Bros & Shows - Where You See a Fun Show, We See SLC Warning Signs (RHUGT Full Recap S5E3)
Episode Date: August 26, 2026What's up bros?? The Road Trip keeps on truckin' so to speak even though we're still in BH but how lucky are we that Kyle saved the White Party for us?? While the BH storyline seems to be Mo centric a...long with some drop ins from previous housewives; it seems SLC might be an issue. We were really hoping this would just be a nice Bravo reprieve full of nostalgia but as soon as the SLC ladies show up, it's clear that this next season will be a full blown gang up attack on Lisa and that does not sound fun. Let's hope that this is just a hot button issue that'll pass but we know better so please excuse us as we get hung up on that this episode Learn more about your ad choices. This is by far,
and not that there's any
tough comparisons here,
but by far the best
ultimate girls trip ever.
And my big hope,
it's like I've been saying
in the last couple of episodes we've covered,
I think there might be a world
in which this does kind of rejuvenate
some of these Housefight franchises.
If they actually,
maybe that's what we got to do.
Andy,
you've got to call all of the Housewives
and say you must watch Ultimate Girls Trip,
road trip or you are off your show.
Force them to watch this and actually
pay attention.
Yeah, that's not going to happen.
You also called it road trip, which is funny.
It is ultimately road trip.
Is it really called road trip?
Yeah.
Wow, I didn't even notice that.
I think, yes,
I think that the women on this show
and individually, they will go back to their
group and it'll be like one of those situations
where it's like, wow, I could have it so much
better than I currently have it with my
own cast.
Like aside from Giselle and Portia, which we see in this episode a lot, everyone else is
kind of fucked.
Like, oh, I got to go home to my cast.
I hate my cast.
My cast sucks.
My show sucks.
And then Giselle and Porsche are just sitting there like, I can't believe they do this shit.
I can't believe they do these things.
This doesn't make any sense.
They get to go home to a good cast that they have good control over.
Everyone else is like, wow, I could have it so much better, couldn't I?
No, you can't because you're going to go back and no one's going to pay attention.
And it's just going to be the same stuff.
If this episode is any indication, I,
I am kind of scared for Salt Lake City.
Salt Lake.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Same vibe.
As there's a drive in a deep left field by Castellanos.
Oh man, it's 8 o'clock.
And so that'll make it a...
I don't need the spotlight.
I shine just fine.
Hi, I'm karma.
And yes, I am a bitch.
Brov Bros.
Good evening, everybody, and welcome back to another episode of Brow Brows,
your favorite podcast from the Bros for everybody,
for whoever wants to...
Listen, I am your co-host, Steel Russell, joined as always by the one and only, the man himself,
Ultimate Goots Trip.
What's up, dude?
Got like a triangular shadow on my face right now.
I can't figure.
Oh, you do.
It's just the hat.
It is the hat.
Yeah, your head is a triangle.
It's morphing.
Animorphs.
I mean, upside down.
Yeah.
Not that crazy.
Not that crazy.
Yeah, this is a very enjoyable show.
I think this is the easiest watch show in terms of Ultimate Girl's Trip and also
let's on right now because you don't really have to pay attention.
It's all nostalgia, obviously, as we talked about before.
But we're finally getting to that tipping point where we're starting to see a few of them
are getting annoyed with each other.
You're starting to see the honey being poured in certain people's ears regarding another
castmate from another castmate on the show.
I'm going to ruin that for me forever.
Do we not say honey in the ear?
Who ruined it more?
Lala or
what's his face with Michelle?
Yeah, probably
Oh shit, Aaron?
Yeah, Aaron, I think too gross honey guys.
Yeah, but Aaron made honey funny
again because we made a lot of honey jokes
and Jesse still makes funny honey jokes.
I just like saying funny honey.
Yeah, me too.
The Lala thing, yeah, you're right.
I wouldn't have remembered that.
I think I did like kind of suppress that.
So it was that on top of the fact.
that we had to refer to that man as the Don.
The Don.
The Don.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
That definitely didn't work out too well.
But either way, we're starting to see that turn, which we typically do see.
And this is the structure that we laid out, especially with Ultimate Girl's Trip.
Now, I don't know if they're all, we stopped watching them.
So I don't know how many episodes the other Ultimate Girl's Trip seasons are.
But this one's nine.
So it's going to have a little bit of a different feel to it.
Obviously, they're doing it under the guise of it being a celebration.
Everywhere we go is going to be so much fun.
We're going to relive those past moments.
but inevitably when you put housewives together regardless of what cast they're from
they're going to get on each other's nerves because they do things differently i mean we see
them do that in their own cast if you start doing the cross mingling they're going to piss each
other off and we're starting to see a lot of that i thought maybe vicky would kind of chill out a
little bit after last episode nah now she ramped it up lou ann is luan and i look hey we'll talk
about that that's kind of funny but i think the main takeaway from me was portia and jazelle sitting down
and just kind of given the lay of the land.
Like, what, what is going on?
What do these other women do on these shows?
And Giselle did her homework.
She knows what's going on and she knows what she's doing on the show.
Portia hasn't watched an ounce of any of the other shows.
And I can tell you right now.
And I love that.
I love that for her.
I love her for that.
But yeah,
they're going to start getting on each other's nerves and things are going to start to creep in there.
I just don't know.
Atlanta next week with Heather being there is kind of irking me already.
That's kind of where we're going.
a wrench. That could throw a wrench in the vibe. It could ruin the whole fucking show.
No, let's be honest. No, because she's only there for one. And I,
I know, but it could throw us off base so bad. Exactly. That's what's going to happen.
Inevitably, she's going to do some shit. That's going to leak into the following episodes,
and it's going to piss off LB. And then Whitney's going to piss off somebody at this part.
Like, yes, something's going to happen. But for the time being, we're in a good spot. It is,
just like all the nostalgia.
And this is kind of a bummer because we're at Kyle's white party, obviously.
And going through all of the iconic moments in Beverly Hills, we have so many of the
OGs there, which is pretty cool.
But it's just a reminder, for me, at least, where it's like, wow, look how far you've
fallen.
Look at yourself in the mirror.
Look at all of these just fantastic moments that we get to sit here and relive.
And now look at where we are today.
I know.
I forget if it was Camille or Adrian that said, I feel like reality TV and scripted television
are two different things that we were talking about Adrian.
But when we get into it, like the things people will do to remain relevant, that gave me
a very big pause for concern because I think that is exactly what's going on.
that's the exact issue with reality TV as a whole,
but more importantly,
with Housewives,
is not only are they worried about their own shit,
with their own little businesses and their own singing careers,
which, by the way,
I'm going to need a shooter disclaimer for these shows.
If you're going to run an entire fucking montage of all the Housewives trying to sing,
you need to let me know that's happening.
That was so long.
It was so,
and like it was funny at one point,
but it just kept going.
And then by the time we got to Ashley,
like,
please stop.
I think that's probably why you hated it as much,
because they ended it with Ashley Darby.
Yeah.
I mean,
that's the thing is I can put them all in different categories.
Like, Luann will never bother me because I find it super funny when she does things.
But you get to Ashley,
you get to whoever else was doing it.
I think I've actually already blacked it out.
So you're going to make me relive it.
And that's like reliving trauma.
So that's on you.
When we get to that,
when you make me relive that trauma,
that's on you.
I will.
I have to talk about that later.
But,
yeah,
you got to give me a disclaimer.
I can't sit there and listen.
Especially when I have headphones in and I've got like the
the noise cancelling,
noise suppressing,
and that's all I'm hearing.
Like,
it rattled into my brain.
That's a big issue.
That's like an earwig.
Exactly.
That's the point.
And then you go listen to the songs.
You just can't get out of your head because they're so damn catchy.
No.
No.
Yeah.
Absolutely not.
No.
It's bringing in my ears still.
It was,
it was Eileen Davidson,
I believe,
that was talking about people do to stay on screen and the reality versus
scripted TV and all that.
She seemed to,
I don't know.
she seems to have something in her back pocket.
Like she knows something or is aware of something.
I'm not entirely sure.
Or maybe she's just commenting on the current state of Beverly Hills
where she's like, yeah, it's amazing what people do to stay on TV.
Like you guys keep.
I do wonder.
I mean, obviously, like you can point out a couple of people from a lineup.
Like you absolutely still watch this show and you're like very in tune with all the things
going on because you have this delusion, which made you a good housewife,
but you also have this delusion that they're going to tap you in for the next season.
they all do wonder
you think all of them because I I wonder
I think they all have that where like
ooh maybe I'll get tapped in I think the ones
that are keeping up with the show
I would say Camille's watching
Denise probably
checks in and out depending what's going on
I doubt Denise watches anything
I Denise definitely watches some weird shit
yeah like she's
she strikes me as
either it's incredibly trashy TV
or she always has like the
nature channel on one of those two things but nothing in between yeah yeah nothing in
between not even documentaries just like maybe planet earth rainforest sounds all the time
oh just that like the Samsung TV like generic channels which is like fish yeah god he loves
those because watch the fish watch the fish and so does Denise apparently oh that's funny but
I mean we hit a lot of tropes we'll kind of fumble through this party a little bit obviously
white party's been around since 2004.
It came about, and this, I knew this is going to be a thing this episode.
I know.
It was originally planned to celebrate both Mo and Alexia's birthday.
That's how the white party started.
It turned into something much bigger.
I forgot that we did.
I think I blocked that season out of my brain, but the white party at Sofi.
At L.A.
Yeah, dude, that whole season, I have big question.
Oh, man.
I have completely forgotten all of it.
it's incredibly funny too because I had the same thought not only did I forget about the white party
and I had that thought I'm like wow did I really just try to gloss over all of it and just move on with my life yes I did
because we circle back during that segment that I just talked about that I hated we get to see Erica Jane perform like oh yeah she performed that thing I don't remember anything from that season at all
I don't think that was that was a legal woman oh that was the last good thing that's ever happened it's the last good thing that happened we always forget it
Oh, man. Sparrow. No.
Oh, fuck. Eagle Woman and every year.
Every year. Every year. Every year. Yeah. I think we, honestly, I think we do it twice a year.
We talk about Eagle Woman again, because we have to talk about Beverly Hills so much, that is the last time that we ever had fun.
That's the last time that we ever had fun of Beverly Hills was Eagle Woman. So that's why we remember it.
It's not because our brains are stupid. We know our brains. What is it? Did you just look it up?
I just found a Reddit.
And it's it's titled, this is the first thing of, I wrote Eagle Woman, Real Houseways of Beverly Hills.
The first thing that pops up as a Reddit thread.
Eagle Woman is a known grifter.
By the way, the name of the article, normalizing casual racism, question mark.
Eaglewoman is a known grifter.
She's claimed Native American ancestry.
There's unproven and dubious and claims to have native wisdom.
I think you can speak on that.
We just did a whole segment about your family and Native American.
history. So what do you have to say about? I mean, I would prefer that people are not using my culture
to try and swindle people out of money, especially she has no ties to any Native American
tribes or culture. That's pretty fucked. I feel like we've gone through enough. You know,
they're still living on reservations right now. I don't know if you've been to a reservation
lately. They're not great. Lately? So yeah, lately. What do you mean? I haven't been to one in the
No, that was the general you.
The general you.
I don't know if you guys have seen what's going on at reservations, but it's not good.
Like, I'll show you this.
Hold on.
Oh, here we go.
Did you find out the sidekick's name?
Like this.
I bought this.
This supports and helps fund because I don't know if you guys know this, but human trafficking
is a major issue with Native Americans because people drive.
under reservations and literally scoop people up.
So that's to raise awareness, the red hand print and raise money so that they have resources
to try and find people that have been taken from reservations.
So all of that to say from somebody that is involved, if she is a grifter and faking it,
go fuck yourself, Eagle Woman.
All of that to say, Blue Raven.
That's it.
Blue Raven.
Hell yeah.
What he got there.
That tangent out of everything.
Yeah, that was a serious.
funny all they get
hit every note there this reddit thread though is
is fucking hilarious so if you guys are bored
I'd want to dive back into a little eagle woman
just type in normalizing casual racism
eagle woman Beverly Hills
oh man does that mean we can't make reference to eagle woman
anymore
no because we're
now it just takes a different
turn because before we were doing it
quote unquote respectfully not really
now we can really just shit on her
now it's a no whole car
is shitting on her.
I don't know.
That takes everything away from me because, you know, how I feel about, like, on-screen
therapists and, you know, crystals and things that help you.
He actually had a spiritual connection as you were special.
I mean, this just makes me not believe in anything anymore.
It's like now an atheist.
It's like I'm a child that just got his ice cream taken away.
I am very upset right now.
I'm so sorry.
I didn't mean, I didn't mean to get us here.
But, hey, blame Eagle Woman.
and Blue Raven for not holding her accountable.
Blue Raven,
we should have seen this coming, though,
because when I looked it up,
Blue Raven's name is Nancy.
So, I mean,
she's just a white woman in California.
That's what they both sound like white women in California.
Oh, boy.
Yeah, I could talk about this for a very long time.
But all that to say,
fuck a eagle woman and Blue Raven is the sidekick.
Now, that was all in reference to the last white party
that we saw at So if I stated,
just to get us back on track a little bit here.
Thank you.
And the funny part to me,
and I knew we were going to have to do it,
the Mo Kyle stuff is just like,
it's reached this point now where,
and I'm not like,
oh, God, get it off my screen.
It's more so just,
oh, man,
this is kind of hard to watch now
because we know full well
that if it was up to Kyle,
they would be back together.
And you can't convince me.
Yeah.
Well, we know that,
and we've talked about that at length,
The problem with me is they just keep pouring it on.
And I think what I'm doing, especially for this season for this show,
is it's almost like a look into what's going on
and what's going to happen in the next season of their respective franchises.
Now, I'll pull like Porsche out of that because we just finished Atlanta.
And I guess Vicky out of that as well,
because we already know what we're going to get with OC and it's very boring.
But when you look into it and we'll talk more about Salt Lake City later
as it becomes relevant, with Kyle and Mo, are we still doing this?
like that's going to be her storyline again we know mo is just moving on and we already kind of
hypothesized that maybe later down the line 10 years they'll get back together when mo had his
little fun and he was able to run around and do whatever and kyle's still at home waiting for him
they'll probably get back together but we don't have to do it as dramatic as they've been doing it
i know that this is a different show but it's really not everybody knows who kyle is beverly hills
is your highest rated show for god knows what reason i i can't explain that one but everybody
knows what's going on with Kyle and Mel, we do not have to drum up the sad songs and the sad
stories talking about the anniversary, showing them back in 2004 laying on the float in the
pool and kissing. It's just enough. It's over. We're done with it. Let's move on and make Kyle
find a different storyline because I can't keep doing this. It cracks me up that I'm watching this show
strictly from this show standpoint. Yeah. Right. I'm keeping it ultimate girl's trip.
Every time we talk about something, you're like, oh, what does this mean for this?
Kyle's going to do this in this show.
Lisa's got to take this over there.
Look, it's good that we're both watching here
from two different vantage points.
Usually it's reversed.
Usually you stay to what we're watching.
And I, this is nice.
It's nice not being concerned about how it's going to affect the actual franchise.
It's really just this episode.
And it's also, I remember how we felt at the end of Salt Lake City last year and the discussions
we had and how it could go in the wrong direction and it could get bad very quickly.
when I see it in this episode
I'm like oh fuck we were right
that's kind of disheartening
and I know we're right
and I know what this season's gonna be
I hope it's gonna be something different
but then it bleeds into the other things
now Beverly Hills obviously is
unfortunately at the top of my brain
at all times I don't know why
I just can't seem to shake it
I think it's like our OG show
yeah it's I would liken it to like
you're an athlete coming back
and preseason yeah you're really happy
in the beginning but you are
just miserable for the rest of it.
You just want to get to the season.
You just want to, in our lives, we just want to get Beverly Hills over with.
And I know it's going to come back.
It always comes back sooner than you expect.
We'll have to get through Salt Lake City and New York in the meantime and then hope for the best
with other shows.
But Beverly Hills is always on the horizon.
So that's kind of where we are.
So that's why it bleeds into that.
And when we're talking about Mo and Kyle, I know it's a different show.
And I know that they're maybe thinking like, all right, we've got different watchers.
maybe we've got people who only watch Atlanta.
Maybe we've got people that only watch Salt Lake City that are watching this and like,
oh, yeah, what is going on with Kyle and Mo?
Oh, that's what's going on.
But in my heart of hearts, I know that everybody knows what's going on with Kyle and
Mel, and they know what's going on.
So it just tells me that's what we're going to do next season.
And that's why I get upset.
No, that's fair.
And I think that, yeah, if you watch Bravo or follow any Bravo accounts whatsoever,
you know what's going on with Kyle and Moe because they shove it down our throat.
Nothing has changed, by the way.
It's just Kyle kind of fawning over him.
And, you know, you see little.
signs frequently, like the way she talks to them, you know, when she's like, she does like
subtle physical contact. I don't know if you see that like hand on the shoulder, like just
all that little stuff. I've seen it for four years now. Yeah, I know exactly what it is the same.
But it is funny that, you know, and I don't know if it's when we get to the city, the tropes come out
or if it's just always going to come out. But like, you know, Doret catching astray was
really fucking funny. It's kind of a weak move. She's not.
there but she obviously catches astray when Kyle's like posing for a picture.
This is the thing.
She was invited.
So if you turned down an invite, you open yourself up to that, unfortunately.
So here's what I might take.
I was referring to her early on taking a shot at Derreet with the picture where she did
like the Derreet pose.
That was the cheap shot.
When we get to the next one, I do have a theory on that one too.
But it's very similar, very coded with LVP.
You know, we get these weird random.
quotes or drop-ins where she takes some random dig at LVP.
It's like one of season, but they come out of nowhere.
It felt like that.
And that to me, that one did give me cause for pause, if you will,
because now I'm like, oh, God, I could barely make it through another season of Beverly Hills.
But if it's another Doreet season of Beverly Hills, like, shoot me.
It also, it just shines a light on certain things.
like, I enjoy
and I'm going to enjoy
watching the Atlanta flashbacks
in the next two episodes.
Because Atlanta's still a good show
and it's still fun.
Beverly Hills,
all of their flashbacks is
LVP, Lisa Rina.
Those are the last times
that we actually had fun on this show.
Those are your iconic things.
We are so far away.
I think if anything,
what we're doing now,
yes, I know it's a celebration
of everything going on,
but we're also shining a big light
on O.C. and Beverly Hills
and saying,
here's all the iconic things.
Like, yes,
I do want to,
relive those moments from season one through
seven or eight. But when
you start getting into it, like all we've seen
past what season nine or ten,
I guess, because nine, yeah, after
like nine or ten, was
Crystal with the leather pants?
Like, really?
That's what we have. I think
Eric and Jane talking about like Tom
or like the car flip and the snow
and LA, like those things.
And then I mean,
what, Bravo, Bravo. That's it.
fucking Bravo was
that was right in the middle.
Season 11, season 12.
So that's the hardest that we got.
I think that.
And then the Tom Gerardy car flip would have been 13 or 14.
Yeah, but even that was like,
it was a funny moment, but that season.
Funny moment in a bad season.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Like the last time that they had a really good iconic season.
Like that's,
and I know they're not trying to do this, obviously.
But it's funny when you get that mix of all the flashbacks.
It's funny also that now we're in episode three and we're like really hammering into these episodes.
It's like, hey, it was a good time.
Yeah, I think it's because it's Beverly Hills.
It pulls those emotions out of us right away.
But yeah, I think that that's a funny byproduct that maybe Bravo didn't think about.
Like, oh, wow, there's going to be a really big group of people that still watch or understand what's going on in Beverly Hills and hate it.
And we're going to show them the good times of Beverly Hills that we will never get again.
So have fun, guys.
That's a great time.
that's exactly what it did for me i'm sure a lot of people watching had the same exact feeling uh the
one thing i will say when it comes to iconic moments adrian maloof washing the chicken with soap
don't wash your chicken guys no yeah it actually is far more detrimental and will cause
you to get sick because if you hit the chicken with a stream of water from the faucet it's going
to spray and now you're spraying contaminants all
over your kitchen. It's far safer to just cook the chicken. So that always heads up in my comments on
99% cooking clubs. Like, oh, you didn't wash your chicken. I'm like, oh, God, guys, let's stop washing
chicken. It's dangerous to wash the chicken. People still do that. I thought that was only,
I thought that only popped up during COVID because people thought that unwashed chicken had COVID on it.
No, I wasn't going to get killed by the heat. Yeah, it was. It definitely was. I thought that's where
it came from, though. That's my point. Yeah. So don't do that, guys. It's actually more dangerous to wash your
chicken because you're going to get your counter dirty.
But as we're kind of trudging along here, you know, I do like the, the groups that we're getting.
I think portion Giselle is delightful.
I love that Giselle is fully clocked in because we do need one person in a show like this to be
present and accounted for and like, all right, well, what's going on?
What can I start?
What can I kind of push and prod?
Joselle is the perfect person for that.
And it's a different error than like, you know, when we saw our.
Thailand, right, with the tequila bottle because she didn't have anybody to like step up with her.
Like that wasn't a cast.
That was like, you know, Heather and a few others are just going to derail everything.
But with this cast, Whitney, exactly.
With this one, you have good cast members.
Like, Portia is going to sit there and be like, all right, I like this.
Like, I wasn't planning on scheming, but let's scheme.
What can we do with this?
And I love those two, just kind of like waiting for their moment.
Like, ooh, didn't know that was going on in Salt Lake.
now granted I think it's going to bum me out when we start to dig into the Salt Lake stuff
because it's going to just be and I wasn't thinking this way until you fucking said it.
Yeah, I'm all pissed off.
Yeah, that's on you.
It's going to highlight like, oh shit, this is what we have to look forward to this season.
I know.
That's the bad thing about being in limbo between seasons.
We don't really know what's going on.
You hear a lot of rumors, which has died down a lot if you've noticed.
I don't know if you noticed that.
But that was a big issue that we had was all the bloggers.
Like, you'll never believe.
what's going, I don't care. I want to watch it.
Stop telling me what's going on in August when the show doesn't actually premiere until
December. But that's either here nor there. It's funny when I go through because again,
I think it just takes a few episodes where the charm of, oh, this is a good time, kind of wears
off and I want to dig into things. When I'm looking at the cast as a whole, I need people
to fucking step up. Like, Giselle is kind of doing that thing right now where she's doing her job.
and Vicky is literally doing her job and her other job at the same time,
and that's a big issue apparently.
But Luanne is Luan, so she's too aloof to really understand what's going on.
She's just going to be herself, which is great.
LB is just happy to be there.
She's happy to be in a group that isn't just going after her.
Marisa is MIA, no clue where the fuck she is.
She barely gets any screen time.
I need more from her.
And now I'm starting to look at everyone.
Like, hey, step up, do something.
I know where we've got things built in like the white party and we're going to have, you know,
the appeal.
of older people from Beverly Hills
coming back into the fold to see what's going on.
But as soon as they start talking, I don't want to hear from them anymore.
I know what you're doing.
You're trying to audition for a job.
So just have fun and be yourself and talk about your iconic moments.
Sure.
But don't start talking about what's going on with Doreep.
What's going on with Kyle?
That's not your lane anymore.
I don't need that anymore.
I want the actual people on shows to do their job.
I need you guys to have good moments.
And I don't mean Bronwyn and Whitney showing up to this party.
we'll get right back to the rest of our episode but first we'll take a quick little ad break and get back to the action
this episode is sponsored by vinted i feel like we all have that section of our closet filled with clothes that we keep telling ourselves that we're gonna wear again i promise we're definitely gonna wear that shirt again
even though it didn't really fit that well even though i didn't really get any compliments or it still has the tags on it and i actually
never wore it but i have an idea that i might wear it and i've been trying to be better about cleaning out my closet
it and Vinted makes it really easy to actually do something with the stuff that I'm not wearing.
Vinted is a secondhand marketplace app where you can sell your clothes you no longer wear and make
some extra money while giving those pieces a second life. And the thing I really like about Vinted is
how simple the selling process is because it could be a headache. A lot of those other sites are
very, very stressful. But all you have to do is list your item. And when it sells, Vinted creates
the prepaid shipping label for you. So you don't have to do all that stuff yourself. Plus, there's
no seller fees. So you keep everything you earn. And the Vinted app is free to download, which makes
it really easy to just start listing some of those pieces that you have sitting in your closet
day after day. Honestly, it's a great feeling to clear out some of that space, get some extra
money along the way, and then you use that money toward refreshing your wardrobe. Maybe it's
some pieces that you'll actually wear this time around. Ready to clean out your closet and make some
extra money, download the Vinted app for free and start listing. With no seller fees, you keep
every dollar you earn. Give your clothes a second life with Vinted.
The war is over and both sides lost.
Kingdoms were reduced to cinders, an army scattered like bones in the dust.
Now the survivors claw to what's left of a broken world, praying the darkness chooses someone else tonight.
But in the shadow dark, the darkness always wins.
This is old-school adventuring at its most cruel.
Your torch ticks down in real time, and when that flame dies, something
else rises to finish the job. This is a brutal rules light nightmare with a story that
emerges organically based on the decisions that the characters make. This is what it felt like
to play RPGs in the 80s and man, it is so good to be back. Join the Glass Cannon podcast

Yeah, Vicky, I...
I'm fully off.
I know you're holding out hope.
I'm completely off the Vicky train.
And in my perspective,
yeah, the work thing is funny once.
Now it's like, all right, but you're on this trip.
Like, I need you to get involved.
I need you to put your phone down and stop talking about insurance
because it's, it's a good schick one time.
And then you do it.
And now you're hammering at home.
But I'm okay with the stick being in the middle of a conversation
that has nothing to do with insurance,
trying to shoe hoard it in there.
But her actively working is pretty fucking stupid.
I'll be honest about that.
The other things I'm fine with because it is okay to have clashing personalities here and there.
And if you want to go against Luann, like that's completely fine by me too.
But then talking about working and that's the issue is the fact that you have a job to do while you're doing your other job.
That's where you lose me.
Yeah, I agree.
But I also agree with you.
When it comes to Luanne, this is probably my favorite.
kind of Luan, where, you know, she, and she should always do this, but she thinks that she is just
such a star. And the way that she carries herself, the way that she comes on stage, the way that she
does just everything from that lens is by far in a way, my favorite Luan, because it's like,
is she that superstar? No. But to me, she is. Does that make sense? Like, in this world that
we live in Bravo. It's like, yeah, you, you know what? You are a fucking superstar. You're Luann De LaSapps. You're like, Countess. Get up there and sing. Like, I don't know. It's just the charm of it. I don't think we'll ever wear out. Like, I'm always just kind of like, oh, this is fun. Like, I love Lou. Now, do you think it was Kyle's idea with Luann to do this or to Bravo kind of step in. They're like, hey, this would be funny if we just have Luan do a one-woman show or at least performer song and fly in on our wings and everything. I, because I want, I think Kyle does have that side to her, which we've seen a little bit.
of in the last couple of episodes where maybe she thought it was going to be funny like all right
yeah whatever let's just get luan in here and we'll have her fly in and perform a song it's
going to piss some people off i know what's going on with her and erika that's going to be an issue
it's going to bother a lot of other people it's going to be cringy but it's going to be good for the show
i think kyle has the right mind for that and it doesn't matter either way honestly
it's just something i was thinking about but yeah i i'm okay with luan being luan she's
one of the people on the cast like obviously jazelle and porcia really bringing it and that's
good for me. But Luann is just
going to be herself and that's always going to be
fun. Yeah, it always hits
especially when you have it juxtaposed to
a Vicky. But I did
thoroughly enjoy the Eric and Jane
Luan thing. I knew that they had their beef
on stage. I didn't know it was going on either
between those two and I'd forgotten
about it and then we brought it up. I was like, oh yeah,
what happened with this and we get the rundown?
This was fucking hilarious.
Yeah. Because
Luan tries, goes up,
Erica kind of cold shoulders her, but
as Kyle said, like the hello from Luann was not great.
But when they finally do hash it out, she's like, you know, you probably had a good time.
Crickets.
She's like, do you remember what I was going through?
And I was like, oh, shit.
Yeah, wait.
Yeah, this wasn't just like the easy Erica Jane cop out where it's like, you know how difficult
my life was.
Right.
I don't have any time for you.
It was a very apparent, very like perfectly situated issue.
My life was falling apart.
You wanted me to call you back after a dinner to say how much fun I had.
It was happening right then and there.
It happened like a day or two after that.
No, I'm not reaching back out.
I'm not responding to you because I have all of this going on,
which is very well documented.
And I,
in a weird way,
and Eric has kind of changed a little bit,
obviously,
as she's kind of spaced herself from all of that shit that went down.
She has a good way of articulating her feelings and also where she's coming from
as opposed to what we've seen in the past where it's just like,
I don't have fucking have time for you.
I don't want to do this.
So it was nice to see that.
And the oh shit moment that Luann had, like,
ah, even I knew what was going on there.
And I don't really keep track of anything.
So my bad.
Okay.
I'm glad we did this.
Good.
I'm happy we got resolution there because it's an issue that doesn't really matter either way,
because they're not really going to cross paths aside from BravoCon.
So the fact that we were able to get the skinny on everything that happens,
hear it from both sides and get resolution all within about like four or five minutes.
Perfect.
that's what I want.
Plus,
in the back of my head,
I'm like,
I want them to be cool
because they both,
I'll give Erica Jane props.
I think that she,
as far as a singer goes,
is a better singer.
I think Luann's a better showman.
I think that we can,
you know,
say that.
That's fair.
I want to think that they're always good
because I,
in my heart of hearts,
would love to see,
and I would never say this
about 99% of Bravo performers,
but I would love to see a Luan,
and an Erica Jane mashup on stage.
That would make me very happy.
Bravo Khan, maybe.
Bravo Khan,
2027.
Yeah, that would be awesome.
I think that everybody would like that.
But yeah,
we've been tiptoeing around it.
We do unfortunately have to dip a toe in the Salt Lake because...
It wasn't even a lot.
Like, this is my problem.
It was just enough that Whitney and Bromwin came in
and immediately started doing what Whitney and Bromwell
would do on the heels of Lisa Barlow saying,
I didn't know I was capable of having this much fun with a group of women because I don't
have fun on my own show.
And they immediately start doing the shit that they're probably doing on the current season
of Salt Lake that they've done for the last two years.
Bromwin's a free woman.
We get one little drop in too, by the way.
This also piss me off.
One little drop in like, hey, cheers the divorce.
Oh, yeah, you're right.
You would do yourself good if you would talk more about that.
I know we're saving it for the season, but you would do yourself good if you had like one or two more sentences talking about Todd and your divorce and where you are.
Talk about yourself.
This is the problem with Salt Lake and this is what the problem with Salt Lake has been.
It's immediately, ah, yeah, you know, Whitney, she's probably separated from Justin.
Bronwyn is divorcing Todd.
We get there.
We have a one second line about cheers to your divorce.
Now let's talk about Lisa.
It's such a glaring fucking issue and it's been a glaring issue.
we've endured in the hopes that maybe Lisa can have some teammates.
Meredith is wherever the fuck.
She will never be her teammate.
She's a teammate in like physical form.
She will not speak up.
Yeah.
Like she's not really there.
She doesn't really care what's going on.
That's the problem.
And to go from Lisa doing that last week to this, it's immediately,
fuck, we have a big problem with Salt Lake coming up.
Look, I think that that's another thing this show is doing in a positive way,
even a positive outcome,
it just highlights a lot of things.
It highlights the things that we love about these shows.
You know,
it highlights the things that frustrate us.
And we can kind of see it taking shape in real time,
which is kind of an interesting aspect to look at it,
which, again, I wasn't until you opened your stupid mouth.
But now that we're here, you know, that is a glaring problem.
And something that Lisa said in the car,
she said, oh, when they were talking about how much she was enjoying the road trip,
and doesn't want the ladies of her cast to ruin it.
And Teresa goes,
everyone's had it with their cast.
Therein lies the issue with the franchises that are struggling.
You have too many women fed up with the women on their cast and not in like a,
ooh,
fun drama kind of way.
In a wow,
it's not fun to watch them film kind of way because the drama is not good.
It's repetitive.
It's boring.
And they can't move the fuck on.
We can't get past anything.
And we get bogged down.
Salt Lake was one of the heavy hitters.
It's still a good show.
I'm not throwing in the towel yet.
But we look at it.
It's like, well, shit, if we're going to kick off this season, everybody hates Meredith and Lisa.
We've seen this episode.
We've seen this season before.
We've seen the takedown.
We've seen the attempt to take down.
I want this show, this Ultimate Girl's Trip, to inject the fun back in it.
I want Lisa to have a team meet.
when she gets back and say, look, I know we all have our shit. I know we're at each other's
throats. Can we try? Can we fucking try to Kiki a little bit and see how it feels? See how it goes.
And if some shit pops off, let's not go to the depths of hell to the point that we can't come back
and we have massive fissures in this group that can never be repaired. That's where Salt Lake is going.
It's going the same way as Jersey and you can watch it taking shape. It's very frustrating. I wasn't
thinking about this before you talked.
Damn it.
I mean,
case in point,
the clip from next week,
Heather is trying to tell the rest of the women
that Lisa lied about getting a facelift.
Who gives a shit?
Let's go back through the cast.
Angie Kay and Sean,
done.
Bronwyn and Todd, done.
Who knows what's going on in Meredith land?
Whitney and Justin,
probably done.
Probably done.
We're talking about Lisa's facelift.
Yep.
And we already know Heather doesn't have a storyline of her own.
She's just going to go after Lisa regardless.
It's just bullshit.
It truly is bullshit because they all have things going on in their lives, which we'll see.
I'm not saying we're not going to see them.
But unfortunately, it's going to be in Bronwyn's weird-ass house because she probably moved out of that house, got another house and moved all of her weird art furniture into it and all of her costumes.
And we're going to have a sit down with her and Muzzy talking about.
Muffy.
What's going on in her life?
What's going on with Todd?
I don't care about that.
I want to sit down with the rest of the women and talk about Todd.
And have that take center stage.
That's what should take center stage.
That along with the other separations that are going on in the group.
Let's talk about that in the group.
I don't want to do these one-off situations.
And then when we get back to the group, we have to go battle against Lisa.
It's just stupid.
It's tried and not true and stupid.
And I don't want to deal with it.
And this is giving me a huge pause for concern.
while we go through all of this, because this is a Beverly Hills episode.
We can talk about what's going on with Doree, which we do, and we don't get any more information,
but we can talk about all the things that are going on in Beverly Hills.
And for some reason on the Beverly Hills episode of the White Party, all we're talking about really is
Lisa potentially sucking dick to get some fucking Utah jazz tickets.
Jazz tickets again, because obviously, again, Porsche and Giselle didn't really know about that because they're not watching the shows.
And I don't blame them.
It's two years ago.
But that's what we amount to.
And now you can see it.
And this is the thing that really bothered me to was
Giselle having that conversation with Bronwyn and Whitney,
then coming back and telling Portia and saying,
I'm going to keep an eye on Lisa.
Nope,
don't do that,
Jazeel.
I know what you're capable of.
Do not make this a Lisa thing.
Lisa is coming with you to Atlanta,
then going to New York,
then go to the Berkshires.
No,
let's leave Lisa alone.
Lisa's having a good time.
I want to see her have fun.
I want to see her have a good time.
Because we don't know really since season two,
what Lisa is actually capable of.
while having a good time,
she might mix it up and have some drama.
Maybe she doesn't want to,
I don't blame her,
but she might get involved.
Teresa could get involved
at some point if somebody pokes her
into the pit.
Those are the things that we want to see
on Ultimate Girlstrip,
not this shit.
No,
and I think that the biggest thing
that has been revealed
with this setup of this current cast,
well,
one, to your point,
hey, Jaselle,
Lisa's your castmate right now.
Yep.
For this time,
she is your castmate.
So defend her.
Just because you're supposed to.
But I agree with you.
I think that one of the biggest issues that we're having,
one of the quickest fixes for Salt Lake,
if it is that broken,
we need Lisa,
the star of your show,
we need her to have a good time.
She needs to have some fun.
Because as of right now,
most of the ladies on this ultimate girl's trip,
other than Portia and Giselle,
are dreading going back,
to their own shows.
Like that right there,
if I'm a producer of Bravo watching,
I'm like,
oh,
well,
it's not like quirky and fun hate.
Like,
they genuinely dread going back.
And they're all shocked
that they could have this much fun.
Where did we go wrong?
Something is a miss here
because nobody enjoys their own show
except for Giselle and Portia.
Like,
that's a problem.
That's a big problem.
And I agree,
you get Bronwyn and Whitney in there mixing it up.
That's one of the best points
I think you've ever made.
And that is the,
the,
The number one problem in Salt Lake is, okay, here we are.
We have all of this shit to talk about.
What are we going to talk about?
Everyone in Salt Lake hates Lisa and Meredith.
Great.
Awesome.
Can we go check in with Mo again?
Like, I'm fuck.
Yeah.
That's kind of what it amounts to.
The Moe drop-ins are just kind of funny.
And obviously, you know, we have to sit down with Lewin and Vicki discussing insurance as all things go.
And it seems like we finally get like some resolution to this, which I didn't even
know where it was going. I never know where things are going with Luann or Vicki.
You put the two of them together. I really have no idea what's going on. The two of them sitting
down, I couldn't make heads or tails of that conversation because I didn't think that Luam was
really keying in on anything important. And Vicki was talking about work with insurance. And they
seemed to agree to disagree, but at least more agree. And that comes unraveling immediately.
I mean, Vicki's taking shots at Luan the whole time. Luan's just doing Luan things. And you could
argue Vicky's doing Vicky things.
But the working while traveling is pissing me off.
Like, I don't want to hear about it anymore.
It was fun.
You can shoehorn in your insurance.
You can ask the women, hey, I saw you doing zip lining the other day.
You want some life insurance.
That's funny.
That's okay.
I'm completely fine by that.
But don't talk about work and don't actively disengage from things going on
on the show you're filming because you have to answer a call or do work.
I'm okay with her answering the call at the end.
That's completely different.
But this one, it's just a stupid conversation that seems to be over and I was happy it was over,
but I think it's just getting started.
Yeah, I agree.
And that's funny seeing Luann and Vicki interact.
Like, they're so upset.
Two people that would never be friends.
Yeah.
And they're not going to be.
Like, there's no resolution in their future.
It's just going to be Luan making a quote unquote effort, Vicki made a quote unquote effort,
them having a conversation and literally not even being able to sit down together and like meet
or have some mutual understanding.
Like they will both be so far the other way, like, well, I just get in along with her.
Like, that's how it's going to go, which is funny.
Like that I liked.
But I think one of the best things about this episode was, you know, again, we're doing a lot of nostalgia.
We got the throwbacks.
We got a bunch of the heavy hitters of old coming in.
We have this big group of housewives getting together and just talking what this show is doing a good job of.
And it is the 20 year anniversary of housewives.
It is a good reminder to all of us.
And hopefully, like, I'm not even kidding.
Like the producers of Bravo that are watching that are involved in the show.
It's like, Bravo, and I'm going to get corny for a sec.
I don't give a shit.
But like, this is the pull of it.
This is what sucked you and I into this.
This is what gets everybody in.
It's this funny little universe within our society of like, if you walk up to a complete stranger
and that person watches Bravo, you can sit there and have a full.
conversation with them. It's this little
cultural bubble
that's so funny and
unique and we can all come together
and talk about. We have different opinions.
And like in our little world,
Luann is a star. If you ask somebody
else who Luann de la Ceps says, they're going to go, who?
But we know. And like I just think
it's such a cool thing. And like this
Bravo community as a whole has been such a blast and like
the interaction and like why we love it so much
that I just want to get back to
a place of having.
having fun on housewives.
And I can't say it enough.
I really hope that this is a step in that direction because this episode did make me homesick.
I'm watching like,
I love this shit.
This is why.
Like I want that feeling.
And you're,
you're pissing me off with the Salt Lake shit.
Like I just.
Yeah.
Good.
Yeah.
That's where producers have to step in.
Now,
just to tie a bow on everything,
it seems as we've indicated that Vicki and Vicki and Luann are not going to get along.
This part I was completely fine with.
The conversation they had at the party could not care less.
I don't need to hear Vicky talking about work and Luan not really making a case.
Didn't really make any sense to me.
So whatever, I'll leave that where it is.
But in the car, that's fine.
I'm totally fine with Luan going overboard asking somebody to send her the video of her flying in on the zip line
and then just watching and singing.
And Teresa next door,
just bopping along,
Vicki getting pissed off,
taking a phone call.
Like, the whole thing was funny.
Like, this is good.
That's completely fine.
Now, if we get to the next episode
and immediately Vicky says,
I'd answer a work call.
Nope.
Don't do it.
Just say it was anyone else.
Literally anyone else.
Let it be Michael.
Let Michael be checking in.
Like, hey,
how was the party?
That's totally fine.
And you can say,
I answered because my boyfriend
was calling me and it was rude not to.
And Luann can say it was rude to answer a call while we were having a conversation.
Then you could say you don't fucking care about the conversation.
That's cool.
You guys can be at odds the whole time for the rest of this trip and that's totally fine by me.
I want more of that.
Because again, like we already said, these are people that don't interact.
Aside from a Bravo con or some sort of Bravo event, they're on a show together.
They're together.
They're forced to be together for what is this?
Like a two week thing, a three week thing, I think of travel.
14 days, I believe.
Yeah, I think it's two weeks.
So that's fun.
That's what I want to see.
That's what an ultimate girl trip should be is to have.
housewives that do not know each other that well, that buttheads. I want more of that. Maybe this
will have a gravitational pull of some sort. Now, again, I do think portion and Giselle are kind of
staying out of it and just kind of being the mediators and getting involved when they need to,
which is totally fine and that's right up their alley. But for everybody else, like Lisa in the
backseat sitting there laughing the whole time, she's probably going to be on the way.
You couldn't even see her. Yeah, you couldn't even see her. Teresa's sitting there singing the song
wrong. Like that is very funny. Those are the moments that I like and I want more of that.
And I think we're getting there.
And that's what gives me good promise.
I don't have an issue with the show.
I have an issue with Salt Lake.
And we'll get into that in a couple of weeks, I'm sure.
Yeah.
I don't have an issue with the cast.
I don't have an issue with the show.
I want people to start showing up a little bit more.
And I think we're getting there.
I think we're far enough along where all of the novelties of,
wow, this is so much fun celebrating 20 years.
I can't believe how far we've come.
You're forced to be together for another 11, 10 days, whatever it might be.
Start hating each other.
It's going to get that.
Actively hate each other.
And I want the organic hate.
That's what I want more than I think.
Yeah, and I think it'll be more fun because we're going to see,
it's still going to be predominantly good times.
And you're just going to see some random spats that you wouldn't have seen if you don't combine casts.
The last thing I want to just touch on because it made me laugh before we get to questions,
to tie a bow and the Mo thing.
So we already had the one moment where Kyle's like,
surprise about the fake wedding for her and Mo to get married again.
And he was awkward.
He's like, ha, ha.
She's like, oh, I got you.
He's like, oh, God.
Oh, fuck.
But the best part is before that, which makes more sense why he was more awkward later, is when they arrive, L.B. says congratulations on your anniversary.
Happy anniversary.
Wow.
It's the same thing to say.
The best part, though, is Vicky backing up with, yeah, we all had a good cry.
That's cute is what Mo's said.
That's cute.
Mo's like, get me the fuck out of here.
And it's not what Mo is used to
because I feel like he's probably used to other
housewives on Beverly Hills talking to him
for the moment, knowing that there's cameras
around. This is truly
L.B. not really
understanding or not really understanding the gravity
of the situation. Like, are they separated?
Because the way Kyle talks, like, that's still my
husband. Maybe L.B.
doesn't want to worry about that.
She wants to do it the right way. Whatever.
Vicki, I thought it was going to be
more. I was waiting for another.
shoot a drop too just based off of the conversation that vicky and kyle had the day prior i could
have seen her going even further like hey you failed your children like that would be great if she
told mo that he failed his children that would have been awesome but either way you get phajor you get
portia and uh and joselle sitting there watching like i can't fucking believe these two get me the
hell out of here i don't know what to do with any of this it was gold it was great and like those
of the moments we can look forward to. And again, we like this show. I think we got bogged down
by the Salt Lake of it all. But hopefully that's not going to be once we get past Heather.
Obviously, it's going to ramp up next episode. Hopefully we can put it to bed at least for the
remainder of this season at the very least. But I don't know. Yeah, like first question,
Teagall Nail. What do you think about the Salt Lake drama? We are apprehensive.
Extremely. Putting it lightly. Yeah. I'm pissed off. It's probably,
From sweet Sarah 10.
Thoughts on Doreet, not attending Kyle's White Party.
Is it a bad look?
Yes, it's a bad look.
I think that she should be there.
I think that it's part of the Bravo sphere.
It's part of Beverly Hills celebrating the show.
You've been on it for a long time.
You should have been there if you were invited.
You didn't go.
All it tells me is Doreet has either crawled completely up Bose's ass or her own ass.
Either way, not good.
Not good stuff.
Yeah, I agree.
And I think, you know, it was 100% also a move by Kyle.
It was the easiest move she's ever had to make because, yes, you should obviously invite her.
That's a no-brainer.
But she was probably under the impression, like, she's not going to come to this.
What does that give her?
She's got a leg up going into the season.
That's the first thing that they're going to talk about, which also is not awesome.
But, yeah, that's what I thought.
I was like, wow, I mean, Kyle won up there out of the gate.
That's a big one because for her to forego a 20 year celebration of housewives on a show that she's been on for what 10 longer.
Yeah.
Like that's that's that's the second longest standard housewife now.
Yeah.
The Kyle and Dorete should aside like that's a bad look.
Like Andy I hope clocks her for that one because that's, I don't know who you think you are.
But that ain't it.
Yeah.
from really bad pictures.
Why was Camille so thirsty for camera time?
How embarrassing.
Yeah, the speech was crazy.
But that's what we were talking about.
Being a housewife is a double-edged sword.
When you're not a current housewife,
the delusion that made you a pretty good housewife or a good housewife
or an okay housewife also bleeds into your real life
and you see cameras and you just want to have a moment.
It's what they're trained to do.
Yeah, I think we can also give credit there.
I think it's almost second nature now.
Like, ooh, camera, perform.
Yeah.
Yeah.
I don't even think they do it on purpose.
But yeah, Camille was pouring it on thick.
And understandably so because she's gotten a couple of cameos over the past couple of years.
Like she has been worked back in there.
So she's probably like, ooh, is it my time?
They're plugging and playing a lot of old housewives.
Maybe it's Camille's time.
And you know what?
Could be.
Would not be shocked, by the way, if she's a friend out of this season.
Now they're already announced the full cast.
she's not part of it.
All right.
From car millionaire,
Vicky versus Lou is the type of conflict I want to see.
It's honest,
it's just honest,
hilarious,
and not dark.
Correct.
That is exactly what we want.
We want two people,
budding heads,
and it doesn't have to be deeper than that.
Yep.
Blacksmith Trev.
With how iconic,
wow,
rare.
With how iconic Robha used to be,
it's a shame we don't see more alumni there,
like LVP.
I agree.
but there's a lot of splinters in that cast that are not going to be fixed.
LVD wouldn't go out to that simply because of a tile party, no.
Yeah, and not happening.
No chance.
No chance.
From Mad Walb, if you could add one Rhode Island housewife to this cast,
which one would you choose?
Joellen?
The Beverly Hills.
No, oh, it's an ultimate girls trip, I think.
Um, Joe Allen, I think would be good, uh, Rula.
Absolutely not.
Don't reward her for voting it in all season, literally.
Um, yeah, I think that Joe,
Alicia would be good.
Alicia would be funny, but we need some.
Yeah, but we need.
Yep, exactly.
That's why I chose Joe Allen.
Yeah.
You can Rosie might do it too, though.
Like in, uh, yeah.
Oh, I'm just asking questions kind of way.
It's a good point.
It's also like actually very funny though because Rhode Island's the newest Houseway franchise.
So throwing a Rhode Island person on a 20th anniversary celebrating all the key moments would be like kind of a slap in the face.
But they already have some amazing moments.
But they are.
Yeah.
From Jay Bay the Hut 713.
Did it look like Arianna Maddox was at the way party?
I had such a hard time with this show, with this episode in particular.
because every time I looked away from the screen,
I came back and I didn't know who was talking
because they just kept throwing people at you.
I mean,
there was people all over the place that I was not expecting to see.
So she could have been there.
She didn't have a talking point.
So maybe,
but I'll let you believe that it was.
I'll let you believe that she was there.
Yeah.
And from Lindsay Bucks,
it was so nice to see them let Bailey and Levi be
Lou hands back up for tree dancers.
Yeah.
Funny.
The Bush's thing was funny.
That made me laugh.
Yeah.
It was very funny.
I'll do one more if we have it.
Oh, here you go.
This one's for you from Von Nez.
What housewife would you want to perform at your special event?
Ooh.
Off the top of my head, you know what?
I would have said the pretty mess.
I would have said Erica Jane.
But if we're just doing Housewives overall,
after seeing her perform
Kay Michelle.
She's legit.
I like her show.
I would just say Meredith Marks.
She can DJ.
Oh,
DJ Meredith Marks would be a good thing.
If I want like,
if I'm having an event and I like want it to be good,
like I'm taking it seriously.
I'm hiring Kay Michelle.
If I wanted to be funny,
I'm hiring DJ Meredith Marks.
Yes.
As you should.
Yeah.
But anyway,
yeah.
So this brought up a lot of issues I wasn't thinking about.
Thank you for that.
Quite welcome.
Welcome to party, pal.
Yeah, that sucks.
But who knows?
It's not a party.
I just want that show to be good again.
When Salt Lake was good, it was good.
It was so fucking good.
Monica Garcia season, just impeccable.
And you know why?
Because you had a common enemy and all of the OGs got along for the most part.
Like, that's all it is.
If they have fun, we have fun.
That's one of those casts.
If they don't have fun, we are not having fun.
Oh, well.
You're a dick.
Whoopsie.
Oh, that's all I got.
You got anything else?
Nope.
Well, that's our show.
Rob Bros are out of here.
Mixing it up on you.
Hi, I'm Whitney.
And I'm Katie.
And we're the hosts of True Crime Campfire.
We set out to make a true crime podcast we'd want to listen to.
We get right to the story.
We don't do a lot of extra talk in.
And when we do, it's usually to roast the short hair.
off of some loser murderer or scammer.
You'll laugh, but only at the people who deserve it.
Like, which serial killer would you most like to shove into a locker?
BTK and is awful poetry.
Dude got caught because he didn't understand what a floppy disk was.
We look for the stranger-than-fiction stories,
like the case of Patty James,
a killer catfish before the internet was even a thing.
Or Howard Walmsley, a sentient wad of damp laundry
who convinced his town he'd won the lottery,
fleeced local businesses out of thousands,
and then became a romance scammer.
We've covered tons of cases you've never heard of.
Colts, scammers, killers.
So come find your next great binge.
