Starting point is 00:00:00 This is an IHeart podcast. Guaranteed Human. Hey guys, it's us. The Jonas Brothers. I'm Joe. I'm Kevin. And I'm Nick. And guess what? We created our own podcast called, Hey Jonas.
Starting point is 00:00:12 We invented a podcast? Well, we didn't invent it. We just contributed to it. We're the first people to do podcasts. We get to ask other people questions because we're sick and tired of being asked questions. Well, sick and tired is a strong way to put it. But, you know, tired and sick. Listen to Hey Jonas on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you.
Starting point is 00:00:30 you get your podcast. Just listen. We don't care where you hear it. Every family has its secrets. But what happens when you discover that your dad has been living a double life? That is not the look of an innocent man. Is everyone lying to me about who they are? I felt such desperation. I felt it was what I had to do. Listen to Deep Cover the Family Man on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. The story I've told myself can then shape my behavior, and that can lead me to sabotage the possibility of connection.
Starting point is 00:01:12 This Mental Health Awareness Month, tune into the podcast Deeply Well with Debbie Brown. If you've been searching for a soft place to land while doing the work to become whole, this podcast is for you to hear more. Listen to Deeply Well with Debbie Brown from the Black Effect Podcast Network on the IHart, radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcast.
Starting point is 00:01:35 All right, fellas. Welcome back to episode 14 of Inside the Bus. Jared, if you put your feet up. Type. Bang. This is what we're talking about today. Chef, if you cut to coop. Cook?
Starting point is 00:01:47 Type shit. The boys got helies. Let's go. What kind of helies do you have, Jared? So, as you can tell, I got the Minecraft limited edition bumblebee. Oh, Easter egg. Jared Beeman. To be.
Starting point is 00:02:02 They look massive on your feet. Did they really? Yeah. They're weirdly comfortable. There's so much padding inside of them. It's like airbags. They're comfortable and heavy. Yeah, I was going to say,
Starting point is 00:02:10 I feel like they're super heavy. They are heavy. I don't know what technology's in them, but it's got to have that strong base to have a wheel. How'd this purchase come to be? They're bricked. How'd the purchase come to be? Whose idea was this?
Starting point is 00:02:23 I don't even know. You don't have a cool story because neither of us remember. Like when they came in, Clump or somebody, was like, wait, whose idea is this? We must have just saw it on like social media. I mean like, hey, let's buy here. And then we just did it. Like, I don't even have an inkling of an idea of why he'll.
Starting point is 00:02:37 Haven't had healy since I was like eight. Just an impulse by. And I think we looked on the website and we were like, oh, they still sell them. And then we're like, yo, they're kind of cheap. Like the clearance ones. Oh, shit, those USA ones are fire. Fire. You're flying around on it, Jared.
Starting point is 00:02:50 I forgot how good I was. Coupe? Coup. No, I got work to do. It's like roller skating. Yeah, I got work to do. It's like riding a butt. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:02:59 It's going to take a little bit, but you'll figure it out. My problem is I rode Helies when I was like eight or nine for like maybe a month or two. I was never into my life. I got a lot of doing it. Yeah. No, my parents didn't let us. My parents didn't allow us either. We were ripping them at the mall.
Starting point is 00:03:15 Coup's saying the same thing. It's funny because in my head, I'm like, oh, my whole childhood I had Helies. It was probably like a month. Yeah, like I feel like heli was like a fat. Yeah, yeah. It was a summer thing. Yeah, but in my head, it's like, oh, my whole child. Maybe I went to school one day without the wheel in them.
Starting point is 00:03:28 Yes. Yeah. concrete the best floor thinking you got something past the teachers wearing
Starting point is 00:03:33 there's always some dude in middle school playing dodge ball and some helies and it's like bro why I can't have you
Starting point is 00:03:38 on my team right now dude you got no agility yeah they take the wheels out
Starting point is 00:03:44 oh take them out so they just be clunking around and I thought you know with them on like swerve on a corner
Starting point is 00:03:49 I'm going to it's going around I thought he was bawling out like that another thing we need to
Starting point is 00:03:54 talk about is Jack's shirt I feel like I just realized what's going on on your shirt. I got that dog in me. If you haven't had the Kirkland dog,
Starting point is 00:04:05 you've never been a Costco. I mean, the Costco lunch. It'd be shocking if you'd never at least experience it once in your life. But yeah, the Kirkland hot dog, great. The pizza is phenomenal. Real fruit smoothies. I've actually never had a chicken bake, though. That's the one thing I never had.
Starting point is 00:04:21 I've never gotten food at Costco before. We need to go do it. That's crazy because I think it's right up here. Maybe that's our next little mini vlog as we go on a lot. lunch to Costco. Those smoothies truly are like, I could see that being at some little like beach place that it's like $15 for like a little. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:04:37 They're that good. They're tropical smoothie. So cost affordable too. You can spend $10 in there and eat like a king. I just found out that whole foods like makes lattes. I don't know if that's. Whole food does everything. And you can get like two lattes for like 10 bucks.
Starting point is 00:04:51 You can like drink at a bar in Whole Foods. Yeah. I drink one at a Whole Foods. Do they, do you guys have Harris Teeters in South Carolina? We do. they have the bars and everything too it's an elite grocery store we used to have one davy his dad when we lived in charlotte he like we would go shopping and davy's ever right head to the bar catch you guys later just to go to harris teeter he would go to harris teeter as like
Starting point is 00:05:14 we would do our shopping dude i do y'all remember when Costco like first first opened no or at least whenever it came to south carolina it was a huge deal because one of our friends the friend that always supplied like the good drinks at their house. They got the Costco membership. And so we went with his mom one day and we saw it and we're like, this is, this is like heaven for a kid. Yeah. Just in limited Gatorades and sodas. I actually got my first car wreck right in front of Costco looking at because the Costco had opened two weeks prior.
Starting point is 00:05:47 Do you remember Flo Weber? Yeah. Foreign Exchange student. Florean. Yeah, we call him Flo, though. Yeah. So wherever you are out there, I hope you're thriving. and killing it, but we were driving in Cool Springs
Starting point is 00:05:57 by the, at the point, brand new Costco. And I remember pointing, he's like, what does it cost go? And I'm like, oh, and then like turn and then a card stop and just rear-ended the fuck out of it. And I was like, well. Were you guys at maniacs before? I don't know where we were.
Starting point is 00:06:13 I mean, honestly, probably wouldn't have been too far off. Great chicken place as well. But, yeah, we should definitely hit a little field trip for inside the bus to a Costco. Me, Will, Taylor, and Klump went there about a month ago to do an ad for True Class too Costco before hours open they are operating in there it's almost scary they're always operate they're just silent but you just hear so many forklifts and people just moving around
Starting point is 00:06:36 and somebody had what was just a what is the word i'm looking for that you yeah well no um like a great with uh like industrial like pickle jars on it and one bad move dude they tip it was probably 400 bottles of pickles. I mean, and all glass shattered. And there's like 20 minutes before opening. That's nothing to that guy. And that was the first time you heard people talking and some dude was pissed off. And the smell of pickle juice does not just go away. So we're like, let's get out here. But yeah, we should definitely go to Costco, get a good lunch. You can walk around there. You could find so much random stuff there. They have great clothes. That's what I'm saying. That's why I want to go. Like you find like a good like,
Starting point is 00:07:22 hoodie or like you find like that one thing. Flannels. That's where I got my bird feeder. There you go. I thought I killed the vibe for a second. We got real quiet. There's only one problem with Costco and it's the AT&T setup right there. It's that you have to be a member. I paid to come in here. Why is there a sales guy? Pitching me on AT&T. That pisses me off so bad. You're at your Sam's guy? No, I'm broke. Do y'all like? I'm under my mom's Costco membership. I just bought one. I thought you had to like be with the person.
Starting point is 00:07:54 That's what I thought. It's under. So like I think they have like you have like a parent membership and then you can have like a sub one off like a family one. Yeah. Yeah. With multiple. I have like I have my own. Mom membership. Son members. I don't I don't. I don't really go as much as I should. But I mean, I think Brooke and I are going to get our couch when we move into our new place from Costco. We're actually trying to sell two couches right next door. Cut your deal true those are nice yeah those are nice you're getting we're getting okay good to know unless you want to unless you want to lug it up here no okay i don't know if brooke will like those
Starting point is 00:08:34 just talk to her offers there where are you moving to Mitch this we it's on the move again yeah so brooke and i actually well i actually am currently still going through so i got to have you you signed no no he can't get approved bro so i got denied my application because i still had an outstanding debt. I have to live here. From my apartment back in Charlotte. Why aren't you paid these debts? Bro, I did.
Starting point is 00:08:59 Because I will pull it up. I have a receipt right now from this apartment saying like it said I had like 72.64. That was like that was my amount that I owed. And then like my buddy and I, Colin, we paid it. I have another receipt saying like, all right, your balance is zero like straight. So then I applied for this apartment. They're like, you still owe $72. $72.
Starting point is 00:09:22 $62.64. Just give him a $100 bill and move on. So I paid it. So I had to go through like the national credit system. I paid it. And then I had to get like this special like whatever reason.
Starting point is 00:09:35 That's why he's moving so much. I had to get this whatever like PDF like satisfactory like document to then send to like resident verify who will verify that I don't have any outstanding debts. And then. So how'd you move into your most recent place? His other buddy probably. I have no idea.
Starting point is 00:09:51 Is it under your name? It was under Colin and I's name and I, Colin hasn't had any issues with it. I'm like the only one. Colin's from Charlotte. Colin is my buddy from, I live with him in Charlotte, but he's from Pennsylvania.
Starting point is 00:10:03 Does he live here now? No, he lives in Charlotte. So how do you live at the current place? I don't think they did a background check or anything like that. Did you sign a lease? Yeah. They had to do that something.
Starting point is 00:10:13 Dude, just send in the link, send the link to the video. What about the place three months prior? In East. Yes. That was cash only. Same thing happened there.
Starting point is 00:10:23 Same thing happened there, but I sent them the receipt of me not having a balance, and they accepted that. So where are you trying to move into like the four seasons? No, where are you moving to? Let's people know. So I am moving to Modera Sobrough. Damn. How would you say it?
Starting point is 00:10:39 I mean, there's 400 rooms in there. Yeah, just. And it is locked in. You're going to have some mission to just stand outside. Our views aren't necessarily huge. Mitch. But if we get 500. But it's so like, it's.
Starting point is 00:10:51 funny because I lived at Broadstone Sobro, Brooke lived at the Haven. They're literally on like basically the same street like three or four blocks from each other and now we're going right in the middle. So like I'm basically... You're back on Broadway. It's right where booth camp was. It's over. Yeah, you're gonna be
Starting point is 00:11:07 back on Broadway. That was when I met Mitch. You were there this weekend. You were literally there this weekend. For like two hours. The text I from 12 to 2 a.m. No, it was like... It was only there for two hours. because Brooke had friends in town and like one of her friends I met in Cal, uh, when we were in San Diego and, and, uh, and, and so she, like, she was in town. So we just went and said, what's up?
Starting point is 00:11:33 But yeah, I was only there for like two hours and then just went home. Uh, briefed this weekend. What's everyone doing? Mitch, I hate to say it, but I'm at kid rocks. And Gary, you said, you are kid rocks. And then Mitch said, I am the wave. What time is that at? 4 p.m. yeah so it was like from three to five i was down there's a casual just a clear by two hours on broadway is like a good amount of time no i know but it's not like two hours in general is no but it's not like i was like down yeah it's a long time i had maybe like just a quick Oppenheimer on broadway like three beers like it wasn't anything that i like it was going down there to have a night right what'd you end up doing that night
Starting point is 00:12:14 what did i end up doing that got banged up with the boys what you mean Broadway No, I think I... Got fucked up. I think me, Gabe, and Fowell just... Hey, it's us, the Jonas Brothers, and guess what? We have some big news. What's the news, name? Huge news.
Starting point is 00:12:29 We created our own podcast called, Hey Jonas. We invented a podcast? Well, we didn't invent it. We just contributed to it. We're the first people to do podcasts. Pretty, yeah, pretty wide range of podcasts throughout there. But this one's extra special. So how do we actually come up with a name, Hey Jonas, guys?
Starting point is 00:12:47 I honestly don't remember. I think it was on a call. about what we should call it. Well, we were thinking I'm originally calling it one of the early names of our band before Jonas Brothers. This is how you guys remember it going down? Yes.
Starting point is 00:13:02 I have a very different memory of this. We were talking about a thing, a bit for the podcast, people could call in and say, hey, Jonas. And then I wrote down on my little notepad, Hey Jonas, and offered it up as a potential title for the podcast. But thanks for remembering that, guys. Listen to Hey Jonas on the IHeart Radio app, Apple, podcast or wherever you get your podcast. Just listen. We don't care where you hear it.
Starting point is 00:13:24 Last night, a blown call changed a game. This morning, the internet lost its mind. Highlights are trending, opinions are flying, and nobody's telling you exactly what happened. That's where Sports Slice comes in. I'm Timbo. Every episode, we're cutting through the noise, breaking down the plays, the controversies, and the stories behind the headlines. We go straight to the source, the athletes themselves, their locker room stories, their reactions, the stuff nobody gets to hear. The laughs, the drama, the triumphs, the moments that never make the highlight real. From viral moments to historic games, from buzzer beaters to controversial calls, we break it down, give you context and ask the questions everybody wants answered. Sports Slice brings you closer to the action
Starting point is 00:14:03 with stories told by the people who live them. Listen to Sports Slice on the Iheart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcast. And for more, follow Timbo Slicelife Life 12 in the TikTok podcast network on TikTok. The French Open is one of the toughest in tennis. And I know firsthand because I competed there myself. I'm Renee Stubbs, and on the Renee Stubbs tennis podcast, I'm breaking down everything happening at Roland Garris, every match, every upset, and what it really takes to win on Clay. Jenchian win. I mean, she went down in three to Rabakina, but I'm delighted. She's an outsider to win the French for me. And she likes Clay.
Starting point is 00:14:42 Listen, Lina Rabakina is arguably the best player in the world right now, and I actually can win on any surface because if she's serving well good luck consider this your court side seat to the french open listen to the rene stubbs tennis podcast on the iHeart radio app apple podcast or wherever you get your podcasts presented by capital one founding partner of i heart women sports video games and watched tv doing that after broadway so funny how what when you move away from the boys are you going to be like over there playing video games like what are you talking like when i move out especially like mostly from foul yeah yeah so that's that's a conversation that fow and i had had and i was like dude and that's why y'all are like we're like soaking in the last it's like a divorce
Starting point is 00:15:28 but aren't you all like kind of like in a beef oh they squash they squashed i mean that beef met lat maybe and i will get in the beef for like three hours and then yeah like i mean just three hours one hour longer and you were on broadway yeah that's what i'm saying but like it's just like your boys. I mean, I'm sure you and Jack get in Bees all the time. And like, within two days. And then we just show up at work together. Yeah. But no, I did. I was like, foul, I am worried that I am never going to see you again because we live in the same house and I'll go a couple days without seeing you. And he's like, dude, I don't know what you're talking about. Like, that's crazy. Damn. I have minor beef with Jared.
Starting point is 00:16:03 Okay. Yeah. Switching topics. I did not get the sign. Can I guess? Switching topics? Does it have to do with this Healy's? Yes. What? Does it have to do with our bench press competition earlier? Yeah, I kind of have minor beef with Jared as well Can you just admit? You're mad, I'm feeling a little better? Like, fuck. Oh, no. We just got to figure out what type of person you are.
Starting point is 00:16:26 Neither one is a wrong answer. Can you explain the situation? We were doing a 135 bench press competition to see, not even a competition. We're seeing baseline tests where we're all at. Jared is getting into working out. And he was a great sport. and lifted the weight.
Starting point is 00:16:44 Then he felt something in his hamstring, and he thought that it could have been maybe a little serious. We talked him down from it. I'm not even going to explain it. Talked him down from it. He was like, okay, I feel better about it now, but he was feeling it super tight. And then the minute the Healys came in,
Starting point is 00:17:02 he's flying around the office. Ripping around. Adrenaline for the helies, but not the bench. Yeah, I hate the bench. I don't know what, like, does your leg hurt right now? I mean, I don't love it. It doesn't feel awesome. Like, do you want me to say like, oh, I lied the whole time?
Starting point is 00:17:17 Like, I didn't. Did you? No. Did you see why we're asking? Yeah, but it's like, I'm not even going to. I don't know. It hurt and then like it's still kind of hurts. I got excited for the Healy's.
Starting point is 00:17:29 In Jared's defense, the Healy rush is real. The healing. I mean, I was out there like, I thought I was not a fall over and crying. I was just like, fuck it hurts. We just don't want a fake injury. You weren't going fast enough to crack your head. You came back from the bench. And you were like, ah.
Starting point is 00:17:43 Dude, when you got wheels. That was a minute after. It's been like an hour and a half. When you got wheels on your feet, there's adrenaline. Almost two hours. It's been a while. In the Broadway scale. It's been a whole Broadway trip.
Starting point is 00:17:54 Yeah, I don't know what to like, I don't know. It hurt. It still kind of hurts. So are you hurt or you injured? I don't know. Y'all are making it into hurt. I don't know.
Starting point is 00:18:03 It just like, can I not just say like, ow, that hurt? I wasn't like, oh, guys, give me to the fucking hospital. I was just like, fuck that hurt. You should come in with some crutches. I overthink shit. I was freaking it up for a second. Sorry for bringing it up.
Starting point is 00:18:15 I sat down. It's not that big of a deal, dude. Y'all made it! I want to take back the sticks. No, what? I want to get back on the sticks. No, you're a vital piece of this. G.
Starting point is 00:18:28 My beef's not with you. Yeah. Well, I came to your defense, don't forget. I'm going to put those Healy's on after this, though. But the next topic, moving on from that. Will's daughter, she had her first day of school. We were talking about a little bit earlier. Do y'all remember your first day of school, like K3 kindergarten?
Starting point is 00:18:48 Nope. No, no, no, no. Jared? Okay. We set this up. Earlier when we were talking about kindergarten and pre-K, I texted my mom. Because I was like, because Ruth's three. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:19:02 I was like, oh, that felt young. I don't remember the first day of pre-K. And I was texting my mom was like, when did I go to pre-K? It was like around three. But the whole point was then, like, after she was just like sending me a bunch of like pictures of me and pre-K. Should I send it to everyone? We'll pull it up.
Starting point is 00:19:16 We will actually... No, y'all have to see it because I promise you this is the top five funniest photo you'll ever see. Let me just send it and inside the bus. I just want all y'all's reaction
Starting point is 00:19:23 and we'll put it up on the screen at the same time. It is the craziest picture. While he's doing this, it's all the album that his mom sent him, Jared made the joke. He's like, this looks like a more fun party
Starting point is 00:19:35 than one I've been to in the last like five years. I mean, the photos are insane. We look like we're like, ah, like looking like we're drunk. But then this is not that picture. This is just,
Starting point is 00:19:43 It was Jared's birthday. My birthday in pre-Ks. How old? Like whatever the normal. I forgot what she said, but like the age ended up not being weird. But just look at that picture. And zoom in on my face. I am way too happy to be getting that stank.
Starting point is 00:19:56 Dude, this is. Oh, my God. I am happy to be getting that staked. Looking back at it. Oh, my God. I look back at it. Dude, when she sent it and I opened it up and me and J.P. saw it in the car.
Starting point is 00:20:07 We could not stop laughing. He was this teacher about to paddle you? She's like rearing back. She's stepping into it. I don't want to say another word about this. Just send it when we're on the bus or inside the bus. Jared Smirk is. He created like a new group check on him.
Starting point is 00:20:21 Yeah. I got a contact in here that just says, oh. Yeah. You send this to some random person. Who's O? Who's O? Oh,
Starting point is 00:20:31 does it have a number with it? Oh, okay. That would have been hilarious. I don't know who that is. Bro, but Jared Smirk. Oh my gosh. Did you actually get him spanking? Yeah, like your birthday spanking.
Starting point is 00:20:42 Yeah. Like you know the. Oh. play with it. Like you're five. Someone investigate that teacher. Hey, you know,
Starting point is 00:20:51 Jared walked in there was his birthday every day. Don't worry. Dude, we could not have much of a story about it. We were just dying laughing at that picture. Yeah,
Starting point is 00:20:59 I just made, yeah. I just look, I look way too happy to be getting those birthday spittance. I'll do like first day of school for each year
Starting point is 00:21:07 and like pictures in front of like a specific. No. Maybe. I don't even remember. Mine was, mine was, Until I was in senior in high school, my parents missed it. It was actually pretty funny in my senior year because it's like me, my brother who's like perked out hates our family.
Starting point is 00:21:21 My younger brother who's just like trying to get out. We're holding it together. Did you, did so you did do it senior year? Yeah. I feel like my mom was like senior year like you're going to college. You got to do it one last time. I think I have one from moving to college, but I don't I don't remember any of like. Hey, let me take this photo of you.
Starting point is 00:21:40 You're going to school. It's weird because my mom took pictures. just everything, but we didn't do that. I was telling JP, I have like that, like when I brought it pre-K to my mom, she sent me like, I mean, that album. Literally, I have like 100 pictures of that's cool. That has a lit album. She's in the classroom.
Starting point is 00:21:52 I'm like, why were you there? Like, we were partying. Birthday. It looks, how we're going in. I got the rest of the pictures there. Everybody's got a little bit of sweat on them too. Everyone's like sweaty, like arms over each other like, like us on Broadway. Like those kind of pictures.
Starting point is 00:22:05 It looks like that, but we're all. Diverse classroom too. Like, was this still? But this is the first time you used. Georgia? Was this still in Georgia? Yeah, Georgia. When was the first time you saw a black person?
Starting point is 00:22:17 The other side? Dude, his class is fully, it was like probably 50-50. I mean, my high school. It makes sense. Someone might correct me if there's one person from Tifton listening to this. I feel like it was like, I think white people were the minority. I would like to think. You were on Scali in high school.
Starting point is 00:22:32 It was mostly like black people and then Mexican mostly and then white people and then we had like five Asian kids. And then Beeman. Then Beeman. His own race. I think there were five or six kids. There was like six or seven kids that I went to high school with that were not white. Really? Predominantly white because we're just in the middle of nowhere.
Starting point is 00:22:59 Speaking of where you're from, Taylor Swift from where you're from? Yeah. Let's get into her. Why aren't you leaning on that? I do. I mean, like when Matt was the whole spiel thing with real spiel was going on with him, Like that was like that would have been my way of talking to her. Like oh so you're from he went to why I'm missing high school like we played them in high school.
Starting point is 00:23:21 And like that's how I would have like started talking to her. But she I think she was only there. I don't know how long she was there because of what I've heard she's only there for like two or three years. Yeah. Yeah. That's I thought she'd go to high school here. Yeah. She went to Hendersonville.
Starting point is 00:23:36 I think. So you imagine going. So she was like. Hendersonville. She was in like. She was legitimately in Redding. Kind of crazy how they spelled it on that clip, though, right? It's spelled reading.
Starting point is 00:23:49 Yeah. But that's how you spell it. But, like, she was on, like, there's two sides of Reading. There's, like, the dark side, the bad side of Redding. What does that mean? Whoa. It's like, Redding is actually, has actually shown up. Like Red and Blue or?
Starting point is 00:24:03 No. Well. Crime. Crime. Like, it's, like, early 2000s. It's a lot of murder, right? Yeah, early 2000s are like, like, like, like, late 2000s that they was like top 10 like in crime rates and murder rates in the country it was like
Starting point is 00:24:18 a really bad city and then so like that's like we're reading high like lonnie walker and rip hamilton that's where he they went rip hamilton and then uh why missings on the other side of reading which is like very and then that's where taylor swift went and that's where taylor swift was from that's interesting how did you feel about the youtube comments on the most recent vlog where they're talking about the philly cheese steaks yeah so i mean I mean, I was going to say, I've never said, we went to gyms. Yeah, we went to gyms. Which objectively was great.
Starting point is 00:24:48 So it was good. Well, like, so I was telling, I think I was telling chef this. And it was a cool vibe. Yeah. Yeah. I was telling chef this. Because he said he tried Delisandro's when he went up to Philly, however long ago. And he said it was kind of mid.
Starting point is 00:25:02 And I was like, you can, you can talk to 10 different people from Philly. And seven of them will give you different answers for cheese sticks because they're literally all over. the place. I said Gino's and Pats and that's what everybody was coming after me for in the comments, but I said Gino's and Pats because it's like the most touristy option. Is that the one that's like ride across the street with each other? I don't think Ginos is bad. I had Pats once and I didn't really like it. But I said let's go to Delisandros, but logistically it was like 25, 30 minutes completely out of the way. And we were kind of on a bit of a time crunch so we didn't want to go out there. So I was like, Jim's is right here. This is my dad's.
Starting point is 00:25:41 favorite spot. Let's just head here. And I mean, it's a great fun. What street were we on? Oh, I have no idea. We were in the gay borough, though. The Gaborhood? Gaborhood. That's what it was. That's where our hotel was. What was the street? Not Broad Street. Hey, it's us, the Jonas Brothers. And guess what? We have some big news.
Starting point is 00:26:00 What's the news? Huge news. We created our own podcast called, Hey, Jonas. We invented a podcast? Well, we didn't invent it. We just contributed to it. We're the first people to do podcasts. Pretty. Yeah. pretty wide range of podcasts throughout there. But this one's extra special. So how did we actually come up
Starting point is 00:26:17 with a name, Hey Jonas, guys? I honestly don't remember. I think it was on a call about what we should call it. Well, we were thinking I'm originally calling it one of the early names of our band before Jonas Brothers. This is how you guys remember it going down? Yes.
Starting point is 00:26:35 I have a very different memory of this. We were talking about a thing, a bit for the podcast, where people could call in and say, hey Jonas. and then I wrote down on my little notepad, Hey Jonas, and offered it up as a potential title for the podcast. But thanks for remembering that, guys. Listen to Hey Jonas on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcast. Just listen. We don't care where you hear it. Last night, a blown call changed a game.
Starting point is 00:26:59 This morning, the internet lost its mind. Highlights are trending, opinions are flying, and nobody's telling you exactly what happened. That's where Sports Slice comes in. I'm Timbo. Every episode, we're cutting through the noise. down the plays, the controversies, and the stories behind the headlines. We go straight to the source, the athlete themselves, their locker room stories, their reactions, the stuff nobody gets to hear. The laughs, the drama, the triumphs, the moments that never make the highlight real. From
Starting point is 00:27:25 viral moments to historic games, from buzzer beaters to controversial calls, we break it down, give you context, and ask the questions everybody wants answered. Sports Slice brings you closer to the action with stories told by the people who live them. Listen to Sports Slice. On the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcast. And for more, follow Timbo Slicelife 12 in the TikTok podcast network on TikTok. The French Open is one of the toughest tests in tennis. And I know firsthand because I competed there myself. I'm Renee Stubbs.
Starting point is 00:27:57 And on the Renee Stubbs tennis podcast, I'm breaking down everything happening at Roland Garris. Every match, every upset, and what it really takes to win on clay. Genshin win. I mean, she went down at three to Rabakina, but. I'm delighted. She's an outsider to win the French for me. And she likes Clay. Listen, Lennarabakina is arguably the best player in the world right now.
Starting point is 00:28:18 And I actually can win on any surface. Because if she's serving, well, good luck. Consider this your court side seat to the French Open. Listen to the Renee Stubbs tennis podcast on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. Presented by Capital One, founding partner of IHeart Women's Sports. This is where we stayed on. Right, right. But that street was popping there.
Starting point is 00:28:40 Jim's is on. Jims, John's. Jims. I forget what it's on. Yeah, I don't know. I would have done my order differently. I did the provolone. You got to get the whiz.
Starting point is 00:28:50 Yeah. No whiz. Provolent with the whiz was. Prodian. I thought he was going to put provolone on top. Oh, yeah. I thought Provolone was going to go on top as well. No.
Starting point is 00:29:00 Because, you know, when you get them here, like, where they're like, when I order my part of my cheese stick. Like, Provalon's on top. Yeah. I remember my part in my cheese stick and I pull up to an applebee's, it tastes great. It tastes great. Oh yeah, I guess we do need No shots
Starting point is 00:29:13 We need to discuss The viral clip going around, Jack Oh yeah Well Josh Is this Is it like anything you've ever experienced before? Uh I don't know
Starting point is 00:29:27 I can't like pinpoint another circumstance Where this kind of feels the same I wasn't expecting the clip to take off As well as it It's going to perform But yeah it's going crazy Shout out you for editing it Yeah it feels good
Starting point is 00:29:39 I mean, Mitch, Mitch gave me like a four-minute clip, and then he had a bunch of stuff yesterday, so I cut it down to about a minute and a half, added, you know, your edits and your music and stuff. Some sauce. And, uh, I don't know. I honestly, I, the only hateful comments I found were on TikTok, they were, they were crucifying me.
Starting point is 00:30:00 And I don't know. Like, I don't know. They're just like, fucking Jack ruining an episode again. And I was like, yeah, I'm like, go back to them. Which one did I ruin before? What did I do? But the only thing I can kind of feel good about is one of the TikTok comments was like, you as like an avid office watcher, like I totally get why he did that.
Starting point is 00:30:22 You all good? His vape fell. But yeah, truly like I just, whenever the office is on, like I have YouTube TV, if I just want to put the TV on because I just like to have like extra noise on, the office is most likely on and I've seen it through back in front many times. And so I should have known in the moment that the trivia question, so to say, that I thought Josh was prompting, it was way too easy. It's like if you've seen the office once, you basically know like who sits across from Stanley. But yeah, it was, it was tough.
Starting point is 00:30:57 It was brutal. Honestly, I think I'm more of a hero than anything because that podcast in real time was excruciating to be around. Yeah, that was the highlight. Because nothing could happen. Yeah. So, I mean, I carried the episode. I have to carry that weight on my shoulders, but yeah. Will and Taylor downstairs, you're just, what?
Starting point is 00:31:15 But no, like, I feel like, I get you, like, jumping in and saying, because it's like, oh, like, we're talking about the office. Everybody loves talking about the office. Like, oh, it's this. And then you're like, but it's like, it has me. So obvious, though. Like, it's like, there was not one serious question. What I want to know is, what is he doing at home to just practice these layups?
Starting point is 00:31:35 Dude, the 50, when they go pivot from 52. He goes to trying to get him with like 50s two and then goes to who's the best NFL player and then hits and has Patrick Willis his number off the top of his head and just ready. And I swear that that was going to get them. I know. Because in my head I was racking through and it hit me and I was like Patrick Willis, but I was like, I'm not going to say anything. Back to back bombs. Oh, that would have been brutal. And you know, and you know Taylor doesn't really know ball like that.
Starting point is 00:32:00 So he's not going to. I mean Taylor literally. And he's like, I don't know. And then Will was like, I know who it is. I was like I know, but I'm not going to say it in fear of. Do you think Josh is like getting Haley on these dick jokes at home? Because that would be hilarious. Maybe it's one of those things where she's like not at home.
Starting point is 00:32:19 Every like leave, keep it at the office. Right. Do not bring that home. Yeah. But who knows. But he has to. If anything, he just gives the look of like. Gotcha.
Starting point is 00:32:28 Like, he never finishes the joke. Yeah. I think what hurt the worst was that after a few hours of it being online. yesterday someone from my kickball team post that in our group message is like oh no jack and like it's serious to them like they're like dogging my ass and i was like i'm the best player in this team i'm gonna leave the fucking i won't show up tonight uh but yeah speaking that we do start our kickball season next week so double header to start it off show out yeah we won this past season
Starting point is 00:33:01 which was nice my leg is is feeling shaky i think i'm just old now. Put the helies on. My IT man has been killing me. I'm hoping one more week will give me right in the preseason form. But shoo, yeah, brutal, brutal mistake that inevitably helps the whole brand. And it doesn't hurt, you know. I mean, it shook up the internet a little bit.
Starting point is 00:33:26 Yeah, definitely did. Gave me a few followers, which is always nice. But there's always some mean people. There's some like people out there trying to like get in on the joke too. sure yeah oh god some people are saying that we're stealing yeah that is interesting you know there's the constant
Starting point is 00:33:43 battle that we fight with pardon my takes fan boys the AWLs they consistently say we steal bits and like there's truth in it but the funny thing is on this one like these guys get seriously upset
Starting point is 00:33:57 like while they're sitting at their desk jobs like working whatever commercial real estate right and they're just you know defending guys they've never met in their entire lives. And the whole thing is they got got by a room 40 joke on Josh Allen. And then we post that coincidentally 40 minutes after we post ours yesterday. They resurfaced that clip out of nowhere.
Starting point is 00:34:21 So in their heads, they think that they started that. But unfortunately for them, J.P. Hovey cooked Rob Tunyon on a room 40 joke. How years ago, almost a decade probably. Yeah, years ago. I mean, probably before. I don't even know, were you working here at the time, Mitch? That was right before I got hired.
Starting point is 00:34:39 So it was literally only me, JP and Garrett were working here at the time. So that's over three years ago. Yeah, but the AWLs, you know, they don't have enough time to go research that, but they have time to have our- J&6 us. We refuse to any chance. Type it on chat, GPC, it'll come up. Yeah. And so, I don't know.
Starting point is 00:34:56 I'm not in the business of like who stick is who. I'm in the business of like laughing at a good dick joke. Yeah, why can't we all just enjoy it? Yeah. Isn't that the whole idea? Sometimes you give them. Sometimes you give them. times you get them.
Starting point is 00:35:06 Yeah. We're not going to punch down at part of my take. I'll be getting them. But, you know, life goes on. We're not going to hear in like holders. Sure.
Starting point is 00:35:14 Jack has fun. That works. I feel like since we're talking about Buffalo, we have to talk about being in Rochester. Yeah, sure. Go ahead. Rochester ripped.
Starting point is 00:35:28 Mitch. The only fun part, I feel like, I mean, outside of like camp, I didn't get to go. I had a little, uh,
Starting point is 00:35:35 mishap with my type 1 diabetic if all the uh w ls here don't know i hope y'all feel bad for making fun of them now yeah exactly but i'd go pick some stuff one of them is going to come out and be type 1 tomorrow and but yeah then they went to a restaurant where apparently everyone in the town was just had a was waiting yeah y'all can take that one we literally walk in and some dude was like dude i saw your saw your guys tweet i live right around the corner like just thought i'd pop in and hopefully i got i got to see you guys. So everybody was super nice, but also at the same time, everybody lived right around the corner,
Starting point is 00:36:08 which I thought to me was like, yeah, I just live a couple houses down, just wanted to come over and say what's up. Everybody was super nice and then the one, I forget the guy. I mean, the place we were at Tri-on. Try on. I always say Tyrone, but it's definitely not Tyrone. That place definitely
Starting point is 00:36:24 had the feel of the neighborhood spot. Right. So it made sense that they all walked there because the parking lot was empty, but when you got inside it was full. You walk into a place and I immediately said it to Taylor. I'm like, this is a place where people get banged up. Yeah. And probably don't have to pay for their tab.
Starting point is 00:36:41 Yeah. It's just like at the end of the month, just kind of like. Stumble home. Yeah. I've got to worry about drinking and driving or anything. They just send out their expense reports to the people that come like, guys, this is the number we got to meet this month. Thunder. Was that thunder?
Starting point is 00:36:54 Yeah. 15 minutes pause on the podcast. That sounded like metal. Quic, Kopp and Imer. What, um. The Fandle commercial dropped. Yeah. I do.
Starting point is 00:37:05 I love that you pulled the, your stylist photo. Yeah. Something, something big is no. Coupe had to face. That's what I was going to say. And there's more lore to that story, too.
Starting point is 00:37:16 You with the shoulder. Oh, the shoulder thing. What, what lore are you talking about when I made the video for Jared? Yeah. I didn't know that until yesterday.
Starting point is 00:37:23 Wait, what? The, like, meme video that I posted. I made one for you when you were like off, like half of you was cut off at the UFC. Sorry I didn't pick up on. Hey, it's us, the Jonas brothers. And guess what? We have some big news.
Starting point is 00:37:35 What's the news, name? Huge news. We created our own podcast called, Hey Jonas. We invented a podcast? Well, we didn't invent it. We just contributed to it. We're the first people to do podcasts. Pretty, yeah, pretty wide range of podcasts.

Listen to the Renee Stubbs tennis podcast on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. Presented by Capital One, founding partner of IHeart Women's Sports. I had no play in the group chat. So I was like, I'm going to repurpose that one day. And it worked.
Starting point is 00:40:15 And I knew as soon as we filmed that commercial, I'm glad that we got. My shoulder was going to be the only thing of me in it. We got styled. That's why you've been getting them yoked. Yeah, I know. I had to get my shoulders ready for that commercial. Is you all impressed by the bus animation? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:40:27 I think the commercial is. Fire. That was crazy. Dude, it was like, there was no part of it that was like even remotely not impressive.
Starting point is 00:40:36 Like, I don't know how else to word it. It was in. No, it's very, very, very good. If someone offered me
Starting point is 00:40:42 $100,000 to figure out how they did that technical, I don't even know where you start. Yeah. Is it even a computer? You all remember when another thing? Do you remember when we saw the unfinished version? We were like,
Starting point is 00:40:51 oh, that's kind of, right. Right. It's kind of, it was rough. Oh, damn.
Starting point is 00:40:56 Yeah. No, it was crushed. J.P's delivery was money. I am a little disappointed. My leg didn't get the solo shot because Taylor wore my leg out like 20 times. You spent a good on that shot of your leg getting hit. Has anyone seen it? For what? Has anyone seen it on TV? No. One person sent me one that was like, hey, just saw it on TV. Oh, I didn't know. I had two people text me about it. Really? I have yet to see it. Because what it's on like a lot of channels, right?
Starting point is 00:41:20 Apparently it'll be on big new kickoff. It'll be on game day. It's on WWE events. What did you say? BETT. Hopefully sick. It is. Oh, it is? It's on the list. Let's go. I'm going to get back on VET. BET's got some good stuff, dude. Martin. What you know about that? Martin?
Starting point is 00:41:37 L loving basketball? Catching Kelsey, right? I never really watched it. Is that on BET? Just kidding. Y'all go watch that Taylor Swift episode. I heard they're struggling getting numbers on it. I saw that it was like the last 28 days.
Starting point is 00:41:55 They had gained like 2000, 45 followers. In the last 48 hours, it was like 300,000 plus. God. She, what do you guys think, like, the numbers are going to do
Starting point is 00:42:07 in the first day, hour? Is she the most polarizing figure on the planet? I don't know about polarizing. That was, I've never used that word. I've wanted to use it.
Starting point is 00:42:17 I really just wanted to use it. That might be Donald Trump. Yeah, I would definitely say Trump is. Okay. But most like, the definition now. Most,
Starting point is 00:42:23 not even recognize, she's like, she doesn't do media. Right. No long form media at all. There's, most likely it's her first ever podcast. Like you see like the interviews and stuff like that. But like, see, we're going to do a fucking podcast. I think the whole lore is that after the whole Kanye situation, uh, whatever, uh,
Starting point is 00:42:40 Wardshut that was. Yeah. She went on say she'd won this. I think after that she went full recluse mode for like a decade. Like she's like, unless you see me on a tour. She said good. Yeah. Watch this.
Starting point is 00:42:51 I'll show you. I'll be the. And then look what happened. So, but I can respect it because like there's going to be people. Like, no matter how cool of a situation may be, like, especially if you're a huge Taylor Swift fan, people are going to find a negative way to spend something. Right. And I saw one of their promos. She was like, if there's anything the NFL fans want to see more of, it's me.
Starting point is 00:43:09 So it's like, I like to know that she, like has a good sense of humor. I love that clip. That clip was funny. I feel like she's going to come in with some like ones and twos. Like she's going to be like hitting these guys. I think she's going to be funny. Yeah. She was going to grow her fan base that much more.
Starting point is 00:43:22 And like all of the NFL fans that obviously do watch catching cows. I do watch New Heights You're gonna be like okay You would like to think to be like okay I respect her now You're right I mean you I feel like with her
Starting point is 00:43:38 You gotta respect Like you might not like her But you got to respect it Some people are just I mean you know People are just hating to hate Am I sure Is she ever done
Starting point is 00:43:46 Anything to not like her Like why do people not like her Because they don't like her Fans Yeah that's honestly It's because it's for like It's like girly girl shit And yeah
Starting point is 00:43:55 We got 35 year old showing up to her concert with diapers on so they don't miss you are right man but it's like that's not podcast for having I'm doing that this year for Titans games that's not her fault because she's successful and it's like people are mad and she's always on the TV it's like do you think she's given
Starting point is 00:44:10 notes to the camera guy yeah sure and that's like she probably hates that she might be but her team is calculated though her team is good dude yeah people out there don't know like when she was kicking it with us like she's cool she's fun like she's actually a cool girl you got to talk to her right yeah yeah she introduced me to her friend
Starting point is 00:44:26 who everyone was going crazy about on Twitter The fact that she was there with her friend that night It was like some big deal She was in she was in the song 15 Yeah I think we talked about this Abigail gave something Didn't I met Abigail so Did this Swiftie fans like pretty much
Starting point is 00:44:42 Record that clip of you like talking on here about it Like they even found they found They found this podcast I hope they clip this out of me defending her Hey Swifties did y'all just hear me a second ago For like a window I was saying like why do people hate her This week's stuff
Starting point is 00:44:56 Same on my social hands. Yeah, and it's Jared Beeman on YouTube. This week's thumbnail just needs. Yeah. Yeah. Seriously. I have to. Because they are. I have to review that.
Starting point is 00:45:05 Because that comes out tonight, right? Yeah. I think it's going to. That's what we're competing with. I might break the internet. I don't know if it'll be as big as Trump on Rogan, but I think it's going to be up there. I think there's a chance that it'll. Are you actually going to listen to it?
Starting point is 00:45:18 I mean, they had four and a half million likes on a single Instagram post. And she's got the global. Fellas, I think I'm going to listen to have a house to post. I'll probably want to have clips. I'm going to watch it. I'm a Swifty now. Clips. I like that.
Starting point is 00:45:33 Yeah, I think I'm going to, I'll be a clip consumer for this. That's all we need. We'll see. Yeah. He's up here. The one and only. Hey. Oh, let's go.
Starting point is 00:45:43 Hey. There are some people talking in here. Hop on the pod. We're going to have to get you on for an episode here soon. Can we get you confirmed a three hour pod with us? What? What? We'll start low an hour.
Starting point is 00:46:03 Set looks great. Gritty. You should have seen a week one. It was nothing. I follow y'all. Let's go. I'm going to come check my boys. I just want to say what's up.
Starting point is 00:46:17 Let's go. Everybody out there. The lady's back. He's back. Dee is back. Let's go. The mule is back. Holy shit.
Starting point is 00:46:26 The mule is back. Appreciate it, D. Later, bro. So, Trusel. Next week. Next week and every Wednesday for the next HINN, the RFK Jr.
Starting point is 00:46:37 Five months. The Bail was back. I'm so excited. I'm so excited. He's back for the, every time he comes in. It's just story after story. Even today, I mean, he was talking,
Starting point is 00:46:50 he went to the weekend concert. Yeah. He went to the weekend concert. I didn't even know that was happening here. And he said it was late. Yeah. Yeah, I mean, his production is insane. I feel like it's been a few months.
Starting point is 00:47:00 since we've seen him too. Coop went to the weekend concert in Miami one year. I did. Oh, for the Super Bowl. No. But it wasn't, it was in Miami.
Starting point is 00:47:08 Wasn't that it? Didn't he perform? That was a Tampa. Oh. It's crazy Super Bowl halftime. I did go to a weekend concert war. Oh, yeah. It was a few years back though.
Starting point is 00:47:16 It was just back when he released an album. But yeah, I didn't even realize the weekend was here. I'm a weekend fan. Dude, so I was talking to deline about that. The first two albums are gas. I need to get wrong because my roommate will play some weekend songs.
Starting point is 00:47:28 I'm like, oh, this is fire. And it's like, It's like a song I've never heard of it. What's that first? Well, he used... Yeah, he used to have, like, some raunchy songs, but now, like, he's more...
Starting point is 00:47:36 Like, the weekend, people don't realize, like, he's not, like, on Taylor Swift's level, but, like, for everyone else, he's, like, almost, like, the tier below Taylor Swift. Really? He's huge, massive. I don't listen to him that much, but, yeah, he is huge. Abel?
Starting point is 00:47:49 Like, yeah, globally, he's, like, I think, in, like, top three or something. Yeah, he always has some surprising records. My college roommate Jackson, he would... He always swore to me. He's like, no, dude, he's like, he's bigger than Justin Bieber like he is the next Michael Jackson
Starting point is 00:48:03 and I said okay like he can be good but that's going too far he can't dance his last at all yeah but his last few albums he was like he's got to bring that hair back number one in the world before Taylor Swift started doing music again I don't even know that timeline
Starting point is 00:48:17 dude not to bring it back to her but she has this one song if y'all heard that song that's like are you ready for it are you ready for it bang that just that little drop Yeah. Someone played that one time. I was like,
Starting point is 00:48:31 this is Taylor Swift? Like she's... Are you ready? Come and get it. No, not, dude, she is this one
Starting point is 00:48:38 that it turns into like a dust set. It's like, are you ready for? It's like, it's like, bro, you want to talk about a music video that wrecked me
Starting point is 00:48:46 when I was, I don't know when this song came out, but can't keep my hands to myself by Selena Gomez. It was like the theme song for the Victoria Secret Angels that year.
Starting point is 00:48:56 And they were all in the music video. Yeah. I'm like, I don't know if I was in college or high school, whatever, but I'm seeing that music video. I'm like, what? Salina, dude, on the note of Selena Gomez, shout out, Lil Dickie got married this week. Little Dickie got married.
Starting point is 00:49:09 Yes, and Selena Gomez and Benny Blanca, they posted a picture from the wedding. And everyone thought they got married. And if you, like, keep swiping, little Dickie got married. Bro, he's so good. I don't know. Big Dickie. I don't have much on it, but we got to get Dave on.
Starting point is 00:49:26 Any Dave fans out there? My name's, Dave. We're all happy that he found love. He finally found love. Is that little dicky? Dave? Yeah. He was looking for love on the tour in the show and he found it.
Starting point is 00:49:35 Neesh reference. Is that show coming back or are they done? He said that he... Little little dick in the back in the bitch. He said he's not writing anything now. He said he's like done with it and he's going to finally give his fans the album that we've been waiting. The rap one? 2015 for.
Starting point is 00:49:46 The rap one? Yes. He released one album in 2015, got famous and then never made another album again. He released an album? Genius. Like two years ago. No. From the show.
Starting point is 00:49:54 He just was all songs from the show. I thought it was going to be an album too. I was so excited. And then it was just, I mean, it was good, but it was the soundtrack of the show.
Starting point is 00:50:00 Got you. It was the whole versions of those snippets, which they were good. Easy money. God, I'm so excited. I'm such a big
Starting point is 00:50:06 little dicky fan. Yeah, you pull up his XXL. Cipher all the time. God, dude, yes, so good. We can move off that topic. You said Selena Gomez,
Starting point is 00:50:14 which is my first thought that she was at his wedding this week. Chef, can you hear the rain? That's kind of an oxymoron, right? You're a big little dicky fan. Yeah.
