Starting point is 00:04:40 Download the app or visit fandle.com slash busting to get started. Fellas, God, it's good to be back. We are officially like full capacity, full throttle on football. Last week, we got college football. Now we got put NFL in it. It's just, it's a great time to be alive. It's a great time to get after it this football season. And I couldn't be happy with my three fellas.
Starting point is 00:05:02 Yeah, man. Clay, there he is, man. In Australia. Week one of the NFL season, and he goes to foreign soil. Yeah. We are. This dude says he got a letter from Trump. Goes to foreign soil.
Starting point is 00:05:19 Look at you, man. Look at hell. It's not how I would handle my business, but yet here we are. Every week, too, we're going to be doing callbacks. We're going to be doing a lot of giveaways. Before we get started, the Ford Leaderboard, here's how the entire operation is going to work. Every week, the boys are going to get 10 units to use on the slate. There will also be one extra unit to use on a parlay that we build a barlay that we build a
Starting point is 00:05:44 our choice every week 10 units on the slate and then one little simple unit to build our own parlay the four leader board will show you who's in the lead who's behind if you watch the college football show i lost 11 units last weekend taylor and paint were up i feel good yeah it's a nothing bird because it's week one yeah yeah and if delaney walker showed us anything it's not how you start it's how you finish and it's all unit base so even if i'm down 11 units you can make big swing and get back in the game. Right. That's the thought process, dude.
Starting point is 00:06:17 Don't think about how down you are. Keep swinging. Yeah. Just keep going no matter what. You went to school this off season. How are you seeing the board this weekend? I think I see it clearly. Yeah?
Starting point is 00:06:29 Yeah, yeah, yeah. I'm on point right now. I think everything I'm about to give you guys are hitters. Really? Yeah, yeah. I think our gentleman right here, Pete Golding and Joyer on X, The Mule is back. Got to feel good.
Starting point is 00:06:44 That got to feel. I feel great. You know, I mean, when I see those, those comments about the mule and them trusting in me and following my lead, I mean, like at the end of the day, this is what I do. That's what you do. This is what I do. It's ain't the only thing you're going to be doing, though. You got your Titans pod coming out. So just, I know you were on Bustin talking about it, but also in the locker room. You're not only going to be operating playing 5D chess. You're also going to be hosting Titans podcast all year long. Yeah, yeah, yeah, that too. That too. So people of the mule, then go check you out. Where do you find that? When do you find the Titans pod?
Starting point is 00:07:18 You can find it on Titans Radio, and then you can go to Tennessee's Titan.com, and you can find that, Tennessee Titans.com. Good. Annunciation on websites are very important. Very important. And then, you know, you can tune in at 6 o'clock, like I said, on Titans Radio. Yeah, you'll hear myself and two special guests will be on there today, too. Special, special guests.
Starting point is 00:07:41 For episode one. For episode one, man, I'm excited to have you guys on there for episode one. I think that tradeoff is just perfect. You know, I was y'all first episode. Hopefully y'all crush it like I crushed your pot. Yeah. It was. He got us off the map.
Starting point is 00:08:01 It also got us in a lot of trouble. A lot of trouble. I took a lot of heat for that. But it was worth it, though, right? Wouldn't you say? Oh, 100%. Look at John now. There is no bustling with the boys without delay.
Starting point is 00:08:12 Walker I mean like Clay would say off my back are you with game day like this is your game that your first podcast coming out what are your nerves like because I know for me and Will like what the first 20 episodes we call each other every time we're going home what should be cut is this okay you think this is all right yeah I'm real I'm nervous about just because again like you guys started your own pot y'all had to y'all y'all got to create that identity right the identity I already have is is Titans identity. So I have to be well-rounded in that aspect
Starting point is 00:08:47 of understanding that I can't say too much that'll get me in trouble. So I'm a little nervous with that just because you guys know me, people out there, y'all know the mule, I'll just say whatever and hope this shit sticks. So. Hell yeah.
Starting point is 00:09:01 Yeah, yeah. That's what the editing is for. That is a good one of editing. That's why it's called Titans Uncut. You know, we don't want editing. Ooh. Fans love it. It's a lot of audience.
Starting point is 00:09:11 Your Tappas really loves it. I love the live audience. I love the... How do you feel about the Tennessee Titans this year? What are your thoughts? I feel good about them. They're not being spoken about on the show. They're not picking their game against the Jets.
Starting point is 00:09:25 Yeah, yeah. I feel good about them. I think we have a really good cast of guys. I think that if they can play together and just really bind to the philosophy, I think they can be a good team. Well said. Sounds like a guy that's still playing on the team.
Starting point is 00:09:44 They're not on the slate. They are underdogs, five and a half. Is that one that you're? No. It's not your parlay? Oh, no. No? This week one parlay is an easy hitter.
Starting point is 00:09:56 Mine's is a layup. I just gotta get, you gotta get your feet wet. It's like right when you know winter is coming and you want to take a dip in the pool, but you gotta touch it first to see if the heater been on. If it ain't been on, you know it's cold so I'm trying to see if I got a cold one or I got a heater coming so you're saying this week one so this week one slate you got a layup coming you feel really good about I feel really good about but we're gonna just dip our toe you're not going to dive right
Starting point is 00:10:29 I'm dipping my toe in for the new he feels good about his philosophy yeah so look the new watchers who are are joining the show and like man I really like the meal I really want to see what he's all about I'm getting them custom to me. So I'm going to give them like, let me divvoo in this. Yeah, you're not going to pull back the full curtain. No, not yet. You know how I do. Show them a little leg.
Starting point is 00:10:50 Week 10, I just start hitting them, them slapers. Yeah, and it's smart too because your history is start very slow. Very slow. Very slow. And then you speed up. So you're just playing into your own strengths of weaknesses right now. Yeah, I told you. I went to school.
Starting point is 00:11:07 I just really figured out. What was the name of that school again? Caneas Whatever the fuck is I can't pronounce it Can't pronounce it but they taught you a lot of stuff About analytics Yeah man you know I was going on
Starting point is 00:11:19 I was finding these schools And I'm like damn how you say this school Like I knew it was gonna be a problem Right Yeah how you said I don't know I didn't go to the school Canetius Canetius
Starting point is 00:11:29 They're gonna say we said it wrong though People are gonna say we said Because they actually messaged us The school, the university Did they? Yeah They're saying They don't the comments they said we are a real school, we can vouch for that.
Starting point is 00:11:42 Oh, we can vouch for that. They're in. I don't blame you in the pronunciation. I can't pronounce it. I can't pronounce it at all. I'm just bad with it. Comes in names and stuff. I'm terrible.
Starting point is 00:11:52 When I committed to Michigan at a high school, Dave Ziegler laughed at me and said, you probably can't even spell Michigan. And then I actually remember the eye in the middle, which is kind of a sneaky eye. That's perfect. It feels like M-S-H. But see, what's that?
Starting point is 00:12:07 M-C-H-I-G-E. See Will will was a scholar though in high school see me and you we California we Arizona California you know the schools there you tell you saying Bontair Missouri is a scholar he was he saying like I was a scholar he was a scholar whether or not you want to shit on Bontair Missouri that's it's crazy he's talking about like when he started bringing up state I was over here look at the crowd I come back and he's like well he grew up it's like everything Will has told me about Bontair it's not a scholar or town that being said you are a
Starting point is 00:12:38 Wow. And stands for knowledge. Top 10% of my class. Okay, come on. Yeah, I'm just questioning class. I'm not questioning with. I'm just out with the class. A honor roll.
Starting point is 00:12:48 A honor roll? Yeah. The honor roll. What was your GPA? In high school? Yeah, high school. Like 10.4. What the hell is?
Starting point is 00:12:57 Wait, wait, wait. And now you're talking about. 10.6, something like that. I almost regret. Wait. What is that? What is that? What is that?
Starting point is 00:13:05 Time now. Time out. Time out. Time out. What is that? It was like, I don't want to insult Will. I don't want to be insulting. I was going on half a bag of telling me his GPA.
Starting point is 00:13:14 What is that? It was out of 11 at our school. What did you mean out of 11? It's no such thing. It is. It was a North County. It's no such thing, bro. You're talking like it's a monastery school where they give you smiley faces and browning faces.
Starting point is 00:13:28 No, no, no, no. So. No, we had hours, different classes all the time. That's, wait, wait. He said 10.4. When you went to Nebraska, they say, yo, GPA was 106. In high school, my GPA was like a 106 out of 11.
Starting point is 00:13:45 I mean, when they took it, though. It's a good score. That's a good score. I don't know. I have never heard. Hopefully the comments can help me because I have never in my life heard of a GPA being described. Back check, no.
Starting point is 00:13:56 Who told you that? Okay. I stand so firmly on how this conversation is telling you. If that was the GPA in high school, that it equates out like three and five. There we go. Three and five. So is that how y'all calculated it? In college, y'all was on the four scale.
Starting point is 00:14:13 Yeah, so how you calculated it in high school is... When I was 11? 10, oh. Yeah, I never heard of that. No school. I promise. And Blount's termination does not use the GPO. Do back in 08.
Starting point is 00:14:25 Yeah. Like, at least check that. Just type of back in 08. Quick break from the episode, quick break from the conversation. Again, make sure you are subscribed to this channel. Make sure you're dropping comments throughout the episode. We are brought to you by neutral. Neutral tastes great and tastes so much better than anything else that is out there. It's made real vodka and real juice. That's what makes it delicious.
Starting point is 00:14:45 Pineapple, watermelon. They also have new flavors, lime, and strawberry. Perfect for social occasions because it's such a crowd pleaser, especially during football season. Think on the beach with friends at an outdoor bar, on the lake, or even at your boy's birthday party. It's the perfect time of year to grab a 12-pack of Neutral for the beach or grab a bucket deal in your favorite bar to celebrate football season. Neutral, Keep it tasty. Let's get back to this episode. Please say now right at the top.
Starting point is 00:15:13 I swear, but that's false, man. We did it out of 11. You can show us a paper, some paper that said that you had a GPA of 10.46. Maybe in a box back home. You can, yeah, you can probably get it. I'm not joking. Our GPA scale was out of 11. We've known each other for eight years.
Starting point is 00:15:30 And we've talked about GPAs. I've told you my story about going to Chaparral. And I've never heard you talk about your GPA. 106. That's crazy. Oh, I mean, I got to college and then you kind of, I don't know, listen to you and basically everybody else, you realize that the whole GPA scale is out of four everywhere. Yeah, top.
Starting point is 00:15:48 So I don't know, I don't know. Including Bontair, Missouri. Yeah, four is the top. But I was nice. You were nice. Sounds like you had a 36 GPA. Yeah, which is nice. A 385.
Starting point is 00:15:56 There is no issue about you being on a roll. Top 10 percent. What class you struggle in for you not to get a 4.0? English, history. I thought you just. science math guy I thought you was gonna say farming farming yeah we just got a class of land that plan I mean yeah you know you was like the only school in Missouri in that county right in that county yeah I mean we were North County there's West County there's Park Hills there's
Starting point is 00:16:30 Farmington oh we had a lot yeah I'm my fault never heard about high school than farming you crazy all high schools got farming you're FFA. FFA. I'm a member. I'm telling you, it's a real thing. Just because of the small town, I'm assuming that they don't think people are going to get out of there. So, like, farming would be something that they offer. You won't make it out of here. You could do this. Yeah, it's Missouri.
Starting point is 00:16:58 Sounds crazy. He's right. We had, like, it was called Unitech. Unitech, like a school kind of next door for people that, you know, do shit with their hands, manual labor. electrician shit well you mean like a trade school yeah yeah yeah there yeah trade school yeah this one comes from Sir Cato this is what he's been looking forward yeah been doing the series back in my life more than Taylor wanted clay to bet the spread last season here's an idea you should let the back of the bus boys get involved in some side picks parleyes this year boys would you
Starting point is 00:17:35 like that yeah I want you live audience live audience you guys want to bring in a parlay each and every week to the locker room? Bleacher creature parlay. I like that. Does it matter? Oh, G. Penny slips. Jagg. Be Fierston and J.P. Ovi. Is it going to matter what how many legs are? I think it should be one for each guy that's in the live audience. One for each guy. Oh, she, each guy brings in that. Sheesh. Terrible idea. That's a terrible idea.
Starting point is 00:18:03 We'll do. Hey, we'll work with it. How about you guys? No bad ideas in a brainstorm. No bad ideas in a brainstorm. Fired up. Each leg, yeah, brings in a leg. Great idea. Okay. Oh yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah, not everyone has a parley.
Starting point is 00:18:16 So everyone brings in a leg and they make a parlay. Yeah, yeah. You were thinking each guy brings in their own parlay? Yeah. And we just have a line, like a, yeah, no, no, no. I'm so on that. This right here is why the people show up. No, right here.
Starting point is 00:18:28 100%. And for people that are worrying about Clay not being here, do not fret, his picks are in. And Cody from the graveyard, he will be giving out Clay Matthews' picks. his picks. So I'm fine. Moneyland Matthews is back this year. Yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 00:18:43 I'm assuming he is. Let's jump into the slate, shall we? First game. Just getting into the slate. Buccaneers at the Bengals. Bancel is five. Total points in the game is
Starting point is 00:18:53 50 and a half points. Delaney. You know, I'm still going to pick this pick, but to see my boy get paid right before the season, what do you get like three years? Like 55. Foo.
Starting point is 00:19:05 Yeah. Baker. And he's a dog. He's a dog. I thought he deserved to get. I thought he deserved. Huh? Nobody questioning his dog.
Starting point is 00:19:12 I never, I wasn't saying y'all was. I'm just talking out loud. Uh, but even though my dog got paid and y'all know I rock with, I rock with Baker. I just can't go against those bangles right now, man. Right. I just can't. You got your boy. If Burrow is healthy as they say is, I just don't think anybody's going to be able to stop them.
Starting point is 00:19:35 I think they backloaded it. They uploaded the defense. Vince. They brought in, who they bring in again? Dexter Lawrence. Dexter Lawrence and Jonathan Allen. Jonathan Allen. Yeah, yeah. Alabama got. Yeah, yeah. I just really think that they trying to get that defense good.
Starting point is 00:19:53 I feel like that was the struggle. The defense wasn't where they needed to be at now. Adding a few pieces up front, I think, and a linebacker. I want to say, was it boy? Moie, what's the linebacker name? Boy Moffat. Yeah. Adding him too.
Starting point is 00:20:07 I just think that the, I really think the Bengals are going to get it done. So I'm going to have to go with the Bengals here. I'm taking them minus three and a half. I would say the dog thing, but they're favorite. And so got to go Bengals. Yeah. You go Bengals minus three and a half. How many units?
Starting point is 00:20:23 One. One unit. Okay. The mule is just dipping his toe into the pool. I'm starting off. I'll dip my toe in even less. Oh, one unit. Zero units.
Starting point is 00:20:33 One unit. Bengals money line. Oh. I know. That's weak. That's week. Listen, this is week one football. This is week one football.
Starting point is 00:20:40 I'll fill you. Week one football, Tampa Bay. Time out. Time out. He ain't done yet. Bengals are by a point minus two and a half. Wait, you're moving in line? Yeah, minus two and a half.
Starting point is 00:20:51 Bangles minus two and a half. Listen, I lost the war last year. I have lost it. I've conceded my white flag has waived. We have to play the game how I want. It's unit based now. So you guys can structure any way you want to structure. So if you want to go Bengals Money Line,
Starting point is 00:21:04 you're more than one. I'm not going Bengals Money line. You're not going. Do you like that minus two and a half kicker? I like the minus two and a half, but I'm not going to move the line. I'm going to keep it fresh for Taylor for week one. Okay. And so I have 10 units I get to place, right, on six games.
Starting point is 00:21:20 10 units, we have one unit out, one unit out. Can I hear Clay's before I give me? Oh, Clay is going to go. Cody, Cody. Cody. Oh, yeah. Moneyline Matthews moves the line to six and a half, takes the Bengals at minus six and a half for two units. Are you kidding me?
Starting point is 00:21:37 The football season, whether you're buying tickets, booking travel, or shopping, team gear, protect your pockets with Visa. Tapping to pay for a bootleg jersey without checking the card, that is not a pro move. Tapping to pay with Visa, now that is a pro move. Visa runs more than 500 security checks to identify fraud before each transaction is approved, so you don't have to worry. Except for how that medium jersey fits after a couple dozen wings. You're going to have to worry about that just a little bit.
Starting point is 00:22:04 This season, remember a great defensive play is. when you pay with Visa. The most trusted way to pay for football fans everywhere. Let's get back to this episode. Clay coming out serious for this one. Oh my God. Money-Ly Matthews, boy, money, six and a half. Wow.
Starting point is 00:22:20 Two units? Wow. I like that. I like that pick a lot. Listen, Tampa Bay, I felt much better about Tampa Bay when Baker Mayfield sat there and he felt like he was disrespected by the team, the chip in the shoulder. Like no one uses the chip better than Baker Mayfield.
Starting point is 00:22:34 He loses Mike Evans. He goes out to the West Coast. most. On paper, this is probably like a middle of the road team, just on paper. Now, we saw Baker Mayfield, how he had fourth quarter drives or last minute drives at the end of like four or five games early in the season last year, willing his team into a win. I like that. Then you go over to the Bengals side where you've never really had question marks in the offense other than Joe Burroughs health, but the defense has always just been horrendous. They were bottom and points allowed. They're just, they were 31st in multiple categories. And that's just, that's like a pocket.
Starting point is 00:23:07 positive for them. I think the only way you can go is up. I don't know how up that is though, but I love a healthy Joe Burrow. I never love the way the Bengals have started the last two seasons, but I do like points being scored in this game. I know statistically under's kind of rule the world when it comes to NFL games, especially in week one, but I can see Joe Burrow throw it all over the yard. I can see this Bengals defense, although quote, improved, because I think it's really a tradeoff with Lawrence, like you're getting a better run stopper and an interior rusher but you got trey hendrickson that goes over to the ravens so you're losing that edge pressure that's more traditionally gets to the quarterback i see a lot of points happening this game
Starting point is 00:23:44 50 and a half looks really good i'm gonna put three units on that i'm gonna stay with the regular line and uh i like uh if i had to put it on a team i would probably go the bengals but once i see that they're all in the bangles it's like this is a clear Tampa Tampa Bay gritty team win on the road week one so you're going over i'm gonna go over 50 and a half i like that for oh no no no i can't three units. Why can't you? Because I like staring on the barrel in college football. I'm playing that like that three area because I feel really good about those. But I only have 10 units across six games. So I'll go two units on this one because I need to spread it out because I'm looking at some of the slate. There's other games I like a lot more than this game. But I do like points.
Starting point is 00:24:29 I like points. I think as excited as we want to get about Dexter Lawrence and he's a hell of a football player like that one individual is not changing the totality of this defense i think i think joe burrow scores i think chases out there higgins all the boys they're absolutely rolling and then the buccaneers they're like we have to keep pace for what's taking place here and they'll be able to do so with that defense and that back end that's how i feel about this game i mean i like you i just past years unders are been crazy crazy you're going to get just a lot a lot of a bad-looking football in the first Yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:25:02 It's going to be sloppy, but there is the preseason that always kind of plays into it. Two veteran quarterbacks, two coaches that have been there. Starters don't play a whole lot, especially even now. Yeah, but that's what, it's less. Even less, yeah. But if you look at, like, teams that have younger quarterbacks compared to veteran quarterbacks, those veteran quarterback teams usually are less penalized, more discipline when you get the early, early weeks of the season because they've been through it before.
Starting point is 00:25:26 They know how it's supposed to look. So when you're getting towards week one, there's more of a sense of urgency that they're placing on the rest of the team, as opposed to, you know, younger quarterbacks that you kind of look at the preseason, it's sloppy, and they can get mad about something, but they don't know necessarily how to fix it along with the coaching staff.
Starting point is 00:25:42 So that's where I like this being a sharper game on the offensive side of the ball, because there's not a whole lot to hang your head on both sides. I think Bucketer's defense was middle of the road. Yeah, they middle tear as well. Second game, Ravens at Colts. You've heard the chaos. Now you can see it.

Starting point is 00:26:29 We share the messy reality of traveling alone as a woman. I can wait four hours for the next bus or this random dude is offering me a ride on his motorcycle. I chose option B. I'm Julie Pinero, and I travel by myself because it's a rare space where I can say yes without asking anyone else first. I'm on a mission to reclaim the word solita, trading the pity for possibility. Every time I tried to be alone, I kept meeting people, and they were like, You smiled at us. Not a lot of people smile around here. It's when you're alone that you're most receptive to the world as it is and not the lies you're sold about it.
Starting point is 00:27:07 It can be a time where you push your limits, change your mind, or wake up to a new version of yourself. So whether you're a solo travel veteran or you're too nervous to book your first trip, I hope you listen to Solita on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. Self-care September is here, which means it's time to rethink what self-care actually means. Yes, self-care can be a long walk. It can be in everything shower. It can be putting your phone on, do not disturb. But sometimes it's actually about sitting with the uncomfortable stuff. And understanding your patterns, your boundaries,
Starting point is 00:27:44 finally figuring out while you keep doing things that you swore you would never do again. I'm Gemma Spag, the host of the Psychology of Your 20s podcast. And each week we unpack the psychology behind the experiences that shape your 20s, from relationships and friendships to money, anxiety, confidence, attachment, just becoming more comfortable with who you are. Unlike the quarter life crisis, which is depicted as the collapse, the quarter life reinvention is the expansion and growth of something. When we develop the ability to be happy by ourselves, nobody else can take that from you.
Starting point is 00:28:16 So this self-care September, don't just take care of yourself, get to know yourself as well. Listen to the psychology of your 20s on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. Our town is small taters by most standards, right? But to the people who grew up here, it's everything. What happens when a quiet Tennessee town becomes the front line in a battle over the future of America? Developers with right-wing ties have purchased hundreds of acres of land in the area. The first thing you see when it pops up is pioneers in Appalachia.
Starting point is 00:28:50 But they weren't just planning houses. We need cities on a shining hill that exemplify and embody and embody. The Christian way of life. Stop right there. Is that normal? A podcast about what happens when a small town becomes the site of a social experiment. God need men to rule. Great.
Starting point is 00:29:07 And decides to fight back. Do not use my hard work to sell your bull-h. They're not just opposing what's being planned for here. Our hometown is not a test tube. They feel like they're standing in opposition to an entire administration. Guess you didn't move in on a bunch of dumb hillbillies now, did you? Listen to Our Town on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. By age 11 or so, at least 70% have a phone.
Starting point is 00:29:37 Middle School is a different world than the one we grew up in. I'm Dr. Joy, and this is Therapy for Black Girls. We spend real time on it in our surviving middle school run, bringing in a child psychologist and a psychiatrist who's raising two Black girls of his own to talk about what's really going on with our kids right now. So it's literally physiological. and neurological and psychological chaos happening all this time. We got into group chats and gaming, friendships and bullying,
Starting point is 00:30:04 and how to tell the difference between healthy monitoring and the kind of surveillance that erodes trust. There's belonging. You could think of belonging as, I can be myself and I can still be accepted, and then there's fitting in. Spitting in says, I have to change who I am in order to avoid rejection. Then we turn the conversation toward the fathers, sitting down with therapist Keer Gaines on Black Fatherhood,
Starting point is 00:30:27 and what it means to raise a daughter through this stage. You don't have on shorts, so you can't do flips. You have on the dressy up across your legs. That's the range of this run, from screen time to identity to the father's doing the work at home. You have to get off her device. But the reality is there's a lot of life out there that we don't want you as your adults in their lives to miss out on.
Starting point is 00:30:46 This has been our surviving middle school run. Brought to you by the people who spend their careers thinking about exactly this. I'm Dr. Joy. Listen to therapy for black girls on the iHeartRadie. app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcast. The Ravens are favored minus three and a half. Total points in that game is 47.5 points.
Starting point is 00:31:06 Ravens last year said the best roster, their defense was absolutely incredible. They ended up sputtering and falling apart. At the end of the year, not making the playoffs. Delaney, what do you think about this game? I think Lamar is still Lamar. I think they still have one of the top tier offenses out there, Derek Henry Flowers. The defense, I just think they're going to get even better.
Starting point is 00:31:32 The only thing that scares me is- It wasn't even that good last year, though. Name-wise, roster on paper-wise, very good. I mean, they didn't show up. You had a lot of talent that didn't show up. But I think that the new regime, the new fresh air in the building, things is going to change. Because you got to understand, when you have an old coach that you've been playing for,
Starting point is 00:31:53 he had favoritism. Like, you may have not been the best that year, they keep you, right? Just because the coach know you have time with you, they keep you. But this new coach, hey, you don't show up. We get rid of your ass. You nobody. We want to bring our own players in here.
Starting point is 00:32:06 I think sometimes that has a tasting guy's mouth where they have to understand. They got to get up and show out. And I think that's what the Ravens is going to do this year. So I'm going Ravens. Minutes three and a half. Minutes three and a half, one unit. And the coach. Who the coach?
Starting point is 00:32:23 We don't know what, we don't know what Daniel's going to do this year. We don't know. He showed up last year, got hurt. Team went from what, 7 and 1 to losing all eight games at the end of the year. True. You don't just lose that. All fair points. So we'll see what happens.
Starting point is 00:32:38 We'll see what happens. But I think the Ravens are going to take this one. Willie? One unit. Okay. Colts plus three and a half. Colts plus three and a half. I see the offense.
Starting point is 00:32:56 I see. I'm a believer in Daniel Jones. I think Saw Scardner now being there. He got traded mid-year last year. I don't, I'm in a spot where I'm questioning the Ravens. Like I wasn't last year. I was super confident in how they were going to perform that year. And they kind of, they shit the bad.
Starting point is 00:33:16 Guys got a lot of injuries. There's a part of me that just, and I don't know what it is. I can't explain it. We'll know more after week one. but them going on the road to Indy I just like Indianapolis like I think Daniel Jones you know I'm bullish on him
Starting point is 00:33:32 making a strong comeback that offense operating at the left not necessarily at the level yet that they were before he got injured but still another he's got another year in the system a lot of continuity with that team love T.J. Warren at tight end obviously you know Jonathan Taylor I just like what they have
Starting point is 00:33:49 so I'm going to go Colts plus three and a half one unit one simple unit I like the Ravens in this game. I like the idea that everyone sat here in 2025, pad them on the ass, tell them how great they were going to be, and they underperformed not only on the opposite side of the ball, but the defense was supposed to be the strength of their team. Jesse Minter comes over from the Chargers,
Starting point is 00:34:10 and if you look at where Jesse Minter's been, as a DC, it's always elevated the gameplay on the defensive side of the ball. Now with those names and bringing Trey Hendrickson over, obviously there was a bunch of stuff. Max Crosby, Trey Hendrickson, all those things take place. Trey comes over from the Bengals and giving them a viable pass rush option now
Starting point is 00:34:30 to where they have the back end of their defense led by, was it, Kyle Hamilton, who is probably the best safety in the game, if not top three in the game. He's going to be able to get around a little bit more. They plug and play him. They put him deep. They bring him in the box.
Starting point is 00:34:44 The guy can really do everything. He's got a great nose for the game, similar to Caleb Downs at the Ohio State when he was in college. I like them having a big step forward. I think the way Derek Henry's season started is not how it's going to start this year. This is a guy, another chip on the shoulder guy. This is a guy that 60 yards rushing in the game.
Starting point is 00:35:02 He's not talking to anybody for a week. He takes things very personally and he's very aware of how his season started last year. And it's going to be the run game. With him, Lamar, I think Zay Flowers has a big game as well as a receiving option. So I like the Ravens quite a bit here. I like that little extra juice, some new blood in the Ravens facility. and they still have a top to bottom great roster across the board. So as much as they underperform last year,
Starting point is 00:35:27 I see them making big steps this year. So that's two AFC North teams that I'm a fan of right now going to this. So how many units? I'm raven. I didn't say units. I got to keep remembering that. I'm going to go two on this one as well. I like the Ravens.
Starting point is 00:35:42 And with the three and a half, and we'll get you a point. Yeah, okay. No, I'll just go three and a half. I do love the under in this case. I love the under in this game. I was thinking about that one too. I do love the under in this game, but I took the over in the last one. You know what?
Starting point is 00:35:57 Let me parlay. I'm going to parlay Ravens minus three and a half and then give me the over as well, 47.5 for two units. There we go, starting out high. Yeah, I'm going to do that. Can I get Moneyline Matthews pick, please, Cardo? Yeah, Moneyline Matthews is going to trail you. He's got Ravens minus three and a half for two units as well. Nice.
Starting point is 00:36:17 Man. It's far with Moneyline Matthews, man. Huh? Smart by Money Line Matthews. He's going all. He's going against the grain for where he just took money lines on favorites. I know. Moving the line a little more.
Starting point is 00:36:29 It's like we finally told him like, listen, you can have what you want. You've won the game. You can move the line and be as conservative as you want. He's essentially flipped the script on us all of a sudden. He's gone the opposite way now. Yeah. Clay is one of the most aggressive guys on the show. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:36:43 In the short time we've been here. Yeah. He's going to spice it up a little bit. Clay would also tell you to shop Grave We got a Gravely game of the week coming up. Buy yourself a lawnmower. Ain't that right, Clay? We got the Gravely game of the week.
Starting point is 00:36:59 Buffalo at Houston. The line on this game is essentially a pick-em. Bills are favored by one and a half on the road. The over-under, the total on this game is 44.5. I love Josh Allen. I love Joe Brady. Is this the year for Josh Allen? MVP caliber right here.
Starting point is 00:37:18 The same thing we say every one. I hope it is. They get a good wide receiver. He has a wide receiver one officially. Joe Brady, they got a great relationship. He's a fan of the show. I love him. We went to see them in camp last year and he's like,
Starting point is 00:37:30 oh, man, I wish I was wearing my bustle with the boy sat. He was that fired up. I got the Houston Texans winning this one outright. I got the Texans defense. Incredible. I think Tank Dell coming back what he marks. C.J. Stroud, contract here for him. I see them taking control of this game.
Starting point is 00:37:48 I'm going to put, how many units are right now? I'm at four units. God, I got to look at the rest. Quick potty break. Boom. Lucy, shout out Lucy, no free shoutouts. This is the daily. Espresso is my favorite.
Starting point is 00:38:01 Hands down and that bite and burst hang where it pops in your mouth that hits you with flavor. God, I can't get enough of it. It never gets old. I mostly use it to lock in. Whether I need a little energy boost, pre-workout, post-workout, doesn't matter. It works every which way.

Starting point is 00:38:50 Let's get back to the conversation. I'll put three units on Texas Money Line here. Damn. Wow. Yeah, like Texans' Money Line. I feel I like this game a lot. It's just defense, defense, defense always. And I also love the under. I also love the under.
Starting point is 00:39:08 Imagine you take a big swing in week one. Go three units, parlay the Money Line. Yeah, I'm going to do that. I'm going to go three units. I'm going to go Texans Money Line. The Money Line. That's too small. It's too small, but they got them like seven times when they played them last year in Texas.
Starting point is 00:39:26 I'm going to stick with Money Line Houston Texans. That's it. Three units on that one. All I can say is Jim Leonard or Leonard, how you say his last name? Yeah, that's all you got to say. Leonard, right? Jim Leonard. I just don't want to mess his name up.
Starting point is 00:39:41 Great coach. He ran the number one defense with Denver last year. That is a straight upgrade for the Buffalo defense. That's all I got to say. I think they're going to set. You got CJ. Everyone's saying CJ is the problem. He's the problem.
Starting point is 00:39:54 Great defense going against him, giving them the midst matches, the fake blitzes, the stunts around. I just think that the bills is going to hold this game. Even though it's in Houston, I still think the bills is going to take it. Can't take away from Josh Allen being MVP caliber.
Starting point is 00:40:09 I said it already. So you're going to bills. I'm going bills cover. One and a half, one unit. One unit. So one, one. one one one I like tailing you I like going uh Houston Texas money line will Anderson this defense and again when C.J.
Starting point is 00:40:26 Sherey's got a bad he's got a massive question mark over it said this year but when C.J. sure I was successful he also had a very good running game. You mentioned Woody Marks but also David Montgomery came to town. David Montgomery is going to be a beast. They get the line of scrimmage going. They get the running game going. This defense is there's a couple good defenses that you can say are the best in the league
Starting point is 00:40:46 But this genetic specimen in Will Anderson coming after you, stingly in the back end. I love this defense. And I think, again, they're going to get after Josh Allen's ass. You know, just for a little, I'm not saying the Buffalo Bills are out of it. I got Buffalo Bills going deep this year. But going in Houston playing the Texans, I just, I love this defense. I think they're going to mow him down, shop gravely. And I like one unit on the Houston Texans.
Starting point is 00:41:13 Money line. Come on, Clay. Catch you this. As much success as the Houston Texans had last year, what are the chances that are actually still that good the following year? Like, is it really the world where they kind of take a step back? Because I'm with you. I'm on the Texans. No.
Starting point is 00:41:29 There's no shot. There's no shot that they're not as good. No shot. I love that. I love the confidence. How many units? One. Week one of the NFL.
Starting point is 00:41:39 You don't know what's going to happen. This week one. We have no idea. This is like... One unit. Yeah, one unit. I'm with that. All right. Packers, Vikings.
Starting point is 00:41:48 Wait, Clay. Oh, Clay. You know he's going favor. Moneyline Matthews, Bills, minus two and a half for one unit. Doesn't love the game. What do you mean? The units. It's a, because, yeah, it's a tricky one.
Starting point is 00:42:01 You got two good. Two awesome teams in the AFC. Yeah, that's what I'm saying. Oh, man. Defense versus Josh Allen. I love your call to Jim Leonard, too. I mean, two good defenses, though. I feel like they defense should be okay with Jim, so. Hell, yeah.
Starting point is 00:42:15 We'll see. Hell yes, dude. Hey, because their defense was a problem last year. Hopefully they fixed that. The music you love. I heart radio. Your favorite radio stations. Everywhere you go.

This has been our surviving middle school run, brought to you by the people who spend their careers, about exactly this.
Starting point is 00:47:18 I'm Dr. Joy. Listen to Therapy for Black Girls on the Iheart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcast. NFC North matchup. We got the Packers going out to Minnesota. The line on this game,
Starting point is 00:47:31 Vikings are favored one and a half. A little disbelief. A little non-believing. Wow, it's crazy. We love going out there. Crazy. The over-under on this game, 46 and a half.
Starting point is 00:47:44 This got the mule all over. This one. Where's Clay going? Let's off a more and play money lines going. He's going backers. Moneyline Matthews goes Packers Moneyline. He's taking a Packers. How many units?
Starting point is 00:47:58 Two units. Green Bay up in Minnesota. Season opener in Minnesota. Give me the Vikings. Give me the Vikings. Have you? One. We do it.
Starting point is 00:48:18 right now. Okay, I'll go. Hey, I'll say mine. I'm going to go one unit's on the Vikings money line. I like the Vikings in this game. I don't love what's happened to my boy JJ over there, but Kyler Murray
Starting point is 00:48:34 has an hit factor about him and has an X factor about him. Having Justin Jefferson out there on the outside helps a lot. Addison. T.J. Hawkinson. I think the biggest thing in this game too is
Starting point is 00:48:46 who's running the ball for the Packers. So it's Marshawn Lloyd. Who's going to be, who's going to be Tony the Rock? And to me, that question mark with Josh Jacobs and what he's done for that team and got them as far as I did last year, he's a big piece of that. I think Jordan Love also played exceptionally well. LaFourer is going to have ways to scheme it all up and make it all about. Like, he's a great offensive mind. But I like from a talent standpoint, Kyler Healthy.
Starting point is 00:49:12 There's no call of duty, extra bonus things coming out right now. I like where Minnesota sits week one. A lot of conversation. about do you give up on JJ, do you not? No one's really focused on how successful they can be. I think the NFC North is probably one of my favorite divisions to watch this year. But I like the Vikings minus one half. I can only go one unit.
Starting point is 00:49:31 So I will just go one unit on this game. How many would you go if you could? Probably two or three. Probably three. I probably hit a three piece right down the middle. Why? Because JJ on a team? No, JJ's not in the phone.
Starting point is 00:49:44 I know he's not playing. He's not in the convoy. He's not even in the combo. I like the weapons better on the perimeter. I like Kyler Murray's ability to break, contain it and run and run a little bit. And then it's Josh Jacobs not playing the game, who's been was a safety net for the Packers. And I think that could really hurt them. Now, to argue against myself, it's LaFleur, it's the run game.
Starting point is 00:50:06 It's the scheme. I've seen him on the fourth and fifth tackles at the Tennessee Titans scheme up against the Kansas City Chiefs and win that game. Yeah. So there are the tech. Tucker Kraft is healthy again. Is he going to play this week? Tucker Craft. Yeah, but he's also coming off an ACO.
Starting point is 00:50:21 So it's like, that's a hard working boy right there. I know. Yeah, yeah. He was the best titter in the NFL until he got hurt last year. Yeah. Yeah. So, I mean, I like that team. I like that team in week six, seven, eight. I like him in October.
Starting point is 00:50:35 Right now, I like the Vikings in September. Yeah, but you got Kyler Murray. No double XP going on like you said. No double XP. We're selling. It's early in the year. He's an electric factory. Yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 00:50:43 He's got some studs to throw the ball up to him. He studs. Sunday night football. Cowboys at Giants. I'll let we'll have the floor, but I just want to say, if I could bet 10 units I would on this game. I love the Cowboys minus two and a half here. I love the Cowboys. Wait, did they move the line?
Starting point is 00:51:02 Oh, yeah, in line. Two and a half. Willie? Three units. Okay. Dallas Money Line. Wow. Do you mean Boo?
Starting point is 00:51:18 Week one football, bro. Wow. I like Dallas this year. I've said it on multiple occasions. got Dak as the MVP, big fan of Shadi. I think this O-line, even though Tyler Smith is on IR to start the season, that's kind of a big loss. But again, this O-line, having a second year in this operation, outside of Tyler Smith, they are all healthy. All the weapons, everybody knows about Dak Prescott and all the weapons that he has with CD Lamb, Pickens, Williams in the backfield.
Starting point is 00:51:44 But defensively, too, having a new coordinator, not having Ibuflus there anymore. And all the pieces you have with Rasha and Gary, with Kenny Clark, with Quinn Williams, with overshone. on the second level. D winners coming over from the 49ers. And again, our boy, Caleb Downs, who is that dude, I think Cowboys are going to be good this year, and I think they will,
Starting point is 00:52:06 I think they handle the New York Giants. Little if he, you got Malique neighbors, they got a great pass rush. But yeah, I think they win the game because I like Dallas Money Line, and that's three units. William R. Compton, the third, three units, son. so confident that they'll win by two.
Starting point is 00:52:26 Dude, it's, it's week one. It's the NFL. There's going to be so many games. Prey and Caucasians, Jackson, Dard, Cam Scadaboe, Odell Beckham. We're having 2014 flashbacks taking place right now. You went, I mean, you went Dallas, too, didn't you? Yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 00:52:43 I mean, they got against a foot. But I'm going, I'm going minus two and a half. Like, I love the idea of the Giants. When Scat and Dart and Dart are rolling, It fires me up. I love it. I just think the Dallas Cowboys' offense is not slowing down and the defense can only be better.
Starting point is 00:53:01 They cannot be worse. They can only be better. And all the defense of the players you just said, I think Caleb Downs is defensive rookie of the year this year. I'm a huge fan of his play and I'm a huge fan of everything that's come out of camp. A huge fan of his heart. Yeah, of his heart.
Starting point is 00:53:15 Yeah, he's got great heart. Caleb Downs. Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah. And for Coleman, too, I know you're a Master of Giants fan. I like the Giants this year. I look Coleman in the eyes when I. That's a bet fit.
Starting point is 00:53:23 Yeah. A lot of good talent. Hardball, first year? First year, yeah. New York's got something brewing. I don't think it's going to happen week one. Just a big fan of Shadi. Yeah, I just think it's too early.
Starting point is 00:53:34 Dallas been winning his rivalry lately and getting them in week one before the Giants can get their footing. I just think this is a great opportunity for Dallas to get away with a win here. Yeah. So I got to go Dallas with one unit. To cover? You're staring a minute. Min is minus two and a half. have, yes. Let me add, I'm going to add the over 48.5. So I'm going Cowboys minus two and a half
Starting point is 00:53:59 plus the over 48 and a half. What's your philosophy coming into week one? Because I'm not going to lie, you got me kind of in a corner back against a wall like a wild card's out there on the floor right now. I just think there's so much uncertainty with week one in the NFL. It always, always catches you by surprise and you can't, you can't hang back. You got to swing first. You get the first hit out of the way. Yeah. That's my philosophy on this game right here to where we'll sit here next week and I could be the hero or I could just be at the bottom of a pool right now. Who knows? That's kind of my philosophy.
Starting point is 00:54:29 Because you just keep swimming. Massive difference. There's not a lot of worlds where I come out of this, not a hero or dead. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Where's our boy Clay going? Clay's going giants plus four and a half. Wow. Wow.
Starting point is 00:54:46 One unit, giants plus four and a half. Clay and I could both be right in this game. I kind of wanted him to be off a little bit more than me because we kind of almost had the same picks. I'm thankful for that pick. You thankful for that pick? Yeah, I'm thankful for that pick. Plus four and a half.
Starting point is 00:55:03 He, I don't even got time for Clay right now. Who does? You guys had the same Super Bowl pick. People forget that. I know. That's crazy. So it's good. That's good.
Starting point is 00:55:15 We had a little switch up there. Monday night football. We got Denver. going to Kansas City prime time the line the chiefs are favored by two and a half the total on this game
Starting point is 00:55:27 is 43 and a half Don't overthink the game Delaney, go ahead You already know I'm going Broncos I'm going Broncos because everybody Circle Jerking the Chiefs because Patrick Mahomes Are they circle jerking the Chiefs?
Starting point is 00:55:43 The majority of the world has them third in the division Just to give a little What you're talking about? What? They're, I think their favorites. Yeah. To win the division.
Starting point is 00:55:53 Yes. Are they? Yeah. We had their futures last week and they were number one. They were number one. Follow by the charges in the Broncos. Yeah. Cirque and jerk.
Starting point is 00:56:01 Maybe not in that order. Maybe I'm wrong. But it does feel like, yeah, maybe it's just the circles in the timelines that I'm in. Yeah. If you're the leader. What timeline? What timeline are you looking at? You like the Chiefs?
Starting point is 00:56:23 No, no, Bronco. Okay. Come on now. Stugging the Bronco. Yeah. Year three, Sean Payton, Bo Nix. That's what I'm talking about. Have we gotten caught?
Starting point is 00:56:33 Is Patch of Mahomes playing this game? He is playing in this game. He is. Off in ACL, Kelsey Long on the Tooth, Chris Jones, long on the tooth. I'm gonna hit the under in this game. I think Kenneth Walker is the main factor in this game. For the Chiefs is the first time we've seen a run game at the Chiefs in a long time. the Chiefs in a long time. That's not just like simulated like short passes to make them have a
Starting point is 00:56:52 run game. Year three, Bo, next, Sean Payne. I love that. If I were to go one direction, it would be the Broncos, but I'll take the under in this game. I like that. Both defenses are phenomenal. Our phenomenal. Broncos led with Sacks 68 last year going against a hurt, I mean, limping quarterback. I mean, like videos I saw he was limping out there. I hate to say that about Patrick. because he is one of the goats. Towards ACL. I know, but, hell, those boys gonna get out through him. I can see it now.
Starting point is 00:57:26 One unit. Simmons. So you have six units on the board right now. Six units. One unit on the Broncos. I'm gonna hold my four units. You know, I got a strategy, cuz I didn't go to, I didn't go to class for nothing.
Starting point is 00:57:39 Right. Broncos money line, one unit. Just to be clear. How many units do you leave on the board? I left a couple. He left. He left. Oh, two, okay.
Starting point is 00:57:52 One, two, three, four, five, six. Did I do one three piece? You did a two piece, I thought. You did a three piece on Cowboys. Yeah, so I'll have two units on the board. Two units on a board. We're going to run the football this year. We're going to run the football.
Starting point is 00:58:06 You ran all your units? Yeah, yeah, I have led out to the end. Oh, so you and Clay. But I was being such a greedy little boy that I was even like combo and I was put a little two-leaders together at the end there. And then you, you said a parlay. But one don't hit, you lose. That's how it works always. I'm just making sure you know that, because we had an argument the last time about this situation when we was doing, start doing this.
Starting point is 00:58:30 But this structure kind of clears it up. It's all unit base. He's out there like Jackson Dart right now. Head down. He ain't slide. Right. Who's Jackson Dart? He needs nothing to me.
Starting point is 00:58:38 Uh, Jackson Dart? Yeah. He needs to slide. We need them to stay all year. No, no. All year. All year. All year.
Starting point is 00:58:44 If I see Jackson Dart slide in this game, I'm done with him, dude. And that's called developing. He developed as a starting quarterback. Develop some callous, bro. Get in there, lower the pads. You want them to get hurt. That's why we got cam. I don't want to see that.
Starting point is 00:59:02 We got scatible for that. Let him run people over. Why can't they both do it? All right. Yeah, that's so funny. Let's not parlor. Clay. Clay goes Broncos money line with five exclamation points for two units.
Starting point is 00:59:18 Oh, that's a good pick. He's fired up about that one. Yeah, he loved it. He loved it. Get him again. Get him again. The music you love. I heart radio.

Starting point is 01:00:04 I can wait four hours for the next bus or this random dude is offering me a ride on his motorcycle. I chose option B. I'm Julie Pinero, and I travel by myself because it's a rare space where I can say yes without asking anyone else. first. I'm on a mission to reclaim the word solita, trading the pity for possibility. Every time I tried to be alone, I kept meeting people and they were like, you smiled at us. Not a lot of people smile around here. It's when you're alone that you're most receptive to the world as it is and not the lies you're sold about it. It can be a time where you push your limits, change your mind, or wake up to a new version of yourself. So whether you're a solo travel veteran or
Starting point is 01:00:48 you're too nervous to book your first trip. I hope you listen to Solita on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. Self-care September is here, which means it's time to rethink what self-care actually means. Yes, self-care can be a long walk. It can be in everything shower. It can be putting your phone on Do Not Disturb. But sometimes it's actually about sitting with the uncomfortable stuff. And understanding your patterns, your boundaries, finally figuring out while you keep doing things that you swore you would never do again.
Starting point is 01:01:19 I'm Gemma Spegg, the host of the Psychology of Your 20s podcast, and each week we unpack the psychology behind the experiences that shape your 20s, from relationships and friendships to money, anxiety, confidence, attachment, just becoming more comfortable with who you are. Unlike the quarter life crisis, which is depicted as the collapse, the quarter life reinvention is the expansion and growth of something. When we develop the ability to be happy by ourselves, nobody else can take that from you. So this self-care September, don't just be. take care of yourself, get to know yourself as well. Listen to the Psychology of Your 20s on the IHart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. Our town is small taters by most standards, right? But to the people who grew up here, it's everything.
Starting point is 01:02:06 What happens when a quiet Tennessee town becomes the front line in a battle over the future of America? Developers with right-wing ties have purchased hundreds of acres of land in the area. The first thing you see when it pops up is pioneers in Appalachians. But they weren't just planning houses. We need cities on a shining hill that exemplify and embody the Christian way of life. Stop right there. Is that normal? A podcast about what happens when a small town becomes the site of a social experiment. God need men to rule. Great.
Starting point is 01:02:38 And decides to fight back. Do not use my hard work to sell your bullshit. They're not just opposing what's being planned for here. Our hometown is not a test to.
Starting point is 01:03:08 Middle School is a different world than the one we grew up in. I'm Dr. Joy, and this is therapy for black girls. We spend real time on it in our surviving middle school run, bringing in a child psychologist and a psychiatrist who's raising two black girls of his own to talk about what's really going on with our kids right now. So it's literally physiological and neurological and psychological and psychological chaos happening all this same time. We got into group chats and gaming, friendships and bullying, and how to tell the difference
Starting point is 01:03:37 between healthy monitoring and the kind of surveillance that erodes trust. There's belonging. You could think of belonging as I can be myself and I can still be accepted. And then there's fitting in. Spitting in says I have to change who I am in order to avoid rejection. Then we turn the conversation toward the fathers, sitting down with therapists Keir Gaines on Black fatherhood
Starting point is 01:03:58 and what it means to raise a daughter through this stage. You don't have on shorts, so you can't do flips, you have on the dressy, up across your legs. That's the range of this run, from screen time to identity to the father's doing the work at home. You have to get off her device, but the reality is there's a lot of life out there
Starting point is 01:04:13 that we don't want you as your adults in their life to miss out on. This has been our surviving middle school run, brought to you by the people who spend their careers thinking about exactly this. I'm Dr. Joy. Listen to Therapy for Black Girls on the Iheart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcast.
Starting point is 01:04:33 We interrupt this episode because we are presented by Ford. A hard day's work starts with one thing. Someone willing to do it. And where there's a will, there's a Ford F-Series truck. The F-150 and Super Duty put capability where it belongs in your hands. And to help you tow what the job demands, power through the day's work, Take on the task in front of you and what you never saw coming.
Starting point is 01:04:55 Determination shows up wherever you do, and so does your truck. Visit Ford.com or your local Ford dealer for more information. Ready, set Ford. Built Ford Tough. Parles. I don't, I want everyone to take this to great assault. I love my parlay. I love it.
Starting point is 01:05:16 I think it's, there's no guarantees in life. But I love this right here. here you see that do you mind if I read it to you that shit is crazy you can't read that yeah I saw it's crazy all you saw is the number at the bottom okay yes it is a four-figure parlay but we're here to get units are we not we're here to get units you're here to get units you ain't slide no for a dodger first pick of my parley Texans money line hmm thank you bears minus three mm appreciate y'all Lamar Jackson over 200 yards passing.
Starting point is 01:05:53 Mm. Yep, that's three. Joe Burrow, over 200 yards passing. I can see that one. That's four. Bejohn Robinson over 70 rushing yards.
Starting point is 01:06:04 I see that. That's five. Cowboys, minus two and a half. Hmm. That is for a whopping plus 1,971. Dude, that is crazy.
Starting point is 01:06:19 Mine is nice. Nice little six. That is a crazy week one joint. Sorry, dude. You're an inspiration to me. It's like don't meet your heroes. All of a sudden I come in here, you're no longer getting units.
Starting point is 01:06:33 Who? You. Go ahead and read that little, dinky-ass parlay. I'll tell you starting to get here. You do got a rinky dink part of it. It's a week one joint. Week one joint.
Starting point is 01:06:43 Yeah. I got to make an audible. I'm switching one money line. My money line at the top is going to be for the finale. Alley is going to be Money Line Denver. Going Denver Money Line. Clay got you?
Starting point is 01:06:56 No, no, no, no. I just, I feel better about, I feel better about Denver Money Line than I do Houston, Texas money line. Fair. So I'm swapping that out because I had Texas Money Line, but I'm going to go, I'm going Denver Money Line, Jaguar's Money Line against the Browns. I'm moving the line. I'm taking an alt line in the total of the Cowboys Giants game.
Starting point is 01:07:16 I'm going to go under 55 and a half. And then Jemir Gibbs on rushing and receiving, I'm taking the over on that and it's at 118 and a half yards. Ooh. Give me those odds. Plus 510. Oh, I mean. It's in the plus 500s because again, this one has Texans money line. Okay.
Starting point is 01:07:37 I don't have the Denver one in there, but the lines are similar. So I'm guessing it's the same. I mean, that might be more than that. Could be more. Yeah, it is more. Rockos are plus 120. The Texans are plus 102. Yeah, better.
Starting point is 01:07:48 Better than plus by 10. All right, Delaney. I mean, like I- out for us, buddy. Like I say, guys, week one, getting your feet wet. For all you guys out there who like getting units,
Starting point is 01:07:59 you follow the mule, okay? The mule's going to get you some units. And this is one of those, no, I ain't going to say it's a for sure hitter because I don't want you call it. I can't say it. Responsible gaming. Yeah, responsible game.
Starting point is 01:08:11 Don't call me. But you responsibly love this one. Call Will and Taylor. I do love it. So I'm going, Chargers, money line versus the Cardinals, Eagles, money line versus the commanders, Jaguars, money line versus the Browns. And that pays out plus 105. But look, look, time, time, time. Yeah, yeah, yeah. And for you guys that's out there who want to get a Thursday night in,
Starting point is 01:08:43 If you want to add that in or switch one out, Rams versus the 49ers, Rams, money line. Short week. Still plus 105. No, it's not. Oh, it's not. No, it's not. It's not. I don't know what it is.
Starting point is 01:08:59 It might have some plus threes. If you add that in there. If you add it in, I'm telling you, because it's a short week, it goes up. Short week, it's the first one of year. I mean, it's a short week. It's a short week. For them, because you didn't hear, did you see the interview for them? It's a Monday.
Starting point is 01:09:17 This, but I don't even know how to repeat it. What he said. He said something. He said something crazy. He was like, today is Monday for us, which is Sunday back home in the future. Yeah. So it's a short week. It's a short week.
Starting point is 01:09:32 You're living in the future? They are. That's crazy. You're a poet. I'll try to do. I mean, I need to hear Moneyline Matthews, Paul. Yeah, yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:09:40 And he calls. And he calls this one the 2468, Who Do We Appreciate Parlay, which is Baker Mayfield over two passing TDs. Joe Burrow over two passing Tories, Trevor Lawrence, over two passing TDs, Jared Goff, over two passing TDs. And that pays out at plus 627. That's a good parlay. It's a good parlay. It's a good parlay. Yeah, it's a strong parlay.
Starting point is 01:10:07 Yeah, it's a great one. I'll be betting every single one of these parlias. Really? It's week one. I like it. Why not? Yeah, sprinkle, something but opportunity out there. And remember, guys, that's one unit.
Starting point is 01:10:16 We put one unit on all our parlays out there, so. I wish you're gonna put more. Be responsible. Be responsible. I love my parlay. You keep saying it like you try to convince yourself. No, when I'm looking at it, I'm just like, because I haven't been hurt yet.
Starting point is 01:10:32 I haven't sat there in the week four, I mean, like, I can't believe I've done myself this whole. I'm in total optimistic mode of week one. I'm like, maybe this is the year I find. finally see everything so clearly and I truly have a crystal ball on hand and it feels that way I mean it sound like you sound real confident yeah that's a big boy that'd put on my head in units if he hit that joint yeah I mean he's guys using up all of his units out there I'm talking about that parlay just that parley it'd be crazy yeah yeah yeah it's my money and I want it now I yeah oh yeah
Starting point is 01:11:04 yeah I like that what will show is that jG went worth yeah yeah yeah 877 7-7 cash no This go-for-it segment of the locker room is presented by Jack Daniels. Bold calls, bold moves. When they go for it, you go for Jack. Let's get into the go-for-it segment. Jack Daniels, go-for-it segment. What are you going for this week in week one? Oh, my God.
Starting point is 01:11:26 There's a lot of things I want to go for. There's got to be week one or just some. What do you feel right now? Like, what are you going for this weekend? Justin Herbert, MVP. Oh, wow. In week one, it's done. No, this is just in general.
Starting point is 01:11:46 In general. In general. I'm holding it. I'm holding them down. I told y'all what I felt about the charges. Justin Herbert is going. I told you he was the top five last year. The year before then, this year is his year.
Starting point is 01:12:02 I'm going to say week one, Kyler Murray throws for over 300 yards and three touchdowns against the that ain't. That's not a really go for it. Why ain't that to go for? He got dogs on the outside. That's easy. They're underdogs.
Starting point is 01:12:16 So Bennett. He's going for it. Yeah, I'm going for it. He's going for it right now. I'm confused. What did you happen? The Go Ford Segment, like something that we feel confident about, underdog Vikings, Kyler Murray, over 300 passing yards and three touchdowns in week one.
Starting point is 01:12:34 We all picked the Vikings to win. Yeah, but we didn't say player prop. You guys are both right. You guys both did a great job. These are both writing did a great job. Jack Daniels go for it segment. A team that said we weren't going to talk about on the show. I'm not going to talk about.
Starting point is 01:12:48 I'm going to go for it. Tennessee Titans, week one against the Jets. I see Cam Ward. Go for it. Over two and a half touchdowns. And the Titans splatter. There will be a Josh Pate-S tweet. Splattering is taking place with the Tennessee Titans.
Starting point is 01:13:04 They are going to win that game by a lot. Let's say over 10 points. That's my go for it. Shout the Tensiezer Titans. Preseason didn't look great. They're in the bushes. Lurking, dude. That's definitely.
Starting point is 01:13:17 A question for Delaney Walker. Your futures MVP was Drake May, so what has changed for me? How did he play at the ball? Hey, look, that was... He's got a few Super Bowl champions out there. Now he's got a couple MVP. You know, y'all know how it go. At the end, it changes as we go.
Starting point is 01:13:33 My futures, I feel confident about those boys, but then, you know, when I went home after I did that take, I was just like, man. man, I left a lot on the table, you know. I left a lot on the table. And I didn't ride with my dog. Did not ride with my dog, Justin. So I had to make it loud and clear MVP.
Starting point is 01:13:54 Do we ever ripping with the boys probably? The good news is it's a futures pick. You can have a couple of MVP sitting out there on the sport. That's what I'm saying. Yeah. That's how you do it, right? You bet on multiple cats. That's why you win.
Starting point is 01:14:07 Don't bet on one. unless you want to no I mean bad on multiple they give you the option if it's in the if it's in the sports book it's in the sports book right yeah yeah yeah I'm with you yeah all right boys get out here huh great show see you next week great show appreciate with Delaney
