Man, you know that they are nervous about this show when they break the glass and pull out Alexis Bellino and Johnny Jay.
I never thought we were going to see old Johnny Jay again.
I mean, of course they're going to be at the beck and call of whoever invited them.
I don't think this is the show.
I think this is Tamara inviting Alexis and John to get a reaction out of Shannon,
who has been so stoic in not falling for every Tamara trap all season.
And this one didn't work either.
At least we don't think so because we did get it to be continued.
But right now, not working.
As there's a drive in a deep left field by Castellanos.
Oh, man, it's 8 o'clock.
And so that'll make it a...
I don't need the spotlight.
I shine just fine.
Hi, I'm karma.
And yes, I am a bitch.
Brob Bros.
Good evening, everybody, and welcome back to another episode of Brob Bros.
Your favorite podcast from the Bros for everybody,
for whoever wants to listen.
I your co-host,
Neil Russell, joined as always
by the one and only,
the delightful Rosie Goots,
Mold Arndt County Magooter.
What's up?
Let's talk about our favorite show
in the world,
not just on Bravo,
on planet Earth.
Real Housewives of Orange County.
We're getting so much
Shane and Emily content.
This show's dead.
It's over.
I can't.
I'm trying to have a positive disposition
just so I don't lead off.
Every episode.
negative because I'm sure it's not fun to hear it's just be like,
blah, blah,
this was the episode.
This show's dead.
Like RIP Rosi,
here lies real housewise of Orange County,
capped off by Tamara's response to Ultimate Girl's Trip by inviting every single OG.
This was her white party.
This was her version of the white party in Orange County because she's so pissed that
Vicky got the call instead of her.
So she pulls everybody out of the Rolodex, including John Jansen and Alexis
Bolino.
I agree with you.
I don't think, I'm sure production was stoked, like, oh, yes, it's a great idea.
But I agree.
I think that she's rattled because Shannon is not rattled.
And she's like, you know what would work?
Alexis Bolino, you know, it won't.
It won't.
I don't think Shannon's going to give a shit if they really don't.
No, she doesn't.
Actually, the funny thing is you want to put a positive.
bit on this. I actually enjoyed the last like seven minutes of the episode. I thought it was fun.
I thought it was good. I thought there was weird camaraderie, which we don't typically see on
this show, especially at this juncture of the season. Like we're what, 12, 13 episodes in?
Usually there's a, are you sure? Are you sure?
Are you sure?
I'm not really sure. Honestly, I throw numbers out there all the time. I'm never really right.
But usually there's a clear divide in the group by this point. I would thought it was kind of
nice that everybody kind of had Shannon's back. Everybody kind of had Heather's back at some
point to when Heather came back after that exchange, which we'll talk about later too.
I think that was a little bit of smoke and mirrors, a little bit of camera magic.
But either way, even to Tamara inviting Alexis, I get why she did it.
There's nothing here.
We've got nothing, not one thing.
And that will tell you everything you need to know about why we're spending so much time
talking about Travis's balls and Travis's engagement.
And then we go over, we have to talk about Shane and Emily, which is just, it's not interesting.
it's also uncomfortable.
And dare I say it,
I'm on Shane's side after these conversations.
I mean,
it's tough to deny.
But I don't even want to pick aside because I don't care.
I just simply do not give a shit about any of the other things going on.
Carmela's fun.
She could do well in a better cast and a better show.
I did actually see somebody said back in 2014,
they were going to do Real Housewives of San Diego.
And Carmela was going to be on it.
But that failed after, you know,
one test episode.
So maybe this is her calling.
Maybe this is where she should be.
I agree.
I think that she should be in some capacity as a housewife,
but not with this show.
I mean,
this is just,
it's tough.
There's nothing going.
I'm still like cheering for Heather.
I'm cheering for Carmela.
I like the Shannon that we've gotten this year.
Tamara,
obviously there's nothing to go off of.
So I don't think I like Tamara,
but she's not doing anything that's pissing me off because there's nothing to do
that could piss me off at this point.
The show is just, it's dead.
Like, it really is.
There's just no energy.
There's nothing here.
Look, we'll put it this way, since we're not just skewering the show right now.
There are likable people on this cast.
I agree.
This has been my favorite Shannon.
I think we've ever gotten, which is shocking.
But I really do.
I like the mediating role she played.
I think it's funny.
I like that she's not taking the bait.
Because if she did, none of the things that Tamara's trying to set up and poker with are like
fun. It's not like, oh, yeah, take the bait, get in that one. Carmelah has been a breath of fresh air.
I do think that she's a good fit for a show, not this show, but a show. But because they have
somehow centered this show around Gina and Emily, I don't know how we got here. I don't know
who thought that was a good idea. I don't know if it just happened because you have what I think
genuinely. When you look at this cast of characters across the board.
Shannon, Heather Carmela, the three that we like, right?
You can't center a show around them because they don't care.
Like Heather's not going to go all in for this show.
She's not going to be the HBIC.
She doesn't want that role.
Shannon, you can't do that.
We tried to put her more at the forefront and it doesn't go well.
She can't handle that.
Carmela is new.
And then the rest is whatever.
Jen, they tried to do that with her last year a little bit,
making her more important.
It didn't work out.
So you went to the two most.
camera hungry people. That's never a good idea. Don't go for the people that are clamoring to be on
screen. They're never going to deliver. And all of I'm getting, and I'll talk more about it when we get
to the Persian party, especially the beginning of the Persian party, because all I'm now getting,
Gina is whatever, okay? Like literally, Gina, whatever, don't care. She's irrelevant. I don't even get
mad at Gina's scenes any. I'm just like, I'm going to look at my phone for a while.
Emily's a bad person.
Okay.
And like this show is highlighting that Emily's just not very cool and not like cool fun to hang out.
Like she's not nice.
I think she's mean.
I think she's self-centered.
I think that she puts on for the camera in a way that is detrimental to her children.
I think that she doesn't listen to Shane and what he needs at all.
I think if you look at the Shane and Emily situation and just we go off of evidence, right?
like what we see on the screen.
I agree with you.
Like what we're getting,
if we're going to list off like Emily's gripes and grievances versus Shane's gripes and grievances,
it sounds like he's holding down the home front while you go and do your thing.
Now,
there's nothing wrong with that.
If you're making the money,
you're the breadwinner and he's taking care of the home said totally fine.
I have no issue there.
But from what it sounds like,
you don't do anything at home.
And then not only that.
you reprimand Shane for doing everything at home and then not doing what you want to do or not you don't like that he goes home like he drops the kids off he takes him home to put him to sleep you want him to leave them there what's he supposed to do emily like i don't understand how he gets shit for doing the stuff that needs to be done at the house like why are you going to get mad at him because he's not living a social life it's very confusing it is
And we've gotten to that part of the territory where we've been saying this for years,
ever since she started talking about her home life in a not so great light,
whether it be Shane or start talking about Luke,
it's a dangerous place to be.
You don't want to do that.
If you want more camera time,
there's a litmus test.
There's an entire field of housewives that have that role on a show where we don't really know
or really care about what's going on in your home life.
Just mix it up.
have some fun do some weird shit stir the a little bit that's all you really have to do
once you cross that threshold into all right let's check in to see what's going at home
and you want to start spinning this narrative and bringing your kids into it bringing your marriage
into it it's not going to be a good look she has now crossed the threshold into the territory
of now we're looking at you like you're bad you're doing a lot of shit here that it's just not good
i mean you're the way you're talking to Shane the way that Shane explains things then the way that
you immediately start talking about Luke but then you kind of change your
tune a little bit and say, well, I'd really like you to have more of a social life.
Like it sucks that you had to leave the party and you couldn't even come back.
It's like, what did you want him to do?
You've now painted a picture of your 11 year old son who is quote unquote throwing a tirade
and your husband had to go pick him up to take him home and make sure he's okay.
We now know way too much about this child.
So it makes total sense that Shane's going home and staying with your son and making sure that
he's cool.
You want him to come back out and you want like, what, a babysitter to come over?
I don't know.
You've done so much damage to your own, like, image that now you're kind of spinning it again,
and it doesn't make any sense.
So at this point, I mean, I don't know what to tell you.
You probably should have kept your mouth shut like a season and a half ago, but he's kept going.
So I have no help for Emily, and I really don't care for her.
Gina is, if I'm putting everybody in boxes, which, you know, I'm going to do anyway,
and it's not just because it's O.C.
And we already started off the season with boxes.
Gina and like Jen are in the same box like I don't care they're boring they really are just boring like they're not housewives
Whether Jen has too much going on in her life and she can't perform I don't know but she's never really done anything for me
Gina has never done anything for me and she just got to bothers me more than anything but at this point I don't even care about her anymore
There's a show where you can have Heather Carmelah tamra Shannon and maybe vicky there was as you see the rumors that vicky uh denied or well vicky has now denied them but vicky
apparently had said that she wasn't going to come back next season.
She was asked to come back.
She said no.
And then two days later, she said, no, I never said that.
So there might be something, some truth somewhere in there that maybe she doesn't want to come back.
Makes a lot of sense based on what we're seeing play out.
But you can build a show around those other people and actually put interesting housewives in there.
The other three, Emily, Gina, Jen, just go.
Get out.
There's nothing to do.
Yeah.
Like, you could even talk me into keeping Gina and just keep you on the side.
Like I don't want to.
Don't get me wrong.
And I have a lot more to say about Emily when we get to that scene.
I just don't want to front load the episode with, you know, talking about all of that
bullshit.
It's so fucking confusing.
But it's really not when you really break it down.
We're going to talk about how we get there.
But anyway, let's jump into this episode.
And we start out with Gina and Emily.
Of course.
Naturally.
Gina, Emily and Shannon.
And they're recapping the party and the dug of it all.
And it's like, oh, there's nothing there.
There's still nothing there.
They do bring up the fact that we talked about a lot with Vicky and Carmela at the end of that conversation.
There was still no like, you know what?
I'm sorry, Carmela.
Somehow it flipped and Vicki was the villain.
Or sorry, Vicky was the victim in that whole thing.
So Carmela still is owed a conversation.
I would like to think that she has gotten her bearings enough that she's going to press at the right time,
especially with Vicky, I feel like you can derail an episode by trying to press her at the wrong time.
Not that, you know, we're not going to derail it somewhere else anyway.
It doesn't fucking matter.
But I do think that that conversation is coming somewhere in the future.
But this whole episode centers around one thing.
I can't even say with a straight face.
Because when Emily starts talking, I'm like, oh, God.
Like, I roll.
I sometimes worry about Shane and if he's happy.
Newsflash.
He's fucking nuts.
Neither are you.
What are we doing?
Don't sit here and talk about this like we're trying to figure out what's going on between you two.
You guys are objectively miserable.
Guess what?
Not by context clues.
You literally say this in confessionals.
You guys both talk about how you don't like each other and that neither of you are giving the other person what
they need.
So I don't need to start this whole thing.
And then we get a clip of you two being miserable.
You didn't say goodbye.
well I was mad at you yeah but you go all the time you don't say goodbye oh no this this was like this was a hard launch of Emily now realizing like ah I guess I'll just talk about this this is what we're going to do we're going to talk about me and Shane why I don't get it like the wheel starts spinning immediately and you can see it in the scene which he drops it's like oh fuck no like I know we've been kind of dancing
around it. We have a lot of uncomfortable scenes between the two of you, but we can endure that.
You dropping that to Gina. Now we're going to actually talk about it. We're going to actively
get invested in this. We're going to dissect it. We're going to have long drawn out scenes with the two
of you talking that makes you look even worse. I don't want to do it. Don't do that to us. How dare you
do that to us? And in the midst of a season like this, like I would be furious if it was finally a good
OC season and then Emily drops that bomb. It's like, please don't spend too much time on this.
and then I'd be worried for the rest of the season.
This is somehow worse because we have nothing to go off of
and I understand why she's doing it.
It's like everybody's kind of scrambling in their own right
except for maybe Carmela and Heather because Heather doesn't give a shit
and Carmel is new so she doesn't really understand.
But everybody else is kind of scrambling in their own right.
If this is what Emily's going to do when she scrambles is,
you know, let's talk more about my marriage.
We're both unhappy.
Maybe we can get a couple of scenes of like a couple's therapist or something in there.
Please don't.
Please don't do that to us.
Do not subject us to that action.
A bravo therapist.
with those two.
We already have a thing with Bravo therapists.
I think out of like the 10 that we've seen,
I think one of them has been sufficiently good at their job
and didn't seem like they wanted to be on camera.
I forget who that was that.
Erica Jane's.
Yeah,
a pretty solid actual therapist.
But yeah,
no, God,
no.
That sounds worse than like sitting in a room
where someone just drags a fork across
a chalkboard for an hour and a half.
Just, no, God.
No, miss me.
Please miss me with that bullshit.
But Tamara and Vicky are going to get a scan,
and I'm not trying to read too much into this.
How did you feel about when she said,
if me and Teddy were going to get these scans.
Originally, Teddy bowed out.
Had she not, they would have found the tumors.
Do you think that that's just like, hey,
make sure you get tested?
or that felt kind of weird to me?
I mean, I don't really want to like throw her to the bus because I think me neither.
I genuinely think that she actually is kind of reeling from the whole teddy thing.
I took it a little bit more like a positive inflection almost.
Like you know what?
Like if I keep looking back to that, it's almost like you and your best friend are going to go do something.
And then something terrible happens.
It's like, what if we did that?
Would it have done that?
Like she might be beating herself up over it almost.
Okay.
So now she's.
even saying that. And look, it's very easy, and I'm not like making excuses for Tamara
to look at Tamara and be like, everything she does is for the show. Her life is the show.
That's how she works. But for that, like, that actually made sense to me in a weird, like,
you know what? I better go do this because I know that if Teddy and I had done this years ago,
it could have saved her life. Or, no, obviously, it could have made things a lot easier for her.
But now I want to make sure I'm on top of it. I didn't really find anything wrong with it.
Okay. I just, that's why I didn't jump to conclusions. Just wanted to ask how you felt about it.
I will say the irony of, you know, being sensitive to people's medical things and being concerned about other people and then taking Vicki's brain scan and airing it out to the group is very interesting.
It's an interesting move by Tamara.
What I will say is this, because obviously they sit down and we're scanning their brains and Vicki's got some white spots that may have been brought on.
She went to sepsis last year.
So may have been brought on by that.
Doctor says it's probably not Alzheimer's related, which she's concerned about.
Her dad had Alzheimer's onset at 59 years old, so she's worried.
Totally understandable.
Totally get that.
It's super slimy to do what Tamara did.
I will say this.
Given this move and the Alexis Bolino John Jansen, she is fucking scrambling.
She is trying to find anything to throw at the wall.
because she they have nothing.
She knows she's looking at the show.
We give Tamara credit all the time for being good at her job.
She's looking at the product right now and literally going,
I've got nothing.
I have nothing.
So you know what?
Vicki's got brain damage.
There you go.
Yeah.
To me it was almost like there's two ways to look at it.
Like yes, I think it's fucked up to do that and tell everybody.
But it's almost as if she was trying to do it because she knows everybody's been
having issues of Vicky and trying to explain her behavior.
And she's like, hey, you know what?
Defending Vicki.
She has spots on her brain.
It could be that.
She thinks she has brain damage.
I don't know.
Maybe that's what's going on.
I mean,
I more so think it's closer to what you just laid out.
I do think that Tamara has nothing and the show has nothing.
So again,
I don't blame her.
It's not her fault.
And I,
and Tamara is the type of person where she will choose a storyline or a show thing.
because she's done it so many times in the past
where it almost makes sense to me that she was saying
I can kind of do whatever the fuck I want to people
that I hold in high regard as close friends
and we'll get back together within a year or so
like what's a year or two of not being friends
to have a really good moment on this show
so it's almost sort of like in line with that
where she doesn't even think about the repercussions
she just wants to talk about something like hey
maybe this will get Vicki going
she's just trying to ignite Vicky in a way of like
hey welcome back get involved
I'm going to get you involved right now
because I'm going to talk about your brain spots
and we're going to see how that goes.
Let me tell everybody and they're going to bring it up
and then you're going to be pissed at me.
And it just seems like every time this season anyway,
the timer's done something along these lines,
very different things,
but along these lines,
it never plays out how she thinks it is.
Like she's just been trying to rile shat it up,
not working.
She tries to rile Vicky up.
This one pretty much doesn't even work
because I don't know where the fuck Mickey is.
She's off in Pluto somewhere.
So it's just not working.
Everything the timer does.
It's got to be frustrated for her.
You can tell.
And I think that she's trying to,
to figure out a way to just ignite the group.
I don't think it's even gunning for one person anymore.
I think she's just like somebody do something.
It's the meme of the stick figure poking the other stick to do something.
Somebody do something.
But it's just not working.
But Heather and Terry are always a delightful reprieve.
Just these little breaks.
We get to check in with them.
And Terry is on the phone with his mom.
Mom doesn't like her new place.
I guess she is 92 with Alzheimer's.
So he's going through his own thing.
you just have a nice moment between the two where Heather's like,
I hear that you marry your unfinished business because Terry,
you needed family.
I gave you family.
And hearing the whole thing about Heather thinking she wasn't smart because her parents
label the kids,
that's sad.
That made me sad.
Her mom,
I don't like to be mean about moms,
but like,
it's a very strange relationship.
Heather's family dynamics,
I wish there was a show about the Dubros and like that whole.
thing i would watch the shit out of that there will be it's going to be called next gen l a where
she's going to get probably two of her kids on that show in some capacity and then her and terry
are going to be on it but i i mean i agree this is getting over to just individual scenes with
heather and her family seems like a show within a show like i never want to turn that off i want
to turn the rest of it off because it is very interesting like i do want to see how they live i do
want to see the things that they do and every time that it comes up i know that you know we're a couple
years removed from the Disneyland paparazzi fiasco.
But every time that the two of them were on screen,
like it's just,
it's lovely,
like watching them talk about Terry's mom and then talk about Heather's mom.
And then they come back and they're like,
well,
what are we going to do?
It's just our moms.
Like,
we always have each other.
Like,
okay,
that's really nice.
There's like a sweet sentiment in almost every one of their scenes where it's like,
okay,
this is real.
This is good.
This is how you guys actually live.
You guys actually love each other.
I look forward to seeing your TikToks,
Heather.
And then you get back to the rest of the,
the garbage heap.
that the rest of this show is bringing.
It's like, oh, God.
Everything's just so overproduced.
It's almost like a completely different show when you get a scene like this.
Yeah, it's authentic.
And I don't know what to do with it.
I'm like, I'll watch this.
I'll enjoy this.
Wow, that's weird.
I feel nice.
And then it ends.
I'm like, oh, no, there's Emily's face.
Damn it.
Which takes us to the Persian dinner.
Now, the in-laws, this whole thing is starting to paint a picture for me, by the way.
The in-laws have parties, like big parties every year.
You're one of the biggest ones is this Persian party.
I guess her mother-in-law was raised in Tehran.
So she likes to share the culture.
It's like a big bash.
Their house is fucking nuts, by the way.
I started to pick up on why she's with shame.
Things are starting to click, which should have clicked a long time ago.
But you know what the craziest fucking thing in the world is?
The most ludicrous, I texted you.
And I think that she was brought up needy.
a long time ago, and I will acknowledge that there could be a part of this where she's not
being filmed.
Emily's got a fucking stepdaughter.
And the stepdaughter, what?
No, she is too.
Well, the older one I don't think has ever been mentioned, but this, the, I don't remember
their names, but the younger daughter that they've mentioned here.
Yeah, Chanel has popped up a couple times here and there for like family events, but isn't
really spoken of. So I don't, I don't even know if it's like, look, I want to condemn Emily as much
as I possibly can. But once you get into like the step siblings and like stepkids and things
like that, there's a chance that the other side of the family is like, no, fuck off. You're not
on that show. We're not including you in anything. You can go to the party and then we'll stay away
from the cameras the whole time. So maybe she just doesn't even talk about her. I don't know.
It's just that I'm with you. The- You take the picture of all of us and the grandparents,
but you're not in the picture. Get out of here. Yeah. Yeah. The whole thing is very bizarre.
I just painting the picture of why she's with Shane, that was one of the funnier things that you've ever said.
Because I think that's the only reason she's with Shane.
I think we've always known that.
I always forget how much money Shane has and how much money he comes from.
I don't think it's not.
We've had the discussion about Shane's parents kind of like financing their lives for five years.
But I think you forget.
I honestly, I think you forget because you hate Emily and don't care about Emily.
much that you almost might just be like, yeah, this isn't useful.
I'm just getting rid of it.
And then when it comes back on the show, you're like, ah, that's why.
Like, yeah.
It is an episode about Alzheimer's.
so maybe you're having a little hard time here.
I don't know, dude.
It's just, I think I block out everything.
So then when it happens, I'm like, oh, yeah, right.
That's why you guys are together, at least part of it.
It almost feels like both of them got to that.
You know those packs that people make like, hey, if we're 40 and we're still single,
let's get married when you're like 30.
I think that's what happened.
Hey, we know each other.
Your parents have money.
Let's get married or something.
Could be.
I mean, I really have no idea.
I don't get it.
Shane getting confessionals, even though like I'm somewhat on his side.
I don't want to see him talk to the camera.
Why does he have a confessional?
Why is he in a shirt and tie?
What's going on?
on there. I don't know. Actually, two things you can't wear, you're not allowed to wear leather
pants and you're not allowed to wear a leather jacket. Those are the two things that you are not allowed
to wear as a weird housewife husbands on a show like this. But I also don't need him to have a
confessional. It just doesn't make any sense to me and I don't need more information. I get more
than enough from the scenes that the two of you have together and the scenes that you have with your
families. I just don't care. Yeah. And the rest of the party, I mean,
mean the beginning of this whole thing.
Vicky's upset. She's cold-shouldering Tamara because Tamara, by the way, when you go to the scene
of where Tamara's telling people about the brain spots, if we remember what the doctor said,
there's some small white spots here that weren't present last time.
Tamara, there's big giant spots everywhere.
She's losing it.
She's got brain damage.
So it's not protective friend.
It's her legit trying to throw things at the wall.
and then Tamara goes to a confessional.
And this is like peak Tamara.
This is what she does.
She takes something and runs with it.
And she then goes to a confessional and goes,
I didn't think she had brain damage.
It wasn't that deep.
Okay.
Like that's where she loses me.
She's an enigma.
Like I do not understand how she can go through
what her best friend's been going through.
And then turn it and say,
I'm just so sad.
and that really caught me off guard,
but then immediately given a chance to go get brain scans
with another one of your best friends,
you divulge the information right away and make a joke of it?
Like,
you could have convinced me that sort of in a weird,
twisted way,
it was her trying to kind of help Vicky.
Like, look, she's going through a lot.
There's,
you know,
we don't really know what's going on with her and Michael.
And Michael was at this party,
which is very funny.
Or no,
he was at this party?
Was he at the weed thing?
I think it was at the weed thing at the end.
Either way.
Yeah, who the fuck cares?
But like, you could convince me that she was trying to do it to, like, help out Vicky's image in the rest of the group to be like, hey, look, she's going through a lot.
We just got brain scans.
She had sepsis last year.
She's a little worried about that.
And maybe she doesn't say the words like, hey, back off of her or like let her go for a little bit.
But she does it.
And then it goes to her confessional.
And she's like, it wasn't that deep.
That means it's a joke.
That means you're making light of your friend's brain situation after you went through all the shit with Teddy.
That doesn't make any sense.
That's not computer.
into here, Tamara.
That's Tamara.
She does not compute.
And if you ask her about that, she would spin it into something totally different.
That doesn't make any sense because that's what she does, especially now when she has nothing to work with.
So that's another thing.
It's like, all right, you have nothing to work with.
So you're going to take Vicki's brain scan and throw that at people.
That's kind of weird.
We are.
But you get more throughout the party of Emily just being a shitty person.
Annabelle, like I just want her to understand.
how it comes across the way she discusses her kids.
Annabelle's like knocking on the window.
She makes a comment about the food she's eating.
Didn't like that.
Says to her friends.
Gosh, she's a lot.
They're your fucking kids, dude.
Like, even if you're going through it and they're like pissing you off,
you would never hear me shame my children, let alone on fucking TV.
The fact that she takes her phone later and scrolls it for the camera for the amount of times that Luke texted her,
like, what are you doing?
Are you deliberately trying to embarrass your kids for a fucking storyline?
Because it's so embarrassing to watch her just do the things that she does.
And then she wants to go to confessionals and get emotional and cry because of the shame situation.
It's like, well, the way that you treat the people and your family from what I've seen, kids included, not great.
Not great at all.
I have a lot more for this later, but not great, Emily.
No, the Luke thing with the text messages was almost, it almost.
kind of struck me in a way of, do you guys think I'm lying? Do you think I'm lying about how much
you text me and like, it bombards me? Here, check it out. That's worse. No, we don't think you're lying.
We're telling you to stop talking about it because you shouldn't be talking about your kid in this way.
We don't need evidence, nor do we want evidence. We want you to shut up. We want you to almost,
I don't know, like in a different world, she would just be going to her confessional and she would
just be having scenes constantly talking to Shane about how tough it is to do.
deal with and go through all of the things that Luke is going through.
And you could do it in a compassionate way.
And I think a lot of people would understand and be like, yeah, we get the frustration.
It's okay.
And like you're showing us your life, whatever.
I would still be in the side of like, hey, don't do this because he's going to grow up
and see it as we talk about all the time.
But I would understand it a little better.
She can't really land anywhere.
She's not landing in any fucking puddle saying, hey, this is how I feel about it.
It's like one minute it's a joke.
One minute it's aggravation.
One minute, it's, oh, well, was me.
And the other minute, it's, it's Shane's fault because he's doing that.
And then Shane turns it on her and says, like, you're just kind of coddling them.
So, like, I just don't know what she wants to do with this.
I don't know what she wants us to do with this information.
It doesn't make any sense because there's no clear strategy as to why the fuck she's bringing this up.
No, and it just looks like, it looks like shit on her, nobody else.
Yeah, it's not, I'm not looking at your family and going, wow, yeah, you're right.
I'm on your team, Emily.
I'm looking at your family going, wow, you're talking shit about everybody in your family.
What a weird thing to do, especially with kids involved, but whatever.
And you get Vicky and Tamara leaving.
People are still talking about the Vicky thing.
They're trying to make the Vicky thing a thing where, look, yes, she is saying one thing and doing another.
She is talking shit, then retracting the shit talking.
She won't sit there and have a conversation about it.
You can't press her about it or she shuts down and says, I'll play the quiet game, all of those things.
I don't know what's going on with Vicki.
I don't know why she's incapable of doing her job.
What I do know, just because you keep putting the camera in her face and trying to make this happen is not going to make this happen.
Watching her and Tamara walk out of the party and like, I'm not mad, let's just clear the air.
Why aren't you mad?
You should be mad.
Tamara took your medical diagnosis and aired it out to everybody.
You shouldn't have to go outside and say, I just want to clear the air.
Like, there should be more there, but there's not.
And then those two kumbaya out of the party, they're fine.
So all of that, all of this brain talk, all of the scan amounts to this.
This is the epitome of this season.
Here's a moment.
Here's somebody running with the moment.
And the moment's dead.
And we got nothing from it.
Like, it just flop city.
Every single thing that they try.
try to make happen is just a big flop.
And I'm getting sick and tired of floppy OC.
Let me tell you.
Yeah.
Literally everything, every time that they turn,
every time that they try to talk about something new,
it's like, why are you bringing this up?
Why is your,
is your pocket so fucking like empty of anything to talk about?
Is your life, I shouldn't even say pocket?
Is your life so empty that you have nothing to talk about?
Are all of your lives so empty that you have nothing to talk about?
The only person I'm giving a pass on is Shadden.
And it's only because I think we all kind of find her a little bit more tolerable
because she's not falling for all the time or stuff and she's not spiraling and freaking out.
She's also not really doing the whole, oh my God, I'm so wacky.
I just fell over type of shit.
She's just doing normal things and avoiding that and being a little bit nicer and mediating a couple different things.
But no one has anything.
Like I don't understand how you can be on a show for this long for some of them and not realize like,
Oh, fuck.
Like, we're about to start filming.
Do I have anything interesting going on?
No, I don't.
And I don't know who to condemn the people.
Do I condemn the people that are still on the show year in and year out?
Or do I condemn the producers and the casting people?
Probably those people.
But then they kind of hit on a Carmela thing.
So it's almost like I want to move back over and say, hey, Gina and Emily, you've been on the show for a long time.
You guys got to be sweating.
Maybe they're not sweating anymore.
But I imagine that every season you guys are sweating your position.
Do something.
Have something.
I don't care what the hell you do, but do something.
and then when they do something, it actually ends up being worse than them not doing anything at all.
So I just, I don't know.
I don't think anybody's enjoying the show anymore from what I understand.
And this is the reason.
It's all about the personnel on the show.
You guys didn't make any changes except for bringing Carmela in.
You thought that was going to fix your Gina and Emily problem?
No.
And Vicki, you bring back and you're like, wow, yeah, plug and play.
She's been off the screen for a long time.
She hasn't filmed anything for years.
Let's get her at a good time when she's struggling to get passport and citizenship and getting back into the
United States. And oh, by the way, she's got a new relationship. We're not really sure about that one.
Let's see how it plays out. Oh, also, by the way, she's a little worried because she had sepsis last
year. Like, great timing on that one. The whole thing is just a complete and utter disaster the entire
season. Sure is, but it does set up the Japan trip to Tokyo where they all dress his anime characters
in a very questionable moment in this show's history, which we, I'm not anime. I don't think they're
doing it. Yeah, I don't want to condemn anime because I like anime, but I'm not going to
I don't want OC and anime in the same sentence.
Let's just say they definitely appropriate culture.
They culturally appropriate the culture.
Yes.
Sorry.
I won't disparage anime.
My bad.
Thank you.
I appreciate it.
You're welcome.
You're welcome.
Well, let's get to Carmela and Jen.
And this is more about the house thing.
Here's the thing.
This was a thing 10 episodes ago.
I forgot this was a thing.
You don't have any connection from when this became a thing.
And now we show up at the house.
Why?
Because here's the thing.
You had people talking about it.
Emily was questioning what was going on.
Gina had a problem with it.
Vicky had a problem with it.
We get no buildup, no discussions, no conversations, no conversations to the point that I genuinely,
I'm not fucking with you.
For God about this whole thing.
Oh yeah,
she's giving Jen $20,000 to pick out finishings.
Then we get to the house for what?
What the fuck was this?
Hey,
can you do this?
Yeah.
I don't really have an eye for it.
No,
but it inspires me to do something.
Seen.
Fuck you.
Like,
I don't get it.
I'm so with you.
I think even though it was popping up and I'm like,
yeah, there's some questions here.
And yeah, it kind of reads into Carmelah.
And yeah, you can bring Jen into it and like get her involved in some way.
Everybody had feelings on it 10 episodes ago, which is probably like seven weeks of filming
ago.
No one cares anymore.
Why are we doing like logistically speaking?
Yeah, maybe Carmela didn't have a property at that time.
And then she acquired a new property.
And now she's bringing Jen in.
So yeah, business wise, I guess it makes sense.
But then when Jen gets there, I'm like, fuck, you could have done this 10 episodes ago.
You could have had Carmela and Jen do this.
And then Jen having a conversation with an Emily or Gina saying, yeah, you know, I got there and I was just like super overwhelmed.
I don't know what the fuck I'm doing.
I don't have an eye for this.
I don't know why Carmela tapped me in.
And then we can go to Carmela and she can say, look, I feel like Jen's a good person.
I think I can kind of show her the ropes and maybe it'll give her a new career choice.
And that would be the end of that one.
But then we could kind of dig into like, why is any of this going on?
Jen doesn't have an eye for this.
Jen isn't going to be able to thrive in this industry.
What the fuck is going on here?
and spend a couple episodes talking about it.
This does nothing for us now.
I mean, it was almost more infuriate.
I would have actually rathered we got to this.
And it's like, oh, yeah, we're doing this again.
And all of a sudden, it's Jen picking out just top of the line shit.
Like, oh, yeah, I've got that.
I've got that.
And then we can kind of just put it to bed.
Like, oh, that was actually kind of nice.
We went full circle on that.
Looks like Jen may have picked up a new thing.
Carmela's really helping her out.
I like to see that.
Women helping women.
Cool.
Let's move on.
But the fact that Jed didn't know what the fuck she was doing
and then spent the whole time talking about how inspirational Carmelah is was crazy to me
because we could have actually talked about that 10 episodes ago.
Now, if you go back to the rest of the women with this and we have another scene,
I doubt they're going to care.
It's not that there's anything going on.
It's just recency bias.
There's nothing going on.
This has been seven weeks of fucking nothing.
I don't really want to talk about this right now.
So they'll move on pretty quickly.
It was just so stupid.
It wasn't even a filler scene because it actually correlated to something that we had a problem with
a long time ago.
And now you're giving it to us and showing us that there could have been a problem,
but we're never going to get there.
Yeah, I'll feed your baby birds.
Just got to wait 10 weeks.
Here it is, the payoff.
What a payoff.
Oh, God.
Well, I thought it was very funny that we get a cut scene of somebody missing a punt.
Yeah.
And then we get to Shane and Emily.
I was like, I don't know if that was intentional, but I would like to think it is.
Now, these are the scenes that we've talked about for years, and it's only getting worse.
And we have to go check in with these two.
You have to let the dogs, and I don't have to do anything.
Oh, God.
Like, I don't want to see two people that hate each other in the same house where kids are involved.
And this isn't like the fun kind of like jab back and forth.
Like, oh, you know, they love each other, but they hate each other.
you guys do not care for one another.
You don't want to be in the same room, let alone in the same house.
You say as much in this scene.
Emily says verbatim, we're living the same nightmare and don't know why we're here.
Then fucking leave, dude.
Like, end this.
End it for us.
I can't stand it anymore.
And that's when we get into the party.
Shane's like, it just sets the scene.
Did you go back to your mom's help clean up?
I did.
You didn't, did you?
Nope. And you get a picture, right? Like it paints this whole picture. I'll just give the whole
seed so we can then talk about it. Emily shows her phone and it's Luke texting her. I don't know how many
times. I guess the faucet was turned on. He lost it and he started to send these text messages.
I'm not entirely sure. Now, Shane says something here that is interesting. And he said this
many a time in these awkward fucking scenes.
He puts on a bit of a show for you.
So now, because you keep force-feeding me this bullshit,
now I am going to read too far into it.
Now I am going to put on my psychiatrist hat just for a minute.
So, again, if you're the breadwinner and you're out and about doing your thing,
that's fine.
If Shane needs to be the one at home doing his thing, that's fine.
I have no issue with that.
The issue to me seems, given that she's,
has said your kids are putting on an act, that they're starving for attention. When Shane says
many a time, you come home after I've been here all day with the kids, and you go get in bed
and scroll on your phone. Again, that sounds to me like you're not spending time with your kids.
When Annabelle's acting out and not cleaning her room, and then Shane says, hey, go clean your
room, and she cleans her room. And then you throw Annabelle under the bus on TV, say, no, she didn't.
I did. Well, you haven't been home. How did you clean her room?
that to me again says you're not spending time with your kids.
So to wrap all of this up into a bubble in a nice little package or in a box,
since we like to do boxes,
I'll put it in a box.
It sounds like you're an absentee parent that likes to live this high life of being a housewife
out and about in the spotlight and you leave everything,
kids' house to Shane, who is resentful for it, does not like you because of your lack of effort
at the house. Just because you're the breadwinner doesn't mean you put up a big fat zero at home.
And that's what it sounds like you're doing. It sounds like your kids need their mom. And it sounds
like you're not showing the fuck up. And then you're trying to use his diagnosis to defend your
stance of not being home by showing the text messages like you said, putting it all together
to prove it. You guys think I'm lying? Look, that doesn't justify your lack of simply being there.
And that's the one thing I can take away from all this bullshit that you keep forcing us to watch.
You're not there.
You're not doing your job because you're too busy living the high life.
And that was shown when you're at the fucking party at the Persian party.
And you say to Heather's mom, you're invited to every Simpson party here on out.
It's not your house.
You just, all you care about is this status and looking like you have all of this money and fun and being in the spotlight.
go home.
Go home and do something.
Your kids are screaming for you.
This is fucking ridiculous and you use the kids.
Like, shame on you.
Gross.
Yeah, at what point does she not compute that this was going to be a problem?
I don't know.
I don't like Emily.
I've never really thought that she was fucking stupid.
This is fucking stupid.
How are you going to go through all of this
and show those text messages,
talk about your kids,
talk about your husband, have these scenes with your husband, and still come away being like,
look, I mean, Luke's diagnosis is just a lot. It's like it, you're kind of convinced to me that you
don't give a shit, that it's almost like a it's a hamper on your life. That's what you're kind of
giving me right now is, God, my kid is so annoying. And look, I don't know if you're doing that
directly, but the more you talk about it, the more that you force us to have these conversations,
the more that you force the general public who's watching your show,
who's struggling through your show,
to make those assumptions?
At what point do you not just cut it off and be like,
oh, fuck, I didn't.
I kind of thought that people were going to look at me and be like a little sympathetic,
but that's not what's going on here.
You had last year where the whole public was tweeting about you,
talking about all of these things,
putting two and two together.
You were in the comments defending yourself.
How are you going to come back this year and do worse?
You're going to do more?
You're double. This is a triple down at this point. Now you're throwing Shane in there too, which look, yeah, we've always thought that you guys have had a really weird, like almost like a business arrangement type of marriage, which was bizarre. I'm not necessarily saying the chain's a great guy, nor am I saying he's some sort of catch. I'm not absolving him at all. I'm just giving me what we've seen. That's my analysis. He could be able to shit. He gives off like trust fund doesn't do dick with his life. And now he's like, well, my job is my kids, which is great because your kids do need parents. The problem.
is now it's kind of you guys are kind of showing your ass here where Emily's coming back and
being look, I don't know what's going on with these kids. We can put it together because we've
had so many different uncomfortable scenes like you said of Shane telling you, you don't do shit.
You try to act like you do one thing here, one thing there, and then you bring it up in an
argument. You're not doing anything else. I'm doing all the day to day, which again,
under the right circumstances is totally fine. I don't care who the breadwinner is. Go ahead and go
out and make all the money for the family, although we know the majority of your family is coming
from Shane's parents, which is why he's kind of a lump on a log and he's not doing dick.
And now he gets to say, well, I do all of these things for the kid.
And now we've got this thing going.
I uses the analogy of a duck that looks so peaceful.
And then underneath, it's just kick and kick.
I'm the, I'm underneath going like this.
This is me under here.
Emily's up top doing this and she wants everything to look great.
I get that.
I understand that.
It doesn't make me feel bad for Shane either.
I don't give it.
You're being a dad.
Congratulations, buddy.
You are being a father.
You don't have a job.
You live off of your parents and your wife.
Don't tell me that your life sucks because your wife is kind of mean to you.
And Emily,
don't tell me that your life sucks because your child is going through something.
And you're not doing anything about it.
Like, you guys both suck.
I'm not saying either of them win.
But in the grand scheme of things, yeah,
I can understand where Shane's coming from.
I don't understand where Emily's coming from at all.
I can still make fun of Shane,
but I still don't understand where Emily's
coming from at all or what she's trying to accomplish from all this.
The funniest thing about the duck analogy is without saying it, Shane literally,
I'm drowning.
Yeah, literally.
Yeah, he's like, I haven't gotten above water.
I haven't gotten it.
And again, I'm not making light of this, but your job, your one job in life is to take
care of your children.
And they're not of like a very difficult age.
It's not like you're changing diapers every day and you're up at 3 a.m. with like babies.
you've got like two 11 year olds and Annabelle's what 16?
This is supposed to be a little easier.
No, I'm just saying like when somebody says like I've got screaming twins who are one
years old, it's like yeah, that sucks.
They're probably both teething at the same time.
That makes total sense to me.
But you don't have a day job.
You don't go out and work nine to five and come home and take care of the kids while
Emily's doing all these things.
You would totally have me there.
If you had a job and you're saying I do everything for the kids, I go to the office,
office every single day. I come home, make sure they're all good. You come home and get in bed and go on your phone. I'd be like, Shane, fucking divorce her ass right now. You guys are both idiots. You guys are both assholes. So I don't care. I just simply don't care. And if the OC producers are going to make us continue to watch the two of you, I'm not picking aside. I want you both to go to hell. I want you both to separate and stop annoying me on TV. That's what I want. Yeah. And to like build on yours. Yeah. Being a stay at home parent's a full time job.
I'm not saying that it's an easy job by any means, by any stretch of the imagination.
It takes a lot of work.
It's a lot of effort.
But if this is your dynamic, that's what I was saying earlier.
And it's like, yeah, that's fine.
If she's the breadwinner, then that's your job, Shane.
But the way that you guys go about it is quite literally the worst co-parenting ever.
I've ever seen.
Like, there's no communication.
You guys just hate you.
Please just get divorced.
Like, this isn't one of those where it's like, we're staying together for the kids.
There's no way that they are benefiting from this situation.
And there's no way that 16-year-old Annabelle, who will probably see this shit, is going to take something positive away from it.
She's going to go, oh, my God, my parents fucking hate each other.
And my mom keeps talking shit about me on national TV.
there's another
fucking 50 grand for a therapist
like my God
I can't I fucking can't do it anymore
with these two like I
impossible
the hair on the back of my neck stands up
when we get to these scenes
I'm like oh god
it's just depressing as shit
but let's get to Tamara's party
the ultimate girls trip white party
at Tamras this is her version of it
because she's butt her
is that Elizabeth's but yeah
well yeah but you know
it's you know what I mean
The whole thing is to counter the fact that she didn't get to do the ultimate girl's trip.
So her big get back is I'm going to invite everybody from OC, which is fine.
I don't have an issue with it.
It's just very funny that it's quite clear what she's doing with this whole thing.
And it's quite clear what the John Jansen, the Johnny J. and Alexis Bolino thing is.
Like this show, and I agree with you, it's probably Tamara Centric.
She probably was the driving force buying this.
But I do guarantee productions like, ooh, good idea.
they're floundering so hard tamer scrambling so hard
thickie's brain damage didn't do anything that didn't move the needle shannon won't bite
what else do i have in the tank and she was probably scrolling instagram
and like alexis post popped up she's like oh
i'll call alexis but no you know what i'm actually going to say she
it might not even be an ultimate girl's trip thing this is how deep tamer might go
wait I think I was about to say this go go go go she may have invited all of those OC people
to justify Alexis yeah just to like she's like I can't invite all these people and not invite
Alexis I mean she was on the show I have to it's like no no nope nope so maybe it wasn't an ultimate
girl's trip maybe it was just that it was all smoke of mirrors to get to the Alexis thing
to get that pay off that she's so desperately needs that we desperately need to and it amounts
to fucking nothing at least right now I still think it's going to amount to nothing I was yeah
that's so funny.
As you were starting to sound like,
I was like,
my wheels were turned.
I think that's exactly what happened.
It was justification to bring those two back in.
But I truly don't think that it's going to rattle Shannon.
Like,
I really don't.
And like,
you know,
the house,
we talk about the house,
house is cool,
whatever.
Emily makes a stupid comment.
It's like a 70s porn vibe.
Like,
oh, wow,
you just don't vibe with anybody,
huh?
You're just like the worst kind of person.
But,
yeah.
Shannon seems unbothered, seems unfazed.
Like, what are we going to do if she comes here?
Emily's trying to make this into a thing again.
She's like, what are you going to do?
And she's like, I'm going to say hi if she walks by.
Like, she's the most unbothered out of the group.
Yeah.
And then Alexis shows up.
Boo.
She must not have had a sip of water since she left this show.
Because I've never seen somebody so thirsty.
She came in.
with an agenda.
But what she forgets is none of us like you.
Your stint,
your re-stint on this show was awful.
You didn't do anything.
It was embarrassing.
John Jansen was fucking embarrassing.
Both of you are perfect.
There's a lid for every trash can or whatever.
Perfect line.
Go away because this was ridiculous.
She looks at Heather,
who tries to, hey,
Heather doesn't give two fucks about Alexis Polino.
And she blows her off.
I'm not even sure what happened.
It could have been smoking mirrors of the cameras.
I don't know.
I don't care because I know Alexis wanted something out of this.
And this was her moment.
So she took a non-factor.
Tamara going, hey, literally.
Hey, she said you gave her face.
Oh.
Oh.
And blows off the party.
Storms out.
Yels at John across the room.
John, who doesn't like anybody, is standing there by himself.
Like, oh, I guess.
I got a little shit.
Yeah, I got those fucking tucks on.
I got to go home.
I rented because I don't have things.
I let my women in my life.
He definitely still has the loafers that chatting on them.
Without a doubt,
I'm shocked he didn't wear them.
I guarantee Alexis told him to.
No, he didn't.
They checked.
I guarantee Alexis said no shoes.
And he was probably like, nah.
Not this tag.
Either way.
And I brought up the, you know,
the potential edit move.
I still am going.
going to believe Heather like if if she thought that Alexis gave her a face and yeah she probably gave
her a face i still don't really understand how we then go back and then we have another clip of her
like blowing kisses and waving to people that kind of looks like it's in heather's direction like
maybe she did later and she after i don't really care it doesn't really matter i like to see the
fact that we're already talking about it and we have other people like even emily was involved in this
although carmella kind of took front and center thankfully talking about maybe dropkicking a housewife she
doesn't give a shit she's got shatine's back i was like i love to see that that's such a great move
especially for carmela who's only been here for a short amount of time shannon clearly likes her she
likes her heather likes carmela carmela likes her like it works out really well and once you kind of put
that final piece in where heather comes back she's like yeah i don't fucking though she gave me a face
when i wave to her i was going to give her a wave that's it she didn't wave back she gave me a face
fuck that i don't want to deal with this everybody comes rallying to the defense of shannon slash heather
more Heather than Shannon probably.
But either way, it was the first cohesive group I have seen on this show at a long time.
They are all doing their own fucking thing.
They only do self-serving things.
They only talk to other people in the group when it is self-serving.
So to see them all just say the same thing at the same time, we've all got it.
They're all having fun with it.
That's what I want to hear.
And when Tamara sees, fuck, Alexis and John are leaving.
I better go get them.
But first I got to tell them.
I got to go tell the other girls.
Alexis and John left because apparently Heather walked over and she tried to bring up the whole face thing.
And then I told her and she ran out the door.
We got to go get her.
Right. Heather, can you go have a conversation?
Fuck off.
I don't want to deal with any of this.
Heather already said it perfectly.
I don't want to deal with this.
And Terry even said it when they were talking about having Alexis and John there.
He's like, I don't fucking like surprises.
I don't want to deal with any of this.
Good.
That is a real response.
That is a normal response to all these things.
So to see all the ladies kind of have everybody's back.
then to see all of this just kind of blow up in spectacular fashion again
I do think that we're going to start off this next episode and then Alexis and
John are going to come into the party and we're going to have a moment where Shannon sees them
and does exactly what she said she was going to do and just kind of wave high and however you
that'll be it it's not going to amount to anything we're going to get an uncomfortable
scene where Alexis and John are over in the corner and Shannon's over there and they're like
wow I don't even want to come near them and then other people are going to be saying hi
and it's just going to be fucking weird and stupid and pointless
because everything works that way in OC.
It amounts to absolutely nothing.
Everything you do, every, yeah, OC, stupid, weird, and pointless.
That should be the tie line for the show.
Like, it's just, it's never going to work.
There's nothing you can do about it.
No, and I agree.
I'll give you that where it's like, all right,
at least we finally had a moment where you guys seem to like each other
ever so slightly.
But yeah, like, what a Hail Mary for no fucking reason.
And you're totally right.
Tamara like running out like oh fuck no I got to make this happen I got to make this work wait I got to
juice is worth to squeeze I got to get it yeah exactly like it's not oh god damn it let's see what the
audience is about it HM faulkner was the Alexis cameo really necessary she's still annoying I don't know
I don't fucking know I have no idea I don't know what to do with this show you could maybe
convince me that it's it is necessary to try to do something I mean I don't know do something at this
point, but if you're dipping into the Alexis Bolino, John Jansen, well, I think you should know
your franchise is doomed.
The show is doomed.
The season is doomed.
Why are we doing this?
Correct.
Yeah.
Wasn't a good move?
No, probably not.
Do I, am I mad at them trying to do something?
No.
It's just like, like we said earlier, if you're, or like you just said, if you're dipping into
this well, things are not good.
There's a problem with the show.
From Vonnes, loved Heather and Terry Ced together,
feel like we are getting a better understanding of Heather.
Send Heather to Beverly Hills.
I agree.
I do think that we are getting,
and we've said that in the past,
like the Terry and Heather scenes or Heather with her family,
they're always such a nice reprieve from a terrible fucking show
that we've always said we either want to show with just Heather
or please put her in Beverly Hills and give her a little bit more like
storyline, family, screen time, things like.
that would work out so much better.
I actually disagree now.
Keep her on OC.
If you're going to keep running this fucking castback year in and year out,
keep her on OC so that at least we have that reprieve where we can go hang out with
Heather and Zerry.
Or just build the show around her.
Or just cancel the damn show.
I mean, yeah, ideally just put it on pause for a very long time.
But if not, like, restructure everything with Heather at the forefront.
Make her the face.
She already is the face of this franchise.
make her the actual face of the franchise and build it around her,
bring in a couple of her friends,
keep Shannon,
you can keep Carmela,
you can keep Jen.
I don't care.
Get rid of the rest and restructure.
Try something new.
The crazy thing to me,
and this is something we talk about a lot with Bravo,
the comment section is screaming,
especially this season.
Change the show.
Please,
of God. So just do something.
Like show the audience that you give even one shit about their opinion.
Yeah.
Blacksmith Trev, apparently not only did Emily's husband leave to take care of the kids.
He came back the next day to help clean his parents' house.
And Emily did not.
Correct.
Yep.
That's exactly what I was saying.
And then she acts indignant like, you're supposed to have a social,
life too. Like, what that's your, that's the argument we're going to do? Like, sure, you could convince me that
Shane doesn't help himself. Absolutely. I can get on that, that side, easy. Totally. But that doesn't
absolve you of anything. That's what she tries to do. That's what's crazy. She tries to point out
his shortcomings as though it's going to make her look better. It never does. It just makes him
look bad. It makes you look worse. Very good point. From B. Reedy, 13, 126. The
Lexus thing was planned, right? Everybody knew she wasn't staying. I think it was planned for her to be there.
I don't think it was planned for her to immediately leave, though. I just, she probably, yes, here,
okay. In her head, she probably had plans of, okay, if this happens, I'm going to do this. If this happens,
I'm going to do this. I think her biggest plan going in was she wanted to seem like she was beyond this show.
Like this is no longer serving me and I'm not going to buy back into the bullshit.
So if something pops off, I'm out of there.
The problem is when you throw a tantrum like that and then you go outside and wait for the cameras to come back outside,
that tells me you want to be on camera.
If you really were over the show, you would have walked out, gotten your car and left.
But instead, you make a scene leaving.
You yell at John across the party.
You go outside, say you're leaving.
stand there for
I'm going to guess
15 minutes because it takes a while
to rally the cameras and get everybody out there
15 minutes for the cameras
to come back out
and have your moment with Heather
as I said somebody get this woman
at Gatorade she seems parched
yeah big time
and we'll just end it on this one
from Kira
dot J98
outside of a Rony style reboot
can this franchise be saved
I
No, I can't
I mean
Outside of that
Every episode that we go
I do think the actual answer
Is you have to build around
Heather Carmela
Shannon Tamra
Maybe I don't know
Vicki's up in the air
You have to get rid of Gina
And Emily that is probably the answer
But every episode that we have to endure
I want a Roney-style reboot
That's where we're head
Yeah and you could
Definitely still
You got about
three episodes left to convince me that we don't need to do that.
We just need to rebuild around them without taking a pause.
If this continues for three more episodes to the reunion and it's this same shit,
full pause, full pause, two years off, get an entirely new cast except for maybe two people,
Heather and Carmela and you throw Shannon in there.
But I mean, it's just not a good product, man.
It's not good.
But yeah, anyway.
I don't know. That's all I got. You got anything else?
No.
