Starting point is 00:00:00 This is an I-Heart podcast. Guaranteed Human. Hey, guys, it's us. The Jonas Brothers. I'm Joe. I'm Kevin. And I'm Nick. And guess what? We created our own podcast called, Hey, Jonas.
Starting point is 00:00:12 We invented a podcast? Well, we didn't invent it. We just contributed to it. We're the first people to do podcasts. We get to ask other people questions because we're sick and tired of being asked questions. Well, sick and tired is a strong way to put it. But, you know, tired and sick. Tired and sick.
Starting point is 00:00:26 Listen to Hey Jonas on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you. you get your podcast. Just listen. We don't care where you hear it. Winning on Clay is an art. The rallies are relentless. And at the French Open, only the toughest survive. I'd know.
Starting point is 00:00:40 I competed there for decades. Join me, Renee Stubbs, on the Renee Stubbs' tennis podcast for no-nonsense breakdowns of the biggest matches, the toughest players, and the moments that define Roland Garris. She's an outsider to win the French for me. And she likes Clay. Listen, Lina Rubakina is arguably the best player in the world right now. And I actually can win on any surface.
Starting point is 00:01:00 Listen to the Renee Stubbs tennis podcasts on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts or wherever you get your podcasts. Presented by Capital One, founding partner of IHeart Women's Sports. Imagine an Olympics where doping is not only legal but encouraged. It's the enhanced games. Some call it grotesque. Others say it's unleashing human potential. Either way, the podcast's Superhuman documented it all, embedded in the games and with the athletes for a full year. Within probably 10 days, I'd put on 10.
Starting point is 00:01:30 pounds. I was having trouble stopping the muscle growth. Listen to Superhuman on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. Ladies gentlemen, welcome to the first episode of the locker room of this season. We are going over the NFL

Starting point is 00:04:52 support in Massachusetts or call 1877-8-Hope-N-Y or text Hope NY in New York. Boys, we got the squad back together. And for real, all year long, got Clay Matthews. Yes, sir. Had the bargain with him.
Starting point is 00:05:09 He wanted a new house. Yeah. Private jets. Private jets. Fine wine. Once Portnoy opened his mouth, you're damn right, I came back in-more. That's fair. Hey, but listen. We had to recruit, we had to host him on in-home visits at my house at Taylor's house. We had to roll out the red carpet.
Starting point is 00:05:27 Well had a big tattoo that said Matthews on a shoulder, but this is how much I'm bought in. I was showing him my special team game trophies like, hey, this is what we collect when you join the boys. This is what we collect. A special thing. You come into a winning program. No, I appreciate it. In all seriousness, though, I am excited. I'm fired up.
Starting point is 00:05:43 You think of guys like Sam Darnold to the Seahawks, Gino Smith to the Raiders, but Clay Matthews to the boys, biggest off-season free agent acquisition. So that being said, we got an open locker here. So I brought a few, you know, a few items of mine just to, you know,
Starting point is 00:05:59 just to fill the locker out. Okay, hold on. So, you know, I come to work. So I got the helmet, you know. This is a real one, too. That's a real one. That's the real one. Hey, that's when he was dumb.
Starting point is 00:06:11 That's what he was. You never, never. It will. We were cool. Hey, I got the, you know, the custom cleats. Ooh, they're the name tag. Yeah. You got the name tag.
Starting point is 00:06:23 Cool stuff, cool stuff. But it's not just about me. It's about the boys, too. And I'm thinking about you guys. And Will, I know you're a big fan of these guys. You know, you're kind of a deviant too. You talk about your escapades when you're by yourself. So I brought you a little alone material.
Starting point is 00:06:39 It's the 2009 band of brother sports illustration. Sports Illustrated with your boys Cushing and Mowaluga. I know you're huge. Compton 6th to midnight right now. This is sick. The only, like, I am very appreciative of this, but knowing that you're Clay Matthews and you are on this, I do feel like I should have all three signatures.
Starting point is 00:06:59 Yeah. That would truly make my young 2004 self. No, we can do that. Classic constant. Get to present. I know. I hate doing it. Gets a present.
Starting point is 00:07:08 He's like, but I would also like this. My birthday is September 19th that's coming up. Just so he hit, just hand it back to him. Be like, hey, thank you very much. Did you take this out the trophy case? It's so crisp. Oh, you know my mom bought like she went to Barnes and Noble. It was about 20.
Starting point is 00:07:21 Hey, this is fine. I was going through the boxes. Delaney, I know it's tough working with Will and Taylor every day. Sometimes you might need a drink. So I got you a Clay Matthews. Oh, yeah. Rock to you. You know, we got Bud Light.
Starting point is 00:07:33 Hey, but, but always drink responsibly. We understand that. But let's say you skip breakfast, but you need a few beers on a job. Hey, Lucy's, Lucy's are a thing in the past. Okay. but you know what's in. Hey, 2010 Wheaties fuel.
Starting point is 00:07:48 The sugar in here is greater than any nicotine pouch will give you, all right? So that's yours over there, okay? Nice. Bull box. You're signing this. Now, Taylor, you're on. Hey, Taylin reached out to me this off season. She said, hey, I'm really worried about Taylor.
Starting point is 00:08:02 He's gone all the time. He's playing grab ass with Dana. Hey, no, this is what she said. This is, I wouldn't lie. This is what she said. You know, when the girls are upset, They're sad, okay? They cry themselves to sleep, so I got them a plush doll that they can sleep with at home.
Starting point is 00:08:18 So they don't have to be scared anymore. God bless. That is, you might have fixed me. Oh, it's not over. It's not over. No. Speaking of girls, you know, girl down here will, you know, I know you're a busy man too. And I just want your girls to grow up and just look at what a real linebacker looks like.
Starting point is 00:08:36 And that's a hundred piece Clay Matthews puzzle. Oh. We're going to have a lot of questions for you. You know, so, yeah, I just, I'm just bringing gifts. And you know it's going to do it's 100 pieces any more than that. I got two more things. Okay, so we're going back to the USC days right here, number 47. You see that Rose Bowl patch?
Starting point is 00:08:55 Mm-hmm. So I just add a little bit of color. But this was the 2007 Rose Bowl game. Any idea who played the Trojans in this game? Illinois. The Michigan Wolverines. Hey. Sorry, that was 08.
Starting point is 00:09:08 They lost. Cushing, defensive MVP, Dwayne Jarrett, offensive MVP, both from Jersey. Jersey. This will look great in the locker right there. Sorry. It's just it's part of the show. It's part of the show. I also sure. Sherm or anybody with, uh, anybody want to build out the locker. Hey, I don't want to rip the cord. Yeah, get, get Sherm. Get Sherm. Get Sherm. Oh, he's got more. Oh, he's got more. It's not over. Last thing. Last thing. I don't want to make this all about me. I'm about the boys. Okay. Now this, I needed a jersey. You know, we got Delaney's jersees and you boys. But this is 2015 NFC wildcard victory.
Starting point is 00:09:42 Captain Patch right here, authentic. Any ideas who the Packers beat this game? I'm going to guess the San Francisco 49. No, the Redskins. The Redskins. The Redskins. Oh, 2015. The Commander.
Starting point is 00:09:55 He was in the game. Wait, wait, what? This is playoff. Playoff really was no more. And so thank you for bringing me in. These are all random. I didn't think about these at all. I just kind of picked stuff out.
Starting point is 00:10:08 And, you know, I'm happy. No, that's an awesome jersey. You had four tackles in that game as the middle lineback. how many sacks? One and a half? That's like 10 tackles in the song. How many you do that? That's like a hit tackles in the zone. You had 10?
Starting point is 00:10:18 10. 10? 10. Buddy, you got me leaking early. That was good. That was fucking awesome. Who played that game? I'm going to guess the Niners?
Starting point is 00:10:30 You played in that game. No, that was you. Yeah. Hey, what an introduction of the season. We're bringing it to shit. Absolutely incredible. That was incredible. You've heard out there's man more prepared for the show
Starting point is 00:10:41 Right here. Clay Matthews per Jeremy Clump, boys. We got a hell of a slate. That was clear. AFC picks, NFC picks, champions, MVP's, we're building together parlayes. It's going to be an amazing year. Not to bring it back to Clay,
Starting point is 00:10:54 but Clay did win a Super Bowl. And since in the theme of we're picking a Super Bowl champion, we'll probably be talking about the Eagles a lot, what is the mentality of winning the Super Bowl and having big expectations going into the next year? Well, I can speak from experience as, you know, obviously winning the Super Bowl in 2010. And, you know, we were the sixth seed, and we got hot.
Starting point is 00:11:14 That's how it is. It's the hottest team at the end of the year. We weren't the best team. We were the hottest team. Went on to win. 2011 rolls around, start off like gangbusters, be the saints. We go 15 and 1 all the way, first round by. Then we play the Giants in the divisional round.
Starting point is 00:11:30 They have like the 27th ranked defense. We fall flat on our face. They got out there, A-Rod in our offense. Who are those boys on the, who were those pass rushers? back in the day. OCEU Miniora, Justin Tuss and Strayhan. Strayhan.
Starting point is 00:11:45 No, I don't think Strayhan was, was retired after the Super Bowl, right? Is that one, is that when the Giants were like the bottom seat? Oh, no, he went on that. No, that's, I think they wanted that year. That was when they beat. That John, they beat us.
Starting point is 00:11:56 They beat the 49, well, they beat the Patriots. Yeah, right, the undefeated Patriots, right? Yeah, because we played them. We played them next. They whipped us and then beat the Patriots. Yeah. So, did you ever get a Super Bowl? We lost the Super Bowl.
Starting point is 00:12:10 He was in the Super Bowl with a light's cut out. And they read it back. Yeah, 2012 Super Bowl, Baltimore versus San Francisco 49ers. What year was that? 2012. You also played the Packers that year in the playoffs. Yeah, we are. Wasn't there a tackle that you broke, like a big time tackle against the Packer?
Starting point is 00:12:26 Yeah, yeah, definitely. I broke one on you, 2000. 2012, yeah, yeah. Yeah, it's the NFL. We all get got play. We all get gone. I don't think it was the main need that was beating us. I think it was more Kaepernick.
Starting point is 00:12:40 It was Kaepernick. No, definitely. I had just a little role in that game. Cap did that all. It takes a team. Yeah, it takes a team, though. You can't be great by yourself. Yeah, thoughts of players of Kaepernick.
Starting point is 00:12:51 I know he's still trying to make it to the NFL. So we'll see how that works out for him. Very selfless. Yeah, you know, I was just a team player, special teams, all around the type of guy. When were you rocking, 46? 46. Delaney, was wild as how you were like the blocking tight. I was.
Starting point is 00:13:07 Vernon was. was the receiving and you always ran 12 personnel and I was either matched up and I always knew when I was going against Delaney like I had to you know what I'm saying I strap up a little bit but uh burning wasn't really interested he was getting the receiving yards but then you go to Tennessee and they switched the road yeah because we had Craig Stevenson so Craig was the blocker when I got in I knew I could out block him that dude was he was basically an office of lineman yeah 260 pound yeah ox so they was like look you're not going he's going to block you won't probably be in no run plays. I'm like, okay, I'm fine with that.
Starting point is 00:13:39 Let's go. Quick story about Delaney, man, when I first got there, he would always be walking around in the backfield, not doing reps, but just talking about how, all y'all, y'all ass at blocking. I can block anybody. I'm thinking, this motherfucker, he just catches it. Like, he's a great football player, obviously. And I literally, I think, like, one day
Starting point is 00:13:55 I went and watched some film. Like, one of the coaches had, like, your special teams and you're blocking, I'm like, where the fuck is this? Like, why isn't he blocking? But you were also getting triple coverage? Yeah, but they wouldn't. We had zero threats. I mean. And he got paid. He didn't have He got paid and they're like, you don't worry about the block.
Starting point is 00:14:10 But he was like, we don't want them in the game blocking. Because the first year I got there, I almost got hurt blocking. Somebody, like, ran up on me and I twist my ankle. And they was like, you're the best player we got. You are never going back in there. There worse. There was. There was.
Starting point is 00:14:24 There was. At the end of the team meeting. Delaney is the only player we have here. You're not blocking anymore. I mean, you know, you know they said that. 82's in bird, bird. Yeah. And then you still can't stop me.
Starting point is 00:14:36 What are we going to do this every time? I'm just saying. Everybody understands, like, we played each other one time, and you had, what, 15 yards total in that game. We beat you. Willie C. covered you, blanket covered. Okay, what Kendall right half? I want to say the headline was.
Starting point is 00:14:49 What kind of right half? Compton and Co. Locked and Co. And Co. There you go. And Co. Yeah, it took three. That's a headline from a Bontair, Missouri.
Starting point is 00:15:00 Newspaper for sure in high school. For sure. Boys, let's get to some future picks. Should we start in the AFC East? Yeah. Yeah, let's just start in the A&S. We can start wherever we want. Yeah, we can start wherever we want.
Starting point is 00:15:13 It's a lot. I like the bills. Obviously, I think the bill is here. At some point in Josh Allen's career, he has to get over the hump of Patrick Mahomes and these other quarterbacks and make it to the next step. We will talk about the Super Bowl in a little bit.
Starting point is 00:15:26 Going to Rochester, watching the bills, seeing how they operated, watching Josh Allen from every single arm angle. Like, I think he missed two throws the entire day and one of them was a drop. He's got the moxies, he's got the bravado, he's got the attitude. You get some additions like Joey Bosa back on, you kind of switch him and Von Miller out. Tredavius White comes in there. Only concern I have for the bills is Elijah Moore. You get him former second round pick. He goes, they're talking about how excited they are about Elijah Moore.
Starting point is 00:15:55 This guy's going to be the weapon, the speed that they needed the bills. Now there's a couple articles that came out, I believe it was yesterday that Elijah Moore is having a tough, tough camp. he might be a cut candidate and might not even make the 53-man roster. Insert the possibility of Gabe Davis. His best years were at the bills. I got an opportunity to talk to him. We're at UFC. Hang it out with Dana White.
Starting point is 00:16:16 And he popped by. He's like, I think I'm going with a bills. I think that's what's going to happen for me. If he's able to go there, I think Josh Allen has all the tools, and they repeat again, the AFC East. I feel like the only question mark is the wide receiver room. Yeah. It's a, you got Coleman.
Starting point is 00:16:30 Josh Palmer. Josh Palmer. And who? Calillo Shakir? Yes, Shakir. I think that's really the only question mark, because I got the bills taking the East too. I do think the Patriots have a little dark course shot.
Starting point is 00:16:42 I think they make it interesting. Obviously, Vrabel, it's a new regime, everything else, but I think Drake May in his second year, I think they got a lot of weapons. I think they're healthy right now. We were out there at Patriot training camp. They feel good about everything, but you know, like, Vrabel, they're going to have some good culture wins in the first year. They could be a dark core shot because they don't have two, two.
Starting point is 00:17:03 tough of his schedule and looking at all 32 teams. Very easy schedule. But that would be my only thing against the bills is what is their receiver room going to, how is the receiver room going to produce with Josh Allen? He, I mean, Josh Allen is a superhero. But another quick, if we're staying on the, the category of like what had the bills up against him, it's their passing defense last year wasn't. But they were very unhealthy.
Starting point is 00:17:25 Very unhealthy. It's kind of been that way the last couple of years. Matt Milano, he's coming back from a leg injury. You bring Joey Bosen. He's having a new shot of life from coming from the charger. Yeah, yeah. It's like you're hoping that the defense understands what's at stake when you have a guy like Josh Allen with the opportunity to win a Super Bowl.
Starting point is 00:17:41 Every single year, it's the Bills, play the Chiefs in the regular season. Whoever wins that game, losing the playoffs. And Josh Allen has always kind of won that regular season game and lost in that playoff game. So it's time for them to make that step. I do like the Patriots maybe taking second in there, making it a little bit interesting with the Bills. I think when it comes to just the talent of both teams, the bills have that more cover than the Patriots.
Starting point is 00:18:04 From a game plan standpoint, from a keys to victory, we've been in that locker room, we understand that Braves to have those guys dialed in every single time. I just don't think they're there from a personnel standpoint just yet. Well, that's why I'm going with the Patriots, and it's funny you say the personnel. You go with Patriots to win the division? The division.
Starting point is 00:18:20 I am taking the Patriots to win the division. Like you said, a dark horse. I feel like those guys is going to step up, especially with Mike Brable. Again, we all know Mike Brable. We know how fast he can turn the program around just with his mindset of the defensive mindset, the culture he brings, the leadership that he brings, he played the game, he understands he now to take care of the players, the older players, give them time off, wrestle them so they're ready to go in the game. But I'm going to talk about them and I having the pieces.
Starting point is 00:18:47 Well, they have a lot of cap flexibility. That's the big thing right now. You know how Brable likes to go and find players that he can use during the season. And if they have cap room, we can bring in anybody. The sky is the limit. But they're helping them out, Drake May out, by bringing in an all-pro receiver and Stefan Diggs. That's going to help him out being his safety blanket, throwing him to ball, getting him going.
Starting point is 00:19:08 They also have a young running back that's going to be crisp. What's his name? Trayvian. Trayvian Henderson. Ohio State buddy, some of the clips you've seen coming out of camp. It's crazy. Dusting. Dusting cats.
Starting point is 00:19:19 Him in the Red Zone one-on-ones. Nuking cats. Even in team reps, like you can see just in the Red Zone periods. Not going to put too much out there. but he's going to be a weapon out of the back. He is going to be a way. And you know Vrable likes to run the ball. We all know that.
Starting point is 00:19:32 Get us going by running the ball. And then we'll do some play action, get some guys down the field. But again, they do have an easy schedule. I feel like the Patriots can sneak in there and take the division. Listen, you talk about the salary cap, but it's like that salary cap's already kind of done for this year.
Starting point is 00:19:48 Stefan Diggs is an all pro player. He's a guy that we all look at. He's got the name recognition, but he's coming off of an ACL. And he's had a couple of tough years since he's left the bills, a couple of years ago. Then you got the fourth overall pick. Campbell, who's playing left tackle for them.
Starting point is 00:20:02 He's got people hate on the shorter arms and all that. I think everyone's happy with what he is. He's a gritty, tough-nosed guy that's going to battle it out, week-in and week-out. You're not going to have to worry from an injury standpoint from him in toughness. But it's like there's always going to be the learning curve. You're going to come across these aliens week-in and week out. And being a rookie starter left tackle,
Starting point is 00:20:20 there's going to be some growing pains that they're going to have to gain plan for to make sure that he's taken care of when you get into those late October, November, games. So there's a lot of things working against them. Their coaching staff's outstanding. They have players. I just think the bills have a little more grasp on the East, especially for this year. You got, Clay. I mean, I'm just deferring to you guys, having gone to camp, haven't been with Vrable, I understand the pages, but I think what you're saying, Taylor, is I think they're just, you know, the cream of the crop right now. Like last five, you know, AFC East, bills ran it. I think they're going to do it again. I think with Josh Allen at the helm, you know, like you had said,
Starting point is 00:20:54 Bosa coming in and switching him with Vaughn. Like, I just think they're too good. I don't think anybody else in that division presents a problem. Patriots on their way up, obviously. But I just think this year, 2025 is the bills. Yeah, until you tell me otherwise, it's the bill. And none of us are even mentioned the dolphins either. I think they're the most disappointing throughout the offseason.
Starting point is 00:21:14 Yeah. When McDaniels comes in, I want to say the excitement was there because he's coming from this regime of that young tree out there of Shanahan, McVe, LaFleur, like they've all. like they've all worked together. He's bringing this over to Miami that first year they had. A lot of the creativity is on offense. He is super creative. He's going to continue to be creative.
Starting point is 00:21:32 He's got a lot of weapons. He's got a lot of aliens. But you just see on the outside looking in all the internal stuff that's kind of went on, the separation with Tua, the stuff in the media with Tua and Tyree Kill. Right. Tyree. Them publicly talking about it. Players being vocal about practice to the reporters to where now the reporters are
Starting point is 00:21:52 asking McDaniels. And it's not like he. He's got a stature and laying the law down on what practice is going to be like, hey, this is our culture, everything else. He kind of just kind of rolls with the punches. I just, I don't know if a respect meter has gone down there. Again, I'm not in the weeds that much. I just see what comes across my timeline.
Starting point is 00:22:09 And I feel like that's been what's been disappointing with the Miami Dolphins. Because it felt like, especially a couple years ago, they were a team that could compete or be on the rise with the creativity McDaniels coming in. It feels like I think the dolphins are going to be lasting division. I think Aaron Glenn's going to bring some cool. culture wins and establish something with the Jets. I don't think the Jets are going to be, you know, the number two team in the AFC East, but I think Aaron Glenn and the staff he brought over with them from
Starting point is 00:22:33 Detroit, I think they're going to be a little surprising this year because they have a, they have a great, they have players on defense. They got some weapons on offense. But that's kind of how I see the AFC East. I was, I was hanging in there with you until you said the Jets being above the dolphins. I think McDaniels is just, he's too creative on the opposite side of the ball. You still have two. You still have Tyree Kill.
Starting point is 00:22:53 You're missing. entire secondary from the year prior getting Jalen Ramsey, guys getting injured, jailing Ramsey goes to the Steelers. But like the Jets are a franchise and they have an amazing fan base. However, I'm officially in a show me, don't tell me. Because every single time they have a new coaching staff come in with this regime from this, this team that won a bunch. They had a great culture.
Starting point is 00:23:14 They're going to steal a culture. It just never shows up. And so like I need to see something before I say something. Yeah. The only thing with Miami scares me is Tua, man. If Tua is not healthy, if he gets hurt, take another concussion. He did better last year.
Starting point is 00:23:26 We saw what the dolphins can do without him. They can't win a game. So without him, they're in trouble. So if this man take a hit on his noggin again, where are they? But also it's like talking about how important culture is. Like if you're going to be a team known, a team that's known for creativity and strategy,
Starting point is 00:23:46 I'm not going to say like being cute, but McDaniel's like if a strategy or something doesn't work one week and this is the feeling you get, of the players and how they, the respect meter with the head coach or what goes on in the media when everything kind of goes to shit or doesn't go well one week, that affects the rest of the season. Yeah. Whereas you're going to have, you were talking to it earlier, like Brable turned around an organization
Starting point is 00:24:08 and his leadership and everything else and like diving into that. There's a team meeting that happens every morning to where Vrable paint you keys of success in offense, defense, and special teams and paint you a picture of how you're going to win the football game. Paint you a picture through practice reps. paint you a picture through your opponent and who they've played against. This is why this is a team key.
Starting point is 00:24:27 This is why you have to affect the pocket. This is why you got to get Lamar Jackson throwing outside the pocket. Get him throwing sideways outside the numbers. We can't have these hashes open in the middle. He paints you such a vision. And again, I only know how players have spoken about Aaron Glenn and how he was at Detroit
Starting point is 00:24:43 or how they spoke about him at Detroit. I feel like culture being established is a massive thing. And I feel like where Miami's at, it's just going to take one bad week for it to kind of just go. So kind of goes south. You talk about being cute and all that. Like, Kansas Chiefs are like they are, they can be cute. When a short yard or such situations where you think obviously you're going to run,
Starting point is 00:25:04 they'll get cute. Slash a guy. He goes out the back field. You just think it over to him real quick and they get the first down. They've created evidence that when they get in the situations, they're able to come through. McDaniels has not created the evidence of being cute pays off consistently. I think Andy Reid, that's the difference with Andy Reid,
Starting point is 00:25:20 aside from Super Bowls, winning. all that stuff. But you know, the cuteness works, but you have to create consistent evidence for players to fully buy in all the time on it. So I agree with you on that point. We'll end up this episode real quick to bring you form energy. Foreign energy delivers a best in-class taste with natural flavors and zero sugar. Form manager has natural caffeinated derived from green tea. Form comes in a variety of flavors, talking about screaming freedom. That's rocket pop inspired. Starting point is 00:25:53 these things, what do we do? Crack the top of a form energy, slide that thing down. We're wired, we're moving. X's and O's, eyes and W's, we're like computers out there. We do the work, form energy back to this episode. Hey, it's us, the Jonas brothers. And guess what? We have some big news. What's the news, Nick? Huge news. We created our own podcast called, Hey Jonas. We invented a podcast? Well, we didn't invent it. We just contributed to it. We're the first people to do podcasts. Pretty, yeah, pretty wide range of podcasts. We're starting a trend. But this one's extra special. So how do we actually come up with a name Hey Jonas, guys?
Starting point is 00:26:25 I honestly don't remember. I think it was on a call about what we should call it. Well, we were thinking I'm originally calling it one of the early names of our band before Jonas Brothers was... This is how you guys remember it going down? Yes. I have a very different memory of this. We were talking about a thing, a bit for the podcast
Starting point is 00:26:45 where people could call in and say, hey Jonas. And then I wrote down on my little notepad, Hey Jonas. And offered it up as a potential title for the podcast. But thanks for remembering that, guys. Listen to Hey Jonas on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcast. Just listen. We don't care where you hear it.
Starting point is 00:27:03 Jacob Kingston grew up in an isolated polygamous sect. We were God's chosen kingdom on earth. He felt destined for greatness. So when a swaggering Armenian businessman catapults Jacob into an extraordinary world, he doesn't look back. Ferraris and Lamborghinis, private jets, meeting the president of Turkey. I'm Michelle McPhee, and this is one of the most shocking criminal conspiracies I've ever come across. When Jacob met Levant this plant to a billion dollar fraud.
Starting point is 00:27:35 But with two kings from entirely different worlds, just how long can their empire survive? The largest tax investigation in American history. You need to tell me what you know. Is somebody coming after me? told Levan, you're ruining my life. Listen to Kingdom of Fraud on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. Last night, a blown call changed a game. This morning, the internet lost its mind.

Is that your segue to the AFC West, though, with the Chiefs or you want to? Yeah, I did a great segue. When we're sitting in the AFC West,
Starting point is 00:29:01 it's like one of my favorite divisions to kind of look at. Broncos. Oh. Yeah. Chargers. I'm going Broncos. I got the Chiefs.
Starting point is 00:29:10 I think the Chiefs, much like the Bill. Okay, here's what I got, though. I got the Broncos and Chargers making the playoffs, too. I got three teams out of the AFC West making the playoffs. You don't think, you don't think, you think the Raiders get left behind? Yeah. Yeah. You say that real confidence.
Starting point is 00:29:26 I don't want to, I don't want to, I don't want to, your boys out there now. Yeah, no, Pete's out there and he's going to. Chip Kelly, O.C. You're right. Geno Smith, middle fingers coming out of the, coming out of the time. Oh, Raider Nation is back. But it's the first year. Okay.
Starting point is 00:29:39 It's the first year. But here's what I'm saying. Like, the chiefs are the chiefs. Like, there's no reason to bet against them at this point. Like, who have they lost? Who are they losing? I know they're getting long in the tooth with Kelsey. But like, as long.
Starting point is 00:29:49 It's no different than Josh. The receiving core, though. The receiving core is a suspect. But who was buddy who got hurt who's coming? I mean, they are. So you got Rice going to be suspended for four games. Hollywood Brown. He stays injured.
Starting point is 00:30:01 Pacheco. Pacheco, that's the run game. Yes, the run game. He's going to hear two jump from year one. I was going to say, Examie Worthy is the only right now, the only threat they have right now. Let's be honest. For the Chiefs.
Starting point is 00:30:12 Yeah, but he'll force. He'll force him. He's still sad. He's got a lot of business coming out. Who's that she to get you to get you. 7, 800. Well, Kelsey always going to be true. Kelsey going to always be the truth.
Starting point is 00:30:23 We know that. Yeah, Noah. Yeah, Noah is a beast. Bees. Can play the slot, play outside. Don't look like a tight end when he's out there running routes. You want that. But again, you still need receivers.
Starting point is 00:30:35 I get it. They got Xavier. He can take the top off. But you're going to need those guys when they double team in either Kelsey or Xavier. You're going to need those guys to get open. I just don't see the Broncos or the Chargers. I see them both being like a 9, 10 win. team and I see the chiefs, you know, back up there 11 or 12.
Starting point is 00:30:52 I think it'll be close. You know, I think obviously with the Harbaugh, you know, down there in LA and then, you know, the Broncos and buddy from Oregon, what's his name? Bo Nick. Yeah, Beau Nick's playing. I think they'll all take that next step, but I still think they're chasing the chiefs. I think they close the gap that much more, but the Chiefs are the Chiefs.
Starting point is 00:31:11 You can't disagree with the Chiefs division. You can't. They got 15. It's more fun to look at the AFC West and be like, we got Harbaugh. Pete Carroll, Andy Reed, and Sean Payton. All in the same division. All of them have quarterbacks. Like, people want to hate on Gino Smith.
Starting point is 00:31:26 Geno Smith is a dog. Mitch the other day would put a little stat up. I don't know if you have a microphone. I don't know it right now. But if you got something, what's that stat? It was like the last two or three years he's led the league in completion percentage. And then like two years ago, he led the league in passing yards. Who did it?
Starting point is 00:31:41 Gino Smith. Oh, yeah, Gino Smith. Pete Carroll, a hell of a coach. You can attest to that. What does Pete Carroll love? He loves a strong run game. He got action genty in the run game. You go to the coaches. Do they have the offensive line? You look at Harball and you're like, he's doing
Starting point is 00:31:52 Rich Eisen's show sitting there being like, I've had having dreams, affirmations. I've done ayahuasca in the desert saying, I've got to get Justin Herbert to the Hall of Fame. How do you do that by winning Super Bowl's? Unique culture guy and people are buying in a year two. You look at just a culture for Jesse Minter from a defense coordinator standpoint. He took them from a below average defense to a top 10 defense in the NFL last year. That's going to be big time. Bo Nix, Ultimate Pro. on pain, peanut butter and jelly. They were feeling each other, mile high stadium,
Starting point is 00:32:22 very difficult place to play. And also, like, the chiefs didn't have any big acquisitions during the free agency process. Like, the Chargers went and got Micah Bechtin, who no one's really talking about, won a Super Bowl last year with the Eagles. Like, was playing tackle, realized he's not as light-footed as he should be,
Starting point is 00:32:39 goes in and goes into guard, and it starts playing, what's at all? Who's an online coach? Stallwork? Stall. Is he good moved back to tackle? No. No, no, no, you got two great, you got Rashaun Slater.
Starting point is 00:32:51 He hurt. He hurt. Oh, Slater's out, yeah. Broke his leg? Yeah, he broke his leg. So. I think you keep back in, you gotta keep him in that phone booth area. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:33:00 Listen to me, keep him in the phone booth area. Also, shout out Roshan Slater getting broke off 100 plus million. I know and didn't get hurt. It's a fun division to look at. It happens. It's a fun division to look at. I like the Chargers, but I also like the Chiefs, but I also like the Raiders.
Starting point is 00:33:14 I also like, it's fun. It's tough. It's tough. You talk about, no free free agent acquisitions, though. That was the same approach we took in Green Bay, though. We always draft and develop. Like, why, you don't need to change something that's not broken right now.
Starting point is 00:33:26 Three Super Bowls in a row, yeah, you come up short to an amazing Philly team. I mean, yeah, like the sexy thing to do was go in and bring these free agents, but they've got the squad. They've got the team. They've got the coach. How many one-score games did they win last year through luck. Well, that show, you can either say that's cause. I mean, dude.
Starting point is 00:33:42 Yes. No. Everybody came back. Like this, like, there's like a little tiki-techie-tech thing. It's like you can't rely on that. Dude, I'm with you. Like, am I going to be surprised when and if the Chiefs win the division again?
Starting point is 00:33:54 No. No. But it's like, how exciting is the AFC West? It gets a hot. It's exciting. And you lost Joe Tuny, by the way. Michael, Nicole Hardman. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:34:05 Deandre Hopkins was in there for a couple of coffee. He was there for a little bit. The Ravens. So it's fun. It's fun, dude. AFC North? That's a fun one, too. That's a fun one, too.
Starting point is 00:34:17 We got the Ravens. I got the Ravens. I got the Ravens. I think the Bengals, hey, you just got to go with your head. I'm saying the AFC is not difficult. If you miss on the AFC. Chiefs, Ravens. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:34:32 Bills, Ravens, Texas Chiefs. All the high. Every tie team in the division. And I'm about winning. I'm about stacking dubs, all right? You guys are having to get to the NFC. Having played the NFC my entire career, I feel good about that. You all AFC boys talking about Rable.
Starting point is 00:34:47 and the notes he puts on the whiteboard and whatnot. Like, I don't care. I want to know who's going to win. All right. And that is going to be the Ravens. It's all the best. The best. Hey.
Starting point is 00:34:56 Hey, we got another Delaney on the squad, too. You got me fucking out. Oh, yeah, move on. I'm going to take these favorites. I'm going to take a money line. Hey, I got the Bengals making the playoff as well. That's a wild car. I think they get off to a slow start as well.
Starting point is 00:35:09 They don't have an offensive line to block for Joe Burrow. Defense. I think you think of the chemistry of the Bengals. You see what's going on with Trey Hendrick. they don't want to invest in their guys. It's been like that since Carson, even before him. It's just I don't think it's a locker room that is, there's not a lot of synergy or cohesiveness.
Starting point is 00:35:29 And like I said, I'm not in there. I'm just seeing what I'm seeing here. And I think, you know, with Burrow back there, he's capable of throwing, you know, 5,000 yards. But at the end of the day, I don't think their defense holds up. I think they lose some of these games. And I think the Ravens with Lamar Jackson are just, you know, that team in the AFC.
Starting point is 00:35:45 I think they win the AFC. Baveman, King, King, the O line, D line. Yeah, D line. Got a great enough of Roney Stanley. Like they, I mean, they had a tough time jelling earlier in the years and off the line. They really figured themselves out. They got a, they brought Hamilton.
Starting point is 00:36:01 There's a reason why they're minus 155. Mike Green, new rush, that is Russia. That's a squad right there, no doubt. Jair Alexander, D.D. Yeah. They got a, Jair Alexander. They got a squad. They got a squad.
Starting point is 00:36:14 I want to sit there and raise a fly for the Bengals. so much. Like I love Joe Burrow. So bad. He deserves 22 guys on all three sides of the ball, like playing as well and as hard as he is. But the defense for me is where I have to stay away. Yeah, Trey Hendrickson. He's trying to figure it out. He's mad disgruntled their first round draft pick.
Starting point is 00:36:34 Almost went back to A&M. They have a hold back and forth. It's like, they didn't necessarily get better on the defense side of the ball. And then, you know, like Joe Burrow was essentially like Cam Ward in Miami last year. He's got to drop 40. Just to win a game. Just to win a game.
Starting point is 00:36:48 So it's like, yeah. But it's fun to watch. It's fun to watch. And I mean, Chase is unbelievable. Like they have a great office. They paid everybody too. But dude, I feel like the Steelers. I was going to say adding A rod to the mix.
Starting point is 00:37:02 I feel like Steelers are in the best possible position you can be in, man. Like when Aaron Rogers went to the Jets, it's like the Jets are back. They're going to do X, Y, and Z. Obviously what happened happened at the Jets. Now no one's talking about Aaron Rogers. Like that new car smell. has kind of worn off. Has he lost it?
Starting point is 00:37:19 Is he done? Is he just doing it? Getting a paycheck. Can you not walk away from the game? I feel like that's exactly where Aaron Rogers wants to be. The OC, Arthur Smith, he does a good job
Starting point is 00:37:29 of handling unique relationships. Who does the best job? The head coach, Mike Tomlin, does an amazing job. I love the addition of D.K. Metcalfe. I love Johnny Smith, who I think is a wildly underrated tight end.
Starting point is 00:37:41 Mary. Back with Arthur Smith. Yeah. So right now, the Steelers are sitting in a spot where it's like no one's talking about them and that's exactly where they need to be. I mean, they paid T.J. Watt, you know, the entire bank. He's the highest nonpaid quarterback of all time. Leadership with Hayward. Leadership with Hayward. High Smith.
Starting point is 00:38:00 He want to get paid. High Smith is a guy that I swear to God is not talked about enough. He had a groin last year and an ankle last year. He missed like six or seven games. Still recorded six sacks. Like that's a guy when he's fully healthy. You've got to watch out for him too, but that allows T.J. to eat more. Allow us Camby. more like I think the Steelers are going to surprise a lot of people I'm taking them Jalen too you talked about him coming up from Miami like you had him at cornerback or you know however they want to get creative with right I think right now they have a lot on the depth chart for nickel nickel yeah which which means like I just feel like he still got the
Starting point is 00:38:32 he's going to be a beast covering that tight end yeah I tell you what we got to get corners away from the loose sleeve jerseys though I don't I don't subscribe to that tighten that shit I like when they have loose jersey you know I don't know why that became cool I don't know. Why'd you do it? It just, I know. I got the Steelers. The only thing scared me with that is Arthur Smith and Aaron Rogers. I just, I know art.
Starting point is 00:38:58 We know art. If they, when it started going wrong, they're going to be buttonheaded. And I told y'all, I told you about Aaron Rogers. When it starts going to go wrong. It's going to go wrong with Aaron Rogers. Sure, what if it doesn't go wrong? It's going to go wrong with Aaron Rogers, straight up. You think so?
Starting point is 00:39:15 No, no, I think. Let's keep it a buck. You know him. Yeah, no, I know Arod. I mean, listen. Let's zoom him in here. Oh, like, what, year 20, year 21 for him right now. Like, great coaches, they understand their players, what they're capable of doing.
Starting point is 00:39:32 Aaron can do everything. And if that means, you know, he's got his checks out there. Like, I can't speak to, you know, when he's behind center and he's doing what he does out there. But, like, his football intelligence is greater than probably any coach out there because he has seen it. He's been through it. He sat behind Favre. He's now moved around a few franchises. Like, I think he's just that guy, and he wants everybody on deck, everybody on the same page.
Starting point is 00:39:57 Hopefully, that's the case with his receivers. I know from watching the Jets last year, it was just, it was dysfunctional. Just not from an organizational standpoint, perhaps it was, but it was just watching it on game day, not, you know, understanding what they're running in the past is. There were moments, though, last year. Like, it's not like he. No, absolutely. If you look at his stats, you think he was terrible. You look at his stats.
Starting point is 00:40:16 what they are up the top of my head but you know like like upper 3 000 upper 3 000 yeah and um but but i think like you had mentioned mike tomlin as the head coach um you know that defense phenomenal um offensive acquisitions i think they're primed to be a you know a dark horse in this i got an rogersstone pro for 4 000 this year that's crazy i like that and i like that because you know arthur smith don't go deep a lot he likes to run these arthur should dude he eventually arthur smiths got an adapter got Why you got a I got Aaron Rogers throwing from a 4,000 yards.
Starting point is 00:40:51 Who's been his quarterback with us? Ryan Tannahill, Marcus Marriota. Not Aaron. I know, but it's the point of is Aaron still, is he still going to have that ability to get the ball down the field?
Starting point is 00:41:03 I don't think they, O'Line is that strong. Art's never had a quarterback like Aaron. I know, but they never. Also, their O'Line is not as strong as y'all saying it is. So Aaron Rogers can't play
Starting point is 00:41:11 behind a weak O'Line because he's not about to be running all over the field. That's not him. He's too old. to do that. He won't do that. I'm telling you right now. That's what that's where I feel like the upside is going to come down. Just like what you said, he feel like he's so smart. He's smarter than offensive coordinator. That shit gets that rugs people the wrong way when you
Starting point is 00:41:30 in a meeting room. When your quarterback is like, oh, well, no, we should do it this way. You don't think they haven't been building the synergy since Sarah Rogers walked to the door. I mean, he's going to, Arthur going to play his role just to, you know, to make, to make them please them until he don't have to. I just what I feel. I just feel that. Here's why I like the Steelers in this division. I don't.
Starting point is 00:41:51 And I like the, I like the Ravens have the best team. Ravens are going to be the hardest to beat. Right. Obviously would not be surprised if they win the division. I would love to see Burrow just throw for 4,500. I'm close to picking that on Fandle right now. Joe Burrow throwing for over 45. I would rather do that one than Aaron Rogers.
Starting point is 00:42:08 But here's why I like, here's why I like the Steelers coming out on this division. Because when you look at the schedule between the Ravens and the Steelers, and the Steelers. I'll just rattle these off. Raven's got to play. They open up at Buffalo. They host Detroit. They play at Kansas City. They're playing Houston. The Rams. You got Minnesota. You got, obviously, they're in-division games. You got New England. You got Green Bay. They're playing a lot of playoffs. Teams that were in the playoffs last year. And when you go to the Steelers, you're not seeing any of those teams. Like, they go at New York, the Jets. They play Seattle. they play New England, they play Minnesota, they play the Browns, or obviously the teams in their division, the Colts, Green Bay, the Bears, they don't have a lot of...
Starting point is 00:42:56 The first five games. They don't have a lot of like ex-playoff teams that they have to play similar to how the Ravens do you think they win out of the first five? How many of you giving them out of the first five? So they got their first four is the Jets, Seattle, New England, Minnesota, and then they have a biweek in the Browns. If they're dropping any games, I see them drop in New England. New England or Minnesota? But also Minnesota's got a new quarterback. J.J. McCart, I mean.
Starting point is 00:43:19 Yeah, Minnesota, I think, is a year away. We don't know. We don't know. They're hosting Minnesota. Yeah. Well, they're not hosting. It's 8.30 a.m. So that tells me it's overseas.
Starting point is 00:43:29 Oh, yeah. Yeah. But hosting. But those first four, you know how you break it down too. Like as a player, obviously there's more games now. But when of 16 games, it's like a quarter at a time, your first four games. You open up with the Jets, Seattle, New England, Minnesota. soda, you get three of those.
Starting point is 00:43:46 They're in a great spot. They go jets. They play the jets at the Jets. Yeah, they're going to New York. I really think the Jets going to turn around this year. We'll see. And then the Ravens in their first four. You got Buffalo, the Browns, the Lions, Kansas City.
Starting point is 00:44:02 I like it. Yeah, it's great for football. It's great for fans. It's going to be an electric gear. But I'm saying that's a jugger. That's a junk. Purely based on schedule and teams they have to play, Ravens feel like they're playing everybody from the
Starting point is 00:44:14 playoffs last year. John Blake, Pittsburgh feels like they're not, they're not playing any of those things outside of their division that's been to the playoffs. AFC South? Texas. Texas. It's heartbreaking.
Starting point is 00:44:27 Texas. I mean, the Titans got to show me something. I just couldn't decide on picking the Titans right off the job. Also, there's a helicopter going by right now in the locker room show. Onward, Texans. Yeah. What do you guys think about the stuff that just went down with the Colts? I mean, I believe that was going to happen.
Starting point is 00:44:43 The man couldn't pick up a regular blitz on a cover two rotation. I'm like Anthony Richardson? Yeah, Anthony Richardson. He couldn't pick up that blitz. It showed cover two, but they rotate to a cover three. Brung only like a sound dog or something like that. And he didn't see it breaks his pinky. You don't want to put a quarterback out there.
Starting point is 00:45:02 He's a liability. You have to make that decision. You have to. Dame Jones, all he can do is lose the position. And Richardson goes back in and gets his job back. That's literally where we're sitting at. that decision. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:45:14 And it's, you know, that was his second year last year, was he? He's in year three. Okay. I mean, he's only played 15 games total because he's got a lot of injury. Like, a lot of injuries. He gets injured. Yeah. Well, you think of like the Trey Lance situation, the 49ers when they, you know,
Starting point is 00:45:27 they benched him, so to speak. And I know that was because of injuries as well. But it takes a lot. You almost commend the team for ripping the bandit off and admitting the mistake of drafting him. So, you know, it's, it's tough, you know, to kind of see that situation. But you look at like you said all the off-field stuff too like like you know coming out of the game pulling yourself out when you're tired We got we got a hip-hop rap career on the side too like you need everybody bought in and I think Daniel Jones gives them a better chance
Starting point is 00:45:58 What a better chance to do what? It's not right when the division people are going after the Colts too because it's like they're seeing it as the Colts organization You knew he was 21 years old you knew he was young you knew he was going to be a project you got to give him reps you have to give him time and I think all of us with experience playing in the league, like this game has a small window for everybody, not just the players, the staff, front office people. There's probably people sitting in that front office seeing like, yeah, we gave up on him. Like this person saying it right, there's probably people being like, we should have done this a while back because you have the injury.
Starting point is 00:46:32 He hasn't been available. Your best ability is availability in the NFL. He hasn't been available because of injuries. Is he showing promise and progress on the promise side? He flashes. he makes incredible plays. But as far as consistency, doing the little things, hitting guys out in the flat,
Starting point is 00:46:48 picking up simple day one install blitzes in preseason. It's like how long of a leash are you going to give them before the staff or people in the front office start feeling tight? We're not going to have a long time here if we don't make a decision. They're essentially preserving themselves. They're like, we got to. Yeah. Hey, we have to admit that we kind of fucked this up.
Starting point is 00:47:06 Daniel Jones, I only know based on one interview that happened in the locker room where they were interviewing one of the players and they talk about how much command that Daniel Jones has. They're talking about his intangible stuff. He just seems to understand and know the offense. They did the same thing last year when they threw what, Flacco in there when they ended up pulling the plug on Anthony Richardson because they're like, hey, we're just going to start flaco. Dude pulls himself out of the game for being too tired, gets called out. Like, I'm not surprised. I feel like it was bound to happen, especially again, not being on the inside. It's the
Starting point is 00:47:36 promise and making progress. And apparently he hasn't made the progress or he hasn't had the intentionality of being in the room, maybe he shows up early, but maybe it's not carrying over to the, from practice field to the games. It's just like, what the fuck else can we do here for the highest of highs when he does have him, but the inconsistice season, the floor he has right now, it's almost like they had to make the switch to Daniel Jones.
Starting point is 00:47:58 Anthony Richardson, he only knows this answer, but it's like how much effort and work are you putting into the day in and day out processes of being able to be an NFL quarterback? He's the only one that knows that answer. For them to make this decision at this point right now, for Daniel Jones to be the starting quarterback, it's got to be a, Daniel Jones is just above and beyond right now.
Starting point is 00:48:16 And the self-preservation of the upper office, Jim Mersey, he's gone now, like ownership. There's a whole, there's a lot of changing people gone. DJ might be operating right now in that building. Yeah, he might be. The people I feel bad for are like Quentin Nelson. Yeah. He's sitting in the locker room.
Starting point is 00:48:30 He was asked after practice the other day, you know, are you frustrated because you're not having a quarterback in there year in and year out when you have a kind of a revolving door of who your guy is going to be? And as politely, and we all know Quentin Nelson, how good of a guy he is off the field, as politely as he possibly could, said, yes, it's very frustrating and not have that cohesiveness, the consistency of having somebody back there that you can build a rapport with a week and week out year and a year out. So it's like it's hurting them.
Starting point is 00:48:59 They've got to find their guy. Is DJ the guy? I don't know. But if Anthony Richardson is not the guy, it's like sometimes you've got to just make a clean cut. Now, the good news for Anthony Richardson, Bryce Young, he was benched last year. comes back. He kind of re-sparked in it reunited like, okay, maybe we do have something here. He got a little kick in the ass. Baker Mayfield is the first overall pick for the Cleveland Browns. He starts bouncing over the place, kind of resurrects his career when he has a two-day notice with the ramps, comes by and
Starting point is 00:49:25 he has a game-winning drive. Now he's found a home in a $100 million contract at Tampa Bay Buccaneers. So there's still hope for him. There's got to be a level of maturity that takes place, an understanding of your process, how your mind works, and the best way for you to get from Sunday to Sunday with the answers to the test. He's got to figure that out. No one else can do it for him. Sucks for him. You just kind of hope that they kind of write the ship.
Starting point is 00:49:46 It hurts me more than anything is picking the Texans. I mean, Daniel Jones, like a few years ago, he was an elite quarterback. They gave him a deal. We thought he was going to be a stud, and he came out, and he pretty much shit the bed. Well, there's a lot of, you know, there's a lot of evidence and a resume there that, you know, they're running through like five different offensive line rotations. They're working. He's working with the threes.
Starting point is 00:50:05 There's not a lot of weapons. Yeah, he had Malik, neighbors. last year and stuff, but he hasn't necessarily had a roster to work with. The Colts do have some talent on the roster, so it will be interesting to see. And also at the beginning, when they brought Daniel Jones in, the Colts were saying, like, this is an open competition. Yeah. This job isn't Anthony Richardson's.
Starting point is 00:50:25 It's not, you know, obviously Daniel Jones. But again, everything that's went down over the last couple of years, especially last year, like how you saw the Colts operate with Anthony Richardson. After he tapped out, after they put into a flag. They used a few different quarterbacks. It was open competition. It seemed like Daniel Jones won the job outright. Do anyone know if Daniel Jones, did the Colts pick up his contract
Starting point is 00:50:45 or did they give him a new contract when he resigned? I think he cleared waivers. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I really don't. They got him at a good price. Okay. And that's cool. Because if they took that contract over, he needs to start.
Starting point is 00:50:58 He signed for one year, $14 million. One year, $14 million. They paid him to come in and compete. Do they have any money for a future? I know obviously this year's. Yeah. That's a great question. All right, ladies gentlemen, this episode is brought to you by Mikhailobulchra.

Hey, it's us to Jonas Brothers, and guess what? We have some big news.
Starting point is 00:51:30 What's the news, big news? Huge news. We created our own podcast called, Hey Jonas. We invented a podcast? Well, we didn't invent it. We just contributed to it. We're the first people to do podcasts. Pretty, yeah, pretty wide range of podcasts throughout there.
Starting point is 00:51:44 But this one's extra special. So how did we actually come up with a name, Hey Jonas, guys? I honestly don't remember. I think it was on a call about what we should call it. And we were thinking I'm originally calling it one of the early names of our band. Before Jonas Brothers was... This is how you guys remember it going down? Yes.
Starting point is 00:52:05 I have a very different memory of this. We were talking about a thing, a bit for the podcast, where people could call in and say, hey, Jonas. And then I wrote down on my little notepad, Hey Jonas, and offered it up as a potential title for the podcast. But thanks for remembering that, guys. Listen to Hey Jonas on the Iheart radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcast.

I mean, unless they just tank this next year and get, you know, top five pick, right, which could very well be the case. You got a lot of quarterbacks in the office. That could be the case. Yeah. I'm trying to tank.
Starting point is 00:54:29 Should we hit NFC? We are getting a little. I will say we're very excited about Cammore than Tennessee Titans. Very excited. We are very excited for the title. I think the expectation, you need to hold the expectation there, win six, seven games. I think you need to be proud as a Tennessee Titan fan. I want to see a lot of this.
Starting point is 00:54:43 He's got the attitude. Like he's in, first one in, last one out mentality. Coach has got to make him get out of the building. Like he's got all the stuff. I just don't think he has the pieces right now. Yeah. I don't think he's pieces right now. Do you don't have the winning the AFC outright?
Starting point is 00:54:59 Ravens. Ravens. I have the bills. And the GM may or may not have given me a reason to back him a whole ball. lunch. I just, man. He said we can put them through the table if they win. Yeah. We need to go to the parade. Well, he said, if they, if they win, you can slam them
Starting point is 00:55:14 through the table, the Super Bowl. Yeah, we need to be at the parade. Oh, at the Super Bowl. So, yeah, so did, uh, Brad and Bean? The parade. The parade. Yeah, we got to the parade. Yeah, I know. So Bean essentially, he bribed this, bribed me into, I'm picking the bill.
Starting point is 00:55:29 Yeah, yeah, that's what's up. We have a little bit. I'll go bills. I think it's up in the air, bro. It is. I mean, it's a I mean, everybody. It's all, you never know what's going to happen. Injuries happen. But like, parade.
Starting point is 00:55:43 Yeah, right now where I sit, reserve the right to change in my mind all throughout the year, but right now I'm going bills. Who is the bills most afraid of, though, right now? Who would you say if the bills should be? Chiefs. Chiefs.
Starting point is 00:55:53 Chiefs. What? What? Why the Broncos? I mean, the villain. The bill's, the villain in their story is the chiefs. I know. I trust me, but I feel like the chiefs ain't going to be
Starting point is 00:56:06 as good as they were. No, I agree with you, but you're saying who should. I'm just saying, I thought you said Ravens. Are we, you don't, I'm taking the Ravens. Oh, you just, I'm just asking a question. You just threw another AFC West team. What about the Broncos? He said, oh, what about the Raiders?
Starting point is 00:56:18 I'm taking the Ravens, but. Yeah, I got the bills. Ravens, Ravens, Bill's, Bill's. Yeah. That's where we're at. Yeah, safe. NFC. Go ahead, Will.
Starting point is 00:56:30 NFC South. I got the bucks. Bucks. Bucks. I think they're battling at about 9, 10, wins with the Falcons but I think you know the Bucks pull it out wait you said with the falcons with the Falcons with Pennix yep yeah I think I mean I think I think I think I think you're right yeah I just think Baker Mayfield I love his story I love his attitude
Starting point is 00:56:51 Mike Evans I'll yeah Mike Evans there are some question marks with the Godwin and well he just signed 66 million dollar contract so he coming back okay about injury or what yeah they're talking about like yeah yeah the health of him right now and Tristan Tristan Worf yeah Tristan Worf's. They did it. I mean, Free agency, they got Hassan Reddick,
Starting point is 00:57:09 who was like, did he sit up? Yeah, and saw it. He set out the whole year. He set up for the whole year. He was the whole year. But was electric.
Starting point is 00:57:15 They get rid of Shaq Barrett. Shaq's a little older, longer in the tooth, as you like to say. I think it's a good tradeoff. I just don't see the Falcons taking a big step. I think the Carole.
Starting point is 00:57:24 The Panthers are going to be with the Panthers are going to be. I think, you know, they might get a little bit better this year than the Saints. We still don't know who the starting quarterback's going to be. It's the Bucks Division to lose.
Starting point is 00:57:37 Yeah. Remind me, he's a stud and I hate that I'm forgetting his name right now. Remind me the running back? Bajie, come on, Beijing. Oh, I'm with the Bucks. Oh, oh. Erving. Buckey Irving.
Starting point is 00:57:48 Tampa Bay can run the football too. You can talk about Baker Mayfield, Evans, Godwin, all those, all the weapons he has. They, Bucky Irving, they can run the football. I like the Buckees. Yeah, he had 1100 yards rushing last year. They're their new OC, like you got to make sure that him and Baker Mesh. He was obviously the officer passing coordinator. last year he's just walked into a new role of calling the plays now hopefully they keep
Starting point is 00:58:10 the thing thing going and Mike Evans buddy he just Benjamin guaranteed guaranteed 11th thousand yards season I like the bucks compete for a championship for an NFC championship do you I like him competing I don't know if I got them right now but I like winning the division they are competing well but I'm talking about making a run yeah talking like bucks you know they get in they're probably not going to go far right I'm talking about I think they can be a you see them in the NFC yeah and a nail-biter in the division than you possibly making it to the championship game.
Starting point is 00:58:38 I mean, they division is weak, so they should be fun. Let's get to the NFC North. Clay, this is your world. It is my world right here. Are you going to be a Homer? Homer all the way. Packers plus 2.30. Oh, no.
Starting point is 00:58:53 You wanted me to mix it up. But the easy decision like you're getting on me for is the Lions, right? But I'm worried about the Lions and losing Aaron Glenn. Bay Johnson. Yeah, I'm going to Chicago. And then, you know, with Sam Darnold leaving, and you got J.J. McCart, we talked about this, not knowing what he's brought.
Starting point is 00:59:11 So I think the Packers get up early in the season. I'm not saying they're the best team by the end of the year, but I think that's going to be the deepest division, the NFC North, the Black and Blue Division. I got the Packers and Lions making the playoff. Packers winning it a game. Maybe they're tied, but they got the half game lead, whatever it is. I think Jordan Love, Josh Jacobs.
Starting point is 00:59:33 The receivers kind of, you know, their availability we talk about, you know, they're constantly hurt. George and love just. Yeah, that's true. I forgot about that. I mean, buddy, how could you forget? We were there. You, you stole the show.
Starting point is 00:59:47 Yeah, you stole the show, bro. Thank you. But you know, run game, I think it's the Packers year. I think it's, they win the NFC North. I think the Lions just, they don't put it together. You hear some of this talk coming out of training camp, you know, some inconsistencies on offense, not sure about the defense, but the vice. I'm not all in on them. I think the Packers eat this one out.
Starting point is 01:00:08 You haven't even mentioned the Bears. Bears look good on their one drive, but I know, bro, it's preseason. Like I don't even care about preseason. I watched Shador play the Eagles or whoever it was in week one. I'm like, I'm done. We're falling on the one. I'm done. You be three selling, you know.
Starting point is 01:00:24 Oh yeah, yeah, but that's it. I haven't watched any preseason. It'll be interesting with Ben Johnson, the new, like, well, he looked on him. People were saying not a leader of men. It was a weird shot at him. Yeah. But then Caleb Williams' unique personality, is he going to take the step? Because last year it's like, what are we doing?
Starting point is 01:00:40 He's got all the talent in the world. Yeah, too many question marks of bears, too many question marks with Minnesota for you to sit and like really plan a flag in there. And the Packers, you know, I know they were, what, one in four, one and five. In divisional games last year, losing to the Bears, losing to the Vikings twice and the Lions twice. But I think they get over on them this year. They continue playing well with the AFC opponents they have, the other NFC.
Starting point is 01:01:01 They also finished, did they finish second or third in their? in the NFC North, which means they're going to play that tier three of the NFC right there, which allows them for an easier schedule. So I think just by, if you're playing the odds, I think they finish first. You can definitely sell me on all those points. And I know the Lions, they lost a few guys, Frank Ragnow, Kevin Zitler. The thing for me is, it's culture, culture, culture. And it's like you watch Netflix quarterback, you watch the quarterback, you watch the way they approach every single week.
Starting point is 01:01:32 Dan Campbell, the way he is in press conferences, the way you go to their training camps and you see that they are truly about bringing this brand up to what they need to be, which is a Super Bowl champions. I've bought so much stock in them, and I love the idea of, my God, I'm forgetting his name,
Starting point is 01:01:48 but he went to Michigan too. Aidan Hudson. He was electric. He was playing a defensive player of the year mentality. He had the stat sheet for it. He gets the Tibb-fib. Getting a sack sucks. You see the,
Starting point is 01:02:02 He's just working in silence every once in a while. You'll get on Twitter. You'll get on the bird. And you see a little clippy of him just hit in a corner. Catching an edge real quick. Is he back? Oh, he doesn't look the same. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:02:12 A piece of you is like, if this dude comes back and they have that type of rush, I think that's what they were missing last year to get over the hump. Well, I've seen some, the internet speak, some of these videos in one of, and his one-on-ones, he looks good. No, I was just about to say that. He looks better. I was so hot because that's the type of injury, you know, and he's about to get paid. You know, he's this guy, and it's just a freak act.
Starting point is 01:02:32 and he just leg whip, you know, or he legwipped someone breaks tib fib like you said. But now to see him come back, I'm just happy on a personal level for him that I hope he gets back to where he was at. He's showing it. He's ready to continue what he's doing and get paid for it. Good thing about a tibfib when you're young too. It's not like a ligament type of thing. You can just, hey, put a metal plate in that.
Starting point is 01:02:50 We've got Iron Man now. Like you kind of, as long as you can get over it mentally, a lot of times you go back to the same guy. See, I see that big black pad on his pasty legs like mine. It worries me. But then he, oh, he dips under. And I go, man, he's there. He's got it.
Starting point is 01:03:02 kind of got it. He's got the attitude. He's a great leader, too. Once he's out, you're not losing him from the stat standpoint, but it's like getting a rising tide to lift all boats. Like, he brought that deepness to a whole new level. So I like the lions. I'm going to plant my flags of the lions,
Starting point is 01:03:15 but I would not be surprised with the Packers. Hey, I'm saying with the lions, I mean, they just still got too many threats on the outside. Amraa, Leporta. You got Jamison Williamson. Two-head monster in the back field. Come on. Jamar Gibbs.
Starting point is 01:03:30 Great offensive line. Great offensive. It's a lie. It's just going to be tough. You did. You did. You got two great tackles. Graham Glasgow is one of the more underrated guards in the entire league.
Starting point is 01:03:41 You've got to fix that problem with Frank Ragnon. I know he dealt some injuries early. Like last year a lot, which probably led to him retiring a little bit early. You fixed that. Zytler being gone. Like, you've got three core guys in there that are going to uplift that. I think they're going to hold the standard. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:03:56 I like them a lot. I like them a lot. I'm in line with Clay. I think the Lions make the playoffs. I think the Packers edge him out. I think there's being in the lockroom, I think you're in no better spot to where you have the roster. You have a good defense.
Starting point is 01:04:13 You have the pieces of offense. You need Jordan love to stay healthy. We know he's light skin now. Them soft tish can jump up on him and he can be out for a game. Well, he just had surgery on his left thumb, tore a ligament in it. So now he's getting light, you know, we're a couple weeks away from week one. Like, come on, man. You need to start fast.
Starting point is 01:04:27 And you know, y'all backup is okay. Who's that? I don't even know who got this. Malik. Malik Willis. They can win with them. They can win with them. They can run the football.
Starting point is 01:04:37 Again, you know, you got Jordan Love, but they can run the football. They have good run defense. They return all of these pieces. And when the focus in the building, the urgency can be tailored around winning your division because they stumbled in the division last year, even though they still made the playoffs and everything else. But when you can bring the focus in the building to, we have to win our division. I think it brings a sense of urgency with the talent you have on that rock.
Starting point is 01:05:01 I think they edge out the lines and that's why I like the Packers in the coming out of the north. I like it. NFC West. Interesting division. I, at the end of the day, I'm leaning towards the 49ers. You want to kind of look at the Rams and Sean McVeigh, but then there's all these reports stuff coming out about Stafford. He's got a back issue. He is older. Do we know how bad it is though?
Starting point is 01:05:24 Bad enough to be talked about publicly? He hasn't practiced. He has also old to prove and he can just do it. I mean, he's tough as shit. Yeah. He is tough of shit, bro. And you're talking about him adding Devante Adams, Pooka Nukua. I'm with you.
Starting point is 01:05:37 I'm with you. Kiron Williams. Yeah, he just got paid. They were nice last year. That young defense, that defensive line, they were all like first second year. First second year guys. Yeah. They are animals, bro.
Starting point is 01:05:47 They're going to be good. They're going to be tough. They're made to win the Super Bowl. They're made to win the West. I just, I'm just a little worried. And I think you talk about Sala coming back to the 49ers. Obviously, that's like sexy for the defense and whatnot. McCaffrey.
Starting point is 01:06:01 you know, getting healthy again. It's once again, it's one of those ones where it's hard to bet against them if they can get back to their winning ways. Once again, they stay healthy. Finishing third in their division, they're going to have an easier schedule. Let's hope Stafford comes back. But I see, I didn't pick them. But I got the Seahawks as a Seahawks and Rams as playoff team.
Starting point is 01:06:20 That's what I'm talking about. Great defense, run the ball. Don't turn it over. 10 wins last year, 10 and 7 last year, same as the Texans, same as a bunch of the other team. Gino Smith, whatever he did out there last January. He's not there anymore, but now you bring in Sam Darnold. But you got Sam Donald?
Starting point is 01:06:37 Right. Who's the young buck they have? But they got some of the name. Yeah, he's a monster. Yeah, yeah. And Zach, how are you saying? From UCLA, yeah, yeah. They do a great job.
Starting point is 01:06:49 Hell yeah. I'm just saying they run the ball, don't turn it over, play great defense. They're getting into playoffs. Great environment. They could be playing with the 49ers and the Rans with the division. They're Coupinac, Cubinac, Cubinac, Cubinac.
Starting point is 01:07:04 Cubinac. Cubian. Cubian. Cubsic. They also just signed Cooper Cup. Oh, yeah. Oh, I was with Coupe in 2019. And you was doubting that bet.
Starting point is 01:07:16 You was doubting that bet. I'm telling you. I still got the Niners. I got Niners, but I got Ram, Seahawks making the playoffs. I think, I just think, you know, you know. Give me all of them, except the Cardinals. Yeah, there you go. We're actually.
Starting point is 01:07:31 expanding the playoff this year and we're taking them all yeah i got the niners dude i know they lost a lot of guys yeah they lost a lot of guys in uh free and she debo samuel hargrave they lost a lot of people in their defense but you still got culture brock bowers brock bowers brock purdy yeah cmc umc fred warner trent williams george kittle like you have the nucleus of culture in your locker room you know everyone's getting older the sense of urgency is there because of the the failure of last year This is the year that they have to do something because I don't know if there's another year you get to sit with that group of guys. Hey, it's us, the Jonas Brothers. And guess what? We have some big news. What's the news, name?

They're not very deep, but if they can do those things and stay healthy, which is borderline impossible, I think they're contenders. I'm actually, I'm excited to see them. I'm excited to see them play up, man. I got to do a golf tournament with them, and I was hanging with Matt Jones, man.
Starting point is 01:11:14 He was actually, and I said some stuff about Matt Jones when he played for the Patriots, but after hanging out with that dude, he's solid. I hope he get a shot to go out there and ball out and make some plays, like just being truthful. I called him a bum, buster. You tell him, Matt Jones. Yeah, he is real. he a real dude, bro. I fluts with him.
Starting point is 01:11:34 For real, for real, for real. I tell you. NFC. I didn't make my pick. Oh, go to make your pick. I'm sorry. I'm just going to go ahead and rock with the boys, San Francisco.
Starting point is 01:11:47 And I'm just going to go ahead and say the insurance policy. Would not be surprised if the Rams. And you, low-key kind of talked to me in the Seahawks a little bit. It's going to be a fun division, too. Yeah. Because it's, I like Devante Adams. And look, again, it's all health. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:12:03 It's all health between the Rams and also the Niners. Because we did the same song and danced last year with the Niners. The windows closing. This is the time you do it with this group of guys. They have them back around this year. Last year they showed us. They couldn't all stay on the field at the same time. I'm going to rock with them because we're tied in.
Starting point is 01:12:20 We're tight together. I'm rocked with the Niners. But to me, it's going to be the Rams or the Niners. If Stafford's healthy, I think they have a hell of a squad. I think that young defense is going to be nasty. Stafford is a dog. He's tough as shit. He's got Devante Adams.
Starting point is 01:12:36 He's got Puka Nukua. Kairn Williams. McVe is a brainiac. You also got the same thing with Shanehan. I'll go ahead and give the nod to the Niners. But they're right there. One A-1B for me. That clip of Sean McVe Berry putting up Devante Adams in front of the team.
Starting point is 01:12:50 Yeah, man. And he's the only guy that leaves the Packers. Goes to the Raiders, gets a little more quiet. Goes to the Jets, gets a little more quiet. but everyone's still like still a top five wide receivers. I mean, his route running is. He still can run routes. I mean, you can see it on film.
Starting point is 01:13:04 He's just not getting the ball thrown to him. He clearly open. Usually our receivers, when they get quiet statistically, everyone's kind of like, ah, move on. With Devante Adams, everyone's like, no, no, no, he's still him. I'm going Rams, I'm going Rams. I'm changing. Did you see the meme, though, of Stafford?
Starting point is 01:13:19 I didn't do that, George. I'm sorry. They had a meme of him. Like, you know, have you ever been to like a dryer cleaners, drying cleaners shop and how they come out? on the rack like to get your clothes they had staffer coming out on the rack getting ready to play in the game this is a season opener you see him coming out on the rack drop his ass on the field bloody hopefully his back's all right
Starting point is 01:13:45 nah yeah he should be all right give him some fucking NFC East and if she's good Willie your division your world I think it's the Eagles I think it's the Eagles until like if the commanders are going to compete the Commanders are going to compete in the east, they have to get better on defense. They're the only, you know, you look at, you know, 10, 10 of the best, like nine of the top, 10 run defenses, all those teams made the playoffs. The only alien, the only outlier of a bottom run defense was Washington that made the playoffs. And they made an exciting run. But I think if they're going to push to win that division, because I think they got the ability on offense. I think
Starting point is 01:14:24 Jay Daniels is going to have a hell of a year, potentially be an MVP talks early, in the year and carrying it all the way through, I think he's that much of a stud. But if they're going to close the gap and being the guys in the east, it's going to be on defense. I know they've made it a focus on run defense, the mentality on defense. I know they let Jonathan Allen go. They got some different guys on the defensive line. But that's where Washington can gain ground.
Starting point is 01:14:48 But I do have the Eagles. To me, it's like, as long as that team's put together, they have aliens everywhere. And I don't see him slowing down unless something happens. And it would start at the quarterback position. Like something happens with Jalen Hertz and there's moments where he misses receivers and there's a little drama that starts to happen. Other than that, I don't see the Eagles slowing down.
Starting point is 01:15:07 I mean, they do it do some added on defense that added Von Miller. So hopefully he can't. Right, but you're talking, this is. This is Von Miller 2025. He had six sacks last year in 12 games. Like, he's still a guy you have to look down for. You still got to watch out for.
Starting point is 01:15:22 But again, we're talking 15, 20s. Yeah, we're talking in the past game. Like if Washington is going to get bedder it has to be the run defense yeah yeah and vaughn's not a guy you're bringing in no no hell no the commander straight me is like in a in a very unique way like the way the bengals draft joe burrow and the next year like you got to get a tackle you got to do this like we're gonna we're gonna we're to double down on just getting more weapons and then i'm going to the super bowl that year the thing that takes me away from the eagles is just history like the last time nfc east won the back-to-back
Starting point is 01:15:53 titles yeah it was 2004 yeah and so every year it's been somebody else it's always just kind of Swiss, Cowboys, Redskins, Eagles, and all of a revolving door of who the champion's going to be. I love the addition of Lammy Tunsell. I love the addition to Debo Samuel. I think Jane Daniel, yeah, it's him. I think because of history, I think the Eagles are absolute juggernauts. They're going to make the playoffs. I think having fun, having a good time, seeing how exciting they could be making to the NFC championship last year. I'm going to go with the commanders. it's a fun division to watch. Fun.
Starting point is 01:16:29 But, you know, if you look at the talks and what people are saying, you know, second year quarterback's usually coming in, they have a downspout. Because people start to figure them out, learn their statistics, know what they like to do. I'm scared that he has a drop off this year. That's the only James, uh, Daniels have a drop off. That's the only part. That's what I'm thinking. I'm saying it's Philadelphia is, you know, obviously Washington last year.
Starting point is 01:16:53 Like they made the playoffs in that incredible run. But ultimately, I think Jay Daniels takes a step back. And that doesn't mean he's not exciting. He showed in this preseason game. You know, he had some scramble for a touchdown. Like, he's going to make electric plays. I just don't know if, like, if that was an anomaly last year. But like you said, now we figure out how to guard him, how to contain him, make him pass, whatever it may be.
Starting point is 01:17:13 I think it's really. But then he can throw the rock. He can throw. Because there's a comparable in the league. It's Lamar Jackson. I mean, Jay Daniels had, you know, all those past yards. He had over 800 rushing yards. True.
Starting point is 01:17:22 Like, he can sling the rock. He also got hurt too. He also got hurt running the ball. He also got hurt running the ball. And they had a Marcus Marriota that can come in and almost simulate the same thing he was doing. But do they have that back up? Marcus dominated that. Dominate.
Starting point is 01:17:37 That's what I'm saying. So he will get hurt because, like you said, he does like to run the ball. He likes to take chances. He put the team on his back. And his catastrophic plays was 16%. That's really high. Whatever, however you say, it was very high. I like that.
Starting point is 01:17:52 Keep that in the back. Spanish. baby yeah catastrophic it was high it was 16% because he threw a lot of interceptions or took a lot of sacks I mean he didn't have a lot of interceptions he had four but he took a lot of sacks when he should have threw the ball away these are things he need to learn learn from are it's going to hurt them in the long run yeah having the awareness I got them in the playoffs yeah yeah yeah it's a the talent yeah I got my talent deep and how deep the eagles are on defense on all
Starting point is 01:18:18 fence he got everything everything when we went to their camp every every position group you look they're like oh shit I don't know he was on the team yeah this guy's he don't even play because there's so many go fuckers yeah they really they really had a stat emphasis they really have a stack squad out there bunch of crazy but i like i want to get excited about the commanders i want to same so i'm kind of just talking myself into the into them over the eagles but and also 2004 last time anybody went back to back it was the eagles but um so who we have one of what in the NFC.
Starting point is 01:18:55 I got the Eagles. Eagles. Eagles. Eagles. I don't know, man. Give me the lions for the same reasons I said, culture, culture, culture. Got to have it. Will? I like the Packers or the Rams.
Starting point is 01:19:10 So you switch back to the Rams, right? After you pick the 40-N-I don't even know what I gave the team just sitting here talking ball with all y'all. Yeah, these guys are probably just like, Will's changed five-year. Yeah. Hey, who did I have as my NFC? winner. You know, whatever.
Starting point is 01:19:30 Wait, what did he just say? He get talked into it. I had the Rams or I had the lions. I'm gonna go, uh, I'm gonna go Packers. Like it. Go Pack, go. Go Pat, go. Go Pat, go. Who'd you take?
Starting point is 01:19:49 I got the Eagles. I got the Eagles. MVP brought to you by True Classic. True Classic MVP is my MVP, Josh Allen. See him in practice. I picked them. to win the AFC, to win their division.
Starting point is 01:20:03 Spoiler alert, I'm picking them to win the Super Bowl. Your boys are going to be at the parade. I'd be diving through tables, pouring mustard to myself. It's all given the back and the hard work of Josh Allen. Go to practice, see him miss two passes. He goes and shakes well a nice hand like an apple to jackass. And you can just tell he's relaxed. He's cool, calm, and confident.
Starting point is 01:20:21 He's doubling down the MVP this year. I'm taking Jalen Hertz to win NFL MVP. I think they got the best team in football. And they don't just take one player. It takes a team for a player to get. the MVP and that's what's going to happen with the Eagles baby my MVP Joe Burrow Joe Burrow just that's it Joe Burrow Joe Burrow I got Lamar Jackson I think you know you look at last year what he's it he should have won it last year I did voter fatigue give it to Josh Allen I don't see him
Starting point is 01:20:48 slowing down at all especially with Derek Henry there also Joe Brady the OC for the bills like we get to we get to camp and he's like I should have wore my boys at like he's he's like ingrained the culture of busting with the boys but instead have talking ball to us he's like you gotta get Josh in a dick joke no one gets them you gotta get him so you got to OC that's bought in to what Josh Allen has bought into very rare for and then he's back to back he's spitting on y'all he's spitting on y'all motherfuckers yeah he didn't get up he got he didn't get john he got his mind says will super bowl pick was the lions but i got the ravens i got the law winning the MVP i got him win the
Starting point is 01:21:29 Super Bowl MVP and I got the Baltimore Ravens. I'm following suit with Clay. Super Bowl whatever winner. What, what Super Bowl are we on? 40s. No. 50, 50, uh, three, four. What is that?
Starting point is 01:21:43 L. L.I.V. No, Liv was last year, right? Liv was last year. So this has to be LV. L. Lix? Damn, I kind of degree with you.
Starting point is 01:21:54 That's 59. That's 59. Yeah, I'm a bad. L is 50. I take away from the X. That was 59? LX is 60. It's the 60th Super Bowl?
Starting point is 01:22:05 So it's LX. LX? It could be. It's the 100th year, right? Yeah, no, because Bonn Miller won MVP Super Bowl 50. It's 60. It's the 100. It's the 60.
Starting point is 01:22:14 Give me the bills. Wow. Give me the bills. I've got ridles. Ravens over Eagles. Ravens, man. Bonds over Packers. Ravens over Eagles.
Starting point is 01:22:25 That's exactly I got. Ravens over Eagles. Texans over dolphins. He went, you rogue, on all of us. And I like the Ravens pick. Yeah, Ravens are solid. None of us said the Chiefs. No one said the Chiefs.
Starting point is 01:22:36 No one said the Chiefs. Because, you know, the Chiefs ain't winning. The Chiefs, I mean, don't say that. They're not. This is the perfect year for Chiefs to go on a rampage mode after what happened. I know last year. Perfect year for them to go nuts. They ain't got it.
Starting point is 01:22:49 I don't think they got it. You're running out of steam. All those extra games. You believe that. All those expectations. Right. But we're going to be sitting here a year from now and be like, the Chiefs fucking earned the Super Bowl again a year from now.
Starting point is 01:22:59 I mean, that's going to shit. on all our beds if that happens. They're here again. They did it again. That's going to, that's going to really, I hope not. I don't think it's going to happen this year. I was, hey, I was hoping to hit my futures player milestone. Plum, I don't even care what you got to say.
Starting point is 01:23:14 We got to, hey, we got to, hey, Eric Henry 10 plus rushing touchdowns minus 600. Conservative, yes. You could go for 12 plus at minus 270, but I'm going to go at 10 plus. Last time Derek Henry didn't hit 10 plus rushing touchdowns, 2,000. 17 year. Makes you think who was blocking for him that year. You feel me? Who was blocking for him? Us. Man, what happened? I didn't even know that. That's my bad boy.
Starting point is 01:23:40 No, that's a 10-600's crazy. I thought we were having a little fun. Yeah, that minus- All right, go plus, all right, 12 plus. I went Aaron Rogers, 4,000 plus 370. I see where you at. I see where you at. Okay. I see where you are. I didn't know we was doing it like that, though. Adding four of them together? Going dumb. Yeah, I was trying to go dumb.
Starting point is 01:23:59 Yeah, he goes dumb. I'm trying to win. A lot of times you go parlayes. And you put together. And you put it in it adds that. Yeah. Yeah. You don't have.
Starting point is 01:24:06 I'm with you. I love it. D.K. Metcalfe. Aaron, nobody talking about him. I love it. 4,000.
Starting point is 01:24:13 4,000. I got Jermann. Timar Gives. Yeah. Jiams. What? Russian yards? 1,000 plus rushing yards.
Starting point is 01:24:20 Minus 2.20. What do you do last year? He was just shy of that. 922 or something like that. Get over the hump this year. Yeah, I got C. C. Yeah, I got C.
Starting point is 01:24:28 C. C. thousand yards you get george pickens people thought it was a distraction the steelers listen you want to live in the world of distractions go to the cowboys you got him uh and cdd's sitting there deck prescott they get in themselves a lot of situations with a behind a little bit deck say what you want about him throws for a billion yards every single year cd is always his go-to-t target you get cdlm a thousand yards he's an absolute stud i got him he never had a thousand yards yet cd no no no he's over a thousand i'm saying he's a stud he's going to knock that part
Starting point is 01:24:56 he's minus 220 in that oh yeah yeah that's a minus two 20 yeah that's a minus two 20 years was three yards away from 3,900 yards last year. So yeah. And that was, yeah, now he's got some. I don't know, look. Only, I don't, I don't know, though, what still is. I want to go 12 plus. I'm telling you, sketch it in.
Starting point is 01:25:11 I want to go 12 plus at, you know, what was that? You were, so you were, I'm sorry, I was trying to get Delaney to go next when you were talking. I was talking about 2017? 2017 was the last time Derek Henry did not score 10 touchdowns. He was, he was splitting reps with, uh, Dion. No, uh, Marco Murray. No, that was 2016. No, no, that was 2016.
Starting point is 01:25:28 No, he was. Lewis. Yeah, Dionne Lewis. He actually wasn't the starting. No, it wasn't. No, 2018, he went off. 2017, I looked because I go, what, he must have hurt. The starter was DeMarco Murray.
Starting point is 01:25:40 Like, when you look at the official, it was DeMarco Murray. I'm not sure, you know, how that season went. That's when DeMarco, I think he got hurt. Yeah, Derek started. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Because, but Dionne Lewis would come in on goal line. That's when Eddie George came out and was like, Derek Henry needs to stop acting.
Starting point is 01:25:54 That's cute. Yeah, like he's cute because he don't want to do goal line. That was going to the 2018 season. He wasn't going to the 2018 season. He wasn't going. He'll run goal line straight into people's backs. So then they'll put short one. Dionne Lewis.
Starting point is 01:26:08 He would score all the touchdowns in the goal line. Yeah. Once Derek figured out how to be Derek in the league, it's over. It was over. Yeah. Love to sit here and take a bunch of credit for that. So those four legs together. Derek Henry 12 plus touchdowns.
Starting point is 01:26:21 Jamir Gibbs 1,000 yards. C.D. Lamb, 1,000 yards. Aaron Rogers, 4,000 yards. Plus 10, 24. I mean, that 1024. Exactly where you want to be. That's what you want to be. That's exactly where you want to be.
Starting point is 01:26:34 Plus what? $10.000 to win $102. There you go. Put $1,000. It's over. A thousand to win $10. Responsibly, there's no guarantees in gambling. However, you got to feel good about this.
Starting point is 01:26:49 It's the closest thing to it. You got to sit down, you got to look at your odds and be like, a lot of opportunity here. Why not take advantage, Clay? Why not? What are you guys playing? No, we were just talking. go big guys, thank you. Yeah, no,
