Good afternoon, ladies gentlemen. Welcome to the first episode. Really, we did a future Sparklight,
but the first episode of NFL, the locker room with myself, Will Compton, Delaney Walker, and Clay Matthews games.
You've waited all year long, and it is finally here. Happy football season. It is officially back.
We got the Kansas City Chiefs at the charges. I say at with the kind of because they're down south of the border at Brazil.
We got the 49ers who are finally healthy against a very ugly and getting after a defense in the Cincinnati, the Seahawks.
Ravens at Bills, Vikings at Bears.
We got a full show for you today.
It's going to be a whole lot better than this intro was.

Guaranteed Human.
Hey, guys, it's us.
The Jonas Brothers.
I'm Joe.
I'm Kevin.
And I'm Nick.
And guess what?
We created our own podcast called, Hey, Jonas.
We invented a podcast?
Well, we didn't invent it.
We just contributed to it.
We're the first people to do podcasts.
We get to ask.
other people questions because we're sick and tired of being asked questions.
Well, sick and tired is a strong way to put it, but, you know, tired and sick.
Tired and sick.
Listen to Hey Jonas on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcast.
Just listen. We don't care where you hear it.
I'm Michelle McPhee, and I've been unraveling the strangest criminal alliance I've ever reported on.
A Mormon polygamist and an Armenian businessman.
Multi-million dollar house, Ferraris and Lamborghinis, private jets, a billion dollar.
fraud. But how long
can this alliance last? Tell me
what you know. Is somebody
coming after me?

Last night, a blown call changed a game.
This morning, the internet lost its mind.
And nobody's telling you exactly
what happened. That's where Sports Slice comes in.
I'm Timbo. In every episode,
we're cutting through the noise, breaking down the
biggest moments in sports and giving you
the real story behind the headline.
And we're going straight to the source,
the athletes themselves.
Their locker room stories,
their reactions in the moment,
and the stuff nobody gets to hear.

And the only way you should be kicking things off is with the one, the only the Fandil sports book.
The boys will be streaming tonight, Thursday night football.
Oh, that's the right ended.
Okay.
Now, why should you kick things off of Fandil Sports Week?
Because every game during week one, Fandul is giving all customers a no-sweat NFL bet.
Your no-sweat bet can be used on any NFL wager type.
That's money line, spreads, and totals.
That same game parlayes, anytime touchdowns.
That's any and everything in between.
And if you don't hit, you're getting yourself some bonus bets in return.
To the go-to app for every snap, Fandall.
Just visit fandle.com.
Bussing to launch this NFL season with a no sweat bet every game day during week one.
I got to be honest, I kind of zoned out at my last line I was supposed to read,
zoned out, and then I kind of got spooked back into it real quick.
So it's what fendhal does, man.
That's what fandle does.
Bonus bets.
Bonus bets are everywhere.
They start flying all over the place.
They're hitting the jackpot every single weekend.
Streaming tonight.
Speaking of the power ball boys.
1.3 million.
Oh, 1.3 million or billion?
Billion.
Billion.
Yeah.
Billion.
Yeah.
$1.3 billion. Right now, I believe the lump sum payout is $583 million. I mean, yeah, I think
that's what it is right now. I know that's what it's last night. It's almost as if we have a text
going, talking about what we're going to buy if we win? Dude, we were texting about it.
Because that's, that was his, what would he do anything for? I know. Well, because I saw, I was
driving on the highway and I saw like the power balls at 1.1. And so that night, it was Saturday,
I texted Claire, my buddy, it might be time. And you were like, I would put 20 on that.
I got two tickets. I already had $20 worth, but we came up.
I got two numbers right though, so that's, you know, I'm thinking maybe we could, this next time it'll
So when I haven't done the Powerball thing, does it happen like they do the balls and stuff like every
Yeah, I'm glad you asked well, every Saturday, Monday and Wednesday night.
Actually, when we were talking, I was like Googling it and they have like the whole thing where like they have the ball it's rolling around and it comes down like first number is five.
The old school way.
Yeah.
Yeah. But there was like 10 tickets on.
Nobody won yet.
Nobody. Not the jackpot.
Not the jackpot.
Not the few people have won like either five numbers, four numbers, but not the.
not the jack one million dollars in his last one which was Monday night and then I think two won
two million dollars but that one point thing is sitting and it just keeps going up until somebody
just keeps in and resets right now this is like the fourth or fifth largest jack market right now
buddy yeah so my wife my wife just got back from Canada we were talking about it last night
and I was like it might be time to like try to make an investment on this so like go in with like a
thousand you know like why not like you might have to go in responsibly
And she's like, I was looking at it.
And it's like the lump sum, so it's 1.3.
The lump sum is $5.83 million.
But then you get taxed again.
So really your payout is $371.
Well, don't take the left.
No state tax in Tennessee.
Yeah, but it's federal tax.
The federal gets theirs as well.
It's, it is a scam.
The fact that we pay into this
and then they tax on this before you get it.
So that's why, see, I'd rather take the lump sum
and invest it.
I got a good team around me.
You know, you want to take that 30 year payout.
You'll get more money.
But they're holding on to the money.
They're just letting it accrue at their interest.
So I think I can- You know what to do with you.
You're getting a check every month, though.
I'll tell you how far I went.
Is I looked at the levels, it was like 371-1,
is after taxes and everything.
If I put that in a 5% non-tax, I bond,
that's $18.75 million a year.
Yeah.
That you're tax-free.
You're sitting, you're chilling.
But what's more fun than how much you could make
is what would be your first purchase.
That's what I'd like to know from the boys.
We talked about, hey, a golf stream,
buying some property, what will be your first purchase?
Now, you can't tell me about you and Charles, you know, you know, like, you're not going to tell anybody.
Yeah, I think that's the first question is who you're telling if you win the lottery.
I'm not telling nobody, but the person I live with me a secret.
As I live with you.
Talk to the financial team, get our ducks in a row.
But there'll be signs.
You're saying if I win the 1.3.
There'll be signs.
They probably get a jet.
Can you say it was a little more enthusiasm?
Like we're on a show?
Yeah, like what type of jet are we talking out?
Like a barier.
Big, yeah, all right.
There he is.
You got a bed in it.
Okay.
Golf chain?
If that's a big one.
650, ER, 700.
What are we thinking?
That 700.
Sounds like a bigger number.
Give me the bigger one.
Give me the app.
Got the bed in that thing.
Yeah.
A couple of TVs play.
Wi-Fi.
Probably.
Starlink.
Yeah.
Got to have it.
Yeah.
Got to have Starlink.
If I won the lottery,
I would tell nobody, just my wife.
I'd probably fly to my financial team
and have them to end the NBA,
then tell them what happened.
And then I'd probably sell it.
probably sell my house and get a smaller house.
So people are like, oh, something must be up with Taylor.
I think, I don't know if he's doing okay.
And then, but there would be signs.
I would have a gold stream.
Would you tell the boys?
Probably not.
Yeah, I can't.
We would know, though, just see if he.
Oh.
No, well, I would live in the exact same.
I'd be still wearing true classic every day.
You would tell us with that in the hours.
Yeah, definitely.
Because when we were texting about, I'm not telling anybody, I'm like,
yo, that's not my personality at all.
My personality would for sure do something.
I think it'll be at Vegas.
I'm already at Vegas.
I know you. What more can I do in Vegas?
Million on this, million on this.
Buddy, if they were to let me.
If I was doing the lottery, first off, I'm going to wear a mask.
You ain't even going to know it's me when I go on TV to get the check.
I wear a white person mask.
What's a white person mask?
And then he'd get painted up like Drewski did it.
And then I'm not telling anybody.
Obviously, my girl, I live with her.
She's going to know.
and then nobody else
to know. I'm not telling my family members
none because they all going to have their hand out.
But what are you buying, though?
You tell me. Oh, I'm buying a super yacht.
Y'all. And I'll keep it in the Bahamas, and we'll fly
there so nobody will know. You know, you'll never
see it. You'll never see me on it. When I want to go there,
we fly to the Bahamas, we stay on the yacht.
Would you still do the locker room? Of course.
I'm not going to change via Zoom.
Nothing changed but the change.
It's just a super yacht. It's a super yacht.
It's a super yacht.
I'm good with. I just need a super yacht.
If you buy your on island?
No, no, be like, be like this.
I ain't even, nah, I ain't on no Diddy.
I ain't on no Diddy.
He ain't on no Diddy Walker.
He did get off.
So you're on the side then?
I ain't say, I don't know, I don't know, I don't know what happened.
I don't know what took place, you know, maybe, uh,
Jack, no.
We're getting off the rails.
We're getting off the rails.
Hey, but speaking of Jackpot, there is an anytime touchdown jackpot
happened in every is it Thursday with the Fandoz Sportsbook.
Two million dollar jackpot.
You get the correct touchdown winner.
You split the jackpot.
You split the jackpot.
Wait, two million?
Yes, bro.
Whoa.
We hit the million one March Madness.
That's it.
Huh?
There was a million.
Everybody who hits it, they split.
They split the jackpot.
Oh yeah, yeah, yeah.
I remember that.
Who was here?
I was here.
Magnese.
Yeah, McNese.
Yeah, McNeeze.
Yeah, McNeese.
Yeah.
McNeese.
Nate.
Kneesier, we got it locked in.
Yeah, I was here for that, for the live.
NFL week one.
Okay, yeah.
Before we get into it, talk to me about the jitters you have week one of the NFL season.
Man, that's crazy.
Like, playing jitters?
Yeah.
Man, goddamn, yeah.
It's probably the worst week one jitters because you don't know what's going to happen.
You expecting the team to be great, but you know they're shitty and you're going out there.
You got to put the team on your back.
You know, that shit is nerve-wracking.
because you got to show up.
You know what I mean?
Like, me and you, we had to show up.
I love you to me.
Delaney, when you were, but I bet you expectations were different
from when you played for the 49ers versus the Titans.
I know for, you know, playing in Green Bay every year
was kind of Super Bowl or bust.
When you had Aaron Rogers as your quarterback
and you had the pieces we had every year
was like, all right, this is our year.
Especially, you know, winning the Super Bowl in 2010,
my second year, and then just 2011,
15 and 1, you figured the next year
was going to be the next year.
So expectations were always just like, all right, here we go again.
But it was exciting.
It's an exciting time.
I mean, I still get those like the training can't, you know, in August is in the air.
I know we're in September now, but like it's exciting.
I'm happy to be a fan now.
You know, all that anxiety, nerves and whatnot are calm down a little bit.
But yeah, there's something in the air, week one.
I was in fighter flight the entire time.
I mean, there's just the situation.
You're thinking of stuff.
I got to show up this week.
Yeah, it's like, okay, you know, my first.
Yeah, it's like, okay, you know, my first year I was on Peace Squad.
Second year when I made the team, I'm thinking, like, you got to get a tackle.
I got to make a player, you can get cut.
Like when I became the starter, it's like, I got to play at the level to keep my job.
I can't get injured.
If you're injured, you got to play through injury because you never want to be off the field for somebody else to like overtake your spot.
With the Titans, I remember going into week one in 2018.
I was playing both like the Mike and Moe.
They called the Weekside the Moe.
By the kind of both spots the entire week, I was playing.
playing Mo and then on the walk through Saturday before the game coach Ty comes up to me he's like hey
you got to you got to do the mic uh the mic spot this week which the mic is where I did training
campaign I was doing the Mo studying for the Texas the entire time then you flipped the mic so
I was just in fighter flight basically my entire career except for the last few years when I'm kind
of you're just you were playing for fun yeah like when I'm playing of course yeah of course I'm
playing and have fun but I'm just saying like you're just yeah yeah yeah because we have an energy
hey we'll see you week one
Yeah, we're like, hey, we need you back out tomorrow.
Yeah, the couple of years where I got to sit out the fourth preseason, like, you're flying high, you're feeling good, you're, you're like grateful, you're like, oh, fuck, this is awesome.
But, like, all the other years, besides, like, the last couple when I just felt like I was playing with House Money, where it's like, I'm just going to enjoy playing this game since I loved it so much growing up.
But the anxieties and everything and stress that comes with it, that shit is real.
Yeah.
No, it's real.
I'm envies towards like the rookies that are going in the week one because they're just so excited.
Like, when my first year of the Titans, it's like, we end up going to $2 and 14.
But like in camp, I'm like, you know, we could win the Super Bowl.
Like, this is going to be amazing.
I have no idea about the talent level we have or anything.
We go with the first game against Kansas City beat their ass 20.
To 10.
Beatle.
I'm like, yo, we got a fucking squad out here.
And then we don't want another game.
So like, we're not.
But like, as a rookie, when you're playing as a rookie, you're just like,
yo, this is amazing.
Like, I'm playing in the NFL.
Like, you have like an okay game, a bad game.
It's like, or I can work on that.
But like, this is fucking dope.
And everybody on your team's like a great player.
Like, everybody on your team's like a good player.
And then you play against other punch, you're like, yeah, they're pretty fucking good.
When we're having this like small conversation, I'm just thinking about your career.
And like you're at USC where it's like, you guys are to win 10, 11 games every single year.
And then you go to the Packers and it's like you guys are to win your division every single year with Aaron Rogers.
He kind of had a luxury of knowing you're always going to win.
Yeah.
No, I mean, it's, yeah, it's nice having a quarterback.
I learned that, you know, drafted with Aaron as a quarterback.
Like, you just, you take it for granted.
I think the Packers fan base takes that for granted.
It's like going far to Rogers to love.
But ultimately for me, like I didn't even go into the Rams my last year, year 11, I had
Jared Gough who's still playing at a high level, but he wasn't Aaron Rogers and I was like,
wow, I miss Aaron.
Like he's that good and he can get you to the next level.
But yeah, I mean, so much of your success based on the, whether it's tackle, tight-in,
linebacker is based on quarterback playing some of the skill position.
So yeah, I was fortunate in that regard.
I played for, you know, two great, you know,
a great program, great organization,
and we just had great pieces in place
to get us to the next level.
Especially coaching too.
Y'all had a long-time coach
up in Green Bay as well, so that goes a long way.
I remember when your defense was just,
you guys were the topic, obviously you had Aaron Rogers,
but just the topic of conversation because of Leboe
and all the different things that you guys did.
No, Dom Capers.
Capers, my fault.
Yeah, he was the year where you guys played,
it's like the defenses you guys played against each other
and it talked about the schematics of how you guys did
everything under the sun. You're having basically everybody on the line of scrimmage standing up.
Oh, psycho personnel. Yeah, we had like one down line man running around. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. It was,
fun. Beautiful. Let's see to the games. Let's enjoy this. Let's enjoy this moment.
Boys, can we enjoy something real quick before the game start? So I just, you know, I know these might be
banned by the NFL, but I figured I'd, you know, bring some of the boys. These are smelling.
Oh, no. Oh, no. Why you got these?
Don't worry about that.
Don't worry about that.
This is the greatest.
Wake you a.
Hey, cheer in this.
Hey, hell of a year, boys.
Make all of our picks go in our favor.
Drop one.
That one had to know it.
He made that in a while, man.
Yes.
Chiefs charges Brazil.
Yeah.
Chiefs favored by three.
The over under on this game, 46 and a half.
Delaney will start with you.
Oh yeah.
Okay.
Oh, my right one didn't know enough.
I did my left.
I did just, I hit both.
I think I'm blind.
Oh, okay, I see.
Here's the game right here.
Put them in here.
Oh, yeah, I'm gonna get one more.
You should put the water bottle.
Oh, I know, but there wasn't one just.
Then just squeeze it.
Sorry.
Oh, God, hold on, fuck it.
Hit that.
Let's get it track.
Hey, what an addition.
What an addition.
My eyes are still watering.
For those listening right now, just jump on YouTube, hit subscribe.
Before heading out, before heading out when that first defensive series after kickoff will go down, kickoff, yeah, kickoff,
that right there gets me fired up.
All the nerves like go away.
Yeah.
Before every single drive.
Yeah.
Like salt, salt!
Yeah.
Where the trainers come up?
Why ban that though?
That, like, weights us up.
Well, that's what they're banning.
They can't supply it.
They can't supply it.
But we can get it.
Yeah, basically what Clay just did.
That's what's, that's what you know.
You got to bring yourself.
Yeah, you got to bring it yourself.
Team fucking guy.
You might be, you might be out doing a little confidence,
locker room glue guy right now.
You got to bring it yourself.
I hate putting that on you.
That's your division.
I know.
They'd be handing that shit out like candy.
Who's going to be the better linebacker for me and Delaney?
That's all I don't do.
You didn't get it from us.
You didn't get it from us.
brings next week though let's get to be awesome the expectation he's sitting for if he's hitting for

hey it's us the jonas brothers and guess what we have some big news what's the news news news news
created our own podcast called Hey Jonas. We invented a podcast? Well, we didn't invent it. We just
contributed to it. We're the first people to do podcasts. Pretty, yeah, pretty wide range of podcasts.
We're starting a trend. But this one's extra special. So how did we, how do we actually come up with
the name Hey Jonas, guys? I honestly don't remember. I think it was on a call about what we should call it.
Well, we were thinking I'm originally calling it one of the early names of our band before Jonas Brothers.
This is how you guys remember it going down?
Yes.
I have a very different memory of this.
We were talking about a thing, a bit for the podcast,
people could call in and say, hey, Jonas.
And then I wrote down on my little notepad,
Hey Jonas, and offered it up as a potential title for the podcast.
But thanks for remembering that, guys.

Imagine an Olympics where doping is not only legal, but encouraged.
It's the enhanced games.
Some call it grotesque.
Others say it's unleashing human potential.
Either way, the podcast's Superhuman documented it all,
embedded in the games and with the athletes for a full year.
Within probably 10 days, I'd put on 10 pounds.
I was having trouble stopping the muscle growth.

Superior Light Beer.
Chiefs at Chargers are playing in Brazil.
You already went over this.
Kansas City's favorite by three.
Total points in that game is 46 and a half, the landing.
You know what time it is, man.
Don't play with me, bro.
I'm bringing belt to ass all week.
every week, I'm going Chargers Money Line.
Oh.
Whoa, I thought we were, I thought you were going with cheese with that.
No, no, that's what I'm saying.
Ask the Bell.
Chargers Money Line plus 142 on the Fando's Sportsbook.
Can I tell you something?
Yeah.
Last year, every pick you make, you're moving,
you're taking the favorite,
and you're moving the line to make it a little bit better for you,
so you have like minus 300 odds.
Coming out like this.
I don't know if it's the salts or the attitude,
but something strange.
Hey, you know what I'm saying?
I'm all about belt to ass.
I'm telling y'all, this belt to ass this year.
Belt to ass. I'm not playing. All my picks for me are going to be great. I'm just saying.
So you're going to go with the charges? I'm doing charges. And the only reason why I'm going
charges against the Chief is because last year they allowed the fewest points in the NFL under Jesse. Mentor.
And now you got Cleo Mack and Don James coming back leading that defense. They're going to be physical like always, especially under Jim Harbaugh. I know what they're going to bring. Like I said, I coached with them last year. So I'm excited to see what they do.
On offense, you got Ladd, McConkey.
Oh, yeah.
All white team player.
All white team player went nuts last year.
Breakout as a rookie.
We're trying to see this dude step that up this year.
Adding Kenan Allen to help him?
That's big.
Justin Herbert, I mean, y'all know what he can do.
He can run.
He can throw the ball.
The guy's exciting on the field.
Top five?
I've done said this how many times, well?
Yeah, and you've been wrong.
And I beat you.
No, I bet.
We won.
He sat in that chair last year and you go,
what do you know about quarterbacks?
Nothing.
Talking about Shudor Sanders.
Apparently he knows a little something about quarterbacks.
You was right on the Shadur, absolutely.
And I was right on the-
Remember, I was right about the Chargers game, too.
We bet that game.
You might have been right about the Chargers game,
but being a top-five quarterback, you're not like that's...
You so, he's not a top-fired.
Let's not get off topic.
Let's not get off topic.
Come on.
And for the last reason...
Good quarterback.
It's because they do have a top defense, right?
And that defense is going to disrupt,
stop that rhythm of the Chiefs.
If they could do that, it's going to be a game.
And I feel like the Chargers are going to come off the top.
That's why I'm taking the money line.
I respectfully disagree with your opinion.
Now, this is a great AFC West, divisional matchup.
Last two games, last year under Harbaugh, decided by one touchdown or less.
However, the Chargers did not eclipse 100 yards rushing in both of those games.
So what do they do this off season?
They go out, they get Najee Harris.
They get Omari-on.
It's got some great singles, by the way.
You know what I'm saying?
Mr. Fourth of July.
Post-the-July.
Yeah.
Damn.
You can't joke like that.
Why not?
You can't learn from JPP.
You're going to be.
That is true.
That is true.
Yeah, you're right.
Stay away from fireworks, okay?
Be safe.
All right.
But, um, or what were there?
Okay, didn't clips 100 yards, so they go and get them.
But I don't think that's going to be the difference.
I see the shuffled chargers offensive line with Slater out, moving alt over,
Pipkins.
You bring him a Mackay Beckton.
I see Chris Jones or Carlottis, if I can get that name,
that name correct making some type of big play sack forced fumble to separate this game
winning by one possession one score again i take the chiefs start off one and oh oh i love to
break down my both you take you take money line or a spread i'm gonna take we're picking the game
we're picking the spread we're picking the spread we're picking the spring you want to go moneyline
you're trying to get you're trying to get him the new delaney you're trying to get him to be the
Moneyline Delaney on the favorites.
Yeah.
Clay, I love the breakdown by both of you guys.
Phenomenal stuff.
The only thing I have to do is back up with a little bit of data right here.
I mean, week one, Kansas City Chiefs away games,
they're six and O against a spread.
That's what they are.
Internationally, they're three and O against the spread as well.
Chargers, they're 0 and 3 against the spread.
Everything you said, everything you said,
give me the Chiefs cover this game.
Jim Harball is 5 and O against the spread home openers.
I like the Chargers.
their first in points on defense last year, first in the red zone on defense last year,
where I see an issue for Kansas City. He's not having Rishie Rice. He's under suspension right now.
And when you look at their line of scrimmage, they had a lot of problems last year.
Mahomes was sacked the most in his career. And on the left side, they didn't do a whole lot.
You got a, what's his name, Josh Simmons. He was a second rounder that they picked. And then you
have a second year player at the left guard spot. I still see the charges being able to
expose that left side of the line of scrimmage. I see the charge.
Chiefs having problems.
I like the Chargers in this game.
I like the Chargers plus three with the points.
I also think this is a heavy week one NFL,
Underweek.
Oh, I think Underz, you can go almost across the board.
I love everything you said.
Chargers are technically the home team,
but they are playing in Brazil.
Right, right.
They are playing in Brazil.
And I think they lost Joe Tuny as well.
It's not.
Are you, you were talking about the Chargers?
Are you saying Rashon Slater?
No, Rashon Slater.
I'm talking about the Chief.
Well, yeah, exactly.
Yeah, they lost Joe Tony, yeah.
Yeah.
All right.
Onward.
You feel good about that one.
Okay, we'll split.
Split down the middle.
Split down the middle.
I like that.
I like that.
It's going to pull us.
I like it a lot.
All right, I'll go.
I'll do it.
Let's see here.
Sorry, hey, them smelling salt's kind of.
Yeah, yeah.
It's still leaking out of the cock-over here.
And felt it again.
I kind of just stared for a minute.
49ers are at the Seahawks.
The Seahawks are favored by two and a half points.
Total points in that game is 43.
and a half. I think the biggest question mark around the 49ers and why people are down on them is
they didn't do a great job of staying healthy. They lost a couple of defensive linemen. This year they're
healthy. Christian McCaffrey is back. I know they lost Debo Samuel, but I'm a believer in Brock
Purdy, not only on the field, but off the field. I thought it was a little Western commercial
when he was dancing up and down. I can get behind that kind of personality, kind of making
fun of yourself a little bit. I like them going into Seattle. I like them playing against
that stubborn defense. I like them covering that spread. I'm with you.
Taylor.
Oh, me and Clay might be partnering up all week.
So if we look at last year, they split the games.
That was without CMC.
I like the fact we talk about health.
This is the healthiest.
They're going to be all season.
You got Brock.
They paid the man.
He's going to continue to live up to those expectations.
The organization puts all the trust in him.
Kiddle, CMC.
Is Duan Jen explaining?
He's back from, Cap.
I know there's a contract issue.
I used still hurt.
I think he's coming off at ACL.
Is he playing?
I don't want to, I don't want to,
buddy who got shot at,
Pierceaw, am I saying?
No, he's playing.
No, no, no, no.
Oh, I'm talking about the receiver.
Yeah, the receiver.
Ricky Pearson.
Ricky Pearson.
Florida guy.
They're going to expect big things out of him
because you lose Debo Samuel.
But nonetheless, I give the advantage
to the 49ers because they have the superstar
advantage.
It's going to Seattle,
but I see a healthy 49ers team,
hard to beat.
See, I like that you say that,
but you got to remember Seattle
has shut down.
corners and safety last year.
They were ranked probably in the top 10, within the top 10.
You got Reg Wooden, Wallin.
He has 14 pass breakups, three interceptions.
You got Julian Love, 109 tackles, 12 breakups, three interceptions,
two force fumbles.
Those boys is going to be out there trying to compete.
Like you said, they do have a high power offense on the 49ers,
so you got to have a high power defense.
And then you have the longbackers.
I want to say they defense, Seattle defense.
was in the top 10, ranked number five.
So those boys are not playing.
They're coming after those boys.
This is going to be a matchup.
They plan at the 12th man stadium
where you've been there before.
Been there, yeah.
You know what it's like.
I know what it's about.
I'm just saying.
It's going to be a tough atmosphere for those boys.
So I'm going with the Seattle Seahawks.
The dogs at home?
I'm going with the dogs at home.
I feel like you're getting the Legion of Boom era of defense
mixed up with last year's defense.
Last year, Seattle was 27th against the run.
They were 31st.
in third down with 49ers being healthy this year obviously we everybody is aware
of Shanahan's creativity their run game I feel like if they win on first down
that's going to be the key to keep them in manageable down and distance the
continuity across the O line with San Francisco I like San Francisco
Brock Purdy's paid now you got see it you everybody again they're healthy
buy their stock while they're healthy I like the Niners in this I'd also
like to point out one more thing I'm not gonna let one of these shows go by
without mentioning Trent Williams
The good of all goats are the top of the 49ers.
Even if we're not going to talk about the 49ers some weeks,
I just got to mention Trent Williams.
That's our goat.
Yeah.
A couple of, hey, just a couple data points.
Seattle, one and six against a spread
in their last seven home games,
one and six versus the 49ers in their last seven match.
Oh.
With Gino Smith, we got a whole new quarterback.
Who's the quarterback?
Come on now.
Don't play with you.
Sam Donald came from Kevin O'Connell's,
Minnesota Vikings' offense,
that he got his Ph.D. in football with Sean McVeVeigh.
And they got Copenac out there running that offense.
Kubiak,
Coobiac running that offense.
No,
No DK.
Hey, can we get a ticker?
No DK?
Like in post of mispronounced names.
They got Jackson Smith.
They got Jackson Smith, Cooper Cup.
They got Kenneth Walker the third.
I mean, they got some power on that offense now.
I like their offense.
I think, yeah, they're going to establish the run.
It's going to be, I think everything we saw last year from Gino Smith, like throw that
offense out the window.
I think they're going to establish the run, not turn the ball over as you see Sam
Darnold do last year.
and I think it's going to be a new Seattle that just grinds it out.
They had 10 wins last year, but...
Yeah.
And Niners had a shaky defense last year.
The X factor, though,
solid coming back as the D.C. for San Frang.
But I'm telling you, they looking at how...
They're looking at film from last year.
They were in the gun.
They're not going to be in the gun this year
because, like you said,
they got a new offense coordinator.
They're going to be under the center.
That's going to throw the San Francisco 49ers off a little bit.
That's just what I feel.
I also like Sam Donald,
he had a hell of a year for the Minnesota Vikings last year,
but at the end of the year,
he fumbled the back against the...
Lions and then again in the playoffs as well.
Like had two bad games.
True.
Very true.
In his football season.
Still got paid.
It didn't end it because he got paid.
Got paid.
And now he's the starting quarterback.
Yeah.
Yeah.
All good points.
All good points.
Let it out there.
Gino Smith, now with the Raiders, we got the Raiders at New England.
New England's favored two and a half in this game.
The over under is 43 and a half.
Vrabel.
P. Carroll.
New regimes.
I'm going to be honest.
This is a 12 o'clock game.
This isn't to be a Scott Hanson game for me.
Okay, there's gonna be a red zone game.
I'm gonna just tune in to see how Gentie does.
And I wanna get this Trayvion Henderson.
Because these are two coaches, you know, established coaches
who I believe are turning these organizations around.
I still think it's early and it's not only early in the season,
early in their tenure.
They're obviously this being their first game.
But I think what we're gonna see is what Sean Payton did
with the Broncos and what we're seeing Harbaugh do
with the charge.
But for me, I'm away for Scott Hansen to show me these touchdowns.
I know you boys are, you know, loyalists to,
Braves so I'm gonna let you hit on that.
Who you taking? You're taking Scott Hanson?
He's taking Redson?
I didn't give you yet.
But I do like the Patriots.
I think the fact that they're in Foxborough,
they're gonna probably bring all the dogs out,
Grong, who knows?
You know Edelman's gonna be there.
Yeah, Edelman, I know Tom probably can't be there,
but I think there's just gonna be too much fanfare.
They're gonna show up.
Tom gonna be on the Raiders side.
But he also can't call those games.
Yeah, he won't call it.
But is Stevenson starting or Henderson?
Do we know?
They're kind of like a one-two-parties.
Henderson right now is in the depth chart.
But Hendrickson, keep your eye.
When they get the fringe area in the red zone.
He gave me.
He was cooking some fellas out there.
And also they showed a couple joint practice clips.
The kids got it.
He is a dog.
The kids got his stuff going to.
He's a dog.
That's why I chose the Patriots to win the division.
And I'm going ride with you.
I am taking the Patriots as well.
I can't go against Brable.
I just can't.
Straight up.
You want me to go first?
You want to go?
Go ahead.
Because I personally don't know.
I'll tell you what I think.
I think Mike Vrabel is an incredible head coach.
I think what he does the best job of is scouting the other coaches, their tendencies,
and how he can manipulate their weaknesses against them to win the football game.
The issue I see with Mike Vrable and his strengths is he doesn't know what kind of play he's going to get out of Ashton Genti,
what he's going to get out of Colton Miller, or he's going to get at Geno Smith.
But more than anything, Chip Kelly just came back from college.
He was in Philly and there's not a whole lot.
You can't go back to Philly and watch these are his tendencies
because Chip Kelly is known for having a great offensive brain.
So it's kind of like a we'll wait and see.
And based on what they give us is what we'll put out there.
And then Pete Carroll, I mean, you know all about it.
I mean, he won a Super Bowl.
The guy was an absolute stud at USC.
When I look at Chip Kelly, him being in Philly,
before he got drunk with power, they had a hell of an offense.
And then they started to fall apart a little bit than Howard Roseman
end up taking over again. Chip Kelly goes to college, has an incredible season,
wins a national championship with Ohio State. Now he's back with the Raiders as an O.C.
position and the perfect position you should be in with the offense he wants with a running
back. He's going to get him downhill. I see the Raiders cover in this game. I see the Raiders winning
this game. I don't know you didn't say that at first. Also, Will Campbell.
Rookie officer. I'm in fourth overall pick. A lot of people coming out of him about how short
his arms are. He is going to be a, he's going to be a guy that plays 12, 15 years in the league.
you know i don't know if it's a pro ball all pro guy but he's going to be a guy's like holy
shit he's still playing he's a dog though our kids are having kids and he's still in the league
doing doing his thing he is a rookie right now yeah that defensive line if i if i'm the raiders
if i'm pete carroll i'm taking the uh the commodore condor oh max you talk about max
i'm thinking max put him over on that right side of the defense side of the ball and he's a dog
yeah he reminded me of you so well well campbell yeah he ain't even played it down though
Come on.
I'm just, I'm giving it.
Hey, look.
I do.
I catch a lot of flowers this episode.
I like that.
I like Chip Kelly.
I like Chip Kelly and the Gino Smith combination.
Ashton Genty.
Really, it's who's going to show up outside of Max Crosby on the defensive side.
They have backers with the Landon Roberts who will knock your dick in the dirt.
You got Devin White, who's over there.
Is he going to get back to his days of when he was with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers?
But who's going to show up defensive?
for the Raiders, to me that's the question mark.
But as far as offensively,
Pete Carroll, Chip Kelly,
I hate picking against Raids right now
because I feel like they kind of revamped
both sides of the ball with starters,
but who's going to block Max out of Morgan, Moses,
and Will Campbell?
Hell of a first day for those boys.
I like the Raiders.
And outside of Harold Landry,
I like the Raiders to, yeah.
Outside of Harold Landry,
I don't see a lot of pass rush out of the Patriots
from the small sample size that I was able to see.
When we were there,
they do like the youth and the ability
and the potential that is there.
Like cats, you won't walking off the bus,
but yeah, who's gonna.
How are the Raiders scoring?
That's what I know,
because Gino doesn't have DK.
He doesn't have Lockett.
He doesn't have Smith and Gigbaugh.
I know he's got Brock Bowers.
Rob Bowers, Myers.
Oh, they drafted a buddy in the second round
at a TCU.
Cedion.
Nope, white boy again.
Drake.
Jack Bash.
Bash, Bash, yeah, Bash.
But I'm worried about their.
Yeah.
Yeah, they do.
Does he still got some juice in the take?
I think this is a heavy workload for Ashton Genti.
Yeah.
I think you run the ball, you allow the run game to open up the play action pass.
You catch those zones in the middle,
attack them in the middle of the defense.
And you keep moving forward.
It's a fun game.
I think if we're in week four, five, six,
I think Vrabel has enough sample size.
I think Stretch has enough of a sample size
to pick up on tendencies,
and this game goes the other way.
I think it's the not knowing
what they're going to get on the Patriot side.
or on the Raider side, that makes you say, okay, I hear the latest.
You'll see a lot of 12 personnel with Brock Bowers and Michael Mayer.
Oh, yeah, definitely.
Yeah.
You have to.
Those two dudes out there, you gotta see that.
But 12 is not, it's like 12, but it's like having you in the field.
It's like, yeah, you have a tight end.
He's got a tight end number, but he's also.
You got two guys who can catch the, yeah,
you get two receiving type guys.
But they both block though.
They both block their ass off.
I understand.
Like, and I, I don't want to get here to get here.
But with those tight ends, you can show 10 looks.
You can show 11 looks.
You can do all, all type of stuff.
Traditional 12, put one in the backfield.
But look, a quick stat on a Patriots at home.
So opening day home record is 3629.
Overall is 2315 at Jolet Stadium, including 11 and 3 at home on kickoffs, opening kickoffs, right?
Kickoff day, meaning.
Yeah, we're once.
Okay, I just want to make sure you understood that.
And the Raiders have not won at Jolet Stadium since 2002.
How many times they played there?
Who knows?
You can't look that up.
And also,
a lot of steps you're giving is like Bill Belichick and Tom Brady.
I'm going to tell him.
Yeah.
What that mean?
This is Mike Bramble's first year as a head coach.
With the Patriots.
Oh, yeah, with the Patriots.
Oh, yeah, yeah.
No, yeah, he was our head coach.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Mike Brayble know what time it is.
He was there.
All right.
He does know what time it is.
Patriots.
Patriots, Patriots, Patriots,
Bill's, Bill's.
So, Patriots.
Patriots.
I'm getting, I'm getting it.
All right, week one ball.
Week one ball.
We're gonna be slotted.
You're ready for the next one.
You ready for the next one?
Yeah, we.
Go ahead, cop.
Raiders.
Yeah, I'm Raiders.
No, yeah.
Oh, okay, Sunday night football.
You got Ravens and Buffalo.
Buffalo favored by one and a half.
The over under on this game is 50 and a half.
I got the over.
Clay, you want to start this thing off?
You got the over.
I got the under.
All right, listen.
I picked the Baltimore Ravens to win the Super Bowl.
I picked Lamar Jackson to win the MVP, and I think it starts week one.
We all know Josh Allen can, you know, he can score points at will.
He can do whatever he wants.
But I'm going with the better overall roster right here.
And that's the Baltimore Ravens, a better quarterback, the better running back, the better defense.
You looked at their games last year.
They split whatever week it was when they played them during the regular season.
Derek Henry rushes for 200 yards.
You look at the playoff game.
Baltimore turns it over three days.
times. Andrews drops that two-pointer to take him into overtime or to tie it up at least.
Didn't give the ball to Derek Henry enough. I think they absolutely feed him this time
against the middle of the pack run defense that the bills have. I think he runs for another
200. I think the Ravens win this handedly with the handedly. Handedly. Like, you know, two scores,
two scores. Two scores is a lot. I like the Ravens pick. The only thing that makes me nervous about
the Ravens is just how sloppy they can play.
Like, I remember watching that game last year.
Who were they playing the Chiefs in the opener?
Just fall starts, penalties, doing things to shoot themselves in the foot.
They were still in the game.
Oh, buddy, the tight end.
Yeah, Isaiah likely at the very end of the game.
I do like the Ravens.
I also like the under in this game.
I think week one unders are the clearest path to success when you're thinking about
betting on NFL week one.
unders is always the move.
I like where your head's at.
when you look at week one of last year
against Kansas City Chiefs at Kansas City.
At that point, John Harbaugh is trying to figure out
what's you gonna do with Derek Henry?
Because Lamar Jackson, you know, like 75% of his snaps
before Derek Henry was in the shotgun,
you know, having the back off to his right or left.
Derek Henry hates having the shotgun RPO type of rethink.
So they have to figure out a way to,
how do we get into center and get Derek Henry downhill?
Obviously they figured that out last year.
The stat that I have that makes me go for the Ravens
is Lamar Jackson's 12 and 2 against a spread
when he's an underdog. I think that is, I mean, I pick the bills.
What's that? Good stat. Good stat. I like the bill, I like the bills long term. I like the
bills in the Super Bowl. I like the bills winning the Super Bowl. Obviously, they were my
futures pick. I like the Ravens covering here. I'm taking Ravens money line. They're going
win the game. Plain and simple. They fueled off from last year losing to these boys. I just feel
like they got something to prove. There's a lot of clips out there right now. A lot of times, you know,
after the season, oh, last year was last year.
There's a lot of clips coming out of there talking about.
I'm not going to say revenge, but like they want to get their, as Shannon Sharp says,
their retribution.
Yeah, they, oh, yeah.
Yeah, she beat you.
Hey, we're Ravens across the board.
I don't like that.
I don't like it.
Triple A stats never bode well for us.
Makes you want to slip towards the girls a little bit.
But the Ravens is going to be, I think the Ravens are ready this year, man.
I mean, they understand their offense a little bit better for sure with their.
They know how to use them.
And then on the defense, they got 10.
out of 11 key players coming back.
I'm trying to think like this day the fast starter?
They added Jare Alexander.
I know.
Derek.
Yeah.
And this is the number one defense.
Number one defense in the game.
Yeah, number one, I had that number one defense in the game.
Ravens?
Yeah.
Yeah.
They complete.
I like Ravens.
I like under.
Yeah.
I just go back to Rochester, New York when we're sitting there watching Josh Allen, give us,
give us that hands like that and then only miss two passes in the entire practice.
Just so relaxed.
I know.
You're talking about practice?
Be relaxed catching that L.
Baltimore Ravens.
I'm taking the Ravens.
Straight up.
I don't like it.
Monday, Monday night football.
We interrupt this episode to bring you form energy.
Form energy delivers best in class taste with natural flavors and zero sugar.
Form energy has natural caffeine derived from green tea.
Form comes in a variety of flavors.
Your boy is holding the Orange Fury right here.
You got Scream and Freedom.
You got Blue Blitz, Grape Smash, and it's perfect for those who
put in the work. If you're like my boy Clay here, where you're somebody who wakes up in the
morning, gets a workout in, puts in a full day of work and still gives it they're all when they
come home. That's Form Energy. You're a form energy guy. Form Energy, we do the work. Back to this
episode. Hey, it's us to Jonas Brothers. And guess what? We have some big news. What's the news?
Huge news. We created our own podcast called, Hey Jonas. We invented a podcast? Well, we didn't invent it.
We just contributed to it. We're the first people to do podcasts. Pretty, yeah, pretty wide.
range of podcasts throughout there.
But this one's extra special.
So how do we actually come up with a name,
Hey Jonas, guys?
I honestly don't remember.
I think it was on a call about what we should call it.
We were thinking I'm originally calling it
one of the early names of our band
before Jonas Brothers.
This is how you guys remember it going down?
Yes.
I have a very different memory of this.
We were talking about a thing,
a bit for the podcast,
where people could call in and say,
Hey, Jonas.
and then I wrote down on my little notepad, Hey Jonas,
and offered it up as a potential title for the podcast.
But thanks for remembering that, guys.
Listen to Hey Jonas on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts,
or wherever you get your podcast.
Just listen. We don't care where you hear it.
Imagine an Olympics where doping is not only legal but encouraged.
It's the enhanced games.
Some call it grotesque.
Others say it's unleashing human potential.
Either way, the podcast's Superhuman documented it all.
embedded in the games and with the athletes for a full year.
Within probably 10 days, I'd put on 10 pounds.
I was having trouble stopping the muscle growth.

Jacob Kingston grew up in an isolated polygamous sect.
We were God's chosen kingdom on earth.
He felt destined for greatness.

I'm Michelle McPhee,

I've ever come across.
When Jacob met Levant, this went to a billion-dollar fraud.
But with two kings from entirely different worlds,
just how long can their empire survive?
The largest tax investigation in American history.
You need to tell me what you.
you know, is somebody coming after me?
Jacob told Levan, you're ruining my life.

Vikings are at the Bears.
Let's see here.
Minnesota, favorite at minus one and a half.
The total points in the game is 44 and a half points.
A lot of question marks in this game about Caleb Williams and Ben Johnson.
I know a month ago, there's like clips coming out or conversations coming out about Ben Johnson getting mad at Caleb Williams because he's not understanding the play calls.
He's not processing and understanding the game a whole lot.
You think they start to work on it.
You see like the couple press conferences between then and their last preseason game of Ben Johnson saying, yeah, we've kind of dumbed down the playbook a little bit.
We're giving it a little step by step.
Caleb seems to be receptive towards that.
His processes are getting better.
And then you get to this last preseason game.
And Ben Johnson is having a lot of conversation revolving around the first two drives.
how they've been lethargic and they've been plagued by lethargic play on the opposite side of the ball their entire their entire camp go over to the Minnesota side you got a meniscus last year was not you know ended up not playing got it repaired I think that was the long-term best move for him
Kevin O'Connell is on a X's or No's like local Minnesota radio station show giving me a conversation about JJ's processes his routine the meditation how he's picking up the playbook he feels very
about his quarterback with the weapons that he has going into week one.
If I'm just looking at the two press conferences that I watched most recently,
you feel head coach Ben Johnson has a lot of criticism revolving around his leadership capabilities
come from the Detroit Lions.
And you have a proven head coach, Kevin O'Connell,
who seems very calm, very stoic about his quarterback, even though he's a first year starter,
it's his second year in that offense.
For those reasons, I'm going to take Minnesota recover minus one and a half.
See, that's scary me.
You just said the key thing.
It's his second year, but it's still his first year.
No game time experience.
He's going out there.
Obviously, we know they're playing the Bears, but they do got Kevin Byard out there.
No for making interceptions, picking off young guys,
now how to read the offense very well.
That's a tough one, man.
It's a tough one.
So are you going?
Bears Money Line.
Bears Money Line.
Yeah.
I'm loving your eyes.
Yeah.
She's just taking the dogs and going to go away.
Yeah, taking dogs going on.
You're either going to get put out pretty quick or you're going to be.
Nah, you're going to be...
Looking pretty damn good.
The meal getting bags.
I'm telling you, belt to ass, man.
This is company.
This is the new season for Deli Walker.
You got to think about it.
They revamped that old line.
They brought in what?
Joe Toney.
Joe Toney, Drew Delman.
Right?
Dolman.
Yeah.
I mean, that's just to help that run game.
You got Swift back there.
He bawled out last year.
I think he's going to come back
and have even a better year this year.
And he's reconnected with Coach Johnson.
Coach Johnson.
Can I tell you a quick story?
Go ahead.
So this weekend.
we're leaving uh oh hi state texas and as we're walking out we hear a voice in the background
so you guys get kicked out referring to the day port nor not being allowed in the stadium
and we look back we're joking around and this guy walks up there he's like hey ryan pole's nice
to meet you and i'm like talking i don't know the name and will's like hey first off i want to say
it's great to meet you i'm trying to pro who the fuck he's just like one of you guys get kicked
out shaking our hands it's a gym for the bears oh wow he is there watching the game and his
he was lighting up about colston lovely yeah this guy's come in he loves his blocking abilities
his love his catching abilities. So I like where your head's up there. My worry is what's the head
of the snake? It's the quarterback. And I think there's been a lot of disruption between head
coach and quarterback that we've seen in the public eye. I mean, they got a lot of young guys
for the bear. So we're going to see, we're going to see what's going to happen. It comes down
to Caleb Williams. This is his, obviously it's everybody's biggest year, but this is his
biggest year. Generational quarterback. Generational quarterback. Like he's got the roster. You
talked about it. DeAndre Swift. You got DJ Moore, Roma, D.
You got Luther Byrdon that they drafted out of Missouri this year.
You got Colson Loveland and Cole Comet.
They revamped the old line, spent a lot of money to bring in Joe Tune, Drew Dalman and Jonah Jackson.
You got Darnel Wright.
Is he going to be the guy that they drafted out of Tennessee, Braxton Jones at the left tackle?
But they got the guys.
They bring in Grady Jarrett from the Atlanta Falcons, who's good on defense.
You got Kevin Byrd in the back end, Montez Sweat on the other side.
They have the roster.
It's all about Caleb Williams.
and if Ben Johnson and him can get in line
and he can execute the offense
the way Ben Johnson sees it,
whether or not it's dumbed down
from what he was doing in Detroit.
Because when he's in Detroit,
everybody's catching the ball,
the creativity that Ben Johnson has.
It's all there, motions, everything.
But can Caleb Williams retain all of this stuff,
dish the ball out to all these guys
and make the offense effective
and make Ben Johnson's offense work for him?
I like Minnesota.
I think it's valid all the question marks.
what's J.J. McCarthy going to be like.
But Kevin O'Connell, he's proven it.
Doesn't matter who the quarterback is.
They do it year in and year out.
You got Justin Jefferson.
They spent money on the old line as well.
They have a lot of new faces.
But getting Ryan Kelly and Willie Fries out of Indianapolis,
they're going to help offensively.
They live under center.
They're one of the top teams when it comes to play action pass.
And they brought over to compliment Aaron Jones,
Jordan Mason from the 49ers who can run the ball really well.
So I think, again, they're going to live through the run game.
You got play action passes being set up for,
Justin Jefferson. T.J.
Hawkinson is healthy. He's with him this year.
Addison? Yeah, you got Addison.
Addison is suspended right now.
Is he? Yeah, for the car, DUI or domestic.
Six games, although it was three games.
Was it the DUI, right? The DUI, yeah, it was the DUI.
Yeah, he got suspended.
But still, they bring in Adam Thielen back. You still got Jalen Naylor.
Is it Naylor? Yeah.
Jalen Naylor.
Defensively, Flores is one of the best in the game, period.
They're like they're like the only team that have like three guys over seven sacks because all the different packages and everything else.
They got a good linebacker unit.
They got guys up front.
I like Minnesota in this game because to me it's like who's Caleb Williams going to be.
And I think that answer is far to be determined.
Yeah, I'm talking about pressures too.
Jay doesn't feel like he has a whole lot of pressure.
Like you feel like, okay, this should be growing pains with cable's like you got to show us now.
Like get out of the nail salon.
It's time to figure it out who you are.
They went out and got guys for you.
They got the coach for you.
This is the year for Caleb Williams.
And it seems that the coach is not happy.
Boy, just a few short months ago,
I'm in front of millions and millions of fans boldly predicted.
Boldly.
That the Bears still suck.
Okay?
Now, I know this, and this pains me to say it.
But I got the Bears money line here over the Vikings.
Let me tell you why.
All right.
The Vikings take a step back at quarterback.
I know you got Jay-J. McCarthy who does, you know, yeah, he's going into a second year,
but he's got no experience.
It's true, fair, yes.
The Bears defense is real.
Yeah.
Okay. So they're going to give them problems, is what I'm saying.
They also got Justin Jefferson coming off a hamstring.
Is he 100%? I don't know.
Jordan Addison suspended. Like, yeah, Thielen's, you know, but who do they have out there?
Aaron Jones can't carry the load by himself.
I don't see their offense playing really well.
And I tell you what, there's not a team that wins the offseason more than the Chicago Bears.
They don't actually win the offseason, but there's always hike.
there's always hope about it.
But those clips I saw in the preseason,
Ben Johnson's offense, despite, you know,
the quotes that are coming out about, you know,
working with Caleb, that drive they had on whatever it was,
I know it's just preseason,
I know it's just preseason.
But I'm buying the height for week one,
and week one only,
I got the Bears.
Yeah, I know.
Very brave and very bold of you.
Very brave, yes.
Yeah, I see a gritty win by the Vikings.
I like the under two in this case.
Give me the under for all the games.
This is under week.
Underweek.
Underweek.
Big time, especially Chiefs Chargers.
Do not put that on my record.
None of that.
None of that.
The one I love, Vikings.
Yeah, yeah.
Touchdown Parlay?
No, no.
True Classic game is a good friend.
Let's see.
Come on.
My fault.
Every Sunday's got games, but only one fits just right.
This is True Classics game of the week, look good, feel good, play good.
Your boys ripping True Classic.
Taylor's Ripping True Classic.
We'll get the boys in some.
True Classic. Very proud USC. They put up 70 plus over the weekend.
Hey, we have this episode to bring you True Classic. Talk about the Pima shirts.
I'm wearing that bad boy right now. It's got a little curve on the side. Grabs the arms, grab the shoulders.
See this chest right here? I don't got a big chest. But with this shirt on, you might be able to distract you a little bit.
You can...
Hey, it's us to Jonas Brothers. And guess what? We have some big news.
What's the news, name? Huge news. We created our own podcast called, Hey Jonas.
We invented a podcast? Well, we didn't invent it. We just contributed to it.
First people to do podcasts.
Pretty, yeah, pretty wide range of podcasts throughout there.
But this one's extra special.
So how do we actually come up with a name, Hey Jonas, guys?
I honestly don't remember.
I think it was on a call about what we should call it.
Well, we were thinking I'm originally calling it one of the early names of our band before Jonas Brothers.
This is how you guys remember it going down?
Yes.
I have a very different memory of this.
We were talking about a thing, a bit for the podcast.
We'd call in and say, hey Jonas, and then I wrote down on my little notepad,
Hey Jonas, and offered it up as a potential title for the podcast.
But thanks for remembering that, guys.

Just listen. We don't care where you hear it.
Imagine an Olympics where doping is not only legal, but encouraged.
It's the enhanced games.
Some call it grotesque.
Others say it's unleashing human potential.
Either way, the podcast Superhuman documented it all, embedded in the games and with the athletes for a full year.
Within probably 10 days, I'd put on 10 pounds.
I was having trouble stopping the muscle growth.

forward slash busting. Look good, feel good. Let's get back to this episode.
But this week we got the Detroit Lions at the Green Bay Packers.
Jared golfers, Jordan Love.
The Packers are favored at home with two and a half points by two and a half points.
The over under on this game is 47.5.
We got to let the Green Bay legend himself.
Boys, there is 31 other NFL organization fan bases who are envious of the Green Bay Packers
after the recent acquisition of Michael Parsons.
A little birdie was in my ear a couple days before.
Didn't know if this was going to happen, but I loved it.
And when it came true, this is not something they normally do.
This isn't the Green Bay, the draft and developed Green Bay Packers.
I know we talk about bringing in Reggie White, Charles Woodson, now Micah Parsons.
They're showing with bringing in Josh Jacobs.
Who's buddy who had all those interceptions?
Nixon?
No, yep, yeah, Xavier McKinney.
Yeah, McKinney in the back.
And now bringing in Micah, they're all in.
one in five in the NFC North last year is not going to cut it despite making the playoffs.
They are good.
We, I'm going to put me back on the team.
We are trying to get over the hump here.
And does one guy win you the Super Bowl?
No, but I think it brings a certain aura to the team.
I think it shows the locker and what they're about.
So enough about the Packers.
The Lions, on the other hand, losing both coordinators.
I'm not going to say that
I think the Packers are a better team
come week one.
I think they're playing at Green Bay.
I think the atmosphere is going to be electric.
I see the Packers taking this one.
I see him covering over 47.5.
Love the overs.
Over.
That's an over I enjoy as well.
Yeah.
Yeah, but I like the Packers.
I'm with Clay on this one.
Not to mention you bring in Michael Parsons
they're all in on getting after this year.
They need more pass rush, more sacks.
They go out and get it with Parsons,
being on the opposite side of your boy, Roshan Gary.
And then even the acquisition,
the drafting in the first round of Matthew Golden.
I forgot about that.
But Jordan Love, listen, we're healthy right now.
He said 30-something starts.
This is the year for the Green Bay Packers.
You didn't mention the second level,
but Edger and Cooper and Quay Walker,
both absolute dogs.
Who's going to pick up the slack for Jair, Alexander?
You got Nixon on one side.
You got Nate Hobbs, both former teammates of mine.
Nate Hobbs on the other side.
Who's going to step up there with Alexander leaving?
I do like the Packers.
I like the Packers a lot.
They were your boy's Super Bowl pick.
I'm even more proud to say that now that they have Michael Parsons.
Is he even playing?
Yeah, he's playing.
He got an epidural.
He played a game of chess with the Dallas Cowboys is what he did.
I've heard he was hurt.
I think both sides.
I think both sides won that trade.
Who, Dallas?
I think Dallas won that trade.
I think that's yet to be determined.
Right now, we're going to talk about this as a thing.
Yeah, okay.
Yet to be determined because, let's do it.
Let's go.
I like the Packers.
I like the Packers.
I like the lines, money line.
Straight up.
This motherfucker is straight up.
Aidan is coming back.
I'm excited.
You got Davenport.
Man.
Ancelone, Derek Barnes.
They're about to be all over.
light skin like hot on fucking chicken like we be on hot chicken in Nashville yeah I'm
about to tell you right now the question mark I got with the lions and Taylor you can speak to
this too because I know you know the old line inside now but they got new faces man they've
they lost I forget how many guys are your boy Glasgow going to center full time
yeah so they lose Kevin's night alert to the Tennessee tie yeah Frank Ragnow who is one of the best
centers in the entire league he ends up retiring my understanding is he's
He's the heart and soul of that office line.
He's not the most talented guy because you have the Taylor Decker and Penaisewell on both
side.
Great tackles.
They're a top three combo in the entire league, maybe behind the Eagles and hard for me
to say another one than possibly the Eagles.
That is to me the biggest loss for the Lions.
I love Graham Glasgow.
He was obviously very good at guard last year.
He moves in the center.
I know Graham personally by playing with him in Michigan.
He's a very smart, very capable player.
I don't know if he's the, he's going to be verbal as a leader that Frank Ragnow,
possibly was. Frank Ragnow gives me Ben Jones vibes. There was a game we played against the Jets.
Our guard was not playing well. Our left guard. So we pulled the left guard. We put in a different
center and played left guard next to me. Instead of the center making the call, Ben was still
staying up there, pointing left and right, who's the mic, what's the safety rotation, all that.
Frank Ragnall gives me that vibe. So the biggest question, the biggest pain point for me isn't
lions losing their OC. It isn't the lions losing their DC. I think Jared D.F. is a capable
and smart enough quarterback to be very diminished.
about what he likes and does not like,
I think it comes down to the center being gone,
the leadership hole that is now missing with the Lions,
which makes me edge towards the Packers.
That's where I'm at.
Because it's like Glasgow, ceiling not as high as Ragnow,
but he'll be confident enough, like he'll be solid,
but what are your guards going to be like?
That interior is massive,
especially when you're a team that's known for running the football,
run the football.
I mean, but they got the back.
Packers got the run defense too.
They do.
One of the best in the league last year.
We lost Kenny Clark.
Yeah, he lost
Mr.
Yeah, yeah.
Kenny Clark's a dog, too.
I know.
And Michael, not a,
he's not a run stopper.
Definitely not a run stopper.
No.
He's,
I mean,
he's a,
he blows up runs.
He will blow it up.
He also gives up there.
He'll go around and run.
He's got that JJ Watt
where you look at Brian Cushing
and you go,
hey, buddy,
you got to make him right.
Yeah,
because he's going to go,
you know,
B gap, C gap.
Yeah.
Michael Moulon of the A gap.
Yeah.
Michael Parsons has that free rein
to do those types of things.
Yeah, I know.
That's what I'm saying, because he can do what he wants when he on the field.
Let's get to that trade for a second.
Let's get.
Because I think we obviously don't know who the true winner of that trade is until we see
who the picks are and how those picks develop for Dallas.
Jerry Jones, when he sits there and does a press conference of like, who says we can't
go get a pro bowl player now, we are a drafted a developed team, which they are.
Like they have drafted numerous pro bowlers.
They have so much talent on their team every single year.
It's always like a culture or it's like too much distraction within that building that doesn't
allowed them to be successful. But buddy, like, you got a kid, Micah Parsons, who is a generational
talent. He is one of those keys, 25, 26 years old with, like, he hasn't hit his ceiling of what
his potential is. You get Kenny Clark, who's a great runstopper. He's a great leader for the
Packers for a very long time. But you're basically punting on the season, being like,
we're going to be really great down the road. And the Packers are saying, like, hey, we can actually
win now. I think, I think Dallas, right now you look at Dallas, like, you guys have lost that
trade until further notice right now micha parsons when it comes to the back i think that's chess
one of the easiest things to fake in the league is the back you hear from trainers all the time
l5s1 over here i know he's got real issues but other guys like if they're not feeling it they
got well back back because backs can come back clean and they still they still hurt i think when
negotiations started getting personal between jerry jones and michael parsons it's like who what
owner goes up to the player and negotiates the contract then goes to the agent and says hey we got it all
figured out yeah that was a lie crazy
Old school.
That was a crazy.
Man, that was a lie.
And also ridiculous.
Loves a handshake.
You know that was a lie.
You know those owners of shakes, man.
They love to have them.
You know that was a lie.
That dude didn't go up there and greeted nothing.
And then...
He might have.
I think he might have.
You ever heard the negotiation story with Tony Romo?
No.
You should check that out.
Legitimately.
Him and Parcells like had him in a small room.
They were trying to get him to sign this dinner.
And ultimately Romo like postured up, kept his poise and everything else.
And Jerry was like, I respected it out.
and they gave him the contract that Romo had wanted,
but they got the deal done right there when they were sitting like,
Romo said that they were sitting like knee to knee.
It was him, Parcells.
They were trying to get him out of practice, trying to get him to sign.
And it's a cool story.
But I believe that he might have had Parsons one-on-one.
And they agree with it.
When you look at how much the pass-rusher market went up just this off-season,
I think Max was the first one to stop Max Crosby at $39 million.
Miles Garrett, 40.
Not, I'm making, T.J. Watt, 45.
Micah 47. I mean, it went up
$7, $8 million in one
off season, which is unheard of.
So it very well could have been a handshake.
You missed not being in the...
Missed that power ball water is a big.
That's why I'm playing the Powerball.
Yeah, yeah.
But when the Dallas,
when Jerry Jones says
our team got better after that trade,
I fucking threw up in my mouth.
Man, like, I
respectfully, if I were to play
the other side and disagree with you,
We know how important culture is in the locker room.
Dallas was a bottom five defense across the board last year.
It's not like he was so all-world.
And then there's this part of being such a freak
and so good in an organization
to where you have the pod going.
You have all the stuff going to where Micah's kind of transcending
beyond the defense to where he's playing Michael Parsons ball
however he wants to play because he knows he's got the entire city.
He's got everything on his side.
You go to the Packers.
You might have initially,
a little bit more of team playing team defense because you're fitting into a different puzzle you're
around different faces different coaches a different locker room so that's where i find myself saying
like i feel like this was a win for both sides because it could have gotten to a point to where
even players are saying i don't know this that did have hey now we know what we're doing we can move
forward kind of like this was a good thing to happen who knows you can read in between the lines but
to where players are probably like we got to figure out if this dude's even going to be on the field
with us he as great as he is he's going to get you sex and everything else but you still
need to get better in a bunch of other categories, getting two first round picks
to where they have four in the next two years, and you bring a cornerstone or a leadership
culture guy, good player out of a three-time pro bowl with Kenny Clark. That's where, in my
opinion, I feel like they won because you kind of get rid of, hey, this is becoming,
this is getting a little too, this food's getting spoiled over here. We need to get it while
the values where it's at. We can get better down the road, maybe look to the future, but it's
not like you're going to get any worse this year based on the way that they performed
defensively last year. He's either a genius or he backs.
crazy because he got rid of a problem because yeah he do have a podcast and i feel like he think that
podcast is what made him who he is with football is the reason why people do you don't twitter arguing
with that with anybody too yeah so he's got to expect it yeah absolutely you got to respect but then he
goes and tell green bay packer fans one day i'm just going to disappear y'all going to find me in
africa i don't want to hear that as a fan that a player we just bring in we giving them 47 million a
year says, yeah, one day I may just disappear on y'all and be in Africa.
Like, that's crazy.
There's a side of like the individual player, individual player brand building that we all respect
because it's like get whatever you can out of the league because it's going to get everything
it can out of you.
And then there's also the part of us that's also team locker room for the logo, the name
on the front and everything else where it's like, yeah, I can see why, like to me it's like
this is a win for all sides.
Green Bay going to get, trying to go get their championship,
get a high-end, high-level pass rusher,
an icon with Michael Parsons.
And Dallas, let's just, let's turn the page,
let's move on, and let's go try to win some games.
Yeah, it's going to be, we're going to all keep our eyes on this one.
It's going to be a...
Outside of Micah, though, I think this also shows
not only the fan base in the organization,
but Jordan Love especially,
we got to get it done.
Yeah.
I don't know what the playoff record is.
I think it's a little shaky.
obviously had that game against Dallas where he showed out but then you know he's had a couple
interceptions we had the 49ers couple years ago last year you're really injured last year going it
limping into the playoffs yeah but i mean 2010 we had 22 people on i are and a rod made it work so
all i'm saying is they we are we are all in but who's your receivers though you see when you say
awry you got to think about the guys y'all had on offense yeah we did have yeah we did have well i got them
right here for you but hey so
So, Christian Watson is still, I think he's still nursing his ACL, but you got Golden,
who I heard as the best hands on the team route runner.
If Jordan Love can throw it to Tucker Kraft a little bit.
Tucker Kraft.
You know, get him about 1,000 yards this year.
I want to say it was 6, 7, 800 last year.
Romeo Dobbs, Jaden Reed.
Like, they've got a good draft and develop.
Gotta stay healthy.
Got to stay healthy.
Everyone's got to stay healthy.
But I see this has got to be Jordan Love's year.
to most definitely to take it over.
We're all, we're, are we,
met the boys.
You went Lyons, money line, yeah?
Yeah.
Would you go again?
Sorry, we got off on the tag.
I got backers, yeah, okay.
Bet the boys parlay, anytime touchdown here fellas.
Anytime touchdown.
This is our parlay.
We went maybe one for 20 last year.
One for 20, I believe is the correct number.
In the majority until I think Clay came out,
was rocking with us too,
the majority of the parlays were three leg
parlayes. This year we bump it up to four. We look at what we did last year. Let's move it up
another. Let's double down. Can I say one thing? Go ahead. I saw this card and I thought to
myself, we're starting one and a lot. Yeah, it got to be. And it's like no guarantees, right?
No guarantees, but you can't tell me this one doesn't hit. Anytime touchdown player.
Derek Henry, who would have thought? Low hanging fruit, drop in the bucket. Next. Jamar Gibbs. Let's go.
Ashton Genty. All right.
the rookie a touchdown out of the game.
This is your scares me the most.
No, no, he switched it.
I changed it.
Don't change you.
Because you guys are, I love these picks, so I changed my soul.
So originally I had Devante Adams.
I figured.
I didn't hate that.
Hey, hey, we talked to this off season?
He said he was doing all right.
All right.
He said he was doing all right.
But I'm worried, not about Matthew Stafford's health.
None of that.
I just, I worry about the opportunity.
I do think he will get one.
He's out all off season to work on those red zone routes.
He's a veteran.
McVey's going to want to get him the ball.
But I switched over to see him.
see a little safer pick getting him back on the field healthy against the
Seahawks I see that one hitting hey truth be told I got to give a shout out to
my brother here because you know my brother your boy yeah my boy my brother my bro
he's a he hit me with a stat he was in the top 0.03% of fan duel anytime
touchdown betters and when I sent him to Devonda goes I like it but what about
this sent me a list Chase Brown CMC James Connor Nico Collins Drake line and I
said I just give me CMC let's
Let's just make it.
Shout out Brian to B-MAT.
Fando doesn't like it when I say it because, you know, they want your money.
We're all about winning over here, okay?
I'm sorry.
I hate it.
I was going to get a spicy too with Drake London.
Big time red zone threat.
But again, I wanted to go, let's go running back.
I'm running back.
Let's go running back.
It's just more comfortable to go running back.
So what is that now?
What are those odds?
847, plus 847.
You get those for.
Jemir Gibbs, CMC, Ashen, Gentian, Derek Henry, that is plus 847.
the Fandu's sports book when he was going with Devante Adams.
I want to say we were touching around plus 1,200.
Yeah, we was 1,200 at first.
Which I know you love four digits on your parleyes.
Yeah, that's crazy.
Four digits is all away with the parley.
Some say five.
Yeah, we were.
If you do go Adams, it's plus 1282.
If y'all want to take it.
He might as well, but I want to take it.
I love.
Do you want to start week old with a ban?
Is that him as well?
Drake London?
No, no.
Go up to six?
Add Devon.
Add Devonte, Drake, Drake,
Drake,
I'm personally gonna do,
I'm gonna do this one and I might go a little six piece.
Yeah.
Let's just start week one with a bang and do six.
No, no, no, no, let's try and win.
Let's set the tone for the season.
I love what I said that, like, let's go one and O first.
One and everybody got a hot parlay.
They wanna give out?
Oh, damn, no, I didn't cook one up.
I don't have one, yeah, yeah.
I'll wait to everybody, got one.
You want week one to kind of settle.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
You want to feel week one out?
Week two, yeah.
Yeah.
Let's cook up the juicy partway.
I thought we was, I thought we was, I thought we was, cut it back.
Do you have one?
I ain't gonna, I'm gonna wait to everybody else go.
If you got something to say, say it.
No, I'm wait to everybody else go, because I'm a team player.
What do you mean by everybody else go?
Like, we have a parlay?
We all get our juicy parlay and we give it so we know.
Mine'll be on the internet.
Today?
Probably not.
Closer to game time.
I'll post mine's on the internet, then.
Next week, let's do it or let's, let's, let's see what it is.
Since you have viewers, like, just say what it is.
I'm saying like, I don't have mine, but it'd be closer to kickoff.
Oh, okay.
Oh, okay.
Let me pull my...
Got log back in.
You got facial recognition?
Yeah, no, I did...
Got to have the facial recognition.
That little coat it makes you do, too.
Somehow, like, it skips that now.
I think you can check off that.
Really?
Probably a little...
I'm in my settings, then.
So here go a little juicy layup.
You know what I'm saying?
Layup.
A little juicy layup.
Chargers money line.
That's plus 145.
Patriot is minus 2.5.
Coats, minus half.
Ain't that how you said?
0.5?
Half, yeah, sure.
Yeah, might as well just hit a pick him, though.
Like, might as well just do the Colts money line.
But yeah, keep going to go.
Jags minus three point, jags minus three and a half.
I'm trying to get a juicy parlay that's going to hit.
Just listen to me.
And then I'm taking Bears money line.
That's plus 105.
All together, that's plus 33322.
Hang on, hang on.
Three, 33, 23,000?
33, 300 and...
3,300.
3,3, 320.
I think you wrote like, yeah.
One extra digit in there.
It's all good.
Yeah.
Did I?
I said 33.22.
Three of those picks you have?
Put in a rewind.
Put that in post.
Colts favorite by half a point.
Bears money line.
That's right right there.
You ain't fucking with it?

Hey, guys, it's us at the Jonas Brothers. I'm Joe.
I'm Kevin.
And I'm Nick, and guess what?
We created our own podcast called, Hey Jonas.
We invented a podcast?
Well, we didn't invent it.
We just contributed to it.
We're the first people to do podcasts.
We get to ask other people questions because we're sick and tired of being asked questions.
Well, sick and tired is a strong way to put it, but, you know, tired and sick.
Multi-million dollar house, Ferraris and Lamborghinis, private jets, a billion dollar fraud.
But how long can this alliance last?
Tell me what you know.
Is somebody coming after?
me. Listen to Kingdom of Fraud on the I-Heart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your
podcasts. Last night, a blown call changed a game. This morning, the internet lost its mind,
and nobody's telling you exactly what happened. That's where Sports Slice comes in. I'm Timbo,
and every episode, we're cutting through the noise, breaking down the biggest moments in sports
and giving you the real story behind the headline. And we're going straight to the source,
the athletes themselves. Their locker room stories, their reaction,
in the moment and the stuff nobody gets to hear. Listen to SportsSlic on the IHeart radio app,
Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcast. And for more, follow Timbo Slicelife-Life-12
in the TikTok podcast network on TikTok. This is an I-Heart podcast. Guaranteed human.
