And guess what?
We created our own podcast called, Hey, Jonas.
We invented a podcast?
Well, we didn't invent it.
We just contributed to it.
We get to ask other people to do podcasts.
We get to ask other people questions because we're sick and tired of being asked questions.
Well, sick and tired is a strong way to put it.
But, you know, tired and sick.
Tired and sick.
Listen to Hey, Jonas, on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever.

Another podcast from some SNL

Unhumor me with Robert Smygel and Friends.
Me and hilarious guests

This week, my guest,
SNL's Mikey Day and head writer
Streeter Seidel,

Where does your group perform?
We do some retirement homes.
Those people are starving for banter.

Every family has its secrets.
But what happens when you discover that your dad has been living a double life?
That is not the look of an innocent man.
Is everyone lying to me about who they are?
I felt such desperation.
I felt it was what I had to do.

Here's something that should not be as complicated as it is, getting a racist statue removed.
And here's something that should be a whole lot easier than it is, getting a new one put up in its place.
I'm Akela Hughes, and Rebel Spirit Season 2 is about both of those things.
As I was watching these statues come down, I was thinking about what it meant that I grew up in a majority black city,
in which there were more homages to enslavers than there were to enslave people.

You bring up, this read brought up NHL.
Who?
We're so close to the Olympics.
We're so close to the get back for America.
What is that?
And what's more?
February 19, the get back would be for hockey in this case.
Oh, hockey.
Oh, okay.
I'm about to say, we're not in basketball.
Did you watch a four nation tournament?
I was going to say is the get back for the four nations?
Four nations.
No, I didn't watch it.
You'd watch it?
You don't love America?
Was it on TV?
Buddy.
It was on TV.
They were doing like an all-star break like basketball does, like a Pro Bowl, like NFL,
but they decided, hey, we're going to move that out of the way.
We're doing America, Canada, Sweden, and Finland.
The four nations tournament.
So they think their best players that are in the NHL and they put them on their country's team.
Canada clearly has been the dominator in all of hockey for the longest time.
They hold it with pride even though it's not their nation's game.
It's actually curling.
we go and they're like laughing at us people in canada are like fuck america all these different
things like oh we're going to get them go ahead they boo during the national anthem they booed
bro yeah let me set this canada yes it's in like uh it's in edmonton toronto it's in one of those
cities and montreal thank you what it's called providence which is like even canada's like
france right it's like that's their louisiana yeah yeah the national anthem takes place
They got the cool lights with the American flag.
They boo the national anthem.
They boo America's national anthem.
Puck drops, five on five.
Fist fight right away.
They beat the shit out of them.
Then we go, we win the game, I think right, like two minutes left, right, win like three to two.
And I'm butchering that.
So there has now been this crazy rivalry taking place.
Canada ends up winning.
So like the four nations tournament, Finland, see ya, Sweden, see ya.
It's all about America and Canada.
They go and they play.
They go to overtime.
and that son of a bitch Connor McDavid who's probably the most overrated cat
overrated cat who's one of the best players in that in hockey like baby baby gun status
well yeah most of them all that's what was fun about watching it is this is in the middle of their
nchal season yeah all these dudes care enough about having this four nations tournament
to where dudes are getting injured and they still have a season to play in the nachev you wouldn't see
that you wouldn't see that in the NFL you think i don't think we can do that in nifil
tainan's up in canada during this the four nations thing but he just
But even if we did.
She has a watch party with her family and we're between periods like calling each other.
Who she's rooting for?
Obviously she's from Canada, bro.
She's exploiting Americans.
No doubt.
No doubt.
Now, I'll tell you what about Taylor.
She's come a long way on American pride.
Okay.
She's coming up.
She used the word we a lot now.
I'm like, oh shit, okay, honey.
I see you.
Instead of A.
But if they're watching this, but A.
At the West Coast they say, hey.
Hey, how do you feel like this, hey?
Instead of A.
It's weird.
I don't know.
But if Taylor was watching this right now, she's still Canada.
She's like, oh, okay.
I'm not.
She's candidate like when this takes place.
She's got the kids room for kids.
A house divided though, like when the Olympics come up here?
I've been a house divided since like November 5th, buddy.
Like whenever these tariffs started taking place, I'm like,
you guys better pay up.
You guys better start figuring it out before we have to figure it out for you.
It sounds kind of nice.
But even if the NFL did do it, guys wouldn't compete the way these NHL guys are competing.
You don't think they're making a NBA.
Signed a deal.
No, no, no.
We're not talking about the, hold on.
No, no, no, I'm just.
What are you going to do you have to do.
We're talking about like football you can't do it.
Well, obviously everyone's from damn near America.
Yeah, you couldn't do it.
But I'm saying in the NBA.
But if you broke it up in the regions of the U.S.,
like there's a lot of pride, people being like, oh, football and Texas, Louisiana,
or Ohio.
It wouldn't be too long.
It would be too long.
The Southwest would takeover.
Yeah, that would be awesome.
Yeah.
That would be sick, but it wouldn't be like the four nations.
It was just weird.
Four regions.
The four regions.
Hey, boy.
Hunger games type shit.
Yeah.
So, wait, they booed.
They booed the national.
Oh, Delaney, can't get over the nation.
And the first 18 seconds of the game, there were three fights.
Canada was also chating, fuck the elaine.
Yeah, Trudeau said something.
I would have loved you too.
But dude, so now the Olympics are taking place and all these things are like this, this rivalry
between Canada, America is like coming to a head and the Olympics are going to be unreal.
The thing about the Olympics is guys who have dual citizenship can either play for either
their country or the U.S.
Yes, yes, but they don't.
Also, big showing from Arizona boys as well.
The Cachuk brothers, Matthews, who's the captain of the Toronto Maple Leafs, which is a Canadian team, but they're one of the original six.
Austin Matthews, thank you.
They're both.
All three of them are from Scottsdale.
And their captains of their team.
So Arizona's having a nice showing as well.
I think we're going to be all right.
You know, I think we're going to be all right.
You don't watch.
I love hockey.
I just didn't know about this game.
Talent.
Talent wise.
You say no about the Olympics.
You love hockey.
You just ain't know about it.
Winter Olympics.
Not since Sean White.
Yeah.
Yeah.
He loves the game.
He just ain't know about the four-nage tournament.
Yeah.
I didn't know if it's coming out.
I know if it's coming up.
I know.
I'm a ex-game guy.
You know what I'm a mess with that.
Tony Hawk?
I'm an ex-game guy.
Yeah.
I'm a ex-Konger.
Winter games.
You know, meta-malicia?
You know, meta-malicia?
I was about to say, you know what I'm saying?
You got to think about that.
Deegan in them.
Killing him.
First one to land in 360.
Well, it's called the militia twist.
from what's your boy
Travis. Travis did it. Travis was doing it in the pit.
Then he did it first on ground. So when you're doing it on ground,
you can name it. And then that's when he called them in the list.
Just like the first backflip done was called by a guy named Mike Hart.
Mike Hart. So they call it the Hart flip for a long time. Now they just called a
backflip. Okay. Yeah. But the first dude who landed it, I forget his name.
Well, Hart landed it first, but then he fell when he landed it.
Then the second guy landed it and did a two. He came off and then did another one.
I'm in the motorcross.
Yeah, I know.
Free style.
Some light.
Some light.
He'll be here in April.
Yeah.
You want to do something with them.
I know.
I went with you.
But hey, that four nations tournament, like, dude, these Winter Olympics are going to get juicy.
Yeah.
I don't know if you want to reveal, but don't you have a bet for Canada, America, with somebody.
Yeah.
So Kyle from Nelk, he's Canadian, and we've gone back and forth a little bit.
Matt Malone, our local hockey guy, he's putting together a nice little bet between the two of us.
About going to nation's capitals, dressing up in uniforms, that type of thing.
Something fun.
with this with the Olympics.
That's yet to be seen.
We need a Kyle to agree to it.
TBD.
Matt's still got to send me the thing I'm going to send to Kyle
and then Kyle is going to respond and we'll know.
But are you, is the bet only if they play each other
in the champion, like the main for the gold?
Minor details.
We'll figure all that out later.
A lot of negotiating.
A lot of negotiating.
A lot of it's like, ain't there a bet,
what were you saying right before the show started?
And I was like, what are you talking about?
Same for the show.
Hang on, hang on.
Before we get to that,
what was you going to say about the
NBA. I was just saying I think there could be a world where you get rid of the All-Star game because nobody watches that in the NBA. And you have a four nations, you know, I've just got to get America, maybe Spain. There's got to be like a Slovenia or something over there. And same with NFL and football. But I see you? I just feel like the basketball guys and the football guys wouldn't be, yeah, yeah, there's too much money involved to where they just wouldn't, they wouldn't have the same pride that the hockey guys have. But you see the pride team USA had in the Olympics.
this past year.
Let's just look with Steph going off in the fourth,
like obviously there's great pride in country.
But yeah,
in the middle of the season,
it might be tough when you're making guaranteed
$300 million contracts.
Right.
Whereas hockey,
I'm not sure with the average.
They're fully guaranteed
but their money's lower.
But I'm sure they signed a contract
to play.
Yeah.
I'm sure they got some type of payment
to play in this.
Yeah, but somebody,
I remember someone got hurt
in this four nations where it's like,
was it worth it?
But you know, bro,
these hockey dudes,
Let's just say they're build different.
They're different.
They're built different.
Buddy, the hockey boys at Michigan, that's where I learned poop dollar.
They have these weird, fun games that they play all the time.
And they're always rolling together.
They're mobbing a pack.
It's like the gymnast girls and the hockey boys.
They all just mob in a pack together.
And it's close-knit group.
It's like 15 guys on a team as opposed to, like, what, college football is 110?
Yeah.
So you, like, kind of don't know everybody's name at some points.
No, we groups.
I know you didn't.
I know nobody's name.
Yeah, he didn't know nobody's name.
He knew like three guys' names.
They got a person.
They got to earn it.
You gotta be playing.
You gotta be playing.
You gotta be playing.
These hockey guys, bro, they just, they're always together.
Like Red Benson, who is the, like a legendary hockey coach for Michigan, he would tell
the boys like, hey, no alcohol tonight, just beer.
Like it's just a different culture.
They just run a different way.
A good group of boys.
That's a real thing about in the name recognition.
Oh, no, I've heard this.
In fact, what pains me is as close as we've gotten, like, you wouldn't have cared to know me
in college.
And that kind of upsets me.
No, we wouldn't have known each other in college.
No, brother. You were tight-in.
You would have been talking shit, been like, you can't talk.
You can't get hurt.
It's just, it makes me a little upset.
No, I woulda fuck with it.
I'm the shit talker always talking shit to everybody on the team.
Would you do that went hard, like going out and stuff in college?
No, not at all.
See, I feel like he wouldn't have been a white boy that you, no.
You allowed to, Clay, he is square.
He's not.
I would have been like, cousin square, but he's a beach.
Like, he don't do that.
You've been out of the time.
You'd be a big of a guy.
You'd say, I would have been like he ain't on that.
No, you'd have been like he ain't on that.
No, you would have said some disrespectful.
I would have been here.
Clay would have walked in the locker room
as you were walking on.
Yeah.
Man, weren't your daddy good?
What's going on?
Oh yeah.
I would have, yeah.
I would say something like, I got some of that stuff.
I would be like, you'll walk on.
Ain't your daddy in the league?
Well, yeah.
Still?
Yeah, still playing?
Jesus.
Money was different.
Yeah.
How do you feel, Clay?
How do you feel about your season?
Your first full season?
I felt like I was, I was seeing the field at one point.
Then I might have dove into it too deep.
And then like now it's just, it's not, it's not aligning.
Yeah.
I think I should have the award for the most almost wins.
Yeah.
Like I picked the Patriots, they won, but they didn't cover, you know.
Rams had fourth and four.
Did you not go Patriot money?
I thought I picked Patriots.
Well, can we check that?
Because I don't really trust Ryan over there.
Yeah, I would have thought you go money on.
I took Patriots as well.
I took Patriots five and a half.
I moved the line to two and a half.
I was the one who moved, I thought I did that as well.
Nah, I don't think you did.
That's the thing, though, these lines, this, this.
Patriots, Mike, too, I thought he got on with that.
Deserves the belt.
Did he?
I thought Clay got on with that.
It's okay, though.
Because the units are still coming in.
All right, that's all, that's how it is.
But 56 and 65.
Oh, but those aren't units.
That's just a record.
You know what I'm saying?
Like, I was new to this.
Like, I came in here just having fun.
Shits and giggles.
You know what I mean?
Just turning the show upside down.
Yeah.
You know, letting Delaney be himself.
We all just enjoying the show and my man crashing out.
Like, that's what I'm here for, you know?
Like, no one cares about the bet.
Yeah.
You're a puppeteer.
But you ask me, if I'm invited back, you know.
It's not to you guys.
You invite.
Do you want to come back?
I'm like Matthew Stafford, MVP.
Like, we all know I'm the MVP, okay, right?
But I got to take some time and think about this.
It's too, like the loss, the emotional loss,
the psychological toll is too much right now.
Right.
So I'm going to think about this.
We might have to talk numbers.
You know what I'm saying?
I know that.
Oh, we know.
Yeah.
We know that's really the only hand up here.
I mean, I got people,
I got lawnmower companies calling me now saying they want on the show.
You know, I'm just.
Well, you want a piece.
He's trying to help grow the pie.
I'm just trying to grow.
He's trying to help grow the pie.
He's trying to grow his wallet more than anything.
Hey, brother.
We're all out to get ours.
Didn't you do well in the NFL?
Fantastic.
Highest paid defensive player at one point.
Really?
Yeah.
That's from a distance.
That's tough.
Did you get highest paid?
Tried in.
Highest paid?
I would fact check that.
No, look it up.
Hang on.
Hang on.
Hang on.
Hang on.
Hang on.
Delaney me to make a lot of money.
I would just fact check that.
I'll make it 10 million a year.
Hey, Taylor.
Taylor, you got highest paid to a tackle?
I was trying to round that up.
Hey, hey.
You got a fact check that.
Angle, angle, angle.
We can all wait right now.
Biggest signing bonus for a free agent acquisition?
Let's just say yes to keep the DAPS.
Yeah, we'll figure that.
We'll find something.
$4,500.
We'll find something in there.
Yeah.
I mean, beating the odds more than anybody.
Undrafted Cat, maybe the highest performance bonus
Oh, yeah.
It does a $1,000 or $1,000.
Yeah.
Gotta be up there.
On the team, yes.
On the team.
Got to be up there.
I would say, though, when we played against Will, I didn't,
know you was undrafted.
How we talked about you and the meeting,
it made it seem like you was.
Man, that's really nice.
That's gonna be nice.
Hey, that's all.
They were talking about, hey, Compton,
they don't say much about him,
but that dude flies around, he has a fucking motor.
They were saying, I'm like, oh, man.
We should be more like you.
Oh, whoa.
You should be more like, and I even told.
Got something in his eyes.
I even told him, man, I fucks with Compton.
Oh, and he knew it.
When he came, I told him that too.
When he came to him for a city.
I was like, I fuck with him.
What if his last name wasn't Compton?
I probably wouldn't fuck with it.
If his name wasn't Compton,
it wouldn't have worked.
It would have been a much longer.
You're not remembering a white boy.
You're not remembering a white boy.
Yeah, it would have been a lot of time.
But like, 2015, we played the Redskins.
I remember walking by Comble,
oh, look at us, man.
He said, we're doing it.
Yeah.
And we just got back in.
Just a couple of white boys out here survive.
Meanwhile, Brian Arackpost,
trying to put me in a fucking blend.
Yeah, yeah.
Jesus, this guy's good.
Hey, how about five and two?
That's crazy.
That's great.
How many bets did we put down last year?
I will do what a baker's dozen.
I can't believe it was only seven.
But when I took the time to put in that parlay, that parlay hit.
Which one?
The one with the Rams plus seven.
Yeah, the Rams.
Good.
The one, can we count mine?
Because I had like a 10-leger that hit again, but I just don't post it.
There you go.
There you go.
Kenneth Walker, anytime touchdown, Stafford over 253 and a half.
Puka, 6 plus receptions, JASN, 5 plus,
Kairn Williams, 30 plus rushing yards,
Rams plus seven and a half.
That one hit.
Hit.
All right.
Hey, I got-
Juice me up.
I was fired up.
Because I didn't get to watch
I'm asking people like, hey.
So I remember I was on the phone with a clump.
I want to say JSN already had over like five receptions in the first half.
I was like, where Spook at?
He's like, I think he has four right now.
I was like, oh, the parlay.
I had a nine leg on that game.
Can I get those?
No.
No?
No, I did it after.
I had to invest.
We got nine receptions.
So because what we're going to have on this game that we're
talking about how I was able to get like seven games in or seven straight bets or whatever
we want to call it. We don't have all the straight lines out right now. Okay. As we're doing
this show. So people, we're going to have to put our brains together on the straights that
we're going to put toward the record that we will have to post on social, I assume. Yeah.
Mine? But I'm saying on the, oh, oh, you're saying if we're, if we're retroactively
counting. The way, the way we said. Yeah, we got to find them else too now.
The way we said, y'all saw my ails this last weekend.
It was UFC though, but I was close, though.
I was close.
Which Lampusen are out?
Because the receiving rush.
A lot of the player ones are just, they're all, they're all alt yards right now.
But the reason Will was able to get five was because you took them as straights as well.
Yeah, like Stapford over whatever.
He didn't part land.
He didn't part land.
They are out right now if you guys want to look quick.
They are?
Yeah, I have, I got a 13-leger.
I mean, I'm taking.
In the holster right now.
Mine is going to be butter.
My shit is butter right now.
Do we want to talk Paul-Lage?
Show.
Show me.
me this.
Pause the show.
I got to see what you're looking at.

Hey, it's us, the Jonas Brothers, and guess what?
We have some big news.
What's the news, new?
Huge news.
We created our own podcast called, Hey Jonas.
We invented a podcast?
Well, we didn't invent it.
We just contributed to our...
We're the first people to do podcasts.
Pretty, yeah, pretty wide range of podcasts throughout there.
But this one's extra special.
So how do we actually come up with a name, Hey Jonas, guys?
I honestly don't remember.
I think it was on a call about what we should call it.
And we were thinking I'm originally calling it.
one of the early names of our band
before Jonas Brothers
was...
This is how you guys remember it going down?
Yes.
I have a very different memory of this.
We were talking about a thing,
a bit for the podcast
where people could call in and say,
Hey Jonas.
And then I wrote down on my little notepad,
Hey Jonas,
and offered it up as a potential title
for the podcast.
But thanks for remembering that, guys.

Another podcast from some SNL late-night comedy guy,
not quite on Humor Me with Robert Smygel and Friends.
Me and hilarious guests from Bob Odenkirk to David Letterman
help make you funnier.
This week, my guest, S&L's Mikey Day and head writer, Streeter Seidel,
help an a cappella band with their between songs banter.
Where does your group perform?
We do some retirement homes.
Those people are starving for banter.

your podcasts. There are times when the mind becomes a difficult place to live. This is David
Eagleman with the Inner Cosmos podcast, and for Mental Health Awareness Month, we're dedicating
a series to understanding the mind when it struggles. I'm joined by doctors, researchers,
and those with lived experience. We'll talk with singer-songwriter Jewel about anxiety. I started
living in my car, and then my car got stolen. I was shoplifting. I was having panic attacks. I was
and making it through hardship.
To be present is a learned skill, and it's hard to be present.
We'll talk with John Nelson about clinical depression and the brain implant that saved his life.
What I learned is that procedure made me happy because I'm disease-free.
And we'll talk with leading experts like Judd Brewer about anxiety,
and John Hirschfield about obsessive-compulsive disorder,
and the science of how the brain can change.
This is a month of deeply personal and honest conversations about what happens when the brain goes off course and what we can do about it.

I wholeheartedly think, you know, you hit 30, you shouldn't have to share one with anybody.
Mm-hmm.
From navigating friendships and healing to setting boundaries and prioritizing your mental health.
These are real, honest conversations.
We don't always get to have out loud.
Totally unreasonable with different parts of life, right?
Like, oh, have all three meals and make sure you're mindful during all of them?
Absolutely not.
During one meal, I'm standing.
I'm standing and handing my children food.
Because healing, empowerment, and resilience.
aren't just ideas, their practices.
And this Mental Health Awareness Month,
there's no better time to pour back into yourself.

We're back in. The lines are on the app.
The lines are on the app.
I was pressing on.
I got the Jared Beeman podcast going on in my phone right now.
Delaney, what type of contract did you get when you came from San Francisco?
Like, how were you looked at as a tight end?
Because I know we've talked about this.
When I played against you, when you were on the San Francisco 49ers,
you always played second tier to Vern.
I don't mean that in a negative way.
But like, they weren't using you to obviously your potential.
So what type of contract?
What other teams were pursuing?
Well, I had four teams pursuing me.
And they all was around, you know, three years, 18 to 20 million.
Was that good at the time?
That was good for me.
I was a backup.
I was a backup.
They only average, my seven years, I only had 60 catches.
Because I was just blocking.
Yeah, I was just blocking.
And that's what they told me, like, you are blocking tight-in,
but we want you to be a past threat.
Everyone kept saying that.
But when I got to the tightings, they said,
we got Craig Stevens.
We just need you to be a past threat.
And I said, oh, shit.
Craig Stevens?
Yeah.
Craig Stevens.
What did you sign when you first came to Tennessee?
He was a dog, walking tight-in, white boy.
Not a white boy.
18 million.
So that's a good deal coming out being, like,
you didn't seem being labeled as a.
I was making, I got, I was making,
I signed a deal with the 49.
second year with the 49ers, I signed a deal
$3 million. So I read up
two years, $3 million. And so
I wasn't making shit, like really.
And then when I came here, they gave me that. I said,
cool. Then the next two years after
that, I read up again. Then two years again,
I read up again. Every two years I just
went to the table. Yeah, Delaney and Ben Jones
guys, like every other camp.
They come in and be like, got me a new one.
I pick it. How the fuck?
How do they keep doing this?
Got me a new one. Yeah. Like, oh, damn.
All right. Get me.
Like, what year on YouTube?
It's so funny seeing an old greeny film of Delaney blocking.
Because when I got to the time, Delaney was already, you were there for one year before I got there.
Yeah, one year.
So Delaney was on his, man, y'all need to know how to block.
I know how to block, but nobody else can block but me, but I don't block.
It was always this.
I'm like, is this cat block?
Like, I don't understand.
He would always be on routes.
Would never block anymore.
But he'd always talk about how great of a blocker he was.
And then we had to put on the film.
What he got after a little bit?
Darnel Washington type.
Oh, yeah.
I used, when I brought into it, because they, like, if you want to play, you got a block.
Vernon is going to catch the passes.
I'm like, well, fuck it.
I'm trying to play.
So I'm about the game.
I was, I was yoked up.
Number 46.
Is that a 46?
Yoked up.
Dude was never in the weight room.
Yoked up, right.
He'd come back from break.
Look at the skin.
Go to Israel.
You know what I'm Hebrew, Israel like now.
Look at a little different.
He gained like 20 pounds muscle.
Yeah, yeah.
I came back.
He's like, where fuck you been, man?
I'm like, Israel.
You like, you ain't work out?
And I said, nah, you like, fuck.
Muscled up.
Yeah.
He went, like my third year, he went somewhere.
The original Monstar over here.
I quit out of pork.
Yes, bro.
He'd just be in the steam room.
All day.
Doing dips and push-ups.
Yeah, all day.
I got mine in.
Like, fuck.
All right.
Bro, my 150s on bench.
I'm not seeing nothing.
Like, when I'm just kind of getting to know everybody,
like you have the team workouts and everything else,
but don't even never be in the team workouts.
And then, like, afterwards, you know,
you hit the sauna.
A steam room.
Tennessee had a steam room.
I wander in there.
It's all, you know, you got the steam going on.
I kind of, like,
worked my weight to the back and I sit down and there's just Delaney sitting there with the
boom box going rap music playing and he's just he's just on the he's just on the side he's just he's
just hitting the prison workout what do he's on doing my workout in hell yeah I was like they count
that for the teamwork he's like yeah you know I got a different I got kind of a different setup no
I walk in a different setup also a guy that had a face routine that took 45 minutes as well
face routine yeah yeah yeah yeah he'd be in there exfoliated for about 25 he had facial every day
I brush my teeth, do my hair, my face every day.
You got to bring back that little dangle.
I used to be in that blow dry.
They all look at blow drying, blow on my face, brushing my teeth.
Hey, I don't know where I'm going after this.
I don't know where I'm going out.
You get a little dread hanging like Black Panther.
He used to blow dry them and shit, hang them down.
Yeah, I was, you know, it was the league, man.
You got to play the part.
Yeah.
But that's what they said.
I would go into the weight room and he'd be like,
feel the the the the strength coach was he'd be like how you feel I'm like a little tight
little tight today back's a little stiff you like what's you want you want to do a
stadium work out yeah yeah I come in here a little later going there I sit in the
locker room watch cops for a little bit because I got to let them get started I can't
be free walking through that motherfucker when they're working out so I watch cops get a good
10 minutes of cops and original cops get a little sweat going to go let's go get a little
Cubs.
Then I go set that steam room to 100 and something because I got to have it hot, hot.
I've been in there for like 30 minutes.
Start busting down.
Do my push-up, dips, abs.
And then just show up on game day for 110, get like $1,100 that year.
Literally only passing threat for two years.
Yeah, I just said, it's dope though.
It would be like, you don't have to.
How was your quarterback at the time?
Steam room don't get, it didn't get hot like that.
Bro, yes, it does.
Yes, he did.
But he ain't crazy.
Him being in there 30 minutes talking to God.
But a hot one, he ain't in there 30 minutes.
I got so.
No, he's in there.
I would believe that Delaney would tap out on 30 minutes before I believe that the Titans
steam room wasn't hot.
Okay, okay, yeah, yeah.
You spend 10 minutes in that.
Because there are some steam rooms where you just sit in there and it's like it doesn't.
No, always getting hot.
The son of we were saying you ain't sitting in there for 30 minutes in that type of hotness.
I was a, bro, I'm so good at sitting in the steam room.
I could sit like a motherfucker.
I was a demand in that.
It's just mental toughness, right?
As long as I got my boombox in there and five gator rates,
I'm chomping that shit down.
Sugar going to go through it.
Electrol lights in every last one of them.
I got them all sitting there.
I'm sweating everything I done smoked out of me.
Yeah.
That you allegedly smoked out of you.
Yeah.
How crazy would the locker room get
like when the test are coming in OTAs?
The first wave gets tested out.
The first wave is like, we're free.
We're free.
That's it.
And in the game.
We didn't test.
And you wouldn't be able to, you wouldn't get tested until camp.
And guys would be like, hey, man, you test it?
No.
Oh, that's tough.
Because you got to, you're going home.
We know you're going home.
You got to come back.
I'm like, I'd rather get tested during OTAs than training camp.
Absolutely.
Because you go from like, you go from March not doing nothing.
Then you get OTAs.
And you're like, hopefully I'm that first way.
Because they do like right in the beginning, a middle and one right at the end.
You're like, if I get that first one, I'm good for the rest of the year.
But if you get to the end of OTAs and they don't test you,
now you've gone from March to June.
And you got to wait essentially to late.
July. Yeah. So that's a whole deal. That was scary. I mean, you know, I'm like, give me OTA,
give me, give me, give me. And in training camp too, you'd have to wake up super early.
Super early. Yeah. Super fucking early. Clay, you brought up a UFC. I like that. I love that.

Diego had that cemention.
I think Diego gets his this time.
All you got to do is visit fendul.com slash bussen to get in on the action.
That's fandle.com slash bussen.
opt into the profit boost token and get ready for this week.
against matchups break down your strategy when you were like bouncing around a little bit and your
strategy of like understanding your levels in COVID yeah so we got to COVID I started I started taking
the vitamins when I turned 27 first time I did it was with the angelo hall that was the peer pressure
that got me to to start you know hitting some vitamins but anyway fast forward or anyway fast forward
I get to Tennessee and uh Tennessee goes on it I was always I was always
my mind was always blown how guys would test positive for marijuana because again a month before
OTAs comes like the union sends out on email like hey if you have been smoking like tapered start
tapering off you know tests will happen either in April first wave second wave third way whatever
but so after a couple years when we got stuck in the house with COVID I ordered all of
these piss cups to figure out you know if I put a gummy in or if I'd get high like
how quickly it would metabolize and get out of my body.
So I would, like, test my piss every day with, like, cuffs.
Like, that's how bored I was to figure out how quick.
I would just, why don't you just get off it?
Well, I'm wondering, like, because I wanted to test the system.
I wanted to test the system of, you know, seeing how quickly you get out of your body.
So if you, you know, when guys would be like, oh, okay, I'm about the test.
You know, in college, guys would want you, guys would, like, approach you to pitch for.
Delay was the front of the class during the day.
Like, you never happened to me in the NFL, but I'm saying,
college guys would want you to piss for them.
And I would always just think of my mind, how do guys get so, like, down to last wire
culture where they couldn't do it for a couple of days.
So I was just curious to, you know, if I did it three days in a row, how long it'd take
to now get out of my system after three days in a row, I piss every day.
Or if I did it one day.
How are you testing it too?
Is there like an at home test?
Yeah, you get these piss cups.
Like a chlorine test?
But you'll just have these piss cups in it or like tell you the levels of what you're,
of what marijuana is, the level of marijuana in your system.
So you knew four days, three.
three days before you could take it up to the brink and that's where you have to shut it off because of your research.
Yes, yeah. You had a good, say you strung several days together in the row. You need a good
48 hours to get out of your system. But say you did it for one day, like you wouldn't need it
no more than like 24 hours to get. Metabolize faster or something. Okay. It's all dependent on
other people too. Like I think body fat has a big piece of how fast it gets out of your system.
Yeah. Dude, we had a guy in high school that was like not allowed to play for a certain periods
because his levels were too high. You always be talking about the levels with the head.
I was like joking what the head goes, like, I got my levels down.
I've been like 17 years old, like, I can't believe this kid.
Yeah.
Just can't stop smoking weed.
What a-staking playful.
Yeah.
Bro, I had like a box of 50 Piscop.
And let's just say, I don't know what the level was.
Let's just say 0.5.
THC level of 0.5.
To where say I'd take a gummy or hit the vape and then the next day I would test my level.
Let's just say it was at 0.6.
10 hours would go by, I'd test again to see how much it dropped or got lower.
And that's how I'd kind of figure out,
long it took to get it metabolized out of my system.
Okay.
Vitamins.
The levels are up though.
So after that last agreement we made, we raised the levels of T.HC.
So you can have a little bit higher level.
We started the new CBA.
It started?
Raised higher to where it was like, nobody should be failed.
You shouldn't fail now because they raised it a little high.
If you got a problem.
You got a problem.
If that's what they said, if you failed this test, that means you smoke in 10
blunts a day at the most.
You know what I'm saying?
You change smoking.
Yeah.
And if you failed a test now.
I never understood how guys could do it.
that. Like guys getting high to play games. That that is crazy. Like I high school I did it but
once I got to college I couldn't do it and then NFL I definitely I couldn't even play man I took a
fucking a pain pill and I went the wrong way like the first play of the game. Yeah. Taking anything
before a game to me was like no shot no shot. You never a gummy guy post game? He never done it.
I don't dabble yeah. Oh you've never dabbled yeah you know you drink? Yeah I just
You see the way he's sitting there where you're telling the story.
He's like, mm-hmm, yeah, okay.
Like, he's a cat that sat in the front of the class.
Like, he's just fresh out of a dare program.
Yes, exactly.
Session.
He's like, you want to say you'll never reach your full potential.
Yeah, you know, I'm gonna pray for you tonight.
I know you're addicted, but I'm gonna have to, I'll talk with him.
The officer sat there.
He's like, if you do a drug one time in your life,
you will die.
You will never reach your full potential.
I understand, they're like,
damn, you could have made it to 10 years, bro.
No, no, no, no, no.
No?
It would be after the best times would be after away games
where when you get on the flight
and you're just throwing a gummy.
You just get that body.
A little pen.
Or the pen.
It's in a plane.
Made a little turbulence.
We're all on the pen under the coverage.
Coach come by, you play it like you sleep.
He said no, me.
He would ask you because you.
You're the flight back from London.
Then they start passing out the chocolate chip cookies.
Really?
Oh, bro.
I ain't going to cat.
Anytime someone come near me,
I play like I'm asleep.
Especially if I took the dummy or fit it up.
Or if I been drinking, as soon as I see a coach,
anybody come there, I just pay like I'm asleep.
I don't even want to talk to them, cut.
Wasn't your coach hand in the mouth though?
Because he got pulled over on the 65 over here.
Oh, dang.
I was new to Tennessee, but I remember seeing the body can put it in.
I ain't going to say his name.
That was your coach.
It was Todd.
I didn't go say his name.
No, no, no.
Packers.
That same game.
Yep.
I'm not going to say his name.
Who gets us the drink.
I'm not going to say who brings.
The drink.
Somebody brings a drink?
Of course.
There's a guy of Titans that would put, like you get to your seat.
I would just know because the fellas would have a gym bag and stuff.
It was already right here.
Hey, that's changing.
Robert Saul is here now.
No, it ain't going to change.
It's changing.
It ain't going to change.
It needs to change.
It started to get stricter when the thing went down you were just talking about.
Oh, he didn't get pulled over.
There was a big NFL thing.
I wasn't there.
They were really strict on it.
Yeah, we were both gone.
Yeah.
You left?
Like, they let you out and you.
Yeah.
Yeah.
They allowed them out.
Yeah.
Release them back into the wild.
You think he'll ever?
Try vitamin?
I don't know.
Hey, this show is not the time, dude.
Your pressure, Colleen.
I just feel like we'd have fun, bro.
Clay would be fun.
It was crazy paranoid.
That first time, I was...
With DeAngelo?
Very paranoid, yeah.
But he...
I thought I got left at a restaurant.
And apparently only five minutes it went by.
But I swear to God I went through like three things of chips and salsa.
and I'm kind of sitting there by myself.
I feel like everybody's looking at me.
I feel like everybody knows that I'm there.
And I'm like, I'm hitting up D.
I'm like, you got to get me out of here.
You got to get me out of here.
And he's driving me home and said, hey, come, you just got to relax, bro.
Like you're real paranoid right now.
Like, bro, you weren't in there with training day.
How many milligrams?
I thought he left me.
How many milligrams?
I smoked on that one.
Oh, yeah, yeah.
I didn't smoke for a while.
I was more of just a gummy guy.
Okay, yeah.
That's why I hit you.
But I was.
Gummies and flour do different things to you.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
We had a guy, we would go to line trips every year to Vegas,
and we'd obviously stop at like whatever, the little centers
and we pick up a bunch of stuff.
And we had a quarterback with us.
He was a backup quarterback.
And he took like a five,
and he hit him with the classic.
After an hour, he was like, I don't feel anything.
Give me another one.
Took another one.
And we were like roommates for that weekend.
So I'm in like Ben Jones room.
He's got in the nice little sweet or whatever.
That's when we all hang out.
We play cards and relax.
I get a text from him, this guy.
And he's like, you need to come back to the room.
right now. So I go back to the room. He's paranoid. It's the same thing. Like kind of freaking out.
Hey, everyone knows him. Hi. Everyone knows. Everyone knows. You're going to be fine.
Everyone, no one's judging you right now.
Lay him on the bed. Lay next to him. We watch like Coco, the Disney movie.
I was in Vegas just sitting there watching like three Disney movies with him while he just like
quietly came down. Tripping out. Got up eventually. He's like, all right, I'm better.
I'm like, you want to go outside now? He's like, yeah. It's just him like peering out in the sun.
Nothing like that. It got to wear off though. Once he wear off, you're good.
Nothing like that fear that hit you.
Like, say you eat like a half of browning.
You're like, 45 minutes go by.
You're like, I don't feel nothing.
You're like, let me do another one.
Then we're at when you do the other one.
Within five minutes, you're feeling the first one.
You're like, oh, fuck.
Here we go.
You double, you double dose.
You fucked up.
You fuck up.
You're going to have a hoot.
You're going to change a couple channels.
That's all you want to do.
Not just rewire the whole system.
We'll get you there.
Okay.
What do we got today?
We got a, dude, there's actually a big game coming up.
Do you want to talk about it?
Let's talk about the big game.
We're talking about the big game,
where we're going back to our future.
Let's hit some futures real quick.
We recap.
We hit on this.
Well, that was before the show.
Let's do a little recap.
We hit on this.
We did the future show.
Future Mileson.
Let's see Clay 2 and 11.
We hit on this shit.
We did the futures,
and this is Clay's first episode,
for the first real episode of being with Boston with the boys,
the locker room.
He did a couple of a year prior,
but this is like his first one,
prepared, had notes,
maybe a little laptop in the corner.
This man goes on and take his future picks,
and you picked every single,
favorite. The Packers were favorites over the Lions? Yeah, they were because they traded for
my dad. Yeah. Right after that. They're like Super Bowl favorites. And you went one, two,
three, four. I got the Eagles right and I missed on every other one. One and seven. Hell yeah.
But. But I also, I also just went one and seven though. I went one and seven. Yeah, I know.
Tough sled. So well, I'm looking at my division champions. Seven out of
of my teams made the playoffs.
It feels like a dove, yeah.
Are we talking about playoffs then?
No, these are division champions.
Division chance.
I got picked the bills.
Those are the Patriots.
Yeah, yeah.
Everyone got the bucklers.
Texans didn't win it.
Jaguars did it.
Broncos, Eagles, Packers, bucks and Rams.
Do we talk about playoff teams?
Because I remember saying...
I don't think we did playoff.
That'd be a new one to have this year.
The NFC West, I said there was going to be three playoff teams out of there.
And I also said the NFC...
Well, I guess they can't be.
I don't know. It's too long ago.
Too long ago. That's in the past.
That's August.
Now we're doing with an ice storm.
So yeah, these didn't go well.
No.
It was kind of what it is, right?
Well, Delaney did well.
Who was the best record?
Yeah, I mean.
Best record from the futures to final records from the futures.
Delaney, best records five and eight.
So you lost money, but Delaney won.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
All right.
I'm just, if people rode these.
People rode these.
If people rode.
I took underdogs.
So I'm a plundie.
That's odd.
You might be right.
Units whenever we transition.
Transition to units.
So the futures didn't go well for the locker room this year.
It is what it is.
Do we want to talk about the big game or do we want to talk about our juicy parlays?
Do the big games.
I haven't put my, I haven't put my Super Bowl Willie Parlay together.
Haven't done it yet.
So we'll have to focus on your socials to see what that is.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Again, because without internet over the last couple of days,
like not getting to watch the games was brutal.
Did you end up being able to watch the games?
I watched last night on PFF.
What was your thoughts?
Seahawks, Rams game was electric.
I feel like Kenneth Walker is a dog.
Yeah.
And who's old buddy from the Ginkgox, JP?
The Nick, E. Monroe?
Yeah.
E.M. Worry?
This dude wants war.
Like this cat number three defense for Seattle is incredible.
You know what I'm talking about?
Yeah.
Bro, this dude, they drafted him.
He's been like that all year.
I know, but it's like when you're sitting there watching play after play and you're seeing, you know, you're seeing like from the film room perspective of watching this cat play.
Like seeing him be drafted as safety, seeing him be able to play the safety spot, seeing him play nickel, seeing him be able to cover his corner, the length that this dude has.
And seeing him at the second level.
Like the way he attacks blockers, the point of contact, it's not like it's all world like a linebacker, but the way this dude is physical as like a DB type with his length.
He knows how to use his length really well.
Dude can rush the passer.
He can blitz.
He can do everything at every level of the defense.
Because I came in because JP was talking about him yesterday.
And so when I was sitting there and I was kind of like just watching number three for Seattle's defense,
I'm like, yo, this dude is the real fucking deal.
Not just like a stat pattern.
Like this dude is him.
I'm curious though how.
Hey, him.
Watch him into Super Bowl.
I'm just curious how Seattle's defense can go from shutting down the 49ers to, you know,
holding them to what, nine points and two games.
games and they give up, I'm making this up 80 points to the Rams.
Like, where is the drop off?
Because as we move forward into the Super Bowl or big game, whatever, we're allowed,
are we allowed to call a Super Bowl?
We can call a Super Bowl on the show, right?
We can't.
Okay.
Whereas we head into the Super Bowl, what's up with the defense?
Because they look good at time, like the, like, there's a lot.
Are you talking about Seattle's defense?
I'm talking about Seattle's defense, yeah.
But I feel like the Rams have such, they have the ability to hit these explosive
players on you because they have a run game with Karen Williams.
Defense does do a good job of like maintaining or trying to stop the run because the Rams
is such a good job inserting their receivers to block.
But also, Puka can be in such a sticky situation and still come down with the football.
Devonte Adams is as good as anybody.
If you're press on him the way he gets separation or get separation at the top of his route,
like Rams are fucking good, dude.
Right.
That's why I pick them.
Yeah, Rams are nice.
I'm saying like the defense might come alive because what, they completely shut down the 49ers.
Who did Seattle had a buy before that?
But their defense has been kind of top five, top ten all year long.
And they have all the cats like DeMarcus Lawrence.
Who else is on?
Leonard Williams.
And that second level, like again, watching the Nick Cat, number three, dog.
Ernest Jones, the middle linebacker, he's a dog.
And even this young little, I like to call him the White Bull Terrier, Drake Thomas.
Number 42, he's probably like.
With the eye blacker?
Yeah, he's like 5-9, 510 little white boy plays big.
And he's small like on film, but seeing him go.
attack blockers and make splash plays.
Like, they got gouged, bro.
Yeah.
They got dudes on the outside they can cover.
Safeties that fill fast.
Like, they got, they got, they got, they got a lot of weapons.
Yeah, Mike McDonald.
What did you think of Tariq Wulin's penalty?
It doesn't sit there go long enough to where you know what penalties being called in the game.
When I'm watching on PFL.
Like I didn't get to see, I was going to say, I saw the moment that it all happened,
but where they cut off is they're celebrating together before they celebrate, I guess,
in Taunt the sideline.
So they had like a, what, third and 12th?
Seattle stops them.
Yeah.
And this cat goes over the sideline, does like the Baker Mayfield versus Kentucky type of deal
where he's like getting in their face so much that the ref walks over, throws the flag.
So, okay.
So next play.
They make they, they, they stopped them.
They stopped them.
So now it's fourth down.
No, no.
They told him to stop talking shit and then he went back and did it again.
That's like.
Got you.
He gave him the warning.
So what happened?
They broke up the play on the sideline.
They kind of sit there.
They're celebrating together.
A dude walks to the.
No, no, no.
No.
No.
He's just, he's looking at the sideline talking.
You see the rap just been like, all right, that's enough, that's enough.
And he's kind of, he's just, he's kind of side shuffling down, down the sideline.
He says a little bit more and then you see the rap just throw the flag.
It's when he started talking to Stafford, though.
Once he started talking to Stafford's talking to, I mean like, I would say, fuck you,
because he was talking to Stafford and then you can see Stafford, yo, he throws the flag.
At the end of day, you can't go to their sideline and do that.
But I hate, I hate, I hate.
You say you thought there's no consistency.
Well, is it ticky tag call?
Well, is it tic-tack?
No, but there's no consistency on what is taunting.
Also, there's so much of a human element to the game of football.
Like, there's a motion that happens.
It's third and 12.
You make a huge play.
You're right.
You can't do that.
That's what I'm going to tell you if I'm a coach and you're a player.
But, like, you've got to let the boys play.
You got to let the human element.
That's what sells when Caleb has the cheese grater on his head.
And, like, that's what sells.
Like, we can't just be robots out there.
And it's under the guise of player safety, not reacting and taking a late shot or, you know,
cheap shot like but when the ref is sitting there being like hey calm down calm down then get in front
him doing it you can't see that's when that's when you got throw the flag if it's like hey i'll give
his guy a warning and even through the warning he's continuing to do it's like well so you like it then
i don't like any flag anytime there's laundry in the field i don't like it i think you like
would you like to call then i think there's enough of a domino effect with the referee
noticing walking over saying hey you can't do this he ignores keep shuffling and doing it's
like eventually the ref if he's like going to put himself in the situation he's like going to put himself in the
situation, he's got to take control of the situation.
And the ref held back the whole time and let him do his thing and there's a little,
and then you go break it up.
That's a whole,
that I like that better.
I'm not saying it was the wrong call or right call.
Well, I am saying it's the wrong call.
But at the same token,
I just feel like there's no consistency between what is and what isn't taunting.
And especially in the magnitude of that game right there, it's like, brother.
Yeah.
When it comes to a big game, when it comes to playoffs,
then the refs seem to be there as like just in case guys.
Like in case like shit goes out of hand.
But then of that, it's like, this is as primal as it gets.
You guys, between these lines, go play the game.
Pretty mild for an indivision type of rivalry game.
Indivision.
Third time you're playing.
Winner goes to the Super Bowl.
So I'm with all that.
Who wasn't edgy the game at all?
Y'all got to think about it.
Just like we get a scouting report on refs, they get a scouting report on the whole players, too.
27, what, Wallin?
He, he, this is not his first time getting these penalties, these unsportsmen like,
it's happened multiple times.
So they probably was like, we're going to give this man a warning, and then we're going
going to throw the flag.
At the point it was a crucial time.
Should he had done it?
No.
And he dropped the interception.
Like, who clowns when you drop an interception and you didn't do anything?
Then the next play, he comes back and he bombs you.
Like, you, those things right there could have cost them the game.
Like he, and you've seen the linebacker was ready to fight him on the side.
Oh, that was the rookie.
The rookie ready, like, bro.
I love even worry.
He was ready to get up with him.
Because he like, dude, you just cost us the game.
You know what I mean?
Well, the next play pop, Pooka Nakuo, a touchdown.
touchdown. And you see the route too. Like as a as Pooka's running the route, he kind of like
looks back for a second like he's going to slow it down, looks back, gets to the top,
stutters it down and then takes off like in my brain as I'm watching the games, I'm thinking,
does New England have cats like that? Like I know no Diggs is nice. I know Matt Collins makes
plays and they got Hunter Henry, but do you got these two dudes? Yeah, booty. He's a kind of a
booty. Do they have like Puka and Devante Adams that just completely equalize a game in
Do they have an old line that can hold up?
They gave up like six sacks against the Chargers,
five against the Texans,
I think another five,
and we're having ball control issues with Drake.
You know what I'm saying?
It's like, brother, they got a D-line who can rush.
This true classic big game of the week

Hey, it's us, the Jonas Brothers, and guess what?
We have some big news.
What's the news, name?
Huge news.
We created our own podcast called, Hey Jonas.
We invented a podcast?
Well, we didn't invent it.
We just contributed to it.
We're the first people to do podcasts.
Pretty, yeah, pretty wide range of podcasts throughout there.
But this one's extra special.
So how do we actually come up with a name, Hey Jonas, guys?
I honestly don't remember.
I think it was on a call about what we should call it.
Well, we were thinking I'm originally calling it one of the early names of our band before Jonas Brothers.
This is how you guys remember it going down?
Yes.
I have a very different memory of this.
We were talking about a thing, a bit for the podcast, where people could call in and say, hey, Jonas.
And then I wrote down on my little notepad, Hey, Jonas, and offered it up as a potential title for the podcast.
But thanks for remembering that, guys.

Good, play good. Let's get to the game of the week.
I mean, yeah. Hold on. Let's just be.
introduce the game because we're getting into the game right we're excited
super bowl sunday cc yawks new england patriots mike mcdonnell mike braybel
patriots are dogs seehawks are over at four and a half points total points in this game is 45
and a half continue i just want to introduce that's all i'm saying like listen i i think you you
you sense where i where i'm leaning i think the seahawks are going to be hard to be but that my
my concern is like how well the rams you know if you give rayball if you give josh mcgainils two
weeks to prepare, like there's got to be something there to take advantage of. Maybe that is just
the fact that they have Puka, Devonte, Parkinson, some of these dogs out there who can run
amazing routes and an offensive-minded coach and, you know, Sean McVeigh who can just, the
offensive play calling nowadays is tremendous. I mean, we saw that JSN, now going to the Seattle side
of things, that JSN where he was lined up in the backfield runs. And runs that corner route,
there ain't no, there ain't no backer that's covering it. No, it wouldn't be the backer, but let's say
you're in a box where you got four people. He came down. The safety's already biting on the
But that essentially would be the backer who has to run through and slice that.
Well, it was a nickel's his own.
But no, he ran up the field.
Yeah, it was a nickel Sam.
Because there is like number two or Cooper or whomever.
He takes a flat.
That's the flat.
Your inside backer, he just kind of sloughs off waiting for something to come.
It's three on four.
And then you have him three through the zone.
That's got to be your safety.
That's a retroactive coaching.
Your corner.
Like technically you would have.
But because J.S.N.
so far in the backfield, the corner's not.
never going to, the corner's never going to pick that up unless you, I guess, just game
playing for it. You have to game plan for it. Because when I'm watching that route on fold,
I'm like, I have no clue how anybody's going to cover that because it's still three. That's what
he's saying. So in a box, you have a three that sits low. You have your flat player.
Draw it up. We don't spend enough time on the whiteboard. Go draw it up, baby. Give them that,
give them that look. All right, Delaney, so in box rules, like if we're middle backers and
we're working with our secondary and we say box box or cluster cluster, you're basically,
like a cover for a look where this guy's taking the first three guys short. So if anybody
were here to run a spot, he'll go and snagget. If anybody runs a dragon side, he walls it
off unless he drops into the zone behind them. Everybody's got different rules. This defender's
got the first flat. So as Cooper Cup goes out here, he buys his flat route. The three player
in a box setting, this dude's in the backfield. Again, it's not like they're on the line of
scrimmage to where then it opens up your rules to where you can work with the backside
safety or work with the safety over top or you can do like an area call. But in just,
in just traditional box, he's got the first low of three.
These guys would have the two vertical routes.
If he's on here and say he runs vertical and he runs vertical,
safety and corner would pick that up.
And he's searching for anything low.
Since this receiver is first up the field and runs a post route,
this is so late because JSN's coming out of the backfield.
So the corner's buying this over top and basically running into the safety.
So they've occupied both of them.
So as JSN is delayed coming out of the backfield,
this is really the Mike backer who would have to pick this up going to the corner.
But it's impossible.
It's nothing that you're going to coach into.
If you haven't seen it all year to where you get into the film room
and you'd say technically, like in this situation,
we would just need you to just make some hell of a play
and be able to run and take this corner route.
Because ideally you'd want the corner to see it.
But if you haven't seen it all year,
nothing in the rules is going to tell him,
we have to worry about three coming out of the backfield
to take up the corner in the corner route.
And see, what you ever did you say?
That's perfect.
That's perfect where, you know, the corner technically, as we say, he's got to be responsible
with that.
Your number two who takes him to the flat, usually that would be your linebacker, your outside
lineback, whoever it is.
He's got to slough off, give you some help on that seven route, let's call it.
But the corner's got to see that and not commit.
But that was the only route running through his zone.
So you deliver him to the next guy inside.
And again, if you haven't seen it all year, that's where you're going to have to
retroactively coach this play up.
If you've seen it, then ultimately you'd be alert to the formation.
Hey, we got, we call it zoo.
where receivers in the backfield,
where you can anticipate something like this
because just looking at the board,
if it's like he has the flat,
he has low underneath on a three,
and these two have the deep routes,
the corner would have this corner route,
safety would have this post.
But since he's coming out of the backfield,
it's so late developing that by the time this post hits,
the corner's already running with it.
So it's a great play called by Seattle.
And that's what we'll be looking forward to
on the offensive side.
They're going to say hopefully if that safety,
if that corner runs with him,
them to the safety, the corners should be open.
Like, they're going to literally tell us that.
And that's, that was the corner's fault then, what you're saying.
The corner should have, he should have passed that, the post over, right?
It is.
It's just a great play call.
It's one of those where you come to the sideline, your coach looks at you and goes,
that's tough.
That's tough.
That's tough.
And to your point, you'd be right if, like, say, again, say quarterback's back here,
QB's back here and running backs right here.
If this receiver happened to be on the line of scrimmage or close to the line of
scrimmage and say the back was offset this way to where this is a three player he would let this
corner route unfold and he would take this but since there was no he was essentially this jsn
was the running back out here wide and in the backfield that's where it's hard to allow everything
to develop because the lineback would have to take the back whoever's in the running back
right because as he eliminates backer's sitting down here because you're thinking it could be like
an option route where he tries to go inside or he might have to break on it if he goes out but
Since he drove it all the way up, it's just so late developing that it's, again, unless the corner has seen it on film, it's hard for him to just kind of wait there.
Do you, did you notice if they ran that formation multiple times and set it up?
Did they run the option the first time and then come back with the corner route?
Because usually that's how you set up that play.
You run a short route so you got that linebacker to sit on his toes.
That's probably what they're thinking is he's going to come up and dance with the middle lineback to try and, you know, beat them across the face.
Or as an offensive play caller too, you think if we throw this at him, what do, what does this?
of defense usually do when they get a receiver in the backfield, like, what coverage do they
check to? And they're like, all right, it seems like they run kind of a four coverage on that
side with the receiver. Let's get them in this formation. And from an office perspective, you're
seeing that corner route late out of the backfield. You're going to show the same formation
in the game, but now that, now Jason's going to cut it inside. Inside, watch. Because the safety
in corner two, again, him being in the backfield is the X factor. These guys are kind of predicating
it off the two receivers because they're not thinking there's a vertical threat coming out of the
backfield. So the minute he eliminates both of these guys' eyes are thinking they can double,
they can double this high route on the post. But now they're going to have that top left,
what safety, the top left. But you take top left is the corner. Okay, top left is the corner.
That corner is not going to hold more to the left if the same sort of formation is going to happen.
Now that post on the inside is going to probably be more open to get over the top of that.
And then you'll have JSN run a route inside and fuck up that. But you'll have two inside backers.
You take away the home run. Like that's what they were trying to hit the home run. They hit
awesome play yeah you can do JSN inside he can dance with the middle linebacker but you got the
mike and will we're probably gonna you know box him because there's no threat to the
the wheel on the other side but defenses are so fascinating to me because i understand like fronts and
like the front seven but as far as like back in i just know rotation i don't know like this whole box
concept as you guys are breaking down i'm like it's incredible how they're talking about the corner
has to bring the receiver over to the safety and once he see that he's secured and acting i'm assuming
break off back to help out somewhere else.
Yeah.
It's just, it's mind.
Because think about it like a simple play that a lot of offenses run.
Just think of like a traditional bunch set.
We would box that.
And on just a simple play, let's call it like a snag seven to where three goes flat right
away.
That eats up the flat plate.
Which one is three?
Three is the guy on the inside.
So the middle guy.
You count from outside end.
It's a one, two, three.
Yeah, one, two, three.
So if three goes flat right away, as a three,
player, you're pushing to next color.
The next color would be the snag route from the one.
Three goes flat.
One is the farthest one out.
It depends too, though.
But I'm just saying just a simple concept of like a snag seven versus a bunch.
So flat player gets eaten up by the flat by three.
The snag gets eaten up by the low hole player, the low three player, the mic.
And then the safety in the corner are both doubling that snag seven if it's a seven route.
It could be a vertical.
They're both doubling that.
So again, as you're seeing that, once two eliminates the flat player,
three is not a vertical threat.
He's in the back field.
So the eyes of the corner and the safety are now thinking they're going to double the vertical route between one and two.
Got you.
See, the only reason why I know that because we have to listen.
When we get in a bunch, we hear box.
We like, hey, they boxing it.
So now we kind of know what's about to happen.
We just want to hear the box.
We know who going to take who now.
Like if you're running the snag, you might snag and then work.
Yeah.
Either work back inside, option them or push away from them.
I'm thinking this Mike Backer sits really low and doesn't really put his body on you.
Like I'm not going to go get to him.
Like I know he inside.
I'm like, okay, I know he don't got me.
I'm the point.
I know that dude inside him.
I run towards him.
I don't get close enough to him.
I kind of give him that and then come back out.
You know what I'm saying?
If he come to me quick, I'm running out.
But if he kind of like read me to try to wall me, that's when I kind of give you that,
pause you a little bit and then just put it on my outside shoulder.
You don't want to run out to danger.
So you kind of got to see.
Now, if he run to me, I know it's man.
I can run out of it.
But if he just sit and wait for me, it may be like a little pocket.
I can sit in right here and just take that pass.
This might be a dumb question, but like, are you boxing like 99% of?
Depends to the coverage.
Yeah.
It depends.
So you don't get out of coverage if they come like a bunch set.
If you're in like, if it's day one install and they don't want the defense to think too much,
if you're calling like a two shell defense, so think two, four, six.
And then guys just thinking Tampa like, hey, do you want to?
us to box a bunch and a coaches might simply say, if you were in a two-shell look, box any
bunch set you might, or cluster set you might see. But there will be wrinkles inside of
every defense. Right, man changes things. Like Tampa, you might stay in Tampa. They might do
something so specific outside a bunch to where now you might want to check to getting into like
a cover three or they might run heavy if they're getting into like a tight bunch set to where you
want to get in a single high safety. Got you. And that's what it all depends. It really comes from like
two-shell defense. So if you're in like a cover four, if you get a cluster or a box,
of some sort you will be sitting there trying to box it up.
And sometimes that's why we motioned like,
because if the quarterback can't tell,
because y'all disguising that three, we'll motion
just to see if they follow, if they don't follow,
it man, zone.
We're gonna see it.
Oh, he didn't follow, zone, zone, zone.
That's why I start screaming out zone.
Right, so he's zoned and then they're assuming box.
Yeah.
Well, it all depends.
God, it's the game within the game.
It's the game within the game.
And it's crazy that you play the game long enough,
but even sitting here, it's like,
oh, this is stuff that's so out of my wheelhouse,
of knowing where
safety's in corners
and everything goes.
You know basic stuff
like two, four.
Yeah, y'all need to know
that shit.
No.
I just need to know
where the safeties are.
And then, hey,
is this guy pressed
on the slot?
He might come now.
If he had nickel,
Sam too.
Yeah, exactly.
Yeah, as a base,
is a nickel, is a dime?
All right, now I know that.
But it's just,
it's so interesting.
Because if three's on the line
of scrimmage and cover four,
the mic backer now has a vertical
responsibility,
unless you three to exit,
like on the backside.
I don't know if you guys
call the three to X or you would always like hey if you never want your mic backer running vertical
you'd work with like a backside safety but if three is like on the line of scrimmage you now have
vertical responsibility let's say you got three guys over there the bunch is there and box happens
that now tells the mic backer there's no vertical responsibility that you're going to have now you're
going to be sitting low that's why this route is so deadly because as they're close whether they call a box
or not the mic backer's not thinking i'm going to have to take anything vertical right but ain't the mike
backer, usually the fastest backer out of the bunch.
The bunch, what do you mean?
Like out of the two, out of the three?
What are you're saying out of the backers that are out there?
The mic is usually the bass.
It could switch.
The mic and will are kind of synonymous as far as.
Like if it's me out there, usually the dime or the weak side background playing with is
the more athletic guy.
Is that what you're talking about?
No, because I always, when I play Patrick Willis was the mic,
Navarra will always play on the side of him because he was faster.
Patrick will be, he will always take the scene.
Yeah, yeah.
He always took the scene.
It kind of just depends who you're playing with.
Different genetic makeup.
Yeah, I mean, yeah, I'm just saying like, even like who, Jayon, Jayon on Arton, he was
the Mike Backer, he always took this.
Jayon would be a guy, so Pete Willis, Jayon, some of these cast would be guys to where
if three is on the line of scrimmage and they're in cover four, you can trust them to have
vertical responsibility.
Okay, that's what I'm saying, yeah.
To where, say I'm out there, there would always be tools that you're working with,
whether it's 3 to X or an area call.
And it wouldn't be like 100% across the board.
I'm just trying to give you examples of times
where you might be thinking,
okay, could they be getting this formation
to attack the Mike Backer
or try and get him in an isolated situation?
And then schematically on defensive side,
like what tool bag can we work with
to where they're not living in this situation the whole time?
Okay.
Like I might have vertical responsibility
when we play the Cowboys
and we're playing against Jason Whitten.
Because the majority of time
he's going to option you at the 10-yard line.
He's not going to run vertical a whole lot.
And it's like, hey, Will, you better be able to run with Jason Whitten.
Vertical.
But if you had, you guys have one cat.
Is Michael Finley?
Not Finley.
Cook.
What's it called?
Jared Cook.
Jared Cook.
Yeah, who could run.
Who could run?
Yeah, he ran a four, three.
That'd be one where it's like, I got to sit a little higher here because right now I'm supposed to take him vertical if he goes vertical.
He could move.
Yeah, he could run a straight line.
He like six six.
And he can run.
So, fucking tall.
Gamecock.
You get to my ears.
Hmm.
So who do you guys got?
Seattle.
Covering.
Minus four and a half.
I'm going to move that line, though.
I'm taking Seattle, too, but I am going to move the line to two and a half again.
It's the smart bet.
I really feel like the Patriots haven't played in the last two weeks.
Very good football.
Low scoring.
Not taking care of the ball.
Really in a panic.
To go against the Broncos, I mean, against the Broncos with a second string quarterback who only had, what,
maybe two or three starts in the NFL.
Right.
He low-key played good enough to win.
He played good.
Game plan, yeah.
You know what they?
Start over three, then went six for seven,
had that nice deep throw,
but after that,
it was kind of like, okay.
We're not, we're not.
Broncos were in, like,
they could have won that game.
They could have won it.
When they went for,
the Patriots,
Patriots didn't play very well.
They didn't.
You're right.
I mean,
Stevenson ran it 25 times for 76 yards.
That's it's, they were like,
okay, we need to just get the lead.
And once you have the lead,
just, let's just keep the lead here.
They're Stidim Cat.
They were assuming he's not going to beat us with his honor.
He wasn't.
But Broncos are up 7-0, and then they have the ball,
and they go forward on fourth one when they get stopped.
And they could, it's like, bro,
go up to nothing.
Take the points.
Go up to nothing.
You're back on it.
You're back on take the points mode.
In that situation, in like, the first quarter,
like the first half, you got a backup quarterback.
I don't disagree with that.
Because you're not sitting there being like,
we'll be in this position.
Yeah.
How many options we're going to get.
Anytime we get into the red zone or the fringe area.
It's like we have to take advantage of what they give up.
Trust your defense, too.
Your defense showed up.
They were showing up, boy.
So your Seahawks, two and a half.
Seahawks, four and a half?
You're Seahawks, two and a half?
Okay.
I'll take Seahawks two and a half.
Here's the X factor to me, and it's Drake May.
Like, there's two trains of thought is the pressure of being the playoffs as a second-year
player is what's causing him to not play well, put the ball on the ground,
not show, like, he's not great in the deep ball as he has been in the regular season.
There's been a lot of variables there.
like oh that's something Drake May we saw in October, November, December. This is January,
and he's not being the same quarterback. So there's a thought of like maybe the pressures a lot.
The other thought process, which you give a little tip of the cap to Tom Brady is this guy's
had to play in some crazy weather in the playoffs, how cold it is, winds going crazy, is that
taking away from his kind of first time being a North Carolina cat, right?
North Carolina cat, like is this like his first time really being in the elements in January
to where the ball is not coming out that way.
He doesn't have the reps in that situation,
but now you're going to San Francisco
where the weather's not going to be a factor in this game.
So does he get back to the Drake May of Old.
I think Walker, his assurgence as a premier running back this year,
has been incredible even with Charbonnet getting out.
Early in the year, we looked at Walker,
and I know it was like the first Ram Seahawks game that we streamed.
You were watching Walker, get to the line of scrimmage,
make cuts and go east and west,
to where he's trying to find a home run,
hit as opposed to just taking what the defense is giving him and taking those three, four,
five yards. He's trying to find X plays everywhere, which a lot of times ended up in TFLs.
So the Patriots defense, they're the number three defense in rush percentage or whatever the correct
term. Three run, top three run defense in the entire NFL. I do believe that the Patriots are
going to find a way to shut down Walker. So what's the next thing you have to look at? And the answer is
JSN. It's creative routes like this. It's also, if Sam Donald can throw it in his vicinity at all,
he proved in this NFC championship game he's going to catch the ball wherever it is the one the one
handed grab he had something on his hands or something like that because that ball came out had a
spin on it and if you watch a slow-mo that ball full stops once it catches hits his hand there's another one
in the back of the end zone that was three four yards out of the back of the end zone he's still
hitting up catching that thing no problem so that's going to be a guy you got a double and then say if
they're going to beat us they're going to have to go to these other these other cats cooper barnum
those types of dudes cooper balling though the uh the uh the uh
Patriots do have a shutdown corner in Christian Gonzalez.
He's a dog.
But I don't think you're putting one corner.
Like, regardless of Gonzalez of respect to his game.
But, like, you're in the Super Bowl.
And this cat has shown all year long that he's going to be productive regardless of the Super Bowl.
Don't sleep on Cooper Cup, though.
Or Rashid Shaheed, bro.
If you pressure, there was one where he catches a deep ball because buddies are pressing him.
And he just gets on top of him quick.
Right.
Like the speed that Shahee has?
I trust me.
I just don't, you know, because Brable, franted the show.
Where are you going on the game?
I'm going to think the Patriots plus four and a half.
I think Sam Donald, like the whole question mark leading in the playoffs was
Sammy D, those last two games in the Vikings, he started to putter out a little bit.
Even this season they get to the playoffs, he's throwing four touchdowns in receptions.
He's really turned a page to where there's no like, is he, is he not?
He is a premier quarterback in the NFL.
Oh, yeah.
I just think.
Mike Brable, with having.
time. And the
McDaniels,
McDaniels being in this position over
and over and over again, being able to game
plan this defense that is going against an
offensive line that's underachieved throughout the playoffs.
They are going to have certain wrinkles.
Their defense is going to cause
Seattle to make mistakes.
I think Drake May, I'm
going to lean on the idea of it's
the weather, not the pressure for Drake May, which is
a bit of a gamble, and his legs.
His ability to use his legs in this game is going to be a
massive factor. Whatever his rush yards are.
We did he got a little bit of legs.
He got a little bit of legs.
He got sneaky white boy legs.
Yeah, he took all.
Snake made got a little.
Drake made just seasoned.
He got seasoned on them legs.
So I'll take the Patriots.
I'm rooting for a close game.
I love for the Patriots to win just because our boy Braves.
Like, you'd love to see him put a bow on this thing.
Be the first coach ever to be winning as a player and then coach for the same team and win as a coach.
I think it's just a great story.
My bias is definitely leaning a little bit in this.
But I just think there's, you have the ability to take away the run game.
and say, yeah, Sam, you've played great,
but you've never been in this position before.
Can we get you to make a couple of mistakes?
I think they can maybe figure that out.
I hate that label for Sam because he balled last game.
Bro, he's been ball-linked.
Guys at his feet getting hit, throwing it, saw his body.
He's a dog, dude.
Being out of structure.
Anything.
I'm just saying, if on the Patriots, I'm saying,
okay, we're going to make them a one-phase type of offense.
Let's take away their run game.
And then truly it's like, now we have to double a job.
JSN and box or whatever we're doing with Cooper, we're shooting all those things.
We're going to do, we're going to do that.
Like that is, you have to take away one of them because they have been the most complete
team going into the playoffs.
I just think four and a half is a lot for a Super Bowl and for these teams to have time.
I think there's a low scoring game.
It was a 45 and a half.
I think that under looks fantastic too.
I think the under is a beautiful bet.
Go ahead and put me on that as well.
I'll take the Patriots solo bet four and a half.
and I'll also take the under in this game.
Remind me who the Patriots had in the first round?
Chargers.
Chargers.
And barely won that game.
I was going to say, man, like...
Barely won that game.
And the Chargers old line, like the offenses that they played against,
it's like the Chargers, the Texans, the Broncos without Bo Nix.
Without Bow Nix, just keep saying...
If both Nix would have played, that outcome would have been totally different from New England.
I think the game would have changed for both teams.
I think both teams.
would have had different game plans.
New England's got, they obviously, they have a good defense.
They play with good eyes.
They got good cats on the line of scrimmage.
Great vice tackles.
They don't drop off a diving board.
Some salt at the second level was Flane and Gibbons.
Yeah.
Like they got cats.
Spallane got hurt in that game too.
Bro, the Seahawks have been such a well-over machine.
And all year long, it's like, oh, it's the Seahawks and Rams.
And then kind of everybody else are AFCs weaker than the NFC.
Seahawks and Rams make it to the championship game.
And it was absolutely electric.
Like both teams had good defenses, great offenses.
And I just feel like it's that point to where the Patriots,
they're meeting the Seattle Seahawks.
And it's not, Seattle's just going to be too much for them.
Just like Seattle has been for everybody else.
Yeah, I believe that.
Because defensively, they have the same level of defense that the Patriots have been going against.
They're going to be able to get after the quarterback.
Like the tackles have struggled at times throughout the playoffs.
It's not like Drake Mays played out of this world at all,
comparatively to like Sam Darnel going against the teams that he's been going against.
And I just feel like the Seahawks have too much.
Kenneth Walker, too, you bring up Kenneth Walker.
The way he was able to put his foot in the ground and get to the edge when he scored that first touchdown was insane.
And that handback that they have were Kenneth Walker can keep from front side or cut it backside, the push that the offensive line gets.
Offensive lines played great all year.
Patriots are going to obviously have to shut down Kenneth Walker first and foremost if you're going to put it in the hands of Sam Donald.
I just don't feel like the Patriots will be able to – like I still think Kenneth Walker is going to get him.
his somehow, somehow.
Oh, yeah.
Yeah.
Screens.
I'm hoping for a whole of the game.
And then you look at, and then New England,
it's not like, like, again,
the creativity in the Seattle run game,
in the Rams run game.
I think the Rams, it's like,
you got to stop duo and single back.
Maybe a couple zone plays,
but you got to stop duo and single back.
And then they run the ball
at a lot of two-back sets.
If you handle the two-back and duo
and have good eyes in play action,
I'd think Seattle could handle the Patriots.
Yeah.
Me, beating the Rams, like you said,
it was the best team other than Seattle.
I just don't think Patriots.
I don't know.
We're going to find out.
We will find out.
We will find out.
No question.
They're going to put the ball down and we're going to play.
Yeah.
We're going to find out.
You know, I'm sticking with Seattle.
I think Seattle is the powerhouse here.
Seattle, two and a half, Seattle, two and a half?
Two and a half?
Two and a half.
Two and a half.
I'm taking, I do know.
I'm taking the under, too.
I want the under.
I'm going to take the under.
He got me.
So I'm going to take the under as well in this game.
I'm going to do also Kenneth Walker over 74.5 rushing yards.
Take the over on his rushing.
J.S.N. over on his reception, six and a half.
Hunter Henry over on his receptions, three and a half.
And then Kenneth Walker anytime touchdown.
I'm going to take it straight as well.
A sneaky player in this game is Austin Hooper.
Hooper?
Hooper.
I see them being sneaky in the game.
For along with Seattle minus two and a half.
There will be a parlay that I'm.
putting together, it's not going to be all those picks together.
I might sprinkle that, but I am going to have
a Super Bowl Willie Parlay ready to go.
It'll be on Fandul, the boys, or is it just separate?
I'm going to, I'll make some calls and see if we can get some,
get some graphics.
Like, if you got one, if we all have one, like, get a little photo
on the site.
Maybe.
Moneyline Matthews.
Hey, I'm hitting, baby.
They're a little scared.
A little scared.
I hit that radio.
I'll say this.
I can move.
Hey, and by the way, shout out you for the UFC Parle.
I did take one leg out, which, you know, fortunately that's what allowed it to hit.
Yeah.
But shout out to you for that.
Hey, what a card, by the way.
I know this is a football show, but we can't finish without talking about that UFC car.
I imagine the viewers.
I got something.
I guess I'm not much yesterday.
I just got a text from a certain head coach in the state of Arizona.
We got to save Zips.
We got to get a group of boys together, and we've got to save what's going on in Zips.
They're under a federal investigation.
Federal investigation, 15 of the 16 chains were rated by Idaho.
or the FBI or something.
The owner of Zips, allegedly,
is under federal investigation.
The lone one standing is the OG, right?
Like Goldies, I saw something.
Goldies.
And let me tell you something, Will.
Right across the street from Goldies,
there's about five or six baseball diamonds.
We would go there as kids and go play baseball.
Silverhawks, AAA baseball team.
We were ass.
But after every game, you know, we go,
Goldies.
And we'd sit there, we eat the wings.
We'd talk about how we almost got them,
even though we lost by 10.
And buddy.
The state of Arizona is hurting right now.
And there needs to be a group of men that go in and save Zips.
And the text I just got, along with a couple other people from the state of Arizona,
we've got a band together.
And I know you gentlemen aren't from the state of Arizona, but you guys are American.
And I think it's worth looking into being a part of something special.
The investment opportunities there.
Saving an American staple, William.
Seal Team Zips.
Seal Team Zips.
Zips.
We've got to figure out a way to save this franchise.
Got to figure out.
I just don't know the avenue I want to take it.
Do I go approach the owner?
Was it her federal investigation?
Do I hire a law firm to be like,
hey, I need to know ways to go about this?
But I am going to, I'm doing a full dive.
After this show is over.
You let him go bankrupt.
You come in.
You'd be able to back up.
He said all the grades get investigated.
You know what I'm saying?
It happens.
one. It'd be all right. We all.
I do want to read this parlay.
I just want to get that out. I hear you're in a little bit of trouble.
Let me get this parlay for you guys.
I thought he was going to go back to the NFL
games. No, no, no, no.
We've covered it. He's like, oh, hang on, Clay, I've got to get
something all my zips. This parlay right here, this is all player props.
It's plus 3,7001.
All right, so I'm going to give you this.
Oh, so you got your, you got a nice little deal.
Ramon J. Stevenson, anytime touchdown.
Love it.
JSN, anytime touchdown.
Sam Darnold, over 175 passing yards.
Easy.
Drake May, over 175 passing yards.
Good weather.
JSN, 70 plus receiving yards.
Love it.
Kishon Booty, over 25 receiving yards.
Austin Hooper, over 10 receiving yards.
Big time red zone threat.
Red zone threat.
Take yourself back to a couple of games ago.
He was wide open.
Drake May, bad.
weather missed him yeah but he was wide open he's hitting him in this game you know the number one
red zone defense Seattle I don't know I was asking oh I'm just getting that's hold on the number one
red zone tight end coverage defense yeah yeah see what red zone defense for second string
tight ends Seattle Cahawes for 13 personnel Seattle's only Seattle's only allowed their
opponents to reach the red zone three times in the postseason don't worry about that don't
worry about that. Ramonjay Stevenson over 50 yards rushing. Drake May over 25 yards rushing.
Taking some swings on the back out. Yeah. Back at Drake May 25 yards rushing?
All of it to map about. He had like 60 what last week? Romang J. Stevenson like he they're going
to give him the rock. They gave him 25 times in this last game against the number two rush
What do you have? 70 yards. 75. It was also snowing. It was also snowing. That fourth quarter.
Yeah, but I did man. Yeah, that was brutal.
finish and watch.
Guys, hold on.
Plus 3,7001.
That's a nice little deal, right?
You guys don't have to say it all at once.
I'm just letting you know it's pretty good.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, I know it's pretty good.
Jared, I'll send you something.
We'll sprinkle.
We'll sprinkle.
Sprinkle, yeah.
The only thing you're going to wish is you bet a little bit more.
That's all you're going to do.
But yeah, we got to save Zips, man.
We've got a.
What are you cooking up, dude?
I'm looking.
He's working
He's putting it on the end up right now
I've looked over
He's scrolling on his barlet
Oh
I'm trying to cook some
Do you have one cooked up yet?
I have some nice
I don't know I usually wait about an hour before
Okay
And I send it to the group chat
At Clay Matthews 5 too

Yes Clay

Hey, it's us, the Jonas Brothers, and guess what?
We have some big news.
What's the news, name?
Huge news. We created our own podcast called
Hey, Jonas. We invented a podcast?
Well, we didn't invent it. We just contributed to it.
We're the first people to do podcasts.
Pretty, yeah, pretty wide range of podcasts throughout there.
But this one, this one was a trend.
one's extra special. So how did we
actually come up with a name Hey Jonas, guys?
I honestly don't remember. I think it was on a call about what we should
call it. Well, we were thinking, I'm originally calling
it one of the early names of our band. Before Jonas
Brothers was... This is how you guys remember it going down?
Yes. I have a very different memory of this. We were
talking about a thing, a bit for the podcast, people could call in and say, hey,
Jonas. And then I wrote down on my little
Notepad, Hey Jonas, and offered it up as a potential title for the podcast.
But thanks for remembering that, guys.

Just listen. We don't care where you hear it.
Another podcast from some SNL late-night comedy guy, not quite.
Unhumor me with Robert Smigel and friends.
Me and hilarious guests from Bob Odenkirk to David Letterman help make you funnier.
This week, my guest, SNL's Mikey Day and head writer Streeter Seidel, help an occupier
Pella band with their between songs banter.
Where does your group perform?
We do some retirement homes.
Those people are starving for banter.

There are times when the mind becomes a difficult place to live.
This is David Eagleman with the Inner Cosmos podcast, and for Mental Health Awareness Month,
we're dedicating a series to understanding the mind when it struggles.
I'm joined by doctors, researchers, and those with lived experience.
We'll talk with singer-songwriter Jewel about anxiety.
I started living in my car, and then my car got stolen.
I was shoplifting.
I was having panic attacks.
I was agoraphobic.
And making it through hardship.
To be present is a learned skill, and it's hard to be present.
We'll talk with John Nelson about clinical depression and the brain implant that saved his life.
What I learned is that procedure made me happy because I'm disease-free.
And we'll talk with leading experts like Judd Brewer about anxiety
and John Hirschfield about obsessive-compulsive disorder
and the science of how the brain can change.
This is a month of deeply personal and honest conversations

This week on Crimless, we're joined by our first ever guest.
Sorry, our first ever human guest.
I don't think I could be in the same room with Shamrock the pair.
I'd be too nervous.
That's right.
The very funny, Will Ferrell joins Rory Scovel and me, Josh Dean,
for an episode dedicated to the many crimes committed by people also named Will Ferrell.
They called to his fellow officer for the nippers.
What are the nippers?
Very good question.
No, I was thinking, would that be a good name for like a salad dressing?
Simple assault.
And it's a play on word, salt?
Maybe not.
I say we invest and we see.
There's only one way to know.
This did not amuse the cops.
By the way, normally the cops are amused, but this did not abuse the cops.
Will even comes clean about some of his own crimes.
I didn't get caught.
You know why?
If you don't want to be suspected of anything, you whistle as you walk.
Listen to crime list on the Iheart radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcast.
Well, you're a gambler, but you're also a social media.
I'm a rambling, man.
I'm a rambling, man.
You are never going to change.
You had a gypsy soul to blame.
Lord, I was going to rambling.
So.
I don't have anything for you.
Wait, we got to.
I'll get you something, okay.
Bet the boys parlay.
For both for that, paper scissors for who will be the champion right now?
Shoot, no.
Well, hang on.
What do you mean?
They both got a different pick.
No, we.
We both missed their heads.
We'll figure it out.
We both.
Pro Bowl.
Pro Bowl.
We're trying to beat the tiebreaker.
We need a tie break.
We both took two.
Well, we took the same.
We both took the same.
Take Seattle four and a half.
We'll go Patriots two and a half.
Oh, yeah.
Go Patriots two and a half.
All right.
I'll go pay.
No.
That sounds terrible.
What do you think to win the game?
Just meet in the middle.
I think the safer bet is Seattle on this.
I just think it's going to be closer than four and a half points.
Just do.
middle do three and a half yeah there you go oh man well see that yeah that's going to hurt my
raw paper scissors raw paper scissors rock pepper scissors and do it now just for the tie breaker and then
then you guys somehow tie two to three or straight up our second bet our second bed is uh under we take it
we're both taking the under oh you're both taking the under oh yeah we both take what about
super boy MVP or gatorade color or we're going to do that too oh okay i hang on they they could stay here
If Taylor hits the bet
Taylor would
If it was
Seattle wins by three
In my brain
Taylor kind of wins
Because his odds are better on the app
His odds are better
But we ain't doing units though
If it was units then yeah
He will win
You
2 and 3
Okay we're gonna do 2 out of 3
Rock paper scissors shoot
And what
This a tie breaker
Just a tie breaker
This is only if Seattle
Wain AF
Which is nuts by the way
Why don't just go
I can't do it. Can you guys just meet the middle and go three and a half? We think it's gonna be way
closer. I just think it's gonna it's gonna come. You're asking me to lose a lot more than he is.
Huh? You say what? I said he's once you a three and a half. I'm like you're asking me.
Bro, just take Seattle minus four and a half. I can't, I can't do that. Why do you,
hold on, why do you hate rock paper season so much right now? I don't know. Honestly, I think I, I,
he's not a kid, right? Clay's been in my ear. I've been hearing him on the
side he's and I guess I've just so consciously picked it up my hey hang on guys let's
do it this way what's he been saying there's more to it do the gateway there's got to be some
more because there's more betty's he's gonna paper scissors he's like lame me ass he's just been
hit some tie comments or we can do MVP did be the tiebreaker whoever gets the MVP right
what if we both get that right who you pick you're not I'll take drink back I'm taking
Sam don't Sammy D. Pride of USC we had neither of them get it
I just swear to one, boys.
Always.
The game's four and a half.
Then I say that last year.
Then I say that last year.
I'll take drink, mate, always gets it.
He can take Sam Donald.
If it's tied at the end of this, we can meet it in a neutral site and do rocket resistance.
I will just come here.
What are you picking in the coin toss?
It's tails.
I got to pick tails.
It's always tails.
Can you settle this?
Can you settle this?
No.
I don't like that.
I, we, we have to have.
What if we get them all the same?
I'm like, who cares?
That's like a thing.
Let's just let it ride.
Let's let it ride.
You know, like sometimes the tiebreaker for like Mark's Madness is the final
sport and whatever.
I'll be damned if I'm sharing a title.
You know that sound effect?
We'll just be here and we'll be here.
The passion that they have and winning this title.
Not the move.
I'm just trying to figure out how they can solve whatever.
I don't expect you to understand right now.
You'll know hopefully someday about what this means.
Hey, uh,
Hey, he got a, Clay got a crazy look at his eye road.
The ice storm's been taking us all down.
What did you say, Derek?
I can only take so much hate from Taylor in a year, all right?
I can only take so much.
Hey, you don't even understand my emotions, right?
Hey, I wore the Tims today because that's how I'm feeling, all right?
East Coast barred.
Untire.
Yeah.
Yeah.
I was hoping to God that boys were fucking.
Clay, I don't expect you to understand what Delaney and I are feeling right now.
How could you?
But we got to, we got to figure this out.
Oh, no, I won a Super Bowl.
I know what it feels like.
You know, you said me?
You said me?
Hey, that's, hey, don't even touch it.
Oh, he's got a crap.
You need to hide it as you get.
Being nasty talking about a Super Bowl.
Oh, shit.
That was hilarious.
That was a nice zinger.
Um, it's what every day comes.
Can we get some water?
Hey, worried about it.
Can we clay some water?
Hey, got him.
You guys talking about I still got a couple of snacks.
Can we not just figure out something to where it just gets soft to you guys?
You have Patriots, you have Seattle.
There's got to be a way to where it's just like we don't need rock, paper, scissors, or a coin flip.
I, I'd say the MVP.
Yeah, I like that.
Yeah, but what if the MVP doesn't hit?
Seattle wins by three.
I'm tired of this.
What is if?
And then Walker is the MVP.
That's the only thing I can say.
You're asking me to do too much.
Either Walker, it's either going to be Walker or Sam Donald MVP.
But I'm just saying it's going to be.
Sam Donald makes a good story.
Yeah, because he'd go to win.
And Drake May will win it.
Yeah, if the Patriots win, Drake May would be the MVP.
If the Seattle wins, Sam Donald will be MVP.
You don't know that.
Julian Edelman.
We can't do MVP.
Yeah.
You're a team.
You a Patriot and a Seahawk, do team MVP.
Yeah.
Delaney picks a Seahehy
to win the MVP.
Taylor thinks the Patriot will win the MVP.
Oh, yeah, there you go.
But then that's basically your betting Patriots money line.
Right.
That's what I'm saying, but you like the Patriots to win.
He likes Seattle to win.
I like the Patriots to cover.
That's why I picked him plus four and a half.
Are you both set on under 45 and a half?
Yeah.
I'm trying.
Brother.
That's scary.
What do you want to alter to?
That's scary, bro.
If we all move that line, if we're up.
You go up to 55 and take the under?
What about color of Gatorade?
The show sucks today.
One of the worst.
And it's the finale.
Go ahead, Jared.
Put in a good word for me, though.
Really, sees the only one.
A one-on-one four-square match?
And me.
That's hard to do.
One-on-one.
I'm back next year.
That's all right.
Clay's got no dog in this fight.
A minus two and a half.
Can you take Seattle minus four and a half, bro?
What that got to do with the bet?
It solves everything.
No, it doesn't.
I've already lost one locker room championship this year.
I can't do it again.
Let's just keep going and we'll figure this shit out.
It's over.
The show is over.
Yeah, this is the last one, bro.
No, we got MVP.
And then we got bet the boys.
Do you think they'll cover two and a half in each half Seattle?
Ooh, first half, second half.
Hey, go see-hawks, Seahawks.
Don't do it worry.
Just to win.
Fuck it.
I'm winning.
Each half, two and a half.
They'll be about three points.
Okay, I'll give them that, but that pick only counts if we go into a tie, correct?
Yeah, that only counts if we're going to a tie.
Okay.
So I'll give him that.
Seahawks, Seahawks,
first half, second half.
If those two things don't happen
weren't a tie, I win.
Wait, no, you gotta, you gotta...
Time out.
You gotta say who you want first half of.
I thought you wanted to be over, Clay.
I do want it to be over, but that's not fair.
You bought some people around on the show.
I want my man's over here.
Like, I wore it in solidarity.
Multiple claps.
But you got, who's your first half and second half?
That's the quick.
I'll take Patriots plus six and a half in the first half.
No, no, no.
No, no, no, no, what's happening right now?
All right.
Come back to that.
What happened?
What happened?
What happened?
What's the,
Patriots?
Yeah, I'll do the opposite.
I'll go Patriots.
Patriots.
Plus two and a half, plus two and a half.
We're not doing, we're just doing.
Yeah, he just took Patriots.
It's the same, just Patriots.
See, O'clock.
Okay, now if that ties, we should do one more.
Oh, my God.
We'll just do rock paper scissors on that one.
Why can't we figure out to just do.
minus four and a half and plus four and a half or just straight up money line does that does that not
be money line does that matter that much the dual he had no he'd understand he's talking on the belt
oh oh i did shang my other one i i just i don't i i i don't i i i you ain't help him honestly
watching the patriots how they played the last two weeks yes that minus four and a half sounds like that
It's a correct number, but I don't know how they're going to play.
Like he said, the elements has changed.
He did not playing in the cold.
He's not playing in the snow.
They're going to be in San Francisco.
It's going to have some wind a little bit.
It may be chilly, but it's not going to be a factor.
I feel like to Drake May, May he putting it on the show.
And I just think it's going to be close.
It's going to be one by three points.
So why did you just do it?
Sam Darno.
Sam Darno.
Sam D.
I'll go three and a half if you go three and a half.
No, you like your two and a half.
Buddy, I'm bending the knee on that.
We found three and a half.
Don't do it, Delaney.
This is a shark take it or I'm not.
I was just going to say, say if it worked on a tie and you go money line.
Like, why not just share the title?
If we do it three and a half, you say three and a half?
Three and a half?
Huh?
You say three and a half?
Three and a half.
If we do three and a half.
I'm giving you one more point.
That's what I'm saying.
If we do three and a half, we're going to wipe out the Seattle, Seattle, right?
Yes.
Right.
Because you won't tie.
Yeah.
Fuck it, let's do it.
Thank God.
Thank God.
Thank God.
Good luck.
Good luck.
Good luck.
I don't know what happened.
I don't even know.
Bet the boys parlay.
Ramonjie Stevenson, anytime touchdown.
That's me.
Will and Delaney.
So two touchdowns?
I like Kenneth Walker to score a touchdown.
So is Delaney.
We got a three-leg parlay that's plus 1377.
I think that's a hell of a bet-de-law.
You know why.
That's because I'm going with Cooley-Wallon.
Super Cup, Super Bowl MVP.
And if they got JSN's number, look for my man's to at least get in the end zone once.
I see that happen.
Yeah.
I see that happen.
All right.
Yeah, I see that.
You see that happening too?
I see that.
Kenneth Walker, Stevenson, Cup.
Cup.
Good.
What about Drake?
Why don't you all switch one of them to Drake May?
Because that's when he does his damage, those off-schedged plays.
I was a week late.
Drake did score on that QB draw this past weekend.
Yeah.
I just like Kenneth Walker, and I'm thinking, if we got three legs here, plus 1377,
like that's a hell of a bet the boys part of life.
That's a hell of a bet the boys' part of life.
Yeah, and it's only three.
Got a no.
Yeah, our odds increased by 25%.
Yeah.
Because of that Cooper Cup.
I'll talk with him.
Yeah, talk.
We play together.
Yeah, shit.
All of us arrived at.
We doing MVP, too?
Oh, MVP Drake Matt.
Sam Darno.
Sammy D.
Sammy D.
Pride of USC.
You know this is USC.
His first quarterback to start in the Super Bowl?
Yeah.
That's wild.
A lot of bust.
It is crazy with all the history that you have.
Oh, that's crazy.
Carson Palmer.
They have in Alabama.
Oh, really?
Yeah.
They have so many guys in the NFL.
I know.
They do have a lot.
They have a lot going to the NFL.
All right, good.
Hey, great show.
That's the last show of the season.
That's the last season.
We need to start a new show.
We don't know what to do anymore.
We need to start a new show.

Hey, guys, it's us.
The Jonas Brothers. I'm Joe.
I'm Kevin.
And I'm Nick.
And guess what?
We created our own podcast called, Hey, Jonas.
Nice.
Listen to Hey Jonas on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you.
you get your podcast.
Just listen.
We don't care where you hear it.
Another podcast from some SNL late night comedy guy.
Not quite.
Unhumor me with Robert Smygel and Friends.
Me and hilarious guests from Bob Odenkirk to David Letterman help make you funnier.
This week, my guest, SNL's Mikey Day and head writer Streeter Seidel.
Help an Acapella band with their Between Songs banter.
Where does your group perform?
We do some retirement homes.
Those people are starving for banter.
Listen to humor me with Robert Smigel and Friends on the I,
Heart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.
Every family has its secrets.
But what happens when you discover that your dad has been living a double life?
That is not the look of an innocent man.
Is everyone lying to me about who they are?
I felt such desperation.
I felt it was what I had to do.
Listen to Deep Cover the Family Man on the iHeart Radio app, Apple Podcast,

Here's something that should not be as complicated as it is,
getting a racist statue removed.
And here's something that should be a whole lot easier than it is,
getting a new one put up in its place.
I'm Akela Hughes, and Rebel Spirit Season 2 is about both of those things.
As I was watching these statues come down,
I was thinking about what it meant that I grew up in a majority black city
in which there were more homages to enslavers than there were to enslave people.
Listen to Rebel Spirit Season 2 on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts,

This is an IHeart podcast.
Guaranteed human.
