episode is presented by Visa. Paying with Visa, that's a pro move. What's going on guys? Chase Daniel here
and welcome into the first read. This is the Bussing with the boys Chase Daniel NFL recap show and we are into
week two and I am just excited about this show. We have so much cool stuff playing. We're just
going to get right into it. The storyline of the week and there's always different storylines
for every NFL week. The storyline of the week and God bless like the injuries,
the injury bug has hit two starting quarterbacks are out. Caleb Williams, Jaden Daniels. I mean,
Caleb Williams, I think we're going to get good news. I do think we're going to get good news.
It was his hamstring. He went down. It looked really bad. He wasn't having a good game.
We're going to get into that game here a little later and break down exactly what we saw.
But I don't think it's as severe as we initially thought. Jaden Daniels, too.
looks like he disoaded the exact same elbow as he did last season.
He was going down.
He put some pressure on it.
Even Tom Brady, who was calling the game, was, I mean, it's just, it's an awful feeling as a quarterback when you get hurt.
If he opts for surgery, it's probably a season ender.
Commanders, ah, not great.
Owen 2 so far to start the year.
And Marcus Marriota, he's a dog, love him.
going to have a tough go probably with David Blow,
already 0 and 2 in the division.
X-ray is showing no fracture.
So we'll see the other one that was really scary.
Jaden Reed, Packers, Jets.
He went off on a stretcher, obviously having a good year.
There's a Patriots offensive tackle who broke his leg.
Alec Pierce led the Sunday night game.
Chargers tied in, David Njoku, carted off.
Mike Evans left the game with injury.
I mean, there's even more guys there.
But this is part of the game.
People are going to have to deal with it.
There's going to be a lot of backups playing.
It's going to be interesting to see if specifically for the quarterbacks,
Tyson Bajent is the Bears, backup quarterback,
and obviously Marks Marietta is Jaden Nails.
The other storyline that's already getting a bunch of talk is, boy,
there are some surprising 2-0 teams, and there are some surprising O and 2 teams.
Let's just start with the surprising 2-0 teams, and that's right.
We're going to talk about it.
It's the Chiefs.
everyone thought the Chiefs was dead.
The Chiefs is the Chiefs.
They are back.
Huge win Sunday night football.
We're going to get into that.
The other one, too, the Raiders.
Like what Clint Kubiak, what he's been able to do.
Awesome.
Kirk Cousins took down the chargers in L.A.
By the way, they also have their franchise quarterback there under contract,
obviously first round pick.
The other one, too, the Minnesota Vikings.
I thought they were a consensus pick to be one of the worst teams in the NFC North.
and they start the year 2-0
and oh, by the way, it's Carson Winston.
Oh, by the way, they win ugly.
Kylie Murray, I think it's going to get cleared for next week.
We'll see.
They're super aggressive on defense,
haven't made cost of mistakes on the often side of the ball.
And then I don't think this is surprising,
but I think that some of you might think it's surprising 49ers.
I just don't think you guys understand
how good Kyle Shanahan is.
A lot of people probably thought their windowhead close,
especially considering the questions they had at offensive line.
We'll see what happens with Mike Evans.
Let's get to the O&2 teams, Chargers.
What in the world?
We are going to break them down.
I mean, Justin Herbert, Mike McDaniel, this is catastrophic.
I mean, I live a mile and a half up the road from there,
and they lost to the Cardinals, and they lost to the Raiders.
They were supposed to be 2-0 after those, not looking good at all.
Maconkey got injured.
He got carted off, or not Carried off, but he walked off.
He played a little bit today, but he's banged up.
The other one, I think the most surprising one, is the Texans.
Tough, tough.
First two games against the Bills and the Bengals.
Everyone's talking about this defense as all-world.
Boy, it is not lived up to the preseason height.
Ced Stroud didn't play too well, but hasn't played awful.
We'll get into that game as well.
And then commanders, look, even more bleak with the Jaden Daniels injury.
You had insult to injury, like I said, their own two division, unlike the Texans.
It's the craziest start to the NFL season I've ever had.
All right, guys, as always, we're powered by America's number one sports book, Fandul.
Tonight, we've got the Giants, the Rams, and a ton of rewards from Fandil.
Here's how it works.
First, you'll bet tonight's game with your 30% profit boost, and then you'll keep an eye on the field to see what happens.
If both score in the first half, you'll get a 25% profit boost, and if any player goes for 100 or more receiving yards, you get a 50% profit boost.
Pretty cool.
If defense special teams score on either side, I have a feeling they will, you'll walk away with one.
100% profit boosts, head to the app, make this your most rewarding season ever for
fan duel.
Let's just dive right on in to the biggest games.
Every week, we're going to have four to six games.
We're going to talk about a little bit more in depth, and we're going to recap what happens,
and you know, you know we had to start with the Kansas City Chiefs and the Indianapolis
Colts.
The Colts are 0 and 2.
The Chiefs are now 2 in 0 on the season.
and when last week it looked like the Chiefs were going to establish the run before anything else.
They ran five times in a row to start the game last week.
They ran it six times the whole first half this week.
Like I thought the Chiefs were going to be the Chiefs and just hand it off.
And then all of a sudden, Mahomes looked like the old Mahomes.
It's the best he's ever looked in the last two games, or excuse me, in the last two years.
And his throws had some major, major velocity on it.
I'm just saying right now, Mahomes is officially back.
I'm calling it right now.
I just got done watching this game,
and the velocity on his football is next level.
Him and Travis Kelsey,
they look like their old,
Travis Kelsey looks like he can still play a lot more.
Here's what happened in the game, though.
Patrick Mahomes finished 32 of 47 for 382 yards and three touchdowns.
Has gone for over 350 yards and three plus touchdowns,
one other time since 2022.
That's what I'm talking about.
You're getting the old Mahomes back.
It wasn't just a oh, run the football.
Oh, it's the Kenneth Walker show.
These chiefs are showing us that they can win multiple different ways.
Under center and shotgun.
I love the under center dropback that they're doing.
It's great.
Jonathan Taylor on the other side had 75 rushing yards in the first half.
That Kansas City Chief's defense, remember, only held the Broncos in week one.
they had 61 rushing yards the whole game versus Chiefs defense.
So maybe that is a little bit of a leaky defense.
We'll figure it out.
Their secondaries playing a lot better.
And then most importantly, I just think so far,
and I hate to say MVP of the Chiefs,
but he's the MVP of the Chiefs,
it's Kenneth Walker, Jr.
The throw on third and one,
rolling to your left from Patrick Mahomes,
it's literally called Slipper Naked Left.
You're getting out, you're slipping out,
side, you're bootlegging to the left. He had to throw it over that guy. The one-handed
catch, he was carrying like a loaf of bread, and every he won't like that. He just
brings such a different dynamic to the Chiefs room. And here's what I love about it. The Chiefs
actually got him, they didn't even pay that much for him. Like I paid $15, $60 million. The
running back market now, the way it has absolutely skyrocketed, I believe he is like
ninth or tenth highest paid back. So he is absolutely a beast. Jonathan Taylor,
too, by the way, with the Colts.
Look, they're 0-2. Daniel Jones.
I mean, that ending was crazy. Was he down?
Was he not to tread well?
That throw was unbelievable.
He hit the tap in overtime.
He tapped his hip, but we were all Texan with the boys, and they're like, oh, this is
the Mahomes classic.
He's going to go down there.
He's going to win the game.
Of course he did.
So what does this mean for the Chiefs?
2-0 start, most importantly, and they have won a game, both games, in completely different.
ways. We've talked about it through the year of this game, on the ground, the other game. I love the fact that they actually have a run game this year. It's a mark of a good team to not only win a game one way, but you can do it multiple different ways. What this means for the Colts, man, it's a tough two games to start the year, but Daniel Jones has looked good. Hopefully that Alec Pierce injury isn't serious, but they are a tough team to beat in their run game. I believe that Daniel Jones doesn't make mistakes will make them better. Remember, it's only a 16%
chance to make the playoffs when you start 0-2. All right. Let's get in to the next game.

visit connects ontario.cavikings nine bears three 12 total points scored in this game and look I tweeted this
earlier on Sunday um I thought that the weather people just don't understand how much of an issue
the weather is when you're sitting and you're playing in it because people like oh just go out there and
play and just go out there and throw it look the weather situation
Caleb Williams obviously didn't play well, but the weather situation was really bad.
I don't think it had any effect on Caleb Williams' injury.
But if all you need to know about anything on this game, it's that Caleb Williams got hurt.
And man, it looked honestly, it looked a lot worse live because I saw it live.
We were on a plane coming back from Nashville.
Shout out, Bustle of the Boy.
Shout out, Paige Suckup, Ryan Suckup, that 40th birthday.
We're watching this on the plane, and I'm like, oh, my guy, he tore his ACL.
Like he just dropped.
He was scrambling to the left.
They were about to score a touchdown.
He just dropped.
And honestly, it was not a good thing.
Reports are saying it's a hamstring, which that's what I was like.
If it's a hamstring, look, as long it's not a crazy one, he's probably going to miss some time.
I do like Tyson Bajent.
Tyson Bajent is their backup quarterback.
He's performed admirably.
I think Casey Keenham also is the number three quarterback.
He could be in the mix, but I do think Tyson has played really, really well.
He's excited for this.
If you remember, he was a guy who ended up, like, crying when he got the deal.
And I say that in all the best way because, like, it just means, he got like a big deal,
I think a two-year, $10 million deal.
It means a lot to him.
So top of line stats, let's just break down the game.
Obviously, the Caleb Williams headline is going to be everywhere.
I hope he's okay.
But the Vikings defense, to me, was dominant.
It held the bear's 0 for 3 in the red zone.
You can't score.
And it's hard for a backup to get in there and to actually operate the offense at the right.
manner because the backup quarterback doesn't get any snaps.
So you had two backup quarterbacks who had barely taken snaps in the red zone,
Windows or Tire, all that stuff.
Most importantly, had four sacks and forced two turnovers.
Let's go to the Vikings because they are the, and I said,
they're probably the most surprising two-and-o team that I've seen.
Most importantly, Carson Wentz did not turn the football over.
He didn't make mistakes.
There were some crazy snaps early in a game flying left and right,
but that was the difference in the game.
The weather was a factor in the game.
As an offensive play caller, you cannot just go into this game like it's a sunny day.
You can have the best game playing in the world.
You have to be able to fix it, and you have to be able to turn on to the next thing,
and that's exactly what Kevin O'Connell did.
Hey, we're not going to throw it a hundred times.
JJ, Jefferson looked amazing.
Justin Jefferson looked amazing.
Here's what's really interesting, too.
So the Vikings defensively, that's what's helping them.
Obviously, Carson played really well the first week, played pretty good this week.
The Viking blitz 72% of the time in Packers' dropbacks in week one.
Ben Johnson and Caleb Williams week one versus Panthers were extremely good against the blitz.
So I thought that would be it.
Caleb went 9 for 14, 14, 142 yards, and two touchdowns versus the blitz in Carolina.
So I thought, hey, don't blitz.
Not so fast.
Brian Flores said, you know what?
We're going to blitz more than that.
First half, Brian Flores blitz on 75% of Caleb's dropbacks.
All right, what this means for the Minnesota Vikings, they are two in a division that looked really tough before the season with how the Lions defense is looking and how the Packers' offense looks.
It's future, and we're going to get into that game.
Oh, it's like watching paint dry.
And now the Bears looking to be without Caleb Vikings.
Like, we haven't even seen their starting quarterback, Keller Murray play.
They sit in the driver's seat in the very winnable division all of a sudden.
I thought it was going to be one of the toughest, not so much.
What it means for the loser.
The Bears coming off the highest of highs,
59 points, saying you're going to win the Super Bowl
and not wanting your season to be over
if Caleb is out for a season.
I mean, just completely separate.
I think the whole season is going to come down to
can Tyson Baygent?
Can he play well?
Because Caleb probably will be out for an extended period.
Even when he gets back,
he's not going to be as Houdini in the pocket
like he was in week one.
It's going to be tough.
So I can't remember a more
binary first two Sundays for a fan base
in recent memory and we covered the bears here
a lot, just so many
different motions. All right, let's get on to one of my
favorite games of the day. Bengals, Texans,
Bengals, 20, Texans,
six. Texans,
what are we doing?
Look, let's start with Joe Burrough in the Bengals,
though. Burrow got off to a slow start.
May not have been 100%,
but the headline is
for me that may be the first
time in his entire career,
his back's not going to be hurt.
not literally his back. He's not having to carry the defense. The defense has looked really,
really good. Last year, or the year before, the year before that, if the Bengals scored 20 points,
I'm like, they're not winning. Their defense is awful. And even Joe Burrell wasn't great.
Like, he was sacked five times. He actually, and this was my biggest pet peeve of Zach Taylor,
the head coach the first week, Jamar Chase, I think had a catch, maybe two.
Not so fast this week.
It was part of their game plan.
Seven catches, 75 yards, two touchdowns.
If you started in fantasy, shout out you.
I don't play fantasy.
Shout out you.
C.J. Stroud, I did not think played bad.
They just couldn't run the football.
They bring over Montgomery.
They have marks.
They combine for 14 carries for 18 yards.
Is that a bad run game?
Or is a better run defense with Dexter Lawrence?
Straub, when you're the leading rusher for the Texans,
never a winning formula.
the stat line I think that defined the entire game for Houston and it led to the Texans being 0 for 4 scoring in the red zone.
The fact of the matter is you have to score points in the red zone.
You cannot kick field goals if you want to win in this game.
And by the way, the Bengals schedule, it's cake.
Good job being 2 and 0.
What it means it's got to be feel good for the Bengals fans.
You know you can win games without Joe Burrow being the best play.
player on the field. They need to figure out, first of all, how they can adjust protections,
because Joe Burrell, he looks fragile out there. You're out there miscommunicating with the
offensive line. He's getting absolutely smoked. Cannot happen. He was sacked four times, but you're
two and oh and you played pretty good teams, bucks and Texans, even though the bucks lost to the
bounds, which we will get into as well. And what it means for the loser, third time in the last four
years that Texas have started 0 and 2. And we know how hard it is for 0 and 2.
teams to make the playoffs. Under the current, get this, under the current format, all right,
51 teams have started 0-2, only eight of them. Only eight have made the playoffs. If you start
0-2, it's not impossible, but it's almost impossible. 16% of the time, C.J. Stroud to me is
playing winning football. There's a lot being talked about his fifth-year option. Is he not?
Already, I just feel like the run game of the defense has not lived up to it. Let's get to one of the
coolest games of the week. And probably no one had the Saints winning in Baltimore, 2417. Shout
out Cody, helping me produce this show. Shout out, Kumpter. Like, we got to talk Saints Ravens.
I'm like, I'm loving the Saints. I was with them for five years. I was on the high horse for the Ravens
last week. I was like, Declan Doyle, you are rolling. You got Lamar Jackson under center. He's been
under center and then all of a sudden like another week another team that think the saints have
put them away i don't know if they stopped playing i don't know what happened but then tyler shook
happened leads another comeback obviously the last week and week one was really close to leading an
insane comeback for the lions uh but this time the saints scored 15 unanswered in the fourth quarter
to win like cardiac kids they just like playing better in the fourth quarter i love what the saints have
going on. Tyler Shuck was 27 of 34, 252 yards.
Let me get a drink of water.
Shout out of Walla.
And two total touchdowns.
He went, get this though.
I think this is the best time.
When you can have a quarterback step up and play your best,
when your best is needed, which we call money downs,
money situations, third down, red zone, two minute, fourth quarter.
Okay, he went 12 and 14 for 119 yards and those two
touchdowns in the fourth quarter. I like me some shuck. The most important takeaway I got for the
Saints fans is he is your franchise quarterback. There is no question about it. I love your offensive
scheme. I love everything about it. Let's go to the, actually, how about this? Since week 10 of
2025, only Josh Allen has more fourth quarter touchdowns than Tyler Shuck. Let that sink in.
I think Josh Allen's the MVP of the league. I think he's having an MVP year. Only Josh Allen.
at the Ravens side of things, the Ravens could not run the ball to put the Saints away.
I will never understand this, but Derek Kennery only had five carries in the second
out of the game when they were leading the majority of it. My thought would be like, give
him the damn ball every single time. I understand there's other things to do. Lamar, after a
week one where I thought he was the second or third best quarterback, pretty sure he was my top
three or four quarterbacks in the
breakdown episode which is on
Tuesdays which we
go in depth. This is more of what
happened. We go in depth on that. He was
my third or fourth best quarterback last week.
Not so much this week. 21 of 31,
234 yards and a touchdown
with a really costly
interception. I do not
know where he was throwing that. It was in
no man's land.
So yeah, this is
and by the way, Saints fans,
you're doing this with Chris Olive.
stays healthy. You have a true receiver one. He toured up again today. Eight catches 86 yards
and a touchdown. Oh, by the way, did you guys remember that you have first round pick
Jordan Tyson that is going to be coming back from the IR? I think this offense can be dangerous
with Kellyn Moore's dialing it up. Love the use of different personnel groupings and everything
in between. What this means for the losers, ah, the Ravens, they blow a fourth quarterly,
which would make it their 13th blown. Fourth quarter of
lead of seven points since the start or more. Seven or more points since I started
22 and 1. 13th blown, I'm reading this and I do not believe it. 13th blown fourth quarter
lead of seven plus points or more since I started 2021. Most in the NFL and the next most
in that span was only seven and they have 13. This has been an issue the whole time no matter
the coach. It's always been with Lamar Jackson there. I'm not saying this is all in Lamar.
great teams know how to finish people.
Good teams can stick around.
There's no reason that the Ravens shouldn't be at home today
watching this film and saying we're 2 and O.
But the Saints, man, it is a very difficult place
to play up there in Baltimore.
Weird things happen up there in Baltimore.

All right, let's get on to Jags Broncos.
Jags 13, Broncos 20.
Huge win for Broncos.
We don't talk enough about the Broncos.
They do have one of the best rosters.
in all the NFL and get this.
The whole storyline going to this game is Davis Webb a good play caller?
Sean Payton gonna freak out and take it from him and I know Sean personally and he loves
control.
Guys, chill out.
Their first seven quarters of the season, they only scored 16 points.
The Davis Webb often scored 14 points in the fourth quarter to get a must-needed win, a
little naked bootleg out, which I love the play call, you fake out and then you bootleg out.
touchdown pass to the fullback and then a run play right up the middle.
It was not perfect, but this is a good win over a team in the Jacksonville Jaguars.
I think we'll have a 10 win season.
And Tim Tebow was there.
He was the captain.
I don't know if you saw it, but it was hilarious.
He's waving the Bronco flag.
Completely went off.
We're buddies at SEC Nation on ESPN, but that was hilarious to me.
And this Denver offense only went two for five in the red zone.
and then they included a really bad interception from Mo Nix,
but he only threw incompletions, four of them in the second half,
and the Broncos got the run game going.
Jalen Waddle, I think, was the missing weapon there.
He had a good game, really good game, super unused in the first game against the Chiefs.
I think that was very apparent, so what did Davis Webb do?
Let's dial up for eight catches for 138 yards on 10 targets.
He played a bunch.
Look, I think Trevor Lawrence also played extremely well, even though the box score was not impressive.
Go watch the film.
And even though he leads the NFL in turnover since he entered the league, which is the worst thing, a quarterback can do.
He's been phenomenal over his lasting games.
And what this means for the winner, it means that you're not the dreaded O and two, guys.
Come on, you're one-in-one with the Broncos.
There are still some very much worrying aspects of the offense.
We are going to break him down, eventually on the breakdown.
Not this week.
It's coming, though, Broncos fans.
Relax. It's going to play.
I think that they are playing Bo Nix way more aggressively,
and he's still throwing balls fading off his back foot.
That was one of the things he can get better at,
and I'm glad it's a win,
but that was one thing he sort of struggled with last year
was he's hopping and just didn't feel comfortable.
He couldn't match up his footwork to Sean Payton's routes.
It's getting better.
And what this means for the loser,
you lost a road game against a really good team.
in a very tough place to play.
You're in a tough place to play.
Your division isn't the strongest division
and you have a lot to build off of.
Trevor Lawrence needs to keep playing well.
I think he will.
I really do think he will.
All right, let's get into the last game,
commanders versus the Cowboys, in this section
where we're going to go a little bit in depth.
Obviously, the news is Jaden Daniels.
And any time a quarterback gets hurt, it's brutal, it's awful.
You saw how everyone reacted,
and it was just, it wasn't great.
And it's hard to win games on the road in Dallas.
But most importantly, Dak Prescott lit the commanders up, dude.
Like 20th straight, get this,
20th straight NFC East home win.
So when the Cowboys played home against an NFC East team,
they're winning.
Oh, by the way, did you see there were no shutters or blinds over the windows?
It was the 3.30 Eastern start the shadows from the sun
are absolutely ridiculous. I'm glad we didn't hear too much about it.
But he became, most importantly, Doc Prescott,
he became the Cowboys franchise all-time leader in passing touchdowns.
And that is a franchise with Troy Aitman, by the way, and Tony Romo.
Dak went 26 to 31, 279 yards, four touchdowns.
But once again, Dallas struggled to run the ball.
Dak had 26 of their 6 to 6 rushing yards.
It seems like quarterbacks are throwing it a lot more this year.
Rushing games for certain teams aren't getting to go.
and for as good as they should be up front with all those dudes defensively,
they're still giving up an average defensively,
and this pains me to say this,
almost 175 yards a game for the first two games.
That is not a winning formula.
They're going to play a much better team than commanders.
Cowboys are lucky that they're one-in-one,
and there was obviously, like, when you go to the commander side of things,
a clear lack of wind in the commander's sales
when Jay and Daniels got hurt, Marcus Muriota,
can only do so much.
So what this means for Dallas,
you get a divisional win,
but there are still more questions and answers for the team that had high expectations coming into the year.
I'm not going to lie.
I thought that this would be one of the Cowboys years, and I'm just not quite too sure.
Dag Prescott, though, legitimate top 10 quarterback.
He will be in the breakdown on Tuesday.
We will be breaking down his entire film, and you will see every single throw that I deem possible for.
Remember that comes out on Tuesday on my channel, Chase Daniel.
Chase Daniel official is the name of it.
And then for the commanders, I put a fork in them, season done.
I think if Jayden Nano's ops for surgery, which I think he should,
it's going to be very hard to have a winning season with a new OC.
Once again, so commanders fans, sorry about your luck.
This football season, whether you're buying tickets, booking travel,
or shopping for team gear, protect your pocket with Visa.
Tapping to pay for a bootleg jersey without checking the card,
not a pro move.
Tapping to pay with Visa, that's a pro move.
Visa runs more than 500 security checks to help identify fraud before transactions are approved,
helping protect your payment all the way to the end zone so you can focus on other things.
Like whether boneless wings are actually wings.
Reaching for your card with five fingers covered in buffalo sauce, that's a fumble waiting to happen.
Not a pro move.
Tapping to pay with Visa, now that's a pro move.
because with Visa, you're not responsible for any charges you didn't make.
So you can save your defensive energy for something else like keeping Taylor away from your nachos.
This season, a great defensive play is paying with Visa,
the most trusted way to pay for football fans everywhere.
All right, guys, now we are getting to segment three of the show.
It is called the Hurry Up Offense.
We are going to spend no more than one minute going through every single game
for all you fantasy owners and all you film junkies out there.
All right, let's go back to the Thursday night game Lions at Bill's.
Lions 31, Bill's 41, quite honestly.
This was not even as close as you would think it would be.
More importantly, Josh Allen, he's the beast.
Yes, the beast.
MVP type level.
I'm not going to say he's the MVP right now because it's week two, and I don't love doing that.
But he's the best player in football.
The Lions defense is a major issue.
446 yards of total offense for the bills.
over 200 on the ground.
So it's not just all Josh Allen, James Cook's going on and going and getting rolling,
but I'm telling you right now, DJ Moore got hurt.
I think he got injured.
It is super impressive what Joe Brady and Josh Allen are doing.
Man, he's really good.
All right, next game.
Packers at the Jets.
Packers 20, Jets 17, one of the two overtime games of the weekend.
We talked about the earlier one, Chiefs, Coles.
Packers, please, what is happening to this offense?
The Packers had less than 200 yards of total offense.
It is a very hard watch for me.
Obviously, you know, Jayden Reed got injured.
You lost some other receivers.
I don't know the identity.
And I think that's the hardest thing to understand
about the Packers right now is what is their identity.
I thought the Jets were gonna win.
And look, the Jets, maybe they're
better, but the Jets can be really pesky this season.
Like, Gino Smith, and the weapons that they have on the ground, I just think in general,
like Frank Reich is dialing it up, offensive coordinator.
Garrett Wilson is showing out, and more importantly, the Packers, your offensive line is
struggling and you're getting one of the best players in football, I think.
Jordan Love could be a weird one, but you're getting him killed, so don't do that anymore.
That'd be great.
Let's go to the Eagles Titans.
You may be seeing in my top six quarterbacks, which I film on the breakdown, which will be at on Tuesday,
you may see Jalen Hurts up there as a top six quarterback because boy, oh boy, did he ever show out.
I love the way he played the position of quarterback.
Yes, the pick in the red zone was very bad.
He looked straight at the guy and said, here, catch it.
And I get it.
Stuff happens.
Understand.
After that moment, though, he locked in.
Like, it hurts through two interceptions.
they still needed a game-winning drive to beat the Titans,
but guess what, the Eagles get their first ever win in Nashville?
And when you talk about the Eagles, you've got to talk about the way that Jalen Hertz
has played.
He's looked a lot better.
That film between Devante Smith and that film between the connection of Devante Smith
and Jalen Hertz is pretty good.
It's pretty good.
I have enjoyed it.
Titans, man, I thought you guys were going to get your first win.
Brian Dayball came more, looked a little bit better.
Gotta play better defense, though.
All right, let's go to this one.
This was a little surprising to me.
Steelers three Patriots, 20.
Steelers, what?
Three points?
By the way, I thought Aaron Rogers got bent backwards today.
It was bad.
But good teams went ugly, and this game was absolutely hideous.
It was a very Mike Grable game.
Drake May does not look like he did last year.
Aaron Rogers has attempted 12 passes.
How about this?
Of 20 plus yards downfield this year
without completing one.
It's the most attempts in the NFL
for two game stretch
without a completion since 2022.
They can't get going.
D.K. McCaff, where are you?
They got to get a run game going.
Mike McCarthy, welcome back.
But very, very ugly game.
All right, let's get next up.

Another quarterback who's also in my top six quarterbacks.
That's Panthers 34, Falcon 3.
And by the quarterback, I'm talking Bryce Young.
Through two games.
Bryce Young has 648 passing yards and 6 touchdowns.
He is a franchise quarterback.
Make no mistake about it.
He is your guy.
Can't believe you didn't sign him a fifth year option.
Get this dude locked up.
Falcons have yet to run a play from the Red Zone this season.
How's your season going?
Without Tua, without Michael Pinnock's.
Jack Strand, you're in there.
Cooper Rush, you're in there.
Camaro Taylor from Mississippi State could play quarterback better.
I'm just calling it right now.
Let's go to the most surprising game of the entire day.
That's Browns versus Bucks.
Browns 23 bucks 19.
Deshawn Watson was very good, actually.
2430, 238 yards and two touchdowns.
But they need to help him in the run game.
He's been the team's leading rusher in both games this year.
You cannot win like that.
What's even more interesting is the Shador Sanders reports that came out before the Browns even play.
to snap and I'm guessing Deshaun, like he said in the media, expected him to throw for 500 yards.
No, but he shut everyone up. He at least gets another week. He goes back home next week.
You better believe that the Browns fans are going to boo him, even though he won in Tampa.
And I love Denzel Boston. I love Casey Concepcion, Harold Fanon, all these guys.
They have a really good core of young studs for weapons. And then Bucks, what are we doing?
What are we doing?
I think there's still some time go.
O and two, though, like season, probably put a work in it.
It's an easier division.
Ah, not good.
All right, let's go to the Raiders at Chargers.
We're going to spend a little bit of time on this
because Chargers, what in the hell is going on?
Raiders win 26 to 14.
And the Chargers are 0 and 2 to start the year
with having the Cardinals and the Raiders
as their first two games.
Let me just tell you,
Their next seven games.
At the Bills, at the Seahawks, home versus the Broncos, at Chiefs, at Rams, home versus the Texans, at Ravens.
Are you kidding me?
I don't think they're going to be 0 and 9.
But goodness, they have to get that stuff fixed.
Harbaugh has never been 0.2 in his career.
Get that for a minute.
Harbaal's never been 0.2.
The offense looks boring.
They scored 14 points both weeks against bad defenses.
And Drew Locke, by the way, he put up 31 points versus Cardinals, who the Chargers.
who the Chargers lost to last week.
31 points from a backup quarterback,
MIS, by the way.
I don't know what's going on.
I'm going to have to dive deeper into the film
on the breakdown show,
and we're going to have to figure it out
because I got no clue.
I thought Mike McNeill would unlock this offense.
Shout out Will Compton.
He thought the same thing.
I just don't know what's going on.
And they showed a shot of Herbert at the end.
It just looks completely dejected.
All right.
Dolphins at 49ers.
I don't know if the Dolphers are going to win a game this year.
Oh, I don't know who they're throwing it to.
Malik Willis.
Oh, my gosh.
49ers, though, 35, Dolphins 13.
Brock Purdy.
He's going to be in my top six quarterbacks.
Baller.
Probably playing in the position of quarterback better than anyone else in the NFL right now.
20 of 22, 287, two touchdowns, and they were 5 to 7 on third down.
Not only is it a great percentage, but five of seven, you only have seven third downs.
that means you're getting a lot of first downs on first and second down.
Amazing.
I mean, they killed the Dolphins with extreme efficiency.
George Kittle got going.
People forgot about the 49ers in the offseason.
Being in a division with the Rams and the Seahawks,
no one's talking about them.
Now they look like one of the better teams in the entire division,
49ers 35, Dolphins 13.
All right, let's go on to the last game.
Seahawks, Cardinals, Drew Locke, let's go.
M-I-Z, Z-O-U, 31-7.
It was tied, 7-7 to 7-5 time.
But one team had JSN.
Nine catches 155 yards.
He had the longest of his career.
And three total touchdowns.
They have scored the Cardinals 24-0 in the second half,
and they suffocated Arizona,
as they only had 151 yards.
How about this?
The Seahawks get to 2-0 with Drew Locke as their quarterback.
He made some amazing throws,
and I'm not even sure when Sam Droner was going to be back.
They're getting it checked out.
Could be back next week,
but if you're playing like this,
and you can go 3-0 with Drew Locke,
and you start talking about them as Super Bowl favorites.
All right, let's get into the two-minute drill.
This is the final segment of the show.
It is just my final thoughts about anything and everything that I want.
And my final thoughts this week are about Patrick Mahomes.
Like, I'm sitting here, and I've re-watched already the Sunday night game,
and I've watched everything about it.
The dude looks completely healthy.
Everything about this chief team screams that the chief just took a year off last year.
relax. I am officially stating right here and right now that Patrick Mahomes and the
Chiefs are officially back. They have a run game. They have Kenneth Walker. They have Travis
Kelsey looking earlier younger than ever. Pac-Wan Thornton had a heck of a game. They ran
WASP by the way. That Super Bowl play against Tampa Bay Buccaneers on 3rd and 15. The throw
didn't get more than seven feet off the ground. And no, I'm not some, like, I'm just, I think
the Chiefs is still the Chiefs. Sometimes they just got to reload and they rebuilt and they
added some other guys. Yes, that offensive line, they need to get going, but I am super
pumped about the Kansas City Chiefs. That's probably my biggest takeaway. The other thing I'm
watching, how does Tyson Bejant play in Chicago? Because the Chicago Bears are a good team. Gotta
fix the offense. It was the weather. It was best of both worlds. Don't let one loss Chicago
Bears derail your entire season. I'm hopeful that it's a grade one.
which I think is the least worse hamstring.
How is he going to play?
How is Marcus Marriota going to play?
There's a lot of backups going to be in big spots
throughout the next couple of weeks
to see if they can keep their teams alive.
And I'm just, I'm pumped about this show, guys.
I really love what we've done with this show.
I've really loved that you guys have seen it.
Please comment, like, subscribe,
anything and everything that you want to do
because maybe we'll have a segment next time.
where you're asking Chase. Maybe we'll live tweet some stuff. Maybe we'll do all this stuff.
Remember, the breakdown. Okay, it comes Tuesday, and we are going to be breaking down this week.
You're here here first. Dak Prescott, going to be at least a 20-minute long. I love the way he's
playing football. We're going to break down Brock Purdy, and you know we are going to break down
Patrick Mahomes. I'm super excited about it. Let's keep this thing rolling, man. Thank you guys so much.
