Episode Date: August 12, 2025Recorded: August 06, 2025 Will Compton and Taylor Lewan are back at it again with another legendary Bussin' With The Boys episode. NFL MVP, Josh Allen and Bills GM Brandon Beane sit down with Will and... Taylor in Buffalo for some hilariously fun interviews. Will and Taylor kick off the episode talking Cam Ward and Shedeur Sanders preseason hype. They then discuss the AFC West being the best coached division top to bottom in the NFL, and announce Taylor's official shot at first pitch redemption coming next week in Kansas City! The Boys are in Buffalo for their Training Camp tour! Brandon Beane, the mastermind GM of the Bills, sits down to talk everything from building a Super Bowl contender to making the toughest calls in the business. From the Damar Hamlin game to why the Combine might be overrated, Beane gives a behind-the-scenes look at the NFL you don’t normally hear. Then NFL MVP and QB1 himself, Josh Allen, joins the bus. We’re talking rivalries with the Chiefs, life on and off the field, how he keeps his edge, and yes… the king of dick jokes makes his return. Bills Mafia, this one’s for you! Big Hugs and tiny Kisses! Hey guys, it's us
The Jonas Brothers.
I'm Joe.
I'm Kevin.
And I'm Nick.
And guess what?
We created our own podcast called, Hey Jonas.
We invented a podcast?
Well, we didn't invent it.
We just contributed to it.
We're the first people to do podcasts.
We get to ask other people questions because we're sick and tired of being asked questions.
Well, sick and tired is a strong way to put it.
But, you know, tired and sick.
Listen to Hey Jonas on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcast.
Just listen.
We don't care where you hear it.
Here's something that should not be as complicated as it is, getting a racist statue removed.
And here's something that should be a whole lot easier than it is, getting a new one put up in its place.
I'm Akila Hughes, and Rebel Spirit Season 2 is about both of those things.
As I was watching these statues come down, I was thinking about what it meant that I grew up in a majority black city in which there were more homages to enslavers than there were to enslave people.
Listen to Rebel Spirit Season 2 on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.

UFC 319.
Will and I, we're putting our money where our mouth is.
We've locked in our pick for the main event,
and now it's your turn to either ride with us or ride against us.
Choice is yours.
That's right.
The boys are rolling with Hamzot.
Hamzot.
No disrespect to Driscus.
Won't have it.
But Hamzot's a problem.
Absolute problem.
Now, whether you're going to, you think we're going to nail the pick or you're

Talking about UFC 319, let's go.
Let's kick it to our expert analyst, J.P. Hovey.
I'm fading the boys.
Fading the boys.
Yeah, the true African king.
I feel like I've doubted him in probably his last two fights and I'm done, I'm done
doubting him.
I think if they fought, if they, if he wins and they fight a second time, then I'll roll with Hamzot.
But I think Drickis is too, he's too awkward.
He's too, he's too weird of a fighter.
So I'm rolling with him.
Let's always make me nervous.
Let's do a little rapid fire.
Let's whip it around.
See if we're fading or going with.
And the good news.
That's the dude, the white dude, right?
Yeah, that Adasanya.
I like his swag.
Yeah, yeah.
I do like his swag.
The thing, too, that's good about this, that we're split.
I think this will be the first time that we could.
Somebody on the bus wins a UFC bet.
Finally.
It's finally time.
Can't go wrong this way.
Yeah, can't go wrong this way.
Who did it?
Who was it?
Did he, that he called out?
Was it Izzy?
Yeah.
And Izzy came in the, he's like, say it.
Yeah.
Say it.
What was he trying to make him say?
It's like, there's actually a football player.
His last name sounds a lot like it.
He's dropping new merch.
Yeah, he dropped a hat.
Yeah, he dropped the hat.
What's his name?
Noah.
It starts with a K.
Yeah
It's sort of like pneumonia where the P is silent
The K is silent in his name
You know the linebacker
Noah
I don't think I do
Yeah you do
I need JP to say it
Noah could
Noah Katriga
Yeah but you know
Yeah we're getting a little close
We're getting a little too close
You said it before we got on
Yeah but that's where the cameras are off
I don't know how it works JP
Jackie you uh oh
Yeah, I do know this cat
I do know this cat
I cannot imagine
being a broadcaster
sitting there with this guy on the field
with him having a big catch
You got to hope that he just doesn't make a
You just got to be kind of
You just got to hope
Yeah you had a hope
Unfortunately for this kid as a broadcaster
You hope this kid fails
He's going to Max Crosby's college
No doubt
Eastern Michigan
Yeah no doubt
Jack you riding or you fading
Fading
True African King, Driscus.
Sure, riding or fading?
Fading, Trafficking King, Driscus.
Is Hizm not the guy that trains with Khabib?
Yeah.
I'm going with him.
All right, Mitch is with the boys.
Mitch is with the boys.
They slowly bleed him out out there.
Yeah.
I don't even know who it is, but I'm going to fade you guys.
True African King.
True African King.
Shout out that one.
Yeah, back here versus the front of the bus and Mitch.
Big news as we stick on UFC, they just signed a massive deal with parents.
amount plus $7.7 billion.
They do it again.
They do it again.
Hey, that is crazy.
Crazy.
Just constantly leveling up over and over again.
I think it's wild, too, that they, ESPN lost them.
Yeah.
ESPN just signed.
Its own moves, yeah.
Well, they just signed a big deal with the WWE to where all their, they're basically,
I think it's like they're taking their pay-per-view formula where they have 12 paper
views and it's going to be on ESPN now.
but ESPN losing the UFC because I want to say the WWE deal was like one point something billion dollars with the WWE.
Yeah.
And seeing the UFC go to Paramount Plus and CBS for $7.7 billion and get away from the pay-per-view model.
Now everybody, as long as you're, I would assume a subscriber of Paramount Plus, now you get to watch all the UFC main events for free.
Yeah, the pay-per-view model is out.
Is out. And if WWB is only doing 12 per year, I mean, UFSI.
see does 48 shows a year.
I mean, that's,
that's a lot of, that's a lot more events.
It's a lot more time.
Isn't WWE and UFC,
aren't they both owned by Endeavor?
IMG too?
There's something as it gets higher and higher
when it gets closer to someone.
They're just getting all the
Illuminati.
They do, they do it big.
They're the Black Rock of Entertainment.
They really are the Black Rock of their team.
They're all in the same team, but they've created enemies in the public,
the competition's going on, but they're all alone.
But did you see it with UFC?
The amount of production they put in a thing.
I also shout,
this guy, Tollbolt, right here, dude.
Dog.
Got to see him fight at the apex, like two or three times.
And now this dude's on the main car, which is awesome.
But seeing the whole event and how they put together these UFC fights,
we've had the, we've had the opportunity to go to least a dozen of these things now.
They don't miss in production.
They do not miss.
They crush it.
Even going back to the sphere, I know they'll probably never do the sphere again,
but that event alone was one of the craziest things.
It was like watching a Mortal Kombat video game.
live. It's got to be positive news too for the fighters yeah you think uh
back fighters will be benefiting from this more money for everybody right is it the end of
crack streams has to be right has to be has to be you can as long as you're a subscriber
you get to watch it right I'm not a subscriber right now and I honestly hated Paramount
Plus until this so I'm like you go to check out Landman I saw I saw something
this guy on the plane
Jack and I just trying to play cards.
Everyone got to get in their computers,
watch Landman or would you watch?
Your friends and neighbors.
Your friends and neighbors.
Come on, John Hamm.
It's a great show, too.
John Ham's and Landman.
God.
I tell you, I took the first step in watching Severance this weekend.
Oh, nice.
First step, what does that mean?
We went to Apple.
We were thinking about something to watch,
and then we got in the game.
We watched the next South Park episode.
And then by that time, it was like 10, 15,
and you know, I was getting sleepy-eyed.
So you didn't watch an episode.
But listen, the first step, we started scrolling a little bit,
And I go, this is it, Taylor.
And she's like, Severance.
I pulled it up.
They played the first trailer.
And she's like, can I be honest?
I have no idea what it's even about.
I was like, I don't either.
But everyone says how incredible it is.
Right, because you watch the trailer and it's like,
you have no idea what the hell is going on.
It starts off with them in a room and they're like, you guys know,
blah, blah, but no one else can know.
And then the one guy's like, if we don't stick up for this girl now,
who's going to stick up for us when it happens?
And then all these things.
And then I heard Mr.
Milkcheck.
or whatever his name is.
Oh.
I saw his name.
I know that's a big name.
That's like saying Voldemore in this spot.
So that's a big deal.
You can say his name.
But shit, dude.
Yeah, we took the first step.
I put the trailer on.
Next step is watching the first episode.
Have you all watched shrinking?
Yeah.
Great show.
I was like I was asking them.
Okay.
Three or four?
Three or four.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Taye gets a little odd about our nighttime routine.
She likes,
no, she likes to keep it a little more chill.
She doesn't want to get,
like shrinking does.
You know Taylor
It pulls on you
Yeah
You know they'll be in the middle
Shranky
You look over
Taylor'll just be on that
2048 game
Yeah
Taylor's been on my ass
But that game too
As I'm in search
Of the greatest score of all time
I looked it out
What the highest score is
I looked it up
Don't tell me what it is
It's a lot
Okay my high right now
Is 1.2 million
Okay
But it's done
It's done with the undo button
Yes
No no no no doubt
Like I'm not trying to be like
I'm the greatest
I literally can get
2048
pretty consistently now
It'll still get you
once in a while
just based on where those little squares go.
But now that I've gotten 2048, I'm like,
I wonder what the highest score you can get is.
So I am manipulating the game because eventually it'll be two, four,
and then I'll have to stack all the way
and there will be no way to get more points.
What is the end?
I'm just trying to find the end of the rainbow, buddy.
So you need a cheat code that just put you at 1.4
so you don't have to keep trying to climb to 1.4 every time.
The problem is I fuck up sometimes, man.
I mess up and I'll accidentally,
or like the other day I was at like 800,000.
And I'll put it down
and I'll go do something
I'll get back to it
But I was 800,000
I walk upstairs
Get a little pomp-skan
Shout out SorenX
And I open
My phone didn't close
And I look over
And it's all
Discompobular
I'm like this is over
And it's just heartbreaking
You should just play against the clock now
See how fast you can get
Dude that's hard too
Because then motherfuckers
Start popping up like crazy
2048 is what we're talking about
We don't need to talk about this anymore
Shout out you SHRinking
You should watch shrinking
You should watch Severance
You should watch Lernerner
Landman.
I know I love Billy Bob Thorne too.
You can subscribe to Paramount Plus, hit up Landman.
Man's good.
Yeah.
I got to,
I'm starting to get upset with these streaming accounts, though, dude.
It's just taking over.
It's just too much monthly nut.
It's funny how you get back to...
It's too much nut.
You're getting back to the model where you're subscribed to all the different streams.
Ads are in there.
You're back to watching commercials.
Yeah.
They got us.
They won.
Yeah.
Because cable, you get a couple of streams.
You're like,
I can just get rid of cable because I have these two streams and it's half the price of cable.
No commercials.
No commercials.
I'm just running through what I want to run through.
Now they're throwing ads on you.
You got to pay a premium if you want the ad free.
Right.
It's a cycle that's getting back.
And then God forbid you go to Apple and you want to watch a movie and it's like $24.99 to rent it.
And it's $29.99 just to buy it.
And you're like, what do I do here?
What movie?
It would have to be like a new release.
Oh, okay.
Like a new release movie that you're like, oh, whatever.
The new Mission Impossible was out in theaters
and now it's on Apple
and you can find it, but you can buy it.
But like the renting,
you get it for 48 hours is five bucks less
but it's still in the 30s or the high 20s.
Then you got Hulu, Disney, Paramount Plus, Netflix,
Peacock, Amazon.
Got to have them all.
TNT's got their own streaming service.
AMC's got their own streaming service.
Last year was the year where there was an NFL game
basically on every streaming service
that you had to have.
Yeah.
This year too.
And your boys want to watch ball.
You want to watch ball.
Well, I don't even think about it.
because they got me.
You know what I mean?
Like they got me last year.
I think about it every first of the month.
When I see multiple Apple slash bill come through 1099, Apple slash bill the next day, 1299.
I like, these motherfuckers just get me over and over again.
I buy nothing.
It don't matter, dude.
It's the principle of all of it.
It's the principle.
We seem to bring it all into one monopoly and knock it out.
It'll happen someday a bit.
Shit, I don't know if I amG can afford it, dude.
We need empowered to buy it.
whatever they're called. Big week of preseason football. Big week, Cam Ward. First,
series gets a little nervous, huh boys? First series? I think, uh, I mean, we went, what,
three and out, but he had time. He had time. It was always looking for. The line looked nice.
Yeah, all the line looked nice. Corey Levin was in there for Cushingberry, passing off some games,
calling it it being the, being the quarterback of the offensive line, crushing it. Yeah.
He did a good job. That second series happens, and he was Dyson.
them up.
Dicing them up.
Calvin Ridley was going off.
I get a little nervous.
Almost.
Almost.
But I love,
horses and hand grenades.
I love the balls to throw it.
Yeah.
It's preseason.
He looked confident.
He looked urgent.
He looked calm.
I feel like, you know,
expectations, like you don't really have many expectations.
You just want to see the way guys operate.
And I feel like Cam Ward operated really well.
I think he's going to be a stud.
I also think Shadur operated well.
Shadur operated well.
One thing that worries me a little bit is Cam did.
gone to the ball for a long time he had great protection but none of the Tampa
base starters their defensive line wasn't really coming at all so that's that's going
a little different though you see the way he's going through progression yeah yes yes yes
absolutely he could have looked like uh Quinn yours and he didn't so that's good yeah
shadur looked great played well the boys hit our profit boost token on shader plus two touchdowns
and then also did you see the clip of him going up to the reporter yes it was there like
pseudo paul koharski which is like the villain of the local reporters of cleveland you
You write nothing but negative.
You're gonna say something nice about me.
And I saw like the comment that got me to click on the video
was like Shudor stands up to a reporter type thing.
And I looked at it and I thought Shudor was like respectful,
but like giving him a hard time about being so.
Yeah, I thought he did a great job of handling himself.
You can tell they got a relationship.
Fat-ass chater out of deck.
He says something to him makes him laugh.
They're like laughing together.
Yeah, yeah.
So it's good, man.
It's nice to see him having a little success.
I like this post game press or two.
He handled it all very well.
Yeah, he just talks about like, uh, he talks about, you know,
understanding the perspective he has on the opportunity to inspire a younger generation and he's hearing
about people in prison talking about they're watching him and how can you be down with that and he's
like he is he acknowledges that he's in a position that he's never been in before that he's had
to face adversity wise and he's like they don't have to let me go out there and play and basically
just taking advantage of the opportunity trying to stay steady and also having the perspective
of people rooting for him and knowing that he does inspire and how that that lifts him up I just
thought he handled it really well. I've liked, I've, I've, I've enjoyed watching him operate. The
noise is obviously very loud around Shadur Sanders. You got people using them as a vessel to argue
their angle, the other angle going on. And it's just, he's got his head down. He's working.
It seems like the Browns do have a plan with them with all of their different guys on the
roster. And the fact that he did get to go out there and he performed well, like he was poised.
Again, he was urgent, but like calm while he was, while he was operating. I thought he looked
Good, man.
Yeah.
Browler has themselves a very interesting situation at the end of camp with how many
quarterbacks they have.
And then you just throw in Deshaun Watson who's sitting there a guaranteed $160 million
contract who's not going to start the year.
And they got Flacco, the old guy, two draft picks in the third and fifth round,
and then Kenny Pickett's also sitting there as well.
They have to make some big choices.
Can't keep that many quarterbacks on your roster.
And it seems like they got a lot of talent there, too.
What week does you ever start?
I don't know.
It would be interesting to see how the year unfolds.
I think the big positive coming out, too, is like people talk about the limited reps he gets in practice.
Seeing how he operated in a live game, I think speaks volumes because when you are lower on the depth chart, you don't get a whole lot of reps.
Like when I was our first preseason game and I came out to Tennessee and I got to work with the twos, it kind of happened because injuries happened ahead of me.
I'm going from having four to eight reps at practice to then you're operating with the twos maybe two days before your first preseason game.
and you're still expected to go out there and perform.
Coaches want to see how you handle all the information coming to you
and if you can go out there and execute,
like when the bullets are flying the game's live.
So even when people are arguing about,
oh, he's not going to get starters, this, that the other.
It doesn't matter.
It's the operation.
It's the lights are on, the moment.
Even though it's a preseason game,
it's still big for those guys.
There's a lot of pressure on Chauder being a fifth round pick,
being a guy with limited reps,
all the noise around him,
and then going out and having his game day routine
and having him operate,
pressure, run the operation, execute the offense,
goes through his progressions.
I think he helped himself a shitload with the way he played the other day.
And the argument of it being a preseason game plays for a lot of guys with Shadur,
I don't think it plays because he is the people that want to succeed are putting a
microscope on them.
The people that want to hate and hopefully he fails are putting a microscope on every
single pass, every single snap, how he's operating every single thing.
So yeah, with Shadir to go out there, do what he did.
That is a very impressive thing to do for him.
So hopefully there's a great story
There's a great story we can look at
Football is right around the corner
It'll be fun as it gets close to the end of preseason
And they're making these decisions
Yeah
Because it seems like Joe Flacco's going to be the guy
And then it's going to be
It seems like there'll be a battle here
Between like Dylan Gabriel
Shadur and Kenny Pickett
Yeah
Because they didn't get it
Did they get any reps?
Dylan was out
I knew Dylan was out
I know Joe didn't play
But did Pickett go in?
You think he probably did or he did?
Yeah.
Because they brought in, yeah, they brought in Huntley.
Yeah, if guys are injured again, it's with preseason,
you're trying to find serviceable guys so you don't have,
you know, if you're wanting Chedur to get reps,
he's not out there the entire game and everything, everything like that.
You sit here on August 11th as we're filming this intro,
and you just kind of hate to say it,
but a PCU wants to wish away these next couple of weeks.
Because the 28th, it all begins.
Yeah.
get to fly out to Kansas City
watch your boys take on Cincinnati
rumors are throwing
about the boys might be in Columbus
there's just a lot
there's just a lot of fun times ahead
fellas a lot of fun times ahead
and that game too in Columbus
the most exciting
season opener first time in
college football history
right? One verse two out of the gate
right there
go get it
National champion toasting.
Yes.
It is going to be.
Archie Manning.
Finally making his debut as a full-time starter.
In the shoe.
And the shoe against a team that won the national championship last year,
consistently reload every single year.
There's going to be a hell of a game.
College game day, big noon kickoff.
Bussing with the boys.
Bust with the boys.
I would assume old Pate State.
Josh Pade.
Is he going to be out there?
Not sure yet.
He hasn't announced.
He just came back from his hiatus.
Okay.
He had a big show last night.
Big show update.
Yep.
Big show tonight.
So stay tuned.
It's so close.
I'm so excited for the football season.
It's going to be fun, bro.
It's going to be a lot of fun.
A lot of exciting things.
One thing we can't wish away.
A few months ago, I was in St. Louis.
I got a little confident.
Someone would say cocky about my abilities to throw a baseball and things didn't go my way.
Wide left is we'll call it.
I don't think you were cocky at all.
I think you're ready to grip and rip
and see how the ball went. You didn't care if it
from what happened
that obviously wasn't in your mind.
But you didn't care if it was a strike or not. You just wanted
to throw a hard ball. You just want to throw a fast pitch.
Which did not achieve a strike or a
hard fastball. Yeah.
Didn't achieve it. Wide left.
Wide left. Wide left.
Head hung.
Will puts it right down the middle.
So we fight and we claw and we try to get 1%
better every day. If you follow Bustin with the boys, you see I'm out
there will and i'll be sitting there will be working on something on his iPad clicking away at for the
dad's stuff which comes out every week you guys can see that and i go hey what are you doing right now he's
like well i'm kind of i was like let's get get the glove let's go play a little catch he does not
so he play catch every day now august 19th we will be flying to kansas city and i'll be throwing
out the first pitch at the kansas city royals game redemption redemption fellas we need it it's been a topic
behind the scenes because again the
virality of you going wide left
like teams have been offering hey you'll have them out
redemption pitch multiple teams which is
very very nice it hasn't
it hasn't worked out schedule wise
but we now have it dialed in August 19th
you'll be doing your redemption pitch
Kansas City Royals you'll be catching
my pitch I'll be catching yes
and if you see this is this is the dreaded ball
that took away my athletic ability it's signed
when I throw the ball to you I need you to sign it after
if you hit the glove that's the question
I think if we go around,
we could sit here and say
ball or a ball or strike,
I think we'd all lean towards
probably a ball.
Catchable or not catchable,
I think is the category
we should go with here.
Because if Will doesn't have to move his feet
and he can just kind of put,
like,
you know,
use those,
his words,
short arms to catch the ball,
which makes it a smaller target for me.
I think that's a W.
I think it's a W.
So catchable or uncatchable,
Will.
Catchable.
I think you rise to the moment.
I think you've put the work in.
I do think you're going to
be nervous.
Yeah.
Very nervous.
I think you're going to be prepared, but I think the moment's going to get here in all of
the weight and all of the speculation that get 1% better every day, you do know that you
can do it, but I think when the moment comes and the moment is starting to happen, I think
you get way more nervous than you were that first time.
So that's the only question mark.
However, I think you're going to deliver, I think you're going to deliver a good redemption pitch.
I love that.
I love the explanation.
I think you're right too because I wasn't nervous.
And then Friday, I was throwing with Matt and Jack was filming.
And I had like four or five.
I heard one hit the building.
And then all of a sudden they started going everywhere.
I'm thinking, what the fuck is happening?
That's the question mark.
That's right.
Because you're like, I can throw the ball.
Everybody knows it's like you have that moment.
Are you athletic or not athletic?
You know that you can throw the ball.
And it's just like you want a redemption just to do it and show everybody.
But I think when the moment gets there, I think you're going to feel a little something.
I agree.
I agree.
because I started feeling that on Friday.
I started feeling like, oh shit,
like what if I don't?
What if I am who I,
whoever thinks I am?
You need to take the mound that we have
and put it outside
and get some actual reps on the rubber.
We have a mound?
Yeah, the one that we brought to tight in you.
Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah.
I do need to do that.
I think even that,
I think what you need to do
is you need to visualize
before you go to bed every night.
You need to feel the environment.
You need to feel the space all around your body
because it's going to seem a lot bigger
a lot wider on your body.
You're going to feel on your own.
You're going to feel on an island.
You're going to feel all of our opinions.
JP, Jack, whoever goes with is standing and watching me behind the plate.
You need to envision me behind the plate, the smell of your glove,
the feel of the ball, the feel of the release.
You need to do that over and over.
So that way you've thrown the ball a thousand times.
Thousand times.
Before you even got there.
And you know you just got to let your mind get out of the way of your body.
Yeah.
That's a bar, by the way.
That last little piece was a bar.
I like it.
Supporting.
Jeep.
Catch more.
catchable. Oh, you're going to throw gas.
This is amazing. Keep the vibes going, J.P.
Yeah, 80 miles per hour.
Down the middle, actually not down the middle, but you have a good catcher behind you.
I think Will frames it and it looks like a strike.
I'll take it. I'll take it.
From a content perspective.
Jack, what do you think is going to happen?
From a content perspective, I hope the inevitable happens.
I believe in you because I've seen some good throws.
The inevitable happens.
But I, yeah, I do from the sake of my job, I wouldn't hate you sailing one again.
But also, we run into the same dilemma that do people just continue to believe that it's a bit?
Because I want people to understand Taylor's pitch was not a bit.
Was not a bit.
But you came out there wanting to pump gas.
So I don't know, it's really going to depend on where you're at mentally if you're going to try and let one eat.
Or if you're going to play the safe game and throw something that has a little juice,
but like you could have had something more.
It's been a long time since I've had lights on me, you know?
If you can...
The far do you get removed from the game,
the softer you get, you kind of forget what it's like.
Adrenaline's going to kick.
Yeah.
Oh, we got footage of me out there at Oregon.
When I lined up across the running back.
Oh, yeah.
When you talk about that feeling.
Yeah, that wasn't really talked about a whole lot.
That kind of came and went pretty fast.
What you talk about that?
No.
I think it was very quick.
That one just wasn't on national TV.
Yeah.
No, yeah, yeah, yeah.
You just get removed.
You get so used to playing in big time games over and over and over again.
And you get removed and you just kind of forget.
You forget the work that goes into it.
You forget the work that goes into it.
And I like to think I've been putting in work.
I like to think.
I know I could put in more work, though.
And that's where I need to turn it up for these next eight days.
These next eight days, which by the way, flutter in my stomach when I said eight days
because I just did the math.
That's not far.
It's not far.
We're real fucking close.
Yeah.
It's almost a week.
It's a little over a week.
It's a little over a week.
Sherm.
Catchable or uncatchable?
Very quickly, catchable.
And here's why you're a big music guy.
Listen, I've never been there in that big environment,
the opportunity.
You don't have to take my advice.
But you're a big music guy.
Get that song in your head, like the pitcher and hardball.
I like it when you call me big
pa-pa and just get in your zone dude
lock in you got it dude
rip it give them heat
chat of kiano riggs man
i think it'll be catchable
i don't know if it'll be a strike
you may dirt it but as long as
as long as the ball ends up in will's glove
it's a success
i couldn't agree more
you might make a play yeah
you might make a play like this is
this is your opportunity to be the best friend you can be
I can only hope to put it where you don't need to have to move the glove.
Skips it, pops in the mouth.
There's a couple veneers.
I'll pay for the veneers.
I'll pay for the new veneers.
You just got to keep that bowl in front of you.
You may have to shape it for him?
Let's say it does go wide.
Let's say it does go wide where you have to move your feet and get out of there.
Even if you have to move your feet and get out there and catch it, go back and then frame it.
Go back and squat and frame it.
You might need to keep a bat behind you and stand up and just nuke it.
Oh.
Dude.
Can I ask you guys a question?
Are you guys fumbling the ball when it comes to a confident clean back in your end zone?
Make the right play.
Call an audible and switch to dry, switch from dry toilet paper to wet, extra large dude wipes.
Why?
It's simple.
Wetter just cleans better.
Dude wipes are wet and larger, so they clear, never smear your rear.
So when you got to go number two, like you step on a mound for a first pitch,
be sure to bring the number one product in clean.
Dude wipes, the goat of cleaning your keister available on Amazon and at Walmart.
Dude wipes. Best clean. Pants down.
Hey, it's us, the Jonas Brothers. And guess what? We have some big news.
What's the news? Huge news.
We created our own podcast called Hey Jonas. We invented a podcast?
Well, we didn't invent it. We just contributed to our...
We're the first people to do podcasts.
Pretty, yeah, pretty wide range of podcasts throughout there.
But this one's extra special.
So how do we actually come up with a name Hey Jonas, guys?
I honestly don't remember.
I think it was on a call about what we should call it.
And, well, we were thinking I'm originally calling it one of the early names of our band before Jonas Brothers.
This is how you guys remember it going down?
Yes.
I have a very different memory of this.
We were talking about a thing, a bit for the podcast, where people could call in and say, hey, Jonas.
And then I wrote down on my little notepad, Hey Jonas, and offered it up as a potential title for the podcast.
But thanks for remembering that, guys.

tests in tennis. And I know firsthand because I competed there myself. I'm Renee Stubbs. And on
the Renee Stubbs tennis podcast, I'm breaking down everything happening at Roland Garris. Every match,
every upset and what it really takes to win on clay. Jenschen win. I mean, she went down in three
to Rabakina, but I'm delighted. She's an outsider to win the French for me. And she likes
Listen, Lennar Rabakina is arguably the best player in the world right now,
and I actually can win on any surface.
Because if she's serving, well, good luck.
Consider this your court side seat to the French Open.

What do you got?
I was going to say, everybody watching and listening right now,
make sure you tune into Hard Knocks tonight.
Oh, why's that?
The boys were in Buffalo.
What were we doing there?
We were having some fun with some content,
doing some interviews,
and a certain group asked if we wouldn't mind being featured
on a show called Hard Knocks.
Big show?
Big show.
Really?
Exciting show.
People watch?
A lot of people watch.
It's a very popular show
that people consume during training camp
during preseason just to get the blood flowing
leading up to the season.
Down low.
The voice, the song that comes in on the intro,
watch Hard Knocks.
Watch Hard Knocks.
I wonder what they're going to put in there.
We tried to pitch them a couple ideas
with the way the Josh Allen interview went
because the Josh Allen interview was just like
the boys getting around
and we're just sitting in the locker room
trying to get each other on Dick Jones
the whole time.
Yeah, if you're not a fan of Dick Joe's,
you're probably not going to enjoy that.
If you're looking for Josh Allen to break down
who he's playing with now
in the new wide receiver room
or anything else going on.
Look elsewhere.
Look elsewhere.
Yeah.
This is just a good old-fashioned boys hang.
This is, yeah.
Coming up his MVP season.
Like if you're wondering if we're going to ask him about his marriage,
I think his wife was brought up one time.
All right.
It's really about who can get tricked into a dick joke for 25 minutes.
More silence than words.
Yeah.
I feel like in the interview.
But the silence is deafening.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
The silence is entertaining if you're into boys trying to get to
boys on dick jokes.
Yeah.
Yeah.
And this is day three of our three-day training camp tour.
Yeah.
Obviously, Philly being out, not next week, but the following week, right?
Yeah.
You'll have the Buffalo, the Buffalo content drops this week.
The Eagles content will drop next week or the week after.
I kind of forget how the layout of what we're going to do.
We can't, we can't.
I think we got one spacing and then we got Eagles after that.
One spacing and then Eagles.
And last week, which by the way, thank you for showing out.
for all the New England Patriots content,
all those interviews,
people had a,
people had a great laugh.
Yeah.
With the Mike Vrabel interview.
They had a good time.
People coming up to me over the weekend,
hey,
I listen to Mike Vribble on the show,
God, he's the best.
And, you know,
yeah, he's the greatest.
What did you guys think of the Tom Brady statue?
Speaking of New England.
Amazing.
Fantastic.
Nailed it, right?
Yeah.
I thought Brady had a great speech, too,
taking a shot at the Jets.
Just as he's walking out,
just like Michael,
Michael Jordan did.
He's got to take a little shot,
little stab and then dip out of there.
How about Brave texting us the other day?
Brave shot Taylor and I a message.
It was like a screenshot from one of the clips on our Instagram at Bus and WTV.
And it was just me laughing.
And he go, what did he say?
I live my life.
Something about you, getting you to laugh like that makes his life.
Yeah.
Yeah.
And I once again texted back trying to, me too, right?
No.
He did text me.
the night before he texted us it was like you made a funny on the podcast and i was like he was
referring to the clip of me basically saying you guys are friends and i'm kind of just there yeah and then i
we had a little back and forth but i was like i anything i can do to become actual friends with you
you just let me know i'm ready when you are boss ready to take the next step in our relationship
brave that's all that's all i'm trying to say you saw the first touch for the new england patriots in the
preseason trivian henderson tuddled it bro i mean he was putting on a little clinic in practice
I'm going to say when we're watching in practice, him out of the back field.
Yeah.
I won't say too much.
You know, don't say things going to hurt the team.
I know I'm not on the head.
Yeah, exactly.
I kind of want to say it, but then I'm like, I don't want that.
Demon.
Yeah.
He could be one.
Holster who's looking like a demon right now is Harold Landry.
Rockin number two.
Just something about single digies on a fast athletic end.
Yeah, he feels healthy.
Knock on wood.
Don't talk about injuries.
Don't talk about injuries
Don't talk about injuries
Yeah
Yeah
I feel like I can still get fined
From Brabel bro
Yeah
He's just got that he's got that ability
What I did
I want to say this
Yeah I do want to apologize
For how hard I laughed
At the Luam brain joke
Oh man
Yeah can I tell you
I was listening to it
I know it's just the boys being boys
But I heard my laugh
And I laughed really hard
And I was like
I got a laugh to look too hard
At that one
Can I be honest with you
I was so in a blender
The moment he said
I don't even remember.
I'm watching it back.
I'm like, I don't feel like, yeah, she reads like her dad,
but in my head, I'm like, she's, she actually reads as good as me now.
Yeah.
And she's eight.
You're like, you're like doing your own joke, but the joke had already happened.
A joke, yeah, I'm like trying to deflect in a weird way.
It's he got me.
He got me.
He's always one step in.
And he also got my daughter too, which kind of sucks.
I know, I know.
I know.
Yeah, that goes under the radar.
You know, the boys are tight.
Yeah.
What is this?
Oh yeah.
That's what I do test.
Oh, no.
That's a C minus, baby.
I'll take a D.D.
Still gets you passing grip.
What was y'all's numbers?
I don't know why that.
Oh, it was 67.
Will is a dunce, bottom 16%.
And then mine says, retard.
Bottom two percent.
Dude, your boy, I got like 98%.
For what?
How?
This is AI.
It just analyzes your profile.
You got coffee?
That's crazy.
That mine's just a 70 then.
I mean, you got to think about your content, though.
Did that come in?
Did you order that?
I've got it for me.
And you got the thanks on the cup with the heart.
Hold up.
Taylor,
you like coffee,
right?
I love coffee.
I love black ice coffee.
Listen,
no cream,
no sugar.
Chef was on his way out.
Did he,
was he on a bender this weekend?
You never know.
No idea.
He was like,
oh,
I'm tired.
I could just tell he was like,
he said,
I need to go get some coffee.
I didn't ask him about his weekend,
but I was like,
hey,
you might grab me one too.
It's almost lunch time for him.
Is it good?
Team, team, team.
It's from Starbucks, so.
You know it's ass.
You know it's ass, but it's doing it's thing.
Starbucks, man.
Yeah.
Sal,
Sal, at first,
I was in this podcast right now,
being like Starbucks,
can't beat it.
Can't beat that cup of coffee.
You guys keep talking for a second.
I'm going to order a coffee.
Anybody want a coffee?
Gee, you want one?
Iceed Americano.
No, you got one.
Do you have to order my own?
Don't care.
I'll order my own.
Anybody want one?
G.
Shirm.
Shirm.
You sure?
I shouldn't have it, but I want it.
Hey, iced Americano.
All right.
I was going to get you, I was going to get you all my garage.
But that is crazy because I do want to bring up.
This is, I'm being a little sensitive here.
But the coffee thing is one, that's small, small little detail.
A week and a half ago, we're sitting in a team meeting and Jared and Will are giggling and laughing about playing PubGee together.
And I look over, I go, oh, you guys played last night?
and they tried to lie for a second
but they played and you know
I didn't get a text
it's all good it's all good
it's all good
but I just don't you know
it's like if you have three problems
you actually have four
because how did you get to three
you know
the true
the true goon chat was established
you know this though
we told this too
like I said it's all good
it's all good but I just want to voice
and communicate
how it made me feel
so that maybe next time
you can make the conscious decision
to hurt my
feelings or be like hey maybe i don't want to play the taylor night that's okay but just know i'm
thinking about you guys and i even know i'm a liability but none of that was even in going through
a line when that was happening that's all good like i said i was just i was just i was just speaking my
truth yeah yeah i'm gonna get this coffee you guys handle the podcast you get nice to maricona
yes sir all right shout out rochester yeah shout out rochester we do got to give a shout out to
rosschester was it try on tavern try out shout out shout out shout out
out Ben the owner. Shut up Ben the owner. Try on Tavern. We walked in there and
okay, I'm going to sound like I'm pumping our tires when I say this, but when fans come up
and they want to take photos with us, it is awesome and we love it. What I appreciate it about
everybody at Rochester or Try on Tavern is people would come over. They would offer us a drink.
We'd say no by about the fourth time. The guy just sat down beers and he's like, you have to try
this. This is on me. Blah, blah, blah, blah. So you're drinking a cold one. But
everybody's just offering hey can we buy you around or we just want to say hi if you get them in a later
love to take a picture but what i love the most is everybody said welcome to rochester like it was just
pride from their city that they were just elated that hey you guys are in trium tavern right now welcome to
rochester that's what fired me up about the fan interaction uh out there in rochester one guy said
murder rates and garbage plates by the way let's just say this the garbage plate it was just
It was just okay.
We were also stuffed from the wings were fire.
I know, but the garbage plate is so much of a, I'm so hungover and I need greasy something.
When you're in college, I feel like like, when you're in your 20s, it has potential when you're hungover.
It wasn't for me.
It wasn't, the wings?
Solid.
Solid.
Solid.
Like what I loved about the waitress was-
The kitchen in the back with Ben?
Solid.
Yeah.
Dude, when we pull up though, and like a couple people, a couple of people know us already, so the waitress
is intrigued.
has no idea who we are.
We go, hey, we're on a mission for wings.
Is there anything else that we should get?
Instead of just putting a bunch of stuff on our plate of like, hey, try this, this, this.
She's like, if your mission is wings, have wings.
And so I order the Parmesan garlic.
It's like my OG favorite flavor.
She's like, if you like the Parmesan garlic, you should put the cage in with it or do this, X, Y, and Z.
She starts putting a cocktail sauces for me.
Comes out incredible.
And they also had the try on sauce too.
How to get two plates, two of ten.
Buddy, it was amazing.
Amazing.
And you can just tell they're just a great.
community there. And I'm also a fan
of blue cheese. I did not hate it.
I did not hate it. Tasted pretty good.
Yeah, fans a strong term. I'll say
you know, taste bloods change
every couple of years. Everyone develops and grows.
It's been a while since I've had blue cheese.
When I did first try it,
I was still in my head about hating it,
but I went back to it halfway through the meal and it wasn't
awful.
It's a mental thing. Dude, the thought
process of moldy cheese is so
crazy to me. That's like, that adds flavor.
Taylor will start somewhere hard.
And then when a couple of us are like,
oh, it's not that bad,
then he'll come back around.
He'll slowly but surely come back around.
If I believe it.
Think about movies.
He'll have a strong opinion on movies.
You know what?
I kind of like the movie.
You know what my problem is,
is I have the strong opinion
and then I hold it for years and years and years,
as opposed to revisiting to re-evaluate the opinion.
So you guys have caught on the Fury.
That's the one I go to all the time.
Like, saw it for whatever reason,
whatever Headspace it was in, did not like it.
Fury's ass.
You guys tell me I'm ass.
I go watch.
movie the movie's no longer ass
I love you man is next
what's that I love you man yeah I need to get that
a try because when I think about love a man I just feel
uncomfortable I didn't love that movie
I didn't like it at all I love you man
no I love saying that
every time I get off the phone will I we hang up
love you love you too I love you man
it's right up the alley of the Josh Allen interview
then I'm sure
I would be watching me like if I didn't know dick jokes
you're gonna you all understand I love you man
yeah yeah for
real uh shirms just put up a fun factor taste buds change every seven years and you're right maybe i'm
not a fan of blue cheese but where i was on blue cheese it's completely i like yeah you said on the
same aisle as me with blue cheese we're like you can't i don't want it in my house i don't want it around
yeah now it's like if somebody who has blue cheese jack and i when we go to vegas he gets this
fucking cop salad and they just scatter that moldy cheese everywhere it would make me internally gag
do blue cheese crumbles are so fired i see i'm going to give that a try
Are you a fan of blue cheese olives?
Yeah, like blue cheese stuffed olives.
Yeah, I like this.
Charles loves those.
I used to hate olives, but I've kind of started to come around on olives.
It goes on olives.
I wasn't an olive guy either.
And now I'm an olive guy.
Yeah, you got to try it.
Got to just try it.
Yeah.
Yeah.
One's the last time I had an olive.
For those reasons, I am out.
Like in a salad recently.
Okay.
Yeah, it just never hits for me.
Black olives for me.
It started to change for me around probably like 30.
three years old.
Yeah.
It's about to be three years ago.
Tough.
It's about to be three years ago.
Tough.
Birthday boy.

for one of the more prestigious rivalry games in all of college sports,
and that is Nebraska versus Michigan.
The most prestigious trophy game in all of college football.
One of the most prestigious rivalries in all of sports.
We've got to build it.
We have to win a game for it to even become something.
And you guys will someday.
Someday.
I don't know if it's this year, but someday.
I'm excited.
The season for both of y'all hangs on that game.
I agree.
I disagree.
Now, I will say a little bit of a little bit of the 10th.
temperature on Michigan, I think will be figured out with Oklahoma.
Yeah.
See, I would go to Oklahoma first.
That's a tone setter for the rest of the year.
But you're right, because we will be three and no facing Michigan.
For us, our season does hang on that.
What happened to week one?
We're focused on week one.
We're going to be three and oh.
We're living in September 19th, 20th right now.
We're living in that space.
Listen, I'm all ball.
I'm all ready for Cincinnati.
We got a hell of a punter.
I'm excited for what he's going to do this year.
I did see Rules Press conference on that punter.
He's not.
about Raola like that.
This guy can kick him with both legs.
I used to go hang out of the offensive line.
Yeah, I'm excited.
What's this cat going to do next?
All the players love him.
Yeah.
All the players of them.
Something about the Aussies, man.
You guys will see that in a couple of weeks with Jordan Milata.
Just something about a massive cunt, you know?
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
And this too, like, especially for Nebraska,
the way our special teams has performed over the last several years,
games are winning and lost on fourth down now.
You got a good punter.
Yeah.
Place it in the right spots.
Teams covering.
I think...
Had Coach Eccler to the staff.
Coming out of Tennessee,
number one special teams unit in the country
with just freshmen and walk-ons.
Now he's got the whole slate.
Over 40 guys that can run 20 plus on the squad right now.
Listen, there's a lot to be excited about Lincoln, Nebraska.
A lot to be excited about Lincoln, Nebraska.
I do feel like football is slowly getting away from the punt.
Slowly, like, moving away.
You see a lot of people go for the conversion, even as far as fourth and three last year.
You watched it in, what was the game?
It was Washington versus Detroit.
A lot of fourth downs going for on fourth down.
You see a lot of teams having more success.
You see the punter not coming out to that fourth and four plus a little bit more.
Not Nebraska.
It doesn't matter if it's fourth and inches, dude.
They're going to punt that thing.
They're going to punt the fuck out of it.
Get it out there.
Pin him deep.
Play position football.
That's the photo right there.
So you got a guy that nukes 70-yard.
field goals now.
Dude, yeah, how crazy was that?
That was crazy.
And then they're talking like,
this isn't the last one you'll see.
They had 10 more on it.
Dude, I'm wondering what.
That was a monster.
It did not just squeak over it.
Like he had more.
It wasn't wind either.
70 yard bomb, dude.
Bomb.
I wonder what the max is on the human leg.
I don't know if there is one, man.
I guess I could just go out and dry.
Yeah.
You probably got it.
Travis Hunter played both ways in the game.
Played both ways.
nice while he had 11 snaps on offense put it the second team on defense two catches nine yards yeah
great work out there are you concerned at all about him not being on the first team for defense
no same no onward like that's a process that's gonna take a little bit of time let him do is let him do

Hey, it's us, the Jonas brothers.
And guess what?
We have some big news.
What's the news, name?
Huge news.
We created our own podcast called, Hey, Jonas.
We invented a podcast?
Well, we didn't invent it.
We just contributed to it.
We're the first people to do podcasts.
Pretty, yeah, pretty wide range of podcasts throughout there.
But this one's extra special.
special. So how did we actually come up with a name Hey Jonas, guys?
I honestly don't remember. I think it was on a call about what we should call it.
Well, we were thinking I'm originally calling it one of the early names of our band before Jonas Brothers.
This is how you guys remember it going down?
Yes. I have a very different memory of this. We were talking about a thing, a bit for the podcast,

How about Gino Smith running out of the tunnel in Seattle?
Middle fingers.
Him and Max?
And Max, he just right behind it.
Yeah.
Yes.
Pete Carroll, you see his press conference about it?
Yeah.
He goes, yeah, I saw.
Did you see what it said?
All right.
Next question.
Next question.
Because it was a disrespectful last thing to say.
Raiders?
I love the Raiders.
Yes.
When we got middle fingers in the year.
I love the Raiders.
I love the Raiders.
I love the Raiders when we got middle fingers in the air.
Yeah.
They're just buying into who they truly should be.
Yeah.
You need some salt dogs, dude.
Some salt dogs out there.
Like Max Crosby doing every post game, whatever interview with a shirt off.
And then when you watch it first show, is he wearing a shirt?
Is he wearing a shirt?
Is he not wearing a shirt?
But then you realize it's just tattoos on his body.
Yeah.
That's what we need for the Raiders.
Your leadership needs to be a overly tatted white guy with fat chains, smoke cigars,
and doesn't wear a shirt unless he has to.
That's what you want.
And everyone that talks about him says he's a psycho.
Psycho.
And the work ethic can't beat it.
This guy work ethic is like A, B, before A, before, you know, it went the other way.
It went the other way.
Trying to think of who was the guy that hit him.
Bontes perfect.
That's his name.
But yeah, he got that crazy work ethic.
A lot of things to expect out of the Raiders this year.
I think clean two in the division.
Clean two.
Raiders?
I think so.
Oh, no.
The whole lot of my sink.
Buddy, we got to do.
vision in the
I do have them over the Broncos
but the charges
think it's taking a massive step.
You got them over the Broncos?
I think Broncos take
possibly fourth.
No way.
If the Raiders play the way
the Raiders should,
because the Raiders have the tools.
They have what they need.
They have a great head coach.
They have a savvy OC and Chip Kelly.
They have Gino Smith
because when you see the vlog,
you'll see the stats.
The guy's actually pretty elite
at his stuff.
You had a great tight end core.
You had a running back.
You take third overall,
fourth overall,
whichever it is,
who's a generational talent.
you have a lot to be excited about.
Now, I understand the Bo Nick, Sean Payton,
the taking the step, the ultimate professional.
Even the chargers, too.
That's what I'm saying is.
I think the charges,
I think the AFC West is the big 10 of the NFL.
It's going to be knock them down, drag them out.
You've got the chargers and the Raiders
who are going to try to force the ball down your throat.
Then you have the pseudo not being disrespectful,
just the lack of a better word,
pretty boys of Kansas City,
where they're going to get the short yard situations,
still throw it,
still dished out because they have an elite talent at Patrick Mahomes.
Justin Herbert takes the next step he needs a take.
I could see them being second, possibly beating out the Chiefs.
But I can see the Raiders over the Broncos.
It's not a crazy take.
It's just kind of how when I'm looking at the AFC West, I'm feeling at my brain.
That's what I'm looking at.
Broncos are nice, man.
Broncos are nice.
And I am definitely taking away from how much they have going for them.
But I just look at the chargers and the Raiders.
and I just get the vibe that
I think Gino Smith
is an incredibly underrated quarterback
I think Pete Carroll
is such an elite coach
to be at his age
and to coach with the enthusiasm
he does,
he's got guys in the building
that want to be.
Harball is a proven method
that works.
He's got so much talent
in that roster.
They're just going to get better.
They just continue to do that
and the chiefs are the chiefs.
So I just like,
I think all teams are great.
I just,
who's going to be the bottom of the barrel?
Yeah.
Do they have the best coaches
in that division?
that's a good question
and I think that would take a little more time
to break down
Andy yeah
Sean Payton Andy Reed
Jim Harbaugh and fucking
Pete Carroll
Yeah 100%
They're gonna break down much more than that do you
It's like what
That's like five six or seven Super Bowls
Between the four of them
Something like that
Yeah
It's gonna be a fun year
And I would love nothing more
than the silver and black to rise
I just I feel like that division's gonna be a lot of fun
I think all the teams are going to be good
Yeah.
But somebody's got to go what's...
Someone's that go three and nine?
Yes.
Someone's got to do it.
Why not us?
Yeah, why not us?
Why not us?
And the only quarterback to play better than Joe Burrow?
Tanner McKee.
In that game, because Joe Burrow, clinical,
nine for 10, 123, two touchdowns.
Tanner McKee.
20 of 25.
Sleeper.
Sitting around, talking amongst being in Philly,
everything else.
Tanner McKee is a starter in the NFL.
Tanner McKee might be the best kept secret in the NFL.
Yeah.
They've worked their ass off to keep them a secret too
because from what things that we heard,
it was Saints tried to throw the kitchen sink at him.
Allegedly.
Allegedly.
Allegedly.
Allegedly.
Allegedly.
Allegedly.
Yeah.
The kids got some juice.
You see him operate at practice, just having fun, work on his cracks,
slinging it.
Yes, dude.
Yeah.
And then when he goes out there in balls in the preseason game,
got everybody talking about it.
Philly knows about this kid, but he is.
It's like, uh, who knows where he's,
real be. Because again, you got Jalen Hertz, but it does seem like Tanner McKee is a cat who could be a
starter in the NFL. Yeah. I do, I want to get to Sorenx real quick because I know our guest is coming
very soon. That'll be on the show at a later date. But Sorenx has come in. You guys have seen it

Whatever the fucking time is.
We got it.
We got enough time to make improvements going into 2026 where it's not even a question mark.
Just get after it, fellas.
Hey, the boys, those who sweat together, stay together.
Stay together.
What we need to do.
Those who sweat together stay together.
What we need to do as we did the Super Bowl with Jason Kelsey and Burton them is we need to,
let's just set the tone.
Company-wide 135 test.
We'll do reps.
I would personally love to get our guests that come in,
hopefully the guest that's coming on very soon,
on the board as well.
And just keep track.
Keep track of where everyone's at.
Not a competition to see who's the best.
It's a competition to see who grows the most.
How much better are you against your former self?
That's what we're going to find out.
That's what Sorinix gives us the availability to do.
And also they say, just fucking regular Sorinix,
if they customizes this shit.
Customized it.
We got dumbbed.
We've got a team colors in there.
From 5 to 125.
Are you kidding me?
Now we got to keep it clean.
Keep it clean, which, yes, brings me to the next thing.
Mitch and I had a conversation.
Mitch was one of the first days to break in the way room after it got done.
We all knew it was probably going to happen.
Gets here at 8 o'clock, gets after it.
I come into the shop and I see a couple dumbbells sitting around.
This is not an indictment on Mitch's character.
This is just the conversation that took place.
I said, if we want to be great, let's make sure we keep the weight room exactly the way it is.
We walked over.
I said, you see the way it looks right now?
Let's leave it just like that
We've had a lot of conversations
Everyone's heard me talk about that
I leave shit everywhere too
I'm not saying I'm exempt from these things
I threw away your trash this morning
But let's take away
Let's take the next step
Let's take the next step as a unit
I come in the weight room
This morning
Around 815
And I look over
And the
What is the they call it the Franken
Frankenstein hyper
Yeah Franken Hyper
And there's two 25s on there
First person I walked up to
walks up to Mitch say you were used the way room this morning I was like yeah I was like did
did you put the weights away no I did I put him away I was like what was this he's like that wasn't me
I think that was will all good but also let's set the tone we have a small conversation right before
this podcast I love will to have an opportunity to speak on this yeah so the reason I had 25 sitting on
the reverse hyper is I feel like you have to have a a foundation on the reverse hyper because
nobody's going to use it when it or nobody's going to ever use it with
without plates on it, like coming from the Dobson school.
When we were working out of Vandy,
there were always 45 pound plates.
You had a foundation of plates on certain racks.
And the reverse hyper, he always had 45 pounds on it.
So people could just get on, they could do their thing.
Myself, my little back can't handle the 45s just yet.
However, I thought 25s on there would be good.
So it's like the 25s that would sit on there.
I walked over, I moved the three,
because I took two off the left side.
So I walked over to the right side,
grabbed the second one to even it up,
two on each side like on the main rack and then I was thinking that we just always have 25 pound
plates sitting on the reverse hyper so if you want to get a set get that low back going you know
after we get up off this podcast and you've been sitting in flexion the whole time you go and hit
a set of reverse hyper and you already got the 25 sitting on there so you never have to move it all
you do is add to it if you're trying to get trying to get better but when you strip it you don't
strip it bare you just strip it down to the 25s so your feeling is that the way the way room sits
right now with the 25s on the reverse hyper
is how it should be 24-7 when you leave.
Yes. Yes.
Does anybody have a problem with that?
Just we just got to make sure everybody can do the 25.
We just got to make sure, yes.
Make sure everyone can do the 25.
But to argue, like, you can't do the 25.
It's like, I'm not going to set tens on there and pretend like that's going to be the base.
Everybody will be able to do 25s.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Everybody be able to do 25.
All right.
So let's keep it at 25.
We feel good.
Okay.
As it sits.
And if there's any changes, it has to be agreed upon by anybody.
Has to be agreed upon.
Because I did.
I pulled.
at my phone and last Friday at 3 10 p.m. I took a photo of the Frankenhyper whatever.
Which you showed me. Yeah, I meant to drop it in the group chat. Be like, hey, here's a thought,
like just having 25s on because I knew when I was doing it, I was like, this is going to be,
I bet this pops up. I bet this comes up. Yeah. We got here. Oh, thank you.
Yes, it arrived. Perfect. Our guest just arrived. Everybody enjoy the content from the Buffalo
Bill's training camp out of Rochester. We sit with Brandon Bean. We sit with Josh Allen. You'll listen to Mr. Bean
Before Josh Allen, that kind of says it's tone for Josh Allen,
because I'm telling you, we sit around,
we just try to give dick jokes with Josh Allen.
It was a great time.
We had a blast, and there's a little tidbit in there
that if the Buffalo Bills win the Super Bowl this year...
Don't tell them.
I'll have to watch and find out.
If the Buffalo Bill is win the Super Bowl this year, that's good.
That's good.
That's good.
You guys will enjoy it.
Have fun.

What we needed will we had to have.
was liquid IV.

Thank you so much for being with us.
Yeah.
This is awesome.
You guys have treated us amazing.
A walk on the field,
you guys make us feel like we've been a part of the franchise for a long time,
and that's really special,
so we appreciate that.
We just had the,
someone call it displeasure of interviewing Josh Allen.
And it was basically 25 minutes of us just trying to get each other with dick jokes.
I'm sure everybody watching the show is like,
what are we doing here?
They're just sitting there in silence.
Yeah.
And so I guess it's like,
yeah,
you've obviously paid him a lot of money.
You've agreed to a lot of things.
You've drafted him all the things.
how many times has he gotten you with a dick joke oh he he got me early on um you know
Brian you know Brian Dable I think you know I'm sure it was already in Josh but once he knew
his coach was was fueling at the time he just took off and you know you anytime he was around
you became guarded it was hard to have a serious conversation because I'm like you know
I know there's a punchline here like yeah and you just walk into it what's hysterical is when
you see him getting someone else
you know it's coming.
You just watch him setting up his own softball to knock it out of the park.
But he's, that's what we love about him.
He never changes, but it's hard sometimes when you don't know where he's coming from
because you're just like, and when he's like, I swear, I swear, I'm not, I'm like, dude,
you're the boy that cried the wolf right now.
Yeah, exactly.
Dave almost said he must have passed a torch to Joe Brady because Joe was prepping us before.
He's like, you got to get Josh on a dig joke because I'm telling you, he's coming for you.
He's coming for you.
he's always setting it up everything he's got an angle and sometimes he's got a partner on the angle
and joe's loves that stuff joe's got a lot of the same shenanigans that day well i think that's why
they mesh so well even as we were walking off i was like he's he hit us again with you got to get him
and i was like no i haven't i was like oh my god he's been got but it's uh it's a it's a rarity
i don't even remember how it's happened yeah anytime that ever happens you guys need to
put it out in the local newspaper and let it take because that'll be the big a
hard knocks at some point that way it's it's framed it's filmed that should be the only all
production of hard knocks needs to look and be like the only thing we need to do is get josh on
with a dick joke before this whole production is we got a month we got a month yeah we got one
month to get this yeah one whole month how has the process been with hard knocks yeah it's been it's been
good you know uh candidly you know you're always going like man i don't i don't want those cameras around
like you just you feel guarded or what is it like because you've seen other teams go through it
you've seen situations where you're like, ooh, I don't know if I'd want that on camera.
But the crew here has been great.
We met with them in probably early June, kind of talk through our culture, our team,
what's important to us in this.
And let's make this a win for you.
Obviously, they have a job to do to put on a good show.
And, you know, there's part of us that's like, hey, we're proud of our organization.
We're proud of our culture.
We don't want to give away anything competitive.
But at the same time, let's show people a little bit behind the curtains.
you know, where we're comfortable.
There's obviously going to be a line where you just,
you can't totally have everything unfiltered,
whether it's meetings in my office, meetings in Sean's office,
or just certain conversations with players.
But we're trying to peel that back.
Obviously, episode one just went last night.
And, you know, we got four more weeks.
So hopefully it's a win-win at the end, a win for us and a win for them.
I love it for the fans, too.
They just get the inside look.
Just being a fan on the outside, like when you're growing up
and Hard Knocks comes on, the music, the voice, everything about it.
And the fact that they're doing it with you guys,
I feel like Bill's Mafia just eats it up.
Yeah. It's a hell of a production, how they do it.
And like you said, it's if we all work together,
it can be great for the fans.
And obviously our fans, they eat everything up.
They follow us.
You guys have played against us down in Nashville.
They showed up.
They show up.
They show up down there.
Nashville's a bad example.
Everybody shows up in Nashville.
But yes, Bill's fans do show up like crazy.
That's honestly, that's what's so cool about our fan base.
So many places we show,
We play in Miami every year, and there's a ton there.
It's just, it almost, you know, you know at home your place is going to be behind you,
but it's like when you walk out, you're expecting to walk into the ring like Rocky,
you know, fighting Drago in Russia.
And you're like, holy cow, there's people that are actually cheering for me.
It kind of is that, you know, it's that extra motivation, I guess you feel like,
and these people traveled here to come support us and they're making a lot of noise for us.
It's got the most college feel of all time.
When you're like pulling up to a game, it's a night game, Sunday night football, whatever it is, and you get there, whatever, three, four o'clock, and you see those fans going crazy?
Have you ever felt the urge to go get sprayed with some mustard or hit a table or something like that?
One time, I would love to, but it probably wouldn't.
Well, we win the Super Bowl.
I'm in there.
I'll do it.
Like I said.
You'll let him put you through a table?
Oh, dude.
Put it through a table, spray with mustard.
If we win the Super Bowl, I'm probably getting fired because I'm going to do some.
crazy shit.
I love the year.
At the parade, it's like the table's got to be set up.
Bing goes through the table.
Yeah, you've got to be doing a speech and then when the speech is over, take out a
couple of them boys.
I'm in.
I expect y'all there though.
We'll set it up.
Yeah, I expect you all there.
We'll be right there.
We'll be right there.
That would be awesome.
We've been a part of this franchise for years.
This place.
Having a GM on, I want to ask like, how do you get into, how does one grow up and
want to be a GM?
Like, I want to say, who is the GM we had on?
Howie.
No, not Howie for the, uh, ran, Ran Carthog with the Titans.
And he talked about like he was obsessed with magazines as he was growing up.
Like when did you know like I want to go the path to become a GM of a national football team?
Yeah, it's funny.
Honestly, I just wanted to find a way to get in and help the team.
Like I played sports through high school.
Unfortunately, didn't work out.
And, you know, after that.
And so when I was in college, I was originally going to be, I was like,
I loved who my high school football coach was and what he meant to me.
And I was like, man, I'm going to go be a high school football coach, run my own program.
Maybe I'm good enough.
Maybe some small college will want me.
But started kind of having, you know, bigger aspirations and tried to work my way in the NFL.
I got lucky to start as an intern with the Panthers.
But honestly, the first five, six years there, I'm just trying to show that I got value.
How can I help, whether it's pick somebody up the airport, you know, make coffee.
Like whatever it is, like, you know, anything that it took to help us win, you just feel that team pride.
And that's kind of what I wanted.
But I worked for a man in Marty Herney who just was constantly giving me more and teaching me.
And, you know, five, six years in, I'm starting to get promoted and work my way up the ranks.
At that point, you know, I started really asking him a lot of questions, not necessarily on the spot,
but just when it was convenient for him and learning some of the, you know, the path that he took and some of the obstacles he faced.
and what I needed to do to prepare myself.
But at the same time, I also told myself, like, there's 32 of these.
The odds of that, like, I'm not going to be crushed if it doesn't happen.
And that's why I try to tell people that I talk to, like, hey, like, definitely shoot for the moon.
Like, but don't feel like you didn't make it.
You know, I caught many breaks, right place, right time, just work your, work your ass off,
be where you're supposed to be, treat people the right way.
And I think the sky's the limit if you're willing to do it.
chase this for the money either you when you're working up through the ranks and you're trying to go
the path that you've eventually made it to at one point you have to become the grim reaper yeah and a lot of
people don't know grim reaper is a guy it's one of the lowest guys in the totem pole and the scouting
department who has to sit outside the locker room and as guys are going to meetings they're the ones
that says hey cut day coach wants to see you bring your playbook or the GM wants to see you what was that
first experience like for you having to tell a grown man hear your dreams over dude it's uh
it's brutal.
I mean, I can remember the days of having to be that guy.
You walk through the locker room and the guys are kind of looking at you like, oh, shit, here comes being.
They're all peppering you, the vets who know they're safe are kind of giving you a hard time.
Oh, yeah.
Oh, yeah.
Bing, get out of here.
You know, they're constantly doing that.
But I tell you, the wackiest thing in 2010, the league was about to go through the lockout.
And so our staff had, you know, our owner at the time had made a decision that because we're going to lockout, no new hires for the organization.
while our player engagement director left.
So we're in the process of needing one.
He was like, we're in the lockout.
You're in charge of this.
So for a year, party Ernie told me
I had to be the player engagement director.
And I was still having to get people to cut them.
I'm like, man, I'm supposed to be supporting these guys.
And I'm also cut them.
Like, it was an awkward deal.
It was one of the weirdest times of my life.
But it's a good experience.
I learned a lot.
But at the same time, I was like, this is, this is weird.
Yeah, having a heart to heart with them one day.
And then the next day, you're like,
Remember that conversation?
Hey, bring your playbook.
You know, I told you to keep working.
Like, I think you're in a good spot.
It's got a call.
It ain't good.
You're not good, no.
It works over.
It's done.
Not naming any players, but what's been your, like, scariest or most vulnerable
time where you've had to cut somebody and it didn't go the way you thought it would?
It wasn't scary.
You know, I would say when we moved on from Shady McCoy here,
he was not thrilled, let's just say that.
It was the shortest cut meeting that I ever had.
He just, he wasn't really interested in talking about it.
And he gave me a few nice words and said he's out.
And, you know, at the end of the day, I still respect Shady for what he, you know, for his career and loved him.
And I knew it was an emotional moment for him.
And so I understood all that.
And, you know, I even reached out to him after.
You know, it is what it is, but that was, it was an interesting one.
Yeah.
It's got to be so tough.
I mean, the guys that come in and, I mean, are rookies, and they're kind of like,
they kind of know, have an idea.
Yeah.
But the guys that have played for a franchise help, like bring back a franchise.
Those got to be the hardest ones.
Yeah.
No, it's, I mean, we went through that last year, last off season.
You know, we moved on, you know, from about five or six captains from our team before
that really kind of helped us, you know, Sean and I got here in 2017.
This team had not been in the playoffs since 17 straight seasons.
And we were kind of, you know, we needed this culture shift.
We needed this new dynamic.
And so the Jordan Porter's, the Micahides, the Mitch Moore, like so many of these guys
were with us to help us build this team and build this culture.
But the business starts to get in the way, whether you can't re-sign them, whether you've
got to ask for pay cuts that don't work out or you've got to move on.
And those were very tough because, you know, you're going to.
You don't want to say goodbye, but you also have to start, you know,
planning for the next iteration of this Buffalo Bills team.
And it's kind of like Josh was younger than all those guys.
Yeah.
He still was kind of ascending into that leadership role.
And now he's, you know, the elder statesman of all the captains.
How is it?
I lost my trying to thought.
Go ahead, well.
How, yeah, how difficult is that knowing like, you know, the business, the cap space,
all that becomes involved.
and you're having to have a conversation with these players who have been like help build the cloth of what you guys are,
whereas you're trying to navigate the value they bring tangibly and intangibly into a locker room
and then also weighing it with the costs of doing business.
I'm sure that those are just, those are probably tough conversations.
Like how are you, I guess, going about that in your mind when you're in the war room or you're breaking down the strategy of it all to make those types of hard decisions?
Yeah, I mean, there's some sleepless nights going through that.
You see what's coming down the pipe and you're constantly looking at the cap and you're seeing where their numbers are.
You're also looking at some of the guys that are coming up for extensions, which we did a lot of extensions here this offseason.
So there's constant preparation and you dread those conversations.
They are painful because, you know, in some ways I do myself a disservice.
I try to, you know, get to know these guys as people, not just as players for this team, but who their families are.
you know, Buffalo is a tight area.
Our wives do a lot of things, wives, girlfriends,
and it's a big support network and you want to be there because, as you guys know,
you've been in a locker room, life happens to a lot of people and a lot of different facets.
And the best way to get through adversity is to surround yourself with people you care about.
And they kind of help, you know, we all help each other through the tough times.
And so that's hard.
You know, at the same time, I know that Terry Bagula has hired me to make the best business decisions for the Buffalo.
low bills. So you try your best to remove your heart as hard as that is and just try and think,
you know, with your brain of how we're going to do this, how you're going to navigate the cap,
the cash, and, you know, the ascending players versus the guys that are starting to descend and
just making sure, you know, you've thought it through. Those are some of the longest thought
out decisions that you make, knowing, you know, that it's going to pull on your heartstrings.

Hey it's the Jonas brothers and guess what we have some big news
What's the news?
Huge news.
We created our own podcast called Hey Jonas.
We invented a podcast?
Well, we didn't invent it.
We just contributed to our...
We're the first people to do podcasts.
Pretty, yeah, pretty wide range of podcasts throughout there.
But this one's extra special.
So how do we actually come up with a name Hey Jonas, guys?
I honestly don't remember.
I think it was on a call about what we should call it.
Well, we were thinking I'm originally calling it one of the early names of our band.
Before Jonas Brothers.
This is how you guys remember it going down?
Yes.
I have a very different memory of this.
We were talking about a thing, a bit for the podcast,
where people could call in and say, hey, Jonas.
And then I wrote down on my little notepad, Hey Jonas,
and offered it up as a potential title for the podcast.
But thanks for remembering that, guys.

When we were on the field talking earlier, you were giving a lot of praise to the leadership
of your team when the DeMar Hamlin situation happened.
I'd love for you to have an opportunity to speak on it and talk about how the team rallied.
It was obviously scary for not only the bills, but for the intent.
NFL to see something like that happen on live TV.
But just talk about the team, how they rallied around, how just the effects of being in the
locker room, you know, right after that as well.
Yeah.
Families, the city.
I mean, you're really not a GM at that point anymore for that next week.
Yeah.
And as like a player, like, I've never been on the field with something scary.
But like, like, I've been on the field where a guy, you know, his legs facing the wrong way
or arms facing the wrong way.
And it really like, it kind of snaps you out of, oh shit, like this, a lot of things can
happen while I'm on this field.
not just playing a game.
And I can't imagine how those guys were reacting and handling all those things.
So maybe just a little insight to that would be awesome.
Yeah, I mean, as you guys know, you guys played a gladiator sport.
And you have to get yourself into that gladiator mode when you enter the ring.
And all these guys in that moment were in that.
And then you're exactly right.
You're all snapped out of it.
And it just, you know, the fear of someone's life is hanging in the balance.
And you're like, man, that's not something.
than you ever expect any day,
much less when we woke up that morning,
that never even crossed your mind.
And you're like, man, this is a brother of ours
and we're gonna put our arms around him.
And yet we went after, you know,
he got in that ambulance and went off
and we prayed as a team.
We got up and there's all sorts of emotions.
You know, there's tears, there's fear,
there's unknown, there's a lot of things.
And it was a tough moment for the league.
The Bengals were a men.
amazing. Like, you know, this was a big game. It was fighting for the one seat at the time. There's one week left. This isn't a preseason game or week three. This is like week 16, week 17. And a lot was riding on this game. It's national TV. And I thought the Bengals and Zach Taylor and that crew did a great job. You know, we grabbed our leaders together, Sean, myself. And our guys were, you know, and we were the same way. We're saying, how can we go back out there? We don't know that whether tomorrow is going to make it or not.
not. And so at that point, we just kind of pray. We sent a group of us over to the hospital to
support his family. And we worked on getting our guys, you know, back to Buffalo. And we lined up
counselors the next day. Like football was secondary. And even though we had a game to play,
I don't think we practiced, but about a day or a day and a half that Thursday, Friday was all
about the guys just wanted to know how DeMar was doing and what he was doing. And there's no playbook for
it. You just do your best.
and support everyone and there's no wrong answer.
There's no wrong question.
There's no wrong emotion.
What is a decision that you've made where you second-guessed where it's turned out to be right?
And then where you second-guessed did the decision and you're like, ah, I wish I could have that one back.
Yeah, I mean, I don't know, Will there's a lot of my second-guess myself all the time.
Yeah, I mean, listen, anytime you're, I would say for the most part, it's when you're in the draft.
Like the draft is moving like that.
And, you know, I don't want to say names, but there's definitely times you're up, you know, you're down to two players.
And, you know, sometimes you've got to go with your gut.
You've done all the work.
You've heard the coaches out.
You've heard the scouts.
Scouts been following these guys for sometimes two, two and a half years.
And we've gone through it.
We've met with them.
We've researched them.
And now you get on the clock and you try to do as many scenarios as you can,
especially the first couple rounds.
But it can even be in the third, fourth round.
You're just down to two guys and the room is torn.
And sometimes you've got to go with your gut.
And you definitely follow those out.
You know, and sometimes you're smiling.
Sometimes you're like, damn.
You know, I went wrong on that one.
That's part of it.
You're never going to about a thousand.
And again, I just don't want to throw it.
by his name.
Yeah, yeah, fair enough.
We were talking with Howie, and the one that got away for him was Justin Jefferson.
Is there one you look back and you're like, fuck?
Yeah.
Could have had that one.
Could have had.
I mean, God, there's not.
Try to keep the mic.
Try to keep the mic close to your business.
There's not one that I can think of from that standpoint, but there's definitely
been plenty.
I mean, there's guys in free agency that you feel like you have them ready to go or
there's, you know, trades that you.
you're almost willing to do.
I mean, I remember the year before we signed Vaughn,
we were heavily discussing that with Denver.
Denver trades them to the Rams.
And, you know, we're trying to work through our,
through what we could afford and, you know,
what we're willing to give.
And ultimately, Denver decided to move them.
I think, you know, just AFC to NFC versus to another AFC contender.
But, you know, Vaughn was playing really good down the stretch.
And, you know, we had a, you know,
that was the year we lost at the end of Kansas City.
We just lost an overtime, couldn't get a stop.
And so that one, you're like, man, if that had worked out, could that have been the difference?
You know, it's not in the moment, but once your season's over, you kind of look back at.
Yeah, you get that 30,000 foot view and you're like, okay, where could the piece have been?
Yeah.
That got us over the hump.
No doubt.
And that's ultimately after that season, we definitely decided, hey, we've got to be able to get the Mahomes, the Lamar's, the Burroughs, you know, the AFC's loaded.
we got to be able to get these guys down, and we did go out and get Vaughn at that point.
But, you know, unfortunately, the next year he was rolling.
He pops his ACL in Detroit, but, you know, it was what it was.
Yeah.
With another side of the coin, like the best move, if you look at your room of all the moves you've made as a GM,
and you're looking at this trophy case, what would be like the number one move you think you've made as a GM in your life?
Oh, it's Josh.
I mean, just, you know, that year we, we.
We made the playoffs in 17.
Tyrod was our quarterback, and we got in.
I think we were like 9 and 7,
and we played Jacksonville really good in the first round,
and Jacksonville ended up in the AFC Championship,
I believe, against New England.
But that was kind of the start of building this culture.
We did not have a team that could make a run.
We were, I mean, Sean and the staff,
they got everything out of that team and then some.
But we knew we needed to go find a franchise quarterback,
and we were, you know, it's easier if we,
We had lost that year, but we also, we didn't want to lose.
We wanted to win to reset a foundation.
And at the same time, that makes it tougher to get, I think we were picked 21 to get up to be able to get a, you know, a Josh Allen or one of the quarterbacks in that 18 draft.
So we traded an offensive tackle to get with Sensi to get to 12.
And then on draft day moved to seven with Tampa to get Josh.
So that, you know, he's clearly the franchise quarterback that we needed.
You know, if you look at the successful teams and the teams that are steady, this team had not, you know, one of the big reasons this team did not make the playoffs was they never were able to settle on a quarterback from, you know, since Jim Kelly left, you know, all those years, I made four straight Super Bowls.
They won with that crew.
They had continuity with a franchise quarterback.
And that's one of the conversations I had with the Begoules when we were hired.
we have to put our heads together and do our jobs and find that piece.
So we did what it took.
We traded up and got him.
And, you know, I'm not sure we can make a better decision going forward.
Was it so clearly, Josh, to where you're making these trades and sending off a tackle
and giving up some sort of draft equity for to move up even farther in the draft that night?
Were there doubts?
There's people in there going, are we sure this is the guy?
We're sure we want to give up this much?
Because at the point, we're talking about a kid from Wyoming who ran like a robot
on his 40-yard dash.
Yeah, we weren't.
Did you bust his balls about that?
No, no, I didn't.
But as you're talking about it,
he'll get Josh back here.
This is our guy.
I'm thinking about him running that 40 the way he did.
I was like,
we should have fucking done.
It was a goofy-ass run.
Goofy-ass run.
Yeah, it was.
Still good time.
It looked like Forrest Gump running.
Yeah, he really did.
Because you're trying to move up that much, too.
It's got to be a very methodical game of trying to position yourself
with the goal being Josh Allen.
Yeah.
No, we,
we did a lot of work on all those guys.
It was a quarterback-loaded draft,
which we were excited.
about. And we were swinging for the fences. I mean, I was having conversations all the way up
to pick one and two and three and four, but couldn't make anything land. We had something set with
Denver at five that fell through. They ended up taking Bradley Chub. Elway was the GM and declined
at the last minute. Once he was on the clock, we had something set up. I honestly thought when
the draft started, we were going to pick Josh at five.
But fortunately, we're still able to get him at seven.
So how does it work when you're trying to trade with the Broncos?
Who was at six?
Indy.
Indy.
They took the guard.
Quentin Nelson?
Quentin Nelson?
So you're looking at Broncos?
Broncos doesn't work out.
And you're like, okay, Indy doesn't need a quarterback.
Well, I tried to trade with Indy.
They were set.
They were sitting at seven.
And then Tampa was at seven.
Tampa was at seven.
Tampa.
Yeah.
So Joe Shane, who's now the GM and the Giants, he initially made the call to
Tampa and then once they got on the clock Jason Light who's still there Jason does a great job
I've known him for a number of years and we went back and forth for a minute there was a there was a
hang up once or twice no this and that and he knew we were dying and and I think I think they still
got the guy they wanted at 12 I think it was it was a win-win you know they had a quarterback at the
time James was still kind of getting his his opportunity there and yeah so it
fortunately it worked out but you know until you get your name on the clock and he's still on the
board you you don't relax i mean you're you're you're definitely filling the sweats and then and get the
cold sweats a little bit to talking about hang-ups are you a guy that hangs up on somebody or are you
getting hung up on no no it was like no deal it was like yep no we're not we're not doing that
and so you guys just sit there quietly for a second so then talk you know hang up talk about a second
and finally got him back on the phone and and and
and got it done.
It was,
it's funny.
You know,
when I see Jay's in now,
we still laugh about it
because I think I asked for like a seventh
at the very end.
I asked for him to throw in a seventh throw.
I'm like,
dude,
you're killing me.
Can you at least give me something?
Yeah,
I just need another player here to pick.
We're trying to rebuild this thing.
We need another guy to draft and he laughs.
You had to have that damn seventh round or day.
Yeah.
Who's in your mind?
Who is,
who is an underrated GM out there?
Oh,
man,
of good ones you know I think Goody and Green Bay has done a really good job you know he he was in a
tough spot with that Aaron Rogers deal moving over to Jordan Love and and it's hard because your
fans are you know really loyal you know obviously they were they had already gone through that thing
years ago before he was the GM with with it going from Brett Farr to Aaron Rogers and that was a little
bit you know tough with that fan base at time now Rogers is the guy and they've won I think they
won a Super Bowl with him.
And, you know, Jordan Love's an unproven piece the way Rogers was.
And, you know, I think there was at times where, you know, he felt like Goody was maybe
getting attacked a little bit.
But he had a plan in place and they really, you know, use those pieces and attacked what
they did.
I thought they did a really nice job of giving Jordan Love a lot of weapons.
And, you know, they've been ascending ever since.
Talks me about the combine because I feel like when you're training for the combine,
everyone's like, it's the most important interview of your life, which you absolutely.
is how and it's really good with the NFL and everything it's really turning like this big event
for four or five days what is the most important thing in the combine in your opinion and what is
something that's like it's more for show like at this point it's like you know we kind of know
how fast these guys are routes and stuff like that but what is it the most important for you as a
gym looking at a player at the combine yeah i mean the the most important thing is something i'm not
even involved with and that's the medical like we need the medical it's it's so important
when you're, especially these guys that you're talking about drafting and these, you know, first few rounds,
just the value that you're going to end up paying them.
And it's hard to, you know, you can get some really good players.
But there's guys that medically, you know, we have first round grades on that we have to either move down or take off our board just because medically where they're at.
But beyond that, to me, it's the interview.
You know, we get to interview 45 of these guys.
And then our coaches, you guys probably remember, you got all those little informal interviews that you,
you're doing. You probably hate him as a player. It's like speed dating. The train station. The train station.
But I think that's the most important. We've watched the tape. We've watched football. I don't, yes,
do I watch the workouts? Yes, but let's don't over-emphasize, you know, in t-shirt and shorts what these guys are
doing or not doing. Some guys are truly, even when we get to the spring when we're in, you know,
helmets and t-shirts, you know, you naturally start saying, oh, this guy looks great. This guy doesn't,
this guy's not doing it, but then you put the pads on, you play 11 on 11 football,
and some players rise and some fall.
So back to your original question, the combine for me is really the medical and the interviews.
The workouts are great, but at the end of the day, if I didn't have that, it wouldn't, it wouldn't break me.
Yeah.
I feel like with the running and jumping in the bench, it's like, check a box.
Like if they hit this time, we're solid.
We're solid with all these things.
Yeah, we definitely have.
some things and they're really indicators of maybe things that you've already seen or tape.
Sometimes guys will, you know, you'll go, man, this guy ran a 4-3-9.
You're watching on tape.
You're like, man, I didn't even know if this guy could run 4-5.
You know, there's track speed and there's play speed.
And then there's guys that surprise you.
They, they, their play speed looks like it's low 4-4s, but they're not great testers.
They didn't train very well and they run, you know, 4-5-0.
And, you know, I actually like it when they do that.
that gives me sometimes I feel like I get an easier chance to get them because their time's not
so good. Somebody's over evaluating that a little bit. You got to like a good bench press though.
Yeah. Honestly, especially position specific, like guys that really are going to be anchoring down
doing that. Like am I worried about a receiver's bench press? Not really, but, you know, O line,
D line, line backers, guys like that. I definitely think it matters. What's your number on the bench
press? You're like, all right, offensive linemen. Yeah, I mean, I would hope you're,
you know in the 20s if you're not you love it if they're in the 30s but if you know if you got an
offensive line that he does like 17 that's a little bit of red flag like is he that week is he not
been training like what's maybe his arms are too long yeah maybe he went to stanford me yeah yeah
have you noticed that like Stanford always has cats that do like 16 17 no I haven't ever seen that

You got energy all day long.
Form energy.
We do the work.
Back to the episode.
Hey, it's us, the Jonas Brothers.
And guess what?
We have some big news.
What's the news?
Huge news.
We created our own podcast called, Hey Jonas.
We invented a podcast?
Well, we didn't invent it.
We just contributed to a...
We're the first people to do podcasts.
Pretty, yeah, pretty wide range of podcasts throughout there.
But this one's extra special.
So how do we actually come up with a name, Hey Jonas, guys?
I honestly don't remember.
I think it was on a call about what we should call it.
And we were thinking I'm originally calling.
it one of the early names of our band before Jonas Brothers was...

The French Open is one of the toughest tests in tennis,
and I know firsthand because I competed there myself.
I'm Renee Stubbs, and on the Renee Stubbs tennis podcast,
I'm breaking down everything happening at Roland Garris.
Every match, every upset, and what it really takes to win on clay.
Genshin win.
I mean, she went down in three to Rabakina, but I'm delighted.
She's an outsider to win the French for me.
And she likes Clay.
Listen, Lina Rabakina is arguably the best player in the world right now.
and I actually can win on any surface.
Because if she's serving, well, good luck.
Consider this your court side seat to the French Open.

Hey, I'm Jared Adano.
You might know me as that loud guy who yells out, help on the internet.
Help! Somebody! Please!
But there's so much more to me than me.
I'm an actor.
I'm a comedian.
and recently I've become quite the helper myself.
And on my new podcast, Hope from a Hypocrite, I'll be changing lives,
helping people in need with my sage advice and thoughtful solutions.
Sike, I'm a comedian. I'm not qualified to give good advice.
Join me and my comedian friends as we riff rant
and recommend some of the most legally dubious advice known to man.
If I'm calling you, even if you're on your phone, let it ring twice.
one ring is too scary.
Cream of chicken suit.
Hey, cream, cream, chicken suit.
This is Help from a Hypocrat,
the worst advice from the dumbest people you know.

Pulling from your example that you were using with Goody
with the spot he was in where he was getting attacked,
but he had a plan in place.
Is there ever a situation that jogged your memory where you felt like you were being attacked
and you just knew this was going to be the right situation for Buffalo's future?
Yeah, I think there's a couple times.
I mean, Josh was when he came out, he was a polarizing subject.
I mean, exactly some of the things you said.
He was a junior college guy, went to Wyoming, and he made a lot of thrilling plays,
but he had a lot of turnovers, and, you know, people were questioning his accuracy,
and they were comparing him to two other quarterbacks that had failed,
come out and failed that were big, strong athletic arms that didn't work out.
I would say, you know, when we took him, there were guys like Josh Rosen, Lamar,
some other guys that were still available.
And, you know, I specifically remember people saying you took the wrong Josh,
you know, taking Josh Allen, you know, versus Rosen.
So, you know, that was definitely one.
I think even what I was talking about earlier last,
you're going through a transition, you're, you know, moving on from, like I said, five or six of
our captains, guys that had been there, there was definitely some question, you know, even, and then
Stefan Diggs, you know, being kind of one of the last pieces of that that we moved on.
Well, hey, you don't have a number one receiver.
You've lost all these guys.
You're putting too much on Josh's plate.
Like, who's going to make the plays on third down?
Who's your red zone, you know, kind of target?
Gabe Davis had left for free agency as well.
So it was definitely a year of transition.
position with some of our captains last year.
And, you know, fortunately, you know, we didn't win the trophy, but it worked out.
We had, you know, we won the division and made a run to the championship game.
Unfortunately, it came up, you know, a few points short.
Yeah.
With every player in the NFL, if you could take one guy from any team and put him on the Buffalo
Bills, who would that one guy be?
One player on any team?
One player on any team.
You have them.
Dude, you're going to get me for tampering.
Would that be tampering?
That would probably be tampered.
Let's hypothetically say remove the rules.
Remove the politics.
There's no rules.
And you're not worried about roster, guys getting upset, nothing like that.
It's like you look at the talent out there.
You can pick one guy.
You don't have to give him, we say his name, but we'll give him a different name so we're not tampering.
Yeah.
Maybe he's a pass rusher for another team three hours away.
and he got paid about 40 million this year.
Gotcha.
Three hours away.
I'm kind of not good with where I asked.
Where did LeBron James play basketball?
Oh, yeah.
Yeah.
Old gray shorts.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Oh, Johnny Gray.
Hypothetically.
Mr. Pipe.
Hypothetically, that's a pretty talented player.
You have a quarterback and you want to protect your guy, you know,
you want guys like you to be able to protect them,
which we have, and Dion and Spencer,
and then you want as many guys to get after, you know, the Lamar's, the, like I said, the burrows, the Mahomes and such.
Yeah, that guy, we're hypothetically speaking of, is an action figure.
He is just, he is.
He's a genetic freak.
He's like, if aliens came down and you're like, give us one to represent the NFL, like, him.
Show him to them.
First off the bus.
First off the bus type of guy.
You Bob Spence, dude, I feel like he's one of the more underrated tackles in the entire NFL.
His body of work is great.
He's like, you correct me if I'm wrong,
but he seems like a guy that's going to be quiet,
not going to get a whole lot of penalties.
He's going to do his job day in and day out,
which is exactly what you want from a tackle,
but he doesn't get like the national recognition
that like Dion Dawkins more does.
I think Dion's fantastic too.
I'm not taking anything away from him.
But speak about Spence a little bit
because I feel like he really,
I think he fell out of the first round, right?
Yeah, we got him in the third.
Yeah.
Went to the third and he's just been,
it seems like it lights out.
Played in Northern Iowa.
I think we got lucky it was a COVID year
and so their season was canceled.
He went out and worked with Joe Staley
kind of a whole year and so we were able to see
some of the film from that.
It's a projection business, as you said.
But, you know, Northern Iowa,
you tried to go to the games that he was playing
against, you know, Iowa, Iowa State.
Some of those schools are going to play
a couple of big opponents like that a year.
How do they fare against those, you know,
those Power 5 schools?
And then so he gets here and we start him,
kind of as a backup and then rotating him in.
He had a little back deal that he had to work through,
but I tell you, the last couple years,
he has really turned it on and made it a no-brainer for us to extend.
And there's not a lot of teams that pay two tackles.
You know, it's not always the easiest thing to do.
Obviously, Dion's been a staple here, you know, since 2017.
But we just felt it was, you know, Spencer was really still an ascending player.
And you're right.
He's quiet.
He loves to get out there.
and he probably does more talking on the field than he does off the field.
He's just kind of a lunch pal guy.
You're kind of guy.
I'm excited where he's at.
He had to start camp on Pup.
He had a little deal in the summer that set him back with his back.
But he's back out there today.
Today was his first full practice, and he came up to me.
He's going to be a little sore, but he's excited to be out there.
Yeah.
So he was supposed to do a place.
Oh, I know.
I know.
Yeah, that's how it goes sometimes.
He's like, yeah, this is how it goes.
Because you know how people would do anything for an ice cold bud light.
What would you do anything for?
Oh, man.
Maybe a Tito's.
It can't be any drink?
No, it's like a suitable.
Josh said, oh.
Like in your life.
I thought you want to drink.
That is hilarious.
Maybe a Tidos.
Maybe a Moscow mule.
That actually is so funny.
I understand why he thought it was a drink too.
I thought you were saying.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
All right.
All right, go ahead, Will.
Ask him a question.
Yeah, I got you.
Ask him this question for the very first time.
I got you.
Coach, you know how people would do anything for an ice cold, refreshing,
enjoyment made easy, bud light.
Crisp.
What would you do anything for?
Can't say family.
Obviously, a Super Bowl, you know, as we said.
So we can do that parade and I can jump through that.
table or whatever whatever it takes but no it's that would be I mean ever since we got here
that would be what it'd be and the longer you're here you know the passion you feel in this fan
base to how bad this this city wants it and needs a you know a championship just a
it's a blue-collar town and you like I said you can you can feel the the energy here you see
our fans like if I'm just telling you we win get to that parade yeah I won't ask you
directly, but we started off the show talking about dick jokes.
People here in the Josh Allen interview trying to go back and forth with each other.
But are you familiar with what Coach Vrable said on Bustle with the boys back in 2019?
No, what do you say?
He said he'd chop it off for a Super Bowl.
He turned to a Ken Dolls, what is he saying?
Oh, my God.
How far is he willing to go?
Oh, my God.
You got kids?
I do have two kids.
Yeah.
So I'd be all right there.
Okay.
We're getting somewhere.
We're getting somewhere.
I don't think I could chop it off.
I want one bad.
I swear I do.
I try to negotiate.
Yeah.
On the art of the deal.
You take a ball.
Something would have to happen, but we're not doing the whole thing.
Yeah, I don't think.
I feel like Bill's Mafia would have loved the other ones.
Bill's mafia would have put that on a poster.
Like, you're goddamn right.
That would have been.
Oh.
And they win?
Yeah.
Yeah.
That's the problem.
The parade ends.
He's under anesthesia.
Someone's going to say, no, you said you would do it.
Yeah, put him through a table and it's like, all right, let's get to the hospital.
You did, you did mention that if you guys win the Super Bowl, you'll go through a table that we will be setting up.
Was that a invite to your Super Bowl?
That's a hundred percent an invite.
You're going to shake on it right now?
Yes.
We could be on the bus?
Yes.
That would be great.
Get your ass here.
Locked.
And my future's bet has just been placed on Fandle.
Done.
Bill's winning at all.
We appreciate it.
No, this was fun.
This has been awesome, man.
You guys, the hospitality we said in the beginning of the interview.
Hospitalize has been A-plus.
Cool.
You guys just franchise.
We're really rooting for you guys this year.
Appreciate that.
Hopefully it's our year.
Yeah.
Awesome.
Thank you.
Thank you.
That was a fun one.
Yeah.
That was good.
I love the, you really thing.
That's so.
Wait up this episode to bring you, buddy, the best clothing line I have ever put on my body in my entire life.
And that is true classic.
Dude, they send us the new Pima T-shirts.
This is not.
Not one.
But if you go and look at the vlog that's coming out very soon, made by J.P. Hovey of our training
camp tour, you will see me rocking a black t-shirt.
You're right, Taylor, what's different?
You're always wearing a black t-shirt and black pants.
These ones, they have a little curve at the bottom.
They grab their shoulders the same way those classic cotton boys do and gives you a little love in the middle.
That way you can feel great, feel confident, and do all the things you need to do.
But I'm telling you, the quality and the affordability of this stuff is incredible.
You can find True Classic at Amazon and Costco Sam's Club and Target nationwide or go online at trueclassic.com
forward slash busting.
Look good, feel good, play good.
Let's get back to this episode.
What's up, guys?
Welcome to another episode of Buston with the Boys podcast.
We are here in Buffalo, your host, Josh Allen.
We got two very special guests coming to join us later.
One guy named Will Taylor or Will Compton and Taylor something.
Tyler.
Tyler.
Okay, Tyler something.
I got to probably do my research on them before they walk in,
but they're outside, signing autographs, doing famous stuff.
They think they're pretty cool.
So they're taking their time, making me wait.
Might have to end this one early, so stay tuned.
I'll just say that defense got the best of you.
Devens had a couple picks,
but the unfortunate thing that you're not realizing he wasn't in.
There's the twos.
You're seeing picks.
He spent a whole time with the twos.
I didn't even have to.
I didn't even have to be on the field.
He doesn't really see the ones.
He didn't even have to be on the field
to have you rattled out there.
Yeah.
Yeah.
I felt the pressure, yeah.
Did you feel the pressure knowing what the boys was here today?
Yeah, of course.
Yeah.
You could see in that second to last period in the red zone.
Yeah.
Started O for three.
Didn't start O for three, but yeah, go ahead.
We missed a couple in a row.
You had one, an easy throw out to the flat right there,
drop is a little low.
And then you threw the fade.
And then you had one right over the middle.
The seam is the one you're talking.
The next one I was talking about.
That was a third throw.
Yeah, I didn't throw.
The seam was...
There was two seams.
One was kind of a smaller scene, but...
One, it seemed like you were beating yourself up pretty bad about that.
Yeah, I was.
I don't miss those.
Wide open.
Yeah.
Two minute was nice.
I got excited.
I got excited.
Two minute was nice.
Well, were nine for nine?
Something like that.
Nine for nine, seventy five and a TD?
Yeah.
It's another day at the office.
Dude, what do you do around here when you get a little time off?
A little break ski.
You get golf?
Yeah.
Oh, kill is right across the street.
Hey, look at those.
Those are nice.
Yeah, those are sweet.
Got them from a little commercial shoot we did.
Yeah, I like that.
That's cool.
You'll get to see it.
It'll drop pretty soon.
Okay, I can't wait.
It's the 13th, right?
Yeah, something like that.
Something like that.
It's natural.
O'Kills right across the street.
Pittsburgh Derry.
It's right down the street, too.
You guys should go.
Yeah.
You like ice cream?
Love ice cream.
Yeah.
What's your go to?
I love ice cream.
You're on edge.
No, no, I'm just, I'm just excited to have you on.
There's a good, like, a legit, good ice creamery down the road.
Really?
Fantastic, yeah.
Joey Bosa was talking about him golfing around here quite a bit.
A couple places he mentioned.
And then there's this place called Sukon.
He just checked out.
You played Sukon?
I think it's a Sukon country club.
I've heard of it, yeah.
Oh, you have?
Yeah.
Been there.
What's your, you've been there?
Yeah.
Oh, how'd you shoot?
Three under.
What have you been?
How was the off season?
Big off season.
Big off season.
Got married.
Got married.
It was fantastic.
Yeah, that's the high season.
Highlight, did a little honeymoon, and now we're here.
What we do for the honeymoon? Where we go?
Hawaii. How was that?
Beautiful. Yeah? Yeah, that was great.
Great answer. It was. No, I know. It was fantastic.
We love visiting Hawaii.
Maui? No? No, not Maui. Okay. Where were we? Where we go?
Hawaii. Okay, well, just one of them. Yeah.
Just hit the whole thing. Yeah, we just hit the whole thing. All of them, yeah.
Play golf out there? I did play some golf. Yeah, where did you play it?
Nineia? Oh, did you, did you meet, uh, Chival?
You got Mike and Andy over here.
Come on.
All right.
Mike and Andy.
Anyways, continue.
He's, he's, he's good.
Everybody's guards up right now.
People watching this be like, why is it like this?
It's tense.
Yeah, because they know.
Yeah.
You're sweating.
Well, yeah, I was just outside wearing all black.
I don't think a whole lot.
Right.
Can I ask you a question?
A serious question?
Yes.
Juko, Rout, Wyoming.
Everyone's kind of doubting you.
You're a 10th overall pick.
You signed a half a billion dollar deal.
Close.
Close to a half a billion dollar deal.
Close to 10th.
Close to 10th.
You're 11, 12, 9, 8, 7.
There we go.
Oh, respect to 7s.
Yeah.
Okay.
You have all the success.
Where's the chip now?
Do you have a picture of Patrick Mahomes?
Yeah.
That's not a good job.
No, I don't have a picture.
I do not have a picture of Pat.
No, I mean, again, we haven't won the whole thing yet.
It's still there.
The chip's still on the shoulder.
so we got to keep working.
As a competitor, what is the pettiest thing that you've had motivate you?
That is a great question.
Ooh, that's a good question.
So we played the Dolphins a couple years ago,
and they wore these shirts with the emoji like this.
And I thought it was due to something else.
I just picked a reason why it made me mad, and we went with it.
And Mike White was there in Miami at the time,
and he goes, why did you hit us with it?
with that and I was like I felt like guys were making fun of me or something so he's like
nothing to do with you it didn't even have anything to do with the bills it had to something to do
with the dolphins but um that's that was probably one of them yeah i saw it on like twitter or something
i'm like i'm getting mad just like trying to do a neckie swoosh or something like yeah yeah he's like
no i see exactly what the fuck you guys are doing what you're up to out there see through it um
dude you're big in agriculture i heard you have like a massive farm correct
massive is maybe an overstatement let me so i have 13
acres. Okay. I think that's pretty big. Yeah. Okay. So massive. Okay. Yeah. To you. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. There's some big farmers though in Central
Valley. So we have 1500 acres. Got about equivalent or roughly 700 acres of pistachios in now. And that's
that's the big game. What is it about pistachios that get you rocked up? The protein.
Good fats. Good fats. Help you sleep. Yeah. Yeah. And you're probably just looking around thinking there's
way too much pesticides. I got to do something about this pistachio epidemic.
Yeah. And that's why you dialed it in. That's why we did it. I love that.
Yeah. I have a quarterback question for you. If you could take one skill from another quarterback,
what would it be and who would it be from? Of all time. Let's say currently end of all time.
I wish I was faster. Like Lamar, that'd be pretty cool. You're pretty fast, though.
Yeah, but like, he's fast fast fast. But you're like, yeah. I'm like deceptively fast.
You're Caucasian fast.
Yeah.
Like, oh, shit.
Yeah.
It's like if you relax a little bit.
It's like, oh, I took a bad angle.
I'm a bad angle fast.
Yeah.
Yeah, yeah.
Yeah, yeah.
You're a bad angle fast.
Yeah.
Yeah.
So maybe, yeah, Lamar's speed.
And of all time, just Steve Young.
That's it.
That's it.
Yeah.
That's a great answer.
I'm on a Steve Young kick right now.
You saw he's out there throwing dimes not too long ago.
A little clip was going viral.
That's why I saw it like.
Yeah.
That's pretty cool.
He's a stud.
When you guys have as much success as you did,
especially on the offensive side of the ball,
when you go into camp,
where are the steps you guys think you've taken
to move forward to get over that hump?
Well, bringing in new pieces,
a guy like Josh Palmer, a guy like Elijah Moore,
getting them just associated with what we're doing,
how we're doing it, the Everybody Eats mindset,
trying to get on the same page with them.
But again, like looking at film from last year,
like there's still so many things like easy stuff that I missed like whether it was with my eyes or with my feet
I missed Dalton Kincaid like on three or four touchdowns last year that should have been walk-ins
so there's a lot of room for growth just continuing to trust what Joe's calling and making sure that he understands what I like what I don't like
and then again if he does call something I don't like instead of trying to force something to make it happen just find the back and move on you know
yeah we were talking to Howley the GM for Philly yesterday and we were talking about like the noise
how people always talk about how the players have ignored the noise and how he ignores the noise.
And he was saying that he honestly just doesn't look at it, doesn't look at Twitter, the comments, anything.
It's a very difficult thing to do.
How do you kind of compartmentalize and ignore the noise, especially with a person you're married to, the outside?
Everyone's wondering what you're doing.
You've become this A-list celebrity.
How do you keep the main thing, the main thing, and ignore sometimes this negative talk?
Similar thing.
I stay off social media, so I don't really see it.
I try to again always remind myself that I'm just a human being normal.
Very good at what I do and that's what kind of people want to see.
Staying off.
I haven't checked Twitter.
Twitter is a crazy place.
It's a scary place.
It's a scary place.
It's also fun at times.
It's also fun at times.
But like it, there's just videos on there that you shouldn't see, right?
Like I'm not even talking about sports.
There's just some crazy stuff.
Like weird algorithms.
People don't need to see that.
Yeah.
Like get it.
put the phone down, go enjoy your family, go enjoy your friends.
I've honestly noticed myself doing, like playing chess on my phone a lot, like Catan,
like stuff that I wouldn't think I would play, you know, five years ago,
but like that's all I do now on my phone is play chess and Catan.
You play 2048?
No, it's not one of those.
Okay.
And the swipe game?
Yeah, the swipe game.
Yeah, I used to.
I haven't played that in a long time.
It's good one.
I've been on that like crazy.
Been on it.
There's like, you see him just there.
Yeah.
He's trying to get my ass.
You play the game room 40?
No.
52, though.
52 is a good one.
You have 50s too?
Yeah.
Yeah, 50s too?
Yeah, okay.
Name the, how about this?
Name the greatest player besides Ray Lewis to wear number 52 in NFL history.
I'm not.
I'm not.
I also don't know.
You want to hit?
Yeah, 49ers.
I know.
know who, but I'm scared to say.
I just want to see if you guys know ball or not.
That's it.
Certified not ball knowers right here.
No, no, no.
You're not going to get out of me.
Played it all miss.
Next.
Played it all miss.
Ran a four three at the combine.
Go ahead.
Next question.
What's your next question, Will?
I got him rattled.
What, um...
You know what the problem is?
Your coach put some expectation, put some pressure on us before this interview.
Oh, is he trying to get me?
And if you were trying to get us.
Yeah.
I mean, you started off the day with shaking our hands the way he would.
Coach Haywood wouldn't do that.
No, he wouldn't.
Coach Haywood would not do that.
He would not.
He would not.
He would not.
He would not.
Joey B.
You're thinking.
You know who loves Twitter, Bill's Mafia.
Do they now?
Yeah, they do.
And I'll tell you a little story.
Shaq Lawson.
Okay.
We played Joll 2019.
Shaq Lawson, first round pick.
They run a game, him and Phillips.
Phillips ends up getting a sack,
and Shaq Lawson after the game starts talking trash about me.
So I put his stats up, and I go, yeah, first round stats look great, buddy,
like whatever, you're a monster.
And I put my phone down.
And I went back to my phone, not knowing a nuclear bomb went off.
And Bill's Mafia, I'll never do anything ever again to them.
Ever.
Good.
It was terrible.
Good, don't.
Yeah.
Do you have a question in there?
Nope, just a story.
It's a great story.
It's really another opportunity to say sorry.
I think you're on the good side now, Bill's Mafia.
I'm trying.
I'm trying my best.
We like Taylor.
We're good.
That's all you need.
That's all you need.
That's all you need.
That's all you need, dude.
That's all you.
We'll see.
I'm good with like.
I'm very likable.
I'd say I love you.
Bill's Mafia, we like you.
Got you.
We'll get the, maybe one day.
Yeah.
Fire taste.
Growth.
Being at Philly, it seems like Philly will like,
if you win a game, they love you.
If you lose a game, they absolutely despise you.
and they want to burn the entire franchise.
Oh, yeah.
Bills feels more like win, lose, or draw.
They're kind of about the boys, no matter what.
As long as you ride with them, they ride with you.
That's all you got to do.
Can't stack losses.
Philly, I will say this, going to play there,
was that two or three years ago, maybe two years ago,
I've never heard some of the stuff that those fans said.
It was brutal.
And it's kind of like...
Like, in pregame, too, like just...
You appreciate it.
There's like a, you know, the few hundred people
that are around the fence trying to get out of...
from guys and it's just like brutal.

episode. When you're going into the
playoff game against the Chiefs
last year, do you feel the
storyline, the pressure, the
expectation you might be putting on yourself
like this is the fucking game?
And when you look back on that game,
are there just moments and situations that just
piss you off because it's the Chiefs?
I mean, it
wouldn't matter who it was, to me, to be
honest, there's stuff that pisses me off thinking about of things that I could have done differently
or, you know, there was a first down, you know, I just kind of took my eyes off the ball. I dropped
the ball. Now it's second and 12 instead of throwing an easy spot route. Now it's second and four.
It's just like a little shit like that that adds up in those games and you just can't have it in those
games. So, yeah, kind of, yeah, I still think about it. Was that a first down? I was just going to ask
that. I was walking back on the field because I saw on the Jumbotron.
that angle where it sure does look like I crossed.
I was like,
they're calling this a first down.
There's no way they can't.
And I was wrong,
so it wasn't.
Do you ever think, like,
the way the Eagles run the tush push,
and then they just kind of have you try to figure it out,
like somebody pushing?
He always goes to the B gap.
You move over two gaps and then go to the left B gap.
Like, I need a couple guys back there.
If Joe Brady's listening to this right now,
I know he's a fan of the show.
You're a stallion.
I'm just going to go straight.
Should.
Okay.
Right?
Wood.
Could.
Will.
Done.
Okay.
All right.
I love that.
Once he says wood, my intentions are just up, dude.
That's the good, the bad, the ugly.
What else we got for him?
I almost feel like we should just sit in silence for the next 15 minutes and just try to get each other.
Last time you were on the bus, you were talking about how you don't do anything in the off season.
Yeah.
Don't work out.
I didn't say that.
I didn't say that.
I didn't say that.
I said during my.
During my time, during my time.
During my time.
I do like OTAs.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, but I'm talking about, let's say playoffs over.
I threw this year.
I threw this year.
Yeah.
You're taking any extra, doing extra things, but you're getting older, the body, cold tub guy, NAD guy.
Infrared sonnas.
Oh, got in there.
I have done NAD plus, which.
Brutal.
It's like somebody just standing on your heart for an hour straight.
Yeah.
I feel like right under, like in the jujunum, you know, Jackie Moon style.
Yeah.
I feel bad.
And so I started doing that.
I haven't done it in a while.
I should probably get back on that.
Ozone treatments.
You do 10 pass or just a couple?
10 pass.
Eating better.
Just picking better foods.
Yeah.
Eating less processed stuff.
Trying your best more pistachios.
Yeah, correct.
Are these new things that you've adopted over the past couple years?
Yeah.
Yeah.
I think going to last year, like getting a chef that on a consistent.
consistent basis and, you know, substituting some of the butter and the dairy that I was getting.
And I don't know, tastes good and it fueled me right. So it started to take it up a little bit.
Yeah. I'm not going to stay young forever. Correct. Can't do it. Still country boy, though, you know.
Still a country boy. Got to have a little snack once in a while. Country boys have good old school throwing a bag
drinking stories. Is there a fun little drinking story that we could hear from Josh Allen that the public could
hear that we could laugh a little bit about? I actually didn't didn't drink for 11.
years.
Okay.
I turned 12.
Okay.
They're still trying to process that one.
Have you ever, have you ever like, I'm kidding?
Kick the door in or knock the door down?
Did somebody tell you that?
I'm asking questions.
This is an interview.
Yeah, we can talk about.
There's some good Josh Allen lore out there that he's a good time.
Have you heard that one before?
Tell us about it.
I don't think we need to talk about it.
but that's weird that you would mention that that's uh my mind is spinning right now that is very
specific yeah very specific door just maybe one day one night i don't know there was a
a door that was kicked down i can neither confirmed or deny where hypothetically where
this door door been uh at a at a bar in laramie yeah i'm not there's only three of them so you can
some some research there yeah huh door was talking a little shit had to get some hands i guess so i guess so
If Josh Allen had a day with the boys of your choice, what does that day look like?
Do you get the boys together in the off season?
It's a golf trip.
It's a day of golf.
Throwing a few back.
What's the region of location that you guys are spending time?
We've gone to a hoopy match club the last couple of years, which is like in the middle of nowhere, and it's literally just the boys.
Like think of your outside.
They have like these light up, let's light up putting green.
And you sit there all night and drink beer and put all night.
And it's my favorite place.
This is a happy place.
It seems like that's the.
Didn't get a cameo and Happy Gilmore 2?
No, I didn't.
Did they ask?
No.
What?
I feel like that's one of those things you've got to reach out.
Once you hear that Happy Gilmore 2 is in production, you've got to get on the horn with that comments.
And I feel like since Josh loves golf so much that something when he saw the cameos,
he probably took it just a little personal.
That's what's going to motivate me this year.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Thanks, Adam.
Yeah, Adam Sandler.
Any future plans to potentially get a cameo in a movie?
No, I don't think so.
Nothing with the wifie?
No, not at the moment.
I'll never say never to that.
But she's so freaking good at what she does that she would, I don't know.
Do you ever pitch yourself for a role to her?
All the time.
Yeah.
Yeah.
We don't read lines, but we'll do like improv, you know?
Just keep it going.
Keep it going.
But your prop guy?
Yeah.
What's been the best role that you've kind of pitched to her?
Being her husband.
Hey.
That is nice.
Next question.
Yeah, I don't know if I want to ask it.
Good.
Good.
Yes.
Probably smart.
Yeah, yeah.
Appreciate you.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Off camera.
Yeah.
It's an off camera question.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
you have another one i don't even know what it is but yeah i'm scared to ask a question what do you got
i'm just nervous about getting got you're not going to get out it's it's too late in the
interview there's i don't have any more no you know there's always time you know how the boys
people in general would do anything for an ice cold bud light what is something that josh allen
would do anything for i think freshly baked chocolate chip cookies and milk that's i mean
whole milk yeah whole milk absolutely
I still haven't gotten on the raw milk train yet
Really?
Yeah
I feel like it's just a little bit different
Is it?
I do love raw milk
Yeah, I'm a fan of it
If I'm gonna go the milk path
Gotcha
You ever put the cream on the top
Like in your coffee?
No
You know my coffee
Black
All the way
Yeah
No changes about it
Hell yeah
Well, Jack, you got any questions?
This is a hell of an interview
I feel like we're on the office right now
Yeah
Yeah
You know what yeah
Stanley and Michael Scott.
Who's the girl that sits across from Stanley?
Damn it, Jack.
Damn it, Jack.
Thank you guys.
That is all here for messing with the applause.
Cut the cameras and I'm going to get them.
Oh, right.
Jack.
Fourth quarter.
How could you?
Hookline sinker, baby.
The whole podcast was literally just,
just that.
A chess match.
Yeah, dude, legit.
Who's that chess player that's, like, amazing?
The one that Magnus, what's his name?
I know what it is, but I'm not going to say it.
No, no, no, I'm actually asking.
Magnus Carlson.
Magnus Carlson.
You need to play chess with him.
There's no shot.
It seems like your brain.
But that was a good chess move right there.
That was nice.
And the fact that Jack fell for it is just crazy.
I know.
I got one of our boys at the very end, last second.
Hashtag dad.
Look at them.
They were 13 seconds.
It was like on your face.
Oh, man.
Hey guys, it's us.
The Jonas Brothers.
I'm Joe.
I'm Kevin.
And I'm Nick.
And guess what?
We created our own podcast called.
Hey, Jonas.
Nice.
We invented a podcast?
Well, we didn't invent it.
We just contributed to it.
We're the first people to do podcasts.
We get to ask other people questions because we're sick and tired of being asked questions.
Well, sick and tired is a strong.
way to put it, but, you know, tired and sick, tired and sick. Listen to Hey Jonas on the IHeart
Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcast. Just listen. We don't care where you hear it.
Here's something that should not be as complicated as it is, getting a racist statue removed.
And here's something that should be a whole lot easier than it is, getting a new one put up in its place.
I'm Akela Hughes, and Rebel Spirit, season two, is about both of those things.
As I was watching these statues come down, I was thinking about what it meant that I grew up in a majority of black city.
in which there were more homages to enslavers than there were to enslave people.

Your 20s can be so exciting, but they can also be really overwhelming, confusing, and honestly, just kind of lonely.
May is Mental Health Awareness Month, and the psychology of your 20s is breaking down the science behind the biggest roadblocks we face.
I was six years into my career, the 80-hour weeks, and just the first.
one in the last one out and I ended up burning out. There was a large chunk of my 20s that I like was
just so wanting to like be out of that phase out of my skin and I just like really regret not living in
the present more. You don't need to have everything figured out right now. You just need to understand
yourself a little bit better. Listen to the psychology of your 20s on the iHeart radio app,
Apple Podcasts or wherever you get your podcasts.
