No cliches, no sugar coding, just host analysts from someone who's actually been there. Coco looking real good. Her serve looks so much smoother than it has in the past. I was really happy to see eager, back to what she looked like a couple of years ago when she was winning dominantly.
Starting point is 00:03:18 Listen to the Renee Stubbs tennis podcast on the IHart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. Welcome to week one of the locker room, fellas. We have officially made it to week one of college football. Your piss is going to be hot because there is a Fandul is doing something incredible for everybody out there. This is global, fellas. Fandul is a presenting sponsor of this show.
Starting point is 00:03:46 number one sports book in America, America's number one sports book, before I tell you all of the goodies about Fanduel. Make sure, responsible gaming, responsible gaming, responsible gaming. You can go to fandole.com slash play with a plan or check out the responsible gaming section in the app to learn more. Now here's what is happening. College football pick them. There's going to be a tab in the app. It's going to have the boys we pick games every week. We're going to have 10 games in there to where you can pick against us. those bets are going to be free. There's going to be a slate of 10 games.
Starting point is 00:04:21 You're going to get 10 free bets against the spread. If you happen to clip one of us, you're going to get a profit boost token. If you are somebody that goes 10 for 10, 9 for 10, if you're part of the top of the leaderboard, you are going to split a share of bonus bets of $500,000. What? Did I land that? Did I land that, Jesse? I can say Jesse's name.
Starting point is 00:04:43 We just can't look at them, right? Yes. We just can't see him. We can't have money. May not be here. May not be right. Conspiracy theorists throughout the entire world. They believe the earth is flat, 9-11 inside job.
Starting point is 00:04:54 What happened is it? That's global. I am now a conspiracy theorist that CT does not exist because the way you just handled that. You have to be careful saying that. Okay. Hey, we played. So I think it's all good.
Starting point is 00:05:05 It's funny. Yeah, it's funny. But now I'm on the on the customer of like, is it real? Because the way you just processed the information when the cameras were cut and then brought it out to the public, you're fully operating. And hey, but it doesn't seem.
Starting point is 00:05:16 Like, you might be better from it. Doesn't seem like you rehearsed it at all either. Yeah. That was first take. We were trying, yeah, yeah, we were going through it. A part of me was a little confused, but then Jesse did an incredible job of articulating what was happening. And I was like, let's just get the fight started. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:05:31 Because that's what's happening this weekend. And it shows how much Jesse believes in you because at the end of your conversation, you told Jesse stay by the mic. And Jesse just turned around and walked back to his seat over there. Nothing to do with it. So that's how you know, Jesse was like, woke off and has us in the back. Like Jesse does, he can't speak on the show, can he? I don't know that any rules exist. It's just kind of been made up in the comment section.
Starting point is 00:05:50 Because I was ready to call him Tommy by keeping him close to the mic because I don't want to disrespect anything going on to Josh Bay College Football Show. Oh, you were in a tight ship? Very tight ship. And you were the only one that's the show. However, Jesse's a conspiracy. Like, nobody even knows if he's real. Jesse is the conspiracy.
Starting point is 00:06:03 Sometimes he walks in the way he's dressed. I'm like, I don't know if this man is real. Yeah. But here, here's what I want to know. So this means people have to root for our demise in order to win. Yes. That's really what this boils down to. Yes.
Starting point is 00:06:15 It's a great way to build camaraderie. Everybody out there is thinking, all right, will he see? He's done for. Right. We're fading them all week. Like I had the TCU bet last week. That ended poorly. Josh was praying for the Hawaii betters.
Starting point is 00:06:27 I did go in on that and they lost it in the last drive. Bumbled and they took it back to the house to cover four. Yeah. But again, week zero, those games don't matter. They don't, the league zero does not matter. And you want to know what's crazy. Tell me. The most rewarding season of your life is not stopping.
Starting point is 00:06:46 with just those fandos, college football pick them, profit boosts, if you beat one of us, getting a share in a sum of $500,000. We are also doing giveaways on this show. Every week, the locker room will be selecting three people from the comment section. Three people, correct? And again, stay close to the mic,
Starting point is 00:07:07 if I butcher any of this, but I am going to the card on this one. You're going to have a chance to win Fandil bonus bets determined by the Fandul reward, the Fandual Reward Board. All you have to do is leave a comment on the latest locker room video and include your ex-username, make sure you're following at Fandul
Starting point is 00:07:26 and have a Fandul's sportsbook account so they can reach out to you to win. Again, we're choosing three supporters. We can't say numbers right now. We'll have more details for you next week. I promise you, you are going to want to be involved in this. We can promise it's a lot.
Starting point is 00:07:42 We can promise it's a good grip. Right. You're going to want to leave comments. We had 300 plus last week from last week's episode. You're gonna wanna be leaving comments. And again, all you gotta do is follow a Fandul, have a Fandual account, and drop your ex-username in the comment section.
Starting point is 00:07:57 And also say something nice. Maybe you get a better chance to win, who knows. I don't know who's selecting. It will be randomized, but it's gonna be a lot of fun. Last week we had, there you go, Josh, Taylor, whoever wants to, because I can't read this one out loud. Ooh, seems like a little hate state there. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:08:11 Done and crew group. Go ahead and read it, Josh. You're already giggling at it. Willie C. These are not my words. These are the words of Drew, but something, 91, 76. Willie C is a real-life example of the Dunning Kruger effect with his bets.
Starting point is 00:08:24 I don't know if he's at the peak of Mount Stupid or the Valley of Despair, but I'm here for it. So Drew is salivating right now. Like, oh, go 10 against the spread, free bets against Willie C to get some profit-based tokens. He's got to watch a show
Starting point is 00:08:36 and be like whatever Will picks, that's what I'm going. He's going to lose this. We got really, I like what we got going on. I don't love the toxic relationship we're putting ourselves in with the audience. I really don't. Luckily, we have Bussing and Pate on campus on Fridays,
Starting point is 00:08:51 two, three, Eastern Time, if you're on ESPN. We have that. So maybe there's an opportunity for the audience to hate us on Wednesdays. And then Fridays, it's just good vibes. We sit back, we pretend like all the nasty things that were sitting in the comment section. We didn't see him when we all saw every single one. Yes, Josh Pate. Alternate theory, since you're into conspiracies, of course that could happen. Of course, that's the easiest way to go about it. What if we're a little more bitter and a little more antagonistic than that. And what if we secretly see everything bad that said about us all week? And then we use the global airwaves of ESPN on Friday to just flat out attack people
Starting point is 00:09:26 who have attacked us. I'm just saying if that were to happen, there's nothing in the FCC against that. We get to produce that Friday show. It's us for an hour. Who knows which direction we could go? They unfortunately gave us the keys to have some creative direction of the show. There is no laws put in place that says we can. Canter cannot do that.
Starting point is 00:09:43 So basically you're saying Lane Kiffin is also correct and align these NFL players. I'm with all of it right now. Just take your shot with the water gun, but just know we've got a bazook on Friday. I love that. Yeah. Are we ready to rock for Friday?
Starting point is 00:09:54 Yes. I do have, oh, for Friday? Yeah. Yeah, we're getting close. I think we're getting close. Hey, we're in game week. I see that in your face. Like, we're on, it's Wednesday.
Starting point is 00:10:05 We have a padded practice. Right. There's still some hay to put in the barn. There's install being going on right now. But excitement is there. I'm excited for week one. I'm excited for week one of our show on ESPN. I am looking at the coaches that we don't have
Starting point is 00:10:18 and being like, what's the game plan this week? And I have 70% of it in my brain. I'm like, okay, I feel comfortable about 70% of our show. The other 30%? I believe, I'll bet on us every single time. Yeah, you're just thinking, is that situation going to come up in the game? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:10:34 And how are we going to handle it? And I think we'll handle it with grace. Yeah, yeah. And in worst case scenario, we got Josh. You can just sit back and be like, Josh, do something. Say something poetic. If it goes, like, the way I see this game. It's a show.
Starting point is 00:10:48 And three blinks happen or two blinks happen. Whatever the pause is, that's when you've got to know. You got to, I got to get in there. The hamster's officially off of the wheel. And if I don't jump in, four seconds later, our boy just reverts to, and we'll be right back. Exactly. Yeah, yeah. Just a random commercial break.
Starting point is 00:11:06 Jesse, get the commercial. I'll just apologize, guys, it's happening. We've got to go to commercial break. We'll be back right after this. We were doing our intro on the bus Monday, and the things that were coming out of our mouths, I looked at Will and all the boys in the back of the bus, and I was like, I can't believe ESPN has allowed us to be live.
Starting point is 00:11:21 Yeah, that's not Friday quality. No, no, no, no. This is Monday stuff. That's Monday. But you get all the stuff out. And then you figure out, okay, what did I like for Monday? None of it. Okay, we'll put that on the show.
Starting point is 00:11:30 And we'll just keep it pushing. Should we share the information that we had a all-encompassing Zoom call the other day with an unnamed ESPN executive? And that unnamed ESPN executive was clutching a baseball bat on the Zoom camera. Yeah. And it wasn't part of any bit. He just literally had that much nervous energy about putting us on air.
Starting point is 00:11:48 Should we share that? We shouldn't share that. Okay, never mind. People can tune in. Yeah. We also shouldn't talk about the fact that one of us on the call said, hey, executive, are you nervous about anything? His words said no.
Starting point is 00:12:00 But the bodies, the body's, the poiling, the eyes were like, he's really concerned about something. I assume he has a lot going on. He's not going to put that on us. He's probably thinking about his production team. Sure. Did this really happen to where production team, it sounds like you gave them all the keys? And they kind of know some of the answers.
Starting point is 00:12:18 They don't know all of them. For our comfort level here, what we do at ESPN, I don't know if I'm fully ready for what could take place on Friday. The good news is we'll all find out. Together. We're all going to find out together. There wouldn't be two other guys I've rather do with. Same thing they said on the deck of the Titanic, buddy. We're going to all find out together.
Starting point is 00:12:36 God, I can't wait. We should get into it? We can get into it. I do have a question for Josh Pate. You might be curious about it as well. Sure. But we know Josh Pate in this stance, we're going to be unapologetic
Starting point is 00:12:48 for how much we love college football. One of those seeds, one of those priorities in the Josh Pate college football world is the fall wedding season. I have a question for Josh because we're going to tailor for his kids that have a birthday party, a Pokemon Bash.
Starting point is 00:13:07 Pokemon, collect them all. Pokemon Bash, Shadow River with the boys. On Saturday, it's in the middle of the afternoon, would that be considered decision-making time for people who love college football if they get invited to said college football or said Pokemon Party? I guess it really would only boil down to
Starting point is 00:13:31 if the person in question's alma mater that he started at Left Tackle for that he says he'll die for was playing a big game that day. But surely Michigan doesn't have a big game next week, right? So surely, you know, they're off or they're playing Western Michigan. Like surely. Michigan this week. Surely they don't have a big one next week.
Starting point is 00:13:51 Surely. Now, now, now if I want to just, if I want to give an op, throw an op. Yeah. When did you come to realize we had birthday party? This party was happening on week two of college football and what sparked in your brain. There's multiple things that have been said in the last 45 seconds that I'd love to respond to. Okay. The first thing is, when did you come to know that this, this,
Starting point is 00:14:13 party was going on. I'm sure at some point my wife's brought it up to me more than a dozen times of when this party is going to happen. It was last week. This is no fault. Yeah. Of Taylor Morgan LeWan. No fault of hers. But yesterday, and this will tie into the last thing you said. Yesterday I sit there and I'm like, hey, wait, when is the birthday party? But keep in mind, my kids' birthdays are in July. We had a third baby, pushed it. August came. I know. There's always a reason to celebrate. There's always a reason to celebrate. Always a reason to celebrate. And it's like, we had to get it.
Starting point is 00:14:45 It just happened to end up on week two of college football. I go, Taylin, we got a massive issue. We messed up really bad. She said, what happened? I was like, the kids, their birthday parties, week two of college football. She's like, yeah. And I was like, Michigan plays Oklahoma. Like that is, I've said it out loud.
Starting point is 00:15:04 That's the defining game of our season of like where I can see us going. Like, I have to watch that game. She closes her eyes, takes a deep breath, and puts her hand on my shoulder and goes. shoulder goes. That's why I moved the party to 3 p.m. because I know the game's at 11. Shout out to him. Is that my people? And the whole
Starting point is 00:15:22 the whole party being on a fall that sucks. On a fall Saturday. That's a bad move. And you're kind of cucking my birthday. My birthday's the next week. That was what I was going to say. The next week. Yeah. That was what I was going to say. Like I'm in birthday
Starting point is 00:15:38 month mode right now. Birthday months? What are you talking about? here. Birthday month is nuts. But listen, I just said to get out of that pocket. Jared's got a birthday.
Starting point is 00:15:49 Yeah, the night. The night. And Brett. And Brett. What is the point of all this? I don't know. I'm just bringing those things up. I'm surprised you're not going to be in attendance.
Starting point is 00:16:00 I am too, but I'll be on it. There's a birthday party. And I legit. And that was one of those moments like a month ago. And I was like, hey, when's it? Oh, Oklahoma plays, I would love to take the kids to that. But there's the birthday.
Starting point is 00:16:12 but there's a birthday party. And it didn't cross my brain that you're doing a massive disservice to most of the guys who are going to come and show up. Shout out the boys who don't even have kids. They're just showing up for the love of the game. Prejudge you, you coming Saturday? Yeah,
Starting point is 00:16:24 no, I'm actually going to hold it down for you up in Michigan. Somebody's got to actually be in the office. I thought the audience was going to be nasty. I thought the audience was going to be nasty on this show. Oh, God. Just when I thought I got out too with the 11 a.m. kickoff in the 3 p.m.
Starting point is 00:16:39 And I'm thinking 1.0. He comes in and now it's 3-1, I blinked. That's tough. You just pick 60 with that one. Should we get to the game? There were a couple more because this is actually a good question from Drew Simon. If we missed the Bussing and Pate live show on Fridays, can we catch it on YouTube later? I'm not the guy to ask for that.
Starting point is 00:16:59 Nor am I. Yeah. Well, Jesse. Don't ask us. Do we know? Jesse and I are going to both please the fifth on that right now. So the answer, Drew. There are rumors.
Starting point is 00:17:10 Can we talk about the rumors? I don't know if we can go to the rumors yet. Don't even talk about the rumors. Okay. Drew, maybe. Maybe Drew. Maybe, Drew. You'll find out.
Starting point is 00:17:20 Can you watch Get Up on YouTube after your time? Clips, like, moments. So I want to say there's probably going to be clips available. Again, great question, Drew. We will try and figure that out for you. And then you got Trick Daddy 55. The new set is Beautiful Boys. That might be the last nice comment we get on this show.
Starting point is 00:17:36 For real. Even amongst ourselves, it does look good, though. Yeah. But that example right there is how you can leave comments. leave your ex-username along with having a Fanduil account and following Fanduil. That's how you can participate in the details to come for next week, starting next week, all the giveaways are going to be doing all season long. All right.
Starting point is 00:17:54 Okay, I got to stress. We cannot go two and a half hours again. We cannot let that happen. Let's get to the actual show. First things first. The Ford Leaderboard. Just explain the Ford Leaderboard. Here's how we're doing games this year.
Starting point is 00:18:05 This Ford Leaderboard segment is presented by Ford. A hard day's work starts with one thing. someone willing to do it and where there's a will there's a Ford F-series truck. We have, somebody's calling me, let me go ahead and ignore that. It's units-based. Confidence level, one to five. You get one five confidence bet every show, right? One-five confidence bet and you hit the table.
Starting point is 00:18:33 But everything is units-based. So we're going to be talking about games. If Clemson LSU, if your confidence level is low, you place one unit on. it. If you love a situation in this Clemson LSU game and you want to pound the table, again, you can pound it one time throughout the show, but you can go up to four units confidence level, one to five, but it's all confidence level, it's all units based. We'll be tracking it on our, I guess it's going to be a graphic in front of me, the four leaderboard that's taking place. The four leaderboard. So to be clear, we are picking the games like we've always picked them.
Starting point is 00:19:06 Yes, sir. The only difference is we're attaching a confidence apparatus to it. Yes, sir. You can go anywhere from one unit to four units in confidence, but once per week we have the option to bang the table, and that's our five-unit confidence bet. However, there is risk there because if you lose any of these bets, you lose the amount of units that you bet. Yes, sir.
Starting point is 00:19:28 Come on now. Yes. And it's like any game, too. Like if there is a spread that was minus three and a half, and you wanted to go money line. You're placing whatever amount of units on that, but you're obviously taking the minimum. risk involved with that. So your units, all the math will be displayed on this four
Starting point is 00:19:44 leaderboard. I love the idea of this. I also don't love the pocket I'm in because I feel more confident about these games than I ever have in my entire life. In week one? I feel more confident than I ever have my entire life. I haven't been hurt yet because week zero doesn't count. So what if I was on TCU last week? You know you are right about that. Foreign soil. You are right. You having as much confidence as you have, which one would you like to start with? Well, we'll start with, I believe the game we're probably going to. Clemson at LSU. Which one is the real death valley. Everyone is wondering this game will probably decide that LSU currently is favored at 10 and a half points. Total in that game is 50 and a half. We're all sitting here thinking
Starting point is 00:20:22 Lane Kiffin, right? It seems like a no-brainer. It feels like a no-brainer. You have to tread to tread on Saturdays. The only thing I will not do is tread on Saturdays. Or Dabo. Are you going to tread on Dabo? I have so much respect for Dabo. This is what someone says before you're going to pick against them. I have so much respect for Davos winning. Two national championships. Clemson was a dumpster fire before. Comes in, does his, you know, fall camp press conferences saying we're a bunch of nobodies. We will hopefully we have somebody at the end of this whole thing. Chris was in it, like the only sample size we have of him, what 300 yards, three touchdowns, no interceptions. Kids been a study. Got two great wide receivers out there. And it's like, okay, like maybe there
Starting point is 00:21:04 could be something that goes down. But I sat here last week with LSU pounding the table. about being SEC champs playing against George in that game. And I'm not going to falter now in week one with Sam Levitt. Yeah. Who 49% of his touchdowns came from pressure with a blitz coming in his face. Him breaking the pocket, the talent he had to deal with the ASU. Now he's got a 50 plus million dollar roster around him. Trey Des Green who's been in a gold jacket or a gold jersey, non-contact jersey.
Starting point is 00:21:32 Harlan Barry in the back, five star. Every wide receiver he'll be throwing to is an upperclassman, except for Winston Walken Jr., who might be the best. one of all of them, a defense that absolutely rips. Blake Baker he was kept on. So no, I will not be picking Clemson. So pound the table. I love, I love, no, no, no.
Starting point is 00:21:51 That's the type of, just first one out of the game. No, this is the type of stuff that happens. Let's slam that hand. I am very excited about this. People want us talk about confidence, what about all the distractions that took place? Distractions are facade, dude, it's all a lie now. What?
Starting point is 00:22:06 It's all a lie. Hang on, hang on, I don't think you can go that far. What? There is a shit ton of distraction. A facade. What was more distraction for LSU right now or old miss in the playoffs? We would all say old miss in the playoffs. They handled distractions just fine.
Starting point is 00:22:19 They made it to the semi-final game. They hate to bring up Michigan. 20-23. Penn State, Ohio State. No head coach there. A lot of distractions taking place. Everyone said, oh, they're cheaters or this and that. National champions.
Starting point is 00:22:31 If I could just push back on those two, those were also two teams that had a lot of continuity. They played together. Like they understood who they were going in the game. into these big moments for the rest of the year. This is a, I mean, yeah, LSU's gonna be very good this year. They have the potential to be studs in the SEC. But there are a lot of transfers. There's a lot of moving pieces,
Starting point is 00:22:50 a lot of first year moments with this team playing together, a lot of studs. I'm just saying I feel like distraction-wise, like that element compared to the two examples you brought up, like they're, you know, they're a little different. I love the analogy, but I'm like, those two teams also played together. But there's a sample size for all the things you brought up.
Starting point is 00:23:07 We're talking about Texas Tech. Look at last, Look at last year. 45 transfers last year. Everyone's like, oh, how are you going to get a team, have continuity, best team sport in the entire world? Playing the big 12. Yeah, playing the big 12.
Starting point is 00:23:16 No, no, that's how. Just playing the big 12? Oh, you're saying just because you play in the Bay 12? I'm saying it helped. It helps for sure. This is Dabo Sweeney. This is a two-time national champion. Yeah, that's great.
Starting point is 00:23:26 This is a team that had nine draft picks last year and what, what, seven and five? What were they? Seven and five? Yeah, but who's counting? He says J.P. Hovey, Gamecock, enthusiasts. That vein was, like, that vein was. climb and I'd like to see that vein continue. Well, all I'm saying is they couldn't, they couldn't run the ball last year.
Starting point is 00:23:44 Okay, so they've emphasized it. Neither could LSU, by the way, but you're just magically convinced that they can run the ball. Clemson famously resistant to the portal, went and got two starting safeties in a corner. They can actually run sub 5-040s, and now they start back there, so maybe they can defend the past a little bit better. It's just you're really quick to discount a legend, is what I'm saying. Oh, guys, don't put me in this. I've already, I started the thing by saying, I have so much respect for Dabo.
Starting point is 00:24:09 not start with that? Sounds like you have a respect to Dabo's Wikipedia page, but you have respect for what Dabo was, but it doesn't sound like you're in love with what Dabo is and frankly, still could be. I have so much respect for the delusion of Dabo Sweeney. And I think every great, every great athlete, every great competitor needs to have a level of delusion where he goes in and the messaging is amazing. Guys, everyone's sleeping on us. No one's picking us on the ACC. We suck. Last time this happened, we won it all. We were unranked. All. the things. The OC that was there back then, he's back here now. We're going to do all these amazing things. Tosh Boyd, the Kibikos? Yeah. Which besides you. When I come of LSU, it's like, yeah,
Starting point is 00:24:48 LSU couldn't run the ball last year. So they got eight transfers and the number one transfer guy in the portal in Seton. And so they're putting a massive emphasis on that. The only question mark you really have on their defense is their interior defensive line. And they were, they were two five-star guys. One was the number one defense alignment in the country as a prospect. The other one was the number one athlete. Oh, so you're saying they're starting multiple true freshman up front? that's what I'm saying multiple two is multiple when the crowd is rocking which you will be in death valley in the middle what's that they got a safety from Boise state who people are saying
Starting point is 00:25:17 first round pick time of guy they have athletes all over the field like they're they Clemson has great wide receivers but I'm going to take Sam Levitt over Chris Fizzina and a shootout if that's what it comes down to I'm going to take more talent over a team that doesn't have as much talent just plain and simple like you look at it you put a line down the middle who's better on both sides of the ball. LSU wins that. Lane Kiffin, they want to talk about what happened last year with Ole Miss and how he had all these transfer guys and all this money putting the team. But when he got to Ole Miss, he didn't have that.
Starting point is 00:25:48 And they were still a top five offense in the SEC. So it's like as much as Lane Kiffin is his polarizing figure, is still a hell of a head coach. Yes, sir. Has he won a Nuss championship? No. Yep. So last year, speaking to the comment section, some people thought that you may have folded under pressure when people really pressed you on the points you were making.
Starting point is 00:26:06 I don't know if you read the comments, but some people said that. Was that your burner or something? Bottom line is, that's what the comments said. Okay. So I really thought it was important. In fact, a lot of us thought it was important for someone on the set to press you really early this year. Because what I think is, I think you made some phenomenal points. Thank you.
Starting point is 00:26:22 I agree on most of them. But I'm not taking the other side because I don't really feel good about a side at all. I kind of think the number's right. I kind of think LSU by somewhere between 8 and 12, 10 and a half kind of splits that. I'm looking at the under. The under at 50 and a half is what I kind of like here. Shit. Because I could definitely, definitely see a world where Clemson cannot get any traction
Starting point is 00:26:47 offensively. And it's like 30 to 6, weird kind of game. I could see a game where I could see Clemson winning the game because it's week one so anything could happen. But if Clemson won the game, it would be a lower scoring game. So that's in my pocket. And then the third one is I could kind of see LSU just sputtering out of the gate a little bit. And it's this weird LSU shooting itself in the foot, Clemson limiting possessions, grinding out
Starting point is 00:27:10 some drives. They can move the sticks a little bit because they got younger guys up front for LSU defensively. And it's just, it's an LSU win, but it's kind of an unconvincing win. You feel like they left a lot on the table. And it's like 23 to 16. So I think there's a lot of under potential here. So I do lean LSU to win the game. I don't know that I lean them to cover necessarily.
Starting point is 00:27:33 I love under 50 and a half. That's a good pig. Can I say? Where are you at with the units? Found the table, Josh. Clump, we can't do half units, right? No half units. Two units. So you were trying to do half unit.
Starting point is 00:27:47 I feel it's a solid two and a half. But since I can't do that, we're going to yield to the under in week one and I will go two units. Four your under is the bowl. Give me three units. Where are you? Three units. On LSU minus 10 and a half.
Starting point is 00:27:59 Yes. I felt really good about it. Really good about it. But can I just say one thing? You're in mid-season four. I'm making you better. No doubt. You've made me better on the show.
Starting point is 00:28:11 There's no doubt about that. But for you to come at me and then me defend myself and then you go, good job, son. It was kind of bullshit. And I feel like that it had to be said that that was kind of crazy the way you're in of it. Somehow, once again, bulletproof paint comes in, comes at me. I defend myself and you're like, good job out there. Love what you did there. goes to zero and you're like, nice work. Pat me on the ass and got out.
Starting point is 00:28:36 Sounds like you're saying, sounds like you say, we're in midseason form. Maybe. Which leads us to the third pick in this game. I think I'm going confidence meter is a one unit and I'm going to take Clemson plus 10 and a half. Why? It's a long shot. But if, it's a point spread. Hey, what the hell is that? But if Clemson is going to win, but if Clemson is going to win this game, they're going to have to be able to run the football. No, they did not do a good job of it last year. But I see a world where LSU comes at. It's like last week, you know, I'm not comparing all, I'm not comparing TCU to LSU. But last week in the North Carolina TCU game, like TCU, they have more talent. They outmatched, they outmatched North Carolina. But North Carolina,
Starting point is 00:29:23 able to run the football, play a clean game, traveling across season, and only having two penalties. and TCU staying in there shooting themselves on the foot with 10 plus penalties. I could see that sporadic game from LSU for as much as like, you know, it could it be a shootout, could it not? Some of those drives just end early because of the uncharacteristic things that LSU is kind of doing to themselves. A lot of true freshman in there where I don't feel good with betting on, again, that's one of my confidence meter is one, but I am going to go Clemson plus 10 a half because I feel like the line is long. having underclassmen on your offensive line,
Starting point is 00:29:58 a lot of these newer faces on Clemson's line of scrimmage, dude, it is going to be so loud at Death Valley. And just to play into the true freshmen, starting on the interior front of LSU, dude, you know how chaotic it is when you are out there playing. Like you being on offense, but it's extremely loud to where you're trying to get, whether it's a cadence,
Starting point is 00:30:20 you're trying to make a shift, you're trying to kill a play. but defensively, if a Y motion happens, you got to kick the front or you got to change a blitz or you got to get out of a blitz or you're doing a coverage check to a formation with these younger defensive linemen and the young cats that they have playing on the line of scrimmage for LSU, I could see that being an issue to where if Clemson, again, all the firepower, all the talent, all of that stuff favors LSU. But you know as a player as you're going into the foxhole of this game, which I feel like Dabo's
Starting point is 00:30:52 Probably, I'm just assuming, based on the way he is culture-wise, you're going into this game knowing like nobody is fucking picking us to win. But we're going to go one play at a time, one series at a time. Don't get caught up in shoot-ups. Don't get caught up in trying to play catcher. Don't do any of that. Let's just go one play at a time. And if you can clip these guys from four yards at a time to where you have third and manageable,
Starting point is 00:31:15 you can make this a game going into halftime. Then you're in a fist fight in the third quarter to where, who knows what it's going to be in the fourth quarter. Could it flip the other way and LSU runs them? Yeah. But I love to believe in Clemson walking in their backs against the wall with all of the mess going on around LSU, all the distractions all offseason leading into this week one.
Starting point is 00:31:37 We don't even know if they're going to get these NFL players. Like that's going to be decided tomorrow. So I'm going to go Clemson plus an half. And my confidence meter is a one. But just trying to paint the picture of how Clemson goes in there and either keeps the game closer, or even get it done. and there's chaos week one of college football.
Starting point is 00:31:54 Man, that's the way you want the game of the week pick to go. You got people on opposite sides, someone bailing and just taking a total. No agreement whatsoever. That's how it should be. It's a great start to the show. It's a great start to the show. I just have a hard time thinking LSU is not going to be what Lane Kippen's offense has been since he's forever. He's always been successful.
Starting point is 00:32:15 And you have the operation distractions. They don't really have that. They've never really had like an undisciplined team. and that he has more talent than he's ever had in his entire life. You're right. And Kiffin and like Bull Stabs, very experienced. But, dude, we're going to be standing there when the ball kicks off. And the crowd is going to be deafening.
Starting point is 00:32:33 And it's just, it's a different element when all the bullets are flying. And you're running through the sideline. Maybe you mess something up. Maybe you're younger player. It kind of gets into your psyche. Maybe you're just missing calls. All the yelling that takes place and goes on. Like, it's going to be chaos, bro.
Starting point is 00:32:46 And it's going to be who handles it the best. Wait a second. Have you been to a game at LSU? Yes. At night? Yes. We were at the LSU Florida game. Okay, so you know what you're in store for.
Starting point is 00:32:55 Yeah. Okay, I got you. Because a lot of people haven't been down there and they haven't experienced that. And they think sometimes, oh, this night game at LSU thing, nighttime and death valley gets overhyped a little bit. Nope. Loud.
Starting point is 00:33:08 Especially this one right here is going to be insane. The expectation is going to be so high for land. Yeah. To where Klump brought this up earlier this morning. It's like there's a, I see the moment of, It's the first quarter Sam Levitt just threw for a second touchdown, third touchdown, whatever it is. They're up. Three.
Starting point is 00:33:25 Three. Three. And Lane's got the visor on just hitting them of one of these. We're going to keep it fucking going, boys. Yeah. We're not slowing down here. He loves it, dude. He is an agent of chaos, and he's all about it.
Starting point is 00:33:37 And the anger and the hate fuels him. Hey. It fuels him. Hey. What if that attitude persists, but that Clemson secondary really is upgraded? And they've already taken two of them back to the house. And it's dabbo looking across the field saying, keep doing it. Keep trying, bud.
Starting point is 00:33:54 That would be elite. Yeah. I mean, I would say that and be like, yeah, I look like an idiot in locker room, but this is awesome. This is what you want to see, man. Where we have it to next, Willie. Let's kick it to Wisconsin, Notre Dame. Playing at Lambo.
Starting point is 00:39:20 Notre Dame favored by 20 and a half points against Wisconsin. The total on this game, the over under, is 47 and a half. 20 and a half is a lot. 20 and a half is a lot of points. Not enough. A lot of points. Not enough.
Starting point is 00:39:35 I agree with that statement. But you've said statements to me before and I've read it a certain way and I've been wrong per our text a couple weeks ago. Yep. So are you saying Notre Dame needs more points? I am saying I would lay up to like 26 with Notre Dame.
Starting point is 00:39:50 I love, talk to me. I love that. I hate the spot for Wisconsin. And as you guys know, because we did our preview episode a couple of weeks ago, I'm not even down on Wisconsin. I don't think Fickle's going to get fired. And if you did, I would take him tomorrow. I think he's a really good coach. I just hate the spot.
Starting point is 00:40:05 They're not healthy on the offensive line. They'll probably get some guys back. But I think we're playing the long game there, the smart long game. Like I think Wisconsin is going to get buried in this game. I could not find a path. And trust me, I tried. And also, you sometimes think, oh, well, you know, don't you want to pace yourself? Like, this is the kind of game where if you know you got it in the back, it could be 23 to 6 final.
Starting point is 00:40:26 And Notre Dame, no, there's none of that. Notre Dame has limited opportunities to get big resume moments this year because they have a soft schedule. So they know that they got to put their foot on the throat when they can. Also, this is the first time that you will have seen Notre Dame since some people think they got screwed out of a playoff spot. They are the some people. That's just fact. Not the only people, but they are the some people. I think they're going to run it up.
Starting point is 00:40:53 Wisconsin is going to have a very, very tough time moving the ball. So I'm taking Notre Dame minus 20 and a half. I'm actually putting three units on it. Yeah. A new PR. You got a new PR. New PR, yeah. I love everything he said about that.
Starting point is 00:41:08 I think Marcus Freeman understands like the politics and what takes place when it comes to the college football playoffs. And he, like, towards the end of the year last year, they started to figure it out where they would run up on the pit and all those other schools. And so you look at Wisconsin, and I'm sure in 2012 or 2014, whenever this game was scheduled,
Starting point is 00:41:25 all of us college fans were like salivating, like, oh, this is going to be an awesome matchup. Get to it. It's like Luke Fickle's fighting for his job. One roster is much better than the other. There's very little holes, if any, on Notre Dame. And they understand that if Wisconsin can go in the Big Ten and win four or five games,
Starting point is 00:41:42 then they look a whole whole whole. whole lot better when they donkey stomp them. So when it gets to is the line, are they winning by 21? Are they winning by 18? They run it up. They look at CJ Carr, they give them the nod, and he throws a deep bomb. And the fourth, fickles pissed. Wisconsin fans are pissed.
Starting point is 00:41:57 All of Green Bay is pissed because that's where they're playing. But Marcus just knows, like, it's not you. It's just we need the scalp to show off when we go into the college football playoff. And we've been, like, we've sat with Coach Freeman. We were around there this off season. Like, we've all sat and had conversation with Coach Freeman. Like, he's got it. Like culture, like these boys are going to be focused going in here.
Starting point is 00:42:16 Like, again, to me, this is the best defense in college football. Again, Tate Johnson, Shula, Jalen Sneed, Kingston, Bubakar on the defensive line. Like they have first round. They have blue chippers everywhere, man. And their old line is going to be nasty. Their one question mark, which I'm, you know, excited to watch this weekend is who's going to show up in the wide receiver room and their skill positions, who's going to be the next running back? Because their offensive line is great.
Starting point is 00:42:39 CJ Carr is going to be a stud this year. I like it. My confidence level is more. two for them to cover just because of spread, the number is 20 and a half. But I love Notre Dame. Like, I think Notre Dame's going to have a hell of a year. I'll stick with you on three. I think you brought up a lot of things. Another one to mention is like, we've played bump out, knockout with CJ Car. We've done. We played basketball with these. Something so simple is like, hey, we're going to have a fun little game. Like, we're all kind of getting to know each other.
Starting point is 00:43:03 The kid's eyes. The minute Ryan Nolan had him on the ropes for a second, it's like this, he only cares about winning. It doesn't matter if it's the smallest game in the world or the national championship. Like this kid is special. And just going off just a small sample of playing knockout, all of the guys that showed up for that, like the team continuity that it feels like Notre Dame does have is whether fact or not of them getting squeezed. Like they went through something together to where this locker room is very much intact. A lot of returning starters. Like they're out to take everything this season. It's going to start, in my opinion, with Wisconsin out in Lambeau Field. So I'm too confident. You guys are both three.
Starting point is 00:43:41 Notre Dame to cover. There you go. That's going to be one on the college football pick them or if you feel like Wisconsin is going to cover, you can be salivating right now.
Starting point is 00:43:49 Salivating. AAA stat. OG AAA stat just took place. Where do you want to move it to now? I think we should go to Louisville, Oleville, or sorry,
Starting point is 00:44:00 Ole Miss is favored at minus six and a half. Total points in the game is 55 and a half. You know I love our city. Absolutely. I love Nashville. Stupidest thing in the world
Starting point is 00:44:10 this game's in Nashville. I agree. Got a great home campus stadium up the road in Louisville. Got a great one. Iconic venue down the road in Oxford. And we're playing this thing in the last vestiges of Nissan Stadium before it's rubble. It's a disgrace. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:44:27 It should be good, though. Game should be good. I need somebody do what? Do you think the game should be good? No. Yeah. I think the line on this game is way too, way too close. I like, yeah, I like Ole Miss a lot.
Starting point is 00:44:43 Like, where Louisville is what they do well, especially based off last year, like Lincoln, kind holds, like, we can get into that. They have a very good athlete of quarterback. What they did well last year, they run the ball well, their front seven as far as stopping the run. I just, I look at both of these teams. I just think they're out, they're just outmatched against Ole Miss. Like, let's talk about, you guys want to get into some meat, some beef? I love meat.
Starting point is 00:45:08 Talk to me about beef. I'm not even going to say name. Like look at these look at the statistics the way and the height of the D lineman for Ole Miss 6 315 6 5 340 6 5 35 55 65 65 65 6 2 315 when we were talking about the interior of the D line for LSU like these guys are tipping the scale around 280 we have beef up front not to mention Perkins coming back is it for Rale for Rale Lou Forelli knock your knock your stuff stiff don't want to say anything to get us Oh, Kit Show.
Starting point is 00:45:41 Yeah, Kit Show. We'll knock your stuff stiff. Nice. Dude, I like best quarterback running back duo in the country. A lot of firepower offensively. I just like Ole Miss. I don't see. Now, here is how Louisville can just, the X factor is Lincoln,
Starting point is 00:45:59 Kindholz, but not for passing or anything else. Jeff Brom. He works with quarterbacks. This dude's a guru. Nine plus wins every year. Like, this is a phenomenal head coach. If Lincoln can run the football, like, That's kind of the X factor if you keep this defense, this front seven on their toes.
Starting point is 00:46:15 It's the quarterback play that comes involved in the run game. Because we saw it with Virginia against NC State last week. You have some wrinkles in there that you haven't necessarily seen. That could keep Ole Miss at bay. But if not, like this could be a potential Josh Bates splattering tweet. Hmm. I have not found many people who have made a career, a successful career, off picking against Jeff Brom in big games.
Starting point is 00:46:39 he was good at punching up at Purdue. He's three and two against top 12 teams straight up at Louisville. So he's good to pull these upsets. They'll lose a game they have no business losing, but they beat Miami last year. So they've been in these spots where we could sit there and look at each other and say, how's a Louisville going to win this game? So Jeff Brom's been a big X factor.
Starting point is 00:46:58 Don't like that they have a defensive coordinator calling this first game against Trinidad Chambliss. Don't love that. But I do think you were painting the path to, well, how would Louisville do this? I think the way they would do it is he's finally got a guy at quarterback who he could utilize in the ground game. He hadn't had that last few years. They have 174 carries from minus 12 at the QB spot last three years.
Starting point is 00:47:20 Sack yardage included, but still, he hadn't been able to incorporate that. I think in his perfect world, he would love to incorporate that. Isaac Brown's one of the best tailbacks there. So you actually have two really good QB running back tandums here. One of them is properly rated at Ole Miss. This one may be underrated for all we know. but I love the interior of the Ole Miss offensive line because they return guys there
Starting point is 00:47:42 and I think they match up really well when you factor in Trinidad Chamble's what he can do on the ground. Kiwan Lacey there, it just feels like there's so many ways for Ole Miss to win this. And maybe if you're siding with Louisville, maybe you're thinking
Starting point is 00:47:55 Louisville's got a chance to be sneaky here. Like Louisville, maybe people aren't taking them seriously. People may not be. I think Ole Miss is. I don't think this is sneaking up on Ole Miss at all. I think they've got the proper respect for the opponent. Not to mention, like, I think they'd probably smoke almost anyone who was put across from them in week one this year, just because they're finally ready to play a game
Starting point is 00:48:15 instead of talking about all the stuff they've had to talk about. So I agree with you. How many units did you put on this? I'm going four spot. You're going to four spot. Oh, wow. New record high of the locker room. Four spot. New record. That is a personal record. That is a personal record. That is a person. That's a record for all of us technically right now. Yep. I'm going to go with a three on Ole Miss. I'm going to tie a personal record. And I'm going to go three on old miss lay in the six and a half yeah i agree with you guys on the old miss i think jeff brom is like quietly making an acc contender he's never lost uh he's always won nine plus they're gonna yeah they're gonna be every single year and he's did this is like kind of his cadence like he gets a
Starting point is 00:48:52 veteran quarterback brings him in but what you look at you brought up the defensive line like the front seven is the strength of old miss defense and louisville's path to victory would be on the ground but when your front seven stacks up much better than, you know, Louisville's offensive line and running game. I just don't see them getting into a shootout. The German quarterback Lincoln, like he's throwing 34 passes in his entire career. So we don't know what he is from a passing standpoint, what he can get done. Trinidad, Lacey, they have what, the two, the two Syracuse transfers and the Auburn transfer. Like, they are one of the few teams that have a direct why, a direct reason why they're, you know, so passionate about this season when you have a lot of
Starting point is 00:49:32 You're trying to get guys to buy into the culture you want to bring. But all the stuff with the playoffs last year, being as close as they were with their head coach leaving them, and the OCs bouncing back and forth, all that does play a factor going into week one of how high they are ranked in the AP top 25. Yet no one's really talking about them, us included when it came to like who's going to win the SEC championship. And that's all more chips for them to have on the shoulder. I'm going to stick with three. But I like Ole Miss a lot in this game. I think you'll be able to tell what the game's going to be like pretty, pretty much.
Starting point is 00:50:02 early because in those first couple, whether it's the first 15 or scripted first couple series, like the run game wrinkle that they'll, that Brom will have in for Lincoln, whether it's pullers, quarterback design QB runs, RPO's, all the option game. If that has Ole Miss on their heels to where adjustments, we got to figure out these adjustments and we'll obviously we'll find out. But that's where you can see if Louisville is going to have a shot. If they kind of catch them off guard and the run game's kind of gash them early because of all the misdirection and the QB run. game that Lincoln will hopefully be able to provide. Because when you look at last week,
Starting point is 00:50:36 the way NC State played against Virginia, you can look at the rest of Louisville schedule it. They go on still to win 10 plus games. They're going to be good. Yeah, Louisville's got to go just straight military academy when it comes to their run game, triple option, and just all over the place. Just enough to keep them on their toes, man. Yeah. To where you're a little flat-footed at the second level, the DN might be chasing something that he shouldn't be chasing. Whatever it is, like you'll be able to tell what kind of team, you know, how Louisville can kind of punch him in the mouth in those first two series. What I want to know is, so you know if an old miss play breaks down. It's never over
Starting point is 00:51:10 until Trinidad Chambleus is on the ground because you know what he could do based off broken plays. I guess there's a world where maybe we're watching that game Sunday night and it's middle of the third quarter and maybe Lincoln Keenholz is just flat out a better athlete than we understood him to be and maybe he's done some of that. And you're saying, oh, that's how Louisville's in this game. Oh, that's how they have a three-point lead because you literally can't know. All you know, all his resume is. is I almost beat out Julian Sayan for the Ohio State quarterback job allegedly. That's his resume.
Starting point is 00:51:38 That's a good resume, though, if you don't really have a lot of experience to you. Yeah, it doesn't mean it's a weakness. It just means you're a huge question. Which might, yeah, which might actually be a strength. True. There's no shortcut for saving time, but saving money is simple. Just combine your car and home insurance with Bel Air Direct and save. Listen, I'm going to let Venus decide when she wants to retire. I'm going to let the tournaments decide when they don't want to give her a wild card because she still puts bums in seats. She still sells and people love to see her play.

Listen to the Renee Stubbs Tennis Podcasts on the IHart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get you podcasts. We interrupt this episode to bring you Jack Daniels. You've heard of Jack Daniels, but did you know they have multiple flavors of Tennessee whiskey? Jack Honey, Jack by name, honey by nature. Bold like Jack, smooth like honey. Authentically Jack and naturally smooth.
Starting point is 00:56:22 A little bit of honey and a whole lot of Jack. Jack Apple. Pick boldly, real crisp apples, real Jack Daniels, Jack to the core. Jack Blackberry, the only Blackberry bursting with Jack. Jack Daniels, shout out. All right, Baylor versus Auburn. This one's in Atlanta. Of course it is.
Starting point is 00:56:44 Yeah, Auburn's favored minus seven and a half total points in that game is 59.5 points. Is Sherm in the room? Yeah, well, he's here. Put some earmuffs over, Sherm. Put them down nice. What do we think, boys? Oh no. Love Auburn.
Starting point is 00:57:01 Love Auburn. I'm sorry, Sherman. Hey, you're my guy. Goose, for the dead. I mean, Baylor, DJ Lagway, five-star athlete? Dave Miranda. One of the defensive minds in the game. Look, I got you.
Starting point is 00:57:15 Bullets coming at me right now. Love Auburn right here. Coach Golish, getting to Auburn. I feel like it reminds me a lot of, again, little Nebraska tie. But when Bo Polini comes into the program after Callahan was kind of lighting it on fire, back in 07, Pellini comes in. And I remember when I was getting recruited, and Echler coaching staff would be talking to me when I was there.
Starting point is 00:57:37 It'd be like, people don't get that we landed on a gold mine as far as talent that is in this building. You just have to unlock it. You've got to put the right culture in place. You've got to have the right people in the building. And I feel like that is something that's taking place right now at Auburn because I feel like goalish is a stud. Top 10 office in the country, number one, a couple of years ago when he was with 10, Tennessee back-to-back offenses top 10 ended up being what top three with the USF last year in total offense. And as far as even let me stop before I go into tempo and everything else.
Starting point is 00:58:09 But goal is coming in retaining the D coordinator, DJ Durkin, and having a defense that was top five and stopping the run, a top 20 total defense. Having that and some of the continuity that they have, especially the second level with this Xavier Cad at linebacker, who is a stud all-American. I like where the defense is going to be at because again, you kept a piece that Auburn didn't struggle with. You tie that to goalish and the offensive play calling and everything else. A question that I do have because there are a lot of new faces across the line of scrimmage offensively at Auburn. But you're able to minimize that risk with the style that Golish attacks you with. As far as tempo goes, they're number one or two every year in tempo. As far as running tempo and I believe 40, 49 percent of the,
Starting point is 00:58:55 the time, that beats out the next best by like 6%. But knowing all of that tempo is there and they spread it out why, I think high-pull system at Tennessee, because that was one of the disciples with Golish coaching next to him. Having all that with Byron Brown, an athlete at quarterback, who's already been in the system who can win through the air and can win on his legs. And again, I think there's gonna be talent
Starting point is 00:59:19 that we just don't know about yet, that has been kind of stacked in the basement, kept in the basement at Auburn, that I think Golish is going to unlock, because you watch Golish all off season, whether it's OTAs, not spring ball, in training camp, any pressure he comes out with, he challenges his team. He doesn't pat him on the ass.
Starting point is 00:59:37 He's like, no, you guys have been drinking the Kool-Aid far too long here in this NIL era, everything else, where he's pissed about how scrimmages went, he's pissed about how spring ball went. He says, we're nowhere close to where we need to be to where he's publicly always calling out and challenging his team. Stayed in dorm rooms for a couple weeks. I don't know how much stock you want to put into that,
Starting point is 00:59:54 but going no distractions, we're going to build this thing together. I'm high, I'm like higher on Auburn, not to like win the SEC title. I just feel really good about the culture of Golish bringing that into Auburn. And that's why I love them a lot in this game because I think the line is, is low, clearly, with my confidence meter at five. I know. I feel a whole lot better for it was at six and a half. Do you disagree with anything that Wilcompton just said? I'd like you to go first.
Starting point is 01:00:20 You like me to go first? I agree with everything you said when it comes to Auburn. The biggest thing that he did was retain the DC. They're held, I think, every SEC team under 100 yards rushing throughout the year. They're anemic on offense. So roster retention was massive for goalish. The question mark does remain about the offensive line,
Starting point is 01:00:38 bringing a bunch of guys from a smaller program and seeing if they can be successful. And then I look at Baylor and Dave Miranda, he said losing seasons the last three or less four years. He's a defensive-minded coach, but his defense gave up 32.6 points for game last year. Their offense was top four in passing, but they gave up the most turnovers in college football. They were like, I think, minus 13 or 14 in the turnover margin.
Starting point is 01:01:04 And their answer for that question is bringing in DJ Lagway, who I am a massive fan of. I love DJ Lagway. I love his potential. I love his athletic ability. I love that he came from Florida. He did the big 12 media days and he goes, hey, I could have been a better leader. I could have handled myself better at Florida. I missed out on a big opportunity. I love everything about that. But then I just look at the numbers, the five interceptions against Florida last year. LSU. Was LSU? Yeah. He was at Florida. He was playing LSU. It was the worst thing I've ever seen in my life. He won that damn game. Yeah. And so five interceptions there, 14 total throughout the year. And you watch the film of Lagoe and it's like when the pocket's clean, like he'll get the
Starting point is 01:01:44 ball out and he'll put it in a good spot. He can throw, he can throw the ball truly anywhere in the field. He's a very special talent. But once the rushers can kind of get up on you a little bit, from the interior around the edge, his feet get happy. He feels it quite a bit, and that's where he gets really inconsistent with simple throws, like throwing out to the perimeter, quick slant, stuff like that. I can just see Auburn getting up quickly and taking advantage of dicey throws, unless DJ has just completely learned his lesson than is the five-star talent. But I'm with you.
Starting point is 01:02:13 I'm not five. I don't think I'm going five this whole entire week because I see myself being so confident all my pace. It's like, this is when they get you. Like, Taylor, this is when they're in the closet right now. Michael Myers is right there. So I'll go four on this. I like Auburn a lot.
Starting point is 01:02:27 I'm excited about it. I think I think Iran is staying in the barrel of the A gap right now, and it's not looking great. He's in the A-Gap. He is in the A-Gap. We're just going to see if he survives the A-Gap. Right. He's got Derek Henry coming downhill at him right now,
Starting point is 01:02:39 and he's got a choice to make. Does he move out of the way and make a business decision, or is he tuck his team? He's me and the sign in there when I got ran over by Rykowski. Yeah. With the Green Bay Packers to where he's ran me over. Is he going to fall and I get the tackle and I survived the A gap or is he going to keep going and I just I lost all control I lost all control hopefully a safety and clean me up later. So I'm I'm big on opera in this game. Wow. So it sounds like you love Alex Golish. Love Alex Golish guy. You're a pretty big Alex Golish guy.
Starting point is 01:03:07 To an extent. Oh, so you still got to see some things. Yeah, of course. Yeah. Okay. I'm a huge Alex Golish guy. I think you got to be careful loving a hire versus taking everything you love about the higher and baking it into your week one of year one prediction. Because that's what I've been careful of here. I don't want to be careful. Nor should you.
Starting point is 01:03:31 I'm not treading on Saturday, Josh. I'm not treading on Saturday. Is Josh taking away from our Saturday? I think he's trying to tell us to tread lightly. I'm telling you, I'm going to tread lightly. Or am I going to tread lightly? So you are right. I forget.
Starting point is 01:03:45 it's been a long time. Those were extended predictions. I forget which one of you talked about tempo. Yeah, you talked about tempo. So Auburn 119th in explosive plays last year. USF, seventh in explosive plays last year. You were right. I remember this. It's coming back to me. Baylor, horrific 130th in turnovers last year. DJ Lagway, horrific 14 interceptions last year. But the way college football works, the double negative equals a positive all the time. So I'm not necessarily going to say that this is going to make sense necessarily. I just remember stop me if you've ever heard this before. Like how many times have we been there
Starting point is 01:04:18 where we bake in a bunch of expectations with a guy? You know, maybe there's someone out there who predicted DJ Lagway to be the number one quarterback in the SEC and that person got burned and he should be scornful. You're cooking right now. And he should be bitter,
Starting point is 01:04:32 but he's matured. Oh. And he is a bigger man than he used to be. Wow. And he's looking at DJ Lagway and saying, you know, maybe I wasn't wrong. Maybe I was just early. He's that cuck.
Starting point is 01:04:48 The young man has an opportunity here. Yes, he does. It's back home. I've got an opportunity here because I am the hypothetical person. You are? I haven't burned that graphic. It still exists. It's wotted up.
Starting point is 01:05:01 It's in a drawer somewhere. But I still remember an era where I thought DJ Lagway could be a Heisman contender. I thought he could take Florida to Atlanta last year. I thought he was the best in the league. And now the league he's in is Baylor. But he's out of the straightjack. that he claims he was in. And he is playing for a head coach who only still has his job because he got his own professional stay of execution because his athletic director got in trouble
Starting point is 01:05:25 and got fired before he had a chance to fire him. Baylor shouldn't be. Nothing about this should be. And yet here they are going to Atlanta. No one on this set at least is given them much of a choice and much of a chance to win. And I'm thinking to myself, shouldn't that line be 14 and a half? But it's only seven and a half. And there's a lot of newness. Specifically on the offensive line for Auburn. I still got some questions about that. And I've listened to Coach Aranda. Some people will call him Dave, but I would call him Coach Oranda. I have respect for the guy who was the secret sauce, not Joe Burrow, behind the 2019 LSU National Championship. I'm playing around a little bit when I say that, so I don't want that clip. But we'll do you like ESPN. Yeah, yeah. Yeah,
Starting point is 01:06:04 you got him to delete. If they didn't delete that, we were going to have problems. Yeah, you said, no, we're not doing that. Don't get sidetracked. Don't get sidetrack. Okay, so I'm sorry. Coach Oranda has said all of fall camp, there's been a strength of his team and it's been his defensive line. And I don't know that he's ever lied in his life. So I'm going to take him at his word and I am going to take this game in its historical context where stuff happens all the time that makes no sense.
Starting point is 01:06:35 And no, it wouldn't make sense at all if DJ Legway bawled out of his mind Saturday. But he could. It wouldn't make any sense if Baylor's defensive line was. magically resurrected, but it could be, and I like Alex Golish. I like Auburn a lot, but I love Sherman. I love him. That's beautiful. I love him, and I love Baylor plus seven and a half.
Starting point is 01:07:02 He said, Dave, Will. It, five years. Oh, my God! And it's a big head-to-head in week one. Oh, wow. Love the spot of it. Can I say? I'm confident.
Starting point is 01:07:23 Obviously, I think Baylor's going to cover. So I'm very confident in this. If DJ Lagway screws this up for me, if Dave Oranda screws this up for me, it's on you. Frankly, if Sherm screws this up for me. Could get frosty. So either I could win Saturday or you guys could lose.
Starting point is 01:07:42 One of two things could happen. You did a great job. That is nice. Again, I know you love theories. That's just the Josh Pays. theory that you just did there. Notice how I deferred? Yeah, you did enough and it's like, yeah, it could happen.
Starting point is 01:07:54 Yeah. And everybody's kind of like, yeah, Baylor can win this game. DJ Live Way could be the best. This D-Lyline could be the best. Coach Oranda says they're the best. They're the strength of the team. Name one lie Dave Aranda's ever told. Name one. He can't name one.
Starting point is 01:08:10 He was a secret sales of LSU. That's a lie I told. I'm sure he said that to a family member. I'm sure he said that to a family member. I'm sure a family member. I'm sure a family member said that to him and he didn't disagree. Yeah. That's what it was.
Starting point is 01:08:23 Yeah. I was at that party. All right. So five. This is a big game. Five five. Five five. bump me down to three.
Starting point is 01:08:30 Where'd you go? I went four. But I'm seeing a strategic move here that it's just like we're like. Smart. Yeah. Yeah. Crafty. Crafty.
Starting point is 01:08:39 It's like I see this and it's like, why don't I just bow out? Yeah. You just want to officiate this one. Yeah. Yeah. I love Auburn, though. I do. does what Josh Pate always.
Starting point is 01:08:49 He painted a beautiful picture. Josh Pate Theory. A beautiful picture. DJ Lagway is going to go. See, I think DJ Lagway could be a good play. I just, dude, Auburn, again, even with the gold that we haven't seen come out of the ground, like they've been top 10 in recruiting. Outside of just this past recruiting class, they've been top 10 every year or top 20 every year.
Starting point is 01:09:09 They were top 10 in the transfer board class the last two years. Like, there's something there that just hasn't popped up yet. You bet you went five. No, I'm five. I'm five. Love goals. Love how he challenges in the media And there's a dynamic that's going on
Starting point is 01:09:22 That I'm just I'm into And Sherman even put me on too I was like Because I was talking about some Pallina stuff I know Sherman and I were talking a couple weeks ago And he's like you have a big opportunity To put Baylor on your back this year
Starting point is 01:09:32 With this ESPN show And I was like yeah dude don't know Weird expectation to put on And then I started looking at it And I was like how could I wave this flag For Sherman The more I looked at it the more I was like Can you imagine
Starting point is 01:09:46 I don't want to Can you imagine those two head coaches watching this show. Yeah. Because I got Dave Aranda watching someone call him the secret sauce between the 2019 LSU National Championship and now. I've got me telling him he's never told a lie in his life. Meanwhile, I've got Alex Golish watching you compare him to Bo Polini.
Starting point is 01:10:02 First time it's happened in his life. Total fever dream. Total fever dream. The show gives you. No, Alice Golish. There's one guy that I think of. It's Bo Polini. It's Bo Polini.
Starting point is 01:10:14 Bo Polini. Should we go to the Gravely game of? week. Gravely game of the week. Probably the most competitive game in week one, in my opinion. UCLA at Cal, West Coast game. Bob Chesdy, Josh, Josh, Tosh, LaPoy. Did I say that right? Eventually, yeah. That was not nice. UCLA's favorite one and a half. Total points in the game is 54 and a half. All I've heard for the last two weeks for actually a month is Will Compton just saying, Cal. Mm-hmm.
Starting point is 01:10:46 Very sneaky. sneaky team. Not in the ACC, not in totality, but like I like them being sneaky this year. Yep. They sneaking on UCLA? I haven't fully pulled the trigger on the over six and a half win total that Cal has, but as we get to Saturday, I think it's going to be in there. You're going to do it? I think I'm going to do it. Okay. I think I'm going to do it. And again, just a hedge. I'm not saying they're going to be competing for an ACC title. If they do, I'm going to be hating myself for that. You've been notoriously under the whole preseason. So for you to be taking an over on anyone.
Starting point is 01:11:18 Yeah. You must see something. Yeah. And I know people are like, oh, why are we covering Cal UCLA? They're essentially flyover programs in the in college football. Essentially, they are. Wow. But to not be.
Starting point is 01:11:31 Coastal teams. Aaron Rogers as well. They're sitting out on the coast. They've never been called fly over in their life. Yeah, yeah. They can see an ocean out of their roof and south. Flyover programs, you know, like the flyover. You guys get it.
Starting point is 01:11:46 I understand what you're trying to say. Go ahead, Cal Sleeper Team. Programs you don't think about it. I was tweeting with Leon Blutman the other day. It's like, there's still people out there. They're like, oh, they're not in the Pac-12 anymore. This team's in the Big Ten. This team's in the ACC.
Starting point is 01:11:57 I did not know that. But this game is exciting. Bob Chesney comes from JMU. Another JMU staff taking over basketball school. We've heard that one before. We've seen that one take place with Coach Signetti. I'm not saying Bob Chesney's going to be that. But him establishing culture and operation,
Starting point is 01:12:14 you've seen him be able to operate and win. They've been number one in the Sunbelt in all defensive categories, and you might be saying to Sunbelt, who cares? It just tells me that this is, that this is good coaching no matter where it comes from. I think he's going to implement that at UCLA. I think it's going to take a little bit of time. But both of these staves, LaPoy coming from Oregon as a decororororority taken over his alma mater, like these two guys are juiced up about where they're out right now in college football.
Starting point is 01:12:38 And they're trying to establish something that the program has never, that the programs have never seen. The reason I like Cal in this game is JKS phenomenal, live arm. Like this is a stud of a quarterback in all of college football. Defensively, I'm just more, there's going to be a lot of new faces on the Cal, on the Cal, California defense, very young at the linebacker spot. I just trust, it's like I'm just, this is where my bias of knowing Tosh a little bit, being out there in Oregon, being fired up about its intensity, his process, his operation.
Starting point is 01:13:11 I'm just assuming that they're going to be fine. They're going to be fine defensively. But offensively, you got 2,300 plus snaps of experience returning to an offensive line who wasn't good at running the football. But again, having all that experience come back, they went out in the transfer portal. They were top 15 in the portal. They got some cats, this Ian Strong at a Rutgers,
Starting point is 01:13:32 who's a stud, 6'4. They got, is it Chase Hendricks from Ohio who had a 1,000-yard season last year? Cooper, who is part of the top 200, who was a transfer from Oregon, that came down to put some weapons around JKS. I like that dynamic. Both of these teams have a dynamic quarterback and a good staff. I like both staffs. I'm just, I'm bullish on Cal.
Starting point is 01:13:56 I'm bullish on Cal. I'm excited to watch this game. The spread's only one and a half. I love Cal Money Line here. So I'm going to go, I'm going to go three units on Cal Money Line. Big time. Three units on Cal Money Line. Okay.
Starting point is 01:14:10 Josh? I don't have much of a breakdown on the game because I don't think there's a way you can know a whole lot about either team. I think maybe if I were to go back to the Auburn Baylor prediction, if I'm willing to still believe in DJ Lagway, am I not still willing to believe in Nico Yamaliyava? The answer is sort of. So I don't have a whole lot of confidence, but I have supreme faith, hope, and trust in Bob Chesney. Not that I don't in Tosh, but I really, really believe in the direction UCLA could go. So who knows? I mean, a snowball has to start, or a huge snowball has to start with like that little kick.
Starting point is 01:14:44 And I think maybe this is just a little nudge, the little kick moment. Only one unit for me is it one and a half. I'll lay the one and a half with UCLA. It's going to be fun to watch. I agree with you on that. It's like Chesney, we've seen it happen. Like he's been coming from JMU, Tosh, we haven't seen it yet. Tosh we haven't seen a great recruiter everywhere he's been.
Starting point is 01:15:02 Like he's been brought to a lot of places to be a great recruiter. But Chesney, yeah, he was successful at D3, D2, clearly JMU. and so I just have to think that trend is going to continue. I think both rosters are built very like similarly from a talent standpoint. Like if you put one against the other, it kind of equal out in a lot of ways. And then it just comes down to the two quarterbacks. And the quarterback I lean on is the more mobile quarterback with Nico.
Starting point is 01:15:23 Like Cal quarterback, he's got a live arm. He's incredible. Lefty can rip it anywhere. But he was also sacked 30 times last year. And the offensive line, they didn't put a whole lot into the offensive line to make me think, okay, that's going to be a big dramatic change. He's not like a mobile running quarterback. He wants to sit in the pocket.
Starting point is 01:15:40 He wants to get into his drop, step up and deliver a strike. Nico, when things break down, especially how week one can happen or gets a little more sloppy, he's got his legs that can help him get out of tough situations. So I really like UCLA. I like UCLA minus one and a half. I'm going to do three units. Wow. Kind of consistent with the three this week.
Starting point is 01:15:58 I kind of like my threes. Yeah. I want to go fives everywhere, dude. I kind of feel great about all of them. I threw my confidence in the middle there. level ahead yeah and also too it's a jordan summerville who came from the bucks as their OC offensive play caller for cow he's been with the bucks the last three seasons with baker mayfield and even before that a lot of his mentoring a lot of like coaches that he's worked with has been
Starting point is 01:16:26 Dillingham there's one more i'm drawing a blank on right now i think i haven't been right now dealing him in liam cohen so him being like they have a young-minded staff over there with all that Insity and Passion. I just, you know, pro-style offense. I like that pairing, too, with Somerville and J.K.S. I don't know if this is, like, I have an answer to this, but it feels to me, like offensive coaches, like offensive coaching trees, the guys that come from a Sean McVeigh,
Starting point is 01:16:52 like they always seem to be very successful on the opposite side of the ball. I don't know if I feel that, and I don't know if this is true or not, from a defensive side. Like, Tosh coming from Oregon, he was the D.C. Oregon's defense was good last year, but Dan Lannning is the offensive mind head coach. Is he calling the place? Is he instilling the culture there?
Starting point is 01:17:09 It just feels like, I feel like offense, you see more like carryover from an O.C. becoming a head coach versus a D.C. becoming head coach. When a coach that came from was a defensive-minded head coach. Does that make sense? Bo Pellini was a defensive coordinator. It is true. The Alex of the 20 teams, yeah.
Starting point is 01:17:27 Number one scoring defense, number one past defense in the country. But that was mostly the players on the field, I heard. Mostly the middle linebacker. Yeah. That was the talent. man. I'm just, you know, defensive coordinator. For those of you on watching the lock room, the overrunner on Wilcofton bringing up, Nebraska was, I think, five and a half. Five and a half, yeah. It's only been twice.
Starting point is 01:17:46 That's correct. So the under is currently going great right now. It's going great right now. There's no shortcut for saving time, but saving money is simple. Just combine your car and home insurance with Bel Air Direct and save. Get a quote at bellairdirect.com. I'm talking to a felon right now with face tattoos, and I cannot decide if I like him or not? That was a caller from my podcast, Therapy Gecko, where I speak with anonymous callers about their problems, relationships, and anything else in the depths of their mind. It all happens on my show, Therapy Gecko, where we have real conversations just like this. Sometimes I'll have my girlfriend pre-chew, spicy food, and kind of baby bird it into my mouth. Is that weird? This week
Starting point is 01:18:34 is Human Connection Week. We're taking a peek into the lives of various strengths. strangers who found my phone number online. We'll hear their funny moments, their difficult ones, and their unexpectedly profound ones. These are real conversations with real people figuring out life one call at a time. Listen to Therapy Gecko on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. That call was really pivotal for me. Hey, it's Emily Tish Sussman, and this season on She Pivotivis.
Starting point is 01:19:09 The podcast where women share bold career moves and personal turning points that changed everything. I sit down with culture-shifting women who share their pivots like Paraly Olympian Alley Truit. I was like, I'm a month out from a shark attack. There's no way in 11 months I'm making the Paralympics. Advocate Elizabeth Smart. I still feel that drive that I can still make a difference, so I'm going to keep going. Celebrity chef, Carla Hall. Was that scary to walk away from such a stable career after just two years?
Starting point is 01:19:36 No. I was more afraid. of being unhappy that I was broke and in a dead end job that I didn't enjoy. And feminist legend Gloria Steinem. All of us were trying to express women's real lives. We need a meeting place of our own. And if I can contribute to that, I'd like to maintain that and leave this house for that purpose. Listen to She Pivotts on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.
Starting point is 01:20:04 College football will hijack your weekend, ruin your sleep and break. your heart. And that's why we make the solid verbal college football show. I'm Ty Hildenbrand. He's Dan Rubinstein. How's it going? Every week, we preview the games that matter, sort through the biggest storylines, and tell you what to watch before kickoff. There's a lot to keep track of. Who's for real? Which upset is hiding in plain sight and which storyline is about to take over your group chat? And when the games are over, join us in the aftermath too. We're going to react to what happened, talk about the biggest results, of course, we'll cover the playoff picture and all the little details you might have missed while flipping between like 12 games at once.
Starting point is 01:20:46 Whether you know every coach and coordinator or just want to understand why everybody is yelling, we're here to help make sense of the madness. Listen to the Solid Verbal College Football Show on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. The US Open is back. That's right. Two weeks of incredible, exciting tennis. Some outrageous overreactions from players
Starting point is 01:21:11 and some hot takes from people who have, let's face it, no idea what they're talking about, but it's okay because I'm here for them and you. I'm Renee Stubbs, and on the Renee Stubbs tennis podcast, I'll be breaking down everything that happens after big matches, who's playing the best tennis, who looks like they could possibly win this tournament, the surprise runs, the heartbreaking exits,
Starting point is 01:21:31 and all the drama that only the US Open can deliver. Coco looking real good. Her serve looks so much smoother than it has in the past. I was really happy to see Ega back to what she looked like a couple of years ago when she was winning dominantly. Listen, I'm going to let Venus decide when she wants to retire. I'm going to let the tournaments decide when they don't want to give her a wild card because she still puts bums in seats. She still sells and people love to see her play.
Starting point is 01:21:56 You always say on this show that this is the best predictor of who will do well at the O'S Open. If this is a preview, then we, are in for a treat. Listen to the Renee Stubbs Tennis Podcasts on the IHart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get you podcasts. That's Lucy. That's my daily right there. Espresso is my favorite hands down and a bite and burst where it pops, hits with flavor. That never gets old. I mostly use it to lock in. If I need to focus, get a little energy boost. This is what I reach for. Pre-workout, post-workout does not matter. It works either way. These bad boys go up to 12 milligrams. Currently, I'm staring at an 8-milly right here. Kind of a big deal. So if you
Starting point is 01:22:32 need something with a little more kick, they've got you covered. And the one thing that I respect most about them, independently owned, proudly American made, not some big tobacco company playing dress-up, and that matters. Lucy is the only Pouser doing long-lasting, on-demand flavor, and you can get 20% off your first order at lucy.co.co. Forward slash locker room. Code Lockroom. Here comes to fine print. Lucy products are only for adults of legal age. Every customer is age-verified. Warning, this product contained nicotine. Nicotine is an addictive chemical. What the hell else did we have? My dog, hey, dog of the week.
Starting point is 01:23:06 I'm on Cody Graveyard. We're going Idaho State versus Utah plus 13 and a half. All of my eggs are in the basket with Cody. I was like, hey, you got a dog this week, Cody? He's like, man, I like Idaho State. He obviously played there inside back or salty versus Utah State. Oh, Utah State. Utah State to cover 13 and a half.
Starting point is 01:23:26 He says he really likes it. He had the grin and the smile on his face to where I then looked over at Mitch I'm like, am I agreeing? This is Will Compton, Nebraska. These are the vibes I'm getting with him in Idaho State. So all expectation, all pressure, dog of the week, first dog of the week, is the graveyard himself, Cody Graves, and we're going to Idaho State. Wow.
Starting point is 01:23:43 Going Idaho State to cover. Okay. Get to Utah State. It's all on you, Cody. Yeah, maybe, uh, yeah. Yeah. Scurious, minus. Cody's response to that made me feel really bad about Will's pick.
Starting point is 01:24:06 I agree. Yeah, you feel that way? Yeah, I just want to miss that. No doubt. I love Will, but I sit there and I'm like, That response to that was, oh no. This thing's done. Oh, yeah. He came into the office with another one and he was trying to, who was the other one you were trying to sell me on?
Starting point is 01:24:20 I was trying to sell you. Something, was it Indiana? Joseph. O.D.U. Yeah, sure didn't. So he was trying to sell me on North Texas. I'm like, hey, buddy, I'm right. I don't stay. And he started smiling and nod his head like, hell yeah.
Starting point is 01:24:38 And I was like, no, I just want you to know, like, this is all on you. This is all on you in week one. I'm going to say the words out loud, but truly this is if it fails, like you're done. I'm never trusting you again with the dog of the week. Oh, yeah, yeah. You're, I'm coding. That's what we call the, the Baylor. I thought you were talking to me.
Starting point is 01:24:55 I was like, why am I, why my dog? Yeah. My dog of the week, San Jose State Money Line versus Eastern Michigan. That's a great pick. Oh, it's a great pick. You're about to see how great it is. You picked it too? San Jose State Money Line.
Starting point is 01:25:09 Come up. Yeah. We got a topic for the show. We got a topic for the shows. If they lose. It's on you. Yeah. Right?
Starting point is 01:25:17 No. You went first. That's not okay. You know these people just played Saturday, and now they're playing on the road on a Friday, right? I realize how stupid this is. You realize we shouldn't be betting this. I could not disagree more. They've already gotten one week out of the way.
Starting point is 01:25:33 They got destroyed. But the second half, even when Jordan Maiava, Jordan Maiava, Jaden. Jada Maiava was still in the game, they started to get more comfortable. They started to look a little bit better. You saw that, huh? I see that the poise going to take place. like that roaring fan base at the Coliseum finally quieted down a little bit. Show off their fan base.
Starting point is 01:25:53 There it is. Got them all here. Brought them in. And I like, I like West Coast teams going to East. There's like a stat on that like 67% of underdogs traveling west to east cover. Especially on short rest. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:26:09 Short rest is great. I think they should be laying points. I don't think they should be an underdog. I think we're actually getting value here because of the travel dynamics. But it's not week 10. It's week two. They've been getting ready for this. Yes.
Starting point is 01:26:18 We're fine. As far as I'm concerned, the first half of this game was the second half of last week. San Jose State wins this thing outright. I love that. I love it. Do we have parley? I got a nice juicy one. I got one.
Starting point is 01:26:29 I got one. Go ahead. What do you got a parley? Willie Parley. I'm going to go Oklahoma State minus 13 and a half. Okay. And that is, that's a lot of newness there, but it's not. Secretly, this is one of the most experienced rosters in the country.
Starting point is 01:26:44 Oklahoma State laying 13 and a half at Tulsa. I'm going to pair that up with Liberty plus six and a half. I don't have as much to say about that when the model just likes it. Those paired up returns plus 288. Oh, you got the, you're going model on this. Yes. You got kind of a conservative parlay. Very much so.
Starting point is 01:27:01 Run the football all year. You're responsible to be responsible 288. Not me. All right. We got small, medium, large, because I see wills right here. So I'll go next. I got South Dakota State plus 13 and a half versus Northwestern. I don't have a lot to say of this.
Starting point is 01:27:12 Our computer, Cody told me this is a good one. I like San Jose State Money Line, and I like, it's not on here, Cody. It's not on here. But it is, who's Georgia playing? Tennessee State maybe? They're playing Tennessee State. And it's like 45 and a half points. Kirby Smart, week one, when he's favored by more than 40 points, he's Ofer uncovering the spread.
Starting point is 01:27:35 And I love that for that. So you're on Tennessee State plus 47 and a half. Oh, he's right here. This wasn't the Georgia part. Tennessee State plus 47 and a half. This wasn't the Georgia part. Plus 713. I'll take that.
Starting point is 01:27:45 Auburn minus 5.5. Notre Dame minus 12.5. Ole Miss minus 2.5. Cal Money Line. Georgia Tech minus 6.5. To total, plus 1,078. These are alt lines. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:28:08 Can I see that with UCLA minus 1. You got to build this thing out. I understand. That's going to be tough for you to bring up. Yeah, that's going to be. I want to see that with UCLA because I don't hate any of that. It's a good. It's good roll of eggs.
Starting point is 01:28:21 Except with Cal. Our computer, Cody, was heavy on Georgia Tech minus six and a half. Let me go ahead and throw this in there. Like it? Hey, good for a show. Great for a show. If you enjoy the show so much, come join us on Fridays, 2 to 3 Eastern on ESPN because the boys will be in Baton Rouge, Louisiana this weekend.
Starting point is 01:28:41 Do we go around and a boss of that? How cool is that? Absolutely. That's pretty incredible. Pretty incredible stuff, ma'am. Feel good? I'll see you guys down there, yeah. Feel great.
Starting point is 01:28:50 We left some in the tank for Friday, right? I did. I don't know if you did. I just came with some heat. More heat to come. Yeah, more heat to come. More heat to come. Maybe don't watch the show.
