure, by all means, answer your emails on the car ride up and do not interject in
any conversations because why would we want you to?
No, actually, go to your.
confession and complain about the other women talking.
That's fun.
Yeah.
That's a great time.
And you also, at the same time, in the Tamara car, you've got Gina, who is so butt hurt that she
cannot stop talking about this, Heather and Carmela thing.
And it's like, we've reached a point now where is there one more conversation to be
had between Heather and Carmela to kind of put this to bed?
Probably where it's like, hey, just want to follow up.
Like, that did suck.
But we're going to move forward.
but you don't need to enter you're you're working very hard to make this okay you're working
very hard oh my god you know it's the fakeness for me are we not as good of friends as we thought
you're the only person on earth that thought you and heather were that close i'm sorry i'm sorry
if that hurts the year and i think jena jina followed us at one point on on instagram so you know
tough if she still is but apologize you know like obviously tam was going to jump in and be like
it's a pattern with Heather.
You know,
maybe you should stop talking shit.
It's like,
all right,
time out.
Everybody time out.
Hard time out.
Because this goes for Gina as well.
Heather confirms as much later in a confession when she's like,
everybody was saying things and like atrocious things.
I do believe that.
I also believe when shit is talked,
whether it's a good thing or a bad thing.
Heather does not go and tell people usually.
Of course,
there's sometimes.
But for the most part,
she doesn't just randomly throw people under the bus unless it's in an attempt.
to clear her own name.
So I actually understood what she was saying,
where it's like it felt like you kind of use this.
And yeah,
I'm going to eat shit here because I was saying mean things,
but we have moved forward since.
Like everything Heather's saying makes sense.
Was it rude?
100%.
Do I like it?
I hate it, actually.
I think it's kind of shitty.
But they're able to move forward.
Carmelo's able to move forward.
That's all that should matter.
But she got butt hurt Gina in the back who's crying
because she doesn't have a real friend going,
I thought Heather was my friend.
Why is she going getting real estate?
through you.
And then talking to Carmela about it too, like, and this isn't even Gina's intention.
She's just so insecure that she can't shut up about it.
If it was her intention to try to like soften it a little bit and then go after
Carmela and be like, you got to keep an eye on Heather.
She's not thinking like that.
Tamara might say that.
But Tamara's just like a sentient being that latches on to whatever the drama storyline
is and tries to stir things up.
So I don't even blame Tamara.
Like there's just nothing here.
And you're looking to see.
you're like, well, I don't know, I am friends with Vicky and I don't really know what's going on there.
I'm going to ask a couple of questions about Michael and just leave it at that.
Maybe she gets involved at some point in a couple episodes when she realizes that the Heather thing's over.
But the other thing that we're talking about is the Heather situation and what she's talking about behind people's back.
So of course, Tamara's going to get involved.
I don't blame her.
There's just nothing else for Tamara to do.
Her one job on this show is to continuously stir the pot, find out new things, and then slam people.
If there's nothing of substance here, nothing that actually makes sense and is entertaining, this is what she has to do.
She just is left to what's around.
And because of the supporting cast, there's nothing around.
So we have to talk about that.
So I don't blame Tamara.
I still blame Emily.
I still blame Gina.
And I still at this point blame Vicki.
So it's just, it's so brutal to watch.
And you can see it all happening too, because you know this is how the show is going to go.
And you see it all popping up.
You're like, oh, really?
We're going to do all this, this episode with the split group.
of course we are we're going to talk shit on other people it's of course what we're going to do it's just so
boring you also get to watch jena in real time making up a story about mike and vicky now yeah
that's still annoying yeah like that we've agreed that does appear that there's more to that story
given the end of this episode just kind of how vicky approaches the whole thing like was it
a firm stance from michael like look i will not put up with being talked about on this show
I don't know what the ins and outs are.
There's something there.
It could be.
This episode is sponsored by Vinted.
I feel like we all have that section of our closet filled with clothes that we keep telling
ourselves that we're going to wear again.
I promise.
We're definitely going to wear that shirt again, even though it didn't really fit that
well, even though I didn't really get any compliments.
Or it still has the tags on it and I actually never wore it, but I have an idea that
I might wear it.
And I've been trying to be better about cleaning out my closet.
And Vinted makes it really easy to actually do something with the stuff.
that I'm not wearing. Vinted is a secondhand marketplace app where you can sell your clothes you no
longer wear and make some extra money while giving those pieces a second life. And the thing I really
like about Vinted is how simple the selling process is because it could be a headache. A lot of those
other sites are very, very stressful. But all you have to do is list your item. And when it sells,
Vinted creates the prepaid shipping label for you. So you don't have to do all that stuff yourself.
Plus, there's no seller fees. So you keep everything you earn. And the Vinted app is free to download
which makes it really easy to just start listing some of those pieces that you have sitting in your closet day after day.
Honestly, it's a great feeling to clear out some of that space, get some extra money along the way,
and then you use that money toward refreshing your wardrobe.
Maybe it's some pieces that you'll actually wear this time around.
Ready to clean out your closet and make some extra money, download the Vinted app for free and start listing.
With no seller fees, you keep every dollar you earn.

But Gina's quite literally saying like, oh, maybe, maybe got the ring and something
happened.
They got in a fight.
He's like, well, hold on.
Brother, you're literally just making things up, talking to us.
Like, that's not how, like, I don't care.
Like that, there's no, ask Vicky.
Press her about it.
I know she shuts you down every time.
But like, Jesus.
You're literally making shit up in a confessional and then taking it as gospel and going back with it.
It's like, what, that's not even creative.
Like, that's sloppy.
That's lazy.
It's lazy work from the gated group.
And I don't appreciate it.
Oh, yeah, yeah.
But the one little sliver of fud that we get to have, Carmela gets pulled over.
And I love that she leans into the quote unquote trashy, like,
previously in jail before.
She's just kind of going all in because she knows these other ladies like,
oh my God.
Oh,
I'm scared.
Oh,
Jesus.
And it's funny.
She's like,
oh,
forgot to tell you guys,
my license is suspended.
Ha ha.
And they think that she might.
Her registration is.
Yeah.
That's the funniest part.
Something expired.
But she got pulled over for the tinted windows,
which is hilarious.
Yeah.
Black that far.
It was just a funny scene watching her lean into it,
watching the other ladies kind of panic,
watching Heather go back at her.
Like,
if that's a dynamic.
between the two of them and they're actually friends.
And she makes some jokes like that where it's like,
oh,
here we go again.
Ha ha,
cool.
Like,
that's funny.
I'm down to that.
But like,
the rest of it after this is just,
it kind of goes downhill from here.
That was the one little sliver,
a little brief moment where we get to be happy.
Very brief.
And then we get to Lakeita and it just fucking,
shoot.
But that was the worst.
I mean,
Lakeinta aside,
like obviously we knew Lequinta was going to be tough.
And we knew.
what was going to happen over there.
But when we're still with the other group, I'm like, all right, maybe this was right.
Maybe this was just a little bit of funny, a little bit of humor just to just end it.
Because that's all we're talking about right now.
We're all over the place.
We're talking about so many different things with Heather.
We're talking about Vicki and Mike.
It's getting annoying and contentious.
And then that happens.
It's like, oh, maybe a little breakup.
Cool.
Maybe we can start to have fun.
Now we're going to circle back as soon as we get out there.
Don't worry about that.
God, damn it.
Please don't do this.
where you have to endure Lakeinta at this point.
Please don't make it unfun on your side too.
Please, for the love of God.
But don't worry, we are going to make it unfun.
And the other ladies arrive and what is it called?
I wrote it down wrong here.
Selvig?
Selvig?
Yeah, I think it's Selvig.
Okay, that sounds right.
Don't ask me, though, because I wasn't paying attention.
Well, we get to lunch, and that's Vicky and Jen.
This is kind of a microcosm of why Vicky is flopping so hard.
she goes at Jen says,
you are snippy at me.
And Shannon,
again,
this mediator role,
I don't hate.
I think that it's kind of interesting
to watch her not get involved.
She's not taking the bait
on the Tamara stuff.
And she's bringing up good points.
Like,
well,
I mean,
you started the snip by calling her a troublemaker.
And then it starts,
like the Vicky thing.
She's a low-hanging fruit.
Well,
that's fucking mean too.
Well,
what do you mean by that?
Don't worry about it.
Like,
oh, my God,
everyone stop piling on me.
No, you're being an asshole.
Every episode, you're being a dick to somebody.
Then you get checked for being a dick,
and you get upset that people are picking on you.
That doesn't work.
It's not even in like a fun, funny way where it's like delusion.
It's just like, no, you're ruining my piece.
You're ruining my peace.
Like, leave me love.
Quiet game.
Quiet game.
Like, no, no quiet game.
That's the one thing and that's the one sliver of hope that you would even have
going into this with Vicky is she can be so downright mean.
and yeah, she probably means it,
but she has to back herself out of a corner before she could do anything else.
And if you're doing it with the right group,
they'll start to question it and then she pops off.
But instead, before we even get there,
as soon as she tries to start explaining herself,
she's like,
ah,
you guys are all jumping down my throat.
I don't want to talk about this right now.
I know what we're doing.
We're not playing this game right now.
We're going to play the quiet game.
It's like,
what the fuck?
You said something.
We now have to answer it.
Jen, again, is too nice.
And she's,
she is irrelevant this season.
She is beyond irrelevant this season.
and she should be answering back and going at Vicky.
I don't care if it's at Vicki's house.
That's funny to me.
Go back at Vicky in a hard way.
She just called you low-hanging fruit.
She turned to you last week when her marriage,
or lack thereof, was being questioned at that lunch.
She turned to you out of nowhere and said,
well, I'm not going to do what you guys are going to do.
I'm not going to wait forever to get married.
You don't even have a fucking ring.
Tell her that, Jen.
Get involved in a way.
Do something.
But she doesn't even get anything out of her mouth before Vicki just shuts it all down.
She said, well, we're not doing it.
doing this right now. I can't handle it with you guys. I got to go away. It's just emails.
What the fuck are you doing here? We're going to golf with you. You plan this whole
thing. You're not letting people talk. And then you want to shut things down by saying,
I don't like the new girls. She's been here for four years, dude. You're new. I think,
like what I've kind of started to figure out, at least I think, I think she expected to come
back into this show with the same pedigree as like her peak on this show like when she was one of the
more notable housewives on TV back in the day and she's coming in and she's not getting that just
unconditional respect because you haven't been on the show it's a new dynamic new people on the show the show
the show's functioning way differently than it used to to begin with so you don't get to make
demands and put your foot down and then to call gen new like no four years is a longer tenure than
many housewives have on the network period.
So you don't get to throw that one out there.
That makes no sense to me.
And that's when she starts to shut down, like go in this shell and then Mike gets home.
Tell me lay off me in my marriage.
Like, we can do what we want.
No one said that.
Like you're bringing us up.
And now like Emily, we got to listen to her go, hmm, Mike showed up in Pegas.
This also showed up here.
Maybe he needs to check in on Victoria or maybe not.
you know, maybe he actually did have work closer to this house.
So he's like, oh, I'm going to go there, stay there.
I want to gamble a little bit.
It's my house.
So I'm going to head out to Lakeitha.
It could be that simple.
It could be that simple.
And it's also kind of funny too, because like, yes, I do think that there is some smoke
and some potential fire there with those two.
We agree on that.
But we don't really know.
And up until this point, you guys are just making things up because she's not answering
things.
All that tells me is,
we watched you with Shane and you kind of shoe him away like, oh, I'm just going for one night.
Don't get too excited.
Your marriage is miserable.
If Mike is showing up and he's showing up at the tail end of your Vegas trip and then the two of them are hanging out for an additional couple of days,
they have a house together in Lakeinta and he's showing up there because he likes to be around her.
That could be a good relationship.
That could be that he likes her and wants to be near her and meet you guys.
But you guys are so standoffish about the whole thing.
and Vicki obviously doesn't help because she immediately starts questioning what they're
questioning and telling Mike that they're questioning their marriage or lack there of again.
Those are the things that go into it.
It's like, I don't really see this.
This is ridiculous, especially for you, Emily, to say that because you can't wait to get
away from Shane.
Now that Vicki's boyfriend is showing up, you're like, kind of weird that he's checking
in on it.
Maybe he just wants to be around her.
Maybe you've been so removed from a happy relationship.
You can't even see that.
And again, I don't know if Mike and Vicki's relationship is happy.
I would guess it's kind of leading towards no, it's not.
It's weird.
But that's just based off of how Vicki is and how everybody else is making things up.
So I don't fucking know what's going on there.
But Emily, you have no idea what's going on.
So you don't get the question those things.
It's more just speculating and making things up for lack of a better word.
Like that's all we're doing.
And that's stupid.
And then we get in the car to go to the quote unquote,
whoop it up, classic.
There's no one's whooping shit up.
What'd they play, like two holes?
I don't even know.
But like, I can't imagine they were out there for that long.
No, I didn't.
appear that way at all. But like, this is when she's doing emails in the car. It's like,
they don't have my business or my workload. I'm not complaining. They are. No, we are.
The audience. We are. Yeah. Yeah. We're losing out of this.
Like, no, we don't want to watch you send emails, dude. Like, in what world? Like, we get it.
You've built yourself a very impressive business. You've done very well for yourself. Awesome. Good for you.
That cannot be your only personality trait because that's boring as shit. We want you.
you to have money and then do stuff with it, not be handing out.
Like, that's what sucks, dude, because like the idea of somebody coming into a party
with a life insurance handout, like fill this out, that's funny.
But because of how she is and what she does, it's not funny because it's like real.
It's like, here, fill this out.
It's like, oh, I think she's serious, guys, like fill that shit out.
That's not funny.
It's just not, nothing's hitting.
It's just a big flop.
Yeah.
there's no good stick there.
Nope, not at all.
But I did take notes here.
I thought Jen had a decent swing.
Just eye off the ball.
Tamara has a decent stroke as well.
Emily also had a decent stroke.
Shannon and Vicki,
no surprise there.
Shadden going to the bathroom was very funny.
Shannon's going over to the random people that I loved seeing that.
And we've been to Likina before.
I think Kyle Richards has a house down there.
And we've seen the people and that we've talked about like golfers
just kind of like mingling around.
around behind their house.
Just like,
ah,
get them away from me.
This was funny because you could see from wall to wall up that,
whatever that hole was,
I'm assuming it's the first hole,
that there were people out on their decks like filming.
They're like,
oh,
there's a filming for a little.
Oh,
it's that.
You know what's funny too?
And I thought about this.
People who live there and have like vacation homes there,
probably look out their back door and like,
oh,
camera crew,
I wonder who's out here,
a good golfer.
Nah,
it's the fucking real house fives again.
Oh,
it's the OC ones.
It's not even the cool ones for Beverly Hills.
It's the OC people.
that probably does happen that's actually kind of funny but while all this is going on and we're jumping
back and forth carmella and heather had the conversation that i said did need to have one more to
kind of put it to bed and be able to move forward and jean is fuming they're driving in golf carts right
now jean is behind just so peanut butter and jealous like green quite literally green with envy
and that's when heather says and yeah it's a bit of a cop out not going to lie she's like
you know, just kind of bum, because Gina took this thing I said to her and then told Emily and
this. It's like, all right, well, the root, let's not lose the root of it. The root of it is that you
were saying mean things. Like that doesn't go away. But was it a move by Gina and Emily to try to
blow this whole thing up? Yes. Were they saying horrible things too? Probably, which is ironic
that Gina's going through this through the guise of I'm trying to defend Carmel.
when actually what's going on is you are so upset that Heather has Heather, here's my biggest
question.
Has she ever used you as a realtor ever?
No.
No.
She used that dude from selling sunshead or, yeah, like, so why now?
And her big thing is like, we support one another.
Do you?
Like, I don't think you guys hang out in the office.
season. You barely hang out during the season unless it's like a cast trip. So I don't believe
you and I don't understand why. And when Heather lays it out, like here's why she's going to
her office in Corona Del Mar. That's where I'm looking for a house like way far away from this place.
Like this all makes sense to me. Gina, she knows it's going to upset me and doesn't even pick up
the phone and call me. You're not even going to give me a quick ring and talk about it. I think that
Heather was mad like the this shows you the delusion in which Gina where she thinks she stands.
Yep.
I think Heather was mad at me.
And this was a retaliation to which I wrote.
I don't think Heather thinks about you enough for that to be a thing.
Like period.
No.
Relevant to her.
But also like I tried to do the mental gymnastics of what happens if Heather calls Gina and says,
oh yeah, you know, Max is looking for an apartment.
I was talking to Carmela and, you know, she has some properties and stuff down there.
So I'm just going to ask her if she knows of any places.
Like if it was a passing comment, just to let Gina know.
Again, she doesn't owe it to Gina to do this.
That's a ridiculous thing to say.
But Gina's clearly got her butt hurt and she feels bad about it.
But if this happened, you would still be doing the same thing.
You'd still be crying in front of the cameras that Heather didn't use you.
So don't act like all of the sudden it's like, wow, she didn't even talk to me.
It's like she was shunning me.
No, like you said, she wasn't thinking about you at all.
She doesn't think about you at all.
You are so caught up in the world of Heather Dubrow.
And then at the end of the day, when the cameras go down and she goes back to Beverly Hills,
she's not thinking about Gina.
She's thinking about all the other things going on in her actual life, not you.
Exactly.
So for you to say that this was a move, I don't think she thinks that far ahead when it comes to you.
I think that she was like, oh, she does real estate.
This is the area I'm looking.
this makes a lot of sense to help me find a rental real quick.
Works at the Oppenheim group, high pedigree.
I'm going to go through her.
That's it.
I think that was the extent of her thought process.
I don't think that Gina or the gated group entered into that at any point.
But that's where we go directly from that to dinner.
And that's when it just becomes so evident, at least to me.
I'm like, this is all just because you thought that you were better friends with Heather.
And you're finding out right now that you really aren't.
and somebody who she deemed trashy before has now become actual friends with her.
You're seeing that and it's making you feel some type of way so you're lashing out.
And the way in which you're doing it doesn't make a lot of sense.
And Heather makes decent points.
Again, the root is that you were talking shit and you're trying to cover it up a little bit right now.
But the root of it is, Gina's upset because Heather has a better friend.
And she's trying like this is when you say stuff like this, you're loose.
when she's like,
yeah,
what did she say?
Oh,
there is.
Heather says to Gina,
you did that on purpose to hurt me in regards to telling about the trashy comment.
Well,
that's my opinion,
Heather says.
Well,
your opinion sucks.
That's all we got.
That's all we got.
Your opinion sucks.
I think Heather's actually closer to being right than you are.
Do I think she's fully right?
No,
because again,
she was talking shit.
I think she's closer to what's going on.
than you because I do genuinely think that she wants to be friends with Carmela.
You know why?
I haven't seen Heather like this in years.
This is the first time I've seen her like he, he, ha ha with one of the girls.
So like, what do you want?
Dude, you're not cool enough to hang out with you bro.
It's the overbearing, threatening nature of potentially not being friends or
realizing that you've never actually been friends with Heather and you've only been a
coworker.
That's what we're watching.
We're watching a very conflicted Gina who realizes I.
could drag this on for a long time and act like Heather's never been there for me and start
questioning the friendship. But that actually hurts my feelings when I'm doing that to myself.
So do I want to do this? That's kind of where Gene is right now. She's in that weird
purgatory of I want to talk about this. I think it's good. And I think Tamara's kind of given me
a little bit more gas to this to add to this fire. So maybe I'll go this way. But at the same time,
do I really want to know the answer to that? Probably not. So I'm going to keep living in La La Land,
but I kind of want to dip my toe back and forth. That's what we're
watching from Gina and it's so annoying.
Like it's just not good. Like go one way
or the other. I don't care what you do, but this in between
shit doesn't work. No, it's brutal. And then it gets all the way back to
the fucking real estate contact thing where it's like,
you're just user for real estate contacts. Like you said that.
No, she didn't. Tamara said that to her in which Heather's
response was, well, she's definitely not getting him now,
implying that that was not the root of she didn't think that.
to put that on her and now you are
just scrambling to find anything
to defend yourself in this bullshit
argument and you bring that
one up it's like God dude like
Heather's saying that these
are the moments I thought what she
said in this moment was like
the perfect explanation
of this show
it's hard to move forward with someone
who is always looking for cracks
that's what Gina and Emily do
they're looking for the smallest
iota of any
thing that could be afoot.
And a lot of the times it's a non-thing and they take it and they run with it for 18 episodes.
So I thought that Heather nailed that one.
I was like, that's the problem with this show is that we are looking for threads that do not exist and pulling them until there's nothing left.
And we are all bored.
Yeah.
And we've said that so many different ways over the last four or five years, however long it's been.
It's just, it's funny to finally have somebody just say it out.
out right. Hopefully other people are listening and hopefully Bravo's listening. It's like, yeah,
that is what's going on here. That's why this show always fizzles out or never really gets off
the ground, whatever you want to say. That is exactly why. And who are the culprits? It's always
Gina and Emily. Sometimes it's Tamara, but again, I'm not putting that on Tamara because she's just doing
it because everybody else is doing. She's trying to do something and trying to raise it up a couple of levels
to make it somewhat watchable because she always has that in the back of her brain. I want to get
involved and we're going to make this something good for the show or at least try, but it always
starts with Gina and or Emily and it never goes anywhere.
No one ever does anything else.
No one's living interesting lives.
And that's where we are.
Just kind of stuck here.
Yeah.
Not to mention at this dinner, once we get through the bullshit, everybody at the fucking table is
viving with Carmela.
She's making everybody crack up.
She's fun.
She's funny.
All of those things.
She's making digs at Vicky.
which are well warranted and very funny.
She FaceTime's Danny to go look at her pantry
because Vicki claimed that she didn't have food in there.
Like that's the level in which we are at this season
is that Vicky is saying something's wrong
because she doesn't have TVs on the wall in her pantry's empty.
He didn't have a cutting board.
Shut up.
Dude, I don't care if it's a rental.
I don't even think it is.
Even if it was like Meredith Marks doesn't live in Salt Lake City.
We are all very well aware.
And most of us like Meredith Marks.
So no, just absolutely not.
but her finishing off with for the record Betty White,
I was like,
hmm,
that was funny.
Thank you for being a bright spot in this otherwise miserable show.
Which takes us to my least favorite scene probably ever.
This is up there in worst scenes from Bravo.
We get to Vicki's house.
We're swimming.
There's a,
I thought it was like a dryer sheet,
the condom thing.
That was my guess,
like a dryer sheet or something.
I don't know.
Probably.
I thought that was going to set Vicky off.
Like, how dare you say there's a condo in my pool?
Like, that was the, I thought we were going that way.
But instead, we get in the hot tub.
The second Vicky sits down, like literally, we don't have time to talk about.
I'm bored.
Okay.
Great.
That's fun.
This is a fun time.
It's your house.
All right.
Now, when we get it, yeah, first of all, but like, when we get it, all of those things.
And, like, the one of the, like, cornerstones of cast trips.
is you're stuck,
we have to talk about things.
Most of the time,
the way it goes is throughout the day,
we're having fun.
People are dropping little nuggets here and there.
Hey,
we've got to figure this out.
Hey,
we've got to figure that out.
You get the group together at the end.
It's been a long day.
drinks have been flowing.
We have the conversations.
It's time to talk about
all of the things
that we've been tiptoeing around.
Let's get into it.
Okay.
Does the low-hanging fruit bother you?
well uh i was just jabbing she started it no you did but okay i'm just tired of tired of it leave mike
we're not talking about mike no one said mike in this moment shannon defends jen multiple times
okay jesus you guys i the only time i've ever agreed with emily arguing with annabel is more
sophisticated probably yeah honestly i believe that
It's not even arguing.
It's just having a conversation.
That, I think, is the most maddening and frustrating thing about all of this is, yes, it is brutal to watch.
It makes you uncomfortable.
And obviously the way that this scene plays out.
And towards the end, it's like, yeah, you guys should actually get the fuck out of there.
You're going to have more fun at home than you would at Vicki's.
But Vicki could do away with all of it very quickly.
Stop questioning it.
Everything's fine.
He just doesn't want to be on camera.
He shows up at Vegas because we wanted to hang out for a couple of days after he shows up here because he lives here.
and he was just nearby while doing something for business.
And then we're going to hang out and everything's totally fine.
We're in our late 60s, early 70s.
We don't know when we're going to get married or if we're going to get married,
but we would like to and we talked about it a couple times and that's it.
That's all you have to say.
It's like three or four sentences.
And if they continue, then yeah, get mad at that because they're just pushing an agenda
and they want to talk about something that isn't their own miserable lives.
That's what you can do.
You can turn it back on that.
But right now, these are still just like exploratory questions and she can't even handle those.
what do you think's going to happen?
You've been on this show long enough.
You've been on reality TV long enough.
You know what happens with the people who are watching,
all the viewers that are watching.
We now have questions afterwards
because your refusal to answer those questions.
Now it's painting him in a bad light,
which is what he probably didn't want in the first place.
You're doing a terrible job at explaining any of it.
But now there's even more questions.
The more that you refuse to answer and shut people down,
the more, especially this group,
they're going to dig.
And then it's going to go from Emily back to Gene.
over to Tamara, everybody's going to get involved.
And that's what we're going to do for the next 10 to 12 episodes.
It's just discuss Vicky and what she's doing with Michael.
You could have just done away with it and done yourself some favors.
But you got bored.
He wanted to play the quiet game.
And it backfired.
There's nothing you can do about it.
But this is, unfortunately, it's what she deserves because she's not showing up for work.
I mean, it's a great point.
Like, it's all self-inflicted by your lack of response to any questions that they have.
And like you completely, not that you had probably support from most of us out here,
but you completely lose any credibility when in your confessional, you're like, you know,
my relationships have been hurt by other people's opinions.
And we're going to flash back to Brooks, the guy who faked cancer, that's your defense.
They ruined that relationship.
He faked cancer, dude.
Like, terrible, terrible idea.
Like, this is the whole thing.
Like you said, you are causing more issues than anybody else by not talking about it and
watching you shut down every attempt.
By the way, they're not even coming at you.
They're genuinely asking questions.
They're genuinely trying to get you to apologize for being so shitty to Jen for no
fucking reason, except for the fact that she's been here not long enough.
And what the real problem is is the same reason you don't like Carmela because
they're attractive younger women and that pisses you off or you think they're trashy.
Like, that's all it's giving.
So this whole song and dance of like,
I'm not doing this. It's my house.
Like this is bullshit. And then you're going to make Shannon feel bad when you go
inside because we have to go to this pizza party now, which I thought was going to be funny
because it was so awkward and uncomfortable.
But instead, you legitimately made it like uncomfortable.
Like I was not happy watching it.
I felt weird. You're acting weird as shit.
Everybody's trying to say like, hey, we need to be able to talk about this.
Like this is kind of how the show works. And you're shutting literally everything down.
And then and people wonder what.
I always have something to say about religion.
Again, don't have an issue with you.
If you're a good person and you follow the book and all of that good stuff,
this is not directed at you.
So don't take this personally.
This is not an attack like that.
Which book?
The book.
The Psalms or something.
Yeah.
But when you have the outbursts you do, you're an asshole to everybody there.
Somehow you're trying to play the victim in this whole thing.
And then you want to slam dunk it with.
I want to get dinner done and go to bed.
I want to pray and read my Bible.
You are the people that piss me the fuck off when it comes to religion because you've been shitty all day and you want to play the victim and go absolve yourself in your bedroom with your Bible.
Fuck off.
Probably.
Like unbelievable.
Yeah.
Actually kind of believable.
It's annoying.
I mean, it is funny now discussing it, but the end of that night is, is, it is.
incredibly funny. Like everybody's just standing around.
Shannon just trying to help in any way that she
I thought she was funny actually. I look, I'm going to go
put my pajamas on and I'll be right back. What can I do? What do you need?
What do you need?
Shut up. Shut up. Shut up. Shut up. All right. Okay. Then the three of them just
like like it must have been it was uncomfortable watching it through the screen. I can only
imagine what they were like and like Mike comes home, slams the door. He goes right in the
He stares at the door goes.
Big tie.
Yeah.
Oh my God.
What's going on there?
Like they were,
they must have been so much more uncomfortable than what it conveyed through the screen to.
They're looking around like,
should we just leave?
Yeah.
I think I think we should all just get the fuck out of here.
Okay.
Let's get the hell out of here.
Everybody good?
All right.
We're out of here.
Good.
So the fallout,
unfortunately won't be funny.
There is a world in which that fallout is very funny.
But I don't think it's going to be that funny.
I think it's just going to be more of the same and more annoying.
I agree because I think it's going to be way too serious.
And I think like this scene,
her going out and telling production to get out,
like if we just break this down like fundamentally to like
the structure of the scene,
this should be funny.
This should be a fun moment where it's like,
oh man,
she's kicking production out too and like everyone's leaving.
But instead it was like this bizarreo alternate reality in which I was like
at this home seems empty and dark.
and I don't want to be here anymore.
I don't like the vibes of this place at all.
Now I have questions about Michael,
because that was a weird response to this whole thing.
What's going on?
Guys, get your shit and get the,
go stay in Al-Lakinta, in Laquinta.
Like, get out of there for the love of God.
But yeah, just kind of crazy.
Yeah.
That's got some questions.
Yep, let's see what they have to say.
From J-Bay the Hut 7-1-3.
Is Bravo having buyer's remorse with Vicky?
Yeah, I think they are.
I think it's tough.
Double-land.
made two shows she's not showing up for either of them she's checked out of ultimate girl's trip at
this point four episodes in she's checked out pretty much entirely of OC which is where she was
supposed to be going back it's got to be tough if you're in that control room yep I agree
uh Janice Ingram 360 is Gina holding onto this real estate like a real estate deal like a dog with a bone
let it go she can't it's a combination of it's the only thing that she can really talk about
that gives her some life but also she is very
very insecure about that.
Yep.
I agree. Janice Ingram 360.
This is just to the
to the point.
And like I'll actually,
you ask two and they're both pertinent.
So Janice Sangram 360 up first.
Who cares what's in Carmel's pantry?
And maybe she doesn't watch TV.
Exactly. That's the extent of like what we need to talk about in regards to that.
That's such a non thing that only this show would push.
Her second question,
I will always highlight these.
Although I did give Shannon some flowers as I
episode. Did we really need another clumsy fake moment from Shannon climbing into the jacuzzi?
I think not. Yeah, that drove me nuts. But everything, I thought that she was actually fine this
episode that the kitchen scene, her in the kitchen scene was the only part. I was like,
that's kind of like tossing the pizza up and like, yeah, have you tried this pizza sauce?
There was like, what the fuck are you doing? I don't know. I don't know. We're going to cut the tension.
I don't know. Leave me. That was funny. Yeah, that was funny. From Just for Me underscore TV.
if Gina's not using Heather for real estate connects,
then why is she upset that Heather's not?
That's a good point.
We went through that for about 10 episodes
a couple years ago.
Then we wouldn't shut the fuck up about it.
And now you're upset about it.
You don't get it both ways.
This is a good point.
Lisa,
more 925.
So Vicki's really putting the nail in the OC coffin,
huh?
That might be the funniest outcome of this whole thing,
is that they don't hail Mary
to have Vicki inject life back into this franchise.
is actually going to be the reason
that finally gets put on pause.
And they actually address some of the issues.
So wait, you know what?
You could say
she saved it.
It was successful. Yeah.
Because she forced them to actually make a change.
Well, let's not get ahead of ourselves here.
They might just roll the same gas back.
I need something in my life.
I know.
I need some kind of glimmer of hope
to get through this shit.
From Angie Banji,
can we ask sports related questions instead
this show sucks.
Sure.
What do you got?
You can always do that for a
no, no.
It was just a preemptive question.
Maybe next week we'll have an
an Angie Banji sports question.
We'll answer it.
Yeah.
We'll always answer sports.
I know.
From Josephine
Ms. M. Robinson.
Sorry about that.
Why do they constantly
make up stuff to fight about?
Because they're
lives have nothing going on and they have to make things up to fight about that that's it this is
supposed to be a real show but they have nothing going on or they're being very protective over
the things going on in their lives and we get little dropping comments from tamara saying that any
wanted a divorce last week but we're not going to talk about that we're just going to talk about miss juicy
whatever i don't even fucking care anymore but yeah there's nothing going on for them to do not
to mention like obviously in other shows housewives southern charm all shows like obviously
people make things up. Obviously, there's fabricated moments, fake rumors.
Yep.
We don't see people sitting confessionals and just free ball.
Yeah, maybe is this.
Maybe it's that.
I don't know.
I'm going to go with that.
I'm going to take that that I just came up with in front of all of you on camera.
I'm going to take that turn it into fact and I'm going to throw it at Vicki.
Yeah, that's probably what happened.
There we go on what, dude, based on what?
What?
Yeah.
I don't, oh, God damn.
I don't know, man.
Let's just answer one more and let's move on with our lives.
Yeah.
I don't even know if I have one more.
Oh, this is a funny one.
Robert Taylor, writer of stuff.
I have no questions aside from who allowed this in all caps.
That's funny.
The network, dude.
I don't know.
I don't know who allowed this.
But they should get fired.
Crazy, crazy.
But the best part, and this is like to, I'll actually finish on.
this because this goes
to what we were talking about in the beginning of the
episode for those either like
why do you guys still watch
because of this
Shoshi Davis. Appreciate you guys
still trying to cover this dumpster fire
but I had to press the eject
button. We have another one that says
love the hate watch commentary
not watching. So like
that's why.
We do it. For the few of you that are like
when they're mean, sorry
but for the rest of you, this is why
we do it.
But, God, dude, what.
The one thing, though, that I was thinking, like, wow, taking notes.
And you said it earlier as well, and then we'll wrap it up.
I was excited to hate watch this one and, like, talk about it.
Like, I'm going to feel way better.
And, like, this one, we just need to go full throttle.
We've been tiptoe.
Like, no, let's rip the band-aid off.
The show fucking stinks.
Yeah, you got to do it.
But that's all I got.
You got anything else?
Nope, I'll get here.
That's our show.
Brow Brothers are out of here.

And we're the hosts of True Crime Campfire.
We set out to make a True Crime podcast we'd want to listen to.
We get right to the story.
We don't do a lot of extra talk in, and when we do, it's usually to run.
roast the short hairs off of some loser murderer or scammer. You'll laugh, but only at the people who deserve it.
Like, which serial killer would you most like to shove into a locker?
BTK and is awful poetry. Dude got caught because he didn't understand what a floppy disk was.
We look for the stranger than fiction stories, like the case of Patty James, a killer catfish before the internet was even a thing.
Or Howard Walmsley, a sentient wad of damp laundry who convinced his town he'd won the lottery,
fleeced local businesses out of thousands and then became a romance scammer.
We've covered tons of cases you've never heard of, cults, scammers, killers.
So come find your next great binge.
Listen to True Crime Campfire on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, or wherever you get your podcasts.
New episodes every Friday.
