Hosted by Will Compton–NFL Vet, creator of Bussin' With the Boys, and proud dad of two. This show isn’t about expert advice and how fatherhood is the greatest thing on earth—it’s about embracing the love and suck of parenthood every day. From balancing work and family to battling the mental load, fears, and the moments that wreck you in the best way, we dive into it all with honesty, vulnerability, and a sense of humor. Cause at the end of the day... us dads have no idea what we're doing. Alongside Will is his producer Sherman Young, a recently new father who’s currently deep in the trenches of Fatherhood and loving every minute of it. Together, they’ll break down everything that can go right and wrong (...usually wrong) when you bring tiny humans into this world. Expect funny parenting stories, laughs, call-ins, advice, weekly themes, and the kind of conversations you’d have over a cold beer in the garage. Whether you’re raising teens or still Googling “how to install a car seat”, For the Dads is the ultimate podcast for dads who are in it, about to be in it, or just trying to do their best while screwing it up along the way. ----- FOLLOW THE BOYS Instagram: / Forthedadspod Twitter: / Forthedadspod Facebook: / Forthedadspod TikTok: / Forthedadspod LISTEN iTunes: http://bit.ly/BWTB_Apple Spotify: http://bit.ly/BWTB_Spotify ----- Drink Olipop - Buy any 2 cans of Olipop in store, and we'll pay you back for one. Whether you're stepping up to the starting line of a marathon or just trying to take the first step toward a big, scary goal,
the conversation in your head is usually the same. Do I have what it takes? I'm Emily Abadi, and on hurdle with Emily Abadi,
we dive into the grit, vulnerability, and mindset that fuels our greatest comebacks. I talk to elite athletes, Olympic champions,
industry change makers, and everyday runners about how they face self-doubt, redefine success, and keep moving forward when life gets heavy.
I just love to say I never know who's watching.
So you want to make sure you, you through and through,
and you just stay true to who you are.
Yeah, your path might change because different things come on your path to disrupt it,
but it's just putting you on a new path,
and the skills you have to have faith at the skills that you've learned and developed over time
are going to continue to bring you success.
When the world is burning and crashing around you,
will you still say fight for your dream?
Will you still say it's possible?
Will you still believe you're a good person?
Can you still see the brighter side of tomorrow?
It's motivation.
real talk and practical wisdom for life on and off the run.

Is there an epidemic against literature?
More specifically, black literature.
Our books are being banned, scanned by AI, and destroyed.
I'm Jack Weiss Peace Thomas, and on this season of the Blacklit podcast, we're outside asking some of the custodians of our stories, teachers, and
our modern-day writers. Why? They don't want a whole bunch of little Ella bakers,
Michael Maxis and Martin Luther King's running around. They want to build children who have no
empathy. That's really the ultimate goal. We want books that don't make white kids feel bad.
So is the war on literacy and information or our ability to connect?
We want people to know how sexy reading is and how fun they could be and not always
associated with education. It could be an escape. It could be entertainment. And that is
is the beauty of reading. It can be all of those things. And considering this is Black Reading Month,
the only real question is, what are you reading next? Listen to Black Lit from the Black Effect
Podcast Network on our iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcast.
This is Jay Valentine. I've spent my career on the executive side of this industry,
multi-platinum songs, building artists, and building business. And alongside my brother, Tank,
the superstar R&B singer, songwriter and producer,
we've created something special,
the R&B Money podcast.
This is not just a podcast.
It's a safe space where artists,
executives, and fans of R&B music come to reminisce.
Pull back the curtain and tell the stories
that shape this culture.
The real history behind the hits.
That was Hood famous.
And then Real Love came out and it blew up.
We lived in a project.
And they're seeing all the success.
They're hearing the music and we had nothing.
We're covering the entire spectrum from
Smokey Robinson, Alicia Keys, B2K, Mary J. Blige,
legends, current stars, and everyone who's contributed to the sound of R&B.
You come out the gate with a hit.
And then not Michael Jackson out of number one.
Come on, man.
I was like, hold on.
I'm not going to MJ out of the number one spot.
If you're a super dedicated R&B fan who wants the real discovery, the real stories,
this is your podcast.
This is the R&B Money podcast.

The science worked.
The science worked.
Will the, I think the entire world is excited for this boy.
I don't think I've ever seen the internet truly come together like that.
the amount of 2044 better get ready.
Huskers got themselves a linebacker, baby.
We're talking NIL.
Not the place expectation on the young man.
His dad's excited.
I know that.
I can sit here and tell you all about how excited I am
and just the knowing,
like the hard part of sitting down and doing episodes
and knowing that this was eventually going to be announced
and being so excited for you.
I would just love to hear you talk about your excitement.
Well, my excitement, number one, welcome to For the Dads.
We talk about the highs and lows of fatherhood.

You were asking my experience?
Yeah, your experience and your excitement.
Excitement is high.
Yeah.
experience my wife.
Like we collived on her Instagram post yesterday.
My wife kind of shared, you know, the stuff that's that's going on having this boy.
Like we miscarried.
She miscarried last year around this time.
I remember she showed me the pregnancy test like on my birthday, fired up, told a couple of you.
But it was early in the game.
And she miscarried around seven, eight weeks.
And so that experience obviously is no.
fun. I know there's a lot of parents out there who have experienced a tragedy like that.
Yeah, yeah. And it takes a toll. I know I know this. Like it was kind of, it was a surprise to us because we
didn't know if we wanted a third. Scotty was an IVF baby. And it was more of like the conversation was,
does my wife want to, does she want to do IVF again? Because it's fully, you know, it's not me carrying
the child. It's not me going through all the, the injections and everything else that have to take place to
IVF. And she's older too. So, yeah.
that's that's kind of the formula or the journey we would need to go on. We got lucky when we realized
that we were that we were pregnant. Unfortunately, it didn't happen. That moment basically told us we
knew we wanted to have a third. And so, and again, my wife, she's not getting any younger,
not to, you know, I'm not, that's not, that's not you taking astray while you listen to in the car
right now, sweetheart. Um, so we tried for a little bit longer. And then we've, we've, um, we went the,
IVF route for this one as well. Scottie was IVF, this one is IVF. And going through that process,
you're kind of just, it's fingers crossed the whole time. When we announced a part of her was wanting to,
she's like, have you told anybody? I was like, dude, I haven't even really told my dad or my brothers or
my family. Like I know, I know I've told a few people here because it's like, you know, when my
wife is going through whatever process she's going through IVF, it's like I'm keeping guys posted
and updated for what could be going on, whether, hey, here's how the emotional vibe is at home right now,
letting guys, you know, sharing with a couple,
a couple buddies, like, in our circle here at the shop.
Yeah, yeah.
And so it's, it's like, it's fingers crossed throughout that entire process
because when you experience the whole miscarriage thing,
then you're back in the saddle for IVF,
like it's constant steps in IVF.
You're hopeful that you are fortunate to have a child,
your first go around throughout the process of IVF,
because we have friends that they're not successful
through the first round of IVF.
They got to do it multiple times
and then they experience the miscarriages
and everything else.
So it's like the injection start,
all of that happens.
And I know we're going to have our wives on at some point.
My wife and I did an IVF podcast
last Mother's Day on the bus
with the boys channel if you want to go,
if you want to go listen to that.
And we kind of just talked about the entire journey
because IVF, it's very much like a taboo conversation.
Until then you start sharing with buddies
and then you realize friends go through it
and you have some commonalities with people.
And then you start connecting.
over that to realize like, oh man, this is a little bit more common than I thought it was.
And to get back and answer your question about the experience, it's like you do the injections,
then you see how many, you know, eggs you get from that process.
Then with the eggs, like how many are viable embryos or viable eggs?
And then it's, you know, after testing from that happens, you know, you want to hit a certain
number.
How many are we going to have?
Then there's like a handful that we got out of our, out of her cycle.
And then from there, it's, you know, you chip up, you get them graded.
And so then, like last time with Scotty, Scotty was, all of the other embryos had like a
chromosome deficiency.
So what that means is we get that news while Scotty is already implanted in Charo.
So you get the news that all the other embryos are chromosome deficient.
That gives you a little scare because what happens is the chromosome deficiency is one
of three things happen. The most probable result is a miscarriage. Then there is a chromosome deficiency
or the female body corrects it while it's in the uterus. So knowing those risk factors that go in,
you're not using the embryos that are there. So we went through another cycle to where we're getting
those embryos graded. And then when those embryos come back, it's like we had like, I'm going to get an
APR report on this from the Wi-Fi. But I want to say,
We had four, four or five embryos that were graded well.
And so from there, it's like you got the, you have the boy and then you have the girls.
There was one boy.
And that's obviously the one that your boy was wanting.
And her too, like she wanted a boy as well.
Like we love our daughters.
But I've always like since a young cat running around the football field, like you want every man wants a son.
Yeah.
And so knowing we had one opportunity.
at the sun, it's like, again, still fingers crossed.
Like, you go in and you can't experience milestones
the way you would normally experience milestones
in like a natural pregnancy.
Because in a natural pregnancy, like you see a positive test.
And if you haven't had a miscarriage or anything else,
it's a high moment.
Yeah.
You're excited.
Then you get to where you see the ultrasound for the first time
where you're doing all these doctor visits
to where everything is progressing well.
So it's nothing but excitement, excitement, excitement.
When you're going through this process
and you've done it before,
you've had a miscarriage now,
there's no feeling of a milestone
anytime it happens.
Talking from my own personal,
my experience,
my vantage point from the whole thing.
I'm sure trial feels the same way,
but I want to put words in her mouth.
Yeah.
But it's fingers crossed every step of the way.
So then you have,
hey, we're going to implant the boy.
And then you go in and have the ultrashound
where the operation runs to where they want to implant
inside the uterus.
Well, then when you implant it's successful,
it's successful.
We're fired at the boy,
where, you know, the implantation.
process was successful. But then you sit back and it's like, well, now you got to wait and see if it sticks. So then you got to wait a few days to see to see if the embryo or the egg sticks inside of the uterus. Then after that, it's like, okay, you'll come back after another week or the next couple weeks. There might be an injection or two left. But everything doesn't feel like an exciting milestone. It feels more like, okay, we got through that step. Now we got this next step. A finger crossed miles. A fingers crossed milestone every time. So then when it was eight weeks, it's like you get to that seven or eight week mark. Then,
it's like nerves because of the experience last year.
Then you get to, you know, 10 weeks, I know,
miscarriage is dropped dramatically around that point.
Yeah.
But then you're still like, okay, you want to get to the next step.
Then you get to 12 to where it drops off dramatically, okay,
but you still want to get to the next step.
Because in the back of my mind, you know people miscarry even beyond.
Yeah.
Even beyond that.
So nothing has ever felt like the excitement,
like I'm fully bought into where that this is happening.
So telling people yesterday, after we've told everybody else, telling people yesterday,
because Charles has been wanting to because she just hasn't been herself, like her full self
for over a month because the nausea, it's knocked her down, bro.
Like, you know, in a way to where she's operating her business, she's being around clients
and running classes, having to have people cover for her.
She hasn't been able to tell everybody.
She knows she hasn't been the best version of herself.
She feels awful about it.
she feels like she can't, you know, she's not adding all the values she would love to at home.
And even when she is, she's just not feeling like herself.
So that makes her feel very isolated alone and everything else.
So now that we've kind of told, we've kind of told everybody we've wanted to tell,
we've posted about what we told the world and we're publicly.
Like, I know she feels a little bit of weight off her.
First of all, because she's gotten to tell her community of people that are now able to, you know,
she'll feel better about people putting their arm around her and everything else to where she's just now.
It's almost like that type A person that's a grinder and loves to just be that person for everybody all the time.
She just hasn't felt, been able to feel that way.
She hasn't shared.
And there's an understanding now of why.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Through all the process and everything else going on.
But now that we are here, it's like fingers are still crossed.
Could use all the positive vibes in the world.
Of course.
Very obviously your boy is very excited about having a boy.
I'm very excited.
It's in there's still a part of me that's like it's got to get you never feel I don't know.
Yeah.
I don't know.
It's like the part of me is not allowing myself to like because you put all the expectation,
all your excitement and everything like happening, it's happening.
And in the off chance that it doesn't, it's I hate setting myself up to just be like completely,
you know, defeated.
Yes.
You know what I mean?
Yes.
Because you just don't, you do you.
We don't know what we're going to like this could be the last.
shall we? Like if we get a third, like we know that we're done. Yeah. And she knows that like,
you know, I've always been like, you know, you have the, you have another girl. It's like,
oh, I'm just, they're just dominating my life. You want that, that, that masculinity. Yeah.
You, you have very much like a weight on you. And I don't mean that in a bad way. Like,
I just know your heart on this. I am going to try very,
hard not to well up when I say this. But just knowing you, every, every guy out there wants a son,
they want their boy. But I don't think I've ever met somebody that has wanted it more than
Will Compton and talks about it like Will does. We'll just be talking football. Then all of a sudden
it gets to him and then talking about like his high school days because we're talking just football
in high school days.
And you're just, you don't got to get that boy.
Like, you would just, like, work it into conversations.
The part that makes me so excited is truly the, like, evidence from the internet of how many
people are excited for you because you have wanted this.
But I had Joey McGuire text me saying he's going to look great and red and black,
Texas Tech red and black.
And then I'm sitting down doing all the AI images and everything else.
I'm putting a pretty hardcore expectation on them.
I said I would not do that.
And to that point, like, you are such a great dad.
You are.
By the way, I'm obsessed with my daughters.
He is obsessed with his daughters.
Like the stuff I was writing caption wise yesterday,
people are like, oh, your bloodline doesn't exist because you have two girls.
Like, what are you talking about?
It's like, I miss me with that.
Yes.
He is obsessed with his daughters.
But for the people that aren't like in the office every day,
Will is so purposeful with his parenting,
but with his teaching and coaching.
And I think that your son is so lucky to not only have Charo as a mom and Roo and Scotty as sisters,
but holy cow, he has no idea the dad that he's getting.
and the intentionality and how much you're going to pour into him, the amount of times that I sit
across from you and you're talking to me like a football coach, I know that you're my boss,
but like bosses don't really like sit there and break stuff down for somebody and like get to know
the heart behind something and really want to coach them because they want to see them be better.
Like you your want to make people better and to teach them and coach them.
your son is so lucky and I think that it's just going to be a beautiful thing that you get to
enjoy so much masculinity like man stuff with your son that I know that you love you will get to
share those things that you love with him and we don't know what your son's going to be into
or what he's going to want to do or whatever but I know whatever it is like you're going to
to come alongside him and be an incredible dad. And I think you're very deserving of that. So I just
wanted you to hear that. I appreciate that, man. And I know the weight's like real heavy on you
because you want it so bad. And that's a good, that's a good place to be. It's a really scary place to
be. But that just means that it like, it means that much to you. And I think that's really special.
So best to you and to Charo and congratulations Charo. We're just, we're just, we're,
we're beyond excited and happy for you.
Yeah.
He's gonna have a dad that loves him.
He's gonna be number three on the list too.
He's always gonna be number three on the depth chart.
He's gonna be below his sisters.
Like they've already captured the majority of love of space in my heart.
Oh, gosh.
But he'll be number three immediately on the depth chart.
Can I pry and ask an inappropriate question?
Because I know the listeners would want me to.
Are there names floating around?
There's names floating around.
Okay.
That's all, that's all I was gonna ask.
That's it.
No, I'll have to tell me.
There's names floating around.
Guess the names in the comments below.
Guess the names.
That's what we want.
I'm already seeing William Earl Compton the fourth, which I, you know, I lean that way.
But I'm seeing the nickname Vice because if you go backwards on that, it spells out Vice.
And then the W would technically be the V with the one in front of it.
I thought that was kind of cool.
Yeah.
Well, yeah, yeah, yeah.
They're floating around.
Willie four, you know, the obviously.
Kong Cuatro.
That's, uh, that's toward the top.
And I'm being inappropriate right now.
I am prying and I do apologize.
You're fine, bro.
Trust me.
I look.
I'm already looking into red light bassinettes.
Good.
I'm already thinking.
You already got greenfield on speed.
Yeah.
Like I'm looking for cooling pads as he sleeps at night.
Like what type of stretches can I do with this young man?
Can I, am I allowed to put him in a sauna at 12 weeks old?
Two in the hot, two in the sauna and we'll go a minute in the cold tub.
If I do the cold plunge with them here, like he'll have my body warm.
They'll be good.
You got to be uncomfortable if you're going to grow.
Dude, my crack a cold one, by the way.
And I know we have a tremendous interview with Trey Kennedy.
I am sick that I was not here for Trey Kennedy because we're on the road for buss and
and a paint last Friday.
Yeah, yeah.
I know we got an awesome interview lined up.
My crack of cold one
because you guys probably hit crack of cold ones in the...
We did.
Brought to us by olipop.
Of course.
But I have a tremendous
olipop cracker cold one.
It goes to Rue.
Roo did the sauna with me on Sunday.
No.
Roo did the cold tub with me on Sunday.
Yes.
Yes, sir, yes.
She heard the news and she's like,
I'm not getting replaced.
She said, I'm still over one.
My girls, they're going to know.
Like, they will always be at the top of the food chain.
Like, it's, it's, um, yeah.
Like, they are.
they're my girls but rue she was I just asked her I said hey do you want to get in the sauna with
dad then um char was very much like is that safe is that okay I was like let me do some digging
and I'll have her lay on the lower bench where it's you know not as hot as sitting on the top yeah
yeah yeah but she mom went to go she went to go shop for some crafting or something like that
because she started doing the ha the Halloween costumes yeah and scotty was napping
so me and ru go back she gets ready she wanted to wear a dress I'm like sweetheart we don't
we don't dress is.
Not in the sauna.
Because you're going to want to wear the dress afterwards.
You're going to want something that you can sweat in.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
But she gets in the sauna with me, bro.
And I'm talking, it's 190 in the sauna.
It's 190.
What did Google say when you Googled?
They said it'd be good.
Like when I'm diving into some to some AI and find some research on it.
Like Huberman, like all the people in the industry leaders.
Yeah, yeah.
Don't give me the political.
that it's not safe. Oh, I know Health 3.0 digging in performance.
Would it be safe for, I typed in five-year-old instead of four-year-olds?
You and Papa Shirm have something in common. He would, when we would go up to the gym or something
with them, like he would take us to the sauna too when we're little dudes. Yeah. You're not alone.
Yeah. And I saw it would be safe for a good five, ten minutes, depending on temperature.
But I'm already in my mind. I know it's 190 in the sauna right now. You walk in, obviously,
it's much cooler. Like you put your phone and everything else down.
at the bottom of the floor because it's cool down there.
And then you have the first bench,
which is not near as high as the top bench.
Yep.
And so I'm like, all right, I'll lay Rue, gave her a pillow.
To lay on that middle bench should be solid.
She rocked in there with me for 12 minutes.
And she got...
Let's go.
Once you got to her,
she had the sweat beads on her shoulders
like coming out of it.
But she ran into a fall...
She ran into dad.
She ran into a dad eight-minute monologue
of why we do things like this.
Oh, good.
Of why, you know,
I started off like, hey, you know when you ride your scooter, you fall down.
Like, it's hard.
Like, as you're writing, it gets harder because she's getting into writing, letters, and cursive.
She's getting in the color in between the lines.
She's so much better at coloring between the lines.
And remember how you get so frustrated when you couldn't color in between the lines.
And it makes you mad.
But over time, you've gotten better at all of these things.
Yes.
That's called progress because you're making yourself uncomfortable,
trying to do something better physically,
or whether it's arts and crafts or writing.
whatever it is. You're challenging yourself to be better. You don't just naturally have it. And I'm
like with our bodies, we sit in this air conditioning all the time. Like we're built soft. That's what
happens. If it's too hot outside, you come in and it's nice and cozy in the AC. If it's too cold outside,
you come into the heat and it's warm. Our bodies want to be comfortable at all times.
The way you challenge your body when you're at a steady state and you're not doing anything
or what's the word you're uh you're um where you're just still what's that called a set it said it not
sedentary either way they know people i had the word when i'm in the middle of this monologue
tour is only i was only going to do eight minutes but then i caught myself i looked at my oh shit
is 12 because i was just going on this monologue and she's looking to me i'm on the top bench
just sitting up and i'm looking down at her talking to her and
what she's she's she used to
she kept nod like she was understanding.
I'm like, to make our bodies uncomfortable.
When we do nothing, your dad likes to sit in extreme heat or getting extreme cold.
Yeah, yeah.
To make our bodies uncomfortable to adapt.
Yeah.
And make progress.
Make progress there.
That's how you get better.
That's where growth happens.
Yeah.
Are you following me?
Yeah, I'm like saying this.
I'm following up questions.
Like, do you understand what that is saying?
It's you nod, yes.
And I'm like, okay, it's been 12 minutes.
Like, now we go to the cold tub.
I set up the cold tub.
I'm like, dad is going to go in.
And I'm like, look at me, sweetheart.
I know you know this is cold.
She has never wanted to go in.
Too cold for her, which I get.
She's four.
Yeah, yeah.
That is going to get in when it gets up to here.
You're going to see me hyperventilate like,
until I can calm my breath.
That's going to take a few seconds.
And then I'll get to slower breathing.
Just know you're going to be panicked when you get in here.
This water can't hurt you.
That would never let this water hurt you or put you in danger.
So I got in, she saw it.
And I'm like, all right, come out of the sonner,
because I made her stay in the sauna.
So that way it's like she'd get the shock
of going in the cold water.
Because you sit in the AC too long,
you get a little too cold,
then it seems way too cold.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
I want her have a sweat going into the cold tub.
She walks over and I pick her up to put her in.
I'm like, just she gets her feet or, you know,
goes up to her shins.
I'm like, just stand.
She didn't want to go down.
And she was really kind of panicking on going down.
I'm like, sweetheart.
Look at Dadda.
I'm not going to let you get hurt.
Yeah.
Look at Dad at the whole time.
Drop below to where you get it up above your belly.
button and we'll just go down and you can stand right back up stay on your feet she ends up going
down bro stands back up she goes down lower to where it gets to her chest and on the last one I'm
like just sit here feel the hyperventilation and then just get to where you're slowly breathing out
she's staring at me the whole time slowly breathing out and I'm like I put her out and I'm like you're
done you did it so my cracker cold one goes through hitting some some contrast with her at the very
end you just look at her you say you crush that you listen to dad you should be so fired up
You should be fired up.
Yeah.
Here's what we're going to do.
Go upstairs.
Go put on your frozen dress.
She had it right there.
I'm like, dry off and get you back in the dress.
Yeah.
She told me,
Dad, when I'm five,
I'm going to be able to sit in the cold tip for 10 minutes.
Hey, yo.
It's what she said.
That might be a little too extreme.
But that's what she told me.
And then we charted out.
I'm like, you want to do this with that every Sunday?
And she's all about it.
This is, this is your real house.
Yeah, she's like, when's my birthday?
When do I turn five?
When you turn five in April?
Got out the calendar, counted the Sundays we have until she turns five.
We got about in between 20 and 25 Sundays to work up to this 10 minutes that she wants to be involved in.
But she's all about it.
Oh, I love that.
She asked me last night when I was doing bedtime, we didn't get in the sauna today.
Sweetheart, it's Monday.
I had to check my watch because it's Tuesday is we're doing it.
We're doing every Sunday, correct?
Yeah.
We're doing every time.
I'm like, well, we're doing every sound.
Is it tomorrow?
I'm like, no, Sunday's in six days.
You have time to prep.
Trust me.
I'll remind you when it's.
time to do sauna and cold tub.
She seems like she's into it.
Reality TV producers out there.
I just want you to know you are losing money by not putting a camera on this guy,
especially for, I cannot wait for the high school years of you driving to like a big game
of something in one of your kids in the backseat and you prepping them for like mental focus.
When you get going and your vein starts popping out of your neck and you'll,
You've only done it once or twice to me, but you'll ask me after a long monologue,
what'd you hear from that?
What did you get from that?
Like, you tell me, there's no wrong answer.
What were you hearing when I was talking?
I'm just like, Will Compton is built to be a coach.
You are built to be a coach.
One day I will be, to get to the high school level.
You got a boy.
You got a boy coming on.
And you got an eldest daughter.
that is hungry, hungry for the trenches.
You're cooking right now, Will.
Cooking right now.
Cooking right now.
It's process.
Yes.
It's all about timing.
Yes.
Because I'm telling her, too, you know how you get emotional and frazzled.
These extreme exposures help you control that vagus nerve that's located in your neck to where you're not panicking all the time.
It'll help you handle stressful situations better.
That's what I'm, she got a, yeah, she got a full lecture from dad.
to get an educational moment.
Yes.
She was tapped in.
She was locked in.
In Rio, Scotty, and son to be lock in because there's more to come with that.
Son's going to have nowhere to go when your sisters are setting the standard already and they know what the standard is to be.
He's going to have nowhere to go.
No one's coming to save one.
No one's coming to save his little life.
Dan Gabel ain't coming to save him.
So are you going to?
Oh, we have some follow-ups here.
I did, I had one dad hack that I was actually really bummed that I didn't share it with Trey when he was on.
I can squeeze it in here.
Have the babysitter show up an hour earlier than your wife thinks the babysitter should, babysitter should show up.
That's a tongue twister.
But that is my dad hack.
because oh so often are we coming up to the finish line getting ready for date night
and one of us has to switch as we're changing to watch scarlet, I'm doing my hair, blah, blah, blah.
I go, okay, that last little hour is always hell before we're going.
Why doesn't the babysitter just come at five instead of six?
If we're still getting ready, that's okay.
They're in the living room playing and mom gets,
to have more time.
And Jill pressed me on it.
She pressed me on it.
And honey,
I hope that this is a moment
where hubby was right.
But we-
Sweetheart,
I hope you can take this moment
to receive this L.
To receive this L.
That we had said
Baby Sere Crystal show up
at five instead of six.
And it was lovely.
It was lovely.
We got to both be in the mirror together,
getting ready for our date night.
And you're warm and scar,
scar,
up to the evening. If they're already playing it, simply, you get to leave the house down.
Bada, bada, boom, dude. We snuck out. She didn't even know. She had no idea. She was clung like a
monkey to a tree to Crystal on the couch. And we just snuck out the front. Oh, see ya. Great dad hack.
Thank you. Great dad hack. We got, we got follow-ups because again, I know we just,
we talked to myself having a boy. But the community is what makes this show.

Our boy, Deak, he will find them.
And before we get into the callbacks, I just want to say, I cannot tell Papa Team Six.
Moms and Dads, Milk Team Six, Papa Team Six, how much I appreciate when they come out,
when I see them in the wild.
We were at Nebraska over the weekend.
And the amount of people seeing chef and wanting to get a photo with chef
and just coming up and talking dads like, yo, I love the pod.
And when they say not busing for the dads, it means the absolute world.
And please continue to shout out.
Oh, yes.
Shirm got someone in the wild at Kooke's birthday dinner.
A young lady who was nine weeks pregnant came up.
I forget her name.
Her husband's name was Mike.
basically was singing the praises for this pod
and she said you guys whipped them into a good man.
Well, and she was very sweet.
Her and Jill then started vibed in big time,
which that is always really fun to see to you.
She's saying all this kind things to me and Deak
and she goes, okay, and by the way, hi Jill.
And then they did their thing.
But yes, thank you.
And guys in the wild, please continue to ask chef for pictures.
Please.
It's my favorite thing in the entire.
too, yeah. Autographs. Autographs would be great. Photos with chef.
It is truly my favorite thing in the entire world. Please continue to do that.
All right. Let's hit the callbacks. Yes. I got one here from
Jay Tomko 7-Eleven on YouTube from last week's episode. From what I've gathered from this
episode, I think Willie C really wants to play some flag football. Which leads me to ask,
how'd you do last week? Are we still?
Are we one in five?
Did we get a dub?
We did not get a dub.
We are 0 and 6.
And listen, I did intentionally cuss more.
And I did, I did intentionally cuss more.
This is not a bit.
Because everybody on the flag team saw the clip.
The clip got passed around.
Which clip?
The one that chef made of you talking about, hey, what's going on?
Y'all need to be cussing more.
You do some chew.
like you gotta get going.
And so the word was out.
One, most of these people, David.
We're not here for fun. We're here to win.
Yeah.
I'm random.
A Sherm Stop Outing Us comment was in the comments of that clip.
By Grace. Sarah?
By Grace.
By Grace.
By Grace.
Sheerm, stop outing us.
Grace's mom is very worried about her daughter's starting chewing tobacco.
Very worried about that.
Makes a lot, Sherm.
Yes.
So sorry.
I want to apologize to Grace's mom.
We are not trying to get your daughter
on chewing tobacco.
We're trying to win some football.
We're just trying to get some hair on some chess
and we're trying to get a W.
All right.
Played all right.
I had a couple of catches.
I had to play both ways
because we had some no-shows.
That was not fun.
That led to us getting,
what's it called?
Run ruled, essentially.
We got run-ruled.
So not only are you in six,
but after last week's pod,
you got run-ruled.
I got run-ruled.
You got run-ruled.
You got people not showing up.
Yep.
It seems like the culture's fractured.
Culture's fractured.
Have we had a player's only team meeting yet?
Yes.
In the parking lot after said game, your name was brought up.
Not by me.
Not by me.
Your name was brought up.
I said, listen, I love me some Willie C.
And I know Willie C would be there for his boy.
But Willie C is not showing up to play for our flag football team.
I love.
Oh, they want me to come.
They want you to come to play.
And I just tempered expectations.
Not in a bad way.
I didn't say, oh, he would never show up.
I just said, I just said, I don't know if Willie C would show up.
But I love where your head's at.
Love where you have a filling on this episode.
Chef.
He's out with his dad doing some charity work.
We do have Mitch.
We have Mitch.
Lord, you thought of Will before Mitch.
No offense.
You played.
No question.
All I'm thinking about is you'll never see me around this flag football team.
Before, if I was caught in the parking lot or around your game.
Did I say I brought it up?
No doubt.
No doubt.
You left the door open instead of saying we also have like somebody who would work for the national team of flag football.
What I'm thinking is I wouldn't be caught dead showing up to that flag football game before I would show up for Mitch's flag.
Mitch has been wanting me to come to.
He's just been wanting me to come and watch.
He's asked a couple times, but he kind of just, you know,
he knows it like, I don't even know what I'm trying to say.
Like, I'd be more primed to want to play than I guess watch.
But Mitch is always, nothing more.
He wants Willie C to come watch a flag football game.
Yes.
If I did that and that was out there, I would feel he would have every right to verbally stab me in the back.
It would be messed up.
Yeah.
It would be messed up.
I've been trying to get Will to come to a flag game or even just
play for three or four years since I've been playing and completely understand that you don't want
you to want to get hurt like you got your kids and everything but like if you played yeah exactly if
you if you played with shirm before you came and played with me I would I'd feel the same way well
his team's with all of his boys too not that I'd have a shot like I'll be going because I know this
group wants to win well and you've met a lot of his group wants to as fun you know what I mean he's
kind of fun we we have banana
bread passed out at the end of our game.
They're passing out banana bread.
They're passing out smelling salts.
A banana bread.
Banana bread was being passed out at the end of one of our games and our
quarterback Sean said, man, this league, man,
this league used to have a lot of teeth.
I don't know what happened.
I mean, he was pissed.
Sean was pissed about the banana bread.
All right, dads, PT-sickos,
PT-Sixers.
You know the moment that I'm about to tell you about.
it's 5.30, the kids are hangary, and someone whines, what's for dinner? You're about to panic,
but then you remember that you picked up Kevin's natural foods at the grocery store. The
refrigerated entrees give you a legit, clean ingredient, restaurant quality meal in just five minutes.
All you have to do is heat it up, add aside, and you can take all the credit for a shockingly
delicious dinner the whole family will love. I did it to my own wife. I feel. I feel. I
feel terrible saying it. I, and Kevin's, you can call me out on it. I used the cilantro lime chicken.
I made two helpings of it to even kind of further sell that I made it homemade. I got rid of all the
evidence. I put all the Kevin's boxes in the trash to try and get away with it. Jill caught me,
found the Kevin's boxes in the trash and was like, I knew it was too good to be true. It was too
tasty, shirm. So I got caught red-handed, but it does work. I'm telling you, Kevin's is the move.
If they got flavors like Thai-style coconut chicken, Korean barbecue-style chicken, and terriaki beef,
the Hawaiian-style chicken is always a hit in our house.
Hawaiian-style chicken slaps with just about anything.
You get like the side rice, call it aside.
You mix some rice in with that.
No matter what flavor you choose, Kevin's natural foods makes dinner quick, delicious, and dad-proof.
Don't miss out on Kevin's stock up on their entrees in the.
the refrigerated aisle at your local grocery store. Pt Sickos. Let's get back to this episode.
Oh, you know, teammate of yours was pissed about the banana. KB. QB1. He was like,
what's going on? We just got run ruled. We got banana bread being passed around like,
fucking banana bread. Start slapping it out of hands. And then it was a birthday of somebody else on
the team that run ruled. That's really like, hey, your birthday, like, we got some banana bread over here.
God, if I was that quarterback, I saw you eat a something.
banana bread. Just slap that shit
out. You're cramping up playing both ways.
How about we get hydrated?
Just a full
chunk of banana bread in my mouth.
I'll tell you what,
that would not be acceptable on my team.
Because he wins. They win.
They win. And they feel it when they lose.
Yeah.
This is Kumbaya.
We're undefeated right now when we have like a 90 point
score differential. So like we don't mess around.
He knows their stats.
You know, they're like, this is a different, it's a different squad.
It's a different squad.
I'll tell you what, you need a scrimmage partner.
Maybe you guys get together on our days.
There you go.
There you go. We could use, we could use some overall coaching.
We could use some overall coaching.
I think one of our, one of our core values here at the office is team over ego.
I think, I think our team could use a little team over ego.
Big ego.
every now and then.
A lot of me guys.
Give me the banana bread.
Give me, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Let me make the banana bread this week.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Oh, that's hilarious.
We have Barb Hay.
Barb Hayson, 6286 on YouTube says,
I love the gong.
Please continue to use it.
Every time you hit the gong,
it reminds me of Evie the Brave.
Shout out, Evie the Brave.
Shout out, man.
I got one here from Courtney Elterman on Spotify.
Another opportunity for chef to drop the ball with food.
First the burritos, now dinner for the Comptons.
But nay, nay, nay, nay, Courtney.
Chef delivered with dinner time at the Compton residence.
So chef was set up to travel for Bustin and Pate,
do the whole Nebraska thing because we shot up for the dad's vlog.
That will be dropping.
maybe at some point this week.
That'll be coming soon.
So it's kind of like around the routine of being up early,
like doing the stuff before we leave,
just so people get an inside look of like what a Friday would look like
in my world, balancing the family dynamic,
but also seeing like what we get to do,
what we get to experience when we go on.
A day in the life.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Some Papa Team fit before,
some setting up some lunch before leaving the house,
like all the things.
Didn't want to go as far as chef offered to.
If you, like on last week's episode, when he's like, do they like chicken nuggets?
You think they'd like some Italian breaded chicken nuggets?
And it's like, chef, where are you going with this?
He offered to bring dinner over on Thursday.
Part of me thought he was trying, like he was almost inviting like, hey, or you want me to stay at the house.
So that way I can just wake up in the morning.
And I'm thinking, okay, well, he didn't up staying at the house.
Okay, okay.
He didn't end up staying at the house.
But he offered dinner.
The way Charles was feeling, now that it's all out there, Charles was obviously she's been just low, like just feeling like dog shit.
with the nausea and everything else.
So I was like kind of a game day decision.
I'll talk to her tonight, see if she's up for like hosting
because it's just the dynamic of having somebody over to the house.
Yeah.
Chef chicken cutlets, Italian breaded chicken cutlets,
some spaghetti and some homemade mariner sauce.
He made it all himself.
He brought it over the house.
He made spaghetti at the house.
I just tipped him off because he hit me up day of on Thursday.
Hey, I'm just going to make spaghetti at the house.
When I get there,
I have everything else ready.
I'm going to do the spaghetti at the house.
I had told him that, hey, get to the house around 6, 6.15.
When he hit me with I'll make spaghetti at the house.
I'm like, no, no, no, no, no.
The food's got to be ready.
We've got to be ready to go.
Because if we're making spaghetti, we're pushing 7.7.30 for when we would have dinner.
Yeah.
He heard it.
He was on.
He came over at 5.30.
Was making pasta in the kitchen.
Rue is operating with him.
I mean, this was an A-plus all-around effort by chef.
Yeah.
He came in.
He got to experience the full 530 through bedtime, a full three hour, two to three hour display of what goes on in the Compton household.
Like we had dinner.
Ruse setting up the dinner table.
We all have dinner together.
We're doing Rosen Thorn.
We put chef on the mark for doing Rosen Thorn.
And Rue's talked to him the whole time.
He got to see some negotiation happening with, hey, eat your dinner.
Yeah.
They're excited that chef's there.
Cookie started getting negotiated.
We're trying to get them to eat their dinner.
We get past dinner.
Hey, it's dance party time.
Not before we clean up the kitchen.
We do the dishes.
Chef and Roo are wiping down tables with the spray.
Okay.
Helping him out, kind of showing them the bells and whistles of how we operate.
Yeah, yeah.
And chef is immersed in all of it.
Then it's dance party.
We get the music that comes on in the house.
Kids are dancing.
I see chef's moves.
Chef very uncomfortably trying to enter the dance floor.
Okay.
They're trying to get him to dance.
And he's kind of hitting his like,
A little Trump action.
Yeah, a little Trump action
and just getting to the dance floor.
Okay.
And I'm laughing internally.
I'm like, let me get out there for him and show him.
All you got to do is mock what the kids are doing.
This is a low stakes dancing.
We're jumping up and down,
but Chef starts engaging and like he does the whole dance party.
Roo, instead of wanting to go to bed,
she's ready.
She's like, we got to play Sharon Sparkle Unicorns.
We got to play a board game.
Yeah, the board game set it up.
I think I'm going to play.
No.
She just wants her and Chef to play.
Uh-huh.
It's her and Chef versus the troll.
and Sharon Sparkle Unicorns.
By the way, great game.
We've mentioned it before for the kit, the dad kit,
dad hack, get Sharon Sparkle Unicorns.
I'm videoing because I'm sending it to the boys
keeping them updated on how Chef is performing.
They lose game one of Share Sparkle Unicorns.
Rue's trying to tell them that it's okay.
It happens.
Roo's got to play again.
They got to play to where they beat the troll.
It's around like 715, 720, 7.
7.30 at this point.
Late night.
I'm observing.
because I'm seeing like, I've seen him check his phone a couple times.
He's being the most respectful as possible.
But I know he's also in the middle of working or finishing stuff up.
Yeah.
Right when he checks his phone and he was grabbing.
Hey, chef, watch me, watch me.
We got to play four corners.
We got to do this.
We got to do that.
So I know chef has been immersed the entire time for a good two hours.
Yeah.
And so I'm looking at him when she's like, we got to play again.
Oh, you got to play a second game.
And I'm kind of side eye and seeing like where his mental is at.
Like, fuck, we got to play another game.
I thought maybe I'll get to go home.
I don't know if I'm assuming that correctly.
But like, oh, chef, you got to play another game.
Deke hits the chat and it's like, I can't wait.
As I'm keeping everybody updated on how he's been doing and sending photos at dinner,
dance party, him playing sharing Sparkle Unicorns.
They lost.
Deeks like, I don't want to get ahead of myself.
I can't wait for story time.
And I'm thinking, okay, yeah, I'll offer up if he's still in the mood for doing story time.
Yeah, yeah.
They win game two, Sheriff Sparkle Unicorns.
All good.
Oh, they did.
Get the milks.
We're going upstairs.
I just say to chef.
I don't know if you have a story planned.
There's no expectation for you to stay any longer.
He's like, oh, I have a story.
I can do story time.
I'm like, all right, we'll say less.
Let's go upstairs.
We go and sit down and we got to go back to the playroom
because Rue left a stuffed animal or something back there.
Of course.
We go back there, Rue showing him around like what goes down in the playroom,
everything else.
Playroom's a mess.
We go back in bed.
chef kicks off story time.
He had a whole story planned out.
Said he didn't listen to music on the drive home.
Nothing. All he thought about was how he could deliver a story for Roo.
Based on the experiences now of sharing last week's episode of you can get into a horror film pretty quickly on story time unless you have something prepped.
So he's got all of his angles prep.
He starts, mom comes in the room.
Says Rue, did you clean up the playroom?
I know she did because we went back there.
Dad didn't check Rue.
I'm thinking, all right, we'll just kind of clean up the playroom tomorrow.
I'm trying to get away with one.
Yeah, yeah.
Fortunately, dad's the dad thing didn't come up.
Rood and throw an old man under the bus.
Good, good, good.
Tell chef, looks over chef, hey, I got to go clean up the playroom.
Like, Dad, Eddie, you want to come help me?
So I tell chef to pause his story.
Chef's got to sit through all we go back and clean up the playroom.
He's helping clean up.
You guys want me to help.
I was like, no, you stay there.
Keep prepping mentally for your story time.
Because the scene is set.
Yeah.
And he gets in the story time.
tells about a 15 minute story.
It was good.
I can tell Rue liked it.
Yeah.
But Rue didn't have very many questions afterwards.
She wanted Shiff to read another story.
She wants to have to go on to another story.
There was this monkey named Murf.
So, chef's thinking on his feet,
that I tell you that Murf the monkey also race NASCAR,
gets into another story with Rue and kind of just comes up with something.
Rue asks him a couple different questions.
One, when the good witch turned bad, why did she turn bad?
Yeah, yeah.
Chef had his point that all the kids, when she was growing up,
her friends were saying mean stuff to her and that just made her mad.
Rue has a follow up.
What were they saying to her?
Lairs.
Layers.
Yeah, chef didn't have some go-toes.
He didn't have some 3D chess or level 3.
Yeah, yeah.
So I forget what he said, but I'm in the point in the story where I'm starting to laugh because I'm filming the story.
Chef crushed it, did bedtime, helped do bedtime.
I lay with Rue after.
Rue wants me to read a story.
Not your chef just told you 20 minutes worth of stories.
And so I lay there through.
I allow chef, I'm like, hey, you can go, you know where the door is.
I'll stay up here.
Dude, you're the man.
He crushed it, A plus.
Can we in this moment, if we can mark down for Maddie O on the time code,
can we run a little chef story time?
Just for the people at home to see, is that okay?
That's okay.
I just think you're going to have to fast.
track the story a little bit and get to the main points.
Yeah, maybe just like...
I don't want people to get bored with the story.
Maybe just like 10 seconds of him doing it
because just the visual of him in that chair
with lamp on and covers up to Rue's nose
is electric.
Like, Deke and I, knowing chef and knowing you,
is that much funnier.
But for that to play as well as it did online,
made me so happy because I was giggling.
It was funny.
Hard.
He was trying to get away with not doing the witch voice.
I'm like, hey, you got to do.
You got to do the voice.
Do you have the witch voice on video?
Yeah.
Okay, that's what we play.
Is that how she sounds?
Or what's the evil?
You guys are, I'm going to curse this lake.
And then she cursed the lake.
Extremely close to our dog story from Halloween last year from listeners.
He's got the same voice anytime he does a voice.
I love his voice, too, because he's.
is like a different deeper or higher pitch iteration of like the when he did the movie producer
one time and I was like oh that kind of sounded like the bat he goes higher p.
He's got the bat.
He does that for every voice.
Yeah, yeah.
Goes higher pitch and slightly changes his accent, but that's basically it.
That was the witch voice.
I'm a witchy.
And it's a good voice.
It's a good voice.
Solid voice.
Strong voice.
Chef, we love you, by the way.
I hope you know this is a celebration of chef.
Yeah, chef crushed it.
Oh, that makes me happy.
We have Jonathan Vea on Spotify said,
Hey, the world is your changing table, boys.
That is a follow up to my incredible dad act of,
if your kid hates the changing table, just put them on the floor,
and just change them on the floor.
Just change them on the floor.
And they love it.
The world is our changing table.
Managing table.
Dude,
Naky Baby, by the way,
like right out the bath
and we take Scarlett into a room
and we just set her bundled up
in the towel down on the ground
and we let her unravel herself
and just start going.
That might be some of my favorite
like five minutes of my day.
Like each day when she's going around
is all excited after her bath.
That's a dad hack, dude.
Just let him run.
You want an iteration to throw in
for the fun?
Please.
the dryer, you got to enter the dryer when you wrap them up in a towel.
So when you wrap them in a towel, Rue wants me to do and Rue is just so much bigger than Scotty.
Yeah.
But I got it's like shake Roo, but I put them in the dryer.
All the dryer is, I get them wrap because it's like they're cold coming out.
But it's like me going and kind of shaking them everywhere and drying them off.
Oh my God.
Added.
My dumb ass was like, why are you putting your kids in the dryer will?
Come on, man.
Huberman said
They can last three minutes in a dryer
This is why we do this
We do this every night
Okay
Here's where we challenge ourselves
Getting that dryer
When are you your most comfortable
Probably when you're sleeping right
So we're gonna shock the body
Right before we go in the rim
You're gonna tumble around
You're gonna be scared
You can't die
You can't die in a drive
And you can
So we just want to say that
We just want to say that.
Can't put kids in a dryer.
Yeah, can't put kids in a dryer for legal purposes.
Don't do that.
We have our last follow-up.
21 Jeremy Hubell says,
Will out here retelling the movie taken as a bedtime story.
I'm all for it.
Princess Rood doesn't know who you are,
but she will find you.
God,
what I think, as I'm telling those stories last week,
and when I was telling that,
that is just a horror film.
Oh, it was great.
I loved every bit of it.
I think all of us here on the side thing.
All of us.
All of us adults loved it.
All the parents listening to me fumble through.
Just a horror film of a story.
Not knowing where to go next.
He's sharpening a sword in the cabin with a little smoke coming out of the chimney.
That's just when you pan to the couple that's listening to us in the car and the dad's
introducing the wife's like,
Jesus.
You don't tell our kids that, dude.
Oh, no.
You guys are idiots.
That's why it's a good show.
You are so good for my husband because he gets to learn what not to do.
We are at the end of the day.
We're just kicking and screaming.
You do the opposite of what we say and you'll have success.
Yeah.
Should we get into Trey Kennedy?
Oh, well, before we go, once we spook over.
Always ask yourself.
what you're doing for this month.
What are you doing to embrace the spook?
Whether it's a nice little fall festivity on the weekends,
whether it's shopping at bwtb.com to get these onesies with spooktober.
We got a lot of fun merchandise.
You see this little football pumpkin hat up top.
We got a lot of fun stuff at bwtb.com,
a pop of team six spooktober team shirt.
Very spooky stuff on bwtb.com.
Yes.
You have the hat you're wearing, the hat I'm wearing, the shirt I'm wearing, the hoodie,
Deeks wearing, all on BWTV.
All on BWTB.com.
And our candles are our anti-monster candles, which these really do.
Fun little game with the kids.
These are anti-monster candles.
It's like a nice little like almost cinnamon.
There's two variations of it.
Really?
Yeah.
You can light it while you're doing story time.
Obviously, you got to blow it out before you leave the room,
but you just tell them the scent, everything going in.
into the room. That's what keeps the monsters out.
It worked for me. My brother did that
for me. You'd get aerosol deodorant.
And he said it was monster repellent.
You'd spray it in our closet and underneath the bed
before we'd go to bed.
Worked like a charm. He's like,
all right, now I've got to get your face.
Come here.
Open up.
I don't know. But rep the brand.
Subscribe.
Leave comments.
One last thing.
Okay.
I did say in that episode with Trey
that you would be grading my intro pretty hard.
I think that that could be a good follow up for next week.
Were you nervous?
Extremely.
Yeah.
Extremely.
I tried to lock in.
Yeah.
I want your grading as far as that goes.
Okay.
I got you.
Do you want to tell him real quick or do you want him to find out about the Trey?
So we had told you that Sherman Trey had met before.
Does that spoil it though for the episode?
I would think it does.
So once we hang up here, but guys, you'll all find out on this episode that Shirm had met T-T-S-Rae once before.
A young, a young S-T-Sixer, intoxicated Shirm.
So is this a moment you look back on and you're excited that it happened or you're embarrassed that it happened?
I stand by it.
I wasn't embarrassed to tell them about it.
It was like a very much, we laughed very hard of like, I can't believe.
better moments in life.
I stand by it.
I stand by it.
Oh, I can't wait.
And you get to see what that is in our interview with Trey.
Take out the trash.
P.T. Sickos, we interrupt this episode to bring you Roe.
The older one gets, the more it becomes clear that sex is about quality, not quantity.
The vibes have to be right.
That's why Rose Sparks stands out.
It helps ensure readiness when the moment.

And when both partners are having a good time, the experience is better for everyone.
Roe Sparks helps you get fuller, thicker erections, and they last up to 36 hours making it

Psy sickos, I'll give you one guess what's in my hands.
right now. Did you say Lucy? You were right. It is a Lucy breaker. And it is a mango
flavored 8 milligram Lucy breaker. I currently have two in my upper deck. Usually when we're
thrown in our Lucy's, I might go with the 12 milligram espresso. I do like the cinnamon flavor a lot,
too, as well as their mint flavor. But when I do go down to the 8 milligrams, I love these breakers
because they got a little breaker blast ball in the middle of them that you can bite down,
either right when you put the pouch in,
or you can save it like I do, have it tucked in right now in my upper lip,
bring it down to the teeth, crack that flavor ball,
and it gives you an extra flavor blast deep into its usage.
Lucy is the only pouch that delivers long-lasting, on-demand flavor.

PT Sicko's Stadium Pulse is rocking right now because, one,
I know Will Compton is going to be watching this
and he is big on the intros.
I'm hiding our guests for now
because I got to rip this intro
to make Will Compton proud.
Papa Team 6.
Welcome to another episode of For the Dads.
We hope your trash is taken out.
We hope your balls are empty.
We have a very special episode here for you today.
We have a couple shoutouts.
Make sure you guys are commenting below
in the YouTube, in the Instagram, Spotify,
the Amazon one. Anywhere where you get your podcast, leave a comment, it could be a shout
out, it could be a question, we read them on the show, we also have an email for you. 601
the dads at gmail.com. That's where you can write in longer stories. We will read those out
at the end of the episode. Maybe not this episode though, because I feel like we'll do a whole lot
of talking with our guest. We also have 601, the dads, our voicemail, where you can call in,
leave a voicemail. We'll listen to a couple of those.
But we have a very special guess. I'm very excited.
And I'm a little short of breath because it is the amazing, the wonderful,
Trey Kennedy. Wow. Wow. What an intro.
Wait, how many intros have you done? Is that my second one?
So that's pretty like every once in a whole bunce in, but that's your second one.
That's what I'm saying. Yeah. Second one ever. Nailed it. Nailed it. Thanks for having me. I'm here.
Dude, the head felt hot like halfway through it. I was like,
I'd know if I just get through the intro.
Everything will roll down the hill.
You really gas me up.
They pay on to me and they go, oh.
I was like Travis Kelsey or something.
But I'm here.
I look kind of like him.
If you squint.
And thanks for having me, fellas.
Yeah, I know.
You guys hit me up and you're like,
we won't be there.
Do you still want to come?
I go, guys, thank you yourself more highly of that.
Can you imagine?
I just leave you on scene.
I'm out.
There was a part of me when I said,
because we talked and they have their ESPN show.
And I was like,
oh man, like there's a chance we got to reschedule.
And Will was just like, give him the option.
Like he's, he's a podcaster.
He's a comedian.
He gets it.
And when I sent that DM, I like regretted it.
I was like, if he says, no, dude, we're not cool and this sucks.
It is a risk.
No, but it is courteous of you.
But no, I wouldn't do that.
I wouldn't.
I'm glad to be here.
Now I'm, I'm in a spot.
Let's go.
Where would I've sat if he was here?
You would still be there.
Okay.
Will, uh, I'd be right here.
Or switch that.
We switch that for Will's posture.
That is, that is.
Yes.
Yes.
a little too locked into the guest. So we've
had them worked out to the outside.
Gotcha. But third time
we've had a guess, first time
we've had someone outside
of football. Wow. We have a
comedian. Can you play in the NFL? I am outside of
football for sure. So
I played a couple downs in seventh grade.
But I, yeah,
not haven't touched the NFL. So glad
to be here. And did you talk
any poke talk with Coop?
He is a fellow poke.
I am a huge poke.
I haven't talked with him about it, but I
were fired up because we're back.
That's what it's looking like.
Yeah. Oklahoma State,
we'd lost 21 straight FBS games.
Just the low is the low.
And then we lost game one of the season.
Oh, me and the buddy, we're just in the group text.
Like, what have we done?
We thought we were going to be back.
This guy stinks.
So, you know, that's what you do as a football fan.
You just get rid of them.
I was sending like Drew Mestamaker memes as J.J.
McCarthy.
you know, he's like AI
just like number nine.
I'm like, get this guy out of here.
And now I'm like,
now I'm his biggest fan ever.
I go, oh, this guy might be drafted number one one day.
Best makers of God, absolute cinema.
I'm sorry, I take it back.
No, it's exciting to finally be a pokey.
Gunny got us a lot of good years,
but it's new era.
Morris time.
Trey, I have a couple things to dive in with you
on a personal level before we get into the episode.
Okay.
I want to start with an apology.
That's something I do a lot on this show.
Okay.
Good dad.
That is a dad hack.
That might be our first dad hack of the show.
Trey,
do you remember being at a Baylor game in Waco
and a lot of people getting really upset
that you were in the student section
and they started chanting, kick him out, kick him out.
No way.
Have we met before?
Like from afar?
That's so funny.
Nobody knew this.
What?
I haven't told anyone
here that story.
Me and my buddies
there's a year
we went to every away game
in college
so we're down in Waco
and we were
so we were with some Baylor
one of my buddies
good friends from high school
went to Baylor
so we're with her
and her crew
in y'all student section
and we were removed
by security
because y'all made
such a fuss
and did you lead the charge
or can you probably
say you're the leader of that?
I wasn't the leader
but I was early.
You were a follower.
I was early.
Well, I will say, do you remember, I was with one of my buddies who's like a particularly
loud, annoying person. Do you remember him? Don't remember him. Okay. But you remember you go,
wait. That's a vine guy. Get it out of there. It truly, for my perspective, it was, I see
orange in the student section. Which is, to your credit. I mean, I'm ripping the guys head off
of fees in, in Baylor Green in my student section.
sure. Yeah. And so, to your credit. So stuff is, I mean, everybody's K-K-K-K-K-K-K-M-out. To your defense,
you were being such a gentleman about it. Thank goodness. Let's go. You were not fighting anybody.
Security came down and talked to you and you pretty much looked like you were like, I'm ready to kind of get out of here.
Can I please walk out of here? It was getting bad. What my buddy was getting fired up and yelling at y'all.
And I, because I get it, though. I go, dude, we're in their student section. We can't.
we're just going to fight someone instantly if we're going to be like a hole.
So I was like,
we need to remove ourselves.
And I don't even remember the,
was that when y'all were good?
That was when we were good.
Yeah.
So it was a good game.
It was a good game.
Did we get the dub?
I think y'all did.
Yeah,
I think you did.
And I think that that is just how it works in the world of karma.
It wasn't until,
it wasn't until you're walking out there.
Everybody was like,
that's the vine guy.
That's the vine guy.
Yeah.
The vine guy thing.
college like it worked against me more than for me for sure you know having having millions of
followers now is pretty cool but in 2014 it was a little less cool it i will always think that
it's cool because vine was like where i started to actually post fun creative stuff like that was
my okay you're posting point of hey i i like this i like tooling around on the internet a little bit
So a lot of your early stuff, I loved.
Sick.
A lot of your stuff on Vine, I'd like, whatever that app was that let you go back on Vine.
Oh, yeah.
That you could like pull up old dead links.
That's finally done.
I know.
Sadly.
I know.
I got kind of glad because some of my stuff was, but that's wild that you.
We cross paths on that way.
We had a great time on Waco.
Okay, good.
Great time.
I feel bad about it.
And I called our mutual friend Scott Caldwell.
and I told them that story
was like I have a little bit of
history with Trey
I want to make sure I get that
knocked out at the very beginning
I don't want that to affect the podcast
That somehow comes to me
when I see you face to face
I just leave.
I'm furious, yeah.
You're the guy.
You're the guy.
We had a great time in Waco.
Yeah, we've been every big,
the former big 12 campus
but Waco Treat as well.
Learning curve, dry campus.
Yeah, dry campus.
Need to figure that out.
They're fixing a lot.
Shout out our new AD, Doug McNamee.
He's getting a lot of stuff taken care of with the tailgate scene.
So that is getting, that's getting fixed.
It was the first couple of years of the stadium.
It was a beautiful stadium.
Thank you.
Thank you.
Wait a nice time.
And another connection there, Will Compton, for anyone at home, Will might hate me for saying
this. Will Compton, very big on Vine.
Were you all aware of this?
Yeah, yeah, a little bit.
What was he doing?
Some awesome skits and sketches, like very similar to what you were.
doing.
But while he was at Nebraska, wearing Nebraska stuff.
So y'all would have bonded over that tremendously.
Yeah.
And then last thing I wanted to get out of the way, shout out Jake Triplett.
Wow.
Yeah, everyone knows that guy.
How do you know him?
I went on a road trip from Big Bend National Park all the way to Chicago with Jake,
where we drove in my Tahoe with one other guy.
And we had an air mattress in the back of the Tahoe.
And we would switch passenger to keep driver awake.
and then someone's sleeping in the back.
That's the best.
I've done that before.
And we just rotated.
Yeah.
How'd you know?
Did you meet him there?
That sounds like you.
Met met him truly, I think, a week before we went on the trip.
Yeah.
Which sounds very Jake Tripp.
Very Jake triplet.
Everyone knows Jake Tripplet.
Shout out Jake.
Shout out.
He's a pickleball guy now.
I know.
He's a pickleball content.
He worked with me for me for me for years.
Sad to see him go.
But I knew he'd do his own thing.
But yeah, he knows everyone.
Now he knows people in Asia.
I don't know what he's doing, but he's a dad now.
He's, oh, I did not know that.
Yeah, yeah.
Shout out Jake Triple.
Yeah, so come on.
And he worked with you on correct opinion for a while.
He started as my videographer.
Okay.
In 2018.
And it evolved to, you know, helping me shooting at it,
helped me to write stuff, kind of being in stuff.
Then it evolved to my podcast co-hosts for years.
Kind of, yeah, sounds like a lot like you.
do some of these guys up in here. It just he kind of kept elevating and then we we did like a golf channel
together for a bit. He's hilarious dude. And yeah. So now he's, I knew he always would, but he's doing
his own thing now. That's the one thing that I just from doing research, but also knowing you on
the internet from Vine, I feel like you touch so many different things. I know it's like we're old,
man. I feel like an OG. I've been like making viral videos for like 12, 13 years. That's the constant though.
That's crazy. That's the constant. Through.
everything that you've touched, the viral videos have always been there. Thank goodness. I know.
I can't believe this is the job. I don't know if you all feel this. I bet you do. Everyone in this
line of work feels that you go, this is one week we're going to pull up the report. It's like no one
listened. Yeah, you just feel that, right? It doesn't make sense. I just announced new tour dates and I go,
there's zero tickets, I bet. Zero. And then you get the report. You go, hey, we're still doing it.
Yes. It's always this fear because it's too to be true. Yes. And we just took trade through our warehouse and we're
showing them the haunted house that my boss gave me way too big of a budget to put up a haunted
house in. And we sit here every single day and we work. And now there in Lincoln, Nebraska,
doing an ESPN show where like thousands of Husker fans are like there to see Will Compton.
And you forget about that when you're just in this little warehouse every single day.
It's a, I mean, if there's, there was no other reality I would have encountered than what I did.
When I pulled up, nine white guys came out and greeted me.
And then they walked me through a garage.
And I go, yes.
If there was anything different, I wouldn't disappoint.
I'll just scale one to dude vibes.
How much are the dude vibes here?
Off the charts.
11.
It's awesome.
We have a show titled The Locker Room.
A show titled for the dads and a show titled Bustin with the boys.
As I say, what's crazier is that Coop and I were about three minutes away from going outside to throw a football before you got here.
That's too.
That's too on the nose.
Yeah, we just do it.
But I was like,
we can't just do that.
She's arm wrestling.
What's up, man?
Come on in.
What?
Yeah.
So to get into our first dad question,
as a co-host on a dad podcast,
you're now doing correct opinion with your wife Katie, correct?
That's right.
Yeah.
So my podcast has really evolved.
So now it's me and my wife, Katie.
It's,
we miss Jake dearly,
but it's definitely evolved into a pretty,
pretty good parenting vibe.
because we're in it.
One thing about this show is we jokingly, Will and I will say this is our escape from our wives,
where we often get the information wrong every single time.
Of course.
We get to hear about it later.
That's called our AfterPod Report, APR.
That's not on the cheat sheet that I provided you.
I'll write a time.
I'm sorry.
APR.
There's a couple on here.
I can't wait to figure out more.
What is the stress?
What is the stadium pulse like?
doing a dad podcast, a husband podcast with your wife across from you on the mic.
Oh, we fight throughout the episode.
The one we did the other day, like she was furious.
And then like in, she was like, I was like legit mind at you during that.
And I go, yeah, I know.
I'm sorry.
And yeah.
So you, but it's not.
And I joke too.
It's like some of the only like concentrated times we speak anyway.
It's like we're so busy with three little kids.
I'm like, it's kind of nice.
We had a time to talk.
And, uh, yeah, we're, we're like that.
We just, we're blunt with each other.
We just have it out.
So, yeah, sometimes I, I just make fun of her too much.
She's like, you need to shut up.
But, uh, no, I like, uh, I like the, I like to give takes on what mom should do, too.
And we should do that because we love that.
And yeah.
And we know.
Welcome to the show, sir.
Welcome to the show.
Okay.
I'm ready.
They love our advice.
Yeah.
They scream for it in the comments.
Yep.
I believe it.
The, so you just mentioned a dad hack there, though.
that actually is so sick that you get some alone time with the wifey, even if it is via a podcast.
100%. It is nice. And it's really, it is a fun, fun thing because my podcast was me and Jake,
fellow comedian, just kind of dudes being funny and just trying to talk about whatever. And then
my wife would join every now and then is like a cute thing. But then the fans liked it. And then
it evolved to Jake. Leave it. Now it's me and her. And it's, we weren't a good flow now.
You know, it was a tough transition, you know, like with anything, just like people miss Jake.
And now this is more of my wife. But she's done a great job. And it's cool to, it's been really special to have that thing together as husband and wife.
Yeah.
Because she stayed at home mom. She's in it. She could feel it's cool to watch her kind of, you know, she's DM me stuff. Like, we could talk about this on the pot. You know, it's cute. It's fun. And she's. And then of course, now everyone likes, the comments are filled with women just like taking her side. And I'm like, now I'm. Now I'm.
I've got nothing, but happy for her.
That's what it's all about.
I was checking the comments on two of your latest episodes.
Yeah, bro.
There's like, do they even like me?
Katie, couldn't agree more.
Oh my gosh, Katie's so right.
Try to stop interrupting.
God, I'm going to stop listening.
You know, oh.
You need to take it easy.
Yeah.

Is there an epidemic against literature? More specifically,
Black literature. Our books are being banned, scanned by AI, and destroyed. I'm Jack Queese
Peace Thomas, and on this season of the Black Lit podcast, we're outside asking some of the
custodians of our stories, teachers, and our modern day writers. Why? They don't want a whole bunch
of little Ella Baker's, Michael Maxes and Martin Luther King's running around. They want to build
children who have no empathy. That's really the ultimate goal. We want books that don't make white kids
feel bad. So is the war on literacy and information or our ability to connect?
You want people to know how sexy reading is and how fun they could be and not always associated
with education. It could be an escape. It could be entertainment. And that is the beauty of
reading. It can be all of those things. And considering this is Black Reading Month,
the only real question is, what are you reading next? Listen to Black Lit from the Black Effect
podcast network on our iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcast.
Whether you're stepping up to the starting line of a marathon or just trying to take the
first step toward a big, scary goal, the conversation in your head is usually the same.
Do I have what it takes?
I'm Emily Abadi, and on hurdle with Emily Abadi, we dive into the grit, vulnerability,
and mindset that fuels our greatest comebacks.
I talk to elite athletes, Olympic champions, industry change makers, and everyday runners,
about how they face self-doubt, redefine success,
and keep moving forward when life gets heavy.
I'd just love to say, I never know who's watching.
So you want to make sure you, you through and through,
and you just stay true to who you are.
Yeah, your path might change because different things come on your path to disrupt it,
but it's just putting you on a new path,
and the skills you have to have faith at the skills that you've learned
and developed over time are going to continue to bring you success.
When the world is burning and crashing around you,
will you still say fight for your dream?
Will you still say it's possible?
Will you still believe you're a good person?
Can you still see the brighter side of tomorrow?
It's motivation, real talk, and practical wisdom for life on and off the run.

I've spent my career on the executive side of this industry, multi-platinum songs, building artists, and building business.
And alongside my brother, Tank, the superstar R&B singer, songwriter, and producer, we've created
something special, the R&B Money Podcast.
This is not just a podcast.
It's a safe space where artists, executives,
and fans of R&B music come to reminisce.
Pull back the curtain and tell the stories
that shape this culture.
The real history behind the hits.
That was Hood famous.
And then Real Love came out and it blew up.
We lived in a project.
And they're seeing all the success.
They're hearing the music and we had nothing.
We're covering the entire spectrum from Smokey Robinson,
Alicia Keys, B2K,
Mary J. Bloss.
legends, current stars, and everyone who's contributed to the sound of R&B.

I didn't put her in her play.
Hey,
I've been doing this for a decade.
What do you know?
Yeah.
No.
That's a,
that's a gong rip,
by the way.
That would be a gonger.
Go,
go for it.
Oh,
that was soft.
I needed to do that better.
Well done.
Well done.
Gong rip.
Um,
okay,
on,
on you and your wife,
Katie,
um,
just doing some research on you guys.
You are a father of three.
Three now.
But you are a father of three.
of three under three, which means you had to do two under two before that.
Yes, sir.
That is a common, comment, question, need advice.
Please help.
Oh, God, what do we do from our listeners?
Like the people who have 2002?
Yeah.
Okay, okay.
Will, for, Will was like on the very tail end of 2002.
So he has some good notes there.
It doesn't count.
That's the big thing about us 2002ers.
Hey, you better, hey, there's no almost.
Okay.
you got to be there. You're in or out. Yeah, yeah, yeah. What about the 3003 years? Yeah, it's like,
well, you know, I almost made it to the league, but, you know, practice squad. No, you're in or out.
Okay. I'm 2002. Sounds like he's not. So if you ever have advice on it, that's wrong. I have
18 months apart, 200 18 months. Oh, Trey. And we did that on purpose. That's what people's first
question, right? They go, yeah, yeah, yeah. We did that. It was the plane. Oh, my gosh. Yeah,
it is nuts. It's nuts. Because you have one, right? I have one. She's a,
year and three months.
Are y'all trying to crank one out soon or you don't know?
I don't know.
Good question.
And we'll leave it at that.
We'll leave it at that for the listeners.
But we do want two or three.
We do want two or three.
Awesome.
And we're loving where Scarlet's at, but also the idea of having a fresh new little biscuit is daunting.
It is daunting.
It's crazy.
It makes the interstellar video that you made.
where you're looking through the bookcase.
Yeah.
The younger you being like,
dude,
I can't believe he's not going out with this
because of his kid.
Oh,
yeah,
yeah,
I'm reflecting back on like,
if you could take back
what you used to say
when you had one
or before you had kids.
Uh-huh.
I had,
every dad's been there,
every parent.
I said some crazy stuff before.
I was like,
I can't,
I genuinely was like,
it can't be that.
These people,
you don't sleep,
like,
give me a break.
I was saying all these things.
Why wouldn't he sleep?
I don't get that.
Yeah, I'm like, oh, he doesn't eat, like, make him eat.
Like, I don't care.
You make him eat what you want him to eat.
Like, I said all these things I really meant it.
It's so humbling, man.
If you want to get stabbed in the face, I think that might be the perfect thing to say to Will Compton is you just make him.
I don't understand why they're not eating.
It's been 10 episodes in a row now that I feel like, picky one.
Picky one, dude.
The picky ones will break you, dude.
My boy, I've done some, like, you talk about Dad Hack saying sorry.
you know, a couple like,
bore a lot.
I just said my son out of me like,
I really got to apologize for that.
Because I did some like,
you're gonna,
you just won't eat.
And he just,
he won.
Like he was like,
he was,
he went so long without eating.
He was starting to get like,
lethargic.
You know what I mean?
You know what I mean?
I was like,
sad, sad.
I'm like,
this is what you're hungry.
This is the option.
You're hungry.
You're hungry.
Because some people swear by that.
And it just,
it depends on the kid.
And after like missing three meals,
I feel like he went from crying to just kind of tired.
I go,
Oh my goodness.
Dude, am I like, is this legal?
And I was like, whatever you want, dude.
I've never done that again.
I'm like, sorry.
That's what's about the firstborn.
You make a lot of mistakes with the first boy.
Well, and with a boy too.
You know,
with a boy.
I would do that to my daughter.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
I told me like that recently where I was like,
you don't know this,
but in my head,
when I tell Eva, my little girl,
I'm like, Eva, we don't,
don't hit your brother say sorry.
When I do that, in my head,
I'm like so proud of myself.
Like I so don't want to get on her.
My son, I'll just like, for any reason, it's so true.
My daughter, I'm like, I can't believe I just reprimated my daughter.
Like, I'm an amazing dad.
And with your boy, you're probably like, oh, it's funny.
You look like you're starving, but you said you weren't hungry.
So I don't know.
But you look like you're about to fall asleep at the table.
Yeah, dude.
It happens so quick.
I'll never forget this.
You get the two month old shots, right?
Really sad.
And the two month old shots and they put a little bayonade on it.
my son, two months old, he had those band-aids on, I just rip him off.
He's fine.
My daughter, I got soapy water and I painstakingly took.
You okay, princess?
Yeah, and it hit me right then.
I go, oh, man, I was so cruel to my son.
He's fine.
You have a great look into both being a boy dad and being a girl dad,
which we do not have good representation on the show of boy dads currently.
It's, yeah, I've made a lot of content about it that's resonated because the people have both.
It is a shocking difference in the, at least the toddler phase.
That's all I know.
But it's a crazy difference for girls.
The only image I've really seen of like boy dad type energy is going into our daycare.
Scarlett goes to a daycare like five days a week.
He's hanging from the ceiling somehow.
And Will warn me, of course.
I mean, that's what this podcast is.
is like Will warns me.
It then comes true nine times out 10.
All the boys are just like running around her class with like eight dinosaurs in their hand just going.
And in the corner there's a library.
And this is not for content.
This is a true story.
There is a library in the corner with three fuzzy chairs.
All three other girls are in the class just sitting in the chairs.
Scarlett's wanting to walk over to the library to go join the girls over there.
And it's holding Dadda's hand as all the boys are run around in a circle.
Real. Real. Yeah, we, when my boy, we do a like a couple day a week, day carry, mother's day out thing. And my little girl just started going. She goes in the morning. And my son will go the full day now because he's, he's three, three and a half. She's just turned two. That's how we're doing things. So my daughter gets home. And when there's like a few hours where it's just her and not my son and you're like, I'm like, it feels like I could breathe again. You're just like, she's in my lap. Daddy read book. Yeah, it's the whole thing.
and then my son gets home. He's like, and then he reps her up and the wrestling and which is so cute and fun. But yeah, it's, but then you hear, well, we one day we'll be talking. I hear everyone says it flips, right? Then you got the teen boy hardly speaks to you and the teen girls starts going through it. So, but as far as the little kid stage, there are a lot more energy, a lot more work, but they're both the best. They're fun. Are you so glad that the first born was a boy and then you have the girl that she has a big brother? Yes. I hear that a lot.
lot. I hear it's like, because my sister's got girl boy. And at least at this age, I think it's
easier because she, my daughter does pretty good job keeping up with him and they're having
fun versus my sister, her daughter or like her daughter's staying away from her little brother.
Because a little brother's kind of, he's like one and a half trying to climb on her. And she's just
like, what are we? Yeah. And so they're not playing like mine play together. So there's a little bit of
that where he he can coax her and do it more. But, uh, I mean, I'm just, I'm just glad to have,
I always say, you know, whatever gender we get, I was glad.
with, but pretty grateful to have both.
Yeah. And then congratulations.
Your son that was just born in August?
Yeah, man. Let's see you guys do your research around here.
You have Wi-Fi in this garage.
We do.
Sherma's at the hospital booing you there, too.
Just in case you're getting out of here.
Get them out of here. Get them out.
All these Oklahoma State guys.
He's a little boy, three months old.
That's crazy.
So, yeah, 300-3-ish.
Is it true that it gets?
I'm not in around.
I'm not in the 3003 club.
I'm 3 under 3 in 3 months or something.
Okay.
Okay.
So we didn't go that.
And before I ask this, don't strangle me because I'm not the one saying.
Okay.
But people are saying that it does get easier in the infant stage,
the more times you go through the infant stage.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Agreed?
Yes, yes.
agree, but then it's, because I don't know if you've heard this a lot when you have the baby,
people go, they'll throw at you like, oh, the newborn, I'd do anything to do the newborn again.
That's nothing.
Uh-huh.
Or they're like, wait until these three.
And you're going, there's no way.
There's no way.
And then there is a way that we have a newborn now.
You're like this, we used to have one of these and we were, of course you are because it's
terrifying.
You know what you're doing.
But no, the third baby, he's the least of my worries.
My three-year-old are like way more work.
nuts. Last night, all three of my kids woke up twice. Yes. Okay. So I woke up at 1, 2.34, 5, 6.
Good. That's good. That's good. Yeah. And I love my, it's funny. That's one thing you learn about
your marriage too. You learn a lot. My spouse, some days I wake up. And it's to my surprise,
she got up with the kids that I want to let you sleep this morning. That was not, I was up with,
been up with my son for hours. Of course, he's sick. They're sick every day. And then she hands me,
she goes, baby Miles, maybe Miles like to be up. And she's turns and goes,
back on the bed. And I go, I guess she's going, okay, good I right? And so I'm just going to war with three
kids for breakfast while she slept in, but she deserves it. She knew I was coming to,
he was coming to hang on a garage. She was parenting all day. So I'll let her have.
For sure. And you love your wife. Of course. Of course. I really do. And she, yeah, you just,
there's days. She goes, he needs some sleep and vice versa. It's a team. It's a team one. It's a team thing.
as far as I was going to say we've asked this to most of the guests obviously germ one daughter
will two daughters you have two sons what did you do differently to acquire the sons because
will's not here to ask question and will wants the Compton storyline to stand for the test of time so
what would you recommend he tries um it's is uh you know I don't know what you guys call it on
this podcast I called a shockwave oh are you serious you actually call it
that? No, my wife calls it that.
Yeah. She's always like shockwave me and I go, why are you saying it like that?
She's crazy.
Dude, I don't, I don't, I wish there's an answer to that. But the, I was grateful. I really wanted both.
So I'm grateful to have both. And the third, I don't know, we might not be done, fellas. So I don't know.
That's seriously. Yeah, that's that kind of, we'll see.
That was going to be a question later on. Uh, two, these are two different tips.
Just anybody that's a listener of trade,
this is your first time on the show for the dads
that we've talked about
a post-shockwave handstand
has been just a tip that has been thrown out there.
Both.
You have to do it together.
In solidarity.
That was a great question.
In solidarity, great answer.
And then we have also heard from Golden Tate, I believe.
It's two to the left, two to the right.
How many boys does he have?
He has all voice, I believe.
And am maintaining eye contact.
Oh, okay.
That seems like a woman trap, though.
We're not sure about that one yet.
Interesting.
Yes.
Further research to be done.
Further research to be done.
For the research to be done.
Yeah, let us know.
Unfortunately, I don't know what data I have, but.
Yeah, drop your tips in the comments too, listeners.
You know, if you have any tips, please.
Pt. Sickos, we need to know.
The curse does need to be broken.
that actually does need to be talked about.
All girls at this office.
Okay, okay, you have...
Okay, these guys.
They have any on this side.
These guys, they can't even drive.
They Uber here.
How many, you have one girl?
No, I just got married literally last weekend.
Oh, okay.
And so, this is my first week back in the office.
And so we are...
A wife.
Got a wife.
Yes.
Taylor with...
How are your wives come to this studio?
Great question.
Yeah.
Yeah, I was just saying, well,
yeah like not really
yeah
no duh
yeah
let's go visit daddy
in the office
they're like let's just wait till
these hell
this smells in here
most of them see this
and get scared
of just like the general
dude
I love it
yeah
it is very hilarious
that yeah
you guys
you got all girls
so far
it's crazy
we did hold
a seance
on the pod
a couple months ago
to try and ward
the spirits
almost a year
does Will want more
will want
a boy
really really really
bad, Trey. Is he, is he the type of guy? He goes, listen, I would have had two kids, but I got to keep
trying. Is he kind of like that? I, am I speaking out? I believe he's been open to the idea of a
larger family with the main North Star being boy, boy, boy. Yeah. Is how I'll word it. And I,
and I would say wifie Charo also who's listening currently, I don't want to put words in her
mouth either. That, yeah, that's, boy is the goal. Man, is there going to be like a big
gender reveal for that time comes? That'd be a big live stream event, I bet. You got to do that.
You've ever seen the Gordon Hayward video?
No.
You know, he, because he had, I think, two girls and they're doing ginor reel for the third.
They pop it pink.
And he kind of sulks over there.
It's a hilarious viral video from a couple years ago.
And then his wife goes, is daddy happy?
And he goes, Daddy's always happy.
It's an amazing video.
Oh, my God.
I love it is Gordon Hayward does not seem happy with their gender reveal.
He's like, he's like a cartoon character like kicking the ground.
Daddy's always happy.
Oh, no.
Dude, not having a boy, because I, of course, I want to both.
But if you're a professional athlete, you got to have a boy.
That's it's different.
You know, for me, I'm like, I don't, girls is chill.
But if I was in the NFL or NBA, you got to, that'd be like dream come true.
I got to get this.
I'm raised my son up.
Yeah.
It opens up the being just a girl dad.
It has opened my mind up of other sports that I would otherwise never think of.
I was not.
I played Pee We baseball, but I wasn't like, oh,
man, baseball player.
And now Scarlett,
her mom was very talented softball player.
Got some jeans.
Got some jeans.
I'm like,
okay,
maybe softball,
maybe some volleyball,
maybe some soccer.
I'm rooting for volleyball hard
with my daughter.
I think it'd be so fun.
Volleyball would be fun.
Yeah,
man.
I love playing volleyball.
I like it.
I could see myself,
you know,
posting up the volleyball tournaments,
but we'll see.
I don't know.
She,
I don't know if she's showing signs.
And I know I got to be,
I got to be realistic.
You know,
maybe we'll do some theater.
and you got to follow the family tree.
I was about to say what's in the jeans.
And the, I mean, the best we got in the jeans is more in the arts than the sports, you know, obviously.
So I have to, I was a fine athlete.
I think we could have some success up into maybe the high school level.
But, you know, well, there's a higher ceiling over there in theater.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
I think the only selfish one that I would really love is golf because you just get so much quiet time out there.
It's you're averaging like four to six hours.
for a full round and just being able to,
if Scarlett was like truly invested in it,
like getting to pour it into her
and pour into something that she is super passionate about.
Yeah.
That gets me excited.
100%.
Yeah, it's like, who knows, man?
I was dreaming up the other day.
I was shooting hoops.
I grew up playing basketball.
That was my sport.
So I love taking kids outside and shooting on her like driveway.
And, you know, my kids like hold him up.
But my oldest, he's not very interested in it.
My daughter likes it a little more.
and I dreamed of like, man, I got two boys.
I'll be out here like shooting hoops with my boys one day.
But then it's like, you know, they'll be like,
we don't want to, father.
We want to dance.
And then you're like, oh, right.
And then dance.
Do some dancing.
You're better at dancing.
You are.
I'm sure, you know, that'll be great.
Well, we, we have some dad losses.
We have some shoutouts and we have some dad hacks.
Yeah, coach me up.
What are we doing?
I will actually put the ball in your court.
No pun intended.
Fun.
You know, let's start with.
What sounds like the worst here.
We'll go up from here.
Dad lost.
Let's start with the bad news.
Dad loss.
This is a comment from Jeff and Jeff Antosh.
I'm saying that right.
Went to get some yogurt melts for the baby, which is on the top shelf in our pantry.
What also was on the top shelf of our pantry is our container of flour for some reason.
Our entire container of flowers on the ground.
The baby is crying.
All caps good.
Is that the jocco?
So, yeah, good.
You got to have that mindset as a dad.
That has been adopted by this podcast in a big way.
You'll probably see way more goods in the comments.
There's three good emojis on the bottom of that comment from the Discord as well.
So everyone just good in it up.
Good.
Good.
That's a big shift.
When you have the first kid, that stuff really ruins your morning.
And now you shake it off quick once you get in it.
You know, they drop some on the ground just last night.
I go, you have a few chocolate chips.
that some of a treat, get this little bag.
Somehow, my daughter spilled it all over the floor.
And then we had like a five-minute fiasco where we're trying to clean it up as my children are sneaking handfuls and grabbing them.
And then we're punishing them.
And then help us clean it up and they're stealing.
Yeah.
And you just laugh it off.
You laugh it off good.
Good.
And I feel like that that's the one thing that I am learning time management wise of I'm waking up way earlier in the morning to leave room for that exact type of thing.
Like, and Scarlett the bottle, go into the kitchen and make sure to pack up the rest of her stuff.
I then come back.
Bottle is upside down the couch and it's spilled everywhere.
Okay, now I need to make sure Scarlet gets another bottle.
I need to make sure she drinks it.
Adjust.
I need to get to work on time as well, though.
That's pretty high up on the list.
So the earlier that I wake up, the better chance that mistakes will happen, but I have some coverage.
Smart. You got to adjust. You got to have a game plan. It's something. It's something I've been working on something that is going pretty good. Yeah. When are you waking up? When's your girl waking up? Oh, she is like 5 o'clock. She's been doing yoga in the mornings. She's also a registered nurse. So 5 a.m. wake up call. That's pretty regular for her. Good for her. I'm 6.30 right now. And your daughter's after all that.
daughter, yeah, daughter's after all.
Nice.
She's sleeping super, super well.
Shout out 12 hours and 12 weeks.
You got knock on wood too.
And gong hit just to be safe.
If that's okay.
She's waking up around 7.30 on her own.
Teathing.
Yeah, they're always teething.
Yeah.
Always.
They have 40 teeth.
They're like a shark.
Yeah, yeah.
You pick her up from daycare and the teachers are like,
yeah, she had a bad day.
Well, she's teething.
Yeah.
So yeah.
Yeah.
The teeth, dude.
It's, yeah, but that's what the sleep.
That's one of the hardest part.
To me, I know parenting is always going to be hard, but I just, the day when I can just reliably
sleep again, that's going to change everything.
Yeah, that's tough, man.
Good.
Good.
Like we're in the Navy SEALs.
Good.
No sleep.
I feel like I'm kind of looking at a time machine right now, just dad wise of the way that
you're talking.
And I'm just mentally preparing myself for it.
Yeah.
You've got me, like I said, you've got a guy out four hours of sleep with a three-month-old three.
I'm not a good place.
But that's what we need.
Hey, I'm open book.
And it's still a blessing.
It's still great.
But it's gnarly, man.
It's not really when, because my oldest is doing a thing where he wakes up every night.
Anyone ever heard of the, the hatch, the green light, red light?
Yes.
Yeah, I have that.
Okay.
Do you have that?
Yeah, no kids, but I have that.
Tell me, yes.
Yeah.
Okay.
You like it.
It's the thing that does the light in the room to go to sleep and wake up.
A little red light therapy or something.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Is that the hatch?
Like, it's like it plays in noise.
Yeah, the idea with kids is it's like kind of their clock.
Red light means asleep.
Green light means it's time to wake up.
But it's funny these kids.
He would wake up before it.
He wouldn't respect it.
He'd cry.
So we'd be like, well, we're trying to teach him.
So we'd turn it green as he was crying.
So kind of just try to instill like,
we're not going to get him unless it's green.
Yeah.
Then the other day, he broke it to me.
He goes, if I cry enough, it turns green.
So then I go, dang it, dude.
So now I'm like, no worries, he's been waking up every night screaming.
He's trying to turn that thing green.
He's like, might as well give it a shot.
So we're getting rid of that.
It's just, you never know.
I didn't even know Hatch had that feature.
I really didn't.
It's a very common thing.
Once you get up to the two, three years old is to kind of teach,
to try to hopefully teach them like,
this is your time on your own to get out of your big boy bed
and walk out your room.
Oh.
It's not going to
plan with our oldest.
I'm really questioning
why I have it.
I know.
I live with my girlfriend
and she like brought it
and we moved in.
Yeah.
She's like,
yeah, honey,
I don't know.
She's,
she's sleep training you.
Jerry,
time to wake up.
Good morning.
I really don't know.
Coffee.
It's still red.
Weird.
I guess you stayed a bed.
I do know to Jerry's defense.
They do make adult hatches.
We must have an adult.
I don't know why we have.
It looks like the sunrise.
It's kind of like a pleasant way to wake up.
And not to throw my wife under the bus.
She did buy an infant hatch when we did not have a child
because she liked the music of the infant hatch
more than the white noise of the adult.
It's probably more relaxing.
Yes, very relaxing.
I have another dad loss for us.
Yes.
This comes from T.J. Usruck, this is an email.
How are we doing men?
So last night, my six-year-old was helping dad
knock out some chores. It'd been raining for about seven straight hours, but the chickens don't
give a shit about the weather. They still want to eat. And also, we just lost our bed.
Oh, man.
Tisi-Sikos, we are also brought to you by the one and only, Olipop. We had Trey Kennedy actually
taste test this flavor, caramel apple. He loved it. We obviously love it. We even put it in
afloat, this stuff with vanilla
ice cream goes crazy.
It goes absolutely insane.
So if you have yet to even try
this flavor, go out and get you a caramel
apple, but also try it
float style. We think you might like it.
Olipop has their new limited edition
flavor just in time for fall. We just told you about it.
The caramel apple with nine grams of fiber.
Oli Pop is the
feel-good soda that combines the classic
soda taste with the benefits
of high fiber to support digestive help.
Get a free can of olive pop when you buy any two cans in store,
and that's any flavor, guys.
You can mix and match these.
We have the caramel apple, obviously.
We also have our raspberry sherbert that we told you about just recently.
Mitchie boys got a little crisp apple over there rocking it.
Any flavor, you mix the two.
They will pay you back for one.
All you have to do is go to drinkollipop.com forward slash BWTB.
It works on any single can flavor at any retailer.
Ollipop is available in the soda aisle and with the chilled beverages at thousands of retailers nationwide, including Target and Walmart.
We had a guy on X reach out and say that if you swore, he would name his first son, Trey.
And I said, well, if Shirm doesn't swear, we'll name the Gong Max.
But now we have to name the Gong Trey because he did swear.
Well, nice.
All right.
To apologize for swearing.
Yeah, it was the classic.
Well, he was just reading a quote.
I was reading a quote.
That's how my shelter self got away with cussing growing up.
I was just read this quote.
Who's this guy, Matt?
He was just a random fan on X?
Or do you know this guy?
Yeah, yeah.
A PT sicko.
He commented on.
Blashing me.
Flashbacks to the middle school.
Come on, Tray Cuss.
Come on Chay Cuff.
No.
No, I don't need to.
I don't want to.
I can.
I don't want to.
It's actually super overrated, dude.
You wouldn't get it.
TJ continues.
So we head out to feed them and collect the eggs.
Now, the chicken run is an absolute disaster.
Just mud, water, chicken shit.
Basically a biohazard with feathers.
My big guy decides he wants to be the one to go in and get the feed.
I'm thinking, all right, buddy.
This is how boys become men.
He makes it in.
Gets the scoop of feed, turns around, starts bringing it.
back to the feeder. Down he goes. Full sin right into the mud and chicken shit soup. I'm talking hands
closed boots the whole package. He gets up looking absolutely betrayed by agriculture. That's a quote.
And I think that that might have been the exact moment I lost my farm hand. We got him inside,
gave him a shower, but somehow the smell survived. The kids smelled like wet chicken shit for the
rest of the night. So anyway, I'm currently accepting applications for a new helper. Mine has
officially retired from farming at six years old. T.J. Oh my gosh. Dude, I can just, I can just see
that little boy. He's probably just screaming at us. I'm never doing this. Just covered in poop.
That's six. Six is an age, dude. Like, I was a camp counselor for a little bit. And the six and seven
year olds, pardon the meme.
Awful.
Yeah, they are. I actually did a, I did a counselor a year once.
And I think that was maybe more like seven and eight, but I did it once.
I never did it again.
Golly.
And it's such a racket to these parents.
I mean, it's the best thing for a parent as far as, oh, honey, you want to go for a month?
Are you sure we're going to miss you a lot?
Oh, no.
No kidding.
It's a game changer for a parent.
Yeah.
geez, I guess. Yeah, we'll send you for a month then if you really want to go camping.
If that's, it'll be good for you. That's, uh, that's so bad. Yeah, that's, those big,
those moments at that age, they're pivotal for the future. If that kid will ever farm again,
it might be scarred for life. I don't know. Yeah, as far as advice for TJ, I would just,
I would get some stuff that's like obviously not farming. Like I would get a really cool blow up,
uh, obstacle course in the backyard and be like, oh, we got to do this because it's the spring harvest.
kind of like introduce
stuff that isn't farming.
Or maybe,
yeah,
or like when the time comes
when you know,
every good chicken,
it's time to,
to eat the chicken.
Yeah,
yeah,
you let the boy say,
all right.
You rip,
you grab,
you get the legs and you do it.
And it's like,
you know,
finally.
I thought you were going to say cinnamon
to do the coop
and just start a helicopter.
Yeah,
dude.
No,
my grandma grew up on a farm.
She said the way they do it is
put a two by four over its head
and,
and pull it by its leg.
Oh, so you were saying that.
Yeah.
Oh, yeah.
Oh, yeah.
That's really what they did.
And then you hear chicken with the heads cut off.
It's just a beheaded chicken running around.
Yeah.
It's real.
It's a real saying.
So I'd let him do that as a full circle.
Okay, it's time to eat this chicken made for the holidays or something.
Yeah, that will intro.
I think that's quite nice.
A little payback.
And a little dad hack too.
That's a bonus dad hack.
Dad hack.
Like your six-year-old, behead the chicken.
Dad-hack.
There we go.
Yes, sir.
Oh, we're getting that new it.
Yes, sir.
All right, let's, let's jump into shoutouts.
We got some shoutouts here, Trey.
Okay, me first.
You're leading the ship.
Do you go first?
You know what?
You go first.
I like that.
Okay.
And I always say who the Senate, right?
No many people, I guess they say.
Oh, yes, sir.
Yeah, yeah.
Come on.
Okay.
This is an email.
Almost go time, boys.
It's the subject.
This is from Raleigh Richardson.
What a name.
What up, Raleigh.
as my wife just got scheduled for her C-section next Thursday, October 15th, 8 a.m.
Got a big one on the way.
37 weeks, the baby was weighing just over 9 pounds.
So any boy who thinks they want to try anything with my daughter, she'll be ready to meet you in the A gap.
Ooh.
Come on.
Good size.
Good size.
Come on.
Nice.
I just picture his wife ever reading that sentence.
He's like, don't worry about it.
Yeah.
It's from a podcast.
I'm saying our daughter is going to be humongous.
Comedy show.
That is great. My daughter's, my daughter's a big girl. It's funny to make those jokes.
So, okay. 99% tile. Yeah, come on. Eva. Yes. Okay. Plug in the agap. Yeah. That's great.
In all seriousness, I do want to give a shout out to my amazing wife, Brianna. We got told last December that her chances of a natural pregnancy were slim to none due to my wife's severe endometriosis. She had a surgery to address it. And one of her fallopian tubes was even removed. By the grace of God, just a couple months later, we found out that she,
is pregnant. Breonna, I truly outkicked my coverage with you. I love you and I can't
wait to take on this next journey with you. Wow, Raleigh, what a guy. I'm also very proud
I could pronounce all those words. That's the first time ever that has ever happened.
Can we get Angina Gongrel into that? That was crazy. Yeah, I know my, I know my stuff. I, yeah.
I learned about injimitriosis just a few weeks ago, actually. It's coming in handy. All right.
I didn't know. Do you guys know what that is? No. No, no. You can lie to us and we agree with it.
But it's normally that chair is the issue.
He really did.
And make sure at the end of the podcast,
just rub a little bit on the chair.
Got it.
Yeah.
Okay.
Okay.
He goes on.
He says,
boys,
thank you for this podcast.
I had no clue what to expect at first when we got the news.
But somehow y'all have made it a little bit less intimidating.
And each week I get more excited hearing about how much dads love being dads.
Also,
I got my hospital bag packed with the for the dad's tea.
Ready to go for the hospital walk out to pick from the wife.
Thanks, fellas.
Raleigh Richardson. Wow, what a guy.
Congrats, man. That's really,
that's really sweet.
Shout out, and shout out Wifee for providing.
Did he say Wifi provided the shirt or the outfit?
It was, I was battling through a couple.
I feel like typos or so he said, we got our
hospital backpacked with the four that adds tea,
ready to go for the hospital walkout
pick from the wife.
So I guess, I think he's saying she got it from the wife.
Okay. I think he's saying he got the t-shirt from the wife.
So shout out wife.
Wifie understood the assignment.
That's a PT sicko.

October 15th

she says
shout out my husband
Kyle
hi PT6
first GBR
do you know
what GBR
I didn't put it on the sheet
We didn't
but we have some thing
We did
Girl boy ratio
because that would have been
a great guess
It's go big red
for Wilcompton
Go Go
good
Ration
I haven't said that phrase
a long time. What is the GBI?
Lock ratio in this office. What is the
GBR? Terrible GBR
in this office.
Absolutely.
I hope we beat the shit out of Indiana
this weekend. This comes out after said
weekend. So
result there. Result, hopefully.
Hopefully. Hopefully. Result on the screen.
We need this.
If we do, we are so back
baby. Second, I'm writing to shout out
my husband, Kyle. Also, I'm realizing
this is Wifi. This is GBR
wife you love that she's a CFB SICO. Shout out my husband Kyle is the title of the email.
Yeah, yeah. I'm just saying love the GBR sicko fandom. He is a huge fan of the pod and has turned
me into one as well. He recently told me he always waits to hear a shout out for him. So here it is.
Kyle, shout out you just for time's sake. We'll keep it there. But thank you so much,
Ali, for writing in as well. You guys are the best and thank you for listen.
to the show.
Mm-hmm.
Amazing.
Let's go.
We got some ladies listening.
That's big time.
Yeah, dude.
But we don't have a Katie.
And you'll see in our last episode, the top comment.
Deke, do you remember it?
Yeah, you ever call the wives or something?
You're going to call your wife or something.
Get her little tidbit in there.
They were like, get the wives on.
Yeah, we have a lot of get the wives on the pod, which I will say we have a plan.
Oh, okay.
We do have a plan of a plan.
And now we have a third wife.
Mm-hmm.
Oh my God.
Yeah.
Yes, sir.
You big dog.
Wow.
We have a third wife.
Fun.
We'll keep it in mind.
We'll keep it in mind.
Let's get into crack a cold one.
Okay.
Oh.
Trey, this is a very fun, easy segment.
Okay.
In front of you is an olypop.
Mm-hmm.
It is caramel apple flavored.
Wow, fun.
Very fun.
Very fall festive.
Hallelujah.
Hallelujah.
Boy, oh boy.
That's what I do.
I did it.
Okay.
I was supposed to do that.
Yeah. And then you don't have to take a little sip. I will. We love Olipop. Crack a cold one is brought to us by Ollipop. Essentially, when we crack a cold one, it's like we're a couple dads in the garage telling war stories. We're cracking some Oli Pops. And we just say something good that's going on with the kiddos, something that really kind of made us stop and go, damn, I'm crushing it.
That's nice. Everything's right in the world.
That's sweet.
go first, and that might give you a little buffer zone for a crack of coal one.
Mine, Scarlett loves Halloween.
And it is amazing as a father that I have a daughter that has walked in on a scary.
There was something scary going on the TV.
Eyes were locked on it.
She did not show any tears.
We did get channel changed very quickly.
But I was like, that was a good first reaction because that was kind of spooky what
was going on on the screen and she didn't, you know, she didn't flinch.
Microdosing horror films.
It was on planned.
It was on play.
Yeah, we're kidding.
We're a little touch in there.
Honey, it was the shining.
Get over it.
So we have inflatables in the front yard.
We have spider webs on the front porch.
We have ghosties.
We have pumpkins.
And she loves the pumpkins.
She loves the ghosties.
The only problem is she might love it too much.
and this might be my dad loss.
She is going just to our neighbor stores now.
Now that she can walk, it's like, oh, that house looks like my house.
So I'll just, let's just go see what their spitties are doing.
Let's see if they have ghosties.
If they have inflatables, it's game over.
She has to go walk up and touch them.
But overall, a crack of cold one, she's loving Halloween.
That's great.
We got an outfit?
Is she doing a costume?
That's my dad lost, Trey.
We did touch on it last episode.
but here's what's going on.
We are going to a wedding in Chicago
that is taking place on Halloween Day.
Halloween wedding?
I know.
Halloween wedding.
I'm trying to...
Is that a bad move?
Well, let me ask you that it's one of your...
Y'all's friends.
It's R.H.
It's R.H.
That's kind of great.
So there's probably a lot of parents invited.
There are...
I will say this about the couple
and they do not listen to this show.
I'm guessing.
Of course, we don't need a bash them.
They're not parents.
But I will say this about the couple.
They are very fun.
So it would not surprise me.
It's a fun night if you're not a parent to have a wedding.
And it would not surprise me if the reception had a little spookiness going on.
It would be fun.
It could be fun.
But the dad lost, obviously, this is like Scarlet's first Halloween where she can walk.
We've got a couple words down.
Yeah.
But yeah, I guess you're still, it'd be devastating if she was like four, you know.
because you couldn't miss that, dude.
Then it's like, I don't know what we're doing.
That's awesome.
Yeah, we're, my son's three and a half.
So we did it.
He was two and a half.
So he could do it.
We're having fun.
Yeah.
But this year's going to be,
I can't wait,
man.
And all my friends,
we all,
my boys are the oldest out of all our friends.
But they're all like by a few months.
So I feel like this is our first trigger treat.
We're all going to get together boys,
wives and the kids,
it's going to be so fun.
It's one of my proudest moments last Halloween.
I had a gig offer on Halloween night.
I go, no, I turned it down.
I go, no, I get, you start to get to that as a dad.
I said yes to everything before I was a dad.
Yeah, yeah.
You got to start picking a choosing.
You go, no, not going to do it.
Or the best it's ever made.
It was such a fun night.
So it was a little bonus, me being awesome, but crack a cold one.
I'm wrestling with my kids.
Like the real deal dad wrestling, you all like see and dreamo.
Throwing them into the sofa cushion a little bit.
Like, you know, did it over the years, but now my boy is.
like we have a game where I'm full-blown just like stalking him to the ground and throwing them and hitting him with boats and he's loving it and it's now a thing whenever I leave town like I'm here I got I got a gig so I'm in town I'll be home first thing tomorrow and it's always just like the second I step in the door he's like let's go you know it's like time to wrestle and it's kind of you know what dreams are made of you know yeah he's at that age we're just and it's really sweet then my daughter kind of gets in because she doesn't want to be left out and um you know we got of of course I'm
gentle with her and then he all of a sudden just clotheslines her and you're like,
okay,
don't,
you know,
you got to,
he's doing good.
Yeah,
but sometimes he just kind of suplexes his little sister.
Yeah,
yeah.
But we're wrestling,
man.
It's the best.
It's,
it's the real,
it's like,
yeah,
it's like a dream.
Something just connected in my mind,
too,
because he's from Oklahoma.
Mm-hmm.
Do you know who Dan Gable is?
Yeah,
not like personally,
but yeah,
familiar.
Wrestling,
legendary wrestling coach.
Yeah.
We have a Dan Gable
Bobblehead right there.
That's,
that's,
That's Will's childhood hero.
Really?
Childhood hero.
Wow.
And as I'm listening to you tell this story, I truly am like, that has Will Compton written all over.
Like him sitting here listening to that story.
He's like, man, I want to wrestle some boy, dude.
He would have the happiest tears in his eyes.
You could borrow my son whatever you want, man.
Just get after it.
Man, that sounds like a lot of testosterone going on.
Yeah, it's the best.
One, I love that.
Two, I just didn't want to skip over this group trick or treat that you're doing.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Can you break that down because I don't have a whole lot of dad friends like outside of this office?
What does that look like?
How are you all going to attack the knife?
Well, we like said, last year went way better than I thought.
I know because you're like everyone's, I said my oldest, the oldest was my two and a half year old.
We had some people like under two.
So they're kind of waddling around and but it lasted a longer than I thought and the kids
you're in the candy.
but this year should be unmatched.
Like we host, we're in a great neighborhood for it.
It's like tons of, tons of families walking around.
Are we doing wagons?
No, probably not wagons.
Okay, no wagons.
My kids will be, we try last year.
They were too fired up.
They couldn't sit in the wagon.
They wanted to walk.
So we, you know, we'll have everyone over.
You know, hey, after an nap time, come on over.
Hopefully it's nice weather.
It's on a Saturday, which is clutch.
And we, like any good group of friends,
Of course, we have a few adult drinks in the thermos.
You hit the road.
Yes, sir.
I was just, I was like in a flow state.
I was meeting.
We had just moved to this neighborhood too.
So I'm meeting neighbors.
My cute kids are trick or treating.
All of us parents having a great time.
It's,
it's one of the, as a parent,
I think it's hard to beat Halloween.
It's like a really fun night.
One of my favorite,
I just unlocked a memory as you're telling that story.
One of my favorite vines,
Vine characters of yours was your dad character.
Uh-huh.
Does it scare you waking up and being like, oh my God, I might be that guy.
Yeah.
Yeah, he's referencing.
I had this, the, when the whip a nana, all that was huge.
I was just doing a corny like, I'm going to whip you into shape.
And, you know, of course, reflecting back on it, do you remember this?
I didn't know.
I was, yeah.
First, we're like, wow, good joke.
But it was groundbreaking at the time.
And it was big.
That was hilarious.
Yeah.
It was a whole thing.
And, you know, I've said this a lot.
I feel like our.
Millennials, we have hope.
Oh, baby.
That's in that college house.
One of my boys, I go, hey, record this right quick.
Yeah.
Yeah, man, don't let me cook.
I don't know.
I'm saying something like that.
But I did so many of those.
And I think we have hope we're, with the phones of social media,
maybe we can kind of be a little less corny.
We can keep up a little bit.
We're still more plugged in.
State Farm is just raking it in with those commercials did.
Becoming your parent.
I think that's progressive.
Progressive.
And shout out, no free shout out to both of those companies.
I'm currently with State Farm.
Okay.
Hey, there we go.
We'll cut.
Yeah, we'll cut that.
Leave that out.
This course will suck.
Northwestern Mutuals.
So does our insurance.
I,
yeah, I think I'll be able to hold off.
But I can't believe you remember all those vines, man.
That's funny.
Oh, dude, they were hilarious.
And I feel like I'm turning into that as well.
Matt calls a lot of our older guys in the office, Unk.
which I love that.
And we actually have some uncle hats and some unk hats that we've been sporting.
It's kind of like white, you know, black folks always have OG.
It's like we kind of finally got a little.

That's mean they're making fun of us, but, you know, baby steps.
Yeah, baby steps.
We took a scoop of the ice cream and they said, that's fine.
You can have unk. That's great.
Yeah. I like it.
Come on, Unk. Give us a little onk in there.
As I am an unc explaining Unk.
Dad Hacks.
We want to jump into it? I think that's our last one.
And I can go first for you.
Okay, go.
Dad Hack from Corey Williams on Spotify.
Corey writes in Dad Hack, grab a pack of those puppy P pads from the store and use them as a changing pad.
They soak up all the accidental discharges
during a diaper change.
Solid dad hack.
That is a pretty good dad hack.
That's a solid one.
That really is.
That's way better than those rewashable things.
Yes.
And my dad hack,
which I kind of got,
Will was like,
are we sure that's a dad hack?
My dad hack last week was,
hey,
my kid hates the changing table.
I just change her on the ground now.
His dad hack was put the kid on the ground.
Place the kid on the floor.
Just wait until I go to my wife.
I go, honey, and I got these B pads from Walmart.
We're just going to throw them on the ground.
It'll be perfect.
Yes, legendary dad status here.
Let's go.
Okay, Duncan.
Duncan Robertson writes in, dad hack,
My daughter's daycare provides breakfast, lunch, and afternoon snack,
which is a huge win in it of itself.
Last week, they had bald chicken nuggets,
which were actually just small pieces of grilled chicken.
Picky toddlers won't eat.
Just tell them it's bald chicken nuggets.
to get that protein in them.
There we go, baby.
You got to read that.
Oh, every pair of nose.
Okay.
What you get in the pick?
Oh, yeah.
Big one that's going on right now with the pod.
They don't make that anymore.
They ask for something.
That's crazy.
They actually don't make that anymore.
I saw this hack.
This is a viral hack.
They were eating like chocolate cake.
They go, ooh, this cake is spicy.
You wouldn't like.
Smart, dude.
You haven't seen this.
Yeah.
That's genius.
They're like, let me eat that cookie.
Oh, wow.
Spicy cookie.
Yeah.
Oh, that's so hot.
Same with that.
Oh, my God.
Oh, I don't want any part of that.
I want any part of that.
It tastes like Brock.
Oh, yeah, a famous one in our house that actually was a bit I've told on the road where we,
my son was obsessed with pancakes about, so we gave him a waffle.
So you can assume how that went.
Oh, yeah.
And my wife said their, they're silly pancakes and he ate them.
So to this day, we call waffle silly pancakes.
Oh, my God.
A silly pancake?
Yeah.
And he ate it up.
That's all it took.
It's amazing.
You got a brand it, man.
Ball chicken nuggets.
That's pretty good.
We sit here and we break it down parenting as like this hard rocket science thing,
which haters love to put it in the comments.
They're really just making a podcast about this.
Like parenting's the easiest.
I mean, come on.
Yeah.
But it is moments like that where you can just rebrand something and the mind quickly changes.
Dude, the picky eat.
This is something that just happened as of this week.
My son loves, you know, of course, like any other child, peanut butter sandwich, peanut butter on bread.
Yeah, yeah.
He rejects the jelly.
We said, dude, peeping jelly.
No, I don't like jelly.
And then we went uncrustable.
A kid at his little school was had,
he's like this,
this Calvin always has these.
So he got him.
He was excited and he took a bite and he liked the jelly coming out of that.
But so much so that when he has one of those,
he says,
I only like the jelly.
So he rips a hole in it and oozes out the jelly and sucks it out of the uncrustable.
And won't eat the peanut butter.
But if I made of a peanut butter jelly,
he'd be like,
I don't like jelly.
And I mean,
you can't even make this stuff up.
I go,
are you rage baiting me, dude?
He came home from school and it had been like dissecting.
Like what'd you do to this thing?
He goes, I just sucked out the jelly, man.
I go, that's crazy.
That also looks like such an science experiment.
I was bizarre.
You think of your kid at school.
He's over there.
Somebody's doing an autopsy on a on gross.
Oh my God.
Last dad hack here.
We got Carlin Petron.
Dash Q40 on YouTube.
Carlin says, will he see?
quick dad hack to get the girls to eat their dinner.
See, here we go.
All right, let's go.
Pick up a special dessert that you know they absolutely love and don't have every day.
I know the cookie can be a motivator, but something she has every day might not be enticing
enough.
Be sure to show her what her reward will be for eating her dinner ahead of time before you
actually sit down for dinner to create some anticipation.
Start with three quarters of the plate.
and gradually increase it until she's a consistent member of the clean plate club as the CPC.
Okay.
Wow.
He's running out found in fancy desserts, keeping him guessing.
Yeah.
And Will wouldn't know what to think about that dad hack because he is very much on your brand of,
Hey, if you're not going to eat, you're not.
Yeah.
It's tough.
Because now my boy, then you get so far, especially with a boy where I'm like,
sometimes I just give him the cookie.
and my wife's like, why? I'm like,
this guy needs some calories in him.
I need this guy to put some meat on his bone.
You know, you don't want them tiny little.
So then you're battling that a little bit.
You're getting them ready for the egg.
Yeah, exactly.
Come on.
God.
I mean, Will was literally just sitting right there going, you know,
we used to do PB&J sandwiches right before bet to bulk up.
Yeah.
We do that.
Perfect bars.
You guys know about those?
Oh, perfect bars are good.
They're good.
But calories.
most kids I've ever known like them
and they're feel they're healthy.
They're so man,
we go through those.
Dude,
I got to find the brand too.
I think Target sells them
the little Fig Newton things.
I was not a Fig Newton guy
when I was younger,
but I find myself,
it's the perfect amount of Scarlett
will like get it down to a little nub
so I have a one bider
like when she doesn't finish it.
Big on the fig Newton's now.
Yeah,
I had to cut,
I was,
I gained a few pounds definitely from the mac and cheese.
Dad,
dad dip it in the mac and cheese.
You go, dude, they come a long way with this mac and cheese.
It's delicious.
You were just talking about on y'all's last episode.
Y'all went to like a pettings here or something.
And you were like, they had mac and cheese.
I couldn't believe it.
I couldn't believe it.
When they were saved, kids had the mac.
It was delicious.
Guys, it's like a drug.
Mac and cheese is like a drug for my daughter, Scarlett.
Every child.
Oh, they love it.
We have some dad call-ins.
Oh, fun.
And dad Collins stray, of course, they're presenting.
it by Gravely.
Our first dad call in.
What do you think, Deke? We've been signed up.
Yeah, start with we've been signed up. This is an interesting one.
So start with this and then I can explain what it's from or you can take a guess.
Okay, perfect. I like that.
And we're loading.
The varsity football game against B. Bebecomer has moved to 6 o'clock tomorrow night.
Senior parents that are a part of senior night festivities should be at the field by 445.
To opt out of future messages, call 855.5.5.
5.02. 7867.
Goodbye.
We've been receiving texts on the For the Dad's phone.
Someone signed us up for their kids' alert system at the high school.
Come on, guys.
That's the first.
We're trying to run a company over here.
We've been getting updates about drop-offs and pickups.
So that's more an alert to someone out there that they're not getting the updates.
We are.
And so we've received our first voicemail from that school.
Why do people do this?
We had like emails here and then you start getting this BS.
Like, why are you pranking us?
Stop signing us up for stuff.
Here's what I will say, though.
Ultimate Dad Hack.
You like this Dad podcast that you listen to that has a voicemail.
You never check your voicemails at the school leaves.
You listen to said show.
He said they're going, oh, okay, great.
Festivities got moved to 6 p.m.
A week later.
There we go.
Yeah, a week later.
Exactly.
Oh, my God.
Honey, I didn't know that they played a week later.
These guys suck, dude.
That's great.
Next one, a memory for you.
What's up, boys?
It's Dylan from Jersey.
Sherm, feel free to do the accent.
I'm in the belly of abuse right now.
Disney World.
Magic Kingdom.
I got the six-month-old strapped to my chest.
My daughter's about to ride Aladdin.
Boys, let me tell you this.
The meltdowns, the screaming,
the overpriced snacks.
It's all worth it.
Take the trip.
Take the kids to go see the mouse.
They'll love it.
It's really a memory for you.
E.G. Sicko.
Out.
A little bonus there at the end.
Yeah.
Wow.
That was that a hired actor?
Who is that guy?
I'm a Jersey.
I'm a Disney World.
My daughter's about to ride a land.
That was great.
Six month old at Disney World.
No props.
Yeah, good on them.
Good on them.
Any roller coaster riding for you guys.
Any theme park ride?
We have it.
No, man, I was not a roller coaster
kid.
Okay.
I was kind of a weaning with that and my son's got that gene.
There's no world where he was going to get on a coaster anytime soon.
Kind of a shy boy.
I don't, well, I don't know.
We'll see.
I don't foresee us being a Disney family.
My wife's really kind of anti.
She is.
She's kind of a hater.
She really is.
Okay.
Big thank you from Matt.
Hey, real quick.
Need her info to be passed to my wife.
Yeah, my wife, she'll talk her down.
I need Katie to talk to Jill.
You got a Disney adult over there?
Well, Jill's not.
Some of her family have some real estate in Orlando, Florida.
You may have heard of it.
They're all in.
They have flash passes due to some of the relatives having diabetes.
No lines.
No lines.
No lines.
No feet.
And she cannot.
Truly.
Truly.
And it is already written in the stars that we will be going to Disney World once Scarlet's over two.
Like annually.
Please cut that from the episode.
Make sure that gets cut from the episode.
It's like.
I don't think you can do that, Trey.
I think it's just like a once every like 10 years.
They won't let you in more than once.
Yeah.
I forgot about that.
That loss.
Damn.
Yeah.
Because they want to make sure everyone can experience the magic
so you can't go too much.
Okay, I'll tell Jill that.
She listens.
So that's good for her to know.
But please, well, like Katie.
Don't your wife listen?
She does.
Nice.
Yeah, she does.
Charo is maybe our number one listener, Will's wife.
Wow.
She's a, she's a every episode.
She very much the APR was founded because Will, I believe, messed up birthdays
and messed up the age the daughter's were during things and stuff like,
like little instances like that.
Wow.
What's my?
Katie.
You suck, Katie.
And I can say that because there's no world she's listening to this.
We'll lay in bed.
And this is a funny bit I do every couple months ago.
Let's just review this.
And like my last 12 Instagram reels, she hasn't liked them.
I go, you're my, you were even watching these?
She's like, I'm busy, dude.
Yeah.
Come on, Katie.
Your husband's out here working.
I'm going to come.
No.
I love to give her hard time.
She's like, I'm trying.
She's not.
She's not keeping up my content.
No, that's really sweet.
They're devout listeners.
Yeah, they are.
They are.
They're excited for.
us. I know that Jill, she's probably, I would say, like, two out of three episodes would be like her.
Yeah. No, my wife, my wife's, she's got, I talk to her enough in real life. She's, I don't blame her.
She's the best. Oh, shout out our wives. We love our wives. We love our, yeah, gong, gong, gong rip for the wives.
Yeah. Hit the, we love. I missed. I missed. Oh, no. I thought it was a panamine at first, but that was a miss.
My, my, wouldn't let me do it. It was like a force feel.
The spirit of Katie
choking me.
I really do love my wife a lot.
That is true.
We have one last voicemail.
It is titled
Two-year-old sailor.
Loading.
Two-year-old sailor.
Boys, this is Jacob from
Southeast Kansas.
A little town called Chinat.
A little, oh, shit, moment.
As you can tell,
it's like a sailor.
That's on me.
Me and the wife here are trying to get better.
Okay.
We're headed to leave the house.
the other day, go to my mom's, call her Mimi.
She says, Grandma makes her feel old.
Whatever.
And I, like I said, I cuss like a sailor.
But headed out the door, kid turns around and just hits me
the good old-fashioned, F-U.
I'm not even talking to the kid.
I'm just walking.
The kid's just walking.
And I said, what did you say?
And she doubled down on it.
And mom's in the other room losing it.
I'm trying to keep my composure.
But just after last week's episode,
I just thought you boys get a crack.
out of it. My little two-year-old sailor over here, Braley, she's two. My little princess,
but side boys get a chuckle out of that. That's great. I, uh, I doubly apologize
last week. I said, I said some stuff on the pod. This, this podcast is titled for the dads,
not for the kids. Right. Dad had it playing in the car. Yeah, well.
stuff. Great dad hack, though. Grab the teacher at drop-off and said, hey, just want to let you know was listen to a podcast that dropped a couple F-bombs this morning. And kiddo might drop some F-bombs. So good luck with that. Yeah, yeah. Just so you know, it's a podcast. That is a new, me and my friends, we've adjusted quite well. You just all of a sudden, you're like, wow, you got to watch what you're saying around these. Oh, dude. And they really do. My boldest, I remember one day he, he, he, he,
He caught me, you know, whoever was bullying me on X, I do swear from time to time outside
my professional life.
I stub my toe or something and let something fly.
And then my little boy just started just slinging like the S word.
And the best advice, this little quick dad tip, you can't ignore.
At that age, just ignore, ignore, ignore it.
Because they want the attention, right?
Okay.
So I just kind of ignored him, ignore him.
He said it a few times and he never said it again.
I was like, oh my goodness.
I think because my worst fear is him saying up front of my mom is grandma.
Yeah.
She's like, how in the world does he know that?
I'm sorry, mother.
But he did that.
We had that one day.
And I go, oh, my God, I don't think I've cussed around him since.
Oh, good for you.
It is like, dude, when I start going on the phone, especially when I'm working, like, I'm coming home from work, either something really great happened or something just like worst day ever happened.
And I'm starting to pick up on it.
Scarlett's not repeating any words I say other than when I go up to her and say, can you say ball?
and then we'll get a little something.
But I'm starting to check myself a little bit too.
It's amazing what they absorb.
It's amazing.
All right.
And that is this week's dad call-ins presented by Gravely.
Click the link in the description below of this episode to find your Gravely Miller.
Goodness.
Well, Trey, you have made it through the gauntlet that is the For the Dad's podcast.
Go fun.
Thank you all.
I wanted to give you just a little moment.
we can throw up your tour dates on screen. Thanks. Yeah. Yeah, yeah. That's kind of it. That's what I got going on. We just announced some hitting some comedy clubs starting in November. So tray kennedy.com is where you grab them. Follow me at Tray Kennedy on socials. Come hit me up. Yeah, like we said, we got the pod. But yeah, I'm coming around. You know, I usually, every tour I just do a little less and less, which I'm glad about. You know, we don't want to be gone too much. So just two nights only at the clubs. Get the tickets. They're going fast.
would love to talk to some P.T. Sickos.
Wouldn't that be sick?
If I, if I show November, they would do them on PT sick.
And I will say the Army is, it is strong.
It's niche.
But hopefully, if you are a PT sicko out there and you're checking those dates,
you're like, oh, I could go see Trey.
Please go say what up to Trey.
Do not beg the comedy club to kick him out.
It's not funny.
The bit's been done.
we've moved on from it.
Yeah. My first show is in Eugene, Oregon.
That's right. Yes.
First, I'm doing the club there.
Beautiful city. The last time I was there, me and the boys went to see Oklahoma State, Oregon.
They beat us 69 to 3.
Oh, no.
Guess what?
We got, we redeemed this year, didn't we?
Oh, dude.
We beat the ducks.
I'm going back. Should I do my show and just America's brightest orange?
Yeah, yes, sir.
I really might have to do one of them.
It may be a mullet wig, just RIP, Gundy.
Just the bullet everything.
Oh, loved Gundy.
Dude, thank you for coming on.
This was a blast.
Thank you for having me, man.
You guys are awesome.
Really love what you're doing.
We need more dad content out there.
We do.
We need a positive spin.
So being a dad's the best.
It's a lot.
It's good.
It's good.
Good.
Any extra from you guys, any questions?
The only thing, do you have a lesson of the week or a quote?
Dude, toss us out with.
Okay.
We end each show with just a lesson, a quote.
They used to just be Dan Gable.
We've expanded a little bit.
Okay.
So here,
Here's what happened.
Here's what happened.
I'm so sorry.
No, you're fine.
Because I need to call myself out.
And if Will was here, he would, he want me to accept responsibility.
Okay.
And kind of just say what happened.
I knew you were a poke.
I love Mike Gundy.
Like huge man crush on Mike Gundy and wish that he had coached a team that I was a fan of.
I was going to have a parenting quote from Mike Gundy that was going to read.
and it was going to be very cute and fun because I would have gone,
and guess who that quote was from, Trey?
Oh, who was it from, Sherman?
Mike Gundy.
Yeah.
And then we dab and it's the perfect end to the episode.
That would be beautiful.
I only found quotes about him coaching his son at Oklahoma State.
And there were so great quotes on there.
There were some good ones.
I did just like remember that famous meme of poor Mike Gundy's kid,
like in shotgun with the hand shaking.
It's 48 to nothing.
I remember watching that game.
Boy, oh, boy.
And I'm thinking, did that advice work?
I don't know.
And I'm sorry for dogging by Gundy because I truly love him.
No, Gunny said some great quotes.
He had one of his players, he had a DUI.
Do you ever see that quote?
He's like, I mean, I don't know, I've done that a couple hundred times.
We've all done it.
We've all had like five or six beers.
And driven, I've done that a bunch.
You're like, wow.
You think you're good, but you're actually not good.
you know, but you are good because you get home safe.
Everything's good.
As soon as it left his mouth, you could just tell all the blood.
Yeah.
I'm a man.
I'm 40.
Oh my gosh.
I still watch that like once a year.
And that genuinely, that was, that really was the moment he, his whole program like turned up a notch.
It was.
It makes sense.
So you, you want your son playing for that guy.
Maybe that's the lesson.
Yeah.
Stand up because he was that.
I'm a 40.
The context.
people don't know.
His quarterback, it was like our highest ranked recruit ever,
five-star quarterback, supposed to be the guy.
Freshman year, he just wasn't doing good.
He sucked.
And so he's getting reamed by the Oklahomaan and written him up.
This guy's a bus.
He's a flop.
And he just went to bat for him and just shoot out this reporter.
You write about me.
That's a kid doing everything right.
Come after me.
I'm a man.
I'm 40.
You come after a kid that's doing everything right.
Are you kidding me?
Who's the kid here?
Who's the kid here?
Yeah, who's the kid here?
To the beat rider?
Dude, that is our dad.
That's our lesson of the week is you stand up for those that you love.
But you stand up for those that you have been put in a position to mentor.
You stand up for those.
Sometimes you got to do it.
You got to stand up to them.
Take your trash out, guys.
Have a great week.
Leave what emoji would you want them to leave in the comments, Tray?
Give me the water gun.
Go pokes.
Go pokes. Pistols firing.
They won't let us have a real gun on the emojis,
which is a separate issue that we don't need to talk about.
But water guns, what we got to use is Pokes fans.
Go Pokes.
And sadly, we don't play in the regular season,
but some are saying we might see each other in Dallas.
Y'all are like a lagway?
Come on.
Diaper bet, if that happens.
Oh, diaper bet?
Would you want to race for slips?
I'd do a little diaper bet each week.
Walk me through a diaper bet.
He's out and three.
I am. So if you want your poxswain, you might want to bet me some diapers. We just, we race straight up. It's a money line bet. I buy your newborn. Remind me his name. Miles. Miles. You're good. I don't think I'd even said it. Yeah, Miles. I would buy Miles a pack of whatever said diapers. Even if it's like coterie, I don't care, dude. I'll buy it. You ever had coderies? They're nice. We've had a few gifted and brother, let me tell you. It really is nice. It is not. It is not.
Like people talk like people kind of diaper shame, especially at daycare.
They'll be like, oh, they're just huggies.
Like, I don't have a problem with huggies.
But then you see some of it.
It's like a race car.
That's why I call it racing for slips.
I'll go straight up.
I'll go straight up with you.
Straight up.
We're saying in the hypothetical that it's Baylor Pokes.
Fictitional hypothetical.
Done.
Deal.
All right.
That's so fun.
Have you already done the delusional like, like the poaks have now won a couple
games?
I've already like blocked the calendar for the playoff.
Oh.
buddy. I know you do that, you babe. Just real quick. You know, January 1, I might be busy.
Can cancel the hotel room. Might be at the Rose.
Like 40 hours before. Yeah. Our- We go seven and five. You're like, I don't know.
Our boy coupe, that's our graphic designer here, is a poke. And I, as soon as this wraps, I would love for you all to just, if you need to race out, it's totally fine. But I feel like y'all.
We'll talk through some delusional, like any good sports fan. Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah. Oh, great.
We'll enjoy that. Yeah. Deal. See you in Dallas.
I believe us.
Take the trash out.
We love you.
Water guns.
Go putts.
