Hosted by Will Compton–NFL Vet, creator of Bussin' With the Boys, and proud dad of two. This show isn’t about expert advice and how fatherhood is the greatest thing on earth—it’s about embracing the love and suck of parenthood every day. From balancing work and family to battling the mental load, fears, and the moments that wreck you in the best way, we dive into it all with honesty, vulnerability, and a sense of humor. Cause at the end of the day... us dads have no idea what we're doing. Alongside Will is his producer Sherman Young, a recently new father who’s currently deep in the trenches of Fatherhood and loving every minute of it. Together, they’ll break down everything that can go right and wrong (...usually wrong) when you bring tiny humans into this world. Expect funny parenting stories, laughs, call-ins, advice, weekly themes, and the kind of conversations you’d have over a cold beer in the garage. Whether you’re raising teens or still Googling “how to install a car seat”, For the Dads is the ultimate podcast for dads who are in it, about to be in it, or just trying to do their best while screwing it up along the way. ----- FOLLOW THE BOYS Instagram: / Forthedadspod Twitter: / Forthedadspod Facebook: / Forthedadspod TikTok: / Forthedadspod LISTEN iTunes: http://bit.ly/BWTB_Apple Spotify: http://bit.ly/BWTB_Spotify ----- Drink Olipop - Buy any 2 cans of Olipop in store, and we'll pay you back for one. we take you back to the very first rivalry of the WNBA.
The Comets were the real deal.
I mean, come on.
The Liberty was just tough.
Oh, God.
The New York Liberty versus the Houston Comets.
When we hit the floor, it was hot, heated, fights, elbows, competition, trash talking.
Who is the better team?
People live, but numbers don't.

Scotty's climbing right now.
Scottie's doing a lot of stuff right now.
No, I'm saying she's moving.
up. She's moving up in the world. Oh, we're figuratively climbing right now. Yeah, yeah, she's climbing
the ladder. We'll get into it. Welcome to another episode of For the Dad's. It's your boy, Willie C.
You got Sherman Young. Hey, happy Spooktober. Happy Spooktober. We are embracing the spook. We
embrace the Spook around For the Dads. I hope you guys are too. You guys need to be if you're
about Papa Team Six and you're about Spooktober and you're about For the Dads. We have new merch.
We have new merch. Shirm. Show them that merch. This is the official Papa Team Six where of
Spooktober. You got bears. You got trick-or-treating going on. Show them the little patch in the front,
Shirm. The little patch in the front, it looks beautiful. Hey, let me, let me read the top for you.
Turn around, turn around, do a little spin. Do a little spin. It says trick-or-treat division,
Papa Team 6. Who wouldn't want a shirt like that? BWTB.com. Also, you see For the Dads,
you want Wolf puppies. Go ahead, Shirm. Oh, look at that. It says, for the dads, it's got Papa Wolf.
It's got a baby wolf. I'm not talking into the mic. My apologies.
And then this is one of my favorites of like literally I texted D.
favorite of all time.
The hat will.
Oh, bro.
I know.
Ghost face.
Ghost face, scream face.
It's a little bear if you couldn't tell.
We have a plenty of merch that you can go shop, bwtb.com, embrace the spook with the voice.
Embrace the spook with the dads.
Be a dad and embrace the spook.
Or if you're a mom, if you're an MT6 or out there listening, go embrace the spook.
Dude, I'll say this too as far as our merch goes.
we're a smaller brand
and Deke I'm looking at you right now
because you run the merch division
in all of Bustin with the Boys
Yeah yeah
We're a smaller brand
But my God do we pack a punch
In merchandise
And people embracing the brand
Of For the Dads
So there's a lot of pride
I don't know if anybody else feels it
Around the Shop
But there's a lot of pride
With Old Willie C
When I see the For The Dad's merch
We have a lot of great merch
With Bustin' The Boys
And everything else
So we got collabs up on the site with awesome brands.
Shout up, but light, no free shoutouts to Jack Daniels.
Yeah.
But also, when I see our for the dad stuff and what we hit,
what Deke got cooking up with Alex back at HQ,
there's like pride of like, I bet our audience shows up on Spooktober
better than any other brand that we got going on in the busom world.
That's a shout out to the Papa team sickos because it is crazy.
when we have some merch drop during football season
and Deke will print out the numbers
and it will be number one sellers,
this guy moan his yard.
I'm like,
Papa Team 6 shirt, number one.
Over like some of our football stuff.
Yes.
Even the Husker gear.
Sometimes I'm like, okay, I got to get to,
I got to let the people know.
Maybe they just forgot that we do Nebraska gear.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Huskers, come on, show them.
And then pop in Team 6 is like, hey, moan the...
We're at the top.
Moe in the yard, man.
Being at the top.
For the dads.
Being at the top.
We're not at the top.
But we're hearing the top.
The Intel telling us, we're a top 10 dad pod.
We're a top 10 dad pod according to...
I forget the publishing side.
According to Deke.
We're number one, according to Deke.
According to the numbers Deke pulled, we're a top 10 dad pod.
We're a top 10 dad pod.
And you said the other ones...
the ones that are above us, they've been ripping for like five to ten years.
Yeah.
So the numbers that we pulled in here, most of them have been going for five to ten years.
FDD has been running for about 16 months and we are top ten.
And I'm going to say it out loud.
I've never heard of a single one in front of us.
Maybe that's because I'm not a dad.
No disrespect.
We're not here.
We're not, listen.
Fatherhood, it's, it's, we're inclusive.
Solidarity.
Yeah, yeah.
We all stand together with people ripping dadpods out there.
Tribes of the same community.
Yeah.
But if you are.
watching right now. If you are listening right now, make sure you're subscribing. Make
sure you're following our channels on Spotify, Apple, wherever you can get podcasts. Drop comments.
These are the things that pushes to the forefront of the dad niche in the podcast world.
And also funds that, honestly, the best stat that D-CAD that he told us is, what was it, 58%?
Yeah, 58.2 is a completion. So on our Spotify numbers, that is from Spotify's account,
around 60% of people that start our podcast,
listen in totality,
which is unbelievably high.
Dude,
shout out you guys, bro.
That's cool. That, and like, as far as,
that's them. That's the people we,
we know we're looking at,
but can't see because we're looking at a camera right now.
And when I tell you that that is crazy numbers,
it is,
you only see that type of watch through
with, like, top five podcasts in the world.
Like, you're talking, like, people,
watching your episode all the way through like that, that's really, really cool to see.
I get my piss hot, man. Can I throw one extra shameless plug in there?
Dude, throw a shameless plug. Oh, this is on our site, right? I saw you post a photo last week.
I'm like, we got candles on the site? We got anti-monster candles. And I thought no better way
to ward off the ghouls and the goblins than to get our anti-monster candles going.
You need a light, brother?
And hey, this product right here is how dads have fun.
Yeah.
When you go a little too crazy on the site,
a wife, he's like, why are you spending this amount of money for the dad's merch and Papa Team 6?
And he's like, sweetheart, they got candles.
They got you a candle.
I got you a candle, honey.
We got embraces poop.
Let's light it right now.
Hey, you know when I poop and then you're mad for the next 20 minutes,
and you go, hey, it still smells like your poop?
I got candles.
We got to get to a festivity this weekend.
Have you, have you, did you embrace a story?
spook over the weekend? I did. What is the place that Clump and I were both at? Golly. Lucky lad.
Lucky land. Lucky land. Lucky land. Lucky land. Bro. You got to go there. Is that our guy that is like
super social media prone? No, no, no. That's like the flower guy. Oh, that's the flower guy. That's like
the gardening guy. Okay, okay. I think he's, I don't want to butcher his name. But yeah, that's like,
this is different. This is lucky lad. You're going to go. That's the flower guy. Oh, that's the flower guy. That's like the gardening guy. Okay. Okay. I think he's, I don't want to butcher his name. But yeah, this is lucky lad. You're
gonna go, you know, about 40 minutes.
Oh, actually, you might be close.
It's in my neck of the woods.
Bro, you have to go.
I'm talking petting zoos.
I'm talking slides.
You got, you put the little,
the little sleeve underneath you when you slide down.
What's that thing called?
Yeah, a little sack.
Yeah, they got,
they got like a tractor train ride.
Buddy, I'm about 20 minutes from Lucky Ladd Farms.
Playground, bro, it is.
That's where you want to go.
That's where we were embracing the spook over the weekend.
That's down there in Rutherford County.
That'll be perfect for us to go check it.
You guys will love it.
Pumpkin patch.
Beautiful pumpkins too.
Great photo ops there.
It's a spot if you're in Nashville, like that's a spot you want to go to.
People I'm up saying and they're like, oh yeah, Willie Boy, we've been knowing about this.
And they're saying it.
Yeah, they're saying.
Yeah, they're saying.
We've been a couple times, but yeah.
Where was that where that picture of Scottsilla in the leaves came from?
Where did that?
That was some embracing of spooktober.
So, dad hack, this ain't a secret.
By any means, building leaf piles with your kiddos.
That was at the house.
Oldest dad hack in the book.
Oldest dad hack.
I pulled up yesterday getting home and they're outside.
Roos just scraping up a leaf pile on the concrete, like on the driveway.
I'm like, sweetheart.
We got to move it to the grass.
You want to do it on the grass because you guys want to be able to jump in it.
You jump.
I'm telling you right now, this isn't like a pillow of leaves that you're diving into.
You're going to hit the ground.
Yeah.
Yeah. So I get out the leaf blower. We're brushing stuff over there.
Roo's got her broom out. We're building these, this leaf pile.
Oh my gosh. And then they're playing in it. And dude, it was so funny because the photo with Scotty.
Charles, like, Scotty, like, go ahead. You can lane the leaf pile. And she's like slowly laying down.
She just like lays in there. She's just got like her eyes like staring up. Obviously, I'll get you the photo chef so you can have that up.
But so funny, bro. That's a that act, though, leaf piles.
That was a good one.
For us embracing the spook, I was here doing some haunted house, some haunted house building.
Yes, you were.
I was with neighbor Blake who shout out neighbor Blake, shout out neighbor Blake, shout out neighbor Blake.
I told them we're up for neighbors of the year.
People are saying.
So neighbor Blake, because you came three days in a row on the weekend to build.
Now mind you, if you're if you're just.
follower and listener for the dads, go to the Bustin channel on Instagram so you can check out
this haunted house that we've kind of turned our shop into. I had no clue until this morning
that you, that chef, and that you guys kind of built this entire thing up, but you're telling me
neighbor Blake was here. Neighbor Blake. All three days. All three days. Neighbor Blake was
instrumental in getting all this up. And by the way, everything Sherm described about him when he first
moved in all in all that talk, 100% on the nose.
Like handsome dude, man's man, just kind of do it all.
You tell him you say you're a good looking boy.
I think I did.
I think he truly did.
He was like, you came as advertised.
Shirm was not glazing.
Like, you are the real deal.
He's just a, he's a dude.
Just a good dude.
We celebrated all of this going well with, uh, he was waiting in his driveway.
He had two cold ones.
He had one waiting for him.
And we just, we cracked some cold ones in the driveway together when I got home.
He was stoked on everything.
So we were doing that.
However, we were also putting decor up at the house.
And Scarlett is big on the front yard decor.
We got like the cutesy inflatables.
Yeah, yeah.
Like Hello Kitty with her little Halloween costume on,
a little jack-o-lantern inflatable.
And she just banging those things when we bring her outside.
And we have a new tradition, I guess.
every single night before we go do bedtime routine,
we walk out to the front yard,
and we have to look at all of our spooky decor
and touch the spiders and the spider webs.
That warms my heart.
It's good, dude.
A lot of fun.
We, you know what else.
By the way, you talk about spooktober embracing the spook
and also PT fit.
We had a right-in PT-Fit.
This is Jimmy Carver on Spotify.
I just want to quickly say this one.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Happy Squat-Tober, P-T-Fit.
get under the fucking bar,
get your chili hot,
and go ass to grass
in the world's largest knee bending party,
LFG.
Jimmy Carver is fired up.
Squat tober, spook tober.
That's electric.
What was the way,
get your chili hot?
That's the first time I've heard that.
I love that.
Get your chili hot, man.
You know what got my chili hot,
truly, was the live rep.
That's probably,
the most that I've had people reach out to me
from something that happened in the show
and being like, not only hey, good job on the live rep,
but shoutouts to the team, y'all being there for me.
And they were like, that was some prime.
Willie sees the head coach.
Quarterbacks coming, you know, to the sideline.
He's giving them the play.
This is how I need you to run it.
Coach, you're seen out there. Boy, you got it.
And I went, and they said I went right back onto the field
and dialed it up exactly like Coach drew it up.
PT Sickos, we interrupt this episode to bring you,
our good friends at Olipop.
We love Olipop.

every week. We love engaging with the community, but we are happy to have you back, and so are
these cards. Good to be back. It's, it's, it's, it's, cat was upset. My wonderful wife.
Shout out. She kept being like, you're not even like sad. We're leaving our honeymoon. I'm just
like, I'm excited to get back to the boys, babe. You can only do parts for so long.
Hey, also, I had to explain to her.
what that was when she saw the clip. She's a fan of the show
but she was like, all right, like give me the whole
what's Will talking about? And I'm like, oh, you know Will
CTE. He likes to use
acronyms, breeding until dad said it.
I was very sad
when I realized the cornrows
weren't real. I had
the same, I thought the Willie C.
Cornrose pick was real
for a full year when I was
contracting for you guys.
That blows my mind. I thought you put
your hair in cornrose for a bowl game.
Has your hair ever been that long?
Would be my first question.
Because that was, most people were like...
And you could just see the slinkness on the head next to the cornrows.
It's like their forehead's massive.
I can see it now that I know you and I've seen you in person.
And once I was told it was fake, I was like, oh, damn.
But just seeing it really quick, like I saw Deeks, I was like, no, he did not.
It was just like a couple days before that I had this haircut getting married.
And we posted all these wedding photos.
And then a ton of people were like, dude, it actually looks really good.
Like, good job.
Like, where did the hair come from people?
Yeah.
It makes sense now.
It makes sense now.
Hit the gong.
Yo, I love that we have the gong now.
We can use it for anything.
I was about to say new rule when people write in if they put it hit the gong.
We just hit the gong.
Yeah.
Or they write in.
Maybe you don't agree with what they're saying.
You just hit the gong.
Or maybe you do agree.
And then you celebrate or hit the gong.
And then we might need a cut every time.
whether it's chef whether it's Matt watching when the gong happens it's just an ISO shot on the gong
cam yeah the gong cam yeah oh man let's hit some follow-ups let's hit some pt6 community

You all fire me up about this next chapter.
So locked in.
Getting some pre-fire or getting some girl dad merch because I love what you guys do.
Keep it up, boys.
Go ahead and get the Spooktober merch.
Hit the gong, man.
Paul Thielen said,
Sherman kind of got in his bag
with how he operated live on during air
with the phone call with Jill
10 out of 10 inspiration, bro.
Thank you, Paul.
There's a lot of good comments about the operation
this outfit ran
live on there because that's one you go in
like, hey, if it doesn't go, we cut it out.
If she's calling in it's about something else.
Like we cut it out.
Yeah.
That was a great live.
That's the locker room, man.
That is the locker room.
Just say, hey, boys, you know, I was kind of wheeling and dealing.
Y'all could see that wheels were spinning.
Will he see, hey, hey, hey, hey, tell her you got it.
Tell her, don't worry about it.
Once she heard that, too, I mean, it was the whole pitch and tone of her voice was,
oh, husbands got it.
This is great.
I don't have to stress it anymore.
Let me go back to work and grind.
Yeah.
Got one here from Slim Shady.
on YouTube.
One to four different stores
just to find the caramel
olipop.
Glad I did.
The caramel apple
olive pop.
Glad I did
because the caramel apple
floats went crazy.
Hit the gong.
Carmel apple floats
do go crazy.
They do go crazy.
I'm glad
somebody out there
finally tasted it.
I have a wild connect
by the way
with,
I was keeping a secret
for a while.
because I didn't want to make it like a big deal
because I was honestly worried about pulling some hammies and stuff
but I joined a flag football team,
a co-ed flag football team.
Yeah?
Yes.
We're 0 and 5, I believe.
Oh and 5?
0 and 5.
Yes.
What are we doing?
Hey.
We're figuring it out.
And I think we're having a lot of fun.
Listen, how old are you?
30.
You're 33 years old.
It ain't about having fun and getting a participation trophy.
You're telling me we got a pop a team six outfit out there in Nashville.
And we're 0 and 5.
I'm the oldest by, I'm the oldest by seven years.
So you're the leader.
No.
No.
I'm out there to not pull anything into getting shape.
We got some guys that want to win for sure, though.
But you don't want to win.
You don't care to win.
I do want to win.
I do want to win.
Now, by the way you're sounding, you need to take up my boy here talking about squat tober.
Ask to grass, get your chili hot.
I do.
I do need to get my chili hot.
My chili is cold.
I am happy just being out there and not to hear anything.
I got to start at slot, which I'm very happy about.
They got me playing both ways when they need the numbers.
So you come off the bench?
On defense, yeah.
On defense, I told them I'm not playing both ways.
He hit the con.
You can miss me with starting both ways.
I ain't doing that.
Is this a random team or how did you get connected with her?
Very random.
Jill's co-workers list.
I mean, truly.
Normally when you're 0 and 5 on a flight football team,
it's because it is a bunch of free agents coming together
as opposed to you formed your team.
It is all, it is all free agents.
Jill's coworker who's on the team,
shout out Grace, they needed guys.
And she asked Jill and Jill was like,
Sherman needs an excuse to get out of the house and go have fun.
And he's also been, he wants to get in good shape.
And he loves flag football he did all the time back in Texas.
Like Sherman, you should go do that.
And once I got green light from Wi-Fi,
because it's late on like Thursday nights.
I was like, hell yeah.
So Thursday nights are super fun.
Like, it's a blast.
But our quarterback, Sean,
is the olipop guy that made all of our hats for the show.
Oh, no shit.
Is that not crazy?
That is crazy.
We need him to win some football games.
We do.
We do.
Can make an eye pop out, but not throw a football.
Hey, but watch your mouth.
That's my team.
That's my quarterback.
You know what I'm saying?
Oh, and five.
That's my team.
That's my quarterback, man.
We talk about my quarterback.
Sean's the man, though.
And, yeah, we've been having a lot.
conversations about the
olipop flavors. It's been fun.
Do you have another follow-up?
I do. Cherm is executing that live rep
and it was a thing of beauty.
Calmed wifie down. Let her know.
Daddy got this.
Gave yourself options to handle said problem.
Dan Gable quote.
There's nothing like success.
That comes from PT6J on YouTube.
Shout out PT6J.
And a gong rip for the Dan Gable quote,
if that's okay.
I just that felt but you're 0 and 5
I am Olly Pop Warner
like you need nothing but
Dan Gable quotes on Thursday night
because we've got to pick this shit
No I need Dan Gable quotes
Yeah I need nothing but Dan Gable quotes
I see what he's saying now
You guys said miss her
Miss her
I got one here from Barbie Hayes

Just an idea to help Roo eat her supper.
Here we go.
Start simple.
You said you had meatballs, veggies and rice.
Maybe if she helped make parts of the meal, she would see her accomplish and want to eat it.
They have cutting knives for kids that aren't sharp enough to cut them, but will cut up vegetables.
She could measure out the rice and put in the sauce pan.
She could help form a few meatballs.
They may not turn out round, but those would be the one she could eat because she made them herself.
I know it will take more time to make supper, but it might help her eat.
We ain't got time.
We ain't got time for that.
We ain't got time for that.
Just a random gong hit.
Yeah, I'm with you.
But also, how about eat what's on your plate?
Yeah.
Eat what's on your plate.
Hey, that got some clicks this last week.
I was seeing it get a little traction with the quote graphics.
Shout out the quote graphics.
Hey, shout out.
But it's just, you know, it's the tale as old as time.
It's getting the kiddos to eat.
And I'm just trying to enjoy those moments right now when we're doing,
God, I forget the name of the dish.
But we have like a little pasta dish last night.
And Scarlett's just hounding it.
And I'm like, one of these days, I'm going to, it's, you know,
I'm going to be fighting for my life like Willie C trying to get her to eat or food.
I'm sure you will.
Be strogan off.
They just, they hit a phase.
they hit a phase
were the simple things that they'll eat all the time
whether it's your chicken nuggets
your pasta
or noodles with red
with red sauce because it won't be all the pastas
if it's something they got little green pieces
or little different colors that they're not familiar with
to them they're like I don't like it
well you've never tried it
yeah like I'm telling you it'll be good
if you just take a bite you trust mama and dadda
what you got chef
at risk of throwing myself in fire here
Do your kids, just a question, do your kids like chicken nuggets at all?
Yeah.
Would they like Italian-style breaded chicken nuggets basically?
Same thing.
Would they like chicken nuggets?
Yeah, kind of like, but it's a little variation.
Italian breaded chicken nuggets?
I'm sure that they like.
Yeah.
Okay.
I just want to know.
You're just asking a question.
Well, he's asking you a question of whether or not.
And he's also kind of like, hey, would that help?
Like if someone were to bring Thursday for any reason,
like they had to come by your house.
Oh, no.
I see.
You're trying to come over for some dinner.
You're trying to bring some Italian bread and chicken nuggets over for dinner.
I'm coming for the bell.
Oh, wait, that doesn't sound right.
Answering the bell.
You're coming for the bell.
Yeah, the bell.
You're coming for the belt.
You're in your way.
I'm not saying.
I'm just thrown out there.
Would they enjoy that with like a marinera sauce?
Yes.
If it's a chicken nugget and then there's red sauce to go.
Like absolutely.
Like those are two in the wheelhouse, right?
Yeah.
But if you're wanting to get your kids to eat variety and range,
you got to kind of force them or make them eat other food.
That's like the predicament that we're in.
It's like good food, but it's not the hits.
You know what I mean?
It's not the pasta.
It's not the chicken nuggets.
It's not the mac and cheese.
Things that they will eat no matter what.
Like they see that on their plate.
They're celebrating.
But they see something else,
which is the majority of time, it's, oh.
And it's like, shut up.
Get up on your share.
You're going to eat what's on this plate.
Will, I think, but I think what he's also,
if we want to make this official,
I think he's saying he wants to bring dinner.
I hear what he's saying.
I was the only idea around last night.
Like I was sitting there, I wasn't going to make anything official.
I was going to throw it out.
Hey, would they love like chicken cullets and, you know,
a red sauce.
That for me is easy to do.
I know it's a hit whenever I make it for
all the roommates all the time.
Chef's saying that.
He might be coming over my house for dinner.
I was floating that around my head too
if I wanted you around my kids.
Oh, God.
We're joking.
He's joking.
He's kidding.
They're laughing.
They're letting them have a good time.
These guys love each other.
Of course he'd let him around his kids.
Yeah, of course.
Chef, he's traveling with me.
God, Paul.
I have too much power with
to go with the stick.
Chef's rocking with me this weekend
because we're going to be doing a
for the dad's vlog
or he's with me around
like the morning routine
going into the travel days
like stuff that goes into that
but we will be doing like a personalized
for the dad's vlog
keep an eye out on that
but chef will be staying at my house
on Thursday.
Okay.
Yeah.
Okay.
So maybe some dinner.
Yeah.
I was thinking in my head
I'm like, okay,
well he lives all the way up there
and then I'm like,
Oh, no, he lives in town now.
Yeah.
So he lives a little bit closer.
So he could, in theory, come over after the kids go to sleep.
Should I invite him over then?
Or should I have him partake or participate?
I was thinking about what you were going to do too.
And I was like, I didn't just know.
I can.
I know.
Any kind of fire, I'll walk in with a big smile.
But I don't want to get in you in Charo's way either.
So I was thinking about it.
You wouldn't be getting on a way.
We'd be having you over for dinner.
That'd be awesome.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Is it official?
Him coming over for dinner?
Awesome.
Am I bringing cutlets?
Possibly.
Yeah, let's keep it at a possible.
I actually have very good reason for the possibly, which we can talk about.
Got it, got it, got it, got it.
I too want it to be a very nothing in stone yet.
I wanted to throw it out there and just see where you're at on it.
Yeah.
Kids would love chicken cutlets.
I was thinking about what would they?
And some red sauce.
What would they love?
Yeah.
And if you bring over some cookies for after, I'm telling you, it's a, it's a, you'll get to see a dance party.
Chocolate Chip?
They love chocolate chip.
I have a from scratch chocolate chip recipe.
Scotty would just break off like a little piece of the crust on the edge of any cookie to make her feel like she's getting a cookie.
If it's like cookie after dinner, if you're part of the clean plate club, Rue gets her poor, her small portion.
Scott, you'll just break off a little piece.
Oh, Scott, you get a cookie too?
Yeah.
She runs off and hides in a corner and.
Oh, my gosh.
Well, just let me know.
Just want to throw that.
Maybe you can do bedtime, one of the bedtimes.
Maybe like with Rue, I'll have you read her a book.
We can both sit in there together.
I'll put you in the chair.
Begg, we're going to listen to Uncle Chef.
Brother, yes.
With Rue sitting in your lap,
one million percent, y'all on the ground
and y'all are listening to Uncle Chef.
And I'm guessing I get no say in what book is going to be read.
It's going to be.
Probably it's going to be up to her.
Okay.
It's going to be up to her.
And she might ask for a story to where you'll need to think on your feet
and make up a story.
And she's asking for two bucks with this guy,
maybe even three.
She'll want a story.
She'll telling you right now.
She's a story fiend.
Like last night she finally talked to me
one, Hall of Fame story, by the way.
I put on an absolute clinic to where you could probably write a movie script about it.
Okay, okay.
But gave her a great story because she loves bad guys, but part of me's like, you know,
parents out there know, like, if your kids are like into bad guys or I want something
scary and it's like, I know you do, but then when I tell you this story, if it's scary
or there's bad guys that are kind of terrifying, like you might have nightmares.
Or then you're leaving your room after I leave because now you're scared of the shadows.
Yeah.
Now you're scared of the wolves that might be outside.
And even though I told you that, it was purely imagination.
So you just got to like, there's a fine line toward the one I said last night.
I'll give you just a quick, quick synopsis.
There's a diamond that Taghi wanted to go get for her, for his mom's birthday.
Okay.
This diamond was, you can only find it at giant, what is it?
That Rue came up with.
I was like, what do you want to name the island?
Giant Mountain, Giant Mountain Island.
Okay.
So the diamond is on giant Mount Island.
There was two options for Tyke.
He could either buy this diamond, but Tygey has no money.
And Zui and Princess Roo, they were all figuring out how Tyke could get this diamond for his mom's birthday.
Yeah.
Tygey's like, I don't have any money. So they did some research on their own. They went to the library, was reading some books. And Zui was like, you can go find this diamond on Giant Mount Island. Lion will lend us his boat. So the entire goal is to go get this diamond on giant Mount Island. And so the entire goal is to go get this diamond on giant Mount Island.
giant mountain island. The lure is there's giants on the island, but nobody knows for sure.
Is it myth? Is it real? So lion lends them the boat. They tell their parents are going to go
play outside. They go, they hit the dock. Lions waiting on the boat. Are you guys sure you'll
be able to get there and back? We're sure Princess Roos, she's going to drive the boat.
There's two adversaries, there are two points of adversity in the story. The first one is taking the
boat, all of a sudden a storm comes in, they got to figure out how to still get to the island.
But a little Cardinal bird, you know you want a mentor or a guide in every story.
Cardinal flies over, just get to the rock, it'll block the wind, we'll get you safely to shore.
They get off, they're terrified to go into the jungle now to go find this diamond.
Yep.
But Cardinal says, I haven't seen any giants here.
Like, that's folklore for the mainland.
Yeah, yeah.
Everybody thinks there are, they're not giants, they're guerrillas.
The guerrillas are blocking the caves at the diamonds in.
they have to distract the gorillas.
They throw a stick,
guerrillas run,
they go in the cave.
But now that they got the diamond,
now they got to come out of the cave,
but the gorillas are now back and they're there.
But Princess Rue,
they pack snacks in their backpack.
And Princess Rue had a batch of bananas
to give to the guerrillas
so they ended up nice.
So you get a little,
trust me,
I was set Rue up to where she was like scared.
Like, okay, now they got to,
the gorillas are there,
yada yada.
So whether she's kind of terrified.
But then it's like,
oh, they gave them the bananas,
now they're nice gorillas.
Uh-huh.
Get back.
give the mom the birthday gift.
It was,
that's a clinic.
If you want to talk about
riding the fine line of,
am I going to have to have my daughter
sleep in my bed tonight?
Because I went a little too OD.
Yeah.
And it was boring.
It wasn't scary enough.
You rode the line of the perfect story.
See, that's where I'd be terrified,
is that I would go too far.
And then I got Will looking at me going,
what the fuck, dude?
Like, my kid won't go to bed now because he could.
I would only do it to bust your balls.
I would know,
those pockets. So where I choose to go, there was one where it's like it's a guy with a mask and he's
trying to, he's trying to kill him. And now I'm realizing that I'm getting a little too out there.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Into where I need to reel it in? Because she's going to have a lot of questions after this story.
What were her questions after that one? Why did he have something sharp or a knife? And I'm,
I'm truly trying to talk her completely away from. It's a fake knife. Did I even say knife?
I don't think I said that. It was a butter knife. It's always. It's always.
three characters, Zui, Princess Rue, and Tyke.
Yeah. And in that particular
story, the mass person
kidnapped Tygey and
when Princess,
they were all having a snowball fight
outside.
I love it.
This is a horror film.
And then when Princess Ruins...
Scottie was.
When Princess Rue and Zui went to
find Tygey, they came across his cabin.
smoke coming out of the chimney.
They lean up.
There's a, there's a fireplace inside so you get the orange light.

Coming out of the window and you pick up the window,
Tygey was in a cage and the master's,
man was there like sharpening a sword.
That's so good though.
It's so good though.
And how Princess Rue met these like these wolves that was about to attack him.
But Roo was like kind of like, you know, in Jurassic World with what's his name and blue of the velociraptor?
Press the hand, calming it down.
Princess Rue does a superhero, calms the wolf down.
Good.
Good.
The wolf saves the day on the masked man with the sword and takes down the mass man.
Good.
But all the safe, chef, I've been in those pockets
where you're trying to think and you don't know.
You only know what you know.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Is it a good idea to emulate a story you already know
that they won't know and just change names?
Yes.
And change locations.
Like I've done Lion King.
I've ran some of those playbooks.
I'm thinking like magical princess trapped in a castle
with like an evil witch and the heroes, Taiyi comes in.
And then there's like a big monster.
There's a river monster in the moat they have to get over that.
No one has passed in hundreds of years, you know.
Yes.
You're on the right track.
You're on the right track.
Oh.
Hey, there was this banker who killed his wife.
Well, he didn't actually kill his wife.
So Tyge finally gets out of the clink.
It doesn't know what to do with this life.
So Taggi hangs himself.
I hate to say that.
But before he did it, he carved in.
Tagie was here in the Raptor.
The things you got to think about are the interaction.
between the bad guy and the hero,
whoever's the hero in your story.
Those are the only details
because if you don't have a plane going in,
you'll lean on things that only it's like violence
or defeats them or punching.
You need something like where like the witch is only the witch
because of like she doesn't have any love in her heart
because something happened.
And the key to getting back was to learn to love that person again.
Yes.
He teach a lesson at the end of the day.
And the third character,
not Princess Rear or Taigi,
what's the-
Zooie. And what is Zooey? Is it an animal?
Zooey, like, if I saw, say I go into a story. The same way, chef, and I'm sitting here,
here's how you game plan ahead of time. So for any of the dads or parents out there,
going through a phase like this. When I get to a spot, it's like the island.
I didn't know. Rue wanted me to read her a story. I thought already about the ending.
I'll have two spots of like friction to try and get to this diamond because I don't want to go
full bad guy or full something scary. So the bananas, given the bananas, the grills were nice.
they just don't know humans so they were fearful
but then they realized that they're your friends.
Yeah. And then the other one was just the storm.
Are they going to make it through? And then the Cardinal comes
and tells them to drive over here.
But when I get to whatever the island's called,
I didn't come up with that part ahead of time.
Those things I allow Rue to name.
So if there's three friends, like she made up Zui.
I'm like, what do you want the third friend to be?
There's Tygey because she has her little Tygey.
It's Tygey and Princess Rue.
But who's the third friend of the story?
What do you want her name to be?
and she's like Zui.
And then if like,
if I'm describing details,
like on Princess Rue,
I'll know the color,
some of Rue's favorite colors.
Yeah,
with Tyke,
it's orange,
it's black,
it's stuff that like,
Tygey,
he's a tiger.
Yeah.
With Zui,
I'll just be like,
what's Zui's favorite color?
And so then she'll give me a color
and then I'll intertwine that
into the detail.
So that way,
Rue's making up the story as well.
Like the island,
hey,
what do you want to call the island?
She's like,
giant mountain.
And I was like,
giant mountain island.
That's what it's called.
Yeah.
And then you just, that's how you introduce it in the story.
Yeah.
You have them make stuff up.
What's the redeeming quality of the axe murderer?
Because like the guerrillas, they find out they're their friends and all this stuff.
Where was that one?
That was one where I went into, she wanted a story.
I just, I wasn't thinking.
So I was like, I'm going to come up with something.
They're playing outside.
You got three friends.
You introduce the scene.
They're all hanging out the house.
They're going to have a weekend together.
They're all playing outside a snowball fight.
And they're all kind of hiding from each other.
And then all of a sudden, a masked man walks up behind Tygey looks up.
And by the time he looks up, he puts a mask or his head and drags him out.
Dyes his hands and legs and drags him to the cabin.
Hey, good, Stranger Danger.
Introduction to Stranger Danger.
Yeah, yes.
Good dad.
Yes.
Good dad.
That was the only way they got him back was they ate a full plate of food.
Yeah, there you go.
that's all they were.
That was the ransom.
You can't get out of the cage
until you eat your meatballs
that your mom made for you.
Oh man, Tygey.
It's like I knew going into that one.
I was going to have
I don't even know.
I don't even know.
I don't even know how to talk around that one.
But the whole bad guy thing
it was distract from somebody
who's very scary.
Yeah, yeah.
And then we'll get him up out of there.
Yeah.
And I just lost.
I don't.
This is experience from a dad
who lost his way in the middle of story time.
Yeah. You were waxing poetic.
Hero's journey. You have the mentor.
It was perfect.
The one was a horror film.
I told her a slasher.
I gave her a slasher. We are embraces
Spookover. Sue me. It spooked over.
I'm a good dad.
Oh my gosh.
I don't even know where we go from here.
Dad losses. I mean, that kind of
is a nice little segue.
A big month, Charo
is going all in on costumes.
Rue loves where the wild things are.
We've seen the movie.
It's a dog shit film.
Don't watch it.
The book, you read the whole where the wild things are.
We read that a lot.
Oh, oh, got it.
Like the live action.
Yes, yes.
You'll watch it and you're wasting our time right here.
Okay.
It's kind of one of those ones where you're like, ew, like they did that.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
But Charles making us all where the wild things are like characters.
And she's like, she's doing the,
costumes or stuff like paper moucher,
masks, like she's going all in.
That's what she says.
No.
To bring everyone back.
You were very upset for which emotion you got.
You were fear, I believe.
Yeah, it was fear.
And you crushed the execution.
You crush the execution.
Get Maddie O. to throw that bit.
Oh, man.
Oh, but yeah, dad losses, man.
Charles is in her bag with that.
She's, yeah, look, it hasn't been done yet.
Yeah.
She knows she's got to put a lot of time into it, but she's like, I want, I'm trying to go all in.
Dude, I do, I actually do kind of have a dad loss for that.
Just segueing into the Halloween and dad losses.
We have a wedding in Chicago that Jill and I are very excited for.
We're not upset that we're going to this wedding, but it's on Halloween night.
What?
I know.
Is it themed?
Is it themed? Because I went to one and it wasn't and I was pissed off.
The way you're missing out.
Fully agreed. But if they're really cool people and they make it a Halloween wedding,
I at least feel like you went to something on Halloween.
The people we went to is just a normal, stupid wedding.
Yeah, you're saying at least you're aware that you're making everybody come to your wedding on a holiday.
Deke, the vibes of this couple are very fun and very cool.
and I'm hearing rumors
and of stuff at the reception
that would be Halloween theme.
I'm hearing rumors.
Jill and I aren't,
what we're sad about
is exactly what Will was saying.
The trick-or-treating was Scarlet.
However,
getting her in the costume.
But Mama Lisa is,
Gammy is coming to town
and she's going to be watching Scarlet
at the house.
They will be trick-or-treating.
That's fine.
They're going to go.
have a great time having that one-on-one time.
She'll love it.
But just as parents and you got one-year-old,
you got one-year-old scar-scars.
And she's just now walking.
Yeah, getting to put her in an adorable costume.
Yes.
So a dad lost, but with silver lining.
You're finding the silver lining.
We're finding the silver line.
You have to.
Yeah, you have to, you do.
We got a couple bad dad-loss write-ins here.
I got a really bad one.
I'm going to start here with Gary Smith.
He's sending it via email.
601 the dads at gmail.com.
What's up boys? Gary here from Kent, Ohio.
Day one, sicko.
Boys, I got myself in a situation.
I have a nine-year-old boy, Caleb, and a four-year-old boy crew.
I love the boy dad life and raising young men.
But as you could guess, sometimes things get a little wild around the house.
Dad may have slid in a deez nuts joke with the older boy, Caleb.
Caleb is nine.
Okay.
Some might say it's a little soon with him only being.
nine. But if you were there, some might say it was the perfect opportunity for a D's nuts joke.
Either way, I got my full circle moment because about a week later, Mom gets a call from the
principal. Oh. Thank the Lord, he is a friend of mine. And we coach a little league baseball together.
Either way, here I am sitting at work thinking my lady is calling me to say she loves me or asks me
what I want for dinner.
Buddy, I was wrong.
Your boy got a 10-minute lecture
of why I'm a dumbass.
Oh, perfect. Good.
Long story short,
ended up getting home,
tail-tucked between my legs
as I opened the door,
fearing for my safety
and my oldest boy's safety,
end up getting the,
you're a dumb-ass look
when I walk in.
You boys know what I'm talking about.
And another five-minute lecture
in the bedroom later that night.
Oh, tease and peas to my boy, Gary.
Buddy.
As I'm cooking dinner that night, it took everything I had of me not to ask Caleb what set up was used for the D's nuts joke.
Yeah.
If I don't comment on next week's so, send help.
Sicko out.
What I was about to say, I mean, we got to know what the execution was.
Yeah, because if you're standing there with Caleb and you're like, hey, buddy, listen, you can't do that again.
But also, how'd you set it up?
Like what?
Had you set it up clean?
Like, did you ask him?
or did you tell them you saw their friend Philip?
Maybe they were like, who's Philip or, you know, something like that?
Like, hey, who's the great linebacker number 52 for the 49ers?
Patrick?
Did you hit him with that?
Yeah.
Or what's that new film that just came out?
It's like the big epic.
You'll have to read it for summer reading in high school.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Did you ask him, do you know anything about tapes and CDs?
Maybe.
Maybe.
Hey, but also stop talking about.
But don't do that.
You can't do that.
This one comes from Jordan Skaden.
Before I read this, I just want to issue a blanket apology.
Blanket apology goes out from me.
And now I will read this dad loss.
Okay.
Fellas, hope you all are absolutely ripping.
I've been suffering from a dad loss for the past few months.
It wasn't sure whether to blame it on the pod or myself.
The week may have been two weeks before Mother's Day.
My wife was out of town for work.
Must be nice.
So as any great dad, he wrote that.
So as any great dad would do, I took it upon myself to drive my twin three-year-old boys to school.
It's a Wednesday at 8 a.m.
So you already know I have the pot on.
It's blasting because I don't want to hear those feral hogs in the backseat.
All of a sudden, I hear on the pod, oh my fucking God, not to name names, but it may have rhymed with Herman.
I thought to myself, oh shit, we're eight minutes out from six.
school and the pod is dropping F-bombs.
I look in the rearview mirror and
it appears the boys don't hear it.
And then an oh my
fucking God is dropped
not once, but two more
times. Oh no.
I immediately turn it off
and say, all right boys, time to listen to
music. 15 seconds later, I hear
from the back, oh my fucking God.
Oh my fucking God. On repeat.
Oh, no.
Side note,
at least he didn't say
OMFG, we don't say
Oh my God
in the house. Oh, so he was just saying
Oh my fucking, oh my fucking is what
he was saying. Oh, that's good. Okay,
okay. Don't want to use the Lord's name. Yeah, don't use
the Lord's name in vain. So at least he
wasn't saying OMFG because we
don't say, oh my God, in the
house, so that's a win. I correct
them and say we absolutely do
not repeat that. Show up to
the carpool line. Teacher gets
them out of the car and I say so
sorry if they drop the F bomb today.
I was listening to a podcast and thought it was family friendly, but apparently I stand corrected.
They have been on me for not taking into account the name of the pod is for the dads.
Anyways, I told my wife, that ain't on me.
P.S.
My wife is 10 weeks pregnant.
And I told her we absolutely need a girl.
Twin boys are no joke.
Told her the statistical research the pod is done and that we need to look at each other when we are approaching the top of the hill climb on the shockwave.
Boys, I'm here to report is a scientific fact that we are having a girl.
Let's fucking go.
He used the F word there.
I just want to say he dropped a lot of F bombs in the whole reading.
But he specifically used it right there.
He spelled it out.
Yeah.
And keep doing what we're doing.
It's working.
Jordan Skaden, Charlotte, North Carolina.
That's tough.
I don't know if we've ever said this is kids friendly.
I don't know if we've ever said that.
I believe we have an explicit.
next to us on Spotify.
And also we might say often this is a kid show.
Jokingly.
When we do curse.
When we did show, kid show, kid show.
Yeah.
Kid show.
Or like when we hit the gong.
Yeah.
Maybe we'll just have to do that.
Like, oh my.
I can't say the G one either because they don't say that in their house.
I know.
Oh my.
My, my.
Dude, what the?
My fantasy league has a,
a swear jar for our group chat.
I'm sure it does because you're 0 and 5.
You guys ain't cussing enough out there.
No, different.
No, my fantasy league.
Yeah, my flag football.
You know, I'm sorry.
Y'all need to be cussing way more.
You'll do it.
That is good, though.
I will bring up to the team.
We do need to cuss more.
Yeah, yeah, I got a cuss jar here.
And I got some chis chis.
I got to
Grace, put that in your lip.
We're going to win a football game tonight.
They called back to Grace.
That was great.
Let's go, man.
We locked in.
I got a dad hack here from Corey Neset on Spotify.
Dad hack can't take credit for it.
But saw someone online say,
oh, this is embracing the spook right here.
Tell their children that the ice cream truck plays music
when they are out of ice cream.
Read that one more time.
Well, I'm so sorry.
Can't take credit for this,
but saw someone online say that they tell their children
that the ice cream truck plays music
when they are out of ice cream.
Oh, you don't want your kid out.
You see, see, here comes the ice cream machine.
Let's go get ice cream.
Oh, music.
That means they're out of ice cream.
Dang it.
And they can't kidnap you.
Yeah, and they can't kidnap you.
We have Mr. Joe,
here.
Mr. Joe Jee, Will will not be a fan of this dad hack.
Oh, no.
But I could stand corrected.
Hey, boys, PT-6 are here of three girls.
My seven-year-old is a picky phase, is in picky phase as well.
But my dad hack is that you can eat what is cooked for dinner or you can have a PB&J.
That is always an option in our house.
The kids don't have to like everything, but they always have an option to ensure they are eating some protein.
hope this helps boys dinner much easier now.
Oh, so we do like it.
I don't mind it.
Okay, we don't mind it.
Some people believe in, hey, you should get some type of food.
Some believe that you're not going to starve.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
And if you are starving, you had your opportunity to figure it out at dinner.
So it's PBNJ for this, which now that I'm reading that and I'm thinking, I'm like,
I think I did have a PB and J back in the day.
like if I didn't like dinner.
Bro, you're going to get a PB and J?
Yeah.
Oh, I don't like what mom made the night.
Oh, I don't like what's on the dinner table.
I'll take a PB and J.
Yes.
I think I did do that.
And now I'm,
I'm own five now.
I was going to say share your flight football record.
I'm only five now.
So,
BVJs, you want to go own five.
You want to eat what you should be doing.
You should eat your dinner.
And then you should eat a PB and J.
and drink a big old fat glass of milk
before you go to bed.
Bro, my high school coach
and tell me,
had pound three peanut butter sandwiches at night
before bed with a glass of milk.
That's what's just put on weight
and just start stacking.
That's what our football coaches said to.
They're like,
it right after dinner, too.
That's dessert.
Yeah.
That's dessert, man.
You just ate some BBJs.
And they would pull dads after practice too
and tell them,
hey, get some PBJs in them before he goes a bit.
Yeah, yeah.
Let's get that weight up on.
bonus ad hack, changing on the ground,
changing tables out.
Scarlett's like officially changing table done.
So we've just been putting her on the ground
and doing changing there.
For anyone at home that's struggling
with getting their kids change.
Just put them on the ground.
Yeah, you just do it on the floor of their room.
And for some reason...
You got to change them.
Yeah, you got to change it.
For some reason, she loves it on the floor
instead of the changing table.
but the low back issues getting on the ground.
Yeah.
You're giving a dad hack like here's how you uplift quality of life.
It has for me.
It has for me.
Because it's either five for five minutes or get it done in one and I'm out.
Oh and five.
Oh, and five.
I like how that's just.
But I also, I am O in five.
We'll be on a call, like an actual business call.
And I pitch an idea and it's guys,
I just want y'all to know Sherman's black football team is 0 and 5.
If y'all are not crazy about that idea, we don't have to run with that.
Trust me.
They're struggling right now.
Oh, my gosh.
Cracker cold one?
Yes.
Crack a cold one brought to us by olipop, but specifically caramel apple olipop.
Go get that in the fridge.
Go make you a caramel apple olipop float.
My crack a call one is Scotty.
Elevating in the world.
I alluded to it at the top of the episode.
But Scotty is now swimming with just the teacher at her swim lessons.
Not with mama.
Not with any of us that go.
Oh my gosh.
To the swim lesson with her.
But now she is solo with the teacher.
So she's bumped up.
They're like, hey, we can raise her up a notch.
I think she can swim with the big boys.
Okay.
Like still have her being held.
Yeah.
I'm sorry I ask this all the time.
How old is Scotty?
Scotty is going to be two in November.
That's big, right?
Yeah.
Like for being able to do solo swim before two?
Yeah, she's with the teacher.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
She's not like swimming on her.
Yeah, guiding her.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
I think that's huge.
She's a little stud.
Yeah.
Scotty's a little stud.
She's a little menace.
Is that the athlete?
Are we thinking?
I don't know.
I don't know.
Like Roo, Roo, Roo's got a lot of good ability.
Rew can swim too.
Yeah, Roo can.
Now that I think about it.
Yeah, Roo can swim.
You saw it was clump.
It saw her dive down for that.
That story I told a few episodes back.
Yeah.
Roo can swim.
Even six months ago and you're introducing the torpedo tour and stuff,
just in your backyard pool.
Yeah.
Girl can swim.
Yeah, I don't know who's going to be the athlete yet.
Somebody will show themselves.
Maybe both.
Who knows?
Yeah, I was about to say.
Maybe both.
Some are saying.
But yeah, that's my, that's my crack-cull one.
And by the way, just to let my wife know, Scotty's birthday is November 12th.
Good.
Good.
I think.
Hang on.
July 3rd is Scarlet's.
Oh, shit.
Oh, no.
I believe it's 12th.
This might be like, we have to cut this.
Chef, final.
I don't know.
I don't think it's a joke.
I can leave this one.
I told the seizure story before and said, well, I said, I alluded to it, I think on last
week's pod, didn't I?
Yeah, you did.
And kind of recap that whole thing again.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
I want to say you asked about what age she was.
And I was like saying like close to two, I think I've done that exact same
thing earlier.
Really early in the pod.
Deja vu, but
Rue was eight months old when the seizure took place.
Not two years old.
So again, my wife, she was correct in the APR report.
And I'm sitting there and I'm like, I think I did the exact same thing and also
I had to correct myself the next week.
That's what happens, fellas.
I do want to-
November 12th.
November 12th.
Yes.
Okay.
Yes, sir.
And I want to lock in final answer to Regis, July 3rd, is Scarlet's birthday.
Just to lock that in.
Just to let our wives know, we are on top of the birthdays.
We're on top of the birthdays.
I have a holiday to help me, though.
It makes it kind of easy.
My role, Texas is Roos 432, so 43, 2022.
And Scotty's is 1112.
Oh, that is nice.
1112. 1112.
And I have happy birthday, Will, happy birthday, Jill.
But flip that.
Yeah, yeah, understood.
My crack a cold one.
I got my first kiss from Scarlet.
I got my first kiss from Scarlet.
How'd that feel? Unreal.
I actually, and this is not for the cameras,
I teared up because it was awesome.
Like I tried to kiss her on the cheek and stuff,
and she's in pull-away phase,
like big time with mom and dad,
like trying to give her extra cuddles.
Because she's like, I can walk now.
I'm a big girl.
I don't need anybody touching me.
And let me do it.
and we're sitting at dinner
and she loves dinner.
She's a big eater right now.
Thank God.
Knock on wood.
And she loves talking to us at dinner too.
Like she's showing us her food and like,
you know,
and then,
yeah,
that's right,
honey,
blah,
blah,
eat it.
And then,
you know,
well,
whenever she does take bites,
we always go like,
goodbye.
And so now whenever she takes a bite,
she just starts going like that,
like good bite,
good bite.
But,
mid-dinner, she looks over at me and she goes,
hmm, which she rarely does the hold me or pick me up to me,
especially during dinner.
And so I go, oh, what do you want food-wise, Scarlet?
Because sometimes she likes stuff off dad's plate.
And she just goes,
mm-hmm.
I'm like, oh.
So I close my eyes and go,
mm-hmm.
And then open my eyes to see if that's what she was wanting.
And she kept leaning forward.
And going, I gave her a little kiss on the nose.
I love that.
It was wild, dude.
When was this?
Saturday, this Saturday?
First win?
That was after Thursday night.
You think it's like a sympathy kiss?
But I'm saying,
O and five?
Sympathy kiss,
but we got a game this Thursday.
Yeah, we got a game this Thursday.
So it could be the first win.
It could be the good luck charm that we did.
Maybe she doesn't know your own five.
Maybe you want to have got the kiss.
I think she can tell body language wise.
That was a little down.
Yeah, she sees me around the house a little bit and it's like,
I don't have tape to watch.
Work in the door frames a little bit.
Gotta get our first win though.
We really do.
We got to figure something out there.
You guys talk about it as a team.
Like you bring up the O and 5.
Are you guys all like, oh, we should just get a beer and hang out after?
Like, what's them around vibes of the team?
You know they don't bring it up.
Come on.
You heard the way that they were talking about having fun.
team under the bus. He doesn't know them. I'm not going to throw my team
under the bus, but I will say this. There's a lot of
going, it's a lot of young energy in singles wanting to meet
singles. I'm the only married guy on the team. I'm the oldest
by like seven years. It's a, it's a
have fun vibe, but there were arm bands with plays on them
for like the first couple weeks,
which I've played in flag teams. I've,
I've never, ever done that before.
And we did have wins on those other flag teams.
They were, you know, I'm, I'm there.
I'm just happy.
I'm not pulling anything.
I'm having a lot of fun doing it.
So your team's worried about chasing tail more than they are catching downs.
Worried about chasing tail, maybe making a little too complicated on offense with calling plays between each thing.
Like everybody else in the league does not have play call sheets.
Oh, wait, you guys are the only ones.
wristbands in your own five?
Yeah.
Oh, that's brutal.
It could not be a correlation.
Because, you know, you got a lot of girls that,
nothing against our ladies on our teams,
but they didn't grow up playing football.
So if you're going like, hey, stick,
you know, hitch, blah, blah, blah,
they're looking like, and looking at.

To these days
How are you going to get to us?
Well there's a
a specific reason why you should listen to us.
We are the best podcast in the entire world, I swear.
I know, bold.
But why don't we list some of the things we might talk about on a regular episode?
So sometimes we'll talk about, I don't know, the Uber driver we just had.
And how nice they were, or if we tipped them or not, come and find out.
Sometimes we'll talk about that weird news story from last week.
It's the one you're thinking about, trust me.
Or maybe we'll talk about music and what's happening in the underground or drama in music or TV.
shows or the Met Gala and what the actors wore.
What we're saying is we're not afraid to talk about everything under the sun.
And if you want to see what that's like, come join us.
It's a place where everyone can hang out, anyone.

The new NFL season is here, and you should be listening to NFL Daily as we march along
to Super Bowl 61.
Last year, we had Mike McDonald,
Sam Darnold on the field after the game.
But that was last year.
If you're a football sicko like me,
NFL Daily is your kind of show.
It is in the name.
NFL Daily, fresh content in your feed
every day all season long.
Matthew Stafford coming off his MVP season.
On a dazzling darts from Matthew Stafford.
Big time trades that shake up the NFL.
H.A. Brown is losing.
And of course, those Seahawks trying to run it back and win another Lombardi trophy.
The Seahawks win Super Bowl 60.
They are bringing the Lombardi back to the Northwest.
If it's happening on a football field, NFL Daily will cover it.
Listen to NFL Daily on the Iheart radio app, Apple Podcast, or wherever you get your podcast.
The World Cup is over.
But if you caught the soccer bug and aren't sure what to do now, check out our podcast, Big Kick Energy.
Cameron Dicker, the kicker from the Los Angeles Chargers, most accurate kicker in NFL history,
but I was raised on the soccer pitches of Shanghai. And I'm here with Timmy Tillman, L-AFC star,

So, we know a little something about kicking balls. Maybe you're new to the game,
or you're ready to take your passion to the next level. Each week we'll tackle things like
who's winning the Premier League this year. Playing like a number 10. Do you know what that means?
Then we go over to France.
Ligoon.
Ligon.
Liga.
He knows more.
He's better than me.
What do you think is harder?
Scoring a penalty kick or scoring a field goal?
He's in the NFL and I'm like just a big fact guy.
I do enough.
That's crazy.
Join us each week for a quick chat with your soccer-loving bros about the best sport in the world.

The cards and, hey, even routes are always
in, odd routes are always out.
I know on the tree, it might not look like, you know,
it might look confusing because it's pointing that way.
But just remember if you're lined up on the left,
it's an even number.
It's going in.
And I'm just kind of sitting there between plays like, oh, man, we got to,
we got to get, we got to get open.
Somebody's got to take charge.
We got to get open.
Somebody's got to take charge.
Sounds like they need a coach, well.
Sounds like, yeah, yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Fun time is over.
Yeah, fun time's over.
You know what that brought me in?
Because you guys suck.
I'm just looking to have fun.
And I'm having a lot of fun.
So it's been good.
But they need a voice.
Just saying, you have fun losing.
They need a voice.
Speaking of voice.
Should we do voicemails?
Yes.
We do some call-ins.
601 in the dads.
You want to be featured on the show?
Drop a voicemail, vent.
Say whatever you want to.
Yes.
And of course, dad call-ins are presented by Gravely.
we want to thank Gravely.
We have two call-ins this week.
If you've got a lawn, a property,
or you're out there mowing for a living,
you need to know about these guys.
Gravely's been building mowers since 1916.
We're talking, that's World War I era, chef.
That's crazy.
Over a hundred years shaping the American landscape.
Still family-owned to this day, that matters.
Because you're not dealing with some major corporation.
you're dealing with the brand that's been doing this the right way for generations.
Their whole thing is built to mow the distance.
That's not just a tagline.
That is the mentality, guys.
These are built for people who need a machine that shows up and performs day in and day out,
no excuses.
So if your mowers on its last leg or you just want something that's actually built for the long haul,
go find your gravely.
And the reason I'm giggling is because if Will had a gravely,
I think we all know what the answer would be.
I think we all know where Will's head would be at if he had a gravely.
So you can head to gravely.com forward slash bussen.
That's gravely.com forward slash bussen.
And use their dealer locator and find one near you.
Find your gravely.
First one is Uncle Mitch.
Boys, this is Uncle Mitch from St. Louis,

Shut the trash out on the first try.
Let's fucking go, boy.

Good job, Uncle Mitch.
Well done.
Shout out Uncle Mitch, man.
Oh, yeah.
Keep on that.

Tell me, daughter peaked again all over the bed.

And she puked again all over her changing mat.
Good.
This dude is defeated.
I'm hungry now and everything's close.
Guess who's cooking?
Good.
We're in trenches right now.
Oh.
Do you all remember that voice?
That way real viral when we were like in high school?
Yeah, that one's over?
Oh, my God.
You read that one that went really viral when we were in high school and middle school?
That was the girl that got broken up with.
She's like, I love it.
you and I miss you.
That's what that reminded me up.
We need a little more enthusiasm.
That dude is defeated right now.
It peeped again.
This is good.
I got to begin on the change man.

He needs an olipop.
He does.

Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
I like that.
I love to see the wrecks.
And that, of course, was this week's dad call-ins
presented by Gravely.

All right, I got e-mails.
Emails.
Emails. 601
the dads at gmail.com.
This one is subject.
Need advice.
It's from Colin Wilson.
Fellas.
This is Colin Wilson again.
From Ophalen, Missouri.
So Missouri boys chiming in on this episode.
M.
I Z.
You talk about Austin Simmons right now?
Come on.
Drink.
A drink's probably listening.
He said, finally, they're talking about us.
He saw my breakdown of the Missouri, Florida game.
on busing and paid on campus.
Oh, yeah.
We'll be in Lincoln this weekend
of this Friday.
But he saw it and he was like,
you were spot on.
And I was.
He DM'd you that?
Yeah.
Did that get you juiced?
Hell yeah, it got me juiced.
Because what I said was like,
I think the whole thing is I got to believe
after four weeks of film
that somebody's going to figure out tendencies
in this run game.
Yeah.
Because essentially it's like make Aaron Philo beat you.
He's thrown the ball 87 times.
And out of those 87, and I know I'm getting off the email right now from Colin Wilson,
because I'm starting to wax poetic on some ball talk.
But the Muzoo Tigers that are tuned in right now.
But out of Aaron Filo's 87 throws, I want to say it was like 46 were play action, 27 were screenplays.
Out of those 87 throws.
So what is that, North of 70?
Yeah, I mean.
He has, he's only had to drop back like 13 times because that run game is so dynamic.
Yes.
So if you went on first down, oh, by the way,
number one first down team in the SEC was the Missouri Tigers.
If there's something formulated in those first four weeks
to where you can shut down and win on early downs and make Aaron Philo play quarterback,
I'm not saying he's not a good quarterback,
but he hasn't had to win you a ball game yet.
Yeah.
And can he beat you if you just slow down Jaden Ball and Clark, which they did?
Yeah.
So I was like, because this offense in Austin Simmons, he can dish it around.
Yes.
And not to get it off of the email, but to like to your point of everybody looks at a football season like every single game is the same.
The games at the beginning of the season, you were finding tendencies of teams.
Yeah.
To that point, Florida had not been found out yet.
Mizzou, and that doesn't make them a bad football team.
It's just Mizzu said, hey, that game plan that's working really great for him right now, they're about to have to go back to the whiteboard after they play up.
Because we're about the...
We're not a football show.
We're a dad show.
We're a dad show.
When I would break down,
like when we'd break down film
in college, NFL, it doesn't matter.
You're always looking at the last...
It's a four-week sample size.
Yes.
You're looking at the last four weeks.
Now that four weeks have been played,
because say you're in week two
and it's a new because,
what is it,
Faulkner is the OC for Florida?
Don't know.
Either way,
if it's new staff,
new coaches, new coordinators,
stuff like that,
you're looking at old footage
from like the years before
on what they've done
at other programs.
Now that you had four,
weeks, it was screaming
Missou at me. I had to make a flip and go
Missou plus five and a half the day of the game.
But it was like my spidey senses
were going off. I'm like, man, that
and Austin Simmons performed open heart
surgery on that defense.
He was dialed.
Now, and before we get into email, very
short quote, very short quote.
This comes from neighbor Blake.
Life is all about
getting punched in the nuts.
And right when you're getting, when you're
getting back from getting
punching the nuts, guess what's going to happen, Will?
Do you guess?
You're going to win.
You're going to win, but you're going to get punching in the nuts again.
The nut punches keep coming.
You've got to respond to him.
Amen. Now back to Colin Wilson's email from Ophala, Missouri.
Oh, my God. We didn't even read it.
I saw a foul in Missouri, and you said,
Missouri Tigers, and I'm like, oh, let's talk about the game for a second.
My oldest daughter, Charlie, started third grade this year.
Recently, her and I were talking about her day,
and she told me there's a boy in her class that likes her and wants to kiss her.
Oh, God.
I know you guys aren't quite there yet in fatherhood, but it's coming.
Could you let me know if I handled this wrong and let me know how you guys would handle it?
Oh, God.
The guys that don't have a third grader yet.
When she told me she wants to kiss her,
when she told me he wants to kiss her, I said the first thing that popped into my head,
was if he wants to kiss you so bad,
he's going to have to kiss me first.
Which ain't going to happen.
I tried to keep it cool, though,
and then I went on to ask her if she likes him at all.
And luckily, she said she only likes him as a friend.
But I don't think this is going away anytime soon.
Any advice will help.
Side note, wore my for the dad's hat
to the BMW championship golf tournament,
figuring there will be a bunch of dads there,
and maybe I can put them on game.
It worked.
Got some compliments on it.
And a couple people asking me what that hat is from.
And I told them all about the pod.
Keep up the good work.
What?
Shut out.
Yeah, gong it.
Gong it.
Gong it.
Gong it.
Oh, will he see?
Right.
Wrong?
Dude, I don't know.
I don't know.
I haven't been in that pocket yet.
It's something I think about a lot.
I do like the, he's going to have to kiss me first.
I like, what if the boy comes up and he's like, I got to kiss you.
I'm trying to kiss your daughter.
And Mr. Compton.
I'm trying to kiss Roo, so I heard, you know, let's just make it short and sweet man,
pucker up, let's get it over with.
And yeah, I mean, that is real.
That's a real situation.
I know, because I feel like at that age, I'm trying to remember my young self.
It's all about being able to say stuff like, oh, that's my girlfriend.
But they're not really, you know what I mean?
Yeah, yeah.
They're your girlfriend at the playground.
Yeah.
And that's about it.
Dude, I don't know what to say.
I want to kiss.
I mean, that's...
I think telling the daughter,
you got to ask my dad's permission for that.
But what if he comes and asks permission?
Well, then I used to say no.
He's dropping nuts and it's like, hey, respect answers.
But it's a third grader.
But you can say no to the third grader.
Dad can say no.
Because if third grader drops us nuts and goes and asks dad and says,
can I kiss your daughter?
Your answer could just be no.
we're not doing that.
I don't know.
I don't hate the, he's got to kiss me first.
I don't hate that.
I don't hate it.
I don't know how to handle it.
Yeah.
I could just see that backfiring
if the little kid went back to his dad and said,
Mr. Compton said I had to kiss him.
And then nothing else.
Like, I could see that just going so bad.
Gong ramp.
Gong rant.
Well said.
Trying to kiss my son?
Hey, Dad Podcast, get over here.
Oh shit.
Yeah, I don't know, man.
Like, a part of me would like to think, like,
I want to talk to the parents so that way we can both sides handle it on the back end.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah, then they go, yeah, I think a kiss would be great.
What do you all think?
Yeah.
It's just a lose, lose, lose.
Maybe that's another thing
You're trying to teach your daughter
Like oh you know teaching her to tell the boy no
Yeah
You know what I mean like you know
Yeah
Kissing is just for my mom and dadda
Sounds like the next bedtime story
The Slasher
Tries to go in for a kiss
Yeah you tell a story
Kill him
Yeah you try to teach a concept
Of like saying no to stuff like that
Then he got murdered
He got killed
Yeah the kiss is poisonous
Oh yeah
And so Rue he got stabbed
32 times because he tried to kiss Stygie.
We can't say that.
And it was, you know, just torso blows.
Nothing to the face, but it was 32 steps.
So just I would keep that in mind.
I don't know.
Yeah.
Yeah.
I feel like the answer in there somewhere is like empowering your daughter to like say no.
If she feels uncomfortable about hearing a question like that, like having her, you know, feel strong to say, just tell the young man no.
As Rue read the power of no yet.
It's a good book.
Not yet.
Not yet.
We'll get her reading.
That is one that Gammy got Jill on pretty early.
She was having those conversations around that grade, like third and fourth and fifth grade,
of boys are going to try and kiss you or hold your hand or blah, blah, blah.
And you need to, you know, be able to tell them no if you don't want to.
Right.
And if they keep trying, you go and tell the authority figure, whoever the teacher is.
Yeah, yeah.
You're still uncomfortable.
Which I'm sure everybody's going to.
I have their own playbook, they're probably not like,
Will Sherman help?
Clearly, by the way, we just kind of, is a,
I don't hate that you got to kiss me.
Honey, don't worry, I got it.
Hey, Joey, how about you come kiss me?
What the fuck?
I have an email as well.
I have Quentin Kibulka.
or Quentin Chibolka.

Nanit is unplugged.
It's not charged.
Jill's look at me going,
honey,
I can't fall asleep tonight if the nanit's not charged and going.
That's how much my wife loves her nanit system.
I know the clumps here.
Also with their newborn or using nanit.

This is not just a story that we tell on the podcast.
This is actual real life application of Kevin's natural foods.

Don't have another dad loss because you didn't pick up the Kevin's guys.
Stock up in their entrees, on their entrees, in the refrigerated aisle at your local grocery store.
Let's get back to this episode.
Hey, Shirm, hey Willie, two shelves.
I'm a believer in people.
I apologize in advance for the long.
message. I've been listening to for a couple of months now after randomly throwing on for the
dads at work. Full disclosure, I'm not a dad. Thankfully. I'm only 24, but I am a funcle to a four-year-old
nephew and a two-year-old niece. I keep listening because I genuinely enjoy the stories and the
camaraderie that y'all bring to the table. I've especially appreciated all of the light that you
have shed recently on childhood cancer, specifically the absolute dog that is Evie the
Brave. Gong rip.
Unfortunately, that's an area my family knows pretty well because my older brother went through
childhood cancer himself. I wanted to reach out because I think y'all would appreciate this dog's
story. Spelled it DAWG. Even if it's only ever for your own eyes and ears. My brother's
name is Sammy at age 16. He was diagnosed with the ultra rare aggressive cancerous tumor in his
shoulder estimated to be one in two billion. They
labeled it.
Rabdo myasakarma.
Mysacarma.
Mya karma.
I think you're saying it right.
Somebody that wrote in not too long ago had.
It was like the same word.
That's right.
Okay.
But even the doctors weren't completely sure what they were dealing with after months of
silence after a biopsy.
He went through a full year of aggressive chemotherapy with radiation layered on for the
first several months. Over that time, he'd spend weeks at a time in some holidays in the hospital.
He'd come home attached to bags of fluid. He lost feeling in his hands, his feet, he lost his
hair and dealt with pain. I can't even begin to imagine. Through it all, the doctors and nurses
kept telling him the treatment would probably take longer than a year. They figured that he'd
eventually need to take a week off, miss a session, or simply not be physically capable of
showing up. They had no idea who they were betting against. Every week, Sammy showed up wearing a
different jersey counting down the treatments, but always with the same smile on his face. He'd sit in the
waiting room, coloring with the younger kids, he'd never complain, and he never missed a single week,
a feat that had doctors and nurses in awe. When he finally walked in, or finally walked out,
wearing a number zero UCLA Westbrook jersey for his last chemo treatment, there wasn't much debate left
about who had won in the A-GAP.
And somehow, with all of that, while all of that was going on,
Sammy still found a way to make it about more than himself.
During the treatment, he became one of the hospital's spokespeople for fundraising,
delivering powerful speeches, left and right,
and helping raise money on behalf of all the little ones he was battling alongside every week.
While he was getting chemo, radiation, and fighting his own fight,
he was standing in front of the rooms full of people telling their stories to.
In the middle of the hardest year of his life, he was still finding ways to fight for the kids sitting next to him.
Sammy is the type of person anyone would want beside them in a foxhole and the amount of support he received during that year reflected the kind of person he is.
For some contacts, before his diagnosis, he was an outgoing three-sport athlete.
He played strong safety and led his football team in tackles despite missing the first four games.
He was a basketball captain and floor general point guard,
ran track and competed in the decathlon.
Sports has always run through his blood.
Even his make-a-wish was an SVP experience,
which was unbelievably dope, by the way.
Shout out SVP for that.
That's really cool to hear.
The rehab afterward was a whole different beast.
After more than a year of his body getting put through hell,
he basically had to build himself back from the ground up.
He was never physically quite the same after losing his,
his middle dealt, but somehow he worked his way all the way back and made a basketball team again.
He hasn't slowed down since.
Now he's still a tank in the weight room, runs constantly, and does Iron Man triathlons because
he just does not know how to relax.
The dude lives in the A-gap.
Today, Sammy is healthy in pursuing his dream of becoming a sports journalist and entertainer.
I mainly wanted to share his story, but I also wanted to pass along his page at Chaboka Media
or Sibulka Media.
I hope I'm saying that correctly.
I will spell it C-I-B-U-L-K-A media on Instagram
and all the other platforms in case you want to check out his work.
I highly recommend it.
Willie C could probably even tail a couple of his picks
and end up a few units richer.
Let's go.
Appreciate the ride-in, brother.
Great ride-in.
Yeah.
24-2, just watching the soads.
That's a ST.
S. T. Sicko. We're going to get into a lesson. I know you have a lesson.
But I do have a shout out of here because we're shouting out of birthday for Corbyn on his 12th birthday.
I feel like Austin Delaney wrote in. And he has a good small lesson for all the dads out there.
Hey, boys, love the pod. October 10th will mark my 12 year anniversary as a PT6 veteran.
I remember watching college football, Dak Prescott on my Mississippi State Bulldogs.
Hail State.
Oh, come on from the hospital room.
while wife he rested with our newborn son laying on her chest.
From that day, our life has been a non-stop adventure that we could have never predicted.
12 years later, and I laugh every time you guys tell stories about your little ones,
remembering those years and what a journey it's been.
Take it from me.
Those stories do not stop coming.
It seems like he was just learning to walk and ride a bike and going to his first day of kindergarten.
Nowadays, we spend every fall Saturday watching our young man dominate the sea gap or the edge
and make QBs run for their lives.
in his fourth year of youth tackle football.
Next year, he'll be in junior high
and is already making plans for playing after high school.
Let me tell you, boys, time flies.
I can't believe I have twice as many years of memories
made with him as I do to come before he heads off
into the world on his own.
My only hope is that as a dad,
I will have been a good example,
even if sometimes that example is what not to do.
So he's ready to take on the world when that day comes.
cherish every moment, even when they get old enough to think that they're older than they are
and challenge you every single damn day and every single thing that you say.
So boys, will you please shout out my man, Corbyn for his 12th birthday.
Shout out, Corbyn, happy birthday.
Hit the gong.
Happy birthday, Corbyn.
He listens to all your content with me and even hit the Willie C. Flex in his recent family reunion photo.
He's an absolute dog and I love him more than I could have ever thought.
I've had the capacity of loving.
Keep it up, fellas.
This is the best pot out there sincerely.
Austin from Wyoming.
307 Bulldog on X.
P.S. Shirm, your ex content is elite.
Wow.
And I know he spelled dog D-A-WG.
You know he spelled dog D-A-WG.
Very quick birthday shout-out.
This comes from Alyssa Vitsthum.
Alyssa wrote in and wanted to wish a happy birthday to her husband, Logan.
His birthday is October 8th.
Happy birthday, Logan.
Happy birthday, Logan.
We love you, baby!
Maybe we OD the gong?
No.
No, okay, okay.
You know.
It is for Evie, for sure.
Can I tell you something right now
before any comments flowed in about the gong?
I am pro gong.
Pro gong?
And I am pro gong living by Will.
Okay.
And I am pro will getting so passionate talking to chef
that he starts shaking the mallet at chef.
Like everything about the gong,
I am pro.
Okay.
What kind of cutlets are we talking about?
Okay, my lesson of the week comes from Lou Holtz,
and it is his five rules.
So Lou Holtz, I'll read the five rules,
and I'll go into them just very quickly.
Attitude, passion to win, purpose and focus,
grow, don't maintain, and choices.
For attitude, the only thing you can control is your attitude.
You will get knocked down.
The choice is whether you will stay down.
You can succeed when no one believes in you.
You have no chance if you don't believe in yourself.
Passion to win.
That means sacrifice.
There's a price to pay and killing excuses.
So can you live with losing?
Can you accept mediocrity?
That tells me everything about you.
It sounds like I'm preaching.
to the choir here.
Oh, and five.
All I'm thinking about is this is your speech for your team on Thursday night.
This is.
This is.
Purpose and focus.
Keep it to two mandates and execute them,
which I love this when I was thinking of ways to apply this to fatherhood.
I often find myself describing an elephant of a problem and not segmenting that
elephant, you know, one bite at a time.
So finding two mandates that you can execute on.
and having purpose and focus to constantly be executing on these two mandates.
They are your constants.
Grow, don't maintain.
You're either growing or you're dying.
Four things, fill the void.
Something to do, someone to love, someone to believe in, and something to hope for.
And then choices.
Life is the result of choices, which we've talked about this on this podcast.
So life is the result of choices, not circumstances.
he ties this to three rules do what's right do everything to the best of your ability and show
people that you care um i thought there was a lot of good that could be applied to fatherhood as far
as a synopsis there because i feel like that was almost six of our you know lessons of the
week that we've done on this podcast into like a little tight five um i don't currently have this
printed out, but I kind of do after it was sent to me. Shout out my dad, Papa Sherm.
Shout up Papa Sherm, man. Who sent it to me on Monday morning. Just a little reminder.
Five points. Five points. And that's it. That's my lesson in the week. Passion to win. Passion to win.
What am I doing? Full circle. That's a great lesson. Full circle. Great lesson.
Speaking to yourself. Speaking to your team. Yep. I'll have it printed out for this Thursday.
Put that on your wristband.
Put these five keys.
Hey Sherman, sheet A, play six.
Come on, Lou, what we got?
Take out the trash.
Appreciate you guys tuning in.
Make sure to leave comments.
Make sure you subscribe, following all the fun stuff.
Embrace, Beechober.
We love you.
We appreciate you.
We will see you next week.
See you next week.
