Welcome to the locker room. It is your boy, Willie C.
A walking Professor X. I am joined as always with my favorite linebacker of all time.
Clay Matthews, my favorite tight end of all time, Delaney Walker, and my favorite left tackle all time.
Tara Luan, it's the boys football talk. We're talking NFL.
Let's break down what happened last week in our gambling picks, and let's look at our overall season.
I went 3 and 3, 10 and 8 on the year. Taylor 3 and 3, 12, and 6 on the year.
That's number one on the show. Delaney Walker, 3 and 3. He's 9 and 9 on the year, which you would expect.
Clay Matthews, he did such a good job.
Four and two, lost a little bit on the spread mark.
49ers only one by one.
They didn't cover one and a half.
He is 11 and 7 on the year.
We got a lot of games we're breaking down.
Minnesota, Pittsburgh, Baltimore, Kansas City,
Green Bay, at Dallas, New York, at Miami, Cincinnati, and Denver,
and Philly and Tampa Bay.
We're glad you're here and make sure you are subscribed.
Leave it comments throughout the episode.
Let's have a day.
This is an I-Heart podcast, Guaranteed Human.
Hey guys, it's us. The Jonas Brothers. I'm Joe. I'm Kevin.
And I'm Nick. And guess what?
We created our own podcast called Hey Jonas.
We invented a podcast?
Well, we didn't invent it. We just contributed to it.
We're the first people to do podcasts.
We get to ask other people questions because we're sick and tired of being asked questions.
Well, sick and tired is a strong way to put it. But, you know,
tired and sick.
Tired and sick.
Listen to Hey Jonas on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcast.
Just listen. We don't care where you hear it.
What's up, fam?
And I'm C.J. Toledano. It's our favorite time of the year on our podcast, Point Game, the playoffs.
We're digging into the biggest surprises of the season. And I'm looking back on some of my greatest
playoff moments. If we didn't talk ever again, I was hungry. You just understood. That's how personal it got.
Wow. Then after that game seven, Mark keep coming to him. He's like, you know I love you, dog. You know,
it's all love. This was just playoffs. This was just basketball. So listen to Point Game on the Iheart
Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.
Hey, I'm Deanna Maria Riva, and on my new podcast, How Hard Can It Be?
I call on my Gen X squad from Ohio to Hollywood as we navigate Midlife's most fantastic BS.
Unfiltered conversations from night sweats to fupas to scheduling sex.
Wait, what sex?
Is it just me or does every woman my age want to look at Pinterest instead of having sex sometimes?
They say we can't polish a turd, but we're sure going to try.
So let's get blunt with laughs, tears, or tears of laughter.

That is correct.

Whether you're looking at the money line or the spread and anytime touchdown score or some rushing and passing, overs and unders, a same game parlay will let you combine those picks for even bigger winnings.
However, you put your S-GP together.
If it doesn't hit, you're getting yourself some bonus bets.

Boys, excited to be here.
Clay Matthews, as always, as handsome as ever.
You look good.
Your buns tight.
There's not one hair straggling.
Hey, for real, I was so upset.
None of you boys let me know.
Like, I had one piece that was falling out.
I just couldn't help but look at it.
Like, when we filmed last week, you were.
weren't like, hey, grease that back.
Like, no stragglers.
What do you put in that thing?
I got like a redkin leaving conditioner.
Yeah.
And then I put a little, a little gel on top so that way I don't get the flyways.
Fair, fair.
If I'm going to be on camera.
I was, again, you talk and when I look at you, it's just Clay Matthews highlights
going through my head.
Right.
So it's hard to stay focused.
I'm not going to cap your forehead, bro.
Hey.
I mean, I, yeah, that was it.
Do it again.
Do it again?
A lot of changes.
Will Compton has no hair on his face except for his eyebrows.
And Delaney, in the last seven days, has established a lisp.
Is that something that you can take out?
Yeah, yeah, I can take it out.
You don't want to take it out for the show?
No.
Because the lisp is crazy.
I know.
I like it.
They're going to love it.
They don't love it.
Hey, I'm going to keep you 100, though.
You fucking ugly, bro.
I just can't stop looking at you.
It's your forehead.
It's like it doesn't came down a little bit.
That's fine.
That's a very like, that's a cold take.
Cold take.
I think everybody loves it.
I heard everybody loves it.
Josh Pate loved it.
Josh Pate doesn't.
Of course.
Yeah, he's bald.
He doesn't look that bad.
It doesn't look that bad.
No, I mean, he's ugly, but yeah.
Say Cincinnati.
Cincinnati.
Hey, so what are we doing?
Are we growing it back out now, or is it, does we have to shave it as part of this bed?
No, this is it.
So what do you feel like when you get to that awkward stage?
What are you going to do?
I don't know.
If he was undefeated on his picks, he needs to keep it for the rest of the year.
Yeah.
The do rag gets in the day, too.
Oh, yeah.
The door's hair.
The wave's coming in right when I go to bed at night.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Last week on this show, Clay, you brought like a 90-pound wheel of cheese.
You're like, this is it.
I'm done.
I'm no longer the locker room guy anymore.
But then you sent a picture yesterday
if you had a wig shop and said no gifts this week.
So what are you?
Sad face.
He had a sad face.
You a walkroom guy or not.
Hey, so I stopped by a, this was going to be great.
This was going to be great content.
I'm all about it.
I stopped by a wig shop.
And it was close.
It was by appointment only.
I was so disappointed though.
I was going to get you, the claymaker wig.
I was going to get you something like Rick James
and I was going to get you on the fly.
We could try again next week.
But I was disappointed that I didn't come through.
I would love to see it next week.
All right.
You were ready to go?
Delaney.
You want to talk about how good the Dallas Cowboys defense is before we start?
No, go ahead.
Hey, but the Bears?
Are you back on the Bears bandwagon?
No.
Okay.
All right.
Oh, no, you're off now.
No, I'm saying I'm not messing with Caleb.
Okay.
You're not doing what with him?
He's not messing with Caleb.
Hey, people fear Mike Tyson with that list.
Yeah.
That's true.
That's true.
Yeah, yeah.
But mine is made because of the grill.
Don't get it twisted.
You just got to take it out.
I can't handle it.
I would have to because it's crazy.
What does the grill?
Brought it to his attention and he won't be able to do without just hearing.
I know.
Now I can't have to take it out.
It's like getting even thicker now that he's thinking about it.
Everywhere.
I'm like.
When you first got your teeth, did you have a problem with the Lisp a little bit?
No, it just felt weird that I had teeth in my mouth.
Yeah.
Just full-developed.
Hey, man, not a lot of wins getting through anymore.
I know.
You're good attitude, Will.
Oh, my God.
Hey, can you play with those in the game?
Because I see some.
Oh, yeah, I do.
I did.
Like, they don't come off?
You can wear, do you wear a mouthpiece over?
Yeah, I still wear a mouthpiece, too.
Well, at the bottom.
Yeah.
All right.
Yeah, that's just a...
I used to rock those in the game.
Did you play better when you were?
I think, I mean, same, same shit.
He swagged out from head to toe.
He don't know.
If he has a bad game, he don't know what it is.
I didn't get the ball if I had a bad game.
That's true, my fault.
When did you not get the ball besides the 49ers career?
A few games, Washington.
Because you was logged down.
You got me fucked.
He was like, what was a game where you were like,
you made it known that you were pissed off that you didn't get the ball?
Whether you said something during the game,
or um Kansas City can't city can't city game I think you can which one it was it was
it was the past where Marcus threw the pass to itself oh playoff game yeah I went
and through my helmet and I'm sure it's a clip because I saw the clay I threw the
helmet and damn there hit Corey Davis I was hot who were the other receivers on
the team at the time this is before AJ Brown Corey Davis is his rookie year he was
drafted what fifth overall fifth overall he was drafted fifth overall he was drafted fifth
overall.
Other than that,
Derek's,
well, Derek wasn't Derek yet.
Derek was like becoming Derek.
Yeah.
Was that Derek's rookie year?
No.
It was 27th or 13 or 18.
It wasn't 18.
18 was when I was there.
So this was before.
Yeah, yeah, this is before.
Because when Marcus had a low.
Delany was the only option because up until that point,
we ended up coming to get back against Kansas City
and when they played the Patriots
and got blown the fuck out by them.
And then Corey Davis had his first touchdown of the year.
Yeah, first touchdown.
We have Rosh Matthews.
That's your boy.
Shard Matthews.
The left us mid-season.
Yeah, because they were the boombox boys.
Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah.
They each had a boombox everywhere they went.
Just absolutely battling for who has more volume with a boombox at all times.
Couldn't hear like with the song.
At all times.
Well, at one point he was, he was the second leading receiver and that's really all we had.
So, you know, you got to jail with the guy who's actually making.
How many targets did you get per game average?
Maybe 10.
Damn, really?
You got 10?
Wow.
Probably 10 targets.
He really was an only option at times.
Dang.
It's handoffs too.
Once you left the NFC, I'm just like, ah.
And then all of us, that's why when I check the stats,
I'm like, let me check it.
Delaney, like 49ers Delaney, 400 yards receiving Tennessee,
1100.
Yeah.
He was the man, bro.
We'd be in our breakdowns defensively, like when we played the Tennessee
the game we always talk about.
But it'd be like Delaney was circled like, hey,
you probably don't hear a whole lot about this guy
just because they're not in a media market.
This is one of the best tight ends of the league.
Reds on threat.
He's their go-to guy for everything.
No, that's just literally how I went.
You know what I mean?
Every time I told, they'd be like, yo,
but no one knows because y'all games ain't tell really.
12 or five.
No one watches.
Blackout games.
Jack's McPherson.
Yeah.
Jack's the one that watched.
Nobody knows.
They like Tennessee.
You play for the day.
Bro.
When I got here like at,
in OTAs and training camp and stuff,
like there'd be just like a handful of people on the sidelines,
just a handful of reporters.
Just handful.
It's like,
I'm sure in Green Bay it's crazy.
And Washington,
it was crazy.
There's people everywhere.
And it's just like,
you come here.
And I remember a rack poe
because he was in Washington with me for a couple years.
He's like,
hey, come.
Hey,
nobody covered the Tennessee Titans out yet.
No, they didn't.
They did not.
I mean, it's starting.
It's all I knew.
It started growing, though, a little bit,
you would say.
Yeah, I mean, it started growing a little bit.
But when I hear, like,
I'm talking about Washington and these other guys.
The guys are coming in a lot and be like no one talks about y'all.
At all.
It's grown a lot since then.
Yeah.
That first time it was kind of like it was kind of like shocking.
He's got to start winning.
You almost felt like at ease because you felt like there was not like there wasn't a whole lot of pressure surrounding the.
Yeah, what a whole lot of noise.
Yeah.
A lot of noise.
You got to think about.
But when you sign your deal, that's when they start doing that press room.
Like when you walk out and they had that all that.
It was like it started growing because I remember at first you walk out.
be like three reporters.
And like, why am I at a podium?
Right, right.
Just come to the locker room and see you.
Just coming to the locker room.
It just talks to me.
Now, you know, you go out there.
It was like 10, 15 reporters out there.
You go to a podium and you talk.
But when I first got there, it would be like three, four reporters.
And you standing at a podium like, you got a question, you got a question, you got a question.
Done.
You know what I mean?
Yeah.
But now it's like.
It's like in Washington, people write stuff.
Say it was like negative news.
You'd almost not know where the leak or anything is.
With Tennessee, it's like, okay, who's telling Paul Carrsky something?
It's Paul.
Yeah, we already knew.
Paul.
Paul was the bad guy for the Titans.
Yeah, Paul loved to play the villain at all times.
While we're on the Tennessee Titans, since they're not getting any love, what do you think they should do with their head coach?
Ooh.
Man, that's a tough one.
I mean, it's tough for me because I'm around the Titans a lot.
And I'm in his face a lot.
So I'm going to pass that one to you.
Listen, I'll be honest.
I don't, it would be more so Jack has been very vocal about it.
It's like I hope they go on the road these next three games, just get out of Nashville, kind of reset.
Get away from those three reporters.
The national pulse, the local pulse, everything else feels like times ticking if he doesn't do something here.
And was that true that I read that he gave up a play calling offensively?
Yeah, he did.
He stepped down from play calling past it.
And then we made the trade, which I'm not sure about that trade.
I don't know.
You know what?
Sometimes you can't speak about what's going on in the locker room because you're not in the locker room.
You don't know if that player was like acting out, being disrespectful towards the coaches saying, you know, we've tried.
You never know why they made that trade or what's going on.
You did that all the time and you're around forever.
Yeah, but I mean, I was bawling though.
It's a difference.
It's a difference.
It's a difference.
You bought you like you when you balling they ain't gonna say shit
Yeah but I wasn't walking around the locker and be like you're trash you're trash
Delia walk up the guys be like your ass like I don't know why you on this team
I'm like Delaney it's October
We can't be together for the rest of the year get him out of here like I said you pockets
Anytime I call you pockets is you taking money out of somebody else pockets by us keeping you on this team
We could have somebody else who want to play who can make a play but instead for some reason they like you
I don't know why.
Why do they love this kid?
I don't see it.
You know what I mean?
And then I'm right all the time.
They cut them.
You know what I mean?
I'm like, damn, I knew I was right.
Everyone gets cut eventually.
Yeah, you're right.
Speaking of pockets,
whose pockets between the Vikings,
they're at the Steelers?
Vikings are favored minus two and a half.
Total points they gave is 40 and a half.
Which one is pockets?
Um, I'm a, well, pockets, I'm going to say the Steelers are pockets right now.
Okay.
But I'm going Vikings.
So you're going to take the Vikings.
I'm going to take the Vikings.
They look good against the Bengals.
Don't get me wrong.
Yes, the Bengals didn't have their starting quarterback.
They was out there with Jake Browning, Browning.
Browning, yeah.
And he just, oh, my God, what, three interceptions?
He didn't look good.
So you really can't speak off and say, oh, Carson Went,
looked at good against the Bengals because the Bengals just was ass, right?
But you got Jordan.
David.
Addison?
Addison.
Addison.
Addison is coming back.
Harrison Smith.
Harrison Smith is coming back.
I just feel like right now the Vikings, they're going to be a tough team right now just in these couple of weeks.
I feel like they're on a high horse.
They got things going.
They threw for a good amount of yards.
Defense played great.
This should be a no-brainer.
And they're playing in Dublin.
So it's home field for both teams.
Home field or away field.
I'm just looking at it.
Neutral.
It's a neutral field.
It's a phrase for it.
It's called neutral site.
Yeah, neutral field.
It's a neutral field in Dublin.
It's a home game for both teams here.
Pretty much.
It's a home game.
It's a home game.
No, it's going to be 50-50.
You're going to have everybody wearing all different types of jerks.
They don't know who the fuck on the field.
They just chairing whenever they get excited whenever a foot touches the ball.
No, a field goal.
Yeah.
Whenever it's a field goal, they cheer.
This was about that.
R punt.
You've been out there before?
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
No, you haven't.
Yes, I have.
We tied against the Bengals.
Oh, okay.
Ten tackles.
Ten tackles, pick.
You didn't have no pick.
You didn't have no.
Go look it up.
Yes, bro.
Hold on.
You played overseas?
Yes.
I thought in 2018 you had a little hammy, a little soft tissue.
That was with Tennessee.
I know, I thought you said I've never done it.
I remember you being like, I've never played overseas.
I'm actually happy I'm not going.
Yeah, because I had played overseas and I'm like, I'm kind of pumped.
I don't have to go to this game.
But you-
Like the injured guys didn't have to travel.
It is miserable to play overseas.
It is.
It is miserable.
Especially when you travel on 13.
Especially when you travel on 13.
On Thursday.
That's what we had to do.
Oh, that's what y'all did.
Y'all was the way.
I didn't go.
Man, I was hurt.
Is it 16?
No, it was 18.
That's right.
Because when you travel on Thursdays, it's like, you know, you practice on Thursdays, then you go and hit the plane.
You're expected that's supposed to be your rest.
For when you land, it's Friday morning and then you go, yeah, you don't rest.
Guys are trying to find ambience, trying to like find some ways to sleep.
Yeah.
Then you get off the plane, you're right there early Friday morning.
In the morning, you're like a zombie.
It's like, she.
Food kind of sucks.
over there.
Who does?
Not a lot of assing those sandwiches.
Hey, no offense, London.
No offense, London.
Go ahead.
Tell them.
The food.
Fuck, that Canadian bacon or whatever they're.
Trash.
Watery ass eggs.
I'm like, yeah, what is this?
You guys want to go get some fishing chips?
I went to McDonald's every morning.
When I did that Netflix show, the production company was based out of the UK
and they were trying to argue with me about them having good food.
But you guys don't even have salt.
You don't even season your shit over there.
It's terrible.
No disrespect to all the friends in the UK.
I do like the bike.
as well. Carson Wins playing, I think, is actually beneficial for the Vikings right now.
Anytime you have a quarterback that is a first round pick, ends up having turmoil in his career,
send him to the school of Kevin O'Connell, he'll get him fixed up right.
The defense having as much takeaways as they had.
And then I pick the Steelers to win the AFC North.
They're two in one, but they haven't rushed for more than 75 yards in a game.
They all great in the red zone.
They're like, what's the stat here?
They're 87.5% in the red zone scoring a touchdown, which is awesome.
That's good.
I don't see them getting in the red zone.
lot in this game. I like the Vikings. I like the Vikings with the points as well. I got Vikings in the
points as well. You saw wands as we talked about better equipped to run this offense, more competent,
more comfortable than J.J. McCarthy. And it showed they did a great job making concerted effort,
shutting down the run after that Falcons game in week two forced Jake Browning into, you know,
those passing situations, Flores on defense forced two turn up, two interceptions, that is. And then
the bangles, everything went wrong for them. But it also was a big getting Darrysaw back at
Their left guard, their rookie left guard, has been playing extremely well.
And I think he just had surgery, though, so he might be out.
They handed the ball up to Jordan Mason a ton, let him do his thing.
But there's now film on Wentz.
So while I think the result will be the same with the Vikings coming out on top,
I think it'll be a closer game.
But, you know, Steelers defense 28th in total defense, 27th against the run.
I mean, I love A. Roda.
He can make all the throws he needs to, but they don't have a run game.
Pittsburgh, that is.
Their old line can't protect all that great.
Their defense is getting old.
It is not playing up to that Pittsburgh standard.
I got Vikings with minus two and a half.
Yeah, I just don't see.
I just, I don't see how Pittsburgh wins offensively.
You already rattled off all the stuff defensively for the sealers.
Like bottom five in every category across the league.
Vikings can run the ball well.
O'Connell, Coach Phillips, they'll be creative and how they can attack the defense
with Carson Wins getting a second start.
I just, I don't see where Pittsburgh find success.
When you watch the games, it's like I'm rattling through their offensive plays.
And the only time they kind of find anything is when they're throwing perimeter screens.
D.K. Metcalf really isn't getting much separation anywhere, unless you just throw them the ball in the outside quick.
Or if you're in the red zone and you just throw it up.
You did have a touchdown last week.
Again, but it's in the red zone, you're throwing it up.
But as far as him, like, getting separation, even, I don't know, maybe you can speak to this more because I have no clue what I'm talking about when it comes to wide receiver.
But it's like even with AJ Brown, he might not have the most explosive speed coming up the line of scrimmage,
but he does a really good job when he's getting pressed on finding some separation.
I mean, dudes are kind of shutting down D.K. Macab.
It's not like he's getting some acceleration with the speed unless he gets into like his tense stride downfield.
Man, A. Rogers doesn't have the time to make those plays.
They don't run the ball well.
They have to do a lot of perimeter screens just to get stuff going in quick game.
And again, nobody's really open or creating separation offensively.
I like the Vikings here.
It's two and a half points.
Vikings are favored by two and a half.
And Kevin O'Connell, this is just a stat for London now.
Kevin O'Connell internationally is 4'0.
This is a wide receiver too for Pittsburgh.
They defense is, I'm saying like pickings.
You should don't do that.
I mean, they might be regretting that trade.
Could use Piggins.
Oh, definitely.
Could use Piggins right now?
Pickens is on your side.
The vibe you felt when, you know, I bought into it.
loved buying into it. Aaron Rogers, 4,000 yards on the year.
D.K. Metcalfe coming over from the Seattle Seahawks, but it's just, it's not that, man.
Everything you pointed to about Aaron Rogers, 4,000 yards. I was on that train with you, and it felt so good.
I think I kept hearing about Arod from other people, because I don't really know the quarterback
position, similar to what you're talking about wide receivers, is he is looking down at the
rush a lot more than looking downfield because we get to that age at 42 years old. Like,
you're more cautious about getting injured. And so I don't know what that means, but everyone's
like when that starts to happen, that's the end of the quarterback.
That's like when the quarterback, you're like, he's going to start to fall off a little bit,
which sucks to hear, but it's like, if that is, he looks good, though.
He can make every throw off the air.
But that team is driven through him, and if you can't protect him and you don't have a run
game and you can't sustain drives, like you're not going to go very far.
The offensive line's not giving a whole much time.
On that all 22, bro, you just watch their offensive rhythm.
You just click on the offensive place and just watch it.
It's like, even if Aaron does that at times, it's not like it's not like it's standing
He's just getting nervous in the pocket.
It's right.
Wide receivers aren't getting a whole lot of separation to where it's just eventually the pocket's collapsing on them to where all you're having to do is these perimeter screens, some play action.
But it's just I just don't know how they move the ball and win against an aggressive Vikings defense.
It's difficult to run the play action when you have it rushed for over 75 yards to get the season.
And you know that's what Art like to do.
That's how he finds guys.
He needs to marry the run the pass.
He needs to have the pass just like the run.
And that's how you get guys to bite.
It almost feel like D.K is just like a decoy.
way out there. It's like they're just trying to find ways to get Jailin Warren the ball.
I mean, John who had a couple of targets last week. I mean, it's just, it's tough. When you
are an explosive receiver like that, like he is, and you know if you give him any kind of
cushion, he's going to outrun you. So just what, press them. If you can press him and get that
timing off knowing that the old line ain't good enough to protect for Aaron. Shit, that's throwing
that timing off regardless. It ain't going to matter if the timing is perfect. If he's moving around,
He's trying to look down the field.
There's nothing he can do about that.
I feel like two, it's like, and again, I wasn't a receiver.
But it feels like even DBs, they're not even getting up there to press them in the first yard.
They're like using the five-yard window.
Let him get off the line because they know he's not getting off the line that fast.
They're getting hands on him a little bit in that four or five-yard mark.
And then there's just no, there's no separation.
But also, if you know about Arthur's offense, we don't throw deep a lot.
He's throw deep situation a lot.
Yeah, you go.
So every team, if they like, okay, third down, they may go deep.
First and second, let's sit at the five-yard mark.
He may going to run a stop.
He may run a deep stop.
He may run a slant.
Like, they, you know, when you come in, you kind of already know what routes you're going
to get on certain down.
So I feel like that's what we're seeing.
But I won't be surprised if Aaron start feeding Medcalf a little bit more.
You know how he gets.
He kind of almost like AJ, he's going to get upset if he doesn't get the ball.
So I'm assuming.
and they don't start trying to give them the ball a little bit more.
Michael Obolter has this idea we love, play for an ultra.
It's all about those little friendly competitions when an ultra is on the line.
Yes, like if we're running an Oklahoma drill,
that's where I take you down and claim my ice cold ultra.
We've all seen me and Wilcompton in Oklahoma drill,
you know, I don't even know that beer's mine, buddy.
See, that's exactly my point.
Doesn't matter if it's touchdowns, who's ping pong, cornhole, whatever.
Bragging rights taste better with an ultra.
Superior is worth playing for.
or Mikalov Ultra Superior Light Beer.
Hey, it's us, the Jonas Brothers, and guess what?
We have some big news.
What's the news, name?
Huge news.
We created our own podcast called, Hey Jonas.
We invented a podcast?
Well, we didn't invent it.
We just contributed to it.
We're the first people to do podcasts.
Pretty, yeah, pretty wide range of podcasts throughout there.
But this one's extra special.
So how do we actually come up with a name, Hey Jonas, guys?
I honestly don't remember.
I think it was on a call about what we should call it.
And, well, we were thinking I'm originally calling it one of the early names of our band before Jonas Brothers.
This is how you guys remember it going down?
Yes.
I have a very different memory of this.
We were talking about a thing, a bit for the podcast, for people could call in and say, hey, Jonas.
And then I wrote down on my little notepad, Hey Jonas, and offered it up as a potential title for the podcast.
But thanks for remembering that, guys.

What's up, fam? It's Isaiah Thomas. And I'm CJ Toledano, and our podcast Point Game is about
defining the odds. Like LeBron heading into the playoffs without Luca and Austin Reed.
And finding ways to win no matter what. He's the smartest player to ever play the game.
His IQ is at a level that we've never seen before. And he knows. Without Luca and Austin
Reeves, I got to manipulate the game. We get a player's perspective on the challenges of the
playoffs. I think Joker's going to be exhausted this series because when they don't have Rudy in the
lineup, he has to really guard guys like Nas Reid. He has to guard Julius Randall. And then he has to
give us everything he gives us on the night-to-night basis on offense. And when IT's friends stop by,
like Quentin Richardson, we dive into some playoff history too. Steve Nash will get that thing.
That man, hell get the flying. He run up the court, licking his fingers why he got the ball. Like,
after you go through a training camp with that, Isaiah, you figure it.
out real quick. Get your
ass up and down the court and you're going to
get the ball. So listen to Point Game

Should you go over to Baltimore at Kansas City?
Yes, sir. Baltimore at Kansas City,
Ravens are favored by two and a half.
Chiefs are underdogs at home.
The over-under on this game is 48.5.
I'm so confused by them.
I'm so confused.
After watching the Ravens,
which I did pick the Lions.
You did.
You did.
You did.
I liked them a lot.
John Morn,
a lot of question marks about him
after the Packers game in week one.
And they go,
they drop 40.
Now, how many they dropped this past week?
50 something?
Like, they went crazy.
Against the Ravens,
who is, you know,
bottom three in total yards,
yards per game.
I mean,
passing,
rushing, like they're a bottom three
and all the major statistics
on their defense side of the ball.
When they have aliens,
Roquan Smith,
Kyle Hamilton,
and they're just getting
gutted right up the middle.
Gutted.
Multiple drives.
The Detroit Lions had multiple drives of 95 yards.
Who wasn't playing on defense?
Kyle Van Nuoy.
Kyle Van Nuoy.
And Matabuque.
Two players down.
Two players down.
But they're giving up a shit little points.
But then you look at the Chiefs and it's like, you know, they beat the Giants.
It's their first win of the year and it's like they win 20 to 9, whatever the score was.
But they like still can really move the ball whole lot.
It's like death by a thousand cuts.
And it's like, yeah, you got on.
A lot of field goals.
A lot of field goals.
It's just like, look who they're playing though.
I mean, you know, Chargers who look like world beaters right now, three and no, all
divisional wins.
Who are they playing?
I'm forgetting Eagles who, you know, coming off a Super Bowl and not Giants.
And now we go with the Ravens.
What is it?
One and two right now?
Yeah.
Yeah.
I mean like both teams, they're playing two teams, two teams, two teams, two teams.
that are in the top five in the league as far as like perceived best teams in the NFL.
So I think at this point they just need to keep their head above water.
You know, hopefully Rashid Rice will be back soon.
Worthy will get health year.
Simmons will get more reps because they're going to be, I know they're still going to be.
I actually got Baltimore on this.
So this is going to be tough.
It's going to be the first time.
I know.
I'm just saying, you talk about the chiefs having like they play the charges.
Yeah.
And they're playing the Ravens.
The Ravens also played.
To the best offenses.
Multiple bills in the line.
You're absolutely right.
That's why one of these quarterbacks
and he won in three for the first time.
Put the bills.
And the Ravens, though, just switching over,
the Ravens were one and two last year
when they started the season.
So this is less about the Ravens.
When I watched them offensively,
they're so explosive, they scored 40, 41, 30 points.
And even this last game, you know,
they had that goal to go, four downs.
They turned it over on downs.
There's some missed opportunity to score right there.
Obviously, Derek Henry and his last three fumbles
have, I hate to play this game,
but, you know, they're one and two
they very easily could be three and oh defense we talked about that yeah they're giving up points
but i think that was more a testament to how good Detroit looked than it was hey what's going on with
with uh baltimore so i still i pick baltimore to be in the super bowl pick lamar to an MVP obviously
you know they're climbing up a hill right here but i got them beating the chiefs i think the
chiefs just need to weather the storm like they're they're playing these killers right now and
you know they just got to hope they start clicking getting into rhythm putting it together that they've done
for the last however many years
and just win the games they need to win
and squeaking in that wild card
you know when the charges.
Just watching Lamar when Detroit was spying him
there was like three or four open field tackles
where Lamar would do Lamar things
if you'd make one guy mess
and there's 20 yards for him to have
and the Detroit linebackers
like we're able to get him on the ground
no problem.
They're good, bro.
They are good.
They're flying all overplace.
But Chief's defense is fantastic.
They're the ones that aren't keeping them
in the games at all time
So chiefs don't have weapons on offense.
To me, this is an under game.
This is under all the way.
It's 48 and a half points.
But I will go, for the sake of this show, I will go to Ravens as well.
I think they have more opportunity to be explosive.
Changes the game that way.
No one in the world is in hell more than Derek Henry.
Mentally, physically, like he is truly in hell.
I think he had like 600 carries last year and had three fumbles on those.
He's at 44 carries this year.
He's had three fumbles.
Like he is, no one's beating him up more than himself.
They got to get him going.
It's going to be a tough defense to get him going.
But I think at the end of the day, the Ravens have more weapons.
They have better personnel and they're going to win this game.
I don't know if y'all noticed this, but that first, like you said, that goal line, when they got down there and they got stopped,
Derek Henry was pissed.
When that last play was for Lamar to keep it, he shook his head.
So soon as he got the play, he liked.
Well, didn't they give it to Derek Henry three plays in a row at the goal line right there?
Every time he was stopped.
He got stuck.
hitting the backfield.
I mean, because they was trying to give them, like, pitches to the side.
Like, just run power.
Power downhill, yeah.
Like, just run power.
So, like, with that being said, though, they need to get the receivers involved, man.
They got to get flowers involved.
They got to get Hopkins, Morse.
Catchers, man.
He's playing well.
Just get him out there, throw him the ball like we used to.
Give him jump balls, slants.
Just let this man make plays.
He's making the plays.
We got to feed those dudes.
And then likely is coming back.
Even though, no get me wrong, Andrews had a great catch in that game where he caught a first down.
That was awesome.
But I think likely coming back, that gives them another dynamic of having that past.
So, I don't know.
The Chiefs, I don't know what the Chiefs are right now.
You know, they're trying to figure out.
Here's a question.
If the Chiefs lose this game, are they dead?
No.
I don't think they're dead.
I just think expectation needs to be this is going to become like a wild card team.
Yeah.
Not like as far as dynasty and everything else, it's like, I don't even think that should be the expectation.
If I'm looking at both the Chiefs and the Ravens, it's like which team watching both these teams, watching their opponents?
Because I agree they play great teams, but it's more like the Eagles and Chargers are teams that's like understanding how to win.
I don't think they've tapped into what their potential can be offensively.
To whereas the Ravens have played the Lions and the Buffalo Mills.
Those are absolute killers on the opposite side.
The Lions had that down week and week one,
but now the governor's off, like, they look like the Lions.
They look like the Lions last year.
I feel like the Ravens have just played against better opponents
to where it's like, yeah, the defense is kind of questionable right now
to where this is like a GBOT for them to kind of get rolling.
If there's a team more likely, like looking at the product,
go one and three out of the Ravens and the Chiefs.
I think it's more so the Chiefs.
I'm taking the Ravens this game.
And just a fun little stat, Chiefs, O and 3 is Home Underdogs.
Oh and 3 is Home Underdogs.
big stack guy today. He's got to put them out there. When they look good, you got to say him.
Uncle Ravens. I hate that. We're all the two games in a lot. Oh, my God. It's kind of hard.
It's kind of hard not to, though. Again, it's like chiefs have been struggling to move the ball and
like just scoring, not necessarily like move the ball as much, but they had to get creative with
quick game and everything else. Likely coming back, I do think that adds a good dynamic for Baltimore.
Defense, they got the leadership. They got the guys on that side to where they understand.
They understand what's going on right now. They have to get it right. Yeah, and Harbaugh is very
critical in his post-game press conference being like yeah our run defense is awful we have to do a
better job tackling we have to do a better job filling gaps and him being there for as long as you have
having the culture that he has i can see them turning that around the big way yeah humphrey he's not the
chiefs are a strong run team yeah Hamilton Hamilton broke on smith like they got that that's side of the
ball they're going to get going this is going to be a good battle though when's van oi coming back
when's when's van oi coming back uh he's supposed to be back this week i think he may come back
Watch. They'll get the win now because he's back.
Maybe.
I mean, because you even heard the announcer.
Maybe they also have to protect.
I mean, they give up seven sacks against the Lions.
Yeah, they have to be able to protect.
Because you want to take shots down field like you're talking about.
Like, they have to hold up.
But you know, those sacks were not like rushing.
They were like Lamar doing Lamar shit behind the line of scrimmage.
Yeah.
Yeah.
You're right.
You right.
How many times has, you know, someone got beat quick?
He makes that guy miss against, you know, 88 and after gate down the field.
You're right.
So if he's going to run around a little bit, like you got to
as an office, I mean, look at and go, he's been doing this for a long time.
We know he's going to do this.
Block.
We're all going to go three for three on this.
Oh, maybe not this game.
Packers of Dallas, Green Bay, Dallas?
Yeah, I was looking at Packers in Dallas.
I think we're all.
Yeah, I think it's the easiest.
This is the worst possible situation for the Cowboys.
Yeah, this is not good because this feels like a no-brainer.
Yeah, C.D. Lamb out.
But is he out?
Packers favored on the road, six and a half points.
The over-under on this game, 47 and a half.
I mean, look.
Give me the over.
Well, you ain't touching the game?
No, I said, yeah, I got Packers.
He just said, give me the over.
Yeah.
I know, but I was saying like this is a no-brainer right here.
He's out.
C.D. Lambs hurt.
What's that?
Four to six weeks.
George Piggins is your number one now.
No, George Piggins.
The run game's not that great.
At all.
Your defense is horrible.
It's the worst in the league.
Yeah, horrible.
Eber Flux already on the hot seat after week three.
He should be.
Who?
He should be.
It looks bad, too.
It's not like.
It's not like you don't, you have like inferior guys out there.
It just looks like guys are becoming uncovered or wide open.
Like, what's going on?
But you pop on the film and it is.
It's inferior guys with zero creativity and just nobody making any type of play.
I mean, the owner jinxed them.
He said the defense is better off without that person.
Like, now you're starting to see that was a fucking lie.
Michael Parsons coming to Dallas.
Yeah.
Oh, he about to go eight.
Yeah.
Well, Sean, Gary's already got four and a half sacks this year.
the league like it's Micah Parsons coming to Dallas yeah it's about to be
but we're not even talking about the Packers lost though I mean how do we feel
about that that to me that's a game yeah that's a you wipe your ass with that right
right that's what you wipe your ass like it's no one's going 17 and no no one
no one's gonna drop one some bullshit and Josh Pay on our call show had a great comment
about like it's better to lose early so you kind of can course correct to figure it
out it's like yeah you get that one out the way so now when you go to a game
that you should win later in the year it's like hey remember this remember the
Browns, like we should not have handled ourselves like that.
Yeah.
Michael Parsons said the best.
He goes, yeah, sometimes you shut the bed.
I didn't.
I didn't think the, the Packers was going to play like the Browns, though.
Let's just be honest.
Like, they were slow.
I'm like, what, what is.
And you know too, though, but like as a staff, what a game to come in after in team
meetings and everything else just to be like, you are not who you think you are.
Oh, yeah.
Oh, yeah.
Like, losing to a team like that.
Like, you can't just show up.
I don't care if the Browns, whoever, you can't just show up and win a football game on Sunday.
And that game proved it.
Everybody's urgent now.
And again, Michael Parsons coming back to Dallas.
Yeah, you just wish that, you know, the Packers could have won that maybe 10, 3, 10, 10.
But they kicked that final field going like, all right, let's quit reading the press clippings.
But like you said, I don't put much into it.
I thought it was going to be closer because they didn't have as much to play for.
As silly as that sounds, but you got the 12 o'clock game.
But, oh, how about that Brown's defense?
Miles Garrett, I'm going to consider them early contention for defensive player of the year.
But even their two, there are two draft picks this year.
Mason Graham.
Mason and Swaycinger from Walk-On at UCLA.
Like, he's looking good out there.
Their defense is like one or two in every statistical category.
So you go from the best defense to arguably, if not the worst defense.
I think it's going to be a seven-on-seven match.
I think Jordan Love goes off this game.
Micah coming back.
He's going to get his.
I think it'll be good for football, him coming back,
and Packers getting a big win in Dallas.
Yeah, it'll be a seven-on-seven, man.
It'll be a one-sided game.
I heard a fun...
I heard, like, a fun stat with Mason Graham,
because you sit there and it's like,
Miles Garrett, his defense, everything else, and then I realized, like, oh, yeah, they did
drive Mason Graham.
Like, the usual pass rush win rate for a defensive tackle is like 9%.
Mason Graham is winning it, like, north of 40%.
God, damn.
When rushing a passer.
Which is nuts.
Rookie.
Is he next to Miles, though?
Is he right next to Miles?
I'm sure they move.
Yeah, I'm sure they move around.
Either way, he's probably not getting double team.
He's coming from the inside.
Yeah, yeah.
He didn't get done with the house.
And so you got Miles coming off the edge and him coming up the middle.
That's a, that's a scary sight.
Watching Miles versus the Ravens a couple weeks ago was,
is the more impressive thing I've ever seen in my life.
Did you see that?
The Ben.
Sorry.
The Ben is nasty for him so big.
Did you see the clip from this last week when he's chasing after Jordan Love?
And someone was like,
Oh, man.
That looks bad.
He goes on the sideline, I go, I beat him so bad.
He screams, run, Jordan, raw.
I'll be honest.
I've been on the other side of that before.
I've been beat so bad.
I'm like, Marcus!
God!
Is that what happens?
Like say, oh, buddy, you get beat fast,
like you know what your boy know,
because there's been a couple, like,
when you miss and you're leaning,
you turn around and you just see the quarterback,
his back is to you, like this,
you're just like,
Daniel!
Oh, shit.
Hey, my bad.
Like, did they ever talk to him?
What the fuck are you doing?
He can be standing there like this and there,
throw it!
No, but I've had a few,
throw it.
I've had a couple.
You get him on film because you just see the whip,
like.
Yeah.
It's like a lean lun.
It's bad.
Do they ever talk about like they can hear you or no?
They can hear you.
There was one specific game.
I remember we played the Eagles after they won the Super Bowl.
And it was early in the game.
And I was leaning on my hand and Brandon Graham got me with a quick swipe.
And it was like quick one.
And I remember turn around and be like, Marcus.
And he's like, we get to the sideline.
And he's like, thank God you said something because I heard you and I got the ball.
They didn't hear you.
I promise you.
You see Jordan start running.
You're right.
Oh, yeah.
They can get out of it.
Like, this is going to be.
Bad.
This is a perfect game for all the casual watchers to see the Packers fall
with the Browns being like, oh, Packers are a terrible ball.
This is a statement.
Like, Packers are going to go and drop a 50 burger on the Cowboys.
Yeah.
I think so.
They might cover the over on their own.
I just hope they play well away.
We know they play great at home.
So let's see what happens.
Six and O at eight four.
Man, why you had to tell me?
at 6 and 0 at ATT Stadium including Super Bowl XLV.
Oh man, I may have to switch it up.
No, no, no, no.
He's saying that's a good staff for the Packers.
Packers have won one.
Yeah, no.
You got to switch it up?
Are you in Dallas?
Every time I hear a good stat, I'd have to go with the opposite.
Okay, switch it up.
I didn't say that.
Go Calvaries.
I'm saying I'm made.
Think about it, dude.
No, I know they ain't got CD.
George Pickens is going to get like 50 targets.
He is 400 yards against that weak defense of the Packers.
I can't rely on pickings.
They're gonna have to throw.
That's one dude.
They're gonna throw a whole bunch.
First round pick.
No, I'm going, I'm going Packers.
I just said the stat just, ugh.
Six and a half points though.
All they got, that's gotta do is cover.
Right, backdoor cover later.
Man, I got, you fuck me on the last one on that
with the fucking Viking.
I mean, with the Arizona, the Arizona game.
Because I was just like, I was like,
I want to move the line.
No, just take the plug.
Take the, take the, uh.
The line was one and a half.
No it was.
Are you talking Niners, Cardinals?
Oh, I got it right.
I don't even know what the fuck I was going on.
You were trying to say I mess you up with the Falcons game, but we won that game.
You messed me up with one game.
Falcons, it's Falcons Vikings.
Yeah, because that's when Clay gave a great stat for the Vikings.
Oh, yeah, and then I was my bad.
And I gave a great stat for Lamar last week, and that didn't work out.
There was.
Yeah, so you're taking the Cowboys.
No, no, I'm taking the Packers.
I'm sticking with the fact.
The Packers...
You're sitting bottom right now at 500.
You're going to take risks.
I'm straight.
This is what happened every time and then I be at the top when it's show over with.
That's just how it goes.
Like the chiefs.
Yeah, yeah.
What are you at the bottom?

He's the smartest player to ever play the game.
His IQ is at a level that we've never.
ever seen before. And he knows. Without Luca and Austin Reeves, I got to manipulate the game.
We get a player's perspective on the challenges of the playoffs. I think Joker's going to be exhausted
this series because when they don't have Rudy in the lineup, he has to really guard guys like
Nas Reid. He has to guard Julius Randall. And then he has to give us everything he gives us
on the night-to-night basis on offense. And when IT's friends stop by, like Quentin Richardson,
we dive into some playoff history too. Steve Nass would get that thing. That man.
Man, hell get the flying.
He running up the court, licking his fingers why he got the ball.
Like, you go through a training camp with that, Isaiah, you figure it out real quick.
Get your ass up and down the court, and you're going to get the ball.
So listen to Point Game on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.
Boom, form energy, it keeps you dialed all day long.
Form energy.
We do the work.
Let's go to a game that no one cares about.
Jets at Dolphins.
Dolphins are favorite minus two and a half.
Total points of that game is 40.4 and a half.
Does anybody got a coin?
Yeah.
For real.
I don't think it's a coin toss.
I mean, they play good against Buffalo.
I know you're going, right?
That's one of them.
But I'm just saying, like, yeah, dolphins look good against Buffalo.
They hung tough.
And if Buffalo's, some of y'all's Super Bowl picks, MVP picks, like, there has to be something.
I know it's a divisional game.
They also, I know it was just a one possession game versus New England.
But I'm looking at the jet second.
versus like Miami speed.
Aside from Sauce, who didn't have the greatest game last week,
like they look equally as inept as Dallas.
And so I see them getting the ball out there
and I see one of these Miami games
where they put up points and there's just speed.
Guys, Tyreek Hill-Waddle streaking down the field.
I love that thought process of, hey, we've got speed
that can get downfield, Tua multiple times.
Try to throw it deep and they're just muffets.
Yeah.
Just, it would literally go in the air and just stop and then drop.
But that's Buffalo's, D.
talking about
I'm talking about the ball in the air
in general.
I'm talking about
Tua Tungoviloa and the ball
in the air.
I'm a robin my dog.
So who you got then?
I got the dolphins.
Okay.
I got the dolphins.
I mean, yeah, I just,
this is a game I do not care about.
I probably will not watch.
You know,
dolphins are going to throw it
every single play.
But yeah,
give me the speed
on the perimeter over the jets.
Dolphins can't lose too.
Dolphins lose?
I mean, we can see
we can see our first firing of the year.
Yeah.
Is he some pieces getting shipped out?
Oh, yeah.
Tyreek Hill to Kansas City.
That's what I think that may happen.
Yeah, but I think he's bought himself some time.
Yeah, because they played him competitively.
They did.
They did.
I think, but here's the thing.
I think the first week kind of shook everybody's confidence in McDaniels playing the Colts,
because the Colts have historically, for the past several years, been the Colts.
But Colts look like World Beers right now.
Daniel Jones playing well.
Coats look good.
Yeah.
Not going to lie.
Yeah, they look fantastic.
I fucking hate the Colts, but they look good.
You going Jets?
Hold up.
Is Tyraud starting?
Tyrae Taylor.
He's starting?
It's not a fifth.
Does it matter between him and Fields?
It's also Wednesday when it's.
But Fields is better.
Huh?
Fields is better.
They're essentially the same player.
Yeah.
No, they're not.
They're fucking not.
Well, I think that was more of a testament to Pittsburgh's defense in week one because I, I drank
the Kool-A too.
Yeah, I drank the Kool-Lay.
Justin Fields looks like that guy.
And in week two, was it Buffalo?
Yeah.
Buffalo though.
I know it's Buffalo, but it wasn't even Buffalo.
He was like three for 10 or something.
And Buffalo defensively against the Ravens, it's like, oh shit.
I know you thought there was nothing, but then it's-
And Buffalo gets the pass all last year.
They were bottom of the way.
That's true.
So like how much better they were they really gonna get?
I mean, I'm not gonna go obviously.
I just say, I just wanted to see.
Dolphins.
Fuck.
I can't believe I'm.
So if Justin Fields is playing, are you going Jets?
And if Tyrod Taylor's playing, are you going?
Yeah, so I'm gonna do that.
If Justin Fields play, I'm gonna take the Jets and then.
and then if T-Rod play, I'm going to take the offense.
All right, there you go.
We're all aligned here.
I mean, it's just this game.
I hope we all go.
This game is just.
I hope we all lose every game.
Does anybody take the Chiefs?
I don't think so.
I think we all took the Ravens.
Oh, you're talking about for winning.
We all took the Ravens.
We all to the Vikings.
We all to the same.
Every pick.
Every pick.
God damn.
I mean, buddy.
Bengals at Broncos.
We look stupid up here.
We're at Broncos.
Broncos are minus seven and a half.
Total points is 43 and a half
Broncos
Broncos
I mean
Yeah
I'm fuck
Dude I mean
What are we supposed to do
What are we supposed to do
Both Monday night games
Two Monday night games
Jet Dolphin
Bang and Broncos
Wait these are Monday
Monday night football games
Do we have to do them
We gotta watch them
We gotta watch them
We gotta watch them
Dude
I mean Bronco's defense
It's nice
Like the Monday night
Just changed
The whole script
Right
Oh now we have to watch
Scott Loss this shit.
Roddening talking about how bad the Bengals are
and just how screwed they are that they don't,
because they don't have a run game.
Jake Brown and can't bail him out.
Through three picks, what, two weeks ago,
and the Vikings.
No, last week,
whatever team that they played.
And then he had two picks last week.
Like I said, they haven't been able to run the ball.
Burroughs not there to bail him out.
What about the Broncos, though?
Broncos, Bo Nix.
I'd rather just shift the conversation.
All we all think Broncos are going to win,
but at one and two, like two losses.
by one possession by field goal, whatever it is in the last two games,
like are they who they were, are they building upon last year?
Is Bo Nix going to take that next step?
Because that's what I noticed in the game versus charges.
Like there's still a big difference between Justin Herbert and Bo Nix
as far as leading those teams to, you know, hopefully a Super Bowl or whatever may be playoffs.
You big Bo Nix guy.
Here's my concern by Bo Nix.
He sets the record when he comes out of college from most starts in college.
And so my fear is like, is this just Bo Nix at his match?
maximum potential right now.
When you look at a guy like Justin Herbert, it's like he's in the Delaney Walker top five
quarterback category.
You know, he's throwing for a billion yards.
He's the fastest to however many yards.
And then Harbaugh comes in and you see like the confidence, whatever it is with Harbaugh and
Herbert, it's like, or his quarterbacks.
It's just like there's a level of gel in a confidence that comes out.
And you're seeing a new level of play from Herbert.
And so for this game, them being minus seven and a half, like that seven and a half always scares
me a little bit because you know anything can happen but I think you know the defense they're
they're like 50% pressure rate you know they have 63 pressures on the year their defense is really
good I think Bo Nix is going to be able to move and get around and get some yards on the ground himself
and be able to throw it around so I will I'm going to take the Broncos I just think who's got 60
the Broncos I got them I got them in 92 total pressures on the year in seven sacks yeah yeah
which is the highest in the NFL they have 54 504 50s
50.4 pressure rate on 6.3 percentages.
The second highest is the Packers, which we know what their pass rushes like.
They have 82 on the year.
Like this is, the Denver defense is for real.
I get the sentiment of the Bo Nix.
Or if you're, I don't think it's much of a comparison of Bo Nix and Justin Herbert.
To me, I don't feel like Bo Nix had like an all-world, like, area of talent when he was coming out.
It was just like some it factor apparently he has that Sean Payton loves.
And when I go back, because I'm a massive fan of Colin Coward, too, and I was listening to him talk about it.
He kind of has the same opinion of, like, are we seeing him, like, at his ceiling?
Like, maybe this is what we get with Bo Nix.
And when I watch a tape with the Chargers game, I see a lot of bad situations that the Broncos got themselves in when you're wanting Bo Nix to make plays.
Like, a lot of times, they had 10 penalties on the game.
And when you look at success with Bo Nix, like penalties killed them.
I had 10 in parentheses.
But when you're looking at these third down situations, he's in third and 20, third and 12, third and 19, third and 11, third and 13.
He missed a big throw in two minute at the end of the game where he just overthrew him just a little bit.
That was third and 10.
But when they're sitting there in third manageable, like they're moving the ball.
He missed a third and three inaccurately.
But they're in bad situations like when they're trying to move the rock to where they get a good play and it's coming back and they're getting penalized for it.
So as long as they clean it up discipline-wise, like that defense is for real.
You watch Justin Herbert against the Broncos defense.
Like, bro, Broncos are able to get a lot of pressure.
I know they're aggressive and they do blitz a lot,
but a lot of times on third down,
they're rushing with four guys.
They're getting pressure with just four rushers.
And coverage-wise, they're mixing a matching,
whether it's too high, double robbers.
Like, they're taking away a lot of throws
to where there's a lot of tight windows.
Justin Herbert is just a hell of a talent.
Like, there was one where he, like, you know,
he's getting out of a pressure and then, like,
throws it across his body in the end zone.
Side arm, the dude right on top of him.
Yeah.
The defenders should have made the play on that ball.
They end up getting a touchdown.
But all to say is like Denver operates defensively.
Like they know exactly what's going on to where you've been a part of those defenses
to where if the offense is checking, the defense has such a good beat on what's getting
checked out of or what they could be checking to where the defense is checking as well.
Like they're all on the same page.
Or is it Singleton, who's their middle linebacker, communicates very well.
They all communicate well, whether it's a tap on the head, a hand motion,
everybody across the board and the back seven's doing it.
They're all on the same page.
The defense for Denver is for real.
I like them this game just again,
because it's like a lot of Bo Nicks talk.
Denver's not like playing up to the expectation
like everybody thought.
They had that penalty where they should have won
against the Colts.
You know, they lost a tough game here
against the Chargers where there's a couple of missed ops
with Bo Nicks.
But again, a lot of it is situational.
Bad penalties that set up behind the sticks a lot.
I like the Broncos here.
They just got to get back.
Like they just can't beat themselves
in early down situations.
The Chargers game too.
The Chargers went up 10-0 on them
and they had 17 unanswered points.
We have three drives in a row
where they've been able to put points on the board.
As much as people want to hate on Bo Nix,
which I have kind of done a little bit,
is like he can still get the job done.
Obviously, you're going to have some inaccuracies here and there.
Everyone's going to have them.
But he's got the defense to keep him in games,
and he has the ability to make explosive plays
on the offensive side of the ball
that can take them over the edge
and win those close games.
Yeah.
The questions are there about Bo Nix,
and I think they're fair,
but it's like when you're just,
when you're just breaking down the tape of the offense
and everything else,
there are a couple inaccurate throws
where you know he's going to want him back.
Hey, you want him to rip one.
over the middle where he had a dagger where it's like hey don't hesitate just like let this thing
rip yeah so I think those questions are fair but I think like there's just he's been in a lot of
third and long situations because they've gotten penalized right right so Broncos Broncos we're
across the board every game can you just go Jets hopefully we're split on this next one yeah if you're
if you're on the fence you should go Jets no no no I can't like I said it well at least we'll have
similar records next week nothing's going to change a whole lot this is probably the game that
will change is the true classic game of the week
every Sunday's got games, but only one fits just right. This is the True Classic game of the week.
True Classic. Listen, boys, I'm wearing all True Classic right now. This is the Pima T-shirt.
Graves the arms, grabs the shoulders, grabs that little bird chest of mine right there.
And they got this nice little curve on the side. A nice little curve that gives you a little more flash
without having to spend a whole lot of money on it. Right now, you can find True Classic at Amazon
and Costco Sam's Club and Target nationwide or online at trueclic.com forward slash bussen.
Let's enjoy.
Hey, it's us, the Jonas Brothers, and guess what?
We have some big news.
What's the news, new?
Huge news.
We created our own podcast called, Hey Jonas.
We invented a podcast?
Well, we didn't invent it.
We just contributed to a podcast.
Pretty, yeah, pretty wide range of podcasts throughout there.
But this one's extra special.
So how do we actually come up with a name, Hey Jonas, guys?
I honestly don't remember.
I think it was on a call about what we should call it.
Oh, we were thinking I'm originally calling it.
one of the early names of our band before Jonas Brothers.
This is how you guys remember it going down?
Yes.
I have a very different memory of this.
We were talking about a thing, a bit for the podcast,
people could call in and say, Hey, Jonas.
And then I wrote down on my little notepad, Hey Jonas,
and offered it up as a potential title for the podcast.
But thanks for remembering that, guys.
Listen to Hey Jonas on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts,
or wherever you get your podcast.
Just listen. We don't care where you hear it.
What's up, Fam?
Isaiah Thomas. And I'm C.J. Toledano, and our podcast Point Game is about defying the odds.
Like LeBron heading into the playoffs without Luca and Austin Reed. And finding ways to win no matter what.
He's the smartest player to ever play the game. His IQ is at a level that we've never seen before.
And he knows without Luca and Austin Reeves, I got to manipulate the game.
We get a player's perspective on the challenges of the playoffs.
I think Joker's going to be exhausted this series because when they don't have Rudy in the lineup, he has to
really guard guys like Nas Reid.
He has to guard Julius Randall.
And then he has to give us everything he gives us on the night-to-night basis on offense.
And when IT's friends stop by, like Quentin Richardson, we dive into some playoff history too.
Steve Nass would get that thing.
That man, hell get the flying.
He running up the court licking his fingers why he got the ball.
Like, after you go through a training camp with that, Isaiah, you figure it out real quick.
Get your ass up and down the court, and you're going to get the ball.
So listen to Point Game on the IHeart Radio,
App, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.
Hey, I'm Deanna Maria Riva, actress, mother, lover, and a Gen X woman walking through life one hot flash and hormonal crying jag at a time.
You ladies know what I mean.
I'll bet you a perimenopausal chin here you do.
So let's talk about it.
Join me on my new podcast.
How hard can it be with Deanna Maria Riva, where I call on my Gen X squads from Ohio to Hollywood as we navigate midlife's most fantastic BS.
All of a sudden, I'd had hanginess happening on my own.
I was like, what the hell is that?
I was married when I had her, so I didn't even consider how empty that nest was going to be.
Mood swings, night sweats, fupas, sex drive.
Wait, what sex?
Dating at 45.
How high can it be getting naked at 50 with the new guy?
That one's kind of hard.
Well, that's lighting.
They say we can't polish a turd, but we're sure going to try.
So let's get blunt with laughs, tears or tears of laughter,
and dive into it unfiltered and unbothered and ask, how hard can it be?
I cannot believe I'm about to say this out loud in public.

Fideliaf Eagles at Tampa Bay Buccaneers,
Jalen Hertz versus Baker Mayfield.
Eagles are favored minus three and a half.
Total points in the game is 44 and a half points.
Baker Mayfield, three, what, last minute comebacks?
Yeah.
Game winning drives.
Thank you.
That's what that's the first of those three game winning drives in three games this year.
Eagles down.
I mean, was it 26 to what was it?
Clump, you're a huge Eagles fan?
Yeah, they're down.
26 to 27?
26 to 7?
They were down by a lot.
The Rams had 26 at half.
They had 26 to the end of the game.
And then the Eagles end up being able to throw the ball.
They let AJ unlock another route or two.
Just throw it to 11.
Throw it to 11.
Yeah.
The offense is.
Half one compared to offense and I have two completely different offense.
And I know that Tampa Bay will beat them last year and I know it's in Tampa Bay and the heat index is going to be like a 110.
103.
It's in Tampa Bay game.
But it's like if they didn't have the game against the Rams that they did last week, I would probably go Tampa in the situation.
But seeing the second half of the Eagles where Siriani walks in and goes, the second half is the offense we are.
The office we can beat where you can run the ball and you can throw the ball.
allowing Asia to do more than just a couple of slants here and there is incredibly helpful.
So I think they take that second half game plan and they say, hey, see, we can do it.
You can do it.
Go to Tampa.
They do that.
I will be taking the Eagles in this game.
I think just to get off the across the board, I'm going Tampa Bay.
Just to get off.
Just to get off. Just because, again, I think that-
A lot of injuries in Tampa Bay.
A lot of injuries in Tampa Bay.
Yeah.
Mike Evans is done.
Because I want to go Tampa too, but I.
You're getting three and a half points at home, and it's going to be north of 100 degrees.
And you got Baker Mayfield.
You got Baker, Baker, Mayfield.
Eagles got a lot of weapons, Sue.
I think Bucky Irving, he'll get going.
He's going to continue to get better.
Yeah, he's going to continue to get better.
They're going to continue to open up the offense through him.
Baker?
Baker, yeah.
Oh, he's been playing well.
Who?
Rookie.
Oh, yeah.
Oh, yeah.
He did a target.
He did a target.
Yeah, he's a main target.
Yeah, he's a big.
Yeah, he's a beast, bro.
I, you know, this is going to be a fourth quarter game and all these game winning drives and all this
mojo around Baker Mayfield.
Give me fucking Baker Mayfield in the fourth quarter against the Eagles.
You know what?
I think I'm going to ride with you, bro.
Like Taylor said it.
Ain't no team going to go undefeated this year.
This may be the way the week they take an L.
They should have.
They should have.
And I'll tell you what, the kicker for the Rams.
If I ever see him, I'll assault him because I had the Rams.
I know.
I was sitting there like.
in that game and they blocked that kick and the kicker just stands there does nothing and could
have made a tackle I'm like do he thinks the game over well the game was over but he should have
known he should have nowhere money you still covered you got to keep the cover right see the cover
get him the road bro just hit an ankle he didn't even fucking move I think he took literally three
steps and has watched him run and it's like yeah the game's over but have some fucking I was count that
I understand that my fan dual account is riding on you making a tackle.
He's just probably thinking a fucking another block kick.
Like, can we get the line?
Up the middle, too.
Up the middle.
Is Worf's still out?
He was.
He was moving.
Oh, he was moving.
Hey, he said, it's my chance.
As of right now, Tristan Worf's is still out as well.
Have they said anything about Godwin?
Yeah, like, he's on track and play.
On track?
Yeah.
What about on the eagle side, Lane Johnson?
What's the latest?
He should play too, but he got hurt on the pushbook.
If Lane Johnson can play
They need to get rid of it
Yeah, I'm a stick with it
Go ahead.
As a fan, as a fan, I want the bucks to win.
I think it's good for football.
Baker Mayfield is one of the most fun and exciting
quarterback, especially what he's been able to do
over the last three weeks.
And you saw what they were able to do at Raymond James last year.
Buddy threw for damn near 400 yards,
but they had Mike Evans, they had Godwin,
they're not going to have them this time,
and their left tackle.
I think there's just too many injuries.
Right tackle, sir.
Sorry.
Too many injuries to overcome.
So I'm rolling with the eagles.
But I hope I'm wrong.
I hope I'm wrong as a fan.
But I'm not.
But I can't be wrong.
But I hope.
What you got for us?
Something fun to look for.
The Bucks brought Desmond Watson on the practice squad.
He's the guy who weighs 440 pounds.
Oh, they brought him back.
Vita Vaya also weighs almost 400 pounds.
Bring him in.
They're going to try to stop the tush push with 800 pounds in the middle.
So that'll be fun to love that.
But is he?
Is he on that?
Liquid IV game right here.
The bag liquid IV game.
But it looks like they brought him back just to see if they could stop the Tush push.
What's his weight?
He lost his weight.
He lost weight.
Are they asking to put it back on though for this week?
Maybe.
Maybe.
Well, he's still on a practice squad.
You can elevate for like a game or two.
I have a feeling they will elevate him and we will see if that stops the Tush push to
two 400 pound guys in the middle.
What a perfect time for the Eagles to run something else out of that way.
Yeah, that fake pitch.
Yeah, a fake.
A little flip.
What I'd be nervous about is if it's a tush push on the goal line
because that's a pretty far jog to get out there in that package.
Yeah, true.
You need that to be around the 50.
Right.
You know what I mean?
Everybody get in there.
Wheel them out, dude.
Just wheel them out with a mask and undo them and put them out there.
He tired already.
So this is, okay, finally we have a game to go.
They were split on.
We're up Tampa.
We both.
Bucks.
Eagles.
I like it.
That's the only one week.
And honestly, I would be going bucks this week if it wasn't for the Rams game.
Because that second half, like,
the turnaround. They got checked.
That was essentially their Packers Brown game
where it's like, hey, you guys aren't as good as you think you are.
But they were able to fix it at halftime
as opposed to, you know, after the game was over.
The two of you are either going to go
undefeated or completely defeated this week.
Or we can just go three.
No, yeah, yeah.
We can all, we can go
one loss or one win.
And what I don't like about it either
because it just feels and never work out this way,
but we have all the favorites.
Yeah
Besides the game
I don't know
I had like a six-lane
Parlay two weeks ago
And I picked all favorites
On the noon
On the noon slot
And I hit
All favorites with the points
Yeah
You didn't move the line
I think I did money line
Yeah money line
Yeah
You're right
The check
It's like Bengals
Getting 7 and a half
I fucking hate that
Cowboys getting six and a half
The rest are field goal games
Yeah
I bet the boys
Parley
Hand up
I suck at this right now
I suck at this right now
and my pick
T-Mack for the Panthers
would make you think
well he hasn't scored a touchdown this year Taylor
why would he score a touchdown now
he's playing the Patriots
okay they're awful through the air
I like Team Mac
if you guys want to cut right now
to the NFL draft
and goes
that's a good opportunity
this cat I'm telling you
he's got to get one eventually
why not this week
my man catches everything
but
when they get in that hand zone
They're getting that red zone.
I don't know why the fuck they ain't throwing that rock.
Right.
It's a stud.
I know.
I don't get it.
He's good at football.
He is.
The man can catch, bro.
Yeah.
Jesus Christ.
I got Josh Jacobs.
You don't say.
That's a great pick.
The only thing that'd be more egregious than that, though, would be Jonathan Taylor.
Dylan, who you got?
Jonathan Taylor.
Let's go.
Those keeping track at home, I've hit the last two weeks, and we'll make it a turkey right here.
Give me Jordan Mason on the Vikings.
Love that.
Broke 100 yards, two touchdowns last week,
headed over to Ireland, Dublin,
against a bad SINC team.
He's going to do it again.
Yeah, that injury helped him so much.
Bad Steelers team.
Because he was a star, though, they're both.
He was a star behind McCasker.
You understand.
AMC North.
Right.
Like, Jordan was a star in San Francisco.
Obviously, they had the Great White Hope,
so he wasn't going to be able to start there.
Coming to the Vikes.
really helped out. Great White Hope.
Oh, Christian McAfee, because when Jordan was up there, like, he's a beast.
Oh, he's about 49ers?
Yeah, he's a beast.
I don't know why they traded him away.
Because they got McAfee.
They got McAfree.
Yeah, but if you're looking at the 49ers injury history, ooh, Nick Bosa, by the way.
Nick Bosa.
Can I change my NFC West pick?
I mean, I know the 3 and O the 49ers, but.
Yeah, I think that's, I think that's for the buck stops.
Mag Jones.
I told you all.
He's the lady's bull.
He talks shit about him a little bit.
I saw him at a little golf charity event.
He's not helping coaches this year.
Two and O.
Hey, I'm in telling you.
Seattle.
Seattle?
He picked Seattle, right?
Seattle looks good.
The Rams look good too.
I know.
This whole division look good.
So I'm like, now I'm sitting here like, fuck.
Like, who will win it?
It's a toss up.
Arizona looks good.
Like, all, all, all, everything is good.
Chill out, chill out.
James Connor just went down.
Their whole, oh, yeah, he did.
Damn, didn't he just break his ankle?
Paris Johnson, Jr.
He's questionable for the game as well.
He broke his ankle.
right?
Oh, bro.
He said, yeah, he's fucked.
He's fucked.
He's hoping it was just a brain.
He's, I think everything in his knee is torn.
His knee?
Or, like, it looked like his knee or everything in his ankle.
Yeah, knee and below, it's gone.
I mean, the shit was boned.
You don't really see, but you can see his foot up the bottom.
Yeah, it's facing the opposite way it should be facing.
That's what I said.
That's what I said.
Didn't this happen?
Whenever y'all just walked off and go.
Marvin Harrison Jr.,
Can't catch right now?
He's got the yips.
He's got the yips.
He's got the yips.
He got the yips.
He's got to ask him questions.
You can just see the defeat on his face.
If I'm the colonel's coaching stuff, it's like, we got to feed him early.
Early.
Yeah.
Hit him a couple of bubble screens.
Like, hey, buddy.
See, it works.
Quick.
Give him some quick shit.
Go live with Larry Fitzgerald.
No, his daddy.
What are you talking about?
He don't need his dad right now.
Yeah.
He don't hear from his dad right now.
He needs to go see him.
He needs to go see him.
No, Larry Fitzgerald going to come at him crazy, though.
He's like the dog too.
I know, that's what I'm saying.
He's letting the family down right now.
He's like Ohio State down right here.
You saw what I was it.
Roman Wilson said about him though.
Oh, you don't remember after the Ohio State game
at Michigan a couple years ago?
He goes, you know, people want to wear
the Louis Vuitton, $1,000 cleats.
But really, I see you out there.
I see the film. You're not tough. You're not him.
He was talking about Marvin Harrison Jr.
Oh.
He's playing somewhere.
He's gritted out in special teams.
What he's doing.
He's on the Pittsburgh.
No catchers.
No catchers.
All four.
All four four.
How many opportunities?
No drops, though, either.
Yeah, no drops though either, does he?
Roman Wilson.
That was a good.
Ten year NFL vet future.
Good show!
I'm this closest flipping all my picks.
I've been thinking of the same.
At Taylor 1 77.
If I'm going to do it, I will let you guys know before Sunday kicks off.
This is the, this may be.
the week because all these games has just been like
see this is why I feel like favorites are
good is like every year there's like a wonky week
and last week was the week. You think it was? Yeah last week was the week
with the you know Rams kind of doing what they did oh yeah and then the
Packers sluze into the Browns it was just a weird week. Ravens getting
whooped by the Lions yeah no and it's like all right this is where everything
kind of like resets a little bit so I kind of like favorite picks this week
everyone kind of like recalibrated and if it didn't happen to them they're pointing and be like
See those guys.
We don't want to be the Packers this week.
Well, this is the fourth quarter.
Huh?
Who's to say it doesn't say the same?
Who's to say?
It's why we play the game.
Put the ball down on Sunday.
Yeah.
Parlay all the favorites.
It's plus 43, 43.
Really?
With the points, though.
I'll see what's up.
Favorites money line?
No, the spread.
Yeah, that's where it gets a little hairy.
That's where it gets hairy.
It's always hairy with the spread, but.
Thursday.
We will be streaming Seahawks, Cardinals, tune in.
It's going to be an amazing time.
You come in this week?
I'll let you know.
If you do come, are you going to talk this week?
Probably not.
All right, fair enough.
Clay's beautiful face will be there.
Delaney obviously handles the chat better than anybody in the entire world.
Wilcocton, his head will be there.
Let's have a time.
Good show.
Love you, Clay.
Love you, Clay.

Hey guys, it's us.
The Jonas Brothers.
I'm Joe.
I'm Kevin.
And I'm Nick.
And guess what?
We created our own podcast.
called Hey Jonas.
We invented a podcast?
Well, we didn't invent it.
We just contributed to it.
We're the first people to do podcasts.
We get to ask other people questions because we're sick and tired of being asked questions.
Well, sick and tired is a strong way to put it, but, you know, tired and sick.
Tired and sick.
Listen to Hey Jonas on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcast.
Just listen.
We don't care where you hear it.
Hey, I'm Deanna Maria Riva.
And on my new podcast, How Hard Can It Be?
I call on my Gen X squad from Ohio to Hollywood as we navigate midlife's
most fantastic BS. Unfiltered conversations from night sweats to futas to scheduling sex. Wait,
what sex? Is it just me or does every woman my age want to look at Pinterest instead of having
sex sometimes? They say we can't polish a turd, but we're sure going to try. So let's get blunt with
laughs, tears or tears of laughter. Listen to How Hard Can It Be with Deanna Maria Riva on the IHeart
Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. What's up, fam? It's Isaiah Thomas.
And I'm C.J. Toadon.
It's our favorite time of the year on our podcast point game, the playoffs.
We're digging into the biggest surprises of the season.
And I'm looking back on some of my greatest playoff moments.
If we didn't talk ever again, I was part of it.
You just understood.
That's how personal it got.
Wow.
Then after that game seven, Marquis come in, he's like, you know I love you, dog.
You know, it's all love.
This was just playoffs.
This was just basketball.
So listen to Point Game on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.
This is an IHeart podcast.
