Hey, good morning, everybody.
Welcome into the locker room with myself, Will Compton.
Don't laugh right now, dude.
And Jock, definitely not you, Josh.
Don't do that.
You're much more professional than that.
And the commissioner of college football, Josh Bay, is week 12 in the college football season.
Today we're talking Utah at Baylor.
Guys, that was a big 12 game there.
Iowa going to USC, LA.
We'll talk about that roster, how they've never even seen that type of life before.
Notre Dame, Pitt, OU, at Bama, and then Texas.
at Georgia last week.
We called it separation Sunday.
I guess you could say we had that a little bit.
Myself, 3 and 2, injured or not,
we're picking games correctly at this point.
Wilcompton, 1 and 4.
My foot doesn't work, his brain doesn't work.
Together we make a full human being.
And Josh Pate is the king.
We had that guy up there in October.
He was Mr. Minutes 6 and 1 half.
Josh Pate is Mr. 2 and 3. He has done that 5 weeks in a row.
Say what you want about him. He is consistent.
Am I play injured today? Yes.
Is it gout? No. Is it because of gout? Most likely, yes. That doesn't matter. My pain doesn't matter.
What matters to me is that you subscribe to this show. You've enjoyed it. We see the comments.

It's us, the Jonas Brothers. I'm Joe. I'm Kevin.
And I'm Nick. And guess what?
We created our own podcast called Hey Jonas.
We invented a podcast?
Well, we didn't invent it. We just contributed to our first people to do podcasts.
We get to ask other people questions because we're sick and tired of being asked questions.
Well, sick and tired is a strong way to put it. But, you know, tired and sick.
Tired and sick. Listen to Hey Jonas on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcast.
Just listen. We don't care where you hear it.
Why are we all so obsessed with romance?
On the Radio 831 podcast, join us,
Sanjana Basker and Tyler McCall,
as we unpack all the trending tropes,
fuzzy adaptations, book talk drama,
and celebrity love stories with hot takes and sharp guests.
Each episode digs into what these stories reveal
about desire, fantasy, identity, and how we love now.

I'm Joey Dardano, and on my new podcast, Hope From a Hypocrite, I'll be changing lives, helping people in need with thoughtful solutions.
Sike, I'm a comedian. I'm not qualified to give good advice.
Join me and my comedian friends as we riff, rant, recommend some of the most legally dubious advice known to me.
This is Help from a Hypocrite, the worst advice from the dumbest people you know.
Listen to Help from a Hypocrite Wednesdays on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcast.
All right, good morning or good evening.
Welcome to the locker room.
The locker room is presented by the Fanduil Sportsbook,

That's right.
Now, if you open up the Fandulis Sportsbook app Saturday,
you're going to see some college
football lines. You'll see a little football, a college football parley from yours truly,
and you'll see our boost with the boys profit boost token. I'm telling you right now, boys,
go claim that token. And I'll give you a little example of what happens when you claim the
token because this gentleman, this sweet, smart, genius gentleman, just walked away with
$3,000 if we're cooking up a 14 leg parlay. Card popper. We got a 14 leg parlay at plus 62,537 odds.
$5.30
on it
and $3,288.40.
Nine picks were
money line picks.
The other five picks
were against the spread.
Again, just visit the Fando's
Sportsbook app.
Opt into our boosting
with the boys' profit boost token
and make yourself
a nice little parlay.
You can keep it calm.
You can go wild.
Just make sure you boost
with our profit boost token.
Josh, I know we're not on this part
of the show at all,
but I see your weekly parlay.
Wow.
Yeah.
I can't believe you.
That's a huge dump.
Could have gone Northwestern, but didn't.
With Parlay?
The weekly parlay, we'll talk about at the end of the show.
I just peeked at the card of where we were all sitting.
And I looked at Josh's and I was like, oh, this is why he's the commissioner.
He's got it.
The purple team.
No.
Okay.
But could have.
Could have.
Could have.
But won't do that again.
But what you're saying is your computer thing, he likes it.
Yeah.
Likes Northwest.
The model just keeps liking Michigan to win, dog to cover.
It's been on a roll.
It's got Michigan pretty well nailed.
Now, it will not have Michigan.
It's got Michigan to win Northwestern to cover.
Yeah, it causes just like a head against Purdue.
And then you push back on me and I said, follow me, make money.
That is a textbook.
I was not wrong.
The players were.
Well, they did screw up.
They did.
In my favor.
Yeah.
In your favor.
Yeah, common misconception.
The players don't always screw up against you.
It's just when they screw up in your favor, you had a little something to do with it.
And if I'm the players and I'm digesting both of these shows,
obviously they've been busting with the boys fan.
But I'm sure what they see the Pate State freight.
train team moving the way they are right now the acronym yeah the acronym is that what it is true uh
and the fact that you guys might be at 500 000 subscribers by thanksgiving that's what some are saying
some are saying that like i would kind of want to get on that train and so i think they kind of
threw you a bone there this week though i definitely believe michigan is going to cover there's somebody
not throwing you a bone over the weekend having fun online is that does that profile ring a bell
oh my goodness well it did ring a bell we i guess we have to speak about him in past tense yeah he's
dead. I don't, I didn't play football, but he doesn't play Twitter anymore, so he's not having
fun online. Did you see? No, I saw a Brandon Walker. Did you see somebody try to come after our
boy? I did see somebody try to come after our boy, and I keep saying the name Brandon Walker, but
no one's really responding, so I'm assuming it's not Brandon Walker. Does anyone ever respond to the name
Brandon Walker? Mississippi State does it. There was somebody, can I read this?
Share it. May I read this out loud? This is actually Josh Pate's new introduction.
The problem with Josh Pate is.
is he has zero real pedigree.
Even the smallest remote achievement is absent.
Didn't play college football.
Didn't work as a coach or administrator in college football.
Didn't cut his chops, building sources, and getting scoops and writing about college football.
Mind you, all of these statements have exclamation points behind it.
This dude is fired up.
Hey, so far, level of truth, right?
Didn't sit through production meetings with coaches and players to broadcast college football.
Is that true, too?
Yeah, look, we're four for four.
Yeah, just a ball.
old guy with a white t-shirt and a microphone who likes the most rudimentary aspects of the game.
Guy went seven for seven.
Yeah, seven for seven.
Respect the sevens.
How will I ever make it?
Yeah, what, so...
You want to know where this guy is now?
He's probably six feet under in a ditch somewhere in Georgia.
Yeah.
By that haunted house, he was talking about way back when he used to go with his friends and try to
scare each other with it.
Yeah.
Yeah.
The Korean house.
Hey, think about this.
The guy didn't even have his real name or face.
And it still got so hot for him.
He had to bail on Twitter.
It still got too hot.
He started off with going private.
And then next thing you know, I get word.
Oh, he's done.
The profile no longer exists.
And the profile was having fun online.
He bought a blue check mark and everything.
Yeah.
I got to get credit.
Was this Josh Payt?
Did you do this yourself?
No, I got to give credit.
So the state folks came after him all day, and all he did was go private.
But then reinforcements show up.
About 20 hours later.
Right about?
ratio is coming for him so hot.
Yeah.
He had to get out of it.
Right about sundown.
You know, it's like I'm George Bush and someone leans in and he goes, sir,
Compton's reinforcements have arrived.
And once that response goes up.
Yeah.
Our boy disappeared into the wind.
Yeah.
He's the zodiac.
Target eradicated.
We don't know where he is now.
Yeah.
Tees and peace.
Should we have a moment of silence?
Absolutely.
Godspeed having fun online.
I hope he's having fun.
It's not for everybody.
It's not for everybody.
The internet game is.
not for everybody. Taylor, just going wide and seeing your boot is hilarious. Yeah. Do we even want to
talk about that? Or should we just move on? We almost lost another soldier. Yeah, we did. Over the
weekend. I'll be honest, for the last 14 days I've been fighting for my life, just quietly suffering
in front of you guys while trying to give the people content. It's been hell. I miss the days of
freely walking. That's what I miss. You know, like a healthy man wants a bunch of things. A sick man just
wants one thing. Yeah. I'm the sick man. I just want to, I want two feet that work. I want to be
able to walk around this earth again like I used to.
So is there an update?
Do you know I was a pro bowler?
Did you know?
You know I was like one of the best
offensive linemen in the NFL for a little bit?
The image is fading.
Just seeing my boy.
I'm slowly just becoming
a pedestrian, man.
No, I'm past that, dude.
Pedestrians look down on me.
A statistic.
I'm a statistic.
You are not having fun online either.
You are not having fun online either.
You say it like that.
A statistic.
Because I think I'm becoming one.
You're becoming a.
narp yeah non-athlet regular person we called those muggles in Michigan but yeah yeah dude
it's it's been hell I had gout I uh I will say like I fought valiantly and it's weird to like
pat yourself on the back with that but I started to get gout right before one of the best days of
the year Halloween trigger cheat with my kids met up with will will goes I didn't even know you were
dealing with yeah you didn't even sell it right I was just quietly limping by myself for others yeah just being with
my kids and we walked that fucking neighborhood man went down came back by the time we get done with
the walk i'm hurting dude that whole weekend i'm laid up is it bad i don't know like i get to watch
football the whole time so it kind of worked out for me and every time i put it up it felt great
starts to get a little bit better and better and better this monday is when i really took a turn
i was like oh i think i'm finally getting back to me hit myself a little workout tuesday hit a
workout and then sometime yesterday i get home i'm walking around a little bit and playing with the kids
just starts to really hurt. And it's like, yeah, whatever, dude. We've been here before.
This is not too bad. Go put my kids to sleep. It's by time my kids are asleep in bed and I'm
walking down to my room. I am in so much pain. I'm like grabbing onto the hand railing,
like going down the stairs, doing the one foot, gathered in my bad foot, one foot gathered my back foot.
I sit there with my wife, finish season one, a land man. Incredible.
Buddy. Have you seen it? Not only have I seen it. I spoke to the guy Saturday who the show is
based on who is loosely Cody Campbell at Texas Tech or Monty in the show John Hamm continue
season two this one he's a lot that's awesome we'll follow up on that we will follow up on that
finish that and we're laying in bed and my foot is in so much pain the difference in the gout and this is
the gout I would be able like put up and finally get to a position where I go I can fall asleep
there's no pain here I was in so much pain less and I looked at my wife I go hey I hate this
I think I'm gonna go to the hospital like and just figure out like this foot's broken or something
go to the hospital
I'm there until 3 a.m.
Listen to the entire week,
was it 11? 12?
Week 12 predictions from Josh Pate
realized that like 1202,
1203 like holy shit, Scotty
just turned one.
So I got some good things out of the way
that easily I could have forgotten about
especially the birthday.
I mean, that is textbook of me
to forget something like that.
So some good things came out of it.
Bad news, I think,
they think I tore ligaments my foot
because of walking
with such a swollen foot,
I was putting so much
pressure in areas that they usually isn't pressure and some of these ligaments torn so we talk in
surgery buddy if i have to have surgery because a gal like put old yeller me take me outside
talk real nice to me where my heart rate finally gets down to like a relaxed pace and pull the
trigger that would be awful so i don't know yet long story short here i am five hours of sleep i'm in a
boot crutches get out i see you you kind of do this in your car as you're on a conference call with
Lane Kiffin.
I just hear a will go,
oh, I got him again.
I just think,
where else would you rather be the one?
You see from the farm,
getting out of the car,
he's handing like crutches like,
I see J.P's face drawn.
Like slowly my boys are just watching me to do.
And you leaned,
you forgot to tell me,
but you leaned on the car
until the crutches were handed to you.
You couldn't stand up.
His kid got a happy birthday.
I got a podcast download.
You got torn ligaments out of this whole thing.
Yeah, man
I try to lift you boys up, you know?
I try to lift up the confidence
Trying to be that uncle, that godfather
Hey, he was the first one of the text
And here I am, man, in a boot
Thinking
I got to fly to New York
Tonight, we gotta wear suits tomorrow
Yeah, because we're not mad at
Yeah, he's on the other side for a reason
Because he knew I was gonna bring it out
We have to wear suits tomorrow
Could this just be a waste up situation, do you think?
I might have to be
You know what?
It might have to be
Yeah
I'm not even wearing a suit that fits me.
I'm looking like I'm just for a court appearance.
I'm wearing...
You're up there applying for a loan.
I'm wearing 310 Taylor suits.
That's what I'm wearing.
Anywho, we're going to have a hell of a show today, boys.
Let's have a hell of a show.
Yeah, but hold on, before we get into the actual show,
talk to me about this guy you meant that was based on Monty.
Yeah, yeah.
So, Monty is John Hamm in Landman.
Yes.
And he's a big energy billionaire,
and he just sits in his office all day,
flies around on private planes,
although, I don't want a spoiler alert.
If you haven't seen Landman Season 1, check it out.
It's almost been a year.
The new season comes out.
Season 2 is coming, so that was a great time to get on.
You should be given 24 hours.
I don't even want to spoil the end of Twister for people, and that came out in the mid-90s.
But that's based loosely on the whole West Texas oil drilling energy scene, and I was just out there.
Cody Campbell is the guy who's basically, well, one of the main guys who's bankrolling Texas Tech right now.
The legend out there has it that that show and the character of John Hamm, Monty, is based on Cody Campbell and the double Eagle energy guys.
And so when I was out there in spring, they were saying, hey, man, we're trying to get Landman on campus for season two.
Because there's a quarterback in the show who's committed to Texas Tech.
I don't know if he stays committed in season two.
You know how NIL is now.
You know the portal can be.
But we'll see if he stays committed.
But I was like, talking to Joey McGuire, you guys are going to get involved in this?
And he said, we're trying.
if you want to mention it on your show, it sure could help.
We're trying.
So we put the call out there.
And this was months ago when they were filming season two.
So I haven't gotten an update, but we're going to see because season two drops really soon.
We sound like we're just full on promotional for the show.
Yeah, this is not, this is no free shoutouts, but there's no promotion for Ler Man, too.
Yes, based on, you know, like people who are kind of bankroll in the Texas Tech program right now.
I know that's not a shock to many people, especially those of us hoops were out there and saw that place, probably the best facilities in the country right now.
So we had McGuire on the show, and he was talking about the facility.
Somebody else brought up, like, people think they have the best facilities.
It's not, like, everyone might have number two.
We absolutely have the best.
And a kid from Arizona, like, Texas Tech was never on my radar.
Ever as a place to even humor.
I didn't know anything about it, but you watch a show like Landman.
You see all the T's on there.
You see how they're doing this year.
It's perfect storm for me.
I'm going, I got to see what Lubbock, Texas is all about.
You see the atmosphere this past weekend.
And it's like how much better can they be than all the spots?
We've went around right because how much better you know what I'm
Nebraska for instance they just did what a 250 million dollar renovation it was
something crazy and it's incredible yeah I mean Michigan did one a couple years
ago it's incredible LSU is incredible Oregon is doing a 500 million Alabama Alabama
like there we've we've seen the pinnacle at least we thought yeah place is pretty
incredible yeah I got a the only thing I can compare it to is though people who have
been around Texas or if you've ever been around really really big time high
school football I'm talking about like six
seven, eight, depending on what state you're from, the way that those towns, the way those towns are
on a Friday night. Yeah. The way those towns are on a Friday night where the whole thing
just shuts down, like everybody, the cops are all in, the gas station attendance, they're all in
for whatever that hometown team is. If you took that, that vibe and you turned the volume up to
like 200, that's kind of what Lubbock is like. And you know what college towns are like. You know what
Athens is like, Ann Arbor's like, Lincoln's like, those are college towns.
Lubbock is a college town.
I don't know how to describe this unless you just go there, but it feels almost like a high school
town in that everything is shut down for Texas Tech.
Everything's all in for Texas Tech.
It's six hours in any direction to the nearest civilization.
You know you're just on the moon and all you got's the guy next to you.
You all got like Red Raider blood coursing through your veins and oh, we got the nicest facilities
in the country now.
we just bought ourselves a multi-seven figure defensive line.
Oh, we may go win the Big 12.
We're all in.
That's what it's like out there.
God.
Awesome.
Did you see the video that I shot from the sideline of when they were doing swag surfing,
which every student body does, but they don't know it because they don't go around the country every week like we do?
But they're doing it, and they got the red smoke coming out a little pipe there,
and they got the mascot on the front row, and there's a kid holding a poster that says,
I love oil money, drill baby drill.
that's Texas Tech
brings a tear to my high
we gotta get there for this crazy
Texas Tech
another what
sixth
yeah
college football playoff ranking
could could
bump up to fifth
yeah
some say they could bump up
inside the top four
I'm not some
some people say
they could bump up
inside the top four
realistically
they go play
Ohio State
Indiana
A&M Alabama
where are they
have you done
the Fandul
neutral site
conversation
as Mimo hit the model
they would be
dog against all four of those but not like a three touchdown dog not like
USF would be or something like that that be competitive two touchdown dog no
two small maybe like between seven and twelve depending on which team you're
talking about but look here's what I think we need to do this is a team in the
big 12 so what we need to do is we need to refocus our microscope can they
win the big 12 and if they win the big 12 to me that's a highly successful season
whatever happens in the playoff is whatever happens in the
playoff. I said the same thing about Kenny and Arizona State last year.
Yeah.
Like, this is a conference that is not operating on the same level as the Big Ten of the SEC.
So to me, it's always been stupid to look at him and say, well, hey, the only way you validate
yourself in my mind is if you go win playoff games, win your conference.
The Big 12 is the most evenly pitted conference in America.
You don't have the vast disparity between have and have not out there, historically, like you
doing the SEC or the Big Ten.
Like, Purdue's not winning the Big Ten right now.
Kentucky's not winning the SEC right now.
But you could really go from last to first in the Big 12, especially if you invest like they did.
So that would be a happy story to me.
With Texas Tech, if we get in the Heisman talk, where do you have Jacob Rodriguez?
He's got to be up there.
I don't really do Heisman much.
I would have him in my top five safely.
How do I measure him against what Fernando Mendoza is doing?
What Julian Sayan's doing.
What Jeremy Love is doing, who probably, ironically, is not getting quite enough love right now.
Might not be.
But May after this weekend.
I did pick up in the present future show.
It'll come down to big moments.
So I feel like some of that spotlight is coming into Texas Tech now that they are, you know, handling business, winning the way that they are, going into as a heavy, like a big time favorite for the Big 12.
And now that, you know, his name is getting out there once he has one of those big moments, that's how I felt like, like, when we were talking, the last linebacker to be in the conversation with Manteo.
Like he had, what, seven takeaways?
And any time it felt like the microscope was getting on him more, he'd have an interception.
He'd have a play to where you're talking about.
It's validating the conversation.
When Mantei Tei'i out would pick a ball, I remember watching other games on ESPN.
There would be breaking news on the bottom line.
Manti Teiao intercepts ball in middle of second quarter against Navy.
He got breaking news treatment for the big defensive plays he made.
Yeah, yeah.
That's a whole other world.
If people are like 18 years old, you don't really remember 2012 all that much.
The Manteau Heisman wave was real.
Was very real.
Now, there were some things that weren't real, but the wave was real.
The wave was real.
The wave was real.
The way it was real. The feelings we felt were real. Yeah. I always respect Bantyck for that. Always.
Pee's and peas, man. But that's what we come down to for Jacob. Because even statistically, that's the guy you compare him to four like this Heisman run. He averages more tackles per game. He has more takeaways right now. He has 10, three picks and seven force fumbles. If he continues to have those splash plays, maybe our boys get in the breaking news as this wave starts to come.
We're running out of time, but there's only a couple more weeks.
That's all it takes. I mean, you see the push right now with Emma Johnson.
Yeah. We sure do.
You guys obviously see it with me, but I'm saying like when you have a player like that
who is ranking that well statistically across the country in every category.
Especially at a school who hasn't had a player like that in a while.
Right, right. The school, like everybody around is going to rally around to like put these
names in front of you, not because it's fake, because it's real, but to start getting you thinking
because all we talk about are quarterbacks at every school for Heisman for anything.
And we can have a first All-American, our first All-American since like Levanti David.
That is crazy. It's been that long.
Yeah. And even though it's the aim as Heisman, it's like, you know, what's the saying?
Shoot for the, shoot for the stars.
Shoot for the moon in the moon or something like that.
Yeah, yeah. One of the two.
It's one of them. It's like that. You shoot for Heisman. You're laying in all these other
conversations with some legitimate. You can talk about Jeremiah Love.
Emma Johnson's got him beat in a lot of categories. And when you talk about it's Jeremiah
I love and in Emmett Johnson for a percentage of total yards that they accumulate for for their
offense.
Emmett Johnson's number one right now.
Joy and Love is a monster, though.
Yeah.
Can I say as we start to dive in, I assume we're going to dive into the games?
We're going to dive into the games.
Oh.
I thought you guys.
We're not going to dive into the games.
I thought you guys did.
We're on a bye week.
I was going to, I was going to cool off.
You were going to.
But you did bring up Emmett Johnson.
I did.
And then you brought up with Alton David.
Talk right now.
Yeah, I'll get them in the conversation.
Yeah.
No, don't worry.
By we said it. Don't worry about that. Don't worry about that. Oh, I will push this.
I thought you guys did a great job with the sit down with Kay on the bus earlier this week.
Oh, you watched. I did watch it. I listened to it. I thought it was going to completely come off the rails when she asked, how is Nebraska doing this year? I thought it was done.
You're not going to get to the Giants or Dayboy. You're not going to get to NFL network and her upbringing. When she asked, how is Nebraska doing this year? I thought it was over.
Yeah. I was in the gym listening to it and people around me heard. I just said, oh no. Oh, no.
Yeah, Nebraska. You talk about government shutdown, a filibuster going on. You want to keep that thing continuing. Just walk Wilcompton into that room and say, Nebraska. You want to know about Nebraska. Let me tell you. We might be on a bye week this week. And then 72 hours later, they're like, I don't think he's breathed yet.
Will. I don't think he's inhaled yet. Will, I bought his Chuck Schumer. That's John Thune. Hey, how's Nebraska doing? Gonna put you on speaker here.
How's Nebraska?
You're going to be a
speaker here.
Great win against UCLA.
Great win.
Great win against UCLA.
T.J. Lateef, we tried telling everybody.
Coming home.
Coming home.
It's going to be crazy when there's a quarterback controversy
in Nebraska.
That's crazy.
There's no way we were texting
about that Saturday.
There's no way.
There's no way.
Unless.
Unless this keeps going.
This Dylan Raello's football team.
As of right now.
Right?
I'll let you say that.
No.
And you absolutely.
You should not be the person at all to say it has to come down to the absolute wire where
you know people have called you but hey it's going to be TG Lateef and that's when you

So how do we actually come up with a name Hey Jonas, guys?
I honestly don't remember.
I think it was on a call about what we should call it.
Well, we were thinking I'm originally calling it one of the early names of our band.
Before Jonas Brothers was...
This is how you guys remember it going down?
Yes.
I have a very different memory of this.
We were talking about a thing, a bit for the podcast,
where people could call in and say, hey, Jonas.
And then I wrote down on my little notepad, Hey Jonas,
and offered it up as a potential title for the podcast.
But thanks for remembering that, guys.

Let's talk about number 13, Utah.
They're at Baylor this weekend.
Utah's favored minus eight and a half.
Total points in that game is 60 and a half.
I'll be quick.
Utah onward.
Yeah, Utah Baylor.
I do have another question for you, Josh.
Yep.
You threw a grenade last week with head coaching jobs.
Sure.
You hearing anything with USC and Lincoln Riley?
Absolutely I am.
Hit me with the follow-up.
What are you hearing?
I cannot tell you because in no world do I want to put myself through what I went through last week.
But I will look at you.
I will say, yes, I'm hearing stuff.
And that's what I'm hearing.
That's what I'm hearing.
But I would never say that on air.
Hey, mouth that to me.
Let's play telephone.
Oh, I know it's going to be a full sentence.
It's like I just got caught up in his teeth for a minute.
I didn't see.
That's something that I can definitely wait till the end of the show to ask.
You're injured right now?
I am.
There's a lot of stuff happening.
I am.
I'm waiting to the end of the show.
Playing injured right now is what I'm doing.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Another question.
Arkansas.
Arkansas.
I think they got to wait for Auburn to make their move.
Maybe got to wait for LSU to make their move.
I don't know when LSU's going to make their move.
There was a gentleman that was saying they're pretty, I don't know what I was seeing it on,
but there was somebody talking like they had their guy.
They just out of respect.
Okay, whoever that guy is, respectfully to him, I'm not sure they're 100% in control of that.
What I mean is the guy they end up landing may also be in the running for other jobs.
And so the planes are all sitting on the tarmac and they're ready to find out in which order they're going to take off.
And one may cut the other one.
So like Alex Golish could be in the running for that job.
Well, if Alex Golish were to get an offer from Auburn, I think you'd probably take it over Arkansas.
So if you're Arkansas and you want Alex Golish, great.
I think he'll do great anywhere he goes.
Kind of got to wait and hope Auburn hires John Summerall or
hires DJ Durkan or something like that.
That's what I mean by that.
Now, luckily, Auburn's got their ducks in a row,
and so I think their search is going to move pretty fast.
But I think Arkansas does not totally hold their hiring fate in their own hands,
if that makes sense.
Yeah, they have to wait.
They know what they're in the total poll.
And I'll tell you this about Utah, man,
is the reason why I picked Utah is they're kind of on the outside looking in,
like Texas Tech, Baylor, Cincinnati.
are right there
and those teams
have to play each other
and they're probably out of the
conference championship
but they're kind of
sitting at two loss
and I think slowly but surely
but surely they're going
to ink themselves in
to one of those
last spots of the playoffs
and they understand that
going to Baylor
and I think they take advantage
of that and I think
they advantage of that in a big way
because for them to sit in a position
for them to bump themselves
into that 12, 11, 10 category
in the playoff
they've got a win
they've also got to cover
like if you're going to look at me
and say hey the committee
doesn't look at the lines
and say did they or did they not
That's crazy.
Look at what they did in Miami.
Right.
They bumped up.
They bumped up.
For what?
They just corrected them.
They heard the criticism and they corrected them.
And speaking of Miami, I like Utah this week too.
Yeah.
I'm going to tell you why.
Tell me.
I think in November, if you struggle to stop the run kind of in October, you really let the
floodgates open in November.
Now, full disclosure, the model likes Baylor this week, but the model doesn't know.
It's just a computer.
It's stupid.
It doesn't know what I'm saying.
It knows what you tell to know.
Yeah.
It doesn't.
Like, tapping out is not a data point for the model.
But I think Baylor's run defense may do that this week.
And if they do, there's no limit to the amount of assault that Utah can lay on them.
So 8.5, I think, is a trap number because it wants the computer model crowd to take Baylor and the points.
Right.
But I am not doing that.
Yeah, it wants the nerds to take Baylor.
But actually what you need to do in this game, you need to go like that.
You need to pull the glasses down.
Yeah, and just see the world for what it is, or how your body wants to see it, which is a little more fuzzy.
A little more fuzzy is clearly Utah minus 8.
and a half, Will? Yeah. What about James Franklin? I think James needed to make a move on Virginia
Tech if he was going to make a move. I think Virginia Tech's just sitting there saying, James, we want you.
And James Franklin's kind of saying, I could see it. And then they say, no, James, we really want you.
Here's the piece of paper. And he's saying, I'll think about it. And then Virginia Tech says,
hey, we kind of got to make a move here. We'd love to have you. And James is like,
give me the details again. And Virginia Tech may just be like, yeah, never mind.
Yeah, and on the note of James Franklin, I love how, like, the quarterbacks been playing for Utah.
I love how their defense has been playing.
I just think that sitting in that position, it's not like Pitts head coach.
Like every game is worth fighting for it.
Oh, it's a must win.
It's a must win.
Everything's a must win at this point in the year for a school that takes himself seriously.
Will?
Are you hearing anything about Eli Drinkwitz and Penn State?
Yeah, I'm not sure that he meshes with them.
I'm not sure that Eli Drinkwitz, the persona,
meshes with Penn State, the program.
So I'd be very surprised if Eli Drinkwitz got that job.
What I wouldn't be surprised by is Utah kind of wins emphatically this week
and knocks Baylor from the equation entirely.
And then afterwards, people are running the tiebreaker scenario math in their head,
and they're like, wait, we know Utah could get an at-large,
But what if, just humor me here, what if Cincinnati beats Brigham Young, hands them their second loss,
and then you realize, oh, Utah's got the head-to-head win over Cincinnati?
Oh, wait, could they make it to Dallas?
Oh, wait, could it be Utah versus Texas Tech where the model would be really put on the stand?
Because the model is the only computer model out there that has Utah power rated above Texas Tech.
Texas Tech would be favored at Fandul.
I fully acknowledge that.
the model would pick Utah and I'd have to sit here Mr. 2 and 3 Mr. 23 here and I would have to
pick Utah you would be so hypothetically speaking all those dominance fall we're sitting here
on a championship weekend and you're going to take Utah over Texas Tech either that or I'm going to
buck the model which has returned me two and three results all year so maybe I will yeah maybe I won't
kind of like James Franklin right now will he won't he I don't know humor me about Lane Kiff
and Jackson Dart with the New York Giants.
Well, you know, what I have to say to that is...
He's now coaching for the Giants.
What conference are the New York Giants in?
And don't give me the NFC East.
Do you know what I'm asking you?
I stop at midnight on Saturday, unless Hawaii is playing.
The football for that week is done for me.
Saturday at midnight.
And I just start watching replays.
So y'all are sitting over here on Sundays,
and you're watching, God knows what happens on Sundays in the NFL,
but I don't know.
The New York Giants' job is not even open to me.
It doesn't exist.
If Lane Kiffin goes to the NFL, it's a great person, but he's dead to me.
He doesn't exist as far as I'm concerned.
Never heard of her.
I don't know.
Yeah, everybody's talking about New York Giants that had a job.
Not enough people talk about Kent State.
Another big win last night.
Yeah, they call him Kansas State.
Who are you taking?
Just real quick so everybody knows.
Oh, Utah Baylor.
I'm taking the over.
I'm taking the over here.
The over's at 16.5 points.
Both these teams, I want to say Baylor averages like 33. Utah average is 36.
They both average north of 450 yards.
Sawyer-Roberto, he's got about 3,000 yards, 27 touchdowns.
Defense sucks.
I'm sure I know Utah's defense is good, but again, you're down in Baylor.
ESPN2.
Don't worry about watching the game.
This is over 16.5.
I love points in this game.
All right.
I like that.
How does the model fail by that?
Does the model even deal with totals?
Hey, we hit that Oregon, Iowa last week.
We were proud of that.
Oregon, Iowa under, 42 and a half.
Someone actually bet the over at the last minute.
Gave me an extra point of value.
It's like, it's Iowa.
It's 37 degrees.
It's pouring rain.
Dan Landings wearing a cotton hoodie.
There's no way this game's going over.
And it didn't.
No opinion on this one, though.
Well, in the suburbs of Iowa, Iowa is traveling to Los Angeles this weekend.
Number 21 Iowa versus number 17.
USC.
Iowa dogs.
USC favored minus six and a half.
Total points in the game is 49.
and a half. Will?
USC's going to hang 40 on them.
Okay. That's a little crazy.
USC's going to hang 40 on these boys.
I did my best to root for Iowa.
These past, like, well, not last week.
The weeks prior to that, getting them in the top 25, trying to get them ranked.
But they just remind you that they're just going to be this four, five loss,
sometimes three lost football team at all times.
It's automatic.
Still ranked, though.
Consistent.
Still ranked.
Yes, they're consistent.
But there's no.
Josh Fing goes two and three.
Iowa loses three to five games.
As an Iowa fan, there's no hope like there's no we're building, there's no we're growing,
there's no, you know, expectations or excitement to come around.
Like Kirk Fernette's going to be there until he dies.
They're going to continue to be just above average football team.
And they're going to go out to USC this weekend out in L.A.
I know there's going to be a little bit of rain, but there's not going to be a whole lot of
win, maybe 10 miles an hour, Gus.
And USC is in absolute playoff mode.
Their big one's going to be Oregon.
But again, after coming on, coming up.
off the performance they had against Northwestern, the reminder, Nebraska a couple weeks ago.
Nebraska is going to be the only team that holds this team, this offense under 30 points on the season.
This is going to be USC.
What is it?
Jaden. Jaden. Jaden Mialava?
Jordan Mialada.
Yes.
Yeah.
Jordan Mialada.
Yeah.
Jordan Mialada.
I think he's Australian.
Is it Jaden Miava?
But this week could be Jordan Bialada.
Could be Jordan.
Jaden Bialada.
40.
40 plus.
Yeah.
And after he does, he's going to, he's a little egregious. It's a little much.
But that's what's going to happen.
Yeah, Iowa has a way, especially the weather's falling in them like a cloud.
Like Iowa travels to L.A. and all of a sudden it's sunny, but now it's going to be a rain.
That's like pig pen.
Yeah.
The cloud just follows him wherever he goes.
Exactly. You said something on your show. Obviously, your breakdowns of college football are incredible.
And you being a weather guy, you said monsoon season in California.
Crazy. All of a sudden this week.
There's no monsoon season in California.
USC's covering this game.
Oh, you got something?
USC's covering this game.
Monsudan season is like June to October,
and it really just affects the southwest region of the country,
which is Arizona and New Mexico.
Let me ask you this.
Go ahead.
Is it winter right now?
No.
Sure to get a lot of snow in Nashville the other day.
A lot of snow?
Things are crazy.
A lot of snow are a couple flakes that melted really touch the ground.
I happen to Arizona sometimes.
I'm from rural Georgia.
There's a lot of snow.
And I'm from the west.
We didn't have a single land falling hurricane
in a contiguous United States this year.
Weather's been crazy this year.
You know that.
I know that.
He knows that.
I have in my hand, Mr. No Monsoon season, the official Friday and Saturday forecast for the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum.
Friday.
Trying to paint the field.
Heavy rain.
Heavy rain.
Saturday.
Heavy rain.
The only difference between this game and the one Iowa played last week is bump it up about 20 degrees, upper 50s instead of upper 30s.
But you're right.
The weather's following them around.
Now, you would think to yourself, history would indicate this favors Iowa, because Iowa is just ground and pound.
USC is all flash, no substance.
We remember what USC did to Michigan.
I knew you're going to bring that up.
Ran it for 224.
They did?
They ran it for 202 against Nebraska.
They ran it not as great against Notre Dame, but Notre Dame is not.
Notre Dame is a different caliber team than Iowa is.
I just think Iowa needs to play the game they played last week with two.
minor corrections. They need to be a little bit better on third down. They were five of
13 last week. And don't lose the turnover battle. They were minus one last week. If they can do
those things, great. I think the style of game actually favors USC more than America is going
to realize. Like people are going to see heavy rain. They're going to say, this is Taylor Made for Iowa.
And Lincoln Riley is going to look at it and USC is going to look at it and say, no, actually,
we're fully comfortable running the ball. Now, we may not score 40. Game may not be long enough for us
to score 40. But I don't even need Maya to have a huge day. I need him to have a good enough day.
Anything above and beyond, that's a bonus. The model disagrees with me again. Real, real,
real infighting between me and the model this week. Yeah, it sounds as a house divided. I'm taking
USC to win in cover. I agree with that. Are you familiar with Rumspringer? Do you know what that is?
It's in the Amish community. These people, they live the Amish life, right? No technology,
no internet, none of that stuff. But at the age about like 16 years old, the
Amish youth is allowed to go out into the world and live the way for what most normal people live
their life. They can use phones. They can drink. They can try different things. They can go watch a movie.
They can utilize the advances in technology that we've all come to know and love, but the Amish does not.
Then they have to make a decision within like three months to like two years of what they're going to do.
But when they go through Roomsduring, it's like a kid going to college for the first time, freaking out.
That's what this is for Iowa. I looked at the roster. There are less than five people from the West.
It's full of people from Missouri, people from Illinois, people from Iowa, Nebraska, Grand Rapids, Michigan, South Dakota.
These are just corn-fed boys who talk with a wheat straw in their mouth the whole time, and they're going to fly to the West Coast.
Those lights are going to be exciting.
It's been the first time in their life other than a movie or a TV show that they've seen this.
They're going to be distracted, discombobulated, weather or no weather.
Iowa is going to get their ass beat against USC this weekend.
USC is a much different football team at home.
than they are away, much different football team.
And I had to witness that firsthand.
I mean, you and I were texting.
I was, you know, I was what to call the hotline during that game
because they were doing things to Michigan that Michigan does the people.
And I see that absolutely happening against Iowa.
I don't see them putting 40 up on them.
Like an ass beating for Iowa.
10 points?
27 to 9.
Yeah.
Yeah.
If they'll hit 30.
They'll hit 30.
No 30?
Yeah, they'll hit 30.
But yeah, rum sprinter.
They'll hit 30.
And what is it, Jaden Bialata?
Jaden Bialado throw Benjamin on them after the game's over
and tell them to go buy a Casey's pizza
and take a gas when they get back to Iowa.
Man, because that's all I was got.
Cases and it is good.
Almost went to Iowa, Wilcompton.
There's a lot of we in the breakdown.
There's a lot of we.
We are nothing more than average.
We do this to ourselves every year.
Yeah.
I didn't push back because I don't disagree.
You got to love that Iowa makes teams play their style football, though.
Yeah, but then they made Oregon last week, and Oregon still beat them.
Yeah, no, but I feel like with Iowa, it's not about wins and losses.
It's more about a buyer.
It's about giving us to allow our identity to bleed into this game and ruin it for all the viewers.
Like, that's what they want.
How do we get the least amount of viewers?
If we can make people miserable at home, we'll have done our job.
Like, I think Iowa, they put up graphics in their team, but like, you see, like, Texas and Ohio State, they got 17 million people watching this.
Don't like it.
We got less than a million boys.
All right, and it went down the farther you got into the game.
They take pride in that.
Like, how can we have this the lowest scoring game possible?
How do we compare this to soccer as much as possible?
That's Iowa.
And who's going to cover lemon?
Like, Iowa doesn't have a white cornerback out there this year.
That is true.
But also, heavy rain, monsoon that doesn't exist in California.
Yeah.

Notre Dame at Pitt. Right now, Notre Dame is favored by 11.5. The over under on this game is
55 and a half. You guys saw Pitt's head coach? This is disgusting to me. I saw that clip.
Stop studying. Obviously, Jeremiah loves a stud. C.J. Carr has come along along.
a long way.
But Pat and Arduzzi, that's his name.
For him to say this is not a must-win game.
I'd rather lose this game by a 110 to 10, which is, by the way,
103 to 10 is like what they've been outscored in the last three times they played.
Wow.
So he's very aware of that point differential.
And I just think you say that since a horrible message to your team.
Yeah, because it's like, you know, the boys like, players, you love to be out there.
Like, you know it's don't give Baltimore material.
You love to talk shit.
Like, you would love to do that.
You just don't do it.
You know you're the inferior team.
However, it's like, what kind of culture are you sitting at?
But I'm just saying players are suppressed because as much as we would love to go out there, chirp a little bit, have a little fun.
You know it's not in the best interest for your football team because there's more people involved.
So you just have to sit back and almost just hear the clippings that your head coach might say.
But just to hear that, if you're one of the boys sitting at the lunch table, it's just like, coach doesn't believe this is a muslin?
Yeah, you know they're saying something different in the room, but still publicly.
I don't know. I wasn't a big fan. What was your takeaway?
I just think about being in the locker room at the half and it's 20 to 7.
Notre Dame. You look around and you say,
what are you supposed to tell those guys at halftime?
Coach kind of said this game doesn't happen. It is what it is. You know, we tried.
Grass stain here and there. We try. It's okay. We got ACC play coming up, though.
Because that's definitely, according to the committee, what's going to get you in the playoff.
Because the ACC has such a sterling reputation right now.
It doesn't matter if you lose your out of conference games.
Now, the committee chair is on TV last night saying, yeah, this conference kind of has no out-of-conference games to hang its hat on other than Miami, Notre Dame.
Ignore all that.
Lose.
Lose by 100 if you want to.
It's okay.
As long as we get a good, solid win against Georgia Tech, that's enough wind in our sales.
It's not.
It's not.
Notre Dame's going to win this game in cover.
Now, I will say this, I don't think people know Pitt.
I don't think people have really watched Pitt.
I think people think classic Pitt game, like Iowa, ground and pound and pounds.
ball control, condense the game.
That's not them.
Heinzsche is the quarterback that came in for Eli Holston.
He's a true freshman.
He's thrown for 300 and four of his last five games.
Notre Dame is 15th against the run,
89th against the pass.
So like theoretically, if you're going to get Notre Dame,
that's how you get them.
You get them through the air.
Notre Dame fans would vehemently argue,
yeah, but our defense is on now.
Like we found ourselves.
We found our stride.
We're on now.
And there's probably a germ of truth to that.
I just think like there's some,
point where you kind of wad up the paper.
Pitt's got the number three run defense in the country.
Do I really think they're going to shut down Notre Dame on the ground?
I don't.
Nor do they have to, according to Pat and Arduzzi.
You like to, but you don't have to.
It is what it is.
I just think it's one of those,
reminder, we're Notre Dame, your pit.
Like one of those kinds of games.
And it's not a comfortable blowout win,
but like it's a nice solid win for Notre Dame.
They cover in the end.
And you move on and, you know,
they stay on track to either be the nine seed,
or the eight seed.
Like the biggest question with Notre Dame down the stretch
is do they get a home playoff game
or do they have to go on the road for a playoff game?
Which is gonna be a huge difference by the way.
Because if you noticed,
I think on the playoff committee reveal show last night,
they did the hypothetical bracket
and it was like Notre Dame at Oregon.
So imagine the difference in them having to go to Eugene
versus them hosting someone in South Bend
like they did last year.
So that's not a small deal,
but I do think they're gonna,
like this is not where they get derailed.
There's no way.
Well, there's little way.
They get derailed.
Have you checked against the spread numbers with Pitt since Narduzzi's been there?
I haven't.
You?
I have not.
Uh-oh.
Can I give you a...
Pabbers for you?
Pitt as a home underdog.
12 and 10.
Against the spread?
12 and 10 against the spread.
Against ranked opponents.
16 and 16.
As the home team against the spread, 34 and 36.
Delaney Walker here?
What's Notre Dame minus 11 and a half?
Do you just Delaney Walker me?
I just read you those numbers.
It does not blow your mind?
That you did.
You did do that.
You did read those numbers.
I have little to no idea what they really meant, but you read those numbers.
You read it with conviction.
Home dogs against the spread.
0 and 57 or something like that.
And you're like giving me like borderline 500 numbers on all three.
What you're not seeing, what you boys aren't seeing are the numbers within the numbers.
The game within the game.
I knew it.
He's so right.
Yeah.
And you know what?
Regardless of whether we saw the number or not, we all landed in the same place.
Somebody out there right now, they're going to comment and be like, I know what will he was saying right?
I bet they will.
Yeah.
I get where he was going.
I see.
Yeah.
He sees the field well.
Yeah, he's absolutely seen the people coming out in numbers.
Literally looked like 25 and 32.
That's like that was Pitt, dog at home.
Your style like this year is the staining is Pitt.
So yeah, you're seeing it.
You are Pitt.
Don't you worry.
We'll see who's laughing next week on here.
We literally all have the same picks right now.
Yeah.
So we literally were all laughing or crying together.
There's no difference.
I took over at Baylor, Utah.
I think it's a good pick.
But I like you talk.
Watch Baylor cover.
Just like a late cover.
Yeah.
That'd be gross.
38, 37.
I'm kind of sick.
You guys kind of talked to me into Oregon, Iowa last week.
Because I was very iffy on the fence about that game.
Obviously, I made my own decisions.
But I was sitting there.
We had it right up there for you.
I know.
You a heart, logic.
But I was right there.
I was truly sitting in the 50-50.
I'm straddling the fence.
My nuts are split in half.
Just being like, which way of this fence do I want to go?
and obviously you had a boy with words.
You started talking with a duck reproductive system
or how they even have, I'm like, yeah.
That's not only like true,
but it's also like a tip of the cap to OG busing.
What other way could I have gone?
Yeah.
You'd rather lose the way you did.
Yes.
Yes.
Yes.
Yeah.
Oklahoma and Alabama.
The spread on this game, Alabama favored by five and a half at home.
The over under on this game, 46.5.
Gentlemen?
Yeah. Who would like to kick this thing off?
I'm very confident here.
I know. I watched your prediction thing.
I had my decision before your show last night, and we aligned in the same place.
I think this game, if it's going to go Oklahoma's way, John Matier has to have an out-of-body experience.
And he's got to play much better.
He has to play essentially how he did in the first four weeks of the season.
His thumb has been your foot lately.
Yes, right. He just wants to know what it's like to throw a tight spiral again, just like, I don't want to know what it's like to walk pain free.
And unfortunately, that's not happening this week.
Like, Alabama, they're pretty unbelievable.
And they're great against the pass.
You had the stat against the run versus the run defense.
It doesn't really matter because of how Alabama's offense rolls.
At the end of the day, this is Caitlin DeBoard, this is the black sweatshirt.
This is covering.
This is Alabama covering.
Them taking that next step.
Yep.
Like teams like this who have been this position regardless of who's at the helm or the head coach,
like they understand what they'd stake here.
and for that reason I got Alabama.
I don't know if I like hearing them say that Alabama's unbelievable.
They're just pretty good, aren't they?
I mean, look at South Carolina.
Like, yeah, they won, what, 20 to 9, like, or got the,
they covered at the very end against LSU,
but they didn't look like they should have looked.
No doubt.
The last couple weeks with South Carolina and LSU,
like, to me, it's like they're not playing unbelievable right now.
To me, this is a, they better wake their ass up
because they're getting in gear.
It's like, when you look at their schedule, they beat Georgia.
of this run right now. Georgia, Vandy,
Missou, Tennessee. Then they've kind of
had some moments against South Carolina.
How badly do you lose to Alabama?
One score. One score
against South Carolina. I was a Disney World during that
taking place, and I actually took South Carolina
that week. We were
so close to looking like geniuses, JP.
That's fine this week.
Famously not on the card.
And even against LSU,
they're not looking the way that they should.
Like Ty Simpson, you know I love some
Ty Simpson. But misses on a couple
deep balls just by a little bit.
Like he's still like he only has how many
interceptions? One interception on
the year. He takes care of the football well.
I got Alabama here, but this is an Alabama
better wake their ass up. This is everybody
look, everybody's tired, everybody's hurt.
There's no time to bitch and moan.
It's time to get rolling and you got to do it this
weekend against Oklahoma because I
got them. I do have them winning and covering.
But the whole Alabama looking
unbelievable Alabama being this national
title run, like they need to start showing us now
at the end of the year because they've had a couple
shaky games against inferior opponents.
No disrespect to the Gamecox, JP.
But that's my whole thing.
I know they've had a long stretch.
They need to close it out against Oklahoma, who took down in Tennessee,
who's still in the conversation, who's going to be hungry,
who's going to try and get back in and take what's yours.
Alabama's got to wake up this game.
Let's look at the dominoes, the story that's taking place when it comes to Alabama.
The first game of the year they play against Florida State.
They dropped that game.
Everybody's like, this team is dead.
The competition takes place on the bus about guys are getting Uber eats at two in the
morning, girls are maybe flying around. Guys are not disciplined. You give a mouse and cookie
ask for a glass of milk because they're going from Nick Saban, who if your shoes are tied
incorrectly, he's yelling at you versus killing the board who's a little more lax, let the players
be players. They wrote that ship. Who had the longest home streak in college football? Georgia.
Georgia did. Who broke that? Alabama. Alabama. So although they weren't great against inferior
opponents, no disrespect to JP, they have shown in times when the adversity strikes, they have
been able to write that shit. That to me is unbelievable. We're going from a Florida state situation
to where they're at now, see at number four in the country, not only in eight people, but also
in the college football bracket. That is unbelievable. There are weapons they have on the outside,
even though Ron Williams had a couple jobs this year. Unbelievable. Ty Simpson, who no one even
really knew of until this season started, that's unbelievable. The way he's doing the ball,
taking care of it, one interception, that's incredible. The run game, not so great, but they don't
want to do that anyway. They have the weapons on the outside. So all that being said,
Alabama to cover. Did you take Alabama or Oklahoma?
I'm taking Alabama. I'm just saying if me and you were in the Alabama locker room
and you're like, hey, we've played pretty unbelievable this season. To me, this is Cooper Comstock
saying we're going to beat Northwestern. The game that happened with Nebraska Northwestern is like,
no, no, no, no, we need to wake the fuck up. Right. And what you do? The way of these games
have been a little too close for comfort. We need to wake the fuck up and play our best ball
against Oklahoma. The big win against that is you dropped in week one and had to learn that
lesson. You've been able to keep up games when there's obviously going to be a role.
this year against inferior importance.
Now you're playing against the Oklahoma team who, you know,
Brett Venable's defense.
Everyone's always hooting and hollowing about them.
They bring up the run defense.
And Alabama's like, yeah, it's a great staff,
but it's not necessarily what we're,
what we're interested in.
I think I am very impressed with Kailen DeBoer this year.
Extremely impressive how he's handed the culture.
Me sitting back saying unbelievable, it's like,
I'm a guy with that can't walk on a TV on a show right now.
Yeah, I'm not sitting in the locker room instilling a culture.
If I am in the locker room.
Oh, we're in the locker room.
That is 100% of the conversation you're having
with those players. However, I see this going Alabama's way, big time. Could I say when you just
sat there and said, we're in the locker room, that touched me a little bit. I felt that. You did not
crack a smile. You shouldn't. You're serious. Do we think Alabama's a national championship contender?
Yes or no. Start here. Yes. Okay, I picked them to win at all. So like clearly we got three yeses.
If we're right, what you're saying is accurate. This is where you got to start revving the engine.
Like you're running out of weeks to rev the engine. Now, I'm not counting on them to find.
a running game. I think they're a flawed team. I think everyone may have flaws. So a flawed team
is going to win it all. Alabama's been really good at overcoming their flaws. Like to me,
the biggest compliment you can give Ty Simpson is all these other quarterbacks are doing it.
Like Julian is saying knows he's got a ground game. Fernando Mendo Mendoza knows he's got a ground
game. Ty Simpson has no ground game. And he's still only thrown the ball to the other team once.
And they're still able to scale their offense every week. Last week against LSU is really interesting
because if you watch the game, yeah, they win, they cover. They're coming out of a buy. You
it's and instead it's like missed explosive plays by inches here and there. That was like a 40 to 9 game
masked as a 20 to 9 game. Doesn't matter if you keep tripping over yourself. My thinking on this game
is this is the week where they actually find those explosive plays. In Oklahoma's defense,
two different compartments here. Rundee, totally legit. It's a funny way this game works because
when you see strength matching up with weakness, you think big edge.
to the team with the strength. It actually works the opposite some ways. I would feel less comfortable
about Alabama if more of their offense was predicated on the run this week. Like if they had run
the ball a little more successfully this year, I'd be more worried about Oklahoma because Oklahoma
stands a good chance of taking something away from Alabama that Alabama uses. Alabama doesn't
have rushing yards anyway. Like they don't run the ball effectively anyway. Lesser defenses have
taken their run game away. The question is, can you stop them through the air? Because they're
totally comfortable throwing the ball when they don't have an effective ground game to lean on.
There were two teams this year that are roughly the caliber of what Alabama can put on you in the
passing game that OU faced. And it was Ole Miss and it was Tennessee. And one of them threw
for 315 and the other one threw for 393. I think the barely missed explosive passes you saw
Alabama suffer from last week are hit this week. I think you'd see minimal crowbar effect from
OU's ability to stop the run because Bama doesn't really need to run the ball anyway.
I think the fact that Oklahoma is in the one teens in turnover margin and Bama's top
10 really matters when you're getting them in your building.
Bama's won 17 straight at home.
This is the time where they got to rev the engine.
And unless I get a superhero performance from John Matier, which post-injury we have not
gotten and I'm not going to assume that we get it now, I think Alabama's going to win, cover,
and it's a double-digit victory for Kaelin-de-Bore.
And finally this Saturday, you're looking and you're saying, okay,
Now they're locked in.
Now they're ready for a stretch run.
Well said.
In Aguilar, it's like you're talking about turnovers as well
against these high power offenses and great quarterbacks.
Aguilar is thrown about eight to the other team.
Ty Simpson does a very good job of protecting the ball.
It's like if Oklahoma's going to find ways
it's going to be through turnovers and everything like that.
I do.
Ty Simpson, go be a fucking wolf, brother.
This is a big game.
I'm excited to watch Alabama play.

Pretty, yeah, pretty wide range of podcasts throughout there.
But this one's extra special.
So how did we actually come up with a name, Hey Jonas, guys?
I honestly don't remember.
I think it was on a call about what we should call it.
Well, we were thinking I'm originally calling it one of the early names of our band before Jonas Brothers.
This is how you guys remember it going down?
Yes.
I have a very different memory of this.
We were talking about a thing, a bit for the podcast,
for people could call in and say, hey Jonas,
and then I wrote down on my little notepad,
Hey Jonas, and offered it up as a potential title for the podcast.
But thanks for remembering that, guys.

True Classic Game of the Week.
Every Saturdays got games, but only one fits just right.
This is True Classics Game of the Week.
We got Texas, Georgia, Sark v. Kirby Smart, Arch v. Gunner, Stockton.
Generational talent's getting after it.
Georgia's favorite in this game by five and a half.
The over under on this game is 48.5.
Texas is 11 and 3 since joining the SEC.
It's a great record.
Two of the three losses were to Georgia.
They were both last year.
They had a combined 60 rushing yards in those two games.
So physically, Texas should never.
What was that, man?
You good?
Just making a quick transition.
Yeah, but transition like an adult.
You just basically spit on the ground.
It was, it was honey.
Honey, give me your gum.
Like, I did the same thing 15 minutes ago.
And I just, listen, I thought nobody was going to see me.
Don't know what he was going to see me.
Did you see it?
I looked at the corner of your eyes as I saw it.
I'm just saying, I'm just saying.
That was the most wild.
For something to be intended for no one to see, it was really theatrical.
Really?
Like, the lean over and everything.
The mouth came wide over.
What are you doing with it now?
Don't put in your pocket.
I do it all the time.
Just put it here.
I do it all the time.
All right. I do it all the time.
My apology.
Oh, you're good.
Sark, lost three days in the SEC.
Two of them came from Georgia.
60 combined rushing yards against Georgia last year.
So let me ask you this.
I got a lot of respect for Steve Sarkesian and his staff.
Is it unfair to say that until further notice,
I don't think you can match Georgia physically?
Is it unfair that until further notice,
I say they're going to outstaff you?
They're going to out-coach you.
You haven't earned the right for me to say,
anything otherwise, right? So Sark watches the show. We all know that. At some point, you've got to look
at him and say, guys, top to bottom, everyone in that building, that's Big Brother. You got to go to
Big Brother's house. He's moved out. You're still with the parents at home. You've got to go over
there. And you got to handle business in his house. You had two shots last year, one in your building,
one in a neutral venue, although it is in Atlanta, and you didn't get the job done. So you've been
given a window here. You already lost two games, but the playoff committee is still saying, they're like,
They're hanging the dollar bill right over you.
And are you going to swipe at it and they jerk it or are you going to be quick enough to grab the dollar bill?
It's tough for me to say yes.
I will say this, though.
Imagine in July not knowing anything about the upcoming season.
If I were to say, hey, come November, I've seen the future, the Georgia, Texas game is going to come down to quarterback play.
Who would you have liked in July?
Gunner Stockton or Arch Manning?
Arch Manning.
I think the game comes down to quarterback play this.
Saturday. Who do we like? In that scenario, Arch Manning, Gunner Stockton. Gunner Stockton.
Arch Manning. Is it because Georgia cannot get after the quarterback in Texas can?
And then, and no, what? Not necessarily. Not necessarily. Not necessarily because Texas can,
like they are. They play, they've been inconsistent at times defensively, but they do have a very
good defense that will be challenged by a good Georgia offense and Kirby Smart. They'll be prepared
and ready to go. It's, I believe, more in Archmanning right now, because you look at his last
two games, he's threw for like 370, six touchdowns. And again, Georgia can't get after the
passer that well. So an old line that has seen, hey, we should be superior against everybody this
year. We haven't necessarily seen that from this Texas O line, but just having that mindset of
going in, this team can't rush the passer very well. I want to say confidence level is going to be
higher. They're going to protect them long enough to where Texas is scoring points the way we've seen
them do over the last few, over the last few weeks. That's why I like Texas in this game. I don't
know if they're going to win the game, but I do like them keeping a close covering and Arch
Manning having an unbelievable game. C.J. Vogel put this stat out. I cannot take credit for it,
but he discovered that Gunner Stockton and Arch Manning are number one and number two in the
SEC and pass attempts behind the line of scrimmage. Makes sense. Both programs recruit superior
athletes. They trust them to get the ball in space and make yards after catch happen. Because
that reason. I think tackles, mistackles, and yards after catch are two of the most important
stats in this game. But Texas, think about them on the road this year. They went to Ohio State,
they lost. They went to Florida. They lost. They went to Kentucky and barely got out of there with a
win. They had to come from behind in shocking fashion to beat Mississippi State. They beat OU, but that was
in Dallas. That's a neutral field. Eventually, you've got to get the job done on the road. It's a huge
pride and performance moment for Texas. There's something in the back of
my mind that keeps saying what you just said and that is maybe what you thought arch was going to be
in september maybe he is it's just kind of clicking late right and they've given they've been given
the second life there's like fresh air in their lungs they're coming off a buy georgia's played two
games in a row maybe they go in there and they're able to press them we're getting six and a half right
with texas i actually took the points and i trust kirby smart implicitly but i think it's a really
compacted game georg just played a ton of close games this year 10 of the
Tennessee game was close.
Ole Miss game was one possession.
Florida was one possession.
The Auburn game feels closer than any of those,
even though it was a 10-point game.
Their blowout was last week.
Georgia handled Mississippi State.
I don't know physically that you're going to handle Texas.
I just don't think you're going to, I said this last year.
I don't think you're going to run the ball in Texas like that.
So I'm going to take Texas plus the points.
Josh, the line has moved to five and a half,
are you still fine with that?
The line's moved to five and a half that's breaking.
Is that on the card five and a half?
It is on five and a half.
Okay.
That's on me.
Because last night when I was hitting the notes,
I have the spread next to the game as well.
I was taking Georgia at six and a half.
I'm going to take them at five and a half.
I'll take Texas at five and a half.
I'll take Texas as well.
I think we talk about Kirby Smart in November.
And we talked about last week about Mississippi State.
They're going to make it a game.
And it was just exactly what Georgia does.
They just know how to beat teams,
going to stock to nose how to morph into whatever Kirby Smart needs it to be.
for that game to be successful.
And it is.
Like, I respect Sarkas a coach.
I think he's a great coach.
I think if you're just looking at what both coaches have done,
like one team is still figuring out their identity.
There's a lot of hope and optimism
because of the way Arch Manning has played so far.
But it's like still the Georgia Bulldogs.
Gunner Stockton has been exactly what they need to be.
They got, what, three running backs
who are all, could be starters anywhere else in college football.
And they play similar games.
And I just think I'm going to take the more proven product
over one that,
you know, we get out of this game and Texas beats Georgia or keeps it close. It's like,
okay, Texas, I'm really excited to keep watching them. Obviously, their season is probably over now.
I don't know about that. We'll get to that in a second. I'll just finish. The season is probably over now.
But like the Archmanning conversation, he's down in his luck. He's turned around. Is he injured? Is he not injured?
Now he's throwing the way he is. Like, that would be very exciting for me to like, like, appreciate and love.
Yep. But Sark losing two of his three games in Georgia. This being at home,
for Georgia and then having the longest, you know, home win streak until Alabama broke there
earlier this year. Like, they've struggled on the road. Kirby Smart, November football, Georgia Bulldogs.
Right, but defensively, they just don't get after the quarterback. I don't disagree.
So just knowing that arch will have a cleaner pocket is where, is where that hope and optimism lines.
Because Texas can get after the quarterback. Because, you know, what would you say, it's like,
Marcel Reed, he's been, he's been kind of getting into some Heisman conversations, right?
Someone bet him earlier this week.
Yeah, Texas A&M is undefeated.
He's the quarterback of that team.
Arch Manning statistically is very similar to Marcel Reed.
But he's had so many, you know, he's had those lapses earlier in the year.
Yeah, their stats are similar.
Yeah, but mobility-wise.
Arch's got, like, I want to say over 200 on the ground.
Marcel's, what, over 300 on the ground?
Marcel's got more of, like, I just think he's got a little more twitch and a little more wiggle than Arch does.
So it was like getting away and stuff like that, like being able to extend.
But Arch is very, very, very.
athletic even with the last name manning.
I think Reed like he's...
What a sentence. I mean, right?
Yeah, you're not wrong.
At the end of the day, it's like, let's go with the proof.
Let's not overthink this.
Like, I'm excited about Texas and what they've been able to do at this point.
But Georgia is Georgia, and it's November when Georgia plays their best football.
Said it last week.
I'll say it again.
Fall Don't Lie Tour is in the building for this game.
Wow.
That's the first thing.
The second thing, let's just rewind a second.
You said Texas loses this game in their seasons probably.
will be done. But do we really think that? They're ranked, I think, 10th right now in the playoffs.
They'd be nine and three, correct? It would be, if there's enough. If they lose this and they
will paint this picture for us. All right. So we just watched Iowa at number 20, play a close
game against Oregon, lose, and only drop one spot. My opinion is, if Texas goes on the road
loses a very close competitive game, 24 to 21, to Georgia, but then they wrap their season by,
by beating Texas A&M to hand A&M their first loss.
I think the three-loss Texas is the three-loss team that could make the playoff.
They may need like one or two things to happen, but I think three-lossed Texas.
I think they paved the way for them last night.
I think the committee already cleared the runway, and now Texas has just got to find a way.
And I think the scenario is they lose this game, because you're just going to get minimally punished
for losing a close game on the road against the top five team.
Yeah, Georgia's five or six, top ten team.
Right.
And then if you beat A&M at the end of the season, like that's the final data point.
That's like going to the carnival and swinging the hammer and hitting the bell and it goes all the way up to the top.
That's the last image they have.
Not to mention the Texas logo matters in the committee room, whether they want to say it or not.
So I think Texas, even if they go in there and they lose this game competitively, it's deflating because unlike Pitt, they are in a must-win situation because legit programs always think they're in a must-win situation.
They come out of Athens knowing they still got, they may still have everything in front of them.
May.
Well said.
Do you think they beat A&M though?
We'll get to that.
We'll get to that Thanksgiving week.
Yeah.
It isn't awesome.
That defense can neutralize anybody.
Well, I'm talking about A&M?
I'm talking about Texas.
Just saying Mississippi State hung 38 on them.
So can they neutralize anybody?
Manabelle put 31 on them.
But that was like a back, that was, it was, the game was, it was, it was Diego
Poppy in the last five minutes.
Well, this would be future Heisman trophy winner, Marcel Reed.
Yeah.
Best $100 you ever bet.
Come on, man.
You think it's Marcel Reed?
Plus 8.50 odds.
Who's got a better chance in your mind?
You like the value.
Marcel Reed or Emma Johnson.
He's got money on Marcel Reed, so.
You have to see the way the season finishes.
What?
I don't know.
You got weird about it.
I did?
Yeah.
Anytime the Brasset comes in the fold,
no, there's a different trigger.
No, I'm more so saying, like,
I'm just more so saying for a running back,
you have to finish in a much different way
than a quarterback does.
Yeah.
Who's the final two games?
Penn State and Iowa.
Two pretty good teams.
Two pretty good defenses.
Is that a, are those two foxhole games for us?
Well, if anyone knows about foxholes, we know about foxholes.
So if you hang 200 on both of those teams, it's tough to do.
But I think that's your purpose.
Well, number one, your purpose is to win nine games.
And number two, your purpose is, let's win someone a trophy around here.
Maybe the Doak Walker Award.
Maybe, maybe bigger.
Maybe bigger.
Maybe bigger.
We'll see how it goes.
We'll see how it goes.
Dogs of the week.
I'm going Arkansas.
Plus five and a half against LSU.
My boy, hey, they don't know who's playing this week.
Arkansas first LSU.
The boy got benched last week.
Yeah, he did.
So yeah, I like Arkansas against LSU.
Great.
That's also my weekly parlay, but I took LSU.
So my dog of the week, I'm going Virginia.
Dropped one last week.
They played Duke.
like three this is the third time this year i've gone in the fandole sportsbook app and i've just seen
duke and for whatever reason like bolds to me and i'm like why why is a line like that and i've been
two and o in that situation this is one of those weeks again virginia five and a half i'm taking
peru plus 16 and a half against washington because i keep betting peru because they're underrated
they're undervalued they're a bad team but they keep being given too many points they keep losing
and cover it so i'm going to take peru plus 16 and a half at washington a lot of rumors
up there about Jed Fish and his future. And I know where Barry Odom's going to be next year,
at least I think I do. I think he's going to be in West Lafayette, Indiana. And I think he's
got an improving team. They haven't tapped out. They're not good, but at least they haven't tapped
out. So probably lose by 10. I'm going to take him to win and cover. I'm going to take him to
cover, not win, just cover. Ladies and gentlemen, we're up this episode. Just let you know. If you
don't already know, the voice for profit boost token available every college football Saturday.
That's a profit boost on any college football Saturday bet. Just open up the Fando's Sportsbook app.
this Saturday and look out for the boosting with the boys PBT.
Weekly parlay.
Weekly parlay, I took LSU minus five and a half.
Don't look for the parlay.
BYU minus four and a half against TCU.
Penn State's going to roll against Michigan State.
That's a top 20 JP poll team, Penn State once again.
I did, in the beginning of the show, I was kind of just thumbing through these cards,
and I saw the Penn State, and I thought, seven and a half.
Wow.
Yep.
What a gift being given.
that you just snashed right up.
Double digits.
Yeah, that's a great big.
Trying to get Jonathan Smith out of town,
trying to probably negotiate something up there.
Michigan State's done.
They've tapped out for the season.
Penn State, second life.
Penn State finally finding out,
and we can throw the ball down the field.
Wow.
Nick Singleton, I can still run the ball.
Do it against Michigan State.
Could be a fun time.
Who the Boys and Blue got?
Boys and Blue are playing Northwestern
at Wrigley Field in Chicago.
away home game for Michigan.
I think it was 12.5.
Might be less now.
Away home game?
Yeah, like the alumni and Michigan is very prominent in Chicago.
And they're playing at Wrigley Field.
A lot of go blue in Chicago.
A lot of go blue in Chicago.
Think about all the times we connect.
We're like going to an Oregon or something like that
and we're in Chicago.
How many Michigan hats you see?
Fair enough.
Yeah.
So.
11 and a half.
For Michigan, dude, this is a game that's like
that I wanted the Purdue game to be
that I wanted the Michigan State game to be.
like North Washington is going to sell out to stop the run.
I don't think they'll be able to do that.
A lot of guys are injured on the defensive side of the ball.
I think it's more of like a caution.
Like, hey, we know what's coming up for the next couple of weeks.
But I think this is a big game for Bryce to take a next step.
Like there was a lot of misthrows in that Purdue game.
He didn't play well.
But receivers were open.
He just didn't hit him.
I think this is a big opportunity for him to take that step this week
because in two weeks you've got the game.
They are the team.
Michigan is the playoff team that no one's talking about.
I don't even think most of America understands,
do they control their Big Ten destiny right now?
If they get Ohio State in there and they beat them,
both of them were one loss in conference,
you got the tiebreaker over them.
It comes down to USC.
Like if USC goes to Oregon and loses,
that's their second conference loss,
so you don't have to worry about USC because they'd have the head to head over you.
So if USC loses either this week or next week,
and they're out of the picture,
it could if you take care of business between now and Thanksgiving week that game against
Ohio State is for a trip to the Big Ten championship game and I don't think anyone realizes that
people have already just they've penciled in Ohio State Indiana Ohio State Indiana ohio state Indiana
you don't even do you go down you like scroll down on the college football you scroll over at the
bottom it'll say Indiana Ohio State yeah they don't even know Michigan can still bet on the game
yeah you can bet on the game and I and I wasn't like as far as like big 10 championships go like I'm so
focused on them like having the possibility making it's the playoffs and it's like the line's probably
going to be ridiculous again like it was last year that's your path you've got to beat ohio state to make
the playoff a hundred percent and in doing so you may just pave your way to the big 10 championship game
in the process now a hypothetical situation i mean michigan beats ohio state which we have in the last
four years we're a better team this year than we were last year and i would argue that ohio state
might be just like a little bit worse a little bit maybe more complete as a full team
But I don't even want to get into that.
We beat Ohio State.
We go to the Big Ten Championship.
We'll lose to Indiana.
You're in.
In.
Yeah, you're in.
All right.
Because you would have been in the top 10 already.
They're not going to bump.
They're not going to bump this.
Yeah, where you guys add in the playoff rankings?
I think like 15, 16.
We're in those mid-teen areas.
A win over Ohio State would be the best win anyone has all year.
You would easily jump into the top 10.
And at that point, if you're in that playoff bubble going into conference championship Saturday,
they didn't bump SMU out last year for losing a conference top.
game. They're certainly not going to bump you out.
The logo too.
Yep.
I can't wait for that game, man.
Because it really is.
No one's talking about. Everyone just thinks about Oklahoma, the USC game, which the
USC game was an indictment on our entire program.
And the defense has truly turned it around and played completely different football
since then. Blitz has gone down, I think, 25%.
They were like above 50% blitzing before the USC game.
After the USC game, we're like 25% now.
So it's a much more control.
controlled, disciplined defense.
That game's going to be unbelievable.
I'm so excited for it.
Focus on Northwestern.
No doubt.
Don't look past Northwestern.
The big one is Maryland.
Mike Locksley, still the head coach at Maryland.
Is he?
Thought he got fired.
Well, Twitter would have you believe that.
The final bite segment,
we're giving a bold prediction,
hot take storyline flying out of the radar.
This gives fans one thing to keep in mind
before finishing their week and tuning into kickoff.
Before we get into this final bite
segment this episode of the locker room is brought to you by
McDonald's all new buffalo ranch sauce. New Buffalo ranch sauce
has arrived and it pairs perfectly with your snack wrap
McChisbee chicken sandwich and McCrispy strips. It's got the
zangy tangy of buffalo with the creamy cool of mild ranch. It's mild and
wild at the same time. It's a sauce that balances itself
and compliments our crispy chicken. Your boy I
personally love the Mcrispy sandwich the most and there's a new
sauce in town at McDonald's tangy, creamy buffalo ranch
order now. Available for a limited time at participating McDonald's while supplies last. Let's get
into this final bite segment. You had a nice little bull tag earlier this week revolving around
Nebraska. People know my Nebraska stuff. I'm going to say my final bite as you're dipping in
that little buffalo zesty sauce. I'm going to say Arch Manning throws for 350 and three touchdowns
and Texas beats the Georgia Bulldogs. So you're going to take that money on?
No, not for the record.
Oh, okay.
It's my final.
We already did that part.
It's a hypothetical there.
I like that.
Dipping in denim, boys.
Hashtay dip it in denim.
You need both takes?
I'm just going to say, I didn't pick either of these things to happen outright.
Oklahoma and Texas, both off-bys, both on the playoff bubble right now.
They both go on the road to face Bama and Georgia this weekend.
If they were to both go in there and win, I don't really think people,
understand how close we are to an absolute and utter chaos seven SEC playoff team type world.
But there's a world where if just these things happen, Vandy, Texas, and OU went out.
If just those things happen, we would have seven SEC teams with two losses or fewer.
At which point the committee is going to have to look and either say, all right, seven of you are in,
or they're going to have to look at a two loss SEC team and say, no,
So we can't let you in bad optics.
In that situation, does that mean no ACC team?
There is a world.
Now, that's a real chaos scenario.
Super chaos.
Red button.
You got to have Duke win the ACC with four losses and be ranked lower as a conference
champ than USF in the American and James Madison in the Sunbelt.
USF would be ranked higher than them.
So they would get in.
They would get the fifth guarantee or fourth guarantee.
spot. The fifth guaranteed spot, there's a school of thought out there, and I don't know if I buy
into it, that says an ACC champ of any record is going to be given the nod over James Madison
with a strength of schedule in the 100s and a double-digit loss to Louisville is their only
loss of the year, ironically, an ACC team. I don't know if I believe that, but I don't know where
the committee has James Madison because they do this little slide of hand thing where they show you
their top 25 and they let you know who their highest ranked G5 team is, if there's no G5 team
in the 25, they don't let you know anything after that. So James Madison could be ranked 27th,
57th, no one knows. And they leave that wiggle room so that when they get to the end of the year,
if they've got this total disaster on their hands, and Duke, who has the second best odds to win the
ACC right now, by the way, if Duke wins the conference with four losses and you're looking at
the situation you thought could never happen, which is one of the power for,
conference champ is not one of the five highest ranked conference champs, they can still somehow
get them in. I don't know if that needs to happen for the seven SEC team, but forget about the
rest of the landscape. Just imagine a world where you get to the finish line and seven SEC teams
have two losses or less. Forget about whatever the rest of the field looks like. If it's crowded,
if it's wide open, just think about telling a two loss SEC team, Vandy's probably a team, by the way.
They just went two losses.
They finished with a win in Neeland Stadium to end the year.
Imagine telling 10 and 2 Vanderbilt, we don't have room for you.
Not invited to the party.
Because no one would have said in July, if any of these teams goes 10 and 2, they're going to get left out.
Everyone would have thought, if you go 10 and 2 in the SEC, no matter what, like you're going to have a spot.
If you go 10 and 2 in any of the power force, like you have a spot.
Pretty much.
Unless you just play like a really paper soft schedule.
And Vanderbilt won't have the highest strength of schedule in the world.
But it'll be plenty good enough, you would think.
So that's the thing.
Like you got to keep a close eye on OU in Texas this weekend.
Because, again, it's not mid-October.
We're in mid-November.
So there are three weeks left.
Some teams only have two games left.
So we're running out of time for, quote, unquote,
things to work themselves out.
Sometimes things don't work themselves out.
I need it.
This is the best year of college football so far.
I need that shit, dude.
Just chaos.
Yeah.
That would be so, that would be amazing.
I would love that.
You have a final bite?
Yeah, my final bite will be Pitt scores less than 10.
Notre Dame scores more than 40.
Oh, so someone does score 40.
It's just not USC.
It's Notre Dame.
Yeah, I could see that happening.
I see the first couple series pit running to an issue,
and then doubt creeps into Pitt's head,
and then they remember that press conference of their head coach.
And they're like, well, it doesn't matter.
Yeah, there's like an ISO-Camping.
camera shot of players during the game looking at each other and going yeah hey just shrugging this one
doesn't matter to us then they laugh yeah they laugh they giggle check their phone yep oh that'd be
awesome yeah some guys have like seeds in their mouth already it's the second quarter but i can
definitely see netherdame just blowing the doors off them you see that kind of press comments man like
you got to be in the hot seat in it immediately i don't know was it nar dozy yeah i don't know him
uh my sample size of him is watching that sound bite press in the press conference
That's all I need to know.
It's horrible for culture.
Horrible.
And there says 2015.
Horrible for culture.
That's your first impression of him is a press conference in week 12 of the 2025 season.
And he's saying, that's not a must win this week.
Lose by 100.
Don't care.
Got Georgia Tech either way.
Right.
To me, it's terrible.
Great show, boys.
Tees and peas, man.
Dude, thank you.
Get better.
It's really these next 96 hours for me are going to be.
Yeah.
Brutal.
We love you.
We appreciate you.
Make sure you are subscribed to the channel.
Let's win them all.
Good luck this weekend.
Win them all.
We can.
Wait, no, you guys took Georgia, or you guys in Texas.
We can't.
I'm just going to sit here.
I know, I'm just going to put this in the photo.
