Welcome to another episode of the locker room.
It is playoff weekend.
Wild car weekend.
We're going to be covering all the games.
Here are the standings.
We got a close battle right now between Delaney and Taylor
heading into the playoffs.
Clay and myself, we're trying to fight to get above 500,
but something I want to bring your attention to.
Since week 14, since week 14,
Delaney Walker has went 25 and 9.
It's a 73 and a half percent hit rate.
Delaney Walker has got the hot hand.
It's going to be an incredible show.
We're happier you're here.

Unhumor me with Robert Smigel and friends.
Me and hilarious guests from Bob Odenkirk to David Letterman
helped make you funnier.
This week, my guest, SNL's Mikey Day and head writer
Street or Seidel, help an a cappella band with their between songs banter.
Where does your group perform?
We do some retirement homes.
Those people are starving for banter.

Winning on Clay is an art.
The rallies are relentless.

Where do we even start?
bro I just
let's yeah
yeah
fired up for you Delaney
I think that clap
dude
dude it's unbelievable
your start this year
there's like there's no way
this man's coming back
from the depths of hell
and you've done it
in the week what was it before
maybe right before week 14
somewhere in the middle
it's like Delaney you would have to go
whatever this number is
just to get back above 500
we were crawling into Sputober
crawling into it
and you were
dead, done. The whole world was like Delaney Walker might be the worst gambler in the history of gambling.
Yeah. And now you're the hottest name in the game. Yeah. You know, that's how it works,
man. You know, that's just how it works. You know, I came in early, you know, defeat sucked.
It started to sink in. But, you know, I always look past it. You know, I look past the noise,
because that's what I do well. I always look fast in the nails, you know. And then I start seeing the
playing field. I remember you say, man, I want to see what you're seeing, you know. So I started
doing, I started double watching. I'm like, let me double watch. Double watch. Double watching film. I'm
like, okay, let me see what Will think I'm looking at. And then I started looking at,
like, let me be Will and see what he sees. And I'm like, well, Will don't see the feel right.
So let me keep going. Let me get beyond that level. Let me get beyond that level and just start calling
him, man. You know what? I was really leaning on a pro. You know, he, he was leading me one way.
and I thought since he was the top 17 gambler in Nashville,
I should follow structure.
Yep.
But, you know, at the end of the day, he was leading me down the wrong path.
You had to cut ties.
I had to cut ties with him, man.
Believe in your own instinct.
I believe in my own instinct.
And as you see, I just start hitting.
But, you know, it brings me, I had a story, man.
I was thinking about this when I was, you know, texting you guys
and just knowing that I was about to be number one
in the end of the season going into the playoffs.
They brought me back to that time when I went to Africa.
You know what I'm saying?
Like, I'm African, but I ain't that kind of African.
You get what I'm saying?
So, like, I'm like, damn, this ain't me.
Let me get back to my old cell.
I started getting back to my old cell.
And I realized I'm American.
Yeah.
Some might say it's African American.
African American.
You got to see, and then you went back and you're like, I'm a little bit of up.
No, like like I said, I'm African.
But I hate that kind of Africa.
You know what I'm saying?
Then I'm walking around Africa.
Yeah.
And I'm saying hyenas.
I'm like, God, damn.
They keep hyenas as pets.
Hainas.
Yeah.
They keep hyenas as pets?
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
So you realize I'm American?
I was like, yeah, I'm tough, but I ain't that tough.
You know what I'm saying?
So I had to go back to my roots.
That's what that means.
Like, and my roots is American.
Yeah.
So I, you know, I went back to that American roots.
I started seeing it.
Hey, I start seeing the field.
I started seeing the field, you know, I thought I should have been back to the motherland
but that, nah, that didn't work out for me when I went back.
Where should I take a trip?
Because this one in five weekend I had.
Poland?
Poland?
Oh, yeah.
Poland, Germany, Switzerland.
Just somewhere where all the whites are, you know what I'm saying?
Yeah.
What's happened to Clay Matthews?
No, since Midland Matthews became a thing?
He was riding high.
But it was really like one week.
Oh, one week and then the second week was the song, but it was just, I don't know.
No, no, no, no, no.
You know what he reminds me of?
The Chiefs last year.
Like, yeah, he was winning, but like it was, there was something, there was something flawed
in that foundation.
He started 6 and 0.
There was a whole bunch of back and forth about money lines, moving the line and stuff like
that, then okay, then the next week he goes like two and four, and the next week he goes three
and three, but then he gets a 15 leg parlorating, go, okay, I guess like,
Everybody's cheering.
People forget about this, this little piece right here, that meat,
everyone's just looking at the bread.
Now we keep moving on and now we're seeing one and five.
First of all, it was week 18, and I want my picks back because everybody sat their
starters and I'm over here thinking they're playing for the love of the game like I played
with.
You know what I'm saying?
I went out there week 18.
I was trying to get that 23rd sack.
It might have been 13.
It wasn't 23.
But that's what I was playing for.
We got resting starters.
We got teams taking weeks off.
It threw all.
I want my money back to be on.
with you. I want to, I want to redo on this week 18. It's not fair. It's not right.
Point the finger. Yeah. Since we, since we did the Moneyline Matthew song, Clay Matthews is 19 and 24.
Hey, we did a song. Since we did a song. You didn't do a song. You were against it.
My guys over here, we put together the song, all right? Guys, bus and we. Because as much as you
want to separate yourself as an individual, we're a team. After week 10, after week 10, after we
2010 Delaney was 20 and 34.
Who? Me?
He's now 57.
That's me.
No, no.
Dude.
Yeah, that's terrible.
So what you're saying is there's room for me to improve like Delaney.
You're going to have to.
It's playoffs.
You have to travel abroad.
You have to travel abroad if you want to do what Delaney just did.
Delaney just gave us the opposite of what the movie Roots is about while claiming roots,
going to Africa, saying these are real Africans and then decided he,
maybe I can just go back and watch biking.
or something like just to help out.
But it's been tough.
I'll tell you what.
I think a little bit of it has been just kind of being a pacifist,
trying to smooth things over ever since the episode
where I went money line, went six and all.
We had a crash out Taylor.
We had the boys laughing their ass off.
So I've been kind of playing middle ground.
I've been teasing the spreads a little bit here and there,
and that's not what I want to do, okay?
I just want to get back to making money,
to wins and making money.
And that's with the money line, all right?
So I'm kind of disappointed myself.
Like I put my foot down, but I was like, I mean, it is their show.
Let me play along, you know?
I pulled it back a little bit.
So, like, hey, you know, so that's what's up if you're asking me what's up.
I'm hearing a lot of excuses.
In the three minutes of you talking, in the three minutes of you talking, I fully figured out what kind of teammate you were.
A great teammate.
Hey, this type of teammate.
Did you ever wear Marcus Marriota shirt?
Hey, I got a set today.
Why don't we score more points?
Will, why did you miss that?
that tackle. Yeah? It's Clay Matthews. I'm just, you know, I'm listening to him.
No, you're saying, yeah, like you agree. Over those three minutes, you do hear a lot of excuses.
And I was saying it sucks for me. I look up to you. I looked up to you.
All right. Clay, here's the good news. You went one and five, Will went three and three,
and you're still a game ahead of Will. But with this big thing, what football has is momentum.
Yeah, right now you were lacking a lot of momentum. That's okay. I'm feeling.
You see this shirt, this shirt, because I got a pick that's going to surprise everyone this week.
You guys.
I don't think he's going to surprise you.
I don't be honest though.
I bought this shirt like a couple months ago waiting for the right time to wear it.
Steelers beat the Packers, didn't happen.
A Rotho for 4,000 didn't happen.
But now with that big win over Baltimore with a little bit of momentum that the Steelers have taken on the Texans this week, we'll talk about it.
We'll get to that game.
I admit to that.
This is the type of teammate I am.
If you're crazy, you're wearing a Steeler shirt when it's Chicago hosting the Packers this week.
Yeah.
Am I supposed to wear a Jordan Love shirt?
I didn't play with Jordan Love.
You play for the Packers?
You should be wearing a 52.
There's about a dozen.
I did wear a 52.
I don't really see one right next to Ryan right now.
Hey, they need me back out there.
That's all I'm saying.
They almost called me.
They almost called you?
They almost called me.
It was a 9-20 number.
It was a 9-20 number.
It was a not.
Hey, for real, 9-2-0 number came through my phone.
thought, you know, and it was just one of those credit, $50,000 credit call.
So I said, damn, I thought I was going back.
Clay probably reached out.
You think everybody's going to reach out to me?
Just keep your phone close, man.
Clay's going to call somebody who's, you know, three steps away from the gym and be like,
let them know I can actually do something.
I could probably give you a good three plays.
But that ain't.
Hey.
Is that three sacks?
It could be.
It could be.
You got to pick and choose.
Three plays.
I need a couple.
It's like we talked about a week ago.
I need a couple weeks to...
Yeah, you got to get prepared.
Yeah, but I'm not.
I'm not, okay?
It was a credit call, so don't even worry about it.
Can I tell you something?
Tell me.
I don't know if your wife has told you this.
It's over, man.
Oh, I know.
You can't go back anymore.
No, no, no.
He can give you...
No, stop.
I could give you a couple of plays.
I had to have the same conversation a couple years ago with somebody...
Hey, it's done.
It is done, but I can give you a couple good place.
He could give two plays.
You don't think...
Well, you're lessening the number of times.
I said a couple.
A couple could be two or three.
All right, three.
He gives three.
A few is three, a couple is two.
I guarantee you.
Several is more than three.
Because of my, because of, hey, if you put me on the edge, I guarantee you, and I was
like stretch or something, I can hold that damn edge every, see, I'm getting fired up.
On a round play?
Yeah, hell yeah.
Oh, okay.
Now, I'm talking about, like, realistically, if I'm looking at myself, like, I pull a muscle
or pop an Achilles, something like that.
But I hold that damn edge.
You put me in a nine technique.
I'm going to, I'm going to, I'm going to COBRststrike.
you with this brow right here.
Get those hands inside and, bro, there's,
a cornerback, or excuse me,
running back is going to have to cut back.
You're going to cut it with that.
Yeah, that's all I'm saying.
That's what I'm going to play?
I could do it for 30 plays.
Oh, you could do.
Send the edge.
I'm not talking rushing the passer.
I'm not talking, you kidding.
Send the edge from 30.
I'll show you what I can do on the edge.
I want you to go put your helmet on and I'll show you.
I'm not a tackle.
But come out of me.
This is what I can show you.
This is how, this is the,
You was a, the doubt.
You was a guard, though, on punt.
Hey, hey, don't get a twist.
I'm locking him up on punt.
Bullshit.
Three-time specialty player of the year.
I don't care.
What's that mean?
I seen your highlight take that they put out there.
I see your special team's highlight take they put out there.
And nobody blocked the pun on Willie.
Never.
Never.
Never.
He wouldn't block a punt.
Nobody blocks a punt anymore.
Okay.
I'm not trying to block the punt.
All right.
I'm just, hey, I'm like a great white.
I'm circling back and I'm trying to clean you up and be like,
well, oh, 15 yards, but you're over there in the blue tent,
in the medical tent going out.
I'm begging for the 50.
You show what he did?
Hey, the way.
Where we play, you can't play like that no more.
I know, but I gave him a boy and just because all the city stuff in.
I'll tell you this, everything you just said sounded phenomenal.
There's some, there's a Packers fan watching your show.
That's like, he's six to midnight right now.
By the way you just talked.
That's all I need.
I'm letting you know, this cobra strike technique,
you're thinking of, that edge is grabbed.
That edge is, you're going in there like this,
realize, oh shit, they're faster because I forgot.
Now the edge is taken.
No.
It's so easy to set an edge.
It's so easy to set an edge.
It is.
It's not.
I mean, I literally made Ryan watch film with me yesterday.
It's technique.
You're playing against bombs.
You don't know how to use their face and hands.
Got to fucking, got to know.
Hey, I'm with you on that shoulder.
Not me.
Oh, you're not.
Somebody else's catching you on that shoulder.
Oh, you're not.
Oh, shit.
I'm losing contain.
I got a wide.
and there goes the inside arm.
You're out of there.
No.
88 and out the gate, B gap.
See you.
It ain't happening.
Catch you nevers.
It ain't happened.
Brother, I used to have Chris Johnson try me on the edge and I went out.
Me used to.
Hey, used to.
I had to.
Once upon a time.
Like this ain't a fairy tale brother.
Rapalda.
Hey, don't.
Don't be mean.
I'm not being mean.
I'm not being mean.
I'm just let my man know.
You just, it's over.
This is doubt though.
Yes.
See, I don't take, I don't take well to doubt.
So I'll always bet on myself.
I'll tell you what, dude.
I'm done playing. It's over.
Listen, how about this?
How about this?
The Nashville Cats.
I'm good.
They train and they have a spring league.
Why don't you go play a game?
I'm good.
You weren't really known as a run defender, though.
Yes, I was.
Don't listen to the narrative.
Just because I got so many sacks,
you saw me as the sack guy,
but I was stopping the run.
Yeah, you're a pass rusher.
I was a pass rusher because I did it so well,
but I also stopped the run.
No, no, no.
You just say you don't watch film.
Sometimes.
Let's talk about this show.
Delaney knows?
Yeah, he wasn't a run-stopper.
Bills are at the jazz.
We played them a lot.
You get off your knees, bro.
I mean, we played them a lot.
It was 49ers and the Packers was a thing.
But what happened when we played the Titans and the Titans Packers at home?
I wasn't even out there.
Clay Matthews at the flute.
Yeah, we beat the shit out of it.
How many time you captured outside shoulder?
Hey, I was so stoked when you didn't play.
I was like, oh my God.
We ran double.
You were like a late scratch, right?
Yeah.
Like 90 minute clock hit.
And he would always go outside.
It was like, Friday.
It would be the two tight insets.
It would be the two tight insets.
I was just like straight,
I was like, oh no.
It was bad.
But did they say you weren't playing until
because I remember
us playing and then like
the Clay Matthews in my mind
I'm like oh shit I have to go against Clay who gave me my
NFL. Well, welcome to the NFL. And we had a guy
wearing your jersey too. You were on the injury port. You were
not active for that game and I remember being like
what a day we're about that. Oh, we took it first play.
First play. Yeah. And I had an Emmy on that play.
What a day. You were out. You were
yeah, you play almost just as many places I did
Yeah.
Play three plays.
Two to three good plays.
I played three plays.
I was in there for 65% of our rush yards.
That game.
And then Jake Matthews,
so as ACL that game.
Jake Matthews?
Ryan.
Ryan.
Yeah, Jake Ryan.
My boy.
So I went in the locker with him.
Oh, backer.
Backer.
Michigan.
Yeah, Michigan boy.
Yeah, had the long hair.
Had the clay.
Had the clay.
He had the one.
He had the number 47.
Yeah.
He's like, dude, I can't wait to meet him.
He said you were a good teammate.
Regardless of everything you just said on the show.
Hey, it's funny because he texted me the other day.
He goes, hey, I guess I know he's a Michigan guy.
And perhaps you guys are boys.
He goes, hey, how are you liking the show?
I was like, it's cool.
And he's like, what's Taylor's deal?
And I knew immediately what he was doing.
He was like, the boys were, yeah, he was trying to set me up to say something
because you got all your little birds whispering over here.
So I got to be careful.
Everybody talks in this here.
Everybody talks.
We are boys.
We are boys.
Yeah.
So I got to keep it to myself.
There's some whispers going around.
What's his deal?
I'm like, what?
We talked about momentum.
We talked about you being one or five, Will, although he's behind you,
is three and three, the little bit momentum difference.
This show is brought to us by Jim Bean.

But the postseason can be stressful.
That's correct, Will Compton, crushing losses, wild upsets,

We just contributed to a... We're the first people to do podcasts.
Pretty, yeah, pretty wide range of podcasts throughout there. But this one's extra special.
So how do we actually come up with the name Hey Jonas, guys?
I honestly don't remember.
I think it was on a call about what we should call it.
Well, we were thinking I'm originally calling it one of the early names of our band before Jonas Brothers.
This is how you guys remember it going down?
Yes.
I have a very different memory of this.
We were talking about a thing, a bit for the podcast, where people could call in and say, hey, Jonas.
And then I wrote down on my little notepad, Hey, Jonas, and offered it up as a potential title for the podcast.
But thanks for remembering that, guys.

The French Open is one of the toughest tests in tennis,
and I know firsthand because I competed there myself.
I'm Renee Stubbs, and on the Renee Stubbs Tennis podcast,
I'm breaking down everything happening at Roland Garris.
Every match, every upset, and what it really takes to win on clay.
Genshin win.
I mean, she went down at three to, two.
Rabakina, but I'm delighted.
She's an outsider to win the French for me.
And she likes Clay.

Vermont, Kentucky.
The bills are playing the job.
Jags or at the Jags.
I'm starting with that. Bills are favored at
one and a half. Total points in the game is 52
and a half. We talk about momentum.
Jags are in an eight-game winning streak right now.
Momentum in the playoffs.
Will Compton back in, I think it was
late September, early Spooktober. He goes,
keep around the Jags. Sneaky team.
I'd love to know where Clay Matthews is going.
I'm just saying, hey, without
Mahomes, Joey B
and Lamar Jackson.
Trevor Lawrence is time.
might just ruin my setup man you might find it might be hard
was it's my fault that's all good and you see the accountability though because i like that
like that there's no hotter team right now than the jacksonville jag was right now i think just
because those aforementioned quarterbacks are not in the playoffs does not mean this is josh
allen's year i think their their team their defense especially there's there's they're just missing
and pieces and they play from behind.
I don't think it's going to work well from there.
I see the Jaguars getting this.
I like the money line here.
They're also thin at cornerback.
Maxwell Hirsten was injured.
And I don't, with who they sat in Week 18 with Bosa and who's the safety,
Poir, you know, like who's playing, who's not?
I think their defense is a liability right now.
Josh Allen is going to have to put on his cape and make something happen.
But I just don't see it happen.
I think the Jags are just too hot.
You saw Trevor Lawrence in the locker room
putting on the grill after the game.
Like, it just looks like it's coming together.
Liam Cohen's got something special going down there.
And I think the winner of this game is going to represent the AFC.
Oh, yeah, definitely.
That's a nice thing.
That's a nice take on that for sure.
That's a nice take.
So you're taking the Jags?
I'm taking the Jags money lines.
I'm taking the Jags money line.
I mean, wait, I'm sorry.
The one and a half.
We'll reassessed after this week, but I believe.
I love it.
I love it.
You're going Jags as well.
You already know.
I know.
Sneaky Jacksonville Jaguars.
No longer sneaky anymore.
No longer sneaky.
No longer sneaky.
But they are the hot team right now.
And I feel like Bill's, they got to meds out anywhere.
It's that quarterback and running back.
Not, you know, not by a whole lot knowing what's around Josh Allen, but the rest is the Jacksonville Jaguars.
And Jaguars got a game at home.
The culture giving the grill to Trevor Lawrence.
Oh, what the crowd about to be crazy up there in Jacksonville.
How much are you believing in a white boy?
if you, on your own terms, go out and getting real.
Yeah.
Fucking a lot.
I mean, yeah.
Fucking a lot indeed.
He's at the cookout.
Yeah.
He's at the cookout for sure.
He, you know, he'd be doing his own little, he dance, he does his TikTok stuff.
He, he, he that dude, you know what I'm saying.
I put him in Mac, all those dudes in the same, like, I fuck with them.
Like, you know, we can ride, you know.
Not all white boys.
Not all.
Yeah, we can ride in.
some dirt go down, I know they ain't going to say nothing.
Who's a white boy you're not rocking with?
That's a tough one.
I don't think I ever really found a white boy.
I feel like going to snitch on me.
And if so, you're never probably getting close enough with him
to even think about who that would be.
Yeah, you see him from a distance.
You see how you act.
That's not one I want to be around.
Don't even learn his name.
Nah, yeah, because I've even been around police.
I like Jeb.
Like, that's the home.
Jeff's not a real place off.
He was.
He was a real police officer.
He was.
That is the home.
me though. That's the...
Jet pulls you over, you're like, all right.
All right, hey, hey. Good see. Yeah, good see.
I can't tell you how many times it's been pulled over and the police officer has been like,
listen, you were speeding. I should give you a ticket, but I don't want Jeb to call me in time.
Yeah, yeah. I was like, okay, so just slow down.
Every time I got to I brought it to Jay. He's like, oh, I know him. I'll give him a call.
I'm like, oh, thanks, man.
He'd take care of him. Shut up, Jim. Hornish guy in the world.
Oh, yeah. Okay. Jags, Jags. I mean, I'm going Jags.
You just got to look at it.
If you look at history between the bills and the Jags,
the Jags have not rolled over easily for the bills.
And I think the Jaguars may have the top figure on winning losses against the Buffalo bills.
So I look at it, one and a half.
This is a coin toss.
Jaguars are hot.
They bent hot.
They got home field advantage.
Buffalo got it going to Jacksonville.
I'm sure it's going to be around 70 to 80 degrees there in Jacksonville.
Can we get a weather check on that club?
80s nuts.
80s.
Maybe you're 60s.
I'm going to say no higher than 70.
By 70, 80, 90s.
Yeah, it's going to be 104.
I think they're high this week.
Sunday.
Sunday.
69.
60.
Or, hey.
70.
80.
You didn't say 70.
70.
70 degrees.
Whoa.
See, I mean,
I mean,
I know that humidity.
He kicks in.
That shit hits in.
We should have never doubted you.
Five and one.
Never, never.
And he said Jacksonville?
I'm like, okay.
He understands the process.
So all of us are going to Jacksonville?
Money line.
Wow.
Love it.
Yeah, Jacksonville.
All right.
I'm going to go to Bill.
I'm going to go the Bill's.
I like the bills.
I love the fact that the Jacksonville Jaguarers are hot right now.
Trevor Lawrence, the Grill, all over those things play for me.
I'm a big fan of that.
Eight wins in a row.
That's huge.
Buffalo Bills have the most yards per game in rushing.
What happens to the playoffs?
What's your rush like?
How do you move the change?
over and over again. That's a big deal for the bills. They're also 66% in the red zone.
They're the third most efficient team in the NFL when they approach the red zone and that
includes touchdowns. They get touchdowns, not three. That's what matters most in the situation.
People are going to say there's going to be a stat that comes out there. Josh Allen's 0 and 4 in
playoff games on the road. That's going to be a set that scares you a little bit. The three of those
that doesn't scare you. Three of those were Patrick Mahomes. The other one was his first. I love
the fact that Joe Burrow,
Lamar Jackson, Patrick and Holmes are not
in this. I said in the beginning of the year
the bills are going to be in the Super Bowl.
We're now in January. I believe it.
I'm taking the bills
to cover. One and a half
points is we're all doing money lines and stuff. So I'll cover.
It's one and a half. You go money lines and you want to?
Well, no, it's the same. It's literally a pickle.
I mean, it's a pick-um. I mean, that's why we just
saying. Yeah, bills one and a half is minus one or two.
Bill's money-line is minus one. You're going to be sick.
You're going to be sick.
All right, you're right, I'll take the bill.
Yeah, it's a five point difference.
Don't get bullied.
You bullied me out of my pick last week.
Who wasn't?
No, no, no, no.
He just helped me.
That's like a bully.
I know you're upset about that.
That's okay.
I know you're upset about that.
You saw something happen and that was just enough to scratch that scab, let you bleed again.
Yeah, that's a lay out there.
Because if they win the game by one, I'm fucked.
If they win the game in general, which is I'm saying.
The Panthers.
They lost by, they lost by two.
But listen, but, but,
But you want to be Moneyline Matthews.
I'm trying to help you identify what we're going to be.
But money line is not six money lines.
And I can't help you.
I had to learn the hard way.
Money line is not six money lines.
It's when the Rams are 10 and a half point favorites, money line.
Because you need guarantees.
You're not stressing about, oh, it was plus three.
You didn't feel bad about going money line and you just hate that they lost by two.
I hate it.
I hate to learn the hard way.
And that's all right.
Not listening to you.
That's how I learned.
Chump.
I just wanted to see MoneyLy Mett.
Can't play it if we're losing.
We got next.
We got Chargers going out to the Patriots.
Patriots favorite by three and a half.
The over under on this game is 46.5 points.
What's the pick?
This is tough one.
I'm going to let y'all talk, though.
They got to go.
What's the pick?
You're the hottest hand in the game.
I know.
Like in the league,
bro.
It's Delaney.
People got the muleposts.
And just give your own opinion.
Don't give a pick until I talk.
So give your opinion on the game.
And then don't give y'all, don't give your,
y'all pick until I talk.
Damn, he just said something.
That's a wild, so you want us to just talk
about the game.
No, here I'll go.
So when you look at this game,
this is a tough one.
Both coaches, man.
Both coaches, right?
Yeah.
I love them both.
Dearily.
I love them both dearly.
And it goes to who's going to perform
at the highest level?
Who's fresher?
Right now, I look at the Patriots,
playing their starters, getting it on the ground,
getting it out of them, right?
They got the play, they didn't get no rest,
so they still active.
I believe in being active.
I believe the players who are fresh, active,
and still playing the dudes who took a break,
I don't know why, I feel like you always gotta
motivate yourself to get going again.
And that's what scares me about the charges.
All the starters took a break against the charge last week game.
So none of the starters played,
I am very scared about that.
Because the Patriots are on fire.
Their players are hype.
They got a great coach that's going to get them ready for this game.
It's in New England.
It's in New England.
It's going to be cold.
L.A. all plays in the dome.
They're not used to the cold weather.
They can't even simulate the cold weather in Los Angeles.
So I just feel like this is going to be a tough game.
It's going to be a low-scoring game.
Hey, I like that last line.
You said.
You want to go under at 46.5.
Because I'm with you on that.
This is going to be a low scoring game.
The Chargers defense is playing like a top five defense right now.
True.
I think this is a tough matchup.
I think in my little world that I live in, the Chargers wrestling their stars,
not only is going to help them as far as maybe not getting it back up,
but also they perhaps wanted to play New England because they saw something that was a easier,
dare I say, easier matchup, a better matchup.
a better matchup for them.
So I think I like the under here.
I think the Patriots are going to win,
but I like the under at 46 and a half.
And everything you said is great,
because the Chargers beat the Patriots 40 to 7.
Chargers beat the Patriots?
Yes.
When?
The Chargers, remember what the Chargers did.
They beat the Patriots 40 to 7.
You read an article?
I'm reading my notes.
I'm reading my notes.
I don't think they played this year, did that?
You had a note that tells you remember.
Yeah.
I didn't say remember.
I'm going to let you check that.
Is that, look that up.
Yeah, they didn't play this year.
Yeah, I don't let they play.
Sometimes, sometimes chat GPT gets it messed up.
Chia GBT does fuck up.
No, they say Chad, GBT.
He and he's thinking, wait, what?
Week 17 last year, right?
Okay.
So with the patients, they were four and 12.
Week 17 last year.
You're five and one.
Staying on a new shape, dude.
That's why I'm taking the over on 46.
and a half. Oh, no. Because they got a new coach and new quarter, they're feeling good.
Yeah. I'll just let me spin. Y'all can't let me spin. I got a point with all this shit, man.
What is it? It's going to be a high score.
47 last year. And they got a different coach. I see it's a whole different mindset. They're going to put points on the board.
You're seeing the numbers within the numbers. Yes. The over under on this game is 46 and a half.
taking the over. Last year's school was 40 to 7 47. That's kind of foreshadowing that this is an over
game. This is an over game. See what I see me? I'm sorry for laughing at you.
Damn, I didn't think about it like that. That's how I look at things, man. That's why I had a note.
Remember what happened last year. Yeah. We don't. But I'm starting to start to
see a little bit. I like where your head's at. Chargers defense. They play a great defense,
but they also play zone. Over 80% of the time. And when they do that, if you just look over on the
other side of the ball, Drake May, when he has zone defense against him, the 72 and a half percent
completion. I mean, he's the man. He's the man in every situation. Which is number one. 110.5
pass-a rating against zone. I like the over. I like the Patriots more. The more you're
look into it this is Patriots all the way defenses they put up 34 to half points for game
since December while their defense is only given up 18.8 points for game like they are a complete
team with a team as young as they are too yeah them having that two seed is the best seed for them
because they get to host home games but also I think a break would be more detrimental to them
than it would be good for them yeah with how young they are you have to young and maturity kind
of go hand in hand so for them just to keep their foot in the gas after losing the bills a couple
weeks ago. I like Drake
May. I like the Patriots.
I like them beating the Chargers in New England.
So are you taking them to cover?
I'm taking them to cover. Unless we're all doing money lines,
then I'll take them money line.
I mean, that three and a
I mean, under. Under.
Hey, I like the money line.
You want to do a Patriot Money Line?
I'm a Patriot Money Line?
When you go in the playoffs, brother, it's kind of like
money lines.
It's neck and neck.
We have thrown the trash way
in the NFL. Like, now it's
good teams with good defenses and good playmakers and up besides panthers and so you just got to look at
and be like you're like to go these are money line games because i like the option i could see over
i could see under but the one i feel most confident about is the patriots are going to win the
when the clock strike zero the patriot season continues that's what i can see how much i can't see
that i'm not seeing that clearly what i do see is the patriot in the division around do you think
there's a world where herbert carries this chargers team to the next level because new england does
not have, because what's the one weakness, the Achilles heel of the Chargers this whole year?
It's been that their offensive line has been out and it's been Herbert's been under duress
and he's had to do things on his own and taking hits, breaking his hand.
Yeah, injuries.
The Patriots have a middle of the road defense, or at least pass rush that is.
I think they're middle as far as sacks are concerned.
So is there a world in which we live in where Herbert just sits back there as comfortable and can do
his thing that he's done when he's not under duress?
But he hasn't done it in the playoffs.
What, last year?
They might want to get that taste.
Was that last year when he threw?
They lost to the Texas last year.
Yeah, right.
He threw a ton of interceptions.
He threw a ton of intercepts.
He was up losing that in the second half.
You're right.
At some point, Herbert has to get the playoffs off his back.
And to keep building on that, like,
Chargers have both their tackles for.
They're on their, like, fourth and fifth tackles at this point.
And the Patriots don't generate a whole lot of pressure
unless they're doing stimulated pressures.
So I'm with you on that.
L.A. team,
going out to Foxboro?
Yeah.
At this point, first of, Drake May is less injured than Justin Herbert.
Justin Herbert had himself a thumb injury.
He willed his team into a win playing Philly after that injury.
Was he going to play?
Was he not going to play?
Is that enough time after a surgery?
Gets it done.
I just look at Drake May and the numbers he's putting up that will eloquently put on the bus
earlier this week.
And those are really hard numbers to ignore, especially against a great defense.
Chargers have a great defense.
Yeah, but because they play zone so much and then just look on the other side of ball,
I was like, okay, how's this cat do against zone?
Everything's kind of tipping to the meter of,
we got Drake May, we got the Patriots,
and they're going to be in the divisional round.
Yeah, two good coaches.
I think they're going to prepare these teams as well,
so that's why I didn't pick a game.
Drake May is him, too, bro.
It's his first time in the playoffs.
So how can we say he's him if he hasn't even played the playoffs?
Y'all want to shit on Herbert because,
I am watching, but I'm just saying if we can shit on Herbert
for, you know, a bad game last year and all those interceptions.
I'm not shitting on him.
I'm just saying to me he's like,
in the mental box of like a Lamar Jackson.
Right.
There's a sample size of Justin Herbert where you go,
can he get it in the playoffs?
Drake May, he's sitting there post-game interviews.
Like, hey, how do you feel about the MVP race?
He's like, that's a team award.
If I win, it's because of the team.
Saying all the right things.
He's doing all the right things.
He's doing the right things.
The mentality process.
And we don't know, does he change?
Does he kind of get a little tighter in the playoffs?
I don't know that.
I'm willing to bet he doesn't.
Yeah, it is why it brings big goods to the squad.
Oh shit?
For real?
Wow.
What was it?
Drake Mae's wife. Do we know what it was?
Yeah, she like sends in baked goods. She's got a little TikTok page.
Chocolate chip cookies. A little TikTok page? Yeah, they've
done, they've done, well, they've covered it.
They've covered it on a couple games. I've kind of
seen some articles. I've dipped my toe in there.
Yeah. But you know how the boys get excited
when somebody's bringing in some treats.
Yeah. And then it's become a headline
where at the facility? Yeah.
Someone's wife, someone's cooks up and then you get there and there's a nice little
festive, like tin can holding something nice in there. You're like, oh shit, who made this?
You never touched those? I need this. I need this
see their house first though.
Oh, they might be dirty.
Stop lying.
Cats.
They may I guess, shit, and dogs and shit.
Hey, Clem's wife brings stuff in all the time and you eat it.
I only ate the becon pie.
Sometimes I don't know if you're breathing.
That's it.
It was a pecan pie.
I like, I ate the macaw pie.
But who did I tell somebody when they first put it?
I said, I don't eat snacks.
Somebody was in there, I'm like, I don't eat that.
And then he, I said, who brought this?
And he, that's when I asked him about pecan pie.
He knew what he was talking about.
What did you say to me then?
Would you ask me about my wife?
Was she black?
Is she drunk?
No.
She's as one as can be.
Yeah, she's as well as can be.
Sweetheart.
She'd get invited to cook out.
She came by with the kids.
They were dressed as you two, right?
Oh, yeah, yeah.
That was Halloween.
Yeah, that was her, yeah.

Hey, it's us to Jonas Brothers, and guess what? We have some big news. What's the news?
Huge news. We created our own podcast called, Hey Jonas, we invented a podcast? Well, we didn't
invent it. We just contributed to it. We're the first people to do podcasts.
Pretty, yeah, pretty wide range of podcasts throughout there.
But this one's extra special.
So how did we actually come up with a name,
Hey Jonas, guys?
I honestly don't remember.
I think it was on a call about what we should call it.
Oh, we were thinking I'm originally calling it
one of the early names of our band.
Before Jonas Brothers was...
This is how you guys remember it going down?
Yes.
I have a very different memory of this.
We were talking about a thing, a bit for the podcast,
people could call in and say, hey, Jonas.
And then I wrote down on my little notepad,
Hey Jonas and offered it up as a potential title for the podcast.

Every match, every upset,
and what it really takes to win on clay.
Jen she won.
I mean, she went down in three to Rabakina, but I'm delighted.
She's an outsider to win the French for me.
And she likes Clay.
Listen, Lena Rabakina is arguably the best player in the world right now
and I actually can win on any surface
because if she's serving, well, good luck.
Consider this your court side seat to the French Open.

Presented by Capital One, founding partner of I Heart Women's Sports.
Form Energy, we do the work.
Back to the episode.
Texans.
Yeah.
Texans Steelers.
We got Houston at Pittsburgh.
Steelers are, or Texans are favored by three points in this game.
The over under on this game, a whopping 39 and a half.
Clay Matthews, you have the shirt, you have the floor.
Surprise us with this one.
Hey, I think the easy pick here is the Texans just because of how poor the Steelers have played this year,
specifically on offense.
But you look at, it was like weeks 14 to 16,
the Steelers were top 10 in points scored,
passing yards in yards per game
before D.K. Metcalf's suspension,
which obviously you throw everything out the door
because he's their only true number one threat.
I just can't bet against A. Rod.
Let me go back.
The Texans offense, they do not generate a lot of points.
Their defense is what keeps them in games.
The Steelers, I mean, there's very few games that they've been blown out.
They have not lived up to expectations or what they envisioned they saw with DK, with Aaron, with their running game, whatever it may be.
But I really like Aaron in this situation to get it done here.
I think with D.K. coming back, he's going to have a big game.
I don't believe he has to.
That run game has gotten better.
I think defensively, they can do enough to get it done against, you know, a Texan's offense that isn't putting up points at will.
So I just, I like this.
I'm not taking the money line here.
But I like the Steelers.
They're at plus three.
I like them at plus four and a half.
Oh.
Yeah.
So I'm teasing it up a little bit.
So Steelers plus four and a half.
Yeah.
That's what you like.
That's what I like.
I do think the Steelers get it done,
but I'm leaving myself a little buffer.
I'm leaving myself a little bit there.
Like a big surprise.
Yeah, yeah.
The surprise was I got a reason to wear the show.
I think we started the show with.
I got to pick today that's going to blow your guys.
Yeah.
Well, let me hear what you guys pick.
All I'm saying is not only did you not pick Steelers plus three still with the capability to lose.
I'm trying to win.
I'm trying to win.
So no matter what I say, it's up to these guys to bring it home.
I hear you.
That's a Josh Payers.
I hear it.
Texas is on a nine game winning streak right now.
Momentum.
Momentum coming in.
Hey, Steelers, one and all.
Momentum.
They just sealed whatever division.
they're in.
It's hard to go against the Texas defense.
I know the offense struggles, but I feel like,
even coming off a game, too, where they allow
Riley Leonard to have some success against that defense.
Bro, this is, it's so hard to go against.
Yeah, it's so hard to go against this Texas defense.
I feel like Houston's going to be the team here.
Steelers, they have these, like,
there's just so much inconsistency.
And then at the end of the year, when they go in their last five,
was it four and one?
Was it four and one, something like that?
They dropped one of the Browns with their,
ended up taking care of business against the Ravens
and winning games that you weren't assuming that they
were going to win. Even last
week, Ravens, they just missed
the field goal. Just wide right.
And there's just nothing that I
can hang my hat on with the Pittsburgh Steelers because
if I go Steelers, say I'll go Steelers
plus three here. If Houston wins and they cover
and all this stuff, it's like, yeah, that was the
obvious pick the entire time.
So you're right, it is the easier pick, and I'm
going with the Houston, Texas. I like
I got two notes here.
Texas defense
along the fewest yards per game
and they have the second fewest points per game
allowed. That's the Texas defense.
Steelers defense. Top eight in both
sacks and interceptions.
Was it 39 and a half?
That's an under game. This is a 1310 game.
This is, that's exactly
what this game is.
Onward.
Okay.
You know, I'm looking at this game.
This is 1310.
Houston do have a great defense.
Great defense, but I see it as an over, over 39 and a half.
Who do you think he's going to win?
Two top dogs going out of it right now.
I really don't know who's going to win this game.
Be honest with you, I felt like the Steelers showed up
and put some offense together for the first time against the Ravens.
The second half, they looked good.
They looked good.
But then you got Houston.
They're starting to, their offense is starting to move.
They starting to put points on the boy.
You look at Indianapolis, they put up 38 points against Indie.
Yes, we can say how good.
can Indy defense be? At first in the beginning of season, Indy defense was a good defense at the time.
So if they could put up 38 points against Andy, I just really feel like they're going to put up points against
Pittsburgh Steelers. But I think the Steelers will be able to score points as well, too. So I'm going to take
this as an over game, 39 and a half. Love it. Next game. Rams at Panthers.
Rams are favored by minus 10 and a half. Total points in the game is 46 and a half.
You want to go back in time when these two teams played?
Matthew Stafford, clear frontrunner.
Before the MVP, that is still the same now that we see it in the present time.
When he played the Panthers, three interceptions.
Panthers were seven for 15 on third down, but three for three on fourth down.
Yeah.
It was a game that the Rams sit there and they're like, you got some?
I was going to say, he's got some.
No, two of those four, two of those fourth down conversions, touchdowns by Bryce Young.
Yeah.
You go back and watch the game.
It took a near perfect game by Carolina for them to win.
I mean, because I remember watching it real time.
It was just Bryce Young, Matthew Stafford, back and forth.
You're thinking, yo, it's Bryce Young for real.
But the Rams moved the ball at will that game.
And it wasn't for those two interceptions.
One was in the red zone.
It was tipped, caught.
The other one, Mike Jackson, you know, stepped in front of it,
ran it back for a touchdown.
But Kyron Williams and Blake Quorum had over 150 yards rush in.
Devante had two touchdowns, I believe.
It was a rough game for Forbes.
for the Rams on those fourth down plays.
I just think the Panthers had the game exactly where they wanted to with the lead.
They managed the clock.
I just don't see the Rams make, they lost a turnover margin this game.
I don't see that happening again.
And like I said, the Panthers had to play near perfect game.
The Rams are built to win on the road.
I don't like the Rams at minus 10 and a half.
I like it at minus six and a half.
That's only a minus 210 change.
So give me the Rams at minus 6.
and a half. I'll take that exact same bet. I like exactly where you're sitting. I think the Rams
probably do cover this. Insurance policy. There you go. Insurance policy. There you go. I'm okay.
Well, I mean, the Rams are going to win this game, but I don't think the Panthers are going to
lay down like everyone is thinking. They're getting to the playoffs, having this opportunity,
don't swan to a little way. At least make it a competition game. Like go out there,
to peat your ass off and keep it close. They didn't even win to get in. They've lost. They're back
in their way in. I trust me. I, I, I, I, I,
The run game hasn't been the same in recent weeks.
Rico Dowdle hasn't done much.
Yeah, he's falling off a little bit.
Once you start figuring it out.
But again, I think it's the playoffs.
I just think they may have a chip on their shoulder.
Panthers.
No one expected the Panthers to be in this situation that we're staring at right now.
So, yes, they may come out there with a chip on their shoulder and play a little, play better football.
Can they win this game?
I don't know.
But if they do, I'm going to take the Panthers.
If they win the game, you'll take the Panthers.
No, no, I'm just saying I'm taking the Panthers just in case they end up winning this game.
But if they end up losing it, I feel like 10 and a half is crazy.
Yeah, I just feel like 10 and a half is crazy.
If they blow these boys out the water, then, yeah, we know now.
The Panthers should have never even been in this situation.
It shouldn't have anyway.
But the Rams are filing in all cylinders.
Like, that's not a.
I know, I know.
It's not an egregious line.
It really took the last time.
Because to Clay's point, to Clay's point, too, it's like, do you think the Carolina is going to win the turnover battle on this?
and the two touchdowns on fourth down is nuts.
Like, do you actually see that happening again?
I don't know what I see happening.
I see them taking chances.
They have nothing to lose.
So, yes, they're going to go forward on fourth down.
Yes, they're going to make, they're going to have plays out there.
They probably have never put out there just to see what happens because they know going
into this game, the Rams is the toughest team in the NFL right now.
They know that.
They're talking about what can we do to make ourselves better?
What can we have in our back pocket that they may not seem before this year?
So I don't know.
I just, I always like the Panthers, and I'm going to stick with them.
I'm going to go under 46.5.
I see the Panthers kind of laying the dud.
I see this could be where, you know, Rams sit here and cover the line at minus 10.5.
I don't see the Panthers generating a whole lot of offense, so I'm going to take the under.
I think that Rams went handily, but the line 10 and a half scares me.
Negative momentum with the Panthers.
Negative momentum.
Negative momentum.
Yeah.
Weird momentum.
Weird.
Weird. Hey, we lost what we're in.
Yeah. Yeah.
That's a weird deal.
That's weird.
You put, yeah, you don't control your situation.
You got to watch another game bag.
I hope you got.
We got to play the Rams again?
Yeah.
Damn.
We're going to be able to generate the two touchdowns.
Oh, once they're twice.
Hard to be two times.
Once they seen they had to play the Rams again, I don't know they was like, fuck.
And then that.
But you believe in them.
You believe in them more than they believe in themselves.
I believe that they're not going to get beat more by 11 points.
I just don't see it happen.
I see a touchdown.
It's the playoffs.
Yeah.
It's the playoffs.
The playoffs.
Every playoffs I've been
ain't been close.
I mean, the bills mop the Panthers
earlier this year.
Huh?
We're talking about.
I said playoffs.
I don't know we're talking about playoffs.
I'm just saying like 10 and a half
I don't think is that crazy.
It's not crazy.
If you look at all the other lines
and then you see 10 and a high.
I'm 6 and a half.
You don't usually see a 10 and a half line
in the playoffs.
Like that's crazy.
Yeah.
They should be like the Panthers
like the G5.
Yeah.
They like the Panthers
shouldn't even be here.
That's literally what Vegas is saying.
Yeah well.
What do we feel about the 49ers?
49ers are at the Eagles.
Eagles are favored by four and a half points.
Total points that game is 44 and a half.
Before we get into this game,
I believe Clump has presents for y'all.
I know I struggled with my white elephant gift,
so I decided to give you guys a gift for 40.
Eagles fan, Clump.
Can't wait to see this.
Went to the local Costco here in Nashville,
and I just wanted to show you who's on the week.
Wow. Before you guys fit. Is this like old or new? These are brand new right now in your local
Nashville supporting. Wow. Before you pit. I mean yeah I mean I saw the heat we was taking on a social.
Dude I know they're going up and seeing kids in the Wheatie box being like it'd be so sick to be on a
be on a weedie box that way weren't you on the weed's box before yeah yeah clay was on uh
I was I was on the sugar one the one the one the one
and had all the extra sugar on it.
Yeah.
That energy that you hated.
Yeah, the good taste than the one.
Hey, thanks, clump.
I appreciate that.
Kids will love us.
Eagles favored by four and a half?
Four and nineers.
What's up?
Oh, do we want your...
Clump's just wanted to make a bet that the Eagles are going to win the Super Bowl.
I don't know what you want me to do, but my, my proposition is if the Eagles win the Super Bowl,
you have to pay for my wife and myself to go to the Eagles Super Bowl parade.
to celebrate in Philadelphia when they win.
Oh, shit.
Southwest ticket.
Hey, first class, nice hotel.
That's all we all is.
First class, nice hotel.
I was going to say you have to sell us.
Will Compton's credit card.
Will Compton's credit card.
You have to pay for us to go to the parade,
hook us up, make it fun.
You don't even need tickets out of parades.
You don't.
You just got to get them there.
You just got to get them there.
What can you get from him?
If the Eagles don't win the Super Bowl.
You can kind of come up with what you want.
I don't know what you're thinking.
You guys got any ideas?
Well, I know there was a rumor floating around a couple days ago about a Nebraska and tattoo on his ass.
Oh, shit.
That sounds like a fair trade to me.
That's crazy.
Just do the top comment one.
You know, like when people post something, they say, I'll do the top comment.
And that's what you do.
No, no, no, don't do that.
Not with the fans we have.
We had this conversation to do.
I have enough tattoos to tell you, like, I have about two dozen dumb tattoos that are like, these look ridiculous.
You don't even think about it.
You even think about it.
Yeah, you can blend it.
An ass tattoo is funny too
Oh no, Tom
Stay pure, buddy
Tell me get a little ant
We get Joey to do it right there
At the shot
A little ant
I ain't getting nothing on my
No
No no
He said no
You gotta get your
You gotta get your ears pierce like
Something other than a tattoo
Let's uh
You could just we can do
Um
He doesn't
Colum's got to get his ears
20 minutes
He's got to get his ears pierced like
Are you doing anything
Yeah he's gonna be
Yeah he's gonna do it
You're doing anything?
Well, you can't say no.
You can't say no.
Get a, we get you set up looking like Jalen Hertz.
Looking like Jalen Hertz.
You got anything going on in Nebraska next year?
One, hey, one ear.
Make them do some stand-up and try everybody at a live show.
Nothing just for a day.
Here's pierced and he's got to go Robert Downing Jr.
from Topper, Tropic Thunder.
Because something that's coming to my head.
A black dude.
Something simple that's coming through my head is just what I went through when I lost with the bus and bowl.
You got to shave, you got to shave your head.
You got to shave your face.
That's easy.
Yes, just my face?
No, your head in your face, he said.
Shamed my head in my face.
Your neck and your back.
You'll start winning the Super Bowl.
He will look totally different.
You got to get your chest waxed.
I know he's not going to win, but I'm telling you like, the tattoo thing.
40-year-old virgin.
I ain't do it.
The tattoo.
No, that's fake.
You have any tattoos?
I have two tattoos.
Oh, man, you'll do a tattoo.
You do a tattoo.
He got two tattoos.
He got two tattoos.
A small little cute-ass little Times New Roman, Nebraska.
We can talk about it.
We can follow up.
Or we can follow up.
We can follow up.
We can follow up.
I'm like the ear.
I thank you for the gift.
Thank you for the gift.
Thank you for the gift.
In the game, again, the Eagles served by four and a half.
I think the answer is right here on the box, fellas.
What's it say?
100% toasted.
Hey, that was good.
That was fucking good.
Niners?
Nineers.
Nineers.
Whoa, whoa, whoa.
Whoa, whoa.
I'm sorry. I thought.
So good.
Oh, I thought you were going with the Eagles here, brother.
No.
No, that was a trick.
He said they toast.
Okay, tell me how.
They burnt toast.
No, I liked it.
It was really good.
It was kind of mad.
I didn't think of it.
It was good.
Hey, tell me how.
Boys, trying to do a show, okay?
Tell me how the 49ers are going to beat the Eagles here.
Because we saw what happened when they played the-
I know.
I know.
I know.
And you saw what happened when they play.
The Texans, the Rams, and the Seahawks.
The 49ers cannot generate much, if anything, on offense.
And now they're going against those teams.
Texans, Rams, Seahawks.
And now they're going on the road to Philadelphia.
And what's the one thing they do well?
Defense.
Defense.
Vic Fangio, former head coach, he's going to have it dialed up for these boys.
I like Philadelphia right here.
I like them.
I ain't taking the, what do I have up here?
Give me the egos at minus two and a half.
You're right.
You are correct.
My man, you, you made, that's a...
I'm just scared.
It's personal for me.
Yeah, it is a little personal.
The emotional tie I'm feeling toward the Niners is just imagine yourself.
You were on that roster, because there's several guys, staff included that was on that
roster when they went out to Philly a couple years ago.
I'm just assuming this feeling that they're going to have when they just step into that stadium.
And obviously, they're the underdog, back against the wall, they're going to have to go out there.
The question marks around offensive and everything else.
But I just believe in the boys, man.
I believe in CMC, Purdy.
I'm just rooting for the 49ers.
So I'm taking that personal feeling, that emotional feeling, and that's what I'm bringing out to Philadelphia.
Not a lot to hang my hat on.
Right.
But I'm going with the 49ers.
Money line.
I'll take money line.
That's what you took?
You gave a clear point about...
I know.
Trust me.
Because it has...
I know.
Everything is, is like...
I mean, besides, you know, the three teams you said,
like, they're scoring 32.5 points per game.
Brock Purdy, when he got back from injury,
they're the most efficient team on third down.
Like, there's a lot of things you look at and go,
all right, the thing that makes me the most nervous.
Trent Williams, Ricky Pearsall.
Those two guys are on the injury report.
Don't know.
I was actually looking it up while the club was not doing a bad.
And I just, it just was a thing of Shanahan being like, we'll see what happens.
I don't know what's going to happen.
I assume if they can play, they will play.
And if they do play, I'm with you on all that.
The Eagles are the number one team in efficiency in the red zone.
That's another thing that scares me.
There are a better roster than the 49ers.
They're healthier than the 49ers.
Something about that stadium and that NFC championship.
And Brock Purdy having them on their heels and getting injured and having CMC have to run
over the yard play backyard football that taste is in their mouth as much as you know the eagles win
the super bowl the next year there's the expectations are through the roof they're well below
expectations and i just think about that halftime when it's a close game and maybe the 49ers are
even up by you know three points or so the stadium's loud the nerves start to hit where they're
no longer being like hey it's week 14 it's week 13 we can let's figure it out we can get things
going there's not a whole lot of pressure there now the stadium's booing your home team
the pressure sets in if we don't win this game
we're one and done
and we know how loud it gets in Philly
I like the 49ers
I like the 49ers for hope
I like the 49ers the same way
I like the Ole Miss last week
there's a level of hope
and a level of like
there's a get back coming
with the 49ers and the Eagles
and I like George Kittle
and the boys getting it done
and the idea of Fred Warner
taking the field
eventually
if they keep going
Oh yeah they said he post
they were talking about him doing a
Divisional championship
Divis, even next week.
Yeah, next week.
I would love nothing more than see that man come back after a dislocated ankle.
Don't play too many snaps, though.
The safe bet is the Eagles.
Safe bet is the Eagles.
Save bet is the Eagles.
I'll hit the 49ers with the points.
You know what, dude, I'll do money on.
I'll stand in solidarity.
I'm taking the under 46 and a half.
He's going to hit, too.
That's a good pig, honestly.
That's a good one.
Everything y'all said.
Is it 46 and a half?
Is this old?
We might have to change course.
Yeah, everything they said.
I'm going to go under 46.5.
Yeah, it's a good pick.
Yeah.
I'm going to go under 44 and a half.
I got caught up again personal, the emotional field of everything.
I'm looking at it.
Scoring.
Defense, defense, defense, defense.
Both defenses have been playing good right now.
The 49ers has been clamping down every once in a while.
Every once in a while.
I see them coming.
They didn't clamp down against the bears.
They gave up.
No, they didn't clamp down against the bear.
I don't know what the hell that game was.
It was just slug fast.
Look at your fingernails.
Fingerna what it was.
Just go opposite of Quignon Mitchell.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Go opposite of Quigion on Mitchell.
If you go opposite, you'd be all right.
But if Pierceaw and Williams plays,
I felt real good about the 49ers all of a sudden.
I'm still going to take the under, though.
Yeah, yeah, I'm with you in the under.
Yeah.
I've changed everything I just said,
we can literally just wipe it off the face of the earth.
I'm going under with you.
Oh, that's the move.
You're going Eagles?
Minus two and a half?
Yeah.
Yeah, yeah.
He feels good about that.
You can see it.
eyes. I like it. Game of the week. Game of the week. The history. The true classic game of the week.
We have the true classic game of the week right now. You can find true classic at Amazon and
Costco, Sam's Club Target nationwide. You can go online at trueclassic.com forward slash
busting. Look good, feel good, play good. But listen, I got that Pima t-shirt right now.
You notice that little curve? A little curve in that little boy right there. Kind of makes you,
it's like you put it on a classic t-shirt. You look good. And then you have the curve going.
You're like, you know what? Maybe today's going to be a special day. You get a true classic
like that. You don't even need a New Year's resolution.
You really don't. Oh, get Jack
2026.
Hey, it's us, the Jonas Brothers, and guess what? We have some big news.
What's the news, name? Huge news.
We created our own podcast called, Hey Jonas.
We invented a podcast? Well, we didn't invent it. We just contributed to our...
We're the first people to do podcasts.
Pretty, yeah, pretty wide range of podcasts throughout there.
But this one's extra special.
So how do we actually come up with a name Hey Jonas, Jonas, guys?
I honestly don't remember. I think it was on a call about
what we should call it.
Well, we were thinking I'm originally calling it
one of the early names of our band
before Jonas Brothers.
This is how you guys remember it going down?
Yes.
I have a very different memory of this.
We were talking about a thing, a bit for the podcast
where people could call in and say, hey, Jonas.
And then I wrote down on my little notepad,
Hey Jonas, and offered it up as a potential title for the podcast.
But thanks for remembering that, guys.

Where does your group perform?
We do some retirement homes.
Those people are starving for banter.

The French Open is one of the toughest tests in tennis, and I know firsthand because I competed
there myself. I'm Renee Stubbs, and on the Renee Stubbs Tennis podcast, I'm breaking down everything
happening at Roland Garris, every match, every upset, and what it really takes to win on clay.
Gentian win.
I mean, she went down in three to Rabakina, but I'm delighted.
She's an outsider to win the French for me.
And she likes Clay.
Listen, Lernerabakina is arguably the best player in the world right now
and I actually can win on any surface.
Because if she's serving, well, good luck.
Consider this your court side seat to the French Open.

Done matter, I got True Classic having my back.
Let's get into the True Classic Game of the Week.
weekend's got games, but only one fits just right. This is true classics game of the week.
We got the Green Bay Packers and Clay Matthews going out to the Chicago Bears third time this
season. I love it. Packers favored one and a half over under on this game 45 and a half.
The Green Bay legend himself. I love that it's come to this. I love after those first two games
where the Packers win on an interception in the end zone and then an overtime loss to the Bears
that they get a chance to meet up again.
I think this is what both NFL teams wanted.
The Packers and the Bears, I think is what both franchises,
the fans, excuse me, wanted.
And I think this is good for the NFL to speak on behalf of the Packers.
You throw away that Week 17, you know, Minnesota game,
because they rest their starters.
You look back at the Ravens game
and it just leaves you with a terrible taste in your mouth
with what Derek Henry and they were able to do.
But you go back to what Jordan Love was doing
before he got knocked out of that Chicago.
game. Even back to the Denver game. I mean, they were rolling until Christian Watson got
injured. And even Micah, obviously, it deflated, you know, their sales. But getting Jordan Love
back, I believe they get Zach Tom back on their offensive line. They're going to put up points.
I know that. But the defense needs to understand. They were a top five defense last year
without Micah Parsons. They need to buy back into that. I know it's like you brought him in to
get you over the hump, but it needs to get back to that. And they outplayed the bears for the
majority of both those games. It came down to a, you know, a fumbled onside kick, a beautiful
pass by Caleb and a myriad of other things to make it happen. So I don't see why not, why can't
the Packers go and do this? But the real reason why I'm sticking with the Packers, besides my
loyalty and bias is I think the Bears peaked. I think they overachieved. I think they're tired.
If you would have told me or anybody that the Bears would win the NFC
North and be the number two seed, they over, they out, you know, they overachieved.
And so at this point, as opposed to before the season, when the Packers had all the
pressure on them going into the season, now it's like nobody's betting on the Packers to win this game.
I know they're, you know, at minus one and a half right here, but the Bears having a home game,
I think all the pressure is on them.
So I see the Packers going in here and getting it done.
I don't have anything down.
I'd love to hear y'all three as far as, you know, what you're going to take as far as the spread, the money line and whatnot.
But I just think, you know, the Packers are primed to upset the Bears here in their house.
And if there's any rallying cry, it's like I told you, it's that 2010 team that I was a part of to go be some road dogs, go on the road and get it done.
So even if the Packers are limping in, I think they have more than enough talent to get it done.
And I just don't think the Bears, I think they're done.
You know, they achieve more than they set out more.
And then they're just, you know, you saw what happened last week against the Lions.
You said, you know, Dan Campbell and them, but I didn't believe it.
And then I saw the Lions put up 440 yards against them.
They're just toying with the Chicago's defense.
They have their starters out there.
Maybe they were looking forward to the playoffs.
But I think it's over for them.
I think the Packers get it done.
The Packers are going to let everybody know that the Bears still suck.
Yeah, exactly.
Look at that camera and say, tell them that.
What would you like me to tell them?
The bear still suck.
The Packers are going to go in Chicago.
You're not going to tell me what the saying to the camera.
The bear still sucks.
When we come back, next Wednesday, I'm going to come in here.
And they're going to know what's what.
Let them know what's what.
That's just what I was going through that incredible monologue.
I was like, he's going to end this.
There's a lot of notes, but I'm trying to put it all together.
I just feel confident about it.
But I don't know how.
I don't know if it's going to be high school.
scoring affair, low scoring. I just, I see the Packers putting up points.
This is going to be the biggest game of the week for sure. That's why it's true. It's a
game in the week. We made it that. I'm saying in general, it will be. No one's talking about this
game but us, but it's going to be the best. Historically, historically, these two teams are
like known for a rivalry. And they only play what twice in the playoffs before? I want to say.
Yeah, this is like, this made me be the third time, right? So everyone is looking for this
game you saying the bear suck going on national TV getting the letter from
Donald Trump yeah and telling everybody the bear still suck this is a game that
everyone is going to have their eyes on and we're going to get a lot of comments a lot of
comments hey but I need to know what are your thoughts all right I need to know
you get a lot of people are going to watch this game
They're gonna watch this game.
When you sit down and you watch this game.
What do you think?
Are you wearing cheese on your head or a cheese greater on your head?
I mean, I'm already-
Beared down.
I'm already bare down.
So with that being said, we can get him paid.
I'm Daddy Bear.
He baby Bear.
I'm gonna take the Bears plus one and a half.
You know who Daddy Bear is.
Only just because Kevin Byrie came on Bustin with the boys,
shot out, Bustin with the boys.
And talked about the boy now.
So, you know what I mean?
I got it ride with the Bears.
That's all it took?
So you're gonna Bears one and a half or Bears' Money Line?
Bear's Money Line.
All right.
Come?
I gotta roll with my dog.
This is green dot gang.
I will say this.
I agree with that.
I agree with a lot of the sentiment that he's saying.
You look at this matchup,
the hype and the celebrating that the bears have got,
like all the things that they've overcome,
the fourth quarter wins and everything else,
the juice that this place has had.
You also wouldn't even think
that they just lost the last two weeks in a row.
You just feel like they got,
they have a lot of momentum going into the playoffs.
And then you look at the Packers,
the way they kind of ended.
What was their overall record?
Nine, seven and one?
Nine, six, and one?
Nine, seven, and one?
I feel like everybody's sleeping on.
Jordan Love coming back,
not necessarily talking about the Packers,
the idea of Ben Johnson going out there
to shake Lafleur's hand after the game in Chicago.
Chicago's going to be on fire.
And I'm just, I'm getting in the foxhole with my guy,
but I will say,
if the Bears win,
we got to burn our Clay Matthews jerseys.
Damn.
We got to burn them.
I didn't even, I didn't even,
I love to, you know what I'll do?
I'll kind of sneak one to this out.
Thank you.
Thank you.
You gotta burn my jersey?
Yeah.
I'm not even a part of the team anymore.
I'm just a fan.
But you're talking about being biased.
He's talking about Foxhole.
I'm also in Foxhole with you.
So it's like, yeah, this is a put-up or shut-up game for Clay Matthews.
Okay.
As much as you've been out of the league, you're back.
You're right.
Because KB coming on, it's like, I've enjoyed watching the bear season unfold.
I'm like, I don't have, like, skin in the game on who I'm room for to win this game.
I'd love to see it for the city of Chicago.
I'd love to see the Packers to get back in.
the fight and be like, oh, is this going to be a contender now to be the representative for the
NFC? So I'm just putting it all on Claymanities.
Right. But I hate to bust your bubble. They plan in Chicago.
And what do you always tell us? Hey, what do you always tell us about the Packers?
They cannot play away. God. I rest my case.
You'll tell you what the Bears have done, though. You brought the Lions and how they gave over
400 yards of offense. The last three games, they give up over 1,300 yards.
on the office.
The defense has given up 13 yards.
No, they lost two.
And they won.
That Packers game, which was absurd.
Pull back to the bail a little bit.
Let's go back to 2010.
Let's even go back a year earlier, 2009.
The Packers are 30 and 7 against the Bears in that time.
Jordan Love, win healthy.
When he starts a game and finishes a game, he's 4 and 0 against the Bears.
When the Bears were guack.
I'm letting you know.
Guwok.
We have to get flowers like Caleb's 58 yards away from having a 4,000-yard.
Yeah, the Bears have never had that before.
He's clearly going to hit that unless something crazy happens in the beginning of the game.
He's going to hit that, so give him flowers on that, but I see the Packers walking away.
It's over. You can't hit for it.
They don't count playoffs.
They don't.
Oh, it's over.
It's done.
He got to do it again next year.
Yeah.
Yeah.
He's close.
So, fuck that guy, dude.
That sucks.
I know.
I thought you knew that.
Like, after the playoffs shit, it's actually done.
I actually found that out on this show this moment just now.
Yeah.
It sucks, bro.
Well, because then you got playoffs that.
Right.
So now your playoffs stats start.
Yeah.
Yeah, yeah. Damn, that sucks for him.
But I got the Packers.
I got the Packers.
As much as things change, they also stay the same.
And the Packers have owned the Bears for a long time.
I love the back and forth.
I love the story.
I love the rich history rivalry that you just brought up a little bit.
All well said.
I think when it comes down to it,
this is going to be a high-flying game.
This is probably going to be an over game.
But just for the sake of this being the true classic game of the week
that some people may not watch, but a lot of people are going to watch.
I'm going to take the Packers here.
Packers Money Line.
People will go watch this game.
the day Clay Matthews is going to let you know that what the bear still suck that's
fucking right packers money line where y'all taking packers money oh yeah yeah yeah
pack on three pack on me one two three pack good show man it's go we know we got the big dog
better yeah you fucking do bet the boys parlay four touchdown scores oh there day would you
started off.
Can we do, let's say what the total is.
When you hear all four names.
That's going to be plus 2,620.
All right, you put $10.
Big game hunting this weekend, fellas.
You're making $262 and don't forget the seven cents that also come with it.
Listen, I got Christian McCaffrey, 49ers, getting in the end zone.
Delaney?
James Cook, Buffalo Bills versus the Eagles.
Bank.
Don't say yours yet.
Don't say yours yet.
Jaguard.
Hey, let me get Trayvion Henderson to get a touchdown this week.
I love it.
All three are like people who are probably watching that going, okay, yeah, obviously.
Easy.
Drake, Drake, May, May.
Anytime touchdown this weekend it gets the charges.
I like Trayvion Henderson.
I love it.
I love our group chat being like, let's Clay Matthews puts in Hendrickson.
Hey, let's make sure we all do different games.
the next tech you sit text you say
Drake May I'm like fuck it dude
It's over
And wait
Well you did the soldier boy
That's a hell of a parley
And we had a hell of a parley
And we had a
For those who don't know
We did a show last night at Zanis
We didn't
Jared Deemann Biman
Let's give him a round of applause
He had for his question
He was unbelievable
After he finished his set
We took some questions
A couple of people said hey
What's the touchdown score
We told him what it was
Based on our group chat
and then one guy in the corner was like,
they never fucking hit him.
Little does you know.
Statistically, we are way better this year
than we were last year.
So kindly fuck that guy.
Hell of a show, though, right?
Hell of a show.
Yeah.
How do the quarterback situation work, though.
Love cable.
He got to run it in.
That was offhanded compliment.
Frank.
Drake got to run it in.
I thought he could throw it in too.
Duh, that's passing.
That's passing.
So we need the running back in to keep beating.
Yeah, that's crazy.
walk in with the ball.
How many times have he scored a Russian touchdown?
So when he played the bill, when they played the bills, he had, I think, the first two drives.
Trayvion, right?
Oh, you're talking about Drake?
Drake.
Yeah, but Trayvion had that huge, like, 60 or 70 yards.
He'd bring him for over 200 that game or something.
It was a lot.
I'll find it, I'll find it, I'll find it.
Four?
Russian Thetes?
Oh, that's actually good.
That's actually good.
We got a shot.
We got a shot.
The tough part is we need two guys on the same team.
QBN, running back.
Well, that's why you didn't read his message.
Especially when we were a real guy.
I was already locked in.
Oh, okay.
I kind of knew where I was going.
Because right here, it could be easy to throw in an ETN.
Jared's standing up, he's clearly ready for the show to end.
Let's end the show.
We feel good?
Is there anything you want to say before we go?
Jared, we'll get it.
No, no offense to Africa.
Just the whole, the whole.
I'm going to hear, I'm going to be with you.
Conno's my cup of the thing.
Conrad with you.
Not a big part of our demographic is the country.
country. Or the whole fucking deal about that. I mean, I know that. I'm just saying no offense.

Hey, guys, it's us, the Jonas Brothers.
I'm Joe.
I'm Kevin.
And I'm Nick, and guess what?
We created our own podcast called, Hey, Jonas.
We invented a podcast?
Well, we didn't invent it.
We just contributed to it.
We're the first people to do podcasts.
We get to ask other people questions
because we're sick and tired of being asked questions.
Well, sick and tired is a strong way to put it,
but, you know, tired and sick.
Tired and sick.
Listen to Hey Jonas on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts,
or wherever you get your podcast.
Just listen. We don't care where you hear it.
Another podcast from some SNL late-night comedy guy,
not quite.
Unhumor me with Robert Smigel and Friends.
Me and hilarious guests from Bob Odenkirk to David Letterman
help make you funnier.
This week, my guest, SNL's Mikey Day and head writer,
reader Seidel, help an a cappella band with their between songs banter.
Where does your group perform?
We do some retirement homes.
Those people are starving for banter.
Listen to humor me with Robert Smigel and Friends on the I-Heart Radio app, Apple Podcasts,
