Bussin' With The Boys - Noah Gragson & Chase Briscoe On Stewart-Haas Racing Shutting Down & Finding A New Team
Episode Date: June 11, 2026Recorded: June 9th 2026 | Welcome back to another episode of Racin’ With The Boys. We are joined this week by two buddies who have long history together, Noah Gragson and Chase Briscoe. The guys... start off the show talking about pre-race superstitions, which one of them, is pretty out there. Noah and Chase get into how their friendship started and what it was like racing together at Stewart-Haas Racing. For Chase, Tony Stewart was his favorite driver growing up. He talks about how cool it was being able to race for his idol and they both get into what it was like searching for a new ride when the team shut down. Each of the guys talk about how they got into racing and Chase’s story of how he got a ride is a crazy story. Noah and Chase also say how they think NASCAR should allow fighting again back in the sport and how it brings more viewership. Chase and Noah get into what their pre-race anxiety is like and what the pressure is like week in and week out. Chase drives for Joe Gibbs Racing and when he first joined the team he thought if he didn’t win, he would lose his job. Both of the guys stared in NASCAR’s mini movie “NASCAR vs. Navy: The San Diego Mini Movie”. They talk about how cool of an experience that was and who is the better actor between the two of them. The boys end the show talking about having to go to the bathroom during the race and each have crazy stories about what it’s like. All in all, this is a fun listen and really shows the guys personalities throughout. round of applause for three episodes of racing with the boys we've made it all right
Absolutely incredible.
Three for a day.
Our two guests today.
Chase Briscoe and Noah Gregson.
Am I saying that correctly?
Gregson, what are you doing?
How do you like to pronounce it?
I say it Gregson.
That's the way my family has always told me to say it,
but you can call it whatever you want.
I love it.
Greg, Greg too close to gag.
That is true.
Chill on that.
Hey, well, hold on.
Yeah, I mean.
That probably was a middle school thing for you a little bit, huh?
A little bit, yeah.
A little bit, yeah.
Yeah, a little bit.
But.
Make him Greg.
They never hit me that, but.
That's just where we're very creative
Yeah, there's some different stuff
They call me
Yeah, we're extremely creative like what?
What do they call you?
What did they say, dude?
Nah, just nothing appropriate for the show.
Are you guys can't talk about it?
Guys can't have a little fun?
Well, if you can figure it out, then maybe, you know.
Yeah.
Oh, my brain doesn't work on.
Those are my shoes?
This is actually a gift.
I got these for you.
Do you like these are pickle crocks?
I thought you might want to.
Yeah, get them.
Those are nice shoes too.
Get them dog.
But if you want those are for you, dude.
These are my Grilloos Pickles.
New Grillus Pickle Shoes
No, I was watching
Obviously we're all gonna have a good time today
Yeah, leave your right sock on
I'm curious how these two are just boys
You know exactly how they're boys
Yeah, yeah yeah yeah
You gotta go a million miles on
And then it just keeps it calm
It's like protons and neutrons
Yeah, we're like Penn and Teller
He does all the talking and I just kind of sit here
Let it hang out of a bit huh?
Do you guys do that with your crazy superstitions?
It's crazy superstitions?
Crazy superstitions.
superstitions, like playing when we were playing?
Nothing crazy. Like, is there anything like, nothing crazy? Like only football guys would know.
Like race car drivers, they all typically, like, before race day, they're only sleep with their
right sock on to keep their, like, gas pedal foot warm. Is that real? Yeah, yeah. You guys
do that? Do that? Well, that's why I don't, like, it's like. I take an athlete's foot.
You got let them boys breathe a little bit, right? Well, my left foot, I never get athletes' foot on,
but I always keep a sock on my right foot. Always. Just to keep the gas pedal warm. Yeah.
You're at the beach. You go hang out for a little bit. You got a sock.
on your flip flops
sock on my right foot flip flops
So I'm on my right foot really
But like road courses are coming up
So you're wearing two socks
Because you'll be using
You move around a little bit
Okay that makes sense
I mean you have any superstitions
This is the sock thing
Been doing that all my life
Since the beginning
When did you learn about the sock thing
You're like okay I'm gonna do that
Well I guess really once I got the NASCAR
It was like you know the veteran guys are like
Hey if you're not doing this
You probably should Tony
Tony probably told you
Yeah Tony told me when I was younger
That's your boy huh
Yeah he was both used to drive for Tony
Yeah you guys were teammates
doing that huh
Was it Stuart Haas?
Yeah.
Stuart Haas.
RIP to Stuart Haas.
I know.
It was like just a couple years ago it went away.
Yeah,
2024.
How sad was that?
Like,
how did you get the call
that Stuart Haas was no longer?
We were like in a conference room
about the same size of the bus here
and Tony came in and was like,
hey,
uh,
you know,
there's been a lot of rumors going around.
But,
um,
we're going to let you guys know that we're shutting down at the end of the
year.
And it was like a total,
like we'd heard rumors,
I guess about it.
Yeah.
But right then it was like,
it got pretty real,
pretty quick.
You can hear a pin drop and you're like, oh shit, like this is real.
What goes through your guys is mine when you guys hear that?
Like clearly it's like, is my job secure?
What's next?
Yeah.
Immediately you're focused on what's next.
And then it's really distracting for the rest of the year.
I mean, that was right before, that was maybe middle of May when he told us, June.
Yeah, June.
And it was very distracting because the whole rest of the year, you're still trying to go to the racetrack and race.
But at the same time, everybody's looking for jobs on your team.
And so their minds aren't really in the right spot.
As drivers, we're looking for what our next opportunity is going to be.
So it was pretty distracting for the rest of the year.
Yeah.
How did the rest of the year go for y'all after you heard the news?
He won.
Yeah, I won one of the races.
It was just a weird year because, like, so the race I won was the last race before the playoffs.
So that, like, you know, elevated us into the playoffs where if we didn't win that race,
there was not a single car at Stewart Haas that was going to be in the playoffs.
So we were going to lose, I felt like half the employees.
Like, they were all going to just start leaving, you know, there's no incentive to stay.
Yeah.
And so it was kind of weird because.
With us being the only car in the playoffs, the whole company kind of like came around our car.
And so we were really the main focus in the final 10 weeks, which is a weird just environment
to be in, like in a four car team to be the one guy that all 300% employees are like rally.
Yeah.
It was just a weird environment.
Now, how's your guys as recruiting going?
Like in that final year racing?
Like you're obviously, you're on the same team.
The team's going to end.
So I'm assuming you guys are taking calls from whoever to see who you might be going to next.
Yeah.
So like for me, when we were in that conference room, Tony at the end was like, hey, so if you guys have any question, I'd be happy to answer them. And we're all under contract, right? So at that point, we weren't able to talk to any other teams. And I just asked him. I was like, what's this mean for us talking to other people? And he's like, you guys are free to talk to whoever. So I literally in that in that conference room, I started texting all these like team presidents I knew and texted Joe Gibbs is like president. And then I went to a breakfast with him the next day and then was signed six days later. So yeah, it all had quick. Yeah, you had no, the body wasn't even cold.
No, yeah, it was a unique thing because there was going to be four drivers now, right,
that were all of a sudden looking for jobs.
There's only 36 cars out there.
So you didn't want to be the last kind of guy out.
And, yeah.
And luckily, all four of us found opportunity.
Yeah, we all four found stuff.
Different spots.
But that's a hard part about NASCAR.
I'm sure about, like football, too, is it's one guy out, one guy in.
You know, there's only so many positions and spots available that we're lucky.
All four of us got an opportunity.
Yeah, there's only so many.
53 guys on each football team and you're like you're just hoping to be one of them every single year.
For us, it's 36. Which is nuts. How, uh, how fast did you figure out your next situation?
Yeah, yeah, was your next year. Mine was about a month. I had a couple of different things in the works
and then ultimately landed with front row motorsports to drive the four car. So, um, yeah,
it's been, it's been pretty fun last couple years and now, now, were you connected to,
like Chase over here was connected to team presidents. Like, do you, are you knowing team president?
at the time. Yeah, I was talking to a couple
of different, I guess,
owners, but ultimately
landed and settled with
it just, there's a lot of moving pieces
when you get to that position.
And so, um, had some different talks
with some different teams and ultimately the best
opportunity for me was front row.
Yeah. Damn, from teammates to
opponents. Yeah, because like, yeah, we're still
good buddies. Yeah. Are you though?
Yeah. I hate this guy.
It paid me.
It did not start that.
We hate each other to start.
Yeah, we did.
I didn't hate him.
He hated me.
I hated it.
How old were you two when you first laid eyes on each other?
It would have been 2017.
So I don't know how old.
Chase was like 30 hours only like 18.
Yeah, he was like 18 hours old.
You looked at this young bug and you're like, I don't know something about this kid.
It was literally.
It was our first truck race, which is like kind of like single A right at the NASCAR level.
And we're Daytona lap one.
I absolutely reckon.
Like, I mean destroy him.
And then so that's like our first time ever made.
eating each other. First time I ever racing against each other. Lap one, I wreck him. We go to
Martinsville the next week, and it's like, I don't know, 50 laps in. I wreck him again. And so he's like,
fuck this guy. Yeah. Yeah. I didn't know who this Chase Briscoe was. And I hated him. And then
Chase Briscoe is also, I think we were racing against each other in Expinini a little bit and kind of
talked and we bullshit every once in a while and then became really good friends the last couple
of years. So it's been, it's been good. So you just hated him because he would wreck you?
Yeah, I recommend.
I just remember he came down
after the second time
erected me, so that's two.
None of these.
You're getting it back.
Third time.
I'm 20.
Jamie, Paul, Jamie, pull this up.
It's, um,
it's, uh,
no Gregson,
uh,
2017,
Daytona.
Thanks, Jamie.
Uh,
scroll down.
Uh,
maybe scroll down.
Keep going.
She's a bunch of win highlights
from Ximinity.
Sorry.
Yeah.
This is the lap.
That was me and Christopher Bell.
Friends with him now, too.
Hey, yeah, I want to let you know.
I was watching a little film on you.
I was watching a little film on you.
Do you mind if I give you a couple pointers?
Sure.
On your career.
Sure.
If you're going to walk up on somebody and get on me and put your arm.
You get fine, first of all.
So you got to eat one and you go to town.
The only problem is when you're, when you go to town,
you can't have the security guard
that's going to grab your arm
and keep fighting
you have one ready to go
you had one ready to
like Super Smash Bros.
Powered up.
A peekie blinders is in full force
of that hair cut right now
I had a bet a couple weeks before
pause that Jamie, please
I had a bet that
I would get a bull cut
with Austin Dillon for 100 bucks
so I meant 100 bucks
and this was a couple weeks later
my barber couldn't get me in
She was just having a full week, you know, so she couldn't get me in.
So I had this shitty haircut and then went up to him, grabbed them.
And in NASCAR, they'll find you a few fights.
So I had to eat one.
And then I was going to go to town on it.
I was going to get him too.
Okay, getting good by the chest.
Boom!
And he kind of tapped you right there.
Yeah, but Noah ate him.
I'll eat it.
I'll eat one.
I don't have a problem to eat one.
And this guy in the yellow shirt, he kind of fucks every.
everything up for you. Yeah. He comes out of nowhere too in just a second. There he is.
There is. Hold on now, fellas. Hold on now. Bank.
Stan got him. Yeah, he's got that arm. I was a stand guy. I was going to throw a haymaker.
What is the fine in NASCAR if you swing? Ricky Stanhouse got in a fight with Kyle Bush,
RP, and it was 75 grand. Did you get fin for this? No. He did though. No, he didn't either.
Oh, so I'll spare up more. He hit me. So basically you just have to have somebody.
he's got to be rolls reversed
you know
there's really no clear picture
on what's allowed
that's the problem
there's no line in the sand
so
so if you were to do that over again
you said you guys are boys now
if I were to do it over again
you'd get a haircut
I didn't say I get a haircut
terrible highlight
looking like Lloyd Christmas
getting punched dude
who is there uh Ross
yeah Ross
you guys are boys now
I mean we we went to the dirt track
and tested a micro sprint car
the next day
and I was like hey nice shot
but just let you know
if that's standing
grab my arm. I was coming. I wasn't going to stop going to hammerdown with you. What did he say to that?
He's like, yeah. I mean, I don't remember exactly what he said, but he was like, yeah, I'm no hard
feeling. It's all good. The best was the whole field was like coming up and. Yeah, they're all dab me up.
They're like, someone's got to do it. There was Hosevar prior to Hosevar. Yeah. Gotcha. Yeah,
that makes. So who's going to be the first one to swing on Hosevar? Um, probably.
Sounds like it's got to be you.
I don't have I haven't had a problem with Hosevar on the track but who would be the first one to swing on Hosebar
Bubba I'm gonna Bubba was pretty mad last week
Yeah, he was really he was driving like a madman last week in Michigan yeah well I can see
Bubba made throwing hands yeah I don't know we gotta wait and see that's why you guys got
tune in an ass car baby every yeah you know it's interesting dude so we've done three episodes
hosa bars come up every single time every time this man's name gets pulled up guys
start to get a little more.
Oh, you know, he's just a little fast, but he's a little aggressive.
But everyone kind of like puckers up a little bit.
I know.
He's a little nervous.
This is 77, Carson Hosebar.
They don't pucker up.
We're good.
I'm chill with pretty much everybody out there, except for a couple of other drivers.
But for the most part, I was only 36.
Only 36 of them boys ripping around.
He'd kind of be like, what?
Was it Richard Sherman that would always just be chirping at everybody and like.
Yes, Sherman.
He was one of those guys.
There's a lot.
Taylor got in Sherman, Richard Sherman's face.
Yeah, we got into it a couple of times.
but he's a DB
DPs are always talking
There's defensive linemen
Offensive linemen don't really
This is yeah this is what 2017
And that Sherman taking a shout at our quarterback
Marcus Marriota
Yeah, Oregon shout out
Look at that's that's me
I'm the heavyset
Individual right there
You gotta protect your boys
You know
You gotta protect your boys
If anything this is your guys's pick crew
Should be doing this
They used to
And then they get suspended now
What's going on with that?
We got to let the governor off a little bit.
Thank you.
Let's go away.
It's trash.
It's trash.
I mean,
there's no line on sand,
but it's entertaining.
They'll use it for a promo.
Yeah.
All these things.
You should think college football.
You know,
there's Michigan puts the flag.
It's the 50 yard line.
And they're like,
there's no place for that in football.
But then the next year plays,
and they're like,
look at the rivalry between these two.
Come watch this game.
It should be like hockey.
What's that?
It should be like hockey.
Let them.
I was just going to bring up.
Obviously, you were in the golden nice jersey.
Yeah, baby, let's go.
Right now.
Vegas boy.
But in hockey, like your captain,
which is called the driver, the captain.
If someone messes with the captain,
the boy is a defenseman,
the way everybody kind of gets in it,
gets a scrum.
I'm thinking, if, let's just say,
you crash each other,
you guys' just pick crews got to go after it.
That'd be pretty soon.
You just get to put one guy up
in the center of the...
The last time that happened,
pull up Jeff Gordon-Keslowski fight.
It was like 30 people.
Yeah, that's what you want to.
I mean,
We don't want to see that family show.
We don't want to see that.
We just hope nobody gets injured.
Brad Ken's last.
We just hope nobody gets injured.
But we are about entertainment.
But we want some entertainment.
We want some entertainment.
That's all.
How was, um...
Just look up Brad Kaye fight.
Yeah, there we go.
That's it.
This is it right here?
Yeah, this is a good fight.
That's probably the best fight in NASCAR history, maybe.
Everybody's kind of...
Yeah, there's a picture over there already getting after it.
But like the great clips guys are there, like, uh,
Harvick's over there watch Harvick isn't behind him behind Brad he pushes on watch left side of
screen Harvick pushes them into Jeff Gordon and then they just all start going to town
Ready?
Right here he pushes him
Oh yeah that's like a pack of dogs man
They don't throw any fights now I don't see any pit crew guys here okay I'm sorry yeah they're in the back there getting after it
Give me some context to why this fight went down do you guys know you just like watching the high
It was like a three wide restart in the playoffs.
And Brad, this is like kind of before it was kind of everybody was just all out.
There's more like give and take and respect back in this day.
And Brad was like the new guard of guys like not doing that and put it three wide on a restart.
And it made Jeff Matt, I guess.
And then just tired out, less side tire.
Yeah.
And knocked him out.
Knocked him out.
Jeff's move though there.
Just kind of the slow push just to.
Well, Harvick pushes them.
Oh, yeah.
Harvich instigates it.
And then Jeff gets him by the call.
Yeah, Harvick's almost doing it just like a bait on the team.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
He's, oh, they're trying to go after you.
And I think Brad gets up all bloody.
He's, like, got blood running all down his face.
Kind of badass, dude.
Now this is, so this is an old, the old guard and the new guard having their exchanges,
things are transitioning in the NASCAR world this time.
Is that my understanding that correctly?
Yeah.
Yeah.
This is like four different teams fighting, too.
Like half of it's not even their teams.
It's just a full-on brawl.
Something will just want to get into it, you know?
What year is this?
2014,
yeah,
2014, good year.
Oh, over a day.
Where is the,
where's the culture of NASCAR now
as it pertains to this?
Like,
the new guy that's,
you hear about that?
I think it's kind of going back
to,
to get into more like
scrapping and stuff.
Yeah.
That too, yeah.
Back in the day,
they used to say,
boys have at it.
And it was kind of,
gloves are off.
Everybody, like,
it was for entertainment.
And if you fought,
you fought, you fought,
and NASCAR didn't really do anything.
Then the last maybe,
five, ten years, they start fighting guys.
I think now it's kind of taking a turn to get back to where it was and get that
entertainment part back in it.
Yeah, get the entertainment going in there.
Now, does that mentally change the thought process when you guys are driving against each
other?
Like, if it's a boys have at it, are you guys being a little more aggressive in the turns
coming in and letting the guy know?
There's like an unwritten, like, gentlemen's agreement, like, that we all kind of race
with and if you're going to race somebody like an asshole, they're going to race you like
an asshole and you're going to pay for it later in life.
and I think a lot of guys,
I mean, you guys talk about Hosevar and like say,
oh, guys get all puckered up, they're scared of them,
but they're just going to cash in when he's,
you know, I know you won a race this year,
but when he's actually like leading a race,
they can make his life pretty miserable.
Yeah, it comes back full circle.
You know, it does come back full circle.
Like, if you're like a prick to race with,
like say you're really good to race with, right,
and you're leading the race and you're having a great day
and you come up to lap guys.
Like, say you're lapping me or no and you've been always cool with us,
like, we're just give you extra room,
kind of get out of the way,
not our day, but if you've been a prick to us, like, when you come around to Lappas,
like, we can make your life miserable to where, like, second, third place catches you.
Stay, yeah, stay in the way, play defense from the back.
Exactly.
Like, we can.
All the last place just slows it down a little.
Yeah.
And here comes second place passing them and wins the race, you know.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Or if, like, somebody hates, like, running down the leader, they're running second and they're
lapping you, you can block them and.
Let one tail off.
Have either of you ever been in the first?
situation as the pack leader or the guy in the back that it wasn't your day and you're like you know
what dude fuck this guy about every weekend baby let's go every weekend hear about it uh yeah more times
than not this year we've been uh kind of more towards the back unfortunately yeah where you do you guys
individually who do you feel like your guys's biggest rival is uh for me it's probably honestly
my teammates like not like a rivalry but like normally i'm racing my teammates for the wind so like
Nashville, there was three of us from Joe Gibbs racing all battling for the win.
So like, I don't know, they just keep raising the bar, right?
So you're always racing against your teammate typically to win.
So like I get along with them.
They're not necessarily my rival, but it is almost my rival in a sense if I'm going to win
the race, I don't have to beat my team.
To the right, please, Jamie.
Right there, right there.
Right there.
Thank you.
That was my AI days.
How do you feel about that photo?
Yeah, I posted it.
So everybody always makes fun of me because I have terrible hair.
I've been bald since I'm in high school.
Hell yeah.
So that's high testosterone.
That's all that is.
Yeah, so they all always give me a hard time.
Yeah, high T levels, baby.
Let's roll.
So for a production day this year.
I got a full head.
You and me got low T.
Yeah, we got low T.
Yeah, so I did chat GBT and gave the fans.
I thought what they wanted.
And I was just testing the waters a little bit.
How do you feel when you look at that focus?
My head's not that shape, though.
It's not?
No.
So we get a peek at the line or we don't know.
It's bad, dude.
Oh, yeah.
You got to let it go.
You got to let that fly.
That's right.
You had to grease that over to the side and put some like real pearly glasses on.
It's bad.
Rocked that a couple of times.
But your hat 24-7.
Yeah, even at home, I'm wearing a hat.
You lay in bed.
I'm like the white.
You keep going, all right, good night, man.
Chas got the vibe.
You just hit the little comb over.
You get a couple specs on.
Like the little checkered collared shirt.
You just look like somebody's grandpa immediately.
Hell yeah.
I think that's kind of the move, dude.
I might have to do it.
I don't have much hair left even to comb over is the problem.
But that's the win right there.
Get the side real long, like this long and then flop it over.
Because the cul-de-sac is kind of a badass move.
It is sick.
A little skullet.
Yeah.
A little skull-in.
You got your emoji on the iPhone?
Oh, yeah, I would.
Yeah.
Yeah.
A little on.
Dude, this week, Pocono.
Yeah.
All right?
You could be the ninth racer ever to Pocono Pete.
Oh, really?
How do you feel about that?
That'd be cool.
Yeah.
It'd be nice.
I didn't realize that few of people, I guess, have done it.
So, yeah, I don't know, that'd be pretty cool.
I love going to be pretty cool.
I love going to be pretty cool.
I love going to Pocono.
I wouldn't say it's my favorite racetrack,
but it's just a unique track.
The only track that we go to
that's like a triangle, obviously.
It just creates this weird challenge
because your car's going to drive
like absolute crap in one of the corners
because they're all three totally different.
So I've always liked that as a driver, I guess,
the challenge of that.
What about the tricky triangle is so difficult?
Because can we just tell us something real quick?
They say NASCAR's four turns.
It's really two big turns, right?
Yeah, yeah.
It's really too big turn.
Yeah.
Coming out of turn one and two different.
It's like, that's one.
Yeah.
And then you're on the other one.
So this one's like, the triangle.
What's the hardest one?
That peak or that right boy or that left boy when I'm looking at the screen.
Can you pull up the tricky triangle for me there?
Jamie, pull that up.
Jamie?
It really depends like I was saying, your car.
Like it's normally going to drive really good in one of the corners.
Right.
And then the next corner might drive okay.
And then one of them is going to be terrible.
Terrible.
So it really just depends.
The turn two is the sketches, though.
So it's like the top of the triangle.
I like the top of the triangle.
You like the top.
turn two. I like the top. Yeah, it's like... So they're all based after like turns at other racetracks.
So turn two is after Indianapolis. Okay. But it's really, really bumpy. So it's like timing on when you turn into the corner and like, you're using a lot of throttle through there. It's, uh, it's pretty fun. Turn one's okay. Turn one's okay. Turn three is okay. What's your favorite?
turn two is probably the most fun because it's the most like risk versus reward like if you're willing to like hang it out you can gain a ton of time through turn two which that part i like turn three though
when you say hanging out you're just saying like hey a foot to the floor let's see what you're going to crash you're normally going to crash and turn to you yeah okay all right and then guys are you how long does it take you guys to realize what kind of car you're going to have that day i believe uh two one lap yeah one or two laps in practice then you know hey this is what we're dealing with today um willie b yeah willie b we're
talking about 10 laps, right?
He said he takes about 10 laps to kind of get into the ground.
Yeah, but we're quick processors.
That's why we get along because we process super quickly.
Yeah, yeah, super fast guys.
Like little computers in those hands on those.
Dude, you can land a 747 on the first stretch of Pocono, by the way.
It's the longest straightway.
Really?
It's unbelievable.
How fast are we getting there on that straight?
Oh, really?
Yeah, it's long.
When you guys are getting into racing, like I know, I know you started at 13, very unique.
Yeah, I was late.
Late to the game a little bit.
11.
I raced twice when I was seven.
but really 11.
Okay.
So when do you guys usually start?
Most guys are like five years old.
No way, racing.
Just racing.
The whole car entire life.
Yeah.
And let's, we got to get a little car track with these boys.
A lot of these guys who race against like, maybe not a lot of them, but some of them,
Chase, Elliot, Ryan Blaney, Todd Gillen, guys like that, they grew up sitting at the dinner
table every night with a guy who, their father, who raced in the Cup series and could give
advice and everything, we kind of just kind of had to figure it out for ourselves and trial and
error and figuring stuff out. How do you even start to figure it out? Like obviously you race a couple
times when you're seven, but when you're getting into the game at third. You mess up and then you're
like, don't do that again. Were you doing any type of racing before 13? No, I was like playing
sticking ball sports. What got you in a racing? Army Navy Academy, offensive player of the year,
just saying for football. So, had a full ride to go kick field goals too. Yeah. I'm like, I'm like
a little leg on you?
You can kicker?
Can you look up a field goal kicking?
No Gregson.
At the Titan Stadium.
Oh, no way.
Bare foot.
How far?
Uh, forty, forty three yards.
That's a good.
Fair foot into the wind?
Barefoot into the wind?
Yeah.
Not both ways.
No actually.
On YouTube.
Man, we gotta work on that.
We gotta work on your searching.
So no, what got what like got you in the racing at 13?
Like what piqued your interest with, you know, this could be a future of mine?
I just, I enjoyed the competition.
I like dirt bikes, mountain bikes, snowboarding, skateboard, escape,
all the action sports, X-game stuff growing up,
and then had the opportunity to go out to the racetrack when I was 13 years old.
And it was actually a Wednesday of my seventh grade spring break.
And a guy who worked with my dad, his kids raced, and they started talking.
And my dad was like, hey, if you want to go out to the track and test on this Wednesday,
Friday, Saturday, the season starts.
If you like it on Wednesday, we'll go out there and race on Saturday.
And before we even got to the track, I kind of knew I was going to race on Friday and Saturday
because I knew I wanted to do it so bad.
So I didn't even have to drive the car around.
And after the first couple laps, I had a smile super big on my face.
And the rest has kind of been history.
You found it?
That's awesome.
Yeah, cowboy hat on, barefoot.
I had both socks on.
I should have just kept my red sock on.
We got a leg on you?
That's not bad, dude.
That's first time.
That's my first time ever kicking.
You were lying.
I swear my life.
Yeah, I was messing.
Yeah.
He didn't have a full, yeah.
He just got into it.
He was really good.
That's awesome.
Sneaky athlete.
Sneaky athlete.
Growing up in Vegas.
Someone's got to do it.
You go on your seventh grade.
Yeah.
Red Rock, I got a little quick, a little quick, this or that.
Okay.
Red Rock or Durango.
Where are we going?
Red Rock.
Bacrod or Blackjack?
Baccarot.
Dana or Aiden.
Who do you like to play?
Big Dana.
Yeah.
Have you, so obviously,
Vegas guy. What's your spot? Same thing.
I'm a Durango guy now. I mean, I like Red Rock too. We used to go to Red Rock, but they just
spelled Durango. So we go to Durango now. Yeah, it's all station casinos. The hospitality second to none.
They are incredible. If you need anything, I'll be walking by in a hallway and a butler will just
come out of nowhere and have like a can of Lucy's just waiting for me, nicotine.
That's the best.
They have a cold tub in the room. Anything you want, however you want it, it is the best. You
Bokrata, a blackjack guy.
I used to be Blackjack
But a huge Baccarot guy now
I love Baccarat
When I first met Dana
He was only into Blackjack
And then about a year into playing with him
He kept bringing up Baccarat
And he's like something about this game
It's so interesting
He would just go to Caesars
And watch all the Asian cats
In the high roller rooms play
Over and over and over again
And then one time I showed up
And he's like we're on this now
And I'm kind of nervous
I'm really starting to understand Blackjack
I'm getting the reps in
I know all the stuff
We go to Baccarat and I'm like, oh, this is the actual game.
If you're actually trying to win some of it.
What's the highest hand you've ever played in the-Barras?
Because Baccarat too is like the best odds in the house, right?
Yeah, it's close to 50-50.
It's like 49-5 is your best odds.
What's the most amount of money you put down on one hand?
$45,000.
Dang.
That's like half a bus payment to get this thing running.
That is, that's half a bus payment.
Yeah.
And if you would have got it, the max.
The bus running.
Did you win?
Oh, yeah.
Yeah, it could have paid.
Come on.
Let's get the bus running, baby.
Let's get the boss running.
We got a whole vlog series on that.
Dude, you got to check it out.
But we, like at Red Rock, Dana, his max is $100,000 per hand.
Per hand.
And then at Caesars in all MGM areas, it's 400.
400?
That's big swings.
Dude, big swings.
Just recently, the Sahara and.
It's all units tell you cash out, though.
They're all chips.
That's how you got to look at it.
You can't be like, oh, this is a lot of money.
You have to think, I'm up one unit.
I'm down 17 units.
And then once you cash out, though you cash out, they're all you.
you like, oh, fuck, I'm dead.
But Sahara and Parking GM.
So what's a strat?
What's the strat you guys go with?
Dude, truly, it's just,
you just sit there and whatever Dana wants to do.
He's against the run.
You're against it?
You don't like a good long.
I go with it.
I do.
I do.
I'll do free hands until I get three in a row of player or a banker,
and then I'll bet the opposite.
It's like flipping a coin.
If you get three tails in a row, you're going to eventually he's got to turn to heads, right?
Yeah, yeah, red, blue.
Player, banker.
Because it's 50, 50, but it's a lot.
So you just put it down.
The only time you get screwed is you double, double, double, double, double.
You got to have a big bankroll so you can't really start too high.
Yeah, the game, the game is really like if you can bet as much money as you feel comfortable with and you win two hands, you got to get you.
It's all about little hits.
Yeah.
Like if you're going to sit down there for hours at a time, like just reduce your bed dramatically.
Hang out.
Have your drinks if you want to have your drinks.
And then just relax.
Literally flipping a coin.
Right.
Like it's heads or tails.
Dude.
There's a method out.
There's a, I forget what the method's called,
but this gentleman was like basically,
do you fill out X's and everything,
with the hard of funds.
I don't do that.
You wanna go in whatever your number is.
You just wanna max it as fast as possible.
If you win, you just walk out.
Have to.
You never wanna stay there.
Times on their side.
Time's on their side.
So the longer you're there.
Yeah.
Dude, I've been at the table with Dana for 12 hours before.
Like, start at 9 p.m., nine a m rolls around.
He's like, I gotta go to a meeting.
I'm like, oh shit.
He's gonna see you this after.
You gotta run your company.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
You have to, you have a,
Are you good, man?
But dude, so the Sahara and the Park MGM both allowed Dana.
It was a one time only.
Yeah, yeah.
Aidan's awesome, dude.
Aidan's the man.
Allowed him to gamble $1 million on a hand.
Who did?
Dana.
At Sahara and Park MGM, just one hand said you can do a $1 million.
He's done it twice.
He's always wanted to do, right?
Yeah.
He's done it twice.
He's done it twice.
He really?
Yeah.
That's crazy.
How crazy is that?
He had won two.
The problem of you win that, then he's going to be trying to talk him in to do him more.
They probably want him to do more so he can take it back from him.
You'll see him once in a while and he'll tell you the number he's up and it's crazy.
Just crazy.
How often do you guys go to Vegas?
I try to get, I'm trying to be there right now.
Yeah, me too.
We need to intercept him.
He's asked three or four questions in a row.
Oh, yeah, yeah, absolutely.
He's interviewing the boys.
Just get back on track.
We need to pick that off.
A little game when he starts getting talked up.
I start losing myself.
That's my back.
Go ahead, Willie.
What you got?
What you got?
Oh, hell, I don't even know.
Oh, move it to Chase one quick.
Yeah.
On, explain the getting into, because Bubba was on the other week.
And he got into racing.
He's talking about how he had to, like, save $250,000.
He got in, he kind of cut his teeth through, like, a diversity program.
And it does seem fascinating.
You mentioned earlier, some of these cats are sitting there at the dinner table with their old man who was a racer.
So I'm sure there's an easier path that they love racing.
And they understand the game of getting in racing.
No fault of theirs.
but I am personally fascinated with some of your guys' stories.
Like yours in particular,
it talks about you scraping money together and sleeping on couches
so you could have enough to keep the dream alive.
Like how much money do you guys need if there's like young drivers out there
to compete if they want to be a professional one day?
Yeah.
In your early years.
Yeah.
So it really,
that's the hard part about NASCAR.
It's not like the NFL or NBA or MLB where if you're the best,
whatever sport it is,
you're going to make it right.
NASCAR, a lot of it is pay to play to start.
and like I had no money.
So what I did, I graduated high school, moved to Charlotte.
So Charlotte's essentially like what Nashville is for country music.
And yeah, I just slept on a couch for three and a half years.
I'd give my buddy that had a place that I was able to stay at like 50 bucks here and there.
And I just volunteered all these different race shops.
I would go from shop to shop and just say, hey, look, I'm a driver.
I eventually want to try to drive.
You guys get an open opportunity.
I would love to be that guy.
And I would just sweep the floor, whatever they wanted me to do.
And I've been down there for three and a half years and didn't have anything.
And so literally it was moving back.
I'd half my stuff with me.
And I remember calling my mom.
I was somewhere in Kentucky and called her and like was bawling my eyes out about how I was
moving home.
I was over it.
And an hour later, I got a call from a team and it was like, hey, we've heard your
name from a couple different people.
We're going to have this car that's going to test.
Would you have any interest in driving it?
And so yeah, I was like, absolutely.
So I went into that test.
And the owner of this team, his name is Brooks Cunningham.
He's this 87 year old, multi-millionaire, just had a ton of money and
and had a race team.
And he heard my story and thought it was cool that I was volunteering my time.
And so he funded me to go race for him.
And we won the championship that next year.
And then I got signed by Ford and went through kind of the development series of running trucks and the X-Finity series.
And then went to obviously go drive at Stuart Haas.
And without Briggs Cunningham in 2016, I guess, paying for me to go run basically what ARCA is,
which would be like junior college.
I would have never been sitting here now.
So, yeah, it's crazy.
Dude, that is fucking awesome.
Yeah, it's a pretty wild.
It's a good story.
Yeah, that's a hell of the story.
All your way in Kentucky.
And even you're experiencing the breaking point in real time,
like it's been fucking three and a half years.
Like, you've wanted to do this so badly.
And you just haven't caught a break yet to where you're driving home,
like in tears on the phone.
I mean, it was literally an hour after, yeah.
It was pretty wild how it all worked out.
Yeah, low-key, that, like, gives me goosebumps.
That is badass.
Yeah, it's pretty wild.
What did you feel more pressure in when that guy funded you to start racing,
to actually give you an opportunity or when you join Joe Fix.
The second one, number 21.
Because I saw something about you telling your wife about the immense pressure that took place when you joined.
Yeah.
Joe Gibbs and your pressure to win.
For me, it was definitely more when I was driving for coach.
You know, with Briggs, I remember when I went and met with him for the first time, he was like,
so what do you want to do next year?
I said, well, I'd love to, he'd own a team for 20-something years and never won championship.
And I was like, I would love to try to win you a championship.
But truthfully, if you race me in 10 races, 5, 1.
Even if you don't race me at all, I just can't thank you.
You're not for letting me do what I did.
So there was really never an expectation with Briggs.
Like we just, he was letting me go race.
And if we won grade, if not, no big deal.
Where with coach, when you went and you go drive for Joe Gibbs racing, it's like, you know,
playing for the Yankees or the Dodgers, like you're expected to go win.
And so that pressure was way more just because the environment that you're in, all your
teammates are winning and are winning championships.
So I felt like when I went to drive at Joe Gibbs, if I didn't perform, then I was out.
because if you can't go win at Joe Gibbs racing,
why would any other team ever hire you to drive their car?
Because you can't win in the best,
why would we put you in ours?
So yeah,
I thought the pressure was way bigger
when I went to Joe Gibbs Racing.
This is for both of you,
but when did you guys first have that,
like, oh, I've actually made it moment.
I haven't had that.
I feel like you're never safe.
Like, I mean, we get to do cool stuff and like
fly around and come here.
You know, there's different stuff.
different perks of it, but I never feel like I've ever made it. Like, I'm always striving for more,
more and more. Yeah. I would agree. I feel like you're very replaceable. At all times. Yeah, I mean,
it's no different. I'm sure than like football. There's always somebody that's coming that's younger and that
they can pay less and like it's just, I don't know, you can win. We're like the stock market,
essentially. Like your stock can be super high right now and two years from now. It can be worth hardly
nothing and people just forget about what you did two years ago. So I feel like you're super
replaceable at all times. I feel like you have to be that way.
Because if you get comfortable, like, I don't know, I just feel like you could be replaced.
Not that you guys are comfortable, but when was, to build off Taylor's question, when was a moment where you feel like you've earned?
Because you talk, you just said, stock could be high, but in two years it could be this.
If your stock's low, there is no two years.
When do you, when did you guys feel like you started to gain some leash in NASCAR?
Because if you win one, it's like if you win a cup race, like, and you perform decent throughout the season, then you already know you're,
going to have a spot on the squad.
Yeah, I would say for the next couple years.
For me, when I won my first cup race, like, I remember winning and, like, kind of being
like, all right, like, I'm probably going to get renewed for next year now.
Like, so you feel at least safe for the remainder of that next year.
Then even last year, like, you know, I think when I went to Joe Gibbs racing, there was
never this expectation for me to, you know, win three races and like being the championship
four.
So whenever I was able to do that, I felt like I kind of exceeded even what I think they
thought I was going to do.
So you feel comfortable, but you still feel like you could be replaced pretty easily.
It's just a weird mentality.
Yeah.
My was probably running my first Daytona 500 and then the first cup race and then signing for
my first year in the Cup series full time because I had raised the O'Reilly series,
which is like the second highest level of NASCAR.
And then I was racing a half season in the Cup series as well, full season in O'Reilly.
So I had a lot of, you know, different races where I was doing double duty.
At the same time, like Chase said, you always feel replaceable, which is, I mean, did you guys ever feel like that?
Oh, dude, every day.
Yeah, I mean, there's like a phrase like, only the paranoid survive.
Like, even when you do well, if you were able to get like an individual accolade where you're like, oh, you've made a pro bore and all pro, it's like, oh, that feels really good.
You feel good for the rest of that season.
And then once the off season hits, you have a certain amount of time, you're like, well, what if I can't do it again?
What if this happens?
All the what ifs about the next guy coming up trying to get you.
the the paranoia of like I have to get one percent better exists until you essentially hang it up.
And once you hang it up, it's like, now you sit back, you reflect you're like, well, I'm really
proud of X, Y, and Z that I was able to do.
But if I could go back, it would definitely be more, I would try to be more present in the successes
and even in the failures too.
It's hard to know, like I've thought about that.
Like, if I could go back and go 10 years ago and be like, hey, everything's going to be okay
for the next 10 years.
Yeah.
You probably would treat things a little bit differently, right?
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah, I feel like in football, for me, it was like phases.
It's like I was in fight or flight for a lot of my career.
But it was like, you know, for example, fight or flight to like make the roster.
And then it was like fighter flight to like stay at practice.
And then it was like fighter flight to like, okay, I got some burn in a few games.
Like how do I get, how do I stay playing like when the games are happening on Sunday?
And then you get a few starts.
Then you win the job the next year.
So then it's like the mentality of fighter.
flight now becomes you're operating with the team to try and win game to try and like win with
the games whereas like young in my career it was just like fight or flight just to like stay at
practice you just like stay on the team so there's always like different iterations but there was like a
couple seasons where i just felt more like part of the squad to where the goal is to you're looking
at the next season you're looking at who's on your schedule you're looking at how you can make the
playoffs which is a which is a much more comfortable feeling than feeling like yo how do i just
stay on the fucking, how do I just stay on the squad and not get cut?
Yeah, I feel there's a lot of ways to feel alienated when you're in that back half
of the roster and you're like, am I going to get cut week to week?
What's going to happen?
What if they bring or replace a guy?
What if somebody from a different team who plays the same position as me?
They come in and they get cut from their team and maybe he's more available.
Like there's a lot of things, especially that back half of the roster that I know a lot
of guys go through.
Yeah, it just depends.
Like it could be like if I'm on the, if I'm in the younger years and I'm just getting
on the roster and Taylor's on the squad.
Taylor's like,
we can clinch the fucking division this weekend.
And I'm just like, dude,
I'm just,
I'm worried about if I'm gonna get to dress or not.
Not like both,
both pressures,
you're feeling the same emotions,
just like different situations
to where I'm like,
in my own selfish game that I'm playing,
I'm like, yeah,
if we clinch a division,
like that'd be sick,
but I'm just trying to be on the fucking squad.
I would say we're pretty similar
and then you guys are pretty similar
in your respective roles.
Like,
it's kind of how I am.
right now like I'm just trying to well I think it's insane that this dude's sweeping floors
yeah I like that like humble beginnings and would you mention you won the fucking Daytona 500 no no no no
he raised his first race the dayton oh got you yeah yeah that'd be sick yeah I'll take it yeah yeah
per your thought process though isn't it interesting that like you look back 10 15 years ago
you've already achieved the goals that you said would make you happy so like at the end of the day
What you can reflect on is the idea that, let's say nothing goes the way you want the rest of the time and your career is on the back nine.
Let's just say it is.
You guys have done it, which is like one of the coolest perspectives to kind of be able to zoom out.
And you can only do it for like a finite amount of time, like almost at a timer for yourself to be like,
hey, just so I know this, like my childhood self would be extremely proud of what we've done.
It's hard to keep that perspective.
Dude, it's just being competitive, especially when you're in the middle of the season like you guys are right now.
Because you get wrapped up in it.
Yeah.
And it's every single week.
pressure and Nashville then you're at Michigan now you're in Pennsylvania this week and
there's not like a whole lot of time for you to sit there and be like all right I didn't
race my best but how sick is it that I'm even in the position to race and think about the next
one yeah and that is it's a hard thing I wouldn't even suggest going there sometimes you know the only
reason like they would no nobody's able to do that until your career's over yeah but the way
you're able to use like I'm sure you guys are into mental psychology and just things that
help with sport performance and everything else.
But it's almost like alleviating, trying to alleviate the pressure that they do have it on
themselves.
And you do get to play or not play.
You do get to participate in the game you loved growing up.
So hopefully that helps relieve you of the stress you put on yourself when you are in the car.
Yeah.
Not unlike, hey, I made it because I've already accomplished everything I've wanted to.
Like I'm a NASCAR driver.
So who cares if I go out here and fuck up.
It's almost like to get the monkey off your back of just putting pressure on yourself to still
perform and try to win the fucking race.
Yeah.
I feel like I'm a lot like that.
Like on a bad day,
like I'm always telling myself like,
man,
it could be way worse.
Like I literally,
I remember like making a job resume
to go work in assembly line.
I'm like,
man,
yeah,
I finished 35th today,
for example,
right?
Like,
I'm still getting to drive
a race car for a living.
And I was almost working
in an assembly line.
Like,
it's not that bad.
Right.
So I feel like,
I don't know,
I'd probably go there more
than other people,
but I don't know.
Definitely I have to appreciate it.
And I try and live every day
like it's my life.
I try and enjoy myself.
Oh, buddy, you popped out of the damn escalate.
We work hard.
I work hard.
I feel like I try to,
but at the same time,
I try to enjoy myself because never know when it's your last.
What is race day like for you guys before the race starts?
Chaos.
It depends on if my kids are there.
You guys are doing,
oh, yeah,
how many kids you got?
I got three.
So we got a year and a half old twins and a four and a half year old.
Buddy, talk to me.
Boys girls?
We're going to pivot that question real quick.
Four and a half year old's boy,
and then the twins are boy girl.
What's it like having twins?
It's hard.
I bet.
Yeah, it's a lot.
Again, it's a war that takes place, huh?
Yeah.
Yeah, they're wide open, like running all over the place.
It's funny now, like, you know, a couple other drivers have had kids that they're
have two and I'm like, they're talking about how hard it is.
I'm like, buddy, you have no idea.
Imagine having two of the same age at the same time.
Right.
Both in diapers?
Yeah.
Oh, I think about that.
It's a lot.
One's acting like Noah.
The other one's like, maybe more chill.
That's why having my four-year-old get along so good.
They're the same capacity, basically.
Yeah, you get the four and a half.
You get the four-year-old, they're like, hey, just go see Uncle Noah.
He sugars him up.
Noah, keep him busy.
Whenever Brooks, his son comes to the track or something, I'll bring him a bunch of candy.
There's somewhere.
That's the move of the uncle, dude.
You sugar them up and save him off.
I gave him a monster at Daytona.
Yeah, there's some, I think he was North Wilkesboro.
That's insane.
He goes over to Noah's trailer, and he's, like, hanging out over there.
And, you know, I trust him.
Yeah, it was Wilkesboro.
And Brooks, our oldest comes back.
He's got, like, three Twizzlers hanging out one side.
He's got two rice crispy treats.
He's got an ice cream sandwich in one hand and like sour patch kids in the other.
I'm like, dude, like just wait until you have kids and you go see how bad of an idea this was.
Yeah, because going up like that's a lot.
This is worse.
The going down part.
It's like, hey, what happened to you, you crack addict?
It's crazy.
Psychotic.
Red die 40 is a real thing.
Yeah.
Hey, I'm with you on that, brother.
But race day, you guys are a very unique situation because you're meeting with fans.
You're taking pictures, shaking hands, kissing babies, the whole.
thing like when's it set in that pregame anxiety for you guys do you even get that at this point
yeah so i'm gonna go out and rip you got to just flip a switch i mean we're literally taking pictures
standing next to fans and partners and family and friends on the grid during the national anthem right
before we throw a leg in the car and get in so really for me the time is to flip the switch is when
i put that helmet on and i strap in you get a minute before you roll off the grid and pace laps and
that's really the first time you can really take a breath from the time you crawl out of bed in the
morning of race day. Yeah, I would say for me, it's when the window net goes up. So like, like no,
I was saying, we'll be doing meet and greets and taking pictures out by the car. And like for me,
you know, I'll be, I'll be getting in the car literally buckling up like my son Brooks,
he'll be sitting there, like high-fiving me and dabbing me up and handing me my helmet. So like even
when I'm putting my helmet on, like I'm still interacting with him. And then when the window
net finally comes up, let's like the first time really all day I've,
now been by myself and can just take a second.
And then, yeah, normally, you know, a minute after that,
we're rolling off and starting to line up for the race.
So it's pretty quick.
Like, for us, it's very normal.
But I know, like, I've had some buddies, you know,
that are, you know, professional baseball players and stuff.
And they're coming to the racetrack.
And they're like, how in the world?
Like, there's days I pitch.
I won't even talk to my family.
I'm like, yeah, it's just wild.
It's crazy.
But, like, we go to, like, different sports.
And we have buddies that play different sports.
Or, like, we just went down to Myrtle Beach for a Coleswindale concert
and seeing how.
him in his zone and him walk out to the stage and everything.
And I'd say he's a lot like us where he's interacting right before he goes out there and
performs.
Like I tried to put myself in because we're fans at those moments and think, man, how can I do
a better job for the guests that I have at the racetrack or what can I do for them?
And so I'll bring him to the driver's meeting or just try to be interactive the whole time
when I'm at the track because it's kind of awkward when you're just standing there waiting
on me, I would assume, to do stuff in the hauler.
So I try to, you know, my team's a little more lenient on what I give them like an
experience.
But, I mean, for me, when I'm at the racetrack, like all my prep works done throughout the
week.
If I'm looking at stuff when I'm at the racetrack, it's too late as it is.
So when I get to the racetrack, I try to, you know, be focused, but I try to enjoy
myself too and enjoy the people that I'm with.
Do you guys have like a go-to rhythm, like once the net goes up or that leg gets in the car
to where you're like getting in your zone.
I don't know.
Or you guys just get in and say let's fucking grip and rip boys.
You're just ready to get it done.
Yeah, I don't have any of it.
How about that fucking guy right there, huh?
Aslet specimen.
To unit.
Getting back to Pocono real quick, I do,
it's a day race, correct?
Yeah.
3 p.m. Eastern.
And I looked at kind of the astrology that's taking place.
There hasn't been a crescent moon since May 12th.
Yeah.
How does that make us feel especially going to go into that turn too?
Well, you're going to want the grip of a waxen crescent.
It would have been nice for Poconos.
That would have been so nice.
We're going to be out of control this again.
It'll be slick.
Yeah.
I don't know.
I haven't looked,
but I want to say Sonoma Week is waxing crescent next time.
It's going to be so gripped up.
So it'll be really gripped up.
And it's a repave,
but it's kind of been aging in the last couple years.
They repaved it about two years ago.
Yeah.
The wild thing was actually last week in Michigan.
It was a 9.20 p.m. sunset and northern lights for the waning Gibbis.
It's crazy.
talk about that's a wild that's a wild combo what does a waning gibbis do for a grip is that help out a lot that's a little less than a waxing crescent but the 920 sunset and the northern lights it keeps the track heated up more yeah it just it threw us for a loop on our team I know we actually hit it pretty good this past weekend better than we normally have the past couple weeks so we ran up in the top 10 like my car had a lot of grip so we must a must a must either guessed wrong or guessed right and then I ended up working out so now when it comes to a crescent what is the um what's a half waxen
Sorry, when it comes to a waxing crescent, what's the half life on that? Like, if I say to you,
May 12th was the last time we had a waxen crescent in Pennsylvania, that's way too far of a time
between then and now. But like, is there like a week? Like if you get a waxing crescent last week in
Pennsylvania, does that, like how long will it last? It's like a three-day shelf life. Oh, that's it.
It's short. God. So you have to hit it like Richmond in 2024, we hit it really good. And it was
super gripped up there. Bristol night race 2019. Yeah, that was a lot.
big one.
Now when you're,
what's the best time for it?
Is it just nighttime?
The Bristol night race,
we hit like the very beginning of it.
So we're just,
it's the first phase, yeah.
Yeah.
It's important to have that group, dude.
Gotta be in a fucking astrology.
Gotta have it, dude.
There's a lot.
You know, waxing crescent is a big deal.
Like the moon phases,
the chicks are into it too.
So it gives us like something to talk about.
Yeah?
Yeah.
So what's going on?
Just a little something,
some knowledge,
some light ball knowledge
on the moon phases and stuff.
Just for human beings that know like,
what are they they call them jersey chasers in football
yeah yeah
what are they called pit lizards
pit lizards
pit lizards uh helmet hover
uh razor chaser chaser
waffle belly
when we're in we gotta hate being called pit lizards
do you see this right here
the sticker here says lot lizards right there
that's truck stop
we don't objected by it's chuck stop living right there
uh dude when we were in Nashville
by the way did you guys here
I think it was like
those guys that did the gentleman start your engines
So you guys hear that?
It's pretty.
Do you guys hear about it?
I'm here and it's one of the best ever.
It was up there.
You see it?
Mount Rushmore, yeah.
Mount, you gotta be, right?
Where at?
And Nashville.
No, who did it there?
You didn't see it?
Oh, you guys.
Yeah, yeah, baby.
Let's go.
Jamie, look it up.
Jamie, pull that up.
Dude, when we were in Nashville, we started walking up and down and Jeremy
Clump, one of our guys on busing, he's got a buddy who's in the pit crews.
And there's a girl there.
She's like, come on, baby, you got it.
Go get it.
You got this.
And I'm like, oh, who's your driver?
And she goes, you know how it is.
Just try to bring one in.
That's all you can do.
I'm like, oh, my God.
What is the name for you?
And now I know it's a lap lizard or what's it called?
Pit lizard.
A lap lizard.
A lap lizard.
You already know about your feet.
A lap lizard.
Come on, baby.
You got this.
And I'm like, which one are you talking to?
She's like, you know how it goes.
Just got to go out there and see what happens, brother.
She was a lot.
She was a ball of energy, though.
Got to give her some love on that.
What are we looking up right now?
No, you don't have to.
You don't have to do that.
That's for them to look up on the car ride back to the plane.
Yeah, that was a joke.
They can look at them and say, oh, those guys kind of fuck, dude.
You know, how is, uh...
Summer is on at Base 31.

Plan your visit at base31.ca.
I love the sounds, the buzzing from the stadium, the chanting from the fans,
the announcers calling the place soccer, football, at home.
Why do I watch the World Cup?
That's like asking me, why do I breed?
I inherited that fandom from my mom.
I like watching it with my dad's.
It's a connecting force.
From Futuro Studios, I'm Fernanda Chavari, and this is American Football, a show about soccer culture in the U.S. and its underdog roots.
We go beyond the game to the people and the stories that make it great.
A soccer game is a festival.
It's not just a game.
It's your culture.
I took an elbow to my head, which cracked my skull.
It is an American game.
The Brazilians don't like hearing that, though.
Are they the only ones that don't like it?
Actually, nobody likes that.
As we get ready for the Men's World Cup this summer,

Everyone sees me as a football player, but before anything else, I'm human.
Every single day I'm still learning how to live with problems, mistakes, relationships, emotions ever since I was born.
And I still have so many questions. Where do we come from? What happens after death?
How do you deal with cancellation?
Cristiano or Messi? Do aliens exist? What is love?
Real Madrid or Varsa? From every day and ordinary to the deep and extraordinary.
This isn't a normal podcast. Everything here is spontaneous, real and genuine.
This podcast is like a deep talk with your closest friends, where vulnerability comes out.

This is cool
How was shooting this
NASCAR versus Navy
That's so much fun
It was fun
Yeah
We're like good actors
Low-key too
Are you?
So I've been told
Definitely know
I'll tell you what
You're a full of seven kind of guy
You know it
Hey
Yeah
And you would say good acting
I wouldn't say good acting
But I've been told
I'm a good actor
But
If you had to give yourself
Pointers
Because I've seen the trailer
I'm not gonna sit here
And pretend like
I've seen the whole 30-minute film
I'm gonna watch it
I'm not one to talk about myself
I let others talk about my accolades.
So maybe Chase would be a better, better ask.
Tell me about Noah's acting.
He's good.
I mean, I think because he has no filter
and he's just able to just let loose all the time
that makes it, I mean, he's very authentic.
I mean, you see him how he is here.
Like before we came in and started filming this,
he's acting the exact same way.
I love it.
He put that 135 up like I was nothing.
Now, are you somebody who had to do a lot of extra takes?
You like that?
We do a lot of extra takes with Noah
just because he's always going all.
script and extra takes they call me
OTW
what one take wonder
one take wonder what's how they call me
OTW yeah it was fun though because we
normally don't all get together like
especially we're there for what two and a half days I think
yeah three days yeah so we were like filming
during the day and then at night like we just go hanging out
and we'd go to dinner and stuff and like
no boo shout on nobu yeah yeah
he's the master if you go to nobu about what to order
yeah you believe like some fine dining
and it was on NASCAR's dime so
dude, I was ordering everything I know.
NASCAR, I was a splash on them when NASCAR takes care of their boys.
NASCAR, we were splashing on them, baby, splashing on them.
You know it.
But we had so much fun.
Like, the filming was fun, but we had, I wish we had, like, behind the scenes.
Like, we made so many memories and, you know, like Chase said, not,
we don't ever really get to hang out with each other that much.
So, like, I had beef with Christopher Bell that I didn't even know I had beef with.
He just has hated me for the last 10 days, or 10 years, I should,
and now we're, we're chilling, we're cool.
And we squash the beef, and now we're buddies.
And spending that time together, you never talk to these guys at the racetrack for the most part.
Like, I talked to Chase, but I don't really talk to Christopher or some other ones.
So it was kind of a forced relationship.
What beef is going on that you didn't know about?
Chase could tell you.
So I didn't know about this.
So Christopher, like, so back when 2017, that truck year that I was talking about, Noah was teammates with Christopher.
and I kind of knew that Christopher didn't like Noah
and so we were all out there and I'm like
dude I really I think so Chase is known the whole time
I've known the whole time yeah I didn't know and no is like
you don't tell him no I didn't tell him
and so Noah was like he's like I don't
I think Christopher hates me or something I don't know what's going on
I'm like well you pissed him off a long time ago I said I remember
this because me and Christopher used to live together
so I knew about the beef from way back 10 years ago
I'm like yeah he texted you like when you became
teammates over there and was like hey it's christopher you know looking forward to being your teammate
no he said like hey it's christopher like good luck this year in the trucks and no hitting back with
christopher who i don't know i said thanks and then christopher who oh no i thought he's big he thought i was
big leaking him the whole time and he didn't even say nothing to you like the whole time your teammates
like i'm like this dude hates me and i couldn't figure him out and then on the flight home from
san diego we all started squashing the beef with each other and we were saying oh i'm gonna wreck you
one day I'm a wreck of you and then I got into it.
I'm like Christopher, why, why do you hate me the last 10 years?
And he told me he was like, funny you asked.
And now we're, now we're all good.
This is the most guy thing ever.
Shout out San Diego trip and NASCAR because it squashed all our beefs.
Yeah.
How long are we guys in San Diego for?
Three days.
And then we flew back.
So we had like a five-hour flight together where we were just all talking.
The fly was so much fun.
Hanging out.
Were we on Southwest?
No, citation latitude.
Dude.
Let's go.
What do we, how do we feel about Blaney's mustache in this?
It's pretty good.
It's pretty good.
That thing is.
It's got some weight to it.
Have you guys thought about putting one on you?
I can't do it.
I would have to shave and then stick it.
Yeah, you have to.
I couldn't get one that.
Yeah, I can't do it that thick.
God, I can, I can maybe, maybe get mine to look like yours.
There's no way I can get mine to look like.
This is all I got man.
I can't grow facial hair.
You can?
I, my, my, my beard looks like pubic hair, dude.
It's a, it's a two,
My super patching.
That's all right.
You have a signature.
I'm a mustache guy.
Especially like when you have kids, it's like if you have a mustache, it's like nice.
Like you kind of, you're on a good track at least, you know?
I'll start growing one.
I'll try.
Yeah, get one going.
You're a guy that needs a mustache too.
Just your personality.
Just a bowl cut and a mustache.
Or maybe a bullcut and a mustache.
Maybe a bullcut with a mullet.
So it could be like a bullet and a mustache.
Yeah.
You start bringing back like heavy stereotypes.
That's true.
Yeah.
And you have the opportunity.
Just jacked.
Jacked, crazy mullet with some lightning bolts on the side.
There you go.
Little mustache.
Like, yeah, buddy.
That's too clean cut for me.
That's too clean cut for me.
That's too clean cut.
You need a duster on that lip right there.
That's all you need.
That would have changed.
Jamie Aye that mustache on the leg place.
Maybe face with the mullet.
Throw it on there a little bit.
Speaking of stereotypes, how do we feel about the movie Talladega Nights?
The documentary?
Yeah, it's a documentary.
Okay, good.
Let's give a round of applause to that.
That is an answer I wanted to hear.
The documentary.
Yeah, a couple guys.
A couple guys who are on this, but we're not going to say names.
Just a couple guys who are teammates that are trying to, one guy's winning all the time.
The other guy's just trying to win every once in a while.
Yeah.
I got to, at Stuart Haas, we did it.
We got to run the Talladega Knights cars, me and Ryan Priest at Talladega.
Yeah, pull it up, Jamie.
Yeah, okay.
Just get into it now.
I like that.
What's your actual name?
All right.
Shout up, Jamie.
Shout out, Jamie.
Type on Stewart Haas, Talade.
It's probably a Google image thing.
James Wies pulling that up, dude.
What was it like driving cars for your hero, Tony Stewart?
It's pretty wild.
So as a kid, I would literally, so Tony Stewart used to drive the number 20 Home Depot car.
And I had this like Halloween outfit that was a Home Depot, you know, fire suit and helmet.
And I would every day, I would literally put it on and play my racing video game.
And so Tony grew up like 45 minutes from where I grew up in Indiana.
And both grew up racing smart cars.
So I remember when I got signed by Ford.
called my parents, you know, told him, and I'm like, man, could you imagine if I somehow
like drove for Stuart Haas one day and like specifically drove the 14 car? And then I got to
drive the 14 car that Tony drove. So it was crazy how kind of just full circle. And then when I got to
go to Cup, I was running the X-Finity series and had a really good year. And Tony invited
me to his house with like our sponsors at the time. He's like, hey, I want your parents to come.
You know, I think it'll be good for the sponsors to meet them. And so we're all at Tony's
house and I had no idea what I was doing the next year yet. And he's like, you know, wanted to get
everybody here. He's like doing a toast. He's like, you know, you only get told you're going to the
Cup series for the first time one time. So I wanted your family and all the people that were important
to you to be here. And I was like, wait what? And so like to have your hero tell you that you're
going to the Cup series. And like he had all these hidden cameras in his house. So like I had that
moment forever with my parents. It was, uh, it's pretty cool. Dude, that's awesome.
Did you cry? My parents were born. I was tearing up. But I, I did not cry until later.
Yeah, I was crying.
You cry.
You're in the bathroom.
We're in a home dico outfit
every day while you play a video game?
Oh yeah, dude.
And he's telling you you're going to the Cup series.
Yeah, and the 14 car.
It's pretty wild.
That's fucking badass.
Yeah, there we are, though.
That's Talladega night.
So I was Cal Nott and I was the 14, obviously.
Jamie, scroll over real quick, Jamie.
I saw you doing that with your hand too a few times.
Yeah, yeah.
The sixth picture, down, down one.
Where's the two guys right there?
There you go.
Yeah, there we are.
There you go, Jamie.
Chase
Chase looks like
I did the handlebar
The best attempt of a handlebar mustache
That weekend I don't have it in that picture
But I tried to go full on Caldon
But buddy it's badass
It's all just
It's just so bad ass
You guys like that movie?
Lo
That documentary
It's phenomenal
Yeah I love that dog
Everything about it dude
It's incredible
I didn't know shaking
It wasn't real until Bubba came on
Now is shaking bake not real
Or is that just
Are the old guy is trying to keep it hidden
Yeah we got
No we keep it hidden
We don't like to talk about it.
It's like a gentleman's agreement.
We don't really talk about it.
How long did it take you guys to learn about the Wax and Crescent?
I feel like once you got in, like it was kind of like the sock thing.
Like once you get into the sport guys, like the veteran guys are trying to look out for you.
They're like, hey, this might be something when you're studying.
So you'll have like guy.
Like I don't know.
Like Tony probably took you in under his wing.
But Kurt Busch was a guy who from Vegas who took me in under his wing when I first, like I was in the, what was the K&N series?
It's the Arka Series now.
And so he took me in.
and, you know, just give me pointers here and there and watch my races, text me stuff.
And, you know, the sock thing came up with keeping your right sock on.
It's like a superstition with NASCAR guys.
And then you got the waxing crescent, obviously, with the moon faces and stuff.
So just different things that you would never, like, know unless somebody were to tell you.
And luckily, we had great mentors that would help us out.
Did you, did you have a driver that you idolize growing up?
I liked Kurt and Kyle Busch growing up just because they're Vegas guys.
So I was like Clint Boyer.
I don't know if you guys about him at all,
but he was kind of one of the more outgoing guys in racing.
Tony Stewart as well was super cool.
So there's a, I mean, I looked up to most of them, you know, if not all.
If not all.
When did your big break come getting into NASCAR?
I would say I ran three races for Joe Gibbs racing in 2018.
And in my first race in the Xfinity series at the time,
which is a Riley series now.
And I finished second in my first race and had a shot to win.
And that was kind of the turning point where kind of put my name on the map, I'd say.
And then I had a pretty good Xfinity series career.
We won four races in a row in 2022.
This was part of it.
That was our sixth win of the year.
But so was awesome.
We had some just crazy, crazy finishes.
Pocono was one with Ty Gibbs.
I held them off for like 20 laps.
and he was on my back bumper.
And that was a pretty intense race.
Also going to Darlington, racing Kyle Larson and Sheldon Creed for the win there.
Just some exciting races.
And I was always kind of the guy, like shotgun and beers after the race when we win.
I just like to have fun and enjoy it.
You never know when your last race might be or last win is going to be.
So just trying to take a day by day.
There we go.
How are you on chugging beers?
Do you pretty cool?
There had to be like a super fast shutter speed because I delete those beers really fast.
So yeah, yeah, they had to like get that.
The frames.
The timing of that was perfect.
Yeah.
That's what the professional's one frame per one frame beer guy kind of guy, you know.
Are you a fast chugger?
Yeah.
You can put them down for real like actually.
Like here, you take one.
Let's do them right now.
I'm not the chugger.
I'm not a chugger either.
Like I'm almost asking because we have a, we do have a champion in on the bus.
Who?
Our ringers.
Yeah, our ringers, this man right here.
No.
Oh, you're good at it?
Oh, you're good at it.
You just said you didn't chug.
I don't chug.
Anymore, I'm retired.
He retires unless there's a, there's a, you know, a quality opponent.
I'm retired.
I have to see.
Are you guys any good at the beer Olympics?
Oh, buddy, yeah.
We won the last champions.
Come on.
That's fire.
How do you fancy yourself in beer games?
I'm okay.
Yeah.
No, I like that.
Should we get them set up?
Jamie, can you set that up?
That's the tone just now.
Chugging beers after races.
He's got a mullet.
Like I'm sure he's...
I'm bad at two things
and it's cup racing and ping pong.
All right.
Okay.
I like that.
Cup racing.
So chugging beers, dude.
Hey, I saw a nice little video of you
in a lawnmower.
Passing out beers at Talladega.
Oh, yeah.
With Marshawn, my boy, Marshawn.
Just have a little fun on the show.
Have a little fun.
Have a little fun.
I play this clip.
Jimmy, play this clip.
Jimmy, find that clip.
That's a video.
It's loading.
Oh, here we go.
I'm okay at it.
The crack with the teeth is all time.
You got to.
Right after a race,
the thumb vent as well.
Yeah.
Something white,
you know.
That's good.
A little spillage,
nothing wrong with that.
Set it up.
I see you.
That's how a true artist works too.
You're not rushed by the moment, which is good.
Now, you got to take it all in.
You got to appreciate it.
You're a coxman right now, dude.
You're letting the people know who's who in the zoo.
Let me see this.
Oh, you're getting crushed.
Let's do it right now.
I'm just telling you.
You're getting crushed.
Jamie, pull up
a, beer Olympics,
what was it?
The second one,
20,
23.
No,
dude,
we gotta get cold ones
and I gotta get a warm up beer
and then they have to get
17 more beers.
It's always a nice case with these guys that are slow.
I'll just show you my.
I'm retired,
guys.
I just got done racing.
Like,
I was trying to enjoy the beer,
too.
That might be it.
Look up Pocono.
Shotgun.
Pogoano.
Oh, go down, go down, go down, go down, go down, go down, that one right there.
Is that the one of us, that one?
Yeah.
I think, is this the one?
Yeah.
Look at Colin.
That's a big one, though.
That's 36 ounces of liquid right there, brother.
It took you down with 36 ounces.
That made you a little nervous, didn't it?
I'm retired now, though.
I'm retired.
I'm good at it.
You got to worry about that.
Look at that.
How about that mullet?
That's a great moment.
I got to bring that shit back, dude.
Damn!
I got to bring that shit back.
Shout out Hardy and his beautiful wife.
Dude,
she got after that day.
She got after.
She's the color.
She is rad.
How do you do with keeping your stomach nice and light during races?
Me?
Whenever I would win, I would throw up.
Yeah, talk to me.
But I'm trying to find a Pocono shotgun because that was pretty father.
He's trying to fight.
We just raced.
I just watched it go down.
No, no.
You were the one that's.
You were the one that said, hey, go ahead, click on that video.
Let's go right now.
Come on.
Dude, he wants it.
I'm retired.
I know.
That's the thing.
It's a story of the old bull and the young.
How old are you?
It's like Uncle Rico over here saying he could throw a football over the mouth.
Corby.
Yeah.
I love him.
I was trying to get after right now.
Can I tell you?
Can I give you a take of mine on that movie?
Yeah.
I think it's dog shit.
What movie?
No.
Napoleon dynamite.
Yeah, it is terrible.
Okay, good.
I felt like the first time I said it, people hanged on it.
You never thought it was funny.
I really was never
I didn't really understand it
I like that movie
I like to do
good reference though
I'm with you
I'm a tall a day
but I'm not
not for Napoleon Dynamite
yeah like that's
they have funny scenes
they have scenes
they're like oh there's like
stuff that you use
I guess what surprises me
is going out of your way
to hate on it
no I think it sucks
and topic
you yeah you want to make it a point
to let everybody know
like you know
Napoleon Dynamite sucks
like if anybody likes it
like you suck
no no
everyone's a lot
to have their opinion
no matter how wrong they are,
but like people can have their opinions.
I'm just letting you know,
like that's how I feel about Napoleon Dino.
So you wouldn't vote for Pedro?
I don't even, yeah, my guess I would.
Did you wouldn't vote for Pedro?
Probably not, dude.
Honestly, him like that.
I don't think that part's that funny.
Yeah.
To be honest.
The dance isn't that funny?
Like, it's just not that funny.
Rex Cuando.
It's not that funny.
Rex Cuando was funny, man.
Oh, that's not that funny.
The older brother just randomly saying,
your mom goes to college.
Yeah, dude, what's Tina,
eat your food or whatever.
Tina, eat your food or whatever.
and eat your dinner.
Eat your dinner.
Like, that's all right.
And then Uncle Rico gets off the porch
and chucks the burrito at Napoleon
when he's riding the bike.
Oh, that noise?
It just smokes him in the head.
It's all right.
Stembrothers is for sure that the goat.
Stebredthers is the goat.
Yeah.
Semi-pro is up there for me too.
I love Semiprororedthers all day, baby.
Semipro and me, it's wedding crashes.
Blades of Glory.
Blades of Glory.
It's funny.
I've seen Blades of Glory.
I've seen Blades of Glory quite a few times.
Old school.
Yeah, wedding crashes
is my number one of all time.
Hey,
what about Animal House?
That's before my time.
Yeah, but you still,
like, that's the thing about time
and movies is they can last it.
Animal House is,
they're good, yeah.
This is a good movie.
This is a good cult classic, right?
I'll watch it tonight.
You won't.
I never saw that commercial.
I'm going to watch a Gold Knights win.
On this.
Same, never saw it.
We had a whole day shoot on that commercial.
And it never.
I guess I bombed.
No, dude, you were awesome.
What did you guys think of NASCAR?
Did you like NASCAR?
It was incredible.
Yes, bro.
I think here's what I think the problem is,
is people just need to go.
Like, people just need to go to NASCAR to experience it to be like,
oh, this shit is fucking awesome.
TV doesn't do it justice.
Not at all.
Not as much.
No.
The smells, the sights, the access, all the things going on around it.
Even you guys just being that like tangible in front of everybody.
You know what I mean?
It's like you could sit here like as a fan and see you guys as heroes like,
if you're at a football game or anywhere else,
like they're on the field and you're kind of just away from them.
whole time. You guys are walking around. Everybody's kind of engaged in like part of the entire
event. And seeing that everybody like tailgates and camps out and everything else, I think it is
wild, man. It is like once the engines get going and you guys are kind of ripping around those
first few laps and you just feel all the energy to start your engines, like you guys finally
getting in. Yeah, that one was good in Nashville. Yeah. Oh, you saw it. I heard it. You heard it?
You heard it from your car? Yeah. It was good. What did you did yourself? Did you give me one word to
describe how you felt about it? Holy shit. American.
Oh, yeah, Jay. Let's fucking go, dog.
Chase the fire. Chase that up.
I said, holy shit, that was baller.
All hyphenated. I love that.
All one word.
All one word.
No spaces, Jamie.
Dude, I'll tell you what blew me away is we were able to go up in a couple of the tents
and seeing all the monitors showing like track lines, how people are going, like where the pressures
and then watching the pit crew guys, like get ready and get after.
Yeah, that shit's bad ass.
They're legit.
You guys are the quarterback of that.
You guys are the quarterback of that team, and I've asked on both shows this question,
what do we do for gifts and Christmas for these boys?
So it depends on the year.
How good you do?
A couple of years ago, I did like a Yeti cooler with all kinds of stuff in it.
I always do like a big gift card for like a nice dinner.
And then I did watches one year for the guys.
What kind of watches we do?
Flutterman Von Reese is like this company in Indiana.
You got them all IPs.
Yeah.
But yeah, I kind of do.
something different every single year.
Whatever he gets for free from his partners.
Yeah, you might as well.
You might as well.
Like Bass Provo.
I see Chase as like a Yeti cooler guy
stuffed with different gifts.
Yeah.
Like was it Fitzpatrick, he would always get a Yeti cooler
for all of his office alignment with his face on it.
It would just be his outline with the beard and everything.
It's kind of bad ass.
And Chase too, it's like if you expect a dinner,
my vibe from Chase, if you expect to go be taken out to dinner,
I feel like that's more, that would be
more on me because it's like oh yeah of course he's a gift he's a gift card guy he's not trying
to go out to dinner with everybody no he's trying to dish out I was no no no no if no I gave a gift
card for dinner I beg deal fucks up no his ass like dudes the life of the party he should be taking
us to a awesome fucking dinner I do dinner for every year like a little Christmas dinner it's
kind of hard because I go out to Vegas November and December during the offseason but so like the
the holiday dinners and stuff get kind of hard so she usually right around when the season ends
but I'm a white envelope guy.
Everybody likes cash, so I throw him some cash.
You would do a lazy-ass white-in-law.
It's not lazy. It's lazy.
It is lazy.
It's still a great gift, but it's a lazy as shit.
Noah's a tight, like chasing some of the drivers,
they'll be having their gifts,
and then Noah strikes me as a cat's like,
oh, yeah, we got to fucking do gifts.
Oh, shit, we got to actually, I forgot about that.
No, I did, I mean, I, no, I was probably one of the best guys,
I feel like taking the guys do stuff.
A couple years ago, we took all of our guys as Supercross.
What are we seen in the white envelope?
How much?
You know, a couple 20s.
50.
1000?
No, bucks.
I hook them up pretty well.
Hook the boys up.
Yeah.
Gotta hook your boys up.
Boys and girls.
You know, we got.
Boys and girls, all of them.
We got them all.
Yeah.
Get it all going.
Yeah.
But without them, like, they make our jobs easier and allow us to get to the racetrack.
So it's, uh, and allow me to do my job.
So it's important that I.
That's another thing.
They bust their ass.
Yeah.
They don't get their families to go to the racetrack.
They don't probably get paid shit.
They're traveling.
They're working.
Their ass off.
It's a tough life as a mechanic on the road or, you know, PR person or whoever it may be.
The spotters have a good.
They get paid really good.
They're just glorified air traffic controllers, basically.
But the rest of them are all working their asses off.
It is crazy witnessing.
Taylor was talking about it, like the pit crew, just seeing the full team, how all
of you have to operate and be aligned and because my dumb brain it's like yeah whoever's in the fastest
car and you're a decent driver they're probably going to win but then you get there and you see what
goes into you guys having a like having a good track having a good race that is uh i thought that was
really cool to see how much of a team aspect it is for you guys yeah i mean a lot of the time the
fastest car doesn't even necessarily win but i mean that's i think the big thing like you were
talking earlier about getting people to the racetrack it's the same like for us i feel like when
we bring new people in, it's like, man, this is way more than just cars turning left.
Like, our company alone has 450 employees for four cars.
Like, there's just a lot that goes into getting our cars on the racetrack.
And then, you know, the pit crew and the pick crew department, there's just, it's a lot more than just a car on the race track, I feel like.
And the pit crew guys, they don't have 450 employees.
That's all right.
That's okay.
You got to get done.
The pit crew guys even got, I mean, it's like a lot of ex-football players.
Yeah, so ours.
Jack is me.
My picker guys, I want to say three.
of them played
college.
One of them, I think,
was NFL for a year.
Who was that?
I'm trying to think
he was with the Titans.
No, not Titans.
What's his name?
Antonio.
CJ?
What is CJ's last name?
No.
No, C.J.
Mosley.
I'm trying to figure out.
I hate him the other week, though.
You hit him?
Yeah.
Oh, yeah.
It went viral.
It went like 30 million views on this.
Hey, Paul that out.
Oh, Jamie?
I'm trying to see if Jeremy Kimbrough was on one
there's Cruz.
Jeremy Kimbrough.
Go and pull it, yep.
Our Jackman, he played for the Dodgers for two years, Caleb.
Dude, I'll tell you what, that'd be a fun little road.
CJ Bailey?
Yeah.
How do you feel when you hit a guy?
Because you got to still race.
You're out of there.
So you're like saying sorry over the comms or what?
Yeah, I mean, I just texting the next day.
I'm like, dude, I'm sorry.
Pick crew.
What do they say?
Don't worry about it.
I mean, they kind of know that's left.
Where was it at?
Talladega.
Oh.
Kimbrose with the 99 team driven by Daniel Suarez.
Uh, old.
There was like a clip, though, from the inside that some fan was staying there,
and they like went viral on Instagram because I was liking all the comments of people
talking crap about me.
Hey, uh, that being said, what's your relationship like with Reddit?
With Reddick?
Reddit.
Oh, Reddit?
Oh, I love Reddit.
Oh, that is psychotic.
Oh, that's the best.
That's psycho shit right there.
He's always loved Reddit.
What's the deal with this?
They just told me, we're sitting there.
the pre-pro and Mitch he's like,
Chase loves Reddit. I'm like, oh, he's a serial killer.
What's going on with that? You got like your own
so I used to lurk. No, I just
get on the NASCAR one. So I used to lurk
forever on there and like I would just read
what people are saying. He's like a massive, like a tier one
fan of NASCAR like since the
we age is. Yeah. Yeah. I just get on there
and like I read all the rumors and I like. Get in his Home Depot
outfit and just get on Reddit. Yeah.
It's still fits. Yeah.
I love reading comments. Like I'll read every comment on
like random stuff.
Like even like when people are talking crap,
I love getting on there.
I like it all.
Like talk back to them.
Really?
Oh, I love it.
So you're not phased by the outer noise of negativity.
No,
I love it.
I bookmark them sometimes.
Do they know?
No shit.
Oh, yeah.
Yeah,
I'll like search my name
and just like the people
talking crap about me after the race.
That is hilarious,
bro.
I love it.
That's crazy.
Like every race.
When did you realize you loved pain like that?
I don't know.
I just,
like every race we were talking about earlier,
how bad my hair is.
For whatever reason,
and Fox and Prime, like the NASCAR people,
always earn the national anthem will show me with my hat off.
And people, it's like 20, 30.
You got to make it your brand.
You got to make it your brand.
You're so right.
Double down on it, Chase.
Yeah, like, you should take your hat off now and just do the rest of the pod.
Oh, that's bald, dude.
I don't know if I know.
You love the Reddit comments when we sit here now and you're like,
no, I'm not going to take my hat off.
Stand up.
That's proven that.
That's proven that you do enjoy the comments.
You almost just take it off and wear it the rest of the time.
Be like, this is me liking all your fucking.
Yeah.
Next time you catch yourself a dub, dude,
you gotta get the grease out.
Your pit crew has to bring up grease to your new.
I got, it should be your sally.
Yeah.
I got ripped.
After I won my first cup race,
I got out, my hair was kind of long.
And it was like up here because the wind was blowing.
Jamie, pull that up this?
What's the Kingpin?
Is that the bowling movie?
Yep.
Everybody was making fun of me
because I looked like the kingpin guy.
What is?
How many tabs Jamie has opened right now.
Oh, there it is.
Look at that, dude.
That shit looks nice, dude.
What are your toy story, dude?
It looks like the,
It was like a tire that's been beat up that just got changed.
We just ran a hard laps on the cords.
Hell yeah.
That's awesome.
When do we see that taking place on our body?
You said high school.
There you.
That's one of them.
That's awesome.
That's the Phoenix one.
This needs to be you.
That's when you had a good head.
You better run that, dude.
I keep a hat in the car now.
You need to be in a head and shoulders commercial like crazy.
Yeah, that probably would be.
Trying to get him to go to Turkey, but.
Yeah, he's been chirping at me to go to Turkey every off season.
You can't go to Turkey.
You can't do that.
If anything,
I wish I had hair loss
because I might shave my head
I might shave my head.
I might shave it up to here
and I might just
just roll with it.
You don't wish you had hair loss, bro.
You need to do that for Halloween
and you'd be Chase.
I actually did it for
Halloween one year.
Did you really?
Yeah.
Yeah, the Brock Bowers photo right there.
I got like Luke Combs hair.
Yeah, I'll tell you what,
you have the hairline
are the best white slot receivers
in Thailand's in the league.
You got the old hunter rent pro
going on.
Yeah, you got the Renfro for sure.
Shout out Raiders.
Shout out the Raiders.
What's your relationship like with Max Crosby?
Have you met him, no?
No.
As your boy, though.
That's awesome.
That is great.
Yeah, that's perfect.
That's killer.
No, no, I don't really have, uh, only AJ Cole.
AJ Cole.
A.J. Cole, shout out AJ Cole.
Dude, AJ's the man, bro.
Yeah.
Um, I don't really have, uh, much relationship.
Whoa.
Oh, I thought you clicked him out.
Yeah, AJ's a goat.
Good kicker.
Great mustache.
I don't really have a relationship with anyone else.
We do now
The Raiders
Yeah
I'm a Colts guy
Let's go
He's a Raider alone
Yeah
Uh
Uh 2021 and 2019
Yeah
Yeah yeah yeah
Oh yeah
Oh yeah
Oh yeah
He ran about you on the way over
Yeah
He's a raider
Just so you know
Will Compton
Played for 17 teams
But he was for the Raiders
For a little bit
You were 17 teams
No
That's a wild stray
That was just been having fun
With my boy
You got a miser too
You got drip out there
Yeah
Oh yeah
The white boy had drip
Yeah you got a little motion
A little motion
For the kid
Little motion for the kid.
Look at the neck.
He had a big ass leg,
yeah.
Look at the neck on that boy right there.
Dang.
Is that a Titans photo?
You got an F1 neck.
He used to be 19, bro.
Now it's like a 16 and a half.
Yeah.
I've lost a lot of girth in the old neck.
How'd you get that thing so girthy?
You know, fucking.
Hard work dedication.
Are you like putting plates on your head and going like this?
Yeah, me, a lot of manual neck.
And just squats, heavy fucking squats.
You never did manual?
You don't do manual neck?
What's up?
You're not pulling.
of jeez are you dude no i got a headrest in that you just a neck propped up baby dude it's just a
big ass dude with a towel and he puts it on your forehead oh yeah they do that up and down sides
and it's hell dude jami can you go back to that uh jersey swap do you guys do a lot of those jersey swaps
oh yeah so we do helmet swaps and now's you really yeah that's crazy you guys ever would you guys
ever do you guys ever have some do we have yeah left over from when you played i don't know i don't know if i
Helmets are tough.
Let go.
I know.
Would you trade one?
He's waiting on a helmet trade from Tony Stewart.
Yeah, I've been waiting forever.
No way.
He never got one.
He's standing you up?
Yeah.
So I gave Tony.
We go hunting with Tony every year.
Oh, really?
Yeah, so I did, I did, I could, there's one.
I'd probably, I could trade the Titans one.
You trade one?
Out of the three?
Okay, you have three.
Okay.
I thought you played for like 10 teams.
No, that was my stray.
That was my stray to have.
Washington, Raiders, and,
Titans. I was with the Saints for like 10 days. Yeah. Yeah. I changed the culture that they went to
the playoffs. Hold on timeout. Did you get up? But I do have a Raiders one like I can't let go.
That's a badass as again. Did you get a Saints helmet? No, no, no, no. That's bullshit.
Dude, look at that. I'm sure. Maybe I just need to send him a message. This is me right before a
workout for the Atlanta Falcons. Was that ever a Tinder profile pick?
Yeah. That should have just been the new profile pick across all pluff. Got that dog in them.
bro that is supposed to play from that year but the NFL blackballed me they did that's actually
that's 100% true I was going in to sign for year 10 and uh I had a gambling show going on at
the time called bet the bus and they just made it very difficult for me to play that year
is it like the MLB where you got to get 10 years get full pension no NFL yeah four four look at
that right there's going on now that's the first I think it's just showing the teeth off yeah
But yeah, helmet swap's tough
Because I don't know how many helmets I have
Jersey Jersey for a suit
Oh yeah, I'm in on that
You got jerseys?
You got boxes
Like down in my basement
I got like boxes
Yeah, oh yeah
We'll call you like
Yeah, I could give a Raiders jersey
Hey
Offense
You're good
Raiders
I can't
I love that you just dapped yourself twice too
Three time, let's go
I can't try
I'm a Colts guy
So that's all right
Are you Hoosiers fan
So I grew up a diehard Butler fan
So I grew up 25 minutes from IU
Uh huh
So I would go to football games as a kid and there'd be 3,000 people there and they'd get blown out by 70.
So it's crazy to me that they, uh, last two years he's been a big fan, you know.
Yeah, no doubt.
I was always a Butler guy.
Like before they made their final four runs, I would always cheer for Butler.
Dude, my, uh, so I played at the University of Michigan and my first big 10 game was in Indiana.
Yeah, the atmosphere was actually dope.
Really?
It was cool.
Yes.
Student section is right behind the away.
Yeah, it is right there.
Even in those years?
How bad did you beat them?
Was it more than 70 points?
So I was in the dark era of Michigan, 09 to 13.
And so this is after Lloyd Carr, but before Harbaugh.
This is what Michigan fans don't like to look at at all.
And we played, I think we went to overtime, actually, and we won.
Well, that's a bad day.
We might have won the last drive of the game right there.
There's your boy right there rocking the seventh, brown jug.
That's a rivalry game against Minnesota.
Why did you choose 77?
Buddy, I'll tell you, because the guy who wore that jersey before me, his name's Jake Long.
And I didn't play offensive lines on my senior of high school.
My dad's like, hey, this guy named Jake Long at Michigan.
He is, yeah, yeah, he's part of football.
That's Paul Jamie.
He's going to be the first overall pick.
And if you're going to play offensive line, like, this is a good guy to look up to.
So I grew up in Arizona.
And I didn't even know about Michigan, Ohio State, Big Ten, Robert, any of that.
But when I got offered by Michigan, I was like, oh, the office alignment
and go to the league, that's where I'm going.
And so Jake's the reason why I went to Michigan.
He's the reason why I were 77.
Dude lives in Nashville now.
Are you guys boys now?
We're boys.
We had coffee a couple weeks ago.
Yeah,
what's the Ohio State game like?
The game.
Yeah.
Like,
is it just unlike anything else?
Look at that.
That's you?
That's me on the right.
That's me on the right.
More tan.
I was way more focused on tarps off tans than Jake was.
The Ohio state.
The hate is real.
What?
I believe it.
So my brother is a diehard Michigan fan.
Dude, the hate, it's the game, dude.
It's the biggest rivalry in all of sports.
It is, there is, you can't wear red in the building.
Well, you know how to get a,
Ohio State, right?
What's that?
You know how to get to Ohio State from here?
How?
You got to go through Ann Arbor.
Do you?
No, I don't think you do.
Yeah.
I have no clue.
I thought you got it and I didn't.
Jamie, pull up the map.
No, you got to go through.
No, no, Ohio.
Ohio State is south.
Gotta go through Michigan and get to Ohio State over the head.
Got to go through.
Yeah, it is.
It is.
I'm lost.
I don't want to be.
Jamie, cut that.
Yeah, Jimmy
Yeah, Michigan's above Ohio
Forget it, go back
So you gotta go through Ohio to get to Ann Arbor
Yeah
No, to get to Ohio State
You have to go through Ann Arbor
You have to go through Michigan
It was a good attempt
That's a joke
I tell you what
You don't get it
I think we do
I think that's the
No, you don't get it
The joke
See, I still don't
The environment compared to anything else
This is taking me longer
To understand than Noah chugging a beer
This is the time
Ohio State people get really mad at that joke because...
Do they?
Yeah, because Michigan's your guys, they're the biggest rival, you know?
Yeah, that is true.
You got to go through Michigan.
Was it four and one in the last five, Mitch?
Something like that.
I went one and three against Ohio State.
One and three.
Look at those.
Did you win at home or away?
One at home.
That's sick.
One at home.
But, dude, yeah, the rivalry, it's very, very intense.
So is there any other environment that even comes close?
It just depends on rival.
College football.
Like you get there's big games big rivalries like the atmosphere to college football game
Have you been to you a college football guy? Yeah
Which games have you been to?
Nothing big I mean I went to IU games so there's never really anybody there
I went to uh let's see I went to Texas A&M Ole Miss I think that's a big rivalry right? I don't know
I miss that's the SEC that's so unique to me is like Tennessee will be rivals with like Florida and Alabama and this other school and it's like well which one's the base is like well right now it's this one
Like Michigan, it's always like Notre Dame Michigan State, Ohio State.
But the number one, without a doubt, is always Ohio State.
And it's like, it seems like lines are more defined up north.
Like a cool one to go to is the Red River rivalry.
Yeah.
Like going to that last year, they split the stadium.
So it's half Oklahoma fans, half Texas fans.
They do it on a neutral site.
And that was cool to be like that atmosphere.
Yeah, college football.
So the NFL doesn't really compare.
I'd be sick to go to a whiteout at Penn State.
Yeah, I played in a wide at Penn State, dude.
How is that?
Is it loud?
It's loud.
There's a viral video of Michigan taking the field.
This is after I was already gone, but they're taking the field first drive of the game.
It's so loud.
So loud they have to call a timeout.
And which is insane because you know what the first plays.
You really know what the first three plays are when you go into a game.
And they are, it's so loud.
This is how often.
Yeah, this is so awesome.
It's wild.
I went at that Texas A&M game.
It was at Cowboy Stadium.
And we were like up in a suite or whatever.
I had a buddy that was worked at A&M.
And so he had us come down to the sideline.
It was wild how much louder it was.
Like once you're down.
Yeah.
The good stadiums do a great job of funneling it into the middle of the field.
Like Michigan, it's the largest, it's a largest stadium in North America, but it's not.
It's the structure's out like this.
$110.
$1.15.
$115 was the night game against Notre Dame in 2012.
Played the night game, won that game.
But the stadium is just so out that it doesn't, it doesn't only funnel it all back in.
Like Lincoln, Nebraska, where he went to school.
That's what, 92,000?
Yeah, they're like, I have no clue now.
It's between like 85 and 95.
But it's somewhere in there.
It is loud.
And it's like 30,000 less, but it is.
That's sick.
Way more loud.
Yeah, like, and you ever get a chance to go to Neeland Stadium?
Yeah, in Knoxville.
That shit gets loud because it's built like straight up.
I guess it was just super loud.
College looks so fun.
Like none of us race car drivers really went to college.
You would have thrived.
You would have thrived.
You would have thrived.
You would have thrived.
Yeah, you would have done awesome.
I would have been such a good.
collar. Yeah, and there's no debt about it. Every class. Yeah, this, uh, Knoxville reminds me a lot of
Penn State. I went to a, I went to a concert here. That's a sick, uh, yeah, sick one. Yeah,
and those fans go hard too. Tennessee fans, they crush it. Summer is on at base 31. The drill
hall, RBC stage is packed with big shows, live music and electric summer nights, featuring acts like
USS, Dallas Smith and the glorious suns. From Can't Miss concerts to food,
drinks, art, history, and places to gather across the B-31 district.
There's never been a better time to visit Base 31 in Prince Edward County.
Plan your visit at base31.ca.
I love the sounds, the buzzing from the stadium, the chanting from the fans,
the announcers calling the place soccer, football at home.
Why do I watch the walk up?
That's like asking me, why do I breed?
I inherited that fandom from my mom.
I like watching it with my dad.
Are they the only ones that don't like that?
Nobody likes that.

I just wanted to get your preference on.
These two photos back to back.
Personally, I think it's a great tandem,
but I just want to, what did you guys think of this last one?
Are you kidding?
Oh, yeah.
So sexy, man.
Oh, dude.
That's sexy people right there.
It's pretty good.

Six, seven.

Yeah, no doubt.
Mitch, do you have any-
Max?
Oh, do you have any...
Max?
Oh, yeah, Max is a homie, bro.
He's awesome.
I want to meet him so bad.
You guys got to hook that up.
We can make that happen.
Yeah, we get hooked up.
Sounds like in the offseason
would be on Red Rock.
Hey, Vegas, Red Rock.
We play a couple Baccarod hands?
Yes, sir.
Get a little loose.
Let's do it.
Mitch, you got any questions?
It's so good.
You're a NASCAR guy.
You ain't got no questions?
Everybody.
The biggest one I was going to have
is for Noah about it.
Hey, forks up.
Forks up.
I didn't go to Airton State
The biggest one I was going to ask
It was just throwing up on yourself
Oh yeah, I used to throw up on myself
After I win races
For the most part
Not every time, but for the most part
I would throw up
Like obviously I'm very in shape
As you can see from the picture
But I would just hold my breath
At the end of these races
And I would like
You know when you like
Run a sprint or mile
And you like are trying to catch your breath
Like I would just hold my breath
and feel like I just got done running a mile
and I would throw up on myself.
I was just at the end of these races,
just trying to do it and would win.
So I'd give anything to throw up on myself again
if it meant I won the race, you know?
Hell yeah, dude.
It's been so long.
So you could just, you have this method
of being able to throw up on yourself,
you're not just gout.
No, it's not like a party trick.
Not a party trick.
It just happens when I'm leading these races.
It's not like nervous.
It's just me trying to give everything I can
to win the race, you know.
Yeah, dude.
I love that.
So focused.
We were talking about on the bus.
I forget to breathe.
The episode of Bus, with the Boys, that just came out this week, there was a whole
conversation about peeing yourself during a football game.
Do you guys repeat yourself during a race?
I haven't.
I tried so hard.
It's hard.
It's hard.
I was telling a 500 this year, I couldn't.
My stomach hurts so bad in my bladder.
And I'm, like, sitting there.
I'm like trying to, like, stretch my legs out, trying to, like, piss.
I couldn't piss.
But some guys do it all the time.
Yeah.
My teammate Zane was sitting on the wall during a red flag on pit road wall.
during a rain delay red flag and pissed himself sitting on the pit road.
That's wild work.
That is wild work.
That's crazy work.
I said, dude, there's porta bodies everywhere.
Yeah, exactly.
It's not like it's indie.
It's Dover.
There's porter bodies everywhere.
That's wild.
It's crazy work.
Yeah, Coke 600 a couple years ago.
It was like a five hour and 40 minute race.
I couldn't hold it anymore.
It's so hard, though.
Does it feel good?
The mental side of it is so hard to make yourself, at least for me to do it.
And I'm like, no, I was like, trying to get my legs as stray as I could.
And you're, like, loosening your belts up.
And it's it the relief of it is very nice because it hurts and like Tony I remember
Stewart was telling me is one of those tricks of the trade he's like look if you got a full
bladder you just got to go because the doctor I guess used to tell him if you crash it's like
a water balloon it'll it'll burst if you crash hard enough yeah he's like safety first when
it comes to peeing yourself everybody usually like run to the port of potty's right before like
the national anthem or like when we're on pit road after we drew driver and trows and you'll
see everybody like going to the the port of bodies to go take a piss right before
the race so we can get like that last you kind of time at least i do you know you sweat it out like once
you're starting out yeah what's the hydration have you ever like cut a cramp during a race because
yeah yeah it runs hard every once while yeah have you ever had like upset stomachs where you kind
of shit yourself no i'm i tried to shoot myself at uh coda two years ago i tried hang on hang on hang
you can't piss yourself i think peeing is different i had the bubble i had the bubble guts and it was so
bad where it was like man i like i was like farting the whole the whole time
time and then I was like man I just got to like shit myself to relieve this pain because I've
never been in this much pain in my entire life and I tried to like shit myself I couldn't I can't
I can't fully believe that I was so sick bubble guts yeah like trying to shit yourself you know
like that would be super easy feeling and you're just like yeah I thought I was dover a couple weeks
because of all-star race I had like the stomach bug bad I lost 10 pounds in three days and I somehow
I was good the whole race, but I thought there was a chance that day.
Thought there was a chance.
At least a chart.
You know what I mean?
Literally, it was bad.
A chart's the worst.
When's the last time you guys sharted?
Two weeks ago.
Yeah.
No way.
It's not super rich.
It's not super rich.
And I thought, I legitimately, it's not like I had an upset stomach or anything.
I just thought I was going to fart.
And I went to fart and I felt like this warm air sensation come out.
And I was like, what the fuck?
And so then I went to the gas station.
I went into the bathroom and like, you know, I pull them down.
I kind of see that I got a little bit shard on there.
So I'm wiping it off.
I'm like, fuck.
And then I stand up and turn around and look in the mirror.
And you can see the fucking short pocket like on my asshole, on my pants.
And I had to like on lighter pants.
So I had to drive home.
I snuck by my wife.
I just went into the closet to change.
And she's like, oh, why did you come home?
It was pouring outside.
I was like, I was just getting soaked outside.
So I just figured I'd change my pants.
You didn't tell her?
No.
The weekend before I pissed the bed.
So it's like I wasn't trying to.
Hey, what's wild is you said a couple weeks ago.
I was thinking when we went to NASCAR
because you had the same situation happen, right?
Yeah.
You started a NASCAR?
I was close to shitting myself.
No, but okay.
Because my stomach was kind of bubbling.
I was starting to feel the urge.
I was like, fuck, I need to hurry up
and figure out how to get off the road.
This one, I thought.
Imagine being strapped into a car and you're like.
Exactly.
That's why I'm like, it's hard,
especially if any of these feelings I had,
like when I was driving to Nashville Speedway,
I had to pull off and find the closest gas station
because it was just coming.
The other one,
I just thought I was casually farting
and that one just caught me by surprise.
And that never happens.
They end up like that just doesn't,
that doesn't normally happen.
That's not you.
the way I was driving to Nashville, the way I felt, it'd be so easy for me to shit in a car.
so when you say bubble guts, I had the shit so bad, it's the most pain I've ever felt in my life.
year and
did you get sick?
I was like the only guy I guess I didn't get sick.
Yeah, I got so sick.
I was so sick. I was like, yeah, I was, I was shit and probably like 10 to 15 times a day.
Lost like a ton of weight and it went on for like a week and a half and like I was on like
all these different kinds of medicines.
Well, like after Mexico City, I went and I played Pinehurst and like had so much fun
golf and I was on the way back.
It's like two hours from home and I sharded my pants on the,
way home and this is just a tell all it's nice and I sharded yeah on the way home and I got home and then
my girlfriend broke up with me and so I was like hold that was a shitty day she's like we need to talk
and then I like went and changed my underwear and like cleaned up and took a shower and everything and
and then yeah she broke up with me so it was a really shitty day yeah heart goes out to you
because you know like that's a registered halfway through your shower like yeah wait a second
Shards are tough, man.
Sharts are tough.
Sharts are crazy.
I ain't sharded in a while.
Bro, this one I felt was nuts, man.
It's like such an uncomfortable feeling because you're like,
fuck, did I just shit myself?
And then you got to go do like the little check, you know?
Yeah.
And then you see it.
And it's always at the most inconvenient time.
It's never when you're sitting on the couch.
It's always when you're out doing something.
Things are going on.
And then you've got to like 10 man walk around
because you're trying to get it smeared.
Fortunately, I had just left the house.
I honestly.
could not tell you.
It's not like a core memory for me.
It's got,
so it's had to have been a long,
I feel like everybody knows the last time.
Yeah.
2018,
it's been a long time.
It's been a long time.
I was in a city of California and there's this long,
uh,
stairs down to the beach and my wife went down there with our newborn.
We go down and I just try to let out a little fart.
I was getting a little sick and I felt it and I go,
I shit myself,
I have to go.
I go upstairs back up to the house,
clean it up,
whole thing.
I started to get really sick.
I got myself a little GI bug.
Later that night,
watch blackfish and shit the bed.
no way yeah she's something in a different room i've never done that i went to let out of
and it like like it wasn't like it like squirted out of me oh and i looked and it was like yeah it was
that's like michigan's like i was like me city for me she'd yeah taylin's like she could just
hear me upstairs kind of fumbling around like at like two in the morning like jay sharded on the airplane
right here so he did you yeah he's got shirt underwear right now did you get a little shart shy
no i definitely didn't we were late we had to stop at walmart to get no one more
I'm just kidding
I was gonna be like
why did we sit in this too
yeah
go to do this
hey cut the last 45 minutes
of this podcast
it's absolutely nuts
she should sit back there
listening to us
about sharding
yeah
we're not cutting it
they always ask
like I feel like every
like interview
tell us something
that nobody knows about you
I sharded a year ago
that was last chart
like
that's last shart
just keep a counter
the best
I'm like just periodically
post like 175 days
well this one time
I went to that fondu place
was that place
called the melting pot or something okay yeah oh my god i went to a birthday like an 11 year old birthday party
i was 11 too so it's like not weird but like it was for my buddy and i went to a birthday party and then
i got home and do that the melting pot i've never been back because that tore me up too yeah and i feel
like as a kid like if you ever get sick at a place like you're never going back i can't you're never
going back i had that situation with ribs like food point i was like eight and nine i like had ribs like
two times or when I was eating
when I was nine I threw up both times
I was like I'm doing that happened to me with lobster
well dude he the last time since I was eight or nine had it
Jello. Jello really any particular flavor
It was orange I was gonna guess green so do you eat like other color Jello or no
no I haven't really eaten Jello since bro Jellos I guess I get like a jello shot
if you think about it's like oh
Jell is okay dude you know what I's kind of slept on in the same category for me as
pudding I feel like pudding pudding is so fire and I don't want to take it too far but
tapioca pudding
Yes, I was going to say that too
That's all the
Takioki-coying kind of
Yes, dude
Yeah
They have a little bobo or something
He's a very picky eater too
Like he just had his first like salad
Earlier this year
January 8th
Actually
Yeah
Yeah, tenders
pasta
Yeah I've never had a hot dog
A day in my life
No way
Never had a peanut butter and jelly
Never had a fruit or vegetable
Well you've had a fruit
You've had a vegetable
I mean I've had a couple
I've had a banana
So if we all went out to lunch right now, what are you eating?
Chicken fingers?
Probably fries for, yeah, for sure.
Where are we going?
I'm assuming a place that you can eat.
Sounds like,
oh,
is it kids many,
why is there avocado toast?
No kids eating them avocado.
Oh, dude,
you're off on that.
Kids mess with avocado.
It's a new generation, man.
Really?
That's like both my kids,
that's their first meal was avocado.
Pink-Himalayan salt and everything,
or you just give them regular white salt?
Just,
no, we do regular now.
We do regular now.
We got to get to the bottom of this.
Yeah, yeah, go ahead.
Finish that up.
Yeah, I don't know.
I just have always been picky.
So what are your go-toes, like when you go out to just a restaurant?
I'll get, like, I'll eat filet, uh, buffalo chicken rat, pasta.
Okay.
Burger chicken tenders.
That's kind of-
Buffalo chicken with a tortilla.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, just cheese.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
No lettuce, no tomato, no that.
No blue cheese.
Oh, blue cheese.
Yeah, that's a bugaboo can't do that.
I can't stand blue cheese.
Ranch, though.
How do you feel our ranch?
Never had ranch.
Never had.
It's unbelievable on this guy, man.
But I never heard range.
Have you, you ever had a range sweeping force?
Can sauce is pretty fire.
I just start, yeah, it makes me sick though.
You're you a Chick-fil-A guy?
Yeah, that's what I had on the way here.
You get sauce?
Yeah, Buffalo.
I like Buffalo sauce.
There's so much more to live.
And just liking negative comments and Reddit and chicken fingers.
He's got cats in his basement, dude.
I don't have a pulse.
You like grilled cheese?
Yeah, like a little cheese.
Hell yeah, you do.
You've ever had pancakes?
Yeah.
French toast.
Yeah, that's the only breakfast, though.
That and cinnamon rolls.
What about like eggs?
I've never had ham.
Can you do me a favor real quick?
Can you just rank these for me?
Pancakes, Waffles, French toast.
French toast one.
Okay.
I don't know, I guess pancakes too, if they're flavored.
And then Waffles three.
Waffles's just awkward to butter it and everything.
Oh, that's just weird.
Dude, waffles is awesome.
You ever got Waffle at one?
Waffle pancake, French toast.
Waffle, French toast.
French toast pancake.
I can go.
Pancake to me is on the list.
They,
it depends on the day
for me.
I like them all, dude.
I'm a big chocolate milk guy,
yeah.
I'm a chalky milk guy.
Chal the milk rips.
You ever had chocolate milk?
I never had milk.
I never had eggs either
or sausage.
Hang on,
how you grow up,
man?
Yeah.
What's going on here?
That's why he can't do a veg fresh
because he ain't got no protein in them.
You've never had eggs in your life.
How old are you?
Did you say you never had milk?
I mean,
cereal,
but I never like drank milk.
You gotta be fucking with it.
He's fucking with him.
He's gotta be fucking with us.
Oh, dude, that's serious.
You never had, you never drink it out of the bowl?
You never have fruity pebbles, dude, get to the bottom.
Fruitty pebbles are good.
Cinnamon toast crunch milk is so far, right?
So what is your, uh, what is your breakfast?
I don't eat breakfast.
Hell yeah, bro.
He says he was intermittent fast in 24-7, dude.
Have you ever had pizza?
Oh, yeah.
I mean, you can't just run through the wish you have.
That's a good question.
You can't do that.
That would sound like a dumb question
to build into the context of a book.
what we just had to go through.
What kind of pizza you get,
cheese?
Just pepperoni.
Okay.
What's your thought on that?
Well, you've never had it,
but barbecue chicken pizza.
Never had it.
Have you,
Hey, what?
Dude,
it's so gas,
have you been to CPK?
You gotta go no red onions at CPK.
Yeah, I'm with you on that.
I'm with you on that.
Oh, California Pizza Kitchen?
Yeah,
yeah, it's CVK, bro.
Dude, they got a fried avocado egg rolls.
Have you had those?
The appetizer?
So, so gas.
Fire.
And their Southwest Ranch.
What's your favorite?
CPK might be the spot.
What's your favorite restaurant?
What's your favorite restaurant?
Hall's Chop House.
Hall's Chop House.
Charleston?
That one in there's one in Nashville.
It's really good too.
Yeah.
Oh, yeah, there is one here.
Same place.
Yeah.
Hey, you know what?
I just got into oysters.
You guys like oysters?
Yeah, bro.
Can I say, but the last time I had oysters?
Let's hear it.
Two years ago.
Be sharded right after.
Have you realized?
Just bricked up and charred up.
Bro, two years ago.
Was it two years ago?
Yeah, in New Orleans.
Two years ago.
In New Orleans.
Like the first day we get to New Orleans.
And the year before that.
Day one, we get recommended this spot.
Yeah, we got recommended it, right?
Yeah, yeah, they go to this spot.
Oysters, it's amazing.
We go get a butload of oysters.
And you're like an oyster guy, or is this the first time?
No, I've had oysters plenty of times.
I wouldn't consider myself an oyster guy.
We're just like, where should we go?
We would like to get some oysters.
We're in New Orleans.
Yeah, you get the Rockefeller oysters, the ones that are baked with the...
No, baked.
I like a rock.
See, I like those.
I like those.
I also like the raw ones.
We had to rip like four or five podcasts.
Next morning, we're on IVs, bro.
Yeah, we were dying.
And that's actually the last time I had an oyster.
For real.
It's one of those things
I know I'm afraid to get it back on the horse
The rockabellers dude
I mess with that you don't like a little
Artitude little spinach dip
I love spinach dip
No okay so I went to this
Denny Hamlet's charity golf tournament
And there's a guy
Where he'd make these like shot
Like alcoholic shots
And they put an oyster on there
So it'd be like
A Bloody Mary oyster
And you take the shot
And it was like the best thing
I've ever had
It was an oyster
On top of shot class
He had these different contraptions
I don't know about
Just mango habanero sauce and then this like lemon lime kind of shot or like citrusy shot.
And it was the best combination ever.
Have you ever had a seizure before?
I'm not like baking tomato juice.
You're talking like.
It's climato juice.
So I'm not a big, uh, Bloody Mary guy.
I don't like Bloody Mary's either.
I'm not a big Bloody Mary guy, but it looks good when they put all the shit like that.
Yeah, it looks like something I would be.
I kind of want to get a part of that.
You've never heard of Bloody Mary?
Yeah, I know it.
It's like tomato juice.
If you were baking?
Yeah, I had like two years ago.
It's got to be extra crispy though.
Hell yeah, I'm looking on the extra crispy.
I like my shit burnt.
Yeah, rarely.
I rarely get it, but I'll eat it.
I tell you what, dude, I got to see how your childhood played out.
I love to be a fly on the way.
What were your parents feeding you at breakfast time?
Kids cuisine every night.
Oh, dude, kids cuisine is a hitter.
That's a good pull.
That's a good pull.
How many is?
A 34.
36.
See, I'm a little younger, 27, but kids cuisine does it.
Yeah.
You toast or struddle as a kid?
No.
Come on.
No.
Both the cinnamon apple and the egg ones were good too.
Fire.
I like both.
Yeah.
It was more of a Pop-Tar guy.
You never had a fresh or cinnamon Pop-Tor?
You put that.
No, never had.
Yeah.
Never had.
You put the frosting on the Pop-Tart?
It's a game changer.
Oh my God.
It's a game changer.
Because Pop-Tarts for me were never the bell of the ball.
I never got too excited about a pop-tart.
You want a lot of a lot of a cold.
Yeah.
I know, see.
I prefer warm.
You prefer it warm, but like the middle.
It's like that middle bite.
You got one bite in the middle.
Yeah.
Yeah.
All right, we got something here.
And the rest of it's just crust and bullshit.
An uncrossable and uncrustible Pop-Tart would be the move.
You didn't drink milk with your Pop-Tarts.
Right?
Like the crushed.
I never did either.
Yo, it'd be like bite milk.
Like, it didn't matter where.
Like, yeah, the middle bites the best bite.
You never dunked?
You weren't a dunk guy?
No, no, no.
A pop-tart and milk?
I see, I was, I never did it.
To me, you're not, you're not.
You're not, you're not, you're not.
You're not getting enough milk.
You know what I mean?
You dip in and you just still eat it.
Like, I like putting it in there,
and then you just drown them
motherfucker with milk.
Fuck.
Let us swish around
the Oreo ones that came out.
Jamie,
pull the pop-tarts out,
no, please.
I never had those.
From the back.
I had a Pop-Tard.
Yeah, toast or shrewles,
dude,
toast or chutees.
Those are so far.
Cookie dough,
chocolate chip cookie dough.
I like that,
I like the ice cream Sunday ones.
The,
they had like,
uh,
sprinkles on it.
Was it small ones?
No,
it was like.
At the strawberry?
Look up ice cream Sunday,
right there.
Hot Fudge Sunday.
Hot Fudge Sunday.
It's so fire.
You ever have that.
Good. No, I haven't had those.
That's past my problem.
That's, I was the OG boys.
Boys, we're going to have to run this back
and everybody gets to bring in, like, childhood snacks.
And we just all eat childhood snacks.
Before we get out of here, though, I want to know your friends.
I'm not going to.
Chase, yeah, Chase is going to bring air, dude.
Dino nuggets.
Now, were you like Debbie, like, little Debbie's,
Swiss rolls, Star Crunch?
What's your vice?
What's your dessert?
Opeel cream pies.
I love a lava cake with extra ice cream, yeah.
Ooh, the molten lava cake from Chili's is gas.
The baladi from Applebee.
Really?
Yeah.
A little chocolate news.
Have you ever had the four cheese,
mac and cheese with the honey chicken fingers from Applebee's?
Uh-uh.
It's my go to there.
I've been to Applebee's in a while either.
Take what we need to do.
We need to go to Vegas,
then immediately take a plane to Arizona and go to Zips.
What Zips?
Can I hear about Zips?
Pull it up.
Jamie, pull that up.
After the Sode.
Sips?
So if I was on death row, buddy,
this is what I would go to this place right here.
Yeah, I want to hear final moves.
Can we talk about final meals?
Because I got a place too for you guys.
In Vegas, too.
Is it actually?
It's too for me to decide.
That's okay.
I already got this.
So this place in Zips, there's like, they have 12 locations, but there's like three you really need to go to to get the full experience.
Oh my gosh.
Pull up this picture.
On that corner right there.
Yeah, yeah, right there.
Yeah.
Yeah.
No, that's not the place.
Sorry.
Think about raw sushi?
I don't know.
We went on a bachelor trip for my buddy Zane, my teammate Zane.
And we went to this place.
I think that is.
Well, that, I think that is the one in old.
Town Scottsdale, which is probably in an old town.
Yeah.
But you're gonna get the Monaco Faccia.
Okay, it's like a thick dough.
It's like a thick burrito dough.
Yeah, Faccacia is so far.
Yeah.
Chicken melted cheese.
It comes with a jalapeno dipping sauce.
It's sweet and with a little tang of heat in there.
Half and half onion rings and french fries.
You're gonna extra jalapeno dip and sauce.
Then you're gonna look at the waitress and say, I need golden, medium wings, extra
spicy, extra saucy.
Buddy, my mouth is watering right now.
Just telling you about it, Chase.
You're gonna have that, a lot of extra ranch on that.
I know you don't, that doesn't really deuce to you.
Bownless, not, I don't really like
Jay P would lose his mind here in that
Hey, what's the craziest thing you've ever eaten in a race car?
Bribe, proud wings.
Bowness wings?
Yeah.
Mid-race?
Yeah.
Dude, that's crazy.
What's your sauce?
Buffalo.
Okay, so...
Buffalo wings mid-race is crazy bull.
Hey, real quick, guys, I wasn't finished.
Oh, sorry.
You guys, cool, get back at it.
Yeah.
After you have that, you're going to have the Pizuki.
Okay, that is a half-cooked cookie skillet,
multiple scoops of ice cream on top of that.
I know that'll head home for you.
And now you're in.
That's the meal, dude.
That's the meal.
10,000 cows are going to be living the absolute dream.
It is unbelievable.
Sounds pretty good,
honestly.
Yeah, it's pretty all time.
You'd have to go into some uncomfortable territory to try it.
The wing part would be the only one.
That'd be the one that I'd be a little hesitant about.
Yeah, that looks so fire.
A bazook is so fire.
Dude, it's unbelievable.
Oh, God.
So that's your final meal.
Would you get anything else?
What, like, drink?
No, bullet to the head right?
after that. Game's over.
Really? Yeah, yeah, we're solid.
Damn. Put me to sleep, kid.
You like Thai food? Do you like Thai food?
I miss a die. I miss a Thai. Okay, we're in Vegas. I'm taking it. It's called La Tye.
It's down on Fremont Street. It's the best Thai food you'll ever have in your Thai life.
The fried rice. I like to go, I mean, we travel around all the,
have you had the Thai spot in Red Rock?
Which place? Oh, yeah.
Lotus of Siam. No, it's not Lois. Is it?
Yeah, it's Lotus. That to me is like, sort of the best I've ever had in my life.
But I would love to. I tell you,
La Tai blows this place.
We're going.
I'll take you guys.
I'm in, dude.
I'm in.
Look up Latai.
L-E.
That's Lotus right there.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Is it inside of a hotel?
Latai.
No, no, it's just on Fremont Street.
That's the outside right there.
It's got like a little walk-up.
Bro.
A lot of Lashu.
There's always a weight.
Dollar minimums.
You've been there?
Oh.
Pull up the fried rice.
The short-ripped fried rice is so good there.
That's their signature dish.
It's so good.
Some Thai basil.
Chase, if we came to your house and you had to cook for us, dude,
what are you making us?
His wife is making it.
Yeah, my wife's cooking.
You clearly are cooking for kids.
I can cook.
I can cook flays.
That's about it.
Yeah?
Yeah, that's about it.
How do you like your filet?
I used to be a well done guy.
Now I'm medium well.
You are fucking crazy, man.
I'm with that, dude.
I'm with a little more of a cooked steak.
Yeah, I like it's like keep it mooing.
I'm like, no, dude.
Yeah, I mean, I can eat it.
He just said, well done.
I wouldn't even mind that.
Oh, you're really?
You're like, I'm more on that side than the raw side.
Yeah, I can do medium.
I've done like medium herb before, but I just, I don't have the texture of it grosses me out.
The flavor is definitely better though, but the chewiness, I don't know, it gets me.
So you think like a steak is like the best meal ever?
Like, I think a steak house steak dinner is like the most overrated thing ever.
Oh, that Hall's Chop House for a day of me.
Those wings in Pizuki sound 10 times better than a steak and potato.
Well, they are.
That's without a doubt.
It just depends.
It's a new quarter.
Sometimes you go to these steak houses and their at menus and crate is incredible.
Yeah, the absolute steakhouse house.
I'm like five apps every time I go to dinner.
Yeah, same.
I love ordering apps.
Because you write about the steak.
It's not like you're gonna get some world-class taste
that you'd never had before.
You guys like French onion soup?
I'd more get a bisque.
Yeah, fuck that French onion soup.
Dude, I'm a clam chowder guy through and through.
Chase, you have clavchedore before?
No, I've had tomato soup like two years ago for the first time.
Dude, it sounds like two years ago.
What'd you think?
What do you think?
Yeah, that's good.
Catch up?
Good.
Good combo.
Yeah, I'll do catch up.
The ranch thing is crazy.
crazy though crazy hey hit him with your chili thing it'll blow his fucking mind do you like chili
i'm not right chili oh shit that's fucking insane uh i take uh peanut butter sandwiches and i dip it in chili
really yeah gas that'd be good to try i feel like i've never had it he's been talking i've known
him for like you can't it's kind of like stuff like that you can't really shit on it's like
the flavors are so different that it kind of works you know yeah it's good man my my uh my i'm like
she was my girlfriend at the time she wanted to like she wanted to like surf into her for like
make a dinner for me and I just requested.
I was like, I was like I would love some chili and peanut butter sandwiches.
And enough chili to wear like last year for the week.
So I love some chili and peanut butter sandwiches.
Chili.
I've been doing pickles on a peanut butter and jelly.
Pickle butter and jelly sandwiches.
No bullshit.
And it's really good.
A pickle with peanut butter and jelly?
It sounds like shit.
It's one of those things where it's like sweet and salty.
Yeah, yeah, exactly.
Like a maple bacon donut or something.
You know what I mean?
Like it's two opposites, but it kind of works.
Yeah, I know.
We're supposed to end this.
podcast, but do they said the bacon thing?
Bacon shakes, if you had those at Denny's?
No, but go to Five Guys, and
they have a bacon, it's like vanilla milk shake
with bacon bits in it? Greatest thing
ever. Does Denny's have?
Denny's used to have a, like,
they'd do like a month where it'd be like the bacon shake.
Oh, bro. They just shut the Denny's
down by where my house is, so I'm
gonna have to go somewhere else. Also, Popeyes.
I would get Popeyes if I was on
on death row. I love Popeye.
Hold on. Your death roomio's Popeyes?
Lettai, fried rice.
Popize.
is so far
You don't like Popeyes
No I like Popeyes
You just when you said death row
Popeyes I'm like yeah
That's a bold call
That's so fire
It's so fire
It's good
I love Popeyes
I love
Love that trick around
Popeyes
Buddy
I don't know about that
If I'm going fast food
I'm going Sonic right
What
Sonic
Sonic
What?
If you don't like
Talk about a CrunchRats Supreme
No tomatoes
It's a cruncher
Hit me
It goes hard now
Best Fast Food Burger
What's yours
Oh best fast food burger
Waterburger.
I'm super in.
They got one out here now.
I know.
No, Waterberg is Charlotte too.
Trash.
Oh, Texas hates you just like that.
Waterburg is the whole state of Texas.
Water burgers ate.
It's not trash, but it's definitely not what people talk.
It's definitely not the height.
It's definitely not the height.
I love Waterberg.
I'm super into a smash burger right now.
I love smash burger.
So like steak and shake has a pretty good burger.
Steak and shake is.
I usually get the friscoe milk that's steak and it's slept on.
What's your favorite?
It's a ounce.
My,
by number one burger of all time.
And in and out, it's consistent.
It's consistent.
It's good.
It's delicious.
It's fresher.
Is five guys counted as fast food?
It's fast.
Yeah,
you just have to take out of mortgage payment to go together.
I Uber each five guys last night.
Talk about doubling down on the mortgage payment.
You're getting the hammered by the Uber eats, you know, fee.
And then you're getting the expensive ass five guys where it's like 15 bucks for a burger.
Yeah.
You guys made like 120 bucks for two people.
It hit pretty good.
Yeah.
It hit pretty good.
Pager fries too.
The fries are nice.
What kind of fries do you like?
That's your in and out loses.
In and out loses the race when it comes to fries.
Yeah, fries are good.
The problem with all fries is you got to eat them right there when they're hot.
If they get, there's no shelf life on it.
Hey, but just on the Uber Eats thing, bro, have you noticed that when you put the tip in?
It's like, you go to the 17% and it's like $8, but the order was $21.
Yes.
That happened to me two day.
And then you get charged the service fee, which I didn't know.
So I'm like, oh, it's like $25 and then it's another like $7.
Yeah.
And somehow it's like $52.
I'm like just not adding up.
And then I look at like what you get dinged for everything.
Then you get $4.99 for a priority because I'm always getting the priority.
Gotta do the priority.
Yeah, like you said, $50 plus.
Yeah, you don't want your meal traveling around the whole city.
It's got to come right to you right away.
So here's a funny story.
My buddy Layton, he used to drive like during COVID or right before COVID.
He lost his job and he was doing Uber Eats and like DoorDash.
He would eat fries on the way to deliver.
the fries to people's houses.
You know, that is full.
I beat you.
Yeah.
That's why they staple it now.
Yes.
They staple it.
That's why they package it up.
Yes.
Staple it.
They put the stickers on there, not tamper with.
He was eating the food on the way.
He would grab a fry or two.
Bojangles fry.
I don't,
I'm not as well versed on Bojangler.
Oh, yeah.
No, Bojangles is lucky trash.
I like Bojangles.
Hold on now.
Bojangles has got some good stuff.
Yeah, if you like Cajian, Bojang is good.
Dude, if you, if you have any bad fast food.
I'm not amazing.
I'm not a Burger King guy.
You're not a Big Donald King?
Hey, I'm with you.
Like, when's the last time
anyone's like, yo, let's go to Burger King.
No, never.
Nobody's ever done that.
Not once, right?
Chicken fries is low-key back.
Oh, bro, I had, I was at junior motorsports
the other day to go see my, I had a bet
on Golden Knights and Hurricanes,
my old engineer and
the Golden Knights, obviously won game one.
So he had to take me to lunch and they had
some curly fries in the lobby because they're sponsored
by Arby's.
Have you guys?
fries are good.
Arby's curly fries.
Of course,
dude.
It's so gas.
You know what,
do?
Have you?
Arby's hits so,
like the roast beef,
bacon and cheese one,
that hits,
their milkshicks are good.
But once I learn
that their meat is made,
it's stirred.
It's liquid.
It comes in liquid
and they stir it.
No, it is not.
Yes, dude.
No, it is not.
100%,
allegedly.
I have to say that
for legal reasons.
But I used,
they stir it to make it.
And that's what I was
like, I can't have Arby's.
I can't eat Arby's.
They stir what?
They're,
their meat comes in a bag of like a liquid and they stir it until it gets thicker and it becomes
a meat and that's what the roast beef there's no way no buddy i'm telling you no that's a cro
no it might be like suflayed where it's like it's in a bag of like boiling they put it in hot water
to like cook it no dude like suflane so you're saying that right there that there's no what is this
contraption that shit looks unbelievable chicken something something chicken ham something
Something, bacon, roast beef.
Yeah, what is that?
Capoeola or something in there, dude.
Talk about 10,000 calories.
No fucking doubt.
There was one right by the Titans facility, an Arbis,
and you get a little sneaky day, huh?
Have a hard day at the office.
Go pull in there real quick, grab some curly fries.
Like, that's, that's me.
That's me right there.
Hell yeah, dude.
Hey, on your, on your, on your Sonic take, though,
I do feel like Sonic is vastly underrated.
The drinks from Sonic.
That's what I'm saying.
The cherry line made.
A variety.
The parrot slush as a kid.
Yeah.
The chili cheese,
Frito's junior rap is so of gas, too.
Have you ever had that?
I used to go to Sonic every day after school.
No shit.
When I was little.
Yeah.
They've got the best grilled cheese.
Yeah, bro.
It's so good.
And their burger is such an awesome bull by here.
Sonic's never in the conversation of the elites.
But I feel like no matter what, you can always just like,
you're never mad going to Sonic.
Never.
Because you get,
you,
uh,
a tail's oldest time as the four,
you're sitting with your boys hanging out and say,
hey, we should get some food.
Everyone goes, looks at the apps for a little bit.
They're like, hey, one guy's, I was like,
there's a son like a mile and a half away.
And so I was like, oh, shit, let's just go get that.
That's awesome.
Yeah.
And it's all, and you're never upset.
Low key, Sonic is nice.
Yeah.
Yeah, I got one that he'll agree on.
You guys will be surprised.
Panda Express.
Oh, buddy.
Isn't there?
That's, Panxas out there.
Oh, that surprise is here.
Yes.
That's a surprise.
Literally in the middle of Dayton 500, my rookie year.
We had a rain delay.
I went to Panda.
It was on Sports Center.
It was on Good Morning America.
hungry and it was going to be like two hours so we went back green so yeah I rolled
up to the drive-thru in the middle of the race no shit yeah they sent me a $50 gift card I feel like
that's it yeah I was like three million views guess we did he gave it to his team guys for
his gift he did a good callback he put it in the yeti Mitch is giving a thousand thumbs up he's
made a couple of comments let's let's end this thing let's shut it down that's so sick dude
got the rac suit tucked down rain delays
And let's get the boys a round of applause for being on race with the boys.
Let's go, baby.
