Starting point is 00:00:00 Ladies gentlemen, welcome into another episode of the locker room. It is week 16 of the NFL. Got a great slate of games to you guys, all right? Let's take a look at the standings for a moment. Moneyline Matthews, still sitting at that number one spot, 47.
Starting point is 00:00:24 Respect to my boy, Kenny Put him back in high school. I'm sitting there in the second place. I'm sitting there in the second place. Hall of Fame career for Batten 500. And now a crazy turn of events is taking place. A couple weeks ago, we looked at Delaney and go, ain't no way he's coming back. And he's just every week in the last month,
Starting point is 00:00:40 has just been going up and up and up. Him and Will Compton are tied for last place. If you're looking at it through Delaney's eyes, they're tied for podium third place. We have a great show for you guys today. Please subscribe. Please leave a comment. Let's have a hell of a day.
Starting point is 00:01:13 This is an I-Heart podcast. Guaranteed Human. Hey guys, it's us. The Jonas Brothers. I'm Joe. I'm Kevin. And I'm Nick. And guess what?

We got game on Sunday. There's a proper boost token for both. We're all giving out plenty of picks, but maybe you've been seeing the board all season and want to stick to your guns.

Starting point is 00:03:42 Delaney. Just last week we were talking about a guy. guy about to take you out in the parking lot, the Titans facility. Yeah, you're 5 and 1. Yeah, you know. I've been doubted my whole life, man, you know. Oh, don't start with this. I put on my shoes one foot at a time.
Starting point is 00:04:03 Yep, just like everybody else. Just like I make my bets one day at a time. And as you see. You're making six today. And as you see, I don't fall last. Did you take it personal when you saw the world clamoring about Moneyline Matthew? and all the success he was having, moving the lines and stuff like that,
Starting point is 00:04:21 thinking I was the original guy of that, and now you've come back into the fold. I mean, that crossed my mind. That crossed my mind. But he actually made it him. So I'm happy for it. Some fans even said, then you used to take all money lines.
Starting point is 00:04:40 I'm like, no, that's Matthew. That's the money line militia. Money line militia. I feel like we're sitting out, like two boxers about to fight and they're always being really complimented to each other. He's great lesson, great competitor. I love what he's doing out there. Yeah, yeah, until you, you know, we get on stage and knuckle it up.
Starting point is 00:04:59 Oh, so you guys are about to. No, no, no, you're Jake Paul? No, I'm not Jake Paul. You're Jake Paul. I can't fight that. I am white. I am bad. I am bad.
Starting point is 00:05:10 I am bad. No, I think me and Matthew have been on the same page all year. be honest with you. In what way? I mean, our bets are similar. We make the same points. Yeah. We kind of fade y'all to be honest with y'all.
Starting point is 00:05:30 We were even talking about getting our own show. Listen, I respect that. I respect the climb that you've had, but you're still sitting below me. Are you right? You're right. I mean, it's early. It's December. It's the fourth quarter.
Starting point is 00:05:46 It's early. early. We got playoffs. We got playoffs. We got playoffs. All right, dude, fuck it. You know. I'm stoked for you.
Starting point is 00:05:56 You know, they're good people. How you feel about your picks this week? Oh, great. Getting your first 6 and 0 week? You know, I don't want to jinx it, but it smells like it. Yeah. Yeah, yeah. Smell.
Starting point is 00:06:08 Yeah. Biggest winners of the weekend were the ones who faded Willie C. Ooh. You fade Willie C, you're 6 and 0. Yeah. Yeah. Hey, what took place here? I look at 0 and 6 right there, and I think to myself, sometimes great success comes with great sacrifice.
Starting point is 00:06:29 My goal of mine, I've been telling people for years how the Kansas City Chiefs were going to make the playoffs in 2025. And for me to do that, I realized last week that I had to pick. I had to pick the Chiefs to see it fall for good. and now I'm realizing that going 0 and 6 was also a necessary a necessary sacrifice for everything to kind of align and for the Chiefs to be knocked out of the playoffs.
Starting point is 00:06:55 So that is how I've wrapped my brain around this 0 and 6 start. You did it for the greater good in your opinion. The greater good. Your vision of NFL America is coming to light and it just took you having to go over there. Yeah, if I ask myself, Will, would you go winless and all of your bets for the Chiefs to stay out of the playoffs? And my answer is yes.
Starting point is 00:07:14 So I would have that same record again if it meant keeping the Chiefs out of the playoffs. How do you feel sitting there, right now it says fourth, but you're tied with Delaney for last place? Delaney's been on a heater and you just went 0 and 6. Is there a fear starting to creep in the back of your head that, oh, maybe I end up at the bottom of this when it's all said and done?
Starting point is 00:07:33 No. There's no fear at all. No, there's a lot of ball left. Yeah. But it's also the fourth quarter, according to Delaney. Yeah. Yeah, we're in the fourth quarter. Four's up.
Starting point is 00:07:41 Like, hey, look around. Ain't nobody coming to save you. Definitely. Either you're the problem or you're the solution. Right now we're solution oriented. So there's a lot of ball left. There's no time for fear or doubt. Okay.
Starting point is 00:07:53 It's attack. It's kill mode. Yeah. On this board this weekend. Have you been only six before? No. I think this is my first, whether it be undefeated or winless, I think. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:08:09 We made history this weekend. Chiefs are out, 0 and 6? It's harder to go. This is the first time someone has went 0 and 6? It's harder to go 0 and 6 than it is 5 and 1. I don't know. He said the same thing to me when I went 0 and 6. I think it went 0.6.
Starting point is 00:08:29 No, he said it's the first time someone in 06. It's first time. History's been made. I'm talking about Delaney's 5-1 record made history this weekend. No, I've been 5 and 1 multiple times. Yeah, that ain't. You ain't setting no record. I'm setting records.
Starting point is 00:08:45 Harder to go 0 and 6 than 5 and 1. Yes. Yeah, you're right. I had to think about that. Clay, how you feel? You get your Bealabasi sweater on? Yeah, feeling comfortable. You sent a little parlay to the group chat right before the show starts.
Starting point is 00:09:02 Oh, right, you thought up. Looked at it. A lot of money lines in there. Hey, three for three last week. I don't even did I, I think I might have picked the charges money line. The money line's always hit for me, so we're getting back to the bread and butter. Did the parlay, the money line, did the Matthew's Parlay hit last week? Packers.
Starting point is 00:09:18 The Packers, they're Packers. What bugs me is we just have momentum with this Money Line militia. No, we still got momentum because my, I bet the spread. I didn't bet the money line. So when I bet the money line... Then you also fit the audience your Parlay. You're like, this is... I'll pick the spreads for the show and you're like,
Starting point is 00:09:34 I still got the Parlay. That's the problem of Parlay is, man. You lose one, you lose it all. You lose it all. Yeah. But... That's my Packers, man. They had it.
Starting point is 00:09:44 2413. Well, hold on now. You had no problem going against him a few recent. I'm going against him a few weeks ago. I didn't go against him. I bet this spread. Remember? I said, you're going to win, but I'm betting the spread.
Starting point is 00:09:55 And guess, no, I went, I went to be over. You ended up checking your number. You was going Chicago plus six and a half or something like that. And then you realized looking at your note, but you know what? I took the over in this game. I'm glad I looked at my notes because I had to think about it at home. But I feel good about this week. I got a nice little five-leg money line I'm going to send out to America.
Starting point is 00:10:17 Just to make a little money. This is a little plus 500. Nothing big. Nothing big. Christmas money. Conservative. Conservative. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:10:25 Like you do your holiday parlay. Yeah. These are the closest thing to guarantees that I can guarantee are these money lines. So I can't wait. But for the show's sake, I'll bet the spread. We'll laugh. We'll have a good time. But if you want to win money.
Starting point is 00:10:41 Of course. Which is what we're on here to do. Hey, money line. Should we get into it? Let's get into it. First game. Who are we talking about this first game? The first game we're talking about is two teams that Will Confidence is very high on.
Starting point is 00:10:54 We're up this episode of bring you Form Energy. Form Energy delivers best in class taste with natural flavors and zero sugar. Form Energy has natural caffeine derived from green tea. Form comes in a variety of flavors. They have screaming freedom, rocket pop inspired, grape smash, blue blitz, orange fury. Starting point is 00:11:15 Hey, it's us, the Jonas Brothers. And guess what? We have some big news. What's the news, new? Huge news. We created our own podcast called Hey Jonas. We invented a podcast? Well, we didn't invent it.
Starting point is 00:11:25 We just contributed to it. We're the first people to do podcasts. Pretty, yeah, pretty wide range of podcasts around there. But this one's extra special. So how do we actually come up with a name, Hey Jonas, guys? I honestly don't remember. I think it was on a call about what we should call it. Well, we were thinking I'm originally calling it one of the early names of our band
Starting point is 00:11:47 Before Jonas Brothers, this is how you guys remember it going down? Yes. I have a very different memory of this. We were talking about a thing, a bit for the podcast, people could call in and say, hey, Jonas. And then I wrote down on my little notepad, Hey Jonas, and offered it up as a potential title for the podcast.
Starting point is 00:12:04 But thanks for remembering that, guys. Listen to Hey Jonas on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcast. Just listen. We don't care where you hear it. Last night, a blown call changed a game. This morning, lost its mind. Highlights are trending, opinions are flying, and nobody's telling you exactly what happened. That's where Sports Slice comes in. I'm Timbo. Every episode, we're cutting through the
Starting point is 00:12:27 noise, breaking down the plays, the controversies, and the stories behind the headlines. We go straight to the source, the athlete themselves, their locker room stories, their reactions, the stuff nobody gets to hear. The laughs, the drama, the triumphs, the moments that never make the highlight reel. Starting point is 00:13:05 The French Open is one of the toughest tests in tennis. And I know firsthand because I competed there myself. I'm Renee Stubbs. And on the Renee Stubbs' tennis podcast, I'm breaking down. down everything happening at Roland Garris. Every match, every upset, and what it really takes to win on Clay. Jen she went. I mean, she went down at three to Rabakina, but I'm delighted.
Starting point is 00:13:29 She's an outsider to win the French for me. And she likes Clay. Listen, Lina Rabakina is arguably the best player in the world right now. And I actually can win on any surface. Because if she's serving, well, good luck. Consider this your court side seat to the French Open. Listen to the Renee Stubbs Tennis Podcast on the IHuff. Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.
Starting point is 00:13:50 Presented by Capital One, founding partner of IHeart Women's Sports. I know, I'm in another tough spot. The Jaguars, the Jaguars. Oh, that's number one? Are playing at the Broncos. Broncos are favorite minus three, total points. They gave us 45 and a half points. I kind of set it up this way.
Starting point is 00:14:07 This is Will's sneaky AFC team versus AFC West. But it seems like Brits pretty much locked up at this point, yeah? Then winning the West? Broncos are going to win the West. Yeah. So we'll give it to you. Under. I'm going under 45 and a half. What you're laughing at?
Starting point is 00:14:31 Hey, but Trevor Lawrence. Trevor Lawrence been bawling. Through five times. Boney's been bowling. Ballin. This one screams over. That was like, you told me with the Bears Packers pick. He said, oh, it screams under and guess what?
Starting point is 00:14:44 It went over. So you're reverse psychology here? Possibly. But I'm also 0 and 6. Maybe this is what the people need. Like, all right, Fade Willie C. You know what I'm? You know what I mean? Because I'm in the same, I'm in the same predicament mentally
Starting point is 00:14:56 with thinking about Trevor Lawrence and Bo Nix. Bo Nicks coming alive. Bo Nicks playing some really good football. Trevor Lawrence, he has been bawling. Nobody wants to talk about the Jaguars right now. Everybody refuses to just bring up the Jaguars. They want to talk about, oh, Justin Herbert putting up 16 points, the Chargers defense, the Buffalo Bills, who's another team? The Houston Texans in their defense.
Starting point is 00:15:20 Broncos massive win over the Packers, all these the AFC teams, but everybody forgets that Jacksonville right now is sitting at 10 and 4 and they're playing great football. Like their defense, they're top in the run game. Their defense is nasty. Turnover, they're opportunistic. Trevor Lawrence is balling. Like nobody's bringing up.
Starting point is 00:15:36 Everybody's talking about, you know, Shanahan. It was stiking at one point in time. Another, bring up more coaches a year. Rable. Ben Johnson, him and his first job as a head coach, his first year with the Chicago Bears. Beak girl. Nobody peaking. No.
Starting point is 00:15:52 He tried to. But nobody's talking about Liam Cohen. Like Liam Cohen and Trevor Lawrence, like they're locked in right now. I want to say ETN came out. I was like, I won the national title with Trevor Lawrence. And this is a different level that I'm seeing with Trevor Lawrence right now. Liam Cohen's tapping into Trevor Lawrence's potential, which is a high potential. Everybody's talked about how he's big.
Starting point is 00:16:11 He can throw it. He can do all these things. He has a high ceiling. But he hasn't really tapped into it over the years. He goes in Liam Cohen, who was the OC for the Buccaneers last year, Baker Mayfield is in every MVP conversation. because statistically he was at the top of the charts everywhere. You see kind of what's happened this year.
Starting point is 00:16:26 I know a lot of injuries have been plaguing the buccaneers. But the common denominator between both of these situations has been Liam Cohen. So it's hard to pick this game on who's going to win out of Jacksonville and the Broncos. My heart's getting kind of tugged at because the Jaguars have been the sneaky AFC team for me all year. Broncos have always loved Boe Nixon what the Broncos are doing. So I'm going to go with under, under 45 and a half. When everything screams over, go under. Defense.
Starting point is 00:16:54 Just went up to 46.5. Under 46.5. Wow. And I don't think that's going to hit. I just... What the... I'm sorry. Listen, when you get in this fog with the 0 and 6
Starting point is 00:17:12 and I'm like, man, everything kind of says over right here. Like a lot of good offensive ball coming along. I just got on the pedestal. Bo Nix, four touchdowns. Liam Cohen, Trevor Lawrence. It's like, these offenses are operating a little bit more now. What about their defenses, though? But what about them defenses?
Starting point is 00:17:28 It's just a defense, especially Denver being at home with that defense. Two top ten defenses going at it? Yeah, trust your eyes. It's like when you played inside backer. You can't get fooled by all of Fugazi from all the smoking mirrors. You've got to believe it. You've done it a thousand times. You've seen it.
Starting point is 00:17:42 Repetition. You've done it in practice. So bet how you want to bet and believe it. Don't start saying, oh, they're going to hit over and I'm going under. What do you feel like it's going? to me. You're trying to throw some lobs of wood. That was incredible.
Starting point is 00:17:58 What we were just watching was a... Under 46 and a half! Under 46 and a half! We were just watching a guy fall apart in front of her eyes, and you took him and pulled him up. That's leadership. That's what... That's what green dot leaders do to the subordinates.
Starting point is 00:18:11 They bring them back into the back. Oh, whoa. And you can't just disrespecting me like that. No, I was just letting you know, I was like... Subordinates. I meant Will linebacker. Mike. I'm just bringing it.
Starting point is 00:18:22 We just work together. Listen, the times that you had to play inside backer, if Willie C was on that team, you would have got to keep your hand in the dirt. And you'd be having more of a resume for this Hall of Fame career because you would have got to continue to rush the passer.
Starting point is 00:18:32 You wouldn't have had to put on the green dot. Willie C would have had your back. You're absolutely right, brother. We should have brought you in. No applause there, huh, fella? I wasn't even listening. I didn't even listen. He just said, well,
Starting point is 00:18:50 as a green dot as man. And Wills just gets fucking, he sees red dude. It's like a bull. No, it was the subordinate words. Subordinate, support it. Supportant. Supportant sounds way better than subordinate. Subordinate.
Starting point is 00:19:03 When he said subordinate. Below. Sir, yes, sir. Can we get back? Yeah. I just feel like after watching this game, especially with my interest in the Packers this last week, then playing the Broncos,
Starting point is 00:19:18 watching Bow Nix, what he was capable of doing, And I think if he can continue to play like that, they're the best team in the NFL. And as much as I have given him flack as well as the Jaguars, two teams, so I'm waiting. And I'm guilty of this. I've been waiting for them to flop a little bit. I mean, Jaguars 10 and 4.
Starting point is 00:19:36 And now Broncos are an 11-game winstreet. But I just feel like they are going to Denver, as you stated, Delaney. Like, I just think they have so much momentum. They have so much belief. The defense is playing incredible. And now you got Bow Nicks and you beat a great Packers team. Like, I think momentum. Lenham is sky high, go wrap up that number one seed.
Starting point is 00:19:54 And I think they get it done with this. I think they cover this game at minus three over the Jags. Okay. Yeah, I like that. I mean, I mean, I like that, you know. The Broncos, yeah, they are favorite. But if you look at against the spread, Jack DeVille is way better than the Broncos.
Starting point is 00:20:14 The Broncos haven't been consistent against the spread. So that gives me value right now with the Jaguars. to going up there and upsetting them, taking the win, because I may swing that money line, but I may not. Oh. So by the end of the show, what do you think? No, no. We'll circle back.
Starting point is 00:20:31 No, no. So look, the Jaggs right now, it's going to be tough because I'm sitting out here. If you feel like the Broncos is going to get it done, which they're a very good team, go out there and play their very best game against the Jaguars. And the Jaguars don't, or the Jaguars will play the very best game. Take Jaguars plus six and a half. Because that's what I'll be doing.
Starting point is 00:20:52 But if you don't believe in that, take the Broncos three plus minus three and you'll have a safe bet there. But if you following this guy right here, units. Yep. Because that's what I get is units. Big unit. You're going to take the Jaguar six and a half. Does it give you pause at all that the Broncos are 10 and two in one score games? Nope.
Starting point is 00:21:12 They have a seven game home winning streak right now. That's why I'll say six and a half. Six and a half. That's just one. Let's pull up to seven and a half if you're going to. I should have listened to you the last time. I should have listened to you last time. Seven and a half.
Starting point is 00:21:26 Yeah. The Patriots plus seven and a half. I should have listened to you the last time. Wow. Look at that. We're working together. That's the lady's leader. I'm taking Jaguars plus seven and a half.
Starting point is 00:21:38 Hey. Hey. Hey. He just green dotted the hell out of you. No, I'm taking Jaguars plus seven and a half. I love it. No, no, you do what you told. Wow.
Starting point is 00:21:48 Wow. No, I should have listened to my man. He gave me an Alioop, and I didn't take it last week. And if I did, I would have been six and O. He'd given me another one. See, y'all don't see it that way. I feel it. I love the way you said owls, man.
Starting point is 00:22:03 I love hell of every vow. You've got to hit that owls. I'll put a fucking O here. I don't even give a shit. There's no doubt no one's talking about the Jaguars. And I think for most of the year, everyone's looked at the Broncos. And they've been just, like, quietly winning games. You know, when they lost to the Colts, it was a crazy call.
Starting point is 00:22:19 But after the Broncos beat the Packers, I think they've now come into the light or everyone's like, oh, is this a real contender? Is Bo Nix? Is he the guy that's going to take them in his second year to go win a Super Bowl? And everyone's kind of getting on the Broncos train, which can be seen as rat poison, to my opinion. Jaguars are still in that world of no one's really talking about us. The AFC South is kind of like the fourth of the four divisions and the AFC.
Starting point is 00:22:43 Well, the AFC South comes up. It's all Houston, Texas. Right, it's all Houston, Texas. Are you right? Trevor Lawrence is Bond. He's had 10, he's accounted for 10 touchdowns and zero, zero interceptions in his last three games. Like, he's hitting a new level. And I love, I love the idea of the Jaguars coming in quietly to Denver, when it might be a foregone conclusion to most,
Starting point is 00:23:03 that the Broncos are just going to win this game because they handle the great Packers team. And they were able to get into a shootout mode, which we couldn't, we didn't think that the Broncos really do, and end up winning. That's why I kind of like the Jags here to cover. I like the Jags to quietly come in, silent assassin, go into Mile High Stadium. and handle business. So I'll take them plus three. Smart guy. Very smart guy.
Starting point is 00:23:28 We got to talk about this one. Steelers at the Lions. Clay, I need you to break down some of this Steelers stuff to me. With your boy Aaron Rogers. Yeah, yeah. Lions favorite in this game, minus six and a half.
Starting point is 00:23:37 The over under on this game is 51.5. Detroit, it's at Detroit. I don't know what to think about this damn Steelers team, bro. But you know what to think about the Lions. We said last week that it was going to be a shootout. travel out west. Yeah. They start fast.
Starting point is 00:23:52 Golf looks good. Amon Ross, St. Brown. They get out to a lead. But then second game in a row, they give up 500 yards. The Rams take off. They give up 20 unanswered points. We talked about the defense being the liability with the injuries they have back there. So I think you know what you're getting from the Lions.
Starting point is 00:24:10 They're going back home. Steelers traveling to them. So now that I know what the Lions give me over here, which is amazing offense, production and points, especially at home, It's the Steelers. They looked good. They looked good versus Miami, but they should have looked good.
Starting point is 00:24:29 Miami looked terrible. T.J. Watt had to have been sick in his hospital bed with his collapsed long, just watching Tua give up sacks. I watched that from home saying, shit, I can get off the couch like Philip Rivers and go get me a couple of sacks. Maybe just one. But I don't know. I mean, like you heard Aaron after the game talk about there's belief starting to set in.
Starting point is 00:24:49 They're stacking these wins. They got another big one. The Ravens coming up that they can separate themselves. But I don't see him getting it done this week. I just, I think the lines are too much offensively. And the Steelers outside of D.K. Matt Calf, they don't, they, they only rush for like 33 yards on the ground. Now, he was a dog on that one touchdown. He had D.K.
Starting point is 00:25:11 But for the most part, I just, I don't think they have enough offensive firepower to keep up with the lions. So I like the lions covering that minus six and a half. It's also bizarre, too, like the Steelers shutting down the run game with the Miami Dolphins. They're like a top three rushing attack, and they just shut it down. All of a sudden, the Steelers, the steel curtain shows up and shuts down a run game. And I just, I don't know what to think when it comes to the Pittsburgh Steelers. Now I'm thinking to my head, they've rattled two in a row, two big wins for them. When a few weeks ago, we're talking about Tomlin, the fire conversation that happens every year.
Starting point is 00:25:43 Right. Now that they're two in a row. The mutual part of the way. This feels like the spot where now they drop a bad game. They perform bad. I don't know. And then that conversation goes back up. You know what I'm saying?
Starting point is 00:25:52 No, I don't. I'm saying just with the Pittsburgh Steelers. They always seem to win games when they're just fully counted out, like when everybody's off the train with the Steelers. And then the Tomlin stuff comes up. Then they rattle off wins. And it's like, man, we should have ever been talking about that. And then they lose the game.
Starting point is 00:26:08 They're not supposed to lose. Or they lose in a fashion of which they're not supposed to lose it. Because obviously the Lions are a good football team. Good football team, but they also five and five. Yeah. In the last 10, like they're a team that I think we have this thought because the last two years, they're both double-digit, had double-digit wins under their belt at this point in the season and 23 and 24.
Starting point is 00:26:27 And we're still kind of waiting for that to show up. But like, they're 500 in their last 10. So the inconsistencies we're seeing with the Steelers are the same inconsistencies that we're seeing with the Lions. And me personally, I think if I'm looking at both teams that are inconsistent right now, who am I going to lean on? It's going to be Dan Campbell. It's going to be the Lions. Like, yeah, you know, Steelers, like, as inconsistent as they have been on the defensive side of the ball. They have 24 takeaways that's third in the NFL.
Starting point is 00:26:53 And they have the potential to be one of those great defenses. But I, like, this is one of those games to me that I, like, I look at on my sports, but I kind of like lean back and stay away from because the line is big and both teams have been inconsistent. But since we're on the show, like, I sit there. I'm like, well, the lions are going at home. They said a devastating loss to the Rams. So let me take the Lions. Let me take the lines. I'm going to take the line.
Starting point is 00:27:16 Sorry, sorry. I'm doing a lot. Minutes six and a half. This feels like a money lying game. Oh, it is. Oh, okay. That's one of that.
Starting point is 00:27:24 Yeah. I saw your parlay and I'm like, I'm a mess with. It's a good parlay. Let me actually double check because there's one I want to make sure. It's a good parlay. I threw the Texans in there, just a sprinkle. Sprinkle the Lodge on that.
Starting point is 00:27:35 Just sprinkle. It's only, it's only, it's only five games. We'll get to that. Yeah. At the end, I'm going to put it out there. Maybe the handle can put it out there. for the viewers. I mean, you saw what the Steelers did against the Dolphins.
Starting point is 00:27:48 I feel like you can see Arthur Smith doing a little bit more in the offense, getting John New back in the backfield that he had him in Atlanta that he was doing and he finally started doing it in Pittsburgh. He had a rushing touchdown. I think it's just them starting to do different things, get people to ball, give them chances to make plays in their hands. And I see that being exciting for the Steelers right now, man. I'm actually taking Steelers this game.
Starting point is 00:28:11 Steelers plus six and a half? Yep. I'm gonna go lions to cover. Cover, cover, cover. Steelers. But that's the man right now. It is. Let's go, man.
Starting point is 00:28:24 Nicole Boltra? Superior bragging rights for Superior Liberia. Now, what is the record right now? Eight and seven. I'm eight and seven. I believe I'm eight and seven. I think we're tied. You think we're tied?
Starting point is 00:28:39 Let's just go with. Rock, who are to shoot. Ah! Superior is with them. Oh, that you're getting it. He beat the fart out of me, man. Superior Limeon. Hey, it's us, the Jonas Brothers, and guess what?
Starting point is 00:28:59 We have some big news. What's the news, Nick? Huge news. We created our own podcast called, Hey, Jonas. We invented a podcast? Well, we didn't invent it. We just contributed to it. We're the first people to do podcasts.
Starting point is 00:29:10 Pretty, yeah, pretty wide range of podcasts throughout there. But this one's extra special. So how do we actually come up with a new? name Hey Jonas, guys. I honestly don't remember. I think it was on a call about what we should call it. We were thinking I'm originally calling it one of the early names of our band before Jonas Brothers. This is how you guys remember it going down?
Starting point is 00:29:34 Yes. I have a very different memory of this. We were talking about a thing, a bit for the podcast where people could call in and say, Hey Jonas. And then I wrote down on my little notepad, Hey Jonas, and offered it up as a potential title for the podcast. But thanks for remembering that, guys. Listen to Hey Jonas on the Iheart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcast. Just listen.
Starting point is 00:29:54 We don't care where you hear it. Last night, a blown call changed a game. This morning, the internet lost its mind. Highlights are trending. Opinions are flying. And nobody's telling you exactly what happened. That's where Sports Slice comes in. I'm Timbo.
Starting point is 00:30:08 Every episode, we're cutting through the noise. Breaking down the plays, the controversies, and the stories behind the headlines. We go straight to the source, the athlete themselves. Their locker room stories, their reactions, the stuff nobody gets to hear. The laughs, the drama, the triumphs, the moments that never make the highlight real. From viral moments to historic games, from buzzer beaters to controversial calls, we break it down, give you context and ask the questions everybody wants answered. I'm Renee Stubbs, and on the Renee Stubbs tennis podcast, I'm breaking down everything happening at Roland Garris. Every match, every upset, and what it really takes to win on clay. Jen she went. I mean, she went down to three to Rabakina, but I'm delighted. She's an outsider to win the French, me. And she likes Clay. Listen, Lina Rabakina is arguably. the best player in the world right now. And I actually can win on any surface because if she's
Starting point is 00:31:21 serving, well, good luck. Consider this your court side seat to the French Open. Listen to the Renee Stubbs tennis podcast on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. Presented by Capital One, founding partner of IHeart Women's Sports. Week to week changes, though. Bucks at Panthers. Bucks are favorite minus three. Total points they gave us 45 and a half points. People don't want to say it, but this is the Panthers, man. People don't want to talk about, like, these two teams play each other twice in the next three weeks. Like, maybe split, maybe not, but you watch at what the Tampa Bay Buccaneers has put on the field. Mike Evans comes back here.
Starting point is 00:31:58 Everyone gets excited. They're up against the Atlanta Falcons. Kirk Othuggins goes and handles businesses. Third and 14. And they end up converting that. They end up winning the game when they're down two touchdowns in the fourth quarter. I love Baker Mayfield. I love his moxie, his attitude, everything he does.
Starting point is 00:32:15 but this Panthers team just has quietly put together great wins throughout the season and they run the ball efficiently. They're good enough on defense and I like the Panthers here. I kind of like the Panthers to win the South. Are we just going to forget about this last week? The Panthers and the Saints? Yeah, I worry about that. Up 177?
Starting point is 00:32:35 This is super troopers. You guys got the bulletproof cup on. He's like, how are you shooting it? He's like pretty good. And he's one on the neck. He's like, what about that? Don't worry about that guy. Don't worry about that one.
Starting point is 00:32:45 But did Rico go back? Sayings quietly kind of do some weird shingles once in a while too. Saints four wins on the season, two of them against the Panthers. Neither of these teams want to win the NFC South here. I'm disappointed in the Buccaneers, especially their defense. Not being able to close out that game was awesome to see Mike Evans come back and try and finish out his career in an epic fashion. Baker for the last eight games has not been playing what we saw in the early half.
Starting point is 00:33:09 That pick was tough at the end of the game, bro. MVP consideration. and the Panthers, I mean, they're up and down too. But yeah, they have looked better this year with Canales. But I just, I don't think, I don't feel comfortable picking either of these teams. So that's why I'm going with the over at 45 and a half. I might have to follow my green dot on that one. Oh, subordinate.
Starting point is 00:33:32 You say you're taking an over? We're sitting there watching the stream last Thursday. I mean, Demon, Deacon cooked up this nice little parlay where we had like the over. We had, who was the touchdown score? Buckie Irving? Bejan Robinson? Bejan Robinson. Bejan Robinson.
Starting point is 00:33:49 We had the over. And then Demon goes alt-line and takes the bucks to cover seven and a half, move the line up to minus seven and a half. They should have. And then Baker Mayfield goes up there and throws that interception and just ruin those things. Because vibes were high. When we got, everything was hitting, everything was right there.
Starting point is 00:34:13 We just needed Baker to drive the field. Just protect the football. It didn't happen. For those reasons, I'm out on the Bucks. I'm going to go Panthers. I thought you were. I know, I know, but I'm going to go Panthers plus three. You heard that subordinate word again.
Starting point is 00:34:33 You just had to. No, no, no, no. I'm sitting there talking through that. For those reasons, I'm out on the buck. So I'm like, just go Panthers, Willie, see? So I'm going to go Panthers plus three. Got eight, see? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:34:42 You two, Panthers. What did you got? Get some intel over there? Yeah, you know, I was just looking. Y'all pretty much spelled all the shit I was going to say. Not bad. I'm actually going to go with the Panthers, too. But I'm going to move that line to six and a half.
Starting point is 00:34:57 The Panthers right now is a team. I know they lost to the Saints last week, but they are a team that is fighting. Rico, they got to lean on Rico. If we can run that ball and get this man, as many touches as possible, this is going to be a good game. I don't see them losing by a touchdown.
Starting point is 00:35:13 I think the Broncos may win this game, but I'm going to take the Panthers to cover. Hold on. What? You need the Broncos win this game? We're taking the Panthers to cover? Six and a half. Yep.
Starting point is 00:35:29 A good doubleheader this weekend. Huh? Hey, we got some Papa Warner shit going on. Hey, boys, get your juice boggs, get your orange slices. We've got to have a game in an hour and a half. Huh? They're saying 157 Broncos. Oh, yeah, the Buccaneers.
Starting point is 00:35:46 I'm tripping. The Buccaneers. So you're taking Panthers? plus three plus six and a half okay y'all know what the fuck i'm talking about girl i was looking at my notes and yeah we just like to get you know i know i trust me i don't you i don't think y'all i don't take y'all don't take nothing serious so except except for buddy we just have in the parking lot oh no i take him serious oh okay damn looking back on it you probably should have no he's how the circumstances he was he was the homie he just you know apparently he was not the homey you know
Starting point is 00:36:17 me in the locker room he was the homie outside the locker i can't say what he was but inside the he's the homie i'm the leader on the team all that stuff you just you just let that stuff just wash off you know what i mean rush it off yeah hell yeah hell yes let me ask you this dude how you feel about the patriots at the ravens are favored minus two and a half and the total points are 47 and that's which is crazy the ravens is only favorite because they i guess analysts feel that they're playing at home the ravens are going to be stronger at home the defense usually play better when they at home, but y'all
Starting point is 00:36:51 you know what I'm going to do. I'm an underdog king this week. I'm taking Patriots. Look, history shows Brable knows how to beat the Ravens. And that's all it has
Starting point is 00:37:07 to be said. If Mike Brable is the coach, I'm following Mike Rable. I am taking this guy to go as far as he possibly can and that's maybe the Super Bowl. So the Ravens, are getting beat. Unless they have to play the bills. What happened last week?
Starting point is 00:37:21 The bills was, that was, that was Josh Allen being Josh Allen. I'll guarantee if they got to play again, the Patriots win. Guarantee. Guarantee. Guarantee. It's a meal guarantee right there. Yeah, guarantee the Patriots way. So you're going.
Starting point is 00:37:36 Patriots. Money line? No, I'm taking the spread. I like, I like the Patriots money line here. I like the Patriots money line. I love everything I saw about the Patriots. I just get some clarity. the way they started the game.
Starting point is 00:37:48 Obviously, they couldn't finish. We saw some holes on the defense. Josh Allen put on a Superman cape. They couldn't stop the run game. I think it was five possessions in a row that they scored. But I think there's a refocus. They still have this opportunity to win the AFC East here. But Ravens, O and two at home in prime time this season.
Starting point is 00:38:08 I know they're coming off a win, feeling good, but I'm surprised that as well as the Patriots played and scoring 29, 30, 30. 30 points, whatever it is, that they don't feel like that they are the underdogs here. Now, if I'm the Ravens, I'm looking at the game playing from last week with the bills. I'm just, I'm handing it off heavy to old buddy. Derek. Derek.
Starting point is 00:38:31 And we both got something going on. And Lamar's got to pick and choose one to make his plays. Yeah. To make his plays. But I like the Patriots money line here, despite it being primetime, being flexed in Baltimore. Give me the Pats. Yeah, this show is a meeting of the minds. It takes all four of us to curate something here.
Starting point is 00:38:53 I love the Patriots. I love the Patriots money line this weekend. I think what happened against the bills, the best thing that's going to happen for the Patriot season is blowing that lead, blowing that 21-point lead. Everybody's going to be tight this week. Everybody knows, like, what's it's sake? And Vrable, we've been in the rooms where he sits there
Starting point is 00:39:09 and breaks down, like the formula to beat the Ravens. I think the Ravens are a lesser team than they have been in years past. Lamar, he hasn't been the same Lamar, and that we've known in the past. He's playing better football. But again, I love the Patriots in the spot. Love him going to Baltimore. Kind of being the underdog.
Starting point is 00:39:24 Like, hey, everybody thinks now that we had our week schedule. Bill's came back. Josh Allen, he's Superman, he's this, that. Everybody's not even talking about the Patriots anymore. They're going to go into Baltimore and they're going to get a dove. Yeah, the way that Patriots lost his game is the perfect way for them to lose his game and to really crank it up for the rest of the season. Brable was undefeated going into coming off of Bywakes, I would tell this last game.
Starting point is 00:39:44 You go into at halftime, up three scores, and then lose a game like that. That's the perfect reset. You're never going to be able to just suit up on Sunday and beat a team conversation that Rable is going to put on the boys there. There's going to be a new sense of urgency taking place this late in the season for the Patriots. I like them going and I like the money line against the Ravens.
Starting point is 00:40:04 Money line. Money line. You like the spread still? Yeah, I'm taking it spread. Why don't you go against us and just go Ravens? Why would I do that? Go Ravens, Moneyline. No.
Starting point is 00:40:17 Look. If you're saying the spread, don't you go Ravens plus. I'm just taking the spread. I'm taking the spread because Vegas knows something we don't know, obviously. Does Vegas know if Rable the way we know if we know Rable? Maybe. But you know something. Yeah, in Bagelago.
Starting point is 00:40:32 Huh? You go Ravens plus three and a half. I wouldn't go Ravens plus three and a half. I'm just telling y'all, um, brooks in the pudding. I'm just out of the bottle. I'm on a hot street right now. I'm just going to let Chad GBT keep me on the right street. Oh, so that is who?
Starting point is 00:40:57 I ain't say Jack GBT gave me this information. You know, I've been talking to them. You can get therapy from chat GBT. Right. And they've been keeping me on the right narrow. Yeah, the right narrow. Indeed. Yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 00:41:12 Many of the minds, I love that, by the way. Because you're, it does take all four. 49ers at cold. Just to get one thought. 49th's favorite minus six and a half. Total points that game is 46 and a half points. First off, I love the storyline, Philip Rivers. The clip of the kids and whatever restaurant watching throw that touchdown in the game.
Starting point is 00:41:32 Like this is a movie taking place with Philip Rivers. I was pulling for them so hard. I wanted to win for him and then I was hoping he would just leave. Just leave one game and just be done. Get his health insurance back for five more years? Yeah. See ya. How much did it make you think after watching him?
Starting point is 00:41:50 Like if you had to put yourself in his shoes, if they're like, hey, whomever it is, Titans, you know, they reach out 49ers packed like, they need you back. Like, I felt it. I felt it. I put myself in his shoes and I was like, man, I hope he gets it done for us, for all of us,
Starting point is 00:42:08 for all the old heads who retired. They said you couldn't do it anymore. You got commentators who are up in arms because, you know, they didn't, maybe they wanted him. instead of somebody else or whatever it might look like. So I was disappointed. They didn't get the win,
Starting point is 00:42:22 but I was happy to see him have the little bit of success that he had. And I hate to cut you off, but I think that's where it stops. I think that's where it stops. I mean, listen, that Seattle Colts game, it was the ultimate trap game. It was a trap game because they're playing the Rams coming up on Thursday night. They're looking past saying, oh, no,
Starting point is 00:42:42 they got this, you know, 44, 45-year-old quarterback coming back who hasn't played in four or five years. Like, this is going to be easy. But they get the dub. I know we're not talking about the Seahawks here. I think there's tape on Phillip now. I think you see what, you know, the game playing they're going to run. And the 49ers.
Starting point is 00:42:58 I mean, is there a team that's talked about less than a 10 and 449ers and how has them coached up? Brock Purdy looked unbelievable. His movement looks fully healthy. Kittle looks awesome. Their old lines been playing well lately. Defense is still, you know, it's still going to be their liability in the long run.
Starting point is 00:43:19 But I think this is a, I think they cover handedly at minus six and a half. In this one, I just, I just don't think it's going to be too close. Yeah, I mean, obviously Colts, they kept it close with field position, controlling the clock, running the ball. I just think, you know, now that it's out there, now that it's put out there, I just, I don't see it being a problem. Especially Robert Stall, I do that DC, he's going to know exactly what to do. You see some of the throws that Rivers was making, how they just kind of tail off towards the sidelines. It's like they hit a brick wall and just fell down a couple of times. Love the storyline.
Starting point is 00:43:48 I'm with you on all that. Forty-Nighters recovering this game. Let's not take away from Philip Rivers. Not at all. Absolutely, I love everything about it. No. He's a grandfather. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:43:56 Onward. I mean, it's all spot on. Are you going Colts? Hmm? What are you going here? Where are you going? He said, he, like, he laid it out perfectly. Let's not take away from Philip Rivers.
Starting point is 00:44:07 I think that last weekend was a moment where it's like they let the family come in the room. They say their goodbyes. We got to get some words and have a good exchange. Right. But it is. It'll be the end of the road. throw Phillip Rivers. And listen, great stuff.
Starting point is 00:44:20 Nothing but respect. Nothing but respect for the game. And he got that. But you see him like, you know, he's still got, you know, whatever form of juice he says he can have, he's still, you know, out there kind of like dishing it from his ear and everything else. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:44:33 He's a couple ducks too. He's a crosser. He's a little dunk right. The defense is going to have. That's his been his, throwing motion. Yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:44:42 But you see it come out, sputter a couple times. See the whole, the whole, slip in and fall. thing. The Niners will have at least some type of film of what I get a sense of a game playing that's going to be happening with Philip Rivers. He's not going to be chucking a deep. He's not going to be doing all that stuff. They're going to suffocate him. And the Niners are going to cover this game. Yeah, I got Niners covering. It's no-brainer. Christian McAfree, guys. Christian McAfry, guys. Give him the ball. Yeah. Give him the ball.
Starting point is 00:45:11 Hell yeah. What if, though, John McTillard just goes crazy. I mean, that's the only thing that can change this game. This is the slam dunk. Philip Rivers. He's like, he got back. Yeah. That can run the shit out of the ball. That's the only thing.
Starting point is 00:45:23 Control the clock. He hasn't been the same since Daniel went down. He is kind of tampered off a little. I mean, he's still consistent, but I don't know. The coach ain't been the same. It's hard to keep that level of consistency that he was playing with. Yeah, it was crazy. That high of a level all season long.
Starting point is 00:45:38 And it's like, yeah, so many injuries taking place. This true classic game of the week is brought to us by True Classic Fellas, the new Curve Pima shirts. Starting point is 00:48:47 Shout out Philip Rivers. We got the True Classic Game of the Week. Every weekend's got games, but only one fits just right. This is True Classic's Game of the Week. We got the Green Bay Packers at the Chicago Bears. What a game, boys. The spread on this game Packers are favored by one and a half. Jordan Love versus Caleb Williams.
Starting point is 00:49:03 The over-under on this game is 46.5. This is the game. This is the game. What time is this game on? Saturday night. This is going to say. I've been waiting all day for Saturday night. But this is the Packers' destiny right here, right?
Starting point is 00:49:21 Destiny? Hey, I'm a little word for the Packers. I'll tell you why. It's not a talent standpoint. I just think of the psyche of that team. Your team MVP and Micah Parsons goes down, who they traded for before the season saying, This is the piece we need to get over the hump to get us to the Super Bowl.
Starting point is 00:49:42 Christian Watson comes back. He's playing phenomenally. I think five touchdowns in four games. Jordan Luff. There was a beautiful deep ball. And the Packers are at what, 2413 or 2314? They got this in hand on the road. And Certain, defensive MVP, just picks it off, lands on him.
Starting point is 00:49:59 He's hurt. So let's get back to the psyche. You've got one of your best offensive players go down, your team MVP. and now you're playing the Bears who are coming off a big win and you're in the same position you were two weeks ago when you played them. Bears are half a game ahead. You need this to stay obviously ahead in the NFC North. But as a coach, I used to hate when coaches would, you know, extra meetings,
Starting point is 00:50:25 practice would be a little bit more physical or longer, because you'd sense there's panicking there. You could sense it means more of a players. We just want it to be business as usual. Yeah. So for me, I worry about that. And especially with you looked at last week, the Rams win, the Seahawks win, the Bears win, and the 49ers win. The loser of this game is quite possibly done at the seven seed in the NFC, which is drastic from being, you know, maybe the number of two seed here.
Starting point is 00:50:54 But I can't bet against my Packers, you know, and I think one of the, one of the stats I wrote down here from the first time they play that doesn't show up in the box scores. was the Packers average six and a half yards per play against the Bears. Bears did a great job in the second half making adjustments. Caleb looked awesome in the second half being elusive. He's had a little spill right here. He looks awesome in the second half, but I think he's going to be a close game, but I like the Packers winning this based on talent, based on they did this before Michael was here,
Starting point is 00:51:31 they did this when Christian Watson was hurt, and I look for them to get a big win at Soldier Field, prime time, to take a commanding lead in the NFC North of half a game. That's my impassioned speech. Where they playing? Soldier Field. See, I think the Bears have all the momentum right now. They do, bro.
Starting point is 00:51:52 Oh, my God. They put it on the Browns. Caleb Williams? I mean, Green Bay almost stick to this. They cannot play well at a weight. I'm just, that's just my, that's my motto. He said, I don't want to stick to this. I haven't lost the Soldier Fields since 2018.
Starting point is 00:52:09 That's, it's a whole new year. Hold more years. That's what I'm saying. They only have what, two, two road losses this year. They had one going in the last week when Delaney was like, this team's not good. Denver has a better time. I've told y'all, man. I mean, look at the day, they're very close, too, on the way,
Starting point is 00:52:26 oh, road games, very close. They may win, but they're close. They don't play as well as they play in Green Bay. I'm just saying. You can see it. I've been right. The scores is telling you. So is it the weather?
Starting point is 00:52:37 Because the weather should be the same. I don't know. I mean, it was a tough loss against the Broncos at Denver. Yeah. And the Broncos are, what do they have the best record? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:52:46 We know who the Broncos are. The Green Bay is good in the beginning because the Broncos play trash in the beginning. And they step up in a fourth quarter. They have a great second half. We know that. So I've sat there and watched that game like, we're not watching the first.
Starting point is 00:52:58 We're not watching the first. We'll come back in the second half. It'll be a whole different game. like it was. So, but at the end of the day, just, I like Green Bay. I like the colors, you know, yeah. The city is not much there, but that's why when they're there, they play great because everyone comes to the stadium and cheers for them, make them feel so special. But then when they go away, they get booze, they get the turn of the heads. They don't like that. They just get rattled, huh? They get rattled. They need the cheers. See, they, they, they, they, could
Starting point is 00:53:31 That's why they're wasn't good during COVID. Because y'all need fans. Didn't A-Raw win the MVP? A-Roy. And didn't they go to the NFC championship then? They might have. I don't know. They weren't good on the road, though.
Starting point is 00:53:47 They was not good on the road. No. Now, I'm going, you know, come on, man. Y'all know I'm taking the bears here. But the thing is, I have to move that line. I have to move the line. Go ahead. Move it.
Starting point is 00:54:00 The only reason why I'm moving the line, Because the first time they played, what was the 21, 28. Yeah. Yeah, so I'm going to move that line to seven and a half. So bears plus seven and a half? Yeah. Or the Packers, it should be Packers plus seven and a half if they're, because you don't think they play well, right?
Starting point is 00:54:21 No, it's not. The Packers are favorite. Packers don't play well. They're not good a way. They live by the cheers and then die by the boost. And for that reason, he's going to take the Bears to only. lose by seven. Yeah. That's what you're going to win.
Starting point is 00:54:34 You don't think the Bears are winning the game. No, they go and they don't, they won't lose more than by six. That's a little insurance policy. Yeah. That's a little insurance policy. Yeah. That's gambling. That's gambling. That's why Vegas does it. Why I can't do it if Vegas can do it. I love this. Yeah. I love this so much. Yeah. Yeah. Six or seven. No, six or seven. Oh, shit. What I don't come back to the time. Are you going six and a half or look he's still picking some of the six minutes or whatever he's just like me three weeks ago
Starting point is 00:55:03 that that's gambling we're all trying to win though I think bears are going to win but if they lose I needed I need a minute seven I was a good impression that was a good impression where'd you go I'm thinking the Packers to me to me like I hear I hear you're You sense the subtle fear in Clay for the Packers. I don't think. That's a fair statement. Awareness. I know, but you're saying the psyche.
Starting point is 00:55:39 I know that happens. It goes on. I don't necessarily think it's a bad game. Like if you're practicing harder or you, you know, if you feel like your head coach or whoever it is, you feel the missing pieces from one of your better offensive weapons. And obviously you're the MVP pass rusher and Michael Parsons. I don't necessarily mind the urgency or the harder practices because at the end of the day, you do got to lock in and find.
Starting point is 00:56:00 different and fine ways to win without those guys like that level of urgency heightens across the board for the other 10 guys on the field the guy who's going to be filling in he knows what he's got not necessarily live up to you don't try to go out there and be Superman you know you have to rally around as an offense to have a strategy and then you get to kind of like lock the doors focus in a little bit more and I see it I see it more as like a I was going to say positive thing obviously you want Watson and Michael Parsons out there but for the team as a whole like that feeling of urgency, feeling like you can't have any of the lulls. We do have to come out and come on the field and go a little bit harder, practice with that much more urgency. When you feel
Starting point is 00:56:36 that, I feel like the team will show up more because they feel like they are, they're going in there. Everybody's got Soldier Field, Chicago Bears, they're in the race. Who's going to win the north here? You lose. They're not worried about them being able to fall of the seventh seed, but it's more of like, this is a must-win game. Our back is against the wall. So I see the Packers. Again, a tough loss out in Denver. But it was the Denver Broncos. And Packers have still been playing well outside of losing those pieces I think they continue to play well
Starting point is 00:57:03 and they beat the Chicago Bears Yeah, the problem for me is like both these guys It's so it's catastrophic them losing Losing those two guys Because obviously Michael Parsons speaks for himself Right like you if he's out Now as an office line as an office quarter As a head coach of Ben Johnson
Starting point is 00:57:18 You can now scheme against your best pass rusher Which is Roshang Gary. Skimming against one good pass rusher Is way easier than me like Oh we got two aliens on both sides Now we're not so sped up and how we have to go through our progressions, what we know Caleb Williams have struggled with throughout the season. He's having more time to sit in the pocket.
Starting point is 00:57:35 You know, and they don't necessarily rely on him completing the ball. He's won eight games, the completion percentage, lower than 60. And then you look at the receiver, his biggest asset was being a deep threat. So you have all the entire secondary having to back up, which allows completions, you know, inside 10 yards, inside 15 yards. And so Jordan Love sits more comfortable. Because when Jordan Love is sacked one or less times in a game, he's 7-1-1. If he's two and three, I think he's a little less than 500 that way.
Starting point is 00:58:04 So now when you don't have the deep threat, it condenses the field. That 53 and a third kind of comes down to like 48, 47, to where you have to make decisions, but the pockets are way tighter to throw into. So now that allows more pressure to get into because some second-guess you can take place. So there's a lot of dominoes that happen. And, you know, seeing the defense, when you're throwing in a tighter window, I was like, this is the most opportunistic defense in the entire NFL. They have a turnover margin of plus 20.
Starting point is 00:58:32 So I see all those things. And it's like, yeah, we can get a rising tide lifts all ships. Hey, we have these two guys who are down. Someone's got to, who's going to carry the boats in the situation? But I think the bears are sitting in a more advantageous spot of winning this game and getting a W for the first time since 2018. So I'm going to get the Bears. They've been playing well. I feel like Caleb Williams is right there, ready to break through.
Starting point is 00:58:54 figuring out. Their playoff team, like they deserve to be in the playoffs. The way they play, the way they're designed, the way Ben Johnson has them running the ball,
Starting point is 00:59:01 playing an opportunistic defense. Caleb, not faced by, you know, his balls, his passes, you know, not fazed by the inaccurate
Starting point is 00:59:09 season he's had, yeah. Yeah. That's part of his growing process and knowing that he hasn't wavered confidence level or he hasn't wavered mentally,
Starting point is 00:59:17 dude, he can sling the rock. I think he's going to be a hell of a quarterback. Once he gets all of that stuff dialed in, the game continues to slow down. for him they're stacking wins he's getting momentum bears have been playing awesome football i just
Starting point is 00:59:28 feel like the packers it's going to be a close game i just feel like green bay gets it done in the fourth quarter yeah yeah feel good yeah i feel great bears bears bears packers packers yeah onward and this one's on what saturday saturday night saturday night saturday night this will be yeah this would be fun game no i'm watching this one for sure gospel we got projected tvs saturdays and uh Chicago for Saturday night. Please make it freezing. Maybe.
Starting point is 00:59:59 It was freezing the last game in Chicago. I watched Spice Adams was doing an interview, and they opened up a Pepsi, and that thing turned to slush. I saw that. When they were going, it was like freezing. Why they were pouring it, bro. I'm like that. Yeah, a lot of people live there.
Starting point is 01:00:16 I don't know how people do there. I couldn't live there. Oh, God. Beautiful. That's a beautiful. That's a good football. High of what? these ready at half time oh hi of 42 oh yeah that's yeah whoa 43 oh at night yeah it's 20
Starting point is 01:00:33 20 it'll be 20 20 to a little i need a little bit of wind before i'd really yeah yeah where i stand that but 20 ain't nothing you all want to hear delaney's picks parley yeah yeah so bears plus six and a half panthers plus six and a half jags plus seven and a half steelers plus six and a half patriots plus two and half San Fran minus six and a half plus 2046 that's still cash ten dollars to win two hundred and four that's a I'm gonna need thank you for putting it out there for the group for the fans out there to hear that thank you since we're yeah let's talk parley's don't forget about your boy here okay since we're talking about parley's we got the money line parley this week okay
Starting point is 01:01:20 give me the Denver Broncos, the Detroit Lions, the New England Patriots, the San Francisco 49ers, and I'm going to sprinkle a little Houston Texans money line for a minus, excuse me, for a plus 579. Broncos playing Jacksonville. Detroit, Pittsburgh, they're going to score more points. Raiders, Texans, disaster for Las Vegas. The paths are going to bounce back versus the Ravens.
Starting point is 01:01:52 And the 49ers are going to do what they should against the Coles. Only one that makes me nervous is the Jax. We have in life. Plus 579. But I do like it. Put a little money on it then. I will. It's out there now.
Starting point is 01:02:05 You dropped the check. You screenshot that and sent it, but you didn't crop out how much you put on that guy. He didn't crop it out. He didn't crop it out. I'll let you know. Hey, we crop outs. We crop out. Absolutely.
Starting point is 01:02:22 Speaking of parlay is bet the voice parlay. Yeah. Oh, yeah. Jamir Gibbs, GbOT game for him. Who. This is the Steelers. Delaney? Look, man, you know, I ain't been with the, I ain't, I ain't prayed to the White Hope,
Starting point is 01:02:36 the Great White Hope this year. But I am going to pray to him this year. It's good to have you back. Christian McCaffrey. Anytime TD against the Colts. Travis E.T.N. Running back, Jaguars. For those who don't know what's going on with the Jaguars,
Starting point is 01:02:53 Travis E.T.N. against the Broncos, touchdown. I got James Cook against the Browns. Ooh. Your scares me a little bit. That's okay. Against Denver? Wait, but you saw what Josh Jacobs did last week. Had that beautiful run against.
Starting point is 01:03:07 Yeah. Against him. Yeah, I played against E.N. Like, I played against E.N. in fantasy football. And we got mopped. And usually when a guy has a game like that, I don't know if it's going to, lightning's going to strike twice. That's my only fear. You know what I thought, which I didn't bring
Starting point is 01:03:22 when we were talking about the Lions was Jemir Gibbs in games where he scores one touchdown, 8 and 0. Games where he doesn't score, 0 and 5. Last week didn't score. O and 6 now.
Starting point is 01:03:34 So we've got to score for these Lions. I love that. That's the stat you bring to the tape. That's a stat you should have brought out. I'm bringing it out now. Just loop that back into it. Put that. Pump that.
Starting point is 01:03:45 Yeah, that's what editing's for. Feel good. Boys, anything. Clay, you think? I think Miles Garrett breaks the record this weekend. Who do they have again? Bills. The bills.
Starting point is 01:03:55 He's 21 and a half. We had Deion Dawkins and he on this week and he was like... He said hell no. Well, every old line that plays against him now, like they're the first old line where he's gonna have the opportunity to break the record. I wouldn't even say hell no. Like the dudes are beast. You not, don't just say, oh, he's not getting it against us. Like he's gonna get here.
Starting point is 01:04:17 He didn't say hell no. No, Dion was pretty realistic. He's gonna be tough. like yeah you'd hate to be the office of line oh okay oh like you see straight hand when he got like you hate to be the office yeah gave that one yeah because it's talked about all the time i think he gets one i think he gets one sack this kid is 22 correct 22 and a half 22 and a half i think he ties the record i think he gets a sack this week but i mean he could have five sags i mean he's he's so good i mean he well against the what the tightings he didn't have none then that he came in
Starting point is 01:04:44 and got that sack fumble quick like they were talking about he ain't did none all week man came in there and got a sack for him like see what soon as they starts in with miles ain't done this is when he show up and he don't know it's happening but it's just it's always a thing bro it's like me when they were like he ain't had to catch all and about three plays he ain't about three plays crazy he got to get it miles Garrett to catch those hands in 2017 minus 192 for him to get him oh there's a minus 192 for what's yeah oh they're saying he That's plain, that's a gig. That's a part of it.
Starting point is 01:05:25 They put that in your parlay. Hey, the money line is the money line. Okay, you gotta stay true. I'm so sorry. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Can you sign us off? Can we get this, is the song? Are we doing it again?
Starting point is 01:05:35 I just love this song. I think the crowd loved it. Oh, the speaker now here. Speakers out here? Oh, my God. Hey, the fans loved it, man. I had people. I loved it.
Starting point is 01:05:45 I listened to it in my truck. Yeah, I like it. Yeah, I like it. I was slapping it. You can play it on our phone. I was slapping it. Yeah, send us all. dude what
Starting point is 01:05:54 you got to get one for the point oh alternate spread delaney what what's what's the nickname we're gonna hit this week boys you just gotta have belief and faith if you don't have either of those what do you have you've got nothing nothing you got five legs closest thing to guaranteed easy money hey dude you got a whale at your house I do have a well. Did it freeze over it?
Starting point is 01:06:28 Oh, you know what? I have the, I don't have the pump. Oh, yeah. I just had it dug. Oh, you put it underground? Yeah, like, that's where the well is comes from. No, I'm talking about your pump. Oh, I don't have the pump.
Starting point is 01:06:40 I don't have the pump. Oh, you don't have the pump. Credits are rolling and we're just kind of talking. At what depth did they find water? Do you, you got a well on your property? Yeah, mine's is that, uh, I think we're done. Let me see it.
