Is I looked at the levels, it was like 371-1, is after taxes and everything. If I put that in a 5% non-tax, I bond, that's $18.75 million a year.

Yeah. That you're tax-free. You're sitting, you're chilling. But what's more fun than how much you could make is what would be your first purchase. That's what I'd like to know from the boys. We talked about, hey, a golf stream, buying some property, what will be your first purchase?

Now, you can't tell me about you and Charles, you know, you know, like, you're not going to tell anybody. Yeah, I think that's the first question is who you're telling if you win the lottery. And I'll keep it in the Bahamas, and we'll fly there so nobody will know. You know, you'll never see it. You'll never see me on it. Before we get into it, talk to me about the jitters you have week one of the NFL season. Man, that's crazy. Like, playing jitters? Yeah. Man, goddamn, yeah. It's probably the worst week one jitters because you don't know what's going to happen. You expecting the team to be great, but you know they're shitty and you're going out there. You got to put the team on your back.

You know, that shit is nerve-wracking. because you got to show up. You know what I mean? Like, me and you, we had to show up. I love you to me. Delaney, when you were, but I bet you expectations were different from when you played for the 49ers versus the Titans. I know for, you know, playing in Green Bay every year

was kind of Super Bowl or bust. When you had Aaron Rogers as your quarterback and you had the pieces we had every year was like, all right, this is our year. Especially, you know, winning the Super Bowl in 2010, my second year, and then just 2011, 15 and 1, you figured the next year was going to be the next year.

So expectations were always just like, all right, here we go again. But it was exciting. It's an exciting time. I mean, I still get those like the training can't, you know, in August is in the air. I know we're in September now, but like it's exciting. I'm happy to be a fan now. You know, all that anxiety, nerves and whatnot are calm down a little bit. But yeah, there's something in the air, week one.

I was in fighter flight the entire time. I mean, there's just the situation. You're thinking of stuff. I got to show up this week. Yeah, it's like, okay, you know, my first. Yeah, it's like, okay, you know, my first year I was on Peace Squad. Second year when I made the team, I'm thinking, like, you got to get a tackle. I got to make a player, you can get cut.

Like when I became the starter, it's like, I got to play at the level to keep my job. I can't get injured. If you're injured, you got to play through injury because you never want to be off the field for somebody else to like overtake your spot. With the Titans, I remember going into week one in 2018. I was playing both like the Mike and Moe. They called the Weekside the Moe. By the kind of both spots the entire week, I was playing. playing Mo and then on the walk through Saturday before the game coach Ty comes up to me he's like hey

you got to you got to do the mic uh the mic spot this week which the mic is where I did training campaign I was doing the Mo studying for the Texas the entire time then you flipped the mic so I was just in fighter flight basically my entire career except for the last few years when I'm kind of you're just you were playing for fun yeah like when I'm playing of course yeah of course I'm playing and have fun but I'm just saying like you're just yeah yeah yeah because we have an energy hey we'll see you week one Yeah, we're like, hey, we need you back out tomorrow. Yeah, the couple of years where I got to sit out the fourth preseason, like, you're flying high, you're feeling good, you're, you're like grateful, you're like, oh, fuck, this is awesome.

But, like, all the other years, besides, like, the last couple when I just felt like I was playing with House Money, where it's like, I'm just going to enjoy playing this game since I loved it so much growing up. But the anxieties and everything and stress that comes with it, that shit is real. Yeah. No, it's real. I'm envies towards like the rookies that are going in the week one because they're just so excited. Like, when my first year of the Titans, it's like, we end up going to $2 and 14. But like in camp, I'm like, you know, we could win the Super Bowl. Like, this is going to be amazing.

I have no idea about the talent level we have or anything. We go with the first game against Kansas City beat their ass 20. To 10. Beatle. I'm like, yo, we got a fucking squad out here. And then we don't want another game. So like, we're not. But like, as a rookie, when you're playing as a rookie, you're just like,

yo, this is amazing. Like, I'm playing in the NFL. Like, you have like an okay game, a bad game. It's like, or I can work on that. But like, this is fucking dope. And everybody on your team's like a great player. Like, everybody on your team's like a good player. And then you play against other punch, you're like, yeah, they're pretty fucking good.

When we're having this like small conversation, I'm just thinking about your career. And like you're at USC where it's like, you guys are to win 10, 11 games every single year. And then you go to the Packers and it's like you guys are to win your division every single year with Aaron Rogers. He kind of had a luxury of knowing you're always going to win. Yeah. No, I mean, it's, yeah, it's nice having a quarterback. I learned that, you know, drafted with Aaron as a quarterback. Like, you just, you take it for granted.

I think the Packers fan base takes that for granted. It's like going far to Rogers to love. But ultimately for me, like I didn't even go into the Rams my last year, year 11, I had Jared Gough who's still playing at a high level, but he wasn't Aaron Rogers and I was like, wow, I miss Aaron. Like he's that good and he can get you to the next level. But yeah, I mean, so much of your success based on the, whether it's tackle, tight-in, linebacker is based on quarterback playing some of the skill position.

So yeah, I was fortunate in that regard. I played for, you know, two great, you know, a great program, great organization, and we just had great pieces in place to get us to the next level. Especially coaching too. Y'all had a long-time coach up in Green Bay as well, so that goes a long way.

I remember when your defense was just, you guys were the topic, obviously you had Aaron Rogers, but just the topic of conversation because of Leboe and all the different things that you guys did. No, Dom Capers. Capers, my fault. Yeah, he was the year where you guys played, it's like the defenses you guys played against each other

and it talked about the schematics of how you guys did everything under the sun. You're having basically everybody on the line of scrimmage standing up. Oh, psycho personnel. Yeah, we had like one down line man running around. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. It was, fun. Beautiful. Let's see to the games. Let's enjoy this. Let's enjoy this moment. Boys, can we enjoy something real quick before the game start? So I just, you know, I know these might be banned by the NFL, but I figured I'd, you know, bring some of the boys. These are smelling. And that defense is going to disrupt, stop that rhythm of the Chiefs. If they could do that, it's going to be a game. And I feel like the Chargers are going to come off the top. That's why I'm taking the money line. I respectfully disagree with your opinion. Now, this is a great AFC West, divisional matchup. Last two games, last year under Harbaugh, decided by one touchdown or less.

However, the Chargers did not eclipse 100 yards rushing in both of those games. So what do they do this off season? They go out, they get Najee Harris. They get Omari-on. It's got some great singles, by the way. You know what I'm saying? Mr. Fourth of July. Post-the-July.

Moneyline Delaney on the favorites. Yeah. Clay, I love the breakdown by both of you guys. Phenomenal stuff. The only thing I have to do is back up with a little bit of data right here. I mean, week one, Kansas City Chiefs away games, they're six and O against a spread. That's what they are.

Internationally, they're three and O against the spread as well. Chargers, they're 0 and 3 against the spread. Everything you said, everything you said, give me the Chiefs cover this game. Jim Harball is 5 and O against the spread home openers. I like the Chargers. their first in points on defense last year, first in the red zone on defense last year, where I see an issue for Kansas City. He's not having Rishie Rice. He's under suspension right now.

And when you look at their line of scrimmage, they had a lot of problems last year. Mahomes was sacked the most in his career. And on the left side, they didn't do a whole lot. You got a, what's his name, Josh Simmons. He was a second rounder that they picked. And then you have a second year player at the left guard spot. I still see the charges being able to expose that left side of the line of scrimmage. I see the charge. Chiefs having problems. I like the Chargers in this game. I like the Chargers plus three with the points.

I also think this is a heavy week one NFL, Underweek. Oh, I think Underz, you can go almost across the board. I love everything you said. Chargers are technically the home team, but they are playing in Brazil. Right, right. They are playing in Brazil.

Like you said, they do have a high power offense on the 49ers, so you got to have a high power defense. And then you have the longbackers. I want to say they defense, Seattle defense. was in the top 10, ranked number five.

So those boys are not playing. They're coming after those boys. This is going to be a matchup. They plan at the 12th man stadium where you've been there before. Been there, yeah. You know what it's like. I know what it's about.

I'm just saying. It's going to be a tough atmosphere for those boys. So I'm going with the Seattle Seahawks. The dogs at home? I'm going with the dogs at home. I feel like you're getting the Legion of Boom era of defense mixed up with last year's defense. Last year, Seattle was 27th against the run.

I also like Sam Donald, he had a hell of a year for the Minnesota Vikings last year, but at the end of the year, he fumbled the back against the... Lions and then again in the playoffs as well.

But I think what we're gonna see is what Sean Payton did with the Broncos and what we're seeing Harbaugh do

with the charge. But for me, I'm away for Scott Hansen to show me these touchdowns. I know you boys are, you know, loyalists to, Braves so I'm gonna let you hit on that. Who you taking? You're taking Scott Hanson? He's taking Redson? I didn't give you yet. But I do like the Patriots.

I think the fact that they're in Foxborough, they're gonna probably bring all the dogs out, Grong, who knows? You know Edelman's gonna be there. Yeah, Edelman, I know Tom probably can't be there, but I think there's just gonna be too much fanfare. They're gonna show up. Tom gonna be on the Raiders side.

But he also can't call those games. Yeah, he won't call it. But is Stevenson starting or Henderson? Do we know? They're kind of like a one-two-parties. Henderson right now is in the depth chart. But Hendrickson, keep your eye. When they get the fringe area in the red zone.

The issue I see with Mike Vrable and his strengths is he doesn't know what kind of play he's going to get out of Ashton Genti, what he's going to get out of Colton Miller, or he's going to get at Geno Smith. But more than anything, Chip Kelly just came back from college.

He was in Philly and there's not a whole lot. You can't go back to Philly and watch these are his tendencies because Chip Kelly is known for having a great offensive brain. So it's kind of like a we'll wait and see. And based on what they give us is what we'll put out there. And then Pete Carroll, I mean, you know all about it. I mean, he won a Super Bowl. The guy was an absolute stud at USC.

When I look at Chip Kelly, him being in Philly, before he got drunk with power, they had a hell of an offense. And then they started to fall apart a little bit than Howard Roseman end up taking over again. Chip Kelly goes to college, has an incredible season, wins a national championship with Ohio State. Now he's back with the Raiders as an O.C. position and the perfect position you should be in with the offense he wants with a running back. He's going to get him downhill. I see the Raiders cover in this game. I see the Raiders winning this game. I don't know you didn't say that at first. Also, Will Campbell.

Rookie officer. I'm in fourth overall pick. A lot of people coming out of him about how short his arms are. He is going to be a, he's going to be a guy that plays 12, 15 years in the league. you know i don't know if it's a pro ball all pro guy but he's going to be a guy's like holy shit he's still playing he's a dog though our kids are having kids and he's still in the league doing doing his thing he is a rookie right now yeah that defensive line if i if i'm the raiders if i'm pete carroll i'm taking the uh the commodore condor oh max you talk about max i'm thinking max put him over on that right side of the defense side of the ball and he's a dog yeah he reminded me of you so well well campbell yeah he ain't even played it down though

You got Devin White, who's over there. Is he going to get back to his days of when he was with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers? But who's going to show up defensive? for the Raiders, to me that's the question mark. But as far as offensively,

Pete Carroll, Chip Kelly, I hate picking against Raids right now because I feel like they kind of revamped both sides of the ball with starters, but who's going to block Max out of Morgan, Moses, and Will Campbell? Hell of a first day for those boys. I like the Raiders.

And outside of Harold Landry, I like the Raiders to, yeah. Outside of Harold Landry, I don't see a lot of pass rush out of the Patriots from the small sample size that I was able to see. When we were there, they do like the youth and the ability and the potential that is there.

Like cats, you won't walking off the bus, but yeah, who's gonna. How are the Raiders scoring? That's what I know, because Gino doesn't have DK. He doesn't have Lockett. He doesn't have Smith and Gigbaugh. I know he's got Brock Bowers.

I think it's the not knowing what they're going to get on the Patriot side. or on the Raider side, that makes you say, okay, I hear the latest. You'll see a lot of 12 personnel with Brock Bowers and Michael Mayer. Oh, yeah, definitely. Yeah. You have to. Those two dudes out there, you gotta see that.

But 12 is not, it's like 12, but it's like having you in the field. It's like, yeah, you have a tight end. He's got a tight end number, but he's also. You got two guys who can catch the, yeah, you get two receiving type guys. But they both block though. They both block their ass off. I understand.

But I'm going with the better overall roster right here. And that's the Baltimore Ravens, a better quarterback, the better running back, the better defense. You looked at their games last year. They split whatever week it was when they played them during the regular season. Derek Henry rushes for 200 yards.

You look at the playoff game. Baltimore turns it over three days. times. Andrews drops that two-pointer to take him into overtime or to tie it up at least. Didn't give the ball to Derek Henry enough. I think they absolutely feed him this time against the middle of the pack run defense that the bills have. I think he runs for another 200. I think the Ravens win this handedly with the handedly. Handedly. Like, you know, two scores, two scores. Two scores is a lot. I like the Ravens pick. The only thing that makes me nervous about the Ravens is just how sloppy they can play.

Like, I remember watching that game last year. Who were they playing the Chiefs in the opener? Just fall starts, penalties, doing things to shoot themselves in the foot. They were still in the game. Oh, buddy, the tight end. Yeah, Isaiah likely at the very end of the game. I do like the Ravens. I also like the under in this game.

I think week one unders are the clearest path to success when you're thinking about betting on NFL week one. unders is always the move. I like where your head's at. when you look at week one of last year against Kansas City Chiefs at Kansas City. At that point, John Harbaugh is trying to figure out what's you gonna do with Derek Henry?

Because Lamar Jackson, you know, like 75% of his snaps before Derek Henry was in the shotgun, you know, having the back off to his right or left. Derek Henry hates having the shotgun RPO type of rethink. So they have to figure out a way to, how do we get into center and get Derek Henry downhill? Obviously they figured that out last year. The stat that I have that makes me go for the Ravens

is Lamar Jackson's 12 and 2 against a spread when he's an underdog. I think that is, I mean, I pick the bills. What's that? Good stat. Good stat. I like the bill, I like the bills long term. I like the bills in the Super Bowl. I like the bills winning the Super Bowl. Obviously, they were my futures pick. I like the Ravens covering here. I'm taking Ravens money line. They're going win the game. Plain and simple. They fueled off from last year losing to these boys. I just feel like they got something to prove. There's a lot of clips out there right now. A lot of times, you know, after the season, oh, last year was last year.

I mean, they understand their offense a little bit better for sure with their. They know how to use them. And then on the defense, they got 10. out of 11 key players coming back. I'm trying to think like this day the fast starter?

And I think there's been a lot of disruption between head coach and quarterback that we've seen in the public eye. I mean, they got a lot of young guys for the bear. So we're going to see, we're going to see what's going to happen. It comes down to Caleb Williams. This is his, obviously it's everybody's biggest year, but this is his biggest year. Generational quarterback. Generational quarterback. Like he's got the roster. You

talked about it. DeAndre Swift. You got DJ Moore, Roma, D. You got Luther Byrdon that they drafted out of Missouri this year. You got Colson Loveland and Cole Comet. They revamped the old line, spent a lot of money to bring in Joe Tune, Drew Dalman and Jonah Jackson. You got Darnel Wright. Is he going to be the guy that they drafted out of Tennessee, Braxton Jones at the left tackle? But they got the guys. They bring in Grady Jarrett from the Atlanta Falcons, who's good on defense.

You got Kevin Byrd in the back end, Montez Sweat on the other side. They have the roster. It's all about Caleb Williams. and if Ben Johnson and him can get in line and he can execute the offense the way Ben Johnson sees it, whether or not it's dumbed down from what he was doing in Detroit.

Because when he's in Detroit, everybody's catching the ball, the creativity that Ben Johnson has. It's all there, motions, everything. But can Caleb Williams retain all of this stuff, dish the ball out to all these guys and make the offense effective and make Ben Johnson's offense work for him?

I like Minnesota. I think it's valid all the question marks. what's J.J. McCarthy going to be like. But Kevin O'Connell, he's proven it. Doesn't matter who the quarterback is. They do it year in and year out. You got Justin Jefferson. They spent money on the old line as well.

They have a lot of new faces. But getting Ryan Kelly and Willie Fries out of Indianapolis, they're going to help offensively. They live under center. They're one of the top teams when it comes to play action pass. And they brought over to compliment Aaron Jones, Jordan Mason from the 49ers who can run the ball really well. So I think, again, they're going to live through the run game.

You got play action passes being set up for, Justin Jefferson. T.J. Hawkinson is healthy. He's with him this year. Addison? Yeah, you got Addison. Addison is suspended right now. Is he? Yeah, for the car, DUI or domestic. Six games, although it was three games. Was it the DUI, right? The DUI, yeah, it was the DUI.

Yeah, he got suspended. But still, they bring in Adam Thielen back. You still got Jalen Naylor. Is it Naylor? Yeah. Jalen Naylor. Defensively, Flores is one of the best in the game, period. They're like they're like the only team that have like three guys over seven sacks because all the different packages and everything else. They got a good linebacker unit. They got guys up front.

I like Minnesota in this game because to me it's like who's Caleb Williams going to be. And I think that answer is far to be determined. Yeah, I'm talking about pressures too. Jay doesn't feel like he has a whole lot of pressure. Like you feel like, okay, this should be growing pains with cable's like you got to show us now. Like get out of the nail salon. It's time to figure it out who you are. They went out and got guys for you.

Jordan Addison suspended. Like, yeah, Thielen's, you know, but who do they have out there? Aaron Jones can't carry the load by himself. I don't see their offense playing really well.

And I tell you what, there's not a team that wins the offseason more than the Chicago Bears. They don't actually win the offseason, but there's always hike. there's always hope about it. But those clips I saw in the preseason, Ben Johnson's offense, despite, you know, the quotes that are coming out about, you know, working with Caleb, that drive they had on whatever it was, I know it's just preseason,

I love Graham Glasgow. He was obviously very good at guard last year. He moves in the center. I know Graham personally by playing with him in Michigan. He's a very smart, very capable player. I don't know if he's the, he's going to be verbal as a leader that Frank Ragnow, possibly was. Frank Ragnow gives me Ben Jones vibes. There was a game we played against the Jets. Our guard was not playing well. Our left guard. So we pulled the left guard. We put in a different

center and played left guard next to me. Instead of the center making the call, Ben was still staying up there, pointing left and right, who's the mic, what's the safety rotation, all that. Frank Ragnall gives me that vibe. So the biggest question, the biggest pain point for me isn't lions losing their OC. It isn't the lions losing their DC. I think Jared D.F. is a capable and smart enough quarterback to be very diminished. about what he likes and does not like, I think it comes down to the center being gone, the leadership hole that is now missing with the Lions,

which makes me edge towards the Packers. That's where I'm at. Because it's like Glasgow, ceiling not as high as Ragnow, but he'll be confident enough, like he'll be solid, but what are your guards going to be like? That interior is massive, especially when you're a team that's known for running the football, run the football.

I mean, but they got the back. Packers got the run defense too. They do. One of the best in the league last year. We lost Kenny Clark. Yeah, he lost Mr. Yeah, yeah.

Kenny Clark's a dog, too. I know. And Michael, not a, he's not a run stopper. Definitely not a run stopper. No. He's, I mean,

Let's get. Because I think we obviously don't know who the true winner of that trade is until we see

who the picks are and how those picks develop for Dallas. Jerry Jones, when he sits there and does a press conference of like, who says we can't go get a pro bowl player now, we are a drafted a developed team, which they are. Like they have drafted numerous pro bowlers. They have so much talent on their team every single year. It's always like a culture or it's like too much distraction within that building that doesn't allowed them to be successful. But buddy, like, you got a kid, Micah Parsons, who is a generational talent. He is one of those keys, 25, 26 years old with, like, he hasn't hit his ceiling of what

his potential is. You get Kenny Clark, who's a great runstopper. He's a great leader for the Packers for a very long time. But you're basically punting on the season, being like, we're going to be really great down the road. And the Packers are saying, like, hey, we can actually win now. I think, I think Dallas, right now you look at Dallas, like, you guys have lost that trade until further notice right now micha parsons when it comes to the back i think that's chess one of the easiest things to fake in the league is the back you hear from trainers all the time l5s1 over here i know he's got real issues but other guys like if they're not feeling it they got well back back because backs can come back clean and they still they still hurt i think when

negotiations started getting personal between jerry jones and michael parsons it's like who what owner goes up to the player and negotiates the contract then goes to the agent and says hey we got it all figured out yeah that was a lie crazy Old school. That was a crazy. Man, that was a lie. And also ridiculous. Loves a handshake.

You know that was a lie. You know those owners of shakes, man. They love to have them. You know that was a lie. That dude didn't go up there and greeted nothing. And then... He might have. I think he might have.

You ever heard the negotiation story with Tony Romo? No. You should check that out. Legitimately. Him and Parcells like had him in a small room. They were trying to get him to sign this dinner. And ultimately Romo like postured up, kept his poise and everything else. And Jerry was like, I respected it out.

and they gave him the contract that Romo had wanted, but they got the deal done right there when they were sitting like, Romo said that they were sitting like knee to knee. It was him, Parcells. They were trying to get him out of practice, trying to get him to sign. And it's a cool story. But I believe that he might have had Parsons one-on-one. And they agree with it.

When you look at how much the pass-rusher market went up just this off-season, I think Max was the first one to stop Max Crosby at $39 million. Miles Garrett, 40. Not, I'm making, T.J. Watt, 45. Micah 47. I mean, it went up $7, $8 million in one off season, which is unheard of. So it very well could have been a handshake.

You missed not being in the... Missed that power ball water is a big. That's why I'm playing the Powerball. Yeah, yeah. But when the Dallas, when Jerry Jones says our team got better after that trade, I fucking threw up in my mouth.

Man, like, I respectfully, if I were to play the other side and disagree with you, We know how important culture is in the locker room. Dallas was a bottom five defense across the board last year. It's not like he was so all-world. And then there's this part of being such a freak and so good in an organization

to where you have the pod going. You have all the stuff going to where Micah's kind of transcending beyond the defense to where he's playing Michael Parsons ball however he wants to play because he knows he's got the entire city. He's got everything on his side. You go to the Packers. You might have initially, a little bit more of team playing team defense because you're fitting into a different puzzle you're

around different faces different coaches a different locker room so that's where i find myself saying like i feel like this was a win for both sides because it could have gotten to a point to where even players are saying i don't know this that did have hey now we know what we're doing we can move forward kind of like this was a good thing to happen who knows you can read in between the lines but to where players are probably like we got to figure out if this dude's even going to be on the field with us he as great as he is he's going to get you sex and everything else but you still need to get better in a bunch of other categories, getting two first round picks to where they have four in the next two years, and you bring a cornerstone or a leadership

culture guy, good player out of a three-time pro bowl with Kenny Clark. That's where, in my opinion, I feel like they won because you kind of get rid of, hey, this is becoming, this is getting a little too, this food's getting spoiled over here. We need to get it while the values where it's at. We can get better down the road, maybe look to the future, but it's not like you're going to get any worse this year based on the way that they performed defensively last year. He's either a genius or he backs. crazy because he got rid of a problem because yeah he do have a podcast and i feel like he think that podcast is what made him who he is with football is the reason why people do you don't twitter arguing

with that with anybody too yeah so he's got to expect it yeah absolutely you got to respect but then he goes and tell green bay packer fans one day i'm just going to disappear y'all going to find me in africa i don't want to hear that as a fan that a player we just bring in we giving them 47 million a year says, yeah, one day I may just disappear on y'all and be in Africa. Like, that's crazy. There's a side of like the individual player, individual player brand building that we all respect because it's like get whatever you can out of the league because it's going to get everything it can out of you.

And then there's also the part of us that's also team locker room for the logo, the name on the front and everything else where it's like, yeah, I can see why, like to me it's like this is a win for all sides. Green Bay going to get, trying to go get their championship, get a high-end, high-level pass rusher, an icon with Michael Parsons. And Dallas, let's just, let's turn the page, let's move on, and let's go try to win some games.
