Bros & Shows - Who Doesn't Like Chicken & Waffles? (RHOA Full Recap)

Episode Date: April 15, 2026

What's up bros?? We're back in the ATL for another great episode of Atlanta once again begging the question "is Atlanta back?" and I answer a firm YES! While Porsha throws some wicked shade at Kelli d...uring dirty tea, it seems she's not the only person finding things from the past to get upset about; we're talking about Shamea of course. Let's hope she can find a place in this cast this season because it looks like all of the other ladies are moving forward to better things and she might just get left behind. Starting point is 00:00:00 We're two episodes in, and I love this show. This show is great. This is exactly what it should be. We should be able to pick and choose if we want some drama, if we just want some fun action. Atlanta falls under the comedy category right now, but something tells me it's not going to last. I think there's going to be some shit blowing up soon,
Starting point is 00:00:19 but it's going to be in a way that only Atlanta can do. And I am so excited because all the pieces are in motion. They're all set, ready to go. And we're having a great time. It's just so much fun. As there's a drive in a deep left field by Castellanos, it will be a... Oh man, it's 8 o'clock. And so that'll make it a...
Starting point is 00:00:34 I don't need the spotlight. I shine just fine. Hi, I'm Karma. And yes, I am a bitch. Brov Bros. Good afternoon, everybody. Welcome back to another episode of Brov Bros. Your favorite podcast from the Bros.
Starting point is 00:00:53 For everybody, for whoever wants to listen, I'm your co-host, Steele Russell, joined as always by the one and only... Nana's chicken and gooters. What's up, too? I was just going to say, who doesn't like chicken and waffles? That's what this episode's all about. I'm with Angela. Angela just talked about how much she wanted to eat chicken and waffles the whole episode.
Starting point is 00:01:12 And I agree. I mean, that's all you really have to do as a housewife to get me to like you. Just have the same interest in food. If you talk about chicken and waffles all episode, not because you have a business, but because you just want to eat that and you're excited about eating that, I'm going to love you. And right now I'm aligned with Angela. I've never in my life wanted chicken and waffles more than when I saw those plates of food coming out.
Starting point is 00:01:38 They looked fantastic and the co-signed by Drew that they are in fact fantastic. I was every time she talks about Nana's chicken and waffles two years in a row. Like I need chicken and waffles. We need to go having, we just said we're having a flyers outing. We also need a chicken and waffles outing. So put that out of there. Maybe we can do both at the same time. I know that the MLB last week or two weeks ago released all of the funky new things
Starting point is 00:02:02 that they're going to be selling at different stadiums. Chicken and waffles has to be something. We've got to make that a mainstay. Yeah. We need it somewhere now. The idea of eating chicken and waffles in the sun at a 1 p.m. Philly's game in July. No.
Starting point is 00:02:18 I mean, I'd still do it, but I wouldn't. I don't know. That would be a little bit tougher. But a night game when it's a little chilly outside, now you got me. Now I'm not. A sixth inning chicken and waffle break. Hell yeah. Hell yeah.
Starting point is 00:02:33 You know what the problem is? I love the, like, I think the traditional chicken and waffles is bone in. I think it's like an actual chicken breast with bone in it or a chicken thigh or whatever it might be. But it's just so much more manageable when you have boneless chicken on it. And I know it's not traditional,
Starting point is 00:02:49 but like, I just want to be able to just put my knife through everything and just get a good forkful of everything. And I know it's wrong. And I know it's better when it's, has bone in chicken, but I just don't know which way. I'll take either. You know, I'm not going to be a complainer.
Starting point is 00:03:03 Yeah, I will say this. The best chicken and waffles I ever had was thigh bone in. So that being said, I've had a lot of fantastic chicken and waffles that's been like a chicken tending. So I'm good with either. But if we're saying like what's the best, it's definitely bone in thigh chicken and waffles. Absolutely. A little warm butter. And bear with me here.
Starting point is 00:03:26 hot honey. Dude, yeah, hot honey, of course. Actually, I like a mixture of the hot honey and the syrup. Don't crucify me, but I'll mix that shit all day with the butter too. Oh, yeah. I'm so hungry right now. Oh, my, and I just made wanton lasagna for my cooking page. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:03:45 Dude. Did you eat any of it? It doesn't sound like you did. I had a slice, but I want more now. It is ridiculously good. Okay. This is not the food bros. Off the food topic.
Starting point is 00:03:56 Yep. Oh, God, we get caught on this. I'm not even really hungry right now. I had lunch about like 45 minutes ago. I feel fine right now, but I mean, I've always got room for chicken and waffles. Yep. Okay, let's focus. Let's focus.
Starting point is 00:04:09 Atlanta, we're here to talk about Atlanta. And we start out the episode. We got a little ice plunge with Shamea and Pinky. The only reason I'm referencing this scene, I feel like we have a cast of actual friends. Yeah. And that's, I want to highlight the moments where it's like they actually hang out. out. They're all getting along. I'm sure they probably thought that was going to be like on the show.
Starting point is 00:04:30 But regardless, everyone's hanging out with each other. So we have a good chemistry in this group and that's very important. I think that's a big reason this season's already really good. We get Porsche and just a quick check in. Fadre's son is driving. And then we get to Drew and Angel. This is where we really kind of start out. Okay. We all on the same page. Good job set in the scene. Well, the beginning was different. I've never seen that where they do like the movie comes. so I was confused. Yeah, I don't know. I guess because we just had doling, like, studio 54 parties.
Starting point is 00:05:04 It kind of felt normal. We watched Beverly Hills and Rhode Island. They both had studio 54 parties, which every time that we start to see a theme like that, we don't really know what's going on. We go back to the COVID days with the Roaring 20s parties. But yeah, I didn't really bat an eye at that one. It was the exact same setup as every other housewife episode. Check in, check in, check in, here's your seat.
Starting point is 00:05:24 But they did it differently. The cuts, I did kind of. to notice that but you know i'm not going to dwell on it yeah let's not dwell on it what the fuck is it is it there's a beetle on my floor get them i'm leaving this in go get that beetle and then show the beetle to the camera because everybody's going to want to see a squish beetle that oh shit i got him well that's good content you're going to throw in the fireplace oh that's good yeah do that I think you're going to, well, whatever. There's no telling.
Starting point is 00:06:02 It's like 80 degrees out. I think he's just going to get out of there. Oh, like you're stoking of fire tonight. All right, he go. You're going to cage the beetle. I'll check in and see if he's there later. Anyway, Drew and Angela. We need to.
Starting point is 00:06:18 Yeah, that's just good content. But Drew and Angela are talking real quick, and Drew's got her movie premiere for Run. And she invites Angela. We know last season, there was a little bit of beef between the two of them. It appears that they're just going to try to move forward this season, much to somebody's chagrin.
Starting point is 00:06:36 And that's a very interesting layer of this thing that we're going to talk about later with a third party. But it is weird to see Fadra's son driving. Like that's what I always forget about these shows, because we meet a lot of these kids on screen at a very young age. You know, Jersey obviously is a good example. Beverly Hills is a good example. And then you kind of. how to watch him grow.
Starting point is 00:06:59 And I forgot about Fadra's son. And then they did the montage of him literally as a like toddler. I was like, oh my God, it's so sad. Yeah, yeah, it's funny too because I had a different thought. I have a very similar thought where I'm like, oh, yeah, wow. Yeah, I guess their kids do actually age as they go. And I wonder if it's because the housewives still look so great, you know, whatever you think about, whatever you think about, you know, plastic surgery or whatever
Starting point is 00:07:23 thing along those lines, fine. I don't care. But the housewives in and out always look great. And we always look and we're like, oh, yeah, you look a little different this year. Most part, no, they look the same. So we forget that everybody else around them is aging. It's almost like they're in some sort of like weird dome where they just don't age and all.
Starting point is 00:07:39 And they've been on our screens for 15 years looking exactly the same, which is a good thing, by the way. I love that. Yeah, that's actually a really good point. I think that's exactly why it's so shocking every time you see one of the kids grow up. Yeah, especially when they get really fucking tall. That's like the shock and all when you're like, oh, yeah, I remember when you, Holy shit, you're like 6-5.
Starting point is 00:07:59 What's the hell? What are we doing here? Well, let's go to Dirty Tea with Portia, K. Michelle, and Kelly. First and foremost, K. Michelle is currently my favorite housewife. I think she is fantastic. But it's Kay and Porsche are sitting there and they're just chit-chatting before Kelly arrives. And they're talking about Drew and Black at the party. Apparently, Black is in Kay Michelle's DMs.
Starting point is 00:08:27 but as we heard in this episode, and we're probably going to hear in every episode, Drew and Black are just friends. Just friends. Until she finds out that Black slides in to Kay Michelle's DMs. Then I think it's going to be a problem. Then it's going to be very much a K. Michelle issue, not a black issue. It's not going to be, well, I need to go talk to him about that,
Starting point is 00:08:50 which then obviously begs the very obvious question. Well, I thought you guys were just friends. What's the issue here? I don't think Drew's going to put. herself in that position. However, she will turn to, hey, Michelle and be like, well, what did you do to actually have him in your DMs? Were you messaging him as well? And it'll turn into that whole thing, which again, I'm actually underplaying it. I'm underselling it a lot too. When Drew does it, it's going to be funny. And we're going to see it coming from a mile away. And the way that she goes
Starting point is 00:09:15 about it is going to be hilarious. So I am waiting for that, but I had the same thought down the line, this is going to be something. This isn't just a little drop in there that we're not going to talk about again. We're going to talk about this in about six episodes. And it's going to be very funny how Drew goes about it. Exactly. Like there's no telling and is Black going to be on the phone third party for this whole thing, like answering for himself. I hope.
Starting point is 00:09:37 God, yes. Please. Hey, Michelle and Drew in person and Black on FaceTime. Yeah, but I need them to like evolve it. I need there to be like a stuffed animal or something with like the phone taped. Oh yeah, yeah, yeah. So we start to like materialize a body for him. That would be great.
Starting point is 00:09:52 And then by the end, like when we get to the reunion, we actually have like an AI animatron thing come out and it's just like a face screen, but it's just black with his ringlight. That's what I need. I need the evolution of all of this. And AI generated in this economy, you know, expensive that's going to be? Bravo's not showing up for that. Bravo was making millions and millions of dollars just because two idiots decided to hook up and not care about their friendship.
Starting point is 00:10:17 Correct. We'll give you guys an update on that whole thing tomorrow, by the way. But anyway, Kay Michelle is talking about she is going to, perform at the ACMA honors, and they're honoring Risi Palmer, who is an incredible country singer. And she is, like Kaye Michelle says, she's a trailblazer in the industry. I think that she really blew up in like the early 2000s, early mid-2000s, I want to say. And I know she has a radio show now or an XM show. And Risi Palmer is also a PA native.
Starting point is 00:10:53 So how about that? She's from P. We got two close to Pittsburgh, I think. Two big PA natives in this episode alone, and more specifically, a Philly native and probably the next scene, actually, if I remember correctly. But yeah, I took this. This was really cool. This is really fun. This didn't seem like, at least it doesn't seem like an invite, like we're going to go there because I think she has to go to Nashville for this.
Starting point is 00:11:14 We saw it at the end of the episode. Oh, right, right. Okay. Yeah. So like when it all comes down to it, like the way she was going about it, I thought was very cool because it gives you an idea of who Kay Michelle is. she didn't have that like wow i'm really nervous you know this means a lot blah blah blah it was more of like a it's such a big honor and i'm so excited to do that and i think it's great for me to do this for risi and for the black community getting into country and showing everybody that like hey
Starting point is 00:11:39 i'm black and i sing country music like this is incredible everybody should support that cause but i love her confidence going into that and again we're still so early on in her tenure as a housewife that i'm like yeah everything you're doing is right everything you're doing is really cool it's just her her vibe her overall attitude she seems so extremely genuine and authentic and she's not over the top in in a in a crazy way like she i don't know she's just very well rounded as a house but we love to see it yeah as we know portia and kelly have been at odds a little bit so this is kind of a let's clear the air lunch or at least i thought it was a let's clear the air lunch but Porsche's whole thing is the closer that Kelly has seemingly got to Shemia,
Starting point is 00:12:25 the more quote unquote toxic she's been towards Porsche. I think there's some validity there ever so slightly. Like I started to think back and I was like, you know what? Episode one of this season, we saw that weird moment where she forces it at Porsche's house. I was like, actually, yeah, I think there is some credence to that. I don't know if it.
Starting point is 00:12:47 See, I think. it's a little unfair to say it's toxic just because you yeah no no not you i'm not i'm not giving it to you but like she she used the word toxic i did she did yeah synonyms yeah so like i don't think it's fair to say that it's toxic because i do think obviously what she's doing is i've got my problems with shemia kelly's inserting herself in the middle of it which we said you know we'd rather see kelly not get in the middle of it but if you're looking at it from a practical standpoint shamiya handles things very weirdly she handles conflict very weirdly she can never really really she can never really like she can never really articulate exactly what her feelings are she either just goes one way
Starting point is 00:13:23 or the other she either goes completely mute and doesn't say a word and then walks away with a lot of things to say in her confessional or she just plays the petty game and she just keeps going tip for tap back and forth back and forth and she thinks that she's doing a good read but in reality it's like no you're just they're very low level insults and we saw it with angela last season too it's like okay yeah you might hit like one out of every 10 insults but it's still not a way to go about this. So I do think that maybe Kelly sees that. Maybe Kelly, I think Kelly and Shmiya's friendship is is genuine. Like I'm not questioning that at all. I think that they are friends. So I think that maybe just the person that Kelly is like, no, I'm going to stay up. I'm going to stand up for my
Starting point is 00:13:58 friends. I feel like Shamea's not doing that. Porsche is putting her in a bad spot. So let me just insert myself. Again, I don't agree with it. I don't think that she should do that. But I understand why she's doing it. Yeah. Yeah. I just feel like with Kelly's altercations, if you will, just when she gets into it with somebody, it doesn't seem constructive. Not that she needs to rebuild things all that. Like, of course, she's a lot of just throw shade.
Starting point is 00:14:23 It just feels like because, like you said, it's always so petty and surface level that we just kind of kick the ball, like you're kicking the can along. Yeah. We're not moving anything forward. You know what I mean?
Starting point is 00:14:34 So, yeah, I don't know. I do think there's some, like I said, validity to that statement from Porsche, but you're right. I don't know if toxic was the right word.
Starting point is 00:14:44 Yeah. Well, I mean, it's Porsche. Of course, she's going to use words like that. Right. So last season, we had that moment in the after show, I believe, where Kelly made the claim that Porsche needs to stop boinking everybody's husband. Right. Now, Porsche flips this. Again, this was supposed to be, let's clear the air lunch. And maybe she had to get this off her chest. I don't know. But the way that she goes about it, you're not trying to clear the air. You're trying to turn the table because she throws it on Kelly and says, as well, you know you're not clean. And with you having the past that you have, she's like, what do you want? He's like, you slept with a married man too.
Starting point is 00:15:22 And Portia's insisting on it because Kelly is vehemently denying this. No shot, no way. It does get a little confusing because she's like, you did it. And then so and so called me or sorry, called the guy I was with. And his friend said, I just bointed Kelly. And then makes a reference to Dennis. and Porsche somehow. I don't know where that one came from,
Starting point is 00:15:47 but that's where I stopped believing it or have trouble believing it. I was in until that. Yeah, I'm with Kay Michelle in this situation because she was very confused and she was sitting there. And I think that she was not letting on that she knew too much. Obviously, I think that if there's rumors going around, I assume that all of them know the rumors. There are certain housewives that you can point to and be like,
Starting point is 00:16:07 no, absolutely, you are oblivious to everything. But I do assume always that the housewave has heard one of the rumors or knows everything. that's going on. But she was very confused. And it was one of those situations where, and we've all seen it, it's not just housewives, where you're lying about something and then you're getting ultra specific with your lies to make it seem like it's more authentic, but it's not because the deeper you go into that, the more we question. And then you kind of lose me entirely. Once she got to Dennis, I'm like, what are we talking about Dennis for? How did he get into this? Was it Dennis? And Portia already said, too, because I watched, watch what happens live.
Starting point is 00:16:40 She was on with Liz from Rhode Island, which was really good. And Porsche said, like, you guys, are going to want to know who it is. I'm just telling you right now, don't look forward to that. I'm not going to spill the beans. I'm not going to say who that person is. And don't bring it up. I agree with that too.
Starting point is 00:16:54 And that's kind of what we get into right now with Kelly, because Kelly's like, why are we talking about this now? We're very much in public. She's like, no, this is a private conversation. I want to clear the air with you now. I want you to know these things. And Kelly's like, what are you talking about?
Starting point is 00:17:06 Not only are we sitting in a tea place with other people around us. We're in the public. She doesn't break the fourth wall and allude to the fact that there's cameras there, but we all know what she's talking about. This is the most public that you could possibly get with this. This is not a private conversation. Portia knows that. She doesn't give a shit, but she knows that.
Starting point is 00:17:23 And she's playing dumb. Like, no, it's just me and you sitting here. And yeah, K's here too. But it's just me and you shooting the shit right now. I'm just telling you what I've heard so that you can get ahead. No, Portia, we know what you're doing. Don't do that. Just don't do that.
Starting point is 00:17:35 And again, like you just said, don't bring all of that up if you're not going to show up. And she's like, I am the receipt. Like, no, you're not actually. That's not a receipt. Proven liar. Like, and look, I'm not saying that she's always a liar, but you have lied about a lot of things to get back at somebody. We've seen it time and time again. You've been on the show for 10 years.
Starting point is 00:17:52 We understand how this works. It's okay. But if you're going to make a claim like that, have the receipt. At least show her the text message. Like, what are we doing here? Yeah. When she started talking about texts and calls and stuff, I'm like, then we should actually have real receipts. Let's see one of them.
Starting point is 00:18:08 I'm not saying that she's lying. I don't know enough yet. I'm just saying when you get to the dentist part, it's kind of hard for me to believe. And it's just funny to watch Porsche work. Yeah. Because she does everything the same way. She has beef with somebody. She sets it up as though, hey, I'm either trying to clear the air or I'm just mentioning
Starting point is 00:18:27 this to you. Like she always tries to have that moral high ground in this stuff. And then we'll say something like this. And then she's able to go on the defensive in her mind to be like, whoa, whoa, I thought we were squashing this. Like what's going on? because Kelly obviously is not thrilled to hear this. It just then gets confusing because Porsche is like, well,
Starting point is 00:18:46 I don't speak on your name. And she's like, well, you just did. And then Kelly's like, well, I don't speak on yours. I'm like, well, yeah, you did on the after show. So that's not true either. Now you guys are just throwing shit at the wall and we're not really getting anywhere. So let's hug. Let's hug it out.
Starting point is 00:19:00 Sure. Yeah, we can hug it out. There's no way that Porsche actually thought that that hug was real or that that hug meant they were moving on despite what she says later. Yeah, absolutely. It's just, again, I mean, it's behavior that we've seen before. And it's from both of them technically because you could say that it spilled over. And Kelly going back to last year, I mean, she showed up episode one with no one knowing
Starting point is 00:19:24 who she was and said, why did you take that? Why did you take that lady's husband? And then doubled down, triple down, quadruple down, got to the after show and said the same thing. So she has had it coming. So I'm not really like upset that this is going on. I mean, I'm kind of surprised that it took this long. we've seen Porsche either drag her feet and get to the point where she finds something that she can use against you. And if she doesn't, then she moves on entirely.
Starting point is 00:19:45 And we all know why she's moving on. It's because she doesn't have anything on you. But I don't know. It's, it was expected, but I don't think a whole lot is really going to come from it. I think it's more just, it's more about Shamea and Porsche, to be honest. Yeah, exactly. And that's the root of it. And that's where the Kelly aspect gets interesting.
Starting point is 00:20:03 But again, to Kay Michelle, I liked her in this scene a lot, because she is not diving in. She's not picking aside. She's not like, oh, I got to be team Porsche and throw my allegiance over there. She's saying, you know,
Starting point is 00:20:17 like this isn't really fair to be talking about this little lady's little hot pocket, which was a funny line. And pretty much checking on Kelly, like, hey, I don't know what's happening here, but are you okay? Like,
Starting point is 00:20:31 are we good in this moment? Yeah. Okay, cool. And that's a great role. We don't really have that post on the show. No. No, and she could easily be that, but she could be anything she wants at this point. It looks like she's got all the tools.
Starting point is 00:20:43 Yep. Well, let's bop over to Pinky and her family and we get to learn more about her and her husband. They met. She was pregnant three months later. They got engaged. They got married. They have three kids together, two older daughters, two older stepdaughters. And she just seems very real and relatable.
Starting point is 00:21:05 Like she's not trying to put on a front on the camera, which I've, very much appreciate because especially with new housewives you you tend to get that where it's just like in your face i think that she is established enough in because like i'd heard of her slutty vegans everywhere like i've seen that so i love that she's kind of just herself the fact that she can't remember her kid's name she's like what's the fuck the fifth one dash or dj dash oh it's dash my bad like just stuff like that is is pretty great but yeah i appreciate the scene with her mostly just because it was a full like consolidated background story on where she was with business, how she got to where she is, the trials and tribulations along the way.
Starting point is 00:21:47 And then we get introduced to her husband, who I wasn't sure what kind of role he was going to take. Atlanta can always go either way. We either never see the husband in total or you see the husband a lot. So I'm not really sure where he's going to end up. But he's from Philly. And I love that too because that was my first instinct. He was talking about cheese steaks. And obviously he owns, I think it's called Big Dave's Cheesesteak.
Starting point is 00:22:06 Dave's cheese steaks. So I've actually seen one or two of those before. I've never had them before. But as soon as cheese steak pops up, being from Philly, I have to look up if you're actually from Philly. If you know what the fuck you're doing. Because if you're not, you don't know what the hell you're doing. You're making a steak sandwich with cheese.
Starting point is 00:22:20 Yeah, there's going to be like chopped up peppers and fucking mushrooms and shit on there with like mayo. And like, no, we're not doing that. So I had to look it up. He grew up in Philly and he had a whole thing. He actually doesn't even have a Wikipedia page, which was a little bizarre. But he did have a Forbes article written about. which tells me he's legit.
Starting point is 00:22:38 So I like that a lot. And I want to see more from him because I always want to see more from Philly people. And hopefully we've had a really bad track record with Philly people popping up on these shows and being assholes. I need him to be a good representation of Philly. I do too. And it's going to be interesting because they have an interesting relationship. When they're talking in the end, because she goes through her whole business dealings, you know, how she got started. When she blew up, everything was going great.
Starting point is 00:23:05 and then she hired, as she says, she hired some of the wrong people. Shit went downhill. She spent the last year or two trying to regroup and relaunch the brand, which it seems like she has. Meanwhile, he's been doing his thing with big Dave's.
Starting point is 00:23:19 So he hasn't really been checking in. It seems like a very, what's the word? Like a power couple situation, you know, and like the stuff that he was saying, he's talking about them pushing each other and things like that,
Starting point is 00:23:33 which, okay, I'm for that. You know, you guys motivate each other. Maybe it's a little bit competitive in a positive way. I don't know. Where I caught a snag is the support. Is that she's a vegan and he has a cheese steak shop? Yeah, that's why.
Starting point is 00:23:50 That's why. I didn't even think of that. Last week, I couldn't be with anybody who wasn't a vegan. So I'm assuming he is a vegan, but he owns a long string of cheese steak places. I'm a little confused by that. I'm actually very confused by that. A long string is. much better than a chain.
Starting point is 00:24:07 I always do that with franchises. Anytime there's like anything that franchises, I always refer to them as long strings. I like long string better than chain. But yeah, I just, it was the last little bit of that convoy. And she was like, you know, I had a lot of lonely nights. And he's like, no, you didn't. It's like, oh, okay. He's like, I was here every single night.
Starting point is 00:24:24 It's like, well, maybe she's alluding to something else. And sure enough, she was. She was saying I didn't feel the support when everything was going on. Again, they're both high power business people. so he was off doing his thing. But if you, sir, are going to make the claim that you were there, that's where I catch an issue because things aren't lining.
Starting point is 00:24:45 If you said, I'm so sorry I wasn't there. I was launching big Dave's in L.A. or whatever the fuck. Fine. But you were there. And she's saying you weren't supportive. So that's my snag.
Starting point is 00:24:55 I'm like, oh, is this going to go like you said, one way or the other. Yep. It's something to look. It's something to keep a close eye on for sure for us. And again,
Starting point is 00:25:04 keep a long string on it. God, if he fucking, if he does, he just is in a long string of people misrepresenting Philadelphia. That's where we're going to end up. We're good people in Philly.
Starting point is 00:25:17 That's like our thing. Like we're rough around the edges, but like we're really good people. And like, dumb asses, he's ruined to that. Yeah, Domazas is on TV.
Starting point is 00:25:25 It'll do things. It's like, yeah, you come from the city where they threw snowballs at Santa. It's like, oh, God. Oh, that's like,
Starting point is 00:25:30 can we just have a nice person? Like a cool, a cool. person that like stands out and like, hey, I like that guy a lot great. Or I like that girl a lot great. No, we can't do that. We can't do that. We can. We get Emmy. We get Emmy and Trevor.
Starting point is 00:25:42 That's who we get to represent us. I'm sure there's more too. I just kind of blacked it out. I know. Anywho, Kay Michelle and her husband, Dr. Kastin, are going to check out their new house.
Starting point is 00:25:55 And we just get a little bit more background here. You know, they've been best friends since junior high. And she gets a little bit more in depth on the marriage part of things because in the last episode, she talked about the fact that she went on Queens court to kind of force his hand a little bit to say like, hey, I got plenty of options. It's time to shit or get off the pot, buddy. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:26:16 The funniest part of this is she's like, you know, I went into the situation like, I not wanting to get married. But what I realized he wasn't even going to propose, I got very offended. I was very offended. I was like, that's really, really funny, actually. Yeah. Wait, that's the same. Well, it's not really the same thing.
Starting point is 00:26:32 but we saw a sliver of that on Summerhouse the week before where Darrow was upset that now, when a sudden Ben wasn't flirting with him? What do you mean Ben said he wasn't flirting with me? It was totally clear. No, I'm offended by that. Yeah, it's definitely in the same realm as that.
Starting point is 00:26:48 I thought it was just very funny, though, when she's talking about it, just like, they even, like, flash over. Are you really excited to do all? Yeah, I guess. I'm just signed of the paperwork here. I guess we're going to do all this. But yeah, it was a very funny breakdown of their relationship. And he seems like such a non-issue, just like,
Starting point is 00:27:06 such a normal guy. He's going to be out of the way the whole time. I doubt anything's ever going to pop off. He's going to be very funny to look at it. I know, I did it again. He's going to do something awful now because we just gave him our support. He's going to get in trouble for like laundering money through his dentistry or something. We don't think he is doing that.
Starting point is 00:27:26 We're just our track record says if we support a dude, a husband especially, every time we do this. Like he seems great the next episode. It's Greg yelling in the restaurant in public in the middle of the season in Potomac. That's what we got. Yeah, that's what we're going to end up with. Or there's going to be like these smuggling drugs through like gold fillings in teeth or something like that. Allegedly.
Starting point is 00:27:53 Not allegedly. Not even allegedly. It's just where I'm going. Yeah. I'm trying to think of the worst possible situation. So we're not wide-sided. Somewhat clean because I don't want to get in trouble by FAA because, you know, they track what we're saying on our podcast. They keep an eye on us.
Starting point is 00:28:10 FAA, the flight administration? That's the other one. But yeah. FCC is, I thought FCC was the flight administration. No. No, you got them backwards. I thought FCC was Flight Control Commission. The FACA is airwaves.
Starting point is 00:28:28 I don't know. Either way. Either way, something bad's going to happen now. And look, it's not my fault. You guys can't really blame me if something. It's not because it would have already happened. We don't know. If it happens in season, if I haven't this,
Starting point is 00:28:44 how about this, if it happens in season two, which they haven't started filming yet, it is our fault for sure. If it happens in season one, you cannot blame us because it already happens. We didn't do shit. It's a Schrodinger's cat situation,
Starting point is 00:28:55 you know? Yeah, that is. That's actually where I love to live. Constance Schrodinger's cat. Yeah, he's probably alive. He's not up in the box. He's fine.
Starting point is 00:29:06 Oh, boy. Well, the last little bit of that scene, again, I'm getting all these signs from the universe that I need to get a chicken coop finally. So I appreciate that. Bravo. Definitely going to make that move soon. And we also learn that she wants another baby because she wants a baby girl. She wants her mini-me. She's got a boy, loves him to death, but she wants her little princess.
Starting point is 00:29:28 And I'm sure we'll see that journey. Yeah, you know. I'm not going to blame her. But before we get back to the rest of our episode, I've got a few words from our friends over at Robody. And maybe you've thought about starting your GLP1 journey. Maybe you're not sure about it. Starting point is 00:35:08 But moving right along, we have to Shemia and Kelly and Angela joins in a little while. And we're getting just a check-in here because in the beginning of the scene, we learned that Kelly's ex-husband is doing interviews now. He was on with Tasha Kay talking about Kelly. their divorce, which Kelly's not surprised. And I love Angela's line. I can't stand a man that talks too much. You're a bitch.
Starting point is 00:35:35 He's like, he probably is. Yeah, I don't flavor. Angela's just quickly becoming a fan favorite. She's awesome. She's so unbothered. That's why she's my favorite. But we get a business update from Kelly because obviously we are massive Nana's chicken and waffle fans here.
Starting point is 00:35:52 We learned about the Sandy Springs location last season. This is the flagship store. It's a big deal. She's been trying to get this off the ground. We also know that due to the divorce, there's a lot of roadblocks, a lot of red tape. She's trying to decipher through here to make this thing happen. And she goes through, like the actual finances of it,
Starting point is 00:36:10 which I appreciate. I always like when we get people being up front about stuff because what this tells me is she's spread very thin. And this is kind of a make or break it situation. She says the debt is debting. I got a lawsuit for $26,000 in unpaid rent. I guess she paid that. And the debt on the restaurant itself was a hundred grand.
Starting point is 00:36:33 And she claims to have paid 50,000 of that. So she spent 100 grand just to open the doors. So she's in the hole. Big time in the hole. And we talked about this all last season because we kept going back to that site. Always asking, when the fuck is this place going to open? Well, here we know. This is a very big location for the two things we talked about.
Starting point is 00:36:54 Yeah. Yeah. Those are the two things that we talked about all last. season. We actually decided on the podcast to pretty much stop talking about it because we did it every episode. But it's good to see that she's gotten back to a good place where she could open the doors at least. Yeah. Yeah. I mean, last year they were still trying to put the kitchen in and they were opening in like a month according to them. So clearly, whatever. Look, Nana's chicken and waffles. They're going to thrive. They're going to do five. She's going to make
Starting point is 00:37:19 her money back. Everything's going to be okay. Make her money. Did you not hear yourself just say money. No, did I? Yeah. I'm going to make your money back. You make your money back. Everything's okay. Don't you know.
Starting point is 00:37:38 That's North. Oh, now you're just, Midwestern. Now you're just going to all over the map. Let's reel it in, reel it in. Thadier and Drew comes up. And at some point,
Starting point is 00:37:50 Shemia brings up the Angela and Drew whatever, which again is very much whatever. And you're seeing this, and we talked about it last episode, and this is what I was nervous about. And I do believe, once again, it's because of last season set a precedent in Shamiya's head. She's trying to force things. She's trying to get factions.
Starting point is 00:38:10 She's trying to split up friendships. She's dropping a line in Angela's ear about Drew trying to stir up shit. And Angela being Angela's like, I don't care. Why is she trying to start an issue between me and her? Shemesi is very funny. Shemesi is very funny. Yeah, yeah. Shemesi and Horsha came out in this scene and both, unfortunately, are just, they're great. They're pretty fucking great, especially actually.
Starting point is 00:38:38 And look, hand up. I always have issues with people sing when Kelly goes to her confessional and all she's doing is singing Horcia. Kind of funny. I actually really enjoyed that one. But yeah, I think, again, this is what we keep coming back to. And we have that conversation in the beginning of the episode where we're talking about, you know, what's the real reason why Porsche is going after? I guess going after Kelly and talking about all these things. It always comes back to Shimea.
Starting point is 00:38:59 So Shemia is doing things. That's the end of the day. Now, is she doing things that warrant this type of behavior on the other side from Portia? We'll find out. We'll figure all that out because I'm not exactly sure how much Shemia is doing. But we have had the inklings and even going back to last season that she was pulling the strings, that she was getting in people's ears about certain people.
Starting point is 00:39:18 Now, she was always making excuses for Portia last year. So it did kind of make things cloudy. But this year, it's completely different. And I do feel like a lot of that's going to get cleared up pretty quickly. I agree. And I'm interested to see where that whole thing goes. It's just, she's making me nervous. Everybody else on this show right now is soaring.
Starting point is 00:39:38 They are all doing so good. They seem comfortable. They seem to be settling into this season. They also all seem to be looking forward other than Kelly and Portia. And that one was going to come up no matter what. She said she's been hanging married men. So like we were going to have to deal with that one. But for the most part, we're seeing.
Starting point is 00:39:55 last season being swept away. We don't need to talk about most of that shit. Shemia is trying to make it last season. And I think that's going to be a problem. She's going to have a rough season doing that. But like I think she's going to have a rough season, but we're not going to have a rough season. At least I agree. I agree.
Starting point is 00:40:11 Because of what you just said, everybody else is looking forward. Everybody else is doing such a great job that even if Shemia, like Shemia is not that much of a destructive force, I think she can be somewhat destructive. But she's not that big of a force that she's going to be able to pull everybody. back. I mean, you've got some full on heavy hitters on this cast that are not going to give a fuck what Shmi is doing. And that's going to be great for us too, because it's almost like a medicine. Like, nope, we're not dealing with this. We're moving forward. And nobody's going to get stuck in the mud. She might be able to pull, like, Drew, she can pull back, but like,
Starting point is 00:40:40 Drew can float and just be kind of funny. And like, I don't really care if she gets pulled back. Kelly and Porsche are probably going to be the barometer for that. But everybody else doesn't give a shit. They're done with it. Exactly. And I'm glad. But let's keep moving. We get to Drew and she's at the Regal for her movie premiere run. And I will say, no matter what's happening most of the time with this group, they are a very supportive bunch. They do show up. That's why I was actually surprised at the end that Portia didn't show up to Kelly's thing.
Starting point is 00:41:11 Because usually they're able to just move forward, not move forward, but be like, I'm going to put back to grinds. I agree with you. I was a little confused that she didn't show up to, but I get why she didn't show up. I mean, I think she was up until this scene. I think she was planning on going. She was still going to go because again, in her mind, she cleared the air. We were at dirty tea the other day.
Starting point is 00:41:32 I told her everything. She doesn't actually believe that, though. That's what I said earlier. But it's all about optics for Portia. And even though she doesn't feel that way, she thinks that everybody else feels that way. And that's good enough for her. She can move forward or at least make the indication that she's moving forward. But I actually like this.
Starting point is 00:41:51 And this is one of the weird instances where. again, I'm heavily critical of especially singing careers. I think Drew's actually a pretty good actress. I think she's actually pretty good and she's been in a lot of shit. Also, I might be a little bit leaning in this direction because do you know who is in this movie? No. Marcus Houston. You got served.
Starting point is 00:42:13 Yeah. Yeah, he was in this movie. Yeah, so I actually want to watch this movie because it's right up my alley for like a corny side-by. We should do a review of one. Yeah, we absolutely should. I was looking at the IMDB today. There was a couple of people who have been in things, but haven't been in things in a long time.
Starting point is 00:42:29 Marcus Houston stood out right away. I'm like, holy shit. Really? Marcus Houston. But yeah, he's got to be doing something. He's not getting served anymore, not serving people, apparently.
Starting point is 00:42:37 Maybe serve the alien. He was, he was getting served and serving in that movie. You just got served. I remember when that came out. That commercial would play every, every ad break. And he would just hear that,
Starting point is 00:42:51 you just got served. hell yeah brother i was actually doing the south park parody of it but yeah i know i know i was doing the real one but anyway fadra and angela i think again angela's like fuck last year like i don't care let's move on i don't have time for all this bullshit brings up last year it was such like a passing statement too it was literally just because i got a little worried and we talked about it last week with angela where she said i'm moving on i don't care about any of that bullshit i can't be bothered this year by that. And we're like, all right, cool.
Starting point is 00:43:24 I love that. I actually believe you. And then she asked questions. No, no, you're kind of contradicting herself. But this was such a, I have to ask. Just a straightforward question to Fadre. Did you have anything to do with that guy last year at the end of the season? No, absolutely not.
Starting point is 00:43:41 I actually thought it was fucking weird as hell. Cool. All right. I don't believe you. Go to my confessional. I still believe that it's Fager, but at least we can move forward down. And that's really all it takes, honestly. And that's why a lot of this cast,
Starting point is 00:43:51 I appreciate the way that they can do that because even if it, it doesn't fucking matter. It's, you're never going to have hard evidence that Pager was involved. Angela can move on. Fager doesn't give a fuck anymore. She's done. We already talked about what it was and what it was for. It doesn't matter anymore. Nobody seems to be affected.
Starting point is 00:44:05 We don't need to linger on it. Well, Fajer makes me laugh because she takes the opportunity to be like, good, finally. Maybe we can find out who really did it. I'm like, you did it. Like, we all know you did it. Okay. It would be funny to watch like a full fucking episode, though, of Fadreira. And I know that they kind of do this sometimes.
Starting point is 00:44:21 like put her in a Sherlock Holmes outfit and make sure that she like goes from point A to point B talking to random people on the street trying to figure out who Junebug is and just watching her come to some conclusion and blaming some poor innocent person for this. That would be really funny to me because we all know that she was involved in some way. I don't know if she orchestrated it, but she probably heard the rumor and then passed it on to somebody else and made sure that somebody was at that event, fine. But either way, we know that she's involved in some way, but watching an entire episode where she tries to find the truth and somebody gets blamed for it would be very funny to me.
Starting point is 00:44:55 I agree. But the whole thing is so Fadra coded that when it all popped up last year, I didn't even think twice. I was like, oh, yeah, of course she did this. But the point is it doesn't matter because Angela doesn't want to deal with it. So they squash it, they hug, they're moving forward. It wasn't swept under the rug. That's also very important.
Starting point is 00:45:13 It was just, it was an agree to disagree, but Fadra doesn't know she still disagrees. Perfect. Yeah. Great. Now, Portia arrives with. Sway, who she is there on a date with. As we all know, she is a little fluid. So she is just testing the waters here.
Starting point is 00:45:29 You know, she's getting back out in the dating world. This is the first time she's considered dating a woman. In the past, she said she's fooled around with women. This is the first time she's dating a woman. So we'll actually, I would love to see a double date with Portia, Sway, and Charles and Angela. Charles and Angela would be great. That'd be a great scene.
Starting point is 00:45:51 Yeah, the conversation we were having was Fadre with whoever, she's dating somebody right now too, I think. I can't remember his name though. She met him in the first episode. I don't remember. You might still have it written down somewhere, but yeah, the conversation was,
Starting point is 00:46:08 well, you know, you got Fadre and Drew here. Maybe they'll bring somebody on a double date. I would love to see Charles and Angela go on that double date, though. That would be very fun. Right. Wouldn't that be a great scene? I just went back to my notes to try to find. you probably didn't write it down it's okay um but uh Porsche is still with her so I know
Starting point is 00:46:27 that's still going strong which is good to see all right I just wanted to do a quick that's okay to see if I found it but yeah we don't need to waste time I don't think it's going to like make anybody's day if you figure out no the name was no it's more for me yeah yeah that's okay that would have made me happy oh wait it's worth a try guys is worth a try. But the conversation comes back around to what happened with Kelly earlier, that apparently Kelly's boy and King married man, according to Porsche.
Starting point is 00:47:00 Ed Porsche's like, yeah, we cleared that whole thing. It's no big deal. We hugged it out all as well. She's like, oh, well,
Starting point is 00:47:05 she called you a horsesh. Oh, well, she's a fake-ass bitch then. It's great. So, yeah, fuck that.
Starting point is 00:47:11 Fuck that. I am no longer going to chicken and waffles's debut. I do not care. She can brought in hell for all I'm concerned. I'm moving all of those. I'll see you guys later. Yep, exactly. And then we get to go watch the movie.
Starting point is 00:47:25 And again, like I said, you get a very supportive group. Like, Portia gives her a problem for acting. It is very funny that she died in the first 10 minutes until we find out it's the first 35 minutes. And I'm not going to knock her acting career. Like, I agree with you. Actually, she is a good actress.
Starting point is 00:47:40 And, you know, this is cool. She's in a movie. So, like, no shade there. It's just funny. If she did get killed, if it was like Drew Barrymore and scream where she literally gets killed in the first scene of the movie,
Starting point is 00:47:49 would be kind of funny to poke a little bit. But I mean, she's in one third of the movie. So that's pretty good. That's pretty decent. But one thing happens afterwards, and then we can move forward to Nana's chicken and waffles. This topic, and I said this was going to happen, it's going to continue to happen. We talked about it earlier a little bit.
Starting point is 00:48:13 This black situation, he's a friend. I don't care anymore. I don't want to do this. every time Black comes up. And it's going to come up because K. Michelle's going to mention that he's in her DMs, and then it's going to become a thing, even though we've watched you say your friends in every scene that you're in. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:48:31 Look, it's fine because we know what the end game is. We know what's going to end up happening in a couple of episodes. So as long as we focus on that, and I do think because it involves K Michelle, it'll be fine. It's not going to be a unwatchable scene. It's not going to make anybody grown. We all know who Drew is. She's going to continue to say that she's just, friends with him, it's okay.
Starting point is 00:48:51 It's not the end of the world. I'm mostly talking to you, actually, because I feel like you're getting aggravated with it. Probably, but thanks. Thanks for trying to talk me off the ledge prematurely. But anyway, we get to Nana's Chicken and Waffles and Kelly's there getting everything set up. They pass their health inspection, all that good stuff. We get a little bit more of a rundown on the debt thing and rebuilding her life post-divorce and all the things she has to pay for.
Starting point is 00:49:14 She got attorney fees. She's a single mom. She's taking care of her mom and her dad, her sister. So she's got a lot of the line here as we opened up the Sandy Springs location. Again, the food looks fantastic. So I think we got a winner here. I got my thing he's crossed. But everybody arrives. And again, there's, this is, it's just a bummer. It's a bummer. And it's going to keep being a bummer. Shemia. You and Drew, we don't care. Right. And like, even Drew alludes to it. Like, I don't.
Starting point is 00:49:49 have any beef with Shemia anymore. It does feel like we have so many people on this cast just trying to start a new season, start from scratch. And if this is Shemia's move every time to try to go backwards, I think she's going to end up isolated and it's going to be very obvious. I think my issue with the whole thing is like, you can have new beef with these people. Sure. It's all based off of shit that happened last year. And everybody else on the cast has moved forward. So should you. But it's not supposed to stop you from having beef. Like you can still hold on to those feelings.
Starting point is 00:50:23 You can have your reservations about anybody that you want. I don't care. That's what this show is for. Just find new reasons. And you can find new reasons very easily on this show on any housewife show. Sometimes someone does something that's going to irritate you or piss you off. And you can take it however the hell you want. You can take it as a slight to your own character, even though Drew's just referring to
Starting point is 00:50:43 black as her friend. That could somehow upset you and you could have an issue with that and go after Drew for it. And I'd be like, yeah, okay. that makes total sense. But if you're going to bring up shit from last year or not even really bring up shit from last year, but just allude to it or just say I've got issues with it. Like, no.
Starting point is 00:50:57 And again, we didn't really see her have like severe issues with Drew. It was really anybody. I mean, except for Portia, which we understand and we got into it at the reunion. And obviously you guys are still at that point. I just don't care. And we're hearing about it from other people too. That's the worst part where it's like, yeah, Shamiya's got issues. Why?
Starting point is 00:51:16 Why is Shemia not here telling me that she has issues with me? Like, I just don't want to watch that. Yeah, it's very strange. It's not good TV. Everything else around it is great. Right. Yeah. So I'm not saying anything negative about the show overall.
Starting point is 00:51:29 It's just interesting to watch this. Yeah. And like you see other moments where, you know, she finds out that Angela and Fager are cool. I think that she may has an issue with that. She's like losing soldier. She's like, well, shit, if everyone's cool and I'm not, how am I going to get my team? You're watching her team fall apart. She didn't really have one before, but I think she had this preconceived notion going into this season.
Starting point is 00:51:52 This is how it's going to stack up. Here's who I got to go against Portia. And here's who's going to be on the other side of things. And I think in two episodes in, she's looking around the table going, fuck, everyone's cool, except for me. And all she's going to do, dude, is lean so heavy on Kelly and just try to be in her ear about Porsche to make sure that they're still at odds that she has a common enemy with somebody. And that's also going to be annoying. Yeah, that's for sure going to happen. And again, she's going about it the wrong way.
Starting point is 00:52:23 You don't need a team. You should be watching everybody else make up and be cool with each other and say, wow, I want a slice of that pie. I want to be cool with people. Go be cool with people. I don't really think anybody outside of Porsche is going to have an issue. If you show up, like, yeah, you might get a couple of eye rolls. You might get a couple of people saying it's fake.
Starting point is 00:52:40 But there's a couple of new people on this cast that you can kind of try to rub elbows with. There's older people that have been on the cast who are going to be cool. with you if you just go over and start talking to them. But she has this stance of, well, I feel like I'm being left out. It's like you're leaving yourself out. That's the only problem here. You can just do whatever the hell you want and move forward just as they are. But for whatever reason, she has these reservations.
Starting point is 00:53:02 And I don't know if it's just her and Kelly sitting down off camera talking about everybody. And then she sees Kelly like, oh, I guess Kelly's able to have conversations with these people and do things. I don't know. I don't feel the same way. Like it's just a very woe is me attitude. And I just don't care for it. I don't either. It's just kind of irritating.
Starting point is 00:53:17 you know like i don't know what your angle is but if this is going to be you bumming around all season that's not that fun and no she again tries to incite something at the table because she's like well i'm just so proud of how quickly we can move on from things just feels like last year when i tried to uh sweep it under the rug everyone was like no it's like well yeah well that's the thing because you tried to sweep it and fager and angela i mean no it wasn't a knockdown drag out but they did talk about what was going on and agreed to move on from it. They didn't just act like it didn't happen.
Starting point is 00:53:50 So it's a bit of a different situation. That was also a different situation between the two of them. I don't think that they had a friendship beforehand. You and Porsche go back a very long time. So when you guys were having shit with each other and the rest of the group is getting involved, that's a lot more loaded. And yeah,
Starting point is 00:54:07 we want to see the breakdown of that. Angela, Fadra and Junebug was such a random, what the fuck is this? Like, no, we don't want to get. get stuck on that. And you're not having a big moment here by saying, oh, but you guys can sweep it. It's like, oh, no. No, we're not doing that. No. And it also was nice, though, to see Pinky go over to Kelly, because Kelly is like, yeah, you left me on red. She's like, and as we know from everything Pinky's told us, she's being honest when she says, look, I didn't even know I left you on red. I was going
Starting point is 00:54:39 through a lot. And we know that she was actually in real life. And this is all you need from her. She's like, I'm so proud of you. I'm here for whatever you need. I got your back. Lots of props. Awesome. Awesome. Awesome scene.
Starting point is 00:54:54 Awesome pinky. She's great. Yeah. It's the way to do it. Like, don't leave anything unimaginable. Don't leave anything out there to be conveyed into a weird situation where Kelly thinks that you're taking. Oh, yeah. No, just shut the book on it.
Starting point is 00:55:06 Just shut the book on it. Just be supportive. Like, if you really didn't meet anything by it, there's no reason to pro shade right now. Look, I don't know if Kelly and. Pinky are going to be friends by the end of the day. Who the hell cares? We'll see how that plays out. But this is a non-issue.
Starting point is 00:55:20 And I'm glad that this is one of those tropes that we've seen a million times. This could have blown up into something that really would have been boring as shit to watch. So I'm happy that they just close the book on it right away. I agree. But my favorite part of this episode is probably Porsche sending flowers. Congratulations. We need to talk. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:55:39 What do you think she's going to do with those flowers? Exactly what she does with them. Get those out of here. I don't need these. It's honestly worse than just not showing up. If you just didn't show up, that's probably expected, given what's going on. The flowers are condescending, in my opinion. Yeah, yeah, but I still like the move.
Starting point is 00:56:00 I'm a big fan of the move. It's a good move. Yeah, I don't have an issue with the move. I'm just saying those flowers were pretty much a middle finger. Yeah. Like, I'm not there, and I'm reminding you that I'm not there. And I love that Angela calls Porsche, though. It's like, hey, what's up?
Starting point is 00:56:16 What's going on? Here's Kelly. Awesome. And the fake niceties back and forth about who can be meaner to the other person without saying something actually mean was very fun. I very much enjoyed it. Very entertaining. Very entertaining stuff by both of them. Yep.
Starting point is 00:56:33 And the last part of the grand opening of Nana's Chicken Waffles is Shibia and Drew. And again, trying to poke and prod. The way she leads things off, even though you didn't invite me, I want to see your movie. And Drew's like, well, we haven't been talking. We haven't talked at all. Why would I invite you to this thing? And you said a lot of hurtful things. Well, it's like, yeah, well, you did too.
Starting point is 00:56:57 It's like, okay. So what's the move here? And then Shamea's mom comes in out of nowhere that starts talking about Jesus. And somehow we're able to move forward. Yeah, because we all need a little Jesus in our life. Well, probably. It seems like it put things into perspective right away. Shamea's mom came in, just brought up Jesus, and we're all good.
Starting point is 00:57:19 Cool. All right. Nobody has to worry about anything because Jesus is here. Praise B. You're right. You are right. Under his eye. Well, K. Michelle was in Nashville for the ACMA event and something happened.
Starting point is 00:57:36 I'm very glad that she was able to perform because it made it seem like, maybe she didn't get on stage. But when she was sitting in the green room, I guess, she got up from the couch and the whole couch was soaking wet. She said she was completely numb. It turns out that she got an illegal surgery with illegal silicone to get a BBL from what it sounds like. And because of that, she's having a leak and where the stitches were opened up, it was this whole mess.
Starting point is 00:58:08 I felt so bad for her, like her crying and sitting there going, why did I do this to myself? It's like worst case scenario. I'm sure everyone has nightmares about that happening if they get it done in real life. So I just feel bad. I'm not going to say at all like, well, you shouldn't have done it. Like that's stupid. The fuck are we to say what women are doing their bodies?
Starting point is 00:58:29 Correct. Yeah. So that is not my stance at all. I just felt really bad, really bad because she seems to be straught about the whole thing. I hope that they can clear it up and she's totally fine moving forward. but a big tip of the cap, just the self-awareness of the whole thing to talk about her from that perspective of like,
Starting point is 00:58:45 why the fuck did I do this to my body? I had a great butt beforehand and I tried to do too much and this is the result. So just building up why she is such a likable housewife, just so authentic in the best way transparency.
Starting point is 00:59:01 Yes, we love to see it. She's just, she's a star. And I know she's like a star in real life, but she is a star on this show. Yeah. But let's get to some questions. This is interesting from Diane and Jerry. Do you agree, Kelly, oh, you set us up.
Starting point is 00:59:17 I know what you're doing. You try to make us agree without even reading the question first. That's smart. Well done. Do you agree Kelly is dragging the issue with Porsche? No. Not yet. Porsche reinsights it.
Starting point is 00:59:33 Yeah, no, I could see it. And look, anytime you have an issue with Porsche, it's going to get dragged on, for, you know, whether it's her or somebody else, we've seen that time and time again. But not right now. I don't agree with that. Yeah. That's how I answer that question. No, and, yeah, do you agree?
Starting point is 00:59:51 But, yeah, I think the other part of it is, you know, Porsche is the one that started the beef this season. She's the one that brought up the after show, which, yeah, Kelly threw the first stone. Sure. But Porsche brought it to relevancy now. So no, I don't think she's dragging it yet, yet. Check back in a few episodes. We'll see. I could see how that would play, but yes.
Starting point is 01:00:13 Yes. Not yet. From J. Bay, the Hut 713, Angela the Potster this season. Yeah, I can definitely see that. I can see that she's in a good position. I do actually think that, and we agreed last year, I think that her and Fager could actually be really good friends and be a really good force on this show.
Starting point is 01:00:31 They just have to be able to clear up that ship from last season. It seems like they have. I'm going to take their word for it, hope that they've moved on, but Angela looks and feels like such a better, like, version of her. And she was already great last year, but she feels like such a better version of herself from last year where she just has a different level of confidence and she can do all of those things. So yeah, I can see her be the potster, not only the potster, but also like an integral part
Starting point is 01:00:53 to the show. Yeah, I agree. From Janice Ingram 360, no question just to comment. I'm very happy they are exploring the black history of country music. I agree. I think it's so fascinating. And there's so much history there if you want to do some extra research. The influence that black culture has had on all music is super fascinating.
Starting point is 01:01:16 And if you take it back, there is influence in literally every genre that you listen to today. So I'm glad that we're finally getting into it a little bit, learning more about the history of black people in country music, because it is super fascinating and very, very relevant to the current sound of country music. And that's where I think it's super interesting. if you go back, like the banjo was literally based off of a West African instrument. Yeah. So like there's so much more there.
Starting point is 01:01:45 I love that they're doing that. I agree, Janice, good call. Yeah, I'm sure there's still some whites out there that are like, why are they doing this? This is our country music. Fuck off. Although they're probably not watching Atlanta, to be honest. If they are, they're probably doing that.
Starting point is 01:02:00 It's those people that when you ask, it's so funny and like a not funny. way, but like, if you ask people, what housewife shows do you watch? So many times. So many times. I just don't watch Atlanta or Potomac. Oh, that's interesting. That's interesting, Karen. Why not?
Starting point is 01:02:20 Yeah. Hmm. Yeah. So anyways. I stopped watching Roney in season 15. Yeah. Something along those lines. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:02:28 Exactly. Yeah. It's never, never a good answer. Yeah. Last one. Yep. Go for it. from Charles 96.
Starting point is 01:02:37 I love this one. Kay Michelle is giving Jim from the office every time she looks at the camera. Roa is back. I do love that. Her subtle breaks in the fourth wall because I think since she's so relatable, she's like speaking for us and like our reactions and scenes. So I like that she acknowledges us at home. Like you guys,
Starting point is 01:02:56 you're picking this up too, right? And I'm like, yeah, okay, I got you. I feel the same way, dude. We feel the same way. Oh, boy. that's look if they can continue this bravo might be back for fuck's sake they they're hitting on all cylinders right now we'd like to remind you guys anytime we're in a good spot take it all in okay enjoy the shows on right now because it will not be like this forever yeah but that's all i got you got anything else nope all good here well i'm gonna go eat more wanton lasagna uh in dream of chicken and waffles but that's our show.
