Starting point is 00:00:00 Ahoy me mates and happy Spooktober. We have a bit of a slate here, week nine of the NFL season. What's the first game you might ask? Well, that's got to be Denver at Houston. As you to see who's favored in that game. Minnesota at Detroit, Indianapolis versus Pittsburgh. Aaron Rogers, can he do it? He hasn't in the last couple of weeks.
Starting point is 00:00:17 We'll go find out, shall we? Arizona, haven't won a game in forever, have they, no they have not. Dallas Cowboys, ass. And then Kansas City at Buffalo. Let's look at the standings from last week. Will Compton, have volunteers. Very nice. Delaney Walker, say what you want about him. He's consistent.
Starting point is 00:00:35 And a bit of a marsh in the middle. Great show today. Please subscribe. This is an I-Heart podcast. Guaranteed Human. Hey, guys, it's us. The Jonas Brothers. I'm Joe. And you did something in the last show, the caller show that we just shot a little bit ago.
Starting point is 00:04:02 Yeah. You put 18 milligrams in a nicotine. I did the same thing. I did it. I just put it in. I'm fired up to see how I feel about 25 minutes. Can't wait, dude. I wish there was an Aladdin costume around here, dude.
Starting point is 00:04:13 I want somebody to show me the world. Have you seen... Wait, are you? Are you Pete? You Pete? He ain't about to get me. I'm just asking what are you dressed up as? Lumberjay.
Starting point is 00:04:28 Oh, shit. Hey, did you play with that linebacker for San Francisco? Went to Ole Miss? Patrick. Pete Willis? Willis, dick fit in your mouth? Let's start the show, boys. How do you feel?
Starting point is 00:04:43 And you knew. Michael was just got God. That's why I said Patrick. Yeah, you probably smart to put this. on there. Hell of a show we got for you guys. We got a whole sleigh going on. Clay knew something. Man, here we go. I knew something was like, I know
Starting point is 00:04:57 who it is. I know who it is. And Michael Myers. Hey, shout out club. What did you get yesterday? That's what the mask was off. You got clay. You didn't get Michael Myers though. No one ever gets Michael Myers. No.
Starting point is 00:05:09 Michael Myers and Jason Borges might be the two most difficult people to get with a dick joke. Oh, of course. Yeah, yeah, yeah. They don't speak. What is your, do you have a character name in mind? Here we go with the fucking grill again, man. Has the camera zoomed in on Delaney?
Starting point is 00:05:21 Wesley Snipes from Blade. Good one. Good one. You look good. Yeah, yeah, yeah. But I'm the black guy from Twilight. There's a black guy in Twilight? It wasn't.
Starting point is 00:05:31 He should have been one. It sounds like brought through my brain right there. It wasn't it, but it should have been one. Hey, weren't you a Twilight guy? Love Twilight. Oh, the dreads. He got the dreads. Shout out.
Starting point is 00:05:42 And he was sick, too. Shout out. He was sick, too. Yeah, I'll take that. This girl is way better than your other girl. Yeah, I can talk with this one. Yeah, you can talk with that one big time. Yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 00:05:51 Yeah, yeah, yeah. Well, when you got both of them in, it's like, yeah. Yeah. Yeah. You, like, when I was looking at you in your eyes, it's kind of hard to keep eye contact with you, because it is pretty scary. But I was thinking of those eyes, just,
Starting point is 00:06:06 I see them in 30 days a night. Mm-hmm. When the girl's just on the ground praying, like she's like, God, or please God. And he's like, he like, bends down and looks at it. He looks at it and he looks up in the sky, looks back down on her, shakes his head, no God. That was all, yeah.
Starting point is 00:06:20 30 days and nights. That's a good movie. That's a creepy movie right there. 30 days a night. Was that Josh Hartnett? That's in Alaska, right? That movie's in Alaska. Okay, yeah, I've seen that.
Starting point is 00:06:31 Because it's night for 30 days. And the vampires get after it. And they're like 28 days later, 28 weeks later, now they're doing 28 years later. Yeah, it just came out. Have you seen it? I saw it. I'll look that in a little bit.
Starting point is 00:06:42 How was it? You know what you are my movie guy? All right. It's good, but it's, It's not, it's less about the zombies. It's more about the emotional connection between a father's son and a mother's son. She's battling an illness, you know, they venture out a little bit. So it's more about, it's more of a Hollywood flick, less of kind of suspense. Still has to do with the virus and whatnot and what they have to do to survive, but I think
Starting point is 00:07:06 it's more kind of tugs on your, you know, your heart in regard to the relationship with your parents. Did you tear up? No. Was it a cure involved? There is not a cure. Okay. They just have to be smart about how they, you know, they don't get infected.
Starting point is 00:07:20 So we're going to go 28 years, years later. 28 decades later. Oh, decades. Okay, yeah. It's part of the move after that. Colonized Mars. Part of the move. What's been your favorite spook this year?
Starting point is 00:07:32 You're my be rated film fella. You like the fucked up stuff. You introduced me to who's the fucked up. Terrorfire. Yeah, terrifier. Right now, I really haven't been watching any newer films that came out. I've just been watching, oh, like, I'm a fan of The Living Dead. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:07:56 So I've been watching all of those. I've just been going back, just re-watching those, just because I feel like those are great horror cult films that you cannot miss, and you always got to go back and just check them out. So I've been watching The Living Dead just pretty much all, every season, every episode. They got TV shows and they got the movies out. Spooked To Overall always fucks me up
Starting point is 00:08:20 because there's only 31 days of fright and I like to get myself a little bit in every single night but when I'm going I'm like do I want to take a risk
Starting point is 00:08:28 at this newer movie or do I want to hit my classics and like I always do and I always lean back on the classics When I saw last year man it was about the
Starting point is 00:08:38 talk show It was like late night with the devil Oh with the devil yes And that movie was good For if it's a two hour
Starting point is 00:08:45 movie The first hour and 45 minutes are incredible. Super original, well done. That last 15 minutes lost me, though. Yeah, yeah. I was like fucking kind of ruined it for me.
Starting point is 00:08:56 Yeah, it was like he sold it sold to the devil. Yeah, yeah, yeah. No spoilers, no spoilers. No spoilers. No spoilers. Have you guys watched, this is off the whore stuff? Have you guys watched Chad Powers? No yet.
Starting point is 00:09:08 Oh, you guys need to watch that show. It is like Hulu came and like they bought advertisement with us and gave us access to watch it a little bit early. and I saw the first couple episodes then I kind of ran through before the last one I'm telling Will bro you've got to watch a show it's awesome we got on the plane last week
Starting point is 00:09:26 we'll finish the finale which Jack have you seen it we'll talk tonight show's incredible how many episodes six six they each an hour long no they're shorter I think the finale is 35 minutes
Starting point is 00:09:39 27 they're not long buddy you just power through them yeah yeah and it's really good are you familiar with the chat powers bit I am. Can I get your Hulu login? You don't have Hulu? You got Disney plus?
Starting point is 00:09:51 I might have Hulu because I got ESPN Plus. Then you got it. I can lose money on UFC. You got it. Yeah. It's all three bundles. Yeah, they all bundles. That way, and it'd be crazy if I just give you my login for your Hulu.
Starting point is 00:10:02 Like, though, you can get it. Oh, like, you take care of your boys. I mean, I would take care. I'd take care of you. I'm just thinking perspective while I zoom out. It's like just, you know, you get a seven-day free trial. Just knock it out and make sure to go. I don't think you do anymore.
Starting point is 00:10:17 And also like taking care of your boys. I'm always going to take care of my boys, but I'm not worried about the three of you. I got a lot of other boys that I didn't take care of before. I just want to trial run. I just want to trial run and see if it's worth, who's worth it? And you're over here like, bro, high school will?
Starting point is 00:10:31 Like you would have done that. Oh, no. Absolutely. What happened? No. So you're telling me money. Not the stories I heard about this, man. Not in college.
Starting point is 00:10:38 Whoa, whoa, hang on. Just, just, you're right. But I'm in the camp of, you know, the dish and the login. I was Clay asking for Loggins. Oh, you was that. Yeah. Okay, that might be correct, but you're not the guy that's like,
Starting point is 00:10:53 look it out for your boys. Damn. If I had a subscription. Will Compton, Missouri, and he's got his four boys with them. One of them forgets their lunch money. They go, Will, can you give me this burrito? Well, I was like, Doc. Wow.
Starting point is 00:11:05 You got to get your own burrito. Oh, you're the type of guy who's- eating my burrito. Because I'm the guy that was like, yo, can somebody buy me this burrito? Will seems like the type of guy. If somebody had asked him for a ride home, he'd say no, get an Uber. You know what I'm saying? I'm that, yeah.
Starting point is 00:11:18 No, you're not that guy. Aren't you charging people with him over to watch stuff? Oh, that's why. No, no, no, no. If I'm, say, say, say, Clay and I say, I'm the one who had the subscription in high school or college, and Clay wanted to be on it. And it's just us, too. I'd be like, hey, let's go 50-50 on this subscription.
Starting point is 00:11:35 Bro, you had a scholarship. I was a walk-on. Like, I didn't even have it like that. I couldn't eat with you boys at the mess hall. I was just like a nobody. And you wouldn't take care of me? You'd start to tug on my heartstrings by telling me. me that and then I pull up the wiki on mr. Missouri I'm back buddy I know I know we can get this
Starting point is 00:11:53 bro the money was different back then daddy had to play 19 years to support five kids this isn't this isn't this isn't aided Hutchinson getting paid 45 million a year that's congrats by the way that was awesome but you'd invite me over to a barbecue or something then I'd find my way to soil you with your parents to where then it's like oh will you don't need to be doing that will oh yeah thank you if I could live in we're trying to to mooch up his boy. You should have seen how I lived in college is all I'm saying. Took no hand-me-outs from daddy other than tuition.
Starting point is 00:12:25 Needed those first two years. That's been to $50,000 a year. I would have put you on. I would have put you on at my school, right? New Yorker-Rit-School, yeah. I would have put you on at my school. I would have been like, look, this is how we do it. We're going to steal backpacks.
Starting point is 00:12:37 We're going to take those books. Free bikes. Clit the locks on them. Yeah. We're going to sell them back. Repain that bread. I'm going to make sure you got money. I would have gave you the hug.
Starting point is 00:12:46 I would have been like, Like, that's what we're doing. That's why we look so good. You know what we called that in college? What? Shopping. That's what you're going to? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:12:53 We go over the frats and we see all these kids. We'd be like, fuck these kids, man. And we go up to their rooms and find stuff. I'm like, pawned off. That's crazy, bro. I'm going to take it, but I ain't selling it. I know. I never sold.
Starting point is 00:13:05 I never Cam Newton. I just, I just, no, I just would get stuff for me. Oh, there's a shirt in there? Oh, there's a shirt in there. Oh, there's a shirt in there. Oh, my dad. But we went to do a frat one time. And we guys are gonna be in these guys.
Starting point is 00:13:17 Let's go up in their room and take their shit. So we go upstairs. We're at this frat party. And we're all kind of doing whatever. And the frat guys were kind of like posturing on us a little bit. And so we go upstairs and they have this like big room. There's a bunch of bedrooms, but at the end of the hall, there's this massive room, kind of like a den.
Starting point is 00:13:32 And we took a fire extinguish her to the whole thing. And I went to the piss. I came back and there was one frat got by himself. He was like, do you do this? I was like, do what? Oh, they did that? Oh, they did that. He goes, I gotta clean all this.
Starting point is 00:13:47 I'm a freshman. Oh, man. I was like, man. Did he think you was in a fret? No. Oh. No, I was redshirting. Bad boy.
Starting point is 00:13:54 Do you think that's why you might have slipped to the second tackle pick in it? Third tackle pick in the draft. Who is? Greg Robertson was before your cousin. Then your cousin was before me. That's what I'm just saying, but like Jake would have never done that. No, and actually, you know what's funny? Two thousand nights.
Starting point is 00:14:12 Those made you feel a little uncomfortable. You're like, ah, yeah, I got to. Oh yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah. 2018, the staff that was there at the Falcons, they were like working somewhere else and they came and they're like, hey, we want you to know. The reason why we took Jake in front of you was because of the off the field stuff. But at this point, Jake's obviously still playing. The game continuously goes.
Starting point is 00:14:36 Like, looking back on it, we should have got you. That's what they said. Jake's still playing at a very high level. Yeah. This is just 2018. This is seven years ago. They just got it. I wasn't implying by the dolphins.
Starting point is 00:14:49 I mean, dummy. Yeah, but dude, I'm telling you, Jake is still playing high-level ball. No, when they told me about Taylor, they just said he was a knucklehead, but that's what we wanted, though. But that's what we wanted because I like guys who will punch you in the face. And clearly, Taylor was that. I didn't know that at first, but that dude. He earned your respect. To get some of the pressure off of me and my character being driven away from being 21 years old.
Starting point is 00:15:14 I love to live in a twilight zone going back to you being a walk-on and you being a scholarship athlete. I love to be in a twilight world where you guys are at the same school. Bro. And like walk-on scholarship guy. No, I wouldn't that? And comp. Like Mr. Missouri. No, we'd have been boys.
Starting point is 00:15:30 Five-star athlete. No, you would not have been boys with me. I'm trying to get my micro-economics homework done. I'm riding my bike to and from campus. I didn't party. Didn't drink, didn't smoke. I wasn't any good at football. Nobody wanted anything to do with me.
Starting point is 00:15:46 So you know what I did? I just lived in the weight room. Just grinding. You know what I'm saying? Just film study. Nah. Well, hang on. What's your perception of me in college?
Starting point is 00:15:57 I just, yeah, probably like the man. You know what I'm saying? Like, like, yeah, without getting mean, like you were the man. Hey, yeah. For a show, good little man. I want to hear some of the nasty things. Oh, I'm just saying, like, you probably, like, that's why you, like, that's why you,
Starting point is 00:16:13 love going back. Those are the prime years of your life. Like you were the man for four or five years, whatever you were doing there. So are you saying, are you saying Will peaked in college? I'm not saying that. I'm just saying like he'd be wrong because I peaked in high school. He'd be wrong because I peaked in high school. No, I'm just, I'm just, I got, I got, I'm just, that's the type of guy I think you were. Like, came, did you, like, I don't even know your college and you start three years, four years. I know you went undrafted. I started a couple games. This is my freshman year, a few my sophomore year, and then started junior and senior. Did you get any awards junior and senior year?
Starting point is 00:16:51 Like defensive MVP. Oh, but what? Blue Bono. For the team? For the team. What about like- You're talking about awards? No, no, no.
Starting point is 00:16:59 Second team, second team all big 10. I was second team packed 10, buddy. By the end, we were about the same. Yeah. You know, maybe we would have been boys in college. You guys for sure. Like, here and you'd be like, I didn't drink, didn't smoke, didn't do nothing. I wasn't perfect like that, but I didn't drink.
Starting point is 00:17:17 I didn't do a whole lot of that. Yeah. Yeah. We'd have been in the way where we'd have been grinding. You would have spotted me. Yeah, absolutely. I mean, y'all would have been in the same room, right? Because he was a walk-on.
Starting point is 00:17:27 Do what? Yeah, we would have been in the same room. Do you think you would have treated, you would have treated Clay any differently because he was a walk-ons? How did you treat the walk-ons there? Can we go link up with some of the walk-ons? I don't know why I'm in this place of how I treat, like, we'd have been boys. No, we don't get treated. We don't get treated real well, walk-ons.
Starting point is 00:17:41 Yeah. There's a negative connotation of being a walk-on. I mean, you think about Delaney the way he talks to free agents. There is. There is. I'm just glad that. Delaney and I weren't at that scene. I didn't do that in college, though.
Starting point is 00:17:52 In college, I loved everyone, even to walk-on. You were a Missouri-South. But I was the biggest person there, so I could have treated people like shit. Like, I knew I was going somewhere after here. I mean, man. I wasn't carrying the connotation with walk-ons, like, to the walk-on. Like, I kind of rocked with everybody. Like, I would have been the guy where you guys.
Starting point is 00:18:10 You guys are embracing the suck of being a walk-on. And if we're walking by the equipment room, like I'm busing the equipment room, I'm busting their balls because they're not hooking you up. When you guys need some socks. Or if you're like, hey, if you say you were a young walk-on, and I happen to be a junior or senior, and you're like, dude, we can't even get extra socks.
Starting point is 00:18:28 I'll go get you some socks. That's nice. Yeah. Guarre. You're guaranteed walk-on. You're talking about my hair? Yeah, audio. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 00:18:40 I was cool with everybody. All right. That's good to hear. I was cool with everybody. Just checking you. You're just checking that because the Hulu Logging thing, huh? I just want to know what type of guy you are. That's all.
Starting point is 00:18:50 Okay. Great week of games coming out. Yeah, great weeks. Thanks, Taylor. Good been boys for sure. Oh, maybe there's like some tension. Oh, yeah, it is a USC Nebraska week. Oh, yeah.
Starting point is 00:19:01 Oh, yeah, that's right. I forgot about that. U.S. New York is playing this week. Hey, good luck, man. You flying out there running the team out of the huddle, planting the flag. These are my greatest years.
Starting point is 00:19:15 All black going to your own funeral. That's why we're already one in this show. He keeps saying like you didn't have no good years in NFL. All black going to your own funeral. It was a great line. He got to talkers than him in 2015 when he got the Pro Bowl.
Starting point is 00:19:30 Y'all got to make it bet for the game. It was his name. It was his name. It was his name. It was his name. It was his name. Yeah, y'all got to make a bet. The bed is Nebraska wins. He has to concede is Pro Bowl in 2015 and I am now slotted as a Pro Bowl. Wikipedia, they don't be sliding on over to yours.
Starting point is 00:19:48 How many votes did my man get in 2015 for Pro Bowl? Let's look it up. Goodell, you know. Damn, okay. Yeah, thank you, JP. Because JP was voting over and over. I'll tell you what, man. Being of Matthews must have been a pretty easy life.
Starting point is 00:20:05 Wow. Wow. Must have been pretty easy, huh? I think it just comes easy, right? Who's that, uh, Chale Sutton? You think? We'll have to clean her come three times a week. What do you think we're doing those other four days?
Starting point is 00:20:16 Yeah, and listen. I had to clean it. My dad barely made six figures, but you know, we didn't get made. Back then, bro. Back then. I was being chilled, Sonnen. But you're right. Salary wasn't the same.
Starting point is 00:20:28 Daddy had to keep playing. You know, it was interesting. My dad played a year 19 in Atlanta. And then year 20, Baltimore Ravens reached out to him. They said, hey, we got a young linebacker out of Miami. Number 52. We'd love for you to, you know, to kind of show the ropes and whatnot. Oh, Ray Lewis.
Starting point is 00:20:45 But dad had five kids. My sister was a sophomore in high school. That's how long he played. He was 40 years old. He had to shut it down. Had to shut it down. But he was still moving. Still moving.
Starting point is 00:20:58 I think he led the team in Saxon as 39, 40 years old. That is crazy. 40 years old. But yeah, it comes easy, though. You know what I'm saying? Like, we just fall into plays, get money. You know what I'm saying? scholarships everywhere. No scholarships, no burn. I had to earn it on special teams.
Starting point is 00:21:17 Prove myself versus Michigan and the Rose Bowl. 2007 versus Nebraska. I had to find these games to, you know, elevate myself. Oh, that was already there. We sold that. Yeah. Done that. We moved out to Nashville. It was big. 14,000 square feet. All right. Okay. Okay. I'm saying. How about this show, though? How about this show? You guys? I'm about the games.
Starting point is 00:21:43 Let's do it. Broncos are at Texans. Texans are favored by one and a half against Will Compton's Denver Broncos. Total points that game is 39 and a half points. Clay, you've been talking a lot at the show. What do you got? Yeah. Well, let's keep it going.
Starting point is 00:21:56 Broncos look good. Broncos have been rolling. Five in a row, Bo Nicks, those for four touchdowns. Who's this, R.J. Harvey. Yeah. I had to look him on nowhere. Yeah. J.K. Dobbins run for over 150 yards.
Starting point is 00:22:09 They account for three touchdowns, and their defense forces MVP DAC in two, two interceptions and two sacks. I don't know where I got my information from last week, thinking that the Cowboys could outgun, outdule the Denver Broncos. So I'm going to learn from that, and you'll see in a couple picks from now, who I pick between the Cardinals and the Cowboys. So my bad in that regard.
Starting point is 00:22:35 But I'll tell you who doesn't play like the Cowboys, that's the Texans defense. They look good. They look real good against the 49ers. But what I will say is I think they had the success they did offensively, strictly because of the attrition and the injuries the 49ers have. No Nick Bosa, no Warner, no huff. C.J. Stroud looked incredibly comfortable in the pocket, made every throw he needed to, completed on a lot of those third and shorts. But I think that's the difference in the game this week.
Starting point is 00:23:04 I think the Broncos pass rush gets after CJ in their, I think their 30th ranked pass protection, whatever it is, whatever metric it is to measure that old line. And they get the dub right here. Now, listen, Stroud has only been, I know you love my stats. Stroud has only been sacked 15 times this year, which is for middle of the pack. But the three games where he's been sacked at least three times, O in three. And what team Delaney leads the league in sacks? The Broncos.
Starting point is 00:23:31 The Bronco. So give me the Broncos money. line at plus 110. I like that pick. I love that pick. Yeah. And you're right about those Cowboys. We'll get to the Cowboys in a little bit.
Starting point is 00:23:42 We'll get to them. But Bo Nix and the Broncos usually starts slow. First quarter is always had the roughest time. And then they throw a pick in the first drive of the game against the Cowboys to where you're thinking, hey, maybe that guy that was talking to the Cowboys is pretty smart. Bad throw. Bad throw. Bad throw.
Starting point is 00:23:55 Ends it being their best start in the first quarter they've ever had after they hold the Cowboys to three points who has a high-flying offense because their defense is that good. I love their run game. I love their defense. Where are the two things that travel, run game and defense. I'm taking the Broncos. And I'll take a money line as well. Love it. I mean, y'all said pretty much everything.
Starting point is 00:24:17 One thing y'all didn't speak on was the Texans O line, and that's the concern right there. The Texans O'Line is. You said something about Texan O'Land? 30th rates. Oh, yeah, they're very terrible. Like you said, the Broncos lead. They're leading the leading sacks.
Starting point is 00:24:30 They're fifth in a few points, yards of loud. I just don't see the Texans. is winning this game. I'm going to follow suit and take money line with you, boys. I think I'm going Houston. I think I'm going Houston. I was watching that game against the Niners last week. And their offense, in totality, they're the 17th offense in the league.
Starting point is 00:24:52 They kind of started slow the first half of the year. But their last three games, they're fourth in the league in total offense. And when you watch, like Niners, like they come. They're prepared. They're urgent. Like dudes still fly around. I know that they have a lot. lot of injuries going on, but still the Niners have been playing salty, top to bottom.
Starting point is 00:25:10 And looking at Houston, 14 plays they held the Niners to in the first half. Four, 14 total plays in the first half. Four plays punt, three and out, three and out. Four plays that started at the Houston 35 was the touchdown that the Niners had, where Kittle had that great catching traffic. The Houston defense is for real. I do think that they will give the Broncos problems. And outside of that, they gave up of 12-played drive for a touchdown
Starting point is 00:25:36 and another eight-play drive that ended in an interception. Like they're very opportunistic. And the Houston defense, let me see here. The Houston offense, my apologies, 16-played drive in the first half, nine-played drive, 10-played drive, 11-play drive, and they had a 12-play drive for a touchdown, 10-played drive for a field goal. They only punted one time, and then they iced the game.
Starting point is 00:25:58 I think their offense is coming along. I think C.J. Stroud, he's looking a lot more comfortable, that you were alluding to. They're getting a lot more creative on offense. I think they're coming alive. I think that they get this one out at home in Houston. Houston minus one and a half is what your boys going with. I love the Broncos.
Starting point is 00:26:15 I think the Broncos are still going to win that division. I just think Houston is kind of catching a stride right now. Their defense is legit, and I think they give problems to the Broncos offense. A crazy stat that happened in the first half was at one point the 49ers had 10 plays and the Texans had 10 first downs. That's how much time position they took over. Yeah, dude. In the first half, it was crazy.
Starting point is 00:26:37 Fourteen. The Niners' offense, 14 plays in the first half. Yeah. And complimented with that, the Houston offense, having all those double-digit play series, getting points out of it. Like, they're good, man. And the 49ers had like two or three more defensive line and hurt.
Starting point is 00:26:53 To the point where they got dudes coming off the street right now. They're about to call Clay. Broncos defense is nasty. I love watching them play. Yeah. I mean, they're missing a key point. Patrick is not going to be out there. Right, Certainin is not in there.
Starting point is 00:27:06 So, I mean, that front end, I feel like they'll keep C.J. off his marks and give the D.Bs who's coming out there time to cover. But when you lose a pro bowl, all pro, the corner like that, it's tough. It's tough. But you also see, like, he went out early in the game. Yeah, and they still ball. Sealeam, George Pickens, Ferguson. And they still ball. And they still did a great job of scheming up and all that.
Starting point is 00:27:31 Like it was, it's impressive what that defense can do. No, definitely. I mean, that's John Payton. Y'all know what time it is. And he only gets better, November. Next game, Vikings at Lions. J.J. McCarthy starting for the Vikings this week. Carson Wentz.
Starting point is 00:27:45 My God. Like, I had three. Playing on a broken chain. Jesus Christ. Lions are favored. Spooky Lion, eight and a half. And the total points in that game is 48 and a half. I think this is Lions all the way.
Starting point is 00:27:57 It's a division game. there's no like hey this team is down like the lines you know this is a put your foot on their throat type of game they're playing that they just paid their defense event whatever two billion dollars this is a game for them they're going to cover they're going to win this game by multiple touchdowns uh this is a dan campbell football game right here yeah i love lines minus eight and a half yeah this is it's a big line but again it's like j j j mccarthy starting carson wince was playing on a broken shoulder j j j was medically cleared to play i feel like there's a sense there like, hey, if he was ready to go,
Starting point is 00:28:28 and Wins is out there looking the way Wynch was, it was almost just sad to watch. He'll get this dude, just get him off the feet. Do you think he was forced to play? Of course. No, I think Wins. He's a, he's a Dakota kid. He's one of the Dakotus.
Starting point is 00:28:40 Can you play? Yes, I can play. But sometimes deep down, sometimes we need to sit out and understand that. If we let one more week to let this injury hill, we'll be better off doing that. But it's football. If the coach come and be like, can you play?
Starting point is 00:28:53 We need you. I'm there, coach. I'm there, coach. I don't know. I don't know, yeah, but I did that before. You did that before, right? Yeah, but I'm not buying them coming in with an urgency of like, hey, you can go, right? Like, can you play like this is on you?
Starting point is 00:29:06 Yeah. I think that they're, like, he's a quarterback. This is in varsity blues where they, you know, go into the training room. They got a needle put up to Carson once a shoulder. They might simply lay it up like, hey, how you feel in the day? But he's just so he's going to play like the opportunity that Carson had in front of them. It's like the starting cue goes down. Here's your spot to kind of like get back in all conversations of,
Starting point is 00:29:26 creating value for yourself, whether or not you're going to stay with the Vikings or go somewhere else. You're absolutely going to be blinded to, I need to, you know, I need to kind of rest myself. You're going to, you're going to, you're going to be demanding to play. Yeah, I think if, if JJ was medically cleared to play, they're that not confident in him that they put Carson out there with the bottom shoulder? That's how I'm feeling about them going into Detroit and getting their ass up by Detroit is if J.J. McCarthy was fully ready to go. and they're still going off of Carson Wins, just him being like, I can play, I can do this, I can do this, and you're kind of questioning it,
Starting point is 00:30:03 and then you're not going to the guy that you're going to be starting in the future. That's where it's like, I feel like they have some doubts still with J.J. McCarthy. I think it gets worse for the Vikings there. I think it gets worse with McCarthy. I know we only have a short eight quarters to judge him off him, but,
Starting point is 00:30:16 as you always say, everybody says that the greatest ability is your availability. He wasn't there as rookie year. He just missed five, you know, whatever weeks it was with an ankle injury. He just played, well, what, two quarters against the Bears opening week? Yeah, who knows if that's just, you know, the Bears, we can't figure out what type of team they are. But nonetheless, I think they got a problem on their hands.
Starting point is 00:30:37 I think organizationally, they are going to take a step back. And if they had a do-over, I think we can all agree that they would have re-signed Sam Darno, which made sense at the time based on the way he played. But as you continue to look at the way Sam Darnel develops and J.J. McCarthy doesn't. I mean, they had 14 wins last year, and they'll be lucky to have half-frey. that this year. I think they've got a big problem on their hands. I love the lines to cover here. And then if we're strictly talking strategy rather than, you know, how we're feeling about the quarterback, Vikings are bottom 10 run defense. Jamir Gibbs is having a or had a career day
Starting point is 00:31:14 of lines from 200 yards, scrimmage yards. I look for him in that speed to just get off. He's going to be my anytime touchdown score. We'll talk about that later. But, um, and on top of out the lion's defense gets their whole secondary back. Brian Branch off suspension, Kirby Joseph, DJ Reed, Terry, and Arnold, I think this is bad for the Vikings, and I think they're going to be fighting with the Bears for that last place in NFC North.
Starting point is 00:31:37 Yeah. And they're coming in this weekend. It's like the Detroit Lions, like that defense, like even if they had the backup secondary, like they played their ass off. Yeah. When they were all in, everybody was replaced on the back end. Like they're coming in to Detroit
Starting point is 00:31:50 where they're hitting their stride defensively. We know what that offense can do. Aiden Hutchinson getting a huge pain. day. You're just seeing the on the outside, seeing the Halloween party that they had, Jamir Gibbs, like the vibe is just there in Detroit. Yeah. Minnesota is, I agree with you, is it looked to be in trouble for the rest of the year. The only thing you question with lines like this is culture and you're not going to find
Starting point is 00:32:11 a better culture than the lions. Oh, definitely, especially with their coached in there. I mean, you look at the Vikings, they injured inconsistent office and play. The Lions is just getting healthier. Like you said, the Byweek, they're getting some of those D.Bs back in that back end. So I just feel like the Lions is here to stay. Hopefully you can get to the ship. So let's go Lions minus 8.5.
Starting point is 00:32:33 Do everybody go Lions minus A&A? Yeah. Lions. Roll in tune. I mean, that scares me. But I don't think it should. I think that's one of the, it's Kiss Method. Keep it simple.
Starting point is 00:32:42 Yeah. Michael of Ultra. Superior is worth playing for. Superior Light beer, all the things. I'm four and six. Or your, yeah, our records four and six for my favorite scissors. Are you ready? Yeah, I'm ready.
Starting point is 00:32:53 Superior Liberia Bragging Rights Bought it down to one Mikhail of Ultra Superiors, we're playing for Hey, it's us to Jonas Brothers And guess what? We have some big news What's the news, news? Huge news. We created our own podcast called
Starting point is 00:33:19 Hey Jonas, we invented a podcast? Well, we didn't invent it. We just contributed to it. We're the first people to do podcasts. Pretty, yeah, pretty wide range of podcasts throughout there. But this one's extra special. So how do we actually come up with a name Hey Jonas, guys.
Starting point is 00:33:34 I honestly don't remember. I think it was on a call about what we should call it. Oh, we were thinking I'm originally calling it one of the early names of our band. Before Jonas Brothers was... This is how you guys remember it going down? Yes. I have a very different memory of this.
Starting point is 00:33:51 We were talking about a thing, a bit for the podcast where people could call in and say, hey, Jonas. And then I wrote down on my little notepad, Hey Jonas, Jonas, and offered it up as a potential title for the podcast. But thanks for remembering that, guys. Listen to Hey Jonas on the Iheart radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcast. Just listen. We don't care where you hear it.
Starting point is 00:34:11 What's up, fam? It's Isaiah Thomas. And I'm C.J. Toledano, and our podcast, Point Game is about defying the odds. Like LeBron heading into the playoffs without Luca and Austin Reed. And finding ways to win no matter what. He's the smartest player to ever play the game. His IQ is at a level that we've never seen before. And he knows. Without Luca and Austin Reeves, I got him.
Starting point is 00:34:31 manipulate the game. We get a player's perspective on the challenges of the playoffs. I think Joker's going to be exhausted this series because when they don't have Rudy in the lineup, he has to really guard guys like Nas Reed. He has to guard Julius Randall. And then he has to give us everything he gives us on the night-to-night basis on offense. And when IT's friends stop by, like Quentin Richardson, we dive into some playoff history too. Steve Nash would get that thing.
Starting point is 00:34:56 That man, hell get the flying. He running up the court, licking his fingers, why he got the ball like. After you go through a training camp with that, I said, you figure it out real quick. Get your ass up and down the court, and you're going to get the ball. So listen to Point Game on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. Will Ferrell's Big Money Players and IHeart Podcast presents Soccer Moms. So I'm Leanne. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:35:20 This is my best friend Janet. Hey. And we have been joined at the hips since high school. Absolutely. Now a redacted amount of years later, we're still joined at the hip, just a little bit bigger hips, wider. This is a podcast where we're. recording it as we tailgate our youth soccer games in the back of my Honda Odyssey with all the snacks and drinks sidebar why did you get hard seltzer instead of beer they had a bogo well then you
Starting point is 00:35:42 got it do you want a white collar something here just a what are y'all doing microphones are you making a rap album oh i would come on how did you boot could you imagine i would buy it cuts through the defense like a hot knife through sponge cake that sounds delicious oh you're lucky i'm not a drug addict you're You are. You are. I'm lucky I'm not a killer. I love this team, and I'm really trying to be a figure in their lives that they can rely on. Oh.
Starting point is 00:36:13 Listen to soccer moms on the Iheart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. Colts at Steelers. Colts favorite in this game, minus three. Steelers, once again, dogs at home. The over-under on this game is 50 and a half. I believe the Colts are contenders. Yeah. And the Colts in all three phases of the game are fantastic.
Starting point is 00:36:34 They have the number one rusher in the league. They have an offensive line that's given up seven sacks this entire year. Indiana Jones playing incredible. And then you look at the Steelers side and it's like, okay, you lose a game on Thursday Night Football versus the Bengals that you should have won with Joe Flacko has been there for eight days at the time. Then you go against the Packers. And for three quarters of that game, it is competitive. It's very competitive. The wheels fall off.
Starting point is 00:36:59 The biggest thing for the Steelers is they have all the money in their. their defense and they are not playing up to their standard. From a defensive front standpoint, they're not getting pressure on the quarterback like they should be with how much money they have in that and that. The back end, there's so many communication errors to where if they just play man to say, hey, in corners, you guys are seeing those guys, they could probably do that. When they're passing guys off and Patrick Queens is trying to say something and looking back and no one's relaying the same hand gesture as he is.
Starting point is 00:37:24 Then they're getting caught off guard. It's a huge issue. It's going to get worse. This is it. This is a line. This is. This is candy. This is Halloween. This is Colts minus three.
Starting point is 00:37:35 This is as responsibly as you can hammer this. That's how confident I feel about Colts minus three in this game. It's going to get worse on the back end of Steelers, too. They missing Elliott. That's the key. He makes most of the calls for the DBs in the back as a strong safety. They missing him. A deep tackle is not going to be out there as well.
Starting point is 00:37:51 That's a key factor on that defense. So, I mean, I think you said it, the inconsistency on that defense, the injury concerns with the Steelers. and the coach just looked fucking phenomenal. I hate to say that just because I played against him so many years, but Daniel Jones has just regenerated itself. I mean, we all thought he was out for the count. The boy goes to the Colts and just, I don't even know what he's doing.
Starting point is 00:38:15 They probably got some fire-ass cocaine out there, but my man is out there playing on fire, bro. He just like, let's go. Let's get this dub. Danny White. That's what he doing. He got the eyes. He got the eyes.
Starting point is 00:38:27 I mean, the owner got the eyes. I don't want to be first to say, I guess I am first. She'd be scared. Oh, yeah. She's scared me. She'd be out there like, I'm like, is something wrong with her or what? People's as big as yours, right? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:38:41 Pretty much. No, but she's awesome. I'm glad that everything is working out for the coach. They firing off of her being out on the field, getting that energy. You can see it. So, I mean, I think the coach is definitely going to be the F.C. champs. Are we allergic to totals in this? No.
Starting point is 00:39:02 Can I go over 50 and a half? Yeah. Oh, yeah. Yeah, you can take the total. Now, are these 40 of them by the Colts? What are we thinking? I think Pittsburgh can keep up with an Aaron Rogers game here. I think points will be scored.
Starting point is 00:39:19 I like over 50 and a half because if the Steelers do somehow make this game happen, it's going to be just on that offense. because I think that Colts, Pittsburgh is just what? Out of their, what, seven games? What are they, four and three? Yeah. Out of their seven games, defense has only showed up twice. I do think the Colts continue to play at a really high level offensively,
Starting point is 00:39:41 but I still, like, I just can't get off. I can't get off Samarian Rogers games. Him tossing the rock. Learn from my mistake. Last week I came on here, I said, A.R. is going to throw for four touchdowns, 300 yards. They're going to upset the pack. Yeah, but we knew that that was a dumb call.
Starting point is 00:39:57 No, but you, chill, because what we just said, for two quarters, maybe three, it was close. Arod had that big throw on the first drive, but I'll tell you what, when they came out in those 1930s, ugly gold jersey, I knew it was over at that point. Like, those are two iconic teams. Yeah, people saying these jerseys are fire. I'm like, no, Denver's. No. Denver's a all time. That's a pumpkin.
Starting point is 00:40:19 Our fire. But listen, give me the Colts at minus three. I just think I learned, I learned the hard. way. Arod's a dog. He's been everything the Steelers have wanted from, but they do not have an O-line that can protect for them. A mediocre run game. Aside from D.K., there's nobody in there who can catch. And their defense is 32nd in pass yards allowed, whereas, oh, who's third in the league in Thorn right now? Indiana Jones. So, okay, let's take away the pass. Well, guess who's leading the league in Tuddies? My man, Jonathan, Taylor, Thomas. That old line is awesome.
Starting point is 00:40:55 led by Quinn Nelson. I mean, also. Now, listen, the only thing that can, that might play in the fact is that the Colts have only played one outside game. So I'm not sure what the temperature is supposed to be, you know, the elements are supposed to be in Pittsburgh. But I just don't see it happening with that good of an O-line, that good of a run game or with how well Danny Dimes is playing right now. You know what I always say about element and outside? If you have a strong run game, that shit don't matter. Don't matter.
Starting point is 00:41:21 Yeah. Okay. Well. I do like you're over. And what I think is you saw. going everyone going Colts. You're like, let me figure out a way to be different here also.
Starting point is 00:41:29 Yeah, I don't want to be across the board. And again, I love points this game over 50 and a half. Yeah, weather's interesting. I mean, I can see that. I can see what. The weather is. Well, it's really nice, apparently.
Starting point is 00:41:41 That's going to change. If you watch the college football portion, you understand what I'm saying. It stops the Steelers from having a real good. Not in the Northeast. North East. North East is going to be tough, especially on Thursday. No.
Starting point is 00:41:48 You could see under. You can easily see under. Yeah, if it's a bad weather game. Easy Colts winning 30 to 10. If the Steelers win, you can just see them winning by field goal. That's still being under, but let's just root for some points here.
Starting point is 00:42:01 Ruper points. All the weekend. All the weekend. That might be a nice little parlay, though. Point the over plus Colts minus three. Minutes. Maybe. Maybe.
Starting point is 00:42:10 Maybe. The weather in Pittsburgh is 52 and partly cloudy. Oh, that's beautiful. Perfect day. Great football weather. That's football right there, boy. Sunday night football. Seahawks at commanders.
Starting point is 00:42:24 Seahawks are favored minus three and a half total. and that game is 46.5. Point, don't overthink it. This is Seahawks. Should we even talk about this? This is Sam Donald. This is McDonald. This is the defense. Commanders.
Starting point is 00:42:36 Well, they may get the guy back. They may get their guy back. They may get their guy back. It's talks that he may play this week. I don't think it matters. He haven't been that great this year. Obviously, it's the sophomore slumps. We talked about it earlier in the show.
Starting point is 00:42:52 Not early in the show, but prior in the show. I don't know. Yeah. I think the magic's gone. You think the magic's gone? You look at last year, they converted like 25 or 28 fourth downs. Like, obviously he just exploded on the scene. We thought he was Lamar Jackson 2.0, but it obviously helped getting Debo back and Scary Terry.
Starting point is 00:43:13 I mean, those were two of the most amazing catches I've seen all year. Oh, yeah, yeah, but I just don't think they have enough horsepower, firepower, whatever you want to call it. And especially on defense, they're not getting pressure on the quarterback. They're just not doing enough. I think this is it for the commanders this year. I think they don't have a real chance at even playing for a wild card spot. And I see the Seahawks playing too well, 10 and one record in their last 11 road games for those who love these little nuggets. And they're getting healthier.
Starting point is 00:43:45 Seahawks have the entire secondary back as well. And their defense is just coming alive with their head coach McDonald. Like that defense, like we talk about Sammy D. JSN, the run game and everything else. Like they're nice on offense, but I think their defense complements them really well. And again, it's like the commanders, it sucks. But O-N-3 in their last three against the Bears,
Starting point is 00:44:07 Cowboys, and Chiefs, and just looking at their schedule because I hate that it's scary hours out there in Washington because their defense, as well as they play, especially front seven-wise, like getting after the quarterback a little bit, stopping the run. They had some promise, like they made some big progress since last year, but now they're very much kind of getting back to what the defense.
Starting point is 00:44:24 was last year, which is bottoming the league in a few categories. But you got the Eagles twice. You got the Broncos. You got the Lions next week. You get the Lions next week after Seattle. For this line to be three and a half in Washington, I think Seattle will travel well. And again, they're playing defense at a high level. And I love me some Sammy D.
Starting point is 00:44:42 I like Seattle minus three and a half. Yeah, the only issue is going from west to east that travel. But it's a Sunday night football game too. So they'll have plenty of time to rest. Yeah. Oh, man. That's love Sunday nights. So we're across the board on Seattle.
Starting point is 00:44:54 Yeah, y'all know I'm going to Seattle for sure. I think we'll be different on this one. Cardinals at Cowboys. Cowboys minus three. Total points that game is 53 and a half. I'm taking an over 53. Okay. Over 53, which I think is a great pole.
Starting point is 00:45:09 I think that's fantastic. Yeah, I just scared at this game. I don't really know who to choose. And they're getting Kyle Murray back too. So do you think Kyler Murray's that guy? Like, as opposed to Jacoby Bresset? They're two different types. I think Jacoby throwing the ball on controlling the offense is a lot better,
Starting point is 00:45:29 but Kyler is a type of dude. He can make stuff happen with his legs. He's unexpected. You never know. Like, he will get in the end zone every once in a while, but he will throw some, too. So it just, I don't know. Cowboys are playing great.
Starting point is 00:45:42 They're putting a lot of points up, but I feel like the Cardinals is going to put some points up as well, too. So I'm going to just take the over 53. I think. I think Arizona kind of falls apart in the back half of the year. I mean, obviously, they've had close games in the record's not very good right now, but they've lost a total, a combined total of how many points? 13 points, or at least we know, yeah, yeah, yeah, 13 points.
Starting point is 00:46:07 I like Dallas here, Dallas minus three, and I also love George Pickens anytime touchdown. We'll get into the Bet the Boys Barlet later, but I love some George Pickens here. I like Dallas in a bounce back spot at home. I can see that. I can see that. I know you can see it. You're ready to sell the dollar stock. Well, I don't play devil's advocate about Kyler Murray.
Starting point is 00:46:28 But I can see the Cowboys bouncing back. They play incredibly well at home. They just scared me this past week. I had the Cowboys circled as my money line, but then I switched it to the Cardinals. And I think there's a lot going on in Arizona right now, specifically with the quarterback position. Kyler Murray, I think, has not done enough
Starting point is 00:46:47 to warrant another year of play out there. I think they move on from him. And you look at how well Jacobi Berset is playing in these past two games against two very good teams, the Colts and the Packers. 600 yards passing four touchdowns, whereas Kyler Murray has not thrown for over 220 yards, has six touchdowns, three interceptions on the year. But they're invested in him. Gannon has kind of alluded to the fact, hey, he's the guy.
Starting point is 00:47:12 He's going to come back in there. So I think that's something to look into. But more so than that, I think Dallas just shows. defensively. They're getting up a league worst, 31 and a quarter points per game. I see Kyler Murray coming back, kind of hearing the noise.
Starting point is 00:47:32 Is he a friend of the show? Because he might hear the noise coming from me. He's not a friend of the show. I'm sure he watches the show. He definitely watches the show. So he's hearing it. He's hearing the detractors. Hey, little stat, though,
Starting point is 00:47:44 since high school, Kyler Murray at AT&T Stadium, 9 and 0. Oh, how are we feeling? I got a stat for you, too. Okay, well, hey, I'm going with the Cardinals. Give me the money line at plus 130. I just don't think the defense.
Starting point is 00:48:01 I think they're going to do enough to Cardinals. I don't know why. I don't know why. You just feel something. This is like when the Bucks beat the Seahawks. I just feel this one. I feel this one. I'm not in on the Cowboys defense.
Starting point is 00:48:13 I know Dak plays incredibly well at home, but just give me the Cardinals. Enough explaining. What's your stat? What's a stat to combat? The Cowboys has lost seven. out of eight last matchups against the Cardinals.
Starting point is 00:48:26 Seven out of eight. So, only one won so far. I mean, he may be, he may have something going on. He's going back to Texas.
Starting point is 00:48:35 Yeah, you know what I'm saying? Mr. Texas, best player. They played in Texas, I want to say, three out of,
Starting point is 00:48:41 four out of those times out of that's eight times they played in Texas. Can I be honest with you? That stat was better than I expected it to be. I thought this is going to be like a 43,
Starting point is 00:48:52 Yeah, I got it to be some crazy shit. I had that at first and I'm like, yo, that shit ain't relevant. College, he wasn't there. Yeah, yeah. It's good for you to ask yourself that question. But you know, I like throwing stats out like that. I like the people to start think. That's the one off.
Starting point is 00:49:06 That's the mule. About what I just said. Speaking of the, do you guys remember being a freshman in high school? Like going eighth grade, everyone's kind of on the same playing fields. You get to become a freshman in high school and you're like kind of starting to go through puberty. You're seeing all the girls that are a couple of years older than you and they're starting develop a little bit more and there's that one sophomore that's kind of like a little bit more
Starting point is 00:49:25 developed than the rest of them you're like you know who's that girl all the boys like listen man you've got no chance no chance and also toxic got daddy issues type of thing if you don't talk but for whatever reason second semester after Christmas maybe you get a couple inches tall and she starts batting her eyes at you a little bit and you heard all the hey watch out for that girl but she's batting her eyes at you now so you take her on a date and you get what you want but then after that you see all the things kind of going on like okay i can see she's a little more thoughts she's outside my house in the middle of the night throwing rocks in my window telling me she's crazy she's pregnant all these things yeah yeah and you realize oh i understand so you kind of back away from
Starting point is 00:50:01 that and then a couple weeks later you're like i do kind of miss her a little bit that's where i stand with the cowboys because last week i sat there and i'm like bro i'm telling you if this defense can just be average they are going to be great then i watch the bronchison account but i have my little fun with them i get punched in the dick a little bit and higher go looking at this I got the Cowboys who scored 42 points a game when they're at home. They're a completely different offense when they're at home than when they're away. I should have seen it. They didn't beat the Broncos since 1996.
Starting point is 00:50:27 Cardinals, all their losses, if you took all the points they've lost combined, it's 13 points. But here I'm again, looking at the hot girl, looking at the star, and I'll be going Cowboys, minus 30 and a half, or whatever it is. That cookie must be good. Did you say minus 13 and a half? No, minus three. I said, you know your love. You know what I'm talking about though, right?
Starting point is 00:50:50 You know, you know the exact girl when I was explaining that story. You're like, I just can't quit him. I remember her. I quit him. I know you're doing. You weren't a hopeless romantic like me. No, I'm a pimp.
Starting point is 00:51:05 I mean, multiple. Fuck that one. Okay. We are brought to you by True Classic. You can find True Classic at Amazon and Costco, Zams Club, Target, Nationwide. You find them online, trueclassic.com, forward slash bustin, look good, feel good, play good. I got the pants on right now.

Just kind of make you feel better. Holiday season is upon us. We're going to have a lot of candy this weekend. Then you're going to get, hey, listen, Thanksgiving's right there. I might as well just.
Starting point is 00:51:37 Hey, it's us, the Jonas brothers. And guess what? We have some big news. What's the news? Huge news. We created our own podcast called, hey Jonas. We invented a podcast? Well, we didn't invent it.
Starting point is 00:51:47 We just contributed to it. We're the first people to do podcasts. Pretty, yeah, pretty wide range of podcasts. We're starting a trend. But this one's extra special. So how do we actually come up with a name, Hey Jonas, guys? I honestly don't remember. I think it was on a call about what we should call it.
Starting point is 00:52:03 Oh, we were thinking I'm originally calling it one of the early names of our band before Jonas Brothers. This is how you guys remember it going down? Yes. I have a very different memory of this. We were talking about a thing. a bit for the podcast for people could call in and say, Hey Jonas. And then I wrote down on my little notepad, Hey Jonas, and offered it up as a potential title for the podcast. But thanks for remembering that, guys.
Starting point is 00:52:28 Listen to Hey Jonas on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcast. Just listen. We don't care where you hear it. Will Ferrell's Big Money Players and IHeart Podcast presents soccer moms. So I'm Leanne. Yeah. This is my best friend, Janet. Hey. And we have been joined at the Hipsons High School.
Starting point is 00:52:44 Absolutely. Now a redacted amount of years later We're still joined at the hip Just a little bit bigger hips Wider This is a podcast we're recording it as we tailgate Our youth soccer games In the back of my Honda Odyssey
Starting point is 00:52:56 With all the snacks and drink Sidebar Why did you get hard seltzer instead of beer Well they had a bogo Well then you got it Do you want a white claw or something here? Just take it What are y'all doing?
Starting point is 00:53:07 Microphones? Are you making a rap album? I would Come on How would you pull? I would buy it Cuts through the defense like a hot knife through sponge cake. That sounds delicious. Oh, you're lucky I'm not a drug addict.
Starting point is 00:53:21 You're lucky I'm not an alcoholic. You're lucky I'm not a killer. I love this team and I'm really trying to be a figure in their lives that they can rely on. Oh. Listen to soccer moms on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. Hey, I'm Deanna Maria Riva, actress, mother, lover, and a Gen X woman walking through life one hot flash and hormonal crying jag at a time. You ladies know what I mean.
Starting point is 00:53:48 I'll bet you a perimenopausal chin here you do. So let's talk about it. Join me on my new podcast. How hard can it be with the Adamani Areva, where I call on my Gen X squads from Ohio to Hollywood as we navigate midlife's most fantastic BS. All of a sudden, I'd had hanginess happening on my own. I was like, what the hell is that?
Starting point is 00:54:09 I was married when I had her, so I didn't even consider how empty that mess was going to be. Swings, night sweats, fupas, sex drive. Wait, what sex? Dating at 45. How hard can it be? Getting naked at 50 with the new guy. That one's kind of hard now.
Starting point is 00:54:24 Well, that's lighting. They say we can't polish a turd, but we're sure going to try. So let's get blunt with laughs, tears, or tears of laughter, and dive into it, unfiltered and unbothered and ask, how hard can it be? I cannot believe I'm about to say this out loud in public. Listen to How Hard Can It Be with Diana Maria Riva as part of my Cultura Podcast Network available on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. Kind of keep spoiling myself. Thanksgiving there, and then you get to Christmas time.
Starting point is 00:54:51 Now you put in two and a half months of woof, right? You want to feel buff instead of woof, you're going to put the True Classic T-shirt on. Let's get back to the episode. True Classic Game of the Week. Everybody, every Sunday's got games, but only one fits just right. This is True Classics Game of the Week, and it's the Kansas City Chiefs at the Buffalo Bills. Patrick Mahomes versus Josh Allen. Bills, Underdogs at home by one and a half points. Chiefs favored by one and a half. The over under on this game, 52 and a half.
Starting point is 00:55:21 Bills. Chiefs. Bill's Money Line. Chiefs. Bills Money Line. Chiefs getting healthier. Bills is getting injured. They got what?
Starting point is 00:55:29 Ed Oliver. Matt Maliano. Dequant Joan, what, Taylor Rap, they all injured. These is key guys who make plays for the bills. I just don't see them beating the Chiefs right now. Chiefs is healthy. They look good. Fine all cylinders.
Starting point is 00:55:45 What's the regular season record? Three and O, Josh Allen. Wait, four, no, right? They played the last six years and I think the last four years. I thought there was one that the Chiefs got. Four no. No, no regular season for the bills. Bills are one and three.
Starting point is 00:55:59 And the playoffs. In the playoffs. The Chiefs. I'm still taking the Chiefs. Four and one. Four and one. Four and one. Okay.
Starting point is 00:56:07 It was last year, right? The one was last year, correct? No, I think the bills won last year. Yeah, Bill's won last year. Okay, there's the year before. And it's in Buffalo, too. Last year, when this game came up, I had to do the locker room by myself.
Starting point is 00:56:19 You said the same stat. Yeah, and I threw a whole spiel about how, like, we need the Chiefs to win this game in order for the bills to win this game in the playoffs. Time has gone by, but my opinion still stays the same. I need the Chiefs to win this game so the Bill can get to the Super Bowl this year and the playoffs. So give me the Chiefs.
Starting point is 00:56:35 I'm taking the Chiefs. Let's just talk facts, though, about this game. All right. There's two reason why the Chiefs are going to win the game this year, okay? It's because Mahomes is playing like Patrick Mahomes. He is looking good right now. MVP Mahomes, okay?
Starting point is 00:56:53 And when they win this game, he's only going to propel himself to his second or third MVP. But I'll tell you why he's going to do it. Not only the way in which he's playing, but it's mainly because of that Buffalo defense. They are right in front in the 31st slot of rush defense. Just terrible, okay? And when you got Andy Reid on the other side who's just going to game plan, he's going to exploit that with Pacheco. No, no, Pacheco, Kareem.
Starting point is 00:57:21 He's out. He's out. He's out. Pacheco's out. I'm going to give him a game time decision, okay? They've been struggling to run the ball, too. The Chiefs have been struggling to run the football. I think they're going to be better with Kareem Hunt, though. All the little passes is an extension of the run game.
Starting point is 00:57:34 I'm not worried about that. And Rishie Rice is playing like a dog right now. It's opening up. I talked about this last week. It's opening up that underneath routes for Kelly. Elsie. And Mahomes has been so great at that quick game, just getting rid of it. But he was playing backyard ball on Monday night against the commanders. Four seconds back there, just looking around, just slinging it all over the field. He's playing incredibly well. I like the momentum of them right
Starting point is 00:57:59 now. I like them taking advantage of the bill's defense. Obviously, I can, yeah, listen, I wouldn't be surprised at the bills win, but give me the chiefs, uh, minus one and a half. I'm going to, I'm going to take the chief's money line it's gonna be close what you take the cheese money on hold on chiefs your favorite cheese your favorite oh shit I'm sorry yeah I'm gonna just keep the chiefs I didn't see that my eyes you got bills I'm taking bills I'll sit in the pocket I'll sit in the pocket I'm sitting in the pocket I'm sitting in the five for what uh bills and the Texans yeah you're in a good spot separation Sunday it's a 325 game so we got a time no what I'm saying is like it's we got time until the game starts
Starting point is 00:58:42 of time. I'm just saying I don't think it's not going to be the atmosphere like a Sunday night. No. Just what I'm looking. What's the weather? Well, later. At Northeast. The matter for both teams. So I was on the NFL call yesterday and they said the earlier game. So every game that play at noon, less cameras, right? Because there's more games playing at noon. So the later games, you get more cameras, more attention to that game. So I'm assuming since this is a 3 o'clock game, we're going to have a lot of action going on with this Bill's Chiefs game. So I think it's going to be a big, big game. 49 and cloudy in Buffalo. Perfect weather. Man, I kind of want to take Josh, but I, oh. It's Josh and James Cook. Like, they're running the ball really well.
Starting point is 00:59:22 But Spaggs is his defense, and they're healthy. They're healthy, bro. Carl Lofkis? Carl Lofthus. He's playing well. Like, I see they got anybody. Yeah, honestly, I'll stay with the Chiefs because I want the Chiefs. This is a longer play.
Starting point is 00:59:39 This is my January play. to when they meet again, I won't have to explain myself. I'll be going bills. That makes sense. Oh, that's smart. Given the Chief's win. If not. That game will be at Kansas City.
Starting point is 00:59:51 Yep. Good. I mean, you can win in Kansas City. We've done it multiple times. You can win in Kansas City. Multiple times. Multiple times. You probably never even played the Chiefs, dude.
Starting point is 01:00:05 No, we play them a few times. Back with Jamal Charles, Alex Smith. That's a good team. Yeah, they still had a good team there. I think this game is... Did you play back when they had pre-somes? No. No, no, no, no.
Starting point is 01:00:17 Maybe. I was there. You was in the league? What year? My first year was 2009. I think he probably, I think he may have retired like 2010, 21. Yeah, you didn't play. You didn't play against him, but he was in the league when you was in the league.
Starting point is 01:00:30 That was the first couple years you're trying to keep your head. Yeah. Like, I don't even know who I was playing against until I look back and I'm like, damn, I play against him. I think just in regard to this game, it's not about, you know, like, I think, I think, at this point i'm not talking about who's going to win i think they're both in the afc west the chiefs are third right now they're you know they're they're turning upwards the bills are obviously right behind the patriots i think the loser of this game is playing for a wild card um birth wild card seed which is fine this game usually determined who's going to be the number one seed in the afc who's
Starting point is 01:01:04 going to have home field advantage so it's just doesn't mean a whole lot it's just something to think about moving forward i don't think either these teams would be scared to go on the road or Pittsburgh or actually the Ravens. I'm telling you, I told you they were going to go one in five. I didn't change. I didn't change my pick last when Lamar, when they played a little funny business and Lamar didn't show up, they still beat the Bears. I'm telling you, they're on the way up to the number one. That small sample size is a genius. People forget that you also took every single favorite during our future show. Bro, and who always wins? The bank, Vegas, the sports book.
Starting point is 01:01:38 That's true. I'm a winner. What do you want? You're a winner? I side with the winners, yeah. With that UFC parlay, this goes, we're getting. Bro. No, hey, I didn't even touch the you. He sent in the UFC parlay. I saw, I can't do this, man.
Starting point is 01:01:52 I told you. Hold on, hold on. Same. I saw it in the news chat and I was like, nice of clear attacks. Hey, these boys don't know shit about the UFC. I hit the first two. You don't. You don't either, bro.
Starting point is 01:02:03 No, what, you're talking about? You're what on a three? You're cold. The UFC parlay is. MMA, you can't. Bet before the fight in parlay's, you have to live bet. I'm telling you, there's so many things that move around. But I was, first of all, it wouldn't have mattered anyways
Starting point is 01:02:18 because it was, you know, with the eye poke that Cyril Gahn had on Aspinall, hey, Cyril Gond looked great in that first round. I'm talking to Aspinall, nose all bloody, get poked in the eye, suffered a little bit of adversity. I don't know if he really wanted it, okay? That's all I'm saying right now. But yeah, I've come up a little short. I'm just trying to help you out.
Starting point is 01:02:36 I'm trying to give you something for your fans to eat on some fodder. But you all, you think like you know everything. You can't even pronounce the names of the guys. No, no, no, no. You're right. That's the first right thing you said. I don't know the names. I can't say the names for it.
Starting point is 01:02:47 So you come to me. I'm not saying I know everything about the UFC. I'm just saying when you shot the parlayes, I wrote with you on the last two blindly. But it's like the lane. So then when you sent this one, I'm like, oh, it's not. It's like Delaney says. It's not my fault. It's the fighter's fault for not doing what I want of them is to win.
Starting point is 01:03:05 It's a four leg parlay, JP. First one hits, he tags. Second one hits he tags. He texts with the green check mark. Hey, third one. Don't hear from him again. No, third. Hey, first of all, McKenzie Dorn came out of nowhere, okay?
Starting point is 01:03:17 She beat the Brazilian. Like, it was just, I mean, and then it was, like I said, it was a push at the end. It wouldn't have mattered anyways. If I hit those three, they would have been like, hey, you get your money back. So that's why I wasn't really stressing about it. And USC fighting any kick and hit one knockout. I mean. That's hard to bet on.
Starting point is 01:03:34 I just need my man to win one of these bad days. So that way I can feel like I'm back in. We are also brought to you by Form Energy, Form Energy. Energy delivers best in class taste with natural flavors and zero sugar. Form Energy has natural caffeine derived from green tea. And form comes in a variety of flavors. Scream and Freedom, which is Rocket Pop-inspired, Grape smash, Blue Blitz, Orange Fury, your boys rocking the orange on this episode, and perfect for those who put in the work.
Starting point is 01:03:58 If you're a person who wakes up in the morning, gets a workout in, puts in a full day of work, and still gives it their all when they come home, you are a Form Energy guy. Form Energy. We do the work. Back to this episode. Hey, it's us, the Jonas Brothers. And guess what? We have some big news. What's the news, name? Huge news.
Starting point is 01:04:13 We created our own podcast called, Hey Jonas. We invented a podcast? Well, we didn't invent it. We just contributed to it. We're the first people to do podcasts. Pretty, yeah, pretty wide range of podcasts. We're starting a trend. But this one's extra special.
Starting point is 01:04:27 So how did we actually come up with a name, Hey Jonas, guys? I honestly don't remember. I think it was on a call about what we should call it. And, oh, we were thinking I'm originally calling. it one of the early names of our band before Jonas Brothers was this is how you guys remember it going down yes I have a very different memory of this we were talking about a thing a bit for the podcast people could call in and say hey Jonas and then I wrote down on my little note pad hey Jonas and offered it up as a potential title for the podcast but thanks for remembering that guys
Starting point is 01:05:00 listen to hey Jonas on the iHeart radio app apple podcasts or wherever you get your podcast just listen we don't care where you hear it What's up, fam? It's Isaiah Thomas. And I'm C.J. Toledano, and our podcast Point Game is about defying the odds. Like LeBron heading into the playoffs without Luca and Austin Reed. And finding ways to win no matter what. He's the smartest player to ever play the game. His IQ is at a level that we've never seen before.
Starting point is 01:05:25 And he knows without Luca and Austin Reeves, I got to manipulate the game. We get a player's perspective on the challenges of the playoffs. I think Joker's going to be exhausted this series because when they don't have Rudy in the lineup, he has to really guard guys like Nas Reid. He has to guard Julius Randall. And then he has to give us everything he gives us on the night-to-night bases on offense. And when IT's friends stop by,
Starting point is 01:05:48 like Quentin Richardson, we dive into some playoff history too. Steve Nass would get that thing. That man, hell get the flying. He run up the court licking his fingers while he got the ball. After you go through a training camp with that, Isaiah, you figure it out real quick. Get your ass up and down the court,
Starting point is 01:06:05 and you're going to get the ball. So listen to Point Game on the, I Heart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. Hey, I'm Deanna Maria Riva, actress, mother, lover, and a Gen X woman walking through life, one hot flash and hormonal crying jag at a time. You ladies know what I mean. I'll bet you a parameda Pazel chin here you do. So let's talk about it.
Starting point is 01:06:24 Join me on my new podcast. How hard can it be with Deanna Maria Riva, where I call on my Gen X squads from Ohio to Hollywood as we navigate midlife's most fantastic BS. All of a sudden, I'd had hanginess happening on my own. I was like, what the hell is that? I was married when I had her, so I didn't even consider how empty that nest was going to be. Mood swings, night sweats, fupas, sex drive. Wait, what sex?
Starting point is 01:06:51 Dating at 45. How high can it be getting naked at 50 with the new guy? That one's kind of hard. Well, that's lighting. They say we can't polish a turd, but we're sure going to try. So let's get blunt with laughs, tears, or tears of laughter, and dive into it, unfiltered and unbothered and ask, how hard can it be? I cannot believe I'm about to say this out loud in public. Listen to How Hard Can It Be with Diana Maria Riva
Starting point is 01:07:13 as part of My Cultura Podcast Network, available on the Iheart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. About the Boys' parley. This week's bet the boys barlet. No guarantees, but I feel good about this one. J.S.N. Vers the commanders.
Starting point is 01:07:30 Boys, this. That must have been a victory, too. No? Who's a victory to? Oh my God. Hey, fuck it, man. JSN. Bro, JSN.
Starting point is 01:07:43 A, JSN, by week last week, still leading the league and receiving yards by 100. Delaney, who you got? Come on, y'all know. The legend himself, Jonathan. Taylor.
Starting point is 01:07:57 Hey, should we go, hey, two touchdowns this week? Because you know they're going to, I know he's going to get it, but I don't even want to. They're going to start feeding him for MVP. You got to make up for Clay.
Starting point is 01:08:07 I get it. My man right now, I think he, I think he's the first player to ever have three rushing touchdowns in one game. No, no, no. Three games against the same team. No, he had, he's, why does it go? We know what you. It's three, three straight games with three touchdowns. And you're right.
Starting point is 01:08:24 And you also had three against touchdowns in a row. You're, you're combined. He had two rushing and one of a season. Okay. We understand the sentiment. He's good. Yeah. And he'll score.
Starting point is 01:08:33 Man. Are you going to, are you jumping an going Jonathan Taylor times? No, no, no. He can do. He can do that? He can't he do that? You can do that? Hey, but you know who I like better than Bijon is Jemir Gibbs?
Starting point is 01:08:44 Yes, that's why I like your pick. That's what I'm saying. Okay. Hey, listen, listen, you crazy. You crazy. Where he's coming off a career day, Vikings bottom 10? I just always get nervous about backs that split carries. Well, last week, he didn't split a lot of carries with Montgomery.
Starting point is 01:08:59 Last week nine. He didn't. Y'all I'm saying he didn't. Jamar Gibbs is a mother, a dog. He's the second best backing in it. Hey, do you kind of want to go Jonathan Taylor two touchdowns? Maybe we can put two parlay together. My whole thing is when Delaney's react like, no, no, no.
Starting point is 01:09:14 It's like, bro, this is a parlay for all of us. Just because he takes Jonathan Taylor every week doesn't mean, Delaney's like undefeated. Like this part of this leg of our parlay is undefeated. Right. Like we, somebody would have Jonathan Taylor. Either or. I try to give it to Will, but no one's taking it.
Starting point is 01:09:29 But yeah, I know. I mean, yeah. I mean, yeah. Tyler's a touchdown is probably is going to be close to minus three. What's two? Give me, give it. Last week it was plus 130 for two times. We can take two.
Starting point is 01:09:40 I just. On Tuesday, so it's finally like now. All I'm saying Delini carries it. He carried himself like he's superior because he's got Jonathan Taylor every week. Oh. Jemir gives his minus 210 alone. Yeah. Jemir gives his minus two 10 to any time.
Starting point is 01:09:54 I'm sure. Jonathan Taylor's going to be like minus 300. No, it's like four or something. That's going to start four or something. So these odds are going to be pretty. Yeah. So if you want to do, let's do, if you want to go ride the train, ride the train. I know, but I really like.
Starting point is 01:10:09 George Pickens. George Pickens just in like a prime time. Like I'm saying, I'm saying these are going to hit and then we get to sit back and watch Monday night football. George Pickens, is he going to get there? Is it going to be Ciddy Lambs? I like that. You're kind of in a, yeah, you're kind of, it's like with Tucker Kraft.
Starting point is 01:10:25 If all of them would have hit, we would have been sitting there Sunday night football. Like, is it going to be, is it going to be Tucker Kraft? Is it, is it going to have two tuddies? Is it going to be one of the receivers? Like, it kind of puts it up in the air. It's not like a lot the way we feel like Jonathan Taylor is. That's why I like if Jonathan Taylor Times 2 was just in the parlay. Let's do it times 2 then.
Starting point is 01:10:43 I'll take that hit. It's not a hit. It's a team sport. No, because when we lose, the fans go, damn, Will, damn, Clay, you killed my. So I'm going to take that hit. Because I'm going to be the one that's going back at him like, look, you know. They talked me into it. So are we talking, hey, let me just.
Starting point is 01:11:01 It's not my fault. They told me to do it in the show. Let me put this out there. Are we talking JSN, Jonathan Taylor Times 2, Jemir gives, and Joe. George Pickens, five leg. Yeah, yeah, yeah, let's do it. I like that. I like it.
Starting point is 01:11:11 Four leg, but yeah. Still four leg. It's a juicy for it. It's a super for it. At home, don't like it. They can just, they can take it back down to one. Yeah, just take it down to one. But if you don't want to tabby,
Starting point is 01:11:19 it'll bustle with the boys tabby, it'll be there. Yeah. Huh? What do you mean? Record? There's no record in this. That's what I'm saying, the de Parley that we build together. This is a team thing we all win or we all lose.
Starting point is 01:11:34 If he don't score, if he don't score two, it's done. Right. We lose it. Right. Put it on the tab. Hey, you're, you're, man, my eye just start water. Oh, yeah, crying.
Starting point is 01:11:43 My eyes just start water. You're like a- Well, you're gonna be in hell. It just started. I don't know what it was, but I'm like, damn, what the fuck? My eye just start watering out of nowhere. So there we go.
Starting point is 01:11:55 JSN, Jonathan Taylor, two touchdowns, Jamir Gibbs, and George Pickens, Monday Night Football. Hey, that's going to hit. What is that? What is that? back to late last year where we're making like eight, nine leg parles. And just maybe, like, maybe you bring two. We all bring two, we put it together.
Starting point is 01:12:14 Just like a little fun one. We were like 0 for 17, right? No, we didn't. But did we have fun? But did we have fun? What's the show about? And that parlay is not about hitting all the legs. It's about hitting eight out of ten.
Starting point is 01:12:26 Oh shit, like how close we got. Yeah. You know? Yeah. Something to think about. Listen, we should end. We're going to hang out for a little bit. We can talk about that.
Starting point is 01:12:34 Okay, sounds good. So we doing that? We bring in something in? We'll talk about it. Possibly, possibly. And I want you to look over your left shoulder and I want you to apologize to that sign, you see. Hey, I woke up a couple days ago. My neck was in spasm, bro.
